- 0:08Speaker 1: Welcome to the Favorites the Podcast, part of the Volume
- 0:12Speaker 1: podcast Network. I am Chad, Moment of the Action Network.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Our annual division by division NFL preview episodes continue. We're
- 0:21Speaker 1: coming down to the end as we head into week one.
- 0:24Speaker 1: To help me bring it all together, let me introduce
- 0:28Speaker 1: my co host, my companion, Mike and padre my BFF
- 0:32Speaker 1: professional Better Simon Hunter Ella, Simon.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Chad, my guy, how are we doing, dude? Today?
- 0:39Speaker 1: We're doing the NFC East. So I want to tell
- 0:41Speaker 1: you a little story which which you will love because
- 0:44Speaker 1: it involves one of your favorite coaches of all time.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I got someboddies here in West Herford where I live,
- 0:53Speaker 1: who are from the Philly region outside Philly, South Jersey, whatever,
- 0:58Speaker 1: and they are such which rabbit rabbid Eagles fans. They
- 1:05Speaker 1: get together during the season. They watch in this guy's basement.
- 1:10Speaker 1: They've already rewatched the Super Bowl victory from last year
- 1:14Speaker 1: in preparation for the upcoming season. And a couple of
- 1:18Speaker 1: weeks ago they called me because they were going to
- 1:21Speaker 1: watch the movie Invincible. As you know, I wrote the
- 1:25Speaker 1: book Invincible.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Chad Milman wrote a book.
- 1:30Speaker 1: You're aware I wrote the book Invincible. About Vince Papali,
- 1:34Speaker 1: who became the oldest rookie in NFL history when he
- 1:37Speaker 1: made the Eagles off of an open tryout when Dick
- 1:40Speaker 1: Rameil became the head coach. It was the movie Invincible,
- 1:43Speaker 1: starting Mark Wahlberg and Elizabeth Banks. I appreciate you recognizing
- 1:46Speaker 1: it because when I said they asked me to go
- 1:50Speaker 1: to this party, when I said I was gonna come by,
- 1:53Speaker 1: my son was like, Invincible. Didn't didn't you have something
- 1:56Speaker 1: to do with that?
- 1:57Speaker 3: Did you?
- 1:58Speaker 2: Like, you're a fucking you got to explain them. That's
- 2:01Speaker 2: Philadelphia's goodwill hunting. Okay, you had a huge, huge deal
- 2:04Speaker 2: part of Philadelphia movie made.
- 2:06Speaker 1: So so I went and I the night before, I
- 2:11Speaker 1: texted Vince and I told him I was going to
- 2:15Speaker 1: this Invincible party at my buddy's house. And by the way,
- 2:19Speaker 1: they had these uh like I don't know, like the
- 2:26Speaker 1: Philadelphia wah wah version of Hostess cupcakes and like little
- 2:30Speaker 1: cakes and stuff that you gotta rub the plastic to
- 2:33Speaker 1: make sure it doesn't stick to the icing. I forget
- 2:36Speaker 1: what they're called. But anyways, I told Vince I was
- 2:39Speaker 1: going to this, you know, movie party for Invincible, and
- 2:43Speaker 1: he texted me. He was in Jupiter, Florida. A video Jupiter,
- 2:48Speaker 1: Florida of Doug Peterson. This was literally that moment. He
- 2:52Speaker 1: was with Doug Peterson, who was making smash burgers, and
- 2:55Speaker 1: they were getting ready to watch the Hall of Fame game.
- 3:00Speaker 1: And I'm like, this is the fucking best man.
- 3:04Speaker 2: It's a brotherhood Philadelphia.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Doug Peterson loving his life with Vince Papali in Florida.
- 3:11Speaker 2: The well deserved, well deserved good man.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Today we're doing the NFCS brother Eagles, Super Bowl Champs,
- 3:19Speaker 1: Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys, New York Football Giants, as Mike
- 3:25Speaker 1: Shiftman had asked us to do the NFC East faces,
- 3:29Speaker 1: the AFC West, and the NFC North. So even the
- 3:34Speaker 1: last place schedule because of the NFC North will not
- 3:39Speaker 1: necessarily be easy. Let's start with your Eagles brother division
- 3:59Speaker 1: minus one forty five conference plus three hundred Super Bowl
- 4:02Speaker 1: plus six fifty win total eleven and a half. I
- 4:08Speaker 1: got a lot of thoughts on this right now, but
- 4:13Speaker 1: you're in that ven diagram of super fandom and professional
- 4:18Speaker 1: better and I know Eagles fandom does not influence how
- 4:22Speaker 1: you feel about these numbers. I say that with all
- 4:25Speaker 1: seriousness so before I say anything, just give me your opinion.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's this is this is peak NFC East cockiness, pride.
- 4:35Speaker 2: I think in the whole division where you know, Washington
- 4:39Speaker 2: thinks they're big and bad, Dallas thinks they got super
- 4:42Speaker 2: Bowl you know, aspirations, and I believe after our last
- 4:46Speaker 2: Super Bowl, we have the most Super Bowls and above
- 4:48Speaker 2: any division NFCS. So it's the Northeast bias is strong
- 4:53Speaker 2: right now with this division. And yeah, I look at it,
- 4:57Speaker 2: and you know, this Eagles team, I've I think even
- 5:00Speaker 2: talking at Eagles fans, they were losing their fucking minds.
- 5:03Speaker 2: The fact that I was telling people to bet Dallas
- 5:05Speaker 2: and I tried to explain them all, to explain to
- 5:07Speaker 2: people now just because I was saying Dallas is the
- 5:09Speaker 2: best valley does not mean I think Dallas is gonna
- 5:12Speaker 2: win this division. Obviously, this is the team that's gonna
- 5:15Speaker 2: win this division right the foot off the Eagles. And
- 5:17Speaker 2: at minus one forty five, it's that number because there's
- 5:21Speaker 2: so much love for Washington right now in the general
- 5:24Speaker 2: public and sports media, because the Jayden Daniels well deserved
- 5:26Speaker 2: what he did last year. But that's really what's pushing
- 5:29Speaker 2: this number down. And then we know the history of
- 5:31Speaker 2: this division just teams don't repeat. It's I don't know
- 5:34Speaker 2: we're going on year in nineteen or year twenty, but
- 5:36Speaker 2: there has not been a repeat champion this division that
- 5:38Speaker 2: long for good reasons. There's always something right. There was
- 5:42Speaker 2: always something either. Even when there's teams leading by like
- 5:45Speaker 2: four games, there's five games left, they've lost somehow all
- 5:48Speaker 2: those games, the other team will come up and win
- 5:49Speaker 2: it out of nowhere. So it's been really fluky. But
- 5:53Speaker 2: I think it's finally bound to happen. Chat, I think
- 5:56Speaker 2: I can say with confidence that this Eagles team will
- 6:00Speaker 2: be the one that can break that streak. And it's
- 6:02Speaker 2: just because of this defense. And as much as we
- 6:05Speaker 2: love and respect we give this Eagles offense deserved well deserved.
- 6:10Speaker 2: To win your division consistently, you need to have a
- 6:13Speaker 2: really good defensive back that offense. Because we've talked with
- 6:16Speaker 2: like other professional betters, defense to a lot of people
- 6:18Speaker 2: is considered very consistent from year to year, and that
- 6:22Speaker 2: is why these defensive coordinators are so important. I mean, Fangs,
- 6:26Speaker 2: he's changed the whole n offl His defensive scheme has
- 6:29Speaker 2: changed everything in this league where the deep balls for
- 6:32Speaker 2: the most part, died for most most teams, right because
- 6:35Speaker 2: of this type of Cover two defense he's brought in
- 6:37Speaker 2: where you know he runs cover two, cover three. I
- 6:39Speaker 2: mean that super Bowl they just won. I think if
- 6:41Speaker 2: you watch most of it, they ran't Cover four against
- 6:43Speaker 2: Mahomes most of that game and it worked. Like It's
- 6:46Speaker 2: just it's crazy how dropping these safeties back and keeping
- 6:49Speaker 2: everything underneath and makes these quarterbacks eventually make a mistake,
- 6:53Speaker 2: Like you only can be patient for so long, especially
- 6:55Speaker 2: if you're trailing. So this Eagles team, their bigginest weakness
- 6:59Speaker 2: was they lost Milton Williams, Josh Sweat. Like when I
- 7:05Speaker 2: when I hear people say that stuff, I laugh. I
- 7:07Speaker 2: think Eagles fans laugh because no one was saying those
- 7:10Speaker 2: names until that Super Bowl. No no fan outside of
- 7:13Speaker 2: Philly knew about those guys except you know, until that
- 7:17Speaker 2: Super Bowl happened. So, yeah, does it matter they lost
- 7:20Speaker 2: those guys, of course, But to me, being not only
- 7:23Speaker 2: an Eagles fan, but someone that follows that team through betting,
- 7:27Speaker 2: their best d lineman was Brendan Graham through you know,
- 7:30Speaker 2: eight weeks last season, Like this is a man that
- 7:33Speaker 2: retired after the season. So that's let you know, how
- 7:36Speaker 2: that d N group they were just all really solid.
- 7:39Speaker 2: There was no superstar of that group. So losing those
- 7:41Speaker 2: two guys it's a big deal. But for this team,
- 7:44Speaker 2: it's not that big of a deal, and they're real
- 7:46Speaker 2: The game changer for them has been obviously Jalen Carter,
- 7:49Speaker 2: but it's the linebackers and the cornerbacks. Like Howie, we
- 7:53Speaker 2: had one of the worst secondaries in football. We lost
- 7:54Speaker 2: seven straight games, and he went out and took you know,
- 7:57Speaker 2: are really the best corner of football in my opinion,
- 7:59Speaker 2: the Round and then took a guy that you know,
- 8:02Speaker 2: people now know his name, Cooper Gene because of that
- 8:04Speaker 2: Super Bowl. So you know, when Quinn and Mitchell and
- 8:07Speaker 2: Cooper Gene could come in and change a whole organization
- 8:09Speaker 2: in one year, there's gonna be carryover. So that was
- 8:12Speaker 2: their first year. They're only gonna get better. So I
- 8:15Speaker 2: would say most Eagles fans you talked to are sticking
- 8:17Speaker 2: their chests out. They're very confident. They believe. I I
- 8:20Speaker 2: want to hate on them, I want to push him down,
- 8:23Speaker 2: but I just can't find a weakness on this team.
- 8:24Speaker 2: And even saw I think yesterday Landon Dickerson got hurt
- 8:29Speaker 2: here at his knee, which is there, you know, all
- 8:31Speaker 2: pro guard. That's a huge deal for almost any team
- 8:34Speaker 2: to lose your all pro guard. He might I don't
- 8:36Speaker 2: know what the injury is yet. They just said it's
- 8:38Speaker 2: a knee. Injuries are on his knee. If he's out
- 8:40Speaker 2: for the season, that that is a big deal. But
- 8:43Speaker 2: with Jeff Stallin another cog in the machine, you expect
- 8:46Speaker 2: the next guy to step into that guard position won't
- 8:48Speaker 2: be that big of a downgrade. So yeah, it's if
- 8:51Speaker 2: they're healthy. I mean, I remember I said at this
- 8:53Speaker 2: point last year, I think I had I think I
- 8:57Speaker 2: had the forty nine ers at one last year at
- 8:59Speaker 2: this point, then line the Eagles and then the Chiefs
- 9:02Speaker 2: and people were killing me and I get it, like
- 9:04Speaker 2: they were like, you're being a home or no way
- 9:06Speaker 2: of the Eagles last year a top three team, and
- 9:08Speaker 2: then we had into the playoffs last year, the Eagles
- 9:11Speaker 2: were my best bet. It was we did an article
- 9:13Speaker 2: for Action Network and it was my best bet super bet.
- 9:15Speaker 2: They were eleven to one. The Eagles a super team.
- 9:18Speaker 2: People call them a super team. They were eleven to
- 9:21Speaker 2: one in January head into the playoffs, you could have
- 9:24Speaker 2: got them a super team, and it's it's just one
- 9:27Speaker 2: of the things how people just moved the goalpost, right,
- 9:30Speaker 2: they moved the goalpost, So this is of course they won.
- 9:32Speaker 2: They had the best defense, they had the best offense,
- 9:34Speaker 2: blah blah blah. It's like, well, why were they eleven
- 9:36Speaker 2: to one? So I think the whole public's come around
- 9:39Speaker 2: now on this team. That yeah, divisionalides value is there?
- 9:43Speaker 2: Win total? I would take it. I have them at
- 9:45Speaker 2: thirteen wins eleven and a half. That's a nice win total.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Conference in Super Bowl We've already talked about it. There's
- 9:50Speaker 2: no value there. Rather do Eagles with the matchups because
- 9:53Speaker 2: them to win this conference at three to one, they
- 9:56Speaker 2: need so many things to break their way once again
- 9:58Speaker 2: like it did last year, right, Like they just need
- 10:00Speaker 2: to be healthy and that is the hardest part in football.
- 10:03Speaker 2: So yeah, you can tell I'm really excited and fired
- 10:06Speaker 2: up for this team because we haven't had a repeat
- 10:08Speaker 2: champion like we had two. The last time we've had
- 10:11Speaker 2: a team win two Super Bowls and the next team
- 10:13Speaker 2: went two Super Bowls was I believe Pittsburgh and Miami
- 10:16Speaker 2: in the seventies. So that's how long it's been the NFL,
- 10:18Speaker 2: I think over fifty years now since we've had back
- 10:21Speaker 2: to back champs where they've gone back to back, back
- 10:23Speaker 2: to back. So as an Eagles fan, I'm really excited,
- 10:25Speaker 2: But as a better it's like this is the dream team.
- 10:28Speaker 2: It was the same thing as last year. Chad knows.
- 10:29Speaker 2: I love betting teams based on offensive lines and defensive
- 10:33Speaker 2: lines in their schemes, and this is just another team
- 10:35Speaker 2: that because how he's drafted so well, there's no glaring weakness,
- 10:39Speaker 2: so I have no fear of the curse of never
- 10:42Speaker 2: went the same team repeating this division. I think this
- 10:44Speaker 2: is the exact team type of team you need to
- 10:47Speaker 2: break that curse, which is a team that's not even
- 10:49Speaker 2: talking about last year Super Bowl. They've totally moved on
- 10:51Speaker 2: totally one direction. It all starts with Jalen Hurts. So yeah,
- 10:54Speaker 2: very very confident in this divisional bet. This is probably
- 10:57Speaker 2: my top three of my highest bet right now. It
- 11:00Speaker 2: opened at one fifty deck you dropped at some books
- 11:03Speaker 2: to one for five. So people are our betten Washington,
- 11:06Speaker 2: they are Betton Dallas, and they're moving this number. So
- 11:09Speaker 2: I'm hoping, I'm hoping doesn't get above one fifty Again,
- 11:11Speaker 2: I think this is this is the right price for
- 11:13Speaker 2: me and the value wise betten the Seagulls team.
- 11:16Speaker 1: How we did how we during the draft, first five
- 11:19Speaker 1: picks on defense across the defensive line, linebackers, and secondary.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Three of the next four picks on the offensive line.
- 11:30Speaker 1: I think he knew they needed more offensive line depth.
- 11:34Speaker 1: They lost Makai Becton from that Super Bowl offensive line,
- 11:39Speaker 1: like you just mentioned Dickerson. We don't know what the
- 11:41Speaker 1: injury is, but Howie doesn't leave the cover bear in
- 11:45Speaker 1: the areas where he needs it most filled, where we love,
- 11:50Speaker 1: which is defensive line offensive line. I'm not even that
- 11:55Speaker 1: worried about them losing Kellen Moore the offensive coordinator because
- 11:59Speaker 1: to me, that's one of the reasons they sort of
- 12:00Speaker 1: fell off a cliff the year after winning the Super
- 12:03Speaker 1: Bowl is they did not get the coordinators right, both
- 12:07Speaker 1: offensively or defensively.
- 12:09Speaker 2: They were off right.
- 12:11Speaker 1: You mentioned Vic Fangio came in, and like, the good
- 12:14Speaker 1: thing about Fangio is a he's a brilliant defensive coordinator
- 12:18Speaker 1: who's proven it again and again and again, including last year.
- 12:21Speaker 1: He's not going to leave to go be a head coach.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Somewhere.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Meanwhile, the Eagles, they didn't go out and look for
- 12:27Speaker 1: a new offensive coordinator. They basically just promoted a guy
- 12:30Speaker 1: who's been on staff. Some of the disconnect that Jalen
- 12:34Speaker 1: had in adapting to new offensive coordinators the year after
- 12:38Speaker 1: winning the Super Bowl, I don't think will be a
- 12:40Speaker 1: problem this year, even though it's like it's his fifth
- 12:43Speaker 1: offensive coordinator in five years.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Losing Kellen Moore, it's it was a big deal, but
- 12:50Speaker 2: it's not when I really broke this team down where
- 12:52Speaker 2: they struggled. He wasn't even that big of a game teacher.
- 12:55Speaker 2: The Eagles were second and least points scored in the
- 12:58Speaker 2: first two quarters of games up until week thirteen, like
- 13:01Speaker 2: and then we kept betting against him in the First
- 13:02Speaker 2: War because they could not score for the life of them.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I told you what eventually happened was Jalen Hurts after
- 13:07Speaker 2: that Bio week, he went to them and just said,
- 13:08Speaker 2: we don't need to be a passing team. We should
- 13:10Speaker 2: be able to run first team, like we have the
- 13:12Speaker 2: ultimate cheat code in Saquon Barkley. And this upcoming season,
- 13:17Speaker 2: I think things might change where they might push the
- 13:18Speaker 2: ball a little bit more downfield. If possible, but I
- 13:21Speaker 2: look at it as don't change it. If it ain't broke,
- 13:24Speaker 2: don't fix it, like you know what you are, like,
- 13:25Speaker 2: keep feeding the beast to Sayquan was right him as
- 13:28Speaker 2: long as you can, as long as he's healthy. So yeah,
- 13:31Speaker 2: I think you nailed a chat where it's like usually
- 13:33Speaker 2: i'd be with some teams or it's like, well, you know,
- 13:35Speaker 2: this isn't like losing Ben Johnson. They're losing to a
- 13:37Speaker 2: guy who I think got propped up by the pieces
- 13:40Speaker 2: around him. He wasn't so much this offensive genius.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Quick heads up anybody playing fantasy football this season, the
- 13:45Speaker 1: Ultimate twenty twenty five draft kit is he your courtesy
- 13:49Speaker 1: of our Fantasy Labs team. This means our award winning
- 13:52Speaker 1: team of Sean Crounner and Chris Raybound have their rankings,
- 13:55Speaker 1: tiers and cheat sheets ready for you. To get them,
- 13:58Speaker 1: you'll need a Fantasy Labs subscription, and right now new
- 14:02Speaker 1: subscribers can get can use code flex twenty for twenty
- 14:06Speaker 1: dollars off at Fantasy labs dot com slash flex. Let
- 14:11Speaker 1: Sean and Chris make your fantasy prep easier. Use code
- 14:14Speaker 1: flex twenty for twenty dollars off at Fantasy Labs dot
- 14:18Speaker 1: Com slash flex the Washington Commanders. You mentioned Jaden Daniels
- 14:25Speaker 1: Division plus two, twenty five Conference plus eight fifty Super
- 14:29Speaker 1: Bowl twenty to one win total nine and a half.
- 14:33Speaker 1: It's very easy to say fade the Commanders, but it's
- 14:38Speaker 1: the right thing to do. I think Jaden Daniels masks
- 14:42Speaker 1: everything that is wrong with this team. The O line
- 14:46Speaker 1: not very good. Does Laramie Tunsel make them that much better?
- 14:51Speaker 1: Is he on the other side of being peak? Terry
- 14:54Speaker 1: McLaurin holding out? Does Deebo Samuel on the other side
- 14:59Speaker 1: of peak make this team much better? In both cases
- 15:03Speaker 1: with Tunsel and Samuel, I think we're getting big time
- 15:05Speaker 1: guys whose productivity is a year or two behind them.
- 15:10Speaker 1: So again, they're going to be over reliant on Daniel's
- 15:14Speaker 1: playmaking ability. He's not just in fields right. He's not
- 15:17Speaker 1: an irresponsible scrambler. He's not Anthony Richardson. He doesn't make
- 15:22Speaker 1: himself vulnerable. There's no reason to think that what he
- 15:26Speaker 1: did last season performance wise was a fluke in terms
- 15:31Speaker 1: of his ability to keep the chains moving and find
- 15:34Speaker 1: success on fourth downs. But there's going to be some regression.
- 15:38Speaker 1: They literally converted nearly every first down, I would go
- 15:44Speaker 1: under nine and a half here. This would be sort
- 15:46Speaker 1: of the bet that I would peg in this division.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Yeah, and I have him the seven and a half ones,
- 15:53Speaker 2: So there are way way way over nine and a half.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Is I couldn't believe when I saw that open, and
- 16:01Speaker 2: I know people would be like, well, you're being a
- 16:04Speaker 2: Washington hater, But it's just I think Chad's nailing a
- 16:07Speaker 2: little bit of how fluky last year was in many ways,
- 16:11Speaker 2: and they're being sucked into you know, if Baker doesn't
- 16:14Speaker 2: turn that ball over, they win that game, right, that
- 16:18Speaker 2: playoff game, what's their win total if they don't have
- 16:21Speaker 2: that run, right, it's probably eight and a half because
- 16:25Speaker 2: of how good they were last year, you know, so
- 16:28Speaker 2: you're already getting a bad like you're already betting on over.
- 16:31Speaker 2: If you're betting this with a fake win like that,
- 16:34Speaker 2: they're getting a bump in the books because of the
- 16:36Speaker 2: general public's view of this. So I can't believe people
- 16:39Speaker 2: are being sucked into this team where it's just so
- 16:42Speaker 2: much about their season last year was fluky, like they
- 16:45Speaker 2: I think they beat maybe it was two winning teams.
- 16:50Speaker 2: I know it was one team with a winning record
- 16:51Speaker 2: in the regular season, and it was the Eagles with
- 16:54Speaker 2: Kenny Pickett. Like I'm trying to think of any other
- 16:56Speaker 2: team they'd beat with a winning record. I can't think
- 16:58Speaker 2: of one. So this is just the team that beat
- 17:00Speaker 2: up on bad teams and you know, respect to them,
- 17:03Speaker 2: like good coaching. You know, we talked about like that
- 17:06Speaker 2: was the greatest rookie season we've ever seen, and Daniels
- 17:09Speaker 2: deserves that respect. So I get why the public is
- 17:12Speaker 2: loving him while the media loves him, and you know,
- 17:14Speaker 2: people are already putting him as a top five quarterback and
- 17:18Speaker 2: like everyone's just drinking the cool are right now. And
- 17:20Speaker 2: it's just natural for that because we've never seen anything
- 17:23Speaker 2: like it, Like we never saw a rookies come in
- 17:25Speaker 2: an offense like he did last year and take them
- 17:26Speaker 2: to the NFC Championship game. Was incredible. So I get
- 17:30Speaker 2: from their standpoint why they're so high in the sky.
- 17:32Speaker 2: But you know, like we're talking about here, when you
- 17:34Speaker 2: dive into it, you see how fluky last year it was,
- 17:36Speaker 2: and then you look at this team here what they've
- 17:38Speaker 2: added to it. It feels like they just added a
- 17:41Speaker 2: bunch of old guys, Like yeah, adding Von Miller is
- 17:43Speaker 2: great because he's a leader and there's some things he
- 17:45Speaker 2: can do, but that's not a game changing piece. Debo.
- 17:49Speaker 2: I like the move because you're going down and you're
- 17:51Speaker 2: trying to make your team better. But haven't we seen
- 17:54Speaker 2: what Debo has become? Right, He's just not the same
- 17:56Speaker 2: type of player as he was before, and his aggressive
- 17:59Speaker 2: style it seems like a it adds to him getting
- 18:01Speaker 2: hurt more often than not. So there's just so many
- 18:03Speaker 2: questions here. And then the number one thing that really
- 18:05Speaker 2: is pissing me off is this whole McLaurin thing. I
- 18:07Speaker 2: don't get it. I don't get how these organizations, with
- 18:11Speaker 2: these billionaire billion dollar owners like Josh Harris to just
- 18:15Speaker 2: pay this man's money like what he Terry went through
- 18:18Speaker 2: the dark days of Washington. He's been there through all
- 18:21Speaker 2: the shit and you never heard a word from him,
- 18:24Speaker 2: and every year he would go out and put out
- 18:26Speaker 2: another thousand yard season and finally you get a quarterback
- 18:30Speaker 2: perfect for him, and you want to be tight about it.
- 18:33Speaker 2: I just I hate it. I hated so much for
- 18:37Speaker 2: this Washington team because this is the window, like you
- 18:40Speaker 2: got Daniels on this cheap money, pay pay mclauren. If
- 18:44Speaker 2: you're worried about his age because I don't know if
- 18:45Speaker 2: he's thirty one or thirty, give back a three year
- 18:48Speaker 2: deal there. Just make it all guarantee, like he deserves that,
- 18:51Speaker 2: all that money and then so he's just he doesn't
- 18:53Speaker 2: get hurt. He always plays hard, and I hate this
- 18:57Speaker 2: distracted from them. So yeah, someone that likes their under
- 19:00Speaker 2: this is all good. This is all good things like
- 19:01Speaker 2: this drama, all field stuff. So yeah, to me, commandage
- 19:05Speaker 2: right now, we haven't a plus plus two hundred and
- 19:09Speaker 2: twenty five to win this division. I got them at
- 19:12Speaker 2: plus four hundred. I actually have Dallas at plus three hundred,
- 19:15Speaker 2: So I am way off compared to with the books
- 19:18Speaker 2: in the general public thing of this division, where I
- 19:20Speaker 2: think Dallas is clearly the second best team miss division.
- 19:23Speaker 2: The general public and some professional betters really believe this
- 19:27Speaker 2: Washington team. So I think it's a big miss and
- 19:30Speaker 2: I think we're on the same page. We expect a
- 19:31Speaker 2: lot of regression from Jane Daniels, but it's really the schedule,
- 19:34Speaker 2: Like their schedule was just so much harder than it
- 19:37Speaker 2: was last year. I just I can't see a ward
- 19:39Speaker 2: where they get the ten wins. It just seems like
- 19:41Speaker 2: it's going to be impossible with how hard the schedule was,
- 19:44Speaker 2: how much luck they need to break their way.
- 19:46Speaker 1: I'm so glad to hear you say that, because when
- 19:49Speaker 1: I was taking a stand on this being my favorite
- 19:52Speaker 1: bet that they're under, I didn't know your rankings and
- 19:58Speaker 1: ratings had them at seven in and a half, which
- 20:00Speaker 1: two games, but you yeah, that's like one of the
- 20:05Speaker 1: biggest deltas we have here. So I'm feeling really good.
- 20:13Speaker 2: It's not knocking the talent of the team. I just
- 20:15Speaker 2: think it's just the schedule so tough, Like it's just
- 20:18Speaker 2: not like it was last year they had kind of.
- 20:20Speaker 1: They gotta they gotta play the teams in their division.
- 20:24Speaker 1: The Cowboys will be better. Yeah, they gotta play. They
- 20:27Speaker 1: gotta play. They gotta play the Cowboys twice. They got
- 20:30Speaker 1: to play the Eagles twice. They got to play the Chiefs,
- 20:34Speaker 1: they got to play the Vikings, they got to play
- 20:36Speaker 1: the Packers, they got to play the Lions.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Like it is not. Yeah, it's not. It's tough. So
- 20:43Speaker 2: that's that's my hesitation with them. People Like I get
- 20:47Speaker 2: why people are drinking the cool of that coming in,
- 20:49Speaker 2: but it's just it's the it's too Chad started at
- 20:51Speaker 2: the top of the show with it's who these who.
- 20:53Speaker 2: This conference plays outside their division, and with the way
- 20:56Speaker 2: their schedule breaks, it's just really tough for a young
- 20:58Speaker 2: team like this.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Dallas Cowboys six to one to win the Division, plus
- 21:04Speaker 1: six hundred Conference twenty five to one, Super Bowl fifty
- 21:07Speaker 1: to one win total, a paltry seven and a half.
- 21:12Speaker 4: Burning bright beneath the North Texas sky, in the heart
- 21:16Speaker 4: of the lone Star State is a galaxy of extraordinary
- 21:20Speaker 4: football players. They are the Dallas Cowboys.
- 21:26Speaker 1: So listen. You and I have talked about the Cowboys
- 21:29Speaker 1: a lot this offseason. We've liked their value in the
- 21:32Speaker 1: division all off season long. I bet them on the
- 21:36Speaker 1: money line to beat the Eagles in Week one. I
- 21:39Speaker 1: bet them at plus seven to beat the Eagles in
- 21:42Speaker 1: Week one, and before the Micah Parsons drama, this was
- 21:47Speaker 1: all yes, yes, yes, yes yes, And like you have
- 21:54Speaker 1: been very influential in reminding me how good Dak can
- 22:00Speaker 1: be and that he is coming back this year, so
- 22:04Speaker 1: we shouldn't be down on this team. And I kept
- 22:08Speaker 1: remembering that the defensive line last year was playing second
- 22:12Speaker 1: and third stringers. For a large part of the year,
- 22:15Speaker 1: and that Micah Parsons is hopefully when I was making
- 22:19Speaker 1: these plays, going to be back. Jerry Jones is fucking
- 22:23Speaker 1: this shit up you just talked about like Josh Harris Pey,
- 22:27Speaker 1: Terry McLaurin. This is changing the dynamic for me all
- 22:33Speaker 1: of a sudden. Micah Parsons, even if he plays, might
- 22:36Speaker 1: not be in shape. The offensive line keeps losing starters
- 22:39Speaker 1: to injury. Dak is a thirty one year old who's
- 22:42Speaker 1: clearly got creaky wheels, so he won't be as mobile
- 22:47Speaker 1: as he has been. George Pickens could be a temper
- 22:50Speaker 1: tantrum away from ruining Brian Schottenheimer's rookie season. I'm losing
- 22:54Speaker 1: all my enthusiasm.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Simon good we don't want you on this boat. So
- 23:00Speaker 2: it's no one likes this team. That's what's been so fun.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Like I remember when we did our live show, and
- 23:05Speaker 2: I feel like it was years ago. It is whatever
- 23:07Speaker 2: March or April, and I gave it. I was my
- 23:09Speaker 2: best bet the live show and it was it was
- 23:11Speaker 2: met by son of Booze and I am with you people.
- 23:14Speaker 2: We all hate Dallas, Dallas, you know, being the only
- 23:18Speaker 2: team the NFC not to make the NFC Championship game
- 23:21Speaker 2: in the last thirty years. It warms my cold cold heart.
- 23:25Speaker 2: I love it like it's it's the best thing ever.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Like that meme of you know, Eagles watching their Super
- 23:31Speaker 2: Bowl reel on a DVD or on YouTube and Cowboys
- 23:36Speaker 2: fans plugging in the VHS tape to watch their Super
- 23:38Speaker 2: Bowl reel. I love it. I drink it up, and
- 23:41Speaker 2: you know I hate that. I have to be the guy,
- 23:43Speaker 2: the Gifford you want to get in here. Let's hear
- 23:45Speaker 2: it concisely.
- 23:49Speaker 3: I don't think they're good enough anywhere offense, defense, but
- 23:57Speaker 3: I think there's enough there to get to eight. It's
- 24:00Speaker 3: probably looking like a classic Dallas Cowboys first round playoff
- 24:04Speaker 3: exit team, but that that's eight nine wins.
- 24:07Speaker 2: I just don't want upside.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Markets don't take good enough anywhere around the ball.
- 24:12Speaker 2: So and again I talked to a lot of Cowboys
- 24:15Speaker 2: fans because shockingly, people wouldn't believe if you're not from Philadelphia,
- 24:17Speaker 2: we have a shocking amount of Cowboys fans in this area.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Like when I go to a sports book even the offseason,
- 24:24Speaker 2: there's about a thirty percent chance I will see a
- 24:26Speaker 2: Dallas cowboy hat or jersey in the sports book at
- 24:29Speaker 2: any given time they are here and talking to them,
- 24:32Speaker 2: this is exactly the team. This is what you want.
- 24:34Speaker 2: They have no confidence. If you talk to a Cowboys
- 24:36Speaker 2: fan last year, holy shit, where they shit on this
- 24:39Speaker 2: Eagles team talking about how they were gonna run away
- 24:40Speaker 2: with this division, how they're the best. Now they're all out.
- 24:44Speaker 2: They do not like or trust this team. They're not
- 24:46Speaker 2: that confident. And I'm the other way where it's like,
- 24:50Speaker 2: this is the same Dallas team that's probably gonna get
- 24:52Speaker 2: the twelve wins or eleven wins. This is what they do.
- 24:55Speaker 2: And people can shoot on Dak for what he does
- 24:57Speaker 2: in the playoffs. I agree, and and we're not talking
- 25:00Speaker 2: about that. We're talking about regular season right now. I'm
- 25:02Speaker 2: talking about win totals. And this was when I hammered
- 25:06Speaker 2: and I was pissed my model. I was like, oh,
- 25:08Speaker 2: my model will have this at ten. It doesn't it
- 25:10Speaker 2: as an eight and a half because they do have
- 25:12Speaker 2: a tough schedule. That's cool, it's a game above. So
- 25:15Speaker 2: it's like, because I already invested really heavily before I
- 25:17Speaker 2: really ran and dove into it, because when it first opened.
- 25:20Speaker 2: I couldn't believe it. And then we saw when the
- 25:21Speaker 2: schedule came out, the books were kind of ahead of it, right,
- 25:24Speaker 2: Them having four Thursday games, it's criminal, like them playing
- 25:27Speaker 2: the Chiefs on a short week. That's brutal. But hear
- 25:31Speaker 2: me out here, Chad, let me paint this Dallas Cowboys
- 25:34Speaker 2: stealing this division pitcher and how they can get to
- 25:37Speaker 2: twelve wins. They start with the Eagles, say they steal
- 25:40Speaker 2: that game opening ing Doc always plays well against the Eagles,
- 25:43Speaker 2: and this is the perfect time to steal this type
- 25:45Speaker 2: of game, Like, no one's gonna be counted on them.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Everyone's out on them. I think they're still a seven
- 25:50Speaker 2: point dog. Dak Prescott's a seven point dog against the Eagles.
- 25:53Speaker 2: It's crazy. If they steal that game, then beat the Giants,
- 25:56Speaker 2: then beat Chicago, that's a three and oh start, that's
- 26:00Speaker 2: not that crazy. Then beating the Giants or Chicago. Okay,
- 26:03Speaker 2: Green Bay is their kryptonite, but that's at home. Okay,
- 26:06Speaker 2: I'll say they lose that game, then they go Jets,
- 26:09Speaker 2: Carolina Washington. They're Washington's daddy. So like to me, you're
- 26:14Speaker 2: looking at a team right here, they'd be sitting at
- 26:15Speaker 2: six and one head into Denver, so like it's all
- 26:19Speaker 2: laid out for me in my opinion of like, if
- 26:21Speaker 2: they can get out to a hot start, if they
- 26:22Speaker 2: can go seven and two headed into their bye week,
- 26:25Speaker 2: head into Vegas, it's all there because they literally go Vegas,
- 26:29Speaker 2: then they get affillate at home. Like it it lines
- 26:32Speaker 2: up for them early in the year that they could
- 26:33Speaker 2: if they can come out and play well, they can
- 26:35Speaker 2: easily see this division. I think people are two down
- 26:38Speaker 2: on DAK and this offense where Pickens with CD, I
- 26:42Speaker 2: don't think people wrap their heads around how Delhi vicmbo
- 26:45Speaker 2: this is going through big like Seawanenheimer could be a
- 26:47Speaker 2: full on fucking idiot, and it's gonna work. On offense.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I'm telling you it's gonna work because exactly what DAK
- 26:53Speaker 2: likes to do, which is run crow routes or slants
- 26:56Speaker 2: across the middle. Pickens is deadly, especially about fades too,
- 26:59Speaker 2: which is really deadly. And CD has never had that.
- 27:02Speaker 2: CDs always live with two or three shell cover. Now
- 27:05Speaker 2: you're going to get him maybe single cover sometimes it's
- 27:08Speaker 2: usually it's probably gonna still be double. But even that
- 27:11Speaker 2: he can beat the doubles. So I am just so
- 27:14Speaker 2: so so happy that this number is still plus six
- 27:17Speaker 2: hundred because I gave it U plus seven hundred, and
- 27:18Speaker 2: I thought for sure this would be plus five hundred,
- 27:21Speaker 2: plus four hundred by now. Still no one's drinking the
- 27:24Speaker 2: cool and everyone just hates this Dallas team. So yeah,
- 27:26Speaker 2: this even though I love the Eagles, I've I've hyped
- 27:28Speaker 2: it up. This is clearly my favorite value wised divisional
- 27:31Speaker 2: bet plus six hundred. It's amazing, amazing odds where I'm
- 27:35Speaker 2: telling you people, they are not that much worse than
- 27:37Speaker 2: the Eagles. I have him a plus three hundred for
- 27:38Speaker 2: this division and for a win total again, my model
- 27:41Speaker 2: has an eight and a half. I think this is
- 27:43Speaker 2: easily a ten win team, nine win team, so seven
- 27:46Speaker 2: and a half. It's one of my favorite totals. I've
- 27:48Speaker 2: been betting it for three months now. It's just it's
- 27:51Speaker 2: lined up for this team. I just even even with
- 27:53Speaker 2: the Parsons drama, I agree with you, this is what
- 27:56Speaker 2: Jerry does like. Jerry just does this type of thing.
- 27:58Speaker 2: So I'm with you. I wish it wasn't happen in
- 28:00Speaker 2: this way and it could get ugly quick, but as
- 28:02Speaker 2: we sit here right now, what is it, August twelfth,
- 28:04Speaker 2: August eleventh. I'm confident that if they get it done
- 28:07Speaker 2: the next week or two, that's plenty of time. Two
- 28:09Speaker 2: three weeks for Parsons to get into game shape before
- 28:11Speaker 2: this Eagles game. I think that's plenty of time. Where
- 28:13Speaker 2: he's been working out, but like you said, he's been
- 28:16Speaker 2: doing zero contact, which is an issue, like you need
- 28:19Speaker 2: to have contact in the preseason to get ready for
- 28:20Speaker 2: the upcoming season. So I'm with that's that's the only
- 28:23Speaker 2: reason I'm not all in this team. I think the
- 28:25Speaker 2: Eagles are still going to seal this win this division.
- 28:27Speaker 2: It's just it's it's the Jerry Jones effect. He just
- 28:29Speaker 2: there's so much extra bullshit that these other teams don't
- 28:32Speaker 2: have to deal with when you have Jerry Jones as
- 28:34Speaker 2: your owner.
- 28:35Speaker 4: Consistency is a cowboy trade bark underscored by winning seasons,
- 28:41Speaker 4: division titles, and world championship.
- 28:46Speaker 1: So, as has been the theme for the past couple
- 28:49Speaker 1: of shows, we're generally on the same side. I feel
- 28:53Speaker 1: like the things that you're discounting is not mattering. Specifically,
- 28:58Speaker 1: the Micah Parson stuff. He kind of glossed over offensive
- 29:01Speaker 1: line because I do think that offensive line injuries are
- 29:04Speaker 1: piling up for them already, and they were already having
- 29:07Speaker 1: to figure out what to do with an offensive line
- 29:11Speaker 1: that matters with a quarterback who's.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Negative offensive line brother in like three four years, Like
- 29:16Speaker 2: you're thinking.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Of what's getting hurt.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Yeah, but again he's every year they went twelve games,
- 29:23Speaker 2: Like last year was the anomaly he got hurt. I
- 29:26Speaker 2: think he was three and five when he got hurt,
- 29:27Speaker 2: like he was not playing well. I agree with you,
- 29:29Speaker 2: but like again, people have just moved too quick. Like
- 29:32Speaker 2: you didn't even have Dak in your top ten. You
- 29:35Speaker 2: you're out on me. I don't even you had him
- 29:36Speaker 2: your top fifteen. So that's what I mean. People are
- 29:38Speaker 2: just totally out on Dak in the team. Listen, you
- 29:42Speaker 2: didn't mention his name. You mentioned to his name rather
- 29:44Speaker 2: than mentioned that is well, I'm not letting you.
- 29:46Speaker 1: That is revisionist history. I had Dak at thirteen.
- 29:50Speaker 2: Yeah bullshit. So that's what I mean. It's just they
- 29:53Speaker 2: just line up as this team where people don't like
- 29:54Speaker 2: their head coach, they're all negative about it, and end
- 29:58Speaker 2: of the year they're going to have some how it
- 30:00Speaker 2: went some way, somehow they're gonna have double digit wins
- 30:03Speaker 2: and it's just the talent level is that high. I
- 30:05Speaker 2: think they just have so much talent. And my only
- 30:08Speaker 2: fear right now for this team is what you just
- 30:10Speaker 2: talked about the Parsons with that d line. If it's
- 30:13Speaker 2: a distraction, if they didn't, you know, add the right pieces,
- 30:16Speaker 2: they still can't stop the run. Yeah, their defense could
- 30:18Speaker 2: be atrocious, but that offense, man like Dak has the
- 30:22Speaker 2: ultimate weapons. And your question about their offensive line, they've
- 30:25Speaker 2: been drafting offensive linemen and they've got some guys in
- 30:27Speaker 2: there that I think, do you project out to be
- 30:29Speaker 2: pretty good? So that's why I'm not as worried about
- 30:31Speaker 2: them as you are. Where it's like, you know, if
- 30:34Speaker 2: you want to talk about bad offensive lines, I could
- 30:35Speaker 2: spend a half hour in Miami's offensive line. So it's
- 30:38Speaker 2: like you got to give and take with you certain
- 30:40Speaker 2: teams about I'm with you. There are some injuries, but yeah,
- 30:44Speaker 2: it's I think that with the weapons they have in Dallas,
- 30:48Speaker 2: I just I don't get why Washington's the second favorite
- 30:51Speaker 2: team this division. I just think it should be Dallas again.
- 30:54Speaker 2: As much of them going to Dallas here, still people
- 30:55Speaker 2: don't forget Eagles to win this division, still probably the
- 30:58Speaker 2: best bet at minus one four forty five.
- 31:00Speaker 1: New York Football Giants thirty to one to win the division,
- 31:03Speaker 1: seventy five to one to win the conference, two hundred
- 31:06Speaker 1: to one to win the Super Bowl win total five
- 31:09Speaker 1: and a half.
- 31:12Speaker 4: The New York Giants' glory years are a distant memory
- 31:15Speaker 4: for their long suffering followers who have endured through the
- 31:18Speaker 4: worst of time. But today anticipation has replaced frustration.
- 31:23Speaker 1: I've been grilling Ai constantly the last couple of weeks
- 31:27Speaker 1: about the advanced metrics. The best correlate to covering.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Oh that poor Ai.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Spread no matter anyway I slice it. Defense comes up,
- 31:37Speaker 1: and we talked about this with the Jets, right like
- 31:41Speaker 1: defense success rate, defensive EPA pressure rate. If the Giants
- 31:47Speaker 1: have Dexter Lawrence healthy in the middle of the defensive line,
- 31:52Speaker 1: they can be a very disruptive force. When they were
- 31:56Speaker 1: when he was healthy last year top ten and pressure
- 31:58Speaker 1: rate because as he commands so much attention, it made
- 32:02Speaker 1: life so much easier for Caveon Thibodeaux and Brian Burns.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Now they have Abdua Carter. So I was leaning to
- 32:10Speaker 1: the over and I think a lot of it is
- 32:14Speaker 1: similar to what you were saying about the Jets, Like
- 32:20Speaker 1: they have the scheme and they have the defense that
- 32:23Speaker 1: I think can be really impactful, and I kind of
- 32:26Speaker 1: have to believe that their quarterback, probably Russell Wilson, can
- 32:33Speaker 1: be competent enough to allow them to steal a couple
- 32:38Speaker 1: of games. Because they got the Commanders, Cowboys Chiefs to start.
- 32:43Speaker 1: Not easy, but then they got the Saints in Week four.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Then it gets hard again. Eagles Broncos, Eagles Niners. But
- 32:57Speaker 1: this defense makes it hard for me to commit it.
- 33:00Speaker 2: No, don't, don't overthink it. You just nailed it there.
- 33:03Speaker 2: They're dead. They are dead. They're in an impossible defense
- 33:07Speaker 2: and a possible division without a quarterback, like it's there.
- 33:11Speaker 2: When I first saw their schedule, I thought it was
- 33:12Speaker 2: a glitch. I was like, wait, this is the last
- 33:14Speaker 2: place schedule. Who's the last place teams they play like
- 33:19Speaker 2: it's the Saints. That's the one gift they get from
- 33:22Speaker 2: becoming in last place. It's brutal. Their schedule is brutal.
- 33:26Speaker 2: There is no it feels like there's no two weeks
- 33:28Speaker 2: of just relief, like they're they're the relief this year
- 33:32Speaker 2: for all all these different teams like this is just yeah,
- 33:35Speaker 2: their defensive line might be all right, and Russell Wilson,
- 33:38Speaker 2: sure he could steal a game, like Neighbors is an
- 33:40Speaker 2: incredible receiver. We've seen, you know, their head coach win
- 33:43Speaker 2: games with a guy that you know shouldn't even be
- 33:46Speaker 2: in the league. Like it's they they do have good
- 33:48Speaker 2: coaching and they do have talent across the defense. I'm
- 33:50Speaker 2: with you, I want to get into it, but you know,
- 33:52Speaker 2: Andrew Thomas, their best offensive line is already hurt. Like
- 33:55Speaker 2: that's that's a nightmare. Me and you talked about last year.
- 33:58Speaker 2: We didn't put a single dollar on them he went
- 34:00Speaker 2: down because we were just like, they're never whoever's quarterback
- 34:03Speaker 2: there is just gonna die. And that's what happened in
- 34:05Speaker 2: the season. So it's it sucks. We're like people obviously
- 34:10Speaker 2: have seen a pattern here. I love betting the worst
- 34:11Speaker 2: teams in divisions because it's always you always gonna lie
- 34:14Speaker 2: to yourself in a lot and and kind of think
- 34:16Speaker 2: to yourself, they can find six wins, like you know,
- 34:20Speaker 2: there's there's ways to get there. But with this team,
- 34:23Speaker 2: despite what Chad said, which is true, like they have
- 34:25Speaker 2: probably one of the best two lines in all football.
- 34:28Speaker 2: They might have one of the worst secondaries in all football.
- 34:31Speaker 2: They might have one of the worst offensive lines of football.
- 34:33Speaker 2: They don't have a running back. Like, what the hell
- 34:36Speaker 2: is That Dude's name is Cam Skattaboo. He's fun. I
- 34:39Speaker 2: love watching his college highlights. That dude looks like he
- 34:42Speaker 2: runs a five, like a five point oh forty like
- 34:45Speaker 2: he I don't know if he's gonna be the game changer.
- 34:47Speaker 2: They need it running back. And you know, as much
- 34:49Speaker 2: as we love neighbors, teams were happy to let neighbors
- 34:53Speaker 2: be the only guy to beat them. Right last year
- 34:55Speaker 2: we saw that where they would get up by twenty
- 34:58Speaker 2: and you can stop doubling Neighbors get his junk time yards.
- 35:01Speaker 2: So it's it's just a team where I can't find
- 35:04Speaker 2: five wins, let alone four wins. They just they screamed
- 35:08Speaker 2: to be top of the draft type of team. And
- 35:10Speaker 2: if I was them, I would just start dart from
- 35:12Speaker 2: get go. Like to me, he had one throw in
- 35:15Speaker 2: the preseason. That's all I needed to see where it's like, Okay,
- 35:18Speaker 2: this kid's raw. He might not know how it takes
- 35:20Speaker 2: snaps from under center and come in an offense, but
- 35:23Speaker 2: let's just get him out there and let the bullets fly.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Let him just get through it, because if he can
- 35:27Speaker 2: show something, then you keep him. If not, you're gonna
- 35:30Speaker 2: once again have a top two, top three draft pick.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Like this, there's just no way this team is outside
- 35:34Speaker 2: that draft zone. So it's it's dark days right now
- 35:38Speaker 2: for Giants fans, Like, it's just you're in a division
- 35:41Speaker 2: now with Jane Daniels, Dak, and Jalen Hurts, which I mean,
- 35:45Speaker 2: I think Chad's come around on Dak a little, but
- 35:46Speaker 2: he probably would say Dak's close to a top ten quarterback.
- 35:49Speaker 2: That's brutal. You're in a division with three potential top
- 35:52Speaker 2: ten quarterbacks. You're so far behind the eight ball. So yeah,
- 35:56Speaker 2: I did. I wanted to get there with you Giants
- 35:59Speaker 2: fans and find wins for you guys. If I look
- 36:01Speaker 2: at it, I'm just like, if they got the three
- 36:04Speaker 2: wins this year, that to me would be a good
- 36:05Speaker 2: season for this Giants team. That's how brutal of the
- 36:08Speaker 2: schedule is, and that's how bad their team is when
- 36:10Speaker 2: I plug them into my model. So I gotta have
- 36:12Speaker 2: four wins if you get over three tons of respect
- 36:16Speaker 2: to this team. But yeah, five and a half. I'll
- 36:18Speaker 2: take that under every time if it's a game and
- 36:20Speaker 2: a half. So yeah, there it should be. They're two
- 36:22Speaker 2: hundred and one to win the super Bowl. That that
- 36:24Speaker 2: that sounds right. They are that bad nightmare schedule. Yeah,
- 36:30Speaker 2: Like if you're a season ticket a order, I would
- 36:32Speaker 2: take the year off from a Giants fan like this.
- 36:34Speaker 1: I was shocked when I went through the schedule and
- 36:37Speaker 1: I looked at it. I'm like, this is fucking insane.
- 36:41Speaker 2: How was this the last play schedule?
- 36:42Speaker 1: I couldn't How do they do this to somebody? Yeah,
- 36:46Speaker 1: the scriptwriters did not get the memo that you gotta
- 36:50Speaker 1: make one of the marquee teams in the biggest city
- 36:54Speaker 1: have a little bit of a fighting chance.
- 36:57Speaker 2: It's it's they're just again, they're in a really brutal vision.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Our outside division games this year are just awful. Like
- 37:03Speaker 2: it's just like you said, playing playing the AFC North,
- 37:07Speaker 2: or yeah, it's AFC North playing the AFC West. It
- 37:10Speaker 2: doesn't get much worse.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Favorite division bet for you it's the Eagles minus one
- 37:15Speaker 1: forty five and then maybe a little taste of the Cowboys.
- 37:18Speaker 2: It that's Cowboy's definitely best value for long shot.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Six to one. I like the Commanders under nine and
- 37:25Speaker 1: a half total wins. The Favorites will return with our
