- 2:26Speaker 3: are taking on a three to o Nebraska Cornhuskers football
- 2:30Speaker 3: team led by year three Matt Rule. It is sure
- 2:34Speaker 3: to be an outstanding game. The competition is going to
- 2:36Speaker 3: be incredible. As it stands right now, Michigan is four
- 2:39Speaker 3: and oh in their last fourgust Nebraska. Do they turn around?
- 2:42Speaker 3: That's up to him. That's up to Matt Rule and
- 2:43Speaker 3: his boys to figure it out.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Big show, Big show this week, Big Birthday weekend.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Big Birthday weekend is birthday.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Birthday's off we lose this game. I know my birthday
- 2:55Speaker 4: happens on Friday. Yeah, but if we lose Saturday, we
- 2:57Speaker 4: got to be like, all right, birthday thirty five again.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Right, We're just that's a good way to go backwards
- 3:02Speaker 3: in time. Yeah, you'll just restart everything.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:05Speaker 3: And there was a bet that was suggested, suggested on Monday,
- 3:10Speaker 3: that bet shortly after the show was filmed, was agreed upon,
- 3:15Speaker 3: and that they'll have to find out in the locker room. Okay,
- 3:18Speaker 3: blurt that out. Blurt that out. It'll be on the
- 3:20Speaker 3: locker room. Blurp that out. Make sure you write down
- 3:22Speaker 3: your notes. Mitch bleed that out.
- 3:23Speaker 4: But for those that watched the recap with the bets
- 3:26Speaker 4: are thrown around, said, we'll talk about it we got
- 3:28Speaker 4: you know, the show happened. Afterwards, we figured something out.
- 3:31Speaker 4: You will find out what that is on the locker room.
- 3:35Speaker 4: This game is everything. The minute the game ended yesterday
- 3:39Speaker 4: between both teams, because I was watching your guys game
- 3:41Speaker 4: a little bit, I was obviously watching the Huskers juggling
- 3:44Speaker 4: the two kidd oh's, I had rue, Hey, we got
- 3:45Speaker 4: to watch the Huskers like this is this is this
- 3:47Speaker 4: is this is not negotiable. But the minute that game ended,
- 3:52Speaker 4: I shot the text. I said it's go time, go
- 3:56Speaker 4: Toru okay, because I was I was literally thinking, I say,
- 4:00Speaker 4: am I CT brain. I'm like, I don't remember getting
- 4:02Speaker 4: a text from you, but you said text. I paced around.
- 4:07Speaker 4: I just paced around my house. You know how I pace, right,
- 4:09Speaker 4: I can't be on the phone and like I'm a pacer.
- 4:12Speaker 4: I probably paced around the house for the next fifteen
- 4:13Speaker 4: to twenty minutes.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I watched the game Michigan versus Central Michigan. It was
- 4:17Speaker 3: a great game. If you're a Michigan fan, to w
- 4:19Speaker 3: wash it like that's that's what you want to see
- 4:22Speaker 3: going into Big ten play, because that's what this is.
- 4:24Speaker 3: At the end of day, it's it's the start of
- 4:25Speaker 3: Big ten play kicks off. I am at a Hummingbird
- 4:31Speaker 3: thing expedition, Hummingbird Festival, and my wife say, hey, we're
- 4:35Speaker 3: going for five minutes. The whole thing. I did a
- 4:36Speaker 3: whole thing on Twitter about this, where it's like I
- 4:39Speaker 3: inception my wife Thursday Friday, like, hey, they play at eleven.
- 4:43Speaker 3: I love to watch again they played at eleven. I
- 4:44Speaker 3: love to watch the game. Woke up at nine, get
- 4:46Speaker 3: everything done and I get to the farmer's market at
- 4:49Speaker 3: ten or a nine to fifteen, nine thirty ish. We
- 4:52Speaker 3: get everything going and I get in the car and
- 4:55Speaker 3: it's like ten to fifteen and tailoring. My beautiful wife.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I love her to death, seriously, She's a great thing
- 4:58Speaker 3: that's ever happened to me. How Ever, looks me in
- 5:01Speaker 3: the eyes and goes, there's this hummingbird thing going on,
- 5:04Speaker 3: Hummingbird Festival right on Highway one hundred. I told the
- 5:07Speaker 3: kids about it. They really want to go. First off,
- 5:09Speaker 3: tailing and your family watches the show. Shame on you.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Shame on you for telling our kids about it before
- 5:15Speaker 3: you even came to me. Shame on you about that.
- 5:17Speaker 3: That's not okay.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Knowing that this situation, this moment was going to come
- 5:20Speaker 4: up because whether.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Taylor you're corner, yeah, whether Taylor wants to not remember
- 5:24Speaker 3: or remember, I guaranteed the words were said because I
- 5:26Speaker 3: had a little note thing on my phone saying how
- 5:28Speaker 3: many times you shay the tailing? And I checked it
- 5:30Speaker 3: off six or seven times. So I was keeping because
- 5:32Speaker 3: I know my brain. I can get a little bit.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Whoa everyone, So all right, I start getting a little seat.
- 5:38Speaker 3: I take a couple of hits. I dove into a
- 5:39Speaker 3: few too many piles, so I know I can forget
- 5:41Speaker 3: some things sometimes. So I wanted to make sure I
- 5:44Speaker 3: took care of my house first. Make sure you mentioned it,
- 5:46Speaker 3: Tand they play at eleven that started Thursday when I
- 5:49Speaker 3: got home from ESPN played eleven Saturday on Saturday, and
- 5:52Speaker 3: so I'm at this Hummingbird festival and I am I mean,
- 5:56Speaker 3: kids are having a good time. God bless them, God
- 5:59Speaker 3: blessed my children. They have little these little passport cards
- 6:01Speaker 3: to get stamps on arts and crafts everywhere. I'm sure
- 6:04Speaker 3: they had fun. Win rebela won. My daughter is like, Mommy,
- 6:08Speaker 3: we shouldn't stay very long because Michigan plays that was big,
- 6:13Speaker 3: that was made. I bribe my kids. I do oh yeah,
- 6:16Speaker 3: assume me I got I went to five daughters. I said,
- 6:18Speaker 3: I got us. I got got us a six pack.
- 6:21Speaker 3: You guys want to watch the game with daddy. These
- 6:22Speaker 3: are available to you if you watch the game with daddy.
- 6:25Speaker 3: And I did say if they're jaskeed, all go blue, Daddy,
- 6:28Speaker 3: go blooe, we're all bad. We're gonna beat them when
- 6:31Speaker 3: it's going to people and the farmers are not gonna
- 6:33Speaker 3: be in Like you know, Michigan beat beat Ohio last year.
- 6:36Speaker 3: She didn't say. I never told her, we don't say
- 6:38Speaker 3: Aho State because I think that's kind of lame as fuck.
- 6:40Speaker 3: But uh, she keeps going, we keep beating Ohio. We
- 6:42Speaker 3: can't lose to Ohio. All these things. I go, I
- 6:45Speaker 3: watch the game. It is what it is? You said,
- 6:48Speaker 3: you paste?
- 6:49Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:50Speaker 3: I took a nap right after. It felt good. It
- 6:53Speaker 3: felt good to see that game.
- 6:54Speaker 4: You guys have you guys, we're gonna different and different
- 6:58Speaker 4: spot culture wise.
- 6:59Speaker 3: What I like about this game is it's gonna be
- 7:02Speaker 3: so telling for both both programs. You know, you got
- 7:05Speaker 3: this two five star quarterbacks going on it. Both considered
- 7:09Speaker 3: to be generational talents. I love what Matt Rule has
- 7:12Speaker 3: done with that program. I love to turnaround you play. Yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 3: you've played nobody's but at the end of the day,
- 7:17Speaker 3: like you've produced against nobody's the way you should produce.
- 7:20Speaker 3: And that's the sign of a really good football team.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Big fan of Rule. Who's Dane Holgerson. He's a study,
- 7:27Speaker 3: Especially Mike Eckler, big fan Eckler. I said this already
- 7:31Speaker 3: on the show Cincinnati. I'm looking to make I'm all,
- 7:34Speaker 3: I'm a big greag, that kind of like showing off.
- 7:35Speaker 3: I'm supporting the boys, and I go, but in a
- 7:38Speaker 3: couple of weeks it's not gonna be the same. And
- 7:39Speaker 3: he looks me dead in the eye and says, we
- 7:40Speaker 3: don't fucking need your support. And that's beautiful. I got,
- 7:44Speaker 3: I got Nebraska fans, Fuck you, Taylor, all the things
- 7:47Speaker 3: good good Nebraska is on the right track. I love it.
- 7:53Speaker 3: I absolutely love It's gonna be a gret game Saturday.
- 7:54Speaker 3: I can't wait.
- 7:56Speaker 4: So how did it go with the daughter story?
- 7:59Speaker 3: I ended pretty much. I mean, we get to the house.
- 8:01Speaker 4: Like, did you stay right right?
- 8:04Speaker 3: Because I started ask we get there like the second
- 8:07Speaker 3: half is starting while I'm in the car still and Buddy.
- 8:12Speaker 4: So did you take the donuts away?
- 8:14Speaker 3: I told the kids were walking the car.
- 8:16Speaker 1: They go, let's go.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Hold watch the Michion gave me to donis you go?
- 8:18Speaker 3: Rumors are sorely the donuts are no longer available.
- 8:21Speaker 4: I would have been working the politics. This would have
- 8:23Speaker 4: been a game of survivor. Wife tells me that, hey, sweetheart,
- 8:25Speaker 4: you know, hey, if we go to this Hummingbird thing,
- 8:27Speaker 4: donuts are.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Going, don'ts are gone.
- 8:29Speaker 4: I would have bought ten fifteen extra minutes. The would
- 8:31Speaker 4: have been an uber and a black suv would have
- 8:33Speaker 4: pulled out a bed.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Sweetheart. Yeah, you guys go to the It's hilarious. Do
- 8:39Speaker 3: we win? And at this I'm like, sitting there, I'm like,
- 8:42Speaker 3: I'm obviously not present right now, but it's like I
- 8:46Speaker 3: know that my wife knows that my kids are pretty
- 8:48Speaker 3: aware of that that I don't want to be here,
- 8:49Speaker 3: and it's like if my kids know, I pop on
- 8:51Speaker 3: the YouTube TV on my my phone. I just got
- 8:54Speaker 3: it sitting there. Funny enough, some guy next to me,
- 8:57Speaker 3: he's like, it's twenty one zero and I go, you
- 8:59Speaker 3: talk about the Michigan game. He goes, I can't get
- 9:01Speaker 3: it up on my phone. I bet service and a
- 9:02Speaker 3: buddy come over here. We started watching the game together,
- 9:04Speaker 3: made a couple of friends. So I ended up working out,
- 9:08Speaker 3: But still Tailing you can't you can't operate like that.
- 9:12Speaker 4: You got to have good situational football. That's one. Hey,
- 9:14Speaker 4: this is ship that gets you beat.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Right, And I think that Taylor would argue that is
- 9:17Speaker 3: good situational football because that's the ship that got her
- 9:20Speaker 3: to a Hummingbird festival.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Because you guys are not aligned, You're not on the
- 9:24Speaker 4: same team, right, know what I mean? Right?
- 9:25Speaker 1: Right?
- 9:25Speaker 3: And yeah, it's it's it's tough for me to say
- 9:27Speaker 3: that Tailor cares about Michigan as much as I care
- 9:28Speaker 3: about Michigan. It's tough. She's a Canadian. She doesn't understand
- 9:33Speaker 3: American college sports.
- 9:35Speaker 4: She doesn't understand the team keys going to the weekend was.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Let me tell you where Tailor's fucked up. After the game,
- 9:43Speaker 3: I'm talking to Taylor after my nap, I'm talking to Tailoring,
- 9:46Speaker 3: and I'm telling her how, like, how big of a
- 9:48Speaker 3: game this is for you, and if it doesn't go
- 9:50Speaker 3: the way for you, it might affect our relationship in
- 9:53Speaker 3: a way that I don't know if we can come
- 9:54Speaker 3: back from and Tan goes, there goes, that's what are
- 9:57Speaker 3: you talking about? Like it's isn't it a bit with
- 10:00Speaker 3: Will in Nebraska? Honey, we all thought it was for
- 10:04Speaker 3: the last four years, we all thought it was. But sweetheart,
- 10:08Speaker 3: I hit it with the sweetheart too sweeter. I really
- 10:11Speaker 3: think at this point he believes the words that come
- 10:13Speaker 3: out of.
- 10:13Speaker 1: His mouth.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Consistent, and I'm not no, I think that Brassa is
- 10:17Speaker 3: a good ball club. This year. I'm saying, like the
- 10:19Speaker 3: three and nine year, the seventh, like last year, the whole,
- 10:21Speaker 3: like the whole, the whole thing works where it's like
- 10:23Speaker 3: Will is truly believing all this, and I think if
- 10:26Speaker 3: it doesn't go his way, like Bustin, might be in trouble.
- 10:29Speaker 4: No, because if you if you trust my words, then
- 10:31Speaker 4: I've always said our related that thishing is gonna happen
- 10:34Speaker 4: to a relationship like yeah, it's gonna suck.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Like I said, I'm Michigan and Nebraska player. We want
- 10:38Speaker 3: Michigan won forty five to seven. And shortly after that,
- 10:41Speaker 3: Will you told me that you want Michigan to fail.
- 10:44Speaker 4: Because the way you would just pat me on the
- 10:45Speaker 4: head like I can't help the way I react to
- 10:47Speaker 4: the things that you might do. But I'm just saying, like,
- 10:50Speaker 4: the reason I'm so juice is I care. I care
- 10:53Speaker 4: about the programming. It's not just this one game. Like
- 10:55Speaker 4: there's no taking a nap on any week after Nebraska
- 10:58Speaker 4: places because I'm thinking about the next week, the next week,
- 11:00Speaker 4: the next week. If we get this game, it's out
- 11:03Speaker 4: there for us. It's out there for us to run
- 11:05Speaker 4: the table. If we take a lump in this game,
- 11:08Speaker 4: we're gonna have to bounce back. But it's like, what
- 11:11Speaker 4: what team do we have? And is it gonna have?
- 11:12Speaker 4: Are we gonna get are we gonna get beat my
- 11:14Speaker 4: Michigan's gonna be Michigan, USC and Penn State. Then you're
- 11:17Speaker 4: not in the playoffs if you lose three games, like
- 11:18Speaker 4: I still go to it. No, we're taking care of Iowa, buddy.
- 11:22Speaker 4: That's where my confidence. My confidence goes up to that point.
- 11:25Speaker 4: But now I'm at the I'm at the spot of
- 11:26Speaker 4: like the the real healthy optimistic nerves of like, is
- 11:32Speaker 4: this is this the the era? Is this it? We
- 11:34Speaker 4: look good? I know we've played some slapticks, but this
- 11:37Speaker 4: is you know, you're a little I'm nervous for the
- 11:39Speaker 4: game in general. Yeah, of course I want to beat you,
- 11:42Speaker 4: but it's not If this isn't like a If we
- 11:45Speaker 4: get beat I'm just gonna be sad and I'm gonna
- 11:47Speaker 4: be disappointed and I'm gonna have to I'm gonna have
- 11:49Speaker 4: to handle myself a lot better because I could be
- 11:51Speaker 4: like a caged animal that you know, Mike loses himself
- 11:55Speaker 4: and I'm gonna have to call therapist right after the
- 11:56Speaker 4: game if we do lose the.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Game, right, Can I just tell you to how the
- 11:59Speaker 3: last couple of hours have gone this Monday, I'm worried
- 12:02Speaker 3: about your mentals of mis If Michigan wins.
- 12:04Speaker 4: That's okay, that's again, that's if we're If we're coaching
- 12:08Speaker 4: ball inside of Will's body, that's outside noise, you know
- 12:11Speaker 4: what I'm saying.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Yeah, but I'm saying the outside action. I don't know
- 12:14Speaker 3: what's going inside your body, but the outside action is like,
- 12:16Speaker 3: is Will okay right now? And it's Monday?
- 12:19Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I'm buddy, I'm excited. I'm ready to go.
- 12:22Speaker 4: But this is this is our first big test, you
- 12:25Speaker 4: know what I mean? Yeah, Like, this is me, this
- 12:28Speaker 4: is me. Any big tests we have, and if I'm thinking, like, hey,
- 12:31Speaker 4: we can win this game like this is This is
- 12:33Speaker 4: Willy c Twenty four to seven with the Huskers.
- 12:37Speaker 3: I love it.
- 12:37Speaker 4: This game does mean more, but it's you know. Oh listen,
- 12:40Speaker 4: we're gonna be fine.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Tell him about our beautiful guest afterday.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Will the misz just a specimen of a human being,
- 12:48Speaker 4: good looking cat. And then he gets here in a
- 12:51Speaker 4: few minutes. Oh miss is here. Wow, Oh the miss
- 12:55Speaker 4: is here. The miss is here. Here, he's he's in
- 12:58Speaker 4: the building. He is in the building.
- 13:00Speaker 3: He's ready to come on the bus.
- 13:01Speaker 4: When ady, I here's all I hear. Put this, run
- 13:05Speaker 4: this through the chain. If Miz can talk some ball,
- 13:08Speaker 4: he can come on right now and we can talk
- 13:10Speaker 4: some ball.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Can Miss hear me right now? He can't, mister Mizz,
- 13:14Speaker 3: mister Mizzy. There Taylor hold on ud oh JP asking
- 13:19Speaker 3: if he knows ball?
- 13:21Speaker 4: He does he love ball.
- 13:23Speaker 3: I'm gonna doing the role play thing with you again
- 13:25Speaker 3: because I see the Roe spicy tear talk on here,
- 13:27Speaker 3: and I remember the the back and forth of you
- 13:29Speaker 3: and Will had tough. I just tough and beautiful. What
- 13:34Speaker 3: are you saying? Got a camera, so let's get real quick.

- 15:00Speaker 3: give it up, no doubt about it. Where's moving? Can original?
- 15:06Speaker 1: Really? And so I was telling your guys over on
- 15:10Speaker 1: the other side, I was like, I was expecting, like
- 15:13Speaker 1: in the middle of a like a field, just a
- 15:15Speaker 1: bus and literally you walk on the bus. And that's
- 15:19Speaker 1: what I was expecting. I was literally expecting to walk on.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I was not expecting like it was a huge and
- 15:25Speaker 1: got some stuff going on. Big you got a ton
- 15:27Speaker 1: of stuff going.
- 15:28Speaker 3: But it didn't start like this. It started in the
- 15:30Speaker 3: back of a gravel parking lot.
- 15:31Speaker 4: It started how well you expected it.
- 15:34Speaker 3: That's the origin store I wanted.
- 15:35Speaker 1: That's what I wanted.
- 15:36Speaker 4: My give going on a generator. We would have had
- 15:38Speaker 4: to cut the A C because it makes too much
- 15:39Speaker 4: noise and we would have been sweating. You would have
- 15:41Speaker 4: been really sweating.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I would have done it, though, I would have.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I would have been.
- 15:45Speaker 4: Because you're a grinder.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm a man of the grind. Let's go.
- 15:48Speaker 3: You're a man of the grind. Absolutely. So what we
- 15:51Speaker 3: just did right and that just recently was we are
- 15:53Speaker 3: we rolling right now? Well we did this recently read
- 15:55Speaker 3: an ad for roast sparks and we usually do like
- 15:58Speaker 3: a spicy little tear talk that goes with it. Sure,
- 16:00Speaker 3: what's the category today?
- 16:02Speaker 4: Celebrity crushes? Celebrity crush?
- 16:04Speaker 3: So okay, this I think is a good This is
- 16:06Speaker 3: a good ice breaking situation for them is himself? Okay?
- 16:08Speaker 3: Can you seem like a ladies man? You see, like
- 16:10Speaker 3: a guy that can handle his business between the sheets. Okay,
- 16:13Speaker 3: I'm sure before the yeah yeah, and amazing as well.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Celebrity crushes though I was when you were a kid. Now,
- 16:23Speaker 3: the way tier talk works is you can have an
- 16:25Speaker 3: honorable mention if you want, if you like, there's more
- 16:27Speaker 3: than three, then we're gonna go to tier three and
- 16:30Speaker 3: we're gon say this is my third place person, Tier two,
- 16:33Speaker 3: and then finally your tier one will be it.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Okay, I have my tier I have my Tier one.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Right and out of respect for you and you're getting
- 16:41Speaker 3: comfortable on the bus, I'm gonna have Will Compton go first.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Oh oh yeah, I'm gonna have Will Compton go first, okay,
- 16:47Speaker 3: because I've got two in my head, but I need
- 16:50Speaker 3: I got three. Actually, I'm good to go.
- 16:51Speaker 1: How many do I need? Uh? Three? Three?
- 16:55Speaker 4: If you have more, you can just start throwing a
- 16:57Speaker 4: honorable mentions, right because this might turn into.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Like, oh oh yeah.
- 17:01Speaker 4: It is going to turn into that. Because it's hard
- 17:03Speaker 4: for me to think about all my celebrity crushes throughout life,
- 17:06Speaker 4: I do have some to jump out at me. I know.
- 17:09Speaker 4: I'll just say this for my Tier three. When I
- 17:11Speaker 4: was a young little boy, I loved uh Poison Ivy
- 17:14Speaker 4: in Batman Poison. I had the poster. I might have
- 17:18Speaker 4: kissed the poster a couple of times. I was young.
- 17:21Speaker 4: Yeah I was yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. My Tier two,
- 17:25Speaker 4: I'm gonna say to Panga from boy Beats World, massive
- 17:29Speaker 4: massive crush to and my Tier one. Listen, this is
- 17:33Speaker 4: this is Margot Robbie. This is the top spot Margot,
- 17:35Speaker 4: Margot Robbie, Wolf of Wall Street, Like.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Wait, how old are you? I was old like five
- 17:40Speaker 1: years ago.
- 17:41Speaker 4: Yeah, this is one where even with my wife married
- 17:44Speaker 4: has kids. Yeah, I have a wife. She knows I
- 17:46Speaker 4: love Margot Robbie. We might watch the Hall Pass movie
- 17:49Speaker 4: and I might be like, hey, Margot, Robbie, and she
- 17:51Speaker 4: might say somebody, Ah.
- 17:54Speaker 1: That would be hers. Like what would be like, hey, hell?
- 17:59Speaker 4: But that right? Have to shut it down.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Okay.
- 18:01Speaker 3: I heard Charles a lot of things about the guy
- 18:03Speaker 3: who hosted the Netflix show Battle Camp.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Have you heard that? I don't know that.
- 18:09Speaker 3: That's on Netflix. Yeah. I didn't get season.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Two, so good though.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Who is the host of the.
- 18:16Speaker 4: Yeah that's yeah, there he is. And I got to
- 18:21Speaker 4: give an honor will mention to Patty man aise from
- 18:23Speaker 4: Doug Mention Patty man as from.
- 18:26Speaker 1: My favorite cartoon growing up as a kid. Yes, sir,
- 18:29Speaker 1: Oh my god, yeah, Doug. Yeah, Yeah, it's Doug. Right.
- 18:37Speaker 1: They're saying Doug in the song they got.
- 18:43Speaker 4: I thought it was dud at the Maybe it is.
- 18:45Speaker 3: I think it's more of Google.
- 18:46Speaker 1: I feel like it was like, I don't know man,
- 18:49Speaker 1: I uheter yeaheter geter.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Oh yeah, mister miss please keep that microphone closer to
- 18:57Speaker 3: your face, just for just for everyone who's listening my
- 19:00Speaker 3: Tier three project. It does okay, some guys, that's okay.
- 19:04Speaker 3: That's why he's he's got a big of his microhone
- 19:07Speaker 3: because he's a popper as well, my tier three, and
- 19:11Speaker 3: I'm having a hard time kind of like putting these everywhere.
- 19:14Speaker 3: But Kerin Diaz Charlie's Angels growing up.
- 19:19Speaker 4: Oh I forgot Pamia Henderson.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Yeah, Pamela Anderson and the one we'll get her the
- 19:22Speaker 3: atto mention that can be for all of us, unless
- 19:24Speaker 3: you disagree.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I mean I didn't go yet.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, you're right. Oh Also, dude, I'm not even
- 19:32Speaker 3: knowing my own show. So after tear talk, we go
- 19:35Speaker 3: around the room and we give one word to describe
- 19:38Speaker 3: how we feel about the individual's tear talk. So for Will,
- 19:42Speaker 3: I'll say hyphenated spot on. Yeah, Mitchie, go ahead, good,
- 19:54Speaker 3: hyphenated roast Sparks.
- 19:56Speaker 4: I don't know what I'm saying. Welcome to the show.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Uh yeah, that's not that's too weird.
- 20:02Speaker 4: Solid, just solid, okay, mister.
- 20:04Speaker 1: And miss Fire, Oh there we go.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Very nice. So Cameron Diaz is my tier three. My
- 20:11Speaker 3: tier two is going to go to It's gonna have
- 20:17Speaker 3: to go to Topanga. It's gonna go to Topanga. From
- 20:19Speaker 3: Boy Meets World. I think every kid first off the show,
- 20:22Speaker 3: the lessons it teaches you incredible. Mister Feenie. On the
- 20:25Speaker 3: other side of the fence. But anytime Topanga walked into
- 20:28Speaker 3: that screen and that same hallway that with all the
- 20:32Speaker 3: locker rooms, or they're in the cafe, it's like, that's
- 20:35Speaker 3: our girl, that's our girl that we grew up with.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Hell do you are you?
- 20:37Speaker 1: Are you going to vote for her on Dancing with
- 20:39Speaker 1: the Stars.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Oh, I've kind of fallen off the PA since I'm
- 20:45Speaker 3: really going back in mine.
- 20:46Speaker 1: I understand, but this is your childhood. She's dance. She
- 20:48Speaker 1: needs your vote.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, so maybe I will.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Okay, it's a good point.
- 20:52Speaker 3: I need a support.

- 21:01Speaker 4: I don't know if I moved very well, but I
- 21:03Speaker 4: would love a great job. Yeah, you get some really
- 21:07Speaker 4: good training.
- 21:08Speaker 3: I feel like he's a unique white boy. My tier one,
- 21:14Speaker 3: I forgot who it is, Oh, Nordon, My tier one
- 21:20Speaker 3: is Mela Conez from that seventy show. I loved Mila Conez.

- 22:02Speaker 4: galto in the music video. I like the way you
- 22:05Speaker 4: move in that music video. There's a gal she's a
- 22:08Speaker 4: dark skin that I was into.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Who was the who's the girl? She's a super famous model.
- 22:13Speaker 3: She was in the uh everybody get out okay match.
- 22:18Speaker 3: I knew he'd fall for that one. Yeah, that one
- 22:23Speaker 3: that moved it around too, that moved it around.
- 22:26Speaker 1: That was the first time that you're like, wait, this
- 22:27Speaker 1: is a music video. Yeah, this is this is not peace?
- 22:32Speaker 1: This ar right, this is this is a little much.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Yeah. I remember also the first time the wap Up
- 22:39Speaker 3: music video came out and I saw it in the
- 22:42Speaker 3: locker room at the Titans with Russ Grim, who's our coaches,
- 22:44Speaker 3: like sixty five years old hall of Fame guy, and
- 22:47Speaker 3: watching that with all the guys, it was like, those
- 22:51Speaker 3: ladies are too much for me. I would not be
- 22:52Speaker 3: able to handle that in the bedroom. But it was
- 22:55Speaker 3: an aggressive deal.
- 22:56Speaker 4: That was Ani deal.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Yeah, do I get to go.
- 23:05Speaker 4: Making good? Shout out making good as well? Good God?
- 23:09Speaker 1: Miss all right, so all right my tear talk. All right,

- 23:16Speaker 1: or last? You know, I'll do third place? Third place.
- 23:20Speaker 1: I might be a little older than you guys, and
- 23:22Speaker 1: I think I am. So I'm gonna go with Saved
- 23:24Speaker 1: by the Bell, Kelly Kapowski, Amber Theeson. And since we're
- 23:30Speaker 1: going with cartoons, I mean you went Panty Banna's. I mean,
- 23:33Speaker 1: if you want to go with a cartoon, you go
- 23:35Speaker 1: with Jessica Rabbit.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Likes curves?
- 23:39Speaker 1: Do you not even know?

- 24:14Speaker 1: When I was a kid growing up, there was nothing
- 24:16Speaker 1: bigger than Baywatch, nothing bigger than Pamela Anderson honorable mentions.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I had posters of Chenaia Twain, my Walk and uh,
- 24:26Speaker 1: for some reason, Victoria silversit. I think I just found
- 24:28Speaker 1: that at the local Spencer's and I was just like,
- 24:30Speaker 1: this is a hot chick. Let's just put it up.
- 24:32Speaker 3: We can we get a picture of I don't even
- 24:34Speaker 3: know who that is, Victoria Silverson? Is that what it was?
- 24:38Speaker 1: Erico Lydiac was the first Playboy I ever saw.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Nice dude. There was a place down Eighth Aven. I
- 24:44Speaker 3: don't know how familiar of Nashville, but they have this
- 24:45Speaker 3: place called Cool Stuff. We were things And I walked
- 24:48Speaker 3: in there with my wife and I first met and
- 24:49Speaker 3: they had like five or six like shelves full of
- 24:53Speaker 3: like old Playboy vintage magazines and I bought like a
- 24:56Speaker 3: bunch of them for like twenty bucks. And it's like
- 25:00Speaker 3: different world back then in seventies. Yeah, a different world
- 25:02Speaker 3: back then.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Well decade, it's like, you know, I know, you got
- 25:06Speaker 4: we think. Yeah, I'm just gonna say, what was it
- 25:10Speaker 4: like in the magazine era?
- 25:11Speaker 1: Oh my god, I mean it was I remember a
- 25:15Speaker 1: time when there was an internet.
- 25:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Do you remember a time when there's no internet?
- 25:21Speaker 4: Like I remember? Yeah, I was young, Like what was
- 25:24Speaker 4: the year that.
- 25:24Speaker 3: The like six or sorry, nineteen ninety six or seven?
- 25:28Speaker 4: Yeah, around then, I'm like eight years old, seven, eight
- 25:31Speaker 4: years old, so.
- 25:31Speaker 1: I'm going into high school. Yeah, so, like I remember
- 25:35Speaker 1: the AOL and I remember like the dial up version
- 25:39Speaker 1: where it takes an hour just to do anything, Like,
- 25:41Speaker 1: I remember those days.
- 25:42Speaker 4: Can you make a mistake in a conversation? You sign out?
- 25:44Speaker 4: Re sign in? Hey I got hacked? Yeah, basically just
- 25:48Speaker 4: change your name to a bunch of lyrics or something.
- 25:51Speaker 3: Simple. Times back then too, man like this right here,
- 25:53Speaker 3: stating by that and having the foma of knowing all
- 25:56Speaker 3: your friends are online to.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Go outside and play. Yeah, that's what we did. Like
- 26:00Speaker 1: we played all day instead of being online all day.
- 26:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Well like video games, right, Nintendo sixty four guy, No,
- 26:07Speaker 1: I was an ORIGINALGA Genis. Oh my god, that was
- 26:13Speaker 1: the one for me. Like I liked it better than

- 26:16Speaker 4: Really, you're saying you like the Sagamore, right.
- 26:17Speaker 1: I like Sega Way, I like Sonic the Hedgehog. I'm
- 26:20Speaker 1: a big fan.
- 26:21Speaker 4: Were you did you play Madden on Sega where you
- 26:23Speaker 4: had to like double tap the buds When I was
- 26:25Speaker 4: the big Madden.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Guy, I was more of like a Mortal Kombat guy. So, like,
- 26:29Speaker 1: I liked the Sega Genesis version because there was blood,
- 26:32Speaker 1: and then the Super Nintendo didn't have blood, So I
- 26:35Speaker 1: like the the Sega Genesis.
- 26:37Speaker 4: They need to be crushed. When mom would tell you
- 26:38Speaker 4: we got to go take it back to best Buy,
- 26:40Speaker 4: what do you mean take it back to the video
- 26:43Speaker 4: game store?

- 27:02Speaker 1: remember that Turbo Graphics sixteen. No, Like these are like
- 27:05Speaker 1: very uh they weren't like as popular as the Nintendo's
- 27:08Speaker 1: or the Sega Genesis, but man they were the best.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Sixty four to this day is my favorite game console
- 27:13Speaker 3: of all.
- 27:13Speaker 1: And what's the game that you would get?
- 27:15Speaker 3: The game for me is a Super Smash brotherly huge
- 27:18Speaker 3: Super Smash guy. Loved play like I remember it was
- 27:20Speaker 3: a big big Link Kirby guy. And then I got
- 27:22Speaker 3: to college, and there's this kid named Jack Greenley who
- 27:25Speaker 3: like knew how to play with all the characters really well.
- 27:26Speaker 3: And I learned this character ness and I kind of
- 27:29Speaker 3: kind of became unstoppable.

- 29:38Speaker 1: every day.
- 29:39Speaker 3: And I don't know if I know this correctly, but
- 29:41Speaker 3: you met your wife while hosting a TV.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Show wweh So, wwe had a show called the Divasearch
- 29:49Speaker 1: where we'd find the next WWE Women Superstar and my
- 29:53Speaker 1: wife was a contestant. I was the host and our
- 29:56Speaker 1: first interaction was on TV and you can literally she
- 30:00Speaker 1: didn't speak English. She spoke French. Yeah, so she spoke zerous.
- 30:04Speaker 1: So imagine this woman coming from Montreal, spoke zero English
- 30:08Speaker 1: and she's trying out to be a WWE superstar. Yeah, Like,
- 30:11Speaker 1: how crazy is that? And then she goes in there
- 30:13Speaker 1: and she's like, I am going to give one hundred ten.
- 30:17Speaker 1: I'm like, whoa, I don't want this cookie cutter answer,
- 30:20Speaker 1: give me a real answer. I want the realize that's
- 30:22Speaker 1: actually it right there. And she was like, I don't
- 30:27Speaker 1: speak English, so I was like speaking French and then
- 30:30Speaker 1: she would give us these answers in French and like
- 30:32Speaker 1: you didn't you didn't know what she was saying, but
- 30:34Speaker 1: you knew what she was saying, right, I felt it.
- 30:36Speaker 1: But there was something there. There's always been something there.
- 30:38Speaker 3: So how does that process? Like, you're filming the show.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Obviously there's days and days of shooting. You're the host,
- 30:44Speaker 3: so you have to stay focused. But there's this beautiful
- 30:47Speaker 3: woman over there in the corner that's speaking French in
- 30:48Speaker 3: a telling you don't understand, but you're looking over her like, hey,
- 30:51Speaker 3: this could be something to read.
- 30:53Speaker 1: I think it could be something. I mean, I was
- 30:55Speaker 1: looking at her like, this girl's out of my league.
- 30:57Speaker 1: I don't think you. I don't think I could get
- 31:00Speaker 1: a woman like this. Yeah, I'll never forget. Like our
- 31:03Speaker 1: first date was she got signed to w she didn't
- 31:07Speaker 1: win the divsearch. She got signed to WWE. She was
- 31:10Speaker 1: down in developmental. She was coming up to the main
- 31:13Speaker 1: roster where I was, and so I invited her. I said, hey,
- 31:16Speaker 1: we're all going out after the show, because that's what
- 31:18Speaker 1: we do. We go out, find a place to eat
- 31:19Speaker 1: that's open at eleven o'clock, so that's when our show ends.
- 31:22Speaker 1: And so she went. We went to this pizza place.
- 31:25Speaker 1: She didn't sit at my table. She sad at another table,
- 31:27Speaker 1: which I thought was very intriguing. I was like, okay,
- 31:29Speaker 1: all right, all right, let's play. So then after the
- 31:32Speaker 1: place let out, everyone left and we stayed in the
- 31:34Speaker 1: parking lot and talked and we just talked. And by
- 31:36Speaker 1: the way, it was broken English, but I still understood
- 31:39Speaker 1: what she was saying. We had great conversation. And so
- 31:41Speaker 1: we started driving like we were like, it's getting late,
- 31:43Speaker 1: we need to go back to the hotel. And so
- 31:45Speaker 1: we started driving and I'm like, pull over, pull over,
- 31:48Speaker 1: And there was this like I don't know what you
- 31:51Speaker 1: want to call it, like an adult store. Yeah, And
- 31:54Speaker 1: I was like, I don't want to be in the
- 31:55Speaker 1: friend zone. I want to make sure this girl knows
- 31:58Speaker 1: like I'm a catch, like I'm I'm here to play,
- 32:01Speaker 1: you know. So we go into this place and it
- 32:03Speaker 1: was not it was like in Wichita, Kansas, you know,
- 32:06Speaker 1: and it's not like not the classiest place you'd want
- 32:10Speaker 1: to say. Yeah, I mean it was a little rough. Yeah.
- 32:15Speaker 1: You walk in, there's like gags. I'm like, oh my god.
- 32:17Speaker 1: And I was like she was just like I'm like, uh,
- 32:21Speaker 1: get into that or that?
- 32:23Speaker 3: What about that ship?
- 32:25Speaker 1: That?
- 32:26Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 32:26Speaker 1: Like I'm trying to. I'm trying to. You want to
- 32:28Speaker 1: play chess, you want to play checkers, Let's go we
- 32:32Speaker 1: go outside. We go outside, and we ended up talking
- 32:35Speaker 1: for like I would say, like until our plane, until
- 32:38Speaker 1: we like until the morning came and we went straight
- 32:41Speaker 1: to the plane. And I remember I got off my
- 32:43Speaker 1: flight and went straight to a Barne and Noble and
- 32:45Speaker 1: got like because we didn't have du Lingo back then,
- 32:47Speaker 1: I got like a book that tried to teach me
- 32:50Speaker 1: how to speak French because I was like, I got
- 32:51Speaker 1: to learn French. I mean, if I can only get her.
- 32:53Speaker 1: I remember telling myself, I only get a girl like this,
- 32:55Speaker 1: I'd be truly happy. And then there I am got away. Yeah, man, French,
- 33:00Speaker 1: huh did you learn some French? I'm trying. I'm still
- 33:03Speaker 1: trying to. I mean, I like, I'm on day one
- 33:06Speaker 1: thousand on dou Lingo and it is not I mean,
- 33:09Speaker 1: I can read it. I can read some of the stuff,
- 33:11Speaker 1: but it's hard to talk about it. And the reason
- 33:12Speaker 1: I wanted to start really where I really started being
- 33:15Speaker 1: like I need to speak French is when I got
- 33:17Speaker 1: daughters and I was like, wait a second, they're not
- 33:19Speaker 1: gonna hear us speak French in the household, so they're
- 33:22Speaker 1: not going to pick up French because my wife only
- 33:24Speaker 1: speaks French with her mom and she speaks English now.
- 33:27Speaker 1: So I was like, man, I need to start picking
- 33:29Speaker 1: it up so my daughters pick up French. It's like,
- 33:31Speaker 1: it's amazing what you'll do. Like you're like, ah, my wife,
- 33:34Speaker 1: I'll learn a bit of we we go on, you know,
- 33:39Speaker 1: I mean, I'll learn that stuff. But then for the kids,
- 33:41Speaker 1: it's like, all right, I gotta I gotta start hammering down.
- 33:44Speaker 1: So I'm trying, but it's very difficult.
- 33:46Speaker 4: Are the kids doing better than you are?
- 33:48Speaker 1: No? I mean they know they're I mean, but also
- 33:50Speaker 1: they're they're five and seven, right, so they there, they
- 33:54Speaker 1: know they're one, they know they can count to twenty.
- 33:56Speaker 1: They can they can have a couple of lines here
- 33:59Speaker 1: and there, but they're not fluent like i'd want them
- 34:02Speaker 1: to be.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Right right, I feel like they're gonna pick it. Like
- 34:04Speaker 3: I have two daughters as well, eight and five, and
- 34:06Speaker 3: my oldest is learning Mandarin. My youngest way, yes, where
- 34:10Speaker 3: she takes a class like with a teacher via zoom
- 34:13Speaker 3: essentially like twice a week. And she's like learning about it.
- 34:16Speaker 3: She's obsessed with like China, Like she.
- 34:19Speaker 4: Wanted to guess Chinese chese the Chinese.
- 34:23Speaker 3: Yeah, she's obsessed with it. It's like it started with
- 34:24Speaker 3: dragons and started high to chain your dragon, and then
- 34:26Speaker 3: she figured out that dragons are big in like the
- 34:28Speaker 3: Chinese culture, so she'd becme upsised with the Chinese culture.
- 34:30Speaker 3: And then she's like, I want to learn Mandarin.
- 34:32Speaker 1: We're like, all right, dude, you know who speaks Mandarin?
- 34:34Speaker 3: Who?
- 34:34Speaker 1: John Cena? No?
- 34:36Speaker 3: I think I didn't know that.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Actually, I was actually just telling a story about this.
- 34:41Speaker 1: People are like, what's one thing that you remember that
- 34:43Speaker 1: you don't always remember about John Cena? And I remember
- 34:45Speaker 1: us being on a European tour and he had flash
- 34:48Speaker 1: cards and like like a child in elementary school, and
- 34:52Speaker 1: on one side was Mandarin, on the other side was
- 34:54Speaker 1: the English version. So he was practicing his Mandarin on
- 34:57Speaker 1: the European tour like and I was like, what are
- 34:59Speaker 1: you doing? He like, I wanted to learn Mandron and
- 35:01Speaker 1: uh so ww A has this program where if you
- 35:04Speaker 1: want to learn a language, they'll they'll pay for it all.
- 35:06Speaker 1: So he's like I took him up on the offer.
- 35:08Speaker 1: I thought it'd be great to learn Mandarin. Uh, And
- 35:11Speaker 1: so he knows it, and so I will never forget
- 35:13Speaker 1: watching train Wreck and him speaking Mandarin. I was like,
- 35:16Speaker 1: that's improv right there, because I know he knows Mandarin,
- 35:19Speaker 1: and it's like that he's improving right there.
- 35:21Speaker 3: No, that is so awesome.
- 35:22Speaker 4: Yeah, he seems well put together, dude, very well.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Together, he does. I learned a lot from him. Yeah,
- 35:29Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 35:29Speaker 3: When you're coming up through the ranks at the WWE,
- 35:32Speaker 3: is that the guy you look at and you're like,
- 35:33Speaker 3: that's the kind of career I want to have.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Yeah. Of course when I was coming up, he was
- 35:37Speaker 1: the top guy. He was in like WWE champion, and
- 35:41Speaker 1: I got to be on live events, live events meaning
- 35:43Speaker 1: non televised shows that we have and we have tons
- 35:46Speaker 1: of those, right and or we did, and so I
- 35:49Speaker 1: got the opportunity to actually work in a ring with him.
- 35:52Speaker 1: And I don't know about you guys in football, but
- 35:54Speaker 1: when you work with a person that is an above
- 35:57Speaker 1: and beyond different level than you are, especially for an
- 36:00Speaker 1: up and comer, like I imagine rookies in NFL come
- 36:02Speaker 1: in there and they think they know everything. They're all like, yeah,
- 36:05Speaker 1: I can block, I can, I can do everything you know,
- 36:07Speaker 1: and then you're like, dude, you don't have any idea
- 36:10Speaker 1: what you're doing. And then you take that guy aside
- 36:12Speaker 1: and you show him. You see the light bulb go
- 36:14Speaker 1: off and you're like, oh wow, and the guy becomes
- 36:16Speaker 1: a sponge. That's what I felt like I was to
- 36:18Speaker 1: John Cena. I got in the ring with him and
- 36:20Speaker 1: he was like, listen and I'm like, I'm listening to
- 36:22Speaker 1: the audience. I hear them chanting, you suck. He's like,
- 36:25Speaker 1: you're not listening. You're not listening to him, You're not
- 36:28Speaker 1: hearing them. And so he taught me how to actually
- 36:31Speaker 1: hear an audience and what to do with that audience.
- 36:35Speaker 1: And that's one of the biggest things that I've learned
- 36:37Speaker 1: from John Cena is how to listen to an audience,
- 36:40Speaker 1: hear an audience, and know what to do with that audience.
- 36:42Speaker 4: Yeah, is there like a is there an example that
- 36:45Speaker 4: you can call to that you could you could practically
- 36:48Speaker 4: like show us or tell us, like the audience is
- 36:50Speaker 4: doing something. You might have thought one thing, or maybe
- 36:52Speaker 4: you weren't hearing it at all, and it's like, oh,
- 36:54Speaker 4: when the audience is doing this, but if.
- 36:55Speaker 1: The audience was doing nothing, what if the audio you
- 36:58Speaker 1: you come out and the audience is hired. They've been
- 37:01Speaker 1: watching three hours of wrestling. They're tired. They just had
- 37:05Speaker 1: a huge, a huge segment where the rock comes out,
- 37:08Speaker 1: Stone called Steve Austin comes out, and they're just they're
- 37:11Speaker 1: just exhausted. And now you have to come out and
- 37:14Speaker 1: you're in a match that's a cold match that no
- 37:17Speaker 1: one like. It's literally like you're in a feud with
- 37:19Speaker 1: a guy that literally just happened today, and it's like,
- 37:22Speaker 1: we're just gonna have this match. We have to get
- 37:24Speaker 1: the crowd up and at them. So how do you
- 37:26Speaker 1: get that crowd up? And am? You have to hear them?
- 37:28Speaker 1: You get to listen them. Okay, when I first walk
- 37:30Speaker 1: out into the arena, I'm listening, I'm hearing a crowd.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Where are they at? Should they be higher? Should they
- 37:35Speaker 1: be lower? Do I need them? Where do I need
- 37:36Speaker 1: them to be? So then when I get in the ring,
- 37:38Speaker 1: I start listening and just hearing who they're who they're
- 37:41Speaker 1: cheering for, what they're doing, and then yeah, it's it's
- 37:44Speaker 1: literally like listening and being like, okay, what did this
- 37:46Speaker 1: does this crowd need Does he need to pick me up?
- 37:48Speaker 1: Do they need to slow it down? It's all like,
- 37:50Speaker 1: what's it?
- 37:51Speaker 4: What's what's like your rolodex of like pick me up.
- 37:53Speaker 4: So if you hear like a dead crowd or something.
- 37:55Speaker 1: I hear a dead crowd. Sometimes it's like, uh, an
- 37:58Speaker 1: easy one is just a baby face hits the ring
- 38:01Speaker 1: and you just blow up, blow them up and just
- 38:02Speaker 1: start beating, beating the holy hell out of them, and
- 38:05Speaker 1: it's like, oh, whoa, and you just you do big stuff,
- 38:07Speaker 1: like you know, you throw them on a table, boom,
- 38:09Speaker 1: you throw them into the barricade, boom, throw them into
- 38:11Speaker 1: the stairs, boom. Oh my, oh oh oh what is
- 38:15Speaker 1: going on? And it's like, oh what this guy is beating?
- 38:18Speaker 1: This guy's up. I want this guy. And then they'll
- 38:19Speaker 1: start cheering. They'll be like, come on, come on man,
- 38:22Speaker 1: you got this?
- 38:22Speaker 4: Yeah, you know. And then if the crowd's high, is
- 38:25Speaker 4: it like.
- 38:27Speaker 1: I'm riding the way the crowd is like really into
- 38:31Speaker 1: the good guy and I'm the bad guy and they're there,
- 38:34Speaker 1: I'm at the I think they're at the top. I
- 38:36Speaker 1: think they're at the top. I'm gonna shut that baby
- 38:37Speaker 1: face down because I'm gonna get them down, and then
- 38:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna build them back up and build them back
- 38:42Speaker 1: up and make them want to see a baby face,
- 38:44Speaker 1: as we call come back. I want they want to
- 38:47Speaker 1: see like if I'm if they're at their highest, they're like,
- 38:50Speaker 1: he does a flip to the outside, boom nails me.
- 38:53Speaker 1: The crowd is going, oh my god, this is awesome.
- 38:56Speaker 1: This throws me back in. I cut them off, I
- 38:58Speaker 1: beat them up, boom boom. And now maybe I just
- 39:02Speaker 1: start taunting the crowd. Yeah that's your hero, that's who
- 39:05Speaker 1: you like. That's who you like. And now you'll start
- 39:07Speaker 1: hearing the crowd, yeah that is who I like. Leave
- 39:09Speaker 1: them alone, man, leave them alone. And then they'll start
- 39:12Speaker 1: doing a slow chant and it's like, okay, they're starting
- 39:14Speaker 1: to come. Now I gotta give him a little more
- 39:15Speaker 1: because the crowd is like getting if you if the
- 39:19Speaker 1: crowd starts cheering for the guy, you got to give
- 39:21Speaker 1: him something. Gotta give him something. So it's like, yeah,
- 39:23Speaker 1: you have him blocked my punch. Booom boom boom boom boom.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Oh oh shut him down again until they're ready for
- 39:30Speaker 1: the big triumphant comeback of a good guy babyface. So
- 39:34Speaker 1: that's kind of like.
- 39:35Speaker 3: God damn science out here.
- 39:37Speaker 1: I allowed to talk about this because it's like we
- 39:38Speaker 1: have a show on Netflix called Unreal where we just
- 39:41Speaker 1: unleashed everything and we're like, hey, we have writers that
- 39:44Speaker 1: that help us write everything. Like and I love the
- 39:47Speaker 1: show on Netflix, the Unreal because it really shows people
- 39:51Speaker 1: exactly what we do. People are just like, oh, this
- 39:53Speaker 1: is easy, I could do that, or I can do that.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Then you get him in yeah, yeah, or a choreograph
- 39:57Speaker 1: or whatever. But and then it's like you get him
- 40:00Speaker 1: in the ring and they're like, whoa, this is a
- 40:02Speaker 1: lot different than I thought it was gonna be. Yeah,
- 40:04Speaker 1: Like we're we're always talking in there, We're always trying
- 40:06Speaker 1: to figure things out. It's you know, it's it's hi.
- 40:09Speaker 1: I love it because it's it's an art form that
- 40:12Speaker 1: it's unlike anything else. And I always thought that WWE
- 40:15Speaker 1: has prepared me for everything in entertainment, right, Like you
- 40:19Speaker 1: need me to host a show, I can do it.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Why because I've been literally in a live crowd one take.
- 40:25Speaker 1: You don't get any other takes. We're just live. We
- 40:27Speaker 1: don't have we don't have teleprompters, we don't have guys
- 40:30Speaker 1: holding a sign to give us art. We have our
- 40:33Speaker 1: whole promo and everything in our minds, in our heads,
- 40:35Speaker 1: and by the way, sometimes it changes. Sometimes you go
- 40:39Speaker 1: out into an audience and they're just not feeling that
- 40:41Speaker 1: promo and you need to figure out how to wake them.
- 40:43Speaker 4: Up right, you know, like things aren't going according to
- 40:46Speaker 4: playing weather.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Yeah, And it's like the bad guy can turn good guy.
- 40:50Speaker 1: You might be in bizarro world where you go to
- 40:53Speaker 1: like Europe, and I mean in Europe, I'm usually the
- 40:55Speaker 1: bad guy. I walk out and they're cheering me and
- 40:58Speaker 1: they're singing my song and I'm like like, well, this
- 41:01Speaker 1: is interesting. Now we could either I can make them
- 41:03Speaker 1: hate me or we could go with this. And usually
- 41:06Speaker 1: it's like I look at the guy across from me
- 41:08Speaker 1: and I'm like, does this guy, this guy, can he
- 41:11Speaker 1: get it right?
- 41:15Speaker 4: You know?
- 41:15Speaker 3: What's the chemistry between the two of you?
- 41:16Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. And so then you look at each other
- 41:18Speaker 1: and you're like, all right, let's do it, and you
- 41:19Speaker 1: can you could feel the energy and you can feel
- 41:21Speaker 1: it like and it's fun. That's what makes it fun.
- 41:24Speaker 1: It's like it's improv.
- 41:25Speaker 3: When you when you walk into a ring and you
- 41:27Speaker 3: think they're gonna hate you, but they end up loving
- 41:28Speaker 3: you and you look at the guy. Does that change
- 41:30Speaker 3: the outcome of what's going to happen for you? Guys?
- 41:33Speaker 1: We always want to make sure that our stories are
- 41:35Speaker 1: told right. We have a we have a set plan
- 41:37Speaker 1: because we have pls you know, where we are leading
- 41:41Speaker 1: to a certain type of match. But there have been
- 41:43Speaker 1: times where things have changed. You never know what's gonna happen.
- 41:47Speaker 1: With a live audience and a live show, things change
- 41:50Speaker 1: like that, you know. I mean there were there were
- 41:53Speaker 1: times where I was going to be a w w
- 41:55Speaker 1: E champion and then I was told like hour before yep,
- 41:58Speaker 1: it's not gonna happen.
- 41:59Speaker 4: No, yeah, and why is that?
- 42:03Speaker 1: Certain things certain things happen right, So, uh I remember
- 42:08Speaker 1: there was like I think Sampunk left the show and
- 42:12Speaker 1: he took the title with him. So they made up
- 42:15Speaker 1: I guess, a paper champion, I guess or whatever, like
- 42:17Speaker 1: they brought a championship and said, hey, if he's leaving
- 42:20Speaker 1: the show, he's gone. He put the title and refrigerator
- 42:23Speaker 1: like that was the big meme. Uh So they're going
- 42:25Speaker 1: to have a tournament and I think I went up
- 42:28Speaker 1: against Ray Mysterio and I was going to beat Ray Masterio.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Then I was going to beat John Cena and I
- 42:34Speaker 1: was going to be a champion, and then they switched it.
- 42:37Speaker 1: Because usually we like babyface versus heel right, bad guy
- 42:41Speaker 1: versus good guy, but then in this certain instance back
- 42:45Speaker 1: especially back then, it was been Babyface versus Babyface, Ray
- 42:49Speaker 1: versus Sina, and they were like, ah, you need a
- 42:51Speaker 1: bad guy versus a good guy. So I was the
- 42:54Speaker 1: bad guy. But then it was like, well it's too
- 42:57Speaker 1: huge monumental Babyface? Is that? Are Ray? Mysterio and John Cena?
- 43:02Speaker 1: Let them go at it, and I think Ray ended
- 43:04Speaker 1: up winning that title. But yeah, there was a moment
- 43:07Speaker 1: there where I was going to be I would have
- 43:10Speaker 1: been a double champion there.
- 43:11Speaker 3: So if you go it's an hour before the show starts,
- 43:14Speaker 3: it's obviously very exciting, whether it's written or not, that
- 43:16Speaker 3: you're going to be the face of what this franchise.
- 43:19Speaker 3: And then somebody has to walk into them. A suit
- 43:21Speaker 3: walks into a room and says, actually, we've changed the script.
- 43:23Speaker 3: This is what's now happening. How are you handling that? Internally?
- 43:27Speaker 1: If someone told me you're the guy and then they
- 43:29Speaker 1: told me you're not the guy, I'm more of a
- 43:32Speaker 1: person that I was like, all right, I'll make them
- 43:33Speaker 1: believe I'm the guy. Yeah, you give me. I'm the
- 43:36Speaker 1: type of person that if you give me ten seconds
- 43:39Speaker 1: on a television show, I am going to make sure
- 43:41Speaker 1: that you remember those ten seconds. No matter what is
- 43:46Speaker 1: dealt to me, I will make sure it's remembered. You
- 43:49Speaker 1: can give me any type of line and I will
- 43:51Speaker 1: make sure or I'll do my best to do it.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Sometimes I fail, sometimes I succeed, right, you know. So
- 43:57Speaker 1: it's kinda like that.
- 43:59Speaker 4: Yeah, do you see a lot of of examples of
- 44:01Speaker 4: guys who don't handle the politics of it when something
- 44:04Speaker 4: like that happens, they don't handle it.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I mean it happens. I mean they're usually whenever.
- 44:10Speaker 1: I mean it happens all the time. Where you believe
- 44:13Speaker 1: your story should go a certain way, it's in your head,
- 44:16Speaker 1: but the big you know, the execs are looking at
- 44:21Speaker 1: it and going that's not what we want, that's not
- 44:23Speaker 1: where we're going with this. Like, I'm always pitching ideas always,
- 44:27Speaker 1: even right now, I'm in year twenty and I'm always
- 44:31Speaker 1: pitching ideas, always, trying to elevate myself and elevate the
- 44:35Speaker 1: company as a whole and sometimes I'm in there their
- 44:38Speaker 1: stories and sometimes I'm not. And it's my job to
- 44:41Speaker 1: make sure that they never forget me, never forget that, Hey,
- 44:43Speaker 1: who I am and where I am and what I'm
- 44:45Speaker 1: going to do for this company.
- 44:47Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that's us crazy. I was the Vince McMahon
- 44:50Speaker 4: went on Netflix where you see the kind of unfoldings
- 44:53Speaker 4: of like hul Cogan and then you see the Brett
- 44:55Speaker 4: Hart stuff go down. It's just like, man, it is,
- 44:57Speaker 4: It's a different world on the inside of the W.
- 45:00Speaker 3: I wish I. So we talked about this all the
- 45:02Speaker 3: time on the show, Like Will grew up watching WW
- 45:04Speaker 3: a lot, and it's like, I think a massive piece
- 45:06Speaker 3: that I missed in my childhood because I didn't. I
- 45:08Speaker 3: never get to like invest in I hear Will get
- 45:11Speaker 3: all my guys like George Kittle and they start just
- 45:13Speaker 3: like growing out over it. I'm over here sitting in
- 45:15Speaker 3: the on the sidelines in the dark room, being like,
- 45:18Speaker 3: I wish I knew what they were doing.
- 45:19Speaker 4: You grew up in the Midwest around those adult stores.
- 45:22Speaker 4: It was like, yeah, the adult stores, you had the NASCAR,
- 45:25Speaker 4: you had WW Right, Bill Goldberg trying to stay undefeated
- 45:29Speaker 4: wcw WWF at the time. Then it transitions, but yeah,
- 45:33Speaker 4: we we love to grow. Now we interrupt this episode

- 46:52Speaker 3: use code busting to get twenty percent off. Let's get
- 46:57Speaker 3: it in this episode twenty years ago, when you're getting
- 46:59Speaker 3: into this game, what is that process like for you?
- 47:02Speaker 3: Like the events?
- 47:04Speaker 1: These guys even know this the real world? Yeah, it's
- 47:07Speaker 1: in your notes, but do you know the real world?
- 47:09Speaker 1: Did you grow up watching it?
- 47:10Speaker 4: In the real World? Road Rules? I would watch, I
- 47:13Speaker 4: would watch those I knew of Real World, but it
- 47:16Speaker 4: wasn't like glued to it like a lot of you
- 47:18Speaker 4: got the knees audience that like loves all the reality
- 47:20Speaker 4: TV stuff.
- 47:21Speaker 1: So back in the day and like I would say,
- 47:24Speaker 1: the late nineties early two thousands, real World was the show.
- 47:29Speaker 1: MTV was the network. Believe it or not, it was
- 47:33Speaker 1: the network, and it was TRL. It was Real World,
- 47:36Speaker 1: it was road Rules, it was the challenge. It was
- 47:39Speaker 1: where every teen and you know, twenty something wanted to
- 47:44Speaker 1: be It's where, it's what you you watched, and I
- 47:47Speaker 1: got the opportunity. I remember I was in college. I
- 47:49Speaker 1: was at Miami of Ohio at a Theta Chi fraternity,
- 47:54Speaker 1: my fraternity, and I was watching the show and they said,
- 47:58Speaker 1: do you want to try out for the Real World.
- 48:00Speaker 1: It was like Real New Orleans season nine, and I said, hell, yeah,
- 48:03Speaker 1: I want to try out for that show. So I
- 48:04Speaker 1: tried out and I went through a bunch of auditions.
- 48:08Speaker 1: I'm talking. I had a fifty page application asking everything
- 48:11Speaker 1: anything about my life. Back then, we didn't have cell phones,
- 48:14Speaker 1: so they would call you and you'd put on a
- 48:16Speaker 1: speakerphone and you'd have a camera with a VHS like
- 48:19Speaker 1: tape in it and you'd press record and you'd talk
- 48:22Speaker 1: to that camera while they're asking you questions, and you'd
- 48:25Speaker 1: send that VHS tape back to them and then they
- 48:29Speaker 1: would watch it. Yeah that's that, Like, that was how
- 48:33Speaker 1: we did it. Yeah, that's how we did it, you know.
- 48:37Speaker 1: So then I went through I would say, like five
- 48:41Speaker 1: interviews and got on to their casting special, which was
- 48:45Speaker 1: the first time ever they brought Real World and road
- 48:47Speaker 1: Rules twenty eight people only thirteen were going to make
- 48:49Speaker 1: it seven on Real World, six on road Rules. You
- 48:52Speaker 1: didn't know which one year are going to be on
- 48:53Speaker 1: if you made it at all. So by the end
- 48:55Speaker 1: of the three days, I made it onto the show
- 48:59Speaker 1: and I did the Real World. Created a character called
- 49:02Speaker 1: the miz WWE Superstar because I thought I was at
- 49:06Speaker 1: least I didn't had any plans of being a wrestler
- 49:08Speaker 1: at all. I didn't think I could. I was six
- 49:10Speaker 1: foot nothing, two hundred nothing pounds, like I wasn't like
- 49:13Speaker 1: this tremendous athlete I could play, but I wasn't like
- 49:18Speaker 1: this above and beyond. There's just no way, Like I
- 49:20Speaker 1: couldn't be the Hulkgan or the Ultimate where the rock
- 49:23Speaker 1: Stone called Steve Boston that there's no way, right, So
- 49:26Speaker 1: I just created a character. I thought it would be funny,
- 49:29Speaker 1: and once I created the character, it kind of took
- 49:31Speaker 1: off and I was like, man, when I remember leaving
- 49:34Speaker 1: the show, like when it was done, it was like
- 49:37Speaker 1: six months of filming. I paid really nothing. I would
- 49:40Speaker 1: have done it for free anyway, just because of the experience.
- 49:43Speaker 1: Went back home to Cleveland, and I remember staring at
- 49:45Speaker 1: myself in the mirror and going what am I going
- 49:47Speaker 1: to do for the rest of my life? Like, am
- 49:48Speaker 1: I going to go back to Miami, Ohio and have
- 49:50Speaker 1: business classes that I can't stand that I'm basically getting
- 49:53Speaker 1: d's and failing out? Or am I going to pursue
- 49:55Speaker 1: something that I truly am passionate about? Because where I'm
- 49:59Speaker 1: from and I don't know, maybe Midwest. Like where I'm from,
- 50:02Speaker 1: it's like you go to high school. After high school,
- 50:03Speaker 1: you go to college. After college, you go back to
- 50:05Speaker 1: where you're from, and you get a job, and that's
- 50:07Speaker 1: what you get a family, and that's what you do
- 50:09Speaker 1: for the rest of your life, and that is your
- 50:10Speaker 1: life that's set out for you. And so that was
- 50:13Speaker 1: my trajectory. But going on the real world made me realize,
- 50:17Speaker 1: maybe I don't have to do that. Maybe I could
- 50:19Speaker 1: do something different, Maybe I can do what I want
- 50:21Speaker 1: to do.
- 50:22Speaker 4: Maybe I don't have to be a pe coach. Yeah.
- 50:24Speaker 1: So I said, you know what I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 50:28Speaker 1: find a wrestling school and I'm going to go and
- 50:31Speaker 1: train to be a professional wrestler. And everyone laughed at me.
- 50:34Speaker 1: My dad was like, you are not doing that. You're
- 50:35Speaker 1: going to college. You're going back to college. You're staying
- 50:37Speaker 1: in Cleveland, and I'm like, no, I'm going to move.
- 50:39Speaker 1: So I got on a challenge right after the real world.
- 50:43Speaker 1: Once I got on the challenge, I won that challenge
- 50:46Speaker 1: and made fifty thousand dollars. I used that fifty thousand
- 50:49Speaker 1: dollars to move the Los Angeles. Got a wrestling school
- 50:52Speaker 1: that I paid five thousand dollars I believed for. I
- 50:56Speaker 1: went into improv classes at Groundlands and Improv Olympics. I
- 50:59Speaker 1: got an acting coach. Uh. And so I was trying
- 51:02Speaker 1: to find all the tools that would get me to
- 51:05Speaker 1: where I wanted to be with WWE. Right and also
- 51:08Speaker 1: I try to find a nutritionist. I was going to
- 51:10Speaker 1: Gold's Gym Venice because I thought that's what the big
- 51:12Speaker 1: boys play, right, Yeah, that's how I get big, you know. Uh.
- 51:16Speaker 1: So I didn't get big. I mean I got fat
- 51:19Speaker 1: because I was just trying to eat as much as
- 51:20Speaker 1: possible to get because I was two hundred pounds I
- 51:23Speaker 1: needed to be. I thought, like, you had to be
- 51:24Speaker 1: two sixties pure, said muscle, How do you get that?
- 51:27Speaker 1: Back then, you didn't have all this information about you
- 51:30Speaker 1: gotta get your macros in and you gotta we didn't
- 51:32Speaker 1: macros back then, you know, you just ate like burritos
- 51:36Speaker 1: or whatever.
- 51:37Speaker 3: Just to get jims Venis beach. You're also have a
- 51:39Speaker 3: syringe in your hand. You're like, hey, we're gonna figure
- 51:41Speaker 3: out that.
- 51:41Speaker 1: That's one thing I never got into though, So I
- 51:43Speaker 1: was just like, I just these guys must be I
- 51:45Speaker 1: thought it was like, and this is dummy me, right.
- 51:47Speaker 1: I thought they were just eating more you know.
- 51:52Speaker 3: Also like to eighty of just pure muscle. Yeah, gotta
- 51:55Speaker 3: be the protein that it got to be. So okay,
- 52:00Speaker 3: so you go, you move there.
- 52:02Speaker 4: He was on with the Theo. Yeah, like he really
- 52:05Speaker 4: doesn't talk about he doesn't, does he He doesn't talk.
- 52:09Speaker 4: It's really interesting.
- 52:10Speaker 3: So us trajectory of life is incredible to see.
- 52:12Speaker 1: I remember his first stand up really so his I
- 52:16Speaker 1: remember when we were on a bus and we were
- 52:18Speaker 1: on Battlest Sex. Battlest Sex is part two, I think,
- 52:23Speaker 1: or Battle the Season's part two, something like that. It
- 52:25Speaker 1: was one of those ones where we were in New
- 52:28Speaker 1: Mexico and we were going to a club and we
- 52:30Speaker 1: had this bus and we had a microphone and people
- 52:32Speaker 1: were doing karaoke, and I remember THEO telling us like
- 52:37Speaker 1: that year He's like, yeah, I'm starting up comedy. And
- 52:39Speaker 1: we were all like comedy, like stand up comedy, good
- 52:43Speaker 1: for you, that's great, and we were like, do your
- 52:45Speaker 1: stand up, do your stand up, come on THEO. And
- 52:48Speaker 1: no one thought he would actually get up and do it.
- 52:50Speaker 1: But he got up, got on the microphone in our
- 52:52Speaker 1: bus as we're going to a club, and did his
- 52:56Speaker 1: stand up. And I remember it like it was one
- 52:58Speaker 1: of those ones wh you you guys might never know this.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Do you remember the collect calls commercials? And he would
- 53:06Speaker 1: talk about how dirty the collect calls were. It's like
- 53:09Speaker 1: dial down the center. Yeah, he would do all these
- 53:12Speaker 1: like things that were like about the collect calls and
- 53:15Speaker 1: the commercials that were going in and I can't remember
- 53:17Speaker 1: all the things, but it was a dirty joke on
- 53:21Speaker 1: the collect calls and everyone was everyone was dying laughing
- 53:25Speaker 1: because he wasn't like the THEO you see. I mean
- 53:28Speaker 1: there were there were there were hints of it, right,
- 53:31Speaker 1: but the THEO you see now is just like his
- 53:33Speaker 1: mind is just it's whoa, it's out there and the
- 53:36Speaker 1: way he's exactly but you didn't see that's that. You
- 53:41Speaker 1: knew it was funny, but it developed and he trained
- 53:45Speaker 1: himself into that you know what I mean. I mean,
- 53:47Speaker 1: I feel like comedy, football, any type of thing that
- 53:50Speaker 1: you want to be successful at, you have to train
- 53:53Speaker 1: your brain into it and you just don't grow up.
- 53:55Speaker 1: I mean, you could be funny stand ups, a whole
- 53:57Speaker 1: different art.
- 53:58Speaker 3: It's a whole different ball game.
- 53:59Speaker 1: Yeah, and he's he's done amazing with it. And I
- 54:03Speaker 1: can't tell you a better person to do it, because
- 54:06Speaker 1: THEO not only was he hilarious, but he was one
- 54:09Speaker 1: of the first people I met because he was remember
- 54:11Speaker 1: the show I said, uh where was a casting special?
- 54:14Speaker 1: He was the host of it, and so he was
- 54:16Speaker 1: one of the first people I got to talk to
- 54:18Speaker 1: about it and gave me amazing advice about what I
- 54:22Speaker 1: should do. He's like, just be yourself. If you start
- 54:25Speaker 1: playing up a character, they'll be able to see through
- 54:28Speaker 1: it because they're filming you twenty four to seven. So
- 54:30Speaker 1: a lot. That's a lot, a lot of reason why
- 54:32Speaker 1: people in real world don't like what they see on
- 54:35Speaker 1: the edited version. They're like, oh, they edited me wrong.
- 54:37Speaker 1: It's like, nah, you played a character. You didn't play you.
- 54:40Speaker 1: And if you don't play you, it's like your barstool stuff.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Like when you guys were doing that stuff. If you
- 54:45Speaker 1: guys are just yourselves, you're not going to get screwed
- 54:47Speaker 1: over because it's hard to edit something that you are.
- 54:50Speaker 3: Ye, if you in the lane aime, sorry.
- 54:54Speaker 1: The barstool stuff, I don't.
- 54:55Speaker 5: Know, no no, no barolotely watching the thing with you
- 54:59Speaker 5: guys on it, I thought you guys are gonna win
- 55:00Speaker 5: by surviving, it seemed like.
- 55:07Speaker 3: And so I've never obviously I'm made a joke about
- 55:09Speaker 3: the hosting a relation ship, but I've never done reality TV.
- 55:11Speaker 3: Will did it the year before and won, and going
- 55:14Speaker 3: into it, I was so naive to all the other
- 55:16Speaker 3: games being played and I was thought.
- 55:18Speaker 1: Oh, did he educate you?
- 55:19Speaker 3: He did, but I guess like I just didn't take
- 55:23Speaker 3: it upon myself too noodle like getting to other people's business.
- 55:26Speaker 3: I was like, oh my my squad seems really tight,
- 55:29Speaker 3: and then.
- 55:29Speaker 4: I want too many moves too early, and it's like.
- 55:33Speaker 3: Hey, we got we can't be see to me, I
- 55:35Speaker 3: was like, let me make this impact quick because I
- 55:37Speaker 3: know Jersey Jerry. He was he was my first kill
- 55:40Speaker 3: of the of the show, and I was like, I
- 55:41Speaker 3: need to get this cat out because it's like.
- 55:49Speaker 1: And then the bandwagon will happen knowing what I know now, happen.
- 55:52Speaker 3: Knowing what I know now, there were multiple people that
- 55:53Speaker 3: were like Taylor, and I was able to without knowing,
- 55:57Speaker 3: like get Jerry and get people on Jerry, and I
- 56:00Speaker 3: might have been out even sooner than that. If if
- 56:02Speaker 3: if I didn't like speak up a little bit, inevitably,
- 56:05Speaker 3: it ends my demise was always forecasted. It was always
- 56:09Speaker 3: going on.
- 56:09Speaker 1: So I played these games, and I've got to host
- 56:12Speaker 1: these games. And I remember we did a we did
- 56:14Speaker 1: a show where on MTV that was a challenge based
- 56:17Speaker 1: show where you would take on the challenge. The people
- 56:19Speaker 1: that actually do the challenge they all stars versus celebrities.
- 56:24Speaker 1: Celebrities didn't have a chance because they don't understand the intrigues,
- 56:28Speaker 1: like the ins and outs of the game. If you
- 56:31Speaker 1: don't understand the it's a game, you have to play it.
- 56:35Speaker 1: And if you're not playing it and you're not involved,
- 56:37Speaker 1: you're not gonna win. Like I watch all these like
- 56:39Speaker 1: these reality shows like Traders, like I'm like I can
- 56:42Speaker 1: win that, no doubt in my mind, like all of them.
- 56:45Speaker 4: You watch them, bro, I haven't seen Traders, though I
- 56:48Speaker 4: watched was million dollars. It just came out on Netflix.
- 56:53Speaker 4: It came out a little bit after Battle Camp.
- 56:56Speaker 3: I think, I know you're talking about like someone's like
- 56:57Speaker 3: someone has.
- 56:58Speaker 4: A million dollars, you know, the the guy God. I
- 57:02Speaker 4: hate that. I'm blinking on this. Can you look it up? Sure?
- 57:05Speaker 4: Million Dollar Secret? Did you see that one?
- 57:08Speaker 1: Bro?
- 57:08Speaker 4: You would like that one. That's another like game within
- 57:10Speaker 4: the game. I love that, like Werewolf the card game
- 57:14Speaker 4: or Mafia. Some people play that game, like all those
- 57:16Speaker 4: little I don't know. Those strategy games are a lot
- 57:19Speaker 4: of fun. Risk. We love Risk.
- 57:21Speaker 3: That's twenty twenty, when the whole COVID thing was going on.
- 57:24Speaker 3: I was in California training. We would just get high
- 57:26Speaker 3: and stay up to like two in the morning playing Risk.
- 57:28Speaker 1: Within and we were just getting like your training and
- 57:31Speaker 1: you're just.
- 57:31Speaker 3: Getting Yeah, we were training. I put my kid to sleep,
- 57:34Speaker 3: I had to get a little cooked up, and then
- 57:35Speaker 3: we play like three games of Risk.
- 57:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 57:37Speaker 3: And we played on Xbox Xbox Live and so we'd
- 57:40Speaker 3: all be on our controllers just talking trash, having a
- 57:42Speaker 3: good time. It was so much fun.
- 57:44Speaker 4: That's us.
- 57:46Speaker 3: That was us. Earlier this year. Comrade Willie over there.
- 57:49Speaker 4: Dude, would you would you play Surviving Barstool.
- 57:53Speaker 1: Would I play it?
- 57:54Speaker 4: I think we don't know. They're wanting to do a
- 57:56Speaker 4: celebrity one.
- 57:57Speaker 1: So the problem the problem with those those games are
- 57:59Speaker 1: they allow phones. They don't allow like it's it's it's
- 58:02Speaker 1: a big like it's it takes a long time to
- 58:05Speaker 1: film a show, you know, it's Surviving, it's.
- 58:08Speaker 4: All done a week.
- 58:09Speaker 3: Bro, is that in a week and it comes out
- 58:11Speaker 3: two months later? They do Rob? Yeah, Rob, he does
- 58:17Speaker 3: an amazing job. Yeah, of like handling everything and yeah,
- 58:20Speaker 3: after the challenges, we have our phones.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Oh really Like the things about Traders that were like, yeah,
- 58:27Speaker 1: you're out there for fifteen days. You know, you get
- 58:28Speaker 1: to talk to your kids. And if you do talk
- 58:29Speaker 1: to your kids, like it's it's a person has to
- 58:31Speaker 1: watch you do it. I'm like, yeah, it's not happening.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Not a chance. And ol, I need to talk to
- 58:37Speaker 1: my daughters every single day, Like yeah, I'm I know
- 58:41Speaker 1: you guys are girl dads, but like, what is that?
- 58:43Speaker 1: What has that been like? You know, raising girls?
- 58:46Speaker 4: Dude? Incredible? Incredible man Like like Rue, she's very right
- 58:50Speaker 4: now she's three, she's very intense with her emotions. It's
- 58:53Speaker 4: been great for myself just I grew up. It was
- 58:56Speaker 4: me and two other brothers.
- 58:57Speaker 1: My mom.
- 58:58Speaker 4: She you know, a lot of like boy energy, handling
- 59:01Speaker 4: us and everything else. But being like.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Your emotions, is that the PC version of whining all
- 59:06Speaker 1: the time.
- 59:06Speaker 4: She gets she's a whiner, but she's very much she
- 59:08Speaker 4: feels all of her emotions in like a big way.
- 59:11Speaker 4: So like having to communicate with a three year old
- 59:13Speaker 4: like in the trenches has been very much a learning
- 59:16Speaker 4: experience for myself. And then Scotti Joe, she's ten months old.
- 59:19Speaker 4: She's just a little She's like Michael Parson's on third down.
- 59:22Speaker 4: She's scrambling everywhere, all over the floor right now. But
- 59:24Speaker 4: it is, it is. It's the best feeling in the
- 59:27Speaker 4: world being a girl.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Dad, did you educate him at all about a three
- 59:30Speaker 1: year old?
- 59:31Speaker 3: Yeah? No, I think we've kind of played the games
- 59:33Speaker 3: of like, Okay, she's three. This is like I remember
- 59:36Speaker 3: when Rue was born, because I had my oldest I
- 59:40Speaker 3: might have yeah, I already had Willows, well, so I
- 59:43Speaker 3: had both my kids. It was almost like the first
- 59:44Speaker 3: six months are kind of a grind, grind because you
- 59:46Speaker 3: don't really understand the talent.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Yeah, six months to a year and a half you're
- 59:50Speaker 1: in a good spot.
- 59:51Speaker 4: You're in a good spot.
- 59:51Speaker 3: But it's like around that six month mark is when
- 59:53Speaker 3: you see the smile and they recognize you when you
- 59:55Speaker 3: come into a room, and that's when you're like, you're
- 59:57Speaker 3: obviously in as a father, but that's when you're like,
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: I get I, I one hundred percent understand what the
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: feeling everyone's talking about it. So if you don't feel
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: it right away, that's perfectly fine. For my kids. Like,
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: my oldest daughter is she's eight years old, and she
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: just recently got a book. She was at this like
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: fair and just at a park a week ago, and
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: there was a girl who was nine years old that
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: was selling a book that she wrote herself, and my yeah,
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: how cool is that? So my daughter buys the book.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Weird, where do you live? Your daughter's learning Mandarin? This
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: nine year old's writing books?
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: Yeah? My kids, who my kids are the best. My
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: kids are the best. But like when my oldest she
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: gets this book and she's like, you can tell, like
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: truly inspired. So now my win has written four chapters
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: of her own book in the last week and a half.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: Of these three kids, she's like, it's a ratedar story.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: Daddy and oh, what's righted r Man. She's like there's
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: guns and I'm like, okay. The story starts with these
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: three girls. They are in this car. The mom leaves
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: out of the gas station. Someone starts shooting up the car,
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: so the nine year old gets in the car drives off.
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: They end up in this boat in the island. They
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: meet with these other kids. They find their dad. Like,
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: she's telling me the story and I'm reading the words
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: and like some of them are misspelled, but like when
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: she reads it, it's like it's fluid because it's like
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: how her brainessing the words and it's awesome. And she's
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: taking piano lessons now where she wrote a theme song
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: for the book, like because she's begging to Harry Potter,
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: so she hears the Harry Potter theme song. She's like
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: written notes and plays the theme song. It's incredible on piano.
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: On piano, and this is like eight. Yeah.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: She plays.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: She's not like, you know, it ain't Mozart, but she's
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: out there. She working like she she understands the keys.
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: Do you play No, dude, I'm a front man. I
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: I can you know I can give you I'm a
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: front man. But and then my my my youngest daughter.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: Like I think the second is really unique because they
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: watch the oldest and they want to like they kind
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: of fall in line with the oldest and follow whatever
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: they do. It's really cool to see my youngest daughter
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: find her voice and start to find like her own interest,
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: what she likes to do, where she likes to be dependent,
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: where she likes to be independent. And it's like I
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: was literally having breakfast with my oldest daughter this morning
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: and I was like, I think I'm in like peak
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: dad mode right now. And I've said this a bunch
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: of times in the pod, and she's like, what does
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: that mean. I was like, we're already decorating for Spootober.
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: We're already getting ready for like October first is to
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: kick off to the holiday season, so we got a
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: whole bunch of stuff going around the house. I'm like,
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: I was like, dude, in like three years, you're not
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: gonna care about this, Like you might be like me
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: that like doesn't care then comes back to it, but
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: like you're fully invested. She doesn't know about Santa just yet,
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: but like she's all about Santa still. So it's like
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: the position I'm in as a father it's like knowing
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: that you're in the good old days while you're in them,
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: because right now it's like it's the fucking best, dude,
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: it is all time. Yeah, that's a win right there,
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: my wife and then I'm holding my youngest daughter right there.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: But uh yeah, man, I got five and seven and
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: I uh, it's a lot, Like I want to be
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: there as much as possible. With with WW, I travel
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: a lot. So I wonder what the grind was for
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: you guys in football. I mean you get to go
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: home though every day.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: You know him every day like he had his kids
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: after football. For me, it was yeah, like you just know,
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: those six months are a blur and you try to
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: be as good with your time as possible about like
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: being present when you can be. But like when I
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: when I was playing, it was like I'm always thinking
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: about the rusher I'm going against, the defense I'm going against,
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: and how I played last week, how can I play
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: better this week? So it's very difficult to be present
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: all the time because you know, you say you've been
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: doing WW for twenty years, It's like there's like three
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: guys that's ever played twenty years in the NFL, And
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: like you know, like it's such a finite amount of time.
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: So my wife did a did an amazing job of
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: like getting times, like, hey, we're gonna be together at
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: this time. She knew the schedule inside and out. But
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: it was Yeah, it's tough, man, especially when you're in it.
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: And one thing that I think a lot of people
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: don't talk about is after the season, when the season
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: ends and you're so used to kind of everyone catering
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: to you and you're now in an off season where
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: now I'm integrating back into our family's livense. But they
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: have the routine, they had, the things they.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Do, yes, and no one ever talks about talks.
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: About it, and it's like there would always be like
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: friction between me and my wife, like between week one
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: and week three of like the off season, because like
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: I'm trying to find my way back in. They're very
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: comfortable about like seeing me rarely, but like and so
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: like I kind of bulldozed my way into it, and
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: so that's a very difficult time to get into it.
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: Once you get into February March April, it's like, Okay,
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: everything's smooth sailing, but it's a it's a grind. I mean,
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: you understand.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I know exactly what you're talking about.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Like I every week it's that though, Like it's like
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: I leave for a day or two and then I
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: come back and then I'm like, let's go, let's go,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: let's go, and it's like we have a routine here, yeah,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: like but this is our routine, this is what we do.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: And I come in and I just ruined that routine.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: And kids need routines, they need their there, so you
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: don't want to ruin that. But also you want to
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: make sure that like I try to create moments, like
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: capture moments like yesterday we went to like a water
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: park and we were there for six hours and I
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: thought this, this was really cool. I got home and
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: I wanted to watch football, right yeah, sat down. I
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: was like, ah, my dad, my kid comes up, and
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: you want to play. And one of my rules is
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: if my kid asked me if I want to play,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: yes is always the answer yes I want to play,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: because they're not going to ask that when they're twelve thirteen,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: they're gonna be like I don't want to, I don't
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: want to. Ham maybe they'll have conversations you're gonna exactly
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: so I'm like, how many more of those do you
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: want to play?
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: Do you?
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: They always want to wrestle me because I like they
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: like or not shocking, right, It's okay, So it's not
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: just that I'm a wrestler.
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: When I come home, my youngest saughter goes, Daddy, we
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: want to catch these hands. Get in the bedroom and
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: I take them and I just throw them all over
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: our faster bedroom. And I'm like, I'm throwing them in
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: the air.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Now, does your wife go? Stop playing so rough with that.
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: There's there's been we probably wrestled, let's just say, one
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: hundred times in their lives. There's been thirty five times.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: Tears happened. But they got to find out who they
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: are every time.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: But they but they I remember I used to play
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: with my uncle Nick, and my uncle Nick was like
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: professional boxer, like really rough, and I remember my mom
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: always going, Nick, you're playing too rough with him? Would
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: cry cry, But I remember those times, and I remember
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: even though I was crying then, like I remember them
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: fondly and like like I remember smiling and happy and
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: and every time I see my Nick, I'd try to
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: like wrestle him and like it. So I remember those times.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Even though I was crying every time I wrestled him,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: it didn't matter. So like when I'm with my daughters,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: I don't make them cry, obviously, but like tears do
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: happen sometimes because we play rough. They like they want
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: to play rough. They don't like they're like, Dad, you're
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: playing you're playing too light. Throw me, And it's like,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: all right, there you go. There's your throw. There's your
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: throwing me by my legs. My wife's like, you're gonna
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: pour her legs off. There are kids.
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: I talk about the ultimate gaslight on my oldest. We
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: were in Canada and like I was tossing her and
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: like two or three tosses, she got hurt and it
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: was like a lot of tears and I'm like, honey,
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: like this is you want to play like this? You're
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: going too hard. You're going too hard. So I would
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: take my five year old and I would just throw
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: her to the headboard like a bunch of pillows.
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: Don't get into it.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: She love it. And then my oldest I pick her
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: up it high in the air and I start to
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: throw it down and I catch her and gently put
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: her on the bed. She's like, no, that's that's not enough.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: But I did that for like two three different wrestling sessions,
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: so the pot were she's like screaming up and she's
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: like that's enough. Like I'm like, all right, let's find
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: out who we are. Then you want it, then let's
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: do that.
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: This is what you wanted.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: Yeah, but it is like I'm i'm I'm I have
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: no idea what it's like to have a nine year old,
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: but I'm figuring out what it's like to have an
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: eight year old and I've had a five year old,
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: and like it's the best.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it is, It truly is. And like I always
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: teach them the first thing that if they say we
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: win wrestle, I was like, lock up. It's like and
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: that taught them how to lock up. But then I
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: also go, all right, now choke me, like you have
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: to choke me out, like and it's not like but
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: it's like I want them to learn if someone's picking
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: on them and someone is that I want them to
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: be able to choke a person out because it's not
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: you're not punching, you're not hurting yourself. You literally you
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: duck under and you boom.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: Put it on a doing any martial arts or anything like.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Yeah. So I was watching like a podcast and I
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: heard Dana White say something about jiu jitsu, and so
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: he was like, he was like, like a little girl
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: can take down a three hundred pounds man. And I'm like,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: come on, it's like if they had the right technique
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: and they know how to do it, like they can
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: do it. So I got my daughters into jiu jitsu
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: because I was like, I want my daughters to be
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: able to take care of themselves. And I also think
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: confidence level of knowing that you have the confidence to
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: take care of.
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: Yourself the ability we need yourself. Yes, yeah, we started
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: doing the same thing. I saw that podcast as well,
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: and I was trying to like really press organized sports
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: sports and I was talking to my oldest and I'm like, hey, listen,
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: your dad he did it. He's kind of you know,
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: you got the genes. Basically, I was giving her the
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: talk like if you want to play the sports, you
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: can do it and you can get a scholarship. Blah
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: blah blah. I'm trying to explain title nine er the
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: whole thing, and she kind of sits back. We're watching
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: playoff by she said, she sits back she's like, you
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: know what, then I think I'm just going to be
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: me And I was like all right right then and there,
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: like competitive like team sports kind of died. That's okay,
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: but they have to do something. So I got them
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: into jiu jitsu, and it took a little bit of
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: time for them to really get into it, but once
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: they got that first stripe on their belt, they're locked in.
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: They are all about it. I did the bribe, Hey,
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: every time you win, I get you a dollar. But
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: they're like they're about it now.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: So was it crying before going? Like I don't want
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: to go. I don't want to go because that's too busy,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: like playing with stuff, and it's like and you are like, okay,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: you know what. They don't want to do it, right,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: But then it's also like do they because when they're there,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: they they're having so much fun, but getting them to
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: the place is so difficult, and it's like I'm I'm
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: like more strict on that, like where it's like, no,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: if we're doing this, I gotta give them a like
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: do you want to do jiu jitsu? Yes? Okay, if
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: we do this, you have to do it. You can't
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: just quit. You have to do it for one ye
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: out and I'll tell you what if after the class
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: you don't want to do it anymore, you don't have
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: to do it anymore. And usually after the class, I
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: was like, do you guys want to do it? And
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: they're smiling, they're happy they just took a boy down.
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah. They're like they're like, do you want to
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: do it tomorrow? Yes? Yes, And then the same thing happens.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: I don't want to go. I don't want to go.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: We're going. And if I tell you what if afterwards
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: you don't want to do it, we don't have to
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: do it, right, It's always the same.
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: It's always it's always yes after I always struggle with that.
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: And I remember being a freshman in high school. I
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: got like a lot of trouble in middle school, and
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: I was a freshman in high school. It was summer
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: workouts a group in Arizona, and so it's like you know,
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: one hunter and whatever degrees, and they have like the freshman,
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: the JV and the varsity. They're all we're all like
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: kind of doing camp drills, and uh, I'm like this,
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: like I'm not like fat, but I'm like shapely I'm
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: a Shapeley and like Mike from Monsters, Inc. And uh,
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: I'm I'm dying. I've never had this difficult condition in
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: my life. So I go up to my dad who's
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: in the stands, and I go, I'm done. I don't
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: want to play football. I want to quit. And my
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: dad gets up and he's like, all right, you want
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: to quit. Gout to the guy in the visor. And
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: the advisor was a guy named Chad D. De Grenner
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: who was the head coach of the varsity team. And
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: my dad says, he goes, sits in the car and
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: he just waits for two more hours. I come back
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: in and he just says there he goes, Buddy, I
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: just want you to know what it's like on the
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: other side, Like if you're going to do something, you
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: have to do it. And I mean without that conversation,
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: if you walked up and quit, it's like we're not
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: all sitting here. And it's like one of those things
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: you look at your kids and like when they're crying
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: and they're having a meltdown and my wife's like, do
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: they really have to go? It's like, no, they don't
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: have to go, but they should go because they committed
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: to doing something, and it's like you just want them
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: to get to the other side. And once they got
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: that stripe, that's like, oh, I've had a little bit
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: of success here. Now it's like, when's jiu jitsu next?
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: And that's when it's it's like getting fun with in.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: That regard to Yeah, it's like gymnastics now too, Like
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: gymnastics and jiu jitsu is what they've been into. I
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: got him in the sock. I tried to get him
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: into every sport just to see what connects and clicks right,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: And so far that the gymnastics and jiu jitsu has
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: been the two that they have taken to.
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I'm with you guys. It's like if you're
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: if you're going to commit to something, and then if
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: they're having like if Ruth's having a breakdown about something,
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: it's more of just like, hey, this is what we do.
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: You said you wanted to do this, you know, give
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: her the whole confident speech, like you're like, this is
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: how we show up, this is how we're going to
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: do things. If at the end of it you don't
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: want to do it or you want to quit after
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: said CEO, like she's not old enough to be in seasons.
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: But if at the end of the day you don't
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: want to do it, we don't have to do it anymore.
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: But if you said you're gonna do this, like this
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: is how we show up. This is what we do
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: because I agree. I feel like a lot of the
- 1:12:16Speaker 4: times they just might be doing something in the moment
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: and it's like, well, they don't know what it looks
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: like unless you teach them, and like the world's gonna
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: be hard. That's just how however it is. It's like
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: you can micro manage your kids as much as you want,
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: but at some point they're gonna have your principles, your
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: foundational thinking, like once they step out into the world
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: and you want them to know like, hey, you might
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: not want to do this today, but if you're somebody
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: who you know keeps your word, you keep your commitment,
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: like you'll think the right way. Like once you get
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: to that age and it's like, hey, this is how
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: we're going to do it. If you say yes, like
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: you keep your word, we're going to show up. So
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: if those are like the foundational things, because it's hard
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: when the crying, it's like, I mean, they are just
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: three four or five, like they don't have to, but
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: it's like, ah, is it because I kind of don't
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: want to go either? Or then you start to have
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: that self talk with yourself. It's like no, they need to.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Have littel talk every day. Like literally, there has never
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: been something so confusing in my life than parenting. It's
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: just every time I'm out there, I'm like, am I
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: doing the wrong thing? Like is the reason she's crying
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: is because she really doesn't like it? Or she's just
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: having a meltdown? And sometimes that happens, you know, maybe
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: she really does, but then she's smiling now, so it's
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: like wait, and then I'm like going in my head,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: I'm going, how can I do this? Okay, how can
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: I develop her confidence? Because I want her to be
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: a confident, you know, strong individual, you know, and smart
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: and fun and and and everything that you want like
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: your daughters to be you want them to be. And
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: how do you guide them? You can't give them everything? Yes,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: you just say yes everything. Then you're like, oh man,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: I'm just giving them everything and they don't learn.
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: They're like false confidence where you just lay it up
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: for him. It's like, oh, that was awesome. That you
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: keep it and then you're kind of just hoping that
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: it works out again the next time.
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: Are you familiar with the monosaur teaching?
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Yes? So not not yes and no, like we looked
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: into it.
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: Right, well, is that what you were actually homeschooling for
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: the first time this year?
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: How is that going?
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: Buddy rave reviews at this point? Like I told you
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: about god no okay teaching, yea yeah. If if I'm
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: doing the teaching call CPS, like my kids are not
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: going to be equipped. But we have a teacher that
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: was actually at the monastery school and she wanted to
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: do like a homeschool and that's what she did in
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: the past, and she was like up in Minnesota, came
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: down and it has been awesome. And for me, it
- 1:14:28Speaker 3: was always like it's the social it's the extracurriculars, Like
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: you have to have enough of those. So like, you know,
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: I think we all grew up with you see a
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: couple of homeschool kids and you're kind of like, yeah,
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: stand the social cube portion, but so far I I
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: rave reviews about it.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: What made you change?
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: It was always a conversation that took place when my
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: oldest was born, and I think I was more resistant
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: to it because I came from the public school system.
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: I think social like social interactions and understanding social cues
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: are way more important than like your traditional like how
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: much do you know about the Revolutionary War unless that's
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: what you want to go into. And then as we
- 1:15:04Speaker 3: got farther and farther in, it's like you just want
- 1:15:06Speaker 3: to make the right decision. And then it's like, Okay, well,
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: my I making the right decision for my kid or
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: for myself because I'm worried about what my kid might
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: be if they do this. But like at the other day,
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: like we spend more time with our kids there like
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: last year, my kid wasn't writing a story and like
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: writing her own theme song to the story, which is
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: something that's extremely new, but like it's an opening space
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: for them to be more creative in a world where
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: the nine and like the nine to five is what
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: we all grew up. It's like, you know, you go
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: to high school, year of college, then you get a job,
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: and then you die. You married and die. It's like,
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: now there's so many different things you can do in
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: this world, and there's so much access to learn those things.
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: It's like, Okay, what are you most passionate in that's
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: a nurture that while checking the boxes, we have to
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: check from an educational standpoint and get you where you
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: truly want to go in life and be the person
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: that you actually want to be.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Does she get to go to see her friends? Like
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: does she have like where does she meet friends?
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: So there, we do jiu jitsu, we do those art classes,
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: we do the men but that's that's online and then
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: then piano lessons are all in a group setting as well.
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: But it's like she's got like five to six good
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: friends that were constantly circulating play dates on making sure
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: I having there's a neighbor girl that is over every
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: single day when when schools up for her. So the
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: social part, I think they're getting done. I think as
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: we get older we'll press it a little bit more.
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: But like both my kids, like when we go to
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: a park, it's not the nervous shy, it's the who
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: are you? What's your name? My name so and so
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: this is old I am. They're very like forward and
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: like willing to make a fool out of themselves. And
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: I mean that in a positive way. But the monastory
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: thing I was talking about before was the whole good
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: job thing. Like one of the core values of Monastori
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: is like self like self reflection, So like when a
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: kid finishes a drawing, instead of being like, oh, that's
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: so great, good for you, it's like, how do you
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: feel about it? And then have them be like, I'm
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: proud of this. Because of this, that gives them the
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: sell validation to be like, oh, well, my opinion matters
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: more than what other people people's opinions matter. And so
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: I just think it's it's a really cool kind of
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: way of going about things.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: And do you feel like they're keeping up with uh
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: most kids or do you feel like they're going down
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: or up or maybe even higher.
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: So we started Montassory with the September, like we started
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: at the like the middle of August, so to know
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: all that, I mean, check in with me at the
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: you know, end of the year, sure, and then I'll
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: I'll have a better idea. But what I've seen from
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: my kids, they seem much more engaged, much more like
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: excited to talk about what they learned at school than
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: they were when I pick them up from school. So
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: I feel like it's trending in the right direction.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: I have a hard time to like I'll be like,
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: how like I try to not do the how it
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: was your day? It's like what was your favorite part
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: of the day. Yeah, they don't know. Yeah, Like I
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: was trying to do all the right like lingos. Yeah
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: I know. I'm sitting there.
- 1:17:44Speaker 4: Doom scrolling on Instagram because there's so much good parenting
- 1:17:47Speaker 4: stuff on Instagram. Like, as I'm sitting there watching it,
- 1:17:51Speaker 4: Dad is a great show.
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: You can go check.
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: This is basically for the Dad's hosted by the Miz right.
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: Right, yeah, yeah, the chat here it is no doubt,
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: but yeah, it's a I was nervous about the homeschooling thing.
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: I love it right now and it could change it
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: any point. But I just think more time with your kids,
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: like why why not that they're at.
- 1:18:10Speaker 4: So we started uin school this year, Like we've had
- 1:18:13Speaker 4: several of the days where she doesn't want to go
- 1:18:14Speaker 4: to school, which I kind of enjoy because it's like
- 1:18:16Speaker 4: you get to do all the same kind of conversations
- 1:18:18Speaker 4: of like you know, not talking and or going, but
- 1:18:20Speaker 4: essentially like talking or into going. It's like, oh, all
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: your friends are waiting this that the other. But so
- 1:18:25Speaker 4: she just started Monsori school this year, it's been what
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: I love it. I feel like they do, you know,
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: with the monasory stuff. Again, I was a public school kid.
- 1:18:34Speaker 4: There wasn't really any monossory around where I grew up
- 1:18:36Speaker 4: in good old bond Ter, Missouri. But it's like really
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: like tribal to where they're setting their spot when they
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: all eat, whether they snack time or lunchtime, like they're
- 1:18:48Speaker 4: setting their table, they're cleaning up after themselves, they're learning.
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: It's like working with it with the kids, like the
- 1:18:54Speaker 4: manners and who's going who's doing this, who's doing that,
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: Like everybody's helping out and they gravitate more to It's
- 1:19:00Speaker 4: like the kids interest which I haven't gotten to go
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: to a like an observation class where they'll have the
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: parents come in you get to kind of watch them
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: throughout the school day. I think we do that here
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: in a couple of weeks, which I'm excited about. But
- 1:19:11Speaker 4: it seems to be going awesome. Man Like, she seems
- 1:19:13Speaker 4: to be making friends, Like they play outside a lot.
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: It sits on like like I don't know how many acres,
- 1:19:20Speaker 4: like in the ten to twenty on acres to where
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: they get a lot of outside time they get their
- 1:19:24Speaker 4: rest time, they're doing a lot of things. That's where
- 1:19:26Speaker 4: it's like them self helping themselves and they get guided,
- 1:19:29Speaker 4: uh to what their interests are guided to. Hey, if
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: you got to go to the bathroom, you're you know,
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: you're more well equipped to do it on your own,
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: not having the Hey if you can wipe, you can wipe.
- 1:19:38Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: I've seen to enjoy it. I think she's having a
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: good time with it. And I also it's like, uh,
- 1:19:43Speaker 4: I enjoy when she's in all these other set like
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: other settings to where somebody else can be their like
- 1:19:49Speaker 4: authoritative figure, to where she's more uncomfortable being away from
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: being away from myself. I know, like even as a dad,
- 1:19:55Speaker 4: I get really nervous every time I drop her off
- 1:19:57Speaker 4: to do some whether it's gymnastics because now she'll now
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: she does ballet to where it's more class, where the
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: parents aren't in there. I myself find myself just being
- 1:20:05Speaker 4: sad or like what is she scared? What if she
- 1:20:07Speaker 4: doesn't fit in? She's shy at first, but she I
- 1:20:10Speaker 4: hope she has a good time to where I also
- 1:20:12Speaker 4: it's like my wife and I love those conversations with ourselves,
- 1:20:15Speaker 4: Like hey, you know, even though this adult might not
- 1:20:17Speaker 4: have said a thing that we would want them to say,
- 1:20:19Speaker 4: they're going to be around all these authoritative figures throughout
- 1:20:21Speaker 4: their life. Like it's good to get them, you know,
- 1:20:24Speaker 4: adapted to those things. But we've seen like she comes home,
- 1:20:27Speaker 4: she talks about school, she talks about her friends, she
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: tells us about her day. Uh, they seem she seems
- 1:20:32Speaker 4: to be doing well there. So we've had a good
- 1:20:33Speaker 4: experience so far. But we're only like a month in, OK,
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: But we've enjoyed it. It's been it's been fun, and
- 1:20:39Speaker 4: I kind of look forward to the chaos in the morning.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Proper school, which is the best school? I want number one?
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: I want the best best, And it's like all right,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: and you're you're already thinking like, uh, is she can
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: go to college? Like I don't know, I want her
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: an opportunity to go to college. And Montossori schools. Can
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: they go to college? That I'm learning that too, Bro.
- 1:20:58Speaker 4: They go they go pretty deep in the grades. And
- 1:21:01Speaker 4: it's like I sit there again, all I've known is
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: the public school system, and it's like, you know, I'll
- 1:21:05Speaker 4: sit there and I'll be like I turned out all right, Yeah,
- 1:21:07Speaker 4: And I came from Bontare, Missouri. Like, I'm sure you know,
- 1:21:09Speaker 4: it doesn't necessarily matter. She's going to go to a
- 1:21:11Speaker 4: school somewhere here in Nashville. But parents are pretty like
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: dialed on. If I'm talking to a parent, like an
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: adult and they're like, oh, where you thinking about your
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: kid going to school? And I'm like, dude, I have
- 1:21:22Speaker 4: no fucking clue. Like you might need to you know,
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: you got to get in early, you gotta do this.
- 1:21:27Speaker 4: Have no clue, bro, I'm I'm.
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: Sure when you grew up, it was like you go
- 1:21:30Speaker 3: to school at five, like that's kindergarten, and then if
- 1:21:33Speaker 3: there's a daycare someone that you go to the daycare.
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: But like here in Nashville, it's like there are kids
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: in school at eighteen months years old? What eighteen yeah,
- 1:21:39Speaker 3: not years, eighteen months and you're just like what are
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: we what are we talking about here?
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: I feel like those be more like the daycare or
- 1:21:46Speaker 4: like what is it called.
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: Day the monastery school that my kids were at before
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: they started at eighteen months, and I was getting the
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: same conversation that you were getting where it's like, hey,
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: where are they going to school? Well, she's two and
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: a half nonw you should probably get her in before
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: otherwise they might they might have a lot of area
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: or all these different things, and it's like, bro, like
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: we can't just like put them in a like, hey
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: go to school now five. You know, it's kind of
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: like a it's a it's a wild thought process.
- 1:22:10Speaker 4: So because when you're a small town, it's like you
- 1:22:12Speaker 4: got the one school. Yeah that everybody else to, Well,
- 1:22:15Speaker 4: they're on that side of the line. They got to
- 1:22:16Speaker 4: go to Park Hills.
- 1:22:17Speaker 3: Can I ask you a question? Yeah, so you win
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: fifty thousand dollars, you moved to LA, you get an
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: acting coach, improv coach, you're doing all the things, putting
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: yourself in a position for the WWE. You're in Venice
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: Beach at the Gold Gym. What happened to get you
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: in WWE?
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: Uh so, good question. Uh So they had a show
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: We'll go back to MTV. Yeah, so MTV had a
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: show called Tough Enough where you could win a WWE
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: contract if you win the show. So I wanted to
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: try out, but back then you couldn't be on two shows.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: You couldn't be on Real World road Rules Challenge and
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: then beyond tough Enough. So they wouldn't let me do
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: the show. But then cut to three years later, after
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: training in learning the art of professional wrestling, trying to
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: at least, I was trying to go to Japan because
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: I've heard like that's where you can really, you know,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: learned a different style, Like Japan has a different style
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: than what WWE is. There's different styles everywhere, Like Lucha
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: Libre is Mexican, that's very that's a whole different style
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: as well, so there's different style. So I was like,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: maybe if I learn, you know, the artirofessional wrestling here
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: in California, then I'll go to Japan and they'll bring
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: me over to Japan and I would do like things
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: called dark matches, where you go backstage and you kind
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: of start meeting people backstage, and you might get a
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: dark match, which is the match before the show even airs,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: so they can see you and test you out. I
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: never got one of those because I just wasn't like
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: they weren't looking for me. And then finally three years later,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: after all that, I got asked to do Tough Enough,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: which was not going to be on MTV. It would
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: be on the CW during SmackDown, and I was like
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: I was like, I've been trying to do the show,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: but they wouldn't let me. It's like, there's gonna be
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: fifty people. If you make the top eight, then you
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: will be on the show. I'm in. So I had
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: to go to Venice Beach. They had this, they had
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: a ring setup, they had an obstacle course, and I'll
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: never forget Build de Mott's like, oh, the real world guy.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: And by the way, being on the real world, you
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: might be like, oh, that must be like a good thing, right,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: like you already have a notoriety, you have people watching you.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: None WWA. That was more like, no, you don't belong here.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: You shouldn't be here, We don't want you here. You're
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: just I mean, when you're on a reality show. You
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: back then you were in no talent hack. You weren't.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: You were just on what you can be filmed and
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: you're good on television. People didn't realize, like it does
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: take and there's a special thing to being on a
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: reality show. You have people that are wallpaper that literally
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: you never ever see, and you have people that are
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: the star of the show and you need those stars.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: And so people didn't realize that. I don't think back
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: then maybe producers and that kind of stuff, but like
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: not you know, when I was trying out. So I
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: try out and I remember being going onto this obstacle
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: course and it almost felt like they were trying to
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: get me out cause it was like, what's your time
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: going to be? And I was like and back, and
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: I think it was like under like two minutes was
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: unheard of, Like no one's even come close to being
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: under two minutes. And I was like, Oh, I'm just
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: gonna do my best. What's your time going to be?
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: And I'm like I know what they're doing right now,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: Like they're going to make me say under If I
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: say three minutes, you know that's not fast enough. Two
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: and a half, it's not fast enough. Well that's it,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: that's it, that's all you're gonna say. I was just like,
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: I'll go under two. And they were like, ah, no
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: one's been under two. There's no way you're gonna do that.
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: Did the obstacle course got under two like one fifty
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: seven and they were just like whoa. And then I
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: got in the ring and I started cutting promos and
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: they were like oh okay, And so I made it
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: onto the show. Now once I made it on the show,
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: they were trying to almost make it quit. We would
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: have to do five hundred bumps, which is bumps is
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: like standing in the middle of the ring and landing
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: flat on your back, just flat on your back, flat
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: on your back, flat, like five hundred of those. Then
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: you'd have to do flip bumps where you do uh
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: kind of a one eighty and land on your back. Uh.
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: And then so so one guy ended up did did quit,
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: And it just felt like the entire time they were
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: just trying to It was like, can you withstand what
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: we're getting putting you through, because we're going to give
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: you I was on the million dollar you know you're
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: gonna win a million dollars.
- 1:26:27Speaker 3: Yeah, it sounds like a hell week, like a Navy
- 1:26:28Speaker 3: Seals hell week, one.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: Hundred percent, but it was. It was. It was the
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: hardest thing, and so I made it all the way through,
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: got second place, didn't win. The fans voted and they
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: voted Daniel Peter uh the the winner. But honestly, that
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: was a blessing in disguise because during this time I impressed
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: the exact so much that they were like, we're going
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: to give you a developmental contract. It wasn't a million
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: dollar contract, and I had to take a pay cut
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: from doing the reality shows when I was winning. I
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: was doing reality shows and I would win, and so
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: when you win, I win a lot of money, right,
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: So I took a pay cut to go into the
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: developmental into Deep South Wrestling in Atlanta, Georgia, which was
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: makedon at Georgia. So moved from Los Angeles to Macdonnat, Georgia.
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: And every day I'd wake up and my body was
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: just killing me. I'd be like, one more day, you
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: can do it. One more day, you can do it.
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: One more day, you can do it. One more day,
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: you can do it. And you'd see people quitting. You
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: would see people always faking that they were sick on
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: this bleachers. I never wanted to be in a bleacher,
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: never wanted to be a sick guy in the bleacher.
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: I was always the guy that was like, I'm just
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: going to go through it and let the torment happen.
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: And so went through it. Finally got up into the SmackDown,
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: and when I remember sitting down with Vince and Vince
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: they were like, Vince wants to see you, and I'm like,
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: oh man, holy cow this is it. I get in
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: there and he's like, we want you to be the
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: Ryan Seacrest of the WWA. I'm let me tell you something.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: Ryan's Seacrest. Yeah.
- 1:28:00Speaker 3: Yeah, a talented guy.
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: Hell the talent. But when you want to be the
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: big star in WWE, being the Ryan Seacrest of ww
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: is not what you want to hear. But I knew
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: that if they gave me a microphone, I could get
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: the crowd to want to see me get beat up
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: in the ring. He wanted me to be the host
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: of SmackDown, like they wanted to me. They didn't want
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: me to be like a wrestler. They even tried to
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: get me to be a commentator, like commentators being like,
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: you know, hello, everybody, a welcome to Monday night Rawl
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: or Friday night SmackDown. They wanted me to be that guy.
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: And I actually went to Stanford to do that, and
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: like they asked me, like this is what we're thinking
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: this is I was like, I really want to I
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: think I could be a ww superstar. And by the way,
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: even me thinking of this now, like I can't believe
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: I had that much balls to say that, Like, because
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: when you're trying to get in to w W and
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: this is your dream. It's like they're they're giving you
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: like an opportunity. Take it, take it, take everything, take
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: a thing.
- 1:29:00Speaker 4: I was trying to tell them, I think I can
- 1:29:02Speaker 4: be the w by the ways and everyone still by
- 1:29:06Speaker 4: the way.
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: Back then, people were still huge, right, they were massive.
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: Throughout these stories. You've gotten taller by the way.
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: Thank you, yeah, thank you. So uh and I feel
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: taller because that's my feeling at the time. Let's go
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: so I uh so yeah I I I got the microphone.
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: I was the host of SmackDown, and I knew if
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: I could get people to hate me enough or love
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: me enough on the microphone, that they'll want to see
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: me in the in the ring. And finally after I
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: believe like that's where I did the hosting of SmackDown,
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: did the hosting of the Diva Search, And once I
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: got done with the Diva Search, I was told, hey,
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: you're going to have your first match next week, and
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: it was against Tatanka. And had my first match against
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: Tatanka and I beat them, went one to oh and
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: I went like six and oh and everyone hated it.
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: And it was great because like the worst thing you
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: can have is when you walk out, no one does anything.
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: They're booing you. That's a pat on the back. That's awesome.
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: And honestly I prefer it. I like being a bad guy.
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: I like a lot of people don't like it. A
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: lot of people don't like when they go on Twitter
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: and see like this guy sucks, he's terrible, he's the
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: worst wrestler ever. I it thrives me. It it releases
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: a fire in me when someone tells me I can't
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: do something. And and now starting to realize, like more
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: and more, like that's how I grew up. Like my
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: dad was never like great job, you know, you're doing great.
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: It's always like, Mike, what are you doing? What do
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: you do? Why are you throwing a curveball? When you
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: just learn how to throw a curveball, throw a fastball?
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: And I'm like, leave me alone, Dad, I know exactly
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: what I'm doing, you know. And it's like in football
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: or a basketball it was always like you, how are
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: you missing foul shots? Mike? They're the easiest one. You're
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: just standing there, just hit the thing doing it, you know.
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: So like that's what I grew up with. So now
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: like when the audience I hear the audience doing that
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: kind of stuff, It's like kind of what I grew
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: up with, and it's made me who I am. It's
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: like my dad, Like I love the fact that he
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: did that and was like that because it gave me
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: a work ethic, like you had to work for everything,
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: every ounce, every inch, everything that you've ever gotten, like
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: and in ww you have to work for everything. The
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: reason why it was so hard in developmental is because
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: when you get up to the top and you're a
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: WWE champion, you have to be able to stand everything
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: and I mean everything, and so the pressure when you
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: were a champion, they're trying to see they're weeding out
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: all the people that that don't need to be there,
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: that can't withstand the pressure of being not alone WWE Superstar,
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: but can they stand the pressure of having the weight
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: of a WWE championship Because there's it's it's unlike anything
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: you can ever imagine. When you have that title, everything
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: is on you the company. We have a bad we
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: have a bad showing at an arena where it's not
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: sold out, or it's half full, or the PM doesn't
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: get as many buys, that's on you. It's not on
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: all those other guys. That's on you. You're the face
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: of the company. You're the guy that we put our
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: put everything into. So if we are failing, you're failing.
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: Like if I'm failing, the company's failing. That's that's what
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: you feel like, that's the pressure that you have. So
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: when you're going through the developmental and you're going through
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: that hell and it's tiring and it's hard, and you're
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: in you're you're sitting there going every day, you're saying,
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: can I do this? Oh my god, I don't know.
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: I don't know, but one more day, one more day,
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: one more day. And when I got up to WWE,
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: I got kicked out of the locker room. The the uh,
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: the the superstars didn't like me. And if you get
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: kicked out of the locker room, like I don't know
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: in football, but like I need people to teach me
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: how to be a WWE, how to be a top
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: talent in WWE. So people are like, well, why didn't
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: you fight the people? Like why didn't you, you know,
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: stand up for yourself. And I'm like, in that moment,
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: if I would still up for myself, I would have
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: got fired within a week and I would have never
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: made it back because I was that guy like that
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: nobody wanted there. I was the guy that was walking
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: on egg shells, but you know, somehow, some way, I
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: would crush every egg and literally, like I remember, I
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: was eating chicken in a locker room and a guy
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: came in. It's like, you got chicken all over the place.
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: And I still to this day do not believe I
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: got chicken all over the place because I was so
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: on the egg shells that I was like eating like this, uh,
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: and they were like, you got it everywhere. And then
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: by the time you know, the telephone happened, it was
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: like I was taking chicken and just throwing it all
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: over the locker room, you know, which I wasn't, but
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: then got kicked out of the locker room. Took like
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: six months to get back into the locker room, and
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: it was a lot of like yes, sir, hello, sir Helosa.
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: And by the way, back then, everyone shook each other's hands.
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: When you walk into the arena, you shook, you shook
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: everyone's hand. You look them in the eye. I don't
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: care if they were eating or whatever, because they'll find something. Right.
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: So if someone was eating and you didn't shake their hand,
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: and they saw you didn't shake my hand.
- 1:33:56Speaker 3: Today he didn't shake your hand, game a posture and
- 1:33:59Speaker 3: going off.
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: How could he not shake your hand? It's not like
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: that anymore. And sometimes I missed those days right because
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: it really showed a respect and a want And honestly,
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: I remember I went into an audition for a Supernatural
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: and I walked in and I'm just so I just
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: shake everyone's hand. I shook everyone's hand in the audition,
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: and I remember getting the part and then being like,
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: how did I get that part? It is like, one,
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: you were amazing in it, and you there was no
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: one that we actually saw, but two you shook everyone's
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: hand like we've never seen anyone do anything, Like no
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: one does that, Like usually people just go in and
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: they're so in their head. And I was like, wow,
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: that was something that WW is always ingrained in me,
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: like you kind of even when I'm done with like
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: on like when I was doing American Gladiators, I after
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: we were done, I would shake everyone's hand at the
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: end of the night. It's just something that's ingrained in
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: me now, Like when you're done, you shake everyone's hand
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: because you look them in the eye and say thank you. Right,
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: kind of ingrained that in me. So I was like,
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: it doesn't happen now, like cause it's it's very it's
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: not loose, I would say, But I don't know. Back
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: then it was. It was very difficult. But I'm glad
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: I went through it because it made me realize like
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: I could take on anything. Yeah, I could do anything
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: I need to do, you know what I mean.
- 1:35:18Speaker 4: Yeah, there was there ever a moment where you're like
- 1:35:21Speaker 4: at the top, whether it's w W Champion or you're
- 1:35:23Speaker 4: getting right there to where you failed on the mic,
- 1:35:27Speaker 4: or you had a lapse like during a promo, so
- 1:35:30Speaker 4: we're like, ah fuck, that was my moment.
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: But that I let everybody it's every time I go
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: out there. I'm I'm so I will watch every A
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: lot of people don't like to watch themselves on TV.
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: They don't like the way they sound, they don't like
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: the way whatever. I dissect everything I do.
- 1:35:45Speaker 3: When you watch this podcast.
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: Huh, absolutely, you're kidding me, And I will dissect everything
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: I should have talked about, that should have talked about,
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: that could have went in this step. I could have
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: done a joke there. That's just everything I do, I
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: literally I study it and say, how could I've on
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: that better? I will watch this podcast and I'll go,
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: how could I have done that podcast better? How could
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: I have done it? For the boys? Because I'm a
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: fan of busting with the boys, I think that you
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: what you've guys done, what you created out of a bus,
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: and especially that you guys obviously pro football players, very
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: very successful undrafted, but you did well. You're pat on
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: the back man. You were great on special teams, you
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: really were. You were, and you were a great linebacker,
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: you really were. But man, what you guys were able
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: to create. Think about that that it is very hard
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: to do be successful in one thing and then turn
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: it around and be successful in something else, and not
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: only that, create jobs for so many more people and
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: then have so many different avenues like you guys have
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: created a really cool atmosphere for people to come and talk.
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: I watched Don and Sue and I was like, I
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: always thought that guy was a jerk because I watched
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: him on football and it seemed like it seemed like
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: he was a jerk. And then I watched him on
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: here and I was like, I like that guy who's
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: soft spoken, he was eloquent. He was very business savvy.
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: I was like, wow, man, I did not think Sue
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: is like that. You know, he seemed like just a dirty,
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: dirty player.
- 1:37:05Speaker 3: Yeah, he had a couple of things. Yeah, I'll tell
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: you what words of affirmation are the key to our hearts?
- 1:37:12Speaker 4: And you did it?
- 1:37:12Speaker 3: You think that that was incredible? I love it. Way

- 1:38:55Speaker 4: Back to this episode, so.
- 1:38:57Speaker 3: I know the biggest thing going on right now is
- 1:38:59Speaker 3: Russell Poaluza. Russell Palooza, and I mean WW is going
- 1:39:04Speaker 3: to ESPN like talk about not only Russell Palooza. But
- 1:39:07Speaker 3: like how WD has been able to evolve in the
- 1:39:09Speaker 3: two decades you've been a part of it.
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: Ude, It's it's been incredible. I've been here for twenty
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: years and I remember when the scenes worked full right.
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: I remember when looking out there and it's just, you know,
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: how do we get more popular? How do we build
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: this business? And every day you just go out there
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: and you do the best you possibly can, you know.
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: And so now looking at where we are, we're on Netflix,
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: and I think us going to Netflix was a huge,
- 1:39:38Speaker 1: huge move. And the reason being is one of my
- 1:39:41Speaker 1: buddies lives down the street and he has three boys,
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: and he was like, yeah, they never really really watched
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: until you were on Netflix. Because now it's not at
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: eleven o'clock at night. They had to go to bed
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: eight to eleven. That's that's a late night. But when
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: they get home from school, it's on Netflix. It's right
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: right there. Number one show on Netflix. Boom. They turn
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: it right on, and that that's generating a whole new
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: ban base. Because we're also on USA for Friday Night SmackDown,
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: and then once TKO took over, it feels like we're
- 1:40:12Speaker 1: we're getting out there more in the world, if you will,
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: Like there's less live events, but we're traveling more worldwide
- 1:40:20Speaker 1: and they're creating new places like ESPN now is our
- 1:40:25Speaker 1: home for pls premium live events, and our first one
- 1:40:28Speaker 1: is Wressell Palooza. It's going to be a part of
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: the Big Six. You got WrestleMania, you got Royal Rumble,
- 1:40:34Speaker 1: Survivor Series, SummerSlam, Money in the Bank, and now Wressell Palooza.
- 1:40:38Speaker 1: We have Big Six. These are our big, huge pls
- 1:40:43Speaker 1: and they're all going to be on ESPN. We're moving
- 1:40:45Speaker 1: to everything, all our pls to ESPN. This is the
- 1:40:48Speaker 1: first one and it's starting off with a bang. I mean,
- 1:40:51Speaker 1: you have Cody Rhodes, who is our WWE champion, who
- 1:40:54Speaker 1: has been doing a phenomenal job as ww Champion. Have
- 1:40:57Speaker 1: you guys talked to him yet?
- 1:40:58Speaker 4: I have gone.
- 1:40:59Speaker 1: You will want to talk to him. He has an
- 1:41:02Speaker 1: amazing story. It's Dusty Rhodes's kid, right and growing up
- 1:41:06Speaker 1: as a kid of a living legend to be in
- 1:41:09Speaker 1: that shadow, but not only to be in the shadow,
- 1:41:12Speaker 1: but to succeed under that shadow and take what he's done.
- 1:41:15Speaker 1: His story is tremendous. I mean, he literally was unhappy
- 1:41:18Speaker 1: in WWE. He left, he created a whole underground vibe
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: of literally a huge fan base that brought him back
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: into fruition to where people like WW didn't look at
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: him as a main eventor they said he's a mid carter.
- 1:41:35Speaker 1: So he said, I'm better than that. I know I'm
- 1:41:37Speaker 1: better than that, and I don't like where I'm at,
- 1:41:39Speaker 1: So I'm going to leave and I'm gonna build, and
- 1:41:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna make you believe that I'm a main eventor.
- 1:41:44Speaker 1: And he did exactly that. He came back and now
- 1:41:47Speaker 1: he is our poster child. He is. He's guile in
- 1:41:51Speaker 1: street Fighter, you know, and he's been doing I mean,
- 1:41:54Speaker 1: he's been doing a tremendous job. But I mean he's
- 1:41:56Speaker 1: going to be taking Drew McIntyre for the ww Championship.
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: John Cena is on a farewell tour. This is the
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: last time we're going to see him wrestle in a ring.
- 1:42:04Speaker 1: In Indianapolis at Russell Plouza against Sue brock Lesner.
- 1:42:10Speaker 3: Yeah, man, oh my god.
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: I mean, brock Lesner is just a massive human being
- 1:42:18Speaker 1: and just full of just muscle and like when you
- 1:42:22Speaker 1: think of a professional wrestler like you show brock Lesner,
- 1:42:26Speaker 1: It's like, yeah, that guy. I don't want to mess
- 1:42:28Speaker 1: with that guy at all. And John Cena's last match
- 1:42:32Speaker 1: in Indianapolis will be against brock Lesner and he's on
- 1:42:36Speaker 1: a farewell tour and this is sad for I think
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: not only me, but I feel like the up and
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: coming superstars because I got to learn from John Cena.
- 1:42:44Speaker 1: I got to get the teachings from John Cena, and
- 1:42:47Speaker 1: now these kids that are coming up from our performance
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: center won't get that opportunity to wrestle John Cena. We
- 1:42:55Speaker 1: got to wrestle me, which is great, but there there's
- 1:42:58Speaker 1: there's a there's a difference, right, I've got to learn
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: from John Cena. Now hopefully I can take what he's
- 1:43:02Speaker 1: taught me and pass it on down. And that's what
- 1:43:04Speaker 1: you do as a legend in the business, right You
- 1:43:07Speaker 1: always want the stuff that you've taught and left on
- 1:43:10Speaker 1: this industry to be passed down for generations upon generations.
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: And so I've been fortunate and very lucky to be
- 1:43:16Speaker 1: in the ring. I want to do it one more time,
- 1:43:17Speaker 1: but I feel like he only has like six more
- 1:43:19Speaker 1: dates because this year is the last year I think
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: it's like December something is his last show. Yeah, is
- 1:43:26Speaker 1: his last wrestling match. He's been doing a farewell tour.
- 1:43:29Speaker 1: This is it.
- 1:43:29Speaker 3: This is on September twentieth.
- 1:43:31Speaker 1: September twentieth will be the last time you see John
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: Cena wrestle in Indianapolis.
- 1:43:35Speaker 3: Oh buddy.
- 1:43:36Speaker 1: Yeah. And so that's Russell Palooza. I mean, this is
- 1:43:37Speaker 1: what that why it's big. Not only that, like you
- 1:43:40Speaker 1: have seth Rawlins and Becky Lynch teaming up. They're a
- 1:43:43Speaker 1: couple going up against the couple of CM Punk and
- 1:43:46Speaker 1: aj Lee who just made her return in Chicago and
- 1:43:51Speaker 1: it was wild, it was It's big. And so the
- 1:43:55Speaker 1: couple's matches are always interesting because you never know, like
- 1:43:58Speaker 1: we always say, you never know what's going to happen.
- 1:44:00Speaker 1: But in a couple's match, like this is a real
- 1:44:02Speaker 1: life couples their real life and they're fighting each other
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: at Russell Palooza. I mean, I can't wait for Russell.
- 1:44:08Speaker 1: I mean and being able to go to ESPN, like,
- 1:44:11Speaker 1: I mean, it's the worldwide leader in sports, like I mean,
- 1:44:14Speaker 1: think about that. When I was a kid, what did
- 1:44:18Speaker 1: you what did you watch when you were a kid.
- 1:44:19Speaker 1: ESPN ESPN. Like when you wake up in the morning,
- 1:44:22Speaker 1: some people watch news. I watch ESPN. I remember like
- 1:44:26Speaker 1: ESPN esp in your face. You probably don't remember that,
- 1:44:30Speaker 1: but I remember that. Yeah, and now and and sometimes
- 1:44:34Speaker 1: I felt like, you know, ESPN kind of sidetracked us,
- 1:44:37Speaker 1: not such, but like kind of like not pushes aside,
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: but like we're w W. We were sports entertainment. Now
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: we're a focal point in ESPN. And I love the
- 1:44:47Speaker 1: fact of being on ESPN and being able to have
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: our huge events on there. It's gonna be amazing.
- 1:44:53Speaker 3: The only thing that worries me for you guys and
- 1:44:56Speaker 3: Russell Palooza is it's I mean, I feel like someone
- 1:44:58Speaker 3: should have thought of this, but like you guys booked
- 1:45:00Speaker 3: it on the same day as the bust and Bowl.
- 1:45:02Speaker 3: Oh really yeah, that is Michigan versus Nebraska. It is
- 1:45:05Speaker 3: so yeah, it's a double header. It might be one
- 1:45:08Speaker 3: of the greatest days in entertainment ever.
- 1:45:10Speaker 4: Yeah, right in Nebraska. Bust and Bowl was two thirty.
- 1:45:14Speaker 4: Did you go to Nebraska. Yeah, you went to.
- 1:45:16Speaker 1: Michigan, Michigani State, I mean national champions but Ohio.
- 1:45:21Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, I mean yeah, because you said I heard
- 1:45:24Speaker 3: you mentioned Miami, Ohio. I heard you mentioned Stanford on
- 1:45:27Speaker 3: this and then you just said Ohio State.
- 1:45:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I uh, Miami, We're never in the tournaments.
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: Like the last time we were in a tournament I
- 1:45:36Speaker 1: think was like with Roethlisberger or Wally Zerbiak in the
- 1:45:39Speaker 1: in the NBA. But I mean, I mean, we're never
- 1:45:42Speaker 1: in anything. So it's the Ohio State went to Miami, Ohio.
- 1:45:45Speaker 1: He did, you know what's interesting about that? I have
- 1:45:48Speaker 1: a story about Sean McVay. Uh. So, Jay Glazier has
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: a gym unbreakable in uh Los Angeles, or he did.
- 1:45:57Speaker 1: I don't know if he still does. But Jay told
- 1:45:59Speaker 1: me to come down to work out there. First day
- 1:46:03Speaker 1: I get there, I'm like working out with like stile
- 1:46:05Speaker 1: Vester salone. And then who shows up? And this is
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: before he's the coach of the Rams, he just got
- 1:46:11Speaker 1: the job. Sean McVay walks in and so Jay's like,
- 1:46:14Speaker 1: you should work out together. I'm like, ah, sure, no problem.
- 1:46:18Speaker 1: I like, I was like, oh, yeah, this is a
- 1:46:20Speaker 1: good guy. Good I wanted to run through a wall.
- 1:46:24Speaker 1: Like when we were done working out, like he was
- 1:46:26Speaker 1: pushing me, like pushing me, and I was like this
- 1:46:29Speaker 1: is why this guy is going to be a great coach.
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: And then like he became this amazing coach and I
- 1:46:35Speaker 1: was like, I know why I felt it. Like there's
- 1:46:37Speaker 1: certain people that you can feel in energy and it
- 1:46:41Speaker 1: drives you. And there's something about Sean McVay that literally,
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: when you were around him, you want to do better,
- 1:46:47Speaker 1: you want to be better. You're like, I can, I
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: can beat this guy, but he's not gonna let you
- 1:46:52Speaker 1: beat him, Like you have to really work for it.
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: So McVeigh is awesome man in my book, that is awesome.
- 1:46:59Speaker 3: You were able to have him at the Redskins.
- 1:47:02Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, he was the UC at Washington when I
- 1:47:05Speaker 4: was there, and he was he's a stud. Like I
- 1:47:07Speaker 4: know he was doing like the interview circuit fore head
- 1:47:09Speaker 4: coaching jobs, and the way they were kind of telling
- 1:47:12Speaker 4: me about it is he'll get in the circuit this year,
- 1:47:14Speaker 4: probably won't get a job, and then the next year
- 1:47:16Speaker 4: it'll keep growing and building. But apparently, like when he
- 1:47:18Speaker 4: went interviewed with the Rams, they didn't want him to
- 1:47:20Speaker 4: leave the room because he had did he had done
- 1:47:22Speaker 4: such an incredible job. Again, just the ore that he has,
- 1:47:25Speaker 4: like once you're around him, he's got it, He's got
- 1:47:28Speaker 4: that X factor.
- 1:47:28Speaker 3: The last ten minutes the conversation took place, we talked
- 1:47:30Speaker 3: about Sharah Sanders, a bunch of things, Caleb Williams, Caleb Williams,
- 1:47:34Speaker 3: Is he the guy? Is he's not the guy? Seems
- 1:47:36Speaker 3: like a thing that you guys will never know the
- 1:47:37Speaker 3: answer to.
- 1:47:38Speaker 4: At this point, if we talked about you would just
- 1:47:42Speaker 4: keep Bears fans just in hell because they would know these.
- 1:47:46Speaker 1: I do not feel sorry for I saw your whole
- 1:47:49Speaker 1: little promo and I was like, you don't even get it.
- 1:47:53Speaker 1: You don't get you had you you had Rex Grossman
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: take you to the super Bowl, and you got to
- 1:47:58Speaker 1: go to a super Bowl. You know what I have
- 1:47:59Speaker 1: to go through. Yeah, at least you had Jay Cutler
- 1:48:02Speaker 1: for a while. Yeah, I mean that was fun.
- 1:48:06Speaker 3: Me me, what have I had?
- 1:48:07Speaker 1: What is the Cleveland Browns?
- 1:48:10Speaker 4: So that video would have been great for you when
- 1:48:12Speaker 4: you guys had drafted what Johnny Manzel? What? What? What pick?
- 1:48:15Speaker 4: Did you have him on?
- 1:48:16Speaker 3: Thirty first? Thirty first? Even then?
- 1:48:19Speaker 4: But it's like, you know, they went through all these guys,
- 1:48:20Speaker 4: you got the number one overall pick, and he just
- 1:48:22Speaker 4: doesn't seem like he's going to be that number one
- 1:48:24Speaker 4: overall pick.
- 1:48:25Speaker 1: Many times have I had the number one pick or
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: close to the number one pick, or the guy that
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: everyone's talking about.
- 1:48:31Speaker 4: Who's been the quarterback that you've taken, like Charlie.
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: Frye, Brady Quinn, Brandon Whedon tough exactly to Sean Kaiser.
- 1:48:41Speaker 2: Yeah, and that the video that McCoy, Oh, that's your boy,
- 1:48:48Speaker 2: Tyrod Taylor, Seneca Wallace.
- 1:48:50Speaker 1: I mean, what else do you want? Huh? All G
- 1:48:53Speaker 1: three we had him as well? Yeah, is Mark Anderson?
- 1:48:58Speaker 1: I thought he was a guy. He didn't end up
- 1:49:00Speaker 1: being a guy. What else?
- 1:49:02Speaker 3: Huh? Did I feel like? One photo of the uh
- 1:49:05Speaker 3: the fan that has like the name, and then a
- 1:49:08Speaker 3: whole bunch of sheets of like the other names that
- 1:49:09Speaker 3: took place, and you memorize life.
- 1:49:12Speaker 1: I didn't memorize that's my life. I would amaze this
- 1:49:15Speaker 1: is what I remember.
- 1:49:15Speaker 4: I would have made that video for you guys, had
- 1:49:17Speaker 4: you you know, had this. This is gonna be the
- 1:49:19Speaker 4: next coming of our court. This is gonna be our
- 1:49:21Speaker 4: quarterback for life. Oh, like, I know you feel bad
- 1:49:25Speaker 4: for the babies.
- 1:49:26Speaker 1: A bunch of you don't get it. You didn't have
- 1:49:29Speaker 1: to go through a no win season and then the
- 1:49:31Speaker 1: next year win two games. Boy was that a fun year?
- 1:49:34Speaker 1: Those were fun for us. Do you understand what the
- 1:49:36Speaker 1: thing about Chicago is. It's a big city, right, They
- 1:49:39Speaker 1: got the Bulls, they got the You know, Cleveland needs
- 1:49:42Speaker 1: its sports. When it's sports thrives, Cleveland thrives. And that's
- 1:49:47Speaker 1: why we need great football team, basketball team, baseball team
- 1:49:52Speaker 1: because when those sports are going, that city is pumping. Man,
- 1:49:55Speaker 1: And that's what I love about that city. But it's
- 1:49:58Speaker 1: hard when the city when it's not happening, because it's
- 1:50:01Speaker 1: it's depressing. This city feels it.
- 1:50:05Speaker 3: I feel.
- 1:50:05Speaker 1: I love Ken Stefanski. Kevin Sevansky is a coach like
- 1:50:08Speaker 1: I do not think like if we do terribly this season,
- 1:50:12Speaker 1: we need to get Like, but.
- 1:50:13Speaker 4: About what was your expectation going into this season for
- 1:50:16Speaker 4: the Brown Super Bowl?
- 1:50:17Speaker 1: No, it wasn't, Yes, it was. It was from Cleveland.
- 1:50:20Speaker 3: Bro, you're not Joe Flacco?
- 1:50:23Speaker 1: Why not the why not us? Why not? Why not Joe?
- 1:50:27Speaker 1: He did it.
- 1:50:28Speaker 3: Because the things you said, that's why not.
- 1:50:31Speaker 1: You don't get it. Joe Flacco was an m v
- 1:50:34Speaker 1: P Super Bowl winning m v.
- 1:50:38Speaker 3: I was in college when that happened. Yeah, so it
- 1:50:40Speaker 3: was two thousand.
- 1:50:42Speaker 1: In the division. Now I like him.
- 1:50:44Speaker 4: Yeah, But Joe Flacco, the age he's at now, I
- 1:50:46Speaker 4: saw him run. It looked a lot like me running
- 1:50:48Speaker 4: out there.
- 1:50:49Speaker 1: He's a pocket passer.
- 1:50:50Speaker 4: Rodgers, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, Like, there's no way you're
- 1:50:54Speaker 4: thinking this is a super Bowl.
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: He's gone for a couple of weeks.
- 1:50:58Speaker 4: He's gone.
- 1:50:59Speaker 1: By the way. We should have beaten Cincinnati. We beat ourselves,
- 1:51:02Speaker 1: and that's a lot That's what I think happens a
- 1:51:04Speaker 1: lot of time with Cleveland Browns. We end up beating ourselves.
- 1:51:07Speaker 1: Miles Garrett controls a game. It's interesting to watch him,
- 1:51:12Speaker 1: like Micah Parsons, like they're game wreckers. They ruin an
- 1:51:16Speaker 1: entire offense that literally thinks that they can do, an
- 1:51:19Speaker 1: offense that usually can do whatever the hell they want
- 1:51:21Speaker 1: because Jamar Chase t Higgins, Oh, all these super sexy
- 1:51:25Speaker 1: uh playmakers, and then what happens. Miles Garrett's in there
- 1:51:29Speaker 1: and go, here's your seven yards for the second half?
- 1:51:31Speaker 1: And how do we lose?
- 1:51:33Speaker 4: No offense?
- 1:51:34Speaker 3: Joe Flacco was bringing back what do we do?
- 1:51:38Speaker 1: What do I do? Dylan Gabriel, is that our guy?
- 1:51:42Speaker 1: Do you think Shuders are guys.
- 1:51:43Speaker 3: I think Dylan Gabriel is pretty good when put him
- 1:51:44Speaker 3: against By the way, you guys lost the game forty
- 1:51:46Speaker 3: two to seventeen against the Ravens yesterday. Talking about Super Bowl,
- 1:51:50Speaker 3: I remember Gabriel came had a nice touchdown pass.
- 1:51:53Speaker 1: Do you want to hear something about I thought Flacco
- 1:51:56Speaker 1: was going to get the win and then he was
- 1:51:58Speaker 1: going to have I think thirty one t is that
- 1:52:00Speaker 1: he's beaten. I thought he was gonna beat the Ravens yesterday.
- 1:52:04Speaker 1: I thought we were gonna win.
- 1:52:05Speaker 3: That's what makes fandom the best. That is that delusional
- 1:52:08Speaker 3: thought process.
- 1:52:09Speaker 1: It's not delusional. We it could happen. It could Miles
- 1:52:12Speaker 1: Garrett's on our team.
- 1:52:13Speaker 3: It could, but not right now. Your offensive line is
- 1:52:15Speaker 3: not very good. Your best running back.
- 1:52:18Speaker 4: Issue about what your expectations would be. The history that
- 1:52:20Speaker 4: you've talked about the Cleveland Browns and you go out
- 1:52:23Speaker 4: and get Ben Johnson, he's the new head coach and
- 1:52:25Speaker 4: you were it's like year two for the number one overall.
- 1:52:28Speaker 1: We got like five years ago and he was the
- 1:52:32Speaker 1: coach of the year two of his like five years
- 1:52:35Speaker 1: that he's been. What do you want from me? Like
- 1:52:39Speaker 1: we have a Coach of the year. He's won Coach
- 1:52:40Speaker 1: of the Year twice.
- 1:52:41Speaker 4: So when Stefanski came over, like, what was the expectation,
- 1:52:44Speaker 4: We're about to win the whole thing? Yes, yeah, so
- 1:52:46Speaker 4: we had my video would have been great for that year.
- 1:52:49Speaker 4: When you know those couple of years happened for you
- 1:52:51Speaker 4: guys in Baker Mayfield, Stefanski, Kim make.
- 1:52:55Speaker 1: Can you can you explain this to me? Though? Here's
- 1:52:58Speaker 1: what I don't understand. You have Baker Mayfield. Baker Mayfield
- 1:53:02Speaker 1: was Rookie of the year, right and then and he
- 1:53:05Speaker 1: he he he had records. And then the second year,
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: I believe he got injured maybe and then he got ousted.
- 1:53:15Speaker 1: How does that happen? How do you look at a
- 1:53:17Speaker 1: guy that gets Rookie of the Year, that takes you
- 1:53:19Speaker 1: to a playoff that you play and wins. In the playoffs,
- 1:53:22Speaker 1: we almost beat the Kansas City Chiefs, if you remember that,
- 1:53:25Speaker 1: we we almost won that game. And so then you
- 1:53:29Speaker 1: go to kicking him off your team. Why, like, why
- 1:53:33Speaker 1: does that happen? I don't And then I met I
- 1:53:37Speaker 1: met Baker, and I got to tell you, I love
- 1:53:39Speaker 1: the guy.
- 1:53:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I think anybody who comescross Baker Mayfield loves Baker Mayfield.
- 1:53:42Speaker 1: So if you if you think Fancy didn't, do you
- 1:53:47Speaker 1: think that is it? Or do you think the higher up,
- 1:53:49Speaker 1: upper management? Like what would it be though? If you
- 1:53:52Speaker 1: see a guy in a locker room and he's getting
- 1:53:54Speaker 1: along with it, he seems like a guy that gets
- 1:53:55Speaker 1: along with the boys, like right, Like he seems like
- 1:53:58Speaker 1: a guy that can motivate a team.
- 1:53:59Speaker 4: And no, know that you had a run game, you
- 1:54:01Speaker 4: had an incredible offensive line.
- 1:54:04Speaker 1: Yes, I don't understand like that, Why why did we
- 1:54:08Speaker 1: get right? It'll it'll always be in my mind. I'll
- 1:54:11Speaker 1: never understand it. Being with him at the American Century Championship,
- 1:54:14Speaker 1: I like played eighteen holes with him and Kittle and
- 1:54:17Speaker 1: boy was that fun? Oh my god?
- 1:54:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:54:20Speaker 1: I was filming for my uh my YouTube channel Miss
- 1:54:22Speaker 1: Golf out there for anyone that I wanted to watch subscribe,
- 1:54:25Speaker 1: subscribe Miss Golf. Uh yeah, I And honestly, at one point,
- 1:54:32Speaker 1: all three of us were listening to Baker's music and
- 1:54:35Speaker 1: dancing in the middle of the fairway and I go,
- 1:54:37Speaker 1: what do you listen? What is this We've been listening
- 1:54:39Speaker 1: to all day? It's the best music ever. He goes
- 1:54:41Speaker 1: big Booty Mix fifteen, and I'm like, you're kidding. I
- 1:54:45Speaker 1: was like, this is what this is. And so now
- 1:54:48Speaker 1: I have Big Booty Mix fifteen just playing all the time.
- 1:54:51Speaker 1: Whenever I'm golfing, I'm going to run. I'm telling you
- 1:54:54Speaker 1: it was correct.
- 1:54:55Speaker 4: I listen. I know you're in paining as a Browns fan.
- 1:55:01Speaker 1: You don't know what pain is. You sit there and
- 1:55:03Speaker 1: you cry about the Huskers.
- 1:55:07Speaker 4: Will you don't know about the Huskers.
- 1:55:09Speaker 1: What about the Huskers? You're gonna lose the Michigan. I'll
- 1:55:11Speaker 1: tell you that. I don't even like Michigan, but they're
- 1:55:12Speaker 1: gonna lose the Michigan. I don't even know. I mean,
- 1:55:15Speaker 1: is that even a game. It's gonna be like this,
- 1:55:20Speaker 1: zero points scored.
- 1:55:21Speaker 4: I no clue my Bears video did this to you?
- 1:55:23Speaker 4: Because you're lashing out right now, but dact like I
- 1:55:26Speaker 4: don't know pain. You'd be sadly mistaken the Huskers over
- 1:55:29Speaker 4: the last decade since Alight to Nebraska, Bo Polini and
- 1:55:34Speaker 4: that staff.
- 1:55:35Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, my family's from Broken Bow, Nebraska. Some of
- 1:55:38Speaker 1: my family are the Husker fans. I've been there, I've
- 1:55:41Speaker 1: been to they are. Yeah. I think everyone's a Husker
- 1:55:43Speaker 1: fan in Nebraska. Get her done's a big Husker fan. Yes,
- 1:55:49Speaker 1: the cable guy is a big big I see him
- 1:55:51Speaker 1: at the American Century Championship as well.
- 1:55:53Speaker 3: You should not go to Wrestle Palooza and come to
- 1:55:56Speaker 3: the bust and Bawl to check that out.
- 1:55:58Speaker 1: I'd love to, But it's a huge event. It's our
- 1:56:00Speaker 1: Big Six and it's a big deal, and we're going
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: to promote the hell out of it here with Busting
- 1:56:06Speaker 1: with the Boys. Yes, it's a big deal.
- 1:56:10Speaker 4: What's the I haven't I haven't like the you're telling me.
- 1:56:14Speaker 1: You're telling me you don't want to see John Cena
- 1:56:15Speaker 1: versus brock Lessons.
- 1:56:17Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 1:56:18Speaker 3: If you took a gorilla and shaded all all tear
- 1:56:20Speaker 3: offf its body, that's what brock Lessons that is. I mean,
- 1:56:24Speaker 3: he is a freak. That is going to be incredible.
- 1:56:26Speaker 3: I can't wait to watch it.
- 1:56:28Speaker 1: And the way, there's the way we've been putting out
- 1:56:31Speaker 1: things when we went to Netflix with SmackDown USA. You
- 1:56:36Speaker 1: look at it now and you think we're going to ESPN.
- 1:56:38Speaker 1: We're pulling out all stops. So I feel bad for
- 1:56:41Speaker 1: you guys on that Saturday because we're pulling out everything.
- 1:56:44Speaker 3: Can I be honest with you, No one could chow
- 1:56:47Speaker 3: up that game and will and I will be excited
- 1:56:48Speaker 3: about it, right.
- 1:56:50Speaker 4: I mean, I'd rather be in Memorial Stadium on Saturday
- 1:56:54Speaker 4: where we kick off conference play with the Michigan Wolverines
- 1:56:56Speaker 4: in the bust And Bowl. We got our trophy. This
- 1:56:58Speaker 4: is a trophy game.
- 1:56:58Speaker 1: So will you guys be kind of commentating on it
- 1:57:01Speaker 1: or will you guys?
- 1:57:02Speaker 3: You guys we're sitting there, will be on the sideline.
- 1:57:06Speaker 3: I don't know what the dynamics look like. Last time
- 1:57:08Speaker 3: we stood on the Nebraska sideline, we'll probably do the
- 1:57:11Speaker 3: same thing again.
- 1:57:11Speaker 1: You'll stand on the Nebraska sideline.
- 1:57:13Speaker 3: Yeah, listen, I'm not here to put some No. We're
- 1:57:15Speaker 3: four to zero against Nebraska.
- 1:57:17Speaker 4: You should see if you can stand on the Michigan side.
- 1:57:19Speaker 3: I could if I want it. But if I go,
- 1:57:20Speaker 3: I go gbr after Goblue like it.
- 1:57:22Speaker 4: Will knows that.
- 1:57:24Speaker 1: JJ McCarthy, huh, we think JJ McCarthy.
- 1:57:26Speaker 4: Where am I?
- 1:57:27Speaker 3: JJ McCarthy, You got to take some time. I think
- 1:57:29Speaker 3: you had a great coaching staff, and I think you
- 1:57:30Speaker 3: got a good defense behind him too. They're going to
- 1:57:32Speaker 3: be in games because of their defense and the.
- 1:57:34Speaker 1: Coaching staff at all worried.
- 1:57:36Speaker 3: Well, yeah, I think you should be concerned a little
- 1:57:38Speaker 3: bit if you're a Vikings fan. But like he'll take time.
- 1:57:42Speaker 4: Three years. Oh but wait, he's ruled out, So.
- 1:57:46Speaker 3: Yeah, who got ruled out?
- 1:57:49Speaker 4: But then being a first round pick, he'll have two years.
- 1:57:51Speaker 1: Wait a second, he he's ruled out of the game already.
- 1:57:56Speaker 1: That's the second injury in two years. Yeah, that's tough.
- 1:58:01Speaker 3: I can't get that bug. You gotta you gotta get
- 1:58:03Speaker 3: that wins.
- 1:58:05Speaker 4: Since he's Michigan and you'ren Ohio state guy, a little bit.
- 1:58:08Speaker 4: I kind of see his antics right now.
- 1:58:09Speaker 3: Oh no, yeah, but it's it's seen. But this is like,
- 1:58:12Speaker 3: you know, what do you do to a guy who's
- 1:58:14Speaker 3: been beat down four years in a row? Like do
- 1:58:15Speaker 3: I go and like say something better?
- 1:58:18Speaker 1: The National champions I can't remember, do.
- 1:58:20Speaker 3: You do you?
- 1:58:21Speaker 4: Guys?
- 1:58:22Speaker 1: Is it? I think it was Ryan Day?
- 1:58:26Speaker 3: Leader of men?
- 1:58:28Speaker 1: My goodness, leader of men.
- 1:58:29Speaker 3: Ryan Day? That's your guy, I mean. And also, you
- 1:58:33Speaker 3: remind me a lot of a high state fan that's
- 1:58:35Speaker 3: on this bus right now, because you've mentioned three different
- 1:58:36Speaker 3: schools you were a Miami fan growing up, that you
- 1:58:39Speaker 3: were over the.
- 1:58:39Speaker 1: Cleveland bro.
- 1:58:45Speaker 3: Ohio State fans is the hardest school to get into.
- 1:58:47Speaker 1: And I'm smart. I was like, you know what, I'm
- 1:58:50Speaker 1: going to the hardest school to get into. And I
- 1:58:52Speaker 1: went to j Crew. You it's the Harvard of the Midwest,
- 1:58:55Speaker 1: Miami of Ohio. I went there. Doesn't mean that I
- 1:58:58Speaker 1: was a fan of the RedHawks. Okay, all right, I
- 1:59:01Speaker 1: don't think anyone even goes to the red hawksim.
- 1:59:03Speaker 3: Is, no one's coming at you here. I'm just pulling
- 1:59:04Speaker 3: something out.
- 1:59:05Speaker 1: I feel like someone's coming at me.
- 1:59:07Speaker 3: Well, it's like.
- 1:59:09Speaker 1: This and this and diving through and second. Yeah, Ryan
- 1:59:14Speaker 1: was Ryan Tannehill.
- 1:59:16Speaker 3: Yeah right, Marcos Smarriotta, Charlie Whitehurst, Jake Locker had a
- 1:59:20Speaker 3: lot of Mettenberger who had a lot of them, had
- 1:59:22Speaker 3: a lot of.
- 1:59:23Speaker 4: Let's get a quick tea quick ta. Let's bring it
- 1:59:25Speaker 4: back in, let's walk back in. Because I were you.
- 1:59:27Speaker 3: Guys favored in the last game Michigan for sah State.
- 1:59:30Speaker 1: I don't, I don't remember.
- 1:59:32Speaker 3: It's minus twenty and a half points. You guys were
- 1:59:35Speaker 3: favored by in Columbus, Ohio.
- 1:59:36Speaker 1: Do you know.
- 1:59:39Speaker 3: Like passing how Michigan did last year?
- 1:59:41Speaker 1: No, we went, don't follow we went.
- 1:59:43Speaker 3: To the settings and we turned it off. There's only
- 1:59:45Speaker 3: we only threw. We threw more passing yards. The only
- 1:59:48Speaker 3: schools we threw more than were military school.
- 1:59:50Speaker 1: I thought people forgot about Michigan since Jim Harball left.
- 1:59:54Speaker 1: I didn't even think it was a school anymore.
- 1:59:55Speaker 3: Well, how state hasn't because you guys changed two laws.
- 1:59:57Speaker 1: Because of them, two laws.
- 1:59:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a she illegal to go into Columbus, Ohio
- 2:00:01Speaker 3: and Wine.
- 2:00:03Speaker 1: I'm just in hand. I am just telling you. Aren't
- 2:00:06Speaker 1: you telling you the truth? Did they ban you from
- 2:00:09Speaker 1: the U?
- 2:00:09Speaker 4: No?
- 2:00:10Speaker 3: I got in there in there week one Ohio State for.
- 2:00:12Speaker 1: Second, I will, don't you worry.
- 2:00:15Speaker 3: I love that Ohio State's always good. I love that
- 2:00:17Speaker 3: Ohio states always good. And I'm glad Ohio State won
- 2:00:19Speaker 3: the nas chamionship last year. It's good. Guys kept in
- 2:00:21Speaker 3: the big ten.
- 2:00:22Speaker 1: That's right.
- 2:00:22Speaker 3: Thank you, You're very welcome, Thank you, congratulations.
- 2:00:25Speaker 1: Thank you so so.
- 2:00:26Speaker 4: John Cena, Yeah, John Cena, the whole heel switch thing
- 2:00:32Speaker 4: is he's still a heel.
- 2:00:33Speaker 1: No, he's baby face now baby face?
- 2:00:35Speaker 4: Now, how did that work out? High level upper management?
- 2:00:38Speaker 4: The move to do.
- 2:00:39Speaker 1: John that I thought I thought it created intrigue and
- 2:00:43Speaker 1: interests because John was never a bad guy. Like I
- 2:00:46Speaker 1: mean at the beginning of his career he was a
- 2:00:48Speaker 1: little bit, but I mean for the ninety nine percent
- 2:00:51Speaker 1: of his career he's been the uber baby. Even when
- 2:00:54Speaker 1: people wanted him to change and go to a bad guy,
- 2:00:57Speaker 1: he never did. And so I don't know. This is
- 2:01:01Speaker 1: me speaking just on my mind, and what I know
- 2:01:05Speaker 1: is a WWE superstar, it creates intrigue. It's like, oh,
- 2:01:09Speaker 1: he's never done that. Maybe John wanted to do that
- 2:01:12Speaker 1: because or maybe the higher ups wanted to do that,
- 2:01:15Speaker 1: or it was just a collective unit where they were like,
- 2:01:17Speaker 1: let's try that. But sometimes that happens, right, and you
- 2:01:22Speaker 1: see what happens. And I mean John can make anything work.
- 2:01:25Speaker 1: John is just that talented. I mean you look at
- 2:01:27Speaker 1: what he's able to do, not only in WWE, but
- 2:01:30Speaker 1: in the movies. I mean you watch if you watch Peacemaker,
- 2:01:33Speaker 1: I mean that show is phenomenal, so good. It's the
- 2:01:37Speaker 1: work ethic that John Cena has and he's he's parlayed
- 2:01:40Speaker 1: it to every person that he's come across. Like for me,
- 2:01:43Speaker 1: like my work ethic stems from what he has put
- 2:01:48Speaker 1: upon me. If that makes any sense.
- 2:01:50Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, obviously got a massive like what do you
- 2:01:54Speaker 4: call backlash whatever, all the engagement in the world. Yeah,
- 2:01:57Speaker 4: no matter what you want this, Yeah, if this is
- 2:02:01Speaker 4: not the route we want to go, we can switch
- 2:02:02Speaker 4: course now. But it's gotten everybody talk.
- 2:02:04Speaker 1: So it was kind of cool because he did it,
- 2:02:07Speaker 1: and then it was like, oh, this is weird, this
- 2:02:09Speaker 1: is interesting, but everyone's talking about it because it's John Cena.
- 2:02:12Speaker 1: And then when he changed back, it created that much
- 2:02:14Speaker 1: more like, yes, he's back, our guys back for the
- 2:02:17Speaker 1: next four I mean, what is it three months? Now
- 2:02:20Speaker 1: we get him for three more months? God, it's crazy.
- 2:02:23Speaker 1: Like every time I see him, I go, what six
- 2:02:26Speaker 1: more days? Yeah, six more that's it. I'm wondering. And
- 2:02:30Speaker 1: now he's starting to use all the people that he's
- 2:02:32Speaker 1: paying tribute to, uh, to all the people that he's
- 2:02:35Speaker 1: wrestled by using their finishing move neuvers Like I saw
- 2:02:38Speaker 1: him use a GTS, I've seen him use pop up
- 2:02:42Speaker 1: power bomb from KO. I'm like, I wondering what he's
- 2:02:44Speaker 1: gonna use the skull crushing finale. I mean I did
- 2:02:47Speaker 1: beat him in the main event of WrestleMania.
- 2:02:48Speaker 3: Yeah, have you mentioned it to him text every.
- 2:02:52Speaker 1: Day every time he sees me. I think I am
- 2:02:55Speaker 1: the one person like that was the right move. And
- 2:02:57Speaker 1: the only reason it was the right move is because
- 2:02:58Speaker 1: if Sina would have beaten me, would have been forgotten.
- 2:03:01Speaker 1: But I won't let you forget that right. And it
- 2:03:03Speaker 1: will go on and on and on for life, because
- 2:03:07Speaker 1: how many people can say they may invented WrestleMania, but
- 2:03:10Speaker 1: not only may invented WrestleMania as a bad guy one.
- 2:03:14Speaker 1: I think there's maybe two or three people that it's
- 2:03:18Speaker 1: crazy world. And I'm that guy. The kid from Parma, Ohio.
- 2:03:21Speaker 1: You got him know.
- 2:03:22Speaker 3: Every time he was fan Miami fan, Stanford.
- 2:03:24Speaker 1: Fan, Stanford said Stanford, I think you made that up.
- 2:03:28Speaker 3: We can go back. He said something about Stanford.
- 2:03:31Speaker 1: You went to acting school there, you went to MC
- 2:03:35Speaker 1: school at Stanford University. Definitely didn't say that, did I.
- 2:03:40Speaker 4: He'll know because you.
- 2:03:43Speaker 3: And I'm gonna want to text say.
- 2:03:45Speaker 1: You were right. No, there's no way.
- 2:03:48Speaker 3: Do you guys heard Stanford? Correct? Yes?
- 2:03:50Speaker 4: Was it Stanford Connecticut?
- 2:03:51Speaker 1: Maybe Stanford? Yeah, Stanford, Connecticut, Sam Stamford, Stanford, Stamford, Stanford, Stanford, Connecticut.
- 2:03:59Speaker 1: Where's the way to the Stanford.
- 2:04:05Speaker 4: The only text they need out of you is just
- 2:04:07Speaker 4: when as John is as Johnson is doing everybody else's
- 2:04:10Speaker 4: signature moves, you shoot him a text can't wait to
- 2:04:12Speaker 4: see mine.
- 2:04:13Speaker 1: Oh, I've already talked about it. Okay, good area, I've
- 2:04:16Speaker 1: already mentioned it to him a couple of times.
- 2:04:17Speaker 3: How was he receptive to the idea?
- 2:04:19Speaker 1: Of course? I love that John's always recepted to everything.
- 2:04:22Speaker 3: Really yes, first rule?
- 2:04:24Speaker 1: So yes, yeah, oh yes, very good. You've went, You've been.
- 2:04:29Speaker 3: I love it, Yeah, absolutely love it. I know we're
- 2:04:32Speaker 3: can get you out here in a second five ten
- 2:04:34Speaker 3: poll events. You guys have added this six? How did
- 2:04:36Speaker 3: this come about? Adding this six? Russell Palooza?
- 2:04:38Speaker 1: I think making a big deal uh for actually what
- 2:04:41Speaker 1: it is moving our ple e s to the ESPN
- 2:04:45Speaker 1: and finding something that kind of gravitates to ESPN. That's theirs,
- 2:04:49Speaker 1: right and Wreussell Palooza is it? Uh? It's in Indianapolis,
- 2:04:53Speaker 1: which honestly is a great sports spot.
- 2:04:56Speaker 3: It's actually a great city.
- 2:04:57Speaker 1: It's a great city, and I don't think it gets enough.
- 2:04:59Speaker 1: I think McAfee does a great job in promoting it.
- 2:05:02Speaker 1: I think the draft has done a great job in
- 2:05:04Speaker 1: promoting it. But like whenever we go there, the fans
- 2:05:07Speaker 1: are above and beyond. I mean we were just there
- 2:05:08Speaker 1: for Royal Rumble. We had seventy thousand in Lucas Oil
- 2:05:11Speaker 1: Stadium and so now to bring Russell Palooza and have
- 2:05:16Speaker 1: its entity come to Indianapolis for Russell Palooza, it's going
- 2:05:22Speaker 1: to be lights out. I mean, it is going to
- 2:05:24Speaker 1: be a show to be remembered. There will be moments
- 2:05:26Speaker 1: to take I mean we always say this like this
- 2:05:28Speaker 1: is our kind of thing, like you take away, Like
- 2:05:30Speaker 1: my job when I go in that ring is to
- 2:05:32Speaker 1: create a moment that will last a lifetime. What I
- 2:05:34Speaker 1: want is for families to be in the audience and
- 2:05:38Speaker 1: to be able to talk about the experience they had.
- 2:05:41Speaker 1: Something happened in the ring the miz did and the
- 2:05:44Speaker 1: father and son or the father and daughter, or the
- 2:05:49Speaker 1: mother and daughter and son, whatever it is, the family
- 2:05:52Speaker 1: gets to talk about that moment. And whether it's me
- 2:05:56Speaker 1: saying hey, kid, this is your hero, there's your hero,
- 2:05:59Speaker 1: your hero, or the hero being oh oh oh, something
- 2:06:04Speaker 1: along those lines. We create moments that last a lifetime.
- 2:06:07Speaker 1: So you can't put price tags on those because those
- 2:06:09Speaker 1: are the moment. Those are the memories that we have
- 2:06:11Speaker 1: with our kids, right Like I went to the water
- 2:06:13Speaker 1: park yesterday with my kids. I will remember these. That
- 2:06:16Speaker 1: is a memory I'll never forget, and I don't think
- 2:06:18Speaker 1: my kids will either. Me lugging up their rafts four
- 2:06:23Speaker 1: stories on those freaking stairs and then them being scared
- 2:06:28Speaker 1: and me like motivating them and being like, I know
- 2:06:31Speaker 1: you're scared. You know when I was your age, I
- 2:06:33Speaker 1: was scared too, But there's this is a moment that
- 2:06:36Speaker 1: you can You don't have to go down it, but
- 2:06:37Speaker 1: if you want to, and you wanted to down there,
- 2:06:40Speaker 1: you want to up here. I promise you you're not
- 2:06:42Speaker 1: going to get hurt. And then them going down, to
- 2:06:46Speaker 1: them jumping up and down in celebration that they did
- 2:06:49Speaker 1: something like that is I mean, I get goosebumps right now.
- 2:06:52Speaker 1: And my heart is filled with love right because seeing
- 2:06:56Speaker 1: them be scared of something and me being able to
- 2:06:59Speaker 1: motivate them and not something dangerous, but something that like,
- 2:07:04Speaker 1: I know they can do right, and I know they
- 2:07:06Speaker 1: just need to believe in themselves to do it. And
- 2:07:08Speaker 1: so that's those father moments where you're like, ahh, it's great.
- 2:07:13Speaker 1: So that's what I want families to have right, like,
- 2:07:16Speaker 1: not necessarily like that moment, but like a moment that
- 2:07:18Speaker 1: they can talk about and share for the rest of
- 2:07:20Speaker 1: their lives. That's what Wrestle Pollus.
- 2:07:23Speaker 3: Will that juices me up. Rus Paulo, ESPN, seven pm
- 2:07:28Speaker 3: Eastern Time. All right, this is the last question before
- 2:07:30Speaker 3: we get you out of here. We all know that
- 2:07:32Speaker 3: anybody would do anything for a nice cold bud light.
- 2:07:35Speaker 3: What is something you would do anything for? You can't
- 2:07:38Speaker 3: say family. We've had a lot of subjects on the show.
- 2:07:42Speaker 1: What would I do for a bud light?
- 2:07:43Speaker 3: What would you do anything for? Because people, we know
- 2:07:46Speaker 3: people do anything for a bud light? But what it
- 2:07:48Speaker 3: would the mis do anything for?
- 2:07:50Speaker 1: So obviously you do anything for your family? Yep, I
- 2:07:52Speaker 1: do anything for my.
- 2:07:53Speaker 3: Wife, that's but that's families. No, family, can't do that.
- 2:07:56Speaker 3: Can't say family, What I do anything for?
- 2:08:00Speaker 1: You know? I do anything for?
- 2:08:02Speaker 4: Tell me.
- 2:08:04Speaker 1: Just to relax, like my brain like and this can't happen,
- 2:08:09Speaker 1: but just to shut down my brain, to slow it
- 2:08:12Speaker 1: down and and just relax and just sit and just
- 2:08:16Speaker 1: I don't know, watch football or watch something that my
- 2:08:19Speaker 1: mind can just go at ease, Like I have a
- 2:08:22Speaker 1: hard time relaxing I'm never relaxed. I'm always on, whether
- 2:08:28Speaker 1: it's dad, husband, job, work, everything, boom boom boom, go
- 2:08:31Speaker 1: go go go, go, go go go, go, go, go
- 2:08:33Speaker 1: go go. And I feel like maybe you guys are
- 2:08:35Speaker 1: the same way because this whole thing that you guys
- 2:08:39Speaker 1: have going not just busting, but like your whole enterprise,
- 2:08:42Speaker 1: it's a lot of work. Yeah, takes a lot of
- 2:08:44Speaker 1: a lot of people to get that done, and a
- 2:08:46Speaker 1: lot of thinking and your family and your and your
- 2:08:48Speaker 1: friends and everything. It's just to set back and relax,
- 2:08:51Speaker 1: you know. You know what, Actually I got a better one, Okay,
- 2:08:54Speaker 1: because I was actually gonna do this with Miss Golf
- 2:08:57Speaker 1: with my dad. So my Dad's gonna be on Miss Golf, right,
- 2:09:00Speaker 1: and you'll get to see why I am the way
- 2:09:01Speaker 1: I am because of the way my dad literally coaches
- 2:09:04Speaker 1: me in golf and everything I do. Even though I'm
- 2:09:07Speaker 1: a profession wrestler. I would give anything to have a
- 2:09:12Speaker 1: dinner with my dad and just my dad. He will
- 2:09:16Speaker 1: not do it because I will go Dad, I'll come
- 2:09:19Speaker 1: home to Cleveland. I'll go Dad. Let's just let's just
- 2:09:21Speaker 1: go to dinner, okay, Mike, just me and you, Okay,
- 2:09:25Speaker 1: I go to that dinner. There's forty five people and
- 2:09:28Speaker 1: literally I'm shaking hands talking to people. These are all
- 2:09:32Speaker 1: his friends. He's proud, right, yeah, but he just he
- 2:09:36Speaker 1: doesn't get that I just want.
- 2:09:37Speaker 3: To hang out with him.
- 2:09:38Speaker 1: And it almost feels like, do you not want to
- 2:09:40Speaker 1: hang out with me? Right? You get what I'm saying. Like,
- 2:09:44Speaker 1: it's like, but he sees it as he talks about
- 2:09:47Speaker 1: me all the time, and my friends and family all
- 2:09:49Speaker 1: tell me he's always so proud. He talks about you.
- 2:09:51Speaker 1: All that doesn't tell me, but he tells everybody else.
- 2:09:55Speaker 1: And so it's like, hey, Mike, like, yeah, let's go
- 2:09:58Speaker 1: have dinner. Twenty five people show up. Don't worry about it,
- 2:10:02Speaker 1: says these are my buddies. Hey, this is my friend
- 2:10:04Speaker 1: that I've been talking about. Oh, here's your d Hey,
- 2:10:06Speaker 1: nice to meet you. Blah blah blah bla blah blah
- 2:10:08Speaker 1: bla bla blah blah blah blah bah. And by the
- 2:10:09Speaker 1: end of the night it's late. All right, I gotta go,
- 2:10:13Speaker 1: We gotta go. Didn't have that dinner, see what I'm saying. Yeah,
- 2:10:16Speaker 1: So that would be it, especially because my dad's getting
- 2:10:19Speaker 1: older and I read something the internet is a crazy
- 2:10:22Speaker 1: place right when she starts frolling, Man, you get sucked in.
- 2:10:25Speaker 4: Actually just got the amount of times you see him.
- 2:10:27Speaker 1: I don't live in Cleveland. We all have I don't
- 2:10:29Speaker 1: live in Cleveland. I live in Las Vegas. Now I'm
- 2:10:34Speaker 1: going to see my dad. How many times he's seventy
- 2:10:37Speaker 1: something years old? How many times will I will see him?
- 2:10:41Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:10:42Speaker 1: Rick, we'll see him twice a year, twice a year.
- 2:10:44Speaker 3: Yeah if that average age is seventy six, so he's
- 2:10:49Speaker 3: seventy two.
- 2:10:50Speaker 4: Right, So you gotta assume just a hand.
- 2:10:52Speaker 1: And any well he was he just had cancer on
- 2:10:59Speaker 1: his but he got his kidney taken out. He didn't
- 2:11:02Speaker 1: need to go through chemo or anything like that. So
- 2:11:05Speaker 1: that's that. But he always tells me. He's like, I'm tired.
- 2:11:07Speaker 1: I'm always tired. And I'm like I'm trying to think, like, uh,
- 2:11:11Speaker 1: maybe are you sleeping enough? I'm sleeping enough. Are you
- 2:11:13Speaker 1: eat what are you eating? Are you eating the right foods?
- 2:11:16Speaker 1: He's like, I think, so are you drinking enough water?
- 2:11:18Speaker 1: Like you're you're going through all the all the motions
- 2:11:21Speaker 1: and all that stuff. But it's like how and so
- 2:11:23Speaker 1: we're gonna play golf eighteen holes and he's like, well,
- 2:11:25Speaker 1: I got a card game the day before, Mike, so uh,
- 2:11:28Speaker 1: I'm like, Dad, can you not do the card game.
- 2:11:31Speaker 1: He's like yeah, but I'll be down. I'll be down
- 2:11:32Speaker 1: two thirty. And I'm like, we're playing at eight thirty
- 2:11:34Speaker 1: in the morning, so I'll be all right. I'm like, okay, Dad, okay, yeah,
- 2:11:38Speaker 1: all right. So we'll play eighteen holes and see how
- 2:11:41Speaker 1: that goes. But I think my bet is going to
- 2:11:43Speaker 1: be if I win, he has to have dinner with me.
- 2:11:48Speaker 1: But if he wins, I'll do an autograph signing for
- 2:11:51Speaker 1: him wherever whenever.
- 2:11:53Speaker 4: I love that think, no matter what, we got to
- 2:11:55Speaker 4: clip this for you, so that way you can just
- 2:11:56Speaker 4: hey Dad, I'm done this fucking.
- 2:11:59Speaker 1: So here's what we'll have. My family will send it
- 2:12:02Speaker 1: to him. God, don't worry about blah blah blah blah.
- 2:12:05Speaker 1: It's fine though.
- 2:12:06Speaker 3: Yeah, it's fine, guys, it's fine.
- 2:12:09Speaker 4: It's fine with you.
- 2:12:14Speaker 3: I hope you get moment.
- 2:12:16Speaker 1: You know that?
- 2:12:17Speaker 3: Did he really?
- 2:12:17Speaker 1: Yes, my dad had a WrestleMania moment. I put him
- 2:12:21Speaker 1: into a match at WrestleMania Met Life Stadium, me versus
- 2:12:25Speaker 1: Shane McMahon, and I told him if Shane starts beating
- 2:12:32Speaker 1: me up. You will walk in the ring and this
- 2:12:34Speaker 1: is what. So I told him to put up his
- 2:12:36Speaker 1: dukes and he put him up, like like like this
- 2:12:39Speaker 1: became a meme. By the way, this is a meme,
- 2:12:41Speaker 1: like it was the biggest most talked about picture, Like
- 2:12:45Speaker 1: look look the way he's standing like this is like,
- 2:12:47Speaker 1: get get a bit, like.
- 2:12:48Speaker 4: This is awesome.
- 2:12:52Speaker 1: I told him this duke's up. He puts up like
- 2:12:54Speaker 1: a nineteen forties like boxer, come on, put up, put
- 2:12:56Speaker 1: him up, put up. So so yeah, like he got
- 2:12:59Speaker 1: in there and uh, that became a viral moment, probably
- 2:13:02Speaker 1: the most viral moment at that WrestleMania. And He's like, Mike,
- 2:13:05Speaker 1: I was in the ring for five seconds. I became
- 2:13:07Speaker 1: a viral moment. And you've been doing this for how long? Yeah?
- 2:13:10Speaker 1: How many times have you gotten that big of a reaction.
- 2:13:14Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my.
- 2:13:14Speaker 3: God, Yeah, look at that is awesome.
- 2:13:18Speaker 1: That's actually not really I know, I know that's ai.
- 2:13:21Speaker 1: He never got into the ring with Lessner looking.
- 2:13:23Speaker 4: Brock Lesler right there.
- 2:13:24Speaker 3: Yeah, there a mass of a man. Dude. We appreciate
- 2:13:28Speaker 3: you coming the show works.
