- 0:21her chicken coop along with all her chickens.
- 0:28Hey, everybody. Good morning from the chicken
- 0:30coop. So today is #7 in our energy and
- 0:35how to keep it up kind of weak. Kind of been going through this
- 0:39whole thought process about energy and what we need to do in
- 0:43order to take care of ourselves and maintain higher energy.
- 0:46And today, it's about mindset. So if you believe that, you have
- 0:53the ability to be a positive person.
- 0:56And that you like to approach things in a positive way and
- 0:59that you're full of energy, then you will have the ability to
- 1:04create that. And if you believe that you're
- 1:07just down and out, tired, negative, and you don't have
- 1:13enough time to do everything that you want to do, all of a
- 1:16sudden you're going to have a mindset that's going to put you
- 1:19there. Because the mindset is just a
- 1:24structure, if you will. That all of these emotions and
- 1:27patterns run on. So if you call on it and you
- 1:29bring it up, it will, it will give you exactly what you're
- 1:33asking for. So having a positive mindset
- 1:37about your energy and what you can do and what you can
- 1:40accomplish takes work. Trust me, it takes a lot of
- 1:45work. I have been in my life.
- 1:49Really ridiculed for the amount of energy that I bring to things
- 1:53people have said, oh, you just don't sit still.
- 1:55Oh, it's too much. Da da da da da da.
- 1:57I've heard it my whole life and you're pouring too much into it.
- 2:02And I always love when people try to tell you those things
- 2:05because it just shows me that they won.
- 2:08They're not looking at whether I'm happy or not, they're just
- 2:11looking at me compared to them. So really think about that for a
- 2:14second. What I just said when someone's
- 2:16ridiculing you and they're telling you something.
- 2:19You have to ask yourself, am I happy?
- 2:21Am I happy being that way? I'm happy being this way.
- 2:24I love to have lots of projects. I love to have my hands in the
- 2:29dirt. I love to be painting.
- 2:30I love to be doing recordings, writing.
- 2:33I love all of it. I love to go hiking and taking
- 2:37pictures. And you, you name it, it's and
- 2:40So why does it? If it's making me happy, why
- 2:42does it bother everybody else? And that is a comparison to
- 2:46where they are with their own mindset.
- 2:49Once you recognize they're not judging you for you, they're
- 2:53judging you against them, it changes how you can see them in
- 2:57the world, and then you don't get quite so hooked by them and
- 3:00it doesn't. It might sting, but it's not
- 3:03going to break you. And I think that having that
- 3:07ability to be able to discern what's really happening in those
- 3:11moments builds A healthier mindset overall.
- 3:15And then you you can really choose to be a positive growth
- 3:20minded mindset person. Now overall, I think most of us
- 3:26want to believe we are positive growth minded people and when
- 3:30asked most people will say I'm positive, but you have to ask
- 3:34yourself in an honest way, am I positive and am I living in a
- 3:38positive way? Is it just a thought I have or
- 3:41am I actually acting into my my sense of am I positive?
- 3:45Do I see the world a certain way, half empty, half full, or,
- 3:50you know, at least I have a glass?
- 3:52That was the kind of thing that I learned from my dad.
- 3:55He had such a great mindset around things and he he was not
- 3:58he. He had a heart attack early on
- 4:00in his life when he was 42 and he passed away when he was 57.
- 4:06Very young, Very sad that I lost him so early.
- 4:09And I can still hear him saying to me, when he was going through
- 4:13all kinds of treatments for all kinds of things that were wrong
- 4:16with him, I would say how you doing?
- 4:19And he would say, well, I'm not pissing in a bag.
- 4:22And that was exactly how he would say it.
- 4:24And I was like, OK, and he meant that as a good thing.
- 4:28It's a great day when I don't piss in a bag and I'm like, I
- 4:32understand. And he just had this.
- 4:35Really. Big zest for life.
- 4:38He was never sitting still either.
- 4:40So I know where I got it from. And I know for a fact that that
- 4:46watching him have that ability to say those things and look at
- 4:49the, you know, brighter side, if you will, really embodied into
- 4:55me. And I appreciate that.
- 4:56And it was a part of an aspect of him that I'm very grateful
- 4:59that I got. And I will say this, it doesn't
- 5:02stay with us unless we work on it.
- 5:06So if you're not working daily on this positive side of
- 5:10yourself, if you're not doing things like it's great that
- 5:13you're here and it's great that you're listening to this, but
- 5:16I'm going to challenge you to do things throughout the day in
- 5:18addition to this. This might be setting your day
- 5:20up, but I really want you to do it like throughout the day.
- 5:23Like I do. Pick up a book throughout the
- 5:25day. Read a couple pages here and
- 5:27there. Tell yourself that you are
- 5:30happy. You know, even if you're not,
- 5:32just think the word happy and all of a sudden happy starts to
- 5:35have a bigger place in your life.
- 5:37You don't have to say I am happy if you're not happy.
- 5:40You can just start by simply saying happy, happy and just
- 5:43walk around and say the word to give your brain a chance to
- 5:46associate to it. You can do that with pretty much
- 5:48any word as well. Like if you want to embody being
- 5:52wealthier you can just start thinking about wealth.
- 5:55You don't have to say I'm wealthy.
- 5:56If you feel uncomfortable with it, you can just start off by
- 5:59saying wealth. Again, all things to build a
- 6:02positive mindset and keep it going.
- 6:05But obviously if you're here, I believe you want to have a more
- 6:09positive mindset and keep on track.
- 6:11So you know, figure out what those little pieces are that
- 6:15you're doing throughout the day that are taking you out of that
- 6:19positive place and then slide something else in to put you in
- 6:23the positive place. It could be listening to
- 6:25audibles. It could be, you know, I take
- 6:28Play DoH breaks all the time where I'm just playing with Play
- 6:30DoH because it makes me feel good and immediately puts me
- 6:34into a great state. So figure out if you need the
- 6:39auditory, the visual, the kinesthetic pieces of it,
- 6:41meaning your reading, your hearing, your touching, you're
- 6:45seeing whatever it might be. Set yourself up to win and start
- 6:48that practice regularly and you'll start to see it shift
- 6:52immediately. It's a it.
- 6:53It is not the hardest thing in the world to see little tiny
- 6:57things showing up. You just have to acknowledge
- 6:59that they're there and be grateful for them.
- 7:02OK my friends, I will see you tomorrow and I hope you have a
- 7:05blessed day. Bye.
