- 0:14[SPEAKER_03]: As it builds mafia, Lance Nelson here to my left, Scott Casson to my right Benjamin Schupe.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_03]: Terry McCleuron officially requests a trade.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to the bills, right, guys.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_03]: It's up to you.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_02]: Nothing much, another much.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, one can obviously hope, but I would be very, very shocked if
- 0:36[SPEAKER_02]: If he doesn't get treated, it is to the bills.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_02]: But yet, either way, excited to kind of see some of how some of these things roll out with some of these players.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we still got three hundred extenders that is reporting now, even though he still got his contract extension up in the air, but luckily the bills don't have anybody that they have to worry about rushing a trade or threatening to skip out on K.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: He's not getting traded.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: Just out of the game works.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_00]: You hold out and then you hold in and then you request the trade and then they pay.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: They're not trading them and it's definitely not to the bills.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: They would have to do some major capture masks to make that work.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: But in the happier news, we got football to buy real life NFL almost football.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: I think we got trade layouts and DJ Uey on goal away battling it out battle of once to big time prospects.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's starting in the whole of India.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_00]: So it tells you where they're careers went.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_00]: But we got football to watch.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: We got balls on a field in guys hidden each other.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm excited about it.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_03]: hopefully there's feet on the field and not too many balls.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, anyway, I think that super excited that an NFL football game will be played tonight.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_03]: You mentioned very strong pronunciation there.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not even going to try so that you already won the day with that.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_03]: So congratulations to Scott for being a great answer.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_03]: So I pronounce that name quite a lot.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, I'm humble.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_03]: So
- 2:10[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Terry McClure and obviously would be a fantastic idea.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know whether he'll be traded or not.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_03]: I don't believe the bills will be getting his services at any point in his career probably, but it's fun to think about for five minutes before you shoot yourself after reality.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go through.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: There's a little bit of a changer to it.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_00]: Just, uh, so it's a key Higgins, Deepo Samuel.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_00]: Brandon, I, you all requested trades and then none were traded in their contract negotiations.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_00]: So happens all the time.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_00]: He, but obviously got traded later, but it's just how the game plays.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: So no one get too excited.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_03]: I'm already excited to late and uh, definitely coming to Buffalo.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: So uh, yeah, X season, I think they will.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_03]: That'd be great.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, it would be super cool.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_03]: He's a really great player, but starting to get on the wrong side of father time.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll see how that all works out.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_03]: Training camp.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_03]: So the paths came on this week.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, we're going to have the blue red scrimmage tomorrow.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_03]: I'll be there with my son Theo, so I'm not sure I'll actually watch any of it, but we'll try to get some eyes on some guys that see what happens.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_03]: Always interesting with a five-year-old out there, so one year we had a great turnout in like Izzy and Peter Dbiasi, and I think I don't know if we saw you there bent, were you in the whole group and everything?
- 3:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, I think I ended up meeting up with you guys during it.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_03]: right exactly so like Peter's why our Peter's girlfriend is that was that what you know helping watch the oh my mom was there so it was a great house actually I'm gonna watch the most of it but this year's gonna be so low dad with a five-year-old so we'll see off the keep him on my shoulders hopefully to get some eyes on the game a little bit but training camp's rolling on and it's like the pads came on and some injuries popped up so let's just go through that a little bit guys Max Harrison
- 4:12[SPEAKER_03]: Spray and LCL was a little bit of a scary thing that we had to wait quite a bit.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_03]: We waited over twenty four hours.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_03]: I believe before anything and really got confirmed.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_03]: And it was just a little bit of a, you know, holding your breath type of situation, luckily probably the best prognosis we could hope for really two to four week recovery time.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_03]: So just talk a little bit about how relieved you may have been that the bill is kind of dodged a bullet there.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it didn't look good.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: Whenever you hear non-contact in the injury, you always think the worst.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: So like you said, probably best case scenario, just the sprained LCL, probably the least valuable of the CLs, anyway.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: So who needs it?
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: But two to four weeks, gonna be back, we'll miss probably all of training camp.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: Well, training camp probably all the pre-season, but sounds like it should be in line to be back for week one with how good tray quality does look to this training camp.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: He probably wasn't gonna be the week one starter anyway.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: So obviously, it sucks that he's going to miss all of these reps, but could have been a lot worse.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: And hopefully it doesn't slow down as rookie season too much.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: Probably on a similar schedule to a coal bishop was on last year.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that shoulder injury in camp, missed most of the camp.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_00]: They brought him along slow and his reps went out every week and then by the end, he was starting sometimes.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: And so that was kind of more out of necessity.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: But Max Harrison, you know, probably start him off slow.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: He plays more every week every week and then maybe by week.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: five, six, seven, if things are going well, you can take over that starting position, or who knows?
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe Tray White looks like twenty seventeen out there and doesn't give it up.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, definitely relieved.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's not an ACL sad for that he's going to miss.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: Preseason, but could have been way worse.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's probably the only time that
- 5:59[SPEAKER_02]: you'll be happy to hear about a spring to LCL for like a player or happy about a certain injury, just because, you know, obviously there were the scares about the tornadoes.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: So it is very good news that it is not.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_02]: So, I mean, it's, it's, it, things, these things happen.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_02]: You obviously hope it doesn't happen to a first round pick.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_02]: The bills have obviously dealt with injuries in the past.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_02]: And then like Scott said, they do have plans, especially for when it comes to, you know, rookies, maybe easing them in, especially, you know,
- 6:30[SPEAKER_02]: with an injury that we use him back in.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, definitely big news that it's not the torn ACL.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_02]: We should wasn't anything, but at the end of the day, you're happy.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_02]: I guess that it's a spring DLCL.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_03]: I don't even know if I have LCLs, me also good, but I guess we'll roll on from there.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm super happy that Max is going to be able to get back and not miss a full year.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_03]: So
- 6:56[SPEAKER_03]: we'll go with that and be thankful for sure.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_03]: Are all the injuries in a whole as a whole, excuse me, a concern for you guys for me, I'd say, I'm about like, if it was a month later than I'd be concerned about all these guys right now, but I think like it's sort of common, there's a lot of injuries out there sort of at this point in some training camps and I think like,
- 7:24[SPEAKER_03]: Guys are going to get rest days.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_03]: They're going to be conservative like I'm not overly concerned or concerned really at all that that these guys are missing some time right now.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_03]: Also kind of gives.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_03]: I will talk about a couple of scenarios where this is happening just gives some guys that we wouldn't really see.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_03]: some chances, right?
- 7:44[SPEAKER_03]: So I think that overall from an injury standpoint, I'm not super concerned for the team's health currently.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think?
- 7:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, I'm not really concerned.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_02]: One, it's football.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_02]: These two things do happen.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_02]: You wish they didn't, but they do.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, like you said, it's tomorrow's going to be August first.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_02]: So they got time for a lot of these guys to heal up.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: As long as it's nothing, you know, serious, obviously we just talked about hairston and the
- 8:17[SPEAKER_02]: the threat of it being serious or you hope that there's nothing else like that this next month or so or next honestly five six months you hope that there's nothing like that but yeah I mean it's it's part of the game happens with every team I know some some people will think oh it's the bills their curse so many players get injured just look around the league man I mean there's teams
- 8:40[SPEAKER_02]: left and right guys are going down right by as I'm pretty sure Dolphins corner back one towards ACL.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_02]: So it, you know, it, this happens.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's football.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_02]: That's physical game sucks that it does happen.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm not really concerned.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_02]: I'll be concerned if there is a player though that does get a serious injury.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, throughout the next six months, but especially in the next few months or a few weeks, gliding into week one.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, obviously you'd prefer no injuries, but just not how it works.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: None of the user are that serious as you guys both said, which is great.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I think like John said here, the bills are just being cautious.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: There's no need to push things yet.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: If this was during the season, I bet a lot of guys would be practicing in some kind of a limited capacity to try and play, but you're not going to win the Super Bowl on July, thirty first or August first, like Ben said.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: Is it ideal though, but it doesn't sound like anybody is gonna miss any game time?
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: And when you go no matter how hard you train in the offseason, when you go from not practicing with the team, not going full speed to all sudden going full speed every day in NFL training camp, we're gonna have some soft tissue injuries, that's just how it goes no matter how hard you train in the offseason.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_00]: So guys are gonna get healthy, guys are gonna ramp up and hopefully all of these guys are back.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: in the near future and they get a good training camp and then are good for week one.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_00]: But no, it's not a reason to really be concerned yet.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: You just hope that you start to slow down as guys get up to speed and get ramp up.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, hundred percent agree.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_03]: Like I say, if it's a few weeks into this August here, we're going to definitely ramp up the concern level, but as it stands now, I think most of it
- 10:26[SPEAKER_03]: being at the level it's added is not overly concerning.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_03]: The bills brought back some familiar faces today, or this week, I should say, Dioncane, White receiver and Cameron Klein defensive lineman.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_03]: What do you guys think of the two and how likely is it that they might stick around here and Buffalo it all for the season?
- 10:56[SPEAKER_03]: Scott, I'm glad I'm glad with this one.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_00]: So you know if either one of them stick on I know the on cane had a really good UFO season he's been on the practice squad in the past they both been on the practice squad in the past but most likely these just can't for preseason bodies He had guys at the bottom of the roster get hurt so they brought guys on
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: And unfortunately, for these guys, because they're both solid football players, the bills are just so deep, especially at receiver and on the D-Line.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: So they would have to really show out to make any kind of an impact.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they have a chance of getting on the practice squad, but even that might be kind of a long shot because they have guys they like.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, that's the price you pay when you have a team this good.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: They're just really deep at positions and guys are going to filter out at the bottom.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_00]: Bottom of that roster, probably not going to be here when the season comes around.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_00]: You never know, but it would be a long shot for you to one of the bad things.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm going to be honest.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_02]: Don't have too much to add.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_02]: The most Scott you said pretty much now that they're really when it comes to cane, maybe he sticks around on the practice squad if they want to keep her receiver like like cane.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_02]: But Klein, I mean, it's it's just the D line is so stacked and it's so deep that I just don't see a way of him even making the practice squad.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't think either of them will be stuck around on the practice squad.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, just camp out.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to get guys in there that you know are good athletes and, you know, be able to compete still.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_02]: So they'll at least be able to bring that to the table for the next few weeks.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_02]: But unfortunately, I don't see them sticking around and above all those uniform.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I agree.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_03]: I think, you know, Kane could be a practice squad.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_03]: Like you mentioned, the dude was top three in most categories in receiving in the UFL for what it's worth.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_03]: And like, twenty nine catches for five hundred and fourteen yards.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_03]: So he was like yards per reception yards per game.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_03]: That kind of thing were high, but pretty low actual reception total in the tops in the league was sixty two.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_03]: So like,
- 13:01[SPEAKER_03]: Less than half of that and still more yards than the guy, which is pretty impressive actually.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, you know, has has some impressive impressive flashes here and there in camp, but you know, it is.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_03]: training camp, we don't know what they're working on during those times, and it's nice to see him continuously get the opportunity here.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_03]: It wouldn't surprise me if he was able to stick on the NFL somewhere at some point, given his best when he drops down to a lower level of competition, seems to be able to rise at the top in that scenario, but then gets back to the top level of competition and in sort of practice squad to lower end of a roster type of guy.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_03]: So maybe somebody
- 13:45[SPEAKER_03]: can can give them a spot or if things go completely wrong, maybe he'll have more of an impact in Buffalo than we'd ever expect, which I hope to not be the case, not gonna wood here.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_03]: Tyler Bass dealing with pelvic soreness.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_03]: Do you think they're going to bring another?
- 14:03[SPEAKER_03]: Are they going to bring in Miles Finch?
- 14:07[SPEAKER_03]: The Miles Finch?
- 14:10[SPEAKER_03]: No, but do you think they'll bring another kicker in?
- 14:14[SPEAKER_03]: They had two punters in at some point and had to release one with the numbers.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_03]: It's probably hard just
- 14:19[SPEAKER_03]: kind of let Tyler go through this.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_03]: I listen to the presser from the special team, Scotch, the other day, and he had pretty good praise for Tyler.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not super concerned, but I don't know too much about this injury.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_03]: So what do you guys say when it comes to Tyler, Bass's injury in the pelvic area?
- 14:42[SPEAKER_02]: And unless it lasts until a week or two for the season, I don't see them bringing in anybody in unless I really lingers from again, I also don't know too much about pelvic awareness that don't you don't really hear that one a lot when it comes to the NFL.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, we'll see if they bring somebody in, if they bring somebody and that does tell me they do have some concern with it and concern with Tyler Bass.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_02]: You know, if they don't, then it just kind of tells, you know, especially over the next two weeks, I think they would bring somebody and if they have some concern, but if they don't, then that kind of just tells me they're good.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_02]: They know he'll be good.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_02]: And he should be starting kick a week one and going forward.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, kind of a shaky day couple days ago before they kind of shut them down.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe that had something to do with it.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: I'd be surprised if they bring in another kicker like you guys said, it's got to let them get through this and Tyler passes the kicker.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: You know that.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_00]: So no real need to bring somebody else in unless you're afraid maybe you won't have one for the first preseason game.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: Then maybe you do.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, just kind of let them work through it.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_00]: Like we said earlier, just kind of being cautious with everybody, Tyler Bass concluded because he is a big part of this team.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: And you got to shake, he start to last season.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_00]: He was awesome down the stretch.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_00]: So you hope that that carries over into this year and he's the kicker for years to come.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't think they bring anybody else in unless we get to next weekend when it's preseason game time.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's like who's kicking?
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: Josh offers to do it.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: And then we all say no.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_03]: Ken, I think ready, William, should just, yeah, then he can't cover.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_03]: No, the kicker still can cover, right?
- 16:19[SPEAKER_00]: Um, only if they like break it down.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because it was the Ocho Cinco could kick and then who is it was the it's the Eric Barry he could kick right the safety for the chiefs like.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_00]: They still are going to have him kicking off.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_02]: Like if we've all last because they did not have on kickoffs or kickoffs solely I'm pretty sure last year they did not have buck or kicking off and they had read kicking off.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_00]: That'd be impressive so I don't think he was on the chiefs last season.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_00]: I don't believe that that was the case but I know they did like once in a blowout in the preseason but they did not do that.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_03]: Definitely some interesting discussion though.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_03]: I think when we first implemented that new kickoff rule, that was the big discussion of like, okay, well, our kicker is going to remain in that position, or will you have someone who might be able to get it, you know,
- 17:21[SPEAKER_03]: to the five consistently, you know, kick off a to force of return and be to have someone that can actually tackle somebody in any stand in scenario or someone broke one through the through the ranks.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_03]: So definitely interesting.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_03]: Who has impressed us most so far in training camp?
- 17:44[SPEAKER_03]: I'll start tray white coming out looking young again refreshed says it's good to be home and It's super cool.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_03]: I like watching the press conferences and I was telling Scott off the air here that like
- 18:01[SPEAKER_03]: We know these guys don't give us a lot in these press conferences, but it's just nice to hear them talk, nice to hear their, you know, see their mannerisms and sort of like, give you a view into their life and trace just one of those guys.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_03]: You just loved to sit and watch talk to the media for me.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_03]: I like it and, you know, he's one of those guys.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously that came in and broke the drought and he's got a special place for Bill's mafia.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_03]: I think and
- 18:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah nice to see him out there said he has his legs like it's just it's really cool it's something I didn't really expect I guess I mean I knew he was going to be decent out there but I didn't really expect him to be stellar like I think he's been pretty stellar so far through the through the camp.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's a guy if he's fully healthy, he can make a difference because last season second half of the Ravens he played pretty well at everybody saw him struggle with the Rams, but I don't think he was healthy.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: He's coming off for the kill using before that coming up in ACL.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: So awesome to see tray having a good start and hopefully that goes over.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: For me, Deon Walker, fourth round pick, big defensive tackle.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: If you see him standing next to the conjoins or at all, he makes them look small.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_00]: He is a guy if before, if he came out last season, he could have been a first round pick.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_00]: That was some back injuries this past year, maybe dropped him in the draft a little bit, but if he can stay healthy, he can be a stud in six, seven.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: three, four, and he moves really well.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_00]: He's not just, you know, a block eater like some other one techniques, like he can move his feet.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_00]: So excited to see him and maybe see him get a bigger role while Ogon Jovis has found it over those first six weeks.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe he can carve out a nice spot in the rotation.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm impressed with Josh Allen.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm joking.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously we're all impressed with Josh Allen.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a person with Matt Milano.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, we all knew he was a great football player, but just some of the things that you've seen her read about whatever you have, has sounds like he's ready to have another all proceeds and like top tier one of the best linebackers in the game back to when we saw him as one of the best linebackers in the game.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm gonna go with him.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_02]: I know we're gonna, it still is very early, but you know, you see him flying all around the field.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_02]: Heard him just making plays, reading the ball.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm excited, I know we talked about, I believe it was last week we talked about the line back in duo.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just how excited we are for this duo of Matt Malano and Trial Bernard, if they can fully stay healthy, again, big if, but if they can stay healthy for the entire season.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_02]: and how they could potentially be the best linebacking duo in league.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_02]: And Milano showing like he can be back to what we knew he can be.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm very excited because one of my favorite players throughout this entire time here and hoping that he can return to that all program for the bills to see.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, sir.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_03]: My son was playing the drum right above me at times.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_03]: I wasn't sure how it would come through the audio.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm muted and then here we are.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_03]: So Honorable mention, Jackson Haulman.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_00]: I think.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_00]: Haven Thio on said.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_03]: I know.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_03]: Jackson Haul is definitely impressive.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_03]: So far, just how nasty he is and how kind of cold even when the old thing went down with happiness of there, just kind of
- 21:33[SPEAKER_03]: You know, laughed at off after happened as it came back and you know, sucked him in the face so super super impressive for the young dude so far and getting some reps in line at the tight end position and
- 21:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we all know that Benford is really good.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_03]: So it's not really, uh, surprising.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_03]: I guess he could be impressive, but he's just, you know, kind of expected to be that good.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_03]: So maybe that's why it's less impressive to us.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_02]: He'll doesn't have a top ten madman rating for cornerbacks, which is wild, uh, is what it's madman rating.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: They're all name recognition.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_00]: We're not a jet.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_03]: later the week two week one week two.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's come get it in there that the jets actually have a higher rated team has been the bills.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_02]: Which is I think the Browns do too.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_02]: With their five quarterbacks combined just made them better.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so who concerned you the most I guess so far.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_03]: Shoot you have a guy or you want to start with Scott.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_02]: For me, I mean, I'm not sure if there's anybody that really stands out.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_02]: Coleman was a guy who at least at first, you heard the first day had a rough day, but he sounds like he's picking it right back up and now it's being very impressive.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_02]: So there's not really anybody that's for me standing out of ton.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I don't really have a specific answer.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_02]: I guess just the injuries are honestly the thing that's the most concerning and not even really concerned about it.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_02]: So not a lot for me being concerned right now.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_03]: Good positivity, Ben.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_03]: Scott.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_00]: for me again don't have like one particular but special teams as a whole Tyler Bass not being able to kick obviously isn't great only have one ponder and it's Brad Robbins and he was drafted out of Michigan and I think by the bangles a couple years ago but I think he was like statistically the worst ponder in the NFL maybe we're just not gonna punt which would be pretty cool and I've been playing on TWA you know I don't want my one two national championship for the back to go state so like maybe it's not a bad strategy
- 23:44[SPEAKER_00]: And then also returner, you know, they don't have necessarily that guy who's going to be the returner.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_00]: Padrington is back, but I don't think he makes the team just based on the journey.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and just based on the number of guys that they have to find spots for someone who's only a returner that can't do anything else.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think makes the team there.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: So Keon can return punch, she here can return points, but you really want your wanted to receivers returning points just because it's more chances for them to get banged up and more ways to kind of tired them out kick returner.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_00]: is going to matter more this year with touchdowns going to the thirty five.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_03]: So I think that Davis and Tai Johnson can make a big impact at the kick return position, not necessarily.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_00]: They can't.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_00]: I think that'll end up using back there.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe should all have it really hurt his name at all, which when you're a guy on the bubble, probably not great.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_03]: So I just heard a fact, yesterday, right?
- 24:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think he came back earlier than that, didn't he?
- 24:43[SPEAKER_03]: Was it two days ago, maybe?
- 24:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, why anyway, like it's not even worse, like, you know, the best can't make the club in the tub.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: That's what they say.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, and the special teams as a whole and several out of question marks there.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, mine's a cool bishop because I think the quad injury pops up here and hopefully it's one of those things that just isn't nagging and kind of goes, you know, kind of goes away, but you just have concern because the secondary does tend to get banged up season after season, the way they play their physical style just lens to that.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_03]: And so to have the quad pop up now, hopefully again, you just need a little bit of rest and get through it.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_03]: And we come out of this thing with a fully healthy starting defensive backfield.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_03]: But we'll see how it plays out.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_03]: I just, you know, would be nice if he didn't get hurt or wasn't hurt again this preseason.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_03]: He's he's missing some time again.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_03]: And I think he just needs the reps.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_03]: And we'll see.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I guess that's
- 25:52[SPEAKER_03]: If I'm saying overall concern, it's not a major concern, it's just a matter of hoping for the best in that position of safety.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I've got to go all the way to week one until after week one and then got for bid.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_03]: If the bills don't wait in week one, you hear about it all the way through until the bills ultimately end the raven season again for the final thought played out last year.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_03]: So anyway, the.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_03]: The bills have cleared Spencer Brown to return the practice.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_03]: So that's some good news there at least and I'm hopeful that like we said, there's a lot of guys making their way back.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_03]: So what do you guys make of Spencer Brown getting back on the field?
- 26:49[SPEAKER_02]: Always good news.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_02]: Always good to have a have a somebody back on the field, especially you're starting right tackle.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_02]: Get him out there.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_02]: Get him helping Josh Allen, James Kirk.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_02]: And even though it would be kind of interesting to see, you got like, like, Grable get the chance.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, you hope that you don't at least this season.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, maybe down the line of Grable and stuff is still improving, but yeah, it's, uh, you, you want to have some variable time though already, right?
- 27:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's good that he got that time, but you know, you want the guy that you, you've paid to be right tackle to be out there.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_02]: And, uh,
- 27:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, glad he's back and glad it's hopefully it's not something that winters.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_02]: I don't believe it was supposed to be something that threatened to threaten the winner.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, surgery.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_00]: So I think it's kind of a career-lingering thing.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's just managing it.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_00]: So it doesn't like it.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_00]: Because that's why he kind of fell in the draft and there would be concerns about it because the back issues.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: But he seems to have figured them out.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, hopefully it doesn't linger because it's been like you're in.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_03]: All right, if you guys haven't done so, please like and share this on Facebook and X repost on X and go on over to YouTube, get in the comments if you're on X and like and share this as well.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_03]: Subscribe to that built in Buffalo YouTube page and help us gain traction in that algorithm.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_03]: So we are sponsored by Monster Energy, the official energy partner of built in Buffalo.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_03]: go out and grab a beast and unleash the beast to find any issues like Celsius with monster.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you that.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_03]: No vodka in the monster unless it's labeled as such.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_03]: There is a alcoholic monster beverage to be had if you're into that.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_00]: Can we get those for the tailgate?
- 28:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, maybe I know.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_03]: probably a liability thing and it would be all for you because I don't drink so that'd be a great I'm like the worst bill's mafia member.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_03]: I don't even drink like I don't know how to be part of bill's mafia know.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry there's plenty of bills mafia that doesn't bring out there so but definitely but yeah let's get into the offense though and we'll get before we get into a little bit of defends later on
- 29:06[SPEAKER_02]: With the offense, there's not really too much to talk about when it comes to Josh Allen, obviously, or the quarterback room, kind of know what that's like running backs.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_02]: You kind of can't really talk too much about, be it until they really get started and it started in the preseason.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_02]: You see, the lines set and up and how the running backs are running in practice.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_02]: It's a little bit different because they're not really going one hundred percent in practice.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so let's do talk about the the past catch with a little bit first guy with the one talk about.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_02]: I talked about him a little bit earlier.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_02]: I almost talked about him as my uh my guy who's concerning me, but he's hasn't been really someone to be concerned about recently.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_02]: And that's Kian Coleman did have, you know, as I said, a pretty rough day one.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, for more you heard, but seems like we're on out.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_02]: He's really picked it up.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know, you heard all offseason how he really took care of himself and took kind of brand of brings criticism to heart.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_02]: And he's coming back, you're, I said, believe you found the end zone today from Josh Allen.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_02]: There's a nice video of that.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, you're just, you're feeling like can, Coleman could take a, a sizable jump here.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_02]: And so what do you guys think about just him in general and what are your kind of expectations from keep where you're hearing and camp going into the regular season?
- 30:17[SPEAKER_02]: We'll start with you Scott.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I really excited about Kia.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_00]: After a day one, I was ready to block the word separation from my Twitter because I was sick of seeing it.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, Kia has been great.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, we'll have to wait until you play against somebody else.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_00]: But sounds like he's been winning routes.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_00]: He's been making his contested catches, which is what he's always going to do.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_00]: Because that's what the bill's brought him into deal.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_00]: But his route running seems to be CRISPR.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_00]: He's never going to be a burner.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_00]: But if he runs good technical routes, he can get open down the field.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_00]: And it really sounds like he's taking that step forward to be that extra seaver, which the bills really need him to do.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_00]: Because they brought in a few guys, but they didn't bring in a true number of wanted.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_00]: If Keyon can be that ex-receiver that outside guy who was able to win at the point of the catch and contested catches and then just get open and routes down the field, be huge for this often.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_00]: So excited for Keyon, glad to see that all he took, Brendan Bean's words to heart has passed off season, put in the work, and I think he could have a big year in this offense because we saw what a guy likes to find digs to it.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, Keyon is not to find digs, but it is an offense that can
- 31:23[SPEAKER_00]: can work with a number one receiver.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_00]: So excited for Keon Coleman and hope that this continues to to go as we reach September and later down the year.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, showing great balance and concentration and the strength at the catch point was seemingly very good on that one play where he beats Dean Jackson.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_03]: So I think he's showing that and that's going to be literally his strength is being a strong player at the point of the catch and continuing to show that he can keep his balance when people are trying to knock him off his spot.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_03]: And so far, in camp, he's done a pretty good job of that.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_03]: He's had a couple of loft days and most days have been pretty good.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_03]: So I think that Keon Coleman looking good is certainly music to my ears, a guy who was questioning the draft choice, you know, said before the draft that was a prospect that I wish the bills could avoid, but new in the back of my mind, they were probably strongly targeting him.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, happy to see him do well.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_03]: His press conference, he seemed like he's just like, man, I'm just working my butt off here and you know, didn't really seem super enthused with the media this past one where normally he's kind of a character and it's been later-hearted.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_03]: He seems like he's dialed in really focused on what he's got to do here.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_03]: So that's
- 32:47[SPEAKER_03]: Everything I've seen from him so far.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_03]: I've liked even the bad days.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_03]: He's responded very well.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_03]: So got to take some bad with the good there.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, you're hoping that he could take that step.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_02]: He showed flash flash share at certain times and maybe it will be the guy that for me at least wouldn't know.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_02]: It's likely to be that third guy in targets and receptions this year, behind maybe Shakira and Kim K.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_02]: So hopefully, you know, maybe he can make a jump into that and solidify himself for being a guy that Josh Allen will love for the future.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see about Ken Coleman, but looking good so far, looking good early.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_02]: And then the next two up that we got here, you know, we've talked a little bit about like the end of the order battle and past few shows, but we haven't talked too much about Josh Palmer.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_02]: Talked a lot about Elijah Moore as well, but Elijah Moore, Josh Palmer, both a little bit banged up, but more you, we've been hearing.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_02]: They seem to be flowing well.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_02]: They seem to be getting open.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_02]: Josh Palmer, I've heard really great things about this entire time about just Josh being able to find him and get open.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_02]: So what do you guys want to come to those two expecting?
- 33:57[SPEAKER_02]: Are your expectations for Palmer and more going up or kind of stay and sit around the same mark that they were at?
- 34:06[SPEAKER_02]: about two, three weeks ago.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think, Lance?
- 34:08[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm just going to admit, I didn't realize how cerebral Josh Palmer is.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_03]: And you know, hearing what Joe Brady had to say about him, hearing him speak himself and seeing the way he speaks, it kind of gives you a look into how he thinks about things.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_03]: And he was said to be overthinking about things at times.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_03]: And it was interesting when I was at camp on the twenty four.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_03]: So last Thursday, you know, they stayed after practice, Palmer and Josh.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_03]: talking about this comeback route.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_03]: It was like, you know, a ten to twelve yard, it come back route and he just were every little detail.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_03]: Alan was coming out like gesture into him and we kind of talked about that last show.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_03]: I believe about just how Alan's command was like that, but Palmer was just, you know,
- 34:54[SPEAKER_03]: eating it up and just really a cerebral player.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_03]: So my expectations and thoughts of him have increased and I think that he's going to be a really nice player for the builds this season.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_03]: Elijah Moore, you know, they're doing a lot of different things with him.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm on a jet sweep during the practice.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_03]: I was at different things like that.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_03]: I think he's just
- 35:15[SPEAKER_03]: been a lot more involved than I kind of even really expected even though I could I thought he could be used pretty well.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_03]: I just think that I didn't expect him to get the run so early and it seems like they're really figure out what they want to do and what they can do with them.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I pretty high hopes for both of them.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying either one of them is going to have a thousand yards or anything, but I think they both fit into this offense really well.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_00]: Both of them can separate, which is a word that, you know, Bill's mouth, he loves to throw out separation.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_00]: Elijah Moore can get open in a phone field, but he's going to win off the line of spermage in one-on-one.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to beat man coverage.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_00]: Palmer the same thing just a little bit more down the field.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_00]: His separation area down the field is awesome.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_00]: Both of those things are kind of things as often as it's been missing outside of the Shakir and can you know, get open anywhere.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm excited.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_00]: It seems like both of them are really trying to work hard like you mentioned lambs to get on the same page as Josh Allen, which is huge because more is only here for one year.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_00]: And I would say best case scenario is he plays so well that he prices himself out and goes and gets a big contract somewhere else.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_00]: Palmer here for the next three.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_00]: So if you really want them to build that lasting connection.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm excited for the two of them.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_00]: I wonder Roy mentioned in the comments about Curtis Samuel and I hope so as well.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_00]: He was the receiver last season that I wanted in free agency and couldn't stay healthy last year and it seems like maybe that's happening again.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_00]: This year hopefully not.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_00]: There's a long way to go.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_00]: Elijah Moore could maybe take reps away from Curtis Samuel.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_00]: It'll be interesting because Sam don't want a longer-term deal, more of this year for the season.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_00]: Who do they give more reps to?
- 36:52[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm excited about both of them.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think they'll both have a niche in this offense and both seem to fit into the everybody eats mantra because they don't need to ball a ton.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_00]: Neither one of them has been in those situations.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm excited to see what they do when they play some other tunes.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_03]: I think they have an out with Samuel after this year that's pretty good.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_03]: And if they if more guys have an opportunity to find an expanded role in Buffalo, I wouldn't be surprised if they take that out with Samuel and take more as his kind of replacement and give him a deal.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_02]: I was going to also bring that comment up and just kind of ask you guys which sounds like it is Curtis Samuel kind of falling down in the pecking order and then going to be that guy that maybe his role really is
- 37:37[SPEAKER_02]: kind of what similar to what we saw last year, maybe even less.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_02]: Like, where he's, you know, you kind of are overwhelmed by him.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, we talked about Elijah Moore, talked about Jeff Palmer, Kian Coleman, you know, Shakira's going to be there.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's four receivers right there, and that's not even included, concaided or not.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_02]: So, it's like, where's when we land tonight a few shows ago, talked about targets, and where the target's going to go.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_02]: And to my, my enemy, I originally had Curtis Samuel, I had twenty-five tied with Moore for twenty-five
- 38:05[SPEAKER_02]: you know catches on the season is that now kind of teetering where you see maybe more might go up and see curse Samuel go down that sounds like all three of us might be in a kind of wondering that and seeing if that can that's going to come to fruition there with Samuel kind of falling down and I'm glad Lance that you mentioned the the
- 38:29[SPEAKER_02]: out after this year, because I think that was something.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_02]: Some people were looking at this year.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_02]: It wouldn't have really been an out, but just maybe fight the money now.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_02]: Next year, yeah, it does seem a little bit more like a possibility.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_02]: Unless he comes out and really performs this season.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_03]: I think they have a good clear plan with him.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_03]: So I think they're not worried about forcing it so early in camp.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_03]: I think they want to get their work in with them as much as they can, but I feel like they're really trying to figure out some specific more specific things with these other guys.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_03]: And that's why it's more intentional and it's more spot like it's kind of more spotlighted.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_03]: Whereas I think they kind of like
- 39:09[SPEAKER_03]: Joe Brady has a comfort level with Samuel.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_03]: So I think he already like really has the idea and he doesn't really need to see so much from him.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_03]: So they're not really putting it out there.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I think the real reason is you're seeing some of these other things happen more than you're seeing Samuel.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think it's going to take away from what Samuel do this year in this offense because
- 39:33[SPEAKER_03]: You mentioned everybody, it's going to be a game by game situation.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_03]: Bills are going to take what the defense gives them.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_03]: So if they're giving them Curtis Samuel on a consistent basis, Curtis Samuel is going to have a great year.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_03]: And if they're giving them, you know, if they're not going to give them that, then someone else is going to have to step up and have a great year.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of key on Coleman or Josh Palmer or whomever.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that that's really the excitement and the benefit of this offensive philosophy that they have in Buffalo.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_02]: I'm pretty much just never bad, never bad thing to have too many guys and too many weapons.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_02]: But Travis said we've seen in years past for the bills has been a problem, not have it enough weapons.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_02]: And this year it seems like you know you're a little bit excited for everybody.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_03]: Samuel obviously we really excited for their twenty eighth ranked seal position.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, twenty eighth by the way, but hey, when you got a QB one that is QB one in the NFL, flat and last season MVP.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_02]: You don't really need a top ten, but yeah, I think twenty eight is definitely a little low.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_02]: But we did talk about receivers now.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_02]: Let's get into the other two past catchers.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_02]: I see, you know, there is a third guy that will be making the team in this group of tight ends, not sure how much he'll be necessarily used in the past catching game, with Jackson Haas.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_02]: But Dawson Knox, Donald Concaid, those two guys that I feel like with Concaid, it's been a big thing with him about
- 40:59[SPEAKER_02]: Can he take that step?
- 41:01[SPEAKER_02]: Can he take that step?
- 41:02[SPEAKER_02]: He obviously has not put on the field.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if he practiced today.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_02]: Did he practice today?
- 41:07[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he did practice today.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_02]: So they're given him rest days.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_02]: It was a knee surgery.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_02]: I believe for him this past off season.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_02]: And it's one of those things where, you know, with guys, you just need them rest days when they're coming back and getting fully back.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_02]: Um, Knox has also been dealing with something, but I believe he was also back today as well.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_02]: So both from our back, you're hoping that both from can stay healthy because I personally love both of them.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_02]: I think Knox is one of those guys that is a sneaky one, one, two catch a game guy, possibly.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, she doesn't.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_02]: But, and then concave, I've talked all off season.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_02]: He could be a guy that could see ninety to a hundred targets this year, could be a big tight end in this league when it comes to, whether it's, you're looking at real life stats, fantasy stats, just down the line, even in the playoffs, could be a guy that is a go-to guy for Josh Allen, and hopefully Josh can start hitting him on a more consistent basis.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_02]: So you guys concerned with really either of them dealing with injuries and just what do you think about both of them going into the season, Scott, what do you think?
- 42:13[SPEAKER_00]: concerned with you, they're dealing with injuries.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_00]: I know a lot of people have said, can cage availability is something they're keeping an eye on because he hasn't banged off his first two seasons.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not worried about him getting kind of above.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_00]: That rest day, which essentially what it was on Monday, I don't know if you can call it that, but the guy has only been in the lead for two years.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_00]: But with me, Stornus, because when you have a surgery, when you ramp up activity, you're going to have some soreness, and it's not worth pushing it on July, twenty-eighth or whatever day it was, and maybe sets him back for their down the line.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_00]: So this is a big season for both of them, because Dawson knocked took a restructure deal instead of probably the bills moving on from him to save cat.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_00]: So yes, the
- 42:57[SPEAKER_00]: show that he still has a role on this team and then concave last season.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think
- 43:03[SPEAKER_00]: the concern with his performance last year was overblown.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_00]: He missed three games, Josh missed him a lot.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_00]: He was playing through a pretty significant knee injury, so he wasn't quite the same.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_00]: So I think this season he will take a big step forward.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if he'll be a thousand yard guy, like some people, including Officer saying last off season, but I think he gets up there to seven, fifty, eight hundred yards and is a big part of this offense, because the bills need him to be.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_00]: When he's at his best, the offense is at his best.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not concerned with either one of them in their injuries.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_00]: They're both fully practicing now and they haven't even broken camp yet.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_00]: So they're not even August.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: So the fact that they're both practicing in full, I don't think gives us any worry for them once the season comes around.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_00]: As we've seen with how often the bills like to go jumbo packages, both of these tight ends are very important, and they're both good past catchers.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_00]: So they're going to play a big role in the offense, so hopefully we have them all guns blazing come September.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, can Kate's going to be the best there is plain and simple.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_03]: He's going to wake up every morning and piss excellence, I think this year.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_03]: So that's my expectation and third year leap right for the guy.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_00]: What if he doesn't she be a great
- 44:14[SPEAKER_03]: Ooh, that stuff on, I wonder if he'll put a fig Newton sticker on his biser, but, uh,
- 44:21[SPEAKER_03]: Knox dealing with things, you know, is what it is.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_03]: I think, you know, these back, hopefully nothing else pops up.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I'm going to be looking for, hopefully you can stay clear of any more issues and look like he was running comfortably out there today on the videos I saw.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't have any major concern and I have probably even larger expectations for a concave than Scott does, even though his were fairly lofty.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_03]: I think
- 44:45[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I want him to be in that nine hundred yard range, hopefully, and just really, you know, separate himself as one of the elite tight ends in this league.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_03]: You know, he's drafted in a position where that's sore the expectation for me.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, yeah, I've been talking about all of these and how excited I am.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_02]: It can Kate can be healthy this whole season.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_02]: And if Josh can again, hit him when he is open because obviously there were a lot of times last year where Josh did miss him.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_02]: Unfortunately, our MVP is not perfect.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_02]: So I can record back is not perfect.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but yeah, I was excited.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_02]: I'd love both these guys.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_02]: I know, especially Dawson acts.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of people were talking about his money and then really just kind of talking about, oh, is he, would he be back this season?
- 45:31[SPEAKER_02]: Cause do they look to find a way out on his contract?
- 45:34[SPEAKER_02]: Whatever it was.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_02]: And I think a lot of fans were very happy that they worked without him.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_02]: He is back in this, uh, in this bill's uniform.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_02]: And hopefully, again, he can prove that he is worth what they are getting himself.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's going to do it for the offense.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_02]: Like I said, with the running game offensive line, it's a little tougher to kind of get into until you start seeing preseason.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_02]: You start really getting into the full on football.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_02]: So maybe they'll touch on it a little bit in the hard knocks episode coming up.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_02]: I believe it comes out on the fifth.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_02]: If I'm not used to it.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so Tuesday to fifth, that will be coming out.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_02]: They might be a little touch on, you know, you definitely see some beyond Dawkins in there.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_02]: Probably here a little bit about James Cook's contract situation.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_02]: So when it comes to the running back room off on some line, maybe you'll see that touchdown a little bit early on.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but other than Adi adds a little tough to kind of get into the running game and just those guys, when it comes to their actual play, because you're, you can't have to see it in my action.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_02]: And James Cook, we've talked plenty about his contract situations or not if you're going to touch it.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_02]: Um, when it, let's get into the defense though, there's the first two guys that we have here actually, two guys that Lancet, I had touched on earlier in the show.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, Matt Milano is the first guy.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_02]: So Matt Milano, I mean, he's the guy that like said, it's coming back, looking great.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_02]: the duo is more what I want to kind of get into with Bernard and Matt Milano.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_02]: One, are you guys concerned that either of them will be at injured going into the season or throughout the season and two, if they both stay healthy, what really are your expectations for these two, these two guys at the linebacking linebacking duo?
- 47:12[SPEAKER_02]: So Lance, what do you think?
- 47:14[SPEAKER_03]: Lineback and duo I think can and should be good for as far as health goes.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_03]: I don't have any reason to be concerned that they'll not be healthy.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_03]: I think Milano had some bad luck and appears to have shaken that.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_03]: I think you know, eighty to ninety percent of what Matt Milano was before injuries.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_03]: is going to be way better than a lot of players at their best anyway.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_03]: So I really love what we're seeing.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_03]: Again, such a refreshing thing to see these guys who have worked so hard kind of
- 47:50[SPEAKER_03]: trend towards getting what they deserve and you hope that he can play this full season and really help this team out on the ways we know he can flying around getting the ball not only in the past game but you know making big plays in the run game as well seems to be something he's he's very good at really all around one of the best linebackers you could have in football at his top end so how far back to that top end can he get
- 48:20[SPEAKER_03]: eighty-nine percent of it would be amazing to me.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_03]: Thrall Bernard, again, I don't see anything that tells me he couldn't stay healthy and you know, expecting to take even another step forward and raising himself in the conversation for where he's at and the pecking order in the league of best middle line backers.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, given the two of them in their track record, I would be shocked at both of them played seventeen games each.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_00]: If they can both play fourteen to fifteen games, I think the bills are in an awesome spot.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like that would be best case scenario for me, because they've both been banged up in the past and this game's here and there, a lot of obviously wasn't for now, but for not only played thirteen games last season, so you missed a few.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, Milano looks awesome.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_00]: And like you said, it's not only percent of Matt Milano, it was better than damn near any
- 49:11[SPEAKER_00]: So if he can be fully healthy, he was showing those signs at the end of last year.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_00]: The Ravens and Chiefs games, he played awesome.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_00]: He made some huge plays that saved points from going on the scoreboard.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_00]: The two-point conversion play against the Ravens, the first one, not the one that Andrews dropped, and then he had a big sack on the third down.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_00]: He gives a cheat on their first drive on a half time.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_00]: If they can both stay healthy and they can both play at their potential Bernard, he hopefully takes that step forward like you mentioned.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_00]: This is going to be year four for him, and he's shown he has a nose for the football.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_00]: He's always in the right spot that he can just take his game to the next level, get eighty five ninety percent of Matt Milano.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's probably the best linebacker duo in the league.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_00]: Which would be awesome to see.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, hopefully they're both on the field the whole year.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_00]: keep talking about marijuana and how good he is and they feel foolish for boyd in the rest of his contract.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, when they're healthy, I've said it, I think they're the best duo in the league.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, there is that concern now with
- 50:13[SPEAKER_02]: I know, you know, they land somebody said that they are bad luck injuries, but I think it's also just a style play map on a place.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_02]: He plays fast.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_02]: He plays physical.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_02]: He, he is a guy that is going to go get the ball and sometimes when you have that, that, you know, style of play, bad luck injuries happen.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_02]: So my only concern would be one of them getting an injury just with the style of football that they play, but
- 50:39[SPEAKER_02]: If they're both on the field, especially when it comes playoff time, I mean, you're not looking for a better drill in the league, there is one.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, I'm glad to have met glad to hear that he, if Matt Wano's looking good, twelve binard, like said, taking that leap, fifty-eight-nate, hopefully they can show the league what they're all about and that lead to Steve fans here.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_02]: And as Doug also mentioned, he just does think they're one of the best drills in the league.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_02]: That's the big thing there in that second sentence and finish the playoffs if they can finish the playoffs, but yes, it's always good.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_02]: There's always good to have doing Williams there as a third guy, because he can can make some plays as well.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, that's going to
- 51:18[SPEAKER_02]: do for that lineback or talk though.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_02]: Let's get into the second guy that Lance talked a little bit earlier.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_02]: So Lance, you can start us off if you have anything else you want to say about him.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_02]: But Tray White is backman.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_02]: He looks great.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_02]: He's back in the bill system.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he's like Scott mentioned a little earlier too.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_02]: Kind of did look better towards the end of the season last year, but where is your confidence level?
- 51:41[SPEAKER_02]: Like do you realistically think he can keep this corner back to for the entire season with the full workload kind of keep pushing her stondown and keep pushing Dorian strong down pushing everybody else down below and say no, this is my spot for the season.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_02]: Like what do you think he can do that?
- 51:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm super stoked for Tray White.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_03]: I think that, you know, as long as he could stay healthy.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_03]: And I think he, you know, he got his full off season in, said he feels great.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_03]: I really think we look, and we can go back and take the clip and parade it around the internet that we thought he was going to be the week one starter two, three, four weeks ago, whenever the show was that we predicted that.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_03]: But, you know, the fact is,
- 52:24[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to do that.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to do that.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_03]: You guys are welcome to do that.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just going to know that I set it and be happy in my own mind and if anyone watching.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, good sources.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, if anybody watching wants to give us our flowers on that when the time comes, we'll take them.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, you know, I think Tray, you know, old uncle Tray coming back is just, it's a breath of fresh air.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_03]: I think he's certainly capable and shown that so far.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, I expected him from many weeks ago to be the week one starter.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_03]: And I think he can carry that until Harrison's ready.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_03]: And I think he, well, I don't think he's going to need to go through the whole season.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_03]: I think they're going to have some low advantage with him even if Harrison's missing time.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_03]: Dorian Strong is there.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_03]: And I think they're going to not be shy about throwing this kid in.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_03]: We'll see him even more in the preseason and how he kind of ups his game moving towards, you know, given tray of break at times if they need to and see what he can do against some competition.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_03]: But I think tray continues to be healthy as long as there's not a freak accident and can last the whole season.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I hope Traveys stay southeast.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_00]: Just such a good dude.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_00]: He means so much this organization.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_00]: He was the first pick of the McDermott era.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_00]: And beyond Dawkins.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm sure this will be on hard knocks.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_00]: You saw the clip going around and tray with the ons kids, like call them Uncle tray.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_00]: And let's just
- 53:56[SPEAKER_00]: like it just makes your heart feel good for for those two guys who are so big to what the bills have become and they were the first two picks of McDermott era and they're still here obviously tray went away for a season but had an awesome defensive pat center clearance that led to one of the bills touchdowns in my game so he still helped but it's just awesome that they're here and they're playing well and if you're good for tray and you hope he can stay healthy
- 54:19[SPEAKER_00]: Do I think he can be the corner back to and play every snap of the whole season?
- 54:23[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, but the good news is he's not going to have Max Harrison is going to build up and hopefully he takes the role over by the end of the year because that's the way it should work.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_00]: He's the first round pick who should come in and take it, but awesome to see that tray is looking good, really excited for him.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_00]: And hopefully you don't have to find out if he can be the CB-II all season because someone steps up.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_00]: Having tray white as a depth corner back, you're not going to find much better, much better than that.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_00]: So really happy at how he started because you know he's put in the work and excited to see him out there at week one.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, you guys talked about hope and he stays healthy, man.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_02]: If he gets to not their injury in a bills uniform, that's a bad one.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to be one of those things where Bill's mouth is going to lose it because everybody loves this guy.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_02]: He is like you said the first pick of the McDermott era.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody just wants him to succeed.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_02]: And then if I hope that he can stay healthy, I really do because he is a phenomenal person, player, teammate, everything that you can kind of ask for in a player and then a bell.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, opening can
- 55:30[SPEAKER_02]: whether it's he does keep that corner back to drive the entire season.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_02]: I do think it will depend a little bit on game plan.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_02]: I don't kind of brought up this comment if the team plays more one on one.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think he can hold up?
- 55:40[SPEAKER_02]: I think he will again certain teams, but you know, as Lance said, it will help that he will have safety line back or help.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_02]: As the season goes on, maybe they do switch it up in certain games.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_02]: If there's speeder receiver or anything like that, or a guy that they think came, Harrison lines up better with him, or Dorian strong lines up better against him, or maybe trades heaven and off day, and they switch it up.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm not sure if we'll be able to keep it the entire season.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_02]: I do think that the first few weeks it will be his until, you know, he maybe he has a quarter to the struggles, which gives Harrison a chance to kind of step up or door and strong to step up to say, hey, I want some more reps here too.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_02]: And I do think they also will just give Harrison and strong a little bit more reps as time goes on as well.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_02]: So, and who knows, there might be Camlos in that mix as well, but Camlos is probably going to be more on the nickel side than the outside side or outside
- 56:38[SPEAKER_02]: corner position there.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_02]: So when it comes to corner back to, we'll see.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_02]: But either way, yeah, just hoping that he stays healthy, man, because I think all pills might be like that would lose their minds if he ends up getting injured again in the pills uniform.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_02]: just because you can't ask for a better player to move forward than tray white for the bills.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_03]: Last thing we out here though is before we get there, the game might start soon before we get down the D line.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_03]: Scott, who's going to win the Hall of Fame game so people can get there.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_03]: Scott Lock, that's in.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_00]: Oh man.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_03]: Come on.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_03]: Plus one oh five characters.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_03]: I had to take him had to take Chargers plus one oh five.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_00]: I was also, um, thinking charges.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_00]: I think trailer answers better than DJ who we angle away.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_00]: But I took the under, took under a thirty three and a half because games are always kind of ugly.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to suck.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_00]: I hate rooting for the under, but his games are always so ugly.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_00]: But excited to watch guys on the field.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_03]: So I got to do.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_03]: And so we're going to get off of the airway is pretty quickly and, uh, Schuper, do you got a pick for the game?
- 57:47[SPEAKER_02]: I'll go try it as well.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just want to come to pre-season.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_02]: I think a lot of it also has to do with coaching and Harba.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_02]: I think it is a pretty good coach.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly here speaking to chargers, former chargers.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, former charge of Joey Bosa.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_02]: We're talking about the defense of lying here.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_02]: He's looking good.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_02]: Looks like the rookies are looking good.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Scott talked a little bit earlier about the unwalker.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_02]: You got heard a lot about the a TJ Sanders coming in land in Jackson haven't heard a ton of out but another guy that people are excited for.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_02]: So you have a lot of workies on that line.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_02]: Got a lot of new guys coming in.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_02]: We've talked about a lot of this offseason, but they're looking now in Peru, which is the important part.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_02]: You can hear all about the signs.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_02]: You can hear all about the picks and get excited for it.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_02]: But once you start getting the pads on, once you start seeing it now with some maybe not a hundred percent action, but you're seeing it at least that can get you excited.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_02]: So what do you guys think about the defensive line?
- 58:44[SPEAKER_02]: Lance will start with you.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I just haven't really gotten to a point where I want to spend a bunch of time watching the defensive line as of yet.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_03]: Like, they're not turtles getting out of their stance.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_03]: So that's really the criteria I have for them at this point, you know, showing some explosive nature and, you know, Michael White was blowing past the tackles when they didn't have pads on it.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_03]: And I was like, cool, like he's
- 59:13[SPEAKER_03]: doesn't have pants on.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know how to feel about it yet, but I do love the excitement around TJ Sanders and I'm excited to see what they can show in person tomorrow during the skirmish, so that's really going to be a folk to see my first live action with those guys.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_03]: and what we will see out of the scrimmage and then really going into the preseason once we can get some tape on them in this defense will be when I really dive into the evaluating them right now it's really just sort of like, yeah, they're doing what they should at this point and I'm happy that they're not being criticized too much at the stage.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_03]: I really don't know that there really can be a ton of criticism at this point.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm just happy that they're all staying healthy, especially with some of the guys like you mentioned jelly boats.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_00]: So far, he looks like jelly boats.
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_00]: They've been bringing them along slow, given from that rest days, which is what he's going to need throughout the whole season.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_00]: Same with Obi-Jobi.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_00]: The big thing with this deal on is just keep everybody healthy and try to get everybody some reps when he can, because it's a really deep group.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe the deepest group on the team, to just get everybody reps, see what they can do.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_00]: I know they mentioned Jibon Salmon looks like a babbage of the answer.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_00]: which about solving looks like a different player this season.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_00]: If he can come in and take meaningful snaps, that Vanessa looks good, you know, in a contract season, trying to stay in the league, you know, likely hood.
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_00]: So it's good to see that, like you mentioned, Lance limited stuff so far, because they're not wearing pads, but you can still see some stuff without pads.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_00]: They're not going any less harm.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_03]: You're wearing them now, so now you can really start, but it's just a matter of I haven't really seen enough
- 1:00:59[SPEAKER_03]: So do any sort of evaluation.
- 1:01:01[SPEAKER_03]: That's where I'm kind of waiting on maybe to get in the lock and then maybe, you know, once the preseason really starts and we can get some film on it would be nice.
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_00]: Right, but it's good to see that guys look explosive and the rookies look like what they were advertised as I like you won't be able to tell to like you play somebody else and probably tell you play somebody else in the game that matters, but just just happy to see that everybody is healthy on the D line for the most part knock on wood and got it looking explosive.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_00]: So I didn't see what the group can do because a good group this year.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we're really going to find out week one straight away.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad you knocked out one of theirs.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to tell you if you didn't because I said something that tomorrow all of a sudden you don't want.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_02]: You don't want that hangover you're had their Scott if something happens tomorrow.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, it's not that I mean Ricky Bobby.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you're not so you should be good.
- 1:01:52[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, you know, it's it's yeah, it's exciting just to hear about it.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_02]: You obviously like like when I said you're not
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_02]: until it gets to week one, you start to see it alive.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_02]: It's a little bit different, but it is awesome just to hear just because it feel like the past few years you haven't really heard too much excitement around the defensive line as a whole.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_02]: You know, maybe part of a little bit about Rousseau past few years, little bit about that Oliver.
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_02]: You know, some of the new guys, the past few seasons a little bit, but I feel like this season you're really hearing you know, you've heard a lot about teachers and there's you've heard a lot about the unlocker.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_02]: You know you're hearing great things from not just one two guys you're hearing it from three four five five different guys that are looking good So we'll see obviously when it does get to live football But you know it seems like they went the line heavy they looked into it They said this is something we want to fix and Hopefully these guys are the right guys and going into the season they can continue this praise and by the end of the season we can look back and say wow
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad they didn't draft a wider shiver in this draft until the seventh round and they did go defensive line.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_02]: So, well, obviously, you know, see what it's like at the end of the season, but I do think a lot of build trends will be happy with this group by the end of the season.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_03]: Right on.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's our show for you.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_03]: I go and enjoy the Hall of Fame game chargers and Titans.
