- 7:45back to the show. Let's talk science. A tiny
- 7:50ape -like humanoid may still be living in plain
- 7:53sight, scientist says. Floris, Indonesia is the
- 7:57home of the scientific study of small humans.
- 8:00Retired professor Gregory Forth continues to
- 8:03proliferate the hope of finding a living Homo
- 8:06floresiensis. His book spells out his multi -decade
- 8:10search for evidence of a continually living human
- 8:13-like species. The scientific community believes
- 8:17a small species of human known as Homo floresiensis
- 8:21once lived on Floris, Indonesia. around 50 ,000
- 8:25years ago. Forth thinks these ape -like humanoids
- 8:29could still exist, evolution be damned. He has
- 8:33studied Homo floresiensis for roughly 40 years.
- 8:37Forth's hopes of a living Homo floresiensis were
- 8:40emboldened by the finding of fossils roughly
- 8:4320 years ago. Netflix has informed Warner Bros.
- 8:52Discovery Management that it would continue releasing
- 8:55the studio's films and theaters if its acquisition
- 8:58of the company is successful, Bloomberg News
- 9:01reported on Wednesday. The existing theatrical
- 9:04release contracts of Warner Bros. would be honored,
- 9:07according to the report, which cited sources
- 9:10familiar with the matter. Reuters could not immediately
- 9:14verify the report. This news could reshape the
- 9:17future of theatrical releases if the acquisition
- 9:20proceeds, highlighting Netflix's commitment to
- 9:23maintaining traditional cinema experiences. Stay
- 9:27tuned for further updates on this developing
- 9:30story. Well, alrighty folks, it's time for the
- 9:35quote of the day. And today, our quote comes
- 9:38from the American lawyer and Supreme Court justice,
- 9:42Robert H. Jackson. And he said, The ultimate
- 9:47purpose of the Nuremberg Trials was to make the
- 9:49law of the future not merely to punish the past.
