- 0:13Now let's get to this week's show.
- 0:16Quick Editor's note here. This episode was recorded the
- 0:19day before they revealed the new Mythics Wave, which is coming on
- 0:24the 31st of May. We'll certainly talk about that
- 0:27in next week's episode and in the episode the week after where
- 0:31we talk about all the figures that they revealed.
- 0:33Cheers. My wallet is sobbing.
- 0:43I can hear it. I can hear it in the hall now.
- 0:45It is breaking down crying. It turns out that Attila the
- 0:55arrogant so and so he's got a fake hammer.
- 0:57Oh, A. Fake Whoa.
- 1:00As I say, Dick the. Egyptian pantheon was made-up of
- 1:11gods and goddesses who possessed incredible powers and used those
- 1:15powers for good or I'll depending on whether they were
- 1:18appeased or angered by the offerings made to them.
- 1:21Two of the most recognizable deities of Egypt and the
- 1:24subjects of the latest Figure Obscura release from 4 Horsemen
- 1:27Studios are the Jackal headed God of the embalmers known as
- 1:31Anubis and the cat headed fertility goddess named Bastet.
- 1:36So we were just a week out with our Figure Obscura prediction
- 1:40boys, but we got it in the ballpark.
- 1:43We certainly didn't guess this figure, though.
- 1:47Well, you're. Doing yourself down there
- 1:48because after we finished last week, you said, I forgot to say,
- 1:52I think that figure obscures. Driving.
- 1:54I did. Yeah, I did, yeah.
- 1:56And I could have. Maybe.
- 1:57I could have maybe edited it in. But no, it wasn't worth it just
- 2:03on the off chance. Although I was kicking myself,
- 2:05but who cares? We don't need to be right.
- 2:06As we said, we just need to make the guesses.
- 2:09And having seen these releases, I was very happy.
- 2:11All our guesses are wrong because these are just amazing.
- 2:14So I've been off all the rest of the guesses.
- 2:18Yeah, well, we kind of went for pop culture characters, but of
- 2:20course we forgot that there is, of course mythological and all
- 2:24that kind of stuff. So which is also some of our
- 2:28wheelhouses. Isn't that right, Rich?
- 2:29This. Yeah. 100% is in my wheelhouse.
- 2:33All I do feel the need to point out now if I ever become some
- 2:35sort of Egyptian deity through some sort of weird freak spider
- 2:38biting accident, but when I turn up allegiance con, if I'm going
- 2:43to get offerings, pizza and Donuts, if it's not pizza and
- 2:46papers, I'm going to be the evil Egyptian God.
- 2:49Just so we're absolutely clear on that everywhere.
- 2:52Seems fair enough. Yeah, just carbs.
- 2:54In other words, carbs. Yeah.
- 2:57Anyway, it will. Be Jelly.
- 3:00That's wrong with the American fans.
- 3:04Anyway, Mal, how are you? You happy with the Figure
- 3:07Obscure release weekend? I am.
- 3:09It's very cool. I I suspect, like a lot of us,
- 3:14you were. Yeah.
- 3:15Especially after. Well, this month.
- 3:18It's not crying. It's gone out of the back of
- 3:20Rackham's to sell itself. It's made its peace with its
- 3:25poverty, and it's trying to find a new way to make more money.
- 3:29My wallet, not me. It's him, everybody.
- 3:33It's. You if you could, but when were
- 3:36my by more legit means if possible, you know.
- 3:39Hey, if I had the body for it, I'd totally be on Only Fans I.
- 3:44But you have. Here I mean.
- 3:45You have a thing with Figura where you like to have one in
- 3:49box and one to open, so this is one of those occasions when that
- 3:53really is a tough task. Yeah.
- 3:56Yeah, it was. It was.
- 3:59Did it make it over the line? It did.
- 4:03I can't help myself. Yeah, I know all in as well.
- 4:07They've got me addicted to pin badges like they have.
- 4:09Huge. Yeah, they are great.
- 4:12I mean I also appreciate now that it's not, it's not a gone
- 4:17in 60 seconds thing with the all in anymore.
- 4:21They seem to have plenty of them and even in the second drop a
- 4:26couple hours after when we like usually because the second drop
- 4:30is in the middle of Saturday night for us.
- 4:32So we always try and get it on the first drop because that's
- 4:35the early evening for us here on Saturday, which is perfect.
- 4:38And it's yes. So you would never, unless you
- 4:42missed the all in, you wouldn't stay up for the second drop
- 4:45really. And then getting up the next
- 4:47morning, it was still I think the all in was still there,
- 4:49which. It was, yeah.
- 4:51Yeah, which was pretty sweet and yeah, when we talk about it, but
- 4:55the very nice stuff there in the all in and rich as a as a
- 4:59student of ancient history, it's got to be ticking the boxes for
- 5:05you. We've already got.
- 5:06So, so excited. I've talked before previously on
- 5:09the show, but I've got a sort of Egyptian styled action anyway my
- 5:13mythos, so to have this appear as well, it's just perfect for
- 5:18me. So they're going to slide into
- 5:20the Egyptian fact. They will, yes.
- 5:23I mean, I might because I've got, I've bought three sets, so
- 5:27I might possibly have a set with my figure Obscura and then use
- 5:31the rest in them in the mythics. We'll see how that goes.
- 5:36Right. Yeah, Yeah.
- 5:38No, that's that sounds good. That sounds good.
- 5:40Well, I've got a couple of painted heads already.
- 5:43One of them will now be going on the Anubis body.
- 5:47OK, so it's like it's, it's a it's a helmet type of thing.
- 5:51So it is. Yeah, it's kind of.
- 5:53It's so back, so crocodile, ah. Yes.
- 5:57No, Scrap that plan. Or why I?
- 6:00Had it. Well, I had it painted to look
- 6:02like an actual crocodile. I can make that work.
- 6:04I'll figure out. Yeah, I think so.
- 6:06Bit of, maybe a bit of a wash over the top.
- 6:10Or I'll just make it look good and say it's amazing because I
- 6:14don't paint. True, true, true that can work
- 6:19and new Mal is this is going on the figure obscure or chef then
- 6:23is it? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:25Well, that's getting full, but I need to look after the shelves.
- 6:30Well, I've got a plan to buy a separate case to go on top of
- 6:35the the detail that I'll put the two horsemen in and then
- 6:41there'll be more, a lot more room.
- 6:43So yeah. Excellent.
- 6:46So now we've got we've got our figure obscure as we taught
- 6:49around now and they're going to be shipping out and the rest of
- 6:53the outpost Axis is going to be shipping out early June.
- 6:57And we're thinking, didn't we say Ishkhan is going to be some
- 7:00sort of a pre-order, like a reveal?
- 7:02Pre Yeah, there'll be a call, a cosmic reveal.
- 7:04Ishkhan. So.
- 7:06Well, we don't know for sure. It's cosmic, but I think we.
- 7:09Yeah, put a. Strong.
- 7:10Excuse me? I'm 100% confident it's going to
- 7:13be a cosmic. So if we're if we're looking at
- 7:16that. On time stamp site in case it
- 7:18turns out not to be. I'm 100% confident what you're
- 7:22talking about. It's absolutely going to be.
- 7:23This is this is very early in the episode so good to find it.
- 7:26No problem. So that kind of if you work back
- 7:31from Ishkhan, which is like 3rd, 4th, 3rd of August, something
- 7:35that weekend, if you, if they're going to do another pre-order
- 7:39between now and then, they're probably going to give four
- 7:42weeks at least of a pre-order. So if you work back four weeks
- 7:46from then you're into end of June and then there's probably
- 7:51going to be a gap. So probably sometime in June I'd
- 7:55expect another drop if there's going to be another pre-order.
- 7:58Yeah, I'm not. Maybe a mini wave of some sort.
- 8:01I. Think it would have to be a mini
- 8:02wave, wouldn't it? There's so much stuff come out
- 8:04recently. I know they keep telling us it's
- 8:05a big year. It's a big year, but yeah, but
- 8:07lots. We haven't, I know we had the
- 8:10the blind boxes thing, but for me that was an in stock sale,
- 8:14you know, even if. This is true.
- 8:15You could and it didn't cost me a place of.
- 8:17Pre-order true. Yeah, me neither, although I did
- 8:20some trades for I got a couple of good trades locally recently,
- 8:25uh, got a shadow out for Mal and I got another Clavius for me,
- 8:29uh, because you can never have enough of that figure.
- 8:31And so that was nice. And but that is an in stock.
- 8:36So we're, we're missing if, if we even go with the normal, uh,
- 8:41head of steam of stuff, we're going to be missing it like the,
- 8:43the equivalent of the All Stars preorder, which makes me feel
- 8:47like we're going to get something between now and then
- 8:50because the preorder in August brings us into, you know,
- 8:55September and then they're hardly going to do another one
- 8:59before Legionscon. No, I think takes trouble to
- 9:03connect to put a put that's normally.
- 9:06Another slot for a figure. Obscure, isn't it?
- 9:08Yeah, Yeah. That's it.
- 9:09Yeah, yeah. So I could see that or something
- 9:12like the, you know, the rumored dragon or something to come
- 9:16around. I think you might be right with
- 9:17that one. John Yeah.
- 9:18So so that could be exciting times for us in the near future
- 9:24and but the wallets not so much. But with pre-orders again,
- 9:28that's a little bit easier. Yeah, things figure obscure is
- 9:33is a little bit more. You got to put your cards on the
- 9:36table, which I saw Jeremy did a he did a video on the four
- 9:43Horsemen official channel this week with where it was an
- 9:48unboxing of these figures. So the the two figures basically
- 9:54because some of them were quite, quite well packed in the plastic
- 9:57and he didn't want people breaking them when they were
- 9:59opening them. And lots of lovely comments and
- 10:04then one guy comment and go, why are you posting this?
- 10:06It's not on sale anymore. I'm going to have to pay 300.
- 10:10Quid. I mean, in fairness to that
- 10:12person, he only had 24 hours. And a bit more maybe.
- 10:19Yeah. I think, you know, sorry for
- 10:22you. Like if you're really worried
- 10:23about eBay, you need to be on the ball.
- 10:24Like, you know? Don't even have to be that on
- 10:27the ball. And also Jeremy's videos for
- 10:29everyone that's getting them shipped now, you know, it's
- 10:31about unboxing them. So there's lots of people.
- 10:35So but as you know, people will always have their agendas.
- 10:37But I just that can be a giggle, you know, that can be a giggle.
- 10:41Maybe tells you where I get my cakes and right.
- 10:48So any other crack boys before we crack into this?
- 10:52How was there any other deliveries this week?
- 10:55I got my alge figure from Aliexpress.
- 10:58That was exciting. It's great.
- 11:00I'm very impressed. I also got a like a Mezco King
- 11:04Kong for father, a really old one, I think from like 2019 or
- 11:09something. It's awful, but it's great for
- 11:12fodder. But it's awful if hands are
- 11:15falling off. Feet are, but it'll do.
- 11:20Yeah, God, I think really cheap. I think it might be easy for me
- 11:23to say what I haven't had come in this week.
- 11:26My wife described it as the the avalanche waiting to happen and
- 11:30boxes in a hall at the moment I had Two more arrived today and
- 11:34I've been so busy since I got home I've not even a chance to
- 11:36open them, so I don't know what they are.
- 11:37I think one's a GI Joe classified, but it's, no, it's
- 11:40just madness at the moment. Absolutely.
- 11:42Madness started off with a Savage Crucible on the four
- 11:45boxes, and then it's just continued from there.
- 11:48I hadn't had up any more Savage Crucible just.
- 11:50Not a chance, it's just been so busy it's just ridiculous now.
- 11:55I got some stuff from Aliexpress too so I got AT800 neca
- 12:00Terminator. I want to try and rip that apart
- 12:02and use it for some cosmic stuff hopefully.
- 12:05I got a it's a crat Kratos from. Got a warrior?
- 12:10It's it's the figure that's got the really cool gauntlets, like
- 12:14big fists. And I've seen other people use
- 12:17that. That's that's a really good
- 12:18deal. And again, like cheap, as cheap
- 12:20as chips off them off Aliexpress.
- 12:24I got myself another one of the NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja
- 12:27Turtles times Universal Monsters.
- 12:30I got Mikey as a mummy, which is quite appropriate now with the
- 12:35figure. Obscure release?
- 12:36Yeah, that works. And I got I got a neck another
- 12:42Necker one. It was alien versus Predator and
- 12:46it was one of those Wilani troopers.
- 12:49So it's just like this like, you know, thick Arctic sort of
- 12:54uniform that I think could could potentially work for a cosmic of
- 12:58some sort of a rip it apart. So.
- 13:01Sweet a new mild. Did you get to open your naked
- 13:04turtles Mexico? Turtle I did.
- 13:07They are awesome. Yeah, they are the the.
- 13:10Worth the stress? Oh yeah, yeah, they are the, for
- 13:14me, the best turtle figures that you know exist to.
- 13:18Be honest. Brilliant.
- 13:19So cool and really well, possible and all that kind of
- 13:24stuff. Yeah, yeah, really good, really
- 13:26good. It came with a little leaflet
- 13:28warning you about the joints and just heating it up a bit.
- 13:30So I just, you know, sat there and blasted them with the heat
- 13:33gun before I did anything with them.
- 13:35But they were, they were fine. They were.
- 13:37And not loose either. But yeah, really cool, really
- 13:41fun. Did you?
- 13:42Change. Did you double in the cartoon
- 13:44ones as well or did you resist? No, no, no, they.
- 13:47I thought they looked quite fun. It just shows what FOMO does to
- 13:51people though, doesn't it? Because all I saw was people
- 13:53slagging them off and then they're sold out within.
- 13:57Yeah, there's plenty of people that are like, yeah, these
- 14:00little sell on eBay and there's plenty that yeah, it's just
- 14:03FOMO. But also there's plenty that
- 14:06maybe like want them and they're not cool to, you know, when they
- 14:10see people moan about them, they're just going to say when
- 14:12I'm buying them anyway because I like them.
- 14:14So yeah. So Mali, you hoping that they do
- 14:17more characters or they don't do more characters for the wallet's
- 14:20sake? What?
- 14:22No, I I actually hope they do more because this will be, that
- 14:24will become my turtle line sort of thing.
- 14:27They'd already announced Casey Jones, Who, You know, I try.
- 14:31Oh, I missed that. OK, yeah, yeah, he looks like
- 14:35he'll be pretty cool. And he's one.
- 14:37Of my friends. Cole Schrader, come on.
- 14:41No, no, no. I mean, yeah, I suppose he would
- 14:44look really cool, but I I don't know, I'm not so fussed by the
- 14:47bad guys. It's the good guys alike, OK?
- 14:49Or the mutants. In April or the mutants, I say I
- 14:52wouldn't be that fussed by an April a splinter.
- 14:54Splinter would be cool. Splinter would be cool.
- 14:57Who can some of the. Other have to battle somebody.
- 14:59I mean they can't battle the. They could battle the figure
- 15:02obscurers maybe? No, this is true.
- 15:04I suppose you need some foot soldiers.
- 15:06They'll probably do like a little foot soldier.
- 15:08Then you need Treader. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:12I mean, I think we'd look amazing as a Mexico.
- 15:14Mexico style shredder would be fantastic.
- 15:17I'm sure, Yeah, sure would. Right, well, let's get on to
- 15:25Anubis and Busted. We can talk about what they what
- 15:33they came with all the stuff. I suppose the First things first
- 15:39is we got the all in, which was uh.
- 15:45If I go down here and show as awesome pictures there, but the
- 15:49all in came with these awesome pins and the mug proper mug
- 15:54again, Mel. I was very happy to see that.
- 15:56I have to say uh. While I like the art on the
- 16:00other mugs, I don't find them as useful as these mugs.
- 16:04These are like tea specials, not to sound sad, but and the pins
- 16:10are fantastic. Yeah.
- 16:12So the all in was was a 25 more than it was 120 and 1:45 that
- 16:21seems to get. Right.
- 16:22Yeah. Yeah, yeah, it was 145 for the
- 16:24all in. Yeah.
- 16:26And then I paid 30 shipping. I think you did too.
- 16:29So that was the price of that. You can get also these shirts
- 16:34separately from retro rags. Not really a goer for us on this
- 16:38side of the pond because you got to pay shipping to retro rags
- 16:43for that and it's, yeah, expensive.
- 16:45You'd. Be looking for allegiance can't
- 16:46pick up when you for that source.
- 16:48Yeah, it's not their fault, but that's just the way it is.
- 16:51You know, to ship a shirt is going to be the price of a
- 16:55shirt. You know, 10 shirts probably
- 16:57still the price of a shirt. But yeah, if you just want one,
- 17:01not really a gore. So that was that.
- 17:03And so that's what I do. And if I'm going to buy it, I
- 17:07did take a look at these because I probably, we originally taught
- 17:11them it was going to be a mummy of some sort.
- 17:14And I probably wouldn't have bought that, let's be honest.
- 17:17I got me mythic skeletons and I probably wouldn't have bought
- 17:24just a mummy so. This Eric and Jeremy I would so
- 17:30please do make them. I will buy locks I mean.
- 17:33Unlocks I would have done, but I was happy to.
- 17:37Probably happier to see these two.
- 17:41I think that I just had spent a lot of money recently so I was
- 17:45looking for an excuse not to get them, if you know what I mean.
- 17:47Yeah, yeah, for sure. So the Mummy would have been an
- 17:50easy pass for me and the tell tell, tell our listeners Rich
- 18:00about the message that you got from from Jeremy.
- 18:05I think you can say say that that was.
- 18:07Yeah, he message. We don't get tip offs from
- 18:10Jeremy. We don't get but but sometimes
- 18:13you get a little funny message and this was a good one.
- 18:18He messaged me saying is your wallet sobbing yet?
- 18:20Or pre sobbing perhaps? Oh my God.
- 18:27And I responded with, Oh yes, yes, it really is because he
- 18:30knows I, I bought some custom Egyptian stuff from Jeremy a few
- 18:33years ago. So he, he knows how much I love
- 18:35this sort of stuff. So yeah.
- 18:36Yeah, and he is, he's he's been known to listen to our show as
- 18:40well. So yeah, yeah, he's pretty sure
- 18:45that he's got you there with that.
- 18:47And right. So here are the figures and
- 18:51we've got a One Point O Mail book which is the Anubis and we
- 18:57got a 2.0 female which is the best.
- 19:00There a bunch of new parts we're going to talk about then, but
- 19:05firstly just as figures themselves.
- 19:08Lots of new parts, lots of new sculpts and pretty cool.
- 19:12Fantastic soft goods again. Yeah, these, these are just so
- 19:16good. What's your favorite between the
- 19:19two Rich. Definitely Anubis because he's
- 19:241.0. Simple as that, yeah.
- 19:28Simple as that. A new man.
- 19:34I think it is. I do really like Bastet, but I
- 19:37think it's Anubis and in no small part because of these new,
- 19:43as we know, going to be used in the noble bear characters, kind
- 19:50of more muscular limbs. And so, you know, and they're
- 19:56sculpt on them. It's fantastic.
- 19:58Yeah, it's a clean sweep for one point O here, then Anubis, but I
- 20:04really like Bassett as well. It's the kind of situation for
- 20:07me that I, I managed to avoid the FOMO all weekend of of not
- 20:12ordering more. It was like, you know, as I said
- 20:16to the boys at some stage, I have so many figures for parts
- 20:20and you can see them behind me if you're watching the video
- 20:22version of this. And often they don't get used.
- 20:26So ambition is always stronger than reality for me.
- 20:30So I thought if I do end up wanting these parts, I can
- 20:34probably get them down the line. Definitely think the timeline
- 20:40meet them is probably long enough to wait for any potential
- 20:43retailer wave of this. For example, you get the parts
- 20:46again or they get used on mythics figures I mean.
- 20:50So this is a one point O with what we say kind of wolf or
- 20:56feline feet, which is a new thing.
- 20:59They definitely can be going to be utilized at some stage in
- 21:03mythic legions. And we got the bare lower arms
- 21:07and legs, which we definitely will see at some stage in
- 21:15Barbarians in Legion. Smile, huh?
- 21:17Yeah. Yeah, yeah, no doubt.
- 21:20Oh, similar characters at least, you know.
- 21:23Yeah, no Barbarians, just a wind, Rich.
- 21:28Of it's basically an Egyptian. Barbarian, how do I cancel my
- 21:34order? How do I cancel my order?
- 21:37And it's the same with the female book as well here, it's
- 21:41the same stuff. And what I found amazing here
- 21:44was that especially on the Anubis, the torso is like a
- 21:48whole brand new torso, it seems. It's not like the torso plate
- 21:52thing. It's the front and back whole
- 21:53new torso. So they've really gone all out
- 21:56with the tooling here. Probably will get must get
- 21:59reused somewhere with that. But you see it on the back here.
- 22:03And they've also both got tails. That tail is That's not the
- 22:09Monkey King tail, is it? No, completely new.
- 22:12So it's the same type of system as Monkey King, I would say.
- 22:18And then obviously completely new in the female because we
- 22:20don't have that type of tail on a female bucket all.
- 22:23From watching the door Claire review, there's an additional
- 22:27joint there as well, just at the gold plug bit.
- 22:31It rotates there as well, so that's cool.
- 22:35That's pretty cool. And we see here all the
- 22:42accessories that we get, this little blue kind of piece down
- 22:47here on the bottom, the kind of semicircular.
- 22:51There's a name for that Rich. I don't know if you know it,
- 22:53that little semicircular blue thing there below, just above
- 22:57the kind of. Do you know?
- 23:00I don't know the case actually. OK.
- 23:02Anyway that that's tricky to take out of the package.
- 23:04So be careful with that because there's a little handle on the
- 23:08back of it and if you push the handle and you might, you might
- 23:11break it. So this kind of feline, this
- 23:15green feline near the paint on that is incredible.
- 23:19It's amazing, isn't it? Yeah.
- 23:21It looks exactly like if you walked into a museum and saw it.
- 23:25Yeah, that sort of aged feel and everything.
- 23:27Just brilliant. And there's a ton of heads here.
- 23:314 different heads. I believe the heads are because
- 23:34of the different neck pieces. I think the heads are the same,
- 23:39but they have a different way of attaching to the head depending
- 23:44on the on the neck armor that you use.
- 23:49So I guess we'll get more into that when we get the figures
- 23:53themselves. A little basket here, which is
- 23:55sweet. These little what do you, what
- 23:58are they called again? That up in the top right there,
- 24:00Rich Canopic, Charles Canopic Charles, there you go.
- 24:04And and what is this thing that looks like a guitar but
- 24:07obviously is not a guitar? I mean, I haven't clue.
- 24:10Kind of what's called it does. She's renowned for carry in all
- 24:15the images and that sort of thing.
- 24:16OK, I can't remember. It's called bone me two seconds.
- 24:21Yeah, no problem. We can keep going there.
- 24:24Then obviously the headdress thing, the other parts we get on
- 24:29to what comes with the new in the Anubis box.
- 24:32So these are two, it's a 2 pack, but there's two separate boxes.
- 24:36So which gives potential for maybe these being sold at
- 24:39separately at some point either at shows maybe or although they
- 24:43did get sold at this shop, the curiosity at the weekend, which
- 24:46was cool. People were able to get them,
- 24:47not the all in, so, but you get your hands on the figure already
- 24:53that Saturday shortly after they went live the first time, which
- 24:57was awesome for those people that went to that show.
- 25:01Which is why we got to see some people actually had them unboxed
- 25:04very soon after the drop, which was using to some people that
- 25:07weren't paying attention. That confused the hell out of
- 25:09me. I was paying attention and it's
- 25:10still confused the hell out of me.
- 25:12I think Blaze Bear had them and I was just like, what the hell?
- 25:15How the hell has he got that I don't want?
- 25:19Yeah. And obviously Bill from
- 25:21Torclair, he's part of the kind of figure A-Team at this stage
- 25:24and that he gets the advanced copy for review and he was at
- 25:27that show as well. So he was picking up his
- 25:29multiples from. There.
- 25:32So the musical instrument for Bastet is called a systrum.
- 25:38Ah OK. A form of rattle used used most
- 25:43notably by the ancient Egyptians.
- 25:46OK, Well, if I, if I manage the time, I'll try and get a little
- 25:50bit of what do you call it against systrum.
- 25:52Systrum SISTRUM. There you go.
- 25:56I might try and get a little bit of sister music over over us
- 25:58here as we speak and. In that case, they need to
- 26:01release a Mongol warrior at some point, so we got a Mongol throat
- 26:03singing on the On podcast. To be fair, I mean if you ever
- 26:06wanted blast into a bit of mongol throat singing, I think
- 26:09nobody will complain except the listeners.
- 26:13No warning. Just like it's just like, what
- 26:17the hell? I did look when you mentioned it
- 26:22all those podcasts ago, because Rich has talked about Mongol
- 26:26short singing before in the podcast, unbelievably.
- 26:28And I did actually look it up on YouTube and it's incredible.
- 26:33It's amazing. It's not something that you play
- 26:38multiple times in your car, but you look it up on YouTube and
- 26:41you go, OK, this is amazing. And there's also like a
- 26:45modernized version of it. There's some like rock groups
- 26:48like Mongol or Mongolian rock groups that that have it as well
- 26:52sort of thing. So they'll be doing their like
- 26:54heavy metal singing and then all of a sudden they'll do like
- 26:57Mongolian throat singing come in sort of thing.
- 26:59It's it's more impressive. That's impressive.
- 27:02That is impressive. So the the accessories then that
- 27:05come with Anubis as you get this massive big tomb thing here with
- 27:11the with the dog on top of it. This I saw online at Tutankhamun
- 27:17exhibition in Paris and this thing is almost exactly what was
- 27:22sitting at the front. Yeah, they said they based it on
- 27:25that was found in his tomb, so yeah.
- 27:27There you go. So so that's spot on there and a
- 27:31bunch of heads as well. Different canine heads, open
- 27:34mouthed 1, some closed ones, the headdress as well, and a load of
- 27:41different tans they come from. I think they're already two
- 27:46hands that we're aware of but painted in this skin tone.
- 27:52There's also there What are these things here to the kind of
- 27:55left of the heads? There again, they're display
- 27:59pieces from the museums. Displayed, yeah, OK, yeah.
- 28:04So I mean again, bunches accessories, you see the value
- 28:07there, you know? Absolutely.
- 28:10And then I wanted to talk a little bit about, uh, some
- 28:13interesting new parts that we got firstly here, uh, these are
- 28:17the two point O parts. So we get bare feet, but bare
- 28:21feet without the, uh, the little armor piece around them.
- 28:26So that as far as I'm aware, that's new and obviously
- 28:32interesting potential for the use of them and the wolfy slash
- 28:37cat feet, uh, they're awesome as well.
- 28:41That leaves potential to different type of characters and
- 28:45obviously different type of customs for people where they
- 28:48can get and great now that when we get the extra feet, we get an
- 28:52extra foot peg. Yes, probably not cost at the
- 28:57factory, but so much money saved in like hand cream and whatever
- 29:03else. The other lotion to soothe your
- 29:05fingers and hair dryer electricity for boiling kettles
- 29:09and hair dryers to get those pegs out.
- 29:11The only thing I've used worse language on than any feet from
- 29:14mythic legions trying to get apart the the 2.0 legs.
- 29:20Razor sharp as well, but the feet are a close second so I'm
- 29:25very very happy that these come with the ankles inserted.
- 29:29Yeah, there's multiple amounts of cash that would have gone
- 29:31into the swear jar. Oh, otherwise, yeah.
- 29:36I sleep out down from my head to these these new feet that the
- 29:38sort of dog cat feet. I'm certainly thinking
- 29:42werewolves, yes, because they would work great for whales.
- 29:46Eric said he werewolves are mythos.
- 29:48He wants to do werewolves. Yeah, these feet would work.
- 29:50So yeah. But let me excited know that.
- 29:55Yeah, so we're, we're definitely talking werewolves.
- 29:58We're talking Little Red Riding Good and the big wide Bad Wolf
- 30:01as well. Maybe we're talking, yeah, there
- 30:04was an American Werewolf in London, this kind of stuff,
- 30:07maybe for Figura. Lots of potential there.
- 30:12Bare male feet again, same, you know, copy paste again, the same
- 30:18sort of comment, you know, barefoot barbarian, you know,
- 30:23really kind of caveman barbarian.
- 30:26Look, without any armor and you got the bare lower legs to go
- 30:30with these. So, you know, win, win, ma.
- 30:34Yeah, although it's the dog feet all the way on this, isn't it?
- 30:39He's going all out, Jackal man. That's.
- 30:42One thing with the bag, even feet, though, then the
- 30:45Barbarians will have an excuse why they can't fight, you know?
- 30:47Oh, I dropped something on my toe.
- 30:49I hurt my toe. I couldn't.
- 30:50That's why I lost the battle. No, you're just a wuss.
- 30:53Be gone, Barbarians. Be gone.
- 30:57Oh man, he has to get digging. So we've got three bears.
- 31:00I get the bare lower arms. I think we've mentioned these
- 31:03already. Also those upper arms seem to be
- 31:06tooled with this little bracelet around them, which is a very
- 31:09interesting, uh, that obviously we maybe missed to talk about
- 31:13that with Manisha Cinderhorn because it seems like she comes
- 31:17with it. So umm, yeah.
- 31:20I wonder if it's glued on or if it really is tooled separately
- 31:25and that's the the male uh. Yeah, I think Bill's Bill a door
- 31:31class, certainly his review, I think he said that it was, you
- 31:34know, attached, yeah, like firmly attached.
- 31:37So yeah, whereas the lower one comes off.
- 31:40Yeah, and the male has the same piece, you know.
- 31:43So yeah, some great new parts, probably some of the parts that
- 31:48we've maybe missed, but that's what stood out to me.
- 31:51Obviously the belt pieces and stuff like that that come with
- 31:53the figure, it's a given. Forgetting your Egyptian looks.
- 31:58And then Bill was saying again that they're really soft plastic
- 32:01as well. So it's also very, they're quite
- 32:04big, the loincloths and the bell pieces.
- 32:06So they're really flexible. So you can get actually get some
- 32:08really good poses with them. Oh nice, although the more
- 32:11flexible they are, the harder there to paint so.
- 32:14Yes, yes, painters is a bit of a pain but.
- 32:17But that's OK. I think when they appear first
- 32:20in these expensive enough figure obscura, it's only the certain
- 32:26few that'll be brave enough to use them for customs.
- 32:30You know, it's either people that can make a custom and sell
- 32:34it for a lot or people that have a lot of money.
- 32:38One or the other, Yeah. I'm I'm really excited to see
- 32:41what people do at Legions come with these.
- 32:43Yeah. And also what the 3D print
- 32:46community? Does people?
- 32:47Yeah. I mean, there's a lot of aging
- 32:48stuff out there already, but who knows what other stuffs are now
- 32:51going to appear. And also the pop and swaps,
- 32:56which is I think the, you know, probably the most common and
- 33:00sometimes the coolest customs. So there's going to be a bunch
- 33:03of them popping up as we go along, people using that those
- 33:07parts of their all is it's an exciting time.
- 33:10So it is. John, could you do me a favor?
- 33:12Could you go back to the picture that showed the accessories?
- 33:16Yeah, absolutely I can we. Start off with a new bit.
- 33:19Not that I've got some crib notes here to talk people
- 33:21through. There you go.
- 33:23But the little thing in the bottom left corner there, so
- 33:27like a cross, but with a loop at the top.
- 33:30For those that don't know, that's called an ank or a key of
- 33:33life. It's an ancient Egyptian
- 33:36hieroglyphic symbol used to represent the word for life and
- 33:39by extension as a symbol of life itself.
- 33:43And that's very cool to have that in this set.
- 33:46That's very cool, yeah. The the blue sceptre there
- 33:50sceptors in Egypt we use as symbols of power and domination
- 33:53and we're associated associated with the ancient Egyptian
- 33:56deities such as Set or Anubis. So again, good link there as
- 34:01well as a Pharaohs Pharaohs obviously famous for having them
- 34:05and then the canopic jars if you go back.
- 34:08Sorry John to. To Berstet, Yeah.
- 34:11Oh no. No, no, no, Anubis.
- 34:12Stan Anubis. Ignore me, Stan Anubis.
- 34:13Anubis has one as well. Yeah, he does.
- 34:15So if you are you able to zoom in on the Anubis one, no.
- 34:18Sorry. No, that's fine.
- 34:20So the Anubis one's got like a dog head on it basically.
- 34:24And then if we go to the Bastet set, there is a baboon, a human
- 34:31and a hawk on the three there, which I just thought was cool
- 34:35stuff. But then having looked at looked
- 34:37at it a bit more allowed me to enlighten you both.
- 34:41So Canopic jars are containers that were used by the ancient
- 34:43Egyptians during the mummification process to store
- 34:46and preserve the viscera of their owner in the afterlife.
- 34:51At the time of mummification, the lungs, liver, stomach and
- 34:54intestines were removed from the corpse to present them from
- 34:56eating prevent them from eating away at the rest of the body.
- 35:00Each organ was salted in natural, not quite sure with
- 35:03eyes and placed individually into one of the four canopic
- 35:06jars. There was no jar for the heart.
- 35:09Interestingly, the Egyptians believed it to be the seat of
- 35:12the soul and so it was left inside the body.
- 35:15This is where Eric's work gets really interesting.
- 35:19Each of Horace's four sons were responsible for protecting a
- 35:22particular organ. So happy or happy, the baboon
- 35:27headed God representing the north was protected by the
- 35:30goddess Nephi. Nephitis or Nephis, I can't
- 35:34pronounce that, and was assigned to the lungs.
- 35:37So your lungs always went in the baboon jar.
- 35:40So check your jars people. Yep, do a matef, the Jackal
- 35:44headed God representing the East was assigned to the stomach.
- 35:50Imcetti, the human headed God was assigned to the liver.
- 35:56Oh no, I've just seen the spelling for this last one.
- 35:59And Quebe Cenoef, or a version of that, The Falcon headed God
- 36:07was assigned to the intestines. So not only has Eric done the
- 36:12Canopic jars, which is really cool, he's actually got the four
- 36:14different heads that were associated with them in ancient
- 36:18times. It's such a good little detail
- 36:20sort of thing. It's just like, yeah, no, that
- 36:22only if we got that. Is one for the nerds I love.
- 36:24Yeah, yeah, absolutely. You know, if you want, if you
- 36:27got a sarcophagus or something in your display, you know, you
- 36:30shove the canopic jars next to it and then you, it looks
- 36:33genuinely like they've just, you know, Yeah.
- 36:35And you get a. Little bit of people, you know,
- 36:38oh, there is people like, oh these really cool and say yeah,
- 36:40that is the intestines. What?
- 36:42I've got, yeah, I've got to say that when I saw them in the set,
- 36:45they I was like, oh, wow, they're really cool.
- 36:48I mean, I one thing I do remember, because I used to as a
- 36:53kid, I, I used to know so much stuff.
- 36:55I've read so much stuff about Egypt and ancient Egypt and all
- 36:59that. The, the hilarious thing being
- 37:01is I've forgotten most of it. But I do remember that they were
- 37:04for the organs. Wow.
- 37:08Yeah, and here in the Bris, the museum here in Bristol have got
- 37:12a really good Egyptian section, like a really good one.
- 37:15I mean, they've got some canopy jars in there and, you know, a
- 37:17sarcophagus and all this sort of stuff.
- 37:19So it was really cool to see those in miniature form.
- 37:23I love that that's the kind of detail that I've never have
- 37:26known without this podcast. So I'm very happy to to learn
- 37:31that Rich. There you go.
- 37:33Absolutely. I'm happy to inform people and
- 37:35look out for John playing a system at Legions Con as well.
- 37:38Everybody, now that we've figured out what it is, is the
- 37:40musical member of the podcast. He will be there playing.
- 37:43Yeah. So that's it.
- 37:44So I'm just going to dump out all the other luggage, all the
- 37:47recording gear, anything and bringing on the custom heads and
- 37:50I'm just going to stick in one of these things.
- 37:52Yeah, yeah, sounds good and right.
- 37:56Shall we then get on to a little bit of Egyptian God family tree?
- 38:05We're going to educate the masses, or at least riches.
- 38:10Let me give a bit of background for everybody first.
- 38:12Yeah, yeah, absolutely. So they've.
- 38:14Seen. They're rich.
- 38:15The ancient Egyptian religion there was about 1500 deities
- 38:21that we know about. So that's a lot of deities.
- 38:25They, they had one for pretty much everything.
- 38:29The Pharaohs acted as intermediaries.
- 38:31Intermediaries, I can't speak tonight, between their people
- 38:34and the gods. And we're obligated to stay in
- 38:36the gods through rituals and offerings so that they could
- 38:39maintain Matt, which is the order of the cosmos, and repel
- 38:43Isfet, which was chaos to basically treat the gods.
- 38:47Well, you repel chaos. The details of religious belief
- 38:51changed over time as the importance of particular gods
- 38:54arose and declined and the intricate relationship shifted
- 38:58at various times. Certain gods became pre eminent
- 39:00over the others including the sun God RA, the creator God Amun
- 39:05of the goddess Isis, and those any Stargate fans out there will
- 39:10obviously know that RA was the pre eminent system Lord in
- 39:15Stargate. Yeah, of which you were very
- 39:19deep in at the moment. I've just finished the 10 series
- 39:23and I've watched the first of the TV movies that finished it
- 39:26off. So wow.
- 39:28And that's about two months. I have absolutely plowed through
- 39:30it. I had a brilliant Facebook
- 39:33conversation with Len LaGuardia at the weekend where somebody
- 39:38posted up going, oh, Egyptians, maybe that's Stargate.
- 39:41And I put a comment up saying like, you know, that'd be
- 39:43incredible, absolutely amazing. And Len was like, oh, you're my
- 39:47favorite podcaster. There we go.
- 39:48You're a Stargate fan as well. And I was like, I'm literally
- 39:52watching series 10 episode 15 or something now.
- 39:55And then he sent me a picture of him watching Stargate in his
- 39:58house. So I had to send him picture of
- 40:00me watching in my house. And it's just like, yeah.
- 40:04Yeah, we're going full circle. Here, Yeah, we are Stargate
- 40:07fans. Right, so tell us about this
- 40:10then. Yeah.
- 40:12So this is the, this is the Egyptian family tree, as it
- 40:17were, of of God. I'm not saying this is exactly
- 40:21correct because there are a lot of these out there and some
- 40:25people, you know, scholars may have it slightly set
- 40:26differently. But yeah, this is the this is
- 40:29the the tree. So it starts off with nun or
- 40:33nun, the founder God. And then if we go down a little
- 40:39bit, John, I don't know the Apep, the snake.
- 40:41I've not heard of that one. Then we have RAR, who's probably
- 40:44the most famous of the gods, renowned as the father of of an
- 40:48awful lot of them. And you have Atom, Namun and
- 40:54Mutt. And that's the sort of not the
- 40:59Adam and Eve because that's not the right comparison.
- 41:01But it's almost like that because Celine and Hillion
- 41:04almost look like the creators sort of thing.
- 41:07Oh yeah, gods. And then down from then you have
- 41:10all the the other kids as well. So you've got a wide range here.
- 41:15You've got on the far left, you've got Hathor again,
- 41:18Stargate devotees. Well, no Hathor.
- 41:22She was a very cool villain. In Stargate we have Sekhmet,
- 41:25which is a lion God. We have Bastet looking more like
- 41:31a lion in this picture. And interestingly, Bastet
- 41:33started off as lion goddess and then at some point changed into
- 41:37a cat goddess. And I was doing a bit of reading
- 41:40on this and they they reckon that this was maybe in line with
- 41:44the domestication of cats. So with the domestication of
- 41:48them, then it made sense for her to actually be a cat rather than
- 41:51like cat rather than or they have, although they have found
- 41:55they so they have her cults, as it were, was particularly
- 42:03important in a city called Bubastis and also in Memphis,
- 42:07which was the ancient capital of Egypt in the late and Potomac
- 42:14for Ptolemaic periods, which I should know because I did study
- 42:16at that university. So that's when the Greeks
- 42:18basically ruled over Egypt, the Ptolemaic periods.
- 42:22There were large cemeteries of mummified cats all over the
- 42:25place. And I was watching a Netflix
- 42:28documentary, I believe it was not so long ago.
- 42:31They were digging at one of these, one of the biggest cat
- 42:33cemeteries in Egypt, and they found a lion.
- 42:37Mummified lion. Like a only a cub, not a full
- 42:40size lion. But still, it was the first time
- 42:42they'd found any anything like that.
- 42:44And it was mummified. Mummified.
- 42:46Yeah. So the mummified cats down there
- 42:48and then, yeah, there's a mummified lion cub, which they
- 42:53were extremely excited about, having found one of those
- 42:56before. Just like, whoa, whoa, yeah.
- 43:03So there's Bastet there. The rest of these I don't really
- 43:09know particularly well. We've got Mart Shu.
- 43:12I apologise for any Egyptians if they're listening to this and
- 43:17Konsu and Konsu the. First, sorry, the first four of
- 43:22them come from RA it looks like, and then the other ones come
- 43:27from. Yeah, I think they're from RA
- 43:31and Aten, who's an emoji bell looks a bit.
- 43:37It's the sun. Yeah, Yeah.
- 43:39With lots of arms, I suppose they're with the rays, I guess
- 43:43how they interpreted the rays. And then and then for the other
- 43:46ones. And I apologize again here, but
- 43:47it looks like Raw Atom and Amun may have had a threesome to
- 43:51produce Hugh and Tefnut. Yeah.
- 43:56So yeah, all sorts of jiggery pokery going on there.
- 43:58Oh. So it's a carrying.
- 43:59Then what is it? Konsu and Konsu, and he's from
- 44:07Ammon and Mutt. Yeah, it's a bit of a side, bit
- 44:13of side action there for them. Is that the same konsu as in is
- 44:17it konsu that's in moon night? It is moon night.
- 44:20Yeah, absolutely. It looks different, but yes,
- 44:22it's the same God. Wow, this is all full circle
- 44:27stuff. And Konsu in Moon Night, I mean,
- 44:29Moon Night's a brilliant series, but Konsu is such a good
- 44:31character in it. Yeah, he's really cool.
- 44:36Right. What about this next row of
- 44:38characters here? So we're on to tar Kadesh
- 44:44Rochette, my favorite tarat, which is the lovely hippo lady.
- 44:52Yeah. It's going to say hippo.
- 44:53Give us a hippo. And she escorts.
- 44:57Well, certainly from Moonlight. I presuming that was based on
- 45:00the the ancient tales as well. She escorts the dead across the
- 45:06the desert to the The Good Place.
- 45:10Let's. See, and she hangs out with
- 45:14bears from Happy Mondays. She does he's he's even dancing
- 45:18like bears from Happy birthdays. Look.
- 45:19At it well. Just with tambourine and he's
- 45:22away in a hack. He is.
- 45:23He is the deity of music, merriment, and childbirth.
- 45:27So amazing. He was.
- 45:31He looks like he's possibly the the dwarf fan's favorite.
- 45:35Doesn't. He There we go.
- 45:39Played by Peter Peter Dinklage in any movie that comes up.
- 45:43Yeah. In the Figure Obscura Tales
- 45:47movie here he's yeah. With that mouth, Imhotep,
- 45:51Imhotep, Imhotep I think. Was that the one from The Mummy?
- 45:58It was. It was the name of the priest,
- 46:00wasn't it? In The Mummy he was Imhotep.
- 46:03Possibly. Yeah, that he was the bad guy
- 46:05anyway. Yeah, he's definitely the bad
- 46:06guy. Yeah, it was, it was Imhotep.
- 46:08We have Nefertum, Gab, Newt and and Babi, the baboon baller
- 46:17that's on top of the canopic jars again.
- 46:21You know one of him in the future would be amazing.
- 46:23Yeah, that'd be cool. Just just saying Forsman.
- 46:26Just saying. Imhotep was also a buddy on
- 46:32Stargate. Yeah, I was.
- 46:36I know I'm pretty bad on Stargate.
- 46:39I've watched the odd episode, but might be something to go
- 46:43back and look at. But I did do a little bit of
- 46:46research just from my own knowledge and yeah, it kind of
- 46:50links in a lot of this stuff. It's interesting.
- 46:54Yeah, they've, they've in the show.
- 46:56I mean, obviously it's, you know, cheesy fun, but they did a
- 46:59good bit of research into the gods and how they lined up and
- 47:02that sort of stuff. We now have Min, then we have
- 47:06Isis and Osiris, who husband and wife.
- 47:11They were both in Stargate and interestingly there there go out
- 47:15old symbiotes. So the little wiggly worm things
- 47:18that Burrow into people's heads. Not fake of Egyptian mythology,
- 47:24not just like this is basically a star game.
- 47:26Yeah, but their but their their gold Symbians were both sealed
- 47:30in canopic jars and then they got out because some Egypt
- 47:34opened them. It's funny how that happens so
- 47:38much in these. Shows it is.
- 47:39Films, isn't it? Leave the jar shut Just.
- 47:44Don't do it. It's like, you know, there's
- 47:48danger. It's a horror movie.
- 47:49I'm just going to go for a walk outside in the dark by myself.
- 47:51No, no night. Then we have Nephesis.
- 47:59Thank you. And set again.
- 48:03We'll start. An awesome anteater.
- 48:05Yes, but the anteater version here is much, you know, I almost
- 48:09want to say to the Four Horsemen.
- 48:10It's like maybe like a a Figure Obscura headset.
- 48:13I've heads backed him up so he's an art of Arc.
- 48:17He's an Aardvark. OK, first letter, the first
- 48:24first word in the dictionary, isn't he?
- 48:28Possibly, I don't know. If you were calling an Egyptian
- 48:30God, he'd be the first one in the book.
- 48:34He's based on an aardvark. Interesting aardvark fact.
- 48:38If you see them at zoos you will only ever see them sleep because
- 48:41they're nocturnal. So in the night they're
- 48:44frolicking all over the place, in the daytime they are.
- 48:47Fast asleep, sounds like one of my cats.
- 48:53We then have take us down John. We then have Horus, another
- 48:58pretty famous God, interestingly one of the Gothitropolis
- 49:07Egyptian figures with him, the name, the range now, but they
- 49:11had a Horus in that as well. Yeah, I've got it in my display.
- 49:16Was it the 7th? Kingdom was the. 7th Kingdom.
- 49:19Thank you, Mal. Or 7th day with scarabus as well
- 49:23and stuff. Yeah, it was all that sort of
- 49:25period. I'm sorry this is terrible
- 49:26background, but yes. And they have Horus Heresy in in
- 49:30Warhammer as well. They do yes, but I know I've got
- 49:33the the 7th Kingdom Horus. It's the leader of my Egyptian
- 49:36Slal faction actually. We then have Yeoman Anubis.
- 49:42Yep. Here he is.
- 49:44Here he is, we then having as impressive as the figure
- 49:47Obscura. No, definitely not.
- 49:49We then have APIs. Who's a cow again?
- 49:54Head pack. Cow head pack?
- 49:55Yeah, yes, please. This is the next one.
- 49:58We need a figure obscura and and and they need to make it out
- 50:01like the moose body. That's what we need.
- 50:03But and like a skirt piece and that sort of thing.
- 50:09And if we could make it a 2 pack with an ex God Capri which is a
- 50:12human with a scarab beetle as a head then that would be
- 50:17absolutely awesome. This is the old man, old man
- 50:21Kyle nemesis figure. Yes, it is.
- 50:24Yeah. Yeah.
- 50:25As long as it's not Cicada, he's OK.
- 50:28He's got a bug phobia. I think he I think he wouldn't
- 50:30like this either, to be honest. Now right then we got.
- 50:35We then have a really cool row here, so we have Mr. Happy who's
- 50:37literally chortling. It's brilliant and he's got a
- 50:42very cool headdress. I like that headdress as well.
- 50:45We then have 4th who's an Ibis looking at the the character
- 50:50head. It's a bird with a big long beak
- 50:52for a wading bird taking stuff out.
- 50:55We then have Sashat Neath, Koonam and Sir Ted.
- 51:04So Neath is just a chick with bow and arrow?
- 51:07Yeah, but Koonam is some sort of a.
- 51:12It's almost like a deer, yeah, or maybe an antelope coming from
- 51:16Africa. So yeah, it's it's the Egyptian
- 51:19version of Zeil owner, basically.
- 51:21I was going to say it turns out Happy is a sadistic so and so
- 51:24because he is the God of the annual floods of the Nile.
- 51:29So yeah, he's all happy because he's flooding people and.
- 51:35That's But then he'd say that. He'd say the flooding led to
- 51:37good irrigation and crop growth, so he was actually doing a
- 51:40favour. He of this, yeah, that's it,
- 51:42fertility of the soil and that sort of things, yeah.
- 51:45And. I don't want to call ours, Yeah.
- 51:48And I don't want to call to Tat Tat out on this, but it does
- 51:51look suspicious. She's like she's wearing a
- 51:53Turkey on her head. Oh, could be a Turkey as well,
- 51:56yeah. That's an uncooked Turkey
- 51:58waiting to go in the oven that she's wearing on her head.
- 52:02And yeah, Happy is definitely in charge of the weather here at
- 52:05the moment, that's for sure. Absolutely horse and it down
- 52:08with rain. Yeah, we've got rain here now as
- 52:11well. Not fun.
- 52:13We've had like every second day is like just literally 24 hours
- 52:17rain. It's ridiculous anyway.
- 52:20And then Astro as well the. Very last row we have Wadgett.
- 52:24I have to check out these are actually pronounced later on
- 52:26Google or something and just laugh at myself.
- 52:30Who's a snake? A cobra, in fact, again, cobra,
- 52:33head pack, people cobra and a head pack.
- 52:36We have Nexbet, who is a vulture.
- 52:42We have Suquette, a human with a little hat.
- 52:46And then we got. Scorpion on the top, isn't it?
- 52:48Is it scorpion? Yeah.
- 52:49Scorpion looks like a jerk. OK, human with a scorpion head
- 52:52pack. And then we have Anuket who's
- 52:56got a very interesting headdresser.
- 52:57Headdress makes me think almost of like sort of Aztec and Inca
- 53:04type headdresses. Yeah, and like setach has no
- 53:10feet. Yes.
- 53:14So for all the ancient aliens conspiracy theorists out there,
- 53:16all those pyramids in the in Central America and there is an
- 53:19Egypt, then there you go. She's got the same headdress.
- 53:21So clearly they're interlinked. So there you go.
- 53:26So we got all those cool images from veritableholcomb.com.
- 53:31There you go. So that was a pretty cool
- 53:35depiction of the ancient Egyptian gods to give us some
- 53:40context for the figure obscura. So that headdress is a crown of
- 53:47reeds and ostrich feathers. That's a new cat, is it?
- 53:53For a new cat, yeah. Yeah, a new cat.
- 53:55Sorry. Yeah.
- 53:57However, it is interesting. I don't know either.
- 54:01This is good, Mal. You're using the power of Google
- 54:02to help us I. No, no, I just know it.
- 54:07And quite frankly, you're pronouncing it better than I
- 54:09was. So that's.
- 54:10All I'm not reading. In your studies, rich, how much
- 54:14did you do on ancient Egypt? No.
- 54:17We had one. What do Americans call it?
- 54:21A semester? One term?
- 54:22Yeah, basically of looking at Egyptian, but it's mainly about
- 54:26the Egyptian military and that sort of stuff.
- 54:28So with an extremely creepy professor.
- 54:33Yeah, he's the sort of professor that someone would come to light
- 54:34in the future and he'd be fired. But.
- 54:38But I allegedly, yes. But the interestingly on the
- 54:44Egyptian family tree, I would want to point out that one of my
- 54:47favorite Egyptian gods is not on there.
- 54:49So, Sobek. OK, so this is which is your
- 54:53subtitle here on the screen here exactly?
- 54:55Why not? Why not Sobek?
- 54:57Because he's a crocodilian God so.
- 55:01So I give a quick bio for him. Some ancient Egyptian sects
- 55:04believed that Sobek created order in the universe and the
- 55:07world when he arose from the dark water and that he was a
- 55:10curator of the the Nile River. He was often associated with
- 55:14fertility. Sobek was revered for his
- 55:16ferocity and quick movements. However, he was an unpredictable
- 55:20deity, as were his crocodile counterparts.
- 55:23He was sometimes associated with chaos.
- 55:25This is why I like this guy. The people of ancient The people
- 55:28of ancient Egypt worshiped Sobek in order to appease both him and
- 55:31crocodiles in general, and also to ensure the fertility of their
- 55:34people and Crocs. Many mummified crocodiles of all
- 55:37ages and sizes have been found in Egyptian tombs.
- 55:41Sobek was associated with both Seth, his father, and Horus,
- 55:44whom he helped birth. He was also considered to be the
- 55:47Army's patron because of his ferocity.
- 55:50He's an awesome dude. Yeah, so there's the kind of
- 55:54typical depiction of him. So yes, he's not far from
- 55:58Anubis. Figure we got here with just a
- 56:00crock head. Just the crock head, and
- 56:03interestingly there is a third party crock head out there that
- 56:05looks pretty much exactly like that, but better.
- 56:10Yeah, So we'll, we'll maybe give a shout out to Plantry dog toys
- 56:15who have a lot of parts that they did an Egyptian kit last
- 56:21year. And as we know what planetary
- 56:25dog will eventually retire a lot of these parts and they're going
- 56:28to close their shop and concentrate on other stuff.
- 56:32So this is the Sobek head they have, which is pretty cool.
- 56:38Rich, you've got one of these. I don't, and the only reason I
- 56:42don't is because I have a Sobek Ogre in my Egyptian ranks.
- 56:46Oh, you do OK. So from I want to say it's ATB
- 56:52league is the company they do 1-6 scale 12 inch tall figures.
- 56:57It's so basically, yeah. So I got I got the not the
- 57:00actual figure. I got the head and some a neck
- 57:03piece and this sort of stuff from that and I used it on a
- 57:06shadow Ecuador. We.
- 57:08We should. Probably describe the Sobek head
- 57:12here for rather for people who are listening.
- 57:14So it's it's got the hood similar to well slightly
- 57:18different style but the similar hood to Anubis figure.
- 57:23But then he's got a headdress which stands very tall with two
- 57:28cobras facing away from each other with what I'm guessing is
- 57:32meant to represent the sun or something like that between
- 57:38them. Yep.
- 57:43It's very cool. Go and look it up on Planetary
- 57:47Dog. So is this the so back you have
- 57:52rich? That is, yes.
- 57:55There you go, TV league. So over scale, although it's a
- 58:0216 scale figure. Yes.
- 58:04So the heads, the heads are pretty big, but in this sort of
- 58:07setting they work really well actually.
- 58:09Normally the heads are a bit too big for mythic Legions, Ogre
- 58:11scale stuff, but things like the armour, weapons, that sort of
- 58:14stuff really well. But the head works really well
- 58:16for this as well. And on the shadow Echidron body
- 58:19with the tattoos and that, yeah. Here's Sebas Anubis head.
- 58:25So again, if you wanted to do your own custom Anubis head and
- 58:30you like the sculpt, you get it from Seba Planetary.
- 58:34Dog, I feel like Sebas Saba's sculpts, their headdresses would
- 58:39work quite well for Stargate styled characters.
- 58:45They've got sort of plates that look like there could be those
- 58:48retractable. Yeah, plates.
- 58:50I was about to say the same thing model.
- 58:52I've just only realized I will be buying one of these head
- 58:54sculpts and creating a Stargate. Go old.
- 58:59There you go. Well, he's got a an awesome
- 59:05shield as well here. I love that.
- 59:08Yeah, Scarab beetle shield. Great.
- 59:10So that is very cool, yeah. And if people are interested in
- 59:15the Egyptian stuff, generally Planetary Dog toys have got a
- 59:18range of mummy heads, but they are being discontinued at the
- 59:22end of this month. So you've got 10 days people to
- 59:25get your mummy heads before they disappear.
- 59:28And oh, they a lot of them. So yeah.
- 59:31I was about so they also do the scales Anubis scales.
- 59:35Yeah, you got the you got the scales with a feather on one
- 59:39side and a heart on the other, which is what do we say the
- 59:42heart is the soul And you said they don't cut out the heart.
- 59:46Rich. So no.
- 59:47They leave it in the body because it's so important.
- 59:50Is it in the scales here? I think they probably take it
- 59:52out and then put it back. I mean that, you know, they
- 59:54were, they were quite happy to eviscerate people so that you
- 59:56know. So just measuring the, yeah.
- 1:00:00Measuring the OR Weighing the soul.
- 1:00:02But if the heart was heavy, if the heart was heavier than the
- 1:00:04feather, you'd LED a bad life and you went to the bad place.
- 1:00:08So I presume everybody went to the bad place, because unless
- 1:00:10you had a very fat feather, that's not going to balance out.
- 1:00:14And then again, there's the ank. Is this the little?
- 1:00:18Yeah, the ank. Thing.
- 1:00:19But it's got this one's got almost like a serpent coiling
- 1:00:22around it. Serpent is cool.
- 1:00:24Very like buying some accessories from Yeah Seba.
- 1:00:30There you go. Well, I'm probably going to do a
- 1:00:32sub order at some stage soon, So if we want to combine for
- 1:00:36shipping and then I can, yeah, show up next over to you.
- 1:00:40If people I should put shout out to if people want to see some
- 1:00:44coolgate, some cool, not coolgate, that's a toothpaste,
- 1:00:48some cool, some cool Stargate type stuff Rich associate with
- 1:00:53mythic legions. Have a look at Mark Callaway
- 1:00:56website and Facebook posts. He's not selling it because it's
- 1:00:59IP obviously stuff to Stargate, but he's he's done some stuff
- 1:01:03for his own collection. So he's got like for those
- 1:01:06Stargate aficionados, a dialing device.
- 1:01:09He's done a couple of the guards helmets previously as well when
- 1:01:13they were available for sale. I've got a couple.
- 1:01:17So yeah, check out his posts on Facebook and that for the sort
- 1:01:19of Stargate type look to these things.
- 1:01:22Oh, is he so that that dial that he showed recently that.
- 1:01:26Yes, so that's the that's the dial home device or the DHD
- 1:01:30where they press 7 symbols and then the Stargate opens and they
- 1:01:34go through it to go home or it goes to a different planet.
- 1:01:37Right, so trying to find them here on his page but.
- 1:01:42Oh, they're going to be at the very, very.
- 1:01:43It's one of the very first things he did.
- 1:01:45So you need to really go back to see the the got old stuff should
- 1:01:51have told you this is an advantage and you could have got
- 1:01:53it set up. Should have, yeah.
- 1:01:54I know, I know. Action would have been key.
- 1:01:56I know life's busy. I'm on holiday next recently.
- 1:02:00Hey, you see Richland's me, see great, great Instagram account.
- 1:02:05Yeah, OK, I give up. It's right.
- 1:02:07If you just keep, keep going a bit, keep going a bit further,
- 1:02:09John, you're almost there. It's.
- 1:02:11Too late was I. No, that's fine.
- 1:02:13You can do it in the background. No, but yes, he had he had like
- 1:02:17a neck piece similar to what Seb has done actually, and then the
- 1:02:21the head thing that opens up to see people's faces.
- 1:02:25He had heads couple of Tilk, one of the main characters, and then
- 1:02:28he had a weapon as well, like a staff weapon that they they used
- 1:02:31to use. It means nothing to you, John,
- 1:02:35but Len will be loving this content if he's listening.
- 1:02:41There you go, Len. Well, hook your hook yourself up
- 1:02:44with Mark and maybe you can do some sort of Stargate tribute
- 1:02:47without infringing on IP. There you go.
- 1:02:51That would be the the ideal scenario there.
- 1:02:54But yes, I I think it's fair to say I mean I was really hoping
- 1:02:57for a mummy with this. But when I saw the set I
- 1:03:01instantly took the mummy idea at my head.
- 1:03:02It was like these are amazing. Oh my God Oh my God Oh my God.
- 1:03:06To the point my I paused fall out which me and my wife are
- 1:03:09enjoying. And I was like no, no, I just
- 1:03:11need to order this. I need to order this.
- 1:03:13Yes, you. Yeah.
- 1:03:16So finally. So me and Mal and I have watched
- 1:03:19Fallout and you're finally getting around to it.
- 1:03:22Yeah, I've, I've watched the first four episodes.
- 1:03:25Yeah. And what's most awesome is that
- 1:03:28Mrs. Jones likes it as well. So.
- 1:03:30She does. She's not quite as enthusiastic.
- 1:03:32So at the same time she is. Yeah, at the same time she's,
- 1:03:35you know, the galls a bit much for her.
- 1:03:37When when they started making butt cheek, oh God, I forgot one
- 1:03:43was called jerky but but she jerky in the last one.
- 1:03:46She was like Oh my God, Oh my God.
- 1:03:49But yeah, very, very enjoyable series and she's enjoying it
- 1:03:52too, so that's good. OK.
- 1:03:54Whereas she wouldn't watch Stargate for some reason.
- 1:03:56I don't understand why. Did she watch?
- 1:03:59Did you watch The Last of Us? Not yet, no.
- 1:04:02She's she's vetoed that, so I need to watch that by myself.
- 1:04:05But now that I'm finally through Stargate, I can actually.
- 1:04:08Sorry, this is Stargate. And The Fallout and The Last of
- 1:04:10Us are two series that I think kind of crossed the bounds of
- 1:04:13nerddom into kind of regular people.
- 1:04:16OK yeah, like them as well. Absolutely.
- 1:04:18At least that's what I think. You know, my radar could be off,
- 1:04:22but I think there's lots of people I know that aren't into
- 1:04:25nerd stuff that liked both series.
- 1:04:28Yeah, no, I need to. I need to take a bit of a
- 1:04:30Stargate break and just watch some other shorter series rather
- 1:04:33than one that's going to take me two months watching it non-stop
- 1:04:36to get through. Well, I don't know, baby
- 1:04:38reindeer on Netflix, That's really good.
- 1:04:40Yes, I feel good things I want to.
- 1:04:42I watched the first couple of episodes ages go and I'll go
- 1:04:44back to it. A series called Hunters on
- 1:04:46Amazon about Nazi hunters. Before, Yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:49The 1st 10 minutes of the first episode, you like jaw on the
- 1:04:54floor sort of thing. It's just like, Oh my God, it's
- 1:04:59so dark and like, yeah, so I need, I need to watch the two
- 1:05:02series there. OK, I think we may, I think we
- 1:05:05maybe talked about that in the Patreon.
- 1:05:07I. Think we might have?
- 1:05:08Yeah, yeah, yeah. Very good.
- 1:05:11Well, we got our figure Obscura. We're probably going to get it
- 1:05:15in hand. Mine is on the way.
- 1:05:18Probably here in time for next. Week already chat son of a Yeah.
- 1:05:23Well, just went in bang all in. What?
- 1:05:26Yeah, actually that's although we did talk about obviously we
- 1:05:30all ordered it. Yeah, I ordered an all in.
- 1:05:32That was done. Mal ordered an all in plus one.
- 1:05:35Is that right? Plus 2 + 2 Yeah, on Sunday.
- 1:05:40On Sunday I had to order another one.
- 1:05:42As I said, I've got the all in the one to stay, the all in
- 1:05:44with. Well the way to word this one
- 1:05:46will stay in box, one will be displayed and then I needed one
- 1:05:49to play with the parts and got you do a bit of pop and swap.
- 1:05:53Leave Anubis parts alone, you pervert.
- 1:05:59Rich. I I ordered four sets, three of
- 1:06:05which are for me and one is for another UK collector, Dennis.
- 1:06:09He was aware on holiday, so he's like, can you order me?
- 1:06:11So I was like, yeah, no problem at all.
- 1:06:12I'll pick that up for you. I tried he.
- 1:06:15Obviously, Dennis does it's great.
- 1:06:18Great comments. Yeah, he doesn't regular customs
- 1:06:20too. Dennis.
- 1:06:22I tried to do three sets and an all in and the shipping jumped
- 1:06:26from $62.00 for four sets to $106.00 for three and an all in
- 1:06:34and at that point I was like no, I'm not spending 40. 4 heavy
- 1:06:36changes. There, Yeah.
- 1:06:38So, so I will do without the pins.
- 1:06:40I don't normally go for Orleans, but I was quite tempted like
- 1:06:42these. But I can survive without
- 1:06:43mugging pins. That's fine.
- 1:06:46Yeah, you probably the mug probably be difficult to get.
- 1:06:48I know that for example at last legions con there was a box full
- 1:06:53of the like monkey king pins and so.
- 1:06:57After that, I'll definitely pick them up.
- 1:06:59Oh yeah. Think they're.
- 1:07:00Yeah, they're very easy. They're like the, they're like
- 1:07:03the packets of sweets at the tail in the grocery store, you
- 1:07:06know? Yes, you know.
- 1:07:09Oh, pins. Yeah, well I'm already spending
- 1:07:11a grand on figures degrade on 2 pins.
- 1:07:14It seems fair. I I won't be doing that this
- 1:07:18year. I'm going to buy a limit buying
- 1:07:20limit on myself, no? To say Rich will not be spending
- 1:07:25a grand on say. Thank you, Mal.
- 1:07:27Thank you. That's the attitude apart.
- 1:07:29From apart from the exclusives, which I'll definitely get and
- 1:07:35probably keep the, you know, try and bring back a box set of
- 1:07:39each. And I definitely think any other
- 1:07:43figures I get will be just loose in the bag extras, which that's
- 1:07:50what I did with the good few this year.
- 1:07:52And and then the other box that Len kindly shipped for us.
- 1:07:55I did a lot of in package figures.
- 1:07:57But I don't know why I did that in the end because I mean the
- 1:08:01figures are fine, but I don't know why I didn't get them in
- 1:08:03package because actually I don't need them in package.
- 1:08:06So it was just a waste of I could have just fixed fitted all
- 1:08:10those figures into my luggage. So I think this year my rule
- 1:08:14would be if, if I can, if I need the figure to, you know, take
- 1:08:19out of the package and throw in the luggage, fine.
- 1:08:21But otherwise no. Yeah, buy some.
- 1:08:24You know, you cursed me last year for breaking your eardrums
- 1:08:28with all the plastic I'm packing.
- 1:08:29But it's the way to do it. Unpack them.
- 1:08:31Shim in a bag and you know so many suitcase.
- 1:08:34The, the, the hotel needs to really get like three or four
- 1:08:39more recycling trucks that Monday because we can get a lot
- 1:08:43of packaging to bring home or to bring to the recycling centre,
- 1:08:47that's for sure. See if any entrepreneuring
- 1:08:50children or Legions con set up an opening station.
- 1:08:54I'll open each of you figures for a dollar a go.
- 1:08:56Boom, boom, boom. There you go, 20 figures
- 1:08:58unwrapped for your $20 kid. There you go.
- 1:09:00Go and buy something good for yourself.
- 1:09:01Well. In in a country like America,
- 1:09:04that's definitely a possibility. That's an enterprising idea,
- 1:09:09that's for sure. That's for sure.
- 1:09:13Right. So I think we're good.
- 1:09:15What are we going to do now without football for the sad?
- 1:09:18Times I watched the watch the Liverpool game.
- 1:09:21Smile a bit more based. On Yeah, I was going to say.
- 1:09:26Were you crying about Clapo there?
- 1:09:28Rich I was unhappy obviously when they broke the news a few
- 1:09:32months ago. I was devastated there.
- 1:09:33I've had time to get used to it a bit more now.
- 1:09:35But they didn't mess around with the replacement though the
- 1:09:37replacement was in the next day. Yeah, Arna.
- 1:09:41Arna slot. But now he's he's had coach as
- 1:09:46opposed to yes. I mean Clop was heading a little
- 1:09:49bit towards that anyway sort of thing.
- 1:09:50So they put in I. Think by force of personality.
- 1:09:53I think Clop was always basically manager, you know, I.
- 1:09:56Think Liverpool have been keen for quite a number of years now
- 1:09:58to do like a transfer committee. So you know, you can't just be a
- 1:10:02manager going. I want that player.
- 1:10:03It's like, you know, there's a committee that decides.
- 1:10:05But Clop I think got his way quite often because of
- 1:10:08personality wise, whereas a new guy coming from the Dutch
- 1:10:11system, which is very much a director of football and a
- 1:10:13coach, he's used to that method. So he'll he'll be absolutely
- 1:10:16fine in that system. So a couple of things.
- 1:10:18So the EUR coming up at least. So that's going to be something
- 1:10:21to watch. Whales are in there as well.
- 1:10:23They're not. No.
- 1:10:24We got knocked down. Thanks, John.
- 1:10:27Remind me of that. Thank you.
- 1:10:28Yeah, we lost. To be some.
- 1:10:30We lost Poland the last qualifying thing.
- 1:10:33Sorry, but well, I mean, we're at the door ages ago.
- 1:10:36So, you know, I wasn't even considering.
- 1:10:40I I thought it was funny. So Noel Gallagher from Oasis,
- 1:10:46they asked him on the pitch afterwards on the game on
- 1:10:50Saturday, the Man City game or Sunday that you looking forward
- 1:10:53to watching Phil Foden at the EUR and he goes, no, I'm an
- 1:10:56Ireland fan. What are you talking about?
- 1:11:01So Oasis are now Irish, just in case you're wondering.
- 1:11:04There we go. Explains a lot, doesn't it?
- 1:11:10One more bit of footballing news.
- 1:11:12Chelsea sacked Potoschino. Yeah, they did a.
- 1:11:15Couple of hours ago. It's like what is wrong with
- 1:11:17them? It's just that.
- 1:11:19You never learn. And it's the best job in the
- 1:11:22world is a football manager of a Premier League club because even
- 1:11:25if you're rubbish, you're going to get fired and you're going to
- 1:11:27get your rest of your contract. Paid.
- 1:11:29Oh yeah, yeah. Does Everybody's lost.
- 1:11:30Left Brighton as well. Mal.
- 1:11:31Has he? Yeah, yeah.
- 1:11:34OK. Coincidence.
- 1:11:36We'll say. We'll say.
- 1:11:38Yeah, I heard. You heard to work with the.
- 1:11:40Really more interesting for me was company Vincent company's
- 1:11:46been linked with Bayern Munich. Oh my God.
- 1:11:49He's just literally got Burnley relegated after a dreadful
- 1:11:51season and he's looking to Bayern Munich.
- 1:11:53It's like, wow. Things go from good to worse to
- 1:11:57be bad to worse for hurricane. It's a Mickey Mouse league,
- 1:12:00isn't it? Let's be honest, the.
- 1:12:03Sorry, sorry, Ralph and Nico and everybody else listens to this.
- 1:12:06Apologies, but yeah. Yeah, so there you go.
- 1:12:12We're we're left with that sport to watch for a while.
- 1:12:14So we're going to have to concentrate much more on
- 1:12:16figures. A couple of Patreon episodes
- 1:12:20done boys as well. We will definitely do a couple.
- 1:12:22We need to the 80s action movies one, but definitely I'm good to
- 1:12:25go on that now so. And I found my I've been looking
- 1:12:29for for ages. I found our our honeymoon diary
- 1:12:33that we did in Australia. Whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 1:12:35Don't tell people about that. No, no, no, it's not.
- 1:12:40No matter what diary is, if you're you're not going to write
- 1:12:42down about that kind of stuff in the diary, this is like.
- 1:12:45For the patrons. I wanted to have a chat with my
- 1:12:52wife because I mean, I can easily do that here to do an
- 1:12:57episode, but I thought there was some fun stuff in that diary
- 1:13:01about shit that went out because I like on that.
- 1:13:04On that trip I got food poisoning.
- 1:13:07I ended up having us in like, uh, because we had a cup.
- 1:13:10We did a road trip and a lot of it was booked, but there was a
- 1:13:13couple of days where you had to kind of book the accommodation
- 1:13:16the day before. And I ended up at least twice,
- 1:13:21definitely once, maybe twice in a complete shithole hotel.
- 1:13:26And I knew there was some funny stuff in the diary because it's
- 1:13:29like, it's, it's 15 years ago now, nearly, uh, 2009.
- 1:13:34So umm, I knew there would be some fun stuff, so I planned to
- 1:13:38just kind of read out some some stuff and get her to come and
- 1:13:40done it. So that should be fun.
- 1:13:42Excellent, I mean you said it was a shit hotel but at least it
- 1:13:46was there. I went on a stag do to Hamburg
- 1:13:50and we turned up at hostel and hostel didn't exist.
- 1:13:54So there was about 2324 of us stood on the street in Hamburg
- 1:13:58with nowhere to stay. Yeah, that's worse.
- 1:14:02Yeah, luckily one of the guides guys had spent a few years in
- 1:14:04Germany because his dad was in the forces when he was younger,
- 1:14:07so had a, you know, an OK understanding in German.
- 1:14:10So we like trawled round all these different hotels and
- 1:14:13finally found somewhere. But yeah, that was fun.
- 1:14:17Now this one was a Paddy's bar was the name of the place in the
- 1:14:21head hotel attached to it and they had a full like heavy metal
- 1:14:26rock concert on the same day that I didn't know about.
- 1:14:29And the entire contents of the hotel was literally 19 to 20
- 1:14:34year old people going to the gig.
- 1:14:38Yeah, Oh my goodness. I.
- 1:14:39Met some guy in the corridor on the way down and he was like a
- 1:14:42promise I'd be so drunk later I won't make any noise.
- 1:14:48Amazing. Yeah, we were in.
- 1:14:52We got up like. First thing and just like that.
- 1:14:55We were in San Diego a few years ago, me and my wife, and we
- 1:14:59found this lovely little quaint boutique hotel and it was like
- 1:15:02every room was decorated in a different style, you know, like
- 1:15:05real quaint sort of thing. So we booked the night.
- 1:15:07We booked in there. Brilliant.
- 1:15:09You know, I think we were staying for two nights in that
- 1:15:11one. That's great.
- 1:15:12Working up at 5:00 AM on the Sunday morning by a band, Rock
- 1:15:16Band playing directly outside the hotel because we hadn't
- 1:15:20realized it was a it was a San Diego Marathon and every mile
- 1:15:24had a different live group playing. 5:00 AM.
- 1:15:28In the sound check. No, they were just playing.
- 1:15:30I don't know what time the marathon is like because it's
- 1:15:32pretty hot there. Maybe they started yeah, 5:00 AM
- 1:15:34and we just like what the hell is going on?
- 1:15:39Maybe they're on the UK time? Maybe.
- 1:15:42Yeah. It's like, Oh no, no, no.
- 1:15:46I love it. War stories.
- 1:15:47Yeah. All righty.
- 1:15:49Well, that's it for this week, I think, and I can't wait to get
- 1:15:55these figures. We'll definitely have a little
- 1:15:59chat next week about how they are in hand and I'm sure they
- 1:16:02will arrive. I'm gonna reach yourself for two
- 1:16:04months. Let's be honest.
- 1:16:05Rich is off to Wales so he probably won't get them anyway,
- 1:16:07although he is hoping to be able to talk to us next week as well
- 1:16:11because there might be Wi-Fi where he's going so.
- 1:16:15Yes, and like my normal Welsh destination that this one
- 1:16:17actually has, you know, modern amenities.
- 1:16:21Yeah, modern conveniences here. I'd like to make one final
- 1:16:26comment about both of the figures.
- 1:16:28I would say Bastet is perfect and Anubis is the dog's
- 1:16:36bollocks. I have no more words.
- 1:16:43Awesome man. Stay safe out there everybody.
- 1:16:48Watch out for angry crocodiles. You haven't had doughnuts?
- 1:17:19None.
