- 1:08SPEAKER_00: This is episode number five, which is the same as the number of the best Dragon Quest game.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: This is April 2025, and we are covering new music released in March 2025.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: Our play-in music is Oil's Bill by Analog from the game Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: The Genesis version, if that wasn't clear.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Olivia.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: It's our first Newfoundland.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: Just a big old whoopsie-doopsie.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: For those of you not fluent in toddler, that means I've got a mistake to apologize for.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: I forgot to credit Dark Sword for his track See You Next Time, Water, from Final Fantasy V that I used as outro music last episode.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: The funny thing is, I've been toying with just using that as outro music every episode.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: It's one of my favorite remixes, and I mean it's called See You Next Time.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Kind of perfect.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: And speaking of crediting, our news music has been Indian Raga by McVaff from Yoshi's Island.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: Moving on to new releases, I hope you're ready to be overwhelmed.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: OCR dropped 38 new tracks on us this month for almost three hours of music.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: I'm still dedicated to covering it all, but we're gonna have to do things a little different to make sure I have the time to record and edit this podcast.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: Each song is gonna get crediting, and then three sentences.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: No time to dwell on that.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: Let's get started! First up is Leave Me Behind from Celeste by Navi and featuring Square.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: That's S Q O R E all in cats.
- 4:07SPEAKER_03: I guess we're through.
- 4:10SPEAKER_03: Now that you've seen me alone, now that you've seen me with you.
- 4:17SPEAKER_03: Oh I can be okay with this.
- 4:21SPEAKER_03: I think I have to be, and you will go away with it.
- 4:27SPEAKER_03: And that's cool, and that's cool, and that's cool with me.
- 4:39SPEAKER_02: You think you can just leave me behind?
- 4:43SPEAKER_02: That's unfortunate.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: I don't think so.
- 4:46SPEAKER_02: Nice try.
- 4:47SPEAKER_02: You should just lay down and let entanglement strangle your eyes and shine away again.
- 4:58SPEAKER_02: You and me were intertwined and not a friend forever and ever inside.
- 5:35SPEAKER_02: It doesn't add up.
- 5:37SPEAKER_05: It makes sense.
- 5:38SPEAKER_02: You know it makes sense.
- 5:40SPEAKER_02: Every year you blame me.
- 5:43SPEAKER_02: You should blame yourself.
- 5:46SPEAKER_02: Now you've been holding me at a height you won't summon, right?
- 5:52SPEAKER_02: We both plummet through life, and there's no cushion, it's tight and so crushing.
- 6:00SPEAKER_02: Inside is so cozy.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: Always rosy, never stressed, never lonely.
- 6:11SPEAKER_02: Why would you go?
- 6:15SPEAKER_02: You think you can just leave me behind?
- 6:19SPEAKER_02: That's adorable.
- 6:21SPEAKER_02: I don't think so.
- 6:22SPEAKER_02: Nice try.
- 6:23SPEAKER_02: You should just lay down and die.
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: Let entanglement strangle your rise and shine away again.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: See you and me wearing to twine a knot a friend of forever and ever inside that was not a young production of vocals and featuring score on vibrophone.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: Very theatric.
