- 1:04Mac and Jack Show. I'm Sonya Jack.
- 1:07Good morning again. I hope you have had a nice
- 1:10little break there. Since we didn't film on Monday,
- 1:13we had to re air. Thanks to everybody for all the
- 1:15support on that show. Today's Wednesday May 28th, 2025
- 1:21and we are talking sports an abbreviated show today.
- 1:23So let's get started. NBA playoffs Knicks get a
- 1:27surprise that are now down 31. Jack to take it back to the
- 1:31Garden. Sonia, it's like a soap opera
- 1:34since we last did a show. The Knicks win a hole, then
- 1:39they're in a hole again. They win the 2, nothing hole,
- 1:41but not in the three, one hole. There's no long any margin for
- 1:45error. And last last night's game, in a
- 1:49sense, pointed out what the modern NBA is all about.
- 1:53I mean, it's not so much, you know, moving the ball around,
- 1:57creating the best shot. And I get it with analytics to a
- 2:01point that if you take more 3 point shots, it's one extra
- 2:05point. They have a way of figuring
- 2:07these things out. Like let's say you take 3, you
- 2:12take 10 shots, you make 3 out of 10, three pointers.
- 2:16That's a total of nine points. You'd have to make five out of
- 2:2010/2 pointers to get 10 points, just one point more.
- 2:24But what that doesn't take into consideration is getting fouled.
- 2:28You rarely get fouled on the three pointer.
- 2:30And I, I don't mind teams taking a lot of three-point shots as
- 2:36long as they're open. But there's so many of these
- 2:38shots that are forced like yesterday.
- 2:41And the Knicks just got to get it back together.
- 2:44They play tomorrow night. I, I think they'll do well at
- 2:47Madison Square Garden tomorrow night.
- 2:49I can't. They're visualizing them losing
- 2:52all three games at the Garden. But if they do bow out in five
- 2:56games and they've lost all three at Madison Square Garden, it's
- 3:01hard for me to imagine them standing pat in the offseason.
- 3:04They're going to want to make some type of a move, and what's
- 3:09the move going to be? Who are they going to trade in
- 3:11reality? I mean, what's going to be
- 3:14available for them? There's all this talk about
- 3:16Giannis coming to the Knicks. Will the Knicks do a blockbuster
- 3:20deal, You know, add Mikkel Bridges, for example, on the
- 3:25Nobi or whoever else in the couple of number ones to try to
- 3:30get Giannis. You know, they they would have
- 3:33the chips actually to pull off a deal, OK in that case.
- 3:37But it's hard to see him standing path if they go out in
- 3:40five games, you know, But if they extend the series and they
- 3:45lose it, maybe they come back with the same crew next year.
- 3:49Or maybe the simplest move, Sonia Ball, you know it better
- 3:52than anyone. You change coaches.
- 3:55That's the simplest move of all. I mean, Tom Thibodeau has a a
- 4:00record of not resting his vet in time.
- 4:03Jack, literally they're in foul trouble.
- 4:06He doesn't want to pull pull them from the game.
- 4:08I think it may be a situation where you're just looking at a
- 4:11fatigued Knicks team. I mean, they've played high
- 4:14pace. They've had to come back from
- 4:16some big deficit. And I mean, I get it, he's
- 4:19desperate to win his championship, but at what
- 4:22expense? I mean, Tyrese Halliburton was
- 4:24unstoppable with 32 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds, no
- 4:29turnovers. That's a triple double and
- 4:32literally no turnover. He's going to be the first
- 4:35player in the NBA history that has those 30 points, 15 assists
- 4:39and 10 rebounds with no turnover.
- 4:41He made history last night, Jack, at the expense of that
- 4:44same Knicks team. Yeah, the last couple of games
- 4:47he has been playing is Bench Moore, an all fan at the time,
- 4:51Thibodeau. OK, he has tried to mix things
- 4:54up in Game 3, you know. You know, he sat Brunson out a
- 5:00little longer in the fourth period than people would have
- 5:03normally anticipated because his bench was doing well.
- 5:07So I, I don't know if that's a knock on him for the last couple
- 5:11of games at least. You know what, Mr. Brunson
- 5:14coming to the game yesterday, I can understand that being
- 5:18mentioned. But they kept putting him on
- 5:20camera. The guy acted like a complete
- 5:23jerk and they glorify it. You know what that means, Sonia,
- 5:27Mr. Branson is going to get a spot on ESPN, you know, one of
- 5:32these talk shows and all because that's what that's what sports
- 5:35is today. The people who, you know, act
- 5:38foolishly, you know, usually get these opportunities, you know,
- 5:42more or less the bad, bad boys of sports.
- 5:46You could call it that way. He's definitely going to get
- 5:51that. I mean, anytime they're showing
- 5:53them like that, look at the panel that's up there now, all
- 5:57former players, all former AKA cameraman, just always in the
- 6:02camera, always in the spotlight. And that's how they usually
- 6:05choose their panel. If, in my opinion, Jack.
- 6:07Oh yeah, the guys like the Draymond Green sort constantly
- 6:12being 1/2 of. The point we just.
- 6:14Play prominently. And then, all fairness, Charles
- 6:17Barkley, who I think is a great guy now, a great individual, was
- 6:21a knucklehead when he played. The comments he'd make, he
- 6:24criticizes other people. But Charles Barkley, during the
- 6:27Olympics, he hit an overmatched play.
- 6:30I forgot the country with an elbow in the chest, a hot elbow
- 6:34deliberately. And that team was so
- 6:36overmatched. The player didn't do anything to
- 6:39Barkley. And Barkley wanted to get his
- 6:42respect. He was claiming, are you, you
- 6:44you try to do something to me, I'm going to give it back to
- 6:47you. And replay showed none of that
- 6:49went on. But that was Barkley at the
- 6:51time. He's turned into a great guy.
- 6:54No, since then. But, you know, you want to.
- 6:56They like big personalities like the Michael Urban's, you know,
- 7:00constantly got into difficulty, you know, off the field.
- 7:03But of course, that's his ticket to, you know, getting one of
- 7:08these plum jobs, you know, the sports and Keyshawn Johnson, you
- 7:12know, not a good teammate, you know, at all when he was with
- 7:16The Jets, not to Wayne Cabet at least.
- 7:19And you know, and he was a bit of a lightning rod.
- 7:22He gets a position, you know, sports talks so on.
- 7:26Maybe, maybe, maybe that's maybe that's good in a sense, Sonia,
- 7:30when I give you a hard time, maybe that's my ticket to
- 7:33getting somewhere. Maybe so, maybe so.
- 7:37And we want to apologize because we're having some connection
- 7:40issues to the Roku Channel. I've tried a few times.
- 7:43So we're going to have to rebroadcast this a little bit
- 7:45later on. So for our Roku audience, we
- 7:48apologize. You were watching the re air.
- 7:51But good morning to everyone watching on all the social media
- 7:53platforms. Karl Anthony Towns, Jack just
- 7:57still re injured. That right knee coming out
- 8:01pretty gingerly actually looks like a bit bothering him
- 8:04sometime during the fourth quarter.
- 8:06Do you think that's impactful for the game going forward?
- 8:10Yeah, I do it. Most likelihood it is when I saw
- 8:16him hobbling around when he got up, my reaction was take him
- 8:20out, take him out. I don't mean he had an injury
- 8:24per say that he was putting himself on this severe
- 8:28additional risk. I don't know, but he was in bad
- 8:32shape hobbling around. He's going to be very sore.
- 8:35He's going to be very sore. But you have the credit to Karl
- 8:38Anthony Towns. He had such heart and so on to
- 8:42want to stay in there. He willed himself to staying in
- 8:45there, but the bottom line is how effective can Karl Anthony
- 8:49Towns be if he's hurt like that? But of course the trainers, you
- 8:54know, I'll be working on them till the next game and he'll be
- 8:59in as good as shape I guess if he can be considering, you know,
- 9:04the knock he took. But if he's really sore, it's
- 9:07going to hurt him a little more on the defensive end.
- 9:10He could always, you know, line up and shoot, you know, make
- 9:14some 3 pointers, you know, grab some rebounds that are coming in
- 9:18his direction, but he's going to, you know, lack a little more
- 9:22mobility. You know, for the Knicks for
- 9:24game five, they really got to come out and set the tone
- 9:28immediately because in every game in this series, except
- 9:32maybe the game one, Indiana set the tone in the beginning, OK?
- 9:37And the Knicks never got off to this start the way they did in
- 9:40game six. You know, kind of like against
- 9:42Boston, just set the tone immediately, get off to a lead,
- 9:47have the Garden crowd roaring you.
- 9:50The Knicks got to take command of this game.
- 9:52They got to take command of game five from the outset.
- 9:56For the most part, I don't go for this one game at a time
- 10:00nonsense because who you're fooling when you're down 3
- 10:04nothing or three one in the series.
- 10:07Every player knows the mountain ahead of them.
- 10:10OK, you really do. But but I do agree in this
- 10:14point, if you think of the whole big picture, you're practically
- 10:18doomed. And the Knicks can't think that
- 10:21while we have to win three games in a row.
- 10:24And I know I'm being a contradictory to what I'm
- 10:27talking now, but when game five, you know, put all your energy
- 10:31into Game 5 and then think we have to win the next two games.
- 10:37Don't think one game at a time because that's going to wear you
- 10:39out mentally. Game at a time, game at a time,
- 10:43game at a time. It's so much, so much harder to
- 10:47get up for you multiple games as it is for one game.
- 10:53So let the next take care of business in Game 5.
- 10:56And I think we got to win the next two games because if it's
- 10:59only two games, Sonia, you can see the finish line, you can see
- 11:03the finish line and thinking we have a chance to get there
- 11:07first. But if it's three games, you
- 11:10can't see the the finish line looks so far away.
- 11:14I mean, it's extremely difficult, Jack.
- 11:15We've talked about this in other matchups, and it's proven true.
- 11:18When you're down 31, the statistics are against you.
- 11:22I've always made the pun the entire finals here.
- 11:26I want to say post season, but it's finals for NBA that the
- 11:29Pacers have literally kept pace and you have to keep up with
- 11:33their pace if you want to beat the Pacers.
- 11:35They've set the pace, you know, no pun intended.
- 11:38And they've literally gotten it done.
- 11:39And of course, this is, you know, they're one game away from
- 11:43the championship game. Well, I don't think it was
- 11:46fatigue at all yesterday because especially in the 4th period of
- 11:52the game, there was a lot of fouls.
- 11:54There was a lot of place going to the foul line and Indiana was
- 11:58fouling. And when they and when the
- 12:00Knicks went to the foul line or the Pacers went to the foul
- 12:03line, it did slow down the pace of the game.
- 12:06It wasn't the type of fast-paced game where teams are running one
- 12:10another ragged. In the beginning of the game,
- 12:13the teams were running a lot of running up and down the court
- 12:16and the Knicks were initiating a lot of that.
- 12:18They were fine with that as well.
- 12:21But at the end of the game, it wasn't a case of the Knicks
- 12:23being tired. You know, it had so much to do
- 12:27with shot selection and three pointers were being rushed by
- 12:33the next. Mikkel Bridges would try to do
- 12:36an imitation of Michael Jordan dribbling from one side of the
- 12:39basket to the other, then trying to, you know, make a turn around
- 12:43jumper. You know, I, I just didn't like
- 12:46this. The shot selection, you know, in
- 12:49a, in a lot of cases, the shooting percentage at the end
- 12:53wasn't that bad. What did Indiana shoot 51 to 46%
- 12:58to the next? Set.
- 13:00Yeah, I mean, that's close enough, but it could have been
- 13:03better on the Knicks end of it, you know?
- 13:06And listen, I'm a big believer in these playoff games.
- 13:11Every team has one big game in them where, you know, if the
- 13:16teams are pretty evenly matched, where not every game in the
- 13:20series is necessarily going to be close or one team's going to
- 13:23blow the other team out. Like in the last series, the
- 13:26Knicks and Boston, when the Knicks up three one, I said
- 13:30Boston's got one big game in them where they're going to just
- 13:33blow the Knicks out. And they did it in game five.
- 13:36And the Knicks had one big game in them where they were going to
- 13:40could blow Boston out. And that was Game 6.
- 13:42I think Game 5 is the game that Knicks have one big game in them
- 13:47where they're going to beat Indiana decisive.
- 13:50But then, you know, then there's Game 6 and that chances are
- 13:55that's going to be a whole different story with the Knicks
- 13:58be able to eke out a win there. But let's not get ahead of
- 14:01ourselves. They've got to win game five and
- 14:05for more ways than one. I mean, if the Knicks lose the
- 14:08series, it's a bad blow. But how they lose the series
- 14:13counts for something. As we talked about early in this
- 14:16show, Sonia, if you lose it in six to seven games, it was kind
- 14:21of like a fight, a battle. You could say we're as good as
- 14:25they were, but we just happened to lose the series.
- 14:28I, I think we're better than these guys.
- 14:30We should beat them. But if you leave, lose the
- 14:33series in five games, you can't turn around and stay.
- 14:37We're better than these guys. We should have beat them because
- 14:40you would have lost four games to 1, four games to 1's, not
- 14:43close at the end. Yeah, I I always say Jack, in my
- 14:48opinion, if you allow an opponent to get up three one,
- 14:53you are really delaying the inevitable whether you get beat
- 14:56in the next game or the final game.
- 15:00In my mind you not well, I guess if you go down to the to game
- 15:03seven, that means you've you've fought back, you've come back.
- 15:07But if you go out in Game 5 or Game six, those are the two
- 15:11games that you literally have just delayed the inevitable
- 15:14because they're already up so many games.
- 15:17I mean, I know we want to take this one game at a time, but it
- 15:20has to be in their minds that we have to win out at this point.
- 15:24They have to, yeah. This is it.
- 15:27There's no margin, Avera. You know, we keep hearing about
- 15:33must games, must games, must games, and Reality Stone.
- 15:36The only must game is when you're facing elimination.
- 15:40It's then, you know, then it's the moment of truth.
- 15:44Teams can win three in a row in situations like this and they
- 15:48have. I mean, listen, there was what
- 15:51like what, 3-4 years ago whenever, when Miami played, you
- 15:56know, Boston in the in the finals that, you know, Miami
- 16:01went up 3 nothing. Boston won the next three games,
- 16:05you know, and then Miami won a game seven in Boston.
- 16:09But you know, 3 in the rows do a bowl.
- 16:12You know, it's all mindset. Just win game five.
- 16:16You know what makes this game extra important for the next?
- 16:18Not just staving off elimination.
- 16:21It's being at Madison Square Garden.
- 16:24You're it's going to be a long winter.
- 16:27They. Lost all three games at the
- 16:29Garden. That's the mystique.
- 16:32You know, yesterday, Sonia, I went out with a friend of mine
- 16:35for lunch and he's, I haven't seen him for a while.
- 16:38He's talking basketball to me. I wish Keith Vander was here to
- 16:42hear this. And this is what drives me crazy
- 16:45because if the Knicks are still down through one, then he says
- 16:48to me immediately, I could be a brace if at times, as you know.
- 16:53But when he says to me, he says, well, the Knicks need today's
- 16:56game to win, to regain homecourt advantage, it's it's as if Keith
- 17:04Angle planted that in my friend to talk the heck with homecourt
- 17:10advantage. And you know the way it tells me
- 17:13if the Knicks lose game five, I don't want to hear about
- 17:16homecourt advantage again, about Madison Square Garden ever being
- 17:21an advantage. To the next.
- 17:22Again, I do not want to hear it. OK, they better.
- 17:29There is no homecourt. You know, even though if they
- 17:32lose this series in six games to Indiana, at least they would
- 17:35have won game five at the Garden.
- 17:38But if they lose all three at the Garden, I mean, what's the
- 17:42mystique? A point of Madison Square gone
- 17:44and and the Knicks arguably have the best fan base in the world
- 17:49for any team sport, for sport. They've stuck with this team.
- 17:54They've cheered for this team that it's rare with a level
- 17:57Buddhist team. It's a great it's an underrated
- 18:00fan base. The Knick fan base.
- 18:03It it it's absolutely fantastic. I mean, they're loyal to the
- 18:07Knicks. The Knicks charge sky high
- 18:10prices making it so difficult to go to a Knick game and and they
- 18:15deserve better than this. They.
- 18:19Still pack the stadiums. Well, the arena that Madison W
- 18:24Garden and you know, and it's a magic place to play.
- 18:28You kind of wonder the Pacers mindset in this in game five.
- 18:32I know they're going to say all the right things.
- 18:36We're going to hear it's far from over.
- 18:38It's not far from over. Yep, 3/1 you're close, you're
- 18:42close and not none of this nonsense with that, it's far
- 18:46from over. And then you you're getting
- 18:48Reggie Miller, he's doing the broadcast, you know, the TNT.
- 18:54And it's a very sensitive issue because Reggie Miller is a Pacer
- 18:58icon, arguably a probably the greatest Indiana Pacer in team
- 19:04history. You know, but and Reggie Miller,
- 19:08when the Pacers had a 13 point lead, you know, in, in in the
- 19:13second-half, he's saying it's it, it means nothing at all.
- 19:19What do you mean it means nothing at all?
- 19:21Reggie, it's a 13 point lead. Don't come here.
- 19:23It means nothing at all. I mean that you can put it in
- 19:27other way. It meant something, you know,
- 19:30because Indiana was protecting the cushion.
- 19:32I know a team to come back from it.
- 19:34But Reggie Miller's doing a good job.
- 19:37Kudos to him, is a broadcaster. He's being very sensitive to
- 19:43call it down the middle. He's shown no favoritism towards
- 19:47the paces in this broadcast. He's trying to be very
- 19:51professional. And Reggie Miller, you know, is
- 19:54doing a good job. And you know, too, they were
- 19:57pointing out yesterday they were letting the players play to a
- 20:01large degree. And in my view there was certain
- 20:04contacts being made. You know, but how foul the call
- 20:09has to change. One play is dribbling.
- 20:13It's like. They move into another player
- 20:17and the players on defense who can't help it, he's not
- 20:20initiating. The contacts been being called
- 20:23for fouls. And I think it's the old NBA
- 20:27theory. Whenever there's contact,
- 20:29somebody has to get blamed. It's like the teacher.
- 20:32It's like the teacher riding on the blackboard and someone
- 20:36throws a spit ball at the teacher.
- 20:38The teacher doesn't know who it is.
- 20:40The someone gets pointed out and has to get blamed.
- 20:44Yes, I mean, it's the same thing.
- 20:46And you know what, Jack? To that same end, New York
- 20:49through a challenge and won the challenge and still lost the
- 20:54time out. And it's like, how in the world
- 20:59do you throw a challenge and you're still punished for it?
- 21:02It's a way to discourage you from questioning the rest.
- 21:05Somebody's got to step in to balance this thing out.
- 21:09It's hard to ref basketball. I mean really hard.
- 21:12I know the officials have a hard job.
- 21:15I'm glad the NBA enacted some type of challenge.
- 21:18But, you know, the NBA players are so good, they can very you
- 21:25know, the way they hook one another's arms quickly and it
- 21:28doesn't look intentional, but they have a way of, you know,
- 21:32disrupting shots. But with, you know, with the
- 21:37well, there's another game tonight, Sony, another series
- 21:40going on Minnesota and OK C and you know, I picked the
- 21:44Timberwolves to win this series going in.
- 21:47I can't see him doing it anymore.
- 21:49So I can't see them doing it anymore because the Timberwolves
- 21:55for years have had something that's kind of been haunting and
- 22:00that's inconsistency. I mean, they'll show up for one
- 22:03night and they're going to look great.
- 22:05They'll really look great. But they don't keep it going, it
- 22:08seems, for multiple games. You know, and I know, I know
- 22:12what they did in the past series, like with the Lakers and
- 22:16so on. But Anthony Edwards Game 4, you
- 22:20know, if you're a star, you're supposed to take the most shots.
- 22:24You're supposed to initiate the things you know the most.
- 22:28I mean, you know, he's acting like a point guard, a point
- 22:32guard that's not a shoe. They're not a scorer.
- 22:35And the Timberwolves don't have a high-powered offense without
- 22:39Anthony Edwards supplying it. And he he's acting more like a
- 22:43facilitator, you know, in game four.
- 22:46And they didn't need that and missed the opportunity.
- 22:50They lose a squeaker to OK C. Now they're down 31.
- 22:53And homecourt does mean something here.
- 22:56This to the next three games would be an OK C.
- 23:00If the Timberwolves have to come back and win three in a row,
- 23:04that's too much of A mountain to climb.
- 23:07After win game five and OK C, I don't that's going to be hard to
- 23:13do. And then they got to go back to
- 23:15Minnesota and win a Game 6 and then go to OK C and win a
- 23:19deciding game. No, OK C when they got blown out
- 23:22by over like 43 points in game three, they just put it out of
- 23:27their mind. It was a throwaway game to them
- 23:30and they came back more determined in game four to show
- 23:34what they were made of. Yeah, definitely.
- 23:37I mean, 3-1, we, we talk about that all the time.
- 23:39OK, C is only 48 minutes away from finalizing this thing.
- 23:44Of course, tonight they kick off at 8:30 and Shay, Gilgus,
- 23:49Alexander, I mean, he's been the star of this thing.
- 23:53We talked about Anthony Edwards as well.
- 23:55But I mean, SGA has been the the game changer on this top seeded
- 24:02team. Supreme player now he may be the
- 24:06one to, you know, end up letting this thing slip away.
- 24:10Timberwolves got a tough climb ahead.
- 24:12They got to look at their offensive issues and they got to
- 24:15win three straight. I know we said one game at a
- 24:17time, but if they had not dropped that many in a row this
- 24:21whole season, we're hoping that that kicks off here in the
- 24:24finals because they're going to need it because tonight could be
- 24:27it, Jack, once we're 26, very, very close.
- 24:31But the point is, they still got the L.
- 24:34Yeah, well, you know what I don't understand?
- 24:36Why doesn't anyone talk about SGA being the future face of the
- 24:40NBA talk? They talk about Anthony Edwards,
- 24:42and Anthony Edwards is a good team guy.
- 24:45You know, the trouble he has off the court and his personal
- 24:49issues. That's another area.
- 24:51I mean, that might affect them of being the face of the NBA.
- 24:54We don't know. But the truth of the matter is
- 24:58you have certain other star players in the past who had some
- 25:02big issues of their own and they became the face of the NBA.
- 25:06And I could point out to, you know, several of them if I
- 25:09wanted to, but I'd rather not. Doesn't mean that they're bad
- 25:13people at all. It doesn't mean that at all.
- 25:16But and and that's, and I mean that about Anthony Edwards.
- 25:20He's a real team guy. He tries to encourage his
- 25:23teammates and everything's involved.
- 25:25I'm just talking about how he is as a basketball player.
- 25:29SBA is better and but Anthony Edwards is more charismatic.
- 25:35SGA is not for whatever reason, he's not charismatic.
- 25:39He's just a great player and you know, not charismatic.
- 25:44I don't know why. He's just great, that's all.
- 25:47He is, but in, in certain positions.
- 25:50Jack, at least in the playoffs here when he doesn't have the
- 25:53room, if they block him in, if they play defense on him, he
- 25:57cannot make the big plays. I'm talking about Anthony
- 26:02Edwards. He can't get again, he can't get
- 26:05these buckets even understand he's the face of the NBA or
- 26:08they're looking at it. You know, Charles Barkley talked
- 26:11about this and he blasted people that are saying that because
- 26:15Edwards in the second-half of this game, in the first half,
- 26:17actually, he only had two shots in the first half, 13 for the
- 26:22game and only had 16 points. He didn't even hit his three
- 26:25pointers. How are you the face of the NBA
- 26:28when you can't even box out, you can't get against the defense,
- 26:32you can't zone out and you can't make the big plays?
- 26:36But but you know, we've seen after the Edwards take all the
- 26:39games in the past. In the past.
- 26:41Show that real stock quality and he's the one player that the
- 26:47Timberwolves build around. I mean, you know, teams have a
- 26:52player like that in OK C it's, you know, SGA, certain teams
- 26:57have cold players like that. The Celtics like Tatum and
- 27:00Brown. But you know, you look at the
- 27:02Milwaukee Bucks, they tried to build around Giannis.
- 27:05The Sixers didn't work out. They tried to build around and
- 27:09beat certain teams, try to have costars.
- 27:12And it doesn't work like Phoenix.
- 27:14There's a disaster with Devin Booker, you know, and Kevin
- 27:17Durant, you know, the Warriors always try to build around Steph
- 27:21Curry. They'll try that going forward.
- 27:25But, you know, but Anthony Edwards, you know, has got to
- 27:29take, you know, the next step at some point.
- 27:33And this was the year to do it. And you know, and he, he's a
- 27:37heck, he's a heck of a player. Anthony Edwards.
- 27:40I'm, I'm not criticizing if you tell me Anthony Edwards is one
- 27:43of the top ten players in the NBA.
- 27:46Maybe he sneaks into the top 10, but he's not this superstar that
- 27:53everyone is, you know, just about projecting him to be.
- 27:57Let's talk about one of his one of his counterparts here that as
- 28:02we get ready to kind of the last couple of minutes here, we're
- 28:04going to have an abbreviated show here today.
- 28:06Jack and myself, we have some obligations this morning, but
- 28:09we'll be up with you on Friday. I'm Julius Randle, I mean,
- 28:13cannot dribble very well, but one of the hottest players in
- 28:16the postseason just did not. The coach Finch did not even go
- 28:21with him because he is dribbling was so bad that every time he
- 28:25got the ball he was attacked. The Thunder just 28 minutes was
- 28:29all he had just OK C just obliterated him at half time.
- 28:34He only had five points. They literally put the ice in on
- 28:38Julius Randle and I think with them ice in that offense like
- 28:42that, this may be a run that is unstoppable for the T Wolves
- 28:45tonight, Jack. Yeah, well, the T Wolves are
- 28:48relying on their bench. That was somewhat effective.
- 28:52And like we said in the past show, you know, you kind of wait
- 28:55for Rudy, go Bass, that pop, come on, that pop, I, I know
- 29:01he's basically a rim protector. You have him there, you know,
- 29:04for defense, rebounds, etcetera. But they need him to be a little
- 29:08more of an offensive presence, getting the ball inside, because
- 29:12that would open things up a little more.
- 29:15You know, he just hasn't delivered that way.
- 29:18Yeah, of course. OK, See in the Thunder tonight.
- 29:21Umm, this May. Excuse me.
- 29:23OK, see in the Timberwolves tonight, this may be the finale
- 29:27for that game, 8:30 PM Eastern Standard Time.
- 29:30Jack, it's always great to have you right here by my side.
- 29:34Great show, great morning to all.
- 29:35We will see you guys show throughout today.
- 29:38Premier proper sports tonight at 9, the big football, big sports
- 29:42show midday at six. And Jack, myself and Keith Angle
- 29:45will join you guys on Friday. And with that, we bid you all a
- 29:48good day.
