Grant Road’s major makeover is nearly complete—phases three and four are wrapping up with final paving starting Monday, August 31st, through Friday, September 11th. Expect lane shifts and driveway disruptions. A key closure: Alvernon Way at Grant Road will be shut down northbound and southbound Sept 11–12. The project, launched in March 2011, aims to widen the road to six lanes, add safer crossings for bikes and pedestrians, and enhance landscaping.
