SPEAKER_00: As you're doing this, I'm getting kind of like um, I don't know if it's like a butterfly feeling, but just like the pins and needles kind of thing down your spine where I'm just like, this is this is it's almost like bringing me back to when I was in school and you're playing heads up seven up and someone whispers in your ear, it's kind of that like that tingling, that hair tingling sensation.
• 0:18
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I've had people say that a lot.
• 0:21
SPEAKER_02: I've had people say it feels like you're crawling inside of me.
• 0:24
SPEAKER_02: It's a stimulation because we are energetically connected and I'm climbing into your energy.
• 0:29
SPEAKER_00: So and the more open you are, what if parenting isn't just about raising kids?
• 0:34
SPEAKER_00: What if it's your actual spiritual awakening?
• 0:37
SPEAKER_00: Chris Wasco is a spiritual counselor and energy healer who helps survivors of narcissistic abuse and cycle breakers, people just like many of you listening, heal the trauma they never asked for.
• 0:48
SPEAKER_00: She's appeared on Goop, she's talked about breaking generational cycles on national podcast, and she has a message for every parent out there who's trying to raise their kids differently than they were raised.
• 0:58
SPEAKER_00: The healing starts with you and it starts today.
• 1:01
SPEAKER_02: My healing journey is what led to my spiritual awakening.
• 1:05
SPEAKER_02: When I was younger, I probably would have had hints that I was psychic, that I was a medium, but I never ever accepted that as something I could do.
• 1:17
SPEAKER_02: It wasn't until I cut off my narcissistic parents and embarked on an incredible healing journey where I ultimately was able to start doing these things.
• 1:28
SPEAKER_02: These things just started happening to me because what I hadn't realized is that my nervous system was on high alert.
• 1:36
SPEAKER_02: I was in constant hypervigilance, fight or flight, and my healing allowed that to calm.
• 1:42
  SPEAKER_02: I wasn't in that environment anymore.
• 1:45
SPEAKER_02: So, like they say, you cannot heal in the environment that made you sick.
• 1:48
SPEAKER_02: That absolutely was true for me.
• 1:50
SPEAKER_02: So the more I healed, the more these things just started to happen.
• 1:54
SPEAKER_02: So I started sensing my maternal grandfather.
• 1:58
SPEAKER_02: I had never known him in life.
• 2:00
SPEAKER_02: And anyone who does this kind of work knows that it's very challenging to communicate with people in spirit if they knew them in life, because we'll confuse it with our own memories.
• 2:09
SPEAKER_02: And it's just hard to be discerning in that manner because you just have memories.
• 2:14
SPEAKER_02: So it's just, it's challenging to be objective.
• 2:17
SPEAKER_02: But because I didn't know him, I could only go off of what people had told me about him.
• 2:21
SPEAKER_02: And the man I was getting in spirit was not the man I was really told about.
• 2:25
SPEAKER_02: I'm like, he's a lot different than what they told me.
• 2:29
SPEAKER_02: But I was able to get validation from my sister who knew him, as well as my uncle, who was his son.
• 2:36
SPEAKER_02: So that was kind of that start of it.
• 2:38
SPEAKER_02: It was like I cut off family and life, and family and spirit kind of took me in.
• 2:42
SPEAKER_02: So that was kind of nice, I guess.
• 2:45
SPEAKER_02: Unexpected to say the least.
• 2:46
SPEAKER_02: But yeah, I started just having all these things happen where I was hearing inner thoughts of children.
• 2:52
SPEAKER_02: I could hear a lot of people's inner thinking is very loud.
• 2:56
SPEAKER_02: And that was kind of the surreal aspect of it.
• 3:01
SPEAKER_02: Um, it just led me into this work.
• 3:03
SPEAKER_02: I didn't honestly think I was gonna do it for a job when I was studying psychic mediumship and just understanding what it was and how to communicate.
• 3:14
SPEAKER_02: I would often get not just the person in spirit for the person I was reading for, but I would get all of the person's trauma that I was reading for.
• 3:22
SPEAKER_02: And I would be reading their energy body, and then the person in spirit would be there confirming it, sometimes saying, Yep, I'm responsible for that.
• 3:29
SPEAKER_02: And it was really hard for me to just be like, okay, on your way, I wanted to help and I would receive guidance on how to help people heal, how to help their nervous system, but especially their chakra system.
• 3:42
SPEAKER_02: My specialty is reading the chakras.
• 3:44
SPEAKER_02: I could go into these seven main chakras and read trauma energy and essentially hear the story the body wants to share.
• 3:51
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I know that's good.
• 3:52
SPEAKER_00: And I kind of smoked because my my former therapist was so into the chakras and trying to um, you know, inform me, educate me on what those were.
• 4:02
SPEAKER_00: Because honestly, I had no idea before that.
• 4:04
SPEAKER_00: So it just brought me back to that that era of my of my life.
• 4:08
SPEAKER_00: But um, so given that like all you do to help heal narcissistic abuse and and cycle breakers, could you explain um what a cycle breaker actually is at the soul level and what happens um to that person's energy?
• 4:20
SPEAKER_02: I specialize in old souls and narcissistic abuse.
• 4:24
SPEAKER_02: There is always a connection.
• 4:26
SPEAKER_02: Anytime I have connected with an old soul, I know there's a narcissist in their life.
• 4:30
SPEAKER_02: If someone is coming to me where they've struggled with narcissism in their lives with a partner, with a parent, I know there's an old soul somewhere.
• 4:39
SPEAKER_02: Even if it's not them, it's probably their child.
• 4:42
SPEAKER_02: So the connection that I see is old souls are the cycle breakers.
• 4:46
SPEAKER_02: They're the ones that recognize it at a very early.
• 4:49
SPEAKER_02: They are the most triggering child a parent can have because that child is the one that sees more, that calls out more, and is often considered the black sheep of the family.
• 5:02
SPEAKER_02: So they tend to struggle a lot.
• 5:04
SPEAKER_02: I always say old souls choose the most difficult lessons.
• 5:08
SPEAKER_02: So they tend to choose very challenging upbringings, very challenging parents, not always, but very often.
• 5:14
SPEAKER_02: And in order to break this cycle, they need that friction growing up because it allows them to push past it.
• 5:22
SPEAKER_02: But sometimes they push it really hard and they they really struggle, especially by the I often see by the time of age 11, many of them do not want to be here anymore.
• 5:33
SPEAKER_02: So that's where it can become very challenging.
• 5:35
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 5:35
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 5:36
SPEAKER_00: So the you refer to it as the spicy old souls, right?
• 5:38
SPEAKER_00: Or is it just old souls?
• 5:40
SPEAKER_02: I say old souls, but the program that you're referring to, that's a program I created to help people heal.
• 5:45
  SPEAKER_00: Gotcha, gotcha.
• 5:46
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 5:46
SPEAKER_00: So what happens when those old souls grow up to be parents and they're they're having kids of their own?
• 5:53
SPEAKER_00: Is it like inherently just passed down to their kids?
• 5:56
SPEAKER_00: So then they're they're kind of just old souls too, or is it is there a cycle breaker in there somewhere?
• 6:01
SPEAKER_02: More often than not, old souls will also have old souls.
• 6:06
SPEAKER_02: I find most often is no matter what the parent's soul age, the child is often older, especially right now.
• 6:15
SPEAKER_02: I just feel like a lot of these ancient souls are coming.
• 6:18
SPEAKER_02: And the cycle breaker is, I would say an option.
• 6:22
SPEAKER_02: Not everyone takes that because it it takes a lot to do that.
• 6:27
SPEAKER_02: That is not an easy path.
• 6:28
SPEAKER_02: So while some may recognize it, in order to break it, it takes so much dramatic change.
• 6:35
SPEAKER_02: And it often takes doing it with the next generation, because the previous generation usually does not want to, especially because when we're dealing with narcissism, narcissism is a generational pattern.
• 6:47
SPEAKER_02: So parenthood can often bring this to light.
• 6:50
SPEAKER_02: Whereas someone didn't recognize that they were in a narcissistic family system, when they start to see that they are saying and doing things as a parent that their own parents did that they themselves did not like, that's where they start to wake up to, whoa, wait a minute.
• 7:04
  SPEAKER_02: This isn't okay.
• 7:05
SPEAKER_02: This isn't, no, I'm not doing this, which is in a lot of ways great.
• 7:09
SPEAKER_02: But what I see more often than not is they have what's called a form of tunnel vision because they focus on something that was done to them that they swore they wouldn't do to their own children.
• 7:21
SPEAKER_02: So a common one is corporal punishment, hitting their children.
• 7:24
SPEAKER_02: So they will say, I'm not hitting my children, my parents hit me.
• 7:27
SPEAKER_02: I'm absolutely one person that said that myself.
• 7:29
SPEAKER_02: And what happens, that creates tunnel vision.
• 7:31
SPEAKER_02: We get so focused on doing that thing because it was so traumatic and so difficult for us.
• 7:35
SPEAKER_02: We say, We're I'm not doing that to my own child, but we don't recognize there are other tendencies that are probably happening because we get so hyper-focused.
• 7:44
SPEAKER_02: So the healing process in that is very much looking in the mirror, which is not an easy process for anyone.
• 7:52
SPEAKER_02: So that is why if someone is diagnosable with narcissistic personality disorder, they often do not want to heal because they do not see themselves as the problem.
• 8:04
SPEAKER_02: According to them, everyone else is the problem.
• 8:06
  SPEAKER_00: Gotcha.
• 8:07
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 8:07
SPEAKER_00: No, thanks for explaining that.
• 8:08
SPEAKER_00: And so you wrote a book called An Old Soul's Journey, a children's book.
• 8:12
SPEAKER_00: So, what made you want to do that?
• 8:15
SPEAKER_00: And then what does it mean?
• 8:16
SPEAKER_00: Um, what does it teach kids that you wish someone had taught you at their age?
• 8:20
SPEAKER_02: The book is actually for inner child healing.
• 8:23
SPEAKER_02: So while a lot of kids do read and love the book because it is structured very much like a children's book, it's to help with inner child healing, because the inner child is the part of us that is asking to be seen, asking to be healed, and asking to be vulnerable in a way that it's allowed and safe.
• 8:41
SPEAKER_02: So this allows that opening, that awareness, because a lot of times when it comes to healing, we are not open to it in ways energetically.
• 8:51
SPEAKER_02: So this allows for an energetic opening because it takes elements within the body to allow for that because a body closes off in many ways in order to feel safe.
• 9:02
SPEAKER_02: So if anyone has dealt with trauma, that's why chakras become blocked.
• 9:05
SPEAKER_02: That's why chakras can become challenged, I will say.
• 9:08
SPEAKER_02: You know, it's why soul energy can become fragmented.
• 9:12
SPEAKER_02: Trauma does a lot to the body.
• 9:14
SPEAKER_02: So when we have these openings, it allows for the healing to come.
• 9:19
  SPEAKER_00: Can you explain chakras?
• 9:20
SPEAKER_00: Again, I need a refresher myself, and I'm sure the audience could use that, uh, or at least some people out there.
• 9:26
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we have many chakras, but the ones we tend to focus on are the root to crown, the seven main chakras.
• 9:34
SPEAKER_02: So when it comes to those, they, you know, they run along the spine.
• 9:38
  SPEAKER_02: They are energetic wheels.
• 9:40
SPEAKER_02: So they can overspin, they can underspin, depending on trauma energy, I'll call it, because that's usually what will affect spinning.
• 9:48
SPEAKER_02: They be they can become dark in color, they could become fragmented, they could become sticky, and that's usually when there's trauma energy in there, but they could also be incredibly beautiful, they could be vibrant and bright, and it is a very good way to look at the energy body to show you what's going on with it.
• 10:08
SPEAKER_02: The, you know, a lot of people know of the aura.
• 10:10
SPEAKER_02: The aura is also connected to the chakras.
• 10:12
SPEAKER_02: So when someone's aura is showing any kind of stress, it will also reflect within the chakras as well.
• 10:19
SPEAKER_02: I prefer chakra readings over the aura.
• 10:23
SPEAKER_02: That's just my own personal preference.
• 10:24
SPEAKER_02: I don't believe one is necessarily better than the other.
• 10:27
SPEAKER_02: It's just one I find is more in-depth because I will literally go into each chakra in an energetic fashion and look, hear, sense, whatever it wants to share about that energy body.
• 10:41
  SPEAKER_00: Interesting.
• 10:43
SPEAKER_00: Like, how does that process work?
• 10:44
SPEAKER_00: Are you able to size somebody up like me, for instance, someone you don't really you haven't met previously to 15 minutes ago?
• 10:51
  SPEAKER_00: Or is it more of a in-depth, I don't know.
• 10:54
  SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm this is obviously in layman's terms because I don't understand.
• 10:56
SPEAKER_00: I don't have the understanding of you, but how do you how do you do it?
• 10:59
  SPEAKER_00: What's the process?
• 11:00
  SPEAKER_00: Walk us through it.
• 11:01
SPEAKER_02: Well, I won't just do it to anybody because one, it it is intrusive.
• 11:05
SPEAKER_02: So I won't do it unless I have permission.
• 11:09
SPEAKER_02: Does that mean that I can't get a sense of somebody just because they're in my presence?
• 11:13
SPEAKER_02: No, I I absolutely can because we're always giving off energy.
• 11:17
SPEAKER_02: I, you know, it when I tell people how to understand this, think of like when you're standing in line somewhere and someone's standing really close behind you, and the you don't see them.
• 11:27
SPEAKER_02: You just all of a sudden felt something.
• 11:29
SPEAKER_02: It's because your auras became so close.
• 11:32
SPEAKER_02: You just felt that, and it's like, whoa, too close.
• 11:35
SPEAKER_02: So that's the energy overlap.
• 11:37
SPEAKER_02: So someone like me will feel a lot of stuff in people just by what they are presenting energetically.
• 11:44
SPEAKER_02: To get in deeper, that's where I'm asking for permission to climb into each chakra and see what's going on.
• 11:51
SPEAKER_02: And I I mean, people do get a little nervous because it's like, oh, what is she gonna see?
• 11:56
SPEAKER_02: I'm always respectful of energetic boundaries.
• 11:59
SPEAKER_02: The body will share what it wants to share.
• 12:01
SPEAKER_02: I I've dealt with a lot of trauma with clients that have had really intense kind of abuse, you know, physical, sexual, uh, you name it.
• 12:09
SPEAKER_02: I I've had clients had these experiences.
• 12:11
SPEAKER_02: And the body will always share in the most gentle of ways.
• 12:15
SPEAKER_02: So the way I explain that, because some people will write it off as like, oh, it's just blocked.
• 12:20
  SPEAKER_02: It's not exactly it.
• 12:22
SPEAKER_02: I like to say how each chakra kind of can have what I would call an energetic bouncer where they vet me, am I safe?
• 12:30
SPEAKER_02: Am I safe enough for this information?
• 12:33
SPEAKER_02: Or is the body safe feeling safe enough to share?
• 12:36
SPEAKER_02: So in some ways, they feel, okay, she's safe, and then I'm allowed in.
• 12:40
SPEAKER_02: And in other ways, they'll be like, okay, you can only come this far.
• 12:44
SPEAKER_02: So I'll be able to share at least enough.
• 12:46
SPEAKER_02: I had a client recently who I was in his heart chakra, and I felt I could only get so far.
• 12:53
SPEAKER_02: And so I let him know.
• 12:55
SPEAKER_02: And I also let him know I feel an immense amount of betrayal, and it deals with a man in his life and that it's asking me to not go any further at this time.
• 13:04
SPEAKER_02: And he just started crying and said that he was betrayed by a business partner and he couldn't believe it was still there because he felt like he had processed it.
• 13:13
SPEAKER_02: He felt he dealt with the emotions of it, but the body said otherwise.
• 13:17
SPEAKER_02: So I what, like I said, I've respected the boundary.
• 13:20
SPEAKER_02: And the body will always guard to a point, and it always reveals itself in layers.
• 13:26
SPEAKER_02: So there, the initial layers are the ones that are asking to be seen, the ones that require the most attention.
• 13:31
SPEAKER_02: And sometimes they just need the acknowledgement, like, okay, I'm seen.
• 13:35
  SPEAKER_02: Now there's awareness.
• 13:36
SPEAKER_02: And when we have awareness, we can work to heal.
• 13:39
SPEAKER_02: So sometimes that's all it takes.
• 13:40
SPEAKER_02: Other times there's some other things to do uh to heal.
• 13:44
SPEAKER_02: A lot of it is emotion, a lot of it is just things we've stifled over the years.
• 13:49
SPEAKER_02: It's not often physical trauma, but the emotional trauma that goes with it.
• 13:54
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 13:54
SPEAKER_00: Are you able to size like me up, for instance?
• 13:57
SPEAKER_00: Like, do a quick, like, I don't want to put you on the spot, but I just did.
• 14:00
SPEAKER_00: So I don't might be, but since we're there already.
• 14:02
  SPEAKER_00: It's fine.
• 14:03
SPEAKER_00: Like, like, yeah, just like give us a quick demonstration.
• 14:06
SPEAKER_00: We don't have to go super deep, but just like, yeah, how do you read into this?
• 14:11
SPEAKER_02: So I'm gonna ask your root shocker to open and ask for it to let me in and reveal anything it wants to reveal at this time.
• 14:22
SPEAKER_02: So your root is sectioned.
• 14:24
SPEAKER_02: What that is telling me, you uh when I'm looking at root, I'm always looking at how someone's grounded.
• 14:30
SPEAKER_02: So that will tell that tells me that you are and you aren't grounded.
• 14:33
SPEAKER_02: Uh so that'll vary, but you're also selective in who you allow in.
• 14:38
SPEAKER_02: So you're not very easily trusting.
• 14:41
SPEAKER_02: This tells me, and you will kind of uh you're a good people reader.
• 14:45
SPEAKER_02: You'll uh put people in like certain sections of like, okay, this person I trust, I don't trust you, but I'll allow you.
• 14:52
SPEAKER_02: And you I don't trust at all, get out.
• 14:54
SPEAKER_02: So it's very clean, I'll say, in, you know, I know I know who I am and I know who you are.
• 15:01
SPEAKER_02: So it tells me you've also worked on boundaries.
• 15:04
SPEAKER_02: Probably more recently, I would say within the past like five years, you've gotten much better with boundaries, whereas in the past that wasn't always a thing, I'll just say.
• 15:12
SPEAKER_02: Sometimes it isn't always easy to describe what energy feels like, but you would have had friction with boundaries, meaning that you would have wanted to set some, but they weren't always respected.
• 15:23
SPEAKER_02: So, like I said, in the like the past five years, I feel like that's gotten more, more stable, I'll say.
• 15:28
SPEAKER_02: So that's kind of the the highlight of your route.
• 15:31
SPEAKER_02: Do you want to validate as I before I go on?
• 15:33
SPEAKER_02: Or you're gonna be able to do that.
• 15:34
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, you're yeah, you're you're yeah, you're definitely on the on the money for sure.
• 15:38
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 15:38
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, keep going.
• 15:38
SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm just like interested in how you again abbreviated read because most of these, yeah, like a first read will take me like sure, you know, over an hour.
• 15:48
SPEAKER_02: Okay, so I'm gonna ask your sacral chakra to open, allow me in and see what it wants to show.
• 15:57
  SPEAKER_02: This one's also divided.
• 15:58
SPEAKER_02: Okay, so when the the way your chakras are aligned, it's like it's like going into a floor plan.
• 16:06
SPEAKER_02: So if you've ever felt called to like architecture or design or anything like that, it would actually work very well with your energy.
• 16:14
SPEAKER_02: You have a very good way of seeing structure energetically and like how things should be placed.
• 16:20
SPEAKER_02: So uh the sacral chakra works with the element of water.
• 16:26
SPEAKER_02: So I'm often seeing how the water looks.
• 16:28
SPEAKER_02: So you'll have areas in this chakra that are flowing and you know, looking really good as far as how water should look.
• 16:36
SPEAKER_02: And then you have other areas that are completely stagnant, almost like dry.
• 16:41
  SPEAKER_02: I don't like when I see that.
• 16:43
SPEAKER_02: So I'm like, okay, well, what is that?
• 16:44
SPEAKER_02: Because that means your creativity is stifled.
• 16:47
SPEAKER_02: So you'll have times when like you're really abundant and very creative and boom, boom, boom.
• 16:52
SPEAKER_02: And then other times where it's like, nope.
• 16:54
SPEAKER_02: And this could even get you as far to feel rather depressed and kind of feel not so good about yourself because it uh it's it's uh it's stifling.
• 17:06
SPEAKER_02: I'm feeling like this dryness in a way.
• 17:08
SPEAKER_02: So there's a male energy in here too.
• 17:11
SPEAKER_02: So I'm not gonna get into that, but that this tells me that you had some really strong criticism from a male figure in your life for a very long time.
• 17:22
SPEAKER_02: I think we could all kind of go to who that might be, but um but I'm gonna leave that just because it's a it's a deeper thing.
• 17:29
  SPEAKER_02: That's not a quick read one.
• 17:30
SPEAKER_02: So, but it it keeps you in this kind of fragmented aspect of this chakra.
• 17:36
SPEAKER_02: So when it's going beautifully and amazing, it's like you're in that flow.
• 17:39
SPEAKER_02: And then when you're not, it's that inner voice that's not yours, but it feels like yours.
• 17:45
SPEAKER_02: So that's uh that's that that's an older energy that's hanging out in there.
• 17:50
SPEAKER_00: As you're doing this, I'm getting kind of like um, I don't know if it's like a butterfly uh feeling, but just like that pins and needles kind of thing down your spine where I'm just like, wait, this is this is it's almost like you know, bringing me back to when I was in school and your teacher would like, you know, lean over and you know, whisper something in your ear or give you that pat on the back, or you're playing heads up seven up and someone whispers in your ear, you know, it's kind of that like that tingling, that hair tingling sensation.
• 18:16
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I've had people say that a lot.
• 18:18
SPEAKER_02: I've had people say it feels like you're crawling inside of me.
• 18:22
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's a stimulation because we are energetically connected and I'm climbing into your energy.
• 18:27
SPEAKER_02: So, and the more open you are, the more you will feel that.
• 18:30
SPEAKER_02: Because some people will be closed off in a way that, yeah, I'll probably call like a healthy dose of skepticism, which I'm all for.
• 18:38
SPEAKER_02: I'm also skeptical of people, especially in spiritual forms.
• 18:42
SPEAKER_02: Like a lot of people are full of crap.
• 18:44
SPEAKER_02: So, you know, love and light, but yeah, yeah, for sure.
• 18:47
SPEAKER_00: No, I appreciate the demonstration.
• 18:49
SPEAKER_02: Just uh, you know, knowing, I don't know, what works for you and your energy, but uh okay.
• 18:54
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 18:55
SPEAKER_02: So now I'm gonna ask your solar plexus chakra to open and ask for it allow to allow me in and see what it wants to share.
• 19:05
  SPEAKER_02: Okay.
• 19:06
  SPEAKER_02: All right.
• 19:07
SPEAKER_02: You have a lot of trauma energy.
• 19:08
SPEAKER_02: I I I it your solar plexus is is too open.
• 19:12
SPEAKER_02: It's like it's uh so let me back up.
• 19:15
SPEAKER_02: Sorry, when I get into energy, I'm like, if it's a lot.
• 19:19
SPEAKER_02: This is this is too much energy for solar plexus chakra.
• 19:22
SPEAKER_02: This tells me you've had narcissistic abuse in your life.
• 19:24
SPEAKER_02: Anyone that has a chakra that looks like this in the solar plexus, there's a narcissist somewhere.
• 19:28
SPEAKER_02: Uh do you want to validate that?
• 19:29
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
• 19:30
SPEAKER_02: You just say yes or no.
• 19:32
  SPEAKER_02: So that's fine.
• 19:33
SPEAKER_02: You don't need to go here.
• 19:34
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 19:34
  SPEAKER_02: No, yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 19:35
SPEAKER_02: Just want to don't need to get pry into your life.
• 19:38
  SPEAKER_00: No, you're fine.
• 19:39
  SPEAKER_00: Go for it.
• 19:39
SPEAKER_00: I mean, this is yeah.
• 19:41
SPEAKER_02: The solar plexus is the chakra of personal power.
• 19:44
SPEAKER_02: When you have had when you have this kind of trauma in the solar plexus, it means your power has been taken away and it started at a very young age.
• 19:52
SPEAKER_02: So this also, but the the good news is this is a soul lesson.
• 19:55
SPEAKER_02: It also is part of what made you very intuitive, why you're so good at reading people.
• 19:59
SPEAKER_02: This was honed over years.
• 20:01
SPEAKER_02: You probably didn't always feel that that you could.
• 20:04
SPEAKER_02: You probably because I don't feel that faith in yourself in the way where I'm like, yeah, you you're legit.
• 20:09
SPEAKER_02: But that would have taken time for you to have confidence in that.
• 20:11
SPEAKER_02: And like I said, you're kind of in that this past five years.
• 20:13
SPEAKER_02: You've probably done a lot of healing in this past five years, uh, because I feel a lot of transformation.
• 20:19
SPEAKER_02: So, you know, as I say there's trauma energy, people always get nervous because like when a psychic says something that can take it so to heart, this doesn't mean that you're not still healing or that, oh, your body is, you know, in some way failing you.
• 20:32
SPEAKER_02: It just is showing what your body has experienced.
• 20:34
SPEAKER_02: The body tells the score and it's gonna tell somebody like me a lot.
• 20:39
SPEAKER_02: This doesn't mean that it's not working for you or that you're, you know, you're ailing.
• 20:44
SPEAKER_02: Uh and some people can.
• 20:46
SPEAKER_02: I because the more that the body goes on to not be healed, then that's where it turns into, you know, as many say, dis-ease because the body eventually says enough.
• 21:00
SPEAKER_02: So the body always whispers before it screams.
• 21:04
SPEAKER_02: Uh so in your case, I would be stunned if you did not have some digestive issues.
• 21:10
SPEAKER_02: It feels like it would be inconsistent, but like I said, it I would be stunned if that were not the case.
• 21:16
SPEAKER_02: So that's a lot of the stress that's been put, especially on this chakra, because it's just, it's just had way too much energy.
• 21:23
SPEAKER_02: It's had to work so hard to prove itself.
• 21:26
SPEAKER_02: And you're the whatever you've been doing, especially not even like I say five years, I would even say two to three, has been really strong.
• 21:33
SPEAKER_02: So you're you you are doing you're, I will say it feels like you've been on the right track and you're feeling more aligned to you and to your journey.
• 21:42
SPEAKER_02: But you also have expansive energy, which means there's a lot more options as well.
• 21:48
SPEAKER_02: So you have a lot of things you're gonna be doing.
• 21:51
SPEAKER_02: And I'm getting like this fan out of like possibility, possibility, possibility.
• 21:55
SPEAKER_02: So you probably have a lot of ideas now, things you wanna do.
• 21:58
SPEAKER_02: Just be careful of burnout.
• 22:00
SPEAKER_02: Because anyone with this kind of openness to this chakra is going to be very prone to energetic burnout.
• 22:07
SPEAKER_02: So you have to start listening to those signs earlier.
• 22:11
SPEAKER_02: Uh no, don't let it get too far because it'll be so draining and then it'll be harder.
• 22:17
SPEAKER_02: Then now I'm dipping back into that sacral, that that stagnancy and that dryness.
• 22:21
SPEAKER_02: That's part of the burnout too.
• 22:23
SPEAKER_02: Not always, but it will lead to that.
• 22:25
SPEAKER_02: So then it'll take you longer to recover.
• 22:28
SPEAKER_02: So let your body break when it needs a break.
• 22:30
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, that's and sorry to interject, but that's so true.
• 22:34
SPEAKER_00: Like I I have so many, I just met with people earlier today about projects and ambitions and this and that in addition to the podcast.
• 22:41
SPEAKER_00: And it's like, I, you know, sky's the limit in terms of my mind.
• 22:45
SPEAKER_00: Like I'm very, I don't know if you want to say like delusions of grandeur, but I'm just like, I'm so like, I have so many things I want to do in my life and accomplish, and I'm I'm like, I'm sure that I'm gonna do it.
• 22:55
SPEAKER_00: But it's also like it does get like on the other side of the coin, like it gets deflating when something doesn't work out, or you put a lot of time and effort into something, and it's like you just feel like you're grinding constantly, got constantly grinding, not getting anywhere.
• 23:07
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 23:08
SPEAKER_00: So I think what you're saying is like, yeah, you got a believer here.
• 23:11
  SPEAKER_00: I it's a lot of definitely a lot of truths here.
• 23:14
SPEAKER_00: And I'm just like, how do you know this?
• 23:17
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, never met before.
• 23:19
SPEAKER_02: Nope, never met before today.
• 23:21
SPEAKER_02: So that's I I appreciate the validation and I appreciate your openness because your openness allows for a lot of this.
• 23:28
SPEAKER_02: While I can get into energy body even with someone who's only partially open, the more open someone is, the easier it is to just get more.
• 23:37
SPEAKER_02: You know, sometimes I could just get basic stuff, but if someone's just fighting really hard, they're they're fighting me.
• 23:42
  SPEAKER_02: They're fighting me energetically.
• 23:43
SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, okay, I'm not gonna fight your energy.
• 23:45
SPEAKER_02: Like this, you know, this is pretty easy and non-invasive, even though it could, I know, sound invasive, but you know, as you described, you'll get like the tingles, you'll get like those butterfly feelings.
• 23:57
SPEAKER_02: You'll sometimes feel a little, you know, you like an energetic wave.
• 24:01
SPEAKER_02: And that's just me, that's me exploring and because the body lets me.
• 24:05
SPEAKER_02: But I'm always, you know, doing spiritual protection.
• 24:08
SPEAKER_02: I'm not leaving anything behind.
• 24:10
SPEAKER_02: I separate our energy after, you know, I go through a lot of stuff.
• 24:14
SPEAKER_02: I've been doing this a while too.
• 24:16
SPEAKER_02: So, you know, I know I'd like to say I know what I'm doing at this point, not to say I know everything and I'll always be learning and evolving, but it it is a really fun part of my job.
• 24:28
SPEAKER_02: No shocker read is ever the same.
• 24:30
SPEAKER_02: I've done so many at this point.
• 24:32
SPEAKER_02: And while there might be some consistencies, everyone is different.
• 24:36
SPEAKER_00: How do you deal with, or how does your spouse, significant other, deal with you knowing everything?
• 24:42
SPEAKER_00: Um, because I feel like that'd be very dangerous in my household if my wife knew everything about me.
• 24:49
SPEAKER_02: Well, I for starters, I mean, I am probably the one more energetically aware.
• 24:57
SPEAKER_02: He is what I refer to as a muggle.
• 25:00
SPEAKER_02: We've been together a very long time.
• 25:02
SPEAKER_02: So the I think the biggest challenge for me was that I came into my gifts in our relationship, much later in our relationship.
• 25:11
SPEAKER_02: So he, you know, might have seen little trinkets and whatnot along the way.
• 25:16
SPEAKER_02: But as I really awakened and opened, and I think he just was like, Okay, like that's interesting.
• 25:23
SPEAKER_02: If it bothers anybody, it bothers my kids because little things like one of my kids yesterday, uh, he's in bed and I was like, Did you brush and floss?
• 25:33
  SPEAKER_02: And he said yes.
• 25:35
SPEAKER_02: And I paused and I was like, that's not entirely true.
• 25:38
SPEAKER_02: And he's like, You can't use your psychic on me.
• 25:41
  SPEAKER_02: I'm like, but I can.
• 25:43
SPEAKER_02: So I'm very good at detecting lies or partial lies.
• 25:47
SPEAKER_02: So yeah, my my kids, but if anything, I I hope it allows my kids to feel safe, to be honest, because I don't punish for that.
• 25:56
SPEAKER_02: Like he wasn't in trouble for that, but I'll utilize the teaching moment, you know, because anyone who lies, I'm just gonna put this out there, it's because something about them doesn't feel safe.
• 26:06
SPEAKER_02: So there's something to be looked at.
• 26:09
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, when you're in a relationship or have a parent with someone like me, I don't think it's ever dull.
• 26:14
SPEAKER_00: No, no, this is this is definitely okay.
• 26:16
SPEAKER_00: This I've done about a hundred of these.
• 26:18
SPEAKER_00: This is definitely the different uh the outlier in terms of like I'll remember this one, it's memorable.
• 26:23
SPEAKER_00: But I think that's cool because it's like people that are watching this podcast, listening to it.
• 26:28
SPEAKER_00: I mean, they actually got like a real life dose of what you do on a day in and day out basis and what people can expect being in the, you know, chair adjacent to you and and just kind of walking through.
• 26:40
SPEAKER_00: I know again, it's probably more intense, it's more invasive, it's it's more drawn out and more thorough.
• 26:44
SPEAKER_00: But this is just the quick and dirty version of that.
• 26:47
SPEAKER_00: And I think that giving everyone an opportunity to see behind the scenes is just super appreciated.
• 26:53
SPEAKER_00: I I mean, I appreciate that tingling sensation feeling of just like, oh my man, this person gets me and I feel heard, I feel understood.
• 27:01
SPEAKER_00: You know, I think sometimes I've gone through life where I just feel like nobody gets me, you know, nobody understands me.
• 27:08
SPEAKER_00: And that includes everyone on the face of the earth.
• 27:10
SPEAKER_00: So it's it's really nice to be felt in in that moment of like, okay, yeah, like you're starting to understand my story, you're starting to understand why I am what I am, and uh who who I could potentially be, you know, in the future.
• 27:21
SPEAKER_00: Can you tell the the viewers uh where to find you on the internet, how to get your book, find out more about you before you appear on the Parents app again in the future?
• 27:30
SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah, my website is the best way to find me.
• 27:32
  SPEAKER_02: It's my name, ChrisWosco.com.
• 27:35
SPEAKER_02: And my book is on Amazon, An Old Soul's Journey by Chris Wasco.
• 27:39
SPEAKER_02: Kind of just put that in.
• 27:41
SPEAKER_02: Or it's also on my website, but it's usually easier through Amazon.
• 27:44
SPEAKER_00: I just want to thank you again for being on the show, taking time out of your day to to do that, do that demonstration for us.
• 27:50
SPEAKER_00: I that's like this was one of my favorite interviews.
• 27:53
  SPEAKER_00: Um so appreciate you.
• 27:56
SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much for reading mine.
• 27:57
SPEAKER_00: And like that was like surreal to kind of have that happen and be like, oh yeah, somebody does kind of understand me because it again just feels like I'm sure people are like like that out there, where they're just like, oh, nobody gets me, and then it's just like I've never had a psych, I've never is this a psychic reading?
• 28:13
SPEAKER_00: Is that technically what it's called?
• 28:14
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I would say it's a psychic reading.
• 28:16
  SPEAKER_00: Really?
• 28:17
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 28:18
SPEAKER_02: Well, you have to be psychic to read chakras.
• 28:20
SPEAKER_02: You because it's all it's all energy, and you're going, you know, this is quantum energy.
• 28:25
SPEAKER_02: You're going into a very different field.
• 28:27
SPEAKER_02: You know, I'm not jumping into your body per se, but I'm jumping into your energy body.
• 28:32
SPEAKER_02: And I I prefer chakras because if and there's a lot of people that do the work of being a medical medium.
• 28:40
SPEAKER_02: I know that's more, you know, there's the medical medium, but there's also mediums that do medical research.
• 28:45
SPEAKER_02: And a lot of us can do that, but you know, we're often up against the medical system.
• 28:49
SPEAKER_02: And that's very challenging because when you tell them there's other ways to heal, you can be canceled when you don't have any kind of medical degree background.
• 29:00
SPEAKER_02: So I don't go that route uh for that reason.
• 29:03
SPEAKER_02: I just, you know, like to kind of leave that to the ones that feel more aligned to that.
• 29:08
SPEAKER_02: But for chakra energy, there's just so much that goes into that, especially like emotions.
• 29:13
SPEAKER_02: It's amazing what our emotions, especially suppressed emotions, do to the body over time.
• 29:18
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, for sure.
• 29:19
SPEAKER_00: Like my my wife would just be all over me for everything.
• 29:23
SPEAKER_00: She'd be like, You buying another hat?
• 29:24
SPEAKER_00: Like, okay, so I have this thing, like, I have a hat for every episode.
• 29:27
SPEAKER_00: I'm starting to get pretty high up there, Chris.
• 29:29
SPEAKER_00: And so it's like I got this hat addiction.
• 29:32
SPEAKER_00: Um yeah, it's cool, but it's also, you know, she's not a huge fan of it.
• 29:36
SPEAKER_00: Every time she gets a purse, I'm like, hon, you get a purse?
• 29:38
  SPEAKER_00: She's like, You get a hat.
• 29:39
  SPEAKER_00: I'm like, Yeah.
• 29:41
SPEAKER_02: But we could tell her now, because you just got a little mini read there.
• 29:45
SPEAKER_02: Uh, it's because your solar plexus is very large.
• 29:48
SPEAKER_02: Whenever we have any kind of addiction, there's something going on in the solar plexus.
• 29:52
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there is something that like retail therapy has always been like a retail therapy, exactly.
• 29:58
SPEAKER_00: I get super depressed, and like it was always my thing, like go to the mall, get a hat.
• 30:02
SPEAKER_00: For that for that time alone, like I feel better.
• 30:06
SPEAKER_02: Can we go into that though a little bit?
• 30:08
SPEAKER_02: Because uh because I want to help you with that, because uh especially because it came up energetically.
• 30:12
SPEAKER_02: So when do you remember the first time you did that?
• 30:15
  SPEAKER_00: I do, yeah.
• 30:17
SPEAKER_02: So every time you are doing it, you're going back to that first time and what that version of you needed, and that satisfaction you get is it created a bit of a high or or a nurturing element within your body.
• 30:31
SPEAKER_02: And that's what you are going back to every time.
• 30:34
SPEAKER_02: So that's the version of you.
• 30:36
SPEAKER_02: You're you're roughly around like 13, 14, I feel like uh you feel kind of young to me when you're doing this.
• 30:42
SPEAKER_02: So that's the version of you I would want to sit with and talk to and say, tell me about this hat shopping experience.
• 30:49
SPEAKER_02: Because every hat for every episode, it's not about the hat, it's not about the episode, it's about that first time.
• 30:55
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 30:56
  SPEAKER_00: I think that's just my excuse.
• 30:57
SPEAKER_00: But uh yeah, no, for sure.
• 30:59
SPEAKER_00: It's like I'm very nostalgic too, and I don't know if that is that does that play into it?
• 31:04
SPEAKER_00: Like I I really feel think fondly of the 90s, I think fondly of a lot of stuff that's no longer, you know, here.
• 31:11
SPEAKER_00: And yeah, so I think maybe it does bring me back in a sense from just like it gives me those, those, like you said, teenager vibes of like, hey, I'm youthful, uh, life is good, no responsibilities.
• 31:22
SPEAKER_02: And yeah, that's it's something you were able to do for yourself to feel safe at the time.
• 31:27
SPEAKER_02: So it's got it's coming down to teaching the body safety.
• 31:31
SPEAKER_02: So that every time you do that, you've just taught your body safety, or at least you've gotten a a hit of it, if you will, because that is how addiction works within the body.
• 31:40
SPEAKER_02: So when we get to that element of safety, because uh it's either safety or numbing.
• 31:45
SPEAKER_02: In your case, it's safety.
• 31:47
SPEAKER_02: In other cases, like when people do drugs, alcohol, sex addiction, that the these are numbing elements, not safety.
• 31:54
  SPEAKER_02: So but yeah, yeah.
• 31:55
  SPEAKER_02: There can be variances.
• 31:57
SPEAKER_02: I will always say that.
• 31:58
SPEAKER_02: There's always variances, but more often than not, it's either numbing or safety.
• 32:01
SPEAKER_02: And well, ultimately, even numbing is to come down to not feeling safe somewhere.
• 32:06
SPEAKER_02: So the numbing helps feel safe.
• 32:08
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 32:09
SPEAKER_00: That is so true because it's like I go from, you know, like not to focus too much on me, I'm sorry, but like the depressive state of before I go hat shopping and then how I feel afterwards, it's almost like I did it to get myself out of that dark place.
• 32:24
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 32:25
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 32:25
SPEAKER_02: Have compassion for yourself in that and love yourself in those moments because I don't feel like it's a vulnerability you're allowing yourself to have and you're honoring yourself in that.
• 32:35
SPEAKER_02: And when you're ready to do differently, you will.
• 32:38
SPEAKER_02: But until then, this works for you and it works for your energy body.
• 32:42
SPEAKER_02: So you don't have to in any way hate yourself for that.
• 32:45
SPEAKER_02: Our kids are a great opportunity for healing.
• 32:47
SPEAKER_02: They always show us the stuff in us we don't like because they trigger it.
• 32:52
SPEAKER_02: Journey that makes it amazing.
• 32:54
  SPEAKER_00: It is, it is.
• 32:55
SPEAKER_00: How old are you kids by?
• 32:57
SPEAKER_02: Uh my kids are ranging from uh 12 to 19.
• 33:01
  SPEAKER_02: I've got four.
• 33:02
  SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
• 33:02
  SPEAKER_00: You have four kids.
• 33:03
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 33:04
  SPEAKER_00: 12 to 19.
• 33:05
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 33:06
SPEAKER_00: Okay, so that's like the okay, so that's that's usually what we talk about is like the teenage because there's like the threads out there to the teenagers and all that stuff.
• 33:14
SPEAKER_00: But do you think being like a psychic helps you like navigate like the anxieties of okay, the anxieties of like everything?
• 33:22
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 33:23
SPEAKER_02: I feel it helps, and in some cases I might have to kind of walk with fear that might come up because I don't want to manifest anything through fears that come up.
• 33:32
SPEAKER_02: But yeah, uh, it does it does help me in ways that I don't take for granted.
• 33:38
  SPEAKER_00: That's amazing.
• 33:38
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because we we I just was talking about like stuff that you know you don't want to be thinking about, but like I just had an FBI agent on the show and he was like, We're talking about like school shootings, for instance, and like obviously that's the least, like that's the last thing I I would want to hear, right?
• 33:54
SPEAKER_00: My daughter just went to kindergarten this week.
• 33:56
SPEAKER_00: Um so that's that's on the top of mind, right?
• 33:59
SPEAKER_00: Yeah is is like the the catastrophe at school or whatever.
• 34:02
SPEAKER_00: And so it's like when you say manifest it, it's almost like do you not want to think about it because then it's like more likely to happen, or is it one of those things like you worry because then you can protect and then you can like be, you know, kind of vigilant?
• 34:14
SPEAKER_02: So gosh, I it's not exactly not wanting to think about it because you know, if there's a fear coming up, I believe you have to sit with it.
• 34:24
SPEAKER_02: So if we just don't think about it, then we're suppressing something, and that's that won't do well for the energy body.
• 34:29
SPEAKER_02: So if there's a fear, we have to sit with the fear, we have to walk with the fear and ask ourselves why it's present and how we're going to work on and through that.
• 34:39
SPEAKER_02: And everyone's gonna be different with that.
• 34:41
SPEAKER_02: There's there's no one answer for that.
• 34:43
SPEAKER_02: But fear is only as powerful as we allow it to be.
• 34:47
SPEAKER_02: And I believe in having faith over fear.
• 34:49
SPEAKER_02: Um and the one thing that is stronger than fear is love.
• 34:53
SPEAKER_02: So the more love energy we are in and put really surround our kids in, the the better.
• 34:59
SPEAKER_02: Um, and also knowing it's it's part of our journey too.
• 35:02
SPEAKER_02: So some people are gonna be dealing with that fear energy so much more, and that's part of their journey to work with that.
• 35:08
SPEAKER_02: But I I would just say with that, never avoid it.
• 35:11
SPEAKER_02: We we often avoid it and push it aside because it's scary.
• 35:15
SPEAKER_02: But the more we sit with it, then the smaller it becomes.
• 35:19
SPEAKER_02: The more we avoid fear, the bigger it is.
• 35:21
SPEAKER_02: The more we sit with it, the smaller it is.
• 35:23
SPEAKER_02: It could still exist, but it's learning how to exist with it.
