- 0:00The following program is produced by the Tech Talk Radio Network. Hi, this
- 0:03is Adrian Barbo. You're listening to tech Talk Radio and you're gonna learn a
- 0:07lot. Welcome to another episode of tech Talk Radio. I'm Andy Taylor,
- 0:12I'm Sean de Weird, and I'm Justin Lemme. I was doing that.
- 0:16We're doing great Happy Father's Day. We get father. Well it's not your
- 0:19first Father's Day, Sean to your second one, right, third, but
- 0:23like times two because he's got two kids, that's right. Yeah, so
- 0:27but your first one was three years ago. This is my seventh, you're
- 0:30seventh. This will be my fortieth something like that. Yeah. Well,
- 0:39yeah, it's a good Father's Day week and we'll go over some my Father's
- 0:41Day gift that. So if you don't know, listeners out there, if
- 0:44you don't know the age difference between us, now you do he just pop
- 0:49in to our video. You could see all look at that one with all
- 0:51the gray. Yeah. Well, it's kind of interesting because you have been
- 0:57kind of out for a couple of weeks, justin You've been going through through
- 1:00all kinds of stuff. We weren't even sure you were going to be able
- 1:02to join us today. Yeah, it's no, it's been interesting. No
- 1:04more water, yeah, no more water. Yeah, because I work at
- 1:08water World. Yeah, well maybe that's why you're going through this? Is
- 1:11that what we shut? Shut up? No? So what my family?
- 1:18My family, uh, my wife and kid. They recently went to Japan.
- 1:23Uh uh, let's see what was it? Two weeks? No?
- 1:26Hold on, let me see what is Yeah, okay, let's like,
- 1:29let's say a couple of weeks ago Friday. Right, wow, So I
- 1:32don't go down in my basement, which was which is where I'm recording this
- 1:36show from right now, as in my basement. I have a studio down
- 1:38here, but I don't go down here every every day, like I mean,
- 1:42I go down here when I need to. And also the the the
- 1:46maintenance room with with the water heater, the HVAC. I also have the
- 1:49cat litter, you know, all that stuff down here. So I came
- 1:53down on a Friday night to watch some TV because I had my theater down
- 1:57here as well. Everything is cool, right, So then I don't come
- 2:00down Saturday. But I come down and this is you know, my Friday
- 2:04was when they left. So I come down Friday night, you know,
- 2:07fine, Saturday, I don't come down Sunday morning. I come downstairs to
- 2:12go and change the cat litter, which I normally do every couple of weeks.
- 2:15As soon as I step down off the stairs onto the main basement floor,
- 2:20I hear squish squish. The feeling in the world. I'm like,
- 2:24oh my God. I rush in over to the maintenance room and I have
- 2:30to actually kick down the door because the door was swollen like I couldn't open
- 2:36the door. I had to literally kick the door in and when I opened
- 2:40it up, I was blasted by like a sauna like it was. So
- 2:47what was going on was my water heater was sprain hot water out of the
- 2:55pressure relief valve. But it had been going for you know, god knows
- 3:04how long. I would say, twenty four to thirty six hours. Oh
- 3:07my lord. But the pressure relief valve pipe was not installed correctly, and
- 3:15it was not installed to drain into the floor of the floor drain. It
- 3:22was left four inches below the water heater, so it just sprayed water everywhere.
- 3:29But you popped on the camera with all of us because we're all we
- 3:30can all see each other. Even though Sean is in South in Indiana,
- 3:35justin You're in Denver. I'm here in Green Valley, Tucson. I looked
- 3:39at it. It doesn't look that bad. It's not as bad as I
- 3:44thought it was. Now, granted, part of it is because they built
- 3:47the house differently than I would have ever expected. So it was only about
- 3:53an inch or two inches of water within that area. Now, it did
- 3:59leak out from the maintenance room. It leaked out into the spare bedroom,
- 4:03and it also leaked out into the family room, which is where my studio
- 4:08is. But it didn't reach quite to the point where my computer is where
- 4:14I'm sitting right now talking to you. But when they so, it got
- 4:18the like the carpet, the pad, the base boards, the door frame,
- 4:27all of that got water damaged. But when they removed all of that,
- 4:31we realized that when they built the house, they actually built a four
- 4:35inch gap between the I don't know what do you call it, the foundation,
- 4:42right, and then the first So the reason behind that is because in
- 4:46Colorado the houses settle a lot more than normal, So they put this gap
- 4:51in between the foundation and the studs, right, And so if the house
- 4:56has to settle, it settles upon soft wood, and they put these little
- 5:00spacers in between all of the foundation and the frame. So if the house
- 5:06has to settle, it squeezes upon the spacers. Right, So all those
- 5:13spacers were removed. So now, but granted this has been we've been in
- 5:17this house for ten years, like there's no more there's no more settling done.
- 5:21So the spacers, they've done their job. So all the spacers got
- 5:27removed, all the base boards, the carpet got damaged. They had to
- 5:30cut some of the carpet, so we're probably going to have to get new
- 5:34carpet because they had to cut it to expose some of the damage. Right.
- 5:40Wow, amazing, and that's work you had done not long ago,
- 5:44two years ago to the day, right, kind of remember that showed a
- 5:46day Sean just went through something similar to this. Yep, yep. It
- 5:50was the pipe for my faucet on the front of my house. We had
- 5:56a really early freeze last winter and I had left my hose on and it
- 6:00froze. And then when I went to use it when we went camping for
- 6:02the solar eclipse. Yeah, it all the water, Most of the water
- 6:05went into the basement instead of opposts. We had this exact same thing like
- 6:10our basement, this exact same area had the same problem. We had an
- 6:14outdoor spigot that wasn't installed correctly by the builder. They didn't put it at
- 6:18a down grade, right, they put it at an upgrade. And so
- 6:23when the water during the winter froze when we went to Canont, it burst
- 6:27that pipe, and our spare bedroom, which is the same area that I'm
- 6:31talking about now, it also flooded. I'm wondering, though, and I
- 6:35hope this gets taken care of justin I really do, But I'm wondering in
- 6:40a situation like this. Technology. You know, we see technology in many
- 6:43different respects when it comes to carbon monoxide smoke detectors. Isn't there something similar
- 6:49to this that works when it comes to water pressure or water problems within the
- 6:55home? Yes, absolutely there is. So so I'll expand upon this a
- 6:58little bit. I can talk a lot more about this. So what we
- 7:01had done after the plumbers came in, they talked about this. They also
- 7:05said, we're going to test your water pressure. And now I remember a
- 7:10few shows ago we talked about how I was doing a remodel up in our
- 7:14master bathroom because we also had a leak up in the master bathroom. And
- 7:19when the guy came out to test that water pressure because he's like he's looking
- 7:24for a cause of loss, which is what the insurance company calls it.
- 7:29He said, hey, look man, your your water pressure sitting at like
- 7:32ninety five one hundred psi? Right, And I'm like, okay, so
- 7:38what does that mean? Like what does that mean? Like what is what
- 7:40is supposed to be? Well, well, code is seventy five, like
- 7:46city city provides you one hundred and fifty psi. All right, right,
- 7:50your pressure regulator valve knocks it down to seventy five. That's what your house
- 7:56should be at. And I was like, so we're sitting at ninety and
- 8:00he's like yeah. I was like, okay, well, can you go
- 8:01ahead and turn it down for me? Yeah, yeah, sure, no
- 8:03problem, I'll turn it down. Boom he turns it down right yeah,
- 8:07or so I thought fast forward to this event about six seven weeks later,
- 8:15right with the water heater plumbers come out. They're like, oh, yeah,
- 8:18you know, problem, problem whatever. They're like, we're gonna test
- 8:20your water pressure. Okay. They told me you're getting one hundred and fifty.
- 8:28What I'm like, wait, wait, hold on, what like you're
- 8:31getting City Pressure. Right, your pressure regulator valve has failed, and you're
- 8:39lucky that your other pipes in your house didn't burst because you are getting one
- 8:45hundred and this is double what you should be getting in your house. Wow.
- 8:50And I was like, okay, so how do I fix this?
- 8:54They're like, well, your pressure regulator valve that was installed by an I
- 9:00I totally am gonna call them out on this, David Weekly Homes. Yeah,
- 9:05plastic plastic. I had a plastic pressure regulator valve that has thankfully lasted
- 9:11me for ten years. Now. I had to pay eleven hundred dollars to
- 9:15get a brass one. But on top of that, to answer your question,
- 9:20I asked them, look, I want to get a smart valve.
- 9:22There you are, that's what it's called. Yeah. So what they did
- 9:26is to start, we put a smart valve sensor on my water heater,
- 9:33so if it senses a water leak, it will shut off the intake to
- 9:39the hot water heater. That'll stop that part. However, I'm also going
- 9:45to get once I can recover financially from all this, now, I'm going
- 9:50to get another smart water valve that'll go on to my main What I'm gonna
- 9:54do with that. One is I'm gonna set up home assistant. So if
- 9:58I sense a le on any of my toilets, any of my sinks anywhere
- 10:03in the house, right, I'm gonna set up an if then that if
- 10:09water leak, since, then turn off water main right, because I am
- 10:15done dealing with this. That would not be good. And that technology is
- 10:18readily available. You could find it. I think you can find this stuff
- 10:22at home depot and low some of it, some of it, yeah,
- 10:26some of you can. Z wave and ziggiwaveh yeah, z wave and Zigby.
- 10:31Now z wave is kind of on its way out. Zigby is kind
- 10:35of in the middle. The new technology is called matter matter okay, matter,
- 10:43and that is approved by Google, Apple, all the other big tech
- 10:48companies. They're trying to incorporate one big technology called matter. But honestly,
- 10:54z wave isn't going anywhere for the next five or ten years. I've heard
- 10:58of that, and I've always thought about it. If that's actually a pretty
- 11:01good idea. They integrate into your you know, in your home. I
- 11:03know, cameras are great, dark bills are great. Why not an alarm?
- 11:07You know what? I have to admit, Andy I failed you because
- 11:11I wanted to get read from smart Homesolver. He is an amazing YouTuber.
- 11:20I mean, this guy is amazing. He lives in Phoenix. I mean,
- 11:22dude, you literally could drive up the road and go talk to him.
- 11:26This guy is probably the best smart home solver that's as a channel Smart
- 11:33Homesolver, but literally, this guy is amazing and the guy lives in Phoenix.
- 11:37I should get you in touch with Reid because I would love to interview
- 11:41him. And I honestly think you would love to see his house because I've
- 11:43watched his videos on YouTube. The amount of automations, the amount of stuff
- 11:48that his house can do, It's like Star Trek, you know, I
- 11:54kind I kind of like it, but I don't know. You know,
- 11:56I'll be honest and as Sean you might you might agree with me here.
- 12:00I'm just so concerned with all this AI stuff and all of this stuff taking
- 12:05over your homes. And I don't want to sound like somebody who is like
- 12:09just scared of this stuff, but it's getting out of hand. I mean,
- 12:13if I want a door to lock, good lock the door. You
- 12:16know, I don't need you to unlock it every day. At the same
- 12:20time and maybe off base there, But do you know what I'm saying.
- 12:22I think a lot of us are getting a little a little leigery about this
- 12:26stuff. I just don't need to start. I just don't want a smart
- 12:28home right now. The only things that are smart in my house are the
- 12:31light bulbs and the doorbell and the cameras. Yeah, but I can't talk
- 12:37to them. I don't have anything set up. I don't use z Wave,
- 12:41I don't use home Assistant, I don't use any of that stuff.
- 12:46But I just don't feel like I need to talk to my house. Let
- 12:48me ask you both a questions. Are you concerned more about the privacy or
- 12:52about like big tech, you know, getting your data? Is that what
- 12:56you're concerned about. I don't know. You're just worried about self autonomy,
- 13:03Like I want to do the things. I want to get up physically,
- 13:05tactile, touch the thing, the thing that is my motive, that is
- 13:09Caitlin and I have agreed that that is we like doing those things, right,
- 13:13Okay, that's fine. Losing that is just like a weird a weird
- 13:18catch for me. Like no, that I okay, I understand it.
- 13:22I was thinking more along the lines of you guys were afraid of like big
- 13:26tech getting your data and stuff. That's what I was going to say is
- 13:30Home Assistant doesn't do that because everything Home Assistant does is local. It doesn't
- 13:33go to the cloud, it doesn't go to any companies. It's all local.
- 13:39Everything is local to your own home. And you can even run home
- 13:43Assistant without an Internet connection. Like so it's not like a right, Yeah,
- 13:50you're not giving your data to the cloud. You're not giving your data
- 13:54to big tech to run a smart home. I understand what you're saying.
- 14:00However, Sean with your point, no, I totally get that. Like
- 14:03you want to be able to touch things. And that's why I think you
- 14:07should watch read on smart Home Solver on YouTube. Our Homesolver is the name
- 14:13of the channel because I've got a smart thermostat and I'll be honest with you,
- 14:16I absolutely love this thing. It's so easy to use, very easy
- 14:20to set up. I could do it from away from the house, you
- 14:22know, if I know I'm coming home and it's a real hot day and
- 14:24I want to make sure that the temperature is set to a certain you know,
- 14:28with the using the Nest thermostat, I can go ahead and do it.
- 14:33I love that piece of technology. Here's the thing about read. Read
- 14:37is like me, I want everything automated. Sean no disrespect. Is like
- 14:43Reid's wife. He doesn't. She does not want everything automated. She wants
- 14:48some things automated, but some things tactile, being able to do certain things.
- 14:56And he has been able to solve all of that. So I believe.
- 15:01I'm pretty sure his channels called smart Home Solver. It is it's smart
- 15:05Home Solver. All right, Well, we'll have to check that out definitely.
- 15:07Well, and I want to try to give on the show. All
- 15:09right, I would like that we have a couple of questions today, and
- 15:13I thought before we get into some of the big news this week, which
- 15:15we will tell you. Number one is the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference has happened.
- 15:20There have been a lot of similarities between some of the announcements they've made
- 15:22and some of the things that have already been available to Android. Now it's
- 15:26not that it's not the dis Apple and say, you know, well Android
- 15:31was first, but there are a couple of things. There is one area
- 15:35that they have really jumped ahead, and we'll be talking about that also Adobe
- 15:39Adobe is this is so it's so weird because I just honestly just started using
- 15:50the brand new light Room Photoshop Premiere with the generative fills, the AI features
- 15:56the firefly, and I'm loving it. Death I showed you a photo.
- 16:00I took a photo of Justin and I removed the background, put him in
- 16:04a data center and did it within fifteen seconds. Before that would have taken
- 16:10me maybe forty five minutes to an hour to do by hand in Photoshop.
- 16:15And now it's just with the technology that's available. But they are really they've
- 16:21really upset a lot of people. This is bad. Yeah, yeah,
- 16:23So we'll tell you the story about that, but first let's get to Genie's
- 16:26comment. Geenie in Tucson, So I've been doing projects on my MacBook and
- 16:32I'm running out of ports and I don't know which model she's running, but
- 16:36it says I have to unplug then plug in and it's been a bit of
- 16:40a pain. Is there a hub device that I should check out so I
- 16:44can plug more in? Uh, and we'll having more items plugged in to
- 16:48grade the performance of the MacBook. So, Adie, there's a website that
- 16:52you've shared previously that you've done some stuff with that has some really great products.
- 16:56I can't recall it off the top of my head, but you've shown
- 16:59some of them on here. They have I remember seeing some USBC hubs.
- 17:02One of them was easy Quest and that's easy dash Quest they make. And
- 17:10again I think it all depends. I mean, if if you've were using
- 17:12a MacBook versus an actual Mac you know that's gonna be a little different depending
- 17:18on the plugins. But the easy Quest, they have an easy Quest device
- 17:21that plugs into the MacBook. That is it offers like thirteen different huh.
- 17:26It's like a big hub with thirteen different connections available. So that one I
- 17:32kind of like USB is USB. I mean that's universal. So yeah,
- 17:37SEP Brent makes universal devices as well, so which could work as well.
- 17:41But that's yeah. The problem. The problem is, like, so if
- 17:44she has an early twenty eighteen twenty nineteen MacBook. This is where Apple kind
- 17:48of bit shots themselves in the foot right there. They announced the thirteen inch
- 17:55MacBooks, right they so they had the fifth to fifteens, the thirteens,
- 17:57and then the airs, the airs and thirteen's. They only went with two
- 18:03USB c's and also got rid of the HDMI port, the built in HDMI
- 18:07port, and the headphone port. You had to doggle literally everything right by
- 18:11extra. So then with the twenty twenty one MacBook with the refresh the three
- 18:17whatever, the typical three year to refresh, they brought back the thicker MacBook
- 18:22body with the HGMI port with two usbc's on both sides of total four USBC
- 18:27ports plus the plus the mag safe charger. Right. So the MacBook that
- 18:33I have with the M two chip in it has two usbc's on the left
- 18:37side with the mag Safe plus a headphone port plus an HGMI plus two additional
- 18:42uspcs on the other side. I rarely find myself having to dongle with that
- 18:48unless I want USBC USB A right right, so the normal USB, like
- 18:52if I have to plug in a card reader or you know, something along
- 18:56those lines. Easy quest could be an option for her, depending and it
- 19:00sounds like it could be, you know, good VIXI the way, it's
- 19:03so funny because we just take it for granted. Most most laptops, honestly
- 19:07in the five hundred dollars price range of people say, oh, get a
- 19:11great deal, only have two USB ports on them, you're gonna find maybe
- 19:15maybe one USB C and two you know generally USB three point ones, so
- 19:19you're not getting that, you know what I mean, You're gonna spend more
- 19:22money to get more ports. But again you could you could find those pretty
- 19:26inexpensively, all right. So for those listening that are thinking, yeah,
- 19:29this is something I could probably use, here's the website address for easy Quests
- 19:33And again they have a whole bunch of products that could be very helpful.
- 19:37If you get to their website, you're gonna see on the front page a
- 19:41USC USB C Gen two hub with adapter with seven ports on it, so
- 19:48they kind of address everything. And again I like their product line that is
- 19:52easyq dot com. Now the other one that also makes a lot of great
- 19:56products not only for Matt but also PC users, and I've used a bunch
- 20:03of their products before as the brent S A B R, E N T.
- 20:07And they honestly make everything from hubs to enclosures. So if you've got
- 20:12a drive that has to go into a new enclosure or you want to add
- 20:15an external, you could do that with them. Two even, I mean,
- 20:18a great product line. You could find them at brent S a b
- 20:22r e n t dot com. Again, s A b R e n
- 20:26t dot com. You'll find their products there and they sell a lot in
- 20:30retail as well as online. But again, some good stuff you're looking to
- 20:34add that. Now, Justin is making his Fallout character dance and is affusing
- 20:40himself on the camera. Thank you, Genie, Thank you, gen all
- 20:44Right, tell us about this shirt. Why did you get this? Oh?
- 20:48Okay, all right. Fallout the game, the video game Fallout.
- 20:56You know it's been around for god twenty years now. It's a series twenty
- 21:00years in Amazon right, yeah, well now, yeah, and then it
- 21:03got like super popular with the Fallout TV series, right that just came out
- 21:10on Amazon Prime. I've I've gotten back into Fallout. I mean, I've
- 21:15always loved Fallout. I played now granted I did not play Fallout one and
- 21:18two, but I played Fallout three, fall Out New Vegas, Fallout four.
- 21:23Now I'm into Fallout seventy six. So I had to get the T
- 21:29shirt with the Fallout Vault boy because I just I think it was awesome,
- 21:33and I had to get Oh yeh, look at that Nuka cola. If
- 21:38you're gonna watch the video on our website tech talk radio dot com. You
- 21:41can see the video. I got this Nuka Cola metal. I don't know
- 21:48what would you call it? Just a little. So they're selling, they're
- 21:51selling merchandise. Now, oh my god, about the merchandise. Oh,
- 21:53Max God, there's so much ben selling merchandise for the games. The games
- 21:57we came in Sandy popular in the early two thousands. I've never been I've
- 22:02never played Fallout. What what's the what's the goal of it? All?
- 22:06Right, Sean, you you go ahead and give the premise of the Fallout.
- 22:08So the premise of Fallout is it's a post apocalyptic video game where you
- 22:14are in a vault, right, and there are living underground, right,
- 22:18a nuclear vault, a nuclear show, a new but there are an unknown
- 22:23number of vaults around the world, and they are all based on different scenarios.
- 22:30So one is like you're you're you have a you know, you could
- 22:33be wealthy and have all the supplies you need to survive, right. One
- 22:37might be you're living in squalor and you only have this level of things.
- 22:41A way, there are all these different scenarios. Every vault is different.
- 22:45So then when all the vaults open, all these people in these different vault
- 22:48scenarios come out into the post apocalyptic world and meet each other. It's just
- 22:52a unique You kind of have to play the game to understand it. But
- 22:56yeah, so, so each game takes place in a different section in America.
- 23:00So Fallout three takes place in Washington, d C. Baltimore, Virginia,
- 23:07right, Fallout New Vegas takes place in obviously Vegas. Fallout four takes
- 23:12place in Boston, Massachusetts area, Rhode Island, stuff like that. Fallout
- 23:18seventy six is what I'm playing right now. It's an it's so the difference
- 23:22between all those and Fallout seventy six is that Fallout seventy six is actually technically
- 23:30classified as an MMO massively multiplayer online, So it is Fallout, but you're
- 23:37playing with other people, like real people, seventy other people. Well,
- 23:45technically you're only playing with twenty five other people on East Server. So what
- 23:48did they call it seventy six because I used to love a game called seventy
- 23:52six. Well, Fallout seventy six is because the vault number that was in
- 24:00Appalachia, which this one takes place in Appalachia, West Virginia, and all
- 24:04that stuff is called Vault seventy six. Okay, so that's why they call
- 24:10it Fallout seventy six. So this one, this particular game that I'm playing
- 24:14right now is Fallout seventy six. It is an online game. Now.
- 24:18The game costs sixty bucks. Right. You can play it from there for
- 24:22free. However, if you want to get a bunch of extra stuff,
- 24:27like you want to get new cosmetic items or extra money to buy things,
- 24:33this is where you have to actually pay real money. And this is how
- 24:37they make you know, Bethesda makes money supporting this game. Right now,
- 24:44Here's the thing about Fallout seventy six. Fallout seventy six came out and twenty
- 24:48eighteen. When I bought it in twenty eighteen, it was a giant mess,
- 24:53like it was horrible. I played it for about two hours and I
- 24:57was like, yeah, this game sucks. Yeah, and I put it
- 25:02down until a month ago right now. Granted, because of the Fallout TV
- 25:08show, right, I was like, hey, I want to get back
- 25:12into it. I didn't know, but at the time when I got back
- 25:17into it, I looked into it. Over four million new players came on
- 25:23to fall Out seventy six. Oh my lord, it has become an amazing
- 25:30game again and it's gotten much better, and I would like to talk about
- 25:33that more after all. Right, Yeah, we gotta take a quick break.
- 25:37We come back. We have another listener question we will share, and
- 25:40it's actually very important that it could add to the security of your smartphones.
- 25:45We'll do that when we come back. I'm ADYE Taylor, I'm Sean de
- 25:47Weird, and I'm justin. Let me find us on the web at tech
- 25:49talk radio dot com. We'll be right back and now fact to tech talk
- 25:55Radio. All right, So before the break, we talked about how I
- 25:59got into fall Out seventy six, and again that's more of like a like
- 26:03a like a multiplayer game where you meet real people, and I was playing
- 26:07by myself and I was a low level character. You know. Again,
- 26:11this game has been out since like twenty eighteen. There have been people that
- 26:15have been playing this since twenty eighteen, but I recently got back into it.
- 26:18So like I'm just like this low level character, don't really know nothing
- 26:23about nothing, right, And I stumble across this guy. His his character
- 26:30name is Jay Dog, right, Jay, I don't know Jay Dog sixty
- 26:34nine or something like that. I don't remember exactly right, right, jay
- 26:37Dog. So I'm like, hey, let's team up for a thing,
- 26:41you know whatever. So we do this mission together and then he turns around
- 26:45to me and he just like he drops a bag on the ground. This
- 26:48is the character in the game. It's a character in the game. It's
- 26:52a real person. He's a real person, right, And he's playing with
- 26:56me and he drops his bag on the ground and I'm like, what I
- 27:00do with this? And he keeps pointing at it like he uses his characters.
- 27:03See how the character's point and move. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 27:07the character, like the character, he keeps pointing at it, and I'm
- 27:10like okay. So I pick it up, and he's given me all of
- 27:12this like armor and weapons and food and everything I need to survive. And
- 27:19I'm like, okay, this dude's pretty cool. Yeah right. So I'm
- 27:23like I ad him as a friend on Xbox. I'm like, hey,
- 27:26that's rue. Let's let's do this. Let's play again, you know,
- 27:30right, So we start chatting on Xbox right, And so tonight, right
- 27:34before I did the show, we finally got to chat with with A with
- 27:40A with the audio, Like I actually did a party chat because I've never
- 27:45had an Xbox headset. I finally bought one for Father's Day. Oh cool,
- 27:48right, So I bought a Father's Day headset. I got him.
- 27:53I'm like, hey, man, what are you up to. He's like
- 27:56no, I'm like, let's let's do a party. So we got on
- 27:57a party. We started chatting. We actually went and did like an expedition,
- 28:02which is like a really super hard mission, and we just chatted the
- 28:07entire time. And I tell you right now, the both of us,
- 28:11we had so much fun. That's cool because it makes it a more fun
- 28:14experience, right, it really does, and with me and even him.
- 28:18He even mentioned that even though the community of Fallout seventy six is very friendly,
- 28:23there's not a lot of people that chat. There's not a lot of
- 28:26people that talk. Everybody kind of just does things by like using their characters
- 28:30to point at things. But to be able to have an actual voice chat
- 28:37with humans and to be able to talk, that's what makes gaming so great.
- 28:42And I really had a great time playing with Jay Dog. So,
- 28:47Jay Dog, I know you're listening because I told you told me you were
- 28:49gonna listen to this. So Jay Dog, thank you so much for listening
- 28:52to this and thanks for playing because cool. Honestly, you have kept me
- 28:57interested in Fallout seven. I know that some years ago when I was at
- 29:02what we call the morning show boot camps, and when I was doing morning
- 29:06radio, we would go to these camps and you like meet other other you
- 29:10know DJs that tell you stories of what they do on the air and some
- 29:12of that. And there was a show and I want to say it was
- 29:15in Atlanta, and what they would they would actually have game nights with their
- 29:21listeners. So they would say, hey, tonight, we're gonna be playing
- 29:23this, and the listeners could come in on voice chat and they could play.
- 29:27And there was a pirate game if I'm not that you played at Justin
- 29:33with pirate ships in the whole bit. CFS was one of those that was
- 29:37real popular for that type of thing. But I mean, this is a
- 29:41great way to connect with others or even have your friends get together and do
- 29:45it. I know, you know, the closest thing before that has been
- 29:48D and D with Sean has been and Matt both play that quite a bit.
- 29:52And before your time, before you knew us, here we go no
- 29:57no no no no no no no no no no. I don't mean like
- 30:00that. Sean and I used to play every single Yeah, we would get
- 30:07on No, it was days. But what what we We weren't even using
- 30:11Discord at the time because we were using team Speaker. Yeah, so there's
- 30:18there's a quick summary of the of the way we used to chat with playing
- 30:22video games. All is a messenger for a long time, yep, MSN
- 30:27messenger, then then a mess messenger added video ic q if you did ic
- 30:33q q. Then it was Mumble, I remember Mumble yeah. Then it
- 30:40was Ventrillo Wow. Then it was team Speak yep. Then it was Skype
- 30:48right yeap, everybody everybody skype calls. Then it was uh kind of back
- 30:55and forth between Mumble team Speak. A lot of companies tried to put in
- 31:00voice chat into their games, yeah, without success, and then Discord came
- 31:04along. This sort has been the biggest, right. Discord originally was a
- 31:08browser, just a browser base, just like you just logged into a web
- 31:12page and you just chatted to a HTML five or whatever. Yeah, and
- 31:17it was not very good. But it's crazy how fast discord. You know.
- 31:22Discord has been around now since I think twenty fifteen, right, well,
- 31:26because how crazy and I know companies that use it to do all their
- 31:33like they use it for it, you know, meetings and everything because the
- 31:36video and audio it's you pay for a Nitro subscription and you get way better
- 31:41audio video and it's cheaper than a Zoom license. It's cheaper than most right,
- 31:45I've kind of dabbled a little in Discord. We have like a Discord
- 31:48channel which I've really done nothing with and I kind of like to this,
- 31:52maybe gonna get me to get my button gear and actually start giving that a
- 31:56shot and playing around with that. And Zoom kind of surprised a lot of
- 32:00people because Skype was the big thing and then suddenly Zoom came along and now
- 32:07they have have subscription based We actually bought a license so we can all use
- 32:12it. And you know, I love it. I think it's a great
- 32:15service. And hadn't thought about using Discord as that, you know, with
- 32:19that in mind too. And Microsoft a big story this week and I kind
- 32:22of want to get your your thoughts on this, guys. How do you
- 32:27guys feel about this this new Microsoft co pilot feature that some are saying it's
- 32:32going to scream, this is see this is how they make it seem so
- 32:37so plausible. It's going to screen capture like every thirty seconds what you're doing
- 32:42on your computer. Well, the recall thing, right, yeah, the
- 32:46recall COLT recall. It got leaked and then they were just like, oh
- 32:52yeah, we're thinking about doing that, and then more details came out,
- 32:55literally capturing everything everything you do on your computer, everything, he strokes,
- 33:02inputs, mouse movements, right everything. I'm sorry, I just okay.
- 33:09I I can go to my computer right now and search for a random file
- 33:16and it would never show up, right, So, so how am I
- 33:22supposed to believe that this is going to be better? Like you've had what
- 33:29forty no, thirty five years to refine your search feature within Windows and you
- 33:37can't do it. And now all of a sudden you're gonna come out and
- 33:39say, hey, we're just gonna take snapshots of your computer and we'll be
- 33:44able to find what you're looking for. No no, no, no,
- 33:46no, no no no. You're taking snapshots in my computer and you're going
- 33:51to archive it to train AI. I don't. I don't believe it,
- 33:54and I don't that's I don't want it, And that's driving a lot of
- 33:58people to the point where there's I'm done with this, you know what,
- 34:00Yeah, I'm going to Linux exactly. You look at the shares of raspberry
- 34:05Pie. They went up quite a bit just recently, and you wonder is
- 34:08there a reason for that. Are people finally saying, you know, the
- 34:13whole push for people to move from Windows ten to Windows eleven, people say,
- 34:16is that so that they'll be able to have these capabilities? Corporate greed?
- 34:21You know, somebody asked the other day, and users don't want an
- 34:25ad experience in your faith on their personal computers, Like, that's just corporate
- 34:29greed. It's so it's so intrusive on Windows ten and Windows eleven, Windows
- 34:34eleven, it's atrocious. And there's more talks about it being added in Windows
- 34:37twelve, even more ads in Windows twelve. Right, it's just ever since
- 34:44they put ads in the start menu in Windows eight. Yeah, I lost
- 34:47my brain about it. And it's so hard to even say I'm gonna dump
- 34:52Windows for Linux because there's a lot of stuff that I do that doesn't support
- 34:57on Linux. Yeah, that's the thing. And you know what, we've
- 35:00kind of over the years used programs and kept integrating these programs into the Windows
- 35:06interface. The idea of switching out to you know, the Linux operating system
- 35:10just because we don't want to have that means those problem those programs were not
- 35:15going to be able to use anymore. Now. Trust you can find a
- 35:17lot of similar programs Open Office and some of the others that will work.
- 35:22But we've gotten so used to using what works for us, so we're kind
- 35:27of pigeonholed into that. You know, I've got and I really would love
- 35:30I would love it if Slick was here, because Slick is the one that
- 35:34I think out of all of us that's probably delved the most into the Linux
- 35:37OS's. But you know, I've got a Raspberry Pie system here with a
- 35:43keyboard that plugs into the computer through via HDMI. I mean, it's it's
- 35:46actually really really cool. But I really have yet to be able to just
- 35:52sit down and start working in it and and utilize it. And I think
- 35:57that's going to be the problem for a lot of people that say, maybe
- 36:01I don't want to do this whole Windows twelve thing or Windows eleven thing.
- 36:05I don't want to see ads. I don't want to you know, I
- 36:07don't want to have AI taking screenshots of the work I'm doing. So you
- 36:14know, maybe go this other route, but are they really gonna want to
- 36:17do that? And then you've got that learning curve. Then you've got people
- 36:21that go, well, I'll just move over to Apple then, you know,
- 36:22and Apple's got its own things going on right now. They're you know,
- 36:27they're really delving in the whole AI, the AI interface as well.
- 36:31So there's just so many different issues that I think confuse a lot of US
- 36:37users that are maybe saying we're on the fence and then maybe we just accept
- 36:42it and just just roll with it. So I don't know who knows there,
- 36:45and there's a lot of people that suddenly just becomes a conspiracy theory for
- 36:50so many people. This is the thing we as, you know, we're
- 36:52doing the show here and we're talking about we're supposed to talk about the finer
- 36:55points of technology. We've kind of gone down a little rabbit hole where we're,
- 37:00you know, we're looking at these conspiracies. But again, there's a
- 37:02lot of people that are saying, I've had enough conspiracy. But there's people
- 37:06that said I have enough. Why why do I want my computer to screenshot
- 37:10every thirty seconds? But say, oh, it's for the good of the
- 37:14user. Because it's going to help our AI streamline how it's going to be
- 37:17able to deliver faster for you. What if I'm watching some content that I
- 37:23don't want. That's the whole point people to know. That's that's the whole
- 37:28point. That's why people are saying, you know, wait a minute,
- 37:31where is my privacy in how you say you're going to make the technology better
- 37:36for me? How is that going to really happen. We've seen time and
- 37:39time again where companies will say we're doing this thing and don't worry, your
- 37:44data is protected, nobody can see it and nobody can view it. It's
- 37:49it's safe, it's encrypted. And then a year later it's like, oh,
- 37:52yeah, those four people in that one room that we're monitoring everything on
- 37:55that one thing you did. Yeah that was a one time deal. And
- 38:00then a year later, oh, all that data is now on the dark
- 38:02web. So you guys are host Yeah, yeah, no everything. No,
- 38:06there is no privacy. There is nothing, dude. Seriously, everything
- 38:09they talk about is oh privacy, Oh, you're gonna be fine, even
- 38:14Apple with oh we're the best in the privacy business. No you're not.
- 38:19Everything you do is going in the dark web. Well, justin. I
- 38:22don't know if I go that far to say that everything that we do is
- 38:27on the dark web. Let's face it, technology is awesome. I love
- 38:31it, and it can be a lot of fun to get online and be
- 38:35able to connect with you know, connect with relatives, connect with friends,
- 38:38you know, follow your passions, follow your hobbies, and you know,
- 38:43we're talking about that dark side of the technology. There is a bright side
- 38:46and it can be a lot of fun to learn. I mean, I've
- 38:51been able to get online and find letters from my grandfather that were posted on
- 38:57eBay that were just blew me away, not know that these even existed,
- 39:01you know, or even take a look at the house that you grew up
- 39:05in, or see the town. So yeah, there is positives to it,
- 39:08but we have to be aware of the turns that could be taken.
- 39:15And just as long as we're informed, I think we're okay either way.
- 39:19We're going to take another quick break. We come back that listener question that
- 39:22could address some security issues that you should know about. On the way,
- 39:25I'm Andy Taylor. I'm sean to word find us on the dark web.
- 39:28Oh yeah, I'm justin. Let me and you can find us on x
- 39:31at tech Talk Radio. We'll be right back now back to teeth Talk Radio.
- 39:37So we've been talking about a lot about privacy and stuff. We have
- 39:39another listener account that kind of ties it as Rodney in Saharrita. Yeah,
- 39:44says I heard the NSA is telling people to reboot their phones as a safety
- 39:47measure. Is that something I should do with my PC? I have a
- 39:52computer that I leave on all the time. Is that bad? Oh?
- 39:54Wow, there's a good thought. Are NSA, for those who don't know,
- 39:58is National Security Agency. You're a division of the federal government and they
- 40:04look at all things cyber and security. I know that Andy touched on this
- 40:08last week in the show and he read another reader comment about restarting their phones.
- 40:15So yes, you should be restarting your computer, for one, because
- 40:19if you don't reboot it, it's not going to get the most to current
- 40:21updates. And those updates are there to help you in security. Right,
- 40:25it's good every you know, every Tuesday, every the first Tuesday of every
- 40:29month, Windows pushes out new updates. They push out security updates even more
- 40:32frequently than that. So yes, you should be rebooting, rebooting your computer
- 40:37every day, not necessary every other day. Sure, but it's just getting
- 40:43it, getting in a good habit of making sure those updates are running on
- 40:45your computer so you're protected at least from a security standpoint. There is a
- 40:50lot of people that you may talk to that will say that they turn off
- 40:52their computer every night, and you know, in some cases you can enable
- 40:58hibernation. God no, no, really, hibernation has been proven to be
- 41:04bad. Do not use hibernation. Okay, you think it would be better
- 41:08to leave because I honestly think that letting it sleep would be kind of an
- 41:14okay thing. Now, sleep, sleep is fine? Sleep, Well,
- 41:16that's what I'm talking about. That's what I'm talking No, they're there.
- 41:19But the thing is is Windows there is a hibernation mode that is not good.
- 41:25Hibernation mode was a thing that Microsoft came out with XP. Yeah,
- 41:32it is horrible. It is not good for your computer. Hibernation mode is
- 41:37the first thing that you should disable on a Windows PC. Now, granted,
- 41:43what you said, sleep mode is fine, Sleep is fine, right,
- 41:47and going what Sean said every other day, every two days, three
- 41:52days, whatever, Yeah, restart your computer, but you don't need to
- 41:57shut it down every single night. You don't want to shut it down every
- 42:00single night and reboot it because that increases wear and tear on your computer parts.
- 42:06Okay, but the phone actually, for those who didn't know and maybe
- 42:08didn't hear last week, that is something that should be should be done at
- 42:14least once a week, same way as you said once a week with a
- 42:16computer. So it's it's it's a priority because mobile phones are really more of
- 42:22a target than personal computers at home because they're out and about being connected to
- 42:30any number of cell phone towers or hotspots or you know, you're more mobile
- 42:34with your phone obviously, and you're connecting to more unsecure wells, networks and
- 42:37things like that. So Apple and Android and Google they released pretty much daily
- 42:45security updates sometimes if if there's a zero day exploit or something like that that
- 42:50hasn't been patched or needs to be patched immediately. So just making sure you're
- 42:53restarting your phone to get those updates and to you know, clear out unnecessary
- 42:59appsider running in the background, things like that. Just an overall health of
- 43:01your phone it helps too. So and this this still applies not only to
- 43:06iPhone but also Android devices as well. If when it comes to really it's
- 43:10any internet connected technology. Just making sure you're getting your security updates is the
- 43:16big one. Well, honestly, Sean, would any technology in general.
- 43:21Yeah, that's true. We start your devices, laptops, cell phones,
- 43:27uh uh, your internet router, your emotem at your home, right,
- 43:30disconnect it once in a while every week, unplug it, plug it back
- 43:36in, reboot it. It's gonna help refresh that cash, that that memory,
- 43:43right, It's gonna make things work better. Great stuff, great tips.
- 43:46Thank you for that email. Appreciate that. Member. You can email
- 43:50us your questions at tech Guys at tech talk radio dot com. Again,
- 43:55tech guys all one word at tech talk radio dot com. All right,
- 44:00now, let's shift over to what's going on with Adobe. There has been
- 44:04a lot of people upset at Adobe this week, and Adobe Photoshop users are
- 44:10kind of outraged by the company's new terms and their new terms and conditions.
- 44:17Have some of these people that do a lot of creation work kind of upset.
- 44:22And I'll be honest with you, just really loving. I'm really loving
- 44:25the new Photoshop light Room Premiere Pro, the whole suite of products. I've
- 44:30been able to test it out, and I got to say I'm happy with
- 44:32what it could do, and then all of a sudden it turned around and
- 44:35this story was coming out. The big concern with this is that Adobe's new
- 44:39terms could allow it to access user content, and that's what is upsetting people,
- 44:45and even some of this content that may be protected. So say you're
- 44:51doing a movie poster for a film that has got an NDA a non disclosure
- 44:58agreement, and suddenly a third party could come in and look at your work.
- 45:02That's do I think that'll do with it? I don't know. But
- 45:07the BAC concern is it appears that Adobe would be training its generative AI model,
- 45:13Firefly, on user content. So if you're generating content with Firefly,
- 45:17it's going to train its continue to train its AI model on that, which
- 45:22can be potentially proprietary or NDA, you know, nondisclosure agreement stuff. So
- 45:30that's the big thing, and it even you know, caused some people like
- 45:34Alton Brown, the famous celebrity chef. His production company suspended their use of
- 45:38Adobe products until I don't know if they're back using it or not as of
- 45:42this recording, but he said, until the lawyers get in it, we're
- 45:45not generating any content on Adobe because we don't know if it's our content anymore.
- 45:50There was a antel Adams was a great photographer and the antel atoms the
- 45:54state recently found and Adobe did take it down, which was good. So
- 46:00the problem basically surrounded AI, artificial intelligence that can create images. And you
- 46:07know, we think of, okay, the ability for AI to fix an
- 46:09image as a photographer or somebody that does digital digital restoration work. It's really
- 46:15cool when AI can get in there and kind of adjust things. But to
- 46:21create an image like this is what the complaint was. To create an image
- 46:28that was almost replicant by the AI of Ansel adams work, and this AI
- 46:35created photo was actually sold in the Adobe stock images. That's what upset a
- 46:39lot of people. Now again Adobe did take the images in question down,
- 46:45which is good, but it did upset a lot of people because AI is
- 46:49going to be calling on certain images, certain styles, and that's where there's
- 46:54a really there's really kind of a dark area there. But you know,
- 47:00these are the kind of things that we may see start to happen on a
- 47:01more regular basis with the use of products like this. The other issue that
- 47:07caused a lot of ire was the terms of services and how it seems like
- 47:14the terms of services have been adjusted, and some are saying this is not
- 47:17what they want. Some people are saying that's it, They're going to boycott
- 47:21Adobe. Others are saying they need to adjust their their their actual terms their
- 47:28agreement, and people need to read that fine print when they sign up for
- 47:32using a product. Well, see, that's the problem is nobody ever reads
- 47:37the fine print. I'm guilty of it. I'm sure both of you are.
- 47:40Also it's I'm too lazy to read through the terms of service. Agree,
- 47:45agree, Agree without reading it knowing, Oh, I just gave up
- 47:50my entire contact list on my phone to an app that I is owned twenty
- 47:52eight percent by ten cent or you know who knows what, right. Yeah,
- 47:55So a lot of people don't. And that's just the corporations and the
- 48:00lawyers knowing that people aren't going to read those and trying to sneak things in
- 48:05under people's nose. Well, like I said, I've been using the product,
- 48:07just recently started this new version because I go back to CS five on
- 48:14the Adobe Master Suite and I'm really liking it. And this is kind of
- 48:17a bummer. But hopefully they'll adjust that for the consumer, because you know,
- 48:22they have to go in knowing that if their product, is their creation
- 48:27is going to be used somewhere else, then they have to make a decision
- 48:30that's going to benefit them. All right, I really wanted to show you
- 48:31guys some stuff that I have gotten. These could be some really good Father's
- 48:37Day pics for gift giving tomorrow of courses Father's Day. First off, an
- 48:43Anchor five point twenty one power station. Holy crud. This thing is so
- 48:49cool. It can power USBC USB three point one. The thing's massive heavy
- 48:55is that it's I want to say, maybe ten pounds. It's not that
- 49:00but takes about four hours to fully charge. But here's what I love.
- 49:04You know, when you get an air compressor in your car and your tire
- 49:07you've lost, you know, lost the air pressure in your tire and you
- 49:10or you need that air. That air compressor no problem. You could actually
- 49:15use it by plugging in. It's got an actual car type lighter in.
- 49:20It has an emergency strobe light. Sells for about two hundred bucks I found
- 49:24it. Anchor is amazing. Anchor makes some really good products and you can
- 49:29recharge this with solar panels. The solar panels are about two ninety nine,
- 49:34it'll take a little longer than the four hours to fully charge. Can you
- 49:37can you just charge it regularly with electricity? Like oh yeah, yeah,
- 49:40yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, definitely definitely. But I'm just saying that
- 49:44as an option if if you were in a situation, were in a situation
- 49:46we had no power and lost power completely, you want to have if you
- 49:51have solar panels, you'd be able to do that. What's the battery life
- 49:53on that for like a typical like use well, to give you an idea,
- 49:57you could recharge your smartphones about twenty times fully charged. Holy cow,
- 50:01So on one charge drones you're taking a drone out, you can recharge out
- 50:06about five times, so fully charged. What is it? Sell for two
- 50:09hundred bucks and although Anchor Direct was selling it on Amazon for so you may
- 50:19find an even better deal on it. But love this one, and then
- 50:22that's amazing. I ended up getting some headphones because I want to try start
- 50:28playing games. I got the Steel Series Arctics Nova five wireless. No,
- 50:34you need a pair of headphones, just as Bundy to himself there, I'm
- 50:38pretty happy with these. You can it has a dongle, so you can
- 50:42plug it into everything, even a switch, or you can just I went
- 50:46on a walk and did Bluetooth and it was great. I was able to
- 50:51hear and these are really comfortable, really good. I actually almost bought that
- 50:55exact model. I was looking for a pair of headphones that would work with
- 50:59the Xbox, but because Xbox uses their own codec, you have to either
- 51:04have a dongle or you have to have the exact Bluetooth capable headset for that,
- 51:09and I didn't get it because I got the Xbox headset for seventy nine.
- 51:14Oh that's even better because this one retails for one twenty nine, which
- 51:19is actually a better price point than some of the other Steel series headphones,
- 51:24which deliver awesome quality. This really does deliver great, great quality as well.
- 51:29All Right, one more thing about I want to show you guys this
- 51:31little device that's inside this little foil wrapper. No, I'm not happy with
- 51:38the fact that Microsoft is forcing a lot of us to jump to Windows eleven
- 51:44as of October of next year. That's it. It's gonna be it.
- 51:46You're not gonna get security updates. Who knows if that'll change between now and
- 51:50then. I have a feeling that there will be something, however, I
- 51:53went in and bought myself a TPM two point zero module. I'm gonna try
- 52:00it, sucker. It was sixteen dollars, so I'm gonna give it a
- 52:05shot. To plug it into my motherboard. I've got any where does that
- 52:08plug into. There's a TPM header on the board, so you have to
- 52:13have like an actual like a recent motherboard to even have that ability exactly.
- 52:17And this will allow you to plug that in and then you would be able
- 52:22to of course hopefully, and I'm going to test it. I'll do it
- 52:24on video, be able to test it and see if I can actually get
- 52:28it to run sixteen bucks for that sixteen dollars. Basically, it's going to
- 52:31be motherboard specific. So if you've got an MSI, you've got an Asus,
- 52:37but there is a company that makes a universal TPM two point oh module.
- 52:42I hopefully have an update for you next week on that. I gotta
- 52:45take another quick break, moving back with more of tech Talk Radio. I'm
- 52:47Andy Taylor, I'm Sean Duird and I'm justin. Let me find us on
- 52:51Facebook at facebook dot com forward slash tech Talkers. We'll be right back and
- 52:55now back to tech talk Radio. Hey, this is Harrold Paranoia and you
- 53:00listen to the geeks on the radio tech Talk Radio. I want to make
- 53:04sure we remind you that you can check out our YouTube page which is up
- 53:07on YouTube look for tech Talk Radio and there you will find our television segments
- 53:12from News thirteen Fox eleven where we talked about some of the products that I
- 53:16showed this past week. The Anchor five twenty one power station, which is
- 53:22actually a really cool device and with monsoon storms coming, this could be a
- 53:25great solution for you. Also, we have shared the Steel series Arctus five
- 53:31X headphones. These are great headphones, can work with just about anything,
- 53:36whether you want to work out, or play your games, or connect to
- 53:37your computer, you could do that. And then of course the TPM two
- 53:42point zero module, which we'll have a video up there where we actually show
- 53:45getting that in and hopefully getting Windows eleven to install on a computer that was
- 53:51not fully capable as of yet. Again, that's a tech Talk Radio on
- 53:55YouTube. Another feature we do love is our website of the week. We
- 54:00like to give you websites that you might want to check out and have some
- 54:02fun with. Justin you've got one all ready to go. I came across
- 54:06this a couple of weeks ago. Cloaked dot com. That's a cl o
- 54:10a k ed cloaked dot com. So it's website to protect your personal identity
- 54:19from everyone. Really, so you can make your data invisible by generating unlimited
- 54:25identities. So no, I mean really, I mean seriously, now this
- 54:31is so think about this. Think about this. You go to a website,
- 54:37a random website, and it's like, hey, register with us to
- 54:43get the most current updates and to access the information that you really want to
- 54:47know, right, And you're like, well, I really don't want to
- 54:50do that because now you're just gonna spam me with with with marketing emails.
- 54:54Right, yeah, well you use cloaked dot com, you can generate an
- 54:59email. That email will then forward to your real email, right, but
- 55:04then everything else gets gets put into like a black hole. Okay, cloaked
- 55:08dot com if you want to create just it's just too it's too confusing to
- 55:14be who I am and now as it is. Well, yeah, true,
- 55:19but this also works with your cell phone too. Okay, so if
- 55:22you have to give up a number, it'll actually generate a different number for
- 55:24you. I mean being cloaked work for the Romulans and Star Trek, so
- 55:29it's gotta be good. All right, there we go, There it is
- 55:32there, it is the Star Trek reference. Well, we're gonna beam ourselves
- 55:36out of here. That wraps up this week's Tech talk Radio h Thank you
- 55:39for joining us, Justin. We hope your water situation gets taken care of.
- 55:44Thank you. That's it for this week. I'm Andy Taylor and I'm
- 55:49Justin. Let me live long and prosper. We'll see you next time.
