- 1:06None the, the,
- 2:35the. Hi there.
- 3:19Are you a contentcreatorquarter.tv?
- 3:23Sounds like the place for you. I can hear you thinking, Well,
- 3:27what about YouTube? Let's face it, YouTube is all
- 3:30corporate these days. They don't care about the small
- 3:33creator. They don't care about how much
- 3:35work you pour into your content, how much time you spend making
- 3:38it better. All YouTube cares about are the
- 3:41big time media stars and people with tons of subscribers.
- 3:45Never mind the fact that they artificially inflate those
- 3:48subscriber numbers by paying for them.
- 3:51Never mind the fact that they will shadow ban you for
- 3:53something while the big names get promoted.
- 3:56Never mind that they claim freedom of speech but will ban
- 3:59you for having an idea that doesn't fall in with their
- 4:02opinions. Thank God for Quarter.
- 4:05Quarter allows you to keep your voice and will allow you to
- 4:08grow. There's no algorithm so you
- 4:11don't have to worry about being banned or having your content
- 4:14removed for something silly. At Quarter you own all rights to
- 4:18your content. YouTube can keep its wannabe
- 4:21television nonsense. The future for
- 4:23contentcreatorsisquarter.tvrememberthatsquarter.tv where your voice is respected.
- 4:53None the.
- 6:20The. You're muted, my friend.
- 7:30Oh, it's just been that kind of day.
- 7:32Brett, welcome to GOD TV Radio. I'm GTOR, and this is Brett
- 7:37Keene. Yeah, the man who has gone by
- 7:43many names over the years. Some have called you Wolfman.
- 7:47Others have called you the boogeyman of the Internet.
- 7:51Others just call you Brett. It was 'cause I started doing
- 7:56some clips where I would howl like, you know, stuff like that.
- 8:01Silly. Yeah, and then like the atheist
- 8:05will make like their little Brett Keane exposed fan wiki
- 8:09pages and try to make some huge deal out of it.
- 8:13Like, Oh my gosh, he felt so self-conscious of his lack of
- 8:17attractiveness, so he tried to betray himself as a wolfman.
- 8:22That's well, I actually was on video.
- 8:24The only difference between the way I looked was I did a howl
- 8:27every once in a while. But you're right.
- 8:29And it's always it's funny and ironic at the same time because
- 8:33I've made over 1000 videos where I appear on camera where most of
- 8:38the people are complaining haven't made over 50.
- 8:42See what I mean? Yeah, And that's one thing
- 8:45you've pointed out over the years that I've noticed too, is
- 8:48that sometimes a lot of the biggest critics we get people
- 8:52who complain about our physical appearance or our equipment set
- 8:57up or our streaming set up or the way we produce our content.
- 9:02A lot of the people who are like the biggest critics of that,
- 9:05like 8090% of the time, turn out to be people who have accounts,
- 9:11but they don't actually make videos or have Subs.
- 9:16Well, to be honest with you TT, you are when people first, like
- 9:20in the first couple of years are going after my physical
- 9:23features. It did bother me a little bit
- 9:26and I even admitted that. But then I noticed that they
- 9:29also say that people like Tom Cruise and Tom Selleck are ugly
- 9:34and I figure, well, goodness gracious, these people are just
- 9:37hateful to anybody they don't agree with.
- 9:39So. Yeah, I guess in their eyes, as
- 9:42soon as your ideologies or your world views start to contradict
- 9:47each other, that's when all physical attractiveness just
- 9:51poof disappears like a fart in the wind, and suddenly you went
- 9:55from absolutely beautiful to downright butt ugly, even though
- 10:00nothing about you changed physically.
- 10:02I hear you. And it's funny because it comes
- 10:04from the group who claims to be rational and logical and that
- 10:07all these other things are divisive, like religion.
- 10:11But the only ones that are actually divisive are the people
- 10:13who are seemingly against religion and everything else.
- 10:18Yeah, that tends to be the pattern in these days that we're
- 10:22in often than and isn't. It's not just this too, I mean
- 10:26it's all manner of things. I mean, basically I'd say about
- 10:309095% of the things that atheists and evolutionists say
- 10:34in condemnation of Christians or creationists or conservatives or
- 10:41evil orange man supporters, etcetera. 9095% of the time, the
- 10:46things they say in condemnation are things that they themselves
- 10:50are guilty of. It's almost like they think that
- 10:52projecting themselves onto somebody else, it's going to
- 10:56make them better, or at least make them feel better.
- 11:02I used to have a guy who would make comments every single day.
- 11:06He would spam with how ugly he thought I was, how stupid I
- 11:09sounded, the whole 9 yards. And then one day I decided, man,
- 11:13this guy's really mean to my feelings.
- 11:16He's giving me a sad I'm going to go check out his YouTube
- 11:19channel. The guy couldn't talk.
- 11:21He had Asperger's, apparently, and he looked like if he could
- 11:25enter Freddy Krueger look alike contest, he may win the pageant.
- 11:28I was like, why is this guy talking to me like this?
- 11:31For you know, he's no bed of roses.
- 11:34He's not winning any kind of beauty pageants himself.
- 11:38Yeah, that's when things get fun and you just start to giggle,
- 11:44because that's all you can really do in that situation when
- 11:46you're dealing with someone like that.
- 11:49You ever had a atheist who's about 500 lbs of pure cruelty
- 11:52and meanness making fun of the way you look?
- 11:54It's it's weird. It's like I could honestly get
- 11:57my feelings hurt if it was Tom Cruise insulting me, but not
- 12:01when there's someone so huge actually making fun of my
- 12:05weight. I told this one guy, I said
- 12:07you're way bigger than me. If you died tomorrow and they
- 12:10were to attach a door to you, I could live in you like a Smurf
- 12:13hotel. Are you kidding me?
- 12:16Yeah, I I know that too. But that does make me think.
- 12:19And oh, by the way, hello Dark Moon.
- 12:24But what you say does make me think about all the atheists and
- 12:27evolutionists who have interacted with me, made video
- 12:30responses to me, head back and forth with me, etcetera.
- 12:34I don't know what Professor Stick looks like physically.
- 12:36I don't know what Vice Rhino or Sir Sick look like physically,
- 12:40but I do know kind of what what Steve Mccree looks like.
- 12:44I know what Paula Gea looks like.
- 12:46I know what Shane and Q looks like.
- 12:47And I know what some of the other ones look like.
- 12:50And they're not like it's kind of weird how they're actually
- 12:55fairly normal. They're not like these huge, you
- 12:57know, 500 LB jet Ski weight, you know, people walking around.
- 13:01They're actually fairly normal. I just must have the good
- 13:06fortune to not have come across the drunken peasants.
- 13:10Yeah, well there's a lot of non believers that are like that.
- 13:14There's two different groups out there.
- 13:16There's a group who hates God, yet they'll claim up and down.
- 13:19They don't believe in them, but they'll spend all their short
- 13:22lived days talking about it. And then there's the ones that
- 13:24make money off of it and profit, the ones who get to go out to
- 13:28assemblies. And for some reason, people
- 13:30actually see them as somewhat relevant to even debate with
- 13:34like, Matt Bellahunty and such to me.
- 13:37You know, I I don't get it. When they call us fat and ugly
- 13:40and you look at their their guys like Aaron, Ron, Matt,
- 13:43Dillahunty, you look like Mr. Potato Head and something out of
- 13:46the Addams Family. It's like, are you kidding me?
- 13:49Seriously. Oh, when I was on X earlier
- 13:55today, or maybe it was yesterday, I came across a post
- 13:58regarding Albert Einstein that I thought you'd get a real kick
- 14:01out of. Because I know in some of your
- 14:03content you always like to point out how Albert Einstein is just
- 14:06one of many scientists who basically founded modern science
- 14:10and how he believed in God. Well, some religious skeptic and
- 14:15or atheist or maybe they're both decided to make a post about
- 14:19Albert Einstein allegedly saying something that I thought, man,
- 14:23you know, I kind of show this to Brett Keene and see what he
- 14:26thinks. Let me just put it up on screen
- 14:29here really quick. I think it's this.
- 14:32Yeah, it's this one. So as you can see here on
- 14:36screen, we got a person named Blue Devil, which I can't
- 14:40pronounce that handle or is in parentheses name saying to
- 14:44someone. Nancy, your claim has no factual
- 14:48basis, no matter what you say. Biblical staples like sorcery,
- 14:52necromancy, and demons don't contribute to his scientific
- 14:56worldview. Einstein was right.
- 14:58And then we have an alleged Einstein quote where he says the
- 15:02word God for me is for me nothing more than the expression
- 15:06and product of human weakness, the Bible, the collection of
- 15:09honorable but still primitive legends.
- 15:11No interpretation, no matter how subtle, can for me change this
- 15:18so? So for people out there that
- 15:21don't know, in case 223 hasn't been good to you on this and you
- 15:25live under a rock, there's things out there called meme
- 15:28generators. I can take a picture of TTOR
- 15:31right now, throw it through the meme generator, and then Simply
- 15:36put whatever nonsense I went to it with the name of the person.
- 15:40Like I could put Hitler on there and have it say that he enjoyed
- 15:43church last Sunday. That's what atheists do.
- 15:46Now you'll notice if you look at any of the images I put up a
- 15:50scientist, I have the page numbers, the books, the sources
- 15:53where you can find the quote. Yeah, that's a pretty big
- 15:58difference and and you're right about the meme maker thing.
- 16:02But I sit here looking at this as someone who makes my own
- 16:06graphic designs for my content and do this for a living at my
- 16:10job. I could very easily not only
- 16:14recreate this meme myself and make it something totally
- 16:18ridiculous and yet look like it's real.
- 16:21I could make it look physically more appealing than the way this
- 16:24person did it. You know, like use the cool text
- 16:27and use some crazy looking fonts for the text instead of just
- 16:31basic bold Times New Roman font like this person did.
- 16:36Honestly though, and this is going to come off cold blooded,
- 16:40but even if Albert Einstein, all his God quotes and everything he
- 16:45ever said, if atheist wanted to claim him, I wouldn't care.
- 16:49This is the same guy who invented the atom bomb.
- 16:52He's the one that created something that killed millions
- 16:55of people along with them. What is that?
- 16:57Oppenheimer or whatever his name is?
- 16:59So if they wanted to go along with that, fine.
- 17:03He's your atheist if you want him.
- 17:06Right. Well +2 even in the best case
- 17:09scenario that my, you know, creative imagination can think
- 17:13of. Even if this quote of his was
- 17:16100% legit, I would bet 20 bucks that it was early on, earlier on
- 17:21in his life that he said it. And that the God quotes that you
- 17:24have for him came later in his life after he had, you know,
- 17:27lived more and done more discoveries and you know,
- 17:31observed the world around him for a longer period of time.
- 17:34I could totally imagine him saying this in his younger
- 17:37years. Well, there's a lot of
- 17:40scientists as well as comedians that would probably surprise
- 17:44atheists. I remember for the longest time
- 17:46even I thought this. I thought George Carlin, one of
- 17:49the greatest philosopher comedians out there.
- 17:52I used to think that he was an atheist because he mocked
- 17:54religion and all that. But he did an interview on,
- 17:58what's that guy's name, Larry King.
- 18:00You know who he is? Yeah, and he said that, oh,
- 18:03atheism's a religion. I don't believe any of that
- 18:06nonsense and all that. And he said there very well
- 18:08could be a God. And he made it clear, abundantly
- 18:11clear he wasn't an atheist. And that shocked me.
- 18:14Carl Sagan's another one that the atheist like to say is
- 18:17theirs. He had his moments where he said
- 18:20some stuff. He did the whole sky daddy
- 18:22routine. But as he got older, he started
- 18:25talking about how the Cosmos have the appearance of design.
- 18:29Richard Dawkins talked about that as well.
- 18:33Yeah, that's a pretty common theme for people who actually
- 18:37observe the reality around us. I still remember back in the 80s
- 18:43there was an evolutionist guy named Douglas Fujiyima who wrote
- 18:48a book, Evolution on Trial. And in this particular book he
- 18:54made the case that if young Earth creationism were to be
- 18:59true, then when we look at the fossil record, what we should
- 19:02see is animals and animal groups, at least you know, the
- 19:06vast majority if not all of them.
- 19:08When they enter the fossil record, they should be fully
- 19:11formed, fully developed, with no evidence of any kind of
- 19:15evolutionary ancestry or ancestors.
- 19:19And if evolution is true, that's what you should see is all that
- 19:21stuff. Well, just a couple years later,
- 19:24Richard Dawkins puts out his book The Blind Watchmaker, and
- 19:28he writes that the fossil record looks literally how Douglas
- 19:32Fujiyima said it would look if Young Earth creationism was
- 19:36true, and that therefore creationists are probably
- 19:39delighted by this news. And so, yeah, when you look at
- 19:44people who actually observe the reality around us, even those in
- 19:48the atheist evolutionist camp, even they, when they are honest
- 19:52with themselves, will admit reality has the appearance of
- 19:56design. And in this particular case,
- 19:58reality has the appearance you would expect if you don't hear
- 20:01if creationism was true, which is basically the evolutionist
- 20:05worst nightmare, which is why they Rage Against it so much
- 20:09because they can't stand the idea of that being true and that
- 20:12there's actually good evidence for it.
- 20:13So yeah. One of the the things too, and I
- 20:18did a video recently talking about evolution a little bit, as
- 20:22I don't understand why atheists see it as a friend of theirs or
- 20:26something or something that they should get behind.
- 20:29So much because even Darwin himself said that he believed
- 20:33evolution to be a guided process, that he believed that a
- 20:36mind was required in order for the whole deal to work.
- 20:39I sure Darwin said some other ignorant things and all that,
- 20:42but in his autobiography he believed that there was a
- 20:46intelligent life form behind all of this.
- 20:49So the point is, is that if you were to get an atheist in here
- 20:52right now and ask them, is evolution based upon variables
- 20:57and patterns? Is it a consistent guiding
- 20:59process? I mean, once they go down that
- 21:02rabbit hole, it's over. Yeah, that's pretty much it.
- 21:08I mean that also reminds me of Darwin to Jesus's testimony
- 21:13about when he be as an atheist and then he started doing more
- 21:16deep thinking and research into philosophy and other scientific
- 21:21related topics. And basically, his one of his
- 21:24atheist friends that he trusted told him to his face that if he
- 21:28continued to do this kind of inquiry, that he wouldn't be an
- 21:31atheist for much longer, thus proving to a degree that atheism
- 21:37is reliant on ignorance in order to be maintained.
- 21:40Like, yes, the arguments they make, they sound great at first
- 21:43glance, or they sound great if you don't think too deeply about
- 21:47it. But then as as soon as you start
- 21:49thinking deeply about it, that's when it starts to break down.
- 21:53And that's when you can't maintain your atheistic
- 21:55worldview anymore. And that's when the atheists go
- 21:58into the whole oh, you're just, you know, insert the ad home.
- 22:03Right, I hear you there. There's a couple things that
- 22:07people can do whenever they're debating or they're in a quick
- 22:10argument, like on Twitter or something with an atheist.
- 22:13Like for instance, if an atheist says something like something is
- 22:17evil or something about religion or God is evil, ask them where
- 22:21they get the moral framework to be able to make that kind of
- 22:24condemnation or judgement. And ask them where does evil and
- 22:28good come from. See, even William Lane Craig
- 22:30would argue that as long as you're arguing that there's
- 22:33objective evil in the world, there's got to be an opposite to
- 22:36the spectrum. There has to be objective good
- 22:39evil itself. Could be the proof of God.
- 22:42Strange, huh? Yeah, it's 'cause, you know, if
- 22:46atheism is true, I mean, there's no such thing as good and evil
- 22:50in any kind of objective sense outside the human mind.
- 22:53Good and evil in that case would be subjective.
- 22:56They would be dependent upon the human mind or the group of human
- 23:00minds that were creating these values, which you know, you
- 23:05might be great at DAT condemning people within that particular
- 23:09subjective moral system, but as soon as you try to condemn
- 23:13someone else who abides by a completely different moral
- 23:16system, that's subjective in nature also, then it falls
- 23:20apart. You lose all ability to condemn
- 23:22anyone because your definitions, your values, have no meaning
- 23:26outside of your little artificial construct that you've
- 23:29created and has no power over someone else's construct.
- 23:32So yeah, when it's becomes impossible to objectively
- 23:36condemn other cultures or other people, groups who subscribe to
- 23:40different moral values. You want to know another one
- 23:44that you'll probably get a kick out of.
- 23:47It's one of the simplest tricks in the world.
- 23:49I don't know if it would be considered a trick, but if they
- 23:52say I'm more logical than you and rational, which they like to
- 23:55boast about a lot, say, well, I would be interested in hearing
- 23:59you explain to me what rationality and logic is.
- 24:01How does the process function within your consciousness and
- 24:05mind and its origin? I'd like to know that, and also
- 24:09doesn't it require a mind in order for rationality and logic
- 24:12to exist? Another rabbit hole, see.
- 24:16Right, right. Because, yeah, in order for
- 24:21logic and rationality to exist, if they're not eternal, if they
- 24:26haven't always been there, you know, like a eternal God, if
- 24:31they have any kind of origin at all, they have to start
- 24:34somewhere. And as far as we can see in our
- 24:37observed existence, like logic, rationale, a reason, that kind
- 24:43of stuff always comes from a mind, especially a human mind.
- 24:49I mean we don't know the thoughts exactly of most
- 24:52animals, but it's hard to believe that most if any of them
- 24:57have anywhere close to the kind of thoughts that we have in
- 25:00terms of rationality and logic and reason, anything beyond a
- 25:05very rudimentary, you know, sense based.
- 25:09I'm sure, I guess. I'm.
- 25:10Sure, you probably heard of this guy before, John Lennox, one of
- 25:14the greatest mathematicians alive in the world.
- 25:17He debated Richard Dawkins, and I never heard any Christians
- 25:21actually use this debate tactic that he used.
- 25:24But he asked Richard Dawkins and he also said that he wrote a
- 25:28letter to Stephen Hawking asking if the universe is logical and
- 25:32rational. Now this puts Richard Dawkins in
- 25:35a pretty, pretty tight spot, because if he says that it's a
- 25:39universe of chaos with no order or law in it, then there's no
- 25:43reason why his evolution should work or the cosmos or anything.
- 25:47If he does say it, then the next question is, isn't a mind
- 25:51required for logic and rationality that exists?
- 25:53You can't get that out of an inanimate object or a a puddle
- 25:57of slug mud, you know what I mean?
- 26:00Yep, that is definitely the truth.
- 26:04But as far as logic and rationality goes, then there's
- 26:08the flip side, which is the emotional side.
- 26:11And typically what you see atheists and evolutionists do
- 26:15once again in almost a projectionist fashion, is they
- 26:19like to claim that basically people like me and people like
- 26:23you, Well, you know, emotional appeals is what got us to
- 26:27embrace the world view that we did.
- 26:29And it's actually the absence of logic and reason and rationality
- 26:35and evidence that not only allowed us to adhere to the
- 26:39world views you and I have today, but it's also how we stay
- 26:42there. And yet what we find is actually
- 26:45the opposite is true. I actually have this post on Ex
- 26:49that I came across recently from another Christian that I thought
- 26:52really hit the nail on the head. And it even made me think of
- 26:56your story as far as how you became an atheist, like that
- 26:59whole history of Brett Keene video you did.
- 27:02Yeah. But this is what Derek wrote.
- 27:06Derek Beeler. I believe radical change in
- 27:09viewpoint or worldview often not always, starts emotionally and
- 27:15then moves to the intellectual to justify it.
- 27:18I saw Jacqueline Glenn's story of becoming an atheist very
- 27:22emotional in its beginning, and the intellectual came later.
- 27:26I've watched Christians deconstruct for emotional
- 27:29reasons like evangelical support for evil orange man or COVID
- 27:34policies or church hurt, and the intellectual came later.
- 27:38In essence, we like to believe what we want to be true and once
- 27:42are often emotional. And I have seen that plenty of
- 27:46times, especially when I knew people who were Christians and
- 27:50then they left the faith because, Oh well, you know, the
- 27:53people at this church were total hypocrites.
- 27:56Or these people at this church, you know, offended me or hurt me
- 28:00or screwed me over in some way. I've seen and heard that a lot.
- 28:05And like Derek points out, that's a pretty emotional
- 28:09reaction. And it's not an intellectual
- 28:11one, because at that point you would think, OK, let's compare
- 28:15with these, if so-called Christians are doing to the
- 28:18Bible to see if what they're doing comes from that biblical
- 28:22worldview or if it's something that's condemned by their own
- 28:26worldview and they're just being rebels against God towards me.
- 28:30But a lot of people don't do that kind of deep thinking
- 28:34because the emotional part really gets to them first and it
- 28:38kind of drowns out the intellectual.
- 28:41And then, like Derek points out, after they've changed world
- 28:45views based on an entirely emotional reason, then they
- 28:48realized, oh crap, I mean the intellectual justification to
- 28:51stay in this position. And so they start constructing
- 28:54around that what was originally an emotional conversion.
- 28:59Well, a lot of atheists like this guy on Twitter.
- 29:02I mean, first of all, there's nothing wrong with emotionally
- 29:06getting involved with something. There's nothing wrong with our
- 29:09emotions unless you're actually out hurting someone based upon
- 29:13your emotions. I never understood that
- 29:15argument. Oh, my ear.
- 29:17You know, you did it because your feelings, or you're doing
- 29:19it because you're scared, or you're doing it because you're
- 29:21angry. A lot of inventions get created
- 29:24in order to make people feel emotionally better.
- 29:26And they're true. They're real #2 Let's try this
- 29:32out. If you and I right now we're to
- 29:34agree that we absolutely we love Christmas, but we don't believe
- 29:39in an actual Santa Claus. Is that going to make us smarter
- 29:43or more intelligent simply because we say something doesn't
- 29:46exist? Does all of a sudden our IQ jump
- 29:49up to like Peterson Value all of a sudden spectrum because we say
- 29:54something isn't real? I.
- 29:56Feel my IQ going up by 50 points, Brett, right if.
- 30:00I if I say that 100 things and stuff in this world that people
- 30:04have spoken about, I just simply don't agree with it.
- 30:07I don't believe in it unless I see evidence.
- 30:10Just doesn't somehow all of a sudden make me have a scientific
- 30:13mind or some kind of genius because I say I don't like
- 30:16something or agree with it. That's the point.
- 30:19So I don't know where they get this idea.
- 30:22A lot of these people like this guy.
- 30:23For instance, 10 bucks says he never even made it through high
- 30:26school. But now go ahead, Derek.
- 30:29Derek's actually a Christian. He was just making like a
- 30:31general commentary on conversions on one side or the
- 30:35other. I.
- 30:36Must have been thinking about the other tweet that you put up.
- 30:39You, man. You look at a lot of Twitter
- 30:41feeds there, guy, but you get my point.
- 30:44Yeah, I get your point completely.
- 30:46Yeah, it's totally valid. Just figured I'd point out that
- 30:49little thing. Yeah, but man, yeah, what were
- 30:57we just talking about again? My brain just had a reset
- 31:00moment. Well.
- 31:01We were talking about how emotions are not, it's not some
- 31:05kind of condemning thing. I mean, it's especially like
- 31:10when you when you met your woman for the first time, you still
- 31:13going out in a relationship, right?
- 31:15You were probably drawn to her through emotions and all that
- 31:19and all the other stuff came later.
- 31:21It's just the way it is. That's the way it naturally
- 31:23works. Doesn't mean emotions are wrong
- 31:26or they're temperamental. You know, someone has a feeling
- 31:29about something or an instinct or what they call and it's not
- 31:33cliche. I had a gut feeling about this.
- 31:36How many times have people been right about those instincts and
- 31:38gut feelings and why do they even exist in the 1st place
- 31:42Would be my question. Right.
- 31:44Why would you have a gut instinct?
- 31:46And why is it that sometimes your gut instinct is more
- 31:50correct than your rationalization away of those
- 31:53instincts are? It's definitely one of life's
- 31:56great mysteries if you're an atheist.
- 31:59One of the reasons why Christian survived so long is because
- 32:02we've been able to emphasize and extend on something that could
- 32:06be a possible danger that we may have not even engaged yet.
- 32:10Isn't that interesting? Darwin even spoke about it.
- 32:13How we have this ability to look forward into the future of
- 32:16something that might be posed as a threat before it's even
- 32:20happened. Our brain is capable of doing
- 32:23that. That's something a computer
- 32:24can't even do. Yep, that is very true, Very
- 32:29true indeed. Yeah, of course, you know, the
- 32:33way that they're trying to develop AI, I'm sure at some
- 32:36point they're going to have AAI system that's going to be able
- 32:39to as close as possible do that. But even if they get it to that
- 32:43point, it's still really complicated and hard to do, and
- 32:48there's no way that something like that can just naturally
- 32:52evolve over undefined, unobservable, long period of
- 32:57time. Like they want us to believe in
- 32:59school and academia and all that well.
- 33:02They they do have, they do have some AI that are able to do
- 33:06something kind of like it called prediction analysis, where it's
- 33:10able to put forth some idea of how something could possibly be,
- 33:15but it doesn't have the ability to do that.
- 33:17Like let's say that you and I are out camping and we hear some
- 33:21noise our brain is immediately going to come up with an image
- 33:24of oh damn, is it a bear? Could it be some kind of migrant
- 33:27who's armed to the teeth, who's coming into our camp?
- 33:30We can't see them yet, but we hear the sounds in our brains
- 33:33already. Manufacturing ideas.
- 33:35What it could be. The computer doesn't have the
- 33:37ability to do that. If you tell it it's a bear,
- 33:40it'll turn around, tell you what a bear can do to you and how to
- 33:43maul you of. Course, yeah.
- 33:49But now I remembered exactly what I was thinking about with
- 33:51this whole emotional talk. So I don't experience emotions
- 33:58like normal people do due to being on the high.
- 34:02And I emphasize high functioning end of the autism spectrum.
- 34:07But I do experience emotions. And so when I look at the kind
- 34:11of stuff that people experience that causes them to deconvert
- 34:17from Christianity to atheism, for example, my brain just can't
- 34:22go there. I mean, even when I will used to
- 34:24be an older of creationist in my early 20s.
- 34:27And then when I was 24, 1/2 years old, I ended up having a
- 34:33short season of time where I ended up converting from older
- 34:37of creationism to younger of creationism.
- 34:40There was a very brief moment when I realized for me, oh wow,
- 34:45these older of creationist apologist figures that I looked
- 34:48up to and was getting a lot of my information from and thought
- 34:52they were really good godly people.
- 34:54Not only are they wrong about these things regarding origins,
- 34:58but they're not even being honest with the scriptures after
- 35:03they spend all their time talking about how important it
- 35:05is to accurately represent what the Bible says.
- 35:09And I had this brief, you know, emotional response that's like,
- 35:14holy crap, I've been so wrong about this.
- 35:17But then click, it was gone. Just like a fleeting thought.
- 35:21And then rational part of my brain took over and I embraced
- 35:26you on your creationism back then and been going over nine
- 35:30years since that time. But yeah, I had AI had an
- 35:34emotional reaction in that time, but it was so fleeting and
- 35:39brief. I mean, in retrospect, I'm
- 35:42thinking that what I was experiencing can't be that
- 35:44normal for most people, or at least for a lot of people.
- 35:48I have a lot of friends on both sides who have claimed to be on
- 35:54the spectrum of autism and all that, and they seem to all
- 35:57believe that they feel in a different way than than what
- 36:01they call normal people do. And I don't see it.
- 36:05I see that whenever like a if yourself, if you were to lose
- 36:08someone you care about, it would affect you majorly emotionally,
- 36:13probably just as bad as someone else.
- 36:15So what is it that you think is different the way you feel than
- 36:19someone that you would classify or define as normal?
- 36:22Exactly. Well, you kind of touched on it,
- 36:25like extreme things that would cause anyone to cry or be really
- 36:29sad. You know, death of a loved one,
- 36:32death of a family member, or, you know, you lose all your
- 36:37worldly possessions due to some horrific accident or you get in
- 36:42a car accident. Yeah, that kind of stuff would,
- 36:45you know, rattles me like a normal person.
- 36:48But like, the minor annoyances of life that in today's age
- 36:52would just set some people off, that kind of stuff, like,
- 36:57doesn't even faze me. Like, even the stuff that some
- 36:59people would like find really annoying and they would, like,
- 37:03sour their mood. I kind of look at it and just
- 37:06kind of like, chuckle like, ha. And then it just kind of rolls
- 37:10off of me and I just, you know, keep moving forward, doing
- 37:13whatever it is I'm doing in that moment.
- 37:15It's just, but it's the smaller things that you know, normal
- 37:20people might be miffed at or get some aggravation over.
- 37:24For some reason, that stuff doesn't bother me as much.
- 37:28Well, it shouldn't, especially since you're a social media guy.
- 37:33You you are constantly absorbing all these terrible stories and
- 37:38weird. Are you still there?
- 37:39You kind of froze. Oh, you look like you froze for
- 37:41a moment. But the point is, is that you've
- 37:44seen a lot of things go down. And I think that whether you
- 37:48define someone as normal or not, you become desensitized after
- 37:52you've been called the name 100 times, you hear it again.
- 37:55It's like, yeah, whatever, you know, just rolls down your back.
- 37:59I don't think that that's abnormal or any different than
- 38:02the way a normal person would react to it.
- 38:06Yeah, that's probably also because normal people.
- 38:10Well, let me rephrase this. The number of content creators
- 38:14in the world, even though there's a lot of us, we're a
- 38:17minority compared to what we would call the normies who don't
- 38:21make content. So because they don't have that
- 38:24exposure that like you and I have to all these different
- 38:26stimuli and all these different aggravations, I guess I'll call
- 38:30them, I guess they're more sensitive to it when it happens
- 38:33and they haven't been desensitized enough to let it
- 38:37roll off of them. So I think that's kind of what
- 38:40I'm understanding at this point. You've seen it.
- 38:44You've you've experienced enough to where you know when to react
- 38:49and when not to and all that. I think that that's perfectly
- 38:51normal. Thanks.
- 38:53Atheist. Yeah.
- 38:56I I feel like they've really, I I think that because of the
- 39:00existence of atheists, a lot of Christians have stepped up their
- 39:04game, especially in debates. I think that they've gotten to
- 39:07the point where they're starting to realize that sometimes
- 39:11there's some people you just can't reason or rationalize
- 39:14with. You know what?
- 39:15Like what did the Bruce Wayne's Butler say in The Dark Knight?
- 39:20He said. Some people just want to see the
- 39:22world burn. Yep, I remember that movie very
- 39:27well. It's one of my all time
- 39:28favorites, especially when you look at Heath Ledger's Per Trail
- 39:33of the Joker. I saw that villain and that
- 39:37particular portrayal and I thought, wow, that is what a
- 39:41real atheist looks like. Well, to be a lot of them look
- 39:48up to the guy, they look up to the character.
- 39:51I remember when Heath Ledger was a a pretty man in movies.
- 39:55He wasn't getting as much love, but he suddenly becomes this
- 39:59chaotic clown that's killing people and burning money and
- 40:03basically saying to hell with the system and all that.
- 40:06And they're rooting and Tooting for them.
- 40:08They like that. Yeah, I have this book called
- 40:11God on the Streets of Gotham. I forget what the author's name
- 40:14is, but basically he did like a deep theological analysis of
- 40:18like all Batman media and what it can teach us about God and
- 40:22ourselves and you know, how we relate to all that.
- 40:26And he had a really nice section talking about Heath Ledger's
- 40:29Joker and about how basically atheists at first would agree
- 40:35with him about the godless nature of the universe.
- 40:38Because when you listen to Heath Ledger's Joker in The Dark
- 40:41Knight, you very much come away with the idea that he doesn't
- 40:44believe any kind of God exists and that things are what they
- 40:49are and everything's chaos. Because, you know, that's what
- 40:52you get if evolution in billions of years and deep time is true.
- 40:55You just get random chance chaos over time.
- 41:00And so atheists were on board with that.
- 41:03But then the Joker, being consistent with atheism,
- 41:05basically took it to a length where people are like, wait a
- 41:09minute, now we can't go along with that.
- 41:12Namely, what the Joker did in that movie through his actions
- 41:16and words is he basically said, you know, yeah, there is no God,
- 41:21we live in a godless universe that has no objective morality.
- 41:24But any one of you that try to make up your own little
- 41:27self-righteous moral code, it's all a bad joke.
- 41:31It doesn't really exist. There's no point in making up
- 41:34some kind of subjective moral system if there is no objective
- 41:39moral standard that exists outside the human mind.
- 41:42And that's the part where atheists and evolutionists start
- 41:45to back away from their embrace of the Joker as a character
- 41:49because he's willing to go to the logical conclusion that
- 41:53atheism leads you to, but that most atheists and evolutionists
- 41:57aren't willing to actually, at least in public, verbalize and
- 42:02go to. Mainly, he acts as if everything
- 42:06is subjective and that you don't have the ability to condemn his
- 42:10actions. Because, you know, we live in a
- 42:13godless universe where no one's held accountable ultimately for
- 42:16what they do. So you should just live however
- 42:18you want. And if that involves, you know,
- 42:19putting on clown makeup and a purple suit with no labels and
- 42:23going around murdering mobsters and ripping people off of their
- 42:27money and getting into epic fist fights with vigilantes, well
- 42:31then what's it to you? That's basically the philosophy
- 42:36of the Joker character in that movie.
- 42:38Yeah, that is for sure. But there is some interesting
- 42:42things where the I guess people didn't notice it.
- 42:46Where he does kind of contradict himself while he is supposed to
- 42:49be like a sociopath or crazy, but when he's sitting in that
- 42:53room with Batman and he says, oh I don't, I don't want to get rid
- 42:57of you, you complete me. Basically he's saying that he
- 43:01needs somebody like Batman around with a moral framework so
- 43:04he has something to bounce off if it wasn't for Batman.
- 43:08Even in the comic books, it shows like there's comic books
- 43:12in an alternative universe. What if the Joker managed to
- 43:14somehow kill Batman? Or Batman was killed by
- 43:17accident? The Joker goes out of his mind.
- 43:21He loses it because he doesn't have that moral framework to
- 43:24bounce off anymore. Yeah, and the context of The
- 43:28Dark Knight movie, though the book I was referring to also had
- 43:32a analysis of that. Basically, Batman represents to
- 43:37the Joker, you know, justice. He's like in sudden sense,
- 43:42morally pure, or at least he represents something pure.
- 43:46And so the Joker's obsession with him is to basically try to
- 43:52knock Batman down to his level. But the problem is, is that he
- 43:55can't. And so that's why he went after
- 43:57Harvey Dent in the movie, is because he knew he couldn't
- 44:01bring Batman down to his level, and he knew he couldn't beat
- 44:03Batman in the fistfight. So we had to drag someone else
- 44:07down to Joker's level to be his ace in the hole that ended up
- 44:11being Harvey Dent in that movie. But you're right though, about
- 44:14the different versions of the Joker.
- 44:15I mean, I don't know how many Batman cartoons and comics and
- 44:19whatnot that you've read, but there's been several different
- 44:23versions of the Batman universe where the Joker and Batman are
- 44:27talked about as being two sides of the same coin.
- 44:31That basically Batman and Joker, while they have different
- 44:34theatrics and they have different costumes and we are
- 44:37ones of vigilante who fights criminals and the other is the
- 44:40worst of the worst criminal. But fundamentally, at their
- 44:44core, they're really the same. And that's why in the Batman
- 44:49Arkham Knight video game spoiler alert, when Batman was having
- 44:54hallucinations of the Joker all around him, his great fear was
- 44:59that he was slowly turning into the Joker.
- 45:02And over the course of the game, your character over the course
- 45:06of the story starts to lose control.
- 45:08Every time he's exposed further to Scarecrow's hallucination
- 45:12gases. And then at the end of the game,
- 45:16in order to beat the Scarecrow, he actually gives into his fear.
- 45:20And he, for a brief period of time, actually does become the
- 45:23Joker, at least in his noggin, which leads to a crazy ending to
- 45:28that game. But Batman and Joker in many
- 45:31different versions of the story have been seen as two sides of
- 45:35the same coin, and that the two really could be each other's
- 45:39could live each other's life. There's even an episode of the
- 45:44cartoon show from the mid 2000s called The Batman where the
- 45:48Joker got tired of Batman always spoiling his evil schemes, so he
- 45:52decided to just become Batman himself.
- 45:55And then he tried to kill Batman off with some Joker Venom, which
- 45:59was causing Batman to become like the Joker for a brief
- 46:03little period of time until he died.
- 46:05From, you know, all the stuff that Joker Venom does to people
- 46:10mainly cause them to, you know, have the stiff body and the
- 46:13rigid smile and basically they suffocate because they can't
- 46:16breathe anymore. Look.
- 46:18Far as comic books and cartoons and movies, I I grew up there
- 46:24was AI lived in the city and there was a comic book place
- 46:27right down the road and I'd go there and read them all.
- 46:30I'll be honest with you and hopefully this doesn't offend
- 46:32anybody, but I didn't care. Give a rat's ass for Marvel
- 46:36comic books, the Captain America scene or anything.
- 46:40And I wasn't a super huge fan of Superman either.
- 46:43Batman was my guy, and the reason why was because this was
- 46:47a human who was basically doing things based upon his instinct
- 46:51and his human abilities and that that really did it for me.
- 46:56Superman was too glorified to opi don't think it was until
- 47:01Christopher Reeves Superman movie where I really started
- 47:04going. Now I see the appeal.
- 47:06And then Henry Cavillo was like, yeah, but Batman was always my
- 47:10guy. Yeah, I'm pretty much the same
- 47:13way. I was never really that big a
- 47:16fan of the general Marvel Universe.
- 47:18Like, I liked Spider Man in his story, but it's mostly because,
- 47:23you know, he's an angsty teen that a lot of people can relate
- 47:26to. And that's also why a lot of
- 47:28people Batman appeals to a lot of people too, is because, I
- 47:31mean, yeah, he's like super duper, duper rich, like Elon
- 47:34Musk rich. And you know, he's trained his
- 47:37body to where he's basically at the peak of human physicality
- 47:40and athletic ability. But at his core, he has no
- 47:45superpowers. And in that sense, he's just
- 47:47like every one of us. And so when you see Batman, not
- 47:51just in his own universe, but then he starts crossing over if
- 47:54the other DC characters, and he's fighting all the same
- 47:57monstrous alien villains that they are.
- 48:00And you see how a normal human stacks up in those scenarios.
- 48:04Batman's a really appealing character in that regard because
- 48:08a lot of people look at him and think, Dang well, if I had that
- 48:11much money, and if I had, you know, all that time and
- 48:16opportunity to train my body to the point where I'm, you know,
- 48:19strong and fast and can hit hard and know all these martial arts
- 48:22and stuff, well, then I could do it too in theory.
- 48:27And that's what I think draws a lot of people about Batman.
- 48:29You. Know, a lot of people don't
- 48:31think about this whenever it comes to Batman.
- 48:33But, you know, besides seeing his witness and his parents
- 48:38being killed right in front of him, nobody ever thinks about
- 48:41this part. When little Bruce Wayne goes
- 48:44back to the mansion, that's not his home, that's his parents
- 48:48home. So he's walking around in a
- 48:50house filled with pictures of his parents and constantly
- 48:54reminded every second of the day that they used to live there and
- 48:58they're dead. Usually if somebody loses, like
- 49:01their family or somebody if they don't manage to have a
- 49:03psychiatric breakdown, they try to move away from that place or
- 49:07get rid of the material. But not him.
- 49:10All the way up into his adulthood, he was reminded of
- 49:13that loss. Yeah, and that reminds me too of
- 49:18the movie Batman Begins. Because there's that part
- 49:20explaining his whole back story before he became Batman, where
- 49:23he returns to Gotham to be in the crowd at the trial of Joe
- 49:29Chill, the guy who murdered his parents because they were going
- 49:32to let him off early in exchange for his testimony in regards to,
- 49:36you know, some crime boss. And yeah, when Bruce went to his
- 49:42house before the trial, basically he's walking through
- 49:45with Alfred, Alfred's talking to him and trying to convince him
- 49:49that Wayne Manor is his house. It's not his parents house
- 49:51anymore. And basically Bruce didn't want
- 49:53anything to do with it. He saw the house as his parents
- 49:57house. He didn't see it as his own
- 49:58home. He even told Alfred that if he
- 50:00had his way, he pulled the whole house down brick for brick
- 50:03because he didn't view it as his home.
- 50:06At that point in his life, he viewed it as well, This was my
- 50:08parents home, but my parents are dead and you know, I've been
- 50:13abroad for so long, it just doesn't feel like home anymore.
- 50:16So I think that I think of that scene in that movie when you
- 50:20were talking about what you just said.
- 50:24Yeah, I hear you there. You have seen me a lot of
- 50:27Batman. And then, of course, whenever I
- 50:30brought children into the world, I wanted to introduce them to a
- 50:33lot of the cool superheroes I liked.
- 50:36But unfortunately, I even though I wasn't a big fan of Marvel,
- 50:41and I did check out Spider Man, I I didn't have any hate towards
- 50:44Spider Man. But it really wasn't until the
- 50:47movies where I really started going, yeah, especially the
- 50:50stuff with Thanos. I was like, damn, that's rough.
- 50:56Yeah. I never did get around to seeing
- 50:57the end game movies, but yeah. Oh, you should.
- 51:03You should. It's.
- 51:04It is really, really good. Like I said, I wasn't a Marvel
- 51:08guy, but I sat down with my son and my daughter and watched The
- 51:11Avengers and it's definitely emotional.
- 51:15It's captivating. It's it's a pretty powerful
- 51:18story, yeah. Although, you know, it's funny
- 51:23now that I think about it, when you think about general
- 51:25superhero stories, the element of tragedy in the light in their
- 51:30lives, their superhuman abilities and even their moral
- 51:34weaknesses. In which case a lot of the
- 51:36modern comics, they'd like to portray the heroes as being lust
- 51:41filled degenerates who were just looking to bang when they're not
- 51:43battling the bad guys. When you think about all of
- 51:47those kind of things that are going on in modern superhero
- 51:52stories, and then you look at people in the Bible like Samson,
- 51:58you begin to realize that modern day superheroes are very loosely
- 52:04based on people like Samson who really existed in space-time
- 52:08history. When you look at Samson from the
- 52:11Book of Judges, he was judge over Israel for 20 years.
- 52:16He, you know, wanted to marry a Philistine woman instead of, you
- 52:21know, doing whatever it was he was doing at the time.
- 52:25And then right as he was about to marry her, the Philistines,
- 52:30they get her to betray him in that whole Riddle contest they
- 52:35had at their wedding. And they threatened her and her
- 52:38father with death if she didn't comply with their demand.
- 52:41And so she did what they asked, but then they ended up killing
- 52:45her anyway. And so then in response,
- 52:48Sampson, you know, goes into mourning.
- 52:51And then he's captured and given over to the Philistines, and
- 52:55that leads to the big battle where he kills 1000 Philistine
- 52:59soldiers with his bare hands and a donkey's donkey's jawbone,
- 53:03which is a feat of strength and stamina that is literally
- 53:06superhuman. No normal man, no matter how
- 53:09good of an athlete he is, no matter how tough or fast he is,
- 53:13a normal human could not pull that feet off, especially if
- 53:17it's just your bare hands and a bone jawbone of a donkey.
- 53:22And then of course we see his, even his weakness, which was his
- 53:25lust for women, especially foreign women that weren't part
- 53:28of, you know, the Jews. I mean, even that part of his
- 53:31story we see replicated in a lot of superhero comics these days.
- 53:38Oh yeah, there. A lot of the books of the Bible
- 53:41have been plagiarized by movie companies.
- 53:43They just put a modern day spin on it.
- 53:46Even the Evil Dead series, An Army of Darkness, some of the
- 53:50greatest movies out there, have been based upon something that
- 53:53is from the from Christianity, like what's the greatest horror
- 53:58flick that ever existed? Everybody would tell you it
- 54:00would be the original Exorcist movie, demonic possession.
- 54:05Everything that's ever been considered good in entertainment
- 54:09or in film has always been something.
- 54:11If you go back to the original, comes the spies.
- 54:15Bible's got spies in IT. People who went, you know, and
- 54:18did their thing, you want to talk about war movies,
- 54:21Religion's always going to be somehow involved in that kind of
- 54:24thing, ASMR says. That's for Marvel.
- 54:27He mentions The Incredible Hulk. I forgot all about that and I
- 54:31apologize. But in the in the 80s when they
- 54:34came up with Bill Bixby's Incredible Hulk and that, what's
- 54:40his name? Luther Norando or something.
- 54:43I know who you're talking. About yeah.
- 54:47I I watched. I I've been watching reruns of
- 54:50some of that lately on Prime Video and compare it to what
- 54:53they're doing with the Hulk. Now.
- 54:55The Hulk, even though it's got good special effects nowadays,
- 54:59it doesn't seem realistic at all.
- 55:02But whenever you watch the Incredible Hulk back then, the
- 55:04acting, the emotion and all that, you actually feel it and
- 55:08you get tense. Doesn't look super great, but
- 55:11damn it, the stories are awesome.
- 55:14Yeah, I've I've also liked. I guess I should add that to the
- 55:18Hulk is a Marvel character that I've also really liked, but he's
- 55:22also kind of in a typical Marvel character because he's really
- 55:26just a big green rage monster that goes around smashing
- 55:30things. And that's something I've also
- 55:32found attractive about that kind of character.
- 55:36There's actually a character in the anime Dragon Ball Z named
- 55:40Broly. He's basically like the Dragon
- 55:43Ball Z version of the Hulk. Of course, he's a lot more
- 55:46powerful than the Hulk is, but he's a very similar character in
- 55:50terms of concept, mainly that he's also powered by rage, and
- 55:53because his rage powers in his power basically has no limit.
- 55:58Well, the The Incredible Hulk, the old show kind of reminds me
- 56:02a lot of Batman's issue in the movies.
- 56:06When you watch a Batman movie, they mostly focus on the
- 56:09character Batman, but not the Bruce Wayne.
- 56:12They did all right with Christian Bale, but even with
- 56:15Michael Keaton, they showed like a couple scenes.
- 56:18What happened to him? Why he became Batman and he
- 56:20spent most of his time in the costume.
- 56:23But when you watch the Incredible Hulk, you actually,
- 56:27it's like watching 2 characters on the screen and it actually
- 56:30is. You're watching a man who has
- 56:32suffered, who's lost his wife, who had a terrible scientific
- 56:36experiment happened to him, and you can see it affect them
- 56:39throughout the show and wanting to change that, not be like that
- 56:43anymore. So there's depth and substance
- 56:46to that show. You get what I'm saying.
- 56:49Nowadays they just focus on the superpowers and what'll sell
- 56:52toys, not the actual motion that would be involved.
- 56:56Like the 2003 movie Hulk and then the 2008 movie The
- 57:01Incredible Hulk, and I would argue to an extent, even the
- 57:04first Avengers movie, The Hulk in those movies was also very
- 57:09interesting as a character, not just for bashing in the heads of
- 57:12villains, but especially in Hulk and the Incredible Hulk.
- 57:15They did a pretty good job exploring the back story and
- 57:19also the Bruce Banner side of the character, and they explored
- 57:23that about as much as they needed to to balance out all the
- 57:28Hulk stuff when he's, you know, in his green rage mode, smashing
- 57:31things and destroying armies like Samson.
- 57:35You know, another thing about Batman Two as well as The
- 57:38Incredible Hulk is besides being more realistic, the villains are
- 57:44actually very realistic as well. I mean, you could actually see
- 57:47someone losing their mind, becoming a sociopath and
- 57:50dressing up in clown makeup. Hell, we even had a guy like
- 57:53that a while back. Was his name Ted Bundy or some
- 57:56crap? But you can't get behind
- 57:59somebody Like what the hell is that guy's name that came from
- 58:03Krypton wanting to kill Superman?
- 58:05Oh. General Zod.
- 58:07Yeah, you couldn't see something like that, some kind of general
- 58:11from space coming down, wanting to kick the hell out of the
- 58:14little kryptonite kit or whatever that doesn't.
- 58:16I don't know, it just doesn't feel like that's something that
- 58:19could possibly happen. But a person getting screwed up
- 58:22in a scientific experiment and then becoming extremely strong
- 58:26based upon drugs that are radiation, you could, you could
- 58:30go along with that kind of, you know what I mean?
- 58:33The villains. The villains you notice whenever
- 58:36you're looking at the Incredible Hawk or or Batman, you remember
- 58:41the villains and you know their stories and you actually get
- 58:43invested in them just as much as you get into the hero.
- 58:47That doesn't happen with a lot of Marvel set.
- 58:49Especially if you watch the early 90s cartoon show Batman
- 58:54The Animated Series, that particular series did a
- 58:58masterful job, not just of developing the story of Batman
- 59:03in that universe, but also with developing the stories of all
- 59:06the villains. I showed that show to my
- 59:08girlfriend and she loves that show, but she primarily loves it
- 59:13just as much for the villains. Like she loves all of the
- 59:17villains that are in Batman's rogue gallery and all the
- 59:20stories behind them and how they came to be where they were.
- 59:24That particular show did a great job of doing that and that's why
- 59:28a lot of people are Batman fans to this day, is because they saw
- 59:32that show back then and they loved the villains as much as
- 59:34they love the hero. And that particular show also
- 59:38was really good and balanced. Like it was dark but not too
- 59:42dark that it couldn't appeal to children.
- 59:44And it was colorful but not too colorful and it had really well
- 59:48written stories that were well developed, lots of good
- 59:51character development. I mean, that show was basically
- 59:55perfect as far as a superhero content goes.
- 59:58I. Think the Spider Man movies had
- 1:00:00really, really good character development too.
- 1:00:03I mean, I I never really. I remember when I looked at some
- 1:00:05comic books of Peter Parker, I was like, yeah, whatever.
- 1:00:08They kind of jumped into the suit right away.
- 1:00:10He's flying to the city, shooting webs at people.
- 1:00:13But when you watch the actual movie, I don't know if you've
- 1:00:15seen the Tobey Maguire, the original Oh.
- 1:00:18I've seen all of his I. Love.
- 1:00:20Oh wow. It's it's sad, it's emotional.
- 1:00:23And it also says, look, while he's trying to be a hero, he's
- 1:00:27not doing good in school. When he's trying to be the hero,
- 1:00:30he can't. He can't function or or be able
- 1:00:33to have love in his life and stuff because of what might
- 1:00:36happen. That kind of stuff really,
- 1:00:39really made you care about both Spider Man and Peter Parker.
- 1:00:43Yep. And then the Andrew Garfield
- 1:00:45movies, which was The Amazing Spider Man and The Amazing
- 1:00:48Spider Man Two were also masterful, especially at
- 1:00:52portraying that part of his life.
- 1:00:54Basically, you know, he becomes Spider Man.
- 1:00:56He's fighting these villains, but he's also trying to
- 1:00:59counterbalance his life is Peter Parker and basically his
- 1:01:03personal relationships are deteriorating with people,
- 1:01:06especially when those people start becoming his villains.
- 1:01:10I mean, the the those movies, I don't know if you've seen them,
- 1:01:13but if you liked the Tobey Maguire ones, you'll definitely
- 1:01:16love those ones as well. Oh.
- 1:01:18I I've seen the Garfield ones and I thought that he was an
- 1:01:22exceptional spider man as well. I really like the villains in it
- 1:01:26as well. It's just.
- 1:01:28I don't know. For me, I I get committed.
- 1:01:31If I really like a character, I hate what they've done with
- 1:01:35Batman, where they went from Michael Keaton and then jump to
- 1:01:38another person, another person, another person you know, you get
- 1:01:41to like in that guy. You don't want to see him go.
- 1:01:44So that's what they did with Spider Man.
- 1:01:47Heavy Metal Heroes a couple years ago actually did a parody
- 1:01:51of an **NSYNC song I think where they were making fun of how
- 1:01:55Batman keeps getting rebooted. So they had like the
- 1:01:58announcement of a new Batman coming out like the new movie,
- 1:02:01and so they had all the previous Batman and all their different
- 1:02:04costumes. Living in Wayne Manor is some
- 1:02:06kind of Batman retirement home. And then they played the music
- 1:02:09video. Oh man, that's hilarious.
- 1:02:12Yeah, Garfield did good. But if you remember, because
- 1:02:16they rebooted Spider Man so quickly, Garfield didn't get a
- 1:02:20lot of love. His movie ended up becoming a
- 1:02:22classic later, but when it first came out people were hating on
- 1:02:26it. But to be honest with you,
- 1:02:27people tend to hate on They hated on Michael Keaton too.
- 1:02:30Before he did Batman. They didn't think that he would
- 1:02:33be up to par for that, but he did.
- 1:02:36Yeah, well, I I can explain why the first Andrew Garfield Spider
- 1:02:40Man movie wasn't as well received, because that movie
- 1:02:43came out in the same summer as Dark Knight Rises, the last
- 1:02:48Batman film put up by Christopher Nolan with Christian
- 1:02:51Bale in it. That movie was so good that The
- 1:02:56Amazing Spider Man felt like an inferior movie by comparison.
- 1:03:01But it's only over time you see Marvel going the way it has,
- 1:03:05especially with the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe.
- 1:03:09You look back on those Andrew Garfield movies, and you're
- 1:03:11like, wow, that movie was a lot better than we realized at the
- 1:03:15time. We just had unrealistic
- 1:03:17expectations of it because we were comparing it to a
- 1:03:20masterpiece like The Dark Knight or The Dark Knight Rises.
- 1:03:24Yeah, yeah, that's true. My, my big thing was I'm able to
- 1:03:28watch two separate movies. It's.
- 1:03:31I was like, why get rid of Tobey Maguire already?
- 1:03:34It's not like he's 100 years old or something.
- 1:03:36So and I. Think they changed directors and
- 1:03:39that's why. Because like Christian Bale has
- 1:03:42said publicly that the only way he'll ever return to the role
- 1:03:47with Batman in a movie, as if Christopher Nolan's the director
- 1:03:50of said movie. And the problem with that is,
- 1:03:52Christopher Nolan has said he never wants to do another Batman
- 1:03:55movie. So until Christopher Nolan does
- 1:03:58another Batman movie, we're never going to see Christian
- 1:04:00Bale as Batman again. Well, I seen an interview where
- 1:04:04they were asking that Christian Bale about it, and a Christian
- 1:04:08Bale, he said that he told the people, he said, look, we've
- 1:04:11made three of these now, that's enough.
- 1:04:14That's the end of it. So.
- 1:04:18But also, he did say what I said too before that probably because
- 1:04:22Christopher Dolan is a heck of a director.
- 1:04:24I mean, I haven't seen every movie he's put out since then,
- 1:04:27but basically whenever he puts out a movie, it is usually
- 1:04:31pretty darn epic and scale and there's a lot of realism with
- 1:04:36the way that they produce the films.
- 1:04:38Like, the amount of CGI that's in The Dark Knight movies is
- 1:04:42pretty minimal. And that's pretty remarkable
- 1:04:45when you think about it, because 2008 to or 2005 to 2012 when all
- 1:04:50his Batman movies came out, was when the superhero movie
- 1:04:53industry was moving heavily into CGI and all of that stuff.
- 1:04:58So the way that Christopher Nolan does movies is just
- 1:05:02something to behold. It's pretty much an art form at
- 1:05:04this point. You mind if I ask you a few
- 1:05:08questions about you? Because whenever you make your
- 1:05:10videos, you usually completely invest in the topics and all
- 1:05:15that. And I think some people might
- 1:05:16find it interesting. Like for instance, I'd like to
- 1:05:19ask you what even got you into social media in the 1st place?
- 1:05:23What was it that made you get into it and what was it that
- 1:05:27made you say, hey, this is kind of cool, I'm going to stick
- 1:05:30around? What was the spark?
- 1:05:33Oh, that's a good topic of discussion for sure.
- 1:05:38Well, let's see back in the well, I can't remember when
- 1:05:41YouTube first came out, so it was like the mid 2000s.
- 1:05:44So I vaguely remember being in high school, and I remember
- 1:05:50going to my cousin Travis's house and he would show me all
- 1:05:53these videos on a site called YouTube.
- 1:05:56And I thought, wow, this is a cool site.
- 1:05:57These videos are really entertaining, really funny,
- 1:06:01Definitely more interesting than whatever you're watching on TV
- 1:06:04for the most part. So yeah, I I found YouTube
- 1:06:08videos fascinating from the beginning, especially if they
- 1:06:11were about things I was interested in.
- 1:06:14And then in 2011 when I was a student at Linfield University,
- 1:06:20I decided to start a football blog where I was covering their
- 1:06:25football program at the time, which if you know college
- 1:06:29football, NCAA Division three, you know that Linfield is one of
- 1:06:33the premier college football programs in the United States of
- 1:06:37America. They haven't had a losing season
- 1:06:40since 1955 and during that span of one like 35 plus conference
- 1:06:46championships, they've been to the NCAA Division 3 playoffs
- 1:06:50numerous times. They've even won four national
- 1:06:53titles during that time span, three in the 80s and one in
- 1:06:562004. And even in the time when I was
- 1:06:59a Linfield students doing this blog, and even the years after,
- 1:07:02I got to witness a lot of great Linfield teams that made deep
- 1:07:06playoff runs in a very stacked and loaded Division Three.
- 1:07:10So I started writing blog posts about that, and then I started
- 1:07:14tampering with doing like audio recordings, putting them on
- 1:07:17SoundCloud. But then at one point I thought,
- 1:07:19you know, it'd be cool to do like videos where I'm giving my
- 1:07:22analysis of the games that I'm attending.
- 1:07:25So I started doing videos where I would go, like, in front of
- 1:07:31the stadium bleachers, or I'd go in front of the metal bleachers
- 1:07:36in one of the end zones where the students would sit and then
- 1:07:41hold on. I see you send me that.
- 1:07:43And then I'd film myself talking about the game I just witnessed,
- 1:07:46giving a brief overview of how it went, giving some statistics.
- 1:07:50And then at the time there was a website called NCAA or d3.com
- 1:07:56which is basically like the low rent version of ESPN but it
- 1:08:01covered all the Division Three sports including football.
- 1:08:06And at the time they were allowing people from various
- 1:08:08schools to submit their own videos where they were providing
- 1:08:12game analysis. And so I would submit all these
- 1:08:15videos I did not just on to YouTube, but I would send the
- 1:08:19links to or the original video files somehow to this website.
- 1:08:24And there were a lot of times where I made the front page of
- 1:08:27their website, like the evening or the day after the games were
- 1:08:31done, because they'd have like a carousel of all the different
- 1:08:35videos that people made analyzing, you know, the various
- 1:08:38teams of Division Three after the games were done.
- 1:08:41And because Linfield back then was a perennial top ten team, a
- 1:08:45lot of my videos ended up being on the front page collage of
- 1:08:48that website. And so that's kind of how I got
- 1:08:51into doing YouTube videos. And then a couple of years
- 1:08:56passed and I stopped doing the football blog.
- 1:08:58But then right as I stopped doing the football blog, I got
- 1:09:02interested in apologetics. And then I realized, well, you
- 1:09:05know, I was making videos about football.
- 1:09:09But now I have this huge invested interest in
- 1:09:11apologetics. I have these thoughts that I
- 1:09:13want to share with the world because I felt like I had some
- 1:09:16insight into the topics I was reading about that I wasn't
- 1:09:19hearing anywhere else. And so I thought, you know, I'll
- 1:09:22make a blog post about it on a regular basis.
- 1:09:26And I did that for a couple of years.
- 1:09:28And then I realized, you know, I should start doing videos like
- 1:09:31that. You know, I should make video
- 1:09:34forms of like these blog posts that I'm writing.
- 1:09:36And so I started doing the videos about apologetics topics
- 1:09:40primarily. And then over time I started
- 1:09:43writing less blog posts and just making videos more often until I
- 1:09:48got to the point in I think 20/16/2017 where basically I had
- 1:09:53abandoned writing articles and I was just making videos and I was
- 1:09:56putting out like 10 to 15 videos a month on average for like the
- 1:10:01next few years. And then of course I was a
- 1:10:04YouTube at that point. But then I found out about all
- 1:10:07these old tech sites that were coming to existence.
- 1:10:10So I joined as many of those as I could and some of them I still
- 1:10:15used to this day. Of course now I have my own
- 1:10:18YouTube alternative quarter, so I've joined that game too.
- 1:10:23But the reason why I even got into making videos in the 1st
- 1:10:27place is because I felt like I had a unique insight into
- 1:10:31apologetics topics that I wanted to share of the world.
- 1:10:34And so I shared with the world through video.
- 1:10:37And then over time, I got interested in news and politics
- 1:10:40and current events, and especially tech censorship and
- 1:10:43alt tech news. So I eventually just started
- 1:10:45making videos about all those topics.
- 1:10:47And that's basically how TTOR today has become a little bit of
- 1:10:51a variety channel where you sometimes you get an apologetics
- 1:10:54video, sometimes you get a current events response,
- 1:10:57sometimes you get an alt tech video, sometimes you get a tech
- 1:11:01censorship video, sometimes you get XY.
- 1:11:04And ZI just kind of developed those interests over time.
- 1:11:08But the original interest was apologetics.
- 1:11:12You got an interesting question for you, and I've been meaning
- 1:11:16to see what a lot of people think about this.
- 1:11:18But I noticed on Twitter, 'cause I do follow you, obviously you
- 1:11:23reposted a a graph where it shows that more and more people
- 1:11:28seemingly are finding their relationships online as opposed
- 1:11:32to going out and meeting people nowadays and doing that kind of
- 1:11:36thing. Do you think that computers and
- 1:11:38all that are driving people basically to be introverted or
- 1:11:42crazy? Give me one second and I will
- 1:11:45put that on the screen because I know exactly which post you're
- 1:11:50talking about and I just want to make sure people see what the
- 1:11:54great Brett Keene is talking about.
- 1:11:57All right, Shoe on head, it's this post by shoe, she wrote.
- 1:12:03The online one makes sense, but the through friends one and
- 1:12:06others almost dipping to zero. We are insanely atomized.
- 1:12:10How did you meet your significant other?
- 1:12:14So basically, this is a chart showing how couples met in the
- 1:12:19United States of America, and it starts in 1950, goes all the way
- 1:12:25through 2020, and you have different colored lines.
- 1:12:29One line represents through friends, one rhyme represents
- 1:12:32through family, one says work, another one says the bar, one
- 1:12:37says neighbors, one says college, one says grade school.
- 1:12:39And then the big red line is online.
- 1:12:43And what you see is that from 1950 to about the year 2000, but
- 1:12:49at least for some of these things from about 1950 through
- 1:12:521980 with things like grade school and work and the bars is
- 1:12:57where the meeting couples in those places hit their peak
- 1:13:01Around 2000 is when meeting people through friends hit their
- 1:13:04peak. But then over the last 20 years
- 1:13:06according to this chart, we've seen the way that people meet in
- 1:13:11all those other ways through friends, through work, etcetera
- 1:13:14has all been going down. But basically over the last 30
- 1:13:18years, and especially over the last 20 years, the way we meet
- 1:13:21people through online has been going up dramatically.
- 1:13:26And that's part of like the whole cell phone addiction
- 1:13:29people have. How, you know, we always have to
- 1:13:31have a device, you know, like this or a tablet or something in
- 1:13:36front of our faces at all times, constantly checking social media
- 1:13:40through apps, constantly on Internet browsers, reading stuff
- 1:13:43or looking at stuff. Basically, information has never
- 1:13:48been more readily available than it's ever been now on the
- 1:13:52Internet, especially social media sites to share that
- 1:13:56information around. And some people are just, and
- 1:13:59I'm, I'm guilty of this too. So I don't think I'm a
- 1:14:02hypocrite, not or I've been pretending not to be.
- 1:14:05But a lot of people now live basically on the Internet and
- 1:14:10their real world experiences are being harmed.
- 1:14:13I mean, there's people who are on the Internet so much that
- 1:14:17when they get off the Internet and start interacting with
- 1:14:20people in the flesh, they start experiencing, you know, anxiety,
- 1:14:24shyness. They have no idea how to
- 1:14:26converse with people or how to even adult as some people would
- 1:14:30say. And I've experienced that a
- 1:14:34little bit. Like I've always been a shy
- 1:14:36person, although I'm not as shy now as I was when I was younger.
- 1:14:40But ironically enough, it was actually engaging with people on
- 1:14:45the Internet that helped me become more confident and less
- 1:14:49shy when talking to other people when necessary.
- 1:14:51But for a lot of other people, it's been the opposite effect,
- 1:14:55like their time on the Internet, especially if they are younger
- 1:14:58and they've grown up on these devices.
- 1:15:01Their social skills are severely Hanford and they're not used to
- 1:15:04talking to people. And so meeting people in the
- 1:15:07real world just doesn't make sense, especially when you live
- 1:15:11in the Me Too era and basically some of the opposite sex can
- 1:15:14make any kind of ridiculous claim about you.
- 1:15:17And it's taking his gospel truth and basically your dating
- 1:15:20prospects are shot to 0 by lies. It makes dating and meeting
- 1:15:26people in the real world less appealing.
- 1:15:27And online's just easier for some people because they can
- 1:15:31talk more freely. And if they get rejected, it's
- 1:15:34like, well, no big deal. There's just, you know, the
- 1:15:37whole ocean of the Internet. Plenty of fish in the sea, as
- 1:15:40they say. And so, yeah, it's just been
- 1:15:43trending that way for a while because people have become more
- 1:15:46technology dependent, especially when it comes to information.
- 1:15:50I've been noticing, though, that anxiety as well as antisocial
- 1:15:54disorders have become more prevalent now though a lot of a
- 1:15:58lot of people this they cannot seem to function whenever
- 1:16:03they're around other people anymore, and they don't seem to
- 1:16:07know how to respond to folks whenever something emotional is
- 1:16:11coming on. And I think it's 'cause the
- 1:16:12Internet has desensitized a lot of people.
- 1:16:16You know, I I used to know this guy, He's still around
- 1:16:19sometimes, but he was a person who used to like hiking, taking
- 1:16:23walks, exercising, doing all this stuff and he eventually
- 1:16:28became a a fairly popular, like a atheist you tuber.
- 1:16:33Well, the problem was he was so into getting attention from his
- 1:16:38videos and doing what he was doing that the guy stopped going
- 1:16:41outside. He would literally go to sleep,
- 1:16:44eat his food, and then he would go to sleep, make another video
- 1:16:47that would take him a long time, 'cause he added a fax, green
- 1:16:51screen, all this stuff. And the guy, literally, I could
- 1:16:57mention his name and you may know who I'm talking about.
- 1:17:00I was buddies with this guy until he started getting into
- 1:17:03some really weird shit for attention.
- 1:17:05But Onisium, Yeah, yeah, he went from somebody who used to go
- 1:17:10out, do things. He was even in the military for
- 1:17:13a little bit. But then once he got in the
- 1:17:15videos, his narcissism just kept on getting fed.
- 1:17:18And literally that's all he ever did.
- 1:17:21The only time you'd see him recording our outside was when
- 1:17:25he wanted to record himself for a couple minutes and then he'd
- 1:17:28go back to doing his usual deal. That was his only reason for
- 1:17:33going outside was to record himself.
- 1:17:35You get it. Yeah, I get that entirely.
- 1:17:38And that's one of the unfortunate things about social
- 1:17:41media's emergence in the last couple decades is narcissists
- 1:17:45now have fertile ground for feeding their narcissism.
- 1:17:49And yeah, egos definitely get boosted.
- 1:17:53There's been a lot of studies in more recent years into social
- 1:17:57media and how when people get engagement on social media and
- 1:18:02when they get views and Subs to their channels and their videos,
- 1:18:07a lot of dopamine gets released in your brain that makes you
- 1:18:11feel good. Whenever you see someone sub to
- 1:18:13your channel, follow your account, like your post, like
- 1:18:16your video, etcetera. And some people, it's like a
- 1:18:20drug. They get addicted to it.
- 1:18:22And so they live for that social media cloud.
- 1:18:25They just live for getting views and getting Subs and followers.
- 1:18:29And that's literally what they live for.
- 1:18:31Like, it's how they function in the world.
- 1:18:33And, you know, they can't function like a normal person
- 1:18:36anymore because they're just chasing that cloud, because
- 1:18:38they've gotten addicted to seeing those analytics go up and
- 1:18:42up and up and up. Especially when you're talking
- 1:18:44about someone who's got like hundreds of thousands of
- 1:18:47followers or Subs and they just see the snowball getting bigger.
- 1:18:53There's a real temptation for those people to get extremely
- 1:18:56narcissistic and really chase all of that stuff, which isn't
- 1:19:02something that hasn't been a problem for me.
- 1:19:06But for some people, it really is a problem.
- 1:19:09They kind of lose themselves from their addiction to their
- 1:19:13dopamine hits, Basically. A lot of people even described
- 1:19:16it as a dopamine addiction. Well, some people might consider
- 1:19:21what happened to me is bad, but I'm actually glad things happen
- 1:19:24the way they did because I could have seen myself easily getting
- 1:19:28into a rat maze with this nonsense I got.
- 1:19:32I got popular and then I got slammed and and knocked out of
- 1:19:36that category. But it got me realizing that
- 1:19:40sometimes, because I didn't know this, I didn't understand.
- 1:19:43I remember when I used to look at celebrities and they would
- 1:19:46cry on TV about how shitty things are, how they can't go to
- 1:19:49the store without being bugged. I remember thinking, oh, you
- 1:19:53whiny son of a gun, you get millions of dollars and here you
- 1:19:56are freaking out on VH1 or MTV, right?
- 1:19:59But one of the things you do notice when you start climbing.
- 1:20:04People start having expectations of what kind of content they
- 1:20:08want you to make, and if you try to go anywhere else besides
- 1:20:12their little circle of what they want to see, suddenly they start
- 1:20:17drama with you #2. When you start getting these
- 1:20:21views and all that, a lot of people will start pretending to
- 1:20:24like you and care about you when they actually don't.
- 1:20:28That's one thing I learned right away.
- 1:20:30When you fall off the ladder, suddenly all those people that
- 1:20:34liked you and loved you, they don't give a damn anymore.
- 1:20:37Not unless that it's over. Just like that.
- 1:20:39And you learn a valuable lesson about human beings when that
- 1:20:42happens. So I'm glad it did, because if
- 1:20:45it would have went on further, I probably would have been like,
- 1:20:48wow, I would have been so puffed and caught up in my own ass and
- 1:20:52stuff on this. I wouldn't have been able to
- 1:20:53know the difference of who's real and who's not.
- 1:20:56It's a valuable lesson to learn. Yeah, I've never had the
- 1:21:01experience of having a bunch of Yes Men around me in regards to
- 1:21:04my videos, so that's probably helped a lot with my development
- 1:21:09over the years. But by the time I got into
- 1:21:13making videos in the 1st place, I was already in my mid 20s.
- 1:21:16So I don't think. I don't want to say maybe I'm.
- 1:21:23I could be wrong, but I feel like I'm not as vulnerable to
- 1:21:26that because of how late in the game I got.
- 1:21:28I was when I got on board with social media and making videos.
- 1:21:34I just feel like, yeah, it's just something I don't
- 1:21:36experience, but it could also just be the way I am as unique
- 1:21:41to me. I don't know.
- 1:21:43Well the thing that the major thing that got to me that really
- 1:21:47struck me was when I first came to YouTube, I'll be honest with
- 1:21:51you, I was literally a dickhead non believer.
- 1:21:54I was angry at the world. I was angry at loss and tragedy,
- 1:21:58losing stuff and I was going off.
- 1:22:01But as time went by and I began to heal from some of the
- 1:22:04personal problems in my life and I started to hang out with
- 1:22:07Christians and people of different faiths, and I got to
- 1:22:10be around this, like, how do I put it, this kindness and
- 1:22:14decency and all that, You start saying to yourself, well, these
- 1:22:18aren't my enemy. These folks didn't do anything
- 1:22:21wrong to me. And you start growing up, you
- 1:22:23start saying, look, you know what happened, happened.
- 1:22:26It has nothing to do with these people.
- 1:22:28And you start making friends. Well, when you're in an atheist
- 1:22:31circle, you're not allowed to be nice and be friends with
- 1:22:34Christians or you're, you're a bastard.
- 1:22:37There's something wrong with you.
- 1:22:38What you actually, you know, said this and said that kind of
- 1:22:42attitude, It's like you have to speak in a certain way and they
- 1:22:46have expectations for you or you're nothing anymore.
- 1:22:50So yeah. I get that completely Christians
- 1:22:55and creationists are treated the same way by those kind of
- 1:22:58atheist groups. That's why I made a video years
- 1:23:01ago calling it Creationist Derangement Syndrome, although
- 1:23:05Christian Derangement Syndrome basically works the same way.
- 1:23:09Basically, the Christian slash creationist is always wrong, no
- 1:23:14matter what they say, even if what they say is in complete
- 1:23:18agreement with you because of who they are, their identity,
- 1:23:22they're always wrong, no matter what comes out of their mouth,
- 1:23:25no matter what evidence is presented by that person.
- 1:23:30Even if they're just saying exactly what you say, they're
- 1:23:33always wrong. That's the kind of world view
- 1:23:36that these people have, which is why they treated you so
- 1:23:40horribly. I.
- 1:23:42Don't know if you ever had the opportunity to experience
- 1:23:45something like Stickam, but that was definitely something that
- 1:23:49really started moving me away from.
- 1:23:50You ever heard of Stickam Are? You talking about sticks, hex
- 1:23:54and hammer 666? No.
- 1:23:56No, no, no. It's it was.
- 1:23:57It used to be a website that you could go and there were several
- 1:24:01screens already up where you just click on a screen and then
- 1:24:04you pop up and you get to talk to people.
- 1:24:06It's really neat. Well, they had specifically
- 1:24:10religious rooms, atheist rooms and all that.
- 1:24:12And for whatever reason, whenever I'd go into an atheist
- 1:24:15room, people would be kissing my ass.
- 1:24:17There'd be all that whole, hey, it's breaking well, blah blah,
- 1:24:21blah. But then if a Christian came in,
- 1:24:23they would dump on them and hate on them.
- 1:24:25And I remember meeting Christian hillbilly for the first time in
- 1:24:28one of these things. You know who he is.
- 1:24:31No, I don't recall. Well he's a he's a heavyset
- 1:24:34Christian guy who's one of the kindest, nicest people in the
- 1:24:37world. And he would come in and he
- 1:24:39would, even though I was a non believer, he's would always say
- 1:24:42I feel God is in you. He goes, I don't know why, but
- 1:24:46I'm just, I just feel like you're going to become a
- 1:24:48warrior. One day used to say things to me
- 1:24:50like this and I'd be like, yeah, right, whatever dude and stuff.
- 1:24:54But he would go, Yee Haw, the Lord has made a beautiful day in
- 1:24:58all this. But people would call him names.
- 1:25:01They'd make fun of the way he looks.
- 1:25:03And then I would say to the other atheist, why do you do
- 1:25:05that to that guy? He ain't doing nothing wrong.
- 1:25:07He's not hating on anybody or hurting anybody.
- 1:25:11They go, well, do you know that he has this view and this view?
- 1:25:14And I said, So what? It's his views.
- 1:25:17He's not like some big giant cherubim character out there
- 1:25:21that's going to, like, destroy the world by pushing a button.
- 1:25:24He just has an opinion. So I started hanging out with
- 1:25:27religious folks and some of these non believers would follow
- 1:25:29me in and they would message me in private and say, hey Brad,
- 1:25:34why don't you go after that little old Christian lady right
- 1:25:36there. And I'd be like, why?
- 1:25:39Because you're an atheist. You're supposed to tear these
- 1:25:42people's stuff down. And I said, the woman just ask
- 1:25:46me how my damn day was. She's asking me if I'm doing OK,
- 1:25:51how's my family and all that? And you want me to just jump
- 1:25:54right into slaughtering her ass and all this?
- 1:25:58And I I said, no, not going to happen.
- 1:26:00And they go, what are you a bitch or you a pussy or
- 1:26:03something? And I'm like, I'm like, I'm
- 1:26:05Brett Keene and you are a nobody on YouTube and you're telling me
- 1:26:09how to react to somebody or treat somebody.
- 1:26:12So yeah, that's that's the kind of attitude I've seen.
- 1:26:16They're mean, dude. They're mean.
- 1:26:19So I guess some things haven't changed in 20 years.
- 1:26:22Just where they take place has changed.
- 1:26:26They want you. You basically just described
- 1:26:29YouTube's comment sections on atheist videos, yeah?
- 1:26:34There, it's it's cruelty. And that's one of the things
- 1:26:37that started to get to me. They don't realize that I didn't
- 1:26:41want to cause people aggravation.
- 1:26:43I wasn't looking to take people's hope or faith away from
- 1:26:46them. I wasn't evangelizing.
- 1:26:48I was just a guy who was having a hard time with a lot of
- 1:26:50questions, but they thought he's a mouthpiece.
- 1:26:54They they looked at me like another Aaron Raw or a Matt
- 1:26:57Dillahunty, basically type of deal.
- 1:27:00When I started being nice to people and saying I'd love to go
- 1:27:02out and have dinner with a religious person, they're like,
- 1:27:05what in the hell? You're not supposed to do that.
- 1:27:07They're the fucking enemy, you know?
- 1:27:09I mean, what do you do with people like that?
- 1:27:12It's like you're in a gang. Exactly.
- 1:27:15But when you first mentioned the part about the old lady, you
- 1:27:18just asked you how your day was and they're like, why don't you
- 1:27:21tear her apart? That just gave me a great idea
- 1:27:24for like a like a cartoon you could do one day or you're
- 1:27:28basically it's old atheist Brett Keene and there's just this
- 1:27:31little old lady in another little screen on your on your
- 1:27:34chat room going. So how was your day, Brett?
- 1:27:38Instead of like, you know, answering your question, you
- 1:27:40just look at her. The veins start to bulge on your
- 1:27:43forehead and then you just yell out in the most like metal tone
- 1:27:47of voice you can. There is no God.
- 1:27:50Rip off the Band-Aid, you old hag.
- 1:27:53You see? The it's, you know how you were
- 1:27:55saying earlier in the beginning of our conversation how some
- 1:27:59things just don't matter to you, They just kind of go off your
- 1:28:02back like a duck and all that. Well, that's that's basically
- 1:28:05how I was. I get in there, I'm talking to
- 1:28:08people and I just, I didn't see, oh it's the Christians.
- 1:28:12I seen another human being that I was talking to another person
- 1:28:16and I I just didn't get it. It's like they wanted to have
- 1:28:20those sides attack, attack, attack and just couldn't do it.
- 1:28:24So I didn't fit into that nonsense.
- 1:28:28Yeah, very interesting how, despite their claims to be
- 1:28:31against tribalism, they're very tribal.
- 1:28:36Oh, they'll call you names and mock you and all that.
- 1:28:39Oh, you're you're you're one of them Christian lovers.
- 1:28:42It almost sounded like a Southern racist person.
- 1:28:45Oh, you're a Christian lover, are you?
- 1:28:47What's wrong with you? So next thing you know, you're
- 1:28:50going to be believing in a sky daddy too.
- 1:28:53You know, it's it's hateful. I'm like why?
- 1:28:57And that's when they turn to the That's when they turn to the
- 1:28:59atheist next to them go, OK, here's the talking Unicorn.
- 1:29:03Your turn to talk. Yeah, that's.
- 1:29:06Literally how they did things and they would, they would
- 1:29:09actually get a hold of me through emails and Skype and say
- 1:29:13bro, why didn't you do this? Why didn't you do that?
- 1:29:15And I said, look, if you have this interest in like,
- 1:29:18aggravating the piss out of people, then why don't you do it
- 1:29:21yourself? Why are you asking me to do it?
- 1:29:24You don't even know who I am. You just know I'm a guy on the
- 1:29:26Internet. That's that.
- 1:29:28If that's your thing, you do it. What the hell are you asking me
- 1:29:31to do it for? You know, I thought that was
- 1:29:33weird. Yeah, apparently they they're
- 1:29:37just too cowardly to do it themselves, and they need
- 1:29:39somebody with clout to do it because when they do it, they're
- 1:29:43so cool. That guy with 40,000 Subs on
- 1:29:46YouTube, he really showed that old lady who the boss was.
- 1:29:50He really put her in her. Place yeah, yeah.
- 1:29:57Now now I know what I'm going to do for future video ideas.
- 1:30:04You. Probably.
- 1:30:05You probably noticed with that. That's one of the reasons I've
- 1:30:08warned you as a friend and all that.
- 1:30:10But if you start, if you do start getting bigger on YouTube
- 1:30:14or on these social media things, remember every time they call
- 1:30:18you out, they're going to want to have five against one, at
- 1:30:21least four or five of them. It's they'll never want to just
- 1:30:24do a one-on-one conversation with you because there might be
- 1:30:28a chance that they end up failing and looking stupid in
- 1:30:31front of everybody. The ego Is this a narcissism
- 1:30:35that just won't allow them and? They justify not coming on to
- 1:30:39your show and going one-on-one with you.
- 1:30:41They'll claim that you're going to rig the shell against them in
- 1:30:44advance. I remember that one.
- 1:30:46I remember that one atheist guy last year.
- 1:30:49I forget what his, I forget what his Twitter ex name is.
- 1:30:53But basically he was talking about how I knew nothing about
- 1:30:57abiogenesis and evolution. And I was like, well, OK then
- 1:31:01why don't you come on to the GOD TV Radio podcast and I'll give
- 1:31:05you equal time as me, and you can explain to me how and why I
- 1:31:11don't know abiogenesis and evolution as well as I think I
- 1:31:15do. And of course, his response was
- 1:31:17to give every excuse in the book why he couldn't do it.
- 1:31:23Well that is that's another annoying thing I see a lot too
- 1:31:26from non believers and I thought after a couple years they would
- 1:31:30get some sense in them about this.
- 1:31:32You do realize it's theists who actually came up with the
- 1:31:35concept of science. So when you get these little
- 1:31:38handfuls of atheists who are saying, oh, you know, because
- 1:31:41you believe in God, you're somehow opposing science?
- 1:31:45No, A majority of Christians usually accept everything
- 1:31:48science is saying, except for when it comes to things like
- 1:31:52origin, our existence, and consciousness.
- 1:31:55There's a discussion there. Now, a real scientist would want
- 1:31:58that. A real scientist would want you
- 1:32:01to question and become educated and talk about these things, not
- 1:32:05just go on your way after watching it on TV for a moment.
- 1:32:09See what I mean? Yeah.
- 1:32:10And and like Doctor, Sir Thomas Kendall talked about in the past
- 1:32:14on that one stream I did, I think it was last week.
- 1:32:17He talked about how basically these kind of people are trying
- 1:32:22to control not just the definition of words, but they're
- 1:32:25trying to control where and when and how you look for truth on
- 1:32:30things. It's like, oh, you can look for
- 1:32:32the truth only over here in this highly regulated way.
- 1:32:36You're not allowed to go over there to explore truth.
- 1:32:39No, no, no, you can't. You have to be in these
- 1:32:41constrained boundaries over here.
- 1:32:43You you can't go other places to look for truth.
- 1:32:48Yeah, I don't. I don't even see a point anymore
- 1:32:51and dealing with the bigger non believers and skeptics anymore
- 1:32:54because if you'll notice they'll say it's got to be on my turf.
- 1:32:59You got to do things my way and it's only logical if you speak
- 1:33:03about the topics that I have confirmed it's OK to be talking
- 1:33:07about. Like if you notice Matt
- 1:33:09Delahunty, he won't ever go into a debate where it's debating his
- 1:33:13position and his nihilism and his naturalism.
- 1:33:17He walked out recently because he told this Christian how it's
- 1:33:20going to be in the Christian turn around, said no that's not
- 1:33:23how it's going to be. I'm going to debate the way I
- 1:33:25want to and if you don't like it, And he literally called the
- 1:33:29guy some names and got up and walked out of the bait.
- 1:33:31Did you see the video? I saw your video about it, but I
- 1:33:35never saw the actual video itself.
- 1:33:37But I might have to at this point, yeah.
- 1:33:40Jordan Peterson unfortunately made that mistake with Matt
- 1:33:44Dillahunty. Instead of being offensive, he
- 1:33:48decided that he would be the guy that gets questioned and put on
- 1:33:52trial the whole time. If Christians want to win in the
- 1:33:55discussion or debate with someone, they have to be willing
- 1:33:58to offensively go after that person's position as well, not
- 1:34:02just be there to constantly defend the Bible and all this.
- 1:34:06You got to say things like, where's your moral framework?
- 1:34:09Where is you know, Where do you even think rationality and logic
- 1:34:13come from? All those things I mentioned
- 1:34:14earlier. If you don't, the atheist has an
- 1:34:17entire list and plenty of evil. I hate the bible.com websites
- 1:34:22they can go to and this attack you throughout the three hours
- 1:34:25and then that'll be it, you know?
- 1:34:28Yeah. I understand that completely.
- 1:34:30It reminds me of my strategy that I use when I have back and
- 1:34:34forth with atheists and evolutionists and non believers
- 1:34:37in general. Basically the idea is like what
- 1:34:41you said, you know, you go on the offensive.
- 1:34:43Basically you get them to defend their position on one specific
- 1:34:48topic. And then what I like to do is
- 1:34:51not only to get them to stay on one topic and have to, you know,
- 1:34:55defend themselves and their view on that topic.
- 1:34:58I like to get them to keep talking because their natural
- 1:35:01response will be to say something quick and then try to
- 1:35:04change topics on you to try and get under your skin or get you
- 1:35:08off balance. But if you keep them on that one
- 1:35:10topic and you keep them talking about it long enough, eventually
- 1:35:15they destroy themselves every time.
- 1:35:18And so that's what I try to do whenever I have the discussions
- 1:35:20with them, that's. A good way to handle it.
- 1:35:23Christians need to learn, though, whenever they're in a
- 1:35:25debate or discussion, right before the debate even begins.
- 1:35:29That needs to be said. Look, I am more than happy to
- 1:35:33educate you on my theology and whatever questions you have.
- 1:35:38But you're going to ask me one question and then I follow up
- 1:35:41with a question after I respond to you.
- 1:35:44And that's how we're going to do things.
- 1:35:46And you lay it out like an alpha male does it, You know what I
- 1:35:49mean? And then boom.
- 1:35:50And you'll notice suddenly they'll be like, oh, wait a
- 1:35:53minute, I don't get to play my game.
- 1:35:55I have to actually give back. In this conversation, you'll
- 1:35:58start noticing the intensity go up.
- 1:36:01Usually the atheist lasts about 15 minutes or under and you'll
- 1:36:05start hearing name calling or or some kind of bad hums.
- 1:36:09But you win. Yeah, and it's expected to that
- 1:36:13kind of behavior from them because they're not free
- 1:36:17independent thinkers like they claim they are.
- 1:36:21Hold on Dark Moon said. And TTR just gave the reason.
- 1:36:26I will never any sort of enter any sort of debate.
- 1:36:28I'd rather just do videos on my opinion opinions and the others
- 1:36:32do theirs. That Dark Moon is actually my
- 1:36:35preferred go to as well. I generally don't want to have,
- 1:36:39like debates with people, although there have been some
- 1:36:43people like Jeff Doherty and Kenny Rhodes in the past that
- 1:36:49desperately tried to get me to do a debate with them.
- 1:36:55And you know what's sad is we, we actually did allow these
- 1:36:58people to come into the room while we were in there and said,
- 1:37:02all right, we'll have the conversation.
- 1:37:03But remember I laid it down like an alpha male for him.
- 1:37:06I said, look, you can ask your questions, but we're going to
- 1:37:10follow up with a question right afterwards and all that and
- 1:37:13remember how he acted. He started going into like a
- 1:37:16child like mode just starting to lose his his crap live on the
- 1:37:21show and. Started talking about being a
- 1:37:24manly man of testosterone while having, like, the squeakiest,
- 1:37:27most weasely voice on the earth. Or like when he Or like when
- 1:37:32Kenny Rhodes told you that he was going to learn you.
- 1:37:35I remember that one the. Dark Moon it's it is easier said
- 1:37:42than done. I know we're all sitting here
- 1:37:44saying, well I'd rather do videos and all that, but like if
- 1:37:48TTOR were to like be hitting on the trend tomorrow and then
- 1:37:52suddenly find himself with 100,000 Subs.
- 1:37:55If you get another big YouTube, who says something like, you
- 1:37:58know, if you really believe in what you believe, you know
- 1:38:01you'll be willing to debate me and all that, and they put that
- 1:38:03over on you. You got to understand what that
- 1:38:06makes people feel like whenever they see a bunch of like an army
- 1:38:10worth of people insulting you and attacking you makes you
- 1:38:13think, Should I? What should I do on this?
- 1:38:16How should I handle it? But the problem is, a lot of
- 1:38:19these folks have already made-up their mind.
- 1:38:21Even if you got into the discussion and you made all
- 1:38:24great points and you just spanked them all over the room,
- 1:38:28somehow, in their delusional mind they won no matter what
- 1:38:32and. That's what Doctor Thomas
- 1:38:34Kendall talked about in that presentation on the TTOR show we
- 1:38:37watched last week is. He talked about how basically
- 1:38:40atheists and evolutionists will define words and phrases in a
- 1:38:45self-serving way. So that no matter what you say,
- 1:38:49no matter what evidence you present, no matter if you win
- 1:38:52the argument by every valid metric, they're the winners by
- 1:38:56definition because of the way they've defined things.
- 1:38:58And so, like Doctor Thomas Kindle said, it's important to
- 1:39:02control the definitions and the words and basically the rules of
- 1:39:08engagement for when you're dealing with non believers.
- 1:39:10Because if you don't, they'll do things in a self-serving way to
- 1:39:14make you look bad, even if you're the real winner.
- 1:39:17And you have the people have to realize too that you may run
- 1:39:22into some non believers where they appear to be nice or
- 1:39:25pretending to be respectful, but they will lie and they will
- 1:39:30cheat and hit below the belt whatever it takes in order to be
- 1:39:33able to outwin in the discussion.
- 1:39:35So it's important not to let them drag you into something.
- 1:39:38One of their favorites says. Oh you you believed us out of
- 1:39:42fear or emotion and all that. That same thing we read about on
- 1:39:45Twitter. Yep.
- 1:39:48Although that did remind me of that guy a couple weeks ago who
- 1:39:51was on who came on to this show and was claiming to be a
- 1:39:55Catholic. And then after like 2 minutes of
- 1:39:58talking, he just started yelling.
- 1:40:00Brett Keynes the N word, Bret Keynes the N word, Bret Keynes
- 1:40:04the N word. He's like, my goodness.
- 1:40:11See how easily they fall apart if you lay it out for him.
- 1:40:15They just they can't control themselves.
- 1:40:16That rationality and logic that they boast spuggles right out
- 1:40:20the window. And he.
- 1:40:21Was pretending to be so nice I almost first, second they
- 1:40:28thought you were going to have a real conversation.
- 1:40:30Oh, the tragedy. Exactly all.
- 1:40:36Right, Darkman. Basically it's just a test of
- 1:40:40who's got more moxie. I fought those battles before
- 1:40:43and I found the bigger man walks away from the screaming guy in
- 1:40:46the parking lot. Yeah, pretty much.
- 1:40:49I mean, like what Brett Keene was saying in the hypothetical
- 1:40:52scenario where somehow I get popular and I have like 100,000
- 1:40:56Subs or more, and then other big creators are like challenging me
- 1:40:59to do stuff. I think I'm pretty, I'm not
- 1:41:05immune 100% to peer pressure, but I don't think I would cave
- 1:41:10into demands like that from a popular creator.
- 1:41:13If they were behaving anything remotely like what Kenny Rhodes
- 1:41:17and Jeffrey Dodry were behaving like towards me, I I'd like to
- 1:41:21think in that scenario that I would still be like, Nope.
- 1:41:28Yeah, plus. To hear the rein on their side
- 1:41:31in that scenario would be epic. He won't debate me Why?
- 1:41:40Or as that, or as that meme goes, debate me, bro.
- 1:41:46Yeah, I had a lot of people in the past called me out and then
- 1:41:49I'd say sure, but it's going to be one-on-one and we'll do it on
- 1:41:52my show and that's how we'll do it.
- 1:41:54And they go, Oh no, no, no, no, no, because they want to have
- 1:41:57four or five people every time. Yep.
- 1:42:02Or they're just too big a coward to confront you, even with
- 1:42:04friends. Because that's another thing.
- 1:42:09Although I still remember before I met you, Brett, back in 2018
- 1:42:13when I first encountered Kenny Rhodes and I made a video about
- 1:42:17Hugh Ross that he didn't like. So he not only left a comment on
- 1:42:21that video challenging me to a debate, but he did that on my
- 1:42:25next 10 videos. And it was just like, debate me
- 1:42:27bro, debate me, bro. So eventually I left a comment
- 1:42:31back to him. Like, dude, you're supposed to
- 1:42:33be this big time scholar for reasons to believe.
- 1:42:37Who did these debates in the past against people whose names
- 1:42:40I recognize. I thought you were a big shot.
- 1:42:43Why are you scraping the bottom of YouTube to debate a content
- 1:42:47creator who has, like, less than 400 Subs?
- 1:42:49Why? Why are you doing that?
- 1:42:52And then he never really gave me a good answer to that, and I
- 1:42:55didn't hear from him again for several years.
- 1:42:58But but yeah, those guys are just weird.
- 1:43:03That was one of the reasons why. That's another reason why I
- 1:43:07started really, really digging and respecting a lot of
- 1:43:09Christians out there. Because whenever I would say,
- 1:43:12oh, if somebody wants to come on the show, Christians weren't
- 1:43:16afraid ever to come in and actually have a discussion or
- 1:43:19debate on something, not with me.
- 1:43:21They knew I wasn't going to play fastball with them or anything
- 1:43:24like that. They already knew the kind of
- 1:43:26things that were on my mind and that what I was bothered about.
- 1:43:29So I always, I always respected that.
- 1:43:32But people who like, run. And they, you know, like what we
- 1:43:36were talking about the atheist doing, it's just like, wow, you
- 1:43:39claim to be so damn smart now that you were putting you on a
- 1:43:42scale you run. Right.
- 1:43:47Oh, no. You mean it really counts now?
- 1:43:49Crap. Darn it.
- 1:43:53What do you mean I don't have 10 friends with me?
- 1:43:58Error. Error.
- 1:43:59Error. No.
- 1:44:01So what else has been on your mind?
- 1:44:03What's going to be happening for Christmas for you?
- 1:44:07Well, for my church, a lot of things are going to be happening
- 1:44:11this coming Sunday. They're doing candlelight
- 1:44:14services during the two normal services we have.
- 1:44:18And then after the services, they're giving away 300 food
- 1:44:21boxes to different families in our community, basically, so
- 1:44:25that people have food and a nice Christmas meal.
- 1:44:28And then the night of that Sunday they're doing a Christmas
- 1:44:34play with the kids ministry. And then the next Sunday they
- 1:44:39have another regular day of services.
- 1:44:43But then they have a six PM candlelight service.
- 1:44:45It's an hour long. And then some point between
- 1:44:49those two days they have other events going on like a holiday
- 1:44:53hayride where basically they hook up a really big like hay
- 1:44:57Bale trailer to a truck and this trailer has like a cover over it
- 1:45:01in case it rains. And basically they're going to
- 1:45:03ride around town on this trailer and they're going to sing
- 1:45:06Christmas carols and drink hot chocolate and basically just
- 1:45:09have a good old time cruising the town.
- 1:45:13So yeah, my church has a lot of things going on and I'm going to
- 1:45:17be involved with quite a bit of it, at least on Sunday.
- 1:45:21And then Christmas Day I'm hoping to have off so that I can
- 1:45:26have family time. And then hopefully I'm going to
- 1:45:30find the time to watch some Christmas movies, especially the
- 1:45:33ones that I just recently put on quarter as part of my little
- 1:45:38holiday treat to the quarter community.
- 1:45:42Basically, I just found like my favorite holiday films like
- 1:45:45Rudolph the Red Rose, Red Nose Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman,
- 1:45:49Santa Claus is Coming to town, the cartoon Grinch movie from
- 1:45:53the 60s, etcetera. And basically I just put them
- 1:45:56all in one channel, slapped them on the front page of the site in
- 1:46:00the promotion section, and now I'll be there all the way up
- 1:46:03until midnight December 26th. So that way people on quarter
- 1:46:08who don't have Christmas movies to watch for some reason have a
- 1:46:14few to watch. I'm going to enjoy some of
- 1:46:17those, especially on Christmas Day.
- 1:46:20Well, there you go. Is there anything you've been
- 1:46:22wanting? Well.
- 1:46:24There are several movies that are on my Christmas list, mostly
- 1:46:28action films that came out like The Equalizer Three or
- 1:46:33Expendables 4, stuff like that, and also like other various
- 1:46:39items that I want. But I don't really get video
- 1:46:44games from my Christmas list anymore because nowadays,
- 1:46:47because of my own money from my own job, I basically just buy
- 1:46:51video games as they come out. So yeah, that's a thing.
- 1:46:56What about Brett Keene? What's Brett Keene looking
- 1:46:58forward to for the holidays and for Christmas?
- 1:47:01Well. Honestly, this Christmas is
- 1:47:03going to be pretty rough my all because of the COVID crap that
- 1:47:08was going on for a while. My son got bounced around in his
- 1:47:11jobs and he got backed up on bills.
- 1:47:14He just recently got a a new job.
- 1:47:17I'm not going to go too informative into it where he's
- 1:47:20getting paid quite a bit, but it's going to be a month before
- 1:47:23he can do things. But he's couple months behind.
- 1:47:26So my wife and I as well as my daughter, we've had to lend him
- 1:47:31some money and everything so things have been pretty tight.
- 1:47:36So I don't know if there's going to be a big old Christmas thing.
- 1:47:38There's we got the tree and a couple old lights up and all
- 1:47:41that, but I don't. I don't see there being a whole
- 1:47:44lot of stuff. Do you have any normal
- 1:47:48traditions in your family or any kind of Christmas traditions
- 1:47:53that you normally do in the past?
- 1:47:56Well, to be honest with you, Christmas used to be a big thing
- 1:48:00in my family. I, the whole family, used to get
- 1:48:03together and do things whenever I was a kid.
- 1:48:05But then when I hit 13, my mother and father got a divorce
- 1:48:09and then my grandmother in the same year died from cancer.
- 1:48:13So I kind of got the hell away from Christmas.
- 1:48:15I was like, I don't want anything to do with this.
- 1:48:18I was around the time I started working my way into the stupid
- 1:48:21group that we were talking about earlier.
- 1:48:24Well, when I when I brought kids in the world, I remembered how
- 1:48:28happy it made me to do the whole Christmas thing with my
- 1:48:31grandmother and my family and all that.
- 1:48:33So we do the tree, we do the lights.
- 1:48:36And even whenever I was still working my way out of atheism, I
- 1:48:41never, I wasn't one of these people were like, oh, you got to
- 1:48:44change. Merry Christmas to Happy
- 1:48:46Holidays or you know, God on money pisses me off and every
- 1:48:51little thing that has Jesus on it get mad about it.
- 1:48:54I didn't care. I did for a while there.
- 1:48:57I believe that some of the traditions in Christmas were
- 1:49:02adopted or inherited from other religions like Paganism.
- 1:49:06But I still seen it as it's a beautiful time of the year where
- 1:49:10families can get together and whether it's Christmas or next
- 1:49:14month or the month after, every day should be dedicated to God.
- 1:49:19So and I I don't know why people can't understand that or
- 1:49:23comprehend it. It's like, oh, if there's any
- 1:49:25kind of similarity, then it's no good anymore.
- 1:49:28Nah, that makes my kids happy and that's all that matters.
- 1:49:33Yeah, my holiday traditions tend to be, well, it's changed over
- 1:49:40time. But like, traditionally in the
- 1:49:42past, what we used to do when I was, especially when I was in
- 1:49:46school, growing up and in college, etcetera, Christmas Eve
- 1:49:50would be the day where my dad's side of the family would meet
- 1:49:53up, usually at my Aunt Tammy's or at my grandma's house on my
- 1:49:57dad's side. And basically we'd all get
- 1:49:59together, we'd play video games together, maybe watch a movie or
- 1:50:03two. We'd have like a really huge,
- 1:50:06delicious dinner, and then we'd open up presents and we'd enjoy
- 1:50:11those two presents, depending upon what they were sometimes.
- 1:50:15And then, you know, we'd go home and we'd engage in our own
- 1:50:19Christmas tradition of watching the rest before we go to bed.
- 1:50:24And then after we'd go to bed, we'd wake up on Christmas
- 1:50:28morning, we'd open our own presents under our own tree,
- 1:50:31open our stockings, etcetera. Then we'd have like a special
- 1:50:34breakfast with like cinnamon rolls and like eggs and bacon
- 1:50:39with like sparkling cider instead of juice or milk.
- 1:50:43And then later in the day we would meet up with my mom's side
- 1:50:46of the family, either at my other grandma's house or at our
- 1:50:50own house some years. And we'd have a whole nother
- 1:50:53round of dinner and opening up presents and enjoying those
- 1:50:58presents. And then like the rest of
- 1:51:00Christmas Day, would be enjoying all the the presents I got.
- 1:51:05And in more recent years, as we've gotten older and got jobs,
- 1:51:09etcetera, we basically just try to have a family get together on
- 1:51:13a weekend as close to Christmas as we can and when everyone's
- 1:51:18available. So like this year actually on
- 1:51:21Saturday is when my family get together on my dad's side is
- 1:51:25it'll be on Saturday the 16th because Sundays isn't very good
- 1:51:30for us, even though Christmas Eve is technically a Sunday.
- 1:51:33This year I'm just going to be too busy with church and family
- 1:51:37stuff to be able to do the normal thing.
- 1:51:40So yeah, this year we're doing it on Saturday.
- 1:51:45And I don't know what I'm doing on my mom's side of the family
- 1:51:48yet, but I'm sure we'll do something.
- 1:51:50Christmas has always been a little weird for me on behalf of
- 1:51:54the fact that I was born in December.
- 1:51:57I'm a Christmas baby, so that always annoyed me.
- 1:52:01If I did get anything, it was like, oh, what is this for?
- 1:52:04Is it for my Christmas or is it for my birthday?
- 1:52:07What is it? But as as an adult, I don't
- 1:52:10really concentrate on anything that I'm really wanting anyway.
- 1:52:13Just try to do, you know, something for the kids and all
- 1:52:16that. And my kids get mad at me
- 1:52:18because they're like, dad, what do you want?
- 1:52:20I said, well, I could use some new socks or underwear or
- 1:52:22something. You know, I am old.
- 1:52:24I need some something to keep myself strapped in.
- 1:52:27And I'm like, no, no, there's got to be something else.
- 1:52:29And really, I'm a simple person. I've been asked what would you
- 1:52:33do if you won a billion dollars? Probably buy a better computer
- 1:52:37and go about doing the same thing I always do.
- 1:52:39There's nothing I really, you know, fantasize like some people
- 1:52:43do, you know, and probably donate the 80% of it to charity
- 1:52:47or something, right? That's basically what I would do
- 1:52:52too if I came across big money like that is, I would pay off
- 1:52:56whatever is left of my student loans.
- 1:52:58I'd calculate how much money I need to make my video site like
- 1:53:02the most banging thing you've ever seen, along with enough
- 1:53:05money to like have a good marketing campaign and then
- 1:53:08whatever's left, which would be the majority of it, I'd probably
- 1:53:11just give away to church. I think that I might make some
- 1:53:16of the people out there nervous or intimidate them in some kind
- 1:53:19of way, Darkman says. Maybe I'll just hit up TTOR
- 1:53:22Show. This is TTOR show.
- 1:53:25I'm just simply hosting his stream through the thing.
- 1:53:27So are you nervous? Are you afraid I'm going to yell
- 1:53:31at you or something? Dark Moon said he'll try to join
- 1:53:36us in April when he finally gets his better recording set up that
- 1:53:40can actually last, you know, for more than 10 seconds.
- 1:53:46You know what you should do, Dark Moon, just so you can get a
- 1:53:49feel for it. You could just come in the room
- 1:53:52and sit there and look at the screen so you can see what it's
- 1:53:55like actually being in the room before ever wanting to speak or
- 1:53:59talk and you'll see. If you came in right now, you'd
- 1:54:02see that there's just a screen with us are not like what you're
- 1:54:05watching out there. And just imagine it when you
- 1:54:09push the button and you're ready.
- 1:54:10You can talk anytime. It's like that.
- 1:54:14Yep, it's pretty much just like that.
- 1:54:20ASMR Mark, I already I did read what you wrote.
- 1:54:24You said that I get kind of rough on some people because of
- 1:54:27their microphones. That's true.
- 1:54:29I've got a a pretty messed up eardrum and stuff from an
- 1:54:33accident I had whenever I was younger.
- 1:54:36And if I hear high frequency noises, it's one of the reasons
- 1:54:39I don't do a lot of music nowadays myself, because that
- 1:54:42hits that eardrum and man, it feels like I'm being banged by a
- 1:54:45hammer. So somebody comes in, their
- 1:54:48microphone's going, you know, it's like, oh, makes me angry.
- 1:54:54Yes, very much so. I would be annoyed by that too.
- 1:54:58Dark Moon says. I thought GOD TV Radio was your
- 1:55:01show. TTOR.
- 1:55:02Has one called the TTOR if I recall, yes, GOD TV Radio is
- 1:55:08originally Brett Keene's creation, but he allowed me to
- 1:55:11Co host it and then eventually at one point he decided to just
- 1:55:16let me. You told me I could just have it
- 1:55:19because you were hearing more towards doing the Brett Keene
- 1:55:23Show, but I'm fine with sharing Brett the GOD TV radio thing.
- 1:55:28It's just that Brett gave me permission to use it and to do
- 1:55:31it as a podcast and I thought, you know, that'd be a good thing
- 1:55:34to do once in a while. You know have one podcast called
- 1:55:37the GOD TV Radio Show or GOD TV Radio where you basically just
- 1:55:43engage with non believers and secular people and basically try
- 1:55:47to have a a bridge, get a bridge, a gap filling
- 1:55:52conversation basically exchanging world views.
- 1:55:55But then the TTOR show which would be more of a variety show
- 1:55:58like my videos normally are. So GOD TV radio is something I
- 1:56:03Co host with Brett. Technically speaking, the TTOR
- 1:56:08show is my podcast exclusively. Sounds good there, Darkman.
- 1:56:16If if you and Mark are nervous or at all about me reacting some
- 1:56:21way I could out of convenience and comfort, if you guys come
- 1:56:25in, I can go in the other room, make me some hot cocoa while you
- 1:56:29do the technical stuff with the TTOR and all that.
- 1:56:32And then whenever I hear that things are going well from the
- 1:56:35other room because it's the high pitch is buffered out if I'm in
- 1:56:38the other room, you know what I mean?
- 1:56:40So I'll know when everybody's voice is working.
- 1:56:43No reason to be intimidated, me and TTOR.
- 1:56:46We enjoy talking to people. Unless somebody starts cussing
- 1:56:49us out or calling us names or whatever.
- 1:56:52We're usually pretty chill, just like we are now.
- 1:56:55Talk about any old thing, right? Yep, that's how I roll.
- 1:57:01Oh. I there has been times in the
- 1:57:03past they probably noticed I do mess with some people in
- 1:57:07comments to try to get them to come into the room like I go, oh
- 1:57:11don't be a tricker and come on, come on baby.
- 1:57:15That atheist who refused to come on to the GOD TV Radio podcast
- 1:57:19we're doing to correct me on abiogenesis?
- 1:57:23I totally played into his worldview.
- 1:57:25I'm like, well, I'm just a just a stupid creationist, you know?
- 1:57:29You should be able to wipe the floor of me and then you can
- 1:57:31turn around and use that video to show people, hey, look at
- 1:57:34this Christian apologist I just wiped out on his own podcast.
- 1:57:40He didn't bite on that. I tried so hard too to sell it
- 1:57:47to him. Like, dude, if if you really
- 1:57:49think I'm this stupid, just come on to my show, destroy me and
- 1:57:54then brag about it afterwards with video evidence.
- 1:57:58But no that that that was not an enticing offer.
- 1:58:01Apparently not enticing enough anyway.
- 1:58:06I hear you there. It probably goes back to what
- 1:58:09you were talking about earlier, how basically they have to have
- 1:58:11control and they have to have at least four or five of their
- 1:58:13buddies with them to gang up on you before they'll ever
- 1:58:16entertain being in the same studio as you.
- 1:58:20Why? I think one of the reasons why
- 1:58:22you scare them off TTR is exactly the way you said you
- 1:58:26responded. It shows that you're pretty
- 1:58:28confident with yourself and that there's not really any way to
- 1:58:31embarrass you. You, you already know where
- 1:58:34you're at and it doesn't bother you.
- 1:58:36It's not like you're marking points on the wall behind you or
- 1:58:38anything like that. So they're probably going, man,
- 1:58:41this guy might know something I don't, you know that I'm not
- 1:58:45ready for a type of attitude. So they get nervous.
- 1:58:51Yeah, yeah. It just sucks that the people
- 1:58:54who have challenged me to debates are people who are such
- 1:58:58horrible scumbags that there's no way in heck I'm ever going to
- 1:59:02do a debate with them just because they're horrible people.
- 1:59:09Especially that Jeffrey Doherty guy.
- 1:59:11Oh man, He was such a raging douche when I made that hour and
- 1:59:15a half long video a couple years ago, responding to him on his
- 1:59:19points about the Apostle Paul and the New Testament and James
- 1:59:24and Jesus and all the other stuff that he was feeling back
- 1:59:27then. I mean, I triggered him so bad,
- 1:59:30but not only did he do the whole debate me bro thing, but he
- 1:59:34didn't talk to me for two years. And then on Easter this year he
- 1:59:38left comments on my Bit Shoot channel out of the blue, calling
- 1:59:43me out again, challenging me to a debate.
- 1:59:45It's like, dude, I haven't thought about you in two years,
- 1:59:49but apparently I'm inside your head so badly that you still
- 1:59:53can't forget about me. And you even decided to contact
- 1:59:56me on Easter? That's rough that.
- 2:00:03Was so funny when he did that. I was like, really?
- 2:00:05You still exist. Oh, I've been meaning to ask
- 2:00:13you, have you been looking into any AI stuff anymore or is that
- 2:00:17something you kind of just that well?
- 2:00:21I mean, I use ChatGPT at work and with my own content.
- 2:00:26There is a new AI tool that just became available on a video that
- 2:00:31is going to be used on quarter. But I need to look into it more
- 2:00:36and see how it works before I start, you know, bragging about,
- 2:00:39hey, we got this new feature and you should all use it.
- 2:00:42Basically it's some kind of AI tool that based on the title of
- 2:00:47your quarter video, will give you suggestions for tags to put
- 2:00:50on your video and give you suggestions for descriptions to
- 2:00:55put either in the description box or in the search engine
- 2:01:00friendly box that's also on the back end of quarter videos.
- 2:01:04So yeah, it's something that sounds cool and would be
- 2:01:06definitely useful for if quarter was a bigger site in terms of
- 2:01:11its user base. But I need to do some looking
- 2:01:14around with it before I start bragging about it and marketing
- 2:01:17it. ASMR says AI is just going to
- 2:01:22dumb mankind down more. I I think in some ways it
- 2:01:27possibly could for sure. There are some things about AI
- 2:01:31that are annoying for me that a lot of people have been
- 2:01:34discovering lately, being that they're liberally slanted.
- 2:01:38Have you heard of this like you asked that you had GTPA question
- 2:01:44about, you know, could a biological man be a woman?
- 2:01:47The thing doesn't seem to be programmed with the actual
- 2:01:49scientific facts. That sounds like you're arguing
- 2:01:53with a liberal whenever you're talking to the damn thing and.
- 2:01:57Then Grok of the new AI thing that Twitter just rolled out is
- 2:02:00basically the same way. Yeah, I don't know how it is
- 2:02:04that Elon Musk. Why?
- 2:02:06Out of all the things that he could have used, why he would
- 2:02:08use that kind of software? I don't see any difference
- 2:02:11between it and ChatGPT. I can't ask it any important
- 2:02:16questions about anything because it wants to go into writing a
- 2:02:19novel about why this is not a like culturally enriching and
- 2:02:24all this. And I'm like, shut up, just tell
- 2:02:26me what I need to know. Right.
- 2:02:29And in terms of Mark's comment, AI is just going to dumb mankind
- 2:02:33down more. It depends on what you use it
- 2:02:36for. Because like if you use AI to
- 2:02:39construct your content and you know it's basically the content
- 2:02:43creation part of your content, then yeah, it's going to dumb
- 2:02:46you down because basically you're letting AI do all the
- 2:02:48thinking and all the constructing for you.
- 2:02:51But if you're someone like me or Brett and you're just using AI
- 2:02:55to create a description box for your video and for getting tags
- 2:03:00and you know, maybe even an alternative title if you're
- 2:03:04stuck on that, so that's all you use it for, then I don't see
- 2:03:09really a problem with doing that because that's what I do.
- 2:03:13And at the end of the day, that's all it does.
- 2:03:15Basically, I make the video, I say what I say, I'm the one who
- 2:03:19controls the whole content creation process.
- 2:03:22All this thing is doing is helping me word things in a way
- 2:03:25to maybe get some search engine optimization out of it, but
- 2:03:30other than that it's pretty much it.
- 2:03:32Yeah, yeah, yeah. If you know how to do the
- 2:03:35prompts really well. I've noticed that it's actually
- 2:03:38made things more effective for me on some of my videos as well
- 2:03:42as some of them post and all that.
- 2:03:44Like I'll I'll post my thing first into the AI and I'll say
- 2:03:48what would be the proper hashtags for this and who would
- 2:03:52be the the like community or group that would best be able to
- 2:03:57enjoy or absorb what I'm doing. And it helps with things like
- 2:04:02that because you may be great at coming up with topics and
- 2:04:05subjects. I know I am.
- 2:04:06I can come up with stuff just like that.
- 2:04:09But how to actually, you kind of got to advertise yourself if you
- 2:04:13want to make it in social media. And if you don't know how to do
- 2:04:16that, then you're just talking to a wall then.
- 2:04:22So Mark says the future looks very dark to me.
- 2:04:26We're going to have people dependent upon AI for
- 2:04:28creativity. And yes, that is a real danger.
- 2:04:31Brett and I both have videos from our channels last year
- 2:04:34talking about that. It's going to become commonplace
- 2:04:38for men to sleep with teens. Women.
- 2:04:41Yeah, that's another unfortunate reality that's developing in
- 2:04:45front of our eyes at this moment, especially with Twitch
- 2:04:48becoming a porn site overnight. Oh yeah, I heard about that.
- 2:04:54They've already. We've been doing that for years.
- 2:04:56But now they're basically officially saying, you know
- 2:04:59what, we're tired of dealing with this.
- 2:05:01So it's going to become like a Pornhub or whatever, but the.
- 2:05:04Timing was amazing because they literally had just banned this
- 2:05:08popular girl for dancing topless on her live stream.
- 2:05:12And then like within two days, they said, OK, now we're going
- 2:05:16to allow nudity, and now we're going to allow pole dancing and
- 2:05:20twerking and grinding on each other.
- 2:05:22And as long as you're not doing it inside of a legitimate strip
- 2:05:26club, then it's a OK to do on Twitch.
- 2:05:30And considering that almost half of Twitch's user base is made-up
- 2:05:33of people under the age of 17, I think, I think Twitch needs to
- 2:05:38be shut down. You know what I mean?
- 2:05:42Yeah, it's no longer about the gaming anymore, throughout all.
- 2:05:47That, and you're exposing, you know, millions of kids to all
- 2:05:52this degeneracy. That's a huge no, no.
- 2:05:55And there's. And what's even worse is there's
- 2:05:57no age verification tools or features implemented after these
- 2:06:02new rules were announced. Like, you don't even have to
- 2:06:05prove that you're an adult in order to look at these streams
- 2:06:09where all this stuff's going on. That's the sick part.
- 2:06:14Yeah, at least with YouTube, if you age restrict a video, they
- 2:06:18at least have to click a button that says they're 18, even
- 2:06:21though it doesn't really stop them.
- 2:06:22But but yeah, Twitch isn't even trying, as you were saying, they
- 2:06:27don't even have that. It's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, you
- 2:06:29guys can now be total degenerates, show everything to
- 2:06:32everybody. And we're not going to put any
- 2:06:35barriers in, in the way to prevent minors from seeing you.
- 2:06:38It's like. Yeah, it's been a problem for
- 2:06:47some time, Mark says. He really believes the AI is
- 2:06:50going to take a dark turn. I believe the AI is already
- 2:06:54taking a dark turn, especially on YouTube and Google.
- 2:06:58It's been used in order to keep people down and only promote the
- 2:07:03people that they want. So it has already been
- 2:07:06weaponized. It's been the liberal eyes and
- 2:07:09all that. But there's still it's like with
- 2:07:12anything with responsibility or power, as Tobey Maguire would
- 2:07:15say, you know, with much power comes great responsibility, you
- 2:07:19know, oh. That reminds me of a story I saw
- 2:07:23a few like a month or so back where there was someone at
- 2:07:27Sports Illustrated who is writing articles for them, and
- 2:07:30then they found out that the articles were all written using
- 2:07:35AI like chat. GPT like they were not original
- 2:07:38articles at all, which is literally AI generated articles.
- 2:07:42And then they found out that the person writing these AI
- 2:07:44generated articles wasn't even a real person.
- 2:07:47Like their entire profile was made-up.
- 2:07:51Yeah, they have AI bots that can do all that kind of stuff and it
- 2:07:55is, it's going to get. I I will say it's going to get
- 2:07:58creepy, especially for YouTube because they're already have you
- 2:08:02seen these videos where AI is creating Michael Jackson Queen
- 2:08:06videos? It actually looks like Michael
- 2:08:09Jackson is dancing and doing his thing and singing a completely
- 2:08:13original song. So yeah, that's that's kind of
- 2:08:17wild seeing Fred Mercury, who's been dead for some time now,
- 2:08:21actually singing the new song. Hey Brett, you're never going to
- 2:08:25guess who's in my rumble chat. Who's that missing?
- 2:08:29Maude. Oh, she found.
- 2:08:33She found my streaming destination.
- 2:08:38Hey missing mod, just thought I'd point that out for you guys.
- 2:08:44You know it's really cool to see someone follow me to Rumble or
- 2:08:48any other site from YouTube cuz like, you know yourself, Brett.
- 2:08:52Like when you have a big following or really any
- 2:08:56following on YouTube. And then you start up an alt
- 2:08:58tech site that you're trying to build up and you're encouraging
- 2:09:02all your followers to follow you on the alt tech site and watch
- 2:09:05your videos there and share them around.
- 2:09:08Almost none of them will actually come over to your alt
- 2:09:11tech site to watch you. Yeah, I've noticed that.
- 2:09:15I've noticed that. Yeah, so I see missing mod in my
- 2:09:20rumble chat. I'm very encouraged by that.
- 2:09:22I I appreciate it. I'm surprised that you haven't
- 2:09:26had the same issues I had years ago whenever I tried to open up
- 2:09:29something. Did you hear about the video
- 2:09:32site I tried to open a while back?
- 2:09:35I know you've mentioned it before, but I don't recall you
- 2:09:38telling me the full story, so why don't we make that story the
- 2:09:42last part of this podcast? OK, well there was a couple
- 2:09:45different things that happened. I opened it up, I advertised it
- 2:09:49and this was when I was still pretty popular in YouTube.
- 2:09:52Well, bunch of bastards came over from the UK 'cause that's
- 2:09:55what the thing said on the website in the dashboard of what
- 2:10:00was going on. And they were posting basically
- 2:10:02scat videos. They they just totally mass hit
- 2:10:06my video site with that kind of stuff.
- 2:10:09And one of the other things was, is that back then it was really
- 2:10:12hard to have an American hosted website without people calling
- 2:10:17up the hosting company. And then they would upload an
- 2:10:21ignorant video. Because I believed in free
- 2:10:23speech, I'd allow pretty much anything to go.
- 2:10:26What they did was they would call the hosting company and
- 2:10:29point to the video they uploaded to try to screw with me and
- 2:10:34managed to get the hosting company to shut the whole damn
- 2:10:36thing down. So yeah, it's that kind of
- 2:10:40stuff. That's one of the reasons I said
- 2:10:42to hell would that screw it? Yeah.
- 2:10:45And I I'm very aware of that possibility, which is why the
- 2:10:49company that hosts Quarter is not just any hosting company.
- 2:10:55It is Josh who hosting, which is the hosting company that my
- 2:10:59friend Josh runs, the guy who did Joshua TV and that you know
- 2:11:04is seeking the truth. He actually has his own hosting
- 2:11:07company with all kinds of servers and he's in control the
- 2:11:11whole thing. So that's why I got him to host
- 2:11:15Quarter, because I figured from your stories of the past that
- 2:11:19some atheists might try to get stupid and get me the platform
- 2:11:23to before I get going. And so if they try to do that
- 2:11:27with my friend Josh, I know it's going to happen.
- 2:11:30They're going to call them up, make up all kinds of crazy
- 2:11:33stories about me and why my site needs to be taken down and he's
- 2:11:38going to laugh at them and then go click.
- 2:11:43I used everything from Google to U Hoo Yahoo's hosting stuff.
- 2:11:49That's they used to have that going on to GoDaddy.
- 2:11:52I mean, you name it, I used all kinds of stuff.
- 2:11:55Didn't have a buddy that I could go through like that that had
- 2:11:58their own servers and all that and they had a lot of stuff
- 2:12:01knocked down. I remember Yahoo.
- 2:12:03I did something called The Serpent's Cradle and I went on
- 2:12:07the website one day and the whole thing had been hacked.
- 2:12:11Luckily I knew how to, you know, re upload all the material that
- 2:12:15was already there. So if people are running
- 2:12:18websites, you want to make sure even if you feel like you got
- 2:12:21good security, you got to back it up every once in a while.
- 2:12:25Yeah, but. You're right, though.
- 2:12:28I'm very fortunate to have Josh as a friend.
- 2:12:31I mean, it's not just like, I know him and he has a, like he
- 2:12:34and I talk on an almost regular basis, like almost daily.
- 2:12:39And we talked about all kinds of things.
- 2:12:41And he showed me behind the scenes of how this kind of
- 2:12:43hosting stuff works and especially how we've been lied
- 2:12:46to as a society and as a planet about how expensive it really is
- 2:12:50to like create and host, you know, social media sites.
- 2:12:54So because I know him so well and because I trust him so much
- 2:12:59because of that, I know that when he hosts my website with
- 2:13:03his hosting company, he will not you any of the things that
- 2:13:08happened to you Brett with these other companies that you tried
- 2:13:11to host your site through. And he also offers really cheap
- 2:13:16prices compared to everywhere else because I've noticed with
- 2:13:18other hosting sites their prices with the exception of Namecheap
- 2:13:24have all gone way up. It's just ridiculous how
- 2:13:27expensive it is to host a website or even a domain these
- 2:13:31days on just about every other hosting service there is.
- 2:13:35So at this point, my friend Josh's hosting site is probably
- 2:13:38the best thing for people trying to start websites not just for
- 2:13:42me, but for anybody. And because I know him so well,
- 2:13:47and because we are on a regular talking basis, I know that
- 2:13:50there's no way an atheist or group of atheists will ever get
- 2:13:53my site to platforms by complaining to him.
- 2:13:56And so that's the reason why I haven't experienced the same
- 2:14:01things like that as you have. But I have experienced giant
- 2:14:05DDoS attacks. I remember the day I launched
- 2:14:09quarter, I didn't have any security installed on my server
- 2:14:15to deal with DDoS attacks. So within an hour and a half of
- 2:14:19quarter going online in May of last year, my site got hit with
- 2:14:24so many and so many powerful DDoS attacks that within an hour
- 2:14:29and a half my site was slowed down to the point where you
- 2:14:32couldn't even load it up. So Josh pulled out something
- 2:14:36called Crowdsec, which is an open source globally contributed
- 2:14:41to the security system that deals of DDoS attacks.
- 2:14:46Basically as this giant list of the IP addresses that are
- 2:14:50attached to all of the DDoS bots that are in the database.
- 2:14:55And if any of those bots try to DDoS your website, the Crowdsec
- 2:15:00system kicks in and it basically sends them away before they ever
- 2:15:04get a chance to slow down your site.
- 2:15:07So technically right now my website quarter, they are trying
- 2:15:11to DDoS the crap out of it they have for the last year and a
- 2:15:14half. But because I have this crowd
- 2:15:17sex security installed on the back end of the server that my
- 2:15:21site is on, you don't even notice the DDoS attacks on
- 2:15:24quarter. That's how good this particular
- 2:15:27system works. So yeah, these days they try to
- 2:15:31just overwhelm people of DDoS attacks.
- 2:15:33Especially if you try to start your own video sharing site to
- 2:15:37compete with YouTube, that's when they really hit you with
- 2:15:40DDOS's. Yep.
- 2:15:44There you go, ma'am. Actually, while we're here,
- 2:15:47before we go, because we technically still have a little
- 2:15:49bit of time, I want to see if I can find two.net.
- 2:15:57Let's see, I don't think he has because his old news website
- 2:16:07used to have the DDoS map. Let's see if I can find it in
- 2:16:09Google because there is a great website that shows you all of
- 2:16:14the active DDoS attacks that are going on around the world.
- 2:16:20Just got to remember DDoS attack map.
- 2:16:23Let's see if I can find it. I just don't remember what it's
- 2:16:29called. Let me see if this one does it.
- 2:16:33No, that's. Let's see.
- 2:16:45No, that doesn't work. I'll do it in another stream one
- 2:16:50day. But there's this great site that
- 2:16:52shows you all the DDoS attacks that are going on around the
- 2:16:55world. And basically, if you look at
- 2:16:57this live map, it looks like, you know, like what you'd see if
- 2:17:01like, nukes were being sent from country to country.
- 2:17:03It's like. Oh, remember I posted 2 links
- 2:17:08for you? I got two things for you that I
- 2:17:11would love to see you react to. They're real short.
- 2:17:14The first one's hilarious. Let.
- 2:17:17Me bring up the other one too. All right, let's see.
- 2:17:27Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I I, I know of these.
- 2:17:31Well, I I, I saw the second one passing.
- 2:17:34But the first one I was reading about while I was on break at
- 2:17:37work today, and I just thought it was hilarious.
- 2:17:40Oh. You got to play it.
- 2:17:41It's funny. OK.
- 2:17:43Well, hold on, let me pause. OK.
- 2:17:51Much for coming on. And what do you hope you can do
- 2:17:54by taking the risks that you take so people can understand
- 2:17:58what you're dealing with? I'm sorry, do you mind repeating
- 2:18:05the question? Fuck off.
- 2:18:07Why? Do you?
- 2:18:08What do you want people to learn?
- 2:18:11I want people to learn that Tourette's is Neuro is a
- 2:18:16neurological, involuntary motor and vocal disorder.
- 2:18:20Fuck off, fuck off, fuck off. I don't tick 24/7 and there's a
- 2:18:24lot of little baby wings. Fuck off.
- 2:18:30Fuck you Chris. There's a lot of things that
- 2:18:33people don't understand, like people think that cussing isn't
- 2:18:39is with everyone who has Tourette's syndrome, but it's
- 2:18:41only in 10% of people with Tourette's.
- 2:18:46And how has it been? And she is definitely part of
- 2:18:50that 10%. Just saying and.
- 2:18:52As you've gotten more famous, do you believe that people are
- 2:18:55understanding better, or are they dopes like me who think
- 2:18:57you're acting? I say it's, I say it's the same.
- 2:19:03I think there's a lot more people that don't understand
- 2:19:06what Tourette's is and they like to educate themselves more.
- 2:19:11So I get thousands of DMS from parents, from teachers, from
- 2:19:17girls that have been diagnosed with Tourette's, and they've had
- 2:19:21to be kicked out of school for attention seeking because they
- 2:19:24grew up. They rip up their homework or do
- 2:19:28things like that. I've had parents reach out to me
- 2:19:31asking me, Oh, my son's coming home with a girlfriend and his
- 2:19:35girlfriend has Tourette's syndrome.
- 2:19:39So and then I also get very evil people that will comment and say
- 2:19:45like, go fuck yourself Chris. Lick your biscuit fat ass that
- 2:19:51have told me that my parents deserved to die in a car
- 2:19:55accident because I'm faking my condition.
- 2:19:58Or people have told me that like, I've had to have the
- 2:20:01police at my house because people gave out my location and
- 2:20:05said they're going to come torch my house like it's crazy.
- 2:20:08Here's the thing, Clinically, people suck and they're mean and
- 2:20:15they're stupid and they try to make themselves feel better by
- 2:20:17going after others. And you are the antidote, my
- 2:20:20young friend, because you have my kids.
- 2:20:25You have my kids repeating your lines so that it's almost become
- 2:20:31cool. And not because you know it's
- 2:20:32raunchy. It's because you're being real
- 2:20:35and you're living your truth. And they love it.
- 2:20:38They love the bravery of it, and so do I.
- 2:20:42And I love how you've changed your mission.
- 2:20:44You were at university. COVID was tough for you.
- 2:20:47Tougher than for most, right? Really blew up your symptoms.
- 2:20:51And now you want to be a physical therapist because
- 2:20:53exercise helps you and you believe it's a way that you can
- 2:20:57help others. A personal trainer, right?
- 2:21:00Yes. So I go to the gym five days a
- 2:21:02week, and I go to a workout class, splitting it throughout
- 2:21:07the week. I love exercise.
- 2:21:09My boyfriend got me into it. I've been doing it for about a
- 2:21:13year now. I love it.
- 2:21:15It's my it's my release. I obviously go to the gym and I
- 2:21:19wear headphones. And that's also a very big
- 2:21:22factor in how fuck off, fuck Colin, fuck that bitch.
- 2:21:26That's also a really big, like part in my journey was starting
- 2:21:31out with him. Well.
- 2:21:35I love seeing him in the videos. You guys have a great bond.
- 2:21:38I love everything about your family and I love the story
- 2:21:41you're telling the people and living your truth.
- 2:21:44You're done. My.
- 2:21:45Kids, you're done. My God, you know what?
- 2:21:47I am done. I got to go to phone calls
- 2:21:49because they're blowing up with support for you.
- 2:21:52So I hope you can watch it at home and listen to everybody who
- 2:21:55wants to say great it. Was rough, wasn't it?
- 2:22:00Oh. My God.
- 2:22:03First of all, I should start out by saying that I actually have
- 2:22:10worked with someone of Tourette's before as part of my
- 2:22:12previous job as a caregiver. So she is right.
- 2:22:17Not everyone of Tourette's, you know, is like a sailor's
- 2:22:20swearing. You know, the one I worked with
- 2:22:23occasionally swore, But his tics were mostly like body language
- 2:22:28related because it's like the South Park episode on
- 2:22:31Tourette's. That episode is shockingly
- 2:22:34accurate and how it portrayed the variety of people with
- 2:22:38Tourette's, but the way that she swore at him too reminded me of
- 2:22:44when Cartman pretended to have Tourette's well.
- 2:22:48There's a lot of people out there.
- 2:22:49I don't know if you realize this, but that specific girl,
- 2:22:52she's actually a very popular YouTube, and she's gotten
- 2:22:55popular from doing serious topics and then all of a sudden
- 2:22:59blow it out your ass, she screams or something.
- 2:23:02There was a girl on Twitch that got really popular where she
- 2:23:05would, you know yell or start cussing or she would just out
- 2:23:10out of nowhere just turn sideways and fart at the screen
- 2:23:13and all that and claimed it was Tourette's.
- 2:23:15There's been a lot of people on YouTube who've been how shall I
- 2:23:19say, exposed for pretending to have disabilities.
- 2:23:23So that's that's why she was on the news for not just because
- 2:23:27they wanted to talk about the the case.
- 2:23:29It's everybody that I've ever met.
- 2:23:31I've got my sister used to date a guy that had Tourette's and he
- 2:23:36never, you know, would just scream out cock sucker or
- 2:23:39noises. He would jerk and he would have
- 2:23:42nerve issues, but he never likes would say horrible stuff like
- 2:23:46that. The second one really, really
- 2:23:48cracks me up. Yeah, I I did catch though the
- 2:23:52part where he actually accused her of faking it.
- 2:23:54Did you catch that too? I.
- 2:23:56Did. And then the things that came
- 2:24:02out of her mouth and her Tourette's moment were perfect.
- 2:24:05Yes. We suddenly started talking all
- 2:24:07normal for a little bit there. Yeah, and then the stuff she
- 2:24:13said when she was having her Tourette's moment with the, you
- 2:24:15know, FU and all that, I was like, I was thinking to myself,
- 2:24:19I wish I could say that to that guy.
- 2:24:24Actually, I don't. But but you know what I mean?
- 2:24:26It would be so. I get to He's a he's a creep.
- 2:24:30Yeah, he's a he's what they call APOS POS.
- 2:24:37Are you ready for that one last deal?
- 2:24:40Sure. Oh, gosh, Hunter Biden.
- 2:24:45OK, just give me a second here. I got a screen.
- 2:24:51Share it. This will crack you up.
- 2:24:57This is a good way to end the stream with some comedy.
- 2:25:01All right, now I'm. Here today to answer at a public
- 2:25:05hearing any legitimate questions, Chairman.
- 2:25:25Oh my God, that. You know, I know it's fake, but
- 2:25:29I can see him doing it. Well, he actually has done that.
- 2:25:34He recorded himself doing a lot of weird stuff in the past, so
- 2:25:38that's why it fits so well with old Hunter Biden Let.
- 2:25:41Me look up one thing before we leave, because Babylon B just
- 2:25:46had an excellent article about this.
- 2:25:50I just need to look for it really quick.
- 2:25:58OK, not that. Let's try pledge 2.
- 2:26:03Where is it? That was about, you know, I'm
- 2:26:10gonna go to the trending one. Hold on trending 'cause they at
- 2:26:19Babylon B just put out an article about Hunter Biden
- 2:26:22making fun of this. Let me try searching on their
- 2:26:25site. Hunter Biden.
- 2:26:37Hold on. How about closed door?
- 2:26:45Here it is. Here it is.
- 2:26:47Found it. This is from yesterday on the
- 2:26:52Babylon Bee. We'll end our stream with this
- 2:26:55because this is just hilarious. Let me just get it on here.
- 2:27:01Share McDonald dresses as prostitute to lure Hunter into
- 2:27:08closed door hearing. That's what that video you
- 2:27:15showed me reminded me of. Oh.
- 2:27:17Boy, let's. Read it with Hunter Biden.
- 2:27:21There's still people out there, though.
- 2:27:23TTR to think that we there's still sides to all this.
- 2:27:27I I don't trust a lot of these Republicans any more than
- 2:27:30Democrats, You know, they're just they're traitors.
- 2:27:33Go ahead. Yeah.
- 2:27:34I get that. But this is funny though.
- 2:27:38With Hunter Biden refusing to appear for closed door testimony
- 2:27:41to the House of Representatives, Senate Minority Leader Mitch
- 2:27:44McDonald cleverly dressed up like a prostitute to lure Hunter
- 2:27:48in to meet with Republicans. Hey big boy, said Senator
- 2:27:52McDonnell in his McConnell and his most sultry voice as Hunter
- 2:27:56stroll by. I've been so lonely hoping a 50
- 2:27:59something addict would come by and split this bag of crack
- 2:28:02cocaine with me. What do you say, stud?
- 2:28:06Although some insiders were skeptical that the ploy would be
- 2:28:09would be successful, Republican leadership remained confident.
- 2:28:13McConnell may not be much to look at under normal
- 2:28:16circumstances, admitted Representative Dan Crenshaw.
- 2:28:20However, those of us who have seen him dress and drag for
- 2:28:23private congressional parties can attest to the fact that he
- 2:28:25can certainly catch your eye in the right dress.
- 2:28:28If he has Lindsey Graham to help him with hair and makeup, watch
- 2:28:32out with Hunter Biden initially refused.
- 2:28:35While Hunter Biden initially refused to comply with a
- 2:28:38congressional subpoena to testify, McConnell and the other
- 2:28:41GOP lawmakers believed it was only a matter of time before he
- 2:28:44would be caught in their trap. Just look at McConnell in that
- 2:28:47outfit, said Senator Tom Cotton, who couldn't resist that at
- 2:28:52publishing time, McConnell was overheard asking aides to thank
- 2:28:55former New York Congressman George Santos for letting
- 2:28:58McConnell borrow his dress. Oh, that's.
- 2:29:08Rough. But given Hunter Biden's real
- 2:29:10life proclivity to, you know, bang prostitutes, his ploy in
- 2:29:16real life might actually work on him.
- 2:29:21Oh goodness. Oh yeah.
- 2:29:25You got to be able to laugh at the things going on in the world
- 2:29:30sometimes, especially when it's a satire article.
- 2:29:34And but then you read it and you're like this could happen in
- 2:29:36real life. There's been like 5 or 6 Babylon
- 2:29:39B articles in the past, you know, that were obviously
- 2:29:42satirical when they were written, but then they came to
- 2:29:45pass in real life. So, you know, real life and
- 2:29:50parody. The lines between them are
- 2:29:52really starting to blur in recent years and sometimes you
- 2:29:56just got to be able to laugh at it, especially when it's good
- 2:30:01satire. That's rough.
- 2:30:04Well, hopefully Dark Mood and Moon and Mark will join us next
- 2:30:09time when we do something. Oh gosh, Dark moon.
- 2:30:15If I had a nickel for every time I heard the phrase your truth,
- 2:30:17or if I had one for every time some Joker says the universe
- 2:30:20instead of God, I'd be richer than Elon Musk.
- 2:30:26That's something I've been seeing on X recently too, is the
- 2:30:29way that atheists and evolutionists will personify the
- 2:30:33universe. They don't talk about the
- 2:30:34universe as the reality we live in.
- 2:30:37They talk about it as if it's some kind of mystical deity that
- 2:30:40has powers and can do stuff for us if we just put out the right
- 2:30:44vibes. Anthropomorphic.
- 2:30:51Yeah. All right, guys.
- 2:30:53We've been going 2 1/2 hours. This is going to be fun to
- 2:30:56import over to other sites, so I'm going to go ahead and get us
- 2:31:00out of here. But it's been a fun stream.
- 2:31:02Hopefully if you've been watching on Rumble on My Rumble
- 2:31:06Channel, or if you've been watching through Brett's YouTube
- 2:31:09channel, hopefully you had fun going along this crazy ride with
- 2:31:13us. And as far as GOD TV radio goes,
- 2:31:17I will see you in two weeks. But if you're looking for
- 2:31:20another episode, the TTOR show TuneIn next week at 8:00 PM
- 2:31:25Pacific Standard Time here on the TTOR Rumble Channel.
- 2:31:29See you then. The.
