  the guy that I really wanted the Vikings to draft.

  But, I mean, I'll give a guy until the end of

  next year. No, you need to get. more time i've

  been having some conversations with co -workers

  about it about this and maybe you guys have had

  it too where it's like there's a people are in

  too much of a rush and they're not giving they're

  not giving young quarterbacks enough time to

  grow and develop in a system. And we're seeing

  a lot of head coach and offensive coordinator

  turnover that's potentially impacting their growth

  from year one to year two or year two to year

  three. And what we're seeing at the moment because

  of that is you've got, like, all of these quarterbacks

  that are getting cast off doing something as
• 5:28
  a backup with, like, Shanahan, KOC, whoever.

  Sean McVay, and then going over to another team
• 5:37
  after one or two years as a backup, and then
• 5:39
  they're starting to shine again. It's like they
• 5:42
  just needed the time, and everyone's just impatient.

  I believe in J .J. McCarthy. I think he's the

  right choice, or he's a good fit. We just have
• 5:50
  to give him the time to develop. learn the system,
• 5:54
  and learn how to play in the NFL. And I agree,

  but there's a reason why these people are so,

  and they're Minnesotans, but there's a reason

  why they're so impatient is because this team

  was 14 -3 last year, and they only added on paper

  to the roster that was supposed to help get this

  team over that hump. And so I can see their frustration.

  I'm not necessarily frustrated at J .J. McCarthy

  for that. The whole team has not played well

  for most of the season. I think that's the fan

  base looking through rose -colored glasses. 14
