  Speaker 1: Carter wasn't able to play for the first two games.

  Speaker 1: for that Georgia Tech game is huge. It's a road game, obviously,

  Speaker 1: against one of the more respectable, I won't say better,

  Speaker 1: but one of the more respectable teams in the ACC.

  Speaker 1: Georgia Tech had nine wins last year. and has a

  Speaker 1: pretty good offense. We'll see what they look like with

  Speaker 1: a new coordinator. But I think this is ultimately a

  Speaker 3: look past Georgia Tech at their own peril. They're pretty tough.

  Speaker 1: Outside of the injuries, what is your feeling on the

  Speaker 1: defense heading into the season? I know that was our

  Speaker 1: big question mark in the offseason, but just heading into

  Speaker 1: this year with the Noles taking over, with the strength

  Speaker 1: and conditioning changes that they've made, some guys they brought in,
• 5:05
  Speaker 1: some guys they brought back. Again, outside of the injuries,
• 5:08
  Speaker 1: what are your thoughts on the defense? Do you expect
• 5:10
  Speaker 1: them to be better?

  Speaker 3: I don't know how to answer that question with the

  Speaker 3: caveat outside of the injuries. because there's five injuries that

  Speaker 3: are significant. Chaz Coleman was supposed to be our awesome

  Speaker 3: edge guy. He's medically disqualified. We still don't know the

  Speaker 3: whole deal on that. You've got your number one safety,

  Speaker 3: Edris Farouk, who's out for the season. We've got, well, fortunately,

  Speaker 3: the Arian Carter thing got better, but we know Davin Hobbs,

  Speaker 3: there was a rumor that he had broken his foot.

  Speaker 3: Now we think it's not that, but he's in a boot.

  Speaker 3: And that's a five-star defensive lineman that we need to

  Speaker 3: stop the run. He's very important. We don't know quite

  Speaker 3: where he's at. He said he's not out. But, you know,

  Speaker 3: there might be an issue there. Then you've got your

  Speaker 3: third-best cornerback, Richard, who you brought in with money to

  Speaker 3: You've got a specialist in your special teams, plus he's
