Joan Crocker Sheridan, a beloved woman whose warmth and compassion touched everyone she met, passed away in Wilmington, North Carolina. Born on a New York farm, she lived by values of hard work and kindness, becoming a hospice volunteer and a master of gathering loved ones around her legendary lasagna and angel food cakes. Survived by her two sons, two granddaughters, and brother, she leaves behind a legacy of love and service.
