- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on Relatables.
- 0:02Speaker 2: I do wish I had more appreciation.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Really, that's a good Yeah. I've been stopping myself a
- 0:07Speaker 1: lot lately to.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Be like, oh, well, no, I need to appreciate this.
- 0:11Speaker 1: That makes me think about joy too, because sometimes when
- 0:15Speaker 1: we're doing something good or something we're having a fun time,
- 0:18Speaker 1: my head's already it's sort of appreciate appreciation too. Like
- 0:21Speaker 1: my head's like focusing on the most little, mid new
- 0:24Speaker 1: bad thing. I kind of appreciate what's going on right now.
- 0:37Speaker 2: The Relatables podcast is hosted by myself, J Craig Akay Daddy,
- 0:43Speaker 2: and my partner in crime, Oh Tway, Conrad Clark aka Mommy.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Exposing my real man right now, man.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Ah, all right, we have an exciting stuff for this episode.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Last week we failed to make them say, and I
- 0:57Speaker 2: think what we did good was that she I don't
- 0:59Speaker 2: think she knew we were playing it.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Now. That's the whole point of it. We can't like,
- 1:02Speaker 1: I think the first attemp when you got them, you
- 1:04Speaker 1: were like two to the point. We have to have
- 1:05Speaker 1: it in a little bit of a conversation. Okay, just
- 1:07Speaker 1: a little bit. So if you don't know what's going on,
- 1:09Speaker 1: This is where we call one of our lovely listeners
- 1:12Speaker 1: and they have the chance to win a hat. But
- 1:13Speaker 1: if we make them say the word, they don't win
- 1:14Speaker 1: the hat. Yes, and if you want to submit to
- 1:17Speaker 1: this game, all we have to do is link in
- 1:18Speaker 1: the description of this video and name and number. That's it,
- 1:21Speaker 1: simple name, number.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Your abject's goadress gets put in this so we know
- 1:23Speaker 2: where to send the hat. All right, So this week
- 1:27Speaker 2: we will be calling Agriana, yes, beautiful name, and we
- 1:31Speaker 2: are making her say the word cereal.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Cereal. The random word generator has cursed us today. I
- 1:37Speaker 1: think cereal is easier than quality good quality.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Last week, she's going to be like, why are these
- 1:42Speaker 2: guys talking about breakfast cereal?
- 1:46Speaker 1: What's your favorite? Man?
- 1:50Speaker 2: Okay, the one that we got was really Yeah, let's
- 1:54Speaker 2: just go into it.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Let's call her.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Hello.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Hello, Adriana's and Jake from the Relatables podcast. How are
- 2:01Speaker 1: you going?
- 2:02Speaker 3: Oh Hi, I'm good, I'm working right now.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Do you have a quick minute?
- 2:09Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Okay, Well, where he's calling you to tell you you've won
- 2:12Speaker 1: a hot?
- 2:16Speaker 3: Hello?
- 2:16Speaker 1: Hello, we're calling to tell you you've won a Relatables
- 2:21Speaker 1: hot Yay, Yeah, what did you say that you're working.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm working.
- 2:29Speaker 1: What do you do for work?
- 2:31Speaker 3: Housekeeping attendant?
- 2:33Speaker 1: Housekeeping attendant? That's all? Is that like early starts?
- 2:37Speaker 2: Yep, early starts?
- 2:38Speaker 1: Damn? How do you how do you fit breakfast in?
- 2:41Speaker 3: Oh? Oh, you give me the question. It's kind of
- 2:45Speaker 3: a heart for me to answer them.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Oh, what do you usually have for breakfast in the morning?
- 2:51Speaker 3: Usually they will give like a normal one. It's bacon,
- 2:56Speaker 3: this kind of thing.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Oh, fair enough, you're a pretty big fan of eggs
- 2:59Speaker 1: and bacon. Well, I traveled in more. What did I
- 3:02Speaker 1: I had a kid and all like some corn flakes?
- 3:03Speaker 1: Did you ever have any of that?
- 3:05Speaker 3: Yes?
- 3:06Speaker 1: You did.
- 3:08Speaker 3: We still need to attract the kids, so.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Yeah, what are the kids like?
- 3:13Speaker 3: The kids always have those kinds of things, and then
- 3:17Speaker 3: the milk, milk and milk, and we do have like
- 3:21Speaker 3: a few types of the conflict as well, not only
- 3:26Speaker 3: one type.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Lucky kids. Well, thank you very much. We have to
- 3:31Speaker 1: ask you what color would you like? We're going to
- 3:33Speaker 1: ship one to you. Pink, pink, Think it is, think
- 3:36Speaker 1: it is. Well, thank you very much for listening and submitting,
- 3:39Speaker 1: and have a good day and enjoy work.
- 3:40Speaker 3: No, I really love your podcast. Than you.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Bye bye, we love you bye. She was so sweet.
- 3:51Speaker 2: It was so sweet, and I was just like, after
- 3:54Speaker 2: the first attempt, I was like, I don't even want
- 3:55Speaker 2: to do it to her anymore. That's so funny.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Ah, I think that that was about a minute too.
- 4:02Speaker 1: That was about a minute I feel. I was like, yeah,
- 4:04Speaker 1: we got to wrap that up. We've lost the last two.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Now.
- 4:07Speaker 1: That was hard.
- 4:08Speaker 2: We did our best there, We really tried to. Yeah,
- 4:12Speaker 2: she said the whole thing about breakfast. I was like,
- 4:14Speaker 2: I'm not going to keep asking that questions about breakfast.
- 4:16Speaker 2: I didn't know what she said about some about eggs
- 4:19Speaker 2: and bacon.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Yeah, well, all right, Jake. We're figuring out that when
- 4:30Speaker 1: you're in a relationship, or even when you're single, we
- 4:32Speaker 1: start to put these fake scenarios in our heads and
- 4:35Speaker 1: the heads of our partners as well. The other week,
- 4:39Speaker 1: you came to me with a question, was what was
- 4:41Speaker 1: it again? It was sick? Did I give you all
- 4:43Speaker 1: the driving driving? Yeah? How I was driving to say
- 4:49Speaker 1: with your friend? Would I put music on? Oh?
- 4:51Speaker 2: I was ye.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Scenarios, So I have another scenario for you right now. Yes,
- 4:56Speaker 1: I love these, but you have to go into the
- 4:58Speaker 1: mind of a girl right now. Oh yep, easy, didn't
- 5:01Speaker 1: even take a second, mate and answers. Actually, this morning
- 5:04Speaker 1: I woke up and I ran out of moisture income.
- 5:06Speaker 1: It's really weird, so to go online and buy some more.
- 5:08Speaker 1: And then my breakfast, I burnt my toast, which sucked,
- 5:11Speaker 1: but I still ate it because it didn't have time
- 5:12Speaker 1: to make anymore. And then yeah, anyway, anyway, we've got
- 5:16Speaker 1: a podcast together on we mate Funny. You mentioned moisturizer.
- 5:19Speaker 1: So here's the question in the mind. Your fiance gets
- 5:23Speaker 1: kidnapped when you're in a foreign country, you stay out
- 5:26Speaker 1: till two am, searching with the authorities, but eventually you
- 5:30Speaker 1: call it and have to return to your hotel. Do
- 5:33Speaker 1: you still do your skincare routine? Yes?
- 5:36Speaker 2: Or no?
- 5:37Speaker 1: Whoa oh look, I mean yeah, I'm gorne mate, m
- 5:50Speaker 1: you can't find me. I mean, I don't see why not. No,
- 5:54Speaker 1: I paid money for it, brought it all that long way.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Yo. Okay, foreign country, my fiance is gone, Get back.
- 6:04Speaker 1: To the home, gone for good, and you're just moisturizing.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Get back to the hotel. Actually, you know what, I'm
- 6:08Speaker 2: not sleeping that night, you know, but you're still going
- 6:11Speaker 2: to do a skincare routine. No, I won't do my
- 6:13Speaker 2: skin care routine because I'm not sleeping because I'm up.
- 6:15Speaker 2: There's no way I'm sleeping even if I'm up, Like,
- 6:18Speaker 2: I'm not getting ready for bed at any point because
- 6:20Speaker 2: I'm not.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I'm not even getting into the bed.
- 6:22Speaker 2: I if I fall asleep, I'm fully falling asleep, sitting up,
- 6:25Speaker 2: and then as soon as my head rocks over and
- 6:27Speaker 2: I wake up, I'm back out searching for my fiance.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Yea yea yea yea yeah yeah ya, yeah, what about you?
- 6:34Speaker 1: I think I would be now, i'd probably do my
- 6:36Speaker 1: skin care.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Well, I mean the place if the authorities are saying
- 6:44Speaker 2: you got to go get some rest, I've got to
- 6:46Speaker 2: looking tomorrow. The girl's got to do what Maybe I
- 6:50Speaker 2: do do my skin care routine because I'll do it. Yeah,
- 6:54Speaker 2: that's funny. Yeah, because girls like even on.
- 6:59Speaker 1: A big night out.
- 7:01Speaker 2: My girlfriend, like she said she could go and have
- 7:04Speaker 2: the biggest night ever, but she's no matter what, she's
- 7:08Speaker 2: having a shower and washing her face and doing her So.
- 7:10Speaker 1: That's because they they got to get the makeup off
- 7:12Speaker 1: the face with a bed because it gets on the
- 7:13Speaker 1: pillows and stuffing. Yeah, yeah.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I mean, but like thinking about like I have come
- 7:17Speaker 2: home from big nights out and just like passed out
- 7:20Speaker 2: past the fuck out fully closed.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Yeah, but you're one of those fully clothed. You're one
- 7:24Speaker 1: of those boys who just like can do anything and
- 7:26Speaker 1: they won't get a pimple. True, big nights out, What
- 7:29Speaker 1: do you do? I have get have enough shower? Really, yeah,
- 7:31Speaker 1: I get the square off no matter what. I get
- 7:33Speaker 1: to have a shower, no matter what. You feel fresh
- 7:35Speaker 1: before I go on my sheets. WHOA Yeah, do you
- 7:38Speaker 1: know on big night? No, if it's massive and I
- 7:41Speaker 1: get home like and a stumbling home, then I'll pass.
- 7:44Speaker 1: That's only been like three times ever, every time I've
- 7:47Speaker 1: had a big night no shower. There was one night
- 7:51Speaker 1: I remember this is put them throwing myself under the
- 7:53Speaker 1: bus once. I don't know what it was. Is it
- 7:56Speaker 1: called like, what's sleep paralysis? Sleep paralysis? Yeah? What is it? Yeah?
- 7:59Speaker 1: What is it?
- 8:00Speaker 2: I think it's when you you're awake but you can't
- 8:03Speaker 2: move and there's like supposed to be like a fucking
- 8:06Speaker 2: demon in the corner or something.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Maybe it's sleep paralysis. But talking about big nights, one
- 8:10Speaker 1: night I got one of the only nights I got
- 8:12Speaker 1: back and I didn't have a shower. I just passed
- 8:14Speaker 1: out in bed. I woke up like before. It was
- 8:16Speaker 1: sunny and like I had to go take a piss.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Obviously been drinking a lot. Yeah, and for some reason,
- 8:22Speaker 1: I was like half asleep, but I couldn't find the
- 8:24Speaker 1: door to my room what like at all, and I
- 8:28Speaker 1: was like feeling all the I must have been like
- 8:30Speaker 1: completely blind still. I was feeling all the walls. Couldn't
- 8:33Speaker 1: find the door, and I didn't know where I was.
- 8:34Speaker 1: So I had to go back to sleep. And like
- 8:36Speaker 1: when I woke up in the morning, there's all like
- 8:37Speaker 1: stuff like throwing on the ground shit for me, like
- 8:39Speaker 1: trying to feel that we look at you, Like my
- 8:40Speaker 1: bedside table was like completely off the wall and shit
- 8:43Speaker 1: what Yeah, I was like full moving. I couldn't find the.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Door, and I was like, this is scaring the fuck
- 8:48Speaker 2: out of me, and I had to I had you
- 8:49Speaker 2: just flopped back in the bed the bed.
- 8:51Speaker 1: No, I just I just ended up. I think I
- 8:52Speaker 1: was scared, but I just went back to sleep with
- 8:54Speaker 1: piss bed wha. Yeah, I was wigging though, and I
- 8:57Speaker 1: was like, how can I find the door? I knew
- 8:58Speaker 1: I was in my bedroom. But I couldn't on the door.
- 9:00Speaker 1: That's so freaking weird.
- 9:03Speaker 2: That's so weird that you can find the door in
- 9:04Speaker 2: your preasure because like, just put your hand on the waters.
- 9:08Speaker 2: That's what I'm doing because I couldn't find it, so
- 9:09Speaker 2: I just started doing that. I definitely have had your
- 9:11Speaker 2: hand on the wall and you were just gone like this.
- 9:13Speaker 2: So you're just doing one spot. Yeah, probably probably just
- 9:15Speaker 2: buy my bedside table.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Oh that would have freaked me out.
- 9:18Speaker 2: It did.
- 9:18Speaker 1: It freaked me so much, and I was like, Damn,
- 9:20Speaker 1: I don't know where I am.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I don't I'm trying to think if I've ever had
- 9:24Speaker 2: sleep paralysis, but I can't think of You're a good sleeper, Actually,
- 9:28Speaker 2: I'm a prett good sleeper. Yeah, I'm pretty good at
- 9:30Speaker 2: fallen asleep.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I'm pretty good at fall asleep. I remember one time
- 9:33Speaker 1: in Byron Bay when we were together partying. You went
- 9:36Speaker 1: home with a friend, like an actual friend friend. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 9:39Speaker 1: we were with friends. Yeah, me and him went home together.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Yeah yeah. And I went back to our sleep on
- 9:44Speaker 1: the top of my car, my riftop tent, and I
- 9:46Speaker 1: remember I passed out with my feet my tent wide open,
- 9:49Speaker 1: my feet just outside the tent. I remember that because
- 9:54Speaker 1: I was just so drunk. I went home with a
- 9:56Speaker 1: friend that lived in Byron, and I got to sleep
- 9:59Speaker 1: in a house that night.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:01Speaker 2: And then I remember in the morning going back to
- 10:03Speaker 2: the campsite we were at, and I think you were
- 10:06Speaker 2: still in there. Yeah, and I just remember you being like,
- 10:08Speaker 2: oh yeah, no, last.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Night, I remember my rope because we had to be
- 10:12Speaker 1: bought bikes so that we could ride everywhere drunk. Yeah,
- 10:14Speaker 1: because we didn't want to drive our cars. Yeah yah
- 10:15Speaker 1: yeah yeahyeah.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Responsible, So such a good way to get around. Also
- 10:19Speaker 2: apparently also illegal is that you can get if you're
- 10:21Speaker 2: court right driving riding a bike drunk, then you can
- 10:24Speaker 2: get fine.
- 10:24Speaker 1: That's so that's the worst rule. Yeah, Like, let me
- 10:27Speaker 1: ride my bike drunk. I agree, Like surely I'm doing,
- 10:31Speaker 1: Like what do you want me to do?
- 10:32Speaker 2: Imagine getting breath tested riding your bike. Mat, I just
- 10:35Speaker 2: throw the bike and be like, I'm not on a
- 10:37Speaker 2: I'm not even what did.
- 10:38Speaker 1: They say, You're gonna have to take that bike? Glasses yours?
- 10:41Speaker 1: That night, I freaking just found a bike in the street. Ye,
- 10:43Speaker 1: still one. It was just in the middle of the street,
- 10:46Speaker 1: like it wasn't an alley. Why did I have a
- 10:47Speaker 1: bike and you didn't. No, I had a bike and
- 10:52Speaker 1: you had a bike. Right. And then what happened was
- 10:54Speaker 1: I was with friend and they were on my bike. Yeah,
- 10:58Speaker 1: and I was walking.
- 10:59Speaker 2: I had a meat pie and I was like, I'm
- 11:03Speaker 2: sick of this through the meat high and thought I
- 11:05Speaker 2: saw this bike and got on the bike.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Piled up with my meat pie onto my bike home.
- 11:14Speaker 1: How funny, How funny.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I wanted to bring up last week you shared your notes.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Yes, I did that.
- 11:22Speaker 2: You did with Cassie the Adventures of Casimiro, and someone
- 11:26Speaker 2: sent us a nice message. Okay, it says, boys, just
- 11:30Speaker 2: listen to your latest EPP make her your queen, where
- 11:33Speaker 2: you talk about the first date idea and the Adventures
- 11:36Speaker 2: of Casamiro made me want to share the amazing first
- 11:40Speaker 2: date I went on recently and how to win a
- 11:43Speaker 2: girl over from the get go.
- 11:46Speaker 1: So I matched with the guy on.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Hinge and we messaged very little before he asked me
- 11:51Speaker 2: to go out to the vineyard he works out for
- 11:53Speaker 2: a little date. When I arrived, we had some small talk,
- 11:58Speaker 2: then hopped in the buggy and he took me for
- 12:00Speaker 2: a drive around the vinyard. Then we pull up and
- 12:04Speaker 2: he had set up a beautiful little platter, picnic blanket,
- 12:07Speaker 2: wines and music all ready to go. It was such
- 12:11Speaker 2: a beautiful first date and he made the best impression
- 12:14Speaker 2: from the get go. Even if it had turned out
- 12:16Speaker 2: that we didn't vibe, it would have been a memorable experience.
- 12:21Speaker 2: This was only two days ago. But the date went
- 12:23Speaker 2: amazing and we hung out again yesterday. To all the
- 12:26Speaker 2: men out there, go for it with the first date,
- 12:30Speaker 2: love the pod. Keep up the amazing work, guys.
- 12:32Speaker 1: That is very good. But yeah, very much relies on
- 12:37Speaker 1: your job. Like where it is. You can do that
- 12:39Speaker 1: anywhere with a picnic or whatever or anything. Yeah, yeah,
- 12:41Speaker 1: but that experience of like the vineyard and a buggy,
- 12:43Speaker 1: and well he lucky he has access. Like imagine we
- 12:46Speaker 1: just put a little picnic blanket in our studio, like
- 12:48Speaker 1: coming here or catsy fucking.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Like.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I wonder if the only thing I would be worried
- 12:55Speaker 1: about with maybe.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Setting up a picnic somewhere public right that everyone has
- 13:01Speaker 2: access to, is setting it up.
- 13:03Speaker 1: You'll leave it there and then leaving it there.
- 13:05Speaker 2: I've always thought that, and then leaving it there and
- 13:07Speaker 2: then going to the place where we said you'd meet
- 13:08Speaker 2: to go for a walk or something maybe, and then
- 13:09Speaker 2: you walk over to your picnic blanket you're like, actually,
- 13:11Speaker 2: I set it's up for you. You could go all
- 13:13Speaker 2: out and really and you could ask a friend to
- 13:17Speaker 2: mind it for you, mind it for you, or even
- 13:20Speaker 2: you just go to their house. You give them all
- 13:21Speaker 2: the picnic stuff, right, and then you say, look, I'm
- 13:24Speaker 2: going to pick her up at this time. We're going
- 13:26Speaker 2: to start our walk here at this time. All I need,
- 13:29Speaker 2: please is for you to set the picnic up just
- 13:32Speaker 2: like five to ten minutes before and then fuck off. Yeah,
- 13:35Speaker 2: And then and then it looks like it's been there
- 13:37Speaker 2: from the get go.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Even if you saw someone's friend just setting up a picnic, ok,
- 13:40Speaker 1: and you'll be like, this guy's like put some effort
- 13:42Speaker 1: into this.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Yeah, even if yeah, even if she saw your friend
- 13:45Speaker 2: setting it up and then he's like, oh shit and run.
- 13:47Speaker 1: But I think the misconception is you're going to do
- 13:49Speaker 1: too much. But what we're figuring out is you can't
- 13:52Speaker 1: do too much. And there aren't really I say, there
- 13:55Speaker 1: aren't really any bad ideas. But if you're being semi smart,
- 13:58Speaker 1: like I remember, for a date, you brought cold pizza
- 14:00Speaker 1: once and cold pizza.
- 14:03Speaker 2: I remember early this was early days of the podcast,
- 14:07Speaker 2: and we did put on our story.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:10Speaker 2: If you guys listening to this and you remember this,
- 14:11Speaker 2: you're an og of og listener.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Yeah, so we put on the story.
- 14:16Speaker 2: I was going on a freaking date and had the
- 14:21Speaker 2: night before bought pizza, and I bought an extra one
- 14:26Speaker 2: to bring cold pizza to the date. And you, I think,
- 14:29Speaker 2: were like, don't do that, and I was like, dude,
- 14:31Speaker 2: I'm confident. Yeah, and then we did it in the
- 14:33Speaker 2: story and everyone, I think im majority was.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Like, don't do that. And I did it anyway and
- 14:39Speaker 1: it was a hit. But I also think it comes
- 14:41Speaker 1: down to effic because she thought this guy's gone out
- 14:44Speaker 1: the night prior because you had a date at like
- 14:46Speaker 1: eleven o'clock or something. Yeah, like a lunch date the
- 14:48Speaker 1: next day. Yeah, yeah, pizzachops went open or whatever, and
- 14:50Speaker 1: then he's gone out the day prior. I thought about it,
- 14:52Speaker 1: what pizza like, gone home, wrapped it up in aliumenifoil.
- 14:55Speaker 2: I guessed what pizza she liked. I had to take
- 14:56Speaker 2: a wild guess.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Yeah. But still it's like it's like the effort going
- 14:59Speaker 1: into it is one of what's the reward rather than
- 15:01Speaker 1: just a cold pizza, it's more than that, which I
- 15:04Speaker 1: think it goes into like this picnic or wine or
- 15:06Speaker 1: anything like that, even just even if a friend set
- 15:08Speaker 1: it up and it's not set up very nicely, like
- 15:09Speaker 1: it's a thought the count. I brought a fucking.
- 15:12Speaker 2: An old curtain.
- 15:14Speaker 1: As I remember Jake's trying to leave, it's like I
- 15:19Speaker 1: don't have a picnic plangeting, like his tower was wet
- 15:21Speaker 1: or something, and I was like, town's not big enough.
- 15:24Speaker 1: I just bought these curtains that weren't they the light
- 15:27Speaker 1: came through, so I didn't use them.
- 15:28Speaker 2: I was like, you take this, how funny freaking funny.
- 15:34Speaker 1: But yeah, I don't know. I say, go all out,
- 15:37Speaker 1: you've got nothing to losered percent.
- 15:46Speaker 2: I think I don't know if I've said it on here,
- 15:48Speaker 2: if I've asked you before, or no, sorry I told
- 15:50Speaker 2: you before that. I don't know how the topic came
- 15:53Speaker 2: up between my girlfriend and myself, but we've never told
- 15:58Speaker 2: each other each each other's body count, Like I don't
- 16:00Speaker 2: know hers and she doesn't know mine. I'm the same, yeah, yeah,
- 16:03Speaker 2: and but I don't know how the body I think
- 16:06Speaker 2: came up the other day. I think we might have
- 16:08Speaker 2: been talking about, like, you know, what number is too high,
- 16:12Speaker 2: and then.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I think we had the dangerous conversation.
- 16:15Speaker 2: I think we had the conversation of like, at the
- 16:18Speaker 2: same time, it's like it doesn't really matter how high
- 16:21Speaker 2: it is, because it's like I'm with you now, yeah,
- 16:24Speaker 2: And because I think she might she just she knows
- 16:27Speaker 2: of someone that has.
- 16:28Speaker 1: A big one. Yeah, yeah, well yeah, yeah, we all
- 16:31Speaker 1: know someone with a big one. And so she goes she.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Goes like, look, I don't want to know it, but
- 16:39Speaker 2: I think she really does. But she goes like, it's
- 16:41Speaker 2: not like fifty.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I was like fuck no. I was like fuck no,
- 16:48Speaker 1: oh look dots. But also I was thinking, like what
- 16:51Speaker 1: is the right I was like, there's no really right answer.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I reckon it's tough for your girlfriend too, because like
- 16:58Speaker 1: our industry is a misconception, and I reckon that like
- 17:01Speaker 1: we use the poll No we didn't, right, just because
- 17:05Speaker 1: we have this podcast.
- 17:08Speaker 2: So I thought it was funny and it made me
- 17:12Speaker 2: think of questions girlfriends asked that have no right answer.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Oh yeah, there is a lot there is. I just
- 17:19Speaker 2: I had that one form Beth of her saying like,
- 17:22Speaker 2: so it's not like fifties, and I was like, no,
- 17:28Speaker 2: that's crazy. But she's not asked me these ones, but
- 17:32Speaker 2: I it did make me think of some of Oh no,
- 17:34Speaker 2: she asked me one of them as a joke.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Should I try and answer them or does not even
- 17:38Speaker 1: attempt it? We'll see if you can.
- 17:40Speaker 2: The first one she did ask me as a joke,
- 17:42Speaker 2: and we were we were in the gets right, just
- 17:47Speaker 2: driving in the car, and she goes, have you ever
- 17:50Speaker 2: fucked someone in here?
- 17:57Speaker 1: The correct answer is straight up no, quickly as possible.
- 18:00Speaker 1: And I was thinking in my head.
- 18:01Speaker 2: I was like, do I say no straight away? Or
- 18:04Speaker 2: does that sound like I'm lying? Do I ponder for
- 18:06Speaker 2: a second? Orders that sound like I'm lying? When's the
- 18:08Speaker 2: perfect amount of time to say no? I think everyone
- 18:10Speaker 2: has that thought in the head of their car. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 18:14Speaker 2: So that's that's the one she'd ask me as a joke.
- 18:16Speaker 1: We laughed, and then we laughed.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Yes, I so questions girlfriends ask I have no right answer.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Well, you must have thought your ex was pretty didn't you.
- 18:28Speaker 1: I don't even know what you answer. You're like, well,
- 18:30Speaker 1: yeah I did.
- 18:32Speaker 2: At the time, I feel like if you say no,
- 18:34Speaker 2: she's like, so you date ugly girl. You try to
- 18:36Speaker 2: say I'm muggling and you're like, no, no, no, no,
- 18:38Speaker 2: she was pretty. Do you still think she's pretty?
- 18:40Speaker 1: Do you think she's pretty?
- 18:41Speaker 2: Not?
- 18:42Speaker 1: You can't win. They're traps. This one scares me.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Questions girlfriends ask they have no right answer. So am
- 18:51Speaker 2: I your type?
- 18:53Speaker 1: Why was that one bad?
- 18:54Speaker 2: That one scares me a bit? Was that because I
- 18:57Speaker 2: don't I feel like I don't want her to think that,
- 19:00Speaker 2: like I just have a type?
- 19:01Speaker 1: Oh right, yeah.
- 19:04Speaker 2: You do?
- 19:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I think that's fine in
- 19:13Speaker 1: saying I think I would admit like, yeah, you're my type. Yeah,
- 19:16Speaker 1: I mean that's not a bad thing, Like I think
- 19:19Speaker 1: you're hot, tick all my boxes? Fair enough?
- 19:23Speaker 2: Actually, when you're like this one's pretty pretty common. You
- 19:29Speaker 2: guys are walking together or maybe she's on her phone,
- 19:32Speaker 2: your next or whatever, and she's like he's like, oh,
- 19:35Speaker 2: do you think she's pretty? Like she says she thinks
- 19:37Speaker 2: she's pretty? Trap and she's like do you think she's pretty?
- 19:39Speaker 2: And you feel like no. She goes she's like, oh
- 19:43Speaker 2: she's way pretty than me. What are you trying to say?
- 19:47Speaker 1: The traps even if you look at the phone, like
- 19:48Speaker 1: do you think she's pretty? Like why are you looking?
- 19:50Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 19:51Speaker 1: Oh yeah, good point. Oh I saw one the same thing.
- 19:57Speaker 1: It was on TikTok and this girl was like, wow,
- 20:00Speaker 1: she has the biggest bum. And then the guy, the
- 20:03Speaker 1: boyfriend like put his sunnies down and have a look,
- 20:06Speaker 1: and she goes, did you just put your sonnies down?
- 20:08Speaker 1: He goes, I thought I saw a shark. If you're
- 20:18Speaker 1: trapping us like that, and you said a question like
- 20:20Speaker 1: do you reckon she's pretty? Or do you think loo
- 20:21Speaker 1: look at that chick's tips, Like yeah, well if we
- 20:24Speaker 1: just look if you said, look at that guy's weird mule,
- 20:25Speaker 1: old look at it? Yeah, why are you guys?
- 20:27Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 20:28Speaker 1: True? If anything with like look at my instantly actually
- 20:31Speaker 1: gonna be like yeah, exactly, it could be anything.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Jesus Christ questions, girlfriends asked, I have no right answer.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Would you tell me if we ran into someone that you.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Have slept with? Oh, I think I've had this question ship.
- 20:46Speaker 1: I think I said, no, I'll tell you after. Is
- 20:51Speaker 1: that the right hand? You don't? Yeah, we wouldn't introduce
- 20:53Speaker 1: someone as like hey, no, like normally you see someone
- 20:57Speaker 1: like coming up and like oh fuck, you know, like
- 20:59Speaker 1: you don't go like with him, So you would tell
- 21:06Speaker 1: her after? I think so, I think, so, what about
- 21:09Speaker 1: if you ran into Is that the rather thing they
- 21:12Speaker 1: do tell him or just leave it in the air,
- 21:13Speaker 1: like what they don't know doesn't hurt him.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know when like ignorance is bliss. Yeah really,
- 21:18Speaker 2: but it's like you don't want them to be.
- 21:21Speaker 1: I would probably be so awkward. Then she'd be like
- 21:23Speaker 1: that was weird. I'm like, oh, yeah, slept.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Oh you just would hate to know, Like because I
- 21:28Speaker 2: put myself in the shoes of if I was with
- 21:30Speaker 2: my girlfriend and she ran into a guy and then
- 21:33Speaker 2: after she goes, I've slept with it.
- 21:34Speaker 1: But as a guy, I wouldn't want to know, But
- 21:37Speaker 1: for some reason girls do. Yeah, I wouldn't want to
- 21:39Speaker 1: know what I wouldn't want to know? But is that
- 21:41Speaker 1: one of those things where they say they want to know,
- 21:42Speaker 1: but they don't really want to know because or hurt them.
- 21:44Speaker 1: But they do want to know. I think sometimes they
- 21:47Speaker 1: just want to be hurt. But my answer was I'd
- 21:51Speaker 1: tell them after. What about is any like a two
- 21:53Speaker 1: or three in the world?
- 21:56Speaker 2: Good point chances it must run it into someone I've
- 21:59Speaker 2: slept with.
- 21:59Speaker 1: It has a fucking slim gin.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Like seriously, alrighty, that was good for me. Questions girlfriends asked,
- 22:14Speaker 2: they have no right answer.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Do you remember all the names of the people you've
- 22:19Speaker 1: slept with? That is a trick. It's a fucking hard Questionnay.
- 22:26Speaker 1: But if you because if you say yes, like do
- 22:27Speaker 1: you think about them? But if you say no, say no,
- 22:31Speaker 1: little heaps, Yeah, I would know. My answer would be like, yeah,
- 22:36Speaker 1: if I thought about it, or like if I thought
- 22:39Speaker 1: about it, like if I went on my hands right
- 22:40Speaker 1: now and really thought about I could think of them. Yeah, okay.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Also like the fact that we're twenty four.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Yeah, you could be like, you know, if I if
- 22:49Speaker 2: I thought about it, like not that there's a lot,
- 22:50Speaker 2: but if I had to think about it, I would
- 22:52Speaker 2: be thinking for a couple of years ago.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Yeah yah, yeah, I gotta go work, go way back
- 22:57Speaker 1: like yeah, yeah, yeah, oh shit. You could be like,
- 23:01Speaker 1: well if you think it, like here's one way to
- 23:03Speaker 1: do it. Okay, No is the right answer. I was
- 23:05Speaker 1: a monk before I saw you. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 23:09Speaker 2: She goes, She's like, would you remember all the names
- 23:11Speaker 2: of the girls you slept before?
- 23:13Speaker 1: Me? Before you. Yeah, there was no before you. You
- 23:15Speaker 1: just even say all the girls now Cassie, Cassie, you
- 23:23Speaker 1: were my first. Oh good idea.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Ignorance is bliss. If we broke up, would you unfollow me?
- 23:32Speaker 1: That is a loaded question. Genuinely my answer would be yes,
- 23:37Speaker 1: I would. No, you don't answer that, idiot? Yeah, shp,
- 23:42Speaker 1: you fucked it. I fucked that idiot.
- 23:47Speaker 2: How many other girls have slept in this bed?
- 23:55Speaker 1: I just got a new bed.
- 23:55Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Easy one is none? Easy one is none? Say no,
- 23:59Speaker 1: he's got a new better don't know?
- 24:00Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, all right, this is my last one. If
- 24:04Speaker 2: we broke up?
- 24:05Speaker 1: Would you ever bring another girl over? We're never going
- 24:10Speaker 1: to break up? Everybody gotcha? No one's easy. What's with
- 24:14Speaker 1: this of them trying to trick us? Actually, yeah, it's
- 24:17Speaker 1: a good question. I would.
- 24:17Speaker 2: I would love to know, Like why girls like knowing
- 24:19Speaker 2: the answer to these things?
- 24:20Speaker 1: It's gonna hurt alright already. I have a question for
- 24:31Speaker 1: the team of two in the room for you and
- 24:33Speaker 1: I is that where you tell people we are the team?
- 24:36Speaker 1: I got a question for the team to please tell
- 24:39Speaker 1: me you don't tell people like we're a team of two.
- 24:42Speaker 2: No, I've never I've just thought of it that I
- 24:43Speaker 2: was like, I wanted to say, like, all right, I've
- 24:45Speaker 2: got a question for the team of two.
- 24:49Speaker 1: It would be cool to have a team. It would
- 24:51Speaker 1: be a team in here. Yeah, like someone that's like
- 24:53Speaker 1: a producer, editor, maybe a sound guy. Get them involved
- 24:55Speaker 1: a bit, someone's got like signs gone cute que say
- 24:58Speaker 1: this now? I okay.
- 25:01Speaker 2: If someone offered you a box with everything you've ever lost,
- 25:04Speaker 2: what's the first thing you would look for?
- 25:07Speaker 1: Wow, everything I've ever lost? Do you want me to
- 25:11Speaker 1: go deep or like just normal? Just what comes to
- 25:14Speaker 1: your head. My first initial thing was when we were
- 25:16Speaker 1: in Bali last year. I lost the blue Dutch hat
- 25:19Speaker 1: and Lumbogan Beach and I was so sad I lost that.
- 25:22Speaker 1: That was my favorite one of the time. This is
- 25:23Speaker 1: now my favorite one, my pink one. Yeah, but it
- 25:26Speaker 1: was dark and I ran back to it to that
- 25:27Speaker 1: beach to go find it because we're having dinner and
- 25:29Speaker 1: the tider come up and it was gone. Yeah that's right,
- 25:32Speaker 1: I forgot about that. Yeah, I was so angry. Oh no,
- 25:36Speaker 1: that's the first immediate thing that came to mind. What
- 25:38Speaker 1: about you?
- 25:38Speaker 2: The first immediate thing that comes to my mind is
- 25:42Speaker 2: when I was like, I want to say seven. I
- 25:47Speaker 2: have a step brother. His name's Travis, older than me.
- 25:51Speaker 2: When I was seventy. He was like fucking twenty or something.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Yeah, and I didn't even know that, yeah, just.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Known him like my whole life basically, and in Canada,
- 26:05Speaker 2: from Canada, and he had I was at I was
- 26:08Speaker 2: living in Canada and I had this. He was over
- 26:10Speaker 2: there and he actually was just going through some of
- 26:12Speaker 2: his old stuff because he had moved out a couple
- 26:15Speaker 2: of years before, and he I was just with him,
- 26:18Speaker 2: hanging out with him as a seven year old does.
- 26:21Speaker 2: And then we found this bag of things called POGs
- 26:24Speaker 2: p O g s. I had no idea what they were,
- 26:27Speaker 2: but they're like a collectible coin, right like a game.
- 26:31Speaker 1: And he was like, oh, these are POGs.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Man Like he was telling me about when he was
- 26:34Speaker 2: like my agent, like up in his teens, like how
- 26:36Speaker 2: much Funny had with his friends collecting these things like
- 26:38Speaker 2: the rarity and like what you do to play the game.
- 26:42Speaker 2: And so he gave them to me and he picked
- 26:44Speaker 2: one of them up and he said, this, this is
- 26:46Speaker 2: the rarest one. Do not lose this, he said, do
- 26:50Speaker 2: not lose this all right. And then I put it
- 26:53Speaker 2: in a little toy plastic safe that I had in
- 26:55Speaker 2: my room and it sat in there forever, man forever.
- 26:58Speaker 2: And then one day, show and tell day it's cool,
- 27:01Speaker 2: and I'm like, I want to bring that cool thing
- 27:02Speaker 2: my brother gave me.
- 27:03Speaker 1: I want to bring my pog that my stepmother gave me.
- 27:05Speaker 1: And I bring it in right.
- 27:07Speaker 2: And in America and Canada, the the desks, right, every
- 27:11Speaker 2: single desk has like it's like desk, and then it's
- 27:15Speaker 2: got the storage compartment underneath where you put all your
- 27:17Speaker 2: books because you have the same desk all year, every year,
- 27:19Speaker 2: and then you have your pencil and stuff. And so
- 27:21Speaker 2: I go and we went into the music room and
- 27:23Speaker 2: we were doing show and telling the music room, all right.
- 27:25Speaker 2: I put my pog in the desk. It's not my
- 27:27Speaker 2: normal desk, it's some music room that we go in
- 27:29Speaker 2: every once in a while. Put my pog in there
- 27:31Speaker 2: forget the pog, all right? And then I realize it,
- 27:35Speaker 2: like after lunch, same day, I go back and look
- 27:38Speaker 2: for the pog gone.
- 27:39Speaker 1: It's like the tide kind of how am I supposed
- 27:41Speaker 1: to know where it's gone?
- 27:43Speaker 2: And told him he's never asked, so if he ever
- 27:46Speaker 2: hears this, he's gonna be like my POGs, even though
- 27:47Speaker 2: he's like fucking nearly forty now.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Thirty thirty six or something. Imagine it just messages Jacobs like,
- 27:55Speaker 1: where's my pog? Got Those POGs and my friends are
- 27:57Speaker 1: get back into it.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I just remember being like it was like one of
- 28:03Speaker 2: my biggest fears at the time, him finding out that
- 28:05Speaker 2: I lost the rarest pog.
- 28:06Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. So he goes back one
- 28:08Speaker 1: of those things he doesn't know it, doesn't know him exactly. Yeah,
- 28:10Speaker 1: ignorance is bliss. But I was gonna say with that question,
- 28:13Speaker 1: it's one thing that you've lost that you missed the most.
- 28:15Speaker 1: You could actually pose it into what's one emotion in
- 28:18Speaker 1: your life you wish you had more that you sort
- 28:21Speaker 1: of don't have one emotion in my life that I
- 28:25Speaker 1: wish I had more of, Like love, anger, hate. Sometimes
- 28:31Speaker 1: the emotions heaps of them, but sometimes I sometimes wish
- 28:35Speaker 1: I could hate someone more, Like I'm just so easy guy,
- 28:37Speaker 1: and then like hate doesn't stick around my body, I'm like,
- 28:39Speaker 1: I really wish I could hate this person.
- 28:41Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm very you know what, I don't think
- 28:43Speaker 2: I lack it, but I do wish I had more appreciation.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Really, that's a good one. I've been stopping myself.
- 28:50Speaker 2: A lot lately to be like, oh, well, no, I
- 28:52Speaker 2: need to appreciate this.
- 28:54Speaker 1: That makes me think about joy too, because sometimes when
- 28:57Speaker 1: we're doing something good or something we're having a time,
- 29:01Speaker 1: my head's already it's sort of appreciation too, Like my
- 29:04Speaker 1: head's like focusing on the most little mind new bad thing.
- 29:07Speaker 1: I kind of appreciate what's going on right now. Yeah, yeah, okay, okay.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Appreciation is a very good one, I think.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I do think mine's appreciation just appreciation, appreciating like
- 29:18Speaker 2: what we have.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Yeah, we Yeah, like the fact that although like.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Genuinely, I think if you were to ask me two
- 29:30Speaker 2: years ago, all right, we'd be a couple months into
- 29:32Speaker 2: the podcast and someone said like, ah, would you be
- 29:35Speaker 2: happy making enough to live but you don't have to
- 29:39Speaker 2: work and you're just doing the podcast, I'd be like, mate,
- 29:42Speaker 2: I would have had a bit that's a lottery to me. Yeah,
- 29:44Speaker 2: And now that we're here, we don't work, like we
- 29:47Speaker 2: just do the podcast. It's the best thing ever. But
- 29:50Speaker 2: where I'm constantly thinking like, how the fuck do we
- 29:53Speaker 2: get more listeners.
- 29:53Speaker 1: How do we get more of this more of that?
- 29:54Speaker 1: We need to make more money? Like why am I
- 29:56Speaker 1: thinking that? Yeah, you recently took a Sunday off and
- 29:59Speaker 1: I don't know what you did, but you're just taking
- 30:01Speaker 1: a Sunday off With this job, You're sort of like, Oh,
- 30:03Speaker 1: your brain's always in it because there's always think about
- 30:05Speaker 1: more listens, more views, more for fucking everything. Best thing
- 30:07Speaker 1: over did. By the way, I was gonna say, you
- 30:09Speaker 1: had the Sunday off, and maybe your Sunday off of
- 30:10Speaker 1: me will be beneficial, just to appreciate what we're building
- 30:13Speaker 1: during the week. And I'm also going to take it
- 30:15Speaker 1: like one level further, like my relationships with my family,
- 30:17Speaker 1: like the position I'm in there, Like yeah, having a
- 30:19Speaker 1: loving girlfriend I love, and then my family loves me too,
- 30:21Speaker 1: Like it's a lucky thing that I don't appreciate as
- 30:23Speaker 1: much as I should.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Fuck Yeah, Like I'm on Saturday night, at about five
- 30:27Speaker 2: thirty pm, I turned my phone off, like off off.
- 30:32Speaker 1: I got a message. I've got a voice message or
- 30:33Speaker 1: a phone call from Jake, and he's like, I'm turning
- 30:36Speaker 1: my phone off all Sunday. You're the only person I'm
- 30:38Speaker 1: letting know you're You're the only person that way I
- 30:40Speaker 1: would have thought would maybe reach out to me. I
- 30:42Speaker 1: was like, I better let him know. I better let
- 30:44Speaker 1: what known.
- 30:45Speaker 2: And so I let him know, and then I turned
- 30:47Speaker 2: it off and and I went That night, Henry and
- 30:52Speaker 2: bethrough at my place, went to Dad's place for a.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Fire with family.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Getting out my phone, and when you don't have your phone,
- 30:58Speaker 2: you kind of notice how much everyone else go on
- 31:00Speaker 2: their yeah and how and I was just like every
- 31:02Speaker 2: time I noticed everyone on theirs, I'm like, I would
- 31:04Speaker 2: have been on mine right now. So it's like I
- 31:06Speaker 2: got mine a lot. Yeah, And then came home, went
- 31:10Speaker 2: to bed, usually watched TikTok before I got a bed,
- 31:11Speaker 2: didn't do that. Still fell asleep fine. For some reason,
- 31:14Speaker 2: was thinking like, am I gonna be able to fall
- 31:15Speaker 2: sleep as easy without.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Just like scrolling? It's bad for That's what I'm thinking.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Yeah, So I'm in bed, Beth's having a shower right
- 31:21Speaker 2: and I'm just like cuddling Henry and I fell asleep,
- 31:24Speaker 2: and so she comes out and I'm like, we have
- 31:26Speaker 2: to go to sleep now because I'm tired. I was like,
- 31:28Speaker 2: we have to go sleep now. And then woke up
- 31:30Speaker 2: now alarm was great. And then the next whole day
- 31:34Speaker 2: no phone. And I'm not gonna lie to you, I
- 31:36Speaker 2: think because like Henry and Beth were there. I went
- 31:38Speaker 2: and played tennis with like my dad and Joanna and
- 31:40Speaker 2: my cousin.
- 31:42Speaker 1: And very wholesome. It was just like a very wholesome. Yeah,
- 31:45Speaker 1: so I want to do it. Maybe I don't know,
- 31:48Speaker 1: maybe I just didn't do it every Sunday or something.
- 31:49Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 31:50Speaker 2: It was cool, yeah, and I didn't want to turn
- 31:52Speaker 2: it back on on Sunday night because I was like,
- 31:55Speaker 2: I'm just.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Gonna fucking think about everything.
- 31:57Speaker 2: I'm just I'm just gonna go check how many followers
- 31:59Speaker 2: we I'm going to go check what well, how the
- 32:01Speaker 2: videos are doing. I'm going to go check this, this, this, so.
- 32:04Speaker 1: But it's a toxic, like it's a bit of a
- 32:06Speaker 1: rearcurring cycle. Maybe when you're in Bali you should fucking
- 32:10Speaker 1: zen out a little more. My plan was the grinding
- 32:12Speaker 1: bally grind content. Ah right, well you can grind content
- 32:15Speaker 1: for six days, yeah, and then turn it off for
- 32:17Speaker 1: maybe I will do that.
- 32:18Speaker 2: It's probably a good idea to reset. Just do it
- 32:20Speaker 2: every single just like once a week turn it off.
- 32:22Speaker 1: But it's also it's so hard to even when you're working,
- 32:25Speaker 1: like in normal day to day jobs, like it's so
- 32:28Speaker 1: hard to turn off sometimes in the middle and in
- 32:30Speaker 1: the night. Yeah, and just like switch off from even
- 32:33Speaker 1: I know you're a teacher or your nurse, not thinking
- 32:34Speaker 1: about what's going on tomorrow, what do you got to
- 32:36Speaker 1: do tomorrow, what do you do in the morning before
- 32:37Speaker 1: you go to work. It's so hard to just like
- 32:39Speaker 1: disconnect from that and just like be in the moment.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Even like I've been really liking my Netflix time, like
- 32:43Speaker 1: from like eight till ten, I'm like, I'm trying to
- 32:47Speaker 1: turn my get off my phone, like as much as
- 32:48Speaker 1: posble say to my girlfriend, Like she says as well,
- 32:50Speaker 1: she reads, but I like watch Netflix. Yeah, she goes
- 32:52Speaker 1: off her phones. We don't text each other or anything.
- 32:55Speaker 1: And then I just trying to enjoy the Netflix film
- 32:57Speaker 1: because I like, I'm watching a TV story Star Trek
- 32:59Speaker 1: Love Star Trek, just watching it again, and I'm just like,
- 33:01Speaker 1: I just want to be here at the moment with
- 33:02Speaker 1: Star Shrek and just enjoy it, which is so much like, yeah,
- 33:07Speaker 1: it's way harder than and then when I when I
- 33:08Speaker 1: really like concentrate on it and like I'll be in
- 33:10Speaker 1: like forty five minutes in and I was like, fuck,
- 33:12Speaker 1: this is sick. Yeah. But then if I'm on my phone,
- 33:13Speaker 1: I won't appreciate the show as much.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Even one thing I hate that I do is I
- 33:17Speaker 2: try and I'm like, if I've got a couple of
- 33:19Speaker 2: hours here before bed, it's like, why don't I maybe use.
- 33:22Speaker 1: That to try and get ahead on some editing. Yeah,
- 33:25Speaker 1: I'll like it tomorrow. Yeah, that's what I do. Like,
- 33:26Speaker 1: just do it tomorrow, you do it. I literally caught
- 33:28Speaker 1: myself out today. We're getting dilemmas for Patreon, and I
- 33:30Speaker 1: was like eight thirty and I was like, OK, I'll
- 33:32Speaker 1: I get this started on tomorrow. I'll get dilemmas. Like
- 33:35Speaker 1: what am I doing?
- 33:35Speaker 2: I have like that now before we start recording tomorrow.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Fuck yeah, like I wake up with so much time
- 33:39Speaker 2: to do it.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Yeah, And I said, I'm turning my computer off because
- 33:41Speaker 1: if I leave my computer and I'll come back over
- 33:43Speaker 1: it and you'll see it all.
- 33:44Speaker 2: You'll walk past me in the glare you're like you
- 33:46Speaker 2: look good, sexy and get in there, and I could
- 33:49Speaker 2: fucking get ahead.
- 33:50Speaker 1: And I watched the get ahead and get some head
- 33:56Speaker 1: in my computer. Get Ahead. I watched a good movie
- 33:58Speaker 1: last night on Prime.
- 34:00Speaker 2: It's called The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
- 34:03Speaker 1: That's such a movie.
- 34:05Speaker 2: It's got like Henry Cavill, It's got Alan Richardson, who's
- 34:09Speaker 2: the guy that is in the new Jack Reacher, big dude.
- 34:13Speaker 2: It's got good actors, and it's about it was a
- 34:15Speaker 2: true story based on a true story, and they got
- 34:17Speaker 2: the story from Winston Churchill his like open files that
- 34:22Speaker 2: have since been only been opened since twenty.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Sixteen or something like that.
- 34:26Speaker 2: And so during World War two, right, it's just about
- 34:31Speaker 2: this story about they had to use like convicts to
- 34:34Speaker 2: do this mission because it had to be off the
- 34:37Speaker 2: books because what they were doing was considered to be
- 34:40Speaker 2: like a war crime maybe, and so it would have
- 34:43Speaker 2: been a just bit. It would have been worse, I think.
- 34:45Speaker 2: I think it basically America wouldn't have helped them in
- 34:47Speaker 2: the war or something England in the war. And I
- 34:49Speaker 2: fucking recommend watching it. It's like it was a cool movie,
- 34:52Speaker 2: like the Henry Cavill's just a fucking beast actor in it,
- 34:55Speaker 2: and it's.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Didn't do a very good gad to sell on me
- 34:58Speaker 1: just then. I didn't want to. I didn't want to
- 35:00Speaker 1: waste the time. You know what, I could try and
- 35:03Speaker 1: sell it on you in Yeah, we used to do
- 35:05Speaker 1: movie synopsis. I could do one. But so here's one
- 35:09Speaker 1: thing I will try and sell you with it.
- 35:11Speaker 2: So the guy Henry Cavill plays, Yeah, he used to
- 35:13Speaker 2: be a major and then he like went to jail
- 35:17Speaker 2: and then they needed him for this mission.
- 35:18Speaker 3: Right.
- 35:19Speaker 2: The guy that wrote James Bond based to James Bond
- 35:23Speaker 2: off this guy.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Oh yeah, actually off this guy's real guy's life. Wow.
- 35:29Speaker 1: So like James not based off anything.
- 35:32Speaker 2: He would have like dramatized James Bond obviously, but he
- 35:35Speaker 2: like what gave him the idea was like this guy's
- 35:37Speaker 2: a fucking beast, and he was like he was just
- 35:40Speaker 2: a mad dog.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Do you reckon? Anyone will do that about us one day?
- 35:43Speaker 1: Do that about us? Yeah? Like basic movie James Bond
- 35:45Speaker 1: off us. What about fan fiction? Fan fiction?
- 35:49Speaker 2: Like the boys were in there doing an ig question,
- 35:51Speaker 2: things got heated.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Jake opened his legs. Mate, your immediate thought goes to
- 35:58Speaker 1: an erotic novel, not fan fiction. I know what fan
- 36:03Speaker 1: fiction was erotica? I think no, I think fan fiction
- 36:06Speaker 1: can just be fan fiction fiction, like something like you
- 36:09Speaker 1: Turn it's fiction. We're not going to do that. You
- 36:12Speaker 1: Turn into a Dragon and fly Aways fiction, Well, that's
- 36:15Speaker 1: also fiction, but I don't think anyone wants to read that.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Fan fiction is all about the girl I was writing
- 36:19Speaker 2: something steamy take over his legs and he goes, we've
- 36:27Speaker 2: got to Steve, We've got to stop talking to us.
- 36:29Speaker 1: We'll write your own book. Yeah, we might start writing
- 36:32Speaker 1: the basis of a book for someone. It might be
- 36:34Speaker 1: a novel, come out soon. All right, everybody, thank you
- 36:43Speaker 1: very much for listening. You know what to do. Patreon
