  hint

  for

  all

  the

  ones
• 2:06
  that

  wow,
• 2:07
  these
• 2:07
  are
• 2:07
  actually
• 2:07
  some
• 2:07
  really
• 2:07
  interesting
• 2:08
  things.
• 2:08
  Well,
• 2:08
  we're
• 2:09
  also
• 2:09
  here

  it
• 2:14
  going?
• 2:14
  Great.
• 2:15
  Yeah.
• 2:16
  Yeah.
• 2:18
  And
• 2:18
  with
• 2:19
  all
• 2:19
  of
• 2:19
  that,
• 2:19
  we
• 2:19
  do
• 2:20
  have
• 2:20
  to
• 2:21
  shout
• 2:21
  out
• 2:21
  the
• 2:21
  last
• 2:22
  thing
• 2:22
  we
• 2:22
  read
• 2:23
  that
• 2:23
  wasn't
• 2:23
  the
• 2:24
  same
• 2:24
  type
• 2:24
  of
• 2:24
  literature
• 2:24
  that
• 2:25
  we're
• 2:25
  discussing
• 2:25
  today.
• 2:26
  Pretty
• 2:26
  easy.
• 2:27
  I
• 2:28
  don't
• 2:28
  just
• 2:28
  sit
• 2:28
  down
• 2:28
  and
• 2:28
  read
• 2:29
  video
• 2:29
  game
• 2:29
  literature
• 2:29
  that
• 2:30
  often.
• 2:31
  Yeah,
• 2:31
  me
• 2:31
  neither.
• 2:33
  I've
• 2:34
  been
• 2:34
  going
• 2:34
  through
• 2:36
  some
• 2:36
  of
• 2:36
  the
• 2:36
  more
• 2:36
  recent
• 2:37
  runs
• 2:37
  of
• 2:37
  Moon
• 2:37
  Knight,
• 2:38
  making
• 2:38
  sure
• 2:38
  I've
• 2:39
  read
• 2:39
  everything,
• 2:39
  and
• 2:39
  caught
• 2:39
  up
• 2:40
  because
• 2:40
  I'm
• 2:41
  doing
• 2:41
  an
• 2:41
  episode
• 2:41
  of
• 2:41
  Rethinking
• 2:42
  Comics
• 2:42
  with
• 2:42
  Josh
• 2:43
  Patterson
• 2:43
  about
• 2:44
  a
• 2:44
  Moon
• 2:44
  Knight
• 2:44
  comic
• 2:45
  from
• 2:45
  a
• 2:45
  few
• 2:45
  years
• 2:45
  ago,
• 2:45
  and
• 2:45
  I
• 2:45
  was
• 2:46
  like,
• 2:46
  you
• 2:46
  know,
• 2:46
  I
• 2:46
  do
• 2:47
  just
• 2:47
  like
• 2:47
  reading
• 2:47
  Moon
• 2:48
  Knight.
• 2:48
  So
• 2:48
  that's
• 2:48
  just.
• 2:48
  I
• 2:49
  just
• 2:49
  been
• 2:49
  reading
• 2:49
  a
• 2:49
  lot
• 2:49
  of
• 2:49
  Moon
• 2:49
  Knight.
• 2:50
  I
• 2:50
  don't
• 2:50
  know
• 2:50
  which
• 2:50
  one
• 2:51
  specifically
• 2:51
  was
• 2:51
  the
• 2:51
  last
• 2:51
  one
• 2:52
  I
• 2:52
  read,
• 2:52
  but
• 2:52
  it
• 2:52
  was
• 2:52
  probably
• 2:53
  Moon
• 2:53
  Knight.
• 2:53
  Yeah,
• 2:54
  yeah,
• 2:55
  I
• 2:55
  just.
• 2:56
  I
• 2:56
  was
• 2:56
  reading
• 2:56
  a
• 2:56
  novel,
• 2:57
  Science
• 2:58
  Science
• 2:58
  fiction.
• 2:59
  Wait,
• 3:00
  what
• 3:00
  was
• 3:00
  it?
• 3:01
  Absolution,
• 3:01
  by
• 3:01
  Jeff
• 3:02
  Vandermeer.
• 3:04
  Man,
• 3:04
  that
• 3:04
  sounds
• 3:05
  like
• 3:05
  a
• 3:05
  smart
• 3:05
  person
• 3:05
  book.
• 3:05
  And
• 3:06
  then
• 3:06
  now
• 3:06
  you
• 3:06
  have
• 3:06
  these
• 3:06
  new
• 3:06
  glasses,
• 3:07
  so
• 3:07
  you
• 3:07
  look
• 3:07
  like
• 3:07
  a
• 3:08
  smart
• 3:08
  person
• 3:08
  reading
• 3:08
  smart
• 3:09
  people
• 3:09
  books.
• 3:10
  You're
• 3:11
  probably
• 3:11
  the
• 3:11
  kind
• 3:11
  of
• 3:11
  person
• 3:11
  who
• 3:11
  would
• 3:11
  be
• 3:12
  at

• 3:14
  Other
• 3:15
  people
• 3:15
  should
• 3:15
  also
• 3:15
  maybe
• 3:16
  think
• 3:16
  about
• 3:16
  seeing
• 3:17
  you
• 3:17
  over
• 3:17
  there.
• 3:18
  Well,
• 3:18
  perhaps
• 3:18
  it'll
• 3:19
  be
• 3:19
  if
• 3:20
  I
• 3:20
  have
• 3:20
  that
• 3:20
  link
• 3:21
  in
• 3:21
  the
• 3:21
  show.
• 3:22
  Notes,
• 3:22
  words
• 3:24
  with
• 3:24
  that.
• 3:24
  Guys,
• 3:24
  we
• 3:24
  do
• 3:25
  want
• 3:25
  to
• 3:25
  ask
• 3:25
  everybody
• 3:25
  to
• 3:25
  rate
• 3:25
  and
• 3:26
  review
• 3:26
  the
• 3:26
  show.
• 3:26
  Wherever
• 3:27
  you're
• 3:27
  listening,
• 3:27
  Apple,

  The

• 3:30
  helps
• 3:30
  the
• 3:30
  algorithms
• 3:31
  think
• 3:31
  that
• 3:31
  we're
• 3:31
  important.
• 3:33
  Oh,
• 3:33
  also,
• 3:33
  quick
• 3:33
  disclaimer
• 3:34
  if
• 3:34
  you're
• 3:34
  watching
• 3:34
  the
• 3:34
  video
• 3:35
  and
• 3:35
  it's
• 3:35
  like
• 3:35
  all
• 3:35
  dark
• 3:35
  where
• 3:36
  I
• 3:36
  am,
• 3:37
  I'm
• 3:37
  sick,
• 3:38
  so
• 3:38
  I
• 3:38
  probably
• 3:38
  also
• 3:39
  sound
• 3:39
  a
• 3:39
  little
• 3:39
  off.
• 3:39
  The

• 3:41
  so

  I'm
• 3:42
  just
• 3:42
  recording
• 3:42
  in
• 3:42
  the
• 3:42
  dark
• 3:43
  for

• 3:43
  It's

  fine.
• 3:44
  Do

• 3:50
  Jonathan,
• 3:51
  you're

  Or

  all
• 4:31
  reading
• 4:32
  accounts.
• 4:33
  All
• 4:33
  that
• 4:33
  goes
• 4:34
  to
• 4:34
  our
• 4:34
  local
• 4:34
  libraries
• 4:35
  to
• 4:35
  support
• 4:35
  literacy.
• 4:36
  Because
• 4:37
  that's
• 4:37
  something.
• 4:38
  That's
• 4:38
  something
• 4:38
  we
• 4:38
  care
• 4:38
  a
• 4:39
  little
• 4:39
  bit
• 4:39
  about
• 4:39
  at
• 4:39
  least.
• 4:40
  Yeah,
• 4:40
  just.
• 4:41
  Just
• 4:41
  a
• 4:41
  little.
• 4:41
  Yeah.
• 4:42
  And
• 4:42
  with
• 4:42
  that,
• 4:42
  we're
• 4:43
  gonna
• 4:43
  jump
• 4:43
  right
• 4:43
  into
• 4:43
  our
• 4:44
  main
• 4:44
  topic.
• 4:45
  Really
• 4:45
  weird
• 4:46
  one,
• 4:46
  I
• 4:46
  guess
• 4:47
  in
• 4:47
  game
• 4:47
  literature.
• 4:48
  It
• 4:48
  is.
• 4:48
  Yeah.
• 4:48
  It
• 4:49
  is
• 4:49
  a
• 4:49
  strange
• 4:49
  one.
• 4:50
  Yeah.
• 4:51
  I'm
• 4:51
  excited
• 4:52
  for
• 4:52
  it
• 4:52
  though.
• 4:52
  I
• 4:52
  think.
• 4:53
  I
• 4:53
  don't
• 4:53
  remember
• 4:53
  how
• 4:54
  it
• 4:54
  came
• 4:54
  up,
• 4:54
  other
• 4:54
  than
• 4:55
  maybe
• 4:55
  I
• 4:55
  just
• 4:55
  want
• 4:55
  to
• 4:55
  talk
• 4:56
  about
• 4:56
  the
• 4:56
  Kingdom
• 4:56
  Hearts
• 4:56
  reports.
• 4:57
  That's
• 4:57
  probably
• 4:57
  how
• 4:57
  it
• 4:57
  came
• 4:58
  up.
• 4:58
  And
• 4:58
  also
• 4:59
  when
• 4:59
  you
• 4:59
  do
• 4:59
  a
• 4:59
  series
• 5:00
  about
• 5:00
  all
• 5:00
  reading
• 5:00
  counts
• 5:01
  and
• 5:01
  try
• 5:01
  to
• 5:01
  do
• 5:01
  different
• 5:02
  kinds
• 5:02
  of
• 5:02
  literature
• 5:03
  for
• 5:03
  so
• 5:03
  long,
• 5:04
  eventually
• 5:04
  you
• 5:04
  start
• 5:04
  coming
• 5:04
  up
• 5:05
  with
• 5:05
  weird
• 5:05
  kinds
• 5:05
  of
• 5:06
  literature.
• 5:07
  Yeah,
• 5:09
  it's
• 5:09
  weird
• 5:10
  because
• 5:10
  if
• 5:10
  you
• 5:10
  think
• 5:10
  about
• 5:11
  it,
• 5:11
  there's
• 5:11
  just
• 5:12
  absolutely
• 5:12
  no
• 5:13
  reason
• 5:13
  for
• 5:13
  it
• 5:13
  not
• 5:14
  to
• 5:14
  count.
• 5:16
  But
• 5:16
  it
• 5:16
  reminds
• 5:17
  me
• 5:17
  of
• 5:18
  how
• 5:18
  when
• 5:19
  you
• 5:19
  turn
• 5:19
  on
• 5:19
  a
• 5:19
  lamp
• 5:20
  in
• 5:20
  a
• 5:20
  game,
• 5:23
  it's
• 5:23
  a
• 5:23
  real
• 5:23
  lamp,
• 5:24
  it's
• 5:24
  using
• 5:24
  real
• 5:25
  electricity,
• 5:26
  it's
• 5:26
  providing
• 5:27
  actual
• 5:27
  light.
• 5:29
  It's
• 5:29
  similar.
• 5:31
  Yeah.
• 5:31
  I
• 5:31
  think
• 5:31
  it's
• 5:32
  interesting
• 5:32
  though
• 5:32
  too
• 5:33
  because
• 5:33
  a
• 5:34
  lot
• 5:34
  of
• 5:34
  people,
• 5:35
  I
• 5:35
  think,
• 5:35
  have
• 5:36
  this
• 5:36
  kind
• 5:36
  of
• 5:36
  misconception
• 5:37
  where
• 5:37
  it's
• 5:38
  like
• 5:38
  games
• 5:39
  rot
• 5:39
  your
• 5:39
  mind
• 5:40
  and
• 5:40
  do
• 5:40
  all
• 5:41
  this
• 5:41
  kind
• 5:41
  of
• 5:41
  stuff.
• 5:41
  And
• 5:41
  like,
• 5:42
  there
• 5:42
  are
• 5:42
  definitely
• 5:43
  some
• 5:43
  negative
• 5:43
  things
• 5:43
  from
• 5:44
  playing
• 5:44
  video
• 5:44
  games
• 5:44
  too
• 5:45
  much.
• 5:46
  Not
• 5:46
  just
• 5:46
  justifying
• 5:47
  it,
• 5:47
  but
• 5:48
  like,
• 5:48
  I
• 5:48
  feel
• 5:48
  like
• 5:48
  people
• 5:48
  don't
• 5:49
  associate
• 5:50
  reading
• 5:50
  and
• 5:51
  gaming
• 5:51
  together.
• 5:51
  But
• 5:52
  like,
• 5:52
  the
• 5:52
  more
• 5:52
  I
• 5:52
  think
• 5:52
  about
• 5:52
  like
• 5:53
  actually
• 5:54
  a
• 5:54
  good
• 5:54
  bit
• 5:54
  of
• 5:55
  the
• 5:55
  reading
• 5:55
  I've
• 5:55
  done
• 5:55
  in
• 5:55
  my
• 5:55
  life
• 5:56
  is
• 5:56
  probably
• 5:56
  because
• 5:56
  of
• 5:57
  a
• 5:57
  video
• 5:57
  game.
• 5:58
  Yeah.
• 5:58
  And
• 5:59
  there
• 5:59
  are
• 5:59
  like,
• 6:00
  not
• 6:00
  the
• 6:00
  ones
• 6:01
  we're
• 6:01
  talking
• 6:01
  about
• 6:01
  really,
• 6:02
  but
• 6:02
  there
• 6:02
  is
• 6:02
  an
• 6:02
  entire
• 6:03
  genre,
• 6:04
  a
• 6:04
  video
• 6:04
  game
• 6:05
  called
• 6:05
  the
• 6:05
  visual
• 6:05
  novel.
• 6:07
  It's
• 6:08
  a
• 6:08
  lot
• 6:08
  of
• 6:09
  reading
• 6:09
  in
• 6:09
  those.
• 6:10
  Yeah.
• 6:10
  Yeah.
• 6:11
  Well
• 6:11
  then
• 6:12
  we'll
• 6:12
  get
• 6:12
  to
• 6:12
  it
• 6:13
  in
• 6:13
  a
• 6:13
  second.
• 6:13
  But
• 6:13
  like,
• 6:13
  even
• 6:14
  when
• 6:14
  I
• 6:14
  was
• 6:14
  younger,
• 6:14
  like
• 6:15
  some,
• 6:15
  when
• 6:15
  some
• 6:15
  video
• 6:15
  games
• 6:16
  just
• 6:16
  want
• 6:16
  to
• 6:16
  save
• 6:16
  money
• 6:17
  instead
• 6:17
  of
• 6:17
  getting
• 6:17
  voice
• 6:17
  actors,
• 6:18
  there's
• 6:18
  just
• 6:18
  a
• 6:18
  lot
• 6:18
  of
• 6:18
  text
• 6:19
  for
• 6:19
  you
• 6:19
  to
• 6:19
  read.
• 6:20
  This
• 6:20
  is
• 6:20
  what
• 6:21
  they
• 6:21
  do.
• 6:21
  And
• 6:21
  I
• 6:22
  prefer
• 6:22
  it
• 6:22
  that
• 6:22
  way
• 6:23
  most
• 6:23
  of
• 6:23
  the
• 6:23
  time.
• 6:24
  I
• 6:24
  think
• 6:24
  Kingdom
• 6:25
  Hearts
• 6:25
  does
• 6:25
  better
• 6:26
  with
• 6:26
  that.
• 6:26
  Personally,
• 6:27
  I
• 6:27
  think
• 6:27
  the
• 6:27
  voice
• 6:27
  acting,
• 6:28
  the
• 6:29
  voices
• 6:29
  were
• 6:29
  fine.
• 6:30
  It's
• 6:31
  how
• 6:31
  they
• 6:31
  write
• 6:31
  dialogue.
• 6:32
  For
• 6:32
  Kingdom
• 6:32
  Hearts
• 6:33
  3,
• 6:33
  it
• 6:34
  was
• 6:34
  bad.
• 6:35
  And
• 6:35
  you
• 6:36
  know,
• 6:36
  part
• 6:36
  of
• 6:36
  it
• 6:36
  is
• 6:36
  like
• 6:37
  the
• 6:37
  language
• 6:37
  barrier
• 6:37
  and
• 6:38
  part
• 6:38
  of
• 6:38
  it
• 6:38
  just
• 6:38
  like
• 6:39
  stuff
• 6:39
  just
• 6:39
  is
• 6:39
  less
• 6:40
  cringy
• 6:40
  when
• 6:40
  you
• 6:40
  have
• 6:40
  to
• 6:41
  read
• 6:41
  it
• 6:41
  sometimes
• 6:42
  instead
• 6:43
  of
• 6:43
  hearing
• 6:43
  it
• 6:43
  out
• 6:43
  loud.
• 6:44
  Yeah.
• 6:46
  But
• 6:46
  if
• 6:46
  you're,
• 6:46
  if
• 6:46
  you
• 6:47
  want
• 6:47
  to
• 6:47
  talk
• 6:47
  about
• 6:48
  like
• 6:48
  the
• 6:48
  real
• 6:48
  question,
• 6:49
  does
• 6:49
  reading
• 6:49
  in
• 6:50
  video
• 6:50
  game
• 6:50
  count
• 6:51
  and
• 6:52
  you
• 6:52
  want
• 6:52
  to
• 6:52
  think
• 6:52
  about
• 6:53
  like
• 6:53
  text
• 6:53
  based
• 6:54
  adventure
• 6:55
  games
• 6:55
  like
• 6:56
  the
• 6:56
  old
• 6:56
  Lord
• 6:56
  of
• 6:56
  the
• 6:57
  Rings
• 6:57
  game
• 6:58
  Zork,
• 6:59
  the
• 6:59
  answer
• 6:59
  is
• 7:00
  yes.
• 7:00
  Yes,
• 7:01
  it
• 7:01
  counts.
• 7:01
  Yeah.
• 7:02
  Well,
• 7:02
  and
• 7:03
  I
• 7:03
  think
• 7:03
  part
• 7:03
  of
• 7:03
  that
• 7:04
  gets
• 7:04
  eliminated
• 7:04
  when
• 7:04
  you
• 7:05
  think
• 7:05
  about
• 7:05
  all
• 7:05
  of
• 7:05
  the
• 7:05
  benefits
• 7:06
  of
• 7:06
  reading
• 7:06
  that
• 7:06
  we
• 7:07
  like
• 7:07
  to
• 7:07
  mention
• 7:08
  as
• 7:08
  we
• 7:08
  do
• 7:08
  these
• 7:08
  episodes.
• 7:09
  You
• 7:09
  know,
• 7:09
  there's
• 7:10
  keep
• 7:10
  your
• 7:11
  brain
• 7:11
  healthier,
• 7:11
  more
• 7:12
  active,
• 7:13
  longevity
• 7:13
  of
• 7:13
  life.
• 7:14
  To
• 7:14
  me,
• 7:14
  it's.
• 7:15
  It's
• 7:15
  a
• 7:15
  hard
• 7:16
  question.
• 7:16
  There
• 7:16
  are
• 7:16
  provable
• 7:17
  answers
• 7:17
  that
• 7:18
  I
• 7:18
  never
• 7:18
  seem
• 7:18
  to
• 7:18
  remember.
• 7:21
  But
• 7:21
  there's
• 7:21
  never
• 7:21
  been
• 7:21
  a
• 7:22
  time
• 7:22
  where
• 7:22
  reading
• 7:22
  didn't
• 7:23
  make
• 7:23
  my
• 7:23
  life
• 7:23
  better.
• 7:24
  So
• 7:25
  increased
• 7:25
  vocabulary,
• 7:26
  that's
• 7:26
  one
• 7:26
  TJ
• 7:27
  likes
• 7:27
  to
• 7:27
  mention.
• 7:27
  I
• 7:27
  remember
• 7:28
  that.
• 7:29
  I
• 7:29
  don't
• 7:30
  see.
• 7:30
  I
• 7:30
  was
• 7:30
  trying
• 7:30
  to
• 7:30
  think
• 7:30
  of
• 7:30
  a
• 7:31
  good
• 7:31
  way
• 7:31
  of
• 7:31
  wording
• 7:31
  it.
• 7:31
  There
• 7:32
  are
• 7:32
  studies
• 7:32
  that
• 7:32
  show
• 7:32
  that
• 7:32
  like
• 7:33
  Alzheimer's
• 7:33
  can
• 7:34
  be
• 7:34
  not
• 7:35
  prevented,
• 7:35
  but
• 7:36
  postponed.
• 7:38
  Yeah.
• 7:39
  Reading
• 7:39
  good.
• 7:40
  And
• 7:40
  I
• 7:40
  think
• 7:40
  the
• 7:40
  thing
• 7:41
  is
• 7:41
  that
• 7:41
  like,
• 7:41
  for
• 7:42
  me,
• 7:42
  I
• 7:42
  think
• 7:42
  the
• 7:43
  increased
• 7:43
  vocabulary
• 7:43
  is
• 7:43
  a
• 7:44
  really
• 7:44
  good
• 7:44
  thing.
• 7:44
  Example,
• 7:45
  because
• 7:45
  I
• 7:45
  do
• 7:46
  know
• 7:46
  a
• 7:46
  lot
• 7:46
  of
• 7:46
  like
• 7:46
  the
• 7:47
  big
• 7:47
  words
• 7:47
  I
• 7:47
  learned,
• 7:48
  I
• 7:48
  actually
• 7:49
  did
• 7:49
  learn
• 7:49
  them
• 7:49
  from
• 7:50
  Kingdom
• 7:50
  Hearts
• 7:50
  like
• 7:51
  that
• 7:51
  just
• 7:51
  straight
• 7:51
  up.
• 7:52
  That
• 7:52
  is
• 7:52
  a
• 7:52
  thing.
• 7:54
  Yeah.
• 7:54
  So
• 7:56
  with
• 7:56
  that
• 7:56
  then
• 7:56
  I
• 7:57
  want
• 7:57
  to
• 7:57
  get
• 7:57
  some
• 7:57
  of
• 7:57
  the
• 7:57
  history
• 7:58
  of
• 7:58
  reading
• 7:58
  in
• 7:58
  games
• 7:58
  because
• 7:59
  again,
• 7:59
  a
• 7:59
  lot
• 7:59
  of
• 7:59
  people
• 7:59
  just
• 7:59
  don't
• 7:59
  associate
• 8:00
  the
• 8:00
  two.
• 8:00
  It's
• 8:00
  like
• 8:00
  reading
• 8:01
  is
• 8:01
  like
• 8:01
  what
• 8:01
  you
• 8:02
  as
• 8:02
  thoughtful,
• 8:03
  grown
• 8:03
  up
• 8:04
  stuff.
• 8:04
  And
• 8:04
  then
• 8:04
  video
• 8:05
  games
• 8:05
  are
• 8:05
  for
• 8:05
  like
• 8:05
  kids
• 8:06
  and
• 8:06
  to
• 8:07
  shut
• 8:07
  your
• 8:07
  brain
• 8:07
  off.
• 8:07
  And
• 8:07
  it's
• 8:08
  like
• 8:08
  there
• 8:08
  are
• 8:08
  games
• 8:09
  that
• 8:09
  are
• 8:09
  for
• 8:09
  kids
• 8:09
  and
• 8:10
  there
• 8:10
  are
• 8:10
  games
• 8:10
  that
• 8:10
  Are
• 8:10
  just
• 8:11
  shut
• 8:11
  your
• 8:11
  brain
• 8:11
  off
• 8:11
  and
• 8:12
  killing
• 8:12
  stuff.
• 8:14
  I'm
• 8:14
  trying
• 8:14
  to
• 8:14
  think.
• 8:15
  There's
• 8:15
  a
• 8:15
  game
• 8:16
  I
• 8:16
  discovered
• 8:16
  like
• 8:16
  last
• 8:17
  year
• 8:17
  that
• 8:17
  really
• 8:17
  is
• 8:18
  just
• 8:19
  Doom.
• 8:20
  Doom
• 8:20
  might
• 8:20
  have
• 8:20
  some
• 8:21
  like
• 8:21
  high
• 8:21
  intellect
• 8:22
  stuff,
• 8:22
  I
• 8:22
  don't
• 8:22
  know.
• 8:23
  But
• 8:23
  for
• 8:23
  me,
• 8:23
  I
• 8:23
  am
• 8:24
  just
• 8:24
  walking
• 8:24
  around
• 8:24
  blowing
• 8:25
  up
• 8:25
  demons.
• 8:26
  Like
• 8:26
  that's
• 8:26
  all
• 8:26
  I'm
• 8:27
  doing.
• 8:28
  It's
• 8:28
  great.
• 8:29
  Oh
• 8:29
  yeah.
• 8:30
  Doom's
• 8:31
  classic
• 8:32
  good
• 8:32
  times.
• 8:33
  But
• 8:34
  I
• 8:35
  want
• 8:35
  to
• 8:35
  talk
• 8:35
  some
• 8:35
  about
• 8:35
  like
• 8:35
  the
• 8:36
  history.
• 8:36
  So
• 8:36
  like
• 8:36
  old
• 8:36
  arcades,
• 8:37
  they
• 8:37
  would
• 8:37
  used
• 8:37
  to
• 8:37
  have
• 8:38
  like
• 8:38
  on
• 8:38
  the
• 8:38
  side
• 8:38
  of
• 8:38
  the
• 8:38
  arcade
• 8:39
  or
• 8:39
  like
• 8:39
  there'd
• 8:39
  be
• 8:39
  a
• 8:40
  manual
• 8:40
  or
• 8:40
  something
• 8:40
  where
• 8:40
  you
• 8:40
  could
• 8:41
  like
• 8:41
  read
• 8:41
  some
• 8:41
  stuff
• 8:42
  about
• 8:42
  just
• 8:43
  kind
• 8:43
  of
• 8:43
  the
• 8:43
  premise
• 8:43
  of
• 8:43
  what
• 8:44
  you're
• 8:44
  doing.
• 8:45
  Like,
• 8:45
  you
• 8:45
  know,
• 8:46
  Donkey
• 8:46
  Kong
• 8:47
  is
• 8:47
  stealing
• 8:47
  Princess
• 8:48
  Peach.
• 8:48
  Mario
• 8:48
  has
• 8:48
  to
• 8:49
  be
• 8:49
  Donkey
• 8:49
  Kong,
• 8:49
  that
• 8:50
  mean
• 8:50
  bad
• 8:50
  guy
• 8:50
  who
• 8:50
  will
• 8:51
  always
• 8:51
  be
• 8:51
  a
• 8:51
  bad
• 8:51
  guy.
• 8:52
  No
• 8:52
  way
• 8:53
  they'll
• 8:53
  ever
• 8:53
  redeem
• 8:54
  that
• 8:54
  character.
• 8:54
  Yeah,
• 8:56
  I
• 8:56
  know.
• 8:56
  Like
• 8:57
  TJ's.
• 8:58
  My,
• 8:58
  my.
• 8:59
  The
• 8:59
  one
• 8:59
  that
• 8:59
  most
• 8:59
  sticks
• 9:00
  in
• 9:00
  my
• 9:00
  head
• 9:00
  is
• 9:00
  that
• 9:00
  TJ
• 9:00
  informed
• 9:01
  me
• 9:01
  that
• 9:01
  Kirby
• 9:02
  is
• 9:02
  in
• 9:02
  fact
• 9:03
  omnipotent.
• 9:05
  That's
• 9:05
  just
• 9:05
  from
• 9:05
  reading
• 9:06
  something
• 9:06
  off
• 9:06
  a
• 9:07
  game.
• 9:07
  Yeah,
• 9:07
  Kirby's
• 9:08
  like
• 9:08
  absurdly
• 9:09
  powerful.
• 9:11
  Yeah.
• 9:11
  Like
• 9:11
  one
• 9:11
  of
• 9:11
  his
• 9:11
  games.
• 9:12
  Like
• 9:12
  if
• 9:12
  you
• 9:12
  actually
• 9:12
  read
• 9:12
  the
• 9:13
  intro
• 9:13
  stuff,
• 9:13
  it's
• 9:13
  like
• 9:14
  he
• 9:14
  is
• 9:14
  all
• 9:14
  powerful.
• 9:15
  Like,
• 9:16
  wait
• 9:16
  a
• 9:16
  minute.
• 9:16
  What?
• 9:17
  Yeah,
• 9:18
  straight
• 9:18
  up
• 9:19
  all
• 9:19
  powerful.
• 9:19
  Yeah.
• 9:20
  Awesome.
• 9:21
  And
• 9:22
  I
• 9:22
  know
• 9:22
  for
• 9:22
  me,
• 9:22
  the
• 9:23
  first
• 9:23
  time
• 9:23
  I
• 9:23
  started
• 9:24
  associating
• 9:24
  reading
• 9:24
  with
• 9:25
  games,
• 9:25
  back
• 9:26
  in
• 9:26
  my
• 9:26
  day,
• 9:27
  kids,
• 9:28
  it
• 9:28
  was
• 9:28
  before
• 9:28
  Internet
• 9:29
  was
• 9:29
  like
• 9:29
  super
• 9:30
  accessible
• 9:30
  and
• 9:31
  everybody
• 9:31
  knew
• 9:31
  how
• 9:31
  to
• 9:31
  use
• 9:31
  it.
• 9:32
  We
• 9:32
  had
• 9:32
  these
• 9:32
  strategy
• 9:33
  book
• 9:33
  games
• 9:34
  and
• 9:34
  I
• 9:34
  remember
• 9:34
  like
• 9:35
  having
• 9:35
  N64
• 9:36
  games
• 9:36
  and
• 9:36
  I
• 9:36
  think
• 9:36
  even
• 9:37
  some
• 9:37
  Gamecube
• 9:37
  games
• 9:38
  we're
• 9:39
  like,
• 9:39
  I'm
• 9:39
  not
• 9:39
  that
• 9:40
  good
• 9:40
  a
• 9:40
  gamer.
• 9:40
  I
• 9:41
  love
• 9:41
  gaming.
• 9:42
  I'm
• 9:42
  just
• 9:42
  not
• 9:42
  that
• 9:42
  good
• 9:43
  at
• 9:43
  it.
• 9:43
  I
• 9:43
  come
• 9:43
  up
• 9:43
  against
• 9:44
  something,
• 9:44
  I
• 9:44
  don't
• 9:44
  know
• 9:45
  what
• 9:45
  to
• 9:45
  do
• 9:45
  here.
• 9:45
  Then
• 9:45
  I
• 9:45
  end
• 9:45
  up
• 9:46
  getting
• 9:46
  a
• 9:46
  strategy
• 9:46
  game.
• 9:47
  I
• 9:47
  remember
• 9:47
  I
• 9:47
  had
• 9:47
  one
• 9:48
  for
• 9:48
  Star
• 9:48
  Fox
• 9:48
  Adventure
• 9:49
  and
• 9:49
  like
• 9:49
  it
• 9:49
  would
• 9:49
  tell
• 9:50
  you
• 9:50
  how
• 9:50
  to
• 9:50
  like
• 9:50
  beat
• 9:50
  the
• 9:50
  thing
• 9:51
  and
• 9:51
  like
• 9:51
  you're
• 9:51
  reading
• 9:51
  so
• 9:52
  you
• 9:52
  learn
• 9:52
  how
• 9:52
  to
• 9:52
  play.
• 9:53
  But
• 9:53
  it's
• 9:53
  also
• 9:53
  more
• 9:54
  than
• 9:54
  that.
• 9:54
  Most
• 9:54
  of
• 9:54
  them
• 9:55
  were
• 9:55
  packed
• 9:55
  with
• 9:55
  like
• 9:56
  random
• 9:56
  stuff
• 9:56
  about
• 9:56
  lore
• 9:57
  and
• 9:57
  different
• 9:57
  things
• 9:58
  about
• 9:58
  the
• 9:58
  characters
• 9:59
  or
• 9:59
  the
• 9:59
  background.
• 10:01
  Kind
• 10:01
  of
• 10:02
  like
• 10:03
  not
• 10:03
  an
• 10:03
  appendix.
• 10:04
  What's
• 10:04
  the
• 10:04
  other
• 10:04
  thing?
• 10:07
  We'll
• 10:07
  say
• 10:07
  like
• 10:07
  an
• 10:07
  appendix
• 10:08
  for
• 10:08
  now.
• 10:08
  But
• 10:08
  yeah,
• 10:08
  there's
• 10:09
  like
• 10:09
  supplemental
• 10:09
  stuff
• 10:10
  that
• 10:10
  tells
• 10:10
  you
• 10:10
  more
• 10:10
  about
• 10:11
  all
• 10:11
  the
• 10:11
  characters
• 10:11
  and
• 10:11
  what's
• 10:12
  going
• 10:12
  on
• 10:12
  in
• 10:12
  the
• 10:12
  game.
• 10:12
  It
• 10:12
  was
• 10:13
  awesome.
• 10:13
  That's
• 10:13
  kind
• 10:14
  of
• 10:14
  what
• 10:14
  I
• 10:14
  know.
• 10:14
  Is
• 10:14
  there
• 10:14
  any
• 10:15
  other,
• 10:15
  like,
• 10:15
  if
• 10:15
  you're
• 10:15
  thinking
• 10:16
  like
• 10:16
  the
• 10:16
  history
• 10:16
  of
• 10:17
  reading
• 10:17
  with
• 10:17
  games
• 10:18
  that
• 10:18
  you
• 10:18
  would
• 10:18
  want
• 10:18
  to
• 10:18
  shout
• 10:19
  out.
• 10:19
  DJ
• 10:20
  I
• 10:21
  know
• 10:21
  a
• 10:21
  lot
• 10:21
  of
• 10:22
  arcade
• 10:22
  cabinets.
• 10:24
  Not
• 10:24
  like
• 10:25
  Street
• 10:25
  Fighter
• 10:26
  wouldn't
• 10:26
  do
• 10:26
  it
• 10:27
  because
• 10:27
  just
• 10:27
  kind
• 10:27
  of
• 10:28
  had
• 10:28
  to
• 10:28
  learn
• 10:28
  those.
• 10:28
  Mortal
• 10:29
  Kombat
• 10:29
  didn't
• 10:30
  do
• 10:30
  it
• 10:30
  in
• 10:30
  Mortal
• 10:30
  Kombat
• 10:31
  1.
• 10:31
  But
• 10:32
  it
• 10:32
  was
• 10:32
  like
• 10:32
  a
• 10:32
  golden
• 10:33
  era
• 10:34
  of
• 10:34
  fighting
• 10:34
  game
• 10:35
  cabinets
• 10:35
  that
• 10:35
  would
• 10:35
  have
• 10:36
  a
• 10:36
  lot
• 10:36
  of
• 10:36
  the
• 10:36
  moves
• 10:37
  written
• 10:38
  somewhere
• 10:38
  on
• 10:38
  the
• 10:38
  cabinet.
• 10:39
  And
• 10:39
  then
• 10:40
  kind
• 10:41
  of
• 10:41
  gaming's
• 10:41
  first
• 10:42
  foray
• 10:42
  into
• 10:44
  role
• 10:44
  playing
• 10:45
  was
• 10:46
  through
• 10:47
  text
• 10:47
  based
• 10:48
  adventure
• 10:48
  games
• 10:50
  where
• 10:50
  you
• 10:51
  had
• 10:51
  to
• 10:51
  read
• 10:51
  it
• 10:52
  and
• 10:52
  type
• 10:53
  your
• 10:53
  answer
• 10:53
  out.
• 10:55
  I
• 10:56
  know
• 10:56
  mine
• 10:56
  not
• 10:56
  quite
• 10:57
  like
• 10:57
  that.
• 10:57
  But
• 10:57
  I
• 10:58
  do
• 10:58
  also
• 10:58
  know,
• 10:58
  like,
• 10:59
  I
• 10:59
  want
• 10:59
  to
• 10:59
  mention
• 10:59
  old
• 11:00
  Game
• 11:00
  Boy
• 11:00
  games
• 11:02
  before
• 11:03
  portable
• 11:03
  systems
• 11:04
  got
• 11:04
  as
• 11:04
  sophisticated
• 11:05
  as
• 11:05
  they
• 11:05
  now
• 11:05
  did
• 11:06
  and
• 11:06
  the
• 11:06
  sounds
• 11:06
  weren't
• 11:06
  able
• 11:07
  to
• 11:07
  be
• 11:08
  quite
• 11:08
  as
• 11:08
  articulate.
• 11:09
  A
• 11:10
  lot
• 11:10
  of
• 11:10
  your
• 11:10
  old
• 11:10
  Game
• 11:10
  Boy
• 11:11
  games
• 11:11
  that
• 11:11
  your
• 11:12
  kids
• 11:12
  were
• 11:12
  playing
• 11:12
  in
• 11:12
  the
• 11:12
  car
• 11:12
  and
• 11:13
  rotting
• 11:13
  their
• 11:13
  brains
• 11:13
  out
• 11:13
  with.
• 11:14
  Yeah.
• 11:14
  All
• 11:15
  of
• 11:15
  the
• 11:15
  text
• 11:15
  was
• 11:15
  just.
• 11:16
  There
• 11:16
  really
• 11:16
  wasn't
• 11:17
  voices.
• 11:17
  It
• 11:17
  was
• 11:18
  just
• 11:18
  all
• 11:18
  text.
• 11:19
  You're
• 11:19
  just
• 11:19
  reading.
• 11:21
  Which
• 11:21
  was
• 11:22
  honestly
• 11:22
  good
• 11:23
  old
• 11:23
  days.
• 11:23
  I
• 11:23
  love
• 11:24
  that
• 11:24
  stuff.
• 11:25
  Another
• 11:25
  one
• 11:26
  I
• 11:26
  mentioned
• 11:27
  I
• 11:27
  want
• 11:27
  to
• 11:27
  mention
• 11:28
  that
• 11:28
  I
• 11:28
  liked
• 11:28
  a
• 11:28
  lot.
• 11:29
  There's
• 11:29
  a
• 11:29
  game,
• 11:29
  folklore,
• 11:30
  when
• 11:30
  the
• 11:30
  PS3
• 11:31
  first
• 11:31
  came
• 11:31
  out
• 11:31
  and
• 11:32
  there
• 11:32
  was
• 11:32
  voices
• 11:32
  with
• 11:32
  it,
• 11:33
  but
• 11:33
  most
• 11:33
  of
• 11:33
  it
• 11:33
  was
• 11:34
  reading
• 11:34
  it
• 11:34
  very
• 11:34
  much
• 11:35
  was
• 11:35
  meant
• 11:35
  to
• 11:35
  be
• 11:35
  kind
• 11:36
  of
• 11:36
  stylized
• 11:36
  like
• 11:36
  you're
• 11:37
  playing
• 11:37
  through
• 11:37
  a
• 11:37
  book.
• 11:38
  But
• 11:38
  it
• 11:38
  was
• 11:38
  like
• 11:39
  Pokemon,
• 11:40
  but
• 11:40
  way
• 11:40
  edgier
• 11:41
  for
• 11:41
  no
• 11:41
  reason
• 11:43
  and
• 11:43
  not
• 11:43
  as
• 11:43
  good.
• 12:57
  But
• 12:58
  I
• 12:58
  still
• 12:58
  like
• 12:58
  Folklore.
• 12:59
  DJ
• 12:59
  what
• 12:59
  was
• 12:59
  the
• 12:59
  first
• 13:00
  time,
• 13:00
  like
• 13:00
  I
• 13:00
  mentioned
• 13:00
  a
• 13:00
  couple
• 13:01
  times
• 13:01
  for
• 13:01
  me.
• 13:01
  What
• 13:01
  was
• 13:02
  some
• 13:02
  of
• 13:02
  the
• 13:02
  first
• 13:02
  times
• 13:02
  you
• 13:03
  remember
• 13:04
  that
• 13:04
  you
• 13:04
  were
• 13:04
  like,
• 13:04
  wait
• 13:04
  a
• 13:04
  minute,
• 13:06
  Reading,
• 13:06
  Gaming.
• 13:06
  You
• 13:07
  kind
• 13:07
  of
• 13:07
  like
• 13:07
  started
• 13:07
  associating.
• 13:09
  Yeah.
• 13:11
  So
• 13:11
  I
• 13:12
  had.
• 13:12
  If
• 13:12
  you
• 13:13
  were
• 13:13
  like
• 13:13
  a
• 13:13
  Pokemon
• 13:14
  kid,
• 13:15
  like
• 13:15
  I
• 13:15
  was,
• 13:16
  you
• 13:17
  definitely
• 13:17
  got
• 13:17
  a,
• 13:17
  like
• 13:17
  a
• 13:18
  physical
• 13:18
  copy
• 13:19
  of
• 13:19
  a
• 13:19
  Pokedex
• 13:20
  at
• 13:20
  some
• 13:21
  point
• 13:21
  and
• 13:22
  just
• 13:22
  had
• 13:22
  like
• 13:22
  all
• 13:22
  of
• 13:22
  the
• 13:23
  Pokemon
• 13:23
  from
• 13:23
  that
• 13:24
  region.
• 13:25
  For
• 13:25
  me
• 13:25
  it
• 13:25
  was
• 13:26
  Gen
• 13:26
  4,
• 13:26
  Sinnoh,
• 13:28
  Pokemon
• 13:28
  Diamond.
• 13:28
  So
• 13:29
  I
• 13:29
  had
• 13:29
  that.
• 13:29
  I
• 13:29
  had
• 13:30
  the
• 13:30
  guidebook
• 13:30
  for
• 13:30
  that
• 13:31
  game.
• 13:31
  That
• 13:31
  was
• 13:31
  the
• 13:32
  first
• 13:32
  time
• 13:32
  for
• 13:32
  me
• 13:32
  that
• 13:33
  it
• 13:33
  was
• 13:33
  like,
• 13:33
  oh,
• 13:34
  I'm
• 13:34
  reading
• 13:34
  this
• 13:34
  because
• 13:35
  of
• 13:35
  the
• 13:35
  game.
• 13:36
  So
• 13:36
  that
• 13:36
  was
• 13:36
  pretty
• 13:36
  sweet.
• 13:38
  Games
• 13:38
  used
• 13:39
  to
• 13:39
  just
• 13:39
  come
• 13:39
  with
• 13:39
  the
• 13:39
  guidebooks.
• 13:40
  Like
• 13:41
  not
• 13:41
  the
• 13:41
  guidebooks
• 13:42
  but
• 13:42
  like
• 13:42
  the
• 13:42
  manual
• 13:43
  that
• 13:43
  would
• 13:44
  tell
• 13:44
  you
• 13:44
  stuff
• 13:44
  about
• 13:44
  the
• 13:45
  game
• 13:45
  that
• 13:46
  ruled.
• 13:46
  And
• 13:46
  then
• 13:48
  the
• 13:48
  first
• 13:48
  time
• 13:49
  I
• 13:49
  ever
• 13:49
  really
• 13:50
  associated
• 13:50
  it
• 13:51
  though
• 13:51
  is
• 13:51
  like
• 13:51
  reading
• 13:52
  in
• 13:52
  a
• 13:52
  game
• 13:52
  was
• 13:53
  probably
• 13:54
  in
• 13:54
  the
• 13:54
  Elder
• 13:55
  Scrolls
• 13:55
  4
• 13:55
  Oblivion.
• 13:57
  Because
• 13:57
  that
• 13:57
  game
• 13:57
  was
• 13:57
  just
• 13:58
  full
• 13:58
  of
• 13:58
  books.
• 13:58
  Full
• 13:58
  of
• 13:59
  books.
• 13:59
  And
• 13:59
  I
• 13:59
  read
• 13:59
  them
• 14:00
  all.
• 14:00
  Yeah,
• 14:01
  well,
• 14:01
  no.
• 14:02
  Into
• 14:03
  some
• 14:03
  of
• 14:03
  the
• 14:03
  ones
• 14:03
  we're
• 14:03
  not
• 14:04
  gonna
• 14:04
  talk
• 14:04
  about.
• 14:04
  So
• 14:04
  the
• 14:04
  ones
• 14:05
  we
• 14:05
  did,
• 14:05
  we
• 14:05
  just
• 14:05
  did
• 14:05
  a
• 14:06
  few
• 14:06
  that
• 14:06
  we
• 14:06
  wanted
• 14:06
  to.
• 14:07
  We
• 14:07
  put
• 14:07
  a
• 14:07
  vote
• 14:07
  up
• 14:08
  on
• 14:08
  our
• 14:09
  Discord
• 14:10
  for
• 14:10
  members
• 14:10
  only.
• 14:11
  So
• 14:11
  all
• 14:11
  official
• 14:11
  members
• 14:12
  got
• 14:12
  to
• 14:12
  vote.
• 14:13
  And
• 14:13
  then
• 14:13
  we
• 14:13
  put
• 14:13
  Another
• 14:14
  vote
• 14:14
  up
• 14:14
  on
• 14:14
  the
• 14:14
  Facebook.
• 14:14
  We
• 14:15
  just
• 14:15
  wanted
• 14:16
  everybody's
• 14:16
  input
• 14:16
  on,
• 14:16
  like,
• 14:16
  what
• 14:17
  books
• 14:17
  we
• 14:17
  should
• 14:17
  talk
• 14:17
  about
• 14:17
  from
• 14:17
  in
• 14:18
  game
• 14:18
  because
• 14:18
  most
• 14:18
  of
• 14:18
  them
• 14:18
  aren't
• 14:19
  super
• 14:19
  long.
• 14:19
  You're
• 14:20
  usually
• 14:20
  not
• 14:20
  reading
• 14:20
  an
• 14:21
  entire
• 14:21
  actual
• 14:22
  book
• 14:22
  in
• 14:22
  the
• 14:22
  game.
• 14:23
  You're
• 14:23
  reading
• 14:23
  kind
• 14:23
  of
• 14:23
  like
• 14:23
  short
• 14:24
  stories
• 14:24
  or
• 14:24
  stuff
• 14:24
  like
• 14:24
  that
• 14:25
  or
• 14:25
  whatever.
• 14:26
  But
• 14:26
  there
• 14:26
  are
• 14:27
  other
• 14:27
  ways
• 14:27
  games
• 14:27
  have
• 14:27
  used
• 14:28
  books.
• 14:28
  Usually
• 14:29
  it's
• 14:29
  used
• 14:29
  to
• 14:29
  kind
• 14:29
  of
• 14:29
  flesh
• 14:30
  out
• 14:30
  the
• 14:30
  world
• 14:30
  to
• 14:31
  see
• 14:31
  what
• 14:31
  kind
• 14:31
  of
• 14:32
  world
• 14:32
  this
• 14:32
  game
• 14:32
  is.
• 14:33
  And
• 14:34
  one
• 14:34
  of
• 14:34
  the
• 14:34
  things
• 14:34
  I
• 14:34
  most
• 14:34
  remember,
• 14:35
  and
• 14:35
  actually
• 14:35
  I've
• 14:35
  read
• 14:36
  some
• 14:36
  of
• 14:36
  the
• 14:36
  classic
• 14:36
  literature
• 14:37
  I've
• 14:37
  read,
• 14:37
  is
• 14:37
  because
• 14:38
  even
• 14:38
  though
• 14:38
  I
• 14:39
  never
• 14:39
  played
• 14:39
  the
• 14:39
  games
• 14:39
  I
• 14:39
  watched
• 14:40
  people
• 14:40
  play
• 14:40
  BioShock
• 14:42
  and
• 14:42
  BioShock
• 14:43
  had
• 14:43
  like
• 14:44
  just
• 14:44
  stacks
• 14:44
  of
• 14:44
  books
• 14:45
  places,
• 14:45
  and
• 14:45
  you
• 14:45
  would,
• 14:45
  like,
• 14:46
  pick
• 14:46
  it
• 14:46
  up
• 14:46
  and
• 14:46
  you
• 14:46
  couldn't
• 14:46
  read
• 14:47
  the
• 14:47
  book.
• 14:47
  But
• 14:47
  it
• 14:47
  was
• 14:47
  like
• 14:47
  1989,
• 14:48
  George
• 14:48
  Colton,
• 14:48
  and
• 14:49
  I'm
• 14:49
  like,
• 14:49
  I
• 14:49
  need
• 14:49
  to
• 14:49
  read
• 14:49
  that
• 14:49
  book.
• 14:51
  And,
• 14:51
  like,
• 14:51
  it
• 14:51
  got
• 14:51
  me
• 14:52
  interested
• 14:52
  in
• 14:52
  more
• 14:52
  classic
• 14:53
  literature.
• 14:54
  And
• 14:54
  there
• 14:54
  are
• 14:54
  a
• 14:54
  lot
• 14:54
  of
• 14:54
  games
• 14:55
  that
• 14:55
  do
• 14:55
  stuff
• 14:55
  similarly
• 14:56
  where,
• 14:56
  like,
• 14:56
  even
• 14:57
  if
• 14:57
  it's
• 14:57
  not
• 14:57
  you're
• 14:58
  being
• 14:58
  able
• 14:58
  to
• 14:58
  read
• 14:58
  the
• 14:58
  book,
• 14:59
  they
• 14:59
  use
• 14:59
  the
• 15:00
  presence
• 15:00
  of
• 15:00
  these
• 15:00
  books
• 15:01
  to
• 15:01
  kind
• 15:01
  of
• 15:02
  show
• 15:02
  you.
• 15:03
  Yeah,
• 15:03
  it
• 15:03
  alludes
• 15:04
  to
• 15:04
  themselves.
• 15:05
  Yeah,
• 15:06
  it's
• 15:06
  a
• 15:06
  pretty
• 15:06
  cool
• 15:06
  way.
• 15:07
  And
• 15:07
  then
• 15:07
  you
• 15:08
  have
• 15:09
  some
• 15:09
  games
• 15:09
  and
• 15:09
  stuff.
• 15:09
  They
• 15:10
  got
• 15:10
  so
• 15:10
  popular
• 15:10
  that
• 15:10
  there's
• 15:11
  entire
• 15:11
  novels
• 15:11
  about
• 15:12
  the
• 15:12
  games,
• 15:12
  and
• 15:13
  that's
• 15:13
  a
• 15:13
  whole
• 15:13
  different
• 15:13
  thing.
• 15:13
  Like
• 15:14
  the
• 15:14
  Halo
• 15:14
  novels,
• 15:15
  as
• 15:15
  far
• 15:16
  as
• 15:16
  I
• 15:16
  know,
• 15:16
  they're
• 15:16
  not
• 15:16
  in
• 15:17
  the
• 15:17
  game,
• 15:17
  so
• 15:17
  it's
• 15:18
  not
• 15:18
  in
• 15:18
  game
• 15:18
  literature.
• 15:19
  But
• 15:19
  there's
• 15:20
  a
• 15:20
  lot
• 15:20
  of
• 15:20
  Halo
• 15:20
  literature
• 15:21
  out
• 15:21
  there.
• 15:22
  There
• 15:22
  is.
• 15:23
  And
• 15:23
  all
• 15:24
  of
• 15:24
  the
• 15:24
  Halo
• 15:24
  literature
• 15:25
  that
• 15:25
  I've
• 15:25
  read
• 15:25
  is
• 15:26
  pretty
• 15:26
  awesome
• 15:27
  because
• 15:27
  it's
• 15:27
  all
• 15:27
  Halo.
• 15:28
  Yeah.
• 15:29
  I
• 15:29
  think
• 15:29
  Christian
• 15:30
  Ashley
• 15:30
  likes
• 15:30
  it
• 15:31
  a
• 15:31
  lot
• 15:31
  too.
• 15:31
  Maybe
• 15:31
  that'll
• 15:32
  be
• 15:32
  all
• 15:32
  reading
• 15:32
  counts
• 15:32
  one
• 15:32
  day.
• 15:33
  So
• 15:34
  today's
• 15:35
  we
• 15:35
  have
• 15:35
  a
• 15:35
  few
• 15:35
  to
• 15:35
  get
• 15:35
  through
• 15:35
  and
• 15:36
  not
• 15:36
  a
• 15:36
  ton
• 15:36
  of
• 15:36
  time.
• 15:36
  And
• 15:37
  some
• 15:37
  of
• 15:37
  these
• 15:37
  are
• 15:38
  longer.
• 15:38
  They're
• 15:39
  not
• 15:39
  like
• 15:39
  books,
• 15:40
  but
• 15:40
  they're
• 15:40
  longer.
• 15:41
  First
• 15:42
  up,
• 15:42
  I
• 15:42
  of
• 15:43
  course,
• 15:43
  want
• 15:43
  to
• 15:43
  talk
• 15:43
  about
• 15:44
  Kingdom
• 15:45
  Hearts
• 15:46
  whenever
• 15:46
  I
• 15:46
  get
• 15:47
  the
• 15:47
  chance
• 15:47
  to.
• 15:48
  It's
• 15:48
  what
• 15:48
  I
• 15:49
  love.
• 15:49
  It's
• 15:49
  what
• 15:49
  I
• 15:49
  care
• 15:50
  most
• 15:50
  about.
• 15:51
  That's
• 15:51
  not
• 15:51
  Jesus.
• 15:54
  So
• 15:54
  for
• 15:54
  context,
• 15:54
  what
• 15:55
  these
• 15:55
  are,
• 15:56
  as
• 15:56
  you
• 15:56
  play
• 15:57
  through
• 15:57
  the
• 15:57
  Kingdom
• 15:57
  Hearts
• 15:58
  games,
• 15:58
  especially
• 15:59
  the
• 15:59
  earlier
• 16:00
  ones
• 16:00
  like
• 16:00
  Kingdom
• 16:01
  Hearts
• 16:01
  one,
• 16:01
  you
• 16:02
  start
• 16:02
  to
• 16:02
  find
• 16:02
  these
• 16:02
  little,
• 16:02
  like,
• 16:03
  pages,
• 16:04
  and
• 16:04
  it's
• 16:04
  like,
• 16:04
  okay,
• 16:04
  this
• 16:05
  is
• 16:05
  Xehanort's
• 16:05
  report.
• 16:05
  And
• 16:06
  it's
• 16:06
  almost
• 16:06
  like
• 16:06
  a
• 16:06
  journal
• 16:07
  or
• 16:07
  like
• 16:07
  a
• 16:07
  diary
• 16:08
  kind
• 16:09
  of
• 16:09
  deal.
• 16:10
  And
• 16:11
  I
• 16:11
  as
• 16:11
  a
• 16:12
  kid
• 16:12
  never
• 16:12
  read
• 16:13
  them.
• 16:14
  I've
• 16:14
  played
• 16:14
  through
• 16:14
  this
• 16:14
  game
• 16:15
  probably
• 16:15
  at
• 16:15
  least
• 16:16
  a
• 16:16
  hundred
• 16:16
  times.
• 16:17
  Around
• 16:17
  the
• 16:17
  50th
• 16:17
  time
• 16:18
  I
• 16:18
  think
• 16:18
  I
• 16:18
  started
• 16:18
  reading,
• 16:19
  I
• 16:19
  was
• 16:19
  like,
• 16:20
  holy
• 16:20
  crap,
• 16:20
  there's
• 16:21
  a
• 16:21
  whole
• 16:21
  nother
• 16:21
  story
• 16:21
  going
• 16:22
  on
• 16:22
  that
• 16:22
  I
• 16:22
  did
• 16:22
  not
• 16:23
  know
• 16:23
  about.
• 16:25
  And
• 16:25
  they
• 16:25
  do
• 16:25
  some
• 16:26
  kind
• 16:26
  of,
• 16:26
  like,
• 16:26
  trickery
• 16:27
  with
• 16:27
  it.
• 16:27
  So
• 16:27
  the
• 16:27
  first
• 16:28
  game,
• 16:28
  you
• 16:28
  go
• 16:28
  through
• 16:28
  Xander's
• 16:29
  reports.
• 16:30
  Later
• 16:30
  you
• 16:30
  learn
• 16:30
  of
• 16:31
  the
• 16:31
  reports
• 16:31
  in
• 16:32
  the
• 16:32
  first
• 16:32
  game.
• 16:32
  Only
• 16:32
  the
• 16:33
  first
• 16:33
  one
• 16:33
  was
• 16:33
  actually
• 16:36
  Anselm's
• 16:37
  report.
• 16:37
  Sorry,
• 16:38
  the
• 16:38
  first
• 16:38
  one
• 16:38
  was
• 16:38
  Ansem
• 16:39
  the
• 16:39
  Wise.
• 16:40
  The
• 16:40
  rest
• 16:40
  of
• 16:40
  them
• 16:40
  was
• 16:41
  actually
• 16:41
  a
• 16:41
  different
• 16:42
  character
• 16:42
  using
• 16:43
  his
• 16:43
  name.
• 16:43
  Because
• 16:44
  Kingdom
• 16:44
  Hearts
• 16:44
  is
• 16:44
  weird.
• 16:45
  If
• 16:46
  you
• 16:46
  lose
• 16:46
  your
• 16:46
  heart,
• 16:47
  your
• 16:47
  heart
• 16:47
  becomes
• 16:47
  a
• 16:47
  heartless,
• 16:48
  your
• 16:48
  body
• 16:48
  becomes
• 16:48
  a
• 16:49
  nobody.
• 16:49
  There's
• 16:49
  a
• 16:49
  whole
• 16:49
  lore
• 16:50
  to
• 16:50
  it,
• 16:50
  right?
• 16:51
  And
• 16:52
  that
• 16:52
  happened
• 16:52
  to
• 16:52
  Anselm
• 16:53
  the
• 16:53
  Wise
• 16:54
  and
• 16:54
  his
• 16:54
  nobody.
• 16:55
  Or,
• 16:56
  sorry,
• 16:56
  the
• 16:56
  nobody
• 16:57
  of
• 16:57
  his
• 16:57
  apprentice
• 16:58
  who
• 16:58
  was
• 16:58
  named
• 16:58
  Ximnas
• 16:59
  that
• 17:00
  nobody
• 17:00
  took
• 17:00
  on
• 17:01
  the
• 17:01
  name
• 17:01
  Ansem
• 17:02
  and
• 17:02
  pretended
• 17:03
  to
• 17:03
  be
• 17:03
  him.
• 17:03
  The
• 17:03
  love
• 17:03
  of
• 17:04
  the
• 17:04
  reports
• 17:04
  you
• 17:04
  got
• 17:04
  were
• 17:04
  actually
• 17:05
  him.
• 17:05
  Second
• 17:05
  game,
• 17:06
  you
• 17:06
  get
• 17:06
  like
• 17:06
  the
• 17:06
  secret
• 17:06
  reports.
• 17:07
  And
• 17:08
  that's
• 17:08
  when
• 17:08
  you
• 17:08
  start
• 17:08
  seeing
• 17:08
  actual
• 17:09
  Ansem,
• 17:09
  the
• 17:09
  wisest
• 17:10
  reports
• 17:10
  and
• 17:11
  what
• 17:11
  he
• 17:11
  did.
• 17:12
  And
• 17:12
  he
• 17:12
  was
• 17:12
  like,
• 17:12
  okay,
• 17:13
  so
• 17:13
  my
• 17:13
  apprentice
• 17:14
  started
• 17:14
  this
• 17:15
  really
• 17:15
  weird
• 17:16
  scientific
• 17:16
  stuff
• 17:17
  with
• 17:17
  like
• 17:17
  heartless
• 17:17
  and
• 17:17
  nobody.
• 17:19
  Or
• 17:20
  basically
• 17:20
  destroyed
• 17:20
  the
• 17:21
  universes
• 17:21
  and
• 17:21
  he
• 17:21
  just
• 17:21
  goes
• 17:22
  completely
• 17:22
  undercover,
• 17:23
  makes
• 17:23
  to
• 17:23
  the
• 17:24
  dark
• 17:24
  realm,
• 17:24
  changes
• 17:25
  his
• 17:25
  entire
• 17:26
  appearance.
• 17:28
  It's
• 17:28
  a
• 17:28
  whole,
• 17:29
  like,
• 17:29
  scheme
• 17:29
  that
• 17:29
  goes
• 17:30
  on.
• 17:30
  And
• 17:30
  you're
• 17:30
  like,
• 17:31
  you
• 17:31
  wouldn't
• 17:32
  know
• 17:32
  about
• 17:32
  it
• 17:32
  if
• 17:32
  you
• 17:32
  weren't
• 17:32
  reading
• 17:33
  the
• 17:33
  secret
• 17:33
  report.
• 17:34
  And
• 17:35
  actually
• 17:35
  does
• 17:35
  fill
• 17:35
  in
• 17:35
  a
• 17:35
  lot
• 17:36
  of
• 17:36
  the
• 17:36
  gaps
• 17:36
  of
• 17:36
  the
• 17:36
  story
• 17:37
  if
• 17:37
  you're
• 17:37
  doing
• 17:37
  that.
• 17:38
  Birth
• 17:39
  by
• 17:39
  Sleep
• 17:39
  is
• 17:39
  the
• 17:39
  other
• 17:39
  one
• 17:40
  I
• 17:40
  thought
• 17:40
  was
• 17:40
  really
• 17:40
  cool.
• 17:40
  That
• 17:40
  is
• 17:41
  Xehanort
• 17:41
  Reports.
• 17:41
  The
• 17:42
  other
• 17:42
  one
• 17:42
  are
• 17:42
  Anthem.
• 17:43
  This
• 17:43
  is
• 17:43
  Xehanort.
• 17:45
  Birth
• 17:45
  by
• 17:45
  Sleep
• 17:45
  is
• 17:46
  like
• 17:46
  a
• 17:46
  prequel
• 17:46
  to
• 17:46
  the
• 17:46
  other
• 17:47
  games.
• 17:47
  So
• 17:47
  it's
• 17:47
  like
• 17:47
  way
• 17:47
  before.
• 17:49
  We'll
• 17:49
  talk
• 17:49
  more
• 17:49
  about
• 17:49
  In
• 17:50
  Our
• 17:50
  Faces
• 17:50
  behind
• 17:51
  the
• 17:51
  series
• 17:51
  later
• 17:51
  on
• 17:51
  this
• 17:52
  year.
• 17:53
  But
• 17:53
  Xehanort
• 17:54
  Reports
• 17:54
  more
• 17:55
  some
• 17:55
  of
• 17:55
  the
• 17:55
  beginning
• 17:56
  stuff,
• 17:56
  and
• 17:56
  I
• 17:56
  think
• 17:56
  that's
• 17:57
  when
• 17:57
  you
• 17:57
  start
• 17:57
  to
• 17:57
  see
• 17:58
  the
• 17:58
  beginnings
• 17:58
  of
• 17:58
  who
• 17:59
  is
• 17:59
  Organization
• 18:00
  13,
• 18:00
  which,
• 18:00
  like
• 18:01
  some
• 18:01
  of
• 18:01
  the
• 18:01
  main
• 18:01
  bad
• 18:01
  guys
• 18:01
  ofTeen
• 18:02
  March2,
• 18:02
  etc.
• 18:03
  So
• 18:03
  you
• 18:03
  get
• 18:03
  links
• 18:04
  to
• 18:04
  the
• 18:04
  backstory
• 18:04
  of
• 18:04
  the
• 18:04
  bad
• 18:05
  guys,
• 18:05
  get
• 18:05
  all
• 18:05
  this
• 18:05
  stuff
• 18:05
  filled
• 18:06
  in.
• 18:07
  I
• 18:07
  think
• 18:07
  some
• 18:07
  of
• 18:07
  the
• 18:08
  most
• 18:08
  interesting
• 18:08
  just
• 18:08
  random
• 18:09
  stuff
• 18:09
  I
• 18:09
  didn't
• 18:09
  know
• 18:09
  about
• 18:10
  was
• 18:11
  in
• 18:11
  the
• 18:11
  secret
• 18:11
  ports
• 18:12
  for
• 18:12
  Kingdom
• 18:12
  Hearts
• 18:12
  2.
• 18:12
  It
• 18:13
  makes
• 18:13
  sense
• 18:13
  of
• 18:13
  Gummi
• 18:14
  ships.
• 18:14
  So
• 18:14
  in
• 18:15
  Kingdom
• 18:15
  Hearts,
• 18:15
  your
• 18:16
  spaceship
• 18:16
  is
• 18:17
  made
• 18:17
  of
• 18:17
  these
• 18:17
  gummy
• 18:18
  blocks.
• 18:19
  And
• 18:19
  it
• 18:20
  looks
• 18:20
  so
• 18:20
  stupid
• 18:21
  to
• 18:21
  me,
• 18:21
  like
• 18:21
  I
• 18:22
  always
• 18:22
  thought
• 18:22
  they
• 18:22
  looked
• 18:22
  on.
• 18:22
  Some
• 18:23
  people
• 18:23
  love
• 18:23
  them,
• 18:23
  and
• 18:23
  I
• 18:23
  think
• 18:24
  I've
• 18:24
  come
• 18:24
  to
• 18:24
  love
• 18:24
  them
• 18:24
  for
• 18:24
  nostalgia
• 18:25
  reasons.
• 18:26
  But
• 18:26
  objectively,
• 18:27
  I
• 18:27
  think
• 18:27
  they
• 18:27
  might
• 18:27
  be
• 18:28
  dumb,
• 18:29
  perhaps,
• 18:31
  which
• 18:31
  is
• 18:31
  fine.
• 18:33
  But
• 18:34
  if
• 18:34
  you
• 18:34
  read
• 18:34
  the
• 18:34
  reports,
• 18:35
  it
• 18:35
  starts
• 18:35
  to
• 18:35
  make
• 18:37
  sense
• 18:37
  why
• 18:38
  they're
• 18:38
  built
• 18:38
  the
• 18:38
  way
• 18:38
  they
• 18:39
  are.
• 18:39
  It's.
• 18:39
  The
• 18:40
  worlds
• 18:40
  are
• 18:40
  not
• 18:40
  supposed
• 18:41
  to
• 18:41
  be
• 18:41
  connected
• 18:41
  at
• 18:41
  all.
• 18:42
  Some
• 18:42
  of
• 18:43
  the
• 18:43
  worlds
• 18:43
  are
• 18:43
  getting
• 18:43
  destroyed
• 18:44
  as
• 18:44
  they
• 18:44
  do.
• 18:44
  Meteors
• 18:45
  are
• 18:45
  falling
• 18:45
  to
• 18:46
  some
• 18:46
  of
• 18:46
  these
• 18:46
  specific
• 18:47
  planets.
• 18:47
  And
• 18:47
  when
• 18:47
  the
• 18:47
  meteors
• 18:48
  fall,
• 18:48
  what's
• 18:49
  left
• 18:49
  behind
• 18:49
  is
• 18:49
  this
• 18:49
  goo
• 18:50
  that
• 18:51
  becomes
• 18:51
  the
• 18:51
  gummy
• 18:51
  blocks.
• 18:53
  And
• 18:53
  that's
• 18:53
  why
• 18:53
  if
• 18:53
  you
• 18:53
  have
• 18:54
  a
• 18:54
  gummy
• 18:54
  ship,
• 18:54
  you
• 18:54
  can
• 18:54
  travel
• 18:55
  to
• 18:55
  the
• 18:55
  other
• 18:55
  worlds
• 18:55
  and
• 18:56
  stuff.
• 18:56
  And
• 18:56
  it's
• 18:56
  like,
• 18:56
  oh,
• 18:56
  okay.
• 18:57
  Until
• 18:58
  I
• 18:58
  read
• 18:58
  that
• 18:58
  first
• 18:59
  50
• 18:59
  times
• 18:59
  I
• 18:59
  played
• 18:59
  this
• 19:00
  game,
• 19:00
  it
• 19:00
  just
• 19:00
  like,
• 19:01
  for
• 19:01
  some
• 19:01
  reason,
• 19:01
  they
• 19:02
  just
• 19:02
  decided
• 19:02
  I
• 19:02
  need
• 19:02
  a
• 19:02
  Lego
• 19:03
  ship.
• 19:04
  Lego
• 19:04
  and
• 19:04
  gummies.
• 19:05
  The
• 19:05
  same
• 19:05
  thing,
• 19:05
  I
• 19:06
  guess.
• 19:06
  I
• 19:06
  don't
• 19:06
  know.
• 19:06
  Yeah,
• 19:07
  yeah.
• 19:07
  It
• 19:07
  really
• 19:07
  did
• 19:08
  not
• 19:08
  make
• 19:08
  sense
• 19:08
  without
• 19:08
  the
• 19:09
  reading.
• 19:09
  Yeah,
• 19:10
  that's
• 19:10
  like
• 19:11
  Kingdom
• 19:11
  Hearts
• 19:11
  does
• 19:12
  it.
• 19:12
  In
• 19:12
  what
• 19:12
  I
• 19:12
  would
• 19:12
  consider
• 19:13
  to
• 19:13
  be
• 19:14
  the.
• 19:15
  The
• 19:15
  standard
• 19:16
  way
• 19:17
  for
• 19:17
  a
• 19:17
  game
• 19:18
  to
• 19:18
  include
• 19:18
  reading,
• 19:18
  which
• 19:19
  is
• 19:19
  we
• 19:19
  didn't
• 19:20
  really
• 19:20
  have
• 19:20
  time
• 19:20
  to
• 19:22
  make
• 19:22
  you
• 19:22
  experience
• 19:23
  the
• 19:23
  reason
• 19:24
  for
• 19:24
  this
• 19:25
  thing.
• 19:25
  So
• 19:25
  we're
• 19:25
  gonna
• 19:25
  put
• 19:26
  it
• 19:26
  in
• 19:26
  a
• 19:26
  log.
• 19:26
  We're
• 19:27
  gonna
• 19:27
  make
• 19:27
  you
• 19:27
  read
• 19:27
  it.
• 19:28
  If
• 19:28
  you
• 19:29
  don't
• 19:29
  read
• 19:29
  it,
• 19:29
  you're
• 19:29
  gonna
• 19:30
  be
• 19:30
  confused.
• 19:33
  Even
• 19:33
  if
• 19:33
  you
• 19:33
  do
• 19:33
  a
• 19:33
  little
• 19:34
  bit,
• 19:34
  you're
• 19:34
  still
• 19:34
  kind
• 19:34
  of
• 19:35
  convenient.
• 19:35
  Yeah,
• 19:36
  well,
• 19:36
  that's
• 19:36
  just
• 19:37
  because
• 19:37
  it's
• 19:37
  Kingdom
• 19:37
  Hearts.
• 19:38
  Yeah.
• 19:39
  Yeah.
• 19:39
  I
• 19:39
  think
• 19:40
  they've
• 19:40
  retconned
• 19:40
  their
• 19:41
  own
• 19:41
  lore
• 19:42
  several
• 19:42
  different
• 19:42
  times.
• 19:44
  Yeah,
• 19:44
  yeah,
• 19:45
  that's.
• 19:45
  That's
• 19:45
  just
• 19:45
  for
• 19:46
  Kingdom
• 19:46
  Hearts.
• 19:47
  But
• 19:47
  that's
• 19:48
  why
• 19:48
  I
• 19:49
  try
• 19:49
  to
• 19:49
  read
• 19:50
  everything
• 19:50
  I
• 19:50
  see
• 19:51
  in
• 19:51
  a
• 19:51
  game
• 19:52
  because
• 19:52
  I
• 19:53
  don't
• 19:53
  want
• 19:53
  to
• 19:53
  miss
• 19:53
  something
• 19:54
  paid
• 19:54
  for
• 19:54
  the
• 19:55
  game.
• 19:56
  It
• 19:56
  was
• 19:56
  really.
• 19:57
  Actually,
• 19:57
  I
• 19:57
  think
• 19:57
  it
• 19:57
  was
• 19:57
  really
• 19:57
  well
• 19:58
  done
• 19:58
  how
• 19:58
  they
• 19:58
  do
• 19:58
  it
• 19:58
  with
• 19:58
  Kingdom
• 19:59
  Hearts
• 19:59
  2
• 19:59
  because
• 20:00
  it
• 20:00
  allows
• 20:00
  them
• 20:00
  to
• 20:00
  do
• 20:00
  some
• 20:00
  of
• 20:00
  the
• 20:01
  unreliable
• 20:01
  narrator
• 20:02
  thing
• 20:02
  too.
• 20:02
  So
• 20:02
  even
• 20:02
  if
• 20:03
  you
• 20:03
  are
• 20:03
  reading
• 20:03
  as
• 20:03
  you
• 20:03
  go,
• 20:04
  you're
• 20:04
  kind
• 20:04
  of
• 20:04
  like,
• 20:05
  oh,
• 20:05
  wait,
• 20:05
  so
• 20:05
  maybe
• 20:06
  this
• 20:06
  isn't
• 20:06
  bad.
• 20:06
  And
• 20:06
  it's
• 20:07
  like,
• 20:07
  oh,
• 20:07
  no,
• 20:07
  that
• 20:07
  wasn't
• 20:08
  even
• 20:08
  handsome.
• 20:09
  That
• 20:09
  was
• 20:09
  okay.
• 20:10
  This
• 20:10
  is
• 20:10
  just
• 20:11
  a
• 20:11
  whole
• 20:11
  terrible,
• 20:11
  evil
• 20:12
  bad
• 20:12
  guy
• 20:12
  plot,
• 20:13
  but
• 20:13
  also
• 20:14
  allows
• 20:14
  you
• 20:14
  to
• 20:14
  be
• 20:15
  the
• 20:15
  ones
• 20:15
  that
• 20:15
  are
• 20:15
  like.
• 20:15
  Later
• 20:16
  on
• 20:16
  with
• 20:16
  Xehanort's
• 20:16
  reports,
• 20:17
  it
• 20:17
  allows
• 20:17
  you
• 20:17
  to
• 20:17
  be
• 20:17
  a
• 20:17
  little
• 20:17
  bit
• 20:18
  more
• 20:18
  sympathetic
• 20:18
  because
• 20:18
  you're
• 20:18
  like,
• 20:19
  oh,
• 20:19
  this
• 20:19
  is
• 20:19
  why
• 20:20
  they
• 20:20
  became
• 20:20
  nobodies.
• 20:21
  This
• 20:21
  is
• 20:21
  why
• 20:22
  this
• 20:22
  group
• 20:22
  became
• 20:22
  part
• 20:23
  of
• 20:23
  organization
• 20:23
  13.
• 20:24
  They
• 20:24
  weren't
• 20:24
  trying
• 20:25
  to
• 20:25
  go
• 20:25
  out
• 20:25
  and
• 20:25
  become
• 20:26
  super
• 20:26
  villains,
• 20:26
  you
• 20:27
  know,
• 20:28
  and
• 20:29
  just
• 20:29
  really
• 20:29
  add
• 20:29
  a
• 20:29
  lot
• 20:30
  to
• 20:30
  the
• 20:30
  characters,
• 20:30
  a
• 20:30
  lot
• 20:30
  to
• 20:31
  the
• 20:31
  lore.
• 20:32
  And
• 20:33
  it
• 20:33
  allows
• 20:33
  them
• 20:33
  to
• 20:33
  do
• 20:33
  the
• 20:34
  annoying
• 20:34
  retcon
• 20:34
  stuff
• 20:35
  that
• 20:35
  gets
• 20:35
  on
• 20:35
  all
• 20:35
  of
• 20:35
  our
• 20:35
  nerves
• 20:35
  because,
• 20:36
  oh,
• 20:36
  well,
• 20:36
  we
• 20:36
  all
• 20:36
  thought
• 20:37
  that
• 20:37
  because
• 20:37
  we
• 20:37
  read
• 20:37
  the
• 20:38
  logs,
• 20:39
  but
• 20:39
  that
• 20:39
  log
• 20:39
  wasn't
• 20:40
  written
• 20:40
  who
• 20:40
  by.
• 20:40
  We
• 20:40
  thought
• 20:41
  who
• 20:41
  it
• 20:41
  was
• 20:41
  written
• 20:41
  by
• 20:42
  because,
• 20:42
  you
• 20:42
  know,
• 20:42
  you
• 20:42
  Just
• 20:43
  find
• 20:43
  a
• 20:43
  random
• 20:43
  piece
• 20:43
  of
• 20:44
  paper
• 20:44
  that
• 20:44
  has
• 20:44
  someone's
• 20:44
  name
• 20:44
  on
• 20:45
  it.
• 20:45
  There's
• 20:45
  no
• 20:45
  reason
• 20:45
  for
• 20:45
  you
• 20:46
  to
• 20:46
  think
• 20:46
  it
• 20:46
  wasn't
• 20:47
  whose
• 20:47
  name
• 20:47
  was
• 20:48
  on
• 20:48
  the
• 20:48
  paper.
• 20:48
  But
• 20:49
  it's
• 20:49
  completely
• 20:50
  reasonable
• 20:50
  that
• 20:50
  you
• 20:51
  know
• 20:51
  that
• 20:51
  was
• 20:51
  just
• 20:51
  somebody
• 20:51
  else
• 20:52
  posing.
• 20:53
  At
• 20:53
  least
• 20:53
  it
• 20:53
  makes
• 20:53
  sense.
• 20:54
  You
• 20:54
  know
• 20:54
  some
• 20:54
  stuff
• 20:55
  in
• 20:55
  game
• 20:55
  Hearts.
• 20:55
  Does
• 20:55
  it
• 20:56
  make
• 20:56
  sense
• 20:57
  at
• 20:57
  least
• 20:57
  that
• 20:57
  I'm
• 20:57
  like,
• 20:58
  okay,
• 20:58
  I
• 20:58
  get
• 20:58
  unreliable
• 21:00
  narrator
• 21:00
  bit
• 21:01
  can
• 21:01
  follow
• 21:01
  it.
• 21:01
  Yeah,
• 21:03
  yeah.
• 21:03
  But
• 21:03
  as
• 21:04
  far
• 21:04
  as
• 21:04
  like,
• 21:04
  could
• 21:04
  you
• 21:04
  read
• 21:04
  these
• 21:05
  on
• 21:05
  their
• 21:05
  own?
• 21:05
  I'm
• 21:06
  gonna
• 21:06
  go
• 21:06
  with
• 21:06
  no.
• 21:07
  I
• 21:07
  mean,
• 21:07
  you
• 21:07
  could,
• 21:09
  but
• 21:09
  like,
• 21:09
  without
• 21:10
  playing
• 21:10
  through
• 21:11
  the
• 21:11
  game,
• 21:11
  understanding
• 21:11
  the
• 21:12
  context
• 21:12
  of
• 21:12
  like,
• 21:12
  what
• 21:12
  is
• 21:12
  a
• 21:13
  heartless?
• 21:13
  What
• 21:13
  is
• 21:13
  a
• 21:13
  nobody?
• 21:14
  Some
• 21:14
  of
• 21:14
  that
• 21:14
  other
• 21:15
  stuff,
• 21:15
  it's
• 21:16
  probably
• 21:16
  because
• 21:16
  it
• 21:16
  just
• 21:16
  uses
• 21:17
  a
• 21:17
  lot
• 21:17
  of.
• 21:17
  It
• 21:17
  uses
• 21:18
  a
• 21:18
  lot
• 21:18
  of
• 21:18
  nouns,
• 21:19
  assuming
• 21:19
  that
• 21:19
  you
• 21:20
  know
• 21:20
  stuff
• 21:20
  about
• 21:20
  the
• 21:20
  game.
• 21:21
  And
• 21:21
  I
• 21:21
  think
• 21:22
  it
• 21:22
  enhances
• 21:22
  that.
• 21:23
  You're
• 21:23
  not
• 21:23
  getting
• 21:23
  it
• 21:23
  all
• 21:24
  at
• 21:24
  once
• 21:24
  when
• 21:24
  you
• 21:24
  play.
• 21:25
  You're
• 21:25
  playing,
• 21:25
  you're
• 21:26
  learning
• 21:26
  a
• 21:26
  little
• 21:26
  bit
• 21:26
  more
• 21:26
  about
• 21:26
  the
• 21:27
  heartless
• 21:27
  of
• 21:27
  the
• 21:27
  nobody.
• 21:28
  Some
• 21:28
  of
• 21:28
  the
• 21:28
  lore.
• 21:28
  You're
• 21:28
  learning
• 21:29
  a
• 21:29
  little
• 21:29
  bit
• 21:29
  more
• 21:29
  about
• 21:29
  Ansem,
• 21:30
  a
• 21:30
  little
• 21:30
  bit
• 21:30
  more
• 21:30
  about
• 21:30
  Xehanort.
• 21:31
  You
• 21:31
  keep
• 21:31
  playing.
• 21:33
  I
• 21:33
  think
• 21:33
  it's
• 21:33
  helpful
• 21:34
  if
• 21:34
  you
• 21:34
  read
• 21:34
  it
• 21:34
  as
• 21:34
  you
• 21:35
  go.
• 21:35
  Read
• 21:35
  it
• 21:36
  all
• 21:36
  at
• 21:36
  once.
• 21:37
  A,
• 21:37
  it's
• 21:38
  a
• 21:38
  drag.
• 21:38
  It
• 21:38
  is
• 21:39
  not
• 21:39
  like
• 21:39
  an
• 21:39
  exciting
• 21:39
  thing
• 21:40
  to
• 21:40
  read.
• 21:41
  And
• 21:42
  B,
• 21:43
  it
• 21:43
  just,
• 21:44
  it
• 21:44
  lacks
• 21:44
  a
• 21:44
  lot
• 21:44
  of
• 21:45
  context.
• 21:45
  Because
• 21:45
  again,
• 21:45
  it's
• 21:46
  like
• 21:46
  if
• 21:46
  you
• 21:46
  were
• 21:46
  to
• 21:46
  read
• 21:47
  random
• 21:47
  entries
• 21:47
  of
• 21:48
  my
• 21:48
  journal,
• 21:48
  if
• 21:48
  I
• 21:48
  had
• 21:49
  a
• 21:49
  journal,
• 21:49
  like,
• 21:50
  what
• 21:50
  is
• 21:50
  Josh
• 21:50
  talking
• 21:51
  about?
• 21:51
  I
• 21:51
  don't
• 21:51
  know
• 21:51
  what
• 21:51
  the
• 21:51
  whole
• 21:52
  church
• 21:52
  backdesk
• 21:52
  is.
• 21:53
  I
• 21:53
  don't
• 21:53
  know
• 21:53
  what
• 21:53
  Anazow
• 21:54
  is.
• 21:54
  Like,
• 21:54
  these
• 21:54
  are
• 21:55
  just
• 21:55
  words,
• 21:55
  you
• 21:55
  know,
• 21:56
  like,
• 21:56
  some
• 21:57
  of
• 21:57
  it
• 21:57
  might
• 21:57
  make
• 21:57
  sense,
• 21:57
  but
• 21:58
  as
• 21:58
  a
• 21:58
  whole,
• 21:59
  journal
• 21:59
  entries
• 22:00
  without
• 22:00
  the
• 22:00
  context
• 22:01
  are
• 22:01
  just
• 22:01
  kind
• 22:01
  of
• 22:01
  weird.
• 22:01
  So
• 22:02
  I
• 22:02
  would
• 22:02
  not
• 22:02
  recommend
• 22:03
  reading
• 22:03
  it
• 22:03
  on
• 22:03
  its
• 22:04
  own.
• 22:04
  Personally.
• 22:04
  Me
• 22:05
  neither.
• 22:07
  Yeah,
• 22:07
  I
• 22:07
  was
• 22:07
  just
• 22:07
  a
• 22:08
  dj.
• 22:08
  You
• 22:08
  have
• 22:08
  anything
• 22:08
  else
• 22:08
  to
• 22:09
  add
• 22:09
  or.
• 22:11
  Yeah,
• 22:11
  don't
• 22:11
  do
• 22:11
  that.
• 22:12
  Yeah,
• 22:13
  no,
• 22:13
  you've
• 22:13
  played
• 22:13
  some
• 22:14
  Kingdom
• 22:14
  Hearts.
• 22:14
  You're
• 22:15
  not
• 22:15
  like
• 22:15
  a
• 22:15
  huge
• 22:15
  Kingdom
• 22:16
  Hearts
• 22:16
  fan,
• 22:16
  but
• 22:17
  you
• 22:17
  haven't
• 22:17
  read
• 22:17
  these
• 22:17
  before.
• 22:17
  So
• 22:18
  did
• 22:18
  anything
• 22:19
  in
• 22:19
  here
• 22:19
  like
• 22:19
  for
• 22:19
  you?
• 22:20
  You're
• 22:20
  like,
• 22:20
  oh,
• 22:20
  I
• 22:20
  didn't
• 22:21
  know
• 22:21
  that
• 22:22
  most
• 22:22
  of
• 22:23
  it
• 22:23
  because
• 22:23
  I
• 22:24
  don't
• 22:24
  know
• 22:24
  most
• 22:24
  of
• 22:25
  the
• 22:25
  game.
• 22:26
  Yeah,
• 22:27
  that's
• 22:27
  fair.
• 22:28
  But
• 22:28
  you,
• 22:28
  you
• 22:28
  knew
• 22:29
  enough
• 22:29
  though
• 22:29
  that
• 22:29
  like,
• 22:30
  you
• 22:30
  knew
• 22:30
  the
• 22:30
  context
• 22:31
  what
• 22:31
  he's
• 22:31
  talking
• 22:31
  about.
• 22:31
  You
• 22:31
  knew
• 22:31
  what
• 22:31
  like
• 22:32
  a
• 22:32
  hard
• 22:32
  listened.
• 22:32
  Nobody
• 22:32
  was,
• 22:33
  you
• 22:33
  know,
• 22:34
  pretty
• 22:34
  much
• 22:34
  a
• 22:34
  little
• 22:35
  bit.
• 22:35
  That's
• 22:35
  it.
• 22:35
  I
• 22:35
  mean,
• 22:36
  it
• 22:36
  is
• 22:36
  cool
• 22:36
  to
• 22:36
  know
• 22:37
  how
• 22:37
  they
• 22:37
  reach
• 22:38
  these
• 22:38
  conclusions,
• 22:38
  but
• 22:39
  yeah,
• 22:40
  yeah,
• 22:40
  cool
• 22:40
  stuff.
• 22:41
  Just
• 22:42
  my
• 22:42
  kino
• 22:42
  hearts
• 22:43
  bit
• 22:43
  for
• 22:43
  the
• 22:43
  day.
• 22:43
  I
• 22:44
  love
• 22:44
  it.
• 22:44
  But
• 22:44
  it
• 22:45
  is
• 22:45
  time
• 22:45
  to
• 22:46
  Move
• 22:46
  on
• 22:47
  to
• 22:48
  a
• 22:48
  deeply
• 22:48
  moving
• 22:49
  piece
• 22:49
  of
• 22:49
  literature.
• 22:50
  TJ
• 22:50
  knows
• 22:50
  more
• 22:51
  about
• 22:51
  this
• 22:51
  than
• 22:51
  I
• 22:51
  do.
• 22:52
  Tj,
• 22:52
  you
• 22:52
  tell
• 22:52
  us
• 22:53
  a
• 22:53
  little
• 22:53
  bit
• 22:53
  about
• 22:54
  the
• 22:54
  Argonian
• 22:54
  Maid
• 22:55
  from
• 22:56
  the
• 22:56
  Elder
• 22:56
  scroll
• 22:57
  series.
• 22:58
  Mm.
• 22:58
  Mm.
• 22:59
  Well,
• 22:59
  that's.
• 23:00
  That's
• 23:00
  not
• 23:00
  what
• 23:00
  she
• 23:01
  is.
• 23:01
  That's
• 23:01
  not
• 23:01
  what
• 23:02
  she's
• 23:02
  called.
• 23:02
  She's
• 23:02
  called
• 23:02
  the
• 23:03
  Lusty
• 23:03
  Argonian
• 23:04
  Maid.
• 23:05
  And
• 23:05
  this
• 23:05
  is
• 23:06
  the
• 23:06
  first
• 23:06
  thing
• 23:06
  that
• 23:07
  comes
• 23:07
  into
• 23:07
  my
• 23:07
  head
• 23:08
  when
• 23:08
  you
• 23:09
  say
• 23:09
  in
• 23:09
  game
• 23:10
  literature,
• 23:10
  reading
• 23:11
  something
• 23:11
  in
• 23:11
  a
• 23:12
  game.
• 23:12
  Because
• 23:13
  these
• 23:13
  are.
• 23:13
  I
• 23:14
  mean,
• 23:14
  they're
• 23:14
  hilarious.
• 23:16
  That.
• 23:16
  That's
• 23:16
  really
• 23:16
  all
• 23:17
  it
• 23:17
  is.
• 23:17
  It's
• 23:18
  just
• 23:18
  super,
• 23:19
  super
• 23:19
  funny.
• 23:20
  Just
• 23:21
  erotic
• 23:21
  book
• 23:22
  that
• 23:22
  you
• 23:22
  can
• 23:22
  find
• 23:22
  in
• 23:23
  Skyrim,
• 23:23
  and
• 23:23
  I'm
• 23:24
  pretty
• 23:24
  sure
• 23:24
  in
• 23:24
  Oblivion
• 23:25
  too.
• 23:25
  But
• 23:26
  it.
• 23:26
  It
• 23:26
  just
• 23:27
  cracks
• 23:27
  you
• 23:27
  up,
• 23:28
  you
• 23:28
  know,
• 23:28
  you're
• 23:29
  fighting
• 23:29
  demons
• 23:30
  right
• 23:30
  inside
• 23:31
  this
• 23:31
  house.
• 23:32
  Look
• 23:32
  around
• 23:32
  for
• 23:32
  something
• 23:33
  to
• 23:33
  heal.
• 23:34
  Find
• 23:34
  a
• 23:34
  copy
• 23:34
  of
• 23:34
  a
• 23:35
  book
• 23:35
  called
• 23:35
  the
• 23:35
  Lusty
• 23:36
  Argonian
• 23:36
  Maid.
• 23:37
  It's.
• 23:37
  It's
• 23:37
  just
• 23:38
  exactly
• 23:38
  what
• 23:39
  it
• 23:39
  sounds
• 23:39
  like.
• 23:41
  God,
• 23:41
  it's
• 23:42
  so
• 23:42
  funny.
• 23:43
  I
• 23:43
  looked
• 23:44
  up
• 23:44
  because,
• 23:44
  you
• 23:44
  know
• 23:44
  when
• 23:45
  you
• 23:45
  do,
• 23:45
  like,
• 23:45
  the
• 23:45
  beginning
• 23:45
  of
• 23:46
  the
• 23:46
  episode
• 23:46
  to
• 23:46
  try
• 23:46
  and
• 23:46
  do,
• 23:47
  like,
• 23:47
  a
• 23:47
  quote
• 23:47
  or
• 23:47
  something,
• 23:47
  and
• 23:48
  like,
• 23:48
  the
• 23:48
  beginning
• 23:48
  of
• 23:48
  this
• 23:48
  episode,
• 23:49
  I
• 23:49
  read
• 23:49
  part
• 23:49
  of
• 23:49
  something
• 23:50
  from
• 23:50
  the
• 23:50
  unveiling
• 23:51
  for
• 23:51
  Destiny.
• 23:51
  They
• 23:52
  just
• 23:52
  fit.
• 23:53
  I
• 23:53
  really
• 23:53
  tried
• 23:54
  to
• 23:54
  find
• 23:54
  something
• 23:54
  from
• 23:54
  Argonian
• 23:55
  made,
• 23:55
  but
• 23:55
  none
• 23:55
  of
• 23:56
  them
• 23:56
  works.
• 23:56
  Like,
• 23:56
  oh,
• 23:57
  the
• 23:57
  length
• 23:57
  of
• 23:57
  your
• 23:58
  tail.
• 23:58
  Like,
• 23:58
  well,
• 23:58
  I
• 23:58
  can't
• 23:59
  open
• 23:59
  a
• 23:59
  podcast
• 24:00
  with
• 24:00
  that.
• 24:00
  Yeah,
• 24:02
  yeah,
• 24:02
  that's
• 24:02
  it.
• 24:03
  It's
• 24:03
  all
• 24:03
  that.
• 24:04
  It's
• 24:04
  all
• 24:05
  Argonian
• 24:07
  innuendo.
• 24:08
  It's
• 24:09
  just
• 24:09
  really,
• 24:10
  really
• 24:10
  funny.
• 24:11
  For
• 24:11
  those
• 24:12
  who
• 24:12
  don't
• 24:12
  know,
• 24:13
  Argonians
• 24:14
  are
• 24:14
  lizard
• 24:14
  people.
• 24:15
  I
• 24:15
  feel
• 24:15
  like
• 24:15
  that's
• 24:15
  important.
• 24:17
  Yeah.
• 24:18
  And
• 24:19
  I
• 24:19
  think
• 24:19
  Elder
• 24:19
  Scrolls
• 24:20
  does
• 24:20
  this
• 24:20
  so
• 24:20
  well
• 24:21
  because
• 24:23
  it's
• 24:23
  a
• 24:23
  game
• 24:23
  where
• 24:23
  it's
• 24:23
  easy
• 24:24
  to
• 24:24
  get
• 24:24
  sucked
• 24:24
  into
• 24:24
  the
• 24:25
  fighting
• 24:25
  demons,
• 24:26
  werewolves,
• 24:27
  dragons,
• 24:27
  whatever.
• 24:28
  But
• 24:28
  if
• 24:28
  you
• 24:28
  want
• 24:29
  to
• 24:29
  learn
• 24:30
  about
• 24:30
  the
• 24:30
  world,
• 24:30
  there's
• 24:31
  a
• 24:31
  lot
• 24:31
  of
• 24:32
  lore
• 24:32
  in
• 24:32
  all
• 24:32
  the
• 24:33
  Elder
• 24:33
  scroll
• 24:33
  games,
• 24:34
  and
• 24:34
  they
• 24:34
  do
• 24:34
  a
• 24:34
  good
• 24:35
  job.
• 24:35
  Like,
• 24:35
  not
• 24:35
  just,
• 24:35
  like,
• 24:35
  reading,
• 24:36
  but
• 24:36
  in
• 24:36
  general,
• 24:36
  just
• 24:36
  having
• 24:37
  little
• 24:37
  things
• 24:37
  here
• 24:37
  and
• 24:37
  there
• 24:38
  so
• 24:38
  you
• 24:38
  can
• 24:38
  go
• 24:38
  into
• 24:38
  people's
• 24:39
  homes
• 24:39
  and
• 24:39
  kind
• 24:39
  of
• 24:39
  get
• 24:39
  a
• 24:39
  feel
• 24:40
  of,
• 24:40
  like,
• 24:40
  what
• 24:40
  is
• 24:40
  this
• 24:40
  village?
• 24:41
  Like,
• 24:41
  who
• 24:41
  was
• 24:41
  this
• 24:42
  person
• 24:42
  who
• 24:42
  lived
• 24:42
  here?
• 24:43
  They
• 24:44
  really
• 24:44
  flesh
• 24:44
  out
• 24:45
  the
• 24:45
  world
• 24:45
  in
• 24:45
  these
• 24:45
  games.
• 24:45
  It's
• 24:46
  crazy.
• 24:47
  Yep.
• 24:47
  And
• 24:48
  it's
• 24:48
  just
• 24:49
  part
• 24:49
  of
• 24:49
  what
• 24:49
  makes
• 24:49
  them
• 24:49
  feel
• 24:50
  alive.
• 24:52
  Yeah,
• 24:53
  a
• 24:53
  significant
• 24:53
  part.
• 24:54
  So
• 24:56
  they're
• 24:56
  Gonia
• 24:57
  Maid,
• 24:57
  too,
• 24:57
  though.
• 24:57
  I
• 24:57
  feel
• 24:57
  like
• 24:58
  the
• 24:58
  Lusty
• 24:58
  Argonia
• 24:59
  made
• 24:59
  it
• 24:59
  has,
• 25:00
  like,
• 25:00
  a.
• 25:00
  A
• 25:01
  larger
• 25:01
  pool
• 25:02
  in,
• 25:02
  like,
• 25:02
  the
• 25:03
  Elder
• 25:03
  Scrolls
• 25:04
  gaming
• 25:05
  community
• 25:05
  that
• 25:06
  I
• 25:06
  think
• 25:06
  the
• 25:07
  creator
• 25:07
  probably
• 25:07
  thought
• 25:07
  it
• 25:08
  was
• 25:08
  gonna
• 25:08
  have.
• 25:09
  Yeah.
• 25:09
  I
• 25:10
  don't
• 25:10
  know
• 25:10
  if
• 25:10
  they
• 25:11
  assumed
• 25:11
  that
• 25:12
  people
• 25:12
  were
• 25:12
  just
• 25:12
  gonna
• 25:13
  Latch
• 25:13
  onto
• 25:13
  it.
• 25:13
  But
• 25:15
  so
• 25:15
  funny
• 25:15
  though.
• 25:16
  They
• 25:16
  did.
• 25:18
  Everyone.
• 25:18
  If
• 25:18
  they
• 25:18
  only
• 25:19
  know
• 25:19
  about
• 25:19
  one
• 25:19
  book
• 25:19
  from
• 25:20
  the
• 25:20
  Elder
• 25:20
  Scrolls
• 25:21
  and
• 25:21
  it's
• 25:21
  not
• 25:21
  an
• 25:21
  Elder
• 25:22
  scroll,
• 25:22
  it's
• 25:23
  the
• 25:23
  Lusty
• 25:23
  Argonian
• 25:24
  Mae.
• 25:25
  Yeah.
• 25:25
  And
• 25:25
  I
• 25:26
  mean,
• 25:26
  they're
• 25:26
  not
• 25:26
  super
• 25:27
  long,
• 25:28
  but
• 25:28
  just
• 25:28
  kind
• 25:28
  of
• 25:28
  like,
• 25:28
  you
• 25:29
  know,
• 25:29
  a
• 25:29
  guy
• 25:30
  is
• 25:30
  a
• 25:30
  Lusty
• 25:31
  Argonian
• 25:32
  maid.
• 25:32
  They're
• 25:32
  just
• 25:33
  doing
• 25:33
  some
• 25:33
  really
• 25:33
  suggestive
• 25:34
  stuff.
• 25:34
  I
• 25:34
  don't
• 25:35
  think
• 25:35
  it
• 25:35
  gets
• 25:36
  pornographic,
• 25:37
  but
• 25:37
  it
• 25:37
  gets
• 25:38
  highly
• 25:38
  suggestive
• 25:39
  and
• 25:39
  pretty
• 25:39
  amusing.
• 25:40
  Yeah.
• 25:41
  That
• 25:41
  is
• 25:41
  the
• 25:41
  other
• 25:41
  thing.
• 25:42
  You
• 25:42
  all.
• 25:42
  You
• 25:43
  always,
• 25:44
  always.
• 25:44
  The
• 25:44
  books
• 25:45
  in
• 25:45
  the
• 25:45
  Elder
• 25:46
  Scrolls,
• 25:46
  you
• 25:46
  never
• 25:47
  find
• 25:47
  the
• 25:47
  entire
• 25:48
  book.
• 25:50
  You
• 25:50
  never
• 25:50
  find
• 25:50
  the
• 25:50
  entire
• 25:51
  book.
• 25:51
  So
• 25:52
  you
• 25:52
  get
• 25:53
  Lusty
• 25:53
  Argonian
• 25:54
  made
• 25:54
  and
• 25:54
  like
• 25:55
  snippets
• 25:55
  of
• 25:56
  six
• 25:56
  different
• 25:57
  volumes.
• 25:58
  You
• 25:58
  just
• 25:58
  get
• 25:59
  to
• 25:59
  piece
• 25:59
  the
• 25:59
  story
• 25:59
  together.
• 26:01
  Would
• 26:01
  you
• 26:02
  recommend
• 26:02
  reading
• 26:02
  this
• 26:02
  one
• 26:03
  on
• 26:03
  its
• 26:03
  own?
• 26:03
  I
• 26:04
  would.
• 26:04
  I
• 26:04
  would,
• 26:05
  yeah.
• 26:05
  This
• 26:05
  one,
• 26:05
  I
• 26:05
  think
• 26:05
  does.
• 26:06
  I
• 26:06
  don't
• 26:06
  think
• 26:06
  you
• 26:07
  read
• 26:07
  the
• 26:07
  context
• 26:07
  of
• 26:07
  the
• 26:07
  game
• 26:08
  to
• 26:08
  read
• 26:08
  the
• 26:08
  Lusty
• 26:09
  Hargonis.
• 26:10
  All
• 26:10
  you
• 26:10
  need
• 26:10
  to
• 26:10
  know
• 26:11
  is
• 26:11
  Oregonians
• 26:11
  are
• 26:12
  lizard
• 26:12
  people.
• 26:12
  That's
• 26:13
  it.
• 26:14
  Yep.
• 26:14
  That
• 26:14
  is
• 26:15
  the
• 26:15
  only
• 26:15
  context
• 26:15
  you'll
• 26:15
  be
• 26:16
  missing.
• 27:07
  Nice.
• 27:08
  The
• 27:08
  next
• 27:09
  one
• 27:09
  is
• 27:09
  another
• 27:09
  one
• 27:10
  I
• 27:10
  think
• 27:10
  it's
• 27:10
  probably
• 27:10
  helpful
• 27:11
  for
• 27:11
  you
• 27:11
  to
• 27:11
  tell
• 27:12
  us
• 27:12
  more
• 27:12
  about
• 27:13
  because
• 27:13
  I've
• 27:13
  never
• 27:13
  played
• 27:14
  this
• 27:14
  game.
• 27:14
  I've
• 27:14
  read
• 27:15
  the
• 27:15
  letter.
• 27:15
  I've
• 27:15
  watched
• 27:16
  the
• 27:16
  show.
• 27:16
  But
• 27:16
  the
• 27:16
  Last
• 27:17
  of
• 27:17
  Us
• 27:18
  is
• 27:18
  a
• 27:18
  character.
• 27:18
  Frank
• 27:19
  writes
• 27:19
  a
• 27:19
  letter
• 27:20
  to
• 27:20
  another
• 27:20
  character
• 27:20
  whose
• 27:20
  name
• 27:21
  I
• 27:21
  already
• 27:21
  forgot.
• 27:21
  This
• 27:21
  is
• 27:22
  why
• 27:22
  you
• 27:22
  should
• 27:22
  do
• 27:22
  Bill.
• 27:23
  Right?
• 27:23
  Frank
• 27:23
  and
• 27:23
  Bill.
• 27:24
  Yeah.
• 27:25
  And
• 27:26
  my
• 27:26
  understanding
• 27:26
  is
• 27:26
  this
• 27:26
  isn't
• 27:27
  even
• 27:27
  like
• 27:27
  a
• 27:27
  pivotal
• 27:27
  part
• 27:28
  of
• 27:28
  the
• 27:28
  game.
• 27:28
  Like,
• 27:28
  you
• 27:29
  could
• 27:29
  just
• 27:29
  miss
• 27:29
  this
• 27:30
  whole
• 27:30
  side
• 27:30
  story,
• 27:30
  Right?
• 27:31
  Yeah.
• 27:34
  So
• 27:34
  this
• 27:35
  is
• 27:35
  the
• 27:35
  note
• 27:36
  that
• 27:36
  is
• 27:37
  largely
• 27:38
  what
• 27:39
  everyone's
• 27:39
  favorite
• 27:40
  or
• 27:40
  least
• 27:40
  favorite
• 27:41
  episode
• 27:41
  of
• 27:42
  the
• 27:42
  Last
• 27:42
  of
• 27:42
  Us
• 27:42
  show
• 27:43
  is
• 27:43
  about.
• 27:44
  They
• 27:44
  extrapolated
• 27:46
  most
• 27:47
  of
• 27:47
  that
• 27:47
  hour
• 27:48
  of
• 27:48
  television
• 27:49
  from
• 27:50
  knowing
• 27:51
  Frank
• 27:51
  a
• 27:51
  little
• 27:52
  bit
• 27:52
  and
• 27:53
  this
• 27:53
  note.
• 27:54
  So
• 27:55
  it's
• 27:56
  significant.
• 27:56
  It
• 27:57
  means
• 27:57
  a
• 27:57
  lot
• 27:57
  in
• 27:57
  the
• 27:58
  world.
• 27:59
  But
• 28:00
  because
• 28:00
  of
• 28:01
  the
• 28:01
  nature
• 28:01
  of
• 28:01
  the
• 28:01
  series,
• 28:02
  it's
• 28:02
  just
• 28:02
  kind
• 28:03
  of.
• 28:03
  There's
• 28:04
  a
• 28:04
  note
• 28:04
  you
• 28:04
  read
• 28:05
  that
• 28:05
  you
• 28:05
  move
• 28:05
  on.
• 28:06
  The
• 28:06
  world
• 28:06
  sucks
• 28:07
  in
• 28:07
  the
• 28:07
  game.
• 28:08
  It's
• 28:08
  weird,
• 28:09
  too,
• 28:09
  because.
• 28:10
  Well,
• 28:10
  we
• 28:10
  should
• 28:11
  talk
• 28:11
  about
• 28:11
  what
• 28:11
  the
• 28:11
  note
• 28:12
  is,
• 28:12
  I
• 28:12
  guess,
• 28:12
  and
• 28:12
  who
• 28:12
  Frank
• 28:13
  and
• 28:13
  Bill
• 28:13
  are.
• 28:13
  But
• 28:15
  the
• 28:15
  show
• 28:16
  and
• 28:16
  the
• 28:16
  game,
• 28:17
  very
• 28:17
  different
• 28:19
  on
• 28:19
  this
• 28:19
  matter.
• 28:21
  But
• 28:21
  also
• 28:23
  I'm
• 28:23
  of
• 28:23
  the
• 28:23
  camp
• 28:23
  that
• 28:24
  it's
• 28:24
  one
• 28:24
  of
• 28:24
  my
• 28:24
  favorite
• 28:24
  episodes.
• 28:25
  My
• 28:25
  probably
• 28:26
  is
• 28:26
  my
• 28:26
  favorite
• 28:26
  episode.
• 28:27
  It
• 28:27
  is
• 28:27
  a
• 28:28
  really,
• 28:28
  really
• 28:28
  good
• 28:28
  episode
• 28:29
  of
• 28:29
  television.
• 28:29
  You
• 28:30
  probably
• 28:30
  wouldn't
• 28:30
  have
• 28:30
  remembered
• 28:31
  from
• 28:31
  the
• 28:31
  game.
• 28:31
  That's
• 28:32
  how
• 28:32
  I
• 28:32
  know
• 28:32
  most
• 28:32
  of
• 28:32
  you
• 28:33
  were
• 28:33
  lying
• 28:33
  when
• 28:34
  you
• 28:34
  said
• 28:34
  that
• 28:35
  you
• 28:35
  didn't
• 28:35
  like
• 28:35
  that
• 28:36
  part
• 28:36
  of
• 28:36
  the
• 28:36
  show
• 28:37
  because
• 28:37
  it
• 28:37
  was
• 28:38
  wrong
• 28:38
  for
• 28:38
  the.
• 28:39
  It
• 28:39
  wasn't
• 28:39
  really
• 28:39
  based
• 28:39
  on
• 28:40
  the
• 28:40
  game.
• 28:40
  Anyway.
• 28:43
  Frank
• 28:43
  and
• 28:43
  Bill
• 28:43
  are
• 28:44
  two
• 28:44
  survivors
• 28:45
  who
• 28:45
  loved
• 28:46
  each
• 28:46
  other.
• 28:46
  And
• 28:47
  the
• 28:47
  note
• 28:47
  we
• 28:47
  find
• 28:48
  is
• 28:50
  basically
• 28:50
  just
• 28:51
  Frank's
• 28:52
  suicide
• 28:53
  note.
• 28:53
  He
• 28:53
  decided
• 28:54
  to
• 28:54
  go
• 28:55
  hang
• 28:55
  himself
• 28:57
  instead
• 28:57
  of
• 28:58
  falling
• 28:58
  victim
• 28:58
  to
• 28:58
  the
• 28:59
  zombie
• 29:00
  infestation,
• 29:01
  the
• 29:01
  Cordyceps
• 29:02
  virus.
• 29:05
  So,
• 29:05
  yeah,
• 29:06
  it's
• 29:06
  really
• 29:06
  another
• 29:07
  one
• 29:07
  of
• 29:07
  those,
• 29:08
  like,
• 29:08
  just
• 29:08
  little
• 29:09
  moments
• 29:09
  that
• 29:09
  the
• 29:10
  last
• 29:10
  of
• 29:10
  us
• 29:10
  takes
• 29:10
  to
• 29:10
  stab
• 29:11
  you
• 29:11
  in
• 29:11
  the
• 29:11
  heart
• 29:11
  and
• 29:12
  keep
• 29:12
  moving
• 29:12
  on.
• 29:13
  Yeah,
• 29:14
  yeah.
• 29:14
  And
• 29:14
  they
• 29:14
  are.
• 29:15
  They
• 29:15
  were
• 29:15
  a
• 29:15
  couple,
• 29:16
  right?
• 29:17
  In
• 29:17
  the
• 29:17
  game,
• 29:17
  too.
• 29:17
  Yeah,
• 29:18
  yeah,
• 29:18
  yeah.
• 29:19
  It's
• 29:19
  interesting
• 29:19
  because,
• 29:20
  like,
• 29:20
  the
• 29:20
  show
• 29:20
  is
• 29:20
  more
• 29:20
  of
• 29:21
  a.
• 29:21
  They
• 29:22
  kind
• 29:22
  of
• 29:22
  come
• 29:22
  to
• 29:22
  this
• 29:22
  conclusion
• 29:23
  together
• 29:24
  and
• 29:25
  he
• 29:25
  doesn't
• 29:25
  go
• 29:25
  off
• 29:26
  somewhere
• 29:26
  and
• 29:26
  whatever.
• 29:27
  But
• 29:27
  the
• 29:27
  letter
• 29:27
  is
• 29:28
  kind
• 29:28

• 29:28
  like
• 29:28
  a
• 29:28
  screw
• 29:29
  you
• 29:29
  do.
• 29:30
  Like,
• 29:30
  I
• 29:31
  would
• 29:31
  hate
• 29:31
  to
• 29:31
  live
• 29:31
  another
• 29:32
  day
• 29:32
  with
• 29:32
  you.
• 29:32
  So
• 29:32
  it's
• 29:33
  quite
• 29:33
  different.
• 29:34
  Yeah.
• 29:35
  Well,
• 29:35
  there's
• 29:35
  two
• 29:35
  letters.
• 29:36
  Oh,
• 29:37
  is
• 29:37
  there?
• 29:37
  I
• 29:38
  only
• 29:38
  read
• 29:38
  the
• 29:38
  one.
• 29:38
  Yes.
• 29:40
  This
• 29:40
  one
• 29:41
  that
• 29:41
  you've
• 29:42
  posted
• 29:43
  is
• 29:43
  the
• 29:43
  one
• 29:43
  that
• 29:44
  is
• 29:44
  supposed
• 29:45
  to
• 29:45
  make
• 29:45
  Bill
• 29:45
  feel
• 29:46
  better.
• 29:46
  And
• 29:47
  then
• 29:47
  the
• 29:47
  other
• 29:47
  one
• 29:47
  is,
• 29:47
  like,
• 29:48
  very
• 29:48
  artful.
• 29:50
  So
• 29:50
  I
• 29:51
  need
• 29:51
  to
• 29:51
  read
• 29:51
  that
• 29:51
  other
• 29:51
  one.
• 29:52
  Yeah.
• 29:54
  Do
• 29:54
  you
• 29:54
  think
• 29:55
  these
• 29:55
  can
• 29:55
  be
• 29:55
  read
• 29:56
  on
• 29:56
  their
• 29:56
  own
• 29:57
  and
• 29:58
  they
• 29:58
  can.
• 29:58
  They
• 29:59
  can.
• 29:59
  Kind
• 30:00
  of
• 30:00
  depends
• 30:00
  on
• 30:00
  what
• 30:00
  you
• 30:00
  like
• 30:01
  to
• 30:01
  read.
• 30:02
  Yeah.
• 30:02
  If
• 30:02
  you've
• 30:02
  read
• 30:03
  a
• 30:03
  lot
• 30:03
  of
• 30:03
  letters,
• 30:03
  then,
• 30:04
  yeah,
• 30:04
  this
• 30:04
  won't
• 30:05
  surprise
• 30:05
  you
• 30:05
  much.
• 30:06
  I
• 30:06
  feel
• 30:06
  like
• 30:06
  it
• 30:07
  does
• 30:07
  help.
• 30:07
  This
• 30:08
  one
• 30:10
  more
• 30:10
  relies
• 30:10
  on
• 30:10
  the
• 30:11
  context
• 30:12
  than
• 30:12
  the
• 30:13
  lusty
• 30:13
  Argonian,
• 30:14
  at
• 30:14
  least.
• 30:15
  Yeah.
• 30:16
  Yeah.
• 30:16
  This
• 30:16
  is
• 30:17
  just
• 30:17
  a
• 30:17
  big
• 30:18
  piece
• 30:18
  of
• 30:18
  flavor
• 30:19
  for
• 30:19
  the
• 30:19
  last
• 30:20
  of
• 30:20
  us.
• 30:21
  One
• 30:21
  of
• 30:21
  those
• 30:21
  things
• 30:21
  that
• 30:21
  makes
• 30:22
  the
• 30:22
  last
• 30:22
  of
• 30:22
  us
• 30:22
  feel
• 30:22
  like
• 30:23
  a
• 30:23
  real
• 30:23
  dying
• 30:24
  world.
• 30:25
  Yeah.
• 30:25
  Again,
• 30:25
  you
• 30:26
  know,
• 30:26
  that's.
• 30:26
  Most
• 30:26
  of
• 30:26
  the
• 30:26
  reading
• 30:27
  stuff
• 30:27
  is
• 30:27
  just
• 30:28
  really
• 30:28
  flushing
• 30:28
  out
• 30:28
  the
• 30:29
  world.
• 30:29
  They
• 30:30
  do
• 30:30
  pretty
• 30:30
  cool
• 30:31
  job
• 30:31
  with
• 30:31
  it.
• 30:32
  I
• 30:32
  know
• 30:32
  nothing
• 30:33
  about
• 30:33
  the
• 30:33
  Witcher.
• 30:33
  This
• 30:33
  is
• 30:34
  just
• 30:34
  me
• 30:35
  listening
• 30:35
  to
• 30:36
  tj.
• 30:36
  I
• 30:36
  think.
• 30:37
  I
• 30:37
  have
• 30:37
  never
• 30:37
  played
• 30:38
  the
• 30:38
  Witcher.
• 30:38
  I
• 30:39
  know
• 30:39
  almost
• 30:39
  nothing
• 30:39
  about
• 30:39
  it.
• 30:41
  The
• 30:41
  little
• 30:41
  I
• 30:41
  do
• 30:42
  know
• 30:42
  is
• 30:42
  from
• 30:42
  our
• 30:42
  sister
• 30:43
  podcast,
• 30:43
  Page
• 30:44
  and
• 30:44
  Pixel
• 30:44
  did
• 30:45
  an
• 30:45
  episode
• 30:45
  on
• 30:45
  Witcher
• 30:45
  3
• 30:46
  recently.
• 30:46
  Great.
• 30:46
  Sounded
• 30:47
  cool,
• 30:47
  but
• 30:47
  did
• 30:48
  not
• 30:48
  make
• 30:48
  me
• 30:48
  want
• 30:48
  to
• 30:48
  play
• 30:48
  it
• 30:49
  at
• 30:49
  all.
• 30:49
  Like,
• 30:49
  I
• 30:49
  still
• 30:49
  have
• 30:49
  no
• 30:50
  desire
• 30:50
  to
• 30:50
  play
• 30:50
  these.
• 30:51
  Yeah.
• 30:51
  It
• 30:52
  just
• 30:52
  feels
• 30:52
  like
• 30:52
  too
• 30:52
  big
• 30:52
  of
• 30:52
  a
• 30:53
  commitment
• 30:53
  for
• 30:53
  something
• 30:53
  that
• 30:53
  I
• 30:54
  would
• 30:54
  like.
• 30:54
  Okay.
• 30:55
  You
• 30:55
  know,
• 30:56
  probably
• 30:56
  so.
• 30:57
  Yeah.
• 30:58
  But
• 30:59
  the
• 30:59
  Witchers
• 31:00
  started
• 31:00
  as
• 31:00
  like,
• 31:01
  stories.
• 31:02
  Sweden
• 31:03
  or
• 31:03
  something.
• 31:03
  I
• 31:03
  forget
• 31:04
  where.
• 31:04
  Some
• 31:04
  European.
• 31:05
  Ukraine.
• 31:06
  Poland.
• 31:06
  It's
• 31:07
  Poland.
• 31:07
  Polish.
• 31:08
  That
• 31:08
  sounds
• 31:08
  right.
• 31:09
  Yeah.
• 31:09
  There
• 31:09
  were
• 31:09
  novels,
• 31:10
  then
• 31:10
  there
• 31:10
  was
• 31:10
  a
• 31:10
  game,
• 31:11
  and
• 31:11
  then
• 31:11
  the
• 31:11
  show.
• 31:12
  There
• 31:13
  are
• 31:13
  short
• 31:13
  stories.
• 31:13
  It's
• 31:14
  like
• 31:14
  a
• 31:14
  whole
• 31:14
  universe.
• 31:15
  They
• 31:15
  didn't
• 31:15
  start
• 31:15
  with
• 31:16
  the
• 31:16
  games,
• 31:16
  but
• 31:16
  I
• 31:16
  think
• 31:17
  most
• 31:17
  people
• 31:17
  would.
• 31:18
  You
• 31:18
  probably
• 31:18
  still
• 31:18
  think
• 31:18
  about
• 31:19
  the
• 31:19
  games.
• 31:20
  Yeah.
• 31:21
  So,
• 31:22
  yeah.
• 31:22
  The
• 31:22
  Witcher
• 31:23
  is
• 31:23
  a
• 31:23
  series
• 31:24
  of
• 31:24
  Books
• 31:24
  and
• 31:24
  short
• 31:25
  stories
• 31:26
  by
• 31:27
  Andre
• 31:28
  Sapkowski.
• 31:29
  They're
• 31:29
  good.
• 31:30
  Yeah.
• 31:30
  And
• 31:30
  some
• 31:30
  of
• 31:30
  that
• 31:32
  and
• 31:32
  some
• 31:32
  of
• 31:32
  the
• 31:32
  short
• 31:32
  stories
• 31:33
  are
• 31:33
  in
• 31:33
  the
• 31:33
  game.
• 31:35
  So
• 31:35
  my
• 31:35
  understanding
• 31:36
  is
• 31:36
  that's
• 31:36
  how
• 31:36
  you
• 31:36
  find
• 31:36
  the
• 31:37
  Lesser
• 31:37
  of
• 31:37
  Two
• 31:37
  evils
• 31:37
  is
• 31:38
  our
• 31:38
  pick
• 31:38
  for
• 31:38
  this
• 31:38
  one
• 31:39
  is
• 31:39
  you
• 31:39
  literally
• 31:39
  just
• 31:40
  find
• 31:40
  a
• 31:40
  book,
• 31:40
  and
• 31:41
  in
• 31:41
  the
• 31:41
  book,
• 31:41
  this
• 31:42
  is
• 31:42
  one
• 31:42
  of
• 31:42
  the
• 31:42
  short
• 31:42
  stories
• 31:43
  in.
• 31:43
  Yep.
• 31:44
  So
• 31:45
  could
• 31:45
  you
• 31:45
  break
• 31:45
  down
• 31:45
  what
• 31:46
  is
• 31:46
  the
• 31:46
  Lesser
• 31:46
  of
• 31:46
  Two
• 31:47
  evils
• 31:47
  and
• 31:48
  how's
• 31:48
  it
• 31:48
  play
• 31:48
  a
• 31:49
  part
• 31:49
  in,
• 31:49
  like,
• 31:49
  the
• 31:49
  actual
• 31:50
  game?
• 31:50
  Oh,
• 31:51
  so
• 31:51
  it's
• 31:51
  actually
• 31:51
  called
• 31:52
  the
• 31:52
  Lesser
• 31:52
  Evil.
• 31:53
  It's
• 31:53
  not.
• 31:54
  Yeah,
• 31:55
  yeah.
• 31:55
  The
• 31:55
  Lesser
• 31:56
  of
• 31:56
  Two
• 31:56
  Evils
• 31:56
  is
• 31:57
  an
• 31:57
  English
• 31:58
  story,
• 31:59
  I
• 31:59
  think.
• 32:01
  But
• 32:02
  the
• 32:02
  Lesser
• 32:02
  Evil
• 32:03
  is
• 32:03
  one
• 32:03
  of
• 32:04
  Andrei
• 32:04
  Zukowski's
• 32:06
  short
• 32:06
  stories
• 32:07
  about
• 32:07
  Geralt,
• 32:08
  and
• 32:08
  it
• 32:08
  is
• 32:08
  the
• 32:08
  one
• 32:08
  that
• 32:09
  actually
• 32:10
  gives
• 32:10
  him
• 32:10
  the
• 32:10
  name
• 32:10
  the
• 32:11
  Butcher
• 32:11
  of
• 32:11
  Blaviken,
• 32:13
  which
• 32:13
  you
• 32:13
  don't
• 32:14
  actually
• 32:14
  see
• 32:14
  in
• 32:15
  the
• 32:15
  game.
• 32:16
  So
• 32:16
  it
• 32:16
  adds
• 32:17
  a
• 32:17
  little
• 32:17
  context.
• 32:17
  And
• 32:18
  good
• 32:18
  grief.
• 32:18
  Just
• 32:20
  Henry
• 32:20
  Cavill's
• 32:21
  huge
• 32:21
  to
• 32:22
  be
• 32:22
  playing
• 32:22
  Carol.
• 32:23
  Yeah.
• 32:24
  Yeah.
• 32:25
  But
• 32:26
  it
• 32:27
  does
• 32:27
  add
• 32:28
  a
• 32:29
  lot,
• 32:29
  because
• 32:30
  if
• 32:30
  you're.
• 32:30
  Most
• 32:31
  people
• 32:31
  who
• 32:32
  play
• 32:32
  the
• 32:32
  Witcher
• 32:33
  don't
• 32:33
  read
• 32:34
  just
• 32:35
  kind
• 32:35
  of
• 32:35
  in
• 32:35
  general,
• 32:36
  I
• 32:36
  found.
• 32:37
  But
• 32:38
  they
• 32:38
  definitely
• 32:38
  haven't
• 32:39
  read
• 32:39
  the
• 32:39
  Witcher
• 32:39
  stories,
• 32:41
  and
• 32:41
  it's
• 32:41
  cool
• 32:42
  that
• 32:42
  they
• 32:42
  threw
• 32:43
  one
• 32:43
  in.
• 32:44
  It's
• 32:44
  really
• 32:44
  cool.
• 32:44
  And
• 32:45
  it
• 32:45
  adds
• 32:45
  context
• 32:46
  to
• 32:46
  Geralt's
• 32:46
  character,
• 32:47
  which
• 32:47
  I
• 32:47
  think
• 32:47
  is
• 32:49
  sorely
• 32:49
  missing
• 32:50
  for
• 32:50
  most
• 32:50
  people.
• 32:52
  So
• 32:53
  it's.
• 32:53
  It's
• 32:53
  pretty
• 32:54
  awesome.
• 32:55
  Yeah.
• 32:55
  This
• 32:55
  is
• 32:55
  another
• 32:55
  one.
• 32:56
  One
• 32:56
  of
• 32:56
  our
• 32:56
  official
• 32:57
  members
• 32:57
  shows
• 32:58
  on
• 32:58
  their
• 32:58
  Discord
• 32:59
  poll.
• 32:59
  I.
• 33:00
  I
• 33:01
  did
• 33:01
  not
• 33:01
  like
• 33:01
  the
• 33:01
  short
• 33:02
  story.
• 33:02
  Obviously,
• 33:02
  since
• 33:03
  it
• 33:03
  was
• 33:03
  originally
• 33:03
  a
• 33:03
  short
• 33:04
  story,
• 33:04
  it
• 33:04
  can
• 33:04
  be
• 33:04
  read
• 33:05
  on
• 33:05
  its
• 33:05
  own.
• 33:05
  I
• 33:06
  think
• 33:06
  we
• 33:06
  can.
• 33:06
  But
• 33:07
  just
• 33:07
  like,
• 33:07
  as
• 33:07
  a
• 33:08
  story,
• 33:09
  I
• 33:09
  think
• 33:09
  it
• 33:09
  was
• 33:09
  well
• 33:09
  written.
• 33:10
  I
• 33:10
  just
• 33:10
  don't.
• 33:11
  Like,
• 33:11
  we
• 33:11
  did
• 33:11
  something
• 33:12
  bad
• 33:12
  to
• 33:12
  save
• 33:13
  something
• 33:13
  else
• 33:13
  bad
• 33:13
  from
• 33:14
  happening.
• 33:14
  You
• 33:14
  know,
• 33:14
  like,
• 33:14
  he
• 33:14
  basically
• 33:15
  does
• 33:15
  an
• 33:15
  entire
• 33:15
  massacre
• 33:16
  so
• 33:16
  that
• 33:17
  other
• 33:17
  people
• 33:17
  don't
• 33:17
  get
• 33:17
  killed.
• 33:18
  And
• 33:18
  I'm
• 33:18
  like,
• 33:18
  I
• 33:18
  just
• 33:19
  feel
• 33:19
  like
• 33:19
  there's
• 33:19
  usually
• 33:20
  a
• 33:21
  better
• 33:21
  way.
• 33:22
  And
• 33:22
  in
• 33:23
  my
• 33:23
  stories,
• 33:24
  I
• 33:24
  prefer
• 33:24
  characters
• 33:25
  who
• 33:25
  find
• 33:26
  the
• 33:26
  better
• 33:26
  way.
• 33:26
  The
• 33:27
  third
• 33:27
  option.
• 33:27
  That's
• 33:27
  why
• 33:27
  I
• 33:28
  like
• 33:28
  Doctor
• 33:28
  who.
• 33:29
  Yeah.
• 33:29
  That
• 33:30
  doesn't
• 33:30
  happen
• 33:30
  here.
• 33:31
  No,
• 33:31
  there
• 33:31
  wasn't
• 33:32
  one.
• 33:32
  I
• 33:32
  think
• 33:32
  he
• 33:32
  just
• 33:32
  wasn't
• 33:33
  creative
• 33:33
  enough.
• 33:33
  He
• 33:33
  probably
• 33:34
  could
• 33:34
  have
• 33:34
  figured
• 33:34
  something
• 33:34
  out.
• 33:35
  Yeah,
• 33:36
  he
• 33:36
  tries.
• 33:37
  He
• 33:37
  really
• 33:37
  does
• 33:37
  not
• 33:38
  want
• 33:38
  to
• 33:38
  kill
• 33:38
  all
• 33:39
  these
• 33:39
  people.
• 33:39
  Yeah.
• 33:40
  Yeah.
• 33:40
  But
• 33:40
  basically
• 33:40
  the
• 33:40
  story
• 33:41
  was
• 33:41
  just
• 33:42
  one
• 33:42
  guy
• 33:43
  tried
• 33:43
  to
• 33:43
  get
• 33:43
  him
• 33:43
  to
• 33:43
  kill
• 33:43
  somebody.
• 33:44
  He's
• 33:44
  like,
• 33:44
  I'm
• 33:44
  not
• 33:45
  gonna
• 33:45
  do
• 33:45
  that.
• 33:45
  The
• 33:46
  other
• 33:46
  person
• 33:46
  tried
• 33:46
  to
• 33:46
  get
• 33:46
  him
• 33:47
  to
• 33:47
  do
• 33:47
  something
• 33:47
  he
• 33:47
  said
• 33:47
  no
• 33:47
  to.
• 33:48
  He
• 33:48
  basically
• 33:48
  just
• 33:48
  kept
• 33:49
  denying
• 33:49
  offers.
• 33:50
  Then
• 33:50
  he
• 33:50
  realized
• 33:51
  that
• 33:51
  he
• 33:51
  was
• 33:52
  tricked.
• 33:53
  People
• 33:53
  were
• 33:53
  coming
• 33:53
  to
• 33:54
  slaughter
• 33:54
  an
• 33:54
  entire
• 33:55
  village.
• 33:55
  So
• 33:55
  he
• 33:55
  had
• 33:56
  to
• 33:56
  kill
• 33:56
  a
• 33:56
  whole
• 33:57
  ton
• 33:57
  of
• 33:57
  people
• 33:57
  so
• 33:57
  that
• 33:57
  a
• 33:58
  whole
• 33:58
  ton
• 33:58
  of
• 33:58
  other
• 33:58
  people
• 33:58
  don't
• 33:59
  get
• 33:59
  killed.
• 34:00
  Yep,
• 34:00
  yep.
• 34:01
  It's.
• 34:01
  It's
• 34:01
  one
• 34:02
  of
• 34:02
  those.
• 34:02
  Another,
• 34:03
  you
• 34:03
  know,
• 34:04
  point
• 34:04
  to
• 34:04
  Geralt's
• 34:05
  life
• 34:05
  just
• 34:05
  been
• 34:06
  really
• 34:06
  bad.
• 34:07
  It
• 34:07
  really
• 34:08
  sucks
• 34:08
  to
• 34:08
  be
• 34:08
  Geralt.
• 34:09
  That
• 34:09
  also
• 34:10
  sucks
• 34:10
  to
• 34:10
  be
• 34:10
  me.
• 34:11
  Reading
• 34:11
  about
• 34:11
  Geralt,
• 34:12
  I
• 34:12
  didn't
• 34:12
  like
• 34:13
  him
• 34:13
  just
• 34:13
  in
• 34:13
  general
• 34:14
  in
• 34:14
  that
• 34:15
  story.
• 34:16
  It's
• 34:16
  not
• 34:16
  a
• 34:16
  very
• 34:16
  big
• 34:17
  short
• 34:17
  story.
• 34:17
  For
• 34:17
  context.
• 34:19
  I'm
• 34:19
  basing
• 34:19
  my
• 34:20
  opinion
• 34:20
  off
• 34:20
  of
• 34:20
  a
• 34:20
  very
• 34:21
  small
• 34:21
  piece
• 34:21
  of
• 34:21
  literature.
• 34:23
  Yeah,
• 34:23
  Geralt's
• 34:24
  awesome.
• 34:24
  Yeah.
• 34:25
  All
• 34:25
  right.
• 34:25
  Anything
• 34:25
  else
• 34:26
  you
• 34:26
  want
• 34:26
  to
• 34:26
  say
• 34:26
  about
• 34:26
  that
• 34:26
  then?
• 34:27
  No,
• 34:28
  it's
• 34:28
  pretty
• 34:28
  good.
• 34:29
  I
• 34:29
  think
• 34:29
  more
• 34:30
  people
• 34:30
  should
• 34:30
  read
• 34:31
  more
• 34:31
  of
• 34:31
  the
• 34:31
  Witcher
• 34:32
  stories.
• 34:32
  Yeah,
• 34:33
  I
• 34:33
  think
• 34:33
  I
• 34:33
  might.
• 34:34
  But
• 34:34
  if
• 34:34
  they
• 34:34
  make
• 34:35
  the
• 34:35
  game
• 34:35
  a
• 34:35
  lot
• 34:35
  easier
• 34:35
  to
• 34:36
  understand.
• 34:36
  There
• 34:37
  is
• 34:37
  a
• 34:37
  comic
• 34:38
  of
• 34:38
  the
• 34:38
  lesser
• 34:38
  evil,
• 34:38
  though,
• 34:39
  so
• 34:39
  that's
• 34:39
  the
• 34:39
  thing.
• 34:40
  Forgot
• 34:40
  about
• 34:40
  that.
• 34:41
  Probably
• 34:41
  pretty
• 34:42
  awesome.
• 34:42
  Yeah.
• 34:43
  All
• 34:43
  right.
• 34:44
  This
• 34:45
  last
• 34:45
  one
• 34:46
  shocked
• 34:47
  me.
• 34:47
  So
• 34:47
  this
• 34:47
  is
• 34:48
  actually
• 34:48
  somebody
• 34:48
  I
• 34:48
  know
• 34:49
  in
• 34:49
  person,
• 34:49
  loves
• 34:50
  the
• 34:50
  Destiny
• 34:50
  games,
• 34:50
  listens
• 34:51
  to
• 34:51
  our
• 34:51
  show
• 34:51
  and
• 34:51
  was
• 34:51
  like,
• 34:51
  hey,
• 34:52
  wait,
• 34:52
  if
• 34:52
  you're
• 34:52
  doing
• 34:53
  in
• 34:53
  game
• 34:53
  literature,
• 34:54
  you
• 34:54
  should
• 34:54
  talk
• 34:54
  about
• 34:54
  the
• 34:54
  unveiling.
• 34:55
  I
• 34:56
  was
• 34:56
  like,
• 34:56
  sure,
• 34:56
  I'll
• 34:57
  read
• 34:57
  something.
• 34:57
  Just.
• 34:57
  Again,
• 34:58
  most
• 34:58
  in
• 34:58
  game
• 34:58
  literature
• 34:59
  isn't
• 34:59
  that
• 34:59
  long.
• 35:01
  Destiny
• 35:03
  has,
• 35:03
  like,
• 35:03
  Kingdom
• 35:04
  Hearts
• 35:04
  vibes,
• 35:05
  but
• 35:05
  it's
• 35:05
  sci
• 35:05
  fi.
• 35:06
  So
• 35:06
  you
• 35:06
  think
• 35:06
  like
• 35:06
  Kingdom
• 35:07
  Hearts
• 35:07
  and
• 35:07
  Halo
• 35:07
  somewhere
• 35:08
  in
• 35:08
  the
• 35:08
  middle,
• 35:09
  but
• 35:09
  in
• 35:09
  my
• 35:09
  opinion,
• 35:10
  not
• 35:10
  done
• 35:10
  as
• 35:10
  well.
• 35:11
  That's
• 35:11
  probably
• 35:11
  Destiny.
• 35:12
  Yeah.
• 35:15
  But
• 35:16
  cool
• 35:16
  weapons.
• 35:17
  I
• 35:17
  like
• 35:18
  a
• 35:18
  lot
• 35:18
  of
• 35:18
  the
• 35:18
  stuff
• 35:19
  in
• 35:19
  the
• 35:19
  game.
• 35:20
  Again,
• 35:20
  this
• 35:20
  is
• 35:20
  my
• 35:20
  understanding.
• 35:21
  I
• 35:21
  have
• 35:21
  not
• 35:22
  played.
• 35:22
  I
• 35:22
  played
• 35:22
  the
• 35:22
  first
• 35:22
  Destiny.
• 35:23
  I
• 35:23
  didn't
• 35:23
  play
• 35:23
  Destiny
• 35:24
  2,
• 35:24
  which
• 35:24
  were
• 35:24
  the
• 35:24
  unveiling
• 35:25
  trail.
• 35:25
  TJ,
• 35:25
  have
• 35:26
  you
• 35:26
  ever
• 35:26
  played
• 35:26
  the
• 35:26
  Destiny
• 35:27
  games?
• 35:28
  No,
• 35:28
  not
• 35:28
  really.
• 35:29
  Okay,
• 35:30
  so
• 35:31
  we
• 35:31
  are
• 35:31
  talking
• 35:31
  a
• 35:31
  little
• 35:32
  bit
• 35:32
  from
• 35:32
  ignorance
• 35:33
  on
• 35:33
  how
• 35:34
  the
• 35:34
  story
• 35:34
  comes
• 35:34
  up.
• 35:36
  Oh,
• 35:36
  completely
• 35:37
  from
• 35:37
  ignorance,
• 35:37
  yeah.
• 35:38
  My
• 35:39
  understanding
• 35:39
  is
• 35:39
  that
• 35:39
  you
• 35:39
  just
• 35:39
  kind
• 35:40
  of
• 35:40
  find
• 35:40
  them
• 35:40
  and
• 35:40
  they
• 35:41
  got
• 35:41
  updated
• 35:41
  throughout.
• 35:42
  You
• 35:42
  didn't
• 35:42
  get
• 35:42
  the
• 35:42
  whole
• 35:42
  story
• 35:43
  at
• 35:43
  once.
• 35:45
  But
• 35:45
  a
• 35:45
  lot
• 35:45
  of
• 35:46
  Destiny
• 35:46
  is,
• 35:46
  like,
• 35:46
  about
• 35:46
  light
• 35:47
  and
• 35:47
  dark,
• 35:47
  and
• 35:48
  you're
• 35:48
  fighting
• 35:49
  off
• 35:49
  on
• 35:49
  the
• 35:49
  side
• 35:49
  of
• 35:50
  the
• 35:50
  light,
• 35:50
  trying
• 35:50
  to
• 35:50
  fend
• 35:51
  off
• 35:51
  the
• 35:51
  dark,
• 35:51
  whatever.
• 35:52
  And
• 35:52
  one
• 35:52
  of
• 35:52
  the
• 35:53
  beings
• 35:53
  of
• 35:53
  darkness
• 35:53
  is
• 35:53
  who
• 35:54
  kind
• 35:54
  of
• 35:54
  gives
• 35:54
  you
• 35:54
  this
• 35:54
  parable
• 35:55
  of,
• 35:55
  like,
• 35:55
  is
• 35:56
  dark
• 35:56
  actually
• 35:57
  bad
• 35:57
  or
• 35:58
  do
• 35:58
  you
• 35:58
  need
• 35:58
  to
• 35:58
  prune
• 35:59
  sometimes?
• 35:59
  Is
• 36:00
  that
• 36:00
  actually
• 36:00
  just
• 36:00
  necessary?
• 36:02
  Kind
• 36:02
  of
• 36:02
  like
• 36:02
  what
• 36:02
  was
• 36:02
  being
• 36:03
  posed
• 36:03
  by
• 36:03
  delivering
• 36:04
  these
• 36:04
  short
• 36:04
  stories.
• 36:05
  So
• 36:05
  the
• 36:05
  unveiling
• 36:06
  is
• 36:06
  kind
• 36:06
  of
• 36:06
  like
• 36:07
  a
• 36:07
  series
• 36:09
  of
• 36:09
  short
• 36:09
  stories
• 36:09
  that
• 36:10
  compile
• 36:11
  together
• 36:11
  to
• 36:11
  make
• 36:11
  a
• 36:11
  full
• 36:11
  parable?
• 36:12
  I
• 36:12
  guess
• 36:13
  would
• 36:13
  be
• 36:13
  the
• 36:13
  fair
• 36:14
  way
• 36:14
  of
• 36:14
  saying
• 36:14
  that.
• 36:15
  Yeah.
• 36:15
  So
• 36:16
  I
• 36:16
  don't
• 36:16
  know.
• 36:17
  So
• 36:17
  it's
• 36:17
  the
• 36:17
  gardener
• 36:18
  and
• 36:18
  the
• 36:18
  Winnower
• 36:19
  is
• 36:19
  kind
• 36:19
  of
• 36:19
  the
• 36:20
  characters
• 36:20
  of
• 36:20
  the
• 36:20
  parable.
• 36:22
  And
• 36:22
  it
• 36:22
  starts
• 36:22
  off
• 36:23
  with
• 36:23
  kind
• 36:23
  of
• 36:23
  this
• 36:23
  whole
• 36:25
  proposition
• 36:26
  of
• 36:28
  is
• 36:28
  it
• 36:28
  evil
• 36:29
  if
• 36:29
  everything's
• 36:30
  getting.
• 36:31
  Basically
• 36:31
  everything's
• 36:32
  getting
• 36:32
  created.
• 36:33
  In
• 36:33
  order
• 36:33
  for
• 36:34
  five
• 36:34
  things
• 36:34
  to
• 36:34
  be
• 36:34
  alive,
• 36:35
  two
• 36:35
  things
• 36:36
  have
• 36:36
  to
• 36:36
  die.
• 36:37
  Kind
• 36:37
  of
• 36:37
  is
• 36:38
  the
• 36:38
  ideal.
• 36:38
  Things
• 36:39
  aren't
• 36:39
  sufficient
• 36:40
  on
• 36:40
  their
• 36:40
  own,
• 36:41
  so
• 36:41
  death
• 36:41
  has
• 36:41
  to
• 36:42
  happen
• 36:42
  for
• 36:42
  life
• 36:42
  to
• 36:42
  continue.
• 36:44
  Thus
• 36:44
  is
• 36:45
  it
• 36:45
  really
• 36:45
  evil
• 36:46
  if
• 36:46
  someone
• 36:46
  is
• 36:47
  causing
• 36:47
  some
• 36:48
  of
• 36:48
  those
• 36:48
  death
• 36:49
  because
• 36:49
  he's
• 36:49
  trying
• 36:50
  to
• 36:50
  create
• 36:50
  life?
• 36:51
  And
• 36:51
  that's
• 36:51
  when
• 36:51
  you
• 36:51
  get
• 36:51
  this,
• 36:52
  the
• 36:52
  winner,
• 36:53
  the
• 36:53
  Winnower
• 36:54
  and
• 36:54
  the
• 36:54
  Gardener
• 36:55
  characters.
• 36:56
  So
• 36:56
  first
• 36:56
  it
• 36:56
  gets
• 36:56
  kind
• 36:56
  of
• 36:57
  poised
• 36:58
  as
• 36:58
  kind
• 36:58
  of
• 36:58
  like
• 36:58
  a
• 36:59
  game.
• 37:00
  And
• 37:00
  then
• 37:00
  you
• 37:00
  see
• 37:01
  the
• 37:01
  Gardener
• 37:01
  and
• 37:02
  the
• 37:02
  Winnower.
• 37:03
  The
• 37:03
  gardener
• 37:03
  is
• 37:03
  trying
• 37:03
  to
• 37:04
  plant.
• 37:04
  The
• 37:04
  Winnower
• 37:04
  is
• 37:05
  going
• 37:05
  through
• 37:06
  and
• 37:06
  taking
• 37:06
  stuff
• 37:07
  out
• 37:07
  so
• 37:07
  that
• 37:07
  things
• 37:08
  that
• 37:08
  are
• 37:08
  planted
• 37:08
  can
• 37:09
  grow
• 37:09
  efficiently.
• 37:10
  Then
• 37:10
  you
• 37:10
  have
• 37:11
  what's
• 37:11
  called
• 37:11
  the
• 37:11
  flower
• 37:12
  game.
• 37:13
  And
• 37:13
  it's
• 37:14
  a
• 37:14
  set
• 37:14
  of
• 37:14
  rules.
• 37:15
  Okay,
• 37:15
  So
• 37:15
  a
• 37:16
  living
• 37:16
  flower
• 37:16
  with
• 37:17
  less
• 37:17
  than
• 37:17
  two
• 37:17
  living
• 37:18
  neighbors
• 37:18
  is
• 37:19
  cut
• 37:19
  off
• 37:19
  and
• 37:19
  dies.
• 37:20
  A
• 37:20
  living
• 37:20
  flower
• 37:20
  with
• 37:21
  two
• 37:21
  or
• 37:21
  three
• 37:21
  living
• 37:21
  neighbors
• 37:22
  is
• 37:22
  connected.
• 37:22
  It
• 37:23
  lives.
• 37:23
  A
• 37:24
  living
• 37:24
  flower
• 37:24
  with
• 37:24
  more
• 37:25
  than
• 37:25
  three
• 37:26
  starves,
• 37:26
  because
• 37:27
  it's
• 37:27
  overcrowded
• 37:27
  and
• 37:28
  it
• 37:28
  dies,
• 37:28
  we
• 37:28
  have
• 37:28
  the
• 37:29
  Thanos
• 37:29
  problem.
• 37:29
  So
• 37:30
  you
• 37:30
  need
• 37:30
  exactly
• 37:30
  two
• 37:31
  or
• 37:31
  three
• 37:31
  neighbors
• 37:32
  for
• 37:32
  flowers
• 37:32
  to
• 37:32
  live
• 37:33
  anymore.
• 37:33
  They're
• 37:33
  overcrowded,
• 37:34
  they
• 37:34
  die.
• 37:34
  Any
• 37:35
  less,
• 37:36
  they
• 37:36
  don't
• 37:36
  have
• 37:36
  what
• 37:36
  they
• 37:37
  need
• 37:37
  to
• 37:37
  survive.
• 37:38
  You
• 37:38
  know,
• 37:38
  I'm
• 37:38
  not
• 37:38
  going
• 37:39
  to
• 37:39
  go
• 37:39
  through
• 37:39
  the
• 37:39
  entire
• 37:39
  parable,
• 37:40
  but
• 37:40
  it's
• 37:40
  given
• 37:40
  like
• 37:40
  five
• 37:41
  or
• 37:41
  six
• 37:41
  parts,
• 37:41
  I
• 37:42
  think.
• 37:42
  And
• 37:43
  I
• 37:43
  thought
• 37:44
  it
• 37:44
  was
• 37:44
  done
• 37:44
  really
• 37:44
  well.
• 37:46
  It
• 37:46
  was
• 37:46
  interesting
• 37:47
  that
• 37:47
  that's
• 37:47
  kind
• 37:47
  of
• 37:48
  how
• 37:48
  the
• 37:48
  darkness
• 37:49
  positions
• 37:50
  everything
• 37:50
  to
• 37:50
  the
• 37:51
  end.
• 37:51
  Go.
• 37:52
  Okay,
• 37:52
  so
• 37:52
  who's
• 37:53
  right?
• 37:53
  The
• 37:53
  gardener
• 37:53
  or
• 37:53
  the
• 37:53
  Winnower?
• 37:54
  The
• 37:54
  planter
• 37:54
  or
• 37:54
  the
• 37:55
  one
• 37:55
  keeping
• 37:55
  up
• 37:56
  the
• 37:56
  rules
• 37:56
  of
• 37:56
  the
• 37:56
  game
• 37:56
  so
• 37:57
  that
• 37:57
  things
• 37:57
  can
• 37:57
  live?
• 37:58
  Yeah,
• 37:59
  I
• 37:59
  like
• 38:00
  Bungie
• 38:00
  is
• 38:01
  able
• 38:01
  to
• 38:01
  do
• 38:01
  that
• 38:02
  pretty
• 38:02
  often,
• 38:03
  I
• 38:03
  feel
• 38:03
  like
• 38:04
  is
• 38:04
  right.
• 38:04
  Like
• 38:04
  a
• 38:04
  good
• 38:05
  morally
• 38:06
  gray
• 38:06
  conundrum.
• 38:07
  I
• 38:08
  wish
• 38:08
  Bungie
• 38:10
  still
• 38:10
  did
• 38:10
  that
• 38:11
  kind
• 38:11
  of
• 38:11
  thing.
• 38:12
  Even
• 38:12
  at
• 38:12
  the
• 38:12
  time
• 38:13
  of
• 38:13
  Destiny
• 38:14
  2,
• 38:14
  it
• 38:14
  was.
• 38:14
  It
• 38:15
  was
• 38:15
  pretty
• 38:15
  rare
• 38:15
  for
• 38:15
  them
• 38:15
  to
• 38:16
  care
• 38:17
  this
• 38:17
  much,
• 38:18
  if
• 38:18
  that
• 38:18
  makes
• 38:19
  sense.
• 38:20
  It
• 38:20
  just,
• 38:20
  to
• 38:21
  me
• 38:21
  personally,
• 38:22
  like,
• 38:22
  the
• 38:22
  world
• 38:23
  of
• 38:23
  Destiny
• 38:23
  is
• 38:23
  cool.
• 38:24
  The
• 38:24
  concepts
• 38:25
  are
• 38:25
  cool.
• 38:26
  It's
• 38:27
  just
• 38:27
  a
• 38:27
  far
• 38:27
  cry
• 38:28
  and
• 38:28
  it's
• 38:29
  not
• 38:29
  far
• 38:29
  cry
• 38:30
  from
• 38:32
  the
• 38:32
  peak
• 38:32
  of
• 38:33
  Bungie
• 38:33
  as
• 38:33
  a
• 38:34
  studio,
• 38:34
  which
• 38:34
  is,
• 38:34
  of
• 38:35
  course
• 38:36
  Halo
• 38:36
  2.
• 38:37
  I
• 38:37
  still
• 38:37
  don't
• 38:38
  like
• 38:38
  Halo.
• 38:39
  Yeah.
• 38:39
  That's
• 38:40
  why
• 38:40
  I'm
• 38:40
  called
• 38:40
  Josh
• 38:40
  with
• 38:40
  the
• 38:41
  bad
• 38:41
  opinions,
• 38:41
  if
• 38:41
  anyone's
• 38:42
  wondering.
• 38:43
  Yeah.
• 38:43
  But
• 38:45
  yeah.
• 38:45
  As
• 38:45
  far
• 38:45
  as
• 38:46
  this
• 38:46
  literature
• 38:46
  goes
• 38:46
  though,
• 38:47
  I
• 38:47
  think
• 38:47
  I
• 38:47
  would
• 38:48
  love
• 38:48
  more
• 38:48
  people
• 38:48
  to
• 38:49
  read
• 38:49
  this
• 38:49
  actually.
• 38:50
  Even
• 38:50
  though
• 38:50
  Destiny
• 38:51
  for
• 38:51
  me
• 38:51
  was
• 38:51
  an
• 38:51
  okay
• 38:52
  game
• 38:53
  this
• 38:54
  parable,
• 38:54
  like
• 38:54
  reading
• 38:55
  this,
• 38:55
  like
• 38:56
  top
• 38:56
  to
• 38:56
  bottom,
• 38:57
  I'm
• 38:57
  like,
• 38:57
  I
• 38:57
  want
• 38:58
  to
• 38:58
  talk
• 38:58
  to
• 38:58
  people
• 38:58
  about
• 38:59
  this.
• 38:59
  It
• 38:59
  would
• 38:59
  be
• 38:59
  kind
• 38:59
  of
• 38:59
  cool
• 38:59
  if
• 38:59
  more
• 39:00
  people
• 39:00
  read
• 39:00
  this
• 39:01
  on
• 39:01
  its
• 39:01
  own.
• 39:01
  This
• 39:02
  one
• 39:02
  to
• 39:03
  me
• 39:03
  stands
• 39:03
  up
• 39:03
  more
• 39:04
  than
• 39:04
  even
• 39:05
  the
• 39:05
  one
• 39:05
  that
• 39:05
  actually
• 39:06
  was
• 39:06
  a
• 39:06
  short
• 39:06
  story.
• 39:07
  Like,
• 39:07
  I
• 39:08
  think
• 39:08
  this
• 39:08
  stands
• 39:08
  up
• 39:09
  perfectly.
• 39:09
  Yeah,
• 39:10
  it's
• 39:10
  really
• 39:10
  thought
• 39:10
  provoking.
• 39:12
  Great
• 39:12
  literature.
• 39:13
  Enough
• 39:13
  to
• 39:13
  make
• 39:13
  me
• 39:14
  want
• 39:14
  to
• 39:14
  play
• 39:14
  the
• 39:14
  games.
• 39:14
  Just
• 39:15
  because
• 39:15
  I'm
• 39:15
  like,
• 39:15
  okay,
• 39:15
  so
• 39:15
  they're
• 39:16
  doing
• 39:16
  some
• 39:16
  interesting
• 39:17
  things
• 39:17
  like
• 39:18
  philosophy
• 39:18
  and
• 39:19
  stuff
• 39:19
  in
• 39:19
  this
• 39:19
  game.
• 39:20
  I
• 39:20
  kind
• 39:20
  of
• 39:20
  want
• 39:20
  to
• 39:20
  know
• 39:20
  more,
• 39:23
  which
• 39:23
  I
• 39:23
  think
• 39:23
  the
• 39:23
  opposite
• 39:24
  was
• 39:24
  supposed
• 39:24
  to
• 39:24
  happen.
• 39:24
  I
• 39:24
  was
• 39:24
  supposed
• 39:25
  to
• 39:25
  play
• 39:25
  the
• 39:25
  game
• 39:25
  and
• 39:25
  that's
• 39:26
  gonna
• 39:26
  make
• 39:26
  me
• 39:26
  want
• 39:26
  to
• 39:26
  know
• 39:27
  more
• 39:27
  than
• 39:27
  read.
• 39:27
  But
• 39:28
  instead
• 39:28
  I
• 39:28
  read
• 39:28
  it
• 39:28
  now
• 39:29
  I'm
• 39:29
  like,
• 39:29
  I
• 39:29
  kind
• 39:29
  of
• 39:29
  wish
• 39:29
  I
• 39:29
  could
• 39:30
  play
• 39:30
  that.
• 39:31
  Yeah.
• 39:31
  Yeah.
• 39:32
  Anyway,
• 39:35
  so
• 39:35
  those
• 39:36
  are
• 39:36
  our
• 39:36
  five
• 39:36
  choices.
• 39:36
  We
• 39:37
  have
• 39:37
  one
• 39:37
  more
• 39:37
  pick
• 39:37
  we're
• 39:37
  going
• 39:37
  to
• 39:37
  be
• 39:38
  doing.
• 39:38
  For
• 39:38
  bonus
• 39:39
  for
• 39:39
  listeners
• 39:39
  down
• 39:39
  below,
• 39:40
  we're
• 39:40
  going
• 39:40
  to
• 39:40
  talk
• 39:40
  a
• 39:40
  little
• 39:41
  bit
• 39:41
  about
• 39:41
  Grognog
• 39:42
  the
• 39:42
  Barbarian
• 39:42
  from
• 39:42
  the
• 39:42
  Fallout
• 39:43
  series.
• 39:44
  Before
• 39:44
  we
• 39:44
  do
• 39:44
  though,
• 39:45
  one
• 39:46
  of
• 39:46
  the
• 39:46
  things
• 39:46
  that
• 39:46
  this
• 39:47
  sparked
• 39:47
  for
• 39:47
  me
• 39:48
  is
• 39:48
  just
• 39:48
  kind
• 39:48
  of
• 39:48
  remembering
• 39:48
  the
• 39:49
  importance
• 39:49
  of
• 39:49
  taking
• 39:49
  those
• 39:50
  little
• 39:50
  moments
• 39:50
  to
• 39:51
  read.
• 39:51
  Whether
• 39:51
  it's
• 39:52
  like
• 39:52
  I
• 39:52
  collected
• 39:52
  an
• 39:53
  answer
• 39:53
  report
• 39:53
  in
• 39:53
  the
• 39:53
  game
• 39:54
  or
• 39:55
  something
• 39:55
  I
• 39:55
  used
• 39:55
  to
• 39:55
  do
• 39:55
  a
• 39:55
  lot
• 39:55
  is
• 39:56
  like,
• 39:56
  I'm
• 39:57
  waiting
• 39:57
  in
• 39:57
  line
• 39:57
  or
• 39:57
  in
• 39:57
  a
• 39:58
  bathroom.
• 39:58
  I
• 39:58
  like
• 39:58
  always
• 39:59
  had
• 39:59
  my
• 39:59
  Bible
• 39:59
  on
• 39:59
  me
• 39:59
  and
• 40:00
  I'm
• 40:00
  just
• 40:00
  reading
• 40:00
  stuff
• 40:00
  out
• 40:00
  of
• 40:00
  my
• 40:01
  Bible.
• 40:01
  And
• 40:01
  that's
• 40:01
  why
• 40:02
  I
• 40:02
  started
• 40:02
  the
• 40:02
  habit
• 40:03
  of
• 40:03
  reading
• 40:03
  the
• 40:03
  Bible
• 40:03
  13
• 40:04
  times
• 40:04
  a
• 40:04
  year.
• 40:04
  And
• 40:04
  it's
• 40:05
  just
• 40:05
  kind
• 40:05
  of
• 40:05
  one
• 40:05
  of
• 40:05
  those.
• 40:05
  I
• 40:06
  don't
• 40:06
  know,
• 40:06
  it
• 40:06
  doesn't
• 40:07
  have
• 40:07
  to
• 40:07
  be
• 40:07
  the
• 40:07
  Bible
• 40:07
  guys.
• 40:08
  But
• 40:08
  I'm
• 40:08
  talking
• 40:09
  about
• 40:09
  just
• 40:09
  reading
• 40:09
  in
• 40:09
  general.
• 40:10
  I
• 40:10
  think
• 40:11
  we
• 40:11
  miss
• 40:11
  opportunities
• 40:12
  to
• 40:12
  read
• 40:12
  all
• 40:12
  the
• 40:13
  time
• 40:13
  because
• 40:14
  like
• 40:14
  we
• 40:14
  associate
• 40:14
  gaming
• 40:15
  as
• 40:15
  gaming
• 40:16
  and
• 40:16
  we
• 40:16
  say,
• 40:17
  I'm
• 40:17
  in
• 40:17
  the
• 40:17
  line,
• 40:17
  I
• 40:17
  just
• 40:17
  gotta
• 40:18
  wait
• 40:18
  here.
• 40:18
  It's
• 40:18
  like,
• 40:18
  oh,
• 40:19
  you
• 40:19
  can
• 40:19
  read.
• 40:19
  You
• 40:20
  can
• 40:20
  bring.
• 40:20
  Nowadays
• 40:20
  you
• 40:21
  can
• 40:21
  get
• 40:21
  a
• 40:21
  small
• 40:22
  Kindle
• 40:22
  and
• 40:22
  just
• 40:23
  in
• 40:23
  a
• 40:23
  line
• 40:24
  at
• 40:24
  Disney
• 40:24
  World,
• 40:24
  I'll
• 40:24
  just
• 40:24
  read
• 40:25
  a
• 40:25
  book
• 40:25
  real
• 40:25
  quick.
• 40:27
  I
• 40:27
  don't
• 40:27
  know,
• 40:27
  I
• 40:27
  just
• 40:27
  think
• 40:28
  it's
• 40:28
  important
• 40:28
  to
• 40:28
  take
• 40:28
  the
• 40:29
  moment
• 40:29
  to
• 40:30
  just
• 40:30
  recognize
• 40:31
  there
• 40:31
  are
• 40:31
  a
• 40:31
  lot
• 40:32
  of
• 40:32
  tiny
• 40:32
  moments
• 40:32
  in
• 40:33
  our
• 40:33
  lives
• 40:33
  where
• 40:33
  we
• 40:33
  can
• 40:33
  just
• 40:34
  read.
• 40:35
  You
• 40:35
  read
• 40:36
  the
• 40:36
  ingredients
• 40:36
  off
• 40:36
  of
• 40:36
  a
• 40:37
  bottle.
• 40:37
  That
• 40:37
  totally
• 40:38
  counts.
• 40:38
  Because
• 40:38
  then
• 40:38
  you'll
• 40:38
  start
• 40:38
  looking
• 40:39
  up
• 40:39
  what
• 40:39
  is
• 40:39
  this?
• 40:40
  And
• 40:40
  you'll
• 40:40
  learn
• 40:40
  a
• 40:40
  lot
• 40:40
  of
• 40:41
  new
• 40:41
  words.
• 40:41
  And
• 40:41
  that's
• 40:41
  awesome.
• 40:42
  I
• 40:42
  just
• 40:42
  think
• 40:42
  that
• 40:42
  sometimes
• 40:43
  we
• 40:43
  miss
• 40:43
  out
• 40:43
  on
• 40:43
  those
• 40:43
  little
• 40:44
  opportunities.
• 40:44
  Yeah.
• 40:45
  Yeah.
• 40:46
  Well,
• 40:46
  even
• 40:46
  if
• 40:46
  it's
• 40:46
  not
• 40:46
  like
• 40:47
  books
• 40:47
  in
• 40:47
  games
• 40:48
  there
• 40:48
  is
• 40:48
  like
• 40:48
  the
• 40:48
  type
• 40:48
  where
• 40:48
  like
• 40:49
  just
• 40:49
  describing
• 40:49
  a
• 40:50
  character
• 40:50
  or
• 40:50
  like
• 40:51
  last
• 40:51
  Time,
• 40:51
  I
• 40:51
  think
• 40:52
  or
• 40:52
  no,
• 40:52
  two
• 40:52
  times
• 40:53
  ago
• 40:53
  we
• 40:53
  did
• 40:53
  this.
• 40:53
  We
• 40:53
  talked
• 40:54
  about
• 40:54
  like
• 40:54
  appendixes
• 40:54
  and
• 40:55
  stuff.
• 40:56
  Yeah.
• 40:56
  Any
• 40:56
  little
• 40:57
  chance.
• 40:57
  I
• 40:57
  got
• 40:57
  a
• 40:58
  friend
• 40:58
  who
• 40:58
  started
• 40:58
  his
• 40:58
  workout
• 40:59
  regime,
• 40:59
  got
• 40:59
  really
• 40:59
  healthy.
• 41:00
  And
• 41:00
  the
• 41:00
  way
• 41:00
  it
• 41:00
  started
• 41:00
  is
• 41:01
  he
• 41:01
  just
• 41:01
  like
• 41:02
  started
• 41:02
  with
• 41:02
  just
• 41:02
  finding
• 41:03
  the
• 41:03
  furthest
• 41:03
  parking
• 41:04
  spot
• 41:04
  anywhere
• 41:04
  I
• 41:04
  went,
• 41:04
  so
• 41:05
  I
• 41:05
  had
• 41:05
  to
• 41:05
  walk.
• 41:06
  You
• 41:06
  know,
• 41:06
  sometimes
• 41:06
  you
• 41:06
  take
• 41:07
  those
• 41:07
  little
• 41:07
  moments,
• 41:07
  exercise
• 41:08
  those
• 41:08
  muscles.
• 41:09
  I
• 41:10
  think
• 41:10
  it's
• 41:10
  important
• 41:10
  to
• 41:10
  find
• 41:11
  little
• 41:11
  excuses
• 41:11
  to
• 41:11
  read
• 41:12
  and
• 41:12
  eventually
• 41:12
  you'll
• 41:12
  be
• 41:12
  like,
• 41:12
  I
• 41:13
  want
• 41:13
  to
• 41:13
  read
• 41:13
  more.
• 41:14
  Yeah.
• 41:15
  Especially
• 41:15
  in
• 41:16
  today's
• 41:16
  climate,
• 41:17
  there's
• 41:17
  a
• 41:17
  lot
• 41:18
  of
• 41:18
  things
• 41:18
  vying
• 41:19
  for
• 41:19
  your
• 41:19
  attention.
• 41:21
  So
• 41:21
  whatever
• 41:22
  you
• 41:22
  can
• 41:22
  do
• 41:22
  to
• 41:22
  make
• 41:22
  one
• 41:23
  of
• 41:23
  those
• 41:23
  things
• 41:23
  reading,
• 41:25
  you
• 41:25
  gotta
• 41:25
  take
• 41:25
  them.
• 41:26
  I
• 41:26
  think
• 41:26
  substacks
• 41:27
  are
• 41:27
  good
• 41:27
  because,
• 41:28
  like,
• 41:28
  it's
• 41:28
  set
• 41:29
  up
• 41:29
  kind
• 41:29
  of
• 41:29
  like
• 41:29
  social
• 41:29
  media,
• 41:30
  but
• 41:30
  like,
• 41:30
  I
• 41:30
  think
• 41:31
  it's
• 41:31
  easy
• 41:31
  for
• 41:31
  people
• 41:31
  to
• 41:31
  get
• 41:32
  into.
• 41:32
  But
• 41:32
  then
• 41:32
  you
• 41:32
  could
• 41:32
  just
• 41:33
  like
• 41:33
  read
• 41:34
  all
• 41:34
  of
• 41:34
  Thomas
• 41:35
  J.
• 41:35
  Ord's
• 41:36
  the
• 41:36
  Systematic
• 41:36
  Theology
• 41:37
  of
• 41:37
  Love
• 41:37
  because
• 41:38
  he
• 41:38
  did
• 41:38
  it
• 41:38
  one
• 41:38
  post
• 41:38
  at
• 41:38
  a
• 41:39
  time
• 41:39
  on
• 41:39
  Substack
• 41:39
  or
• 41:40
  Kingdom
• 41:40
  Hearts.
• 41:40
  Stuff's
• 41:41
  on
• 41:41
  there
• 41:41
  too.
• 41:41
  Guys.
• 41:42
  I
• 41:42
  was
• 41:42
  doing
• 41:42
  something.
• 41:42
  I
• 41:43
  need
• 41:43
  to
• 41:43
  get
• 41:43
  back
• 41:43
  into
• 41:43
  it.
• 41:44
  Yeah.
• 41:44
  It
• 41:44
  is
• 41:45
  also
• 41:46
  really
• 41:46
  funny
• 41:47
  to
• 41:48
  support
• 41:48
  someone
• 41:48
  on
• 41:48
  substack
• 41:49
  and
• 41:49
  then
• 41:49
  see
• 41:49
  the
• 41:50
  charge
• 41:50
  on
• 41:50
  your
• 41:50
  card
• 41:52
  because
• 41:52
  it
• 41:53
  just
• 41:53
  gets
• 41:53
  charged
• 41:54
  to
• 41:54
  like
• 41:54
  whatever
• 41:54
  they
• 41:55
  named
• 41:55
  their
• 41:55
  blog.
• 41:57
  So
• 41:57
  it
• 41:58
  can
• 41:58
  be.
• 41:58
  It
• 41:58
  can
• 41:58
  be
• 41:59
  pretty
• 41:59
  funny.
• 41:59
  I
• 42:00
  paid
• 42:00
  Jacques
• 42:00
  Allul
• 42:01
  like
• 42:01
  $9
• 42:02
  a
• 42:02
  month.
• 42:04
  Jacques
• 42:05
  Elul's
• 42:05
  been
• 42:05
  dead
• 42:05
  for
• 42:06
  200
• 42:06
  years.
• 42:07
  You're
• 42:07
  doing
• 42:08
  incredible
• 42:08
  stuff.
• 42:09
  Yeah.
• 42:10
  I'm
• 42:10
  proud
• 42:10
  of
• 42:10
  you.
• 42:11
  Thank
• 42:11
  you.
• 42:12
  I'm
• 42:13
  trying
• 42:13
  to
• 42:13
  think
• 42:13
  of
• 42:14
  what
• 42:15
  the
• 42:15
  name
• 42:15
  of
• 42:16
  Scotty
• 42:16
  Young
• 42:16
  has
• 42:17
  one.
• 42:17
  It's
• 42:17
  like
• 42:17
  stupid
• 42:18
  fresh
• 42:18
  mess.
• 42:19
  And
• 42:19
  anytime
• 42:19
  I
• 42:19
  buy
• 42:19
  something
• 42:20
  from
• 42:20
  him.
• 42:20
  What
• 42:21
  Stupid
• 42:21
  fresh
• 42:21
  mess.
• 42:24
  What's
• 42:24
  up?
• 42:24
  Anyway
• 42:25
  guys,
• 42:25
  we
• 42:26
  are
• 42:26
  gonna
• 42:26
  go
• 42:26
  ahead
• 42:26
  and
• 42:26
  start
• 42:26
  our
• 42:27
  wrap
• 42:27
  up
• 42:27
  here.
• 42:28
  Appreciate
• 42:28
  everybody
• 42:28
  for
• 42:29
  listening.
• 42:30
  Want
• 42:30
  to
• 42:31
  remind
• 42:31
  everyone
• 42:32
  again
• 42:32
  you
• 42:33
  can
• 42:33
  get
• 42:34
  bonus
• 42:34
  content
• 42:35
  by
• 42:35
  becoming
• 42:36
  an
• 42:36
  official
• 42:36
  member.
• 42:36
  You
• 42:36
  can
• 42:36
  also
• 42:37
  buy
• 42:37
  the

• 43:31
  you've

  been
• 43:32
  out
• 43:32
  of
• 43:32
  the
• 43:33

• 43:33
  genre
• 43:34
  for
• 43:34
  a
• 43:34
  long
• 43:35
  time,
• 43:36
  Mistborn
• 43:37
  is
• 43:37
  like
• 43:37
  a
• 43:37
  really
• 43:38
  quick,
• 43:39
  easy
• 43:39
  way
• 43:39
  to
• 43:39
  get
• 43:39
  back
• 43:40
  into
• 43:40
  it.
• 43:41
  It's
• 43:41
  a
• 43:41
  short
• 43:41
  trilogy.
• 43:42
  It
• 43:42
  is
• 43:43
  followed
• 43:43
  up
• 43:43
  by
• 43:43
  a
• 43:44
  trilogy.
• 43:45
  And
• 43:45
  both
• 43:45
  trilogies
• 43:46
  themselves
• 43:47
  are
• 43:47
  actually
• 43:47
  included
• 43:48
  in
• 43:48
  the
• 43:49
  much
• 43:49
  larger
• 43:50
  cosmere
• 43:51
  scale
• 43:51
  of
• 43:52
  things.
• 43:52
  So
• 43:52
  it
• 43:52
  includes
• 43:53
  like
• 43:53
  60,
• 43:54
  70
• 43:54
  books.
• 43:55
  So
• 43:56
  you
• 43:56
  can
• 43:56
  kind
• 43:57
  of
• 43:57
  just
• 43:57
  commit
• 43:57
  to
• 43:57
  the
• 43:57
  point
• 43:58
  where
• 43:58
  you're
• 43:58
  comfortable.
• 43:59
  If
• 43:59
  you
• 43:59
  just
• 43:59
  want
• 43:59
  to
• 43:59
  read
• 43:59
  the
• 44:00
  first
• 44:00
  Mistborn
• 44:00
  book,
• 44:01
  it's
• 44:01
  pretty
• 44:01
  good.
• 44:02
  Yeah.
• 44:03
  Yeah.
• 44:04
  I'm
• 44:04
  gonna
• 44:04
  go
• 44:05
  with
• 44:06
  kind
• 44:06
  of
• 44:06
  a
• 44:06
  weird
• 44:06
  one,
• 44:07
  a
• 44:07
  little
• 44:07
  bit
• 44:07
  older
• 44:08
  from
• 44:08
  my
• 44:08
  favorite
• 44:09
  author
• 44:09
  because
• 44:09
  I
• 44:10
  been
• 44:10
  wanting.
• 44:11
  I've
• 44:11
  been
• 44:11
  rereading
• 44:11
  stuff
• 44:12
  lately.
• 44:12
  I
• 44:12
  haven't
• 44:12
  got
• 44:12
  to
• 44:12
  this
• 44:12
  one.
• 44:12
  This
• 44:13
  is
• 44:13
  probably
• 44:13
  gonna
• 44:14
  be
• 44:14
  next
• 44:14
  for
• 44:14
  me.

• 44:21
  It's
• 44:21
  a
• 44:21
  cyberpunk
• 44:22
  fantasy

  novel
• 44:23
  with
• 44:23
  like
• 44:23
  Middle
• 44:23
  Eastern
• 44:24
  fantasy
• 44:24
  stuff.
• 44:24
  So
• 44:24
  you
• 44:24
  got
• 44:25
  like
• 44:25
  gin.
• 44:26
  It's
• 44:26
  just.
• 44:27
  Just
• 44:27
  freaking
• 44:28
  cool.
• 44:29
  Yeah,
• 44:29
  yeah.

  Hackers

• 44:33

• 44:33
  That
• 44:34
  sounds
• 44:34
  pretty
• 44:34
  sick.
• 44:34
  It's
• 44:34
  just
• 44:35
  a
• 44:35
  really
• 44:35
  fun
• 44:35
  world
• 44:36
  to
• 44:36
  kind
• 44:36
  of
• 44:36
  just.
• 44:37
  The
• 44:37
  story
• 44:37
  is
• 44:38
  good
• 44:38
  too,
• 44:38
  but
• 44:38
  just
• 44:38
  like
• 44:38
  the
• 44:39
  world
• 44:39
  as
• 44:39
  a
• 44:39
  whole.
• 44:39
  Like
• 44:39
  I
• 44:40
  just
• 44:40
  kind
• 44:40
  of
• 44:40
  want
• 44:40
  to
• 44:41
  sit
• 44:41
  there,

  you
