- 0:00Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simon Show Live from the wr Life
- 0:04Speaker 1: Back Studios.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 0:11Speaker 2: seven ten is the number. Let's go to Mara in Nevada. Mara,
- 0:15Speaker 2: how you doing so good?
- 0:17Speaker 3: Chow Vincent Mark. Jill Is on that bull face lying tour. Yes,
- 0:22Speaker 3: but she started a relationship with Joe by cheating on
- 0:26Speaker 3: her husband. All cheaters are liars, and then she hooks
- 0:31Speaker 3: up with the champion liar. You know what they deserve
- 0:35Speaker 3: where they are in the dustbin of history.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Very good, I agree, Yeah, Joe Biden on this lying tour.
- 0:42Speaker 2: You know the problem is she lied. The first day
- 0:44Speaker 2: Biden in the debate looks so bad. He couldn't talk,
- 0:47Speaker 2: he was incoherent, couldn't finish the sentence. But that's normal,
- 0:50Speaker 2: it's the way he was every day. So to lie
- 0:52Speaker 2: to make it sound like this was so unusual. Oh
- 0:54Speaker 2: my god, I thought he was having a stroke. That
- 0:56Speaker 2: was the lie, to make it sound like, oh, so
- 0:58Speaker 2: unusual for him to be like that. But then everybody said, well,
- 1:03Speaker 2: if you thought he was having a stroke, why didn't
- 1:05Speaker 2: you take him to a doctor right afterwards? Or how
- 1:07Speaker 2: come you took him from there to the waffle house,
- 1:09Speaker 2: to a big, noisy party. So now she's telling the
- 1:14Speaker 2: story yesterday that well, there were there were doctors there
- 1:17Speaker 2: and they examined them. As soon as he came off.
- 1:19Speaker 2: The doctors examined him, said he's okay, he's okay. No,
- 1:23Speaker 2: but he saw any doctor examine him. Let's go to
- 1:26Speaker 2: Mike in Florida. Mike, how you doing, good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Regarding the Scott Tully story, I was a stage manager
- 1:34Speaker 1: in New York for more than thirty years, and I
- 1:37Speaker 1: don't think the public realizes how dumb and quotes many
- 1:42Speaker 1: of these guys they see on air are sitting in
- 1:45Speaker 1: the anchor desk or on delivering the news.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Really are there.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Many of them don't have an original thought in their head.
- 1:51Speaker 1: They're actors, you know, they're reading somebody else some and
- 1:55Speaker 1: they're playing a role.
- 1:56Speaker 2: There's some anchors like that, not more.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Than I think more than many people would have say,
- 2:03Speaker 1: I think would imagine, and some that they would really
- 2:05Speaker 1: be surprised. Are you know complete knuckleheads?
- 2:08Speaker 2: Well, well, but you could tell who the dumb ones
- 2:11Speaker 2: were because they they were the pretty boys, you know,
- 2:14Speaker 2: the mannequins like Walter Kronkite was not hired for his
- 2:17Speaker 2: looks frustrated.
- 2:18Speaker 1: You're right, Kronkite wasn't. But some You're right, because a
- 2:20Speaker 1: lot of them are like frustrated actors and they just
- 2:22Speaker 1: sort of violed his journalism course and they'll put me
- 2:25Speaker 1: on on TV.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, like Mike Wallace wasn't hired because he
- 2:28Speaker 2: was a great looking guy. He was hired because he
- 2:29Speaker 2: really knew his stuff, right.
- 2:31Speaker 1: But yeah, and those guys war correspondens, and they were
- 2:34Speaker 1: old school, you know, in the old days. These guys
- 2:36Speaker 1: didn't go to journalism school. They you know, they went
- 2:38Speaker 1: to a bar and they covered the war. You know,
- 2:40Speaker 1: that's how they became journalists. You know, journalism school is
- 2:42Speaker 1: a new that fangle, you know thing for many of
- 2:45Speaker 1: these modern guys.
- 2:46Speaker 2: You know, a good example is Peter Jennings. When they
- 2:49Speaker 2: hired him at ABC, he was the youngest anchor ever
- 2:51Speaker 2: the network news. He was like twenty seven, and he
- 2:53Speaker 2: was just a pretty boy and he didn't know anything.
- 2:56Speaker 2: But he was a very smart guy deep down. He
- 2:58Speaker 2: said he actually left, he said, this is no good.
- 3:00Speaker 2: He went overseas, became a foreign correspondent, went into the field,
- 3:04Speaker 2: for years, got seasoned. He said, I'll come back as
- 3:06Speaker 2: a seasoned guy who knows what he's doing. And then
- 3:08Speaker 2: he was great, that's right.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Some guys like him have that epissany and they realized that,
- 3:12Speaker 1: you know, hey, I am just a vapid thing tweeting
- 3:15Speaker 1: somebody else's words. I'm going to prove myself. And they
- 3:17Speaker 1: do have a brain.
- 3:18Speaker 4: In their head.
- 3:18Speaker 2: But there's some I'm trying to not mention names here.
- 3:21Speaker 2: You know who they are. Yes, they just look great.
- 3:23Speaker 2: They got a big smile, they read the teleprompter and
- 3:26Speaker 2: they don't know anything bad. You're right.
- 3:27Speaker 1: And for all their crying, by the way, for all
- 3:29Speaker 1: the Scott Kelly's crying about how they're coming for the
- 3:32Speaker 1: press and the silencing the press, all they do is
- 3:34Speaker 1: complain about how the kind you know, they never stopped
- 3:37Speaker 1: talking about it, so nobody's really coming for them. I
- 3:39Speaker 1: mean that's the irony.
- 3:40Speaker 2: No, he's pretty bad. Yeah, he was a horrible guy.
- 3:43Speaker 2: But thanks for calling Mike. So was this woman telling
- 3:46Speaker 2: me this story about.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Uh?
- 3:49Speaker 2: One day he filled in for Katie Kirk on the
- 3:51Speaker 2: evening news and he's telling them what he wants and
- 3:55Speaker 2: he's going to do this story, and he said, at
- 3:57Speaker 2: this point, I will take my glasses off. He said,
- 4:01Speaker 2: as I take my glasses off, I want you to
- 4:03Speaker 2: zoom in on me as I take my glasses off.
- 4:05Speaker 2: He's staging this phony, fake news, the theatrics of it.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Let's go to Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich How you doing.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Good? Thanks?
- 4:15Speaker 5: Mary?
- 4:15Speaker 4: How is an American Idol can CALLI thirty three million
- 4:19Speaker 4: votes in five and a half minutes and have a
- 4:20Speaker 4: winner in California and New York and all these other states.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Takes them a month to tell us who's actually gonna win.
- 4:26Speaker 4: And imagine if you get what Trump once we go
- 4:28Speaker 4: to paper ballts, it will take two months to count
- 4:30Speaker 4: all the votes in the state like California.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Yeah, well, American Idol just wants the real vote from
- 4:35Speaker 2: the public California. They want that right in cheating process
- 4:39Speaker 2: because they can.
- 4:40Speaker 4: We I had a question for you, Mark. If there
- 4:42Speaker 4: was a report on the news or something that a
- 4:44Speaker 4: whole bunch of write in ballots or mail in ballots
- 4:47Speaker 4: in California got burnt up in a fire and a
- 4:50Speaker 4: voting place was damage or something, there's any two to
- 4:52Speaker 4: that story. And this is all about the Los Angeles mayors.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I don't know, we'll look into that, but that happens
- 4:57Speaker 2: all the time. That's one way they cheat. Would they
- 4:59Speaker 2: cheat with the mail in? And then Connecticut was famous
- 5:01Speaker 2: for that. You remember the one what was his name
- 5:04Speaker 2: running for governor and it looked like he was going
- 5:06Speaker 2: to win. He he won by three points, so they
- 5:08Speaker 2: had to screw around. And remember they said all the
- 5:10Speaker 2: ballots got wet. Ye, yep, they got wet and they
- 5:14Speaker 2: had to recount. It was a ridiculous thing. But I
- 5:18Speaker 2: remember Al Franken in Minnesota they found yep, yeah, yeah,
- 5:22Speaker 2: looked like he was going to lose till they found
- 5:24Speaker 2: thousands of votes in the trunk of a car that
- 5:26Speaker 2: they've been misplaced. That's how they screw around with this stuff.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Let's go to uh Dennis in Long Island. Dennis, how
- 5:32Speaker 2: you doing?
- 5:33Speaker 1: Hey?
- 5:34Speaker 5: Mark morning? How you doing? Mark? This this crazy governor
- 5:37Speaker 5: we have in New York. She's pushing for the heist
- 5:40Speaker 5: of the mask no mask? Yeah, well, want to cheat?
- 5:43Speaker 5: Want to cheat? The protesters should have no mass too,
- 5:45Speaker 5: so we can identify them.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I listen, don't try to analyze what Kathy
- 5:52Speaker 2: Hoak was doing. It's just crazy partisan knee jerk anything
- 5:56Speaker 2: to get elected. Comments If no mass is popular, show
- 6:00Speaker 2: yell no masks. But you're right, absolutely no, No. I
- 6:03Speaker 2: mean there's a reason they You heard this, This protester
- 6:08Speaker 2: that that bit the ice agent send him to the hospital,
- 6:11Speaker 2: screaming at the guy, I know who you are. I'm
- 6:13Speaker 2: gonna find your family. I'm gonna kill your family. I'm
- 6:16Speaker 2: gonna kill you. That's why they wear masks so people
- 6:17Speaker 2: can't dox them, which means figure out who they are,
- 6:21Speaker 2: get their address, go after their home. Look what happened
- 6:24Speaker 2: to Kavanaugh. Crazy lunatic shows up at his house with
- 6:28Speaker 2: a gun, a knife, a hammer, a rope. Oh, I
- 6:31Speaker 2: mean that's why they wear masks. Hey, when we come back,
- 6:34Speaker 2: the brilliant columnist Liz Peak will be with us next
- 6:38Speaker 2: on seven to ten wor
