- 0:50Speaker 2: an awful waterfall.
- 0:51Speaker 3: I know your mike was throwing me off at Jake's
- 0:54Speaker 3: mike on and so of yours.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Oh well that makes sense. You had Kinne's mike, Cane's mike. Yeah.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I really couldn't hear myself either.
- 0:59Speaker 3: Sorry, so as well again.
- 1:03Speaker 4: Oh no, we can't do it again. It's one one take.
- 1:09Speaker 4: It's a one take you.
- 1:10Speaker 3: We're off to a great start.
- 1:13Speaker 4: Uh, we are off to a great start because I'm
- 1:16Speaker 4: feeling great today. I woke up bright eyed, bushy tailed.
- 1:20Speaker 4: It's one of those days. I woke it so it
- 1:22Speaker 4: was a good wake up this morning. I woke up, well,
- 1:23Speaker 4: it was Tuesday, so I always feel good if I
- 1:26Speaker 4: wake up in the middle of the night. Is this
- 1:27Speaker 4: happened a couple of times. I woke up and I
- 1:31Speaker 4: thought it was time to get up for the show.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Laying over, tapped the old watch over the phone and
- 1:37Speaker 4: it was like three fifteen. So I was like, oh, baby,
- 1:40Speaker 4: got two more hours of this one hundred and twenty
- 1:42Speaker 4: more minutes.
- 1:44Speaker 2: So I was excited.
- 1:44Speaker 4: So when that happens, I usually wake up pretty tie.
- 1:50Speaker 4: I didn't go to bed till like midnight either. Anyway,
- 1:55Speaker 4: How are y'all doing. Let's get a little vibe check.
- 1:56Speaker 2: How are you? I'm feeling great this morning. How are
- 1:58Speaker 2: you all doing?
- 1:59Speaker 3: I also feel great? Right I y'all know, I had
- 2:03Speaker 3: like a little injury I was trying to recover from,
- 2:05Speaker 3: and then I was training, So I haven't lifted a
- 2:08Speaker 3: lot in the past like two months. Got a lift
- 2:12Speaker 3: in yesterday, okay, with heavy I feel amazing.
- 2:16Speaker 4: What So when you go lifting, are we doing like
- 2:19Speaker 4: are we phoned back to the sports days or we're
- 2:22Speaker 4: doing some like Olympic type lifting.
- 2:24Speaker 2: There's some country club workouts? What are we doing?
- 2:27Speaker 3: So there's some hand cleans in there, all right? And
- 2:30Speaker 3: then we did some elevated squats. Shout out to the block.
- 2:34Speaker 3: That's where I go, They're awesome.
- 2:36Speaker 4: You have to like, you have to be at the
- 2:37Speaker 4: right type of gym to do like a power clean yes,
- 2:40Speaker 4: or people look at you weird, Yes for sure.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Right. So my trainer she also does like CrossFit. Okay,
- 2:47Speaker 3: so she's a she's a han cleaner.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:51Speaker 4: A lot of people don't like a lot of noise,
- 2:53Speaker 4: Like a lot of people don't like a lot of noise,
- 2:56Speaker 4: I say, noise in the gym, but like people like
- 2:57Speaker 4: slamming weights down. Yeah, dropping weights you give a lot
- 3:00Speaker 4: of funny looks.
- 3:01Speaker 3: True. Everybody's like minded at that gym.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Though, especially like when you're lifting and there's people like
- 3:07Speaker 4: over forty there, I can say that now I'm forty.
- 3:12Speaker 4: You gotta be careful with the noise you make with
- 3:14Speaker 4: a wave. So the ones you like the noise complaint?
- 3:18Speaker 4: Can you rack those weights a little quire like.
- 3:21Speaker 3: The lunk alarm or something like that or what do
- 3:23Speaker 3: they call it? Yeah, the lunk alarm at Planet Fitness,
- 3:26Speaker 3: which if you're saying, this is a judgment free zone, okay,
- 3:30Speaker 3: So at Planet Fitness they have like the lunk alarm.
- 3:33Speaker 3: I don't I don't know if it's ever been used
- 3:36Speaker 3: or if it's just for decoration.
- 3:37Speaker 2: It's a okay, So.
- 3:39Speaker 3: If you slammation, right, So like if you slam your
- 3:42Speaker 3: weights down, you're a lunk or something like that. But
- 3:44Speaker 3: if you're a judgment free zone, that feels pretty judgmental.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Yeah, judgment can go one direction, right, they can't come
- 3:51Speaker 2: back the other. Yeah.
- 3:52Speaker 5: So I go to Planet Fitness and dnim they kidding
- 3:55Speaker 5: they have the lunk alarm.
- 3:58Speaker 2: I don't. I don't think it works like it's up there.
- 4:00Speaker 2: But yeah, like I don't, No one man's it.
- 4:03Speaker 5: No, it wouldn't even it wouldn't even waits. I heard
- 4:06Speaker 5: some dudes like screaming at each other the other day.
- 4:09Speaker 5: Some old dudes got in a fight over something and
- 4:11Speaker 5: it never went off, and they're pretty loud.
- 4:13Speaker 2: So the word is lunk.
- 4:16Speaker 5: Yeah, I think, Okay, that's what it says on the
- 4:18Speaker 5: wall underneath it.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Do you get a lunk warning first before the alarm
- 4:21Speaker 2: goes off?
- 4:22Speaker 3: Such a lunk? Yeah, bro, I am just which they
- 4:26Speaker 3: don't even have free weights really Planet Fitness, So I
- 4:30Speaker 3: don't know if you can slams there.
- 4:33Speaker 5: People kind of say that it's always kind of a
- 4:35Speaker 5: like a misconception of my mine does doesn't.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Talk one that have the smith machines?
- 4:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean mine is like a whole section in
- 4:42Speaker 2: the back.
- 4:43Speaker 3: That's just free weights, well like dumb bells.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Both, they both.
- 4:49Speaker 3: I've only seen the Smith machines there.
- 4:52Speaker 4: The Smith machines is like the barbelle. You can do
- 4:54Speaker 4: squats and bench, but it's on the rack so it
- 4:56Speaker 4: doesn't move out of the rack.
- 4:57Speaker 2: It's like a safety deal. Yours has like free like
- 5:00Speaker 2: we'll have a squat without us both.
- 5:02Speaker 5: But yeah, they have like a couple of racks in
- 5:03Speaker 5: the back. It's like just rack bar whatever you want
- 5:07Speaker 5: want to They.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Got like three or four up in the back. Interesting, so.
- 5:12Speaker 6: Feel great, So you feel great, incredible and your injury
- 5:16Speaker 6: feels good.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Yeah you're so back. Are we going to train for
- 5:19Speaker 2: another half marathon?
- 5:21Speaker 3: Yeah? Not till November though. So I got a tin
- 5:25Speaker 3: K I'm gonna do.
- 5:25Speaker 2: First K you're gonna do.
- 5:27Speaker 3: I'm gonna do the Crescent City tin k because everyone
- 5:30Speaker 3: says that was super fun?
- 5:31Speaker 2: Is that is that? But that's is that shorter than
- 5:33Speaker 2: a half marathon?
- 5:33Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 5:34Speaker 3: Six miles?
- 5:35Speaker 2: Okay, it's about half of what you did.
- 5:38Speaker 3: You did a little less than half.
- 5:41Speaker 2: You do you have like any desire at all to
- 5:44Speaker 2: go full marathon?
- 5:49Speaker 3: There is a desire to see if I can do it,
- 5:51Speaker 3: but I don't.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Like it's not well, you can do it, just so
- 5:55Speaker 2: how much pain do you want to go through? Volunteer?
- 5:58Speaker 3: It's just like it seems so boring, Like I couldn't
- 6:02Speaker 3: imagine doing double what I did because I just feel
- 6:05Speaker 3: like I would have got so bored.
- 6:06Speaker 4: It's twenty six kilometers twenty six point two miles miles.
- 6:10Speaker 5: Yeah, dude, yeah, I'd get bored with six miles. I'd
- 6:13Speaker 5: be run even if I was in shape enough to
- 6:15Speaker 5: do it, which I'm not. Even if I was, i'd
- 6:17Speaker 5: be like, I.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Can't ohent on my first run since like the half yesterday,
- 6:20Speaker 3: I felt terrible.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Did you share your what you're my time? No? Okay,
- 6:26Speaker 2: you know, not asking you to do that.
- 6:27Speaker 3: I don't think I want to.
- 6:29Speaker 4: But what is like an average marathon two.
- 6:32Speaker 3: And a half for a marathon, oh marathon, Yeah, that's
- 6:36Speaker 3: like five six.
- 6:40Speaker 4: That people just do it as like a goal. But
- 6:42Speaker 4: in some people take like eight hours to do it.
- 6:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:44Speaker 3: I think there's people that take like eight hours.
- 6:46Speaker 4: It take me a full day. Yeah, I'd stop, get
- 6:49Speaker 4: some lunch.
- 6:50Speaker 3: There is like a part of me that feels like
- 6:52Speaker 3: can you do it? Like do you want to test
- 6:55Speaker 3: that and see if you can do it. Yeah, and
- 6:57Speaker 3: I want to, but also, like the same time, I
- 7:01Speaker 3: don't have a desire too. It's in the back of
- 7:03Speaker 3: my mind though, don't be surprised if I end up
- 7:06Speaker 3: doing one.
- 7:07Speaker 2: So the next half marathon November, where's it at in
- 7:11Speaker 2: New Orleans? The New Orleans.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Yeah, they're bringing their marathon back.
- 7:16Speaker 2: You look at sponsoring that thing. You should hydrate the folks.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, Well, I uh a quick update on
- 7:25Speaker 4: my training Hyrid rock Star high Rocks. It's right into
- 7:30Speaker 4: March into March High Rocks in Houston. Been training a
- 7:34Speaker 4: little bit. We were doing like once a week in December.
- 7:38Speaker 4: We went to two weeks in January or I'm sorry,
- 7:41Speaker 4: two times a week in January, but then I was out.
- 7:44Speaker 4: I didn't do anything in Mobile last week. I just
- 7:46Speaker 4: kind of sat there and talked to a microphone. Yeah
- 7:49Speaker 4: for a long time. Now we're going to go three
- 7:53Speaker 4: days a week now. Did one yesterday. So my partner
- 7:58Speaker 4: Andrew Chacone over there, know who runs the Red Stick
- 8:02Speaker 4: Health and Fitness over there.
- 8:03Speaker 2: And like that. Yeah, you related to Pablo Shakun.
- 8:08Speaker 1: That.
- 8:08Speaker 2: I'll ask him.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Sure, will the Millers, No big deal is it quote
- 8:14Speaker 4: where the millers at me?
- 8:15Speaker 5: All right, that's the that's the name he gives in
- 8:18Speaker 5: like the drug smuggling This that's his nickname.
- 8:21Speaker 4: I don't know if I've ever heard anyone quote that
- 8:23Speaker 4: movie except for No Regirds.
- 8:31Speaker 3: But are the you guys are getting paid part two people?
- 8:37Speaker 2: Yeah, we're we got the training going, We're working it.
- 8:40Speaker 3: You're about to a hybrid rockstar.
- 8:42Speaker 4: Every time I go work out, I'm like, man, this
- 8:44Speaker 4: is absolutely on voluntary. I'm doing this to myself, like
- 8:48Speaker 4: I'm about to a throw up every single time I workout.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Don't you feel amazing?
- 8:52Speaker 2: I do feel great. I feel great right now.
- 8:55Speaker 3: It's probably a little my high and you feel so good.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Oh my god, Yeah, it's incredible.
- 9:02Speaker 4: Started wearing I started wearing sleeveless shirts to work out.
- 9:06Speaker 2: I don't think I'm ever going back, stood, I mean,
- 9:09Speaker 2: my god shirt to work out. Save something for the rest.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Of us with Like, I'll agree with Taylor. I am sick.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Yes, yes, I'm not running disgusting.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Like the high rock stuff is like when I when
- 9:24Speaker 4: I did it, I was like, yeah, okay, like I
- 9:25Speaker 4: gotta I gotta lift weights, I gotta get stronger.
- 9:27Speaker 2: For this thing. Not really.
- 9:30Speaker 4: It's just a running competition with just stuff in the middle,
- 9:35Speaker 4: just like things to do in the middle of running basically,
- 9:39Speaker 4: And I don't run for distance.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Basically.
- 9:41Speaker 4: I never ran past one hundred and ten yards because
- 9:43Speaker 4: we'd do like one tens in the summer. That was
- 9:45Speaker 4: about as far as I go. You never needed to,
- 9:47Speaker 4: never needed to. It's about as far as my body
- 9:50Speaker 4: would go.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Those cankles, yeah, these cankles. Yeah.
- 9:54Speaker 4: I like to run fast. I like to do sprints
- 9:57Speaker 4: for a distance. I remember, like in when I was
- 9:59Speaker 4: in middle school, have to go like run a mile
- 10:01Speaker 4: or something. I came in last. Every time. You just
- 10:03Speaker 4: couldn't do it.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Yeah, same, All that matters is that you knocked it out.
- 10:11Speaker 2: You knocked it out, knocked it out.
- 10:13Speaker 3: I just still can't get over that. High Rocks is
- 10:15Speaker 3: hybrid vibra rockstar.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I think that's really cool. I like it.
- 10:20Speaker 5: Hybrid rock star. Who doesn't want to be a hybrid rockstar?
- 10:22Speaker 5: I don't know what that means.
- 10:23Speaker 2: But I don't know what it means either.
- 10:26Speaker 3: It means you can run and do other activities.
- 10:30Speaker 5: Rockstar, like imagine introducing yourself to someone hide, what's up Dragon?
- 10:35Speaker 4: Flynn, Dragon Rockstar, Hyber Rockstar completed it like finished.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Whatever their title is is not going to top that.
- 10:43Speaker 3: No, King of Hydration, King King.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Hydration, that is my self given title at my hi,
- 10:51Speaker 4: my CEO, King of Hydration, Dragon Flynn, Hybrid Rockstar.
- 10:57Speaker 2: They're gonna be like, oh, I'm gonna need a new
- 10:59Speaker 2: business card. You are, you can fit all that it does.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Maybe you kind of want to do an air guitar,
- 11:05Speaker 4: like after you finish it, when you're done. Oh, like
- 11:07Speaker 4: Hybrid rock Star makes me do.
- 11:09Speaker 5: When you're done, though, as you're crossing the finish line.
- 11:13Speaker 3: I do need a picture of you just hitting the
- 11:15Speaker 3: air guitar.
- 11:16Speaker 4: I like to slap the base a little bit more
- 11:18Speaker 4: than just I'm not an ax man slapping the base. Well,
- 11:25Speaker 4: there's a big game this weekend. Wee yes, some would
- 11:29Speaker 4: say it's super big.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Would they say it's the big game?
- 11:34Speaker 2: They play it in a stadium. It's like a bowl.
- 11:37Speaker 2: They take a stadium like a bowl.
- 11:41Speaker 4: Before to this weekend, they've done it fifty nine times
- 11:45Speaker 4: before this. They do it every year every single year
- 11:48Speaker 4: around this time before Valentine's Day. Usually they play this game.
- 11:54Speaker 4: It's called the Super Bowl and it says weekend. Seattle Seahawks,
- 12:05Speaker 4: New England Patriots, NFC, AFC. There's a little bit of
- 12:16Speaker 4: talk about for the super Bowl this week. They had
- 12:18Speaker 4: media day yesterday.
- 12:22Speaker 3: This super Bowl is not doing it for me. I have.
- 12:24Speaker 2: That's not like the super Bowl, they said.
- 12:27Speaker 4: So they had media day yesterday and I was trying
- 12:29Speaker 4: to listen to it a little bit yesterday.
- 12:31Speaker 2: They said zero things.
- 12:33Speaker 3: There's like, not really any storylines that interests me either.
- 12:36Speaker 2: They just because they're both likable teams.
- 12:40Speaker 5: Actually the other way, this is the worst case scenario
- 12:41Speaker 5: for me growing up. These were my two least favorite teams.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Really. Yeah, okay, so you did didn't like the Dynasty.
- 12:49Speaker 5: Patriots they won all the time. Never been a Robbert
- 12:51Speaker 5: Craft fan. Couldn't tell you why I didn't like Seattle.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Just didn't because Russell, Yeah, he's very unlikeable. Must be it,
- 13:00Speaker 5: Which is weird because growing up I love showing Alexander.
- 13:02Speaker 5: But I was never just never big on the Seahawks.
- 13:05Speaker 4: Well, I think we can all agree that Marshall Lynch
- 13:08Speaker 4: is very likable.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Yes, I'm just here.
- 13:14Speaker 4: But the run it it was against the Saints, so
- 13:16Speaker 4: that's true. Maybe you didn't like it because.
- 13:20Speaker 3: He's not really a Saints fan.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Oh that's true. I mean I'm way more Saints fan
- 13:24Speaker 2: than Sea. What they do to the Cowboys and they
- 13:28Speaker 2: don't play a ton like just.
- 13:31Speaker 4: What always shocks me is like when people if the
- 13:35Speaker 4: playing field is level. It always shocks me that people
- 13:37Speaker 4: don't like dynasties because there's so many people that don't
- 13:41Speaker 4: like the Chiefs, so many people that don't didn't like
- 13:44Speaker 4: the Patriots. If it's a level now, I get like
- 13:47Speaker 4: the Dodgers hate because that's it's not a level playing
- 13:49Speaker 4: field at that point. But like, if it's a level
- 13:52Speaker 4: playing field, I think greatness is really awesome to witness,
- 13:58Speaker 4: like dot like doing something that's really hard and making
- 14:01Speaker 4: it look easy. Like people didn't like, I mean not
- 14:05Speaker 4: a lot, but like I heard people don't like didn't
- 14:07Speaker 4: like Tiger Woods being so dominant forever, Scotti Scheffler being
- 14:10Speaker 4: and like, I think it's pretty awesome. Yeah, it's pretty
- 14:13Speaker 4: bad to watch somebody, especially it's a sport.
- 14:16Speaker 5: Even if it's a sport you don't watch, it's bigger, right,
- 14:19Speaker 5: Like it gives you a reason to tune in.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Rather, I'm not a big golfer play a ton of golf.
- 14:24Speaker 5: But I'll tell you what, if Tiger Woods has a
- 14:25Speaker 5: chance to win on Sunday, I'm tuning in.
- 14:27Speaker 2: No doubt, even if he's near in the top twenty. Yeah,
- 14:31Speaker 2: like if I'm checking it.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Out, I respected the people on the Dynasty are likable.
- 14:39Speaker 2: You know what I guess?
- 14:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess the Patriots had a little bit like
- 14:42Speaker 4: US versus the world mentality.
- 14:44Speaker 3: I ever really disliked the Patriots. I never was like, oh,
- 14:47Speaker 3: I love the Patriots, but I didn't have the same
- 14:49Speaker 3: hate for Tom Brady or the Patriots that everybody else did.
- 14:53Speaker 2: What's they're more likable than the Chiefs? What's not likable
- 14:56Speaker 2: about the Chiefs?
- 14:57Speaker 3: Travis Kelcey Homes b there. I don't like Kelsey, Patrick
- 15:01Speaker 3: Mahomes is like pretty unlikeable.
- 15:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't like my homes but I'm trying to
- 15:07Speaker 4: put my finger on So why wouldn't you like Travis
- 15:09Speaker 4: Kelsey or Mahomes from like like they haven't really done
- 15:14Speaker 4: anything bad.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Mahomes is a pretty stand up guy.
- 15:17Speaker 3: His brother is, his dad is a mess too, His.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Dad's a mess.
- 15:21Speaker 5: And wife is she I heard she got okay, So
- 15:26Speaker 5: that's that's a little iffy, right, because like I used
- 15:29Speaker 5: to think that too, but he's like his wife or whatever.
- 15:32Speaker 2: But like what she done, That's what I'm saying, Like,
- 15:35Speaker 2: what have the Chiefs done too?
- 15:38Speaker 3: Kickers? Stuff? That one time you're.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Talking about Justin Tucker just.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Maybe justified trying to Justin Tucker?
- 15:52Speaker 2: Was it? I'll tell you just Tucker was definitely in
- 15:54Speaker 2: the that situation. Okay, all right? Was it? They were
- 15:56Speaker 2: into the field, he was kicking one too. Yeah, it
- 16:00Speaker 2: was not getting out of the way. It's like the
- 16:01Speaker 2: whole team was there.
- 16:02Speaker 3: And then it was just can't we all agree that
- 16:05Speaker 3: Travis Kelsey just gives off bad vibes?
- 16:07Speaker 5: He does, he does. I'm not a Kelsey. I get it,
- 16:12Speaker 5: Like I you're not the only ones that think that.
- 16:15Speaker 5: I just I enjoy watching the Chiefs dominate because I
- 16:17Speaker 5: think it's really impressive and they have it like you
- 16:20Speaker 5: try to put your finger on it. You just are
- 16:22Speaker 5: just You're just gonna say, I just don't like him
- 16:24Speaker 5: cause I don't like him, right, they haven't really done anything.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Andy Reid's super likable.
- 16:28Speaker 3: I didn't really care about the Warriors either, because Steph
- 16:31Speaker 3: Curry was kind of likable.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Oh my god, the Warriors. Look, maybe it's a.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Big I'm big I think with the Spurs dynasty, Like
- 16:42Speaker 3: obviously that is the biggest thing in my life is
- 16:45Speaker 3: when the Spurs were running the NBA. But I didn't
- 16:48Speaker 3: care for the Warriors, Like it didn't bother me.
- 16:51Speaker 5: No, I hate every dinasty that ain't mine. Maybe it's
- 16:54Speaker 5: like a maybe it's just like being competitive or whatever.
- 16:57Speaker 5: If it's not my team and you're good, I hate you.
- 17:00Speaker 5: It doesn't matter that.
- 17:01Speaker 4: I think we're proving that point. It doesn't matter if
- 17:03Speaker 4: you're likable or not what you do. But I'm just
- 17:06Speaker 4: saying I think that it could be appreciated if people
- 17:08Speaker 4: are on a level playing field. People that dominate, especially
- 17:12Speaker 4: the people that do it. I mean, I guess you
- 17:13Speaker 4: could say, like the right way would be doing it,
- 17:16Speaker 4: not the wrong way. Don't be a prick about it.
- 17:18Speaker 4: I don't think the Chiefs for that. Of course we
- 17:22Speaker 4: hate Bama for their dynasty, but I think that people
- 17:25Speaker 4: did like that.
- 17:27Speaker 2: But you don't respect, no, not at all, respect Bamas.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Man sports is so fun.
- 17:36Speaker 5: Respected Saban hypo. I hate how much I love Nick Saban.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Now, I just he has well, look, he has done
- 17:47Speaker 4: a lot to improve his Louisiana relationship, certainly, I know, but.
- 17:54Speaker 2: It almost feels like he's going out in his way. Yeah,
- 17:57Speaker 2: just like you. But it's I remember when.
- 18:03Speaker 4: I can't remember when it was when he after this,
- 18:05Speaker 4: certainly after a three national championship. Like we as a players,
- 18:08Speaker 4: we saw one side of Nick Saban and one side
- 18:10Speaker 4: was all you're going to see and it was not
- 18:11Speaker 4: a beautiful side. It was very tough and rough and
- 18:16Speaker 4: coach you really hard. But we understood that he was
- 18:19Speaker 4: a great coach at the time.
- 18:21Speaker 2: But I remember that.
- 18:23Speaker 4: I can't remember if it was after three, but he
- 18:25Speaker 4: started getting more in the media's eye, of course, and
- 18:29Speaker 4: we saw him smile on camera one time, like on TV,
- 18:32Speaker 4: and we were like, that's what he looks like when
- 18:35Speaker 4: he smiles, Like did his pr person that they have
- 18:38Speaker 4: to like practice this in the mirror forever because it
- 18:40Speaker 4: looked like it just was creaking. His cheeks were just
- 18:43Speaker 4: like creaking and he hadn't done it so long. But
- 18:46Speaker 4: now he smiles all the time. Yeah, it's got a
- 18:48Speaker 4: new I feel like Pat McAfee's his bestie.
- 18:52Speaker 3: I love that. M h. It's a great.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Yeah. The dynamic of them on game day unlike good
- 18:59Speaker 2: unlikely to Yeah.
- 19:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I love it all right, Well, look we have
- 19:05Speaker 4: a we got a great show for you, the Tripod
- 19:07Speaker 4: riding again all week. Jake is in in San Francisco
- 19:12Speaker 4: at the super Bowl. He'll be live on his afternoon
- 19:15Speaker 4: show all week long. He's I think he's doing two
- 19:17Speaker 4: shows a day right now from media row there. But
- 19:20Speaker 4: we are hopeful that he can join in, probably going
- 19:24Speaker 4: to be the third hour because he is two hours behind.
- 19:26Speaker 4: It is five twenty am there in San Francisco, So
- 19:30Speaker 4: we're going to see if he can jump on for
- 19:31Speaker 4: a segment, two segments, what how however much he wants.
- 19:34Speaker 4: But I'm sure he's got a lot of tidbits, a
- 19:36Speaker 4: lot of information, a lot of cool things. I'm sure
- 19:39Speaker 4: some cool interviews. Wonder if he's interviewing SpongeBob again, that'd
- 19:42Speaker 4: be sweet. But we're trying to get him on our three.
- 19:45Speaker 4: We got a great show for you. We're just going
- 19:46Speaker 4: to talk super Bowl talk, LSU talk, whatever the heck
- 19:50Speaker 4: we want. We're gonna have a mail Bags segment in

- 21:37Speaker 2: Oh waits for you. Slide of hand and to stiffy.
- 21:49Speaker 2: I'm feeling this right now head of.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Me, looks me.
- 21:53Speaker 6: Ways.
- 21:56Speaker 2: It is ahead of their time.
- 21:59Speaker 3: They are so ahead of their.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Time, ahead of their time. They still making music.
- 22:09Speaker 3: I don't know. They were recently at the sphere, I think,
- 22:14Speaker 3: but I don't know if they did any new stuff.
- 22:16Speaker 4: They're the ones that invaded all of our privacy, yeah,
- 22:21Speaker 4: and downloaded their album onto everybody's phone without.
- 22:24Speaker 3: So as far as I know, that might be the
- 22:26Speaker 3: most recent word. I don't know though, the song nineteen
- 22:29Speaker 3: eighty seven.
- 22:30Speaker 4: If they got sued. Can't download on my phone, take
- 22:34Speaker 4: up my storage.
- 22:38Speaker 6: It's very limited, Yeah, very especially when by the smallest iPhone.
- 22:49Speaker 5: See calling Look guys, I only bought the eighth Yeah, okay,
- 22:53Speaker 5: one hundred bucks less? Yeah, I mean, come on, three less.
- 22:57Speaker 5: I think that was the original smallest.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Wasn't it only fit two ring tones on it? Yeah?
- 23:08Speaker 4: You don't see a lot of a lot of people
- 23:10Speaker 4: using music as a ring tone anymore. Back when you
- 23:13Speaker 4: had to like illegal, I guess it was illegally when
- 23:17Speaker 4: you had to do like the work around, when you
- 23:19Speaker 4: had to do the workaround to like download it onto,
- 23:21Speaker 4: like I guess it was before iPhone.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody was using music. I wish we could get
- 23:27Speaker 2: back to the music. Ring tones they were great, or
- 23:29Speaker 2: the ring back they were good. What's the ring deck?
- 23:32Speaker 3: Like you'd call somebody and there it wouldn't be like
- 23:35Speaker 3: a tone, it'd be a song plane.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Okay, I didn't know that had a name.
- 23:43Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure his ring back like that.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I think we should bring back musical ring tones.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Okay, let's do it.
- 23:52Speaker 4: I don't even remember the last time I heard somebody
- 23:55Speaker 4: with a musical ring tone.
- 23:56Speaker 2: I never heard an old guy like classic you can.
- 24:02Speaker 3: Work hereman, Yeah, he has ring tones like songs.
- 24:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Do you remember any song that you used to have
- 24:12Speaker 2: as a ring tone?
- 24:13Speaker 1: Me?
- 24:13Speaker 3: No, I don't remember. Oh, so do you remember when well,
- 24:20Speaker 3: I don't know what they were called. Like young money
- 24:23Speaker 3: was a thing, so like Lil Wayne Drake, Nicki Minaj,
- 24:27Speaker 3: like it was like a whole group, right, he had
- 24:28Speaker 3: a song called Roger that I used to be my
- 24:31Speaker 3: ring tone.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Roger that Okay, I had a like I had a
- 24:37Speaker 2: Nickelback song on there one time.
- 24:38Speaker 4: It wasn't like Let's go, it was no matter which one.
- 24:46Speaker 4: People people people live in Paris perked up.
- 24:52Speaker 5: I don't know, I don't I don't know if I
- 24:53Speaker 5: don't know if Nickelbacks is popular in the LP as
- 24:56Speaker 5: I make it out to be.
- 24:58Speaker 2: And I love it.
- 25:02Speaker 4: I mean I love it. I think it was rock Star,
- 25:06Speaker 4: So can we bring it back? Is everybody down for that?
- 25:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll make one my ringtone right now.
- 25:11Speaker 2: By the end of the week, we'll have a new ringtone.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:14Speaker 5: Rock Star was my uh MySpace profile song for a
- 25:18Speaker 5: good minute.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Oh my god, what was my Space profiles? You have
- 25:23Speaker 2: the the profile song that you could make your own background. Yeah,
- 25:26Speaker 2: and it was like play a video and you felt
- 25:29Speaker 2: like a coder. Mm hm you were like, I'm an
- 25:33Speaker 2: Internet hacker.
- 25:35Speaker 4: That's yeah. Who was what was the what was the
- 25:40Speaker 4: name of the band that was the alter Was it
- 25:46Speaker 4: alter Bridge? Chris Chris Cornell saying it was after.
- 25:54Speaker 6: I'm blanking on it, not Audio Slave, sound Garden, no
- 26:01Speaker 6: Audio Yeah, ok, yeah, something else and yeah.
- 26:05Speaker 4: I said alter Bridge. It was not alter Bridge Audio
- 26:07Speaker 4: slav original one. Yeah, I had an audio slave song.
- 26:11Speaker 4: That's my MySpace video.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Londer.
- 26:14Speaker 3: You're too young, No, I had my Space. I was
- 26:16Speaker 3: too young to have a MySpace, but I don't.
- 26:20Speaker 2: It was pretty friends with Tom. Yeah you had to.
- 26:23Speaker 2: You had to be friends with Tom. What would that
- 26:24Speaker 2: guy's doing them? We should look it up.
- 26:26Speaker 3: I don't remember what my song was though, it's probably
- 26:28Speaker 3: some emo.
- 26:29Speaker 2: So sure we got three hours, we can wake up
- 26:33Speaker 2: with Tom's.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Tom like sold my space is like traveling the world
- 26:36Speaker 3: being a photographer or.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Something like that. Well, there's a lot of fun little
- 26:43Speaker 2: prop bets this week.
- 26:44Speaker 3: The octopus one.
- 26:46Speaker 2: The octopus one we learned about a football.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Octopus was the gatorade one.
- 26:49Speaker 4: Yeah, So what I what I'd like to do today
- 26:52Speaker 4: is I found this Like it's like a little kind
- 26:55Speaker 4: of a super Bowl party kind of a prop sheet.
- 26:58Speaker 4: It gives you a list of twenty one twenty two questions.
- 27:02Speaker 4: So throughout the show, I want to go and go
- 27:04Speaker 4: through this with y'all and ask a couple of questions,
- 27:07Speaker 4: you know, throughout the show, and we're gonna fill out
- 27:10Speaker 4: our own and see and when we come back next week,
- 27:12Speaker 4: we're gonna see who gets the OTB turnover chain based
- 27:17Speaker 4: on these prop Betsy.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Alrighty, so there is.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Let's see how many there's twenty three and when there's
- 27:26Speaker 4: gonna be a tiebreaker total points score tiebreaker. So I'm
- 27:29Speaker 4: gonna ask you the first three or four right now?
- 27:31Speaker 4: All right, we're gonna go around the room. Okay, and
- 27:33Speaker 4: so again I'm but check this out right, keeping track
- 27:38Speaker 4: so it's official.
- 27:39Speaker 2: See this, man, I'll tell you what you you can't
- 27:44Speaker 2: count on that? What can you count on? Nothing?
- 27:46Speaker 4: Little pen and paper, old school baby?
- 27:50Speaker 2: All right?
- 27:50Speaker 4: Question number one, length of the National anthem? Okay, we
- 27:53Speaker 4: talked yesterday Charlie Puth. Puth, you could say this fan,
- 27:58Speaker 4: you probably really chucky that one up a bit over
- 28:02Speaker 4: under one hundred and twenty and a half seconds to
- 28:06Speaker 4: sing the national anthem, So a little over two minutes, yeah,
- 28:10Speaker 4: so I was looking at it. So I think in
- 28:12Speaker 4: the eighties Neil Diamond did one in like sixty eight
- 28:15Speaker 4: seconds or something like that. Alicia Keys, I think took
- 28:18Speaker 4: like nearly three and a half or four minutes. Yes,
- 28:21Speaker 4: she was, she was hitting some runs. I'll go under
- 28:25Speaker 4: you're gonna go under one hundred and twenty, and I.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Was I was gonna go over.
- 28:29Speaker 5: But look, I tell you our girl, Cassie told me
- 28:31Speaker 5: she is adamant Charlie Poot's gonna go under. So I'll
- 28:33Speaker 5: take your advice. Cassie will go under. Is she Charlie
- 28:37Speaker 5: Puth fan? No, she was saying on Friday. No, No,
- 28:41Speaker 5: he's gonna go under him. Its like him, So I said, okay, yeah,
- 28:45Speaker 5: I've never heard of him, but I can see Cassie
- 28:47Speaker 5: is like in Charlie Pie.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Yeah, going off of what you said about Alicia Keys,
- 28:52Speaker 3: I'm gonna go with the under because she feels kind
- 28:56Speaker 3: of dramatic, and I don't think Charlie is going to
- 28:59Speaker 3: do all that.
- 29:00Speaker 5: You don't think I'm gonna I'm gonna take the coward's
- 29:03Speaker 5: way out, and if I lose, I'm just gonna blame.
- 29:05Speaker 4: But if you're like a guy like Charlie Pieth, not
- 29:11Speaker 4: a lot of people have heard of you.
- 29:12Speaker 2: I don't think he's popular. I've never heard of him.
- 29:16Speaker 4: So I'm I'm a person too, So there's got to
- 29:19Speaker 4: be people like me out there.
- 29:20Speaker 2: I matter.
- 29:20Speaker 4: This is a I matter, This is an opportunity for
- 29:24Speaker 4: him to show the world.
- 29:26Speaker 2: His vocal range.
- 29:28Speaker 4: So I think he's gonna I think he's going to
- 29:30Speaker 4: take this opportunity where all eyes on him, because let's
- 29:34Speaker 4: say I did I think last year viewership averaged one
- 29:38Speaker 4: hundred and twenty seven point seven million people average of
- 29:41Speaker 4: watching the Super Bowl, so nearly one hundred and thirty
- 29:45Speaker 4: million people gonna be watching him. I think he's gonna
- 29:47Speaker 4: soak it in this chance. This is his opportunity to shine.
- 29:49Speaker 2: It's first time I'm ever performing. According to Matt.
- 29:51Speaker 4: Ever, this is the first time singing. He won a
- 29:53Speaker 4: he won a competition and he gets to sing, so
- 29:56Speaker 4: he's gonna go over one hundred percent. All right, Next question,
- 30:03Speaker 4: I don't want any pop up ads screen.
- 30:05Speaker 2: All right. Results of the coin toss heads are tails? Tails?
- 30:10Speaker 3: Heads?
- 30:10Speaker 4: Okay, I'm going tails because obviously it never fails. Team
- 30:16Speaker 4: to win the coin toss Seahawks or Patriots.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Who's Who's home Seahawks? I don't know. Actually, good question.
- 30:23Speaker 5: The home team should be the Seahawks and they were
- 30:25Speaker 5: the one seed. Patriots get to call it. I'll say
- 30:27Speaker 5: Patriots win, So launder your Seahawks tailor. Man, I hate
- 30:32Speaker 5: to side with Taylor on both the coin toss props.
- 30:36Speaker 5: But I feel like I just like the team that
- 30:38Speaker 5: normally calls it wins. It just kind of seems some way.
- 30:43Speaker 3: I'm just saying, whatever pops first.
- 30:45Speaker 4: Well, then another thing like the heads or tails when
- 30:47Speaker 4: you got the coin. So a lot of times they'll
- 30:50Speaker 4: use something that's not a heads and a tails.
- 30:53Speaker 2: They'll use like team they represents this.
- 30:57Speaker 4: This is the Super Bowl logo. Okay, fair enough, they
- 31:00Speaker 4: probably do that for Vegas. I'm gonna go with the
- 31:03Speaker 4: Patriots on this one just because of America. Uh all right,
- 31:06Speaker 4: last one for this segment. Will any player be shown
- 31:09Speaker 4: crying during the national anthem? And we actually you have
- 31:13Speaker 4: to have a tier on this one. Yes, a visible tier.
- 31:16Speaker 5: And I'll go further. I say, Mike Verbel crush during
- 31:19Speaker 5: the national anthem. He actually does seem like a tough
- 31:22Speaker 5: Criyer is like tough guy, but went through a log
- 31:25Speaker 5: I let go about Tennessee. He's back in the big
- 31:28Speaker 5: for the Patriots.
- 31:29Speaker 2: I think was hated during that dynasty that everybody hated.
- 31:33Speaker 4: There's always a player, Okay, so does the My question
- 31:36Speaker 4: on this is if you are Vegas and you are
- 31:39Speaker 4: the one saying yep, this hits or not. Does it
- 31:42Speaker 4: have to be a moving tier, like a tier that
- 31:45Speaker 4: you see streaking or can it play like a clear tier? Well,
- 31:51Speaker 4: like like you've seen that clear like you've had you
- 31:54Speaker 4: have to see water.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Okay, so it's got to at least bubble in a.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Corner like at least tier up. But I think one
- 32:01Speaker 3: of them is gonna sob maybe our guy, yeah, well Campbell.
- 32:08Speaker 4: But what if like they are crying but they hide
- 32:11Speaker 4: the tier. I want to know, like if you're making that.
- 32:14Speaker 3: Separative definition of crying, yes.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Now you've got to make the it's a judgment call
- 32:19Speaker 2: at that point.
- 32:21Speaker 3: I mean I feel like if you cry and you
- 32:22Speaker 3: wipe the tear away, you're still crying.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Oh for sure.
- 32:25Speaker 4: Yeah, but at that point you have water from your
- 32:28Speaker 4: eye moving and you move you moved it with your hand.
- 32:31Speaker 4: Yeah all right, Okay, So we got that's the first four.
- 32:37Speaker 4: But throughout the show, we're gonna do this. We're gonna
- 32:38Speaker 4: fill out twenty three questions and this is gonna be
- 32:40Speaker 4: a little competition. So I would encourage you. They have
- 32:42Speaker 4: these things on life. You're throwing a little super Bowl party.
- 32:46Speaker 4: It's a little fun, little prop game. To play have
- 32:48Speaker 4: a little winner at the end. Don't just do the squares.
- 32:51Speaker 4: Do the squares, but also do a little prop activity.
- 32:54Speaker 4: All right, a lot to get to on this show.
- 32:58Speaker 4: We'll actually break down the football portion for the Super
- 33:01Speaker 4: Bowl break down the LSU boats as well.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Stick with us right here, off the.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Bench, Off the bench, all right.
- 33:10Speaker 4: First American Bank and Trust. Well, if you're looking for
- 33:15Speaker 4: a bank, if you're looking for a local bank that
- 33:18Speaker 4: is here ready to help you, then that is First
- 33:22Speaker 4: American Bank and Trust. Don't settle with a national brand.
- 33:25Speaker 4: If you're looking for somebody that is been working here
- 33:28Speaker 4: in Louisiana for more than one hundred years, help Louisiana
- 33:30Speaker 4: families buy homes, build businesses, plan for the future, well
- 33:34Speaker 4: then you're looking looking at for the First American Bank
- 33:37Speaker 4: and Trust. There's something to be said for being able
- 33:40Speaker 4: to walk into a branch and they know your name
- 33:41Speaker 4: and you get straight answers, working with people actually care
- 33:44Speaker 4: about your success.
- 33:45Speaker 2: And that's exactly what you're going to find there.
- 33:46Speaker 4: So, if you're starting a new bank account for yourself,
- 33:49Speaker 4: if you're looking to change banks, maybe get another bank account.
- 33:52Speaker 4: Maybe you have a child you want to start saving

- 36:12Speaker 4: Brady yesterday on his He's got a podcast called Let's Go,
- 36:19Speaker 4: and I think it's uh speaking of dynasties, it's got
- 36:25Speaker 4: the Patriots Patriot fans a little upset. He quoted yesterday
- 36:31Speaker 4: when he was asked about who do you want to
- 36:33Speaker 4: see when? What's your prediction for the game, he said, quote,
- 36:38Speaker 4: I don't really have a dog in this fight.
- 36:40Speaker 2: I just hope it's a good game. So I wanted
- 36:43Speaker 2: to ask y'all, as Patriot haters and dynasty haters, because
- 36:47Speaker 2: you want everything to be equal in sports.
- 36:48Speaker 3: I don't think that's what I said, just kidding. I
- 36:54Speaker 3: think it was just the Chiefs that I have it
- 36:55Speaker 3: out for for some time.
- 36:57Speaker 4: Well, how do we feel about this? So tom Brady
- 37:00Speaker 4: coming out and saying I don't have a dog in
- 37:03Speaker 4: this fight, I would beg to differ myself. I would say,
- 37:07Speaker 4: you do have a dog in this fight, and that
- 37:09Speaker 4: dog is the Patriots.
- 37:11Speaker 2: How do you feel about this?
- 37:12Speaker 3: I feel like it's very tom Brady.
- 37:15Speaker 4: You know, is this like the Raider executive talk coming
- 37:19Speaker 4: out or the TV broadcaster talk.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Coming out Tom Brady, It's kind of very pr like
- 37:26Speaker 3: I don't really have a dog in this fight. Yes
- 37:28Speaker 3: you do. You played for the Patriots, you created the
- 37:31Speaker 3: dynasty over there.
- 37:32Speaker 4: You actually have a very large statue with a small head,
- 37:37Speaker 4: right a statue.
- 37:38Speaker 3: I can understand Patriots fans being upset by that, but
- 37:44Speaker 3: it'd be like you have no dog in the LSU
- 37:48Speaker 3: versus whoever.
- 37:50Speaker 4: LSU's playing National Championship and Joe Burrow coming out and saying.
- 37:53Speaker 2: I don't really have a dog in this fight? Yeah
- 37:57Speaker 2: you do?
- 37:57Speaker 3: You do that?
- 37:58Speaker 2: You do?
- 38:00Speaker 3: So I know, at a get it sounds like Tom
- 38:02Speaker 3: Brady is somebody that doesn't have loyalty to anybody.
- 38:05Speaker 1: But.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Tom's a company guys.
- 38:09Speaker 5: So Tom Brady's not calling the super Bowl this year
- 38:11Speaker 5: because it's on NBC, but network rotation.
- 38:14Speaker 2: He did it last year.
- 38:15Speaker 5: Whenever Fox gets the super Bowl in his contract, tom
- 38:19Speaker 5: Brady calls it for Fox. So maybe it's something like
- 38:22Speaker 5: that where he's like, I called last year's super Bowl.
- 38:24Speaker 2: I don't I don't want to show what he buysself.
- 38:26Speaker 5: Maybe maybe maybe it's that type of thing, like he's
- 38:28Speaker 5: not doing it this year, but he does get it.
- 38:31Speaker 2: He is a team guy.
- 38:32Speaker 4: He shown that, like like they were born with, like
- 38:35Speaker 4: the Patriots forever under Belichick, where team first. Don't say
- 38:38Speaker 4: anything to the media, don't give him nothing, don't show
- 38:41Speaker 4: your personality, I don't do anything.
- 38:43Speaker 2: So that's his training. But he came out of that
- 38:45Speaker 2: shell when he went to Tampa Bay. You saw that
- 38:49Speaker 2: he was. He's still a nerd, but like he's kind
- 38:51Speaker 2: of a cool nerd.
- 38:52Speaker 3: Like he likes to party, like that time one super
- 38:55Speaker 3: wasted after.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Yeah, throwing the trophy from boat to boat.
- 39:00Speaker 5: When he's walking out of the event, some one's like
- 39:01Speaker 5: holding his arm.
- 39:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Yeah, he probably is such a life weight because he
- 39:06Speaker 3: takes care of him so much that he had like
- 39:08Speaker 3: two beers.
- 39:08Speaker 4: Ay know, we were sitting next to them at the
- 39:10Speaker 4: Kentucky Derby one year the Patriots or they just won
- 39:13Speaker 4: a Super Bowl. I can't remember what what year, what
- 39:16Speaker 4: they were getting after a pretty good I mean.
- 39:19Speaker 5: I could see I mean, we know, Gronks, I could
- 39:21Speaker 5: see Edelman getting after it.
- 39:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:24Speaker 5: No, I mean this isn't super surprising. If Tom Brady again,
- 39:27Speaker 5: I think he's trying to tow the company line. Not
- 39:30Speaker 5: that he needs to. He's Tom Brady. He can pretty
- 39:32Speaker 5: much do it. He can do whatever he wants. But
- 39:34Speaker 5: that's just who Tom Brady is. He's not a controverty.
- 39:37Speaker 5: You know, he'll never say anything controversial in the media
- 39:40Speaker 5: or anything like that.
- 39:41Speaker 2: So I mean it's it's not that surprising.
- 39:43Speaker 5: Would I be mad if I was a Patriots fan, Yeah, sure,
- 39:46Speaker 5: But I want Patriots fans to remember that, Uh, not
- 39:49Speaker 5: only did that guy bring you six super Bowls, but
- 39:50Speaker 5: he brought you six super Bowls because when other quarterbacks
- 39:53Speaker 5: were taking record number of contract dollars, tom Brady consistently
- 39:57Speaker 5: took less money to have more talent him. So yeah,
- 40:02Speaker 5: I just forget that. My opinion is is tom Brady
- 40:05Speaker 5: does what he wants right. He's part owner minority owner
- 40:09Speaker 5: of the Raiders. He sits in there press box with
- 40:15Speaker 5: their coaches during a game. He's not supposed to do
- 40:18Speaker 5: any of that. Yeah, but he's a broadcaster. But no
- 40:20Speaker 5: one cares, like the people ask players were asked. Recently,
- 40:23Speaker 5: there was an article written about like, hey, do you
- 40:25Speaker 5: care that Tom Brady has an ownership stake and a team,
- 40:30Speaker 5: but yet he's interviewing the day before the game because
- 40:32Speaker 5: he's broadcasting it, And they're like, no, I don't Care's
- 40:35Speaker 5: Tom Brady and he can do what he wants. He's
- 40:37Speaker 5: known to be the goat for a reason, so would
- 40:39Speaker 5: that come special privileges? He has the right.
- 40:42Speaker 4: To be a fan of the Patriots because of what
- 40:46Speaker 4: they did. I didn't like the kind of the nonchalant
- 40:50Speaker 4: response about I don't have a dog in the fight,
- 40:51Speaker 4: because yeah, yeah, you do. Maybe if you were there
- 40:54Speaker 4: for a handful of years and won one Super Bowl, maybe,
- 40:57Speaker 4: and then you were somewhere else for a long time.
- 40:59Speaker 4: But no, you were there for twenty years, won a
- 41:01Speaker 4: bunch of rings, So you know, I don't know. That's
- 41:03Speaker 4: like one of the things that I one of the
- 41:05Speaker 4: few things that Tom Brady has done that I did.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Not like, support your team, be loyal again. I feel
- 41:11Speaker 2: like you've you asked.
- 41:14Speaker 4: Imagine Lsu playing and asking Jacob Ester and he said,
- 41:18Speaker 4: I don't have a dog in this fight.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Yeah you do, Tom Brady.
- 41:23Speaker 4: You played there, you created the dynasty, and you're the
- 41:26Speaker 4: greatest of all time.
- 41:27Speaker 5: The Patriots are playing the Buccaneers, right, I mean, this
- 41:31Speaker 5: is exactly.
- 41:32Speaker 2: It's very hard. You got a dog in this fight.
- 41:34Speaker 2: So just speak up and do.
- 41:36Speaker 4: You can do whatever you want, very pr I don't
- 41:39Speaker 4: think anybody's gonna be like, you can't say that, you
- 41:41Speaker 4: can't say that you're on TV, right, I can't say
- 41:44Speaker 4: that you're a minority owner of the Raiders to not
- 41:46Speaker 4: be controversial. He was controversial. Controversial, So Tom Brady, get
- 41:50Speaker 4: a fixed man. God supports your team. You do have
- 41:55Speaker 4: a dog in the fight. It's Patriots cheer, mom. You
- 41:58Speaker 4: have a statue there with the Patriots. All right, we'll
- 42:01Speaker 4: be back. I had a really funny question yesterday that
- 42:06Speaker 4: was asked to Mike Rabel, head coach of the Patriots,
- 42:09Speaker 4: and lets you know what that is. When we get
- 42:10Speaker 4: back right here, off the bench.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Off the bench.
- 42:15Speaker 2: All.
- 42:16Speaker 4: Are you looking for a exciting night out. Maybe you're
- 42:19Speaker 4: coming to town, maybe you're from out of town. You're
- 42:22Speaker 4: coming in for getting ready for some LSU baseball series,
- 42:25Speaker 4: maybe you're coming in for a basketball game, gymnastics me,
- 42:28Speaker 4: whatever it.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Is, and you're looking for a great place to stay.
- 42:30Speaker 4: Well, Baton Rouge, you have got yourself an upgrade that
- 42:33Speaker 4: is Ballys of Baton Rouge. We all know that the
- 42:36Speaker 4: old Atrium down here near the near the convention Center.
- 42:40Speaker 4: It was kind of dormant for a long time, the
- 42:43Speaker 4: old hotel that was there, it didn't really want to
- 42:45Speaker 4: stay there. But now you talk about a complete upgrade,
- 42:48Speaker 4: complete renovation, tear down to the studs, rebuild it, and gosh,
- 42:52Speaker 4: it is beautiful, twenty five thousand square feet gaming facility,
- 42:56Speaker 4: Vegas type gaming facility.
- 42:58Speaker 2: You have a huge draft.
- 42:59Speaker 4: King Sport spoke to get all your sports bets in,
- 43:01Speaker 4: your prop bets in with the most gigantic TV. You
- 43:05Speaker 4: got five restaurants there, a beautiful first class hotel of
- 43:08Speaker 4: views of the river, downtown, Tiger Stadium. They got everything.
- 43:11Speaker 4: Go check it out. You're looking for a night out
- 43:13Speaker 4: or an evening out or weekend Bally's a Beton Rouge.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Locked in on LSU Football twenty four to seven. You're
- 43:29Speaker 1: listening to Off the Bench.
- 43:41Speaker 4: All right, welcome back here off the bench, closing out
- 43:44Speaker 4: our number one talking everything super Bowl. Saw they had
- 43:53Speaker 4: media day yesterday and the Super Bowl is like this.
- 43:57Speaker 4: When we were there, it was like a really cool
- 44:00Speaker 4: like combination of people. So you have all these media
- 44:04Speaker 4: from all over the world, people that have never covered
- 44:06Speaker 4: football before, people from all different countries, speaking different languages.
- 44:10Speaker 4: They come and they get the opportunity to speak and
- 44:13Speaker 4: ask questions, and a lot of them are really basic
- 44:15Speaker 4: questions because they're just not football people and they're the
- 44:18Speaker 4: people that they're talking to or writing articles for doing it.
- 44:20Speaker 4: Broadcasts for all over the world aren't don't necessarily know
- 44:23Speaker 4: the game, they don't really know what questions asked. They're
- 44:26Speaker 4: kind of like me when when asking questions sometimes you
- 44:28Speaker 4: got to figure it out and you're asking some really
- 44:30Speaker 4: basic questions. But he got asked yesterday which came across
- 44:34Speaker 4: to people that follow football every single day, and he
- 44:37Speaker 4: got asked yesterday during media day and when he was
- 44:41Speaker 4: at the stage, quote, is this a must win game
- 44:45Speaker 4: for the Patriots?
- 44:48Speaker 2: Question Mark.
- 44:51Speaker 4: Well, Mike Vaibel, being the consummate professional that he is,
- 44:55Speaker 4: he just paused a moment, looked at it, and he
- 44:58Speaker 4: was like, yes, I've viewed every game in the playoffs
- 45:02Speaker 4: as a must win game. So how would you have
- 45:06Speaker 4: handled this question? If you're playing the super Bowl? Is
- 45:08Speaker 4: this a must win game for your team? Taylor?
- 45:13Speaker 2: I would have said, are you kidding me?
- 45:16Speaker 5: Man? Look where we're at, you know, like, it's San
- 45:19Speaker 5: fran We're playing the Seahawks.
- 45:20Speaker 2: Yes, this is a must win. We work all year
- 45:22Speaker 2: for it. Are you an idiot? And Andre? Is this
- 45:25Speaker 2: a must win game for you? The super Bowl?
- 45:27Speaker 3: I would say it's a must win.
- 45:29Speaker 4: Yes, it's Actually he handled it really well, so you know,
- 45:32Speaker 4: you think about it. It's the guys, guys from all
- 45:34Speaker 4: over the country, so all over the world. So it's like,
- 45:36Speaker 4: you know what, we'll give you a pass on that one.
- 45:38Speaker 4: But yes, it's the super Bowl. So yep, definitely a
- 45:41Speaker 4: must win. We're gonna wrap up our number one here.
- 45:45Speaker 4: We got a big show. Love, We've got two more hours,
- 45:47Speaker 4: so stick with us right here, off the bench, Off
- 45:50Speaker 4: the bench, all right, I want to tell you about
- 45:54Speaker 4: our friends over at Maruci Maroucci bat Company. You want
- 46:00Speaker 4: to train like the pros, you want to dress like
- 46:02Speaker 4: the pros. You want to get outfitted like the pro
- 46:04Speaker 4: I can tell you so. So Huckey's started Baseball Priorities,
- 46:08Speaker 4: he's ten. They've started Baseball prities a couple of weeks ago.
- 46:12Speaker 4: We're all there. If your parents, if you got kids
- 46:14Speaker 4: that are playing where there's baseball, softball, whatever it is,
- 46:16Speaker 4: you know that. Well, they grow fast and every single
- 46:20Speaker 4: year it's like, all right, I need new batting gloves,
- 46:22Speaker 4: need new bat need new cleats, need new fielding glove,
- 46:26Speaker 4: need new everything, just like everything with kids. So if
- 46:29Speaker 4: you're looking to completely outfit, get some new stuff, make
- 46:32Speaker 4: sure you're going over to the Marucci's Hitter House. If

- 46:36Speaker 4: rips in, make sure you get get that membership package
- 46:39Speaker 4: that's going and you can go take cuts twenty four seven.
- 46:43Speaker 4: Then right over there signing lane, and you also do
- 46:44Speaker 4: a tour of the facility, see where all the major
- 46:46Speaker 4: league bats are made. Major League Baseball is official bat
- 46:50Speaker 4: Marucci
