- 0:47Speaker 1: Boutlet Cavs Show, Bootlet Camp Podcast. This guy a legend,
- 0:51Speaker 1: carried New York on his back for the better part
- 0:53Speaker 1: of the last you know, I don't know, there was
- 0:55Speaker 1: like a nice little seven or eight year run there
- 0:57Speaker 1: where you were the face of the whole shit, you know.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Montana, we ain't going nowhere.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Welcome to Heah, listen this Cooke Wave three point five
- 1:05Speaker 1: is uh. You guys delivered, That's all I'll say.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Man, thank you, Bro.
- 1:09Speaker 1: That means a lot in an era where a lot
- 1:11Speaker 1: of people who put out albums with a lot of
- 1:13Speaker 1: anticipation don't necessarily deliver. Man, this was exactly what I
- 1:17Speaker 1: feel like. Yeah, you guys picked right back up. It's
- 1:20Speaker 1: a certain sound, yeah, and it's elevated. Man. Yeah, the
- 1:23Speaker 1: production is so crazy on this album. Man, shots to
- 1:26Speaker 1: everybody like Metro obviously, Harry fraud like.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Yeah, Grease shot, Johnny Goldstein shot, yeah, shot to everybody
- 1:33Speaker 2: to play the part.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Man, is that sound?
- 1:36Speaker 3: Does that sound that we me and my boy get
- 1:38Speaker 3: in there?
- 1:38Speaker 1: Man?
- 1:38Speaker 3: We just got that. You know.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I was gonna ask you like for you like, you know,
- 1:42Speaker 1: obviously you and Max talk all the time and he's incarcerated,
- 1:44Speaker 1: but he gets out, Like is there any sort of
- 1:46Speaker 1: hiccups in the chemistry or is it like kind of
- 1:49Speaker 1: picking up Like.
- 1:50Speaker 2: I kind of like kept them in in the loop
- 1:52Speaker 2: throughout the whole time when he was locked up. Like
- 1:54Speaker 2: every time before I put out something, you know, we
- 1:57Speaker 2: would go through this and that. Like when we did
- 1:58Speaker 2: Wave Guards, he hosted it. He was he had a
- 2:02Speaker 2: song damn now and everything that I dropped. But he
- 2:06Speaker 2: every time he writes something, he would hit me be like, yo,
- 2:08Speaker 2: listen to this. Then he'd be doing features from there.
- 2:11Speaker 2: And I mean he was always in the loop. I
- 2:13Speaker 2: mean I just think that we like musically inclined, right.
- 2:17Speaker 2: It's like, you know, we always me and him been
- 2:19Speaker 2: digging into crate since day one, and we always kind
- 2:22Speaker 2: of match with the with the with with with the
- 2:24Speaker 2: sonic and the sound. So it's always that frequency of
- 2:27Speaker 2: me and him, like we kind of like grew up
- 2:29Speaker 2: on the same music.
- 2:30Speaker 1: You have one of the best ears for production, I
- 2:32Speaker 1: feel like, especially when it like like just underrated with
- 2:35Speaker 1: your ear when it comes to picking. Like I think
- 2:37Speaker 1: back to that Montaga album was fucking crazy Harry Frog,
- 2:40Speaker 1: Oh my god, such a slept on project.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Yea, yeah, yeah for sure.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I mean it's like like like Max Will says, a
- 2:46Speaker 2: late bloom.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Yeah, but it was it was solid. But for you,
- 2:50Speaker 1: like what is it about your ear? And like the
- 2:54Speaker 1: beat peak picking selection, like, like, do you know exactly
- 2:57Speaker 1: what you're looking for? How involved are you? Especially on
- 2:59Speaker 1: this album? Was you and Max going through beats?
- 3:02Speaker 3: It was? It was. It was definitely a collaboration. You
- 3:05Speaker 3: know what I'm saying.
- 3:06Speaker 2: It's definitely a collaboration. But he's been he's been locked
- 3:08Speaker 2: up for so long. I had so so many beats,
- 3:10Speaker 2: Like every time doing the album or something, there will
- 3:13Speaker 2: be joints. I'll just be like, oh, I can't do
- 3:15Speaker 2: this by myself. I gotta just put this away, put
- 3:17Speaker 2: it in his sick Yeah. So I had a bunch
- 3:19Speaker 2: of those just just just to the side. But as
- 3:21Speaker 2: far as picking beats, yeah, he's he's he's immaculate with
- 3:23Speaker 2: it too.
- 3:24Speaker 3: He like he goes in digging the crazy and he
- 3:26Speaker 3: be pulling out some ships sometimes to be like, how
- 3:28Speaker 3: the fuck you got that? Especially West Coast.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I was gonna say that. Ever since you left
- 3:32Speaker 1: me record, I feel like we're in it. We have
- 3:34Speaker 1: so much like lack of tempo right now. Yeah, like
- 3:37Speaker 1: when you go to the fucking club dog like it's depressing. Yeah,
- 3:42Speaker 1: And yeah, y'all gave us a record that is obviously yeah,
- 3:46Speaker 1: it's it's got West Coast bounce to it, and do
- 3:49Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, do and it got like, uh,
- 3:52Speaker 1: we know the sample a generational bridge. Yeah, you know
- 3:56Speaker 1: what I'm saying.
- 3:57Speaker 2: You got certain people that relate to this sample and
- 3:59Speaker 2: you got uh the gen zs they relate to the
- 4:02Speaker 2: bounce because it's a new bounce. That's that's that's what
- 4:05Speaker 2: they using a drill too. You know, it's like everything
- 4:08Speaker 2: comes together in that record.
- 4:11Speaker 1: What was the process like getting Metro Booming to come
- 4:14Speaker 1: on board and like, you know, he handled some some
- 4:17Speaker 1: amazing work on this project and obviously Metros.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Metro that's my guy.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Man, He's the Metro Wave. Record is fucking crazy.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Yeah, he's in one of the you know, I mean,
- 4:26Speaker 3: I don't got to say it.
- 4:26Speaker 2: He's damn near the biggest producer that generation. Yeah, I
- 4:30Speaker 2: think if our generation I called I called him the
- 4:33Speaker 2: Minder and day Doctor Dre that's my boy. Shot the
- 4:35Speaker 2: Metro man shot them, I broke cash, shot the South,
- 4:40Speaker 2: a shot to.
- 4:41Speaker 3: The whole team.
- 4:41Speaker 2: It's just Metro was was so part of the culture.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Well me and Max was coming up and you know
- 4:48Speaker 2: he kind of grew up on that type of music.
- 4:50Speaker 2: So when Cash hit me, I was just like, you know,
- 4:54Speaker 2: like let's let's let's make it happen.
- 4:55Speaker 3: But it was.
- 4:56Speaker 2: It was supposed to be a whole tape done well
- 5:00Speaker 2: Max and Metro. But the way Max came home and
- 5:04Speaker 2: he has so many records with Greece and and and
- 5:06Speaker 2: fraud and we never actually never did an album with
- 5:10Speaker 2: one person, but Metro will be the first person that
- 5:13Speaker 2: will do it.
- 5:13Speaker 1: So so that's still in the work.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, still in the worst we were, Still we
- 5:17Speaker 3: still got to have a conversation.
- 5:18Speaker 1: It feels like Metro like understood the assignment, which means
- 5:21Speaker 1: he had just been like a big family.
- 5:23Speaker 2: He came with those ready, then the Sarenation one, he
- 5:27Speaker 2: just went in the room and he locked himself in
- 5:29Speaker 2: there and and I remember Max just walking by his
- 5:32Speaker 2: room and he came in and he was.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Like, can you believe this? Motherfucking there man, he been
- 5:37Speaker 3: hot and shit, we will walk in there and Metros like,
- 5:40Speaker 3: now I just made this. So it's kind of like
- 5:43Speaker 3: a funny ass moment.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Well that's though too, because as you know, man, like
- 5:47Speaker 1: sometimes you don't even see a producer. You might they
- 5:49Speaker 1: might make the album, you might not even meet him.
- 5:51Speaker 1: They might might be off YouTube, but to be able
- 5:54Speaker 1: to be in the lab and like create no Metro
- 5:56Speaker 1: say I'm coming. Yeah, Metro say I'm coming. That's important
- 6:00Speaker 1: man for you man, Like, do you feel like I
- 6:04Speaker 1: feel like this album is going crazy? Obviously, Rocky's album
- 6:07Speaker 1: just hit number one. Like it feels like New York
- 6:09Speaker 1: Is is definitely.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Making Marty Rocky cash Us.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Boogie. New York is good man, you know it's good
- 6:24Speaker 3: even though o G's doing anything.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Yeah, it feels like, you know, I feel like everyone's
- 6:28Speaker 1: got like even if they're not rapping, they have their
- 6:29Speaker 1: podcasting like a mother.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Yeah, of course, Like everybody's got their podcast.
- 6:33Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Joe is lit.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Everybody got a podcast.
- 6:37Speaker 2: I just saw Murder and Yayo podcast having them got
- 6:42Speaker 2: a podcast. Joe and them got a podcast. Man, I
- 6:46Speaker 2: just feel like, you know, the game is growing, you know,
- 6:49Speaker 2: the game is growing. Everybody doing anything, everybody looking, everybody hustles, right. Yeah,
- 6:54Speaker 2: So some people rap because they want to make money
- 6:58Speaker 2: and some people, you know, I really love the passionate music.
- 7:01Speaker 1: By the end of the day, when you grow and.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Accomplish everything you want, sometimes you want to just you know,
- 7:07Speaker 2: spread your wings a little bit.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Would you ever entertain doing being a personality like that?
- 7:15Speaker 2: For me, it's not fair because there will be some
- 7:19Speaker 2: days that I don't want to do it and I
- 7:21Speaker 2: don't want to cheat the fans, right, you know what
- 7:23Speaker 2: I'm saying. So like today I might be like I
- 7:26Speaker 2: want to do a podcast and talking my shit, but
- 7:27Speaker 2: then you know, tomorrow I don't feel like going.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I feel like it's a job.
- 7:33Speaker 2: And like Joe and Jada, when I went there, it
- 7:36Speaker 2: was like it's a job, Like oh, you really have
- 7:38Speaker 2: to be hit and like yeah, like all right, man.
- 7:41Speaker 1: You will randomly pop up on like these huge records
- 7:44Speaker 1: like last year, you're on one of the biggest like
- 7:47Speaker 1: club records, Moke Chicken with boss Man Dilo.
- 7:50Speaker 3: That's my thing.
- 7:50Speaker 2: I like, I like, I like to make sure I'm
- 7:52Speaker 2: want to at least one anthem a year.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Yeah, that's been trying to do that my whole career.
- 7:57Speaker 1: What was the process like getting with him and ending
- 8:01Speaker 1: up on that record.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Shot the Josh and shot to Zoe.
- 8:07Speaker 2: I was in Miami and no no Zoe, my an
- 8:14Speaker 2: R got it. So we was in the studio and
- 8:19Speaker 2: I forgot it was my team and his team that
- 8:22Speaker 2: the managers was talking and there was like, yeah, we're
- 8:24Speaker 2: in Miami and they told him come to the studio.
- 8:26Speaker 2: He came, he played me his album before it came out,
- 8:30Speaker 2: and he was just like going through records. I remember
- 8:33Speaker 2: it was that record and it was another record that
- 8:38Speaker 2: that we cut. But that's one record. As soon as
- 8:41Speaker 2: I heard it because of the whole Biggie and Little
- 8:43Speaker 2: Kim sound on the bag. Money fuck bitch is money.
- 8:50Speaker 2: So I was like, Okay, this is this. This is
- 8:52Speaker 2: more Miami and East Coast vibe. So that one, it
- 8:55Speaker 2: was just and we always knew that was one of those.
- 8:58Speaker 2: I was just waiting for him to drop. It wasn't
- 9:00Speaker 2: the focus single neither.
- 9:02Speaker 1: It just kind of did his thing. It wasn't the
- 9:04Speaker 1: Yeah it was it. It was like one of them,
- 9:06Speaker 1: Like he's got like three or four of those that
- 9:07Speaker 1: they never worked where you're like, yeah, he's go to
- 9:10Speaker 1: the clear, Like why is it this? Why did they
- 9:11Speaker 1: pushing this? Yeah?
- 9:12Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly. I was handing them up. I was like, yo, bro,
- 9:14Speaker 3: you gotta go to radio mo Chicken.
- 9:16Speaker 1: You're like super always. I feel like, no matter what
- 9:19Speaker 1: you got going on, tapped in with whatever's going on next? Yeah,
- 9:22Speaker 1: I got think back to like Lockjaw, like you're one
- 9:24Speaker 1: of the earlier dudes who were like super on the
- 9:27Speaker 1: Embrace Kodak, Like, yeah, what is why? Why is that
- 9:31Speaker 1: so important for you?
- 9:34Speaker 2: I feel like maybe it was because of me and
- 9:37Speaker 2: being a young artist and appreciating when when when the
- 9:40Speaker 2: og or somebody that I grew up listening to their
- 9:44Speaker 2: music reached out to me. Like I always say this,
- 9:46Speaker 2: like when when I was first coming up and Jada
- 9:48Speaker 2: Kiss just came and did a Verse on New York Minute,
- 9:52Speaker 2: you know what I mean, crazy record that hit me different.
- 9:54Speaker 2: So ever since then, he can never hit me, and
- 9:56Speaker 2: I could be like no to anything, you know what
- 9:58Speaker 2: I'm saying.
- 9:58Speaker 3: So I was.
- 9:59Speaker 2: I always told myself that any new artists that I like,
- 10:04Speaker 2: I love to spread my wings. And I also was
- 10:06Speaker 2: in and I'm coming up, and there was a lot
- 10:09Speaker 2: of artists that I was like, yo, I need a
- 10:10Speaker 2: Verse this and that, and there was like twenty thousand
- 10:13Speaker 2: or they gave me.
- 10:14Speaker 3: You know, they did the kyri Irvan to spin off,
- 10:16Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying, So what's the spinoff?
- 10:19Speaker 1: You know? To spin Like, yeah, I got you send
- 10:22Speaker 1: it over, I'll get to it.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, you know, I'm trying to I'm trying
- 10:25Speaker 2: to write my verse, but I don't know if I
- 10:27Speaker 2: can catch this beat. Send me something else, yeah yeah,
- 10:29Speaker 2: send me something else, and it's like, no, this is
- 10:31Speaker 2: the single, bro.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Yeah. So it is that A lot a lot of that.
- 10:35Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Do you remember like when like the switch kind of
- 10:40Speaker 1: flipped for you and you felt like, because obviously you
- 10:43Speaker 1: had been bubbling bubbling so much in the New York
- 10:46Speaker 1: mixtape DVD era and you caught some regional joints, but
- 10:50Speaker 1: I feel like shot Calling was like one of them
- 10:52Speaker 1: records that like it changed, like it changed everything for you. Then.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah it did because you got to think about it.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Cocaine City first one dropped like two thousand and three.
- 11:03Speaker 2: I was like, I'm gonna be an artist, So I
- 11:05Speaker 2: started pulling myself in all them DVDs. Then by the
- 11:07Speaker 2: time like two thousand and five came, I went up
- 11:12Speaker 2: to go see Goby and SRC. Yeah, and that's when
- 11:15Speaker 2: they had all all the artists up there and it
- 11:18Speaker 2: kind of there was like, man, we want to give
- 11:21Speaker 2: you like two hundred thousand dollars to sign this and that,
- 11:23Speaker 2: and never you know, I got this Kyrie Irving spent
- 11:26Speaker 2: off again.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Then I had a record that Goby was playing, so
- 11:31Speaker 2: Akon came and gave me a shopping deal for artists,
- 11:33Speaker 2: So I signed my first deal like two thousand and five.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Then that that was what SRC.
- 11:39Speaker 3: That was, That was Convict.
- 11:42Speaker 2: So right after that, I dropped my first mixtape. Then
- 11:46Speaker 2: after that, I think I met Max. I met Max
- 11:49Speaker 2: after I dropped my first single, Straight Cash, so I
- 11:52Speaker 2: met Max. Me and Max did Coke Wave one, we
- 11:57Speaker 2: did Coke Wave two. So me and Max had a
- 11:59Speaker 2: run to like probably two thousand and nine when he
- 12:01Speaker 2: got arrested. Then after that dropped My Mac and Cheese three.
- 12:05Speaker 2: That's when I had Ultro Sinkhole and I had everything
- 12:09Speaker 2: as to go and we had Chopper chopping down, so
- 12:12Speaker 2: I was hitting them with like anthem after anthem.
- 12:14Speaker 3: That's when I dropped the Sanctuary.
- 12:16Speaker 2: That's when you know, then when Max got locked up,
- 12:20Speaker 2: it was kind of like everybody turned it back on
- 12:22Speaker 2: me because I was like black ball because just we
- 12:25Speaker 2: were just like you know, one of the first yeah,
- 12:27Speaker 2: you know, drill music, Like we was like bombing on
- 12:30Speaker 2: everybody right, So everybody blackballed me. Then I had to
- 12:34Speaker 2: just go lock in, locked in with Harry Fraud. That's
- 12:36Speaker 2: when I met Harry Fraud. And when me and Harry
- 12:39Speaker 2: Fraud locked in, that's what came out Shot Caller.
- 12:42Speaker 3: So that was the record that was just like, it.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Doesn't matter who blackballed me, this is gonna cut straight through.
- 12:49Speaker 2: So shot Caller was the one. It was like Moses
- 12:51Speaker 2: when he stood in front of the ocean.
- 12:53Speaker 1: It was crazy Broyah. And then like now, obviously he's
- 12:57Speaker 1: such a part of your sound, Fred, Like think of Harry,
- 13:01Speaker 1: Harry Frod dropped some crazy projects with a lot of
- 13:03Speaker 1: artists like Spitter, like Currncy. But when I think of
- 13:06Speaker 1: Harry Fraud and I think of you, it's like, yeah,
- 13:09Speaker 1: it's like Parrail and the Clips exactly.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, hell yeah, man, it's like Drey and Snoop.
- 13:14Speaker 1: It's crazy, man, like a Kon's ear. He gotta we
- 13:19Speaker 1: gotta put some respect on his name.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Yeah, shot the akon Ac is a huddler.
- 13:23Speaker 1: He had you, lady, God got t pain Yeah, fuck
- 13:26Speaker 1: Red Cafe.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Yeah, he could have had the biggest label ever.
- 13:30Speaker 1: That's crazy. Yeah, it is interesting because I wonder like, obviously,
- 13:36Speaker 1: I feel like in the last couple of years, you know,
- 13:41Speaker 1: I don't want to get into like the specifics about Diddy.
- 13:43Speaker 1: The bad Boy as a label has such a historical
- 13:47Speaker 1: place in our culture no matter what, you can take
- 13:50Speaker 1: that away, right, But from your perspective of just kind
- 13:54Speaker 1: of you know, sitting back and just seeing everything kind
- 13:57Speaker 1: of unwind over the last couple of years, was your
- 13:59Speaker 1: like you because I talked to Kels about this MGK
- 14:02Speaker 1: recently off camera. Obviously He's like, Man, I hadn't like
- 14:05Speaker 1: everything was fine a bad Boy when you know what
- 14:08Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like, was your experience being on the label
- 14:11Speaker 1: like a positive one? Likely?
- 14:13Speaker 2: Of course, Man, everything is learning experience wherever you are.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Because remember my my thing was it was Mayeback music
- 14:21Speaker 2: or Ross because my deal was like a two way deal. Yeah,
- 14:26Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. So it was an experience.
- 14:29Speaker 2: I went from me and Max to.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Me and Fraud and y'all got classics together too. Yeah, Yeah,
- 14:36Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. We got a lot of records.
- 14:40Speaker 1: I wanted to ask you about your relationship with Mac
- 14:42Speaker 1: Miller because you also worked with mac Miller back in
- 14:43Speaker 1: the day shot, and I think Mac Miller is, you know,
- 14:47Speaker 1: a generational talent. Obviously lost him too soon, but I
- 14:50Speaker 1: always wonder man like folks who was able to work
- 14:52Speaker 1: with him the blog era? What what like? What was
- 14:56Speaker 1: y'all's relationship? Like, I was just c Mac and we
- 15:00Speaker 1: just get toasted. That checks out.
- 15:04Speaker 2: That's all I remember. I remember just seeing Mac. We
- 15:06Speaker 2: just get toasted.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Man.
- 15:08Speaker 2: It was just he would have this big ass bottle
- 15:10Speaker 2: of Lean and he would pour like the whole half
- 15:12Speaker 2: and then I'd be like, yo, bro, you wilding out
- 15:15Speaker 2: And it was just and it was just that kind
- 15:16Speaker 2: of that cond that was always every time we got together.
- 15:21Speaker 2: We always made some great music. We always had a
- 15:23Speaker 2: great time, and we always you know, had had some memories.
- 15:28Speaker 3: But he was he was. He was definitely my turn
- 15:30Speaker 3: up partner.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Yeah, what year do you feel like? You like? Because
- 15:35Speaker 1: the Lean ship had a hellholder everybody? Yeah, you had
- 15:37Speaker 1: the Lean gup for a sec and then you got
- 15:40Speaker 1: it together and yeah, of course you know what I'm saying.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I forget what you album cover you had, but you
- 15:44Speaker 1: made it a point to show everybody went around in
- 15:46Speaker 1: the gym.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Hell yeah, I mean look you see you see what
- 15:50Speaker 2: happened to mac. You see everything happening to everybody. You
- 15:53Speaker 2: see rich Homi Kwan, you see you know me? I mean,
- 15:58Speaker 2: I just went to the doctor and I ended up
- 16:00Speaker 2: in ic U, and I took the wrong pills and
- 16:04Speaker 2: I ended up in ICU. My doctor was just like, look,
- 16:06Speaker 2: if you drink again, you're gonna die. I was like,
- 16:08Speaker 2: that's all you gotta tell me.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Do you feel like that kicked off? Because you're a pretty
- 16:11Speaker 1: healthy guy. Now you're in great shape, Like that kick off?
- 16:14Speaker 1: You taking your health serious?
- 16:16Speaker 2: Hell yeah, but doctor tell you about to die, you
- 16:19Speaker 2: better take your health serious.
- 16:21Speaker 3: She that's so that's all you had to tell me.
- 16:24Speaker 1: That was it.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Yeah, that's so, that's all you had to tell me,
- 16:27Speaker 3: You're about to die. I was at ICU for like
- 16:29Speaker 3: three weeks.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Damn, and this was I'm taking something the wrong ship.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Or taking the wrong ship and taking the wrong ship
- 16:36Speaker 2: for so many years.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Right pills.
- 16:40Speaker 3: You don't know what you know what I'm saying, I
- 16:41Speaker 3: don't know you were.
- 16:42Speaker 1: You were a legendary partier for sure. Yeah listen, I'm
- 16:45Speaker 1: from Arizona and you had a place called the Pink
- 16:47Speaker 1: Rhino going stupid for yeah, once or twice a year.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Yeah, because even even now, it's like you gotta get
- 16:54Speaker 3: a like you really gotta buy your fucking pill and
- 16:57Speaker 3: really put.
- 16:58Speaker 1: That ship to them and get a fucking test.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Care a test, kid, Then you gotta put that shit.
- 17:02Speaker 2: If you don't have that, you gotta put that shit
- 17:03Speaker 2: to the light, put your flash light in it.
- 17:05Speaker 1: It just feels like a lot to see to see if.
- 17:07Speaker 3: It's fuzzy, because if it's fuzzy, you got fucking fitting
- 17:10Speaker 3: on it. You gotta make sure the pills c But
- 17:12Speaker 3: for what right you can't even get high comfortable.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I just smoke weed in each rooms, man.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Yeah, fuck that.
- 17:19Speaker 1: You still smoke weed?
- 17:20Speaker 3: Nah?
- 17:21Speaker 1: No?
- 17:21Speaker 3: Yeah, like nineteen ninety six to me, man, I get lazy.
- 17:25Speaker 1: What about do you drink a lot? Still?
- 17:27Speaker 3: No, I don't drink. I stopped drinking.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Oh so you're fucking yeah yeah, check you out. Man,
- 17:31Speaker 1: You're like David Goggins a hip hop Yeah.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Man, I'm trying to you know, And I still feel
- 17:37Speaker 2: drunk from the time that I stopped, so for real,
- 17:42Speaker 2: I stopped in twenty nineteen.
- 17:45Speaker 3: So I'm like, I'm like, I'm like a good strong seven.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Congrats man, thank you. That's incredible.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Thank you brother.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Do you have an outlet like, uh, like if you like,
- 17:53Speaker 1: if you go out, like you get booked at a club?
- 17:55Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 17:56Speaker 1: Are you like, like I swear to god, my birthday
- 17:59Speaker 1: was last week. Yeah, and I had them bring me
- 18:02Speaker 1: to twelve packs of diet coke like they were bottles
- 18:05Speaker 1: for real. Yeah, I had the bottles. You don't drink, no, no, no,
- 18:08Speaker 1: I was that night. I wasn't trying drink because I
- 18:09Speaker 1: didn't want my wife to be mad at me because
- 18:10Speaker 1: she wasn't in town with me. Yeah, so I had
- 18:13Speaker 1: bottles for the homies. I owned the club. It's my
- 18:16Speaker 1: club in Scotts.
- 18:17Speaker 3: If you drink your uncontrollable no, no.
- 18:19Speaker 1: No, I just I had some uncontrollable times recently and
- 18:21Speaker 1: I was like, look, I'm gonna go. But I had
- 18:23Speaker 1: them bring me diet coke. Yeah.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:25Speaker 1: So I was like in the club, Yeah yeah, that's crazy.
- 18:29Speaker 1: But you get booked to do a club? Are you
- 18:31Speaker 1: just hanging out? You're hitting a vape? What are you doing?
- 18:34Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. Like I would smoke a little hookah.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Hookah okay yeah yeah yeah that checks out.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Yeah, little got to the hookah yeah, a little hookah
- 18:42Speaker 2: head and then you know she was going on in
- 18:44Speaker 2: the club, my drinking.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Little diet coke.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Or like some good coke zero monster, good monster drink
- 18:53Speaker 2: love me drinking the monsters.
- 18:54Speaker 1: You and Uh. When I think of like chemistry and
- 18:57Speaker 1: rap and h you've done so many joint albums or
- 19:01Speaker 1: join projects, I feel like it is crazy that you
- 19:04Speaker 1: and Ross have not done an entire body of.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Work, you know what, Me and him and Max was
- 19:09Speaker 2: shooting his single the other day. He got a single
- 19:11Speaker 2: coming out like next week, if I'm not mistaken, and
- 19:14Speaker 2: I was thinking that was like, Yo, this chemistry is crazy.
- 19:17Speaker 1: You guys have made classics together.
- 19:18Speaker 2: I'm like, maybe we should, we should, We should probably
- 19:20Speaker 2: get in there with Rose and doing that would be crazy.
- 19:22Speaker 2: But first let me getting me and Max joint out
- 19:25Speaker 2: the way then, but that would be crazy.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Me and Ross got so many joints.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Do you guys have a lot of stuff that we've
- 19:30Speaker 1: never heard they're just sitting sitting around on hard drives
- 19:32Speaker 1: or yeah, definitely first, Yeah, for sure. I think that
- 19:36Speaker 1: Marble Floors is like one of those underrated.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Oh my god, Marble floors.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Yeah, obviously, state, I mean, you got me.
- 19:44Speaker 3: Straight off the boat.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Do you remember when nobody to somebody like that that
- 19:49Speaker 1: joint crazy?
- 19:51Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 19:52Speaker 1: Do you remember when you cut the State Scheming hook?
- 19:55Speaker 1: Did you realize how big of a anthem that was
- 19:57Speaker 1: going to be? It's like a forever song.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Nah, I didn't.
- 20:00Speaker 2: I didn't realize it because I didn't really actually like
- 20:02Speaker 2: the beat. No, that was actually a rose pick minees
- 20:06Speaker 2: was straight off the boat.
- 20:07Speaker 3: I was sold in on straight off the boat.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Of course when Ross picked that beat and he just
- 20:12Speaker 2: came on, he was like, all right for my nick dog.
- 20:15Speaker 2: It seems like it to me, it didn't seem like
- 20:18Speaker 2: a big record because it didn't have because that at
- 20:22Speaker 2: that time it was the Lex Luga era and it
- 20:25Speaker 2: was and it was the horns, and it was that vibe.
- 20:28Speaker 2: So I'm like, and he and he and he was
- 20:29Speaker 2: fresh off you know.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Uh, being mad, being mad all that ship.
- 20:35Speaker 2: So it was that sound. That's why I straight off
- 20:38Speaker 2: the boat sound like that, because I remember I took
- 20:41Speaker 2: I took Alex Luga whole hall drive and I had
- 20:44Speaker 2: like every beat that he had on one of my computers.
- 20:46Speaker 2: I can't find it. Yeah, but I told lex Luga that,
- 20:49Speaker 2: I said, I took. I don't know where I took
- 20:50Speaker 2: it from, but I took it. So I didn't really
- 20:53Speaker 2: believe in that record state schema. But when Rose did
- 20:56Speaker 2: the hook, I did my hook, I did my verse.
- 20:59Speaker 2: But the person I saw the potential on that record
- 21:01Speaker 2: is Drake. Drake came in and heard the tape and
- 21:05Speaker 2: he told Rose. He was like, this is the one,
- 21:08Speaker 2: because Drake thing is always like where's the hook?
- 21:12Speaker 3: This is my thing too. You know what I'm saying,
- 21:14Speaker 3: where's the hook? Where's the hook?
- 21:16Speaker 2: Because the fastest somebody could hit the hook is the
- 21:19Speaker 2: faster you haven't hit. So Drake was just like, this
- 21:22Speaker 2: the one, because remember that this one got a double hook.
- 21:25Speaker 1: He does, yeah, and sometimes you don't even realize it.
- 21:29Speaker 2: So that one goes for like eight bars, then my
- 21:32Speaker 2: part go for eight bars, then the verses come. You
- 21:35Speaker 2: got a hook that's bigger than the verses, so you
- 21:39Speaker 2: got an automatic hit.
- 21:40Speaker 1: And then he just delivered with that callback line that
- 21:43Speaker 1: you know.
- 21:45Speaker 2: But Rose delivered with the I don't want to go
- 21:51Speaker 2: to court?
- 21:52Speaker 3: Yeah, fuck it off the opening. So now you got
- 21:56Speaker 3: two hooks.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Then you got the first four bars that's even bigger
- 21:59Speaker 2: than the two hooks.
- 22:00Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Then and then you're you know, it's crazy because you
- 22:04Speaker 1: your verse like never gets played, It never gets that far.
- 22:07Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. That's the club and they get
- 22:10Speaker 1: to the third verse to take a ship.
- 22:13Speaker 3: But that's that.
- 22:13Speaker 2: But that's the trick. That's the trick in the music.
- 22:16Speaker 2: When I was coming up, they're like, yo, do not
- 22:17Speaker 2: never get the last verse. Don't never get the last verse.
- 22:20Speaker 1: But you had to. You had the hook though, So it's.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Like, I'm not I'm not an ego person.
- 22:25Speaker 2: I'm in the studio, but that Kobe, Kobe, you know,
- 22:31Speaker 2: in the gym.
- 22:34Speaker 3: Yeah, not crazy?
- 22:35Speaker 1: What what? What was? What? Can you tell me the
- 22:37Speaker 1: story what happened with the Splash Brothers record and how
- 22:40Speaker 1: he didn't end up on it.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Splash Brother's record.
- 22:44Speaker 1: The Splash Brothers version with Drake on it.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Yeah, there's there's a LEASD version. But the Splash Brother's
- 22:50Speaker 2: record never came out with Drake because the version that
- 22:53Speaker 2: we had with Drake it had a a verse from
- 22:57Speaker 2: Rose that I didn I think I think Drake was
- 23:01Speaker 2: waiting for another verse from Rose that for that record.
- 23:05Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 23:05Speaker 2: I think he wanted him to cut another verse because
- 23:07Speaker 2: something happened, either he said something on the first verse
- 23:09Speaker 2: or something had happened, and he was just like, hey,
- 23:12Speaker 2: I'm down, but yeah, I'm down, but I switch up this.
- 23:14Speaker 2: But it was supposed to be a state scheming a
- 23:17Speaker 2: part too, oh ship. So that was that was the
- 23:20Speaker 2: whole thing. When Drake sent me, send me Splash Brothers.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Drake actually sent it to me.
- 23:25Speaker 1: For his album.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Oh So Splash Brothers was Drake's song, and Drake sent
- 23:30Speaker 2: it to me. He was like, yo, go in the studio,
- 23:33Speaker 2: make like three different hooks and let me pick the
- 23:37Speaker 2: best one. So I went in there. I did like
- 23:39Speaker 2: three different hooks on it. I sent it to Drake.
- 23:41Speaker 3: He heard it.
- 23:41Speaker 1: He was like, all right, this is the one. So
- 23:44Speaker 1: I'm like, all right, you like that one?
- 23:45Speaker 3: He was like all right. So we went in there.
- 23:46Speaker 2: He cut it, he changed a few words that he
- 23:49Speaker 2: wanted me to say. He sent it back, so I
- 23:51Speaker 2: went in and I cut the hook. I sent it
- 23:52Speaker 2: to him. He did his verse first, so it was
- 23:54Speaker 2: my hook and his verse. And by the time I
- 23:58Speaker 2: flew out to see him in Bahamas, he already had
- 24:00Speaker 2: rose verse two. But he was like it was like
- 24:03Speaker 2: something Rose had said some it was something with the verse.
- 24:05Speaker 2: So it's supposed to be for Drake album. I think
- 24:07Speaker 2: it was, if I'm not mistaken the album after the.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Views, it's probably uh fuck, I don't know. They all
- 24:14Speaker 1: did the last seven years of rap. It's all blended
- 24:17Speaker 1: together for me, especially when it comes to hist.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Yeah, it's all like one day.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, but it was supposed to be for his album,
- 24:22Speaker 2: and since Ross didn't do the verse on time, he
- 24:26Speaker 2: was like, you want the record?
- 24:27Speaker 3: I was like, I take it.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Yeah, So it was never something like it was mine's
- 24:31Speaker 2: and it was just like, you know, he just he
- 24:33Speaker 2: just gave me the record from my album.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Well, I hope you get the game. The band back
- 24:36Speaker 1: together one day, because all three of y'all together is like.
- 24:40Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like the Warriors happened.
- 24:42Speaker 1: It's like the Golden State Warriors.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Brother brothers always fighting and makeup.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Man, it happened. Nobody got shot, nobody, nobody died, nobody.
- 24:50Speaker 3: You know.
- 24:51Speaker 1: You know, I'm curious, man, you've somehow wrote this line
- 24:56Speaker 1: that I don't think you could really say anybody else has.
- 24:59Speaker 1: But where you are, you're like a mainstream superstar worldwide.
- 25:06Speaker 1: You have like well was that? No? No, I'm saying like
- 25:09Speaker 1: you you you have like this weird cultural significance in
- 25:14Speaker 1: so many worlds that not a lot of rappers can say.
- 25:19Speaker 1: And when I say that, I mean you could do
- 25:21Speaker 1: a record with Mac Miller in twenty twelve, or you
- 25:24Speaker 1: can have West Side Gun on your album, or you
- 25:27Speaker 1: could do a record like Riza with DJ Premiere on yeah. Yeah,
- 25:31Speaker 1: but then you have like unforgettable.
- 25:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:34Speaker 1: So it's like you live in this like you occupy
- 25:38Speaker 1: a very unique space where you're.
- 25:40Speaker 3: I was never locked into a box.
- 25:42Speaker 1: But you're like an underground rapper still dog, which I
- 25:45Speaker 1: mean that respectful the store at the fucking like bro
- 25:48Speaker 1: with the with the with the boombap ship though.
- 25:51Speaker 2: But this is what I'm saying, that's that's that's why
- 25:53Speaker 2: I started from. I just feel like New York. It
- 25:58Speaker 2: was something that I hated about New York and being
- 26:00Speaker 2: a New York artist. They want you to believe you
- 26:03Speaker 2: got to have a certain sound to be from New York,
- 26:07Speaker 2: and and it keeps you in New York. You know
- 26:11Speaker 2: what I'm saying, Anybody in New York gonna give you
- 26:13Speaker 2: that sound. That's in New York. That sound does not
- 26:15Speaker 2: pass Philadelphia, DC. That sound doesn't go up past Boston.
- 26:21Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, It doesn't. I've been I've
- 26:24Speaker 2: been in the West Coast for how long. We probably
- 26:26Speaker 2: got the only record from a New York artist in
- 26:29Speaker 2: LA right now. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. So, unless
- 26:34Speaker 2: unless it's Cardi and Cardi, music does not sound like no, no.
- 26:36Speaker 1: You're right, Cardis, to be fair, she's the exception. Yeah, Cardi,
- 26:39Speaker 1: we're playing like three songs on but Cardy came after
- 26:43Speaker 1: me and Max and Bodak. To be clear, Bodak Yellow
- 26:47Speaker 1: is not a New York traditional song, and that's the
- 26:50Speaker 1: record to change for life.
- 26:51Speaker 3: This is what I'm saying.
- 26:52Speaker 2: So Carti came up listening to to us, listening to
- 26:55Speaker 2: people from New York. That actually made a difference to
- 26:59Speaker 2: to say, oparate yourself from the pack that's coming out
- 27:01Speaker 2: of New York because they don't leave in New York.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Rocky did a good job with that too.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Yeah, Rocky.
- 27:06Speaker 2: You know, I think after after after my gym, like
- 27:10Speaker 2: when we came out, me and Max, I think, you know,
- 27:13Speaker 2: for Max starting to harmonize the music, and and and
- 27:16Speaker 2: for me because.
- 27:17Speaker 3: I blew up down south.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Yes, even though I had shot Caller, I still couldn't
- 27:23Speaker 2: pass the East coast.
- 27:24Speaker 3: So I had to go down south.
- 27:25Speaker 2: And and and and drop the chop of chopp of
- 27:27Speaker 2: downs and and drop the pop that and dropped it.
- 27:30Speaker 3: Ain't worry about nothing.
- 27:31Speaker 1: And you know what I'm saying, Man, ain't worry about nothing.
- 27:33Speaker 1: I got. I got my bootleg cav custom. You did.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Ain't worry about nothing.
- 27:37Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. So so so I had to
- 27:41Speaker 3: get panic.
- 27:42Speaker 1: You got so many joints. Dog is crazy. Your catalog's
- 27:45Speaker 1: fucking crazy.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Then I had to come to the to the West
- 27:47Speaker 2: coast and do don't panic, give y'all a sound on
- 27:49Speaker 2: me and back mustard. So it kind of I kind
- 27:51Speaker 2: of catered to every to every place with its own
- 27:55Speaker 2: sound and gave them what they knew until they knew me.
- 27:57Speaker 2: At a high level too, I gave them what they
- 27:59Speaker 2: knew until they know.
- 28:00Speaker 1: You still do like the boombab ship, Yeah, still have
- 28:03Speaker 1: like West Side Gun on a project, or work with
- 28:06Speaker 1: Bennie or yeah. I just think it's I just don't
- 28:08Speaker 1: think there's a lot of people who could say, like, yeah,
- 28:10Speaker 1: I've worked with this person, this person, this person. Like
- 28:12Speaker 1: you're a ven diagram of all the artists you've work.
- 28:15Speaker 1: It's so wide, That's.
- 28:16Speaker 3: What I'm saying.
- 28:16Speaker 2: You always gott to feed the streets. Yeah, and make
- 28:19Speaker 2: sure what if right now? I didn't have no business
- 28:22Speaker 2: doing the mixtape, me and Max B, but we did
- 28:24Speaker 2: it because we gotta feed the streets.
- 28:25Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 28:26Speaker 2: I had no no, no, no business still dropping mixtakees,
- 28:28Speaker 2: but I still do it because we got to feed
- 28:30Speaker 2: the streets.
- 28:31Speaker 1: What do you think is your most slept on song?
- 28:37Speaker 1: Slept on like a single or a record that you
- 28:40Speaker 1: felt like could have been bigger but it was a
- 28:41Speaker 1: little slept on.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Sanctuary?
- 28:43Speaker 1: Okay, Sanctuary is hard.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I think Sanctuary definitely Famous.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Oh there's an album cut I loved. Uh you had
- 28:53Speaker 1: the video on World Star. Uh double Want My Soul,
- 28:56Speaker 1: Want My Soul. That's another one. That video was crazy.
- 28:58Speaker 3: That's another one. So eighty eight coops. Yeah, me and
- 29:02Speaker 3: Kiss Damn. What's another record?
- 29:09Speaker 2: But for sure Sanctuary and Famous because I think Famous
- 29:13Speaker 2: came after Unforgettable and it was such a big record
- 29:16Speaker 2: that Unforgettable just moved everything out the way.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Do you still like, uh, have a lot of communication
- 29:24Speaker 1: with ya. Obviously, I feel like, yeah, he's been so
- 29:27Speaker 1: locked in with you for so long. Yeah, it was
- 29:29Speaker 1: on last well not last year, because yeah, and she's five.
- 29:32Speaker 1: What's that?
- 29:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I say, I forget Yeah yeah, Mac and she's five. Yeah, no,
- 29:36Speaker 2: shot the y Man, Me and him and Max actually
- 29:38Speaker 2: got a crazy record.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I mean you helped Max get on
- 29:42Speaker 1: the Life of Pablo.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Yeah, sixteen Yeah, because I remember, yeah, yeah, yeah I did.
- 29:47Speaker 3: And you remember that.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Actually remember that because as soon as I sent them
- 29:54Speaker 2: the record that me and him in Max doing, he
- 29:56Speaker 2: didn't even questioned it.
- 29:56Speaker 3: He was just like, I already know what it.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Is that's coming out soon.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Yeah, oh fire coming out. Let me not give no date.
- 30:04Speaker 1: But soon. So right now, Cochoid three point five is
- 30:08Speaker 1: just the warm up. It's the appetizer.
- 30:09Speaker 3: Yeah, the appetizer.
- 30:11Speaker 1: It's the appetizer to the entree.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:13Speaker 2: So Max is dropping his tape on the twenty fifth
- 30:16Speaker 2: of this month that we then were coming three weeks
- 30:19Speaker 2: after that.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Well, I tape, it's done already.
- 30:22Speaker 1: It's very hard to find like the level of like
- 30:25Speaker 1: loyalty you guys have shown each other over the years
- 30:27Speaker 1: because a lot of times people they go away, they
- 30:29Speaker 1: sit down and like, you know, yeah, but it just
- 30:32Speaker 1: feels like y'all's bond is so strong man like it's
- 30:36Speaker 1: like a brotherhood at this point between you.
- 30:38Speaker 2: It's just just friends being friends and just being broadcast
- 30:41Speaker 2: to the world. I feel like, you know, I feel
- 30:44Speaker 2: like we just we're just doing what we're supposed to
- 30:46Speaker 2: do and just everybody gets.
- 30:47Speaker 3: To watch it.
- 30:48Speaker 1: What's the first thing you either did with max By
- 30:51Speaker 1: or showed him, Like someone gets out of jail, they've
- 30:54Speaker 1: been locking up. You got to kind of show him
- 30:55Speaker 1: some cool shit, like uh yeah, like yo, let me
- 30:58Speaker 1: show you Grand theft Ato five yeah, or look, yo,
- 31:02Speaker 1: check this out. There's a state called only fans. Do
- 31:04Speaker 1: you remember that short you went to high school with?
- 31:06Speaker 1: Look her Pussy's here for fourteen nine a month, Like
- 31:08Speaker 1: I don't know, Like what do you show?
- 31:10Speaker 3: I took him in Tousy's.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Did you get him the deep Rid Lost tal Yeah?
- 31:16Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and the show.
- 31:17Speaker 1: The shoulderrub By the Ways has great food and the
- 31:22Speaker 1: show The Rugs Shoulder Rubs. Tousy's my favorite strip club
- 31:26Speaker 1: in the world. I love him there, Oh you like, hey,
- 31:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna get you situated. I'm out.
- 31:30Speaker 2: I loved them there my dad as managers looking at
- 31:33Speaker 2: me like why why.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that's that's the Uh, that's that's fresh off
- 31:40Speaker 1: the boat central right there. Yeah, have the girls in
- 31:42Speaker 1: there and you got to pull out Google.
- 31:44Speaker 2: I don't even think Tutsi's was around eighteen years probably,
- 31:48Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 31:48Speaker 1: I don't think it was like on though. Even if
- 31:51Speaker 1: it was now it's different, so.
- 31:53Speaker 2: He never experienced it. Yeah, so it was for the
- 31:55Speaker 2: first time. I feel like, you know, that was something.
- 31:59Speaker 3: That he going.
- 32:00Speaker 1: You don't remember for sure on the come out for you,
- 32:07Speaker 1: you got engaged recently, Yeah, yeah, is that something for you?
- 32:11Speaker 1: Like I saw you spend a million dollars on the
- 32:13Speaker 1: engagement ring.
- 32:14Speaker 2: I'm not supposed to be talking about things like that.
- 32:16Speaker 2: It's just it just got it just got out there.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Well, I'm just curious, like, is it like a like
- 32:21Speaker 1: the ring shopping process for you? Is it stressful because
- 32:25Speaker 1: I got my shots of my wife, I got hurt,
- 32:27Speaker 1: but I was stressed out for like four months trying
- 32:29Speaker 1: to find his fucking ring.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's kind of like you know, when you
- 32:32Speaker 2: buy something for somebody that that have everything and seen
- 32:36Speaker 2: everything and can get anything they want. You kind of
- 32:39Speaker 2: like want to be specific and have your own details
- 32:42Speaker 2: and make it unique, make it, make it meaningful. Right,
- 32:45Speaker 2: So I just ask people that knew about that stuff,
- 32:49Speaker 2: and I added my own flavor to it, and they
- 32:52Speaker 2: kind of did a lot of listening to it. You know,
- 32:55Speaker 2: that's important with the person like and just you know, definitely.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I took I feel like shopping and engagement rings
- 33:00Speaker 1: one of those stressful things ever. And then I ordered
- 33:03Speaker 1: my ship from New York and I had a specific
- 33:06Speaker 1: day I was supposed to propose, and that ship didn't
- 33:09Speaker 1: come until the day before. I was fucking stressing. Yeah,
- 33:14Speaker 1: I was like, bro, shout out to the New York
- 33:17Speaker 1: Jewelry District. What's the Diamond district? Diamond District?
- 33:20Speaker 3: Who got it from?
- 33:21Speaker 1: What's I didn't get it from the dude who just
- 33:23Speaker 1: crashed out what's the d his name and just crashed
- 33:24Speaker 1: out the Jewish bruh tracks. That dude's fucking hilarious. That's
- 33:29Speaker 1: the dude from gems. Yeah got from no fuck no, yo,
- 33:36Speaker 1: you you I saw you, you know, And I think
- 33:38Speaker 1: it's important. Man. We're living in like a pretty crazy
- 33:42Speaker 1: political spectrum. But I saw obviously, you know, advocating for
- 33:46Speaker 1: for what's going on in Palestine and Gaza and ship
- 33:48Speaker 1: like that. Why is that important for you to be
- 33:50Speaker 1: vocal about when a lot of people aren't.
- 33:54Speaker 2: I love to stay out the politics, right, you know
- 33:57Speaker 2: what I'm saying. But I just feel like, you know,
- 33:59Speaker 2: when I off kids and mothers and this and that,
- 34:03Speaker 2: it just hurt to see.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's crazy. And for you, like being an
- 34:08Speaker 1: immigrant or family immigrants, like is it like the ice
- 34:11Speaker 1: shit that's going on right now is wild?
- 34:13Speaker 2: Bro?
- 34:13Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 34:13Speaker 2: Man, I mean not just that it's coming from having
- 34:17Speaker 2: a brother that got deported, you know, having a brother
- 34:20Speaker 2: that got deported, and also just being in the shoes
- 34:26Speaker 2: of being an immigrant because a lot of people don't
- 34:30Speaker 2: understand about being an immigrant is you're already isolated as
- 34:34Speaker 2: an alien, right, You already doesn't have all the privilege
- 34:39Speaker 2: that everybody else have. You already can't go to school
- 34:43Speaker 2: because you can't get your papers, so you can't get
- 34:46Speaker 2: no scholarships. You already can't get a job because you
- 34:49Speaker 2: don't have a Social Security and no health benefits, no nothing.
- 34:54Speaker 2: You're already can't do anything that US citizen can do.
- 35:00Speaker 2: So you are you are in a four by four
- 35:03Speaker 2: jail cell, even though if you're out here in the world,
- 35:07Speaker 2: so the only jobs you can get is jobs that
- 35:09Speaker 2: under the table, ship under the table, which you know
- 35:11Speaker 2: you're not even making one hundred dollars in two days
- 35:14Speaker 2: whatever that is. So it's a struggle. It's a struggle
- 35:19Speaker 2: for immigrants all around America on how it is so
- 35:23Speaker 2: for me to see people that grew in the struggle
- 35:27Speaker 2: and and and immigration and made something out of theirselfs
- 35:32Speaker 2: and have kids and this and that, and have a family, businesses, businesses,
- 35:37Speaker 2: and and some some people even forgot their native language
- 35:41Speaker 2: because they've been here so long and they don't even
- 35:43Speaker 2: have nobody back home. So to see somebody just snatch
- 35:47Speaker 2: that person out of their house and send them back to.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Place a lot of a lot of people get sent
- 35:52Speaker 1: back that been here to their babies, since we're sending
- 35:55Speaker 1: them to a place that they don't even.
- 35:56Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 35:58Speaker 2: So, so that's that that's the part that you know,
- 36:00Speaker 2: that's that's really hurtful to.
- 36:02Speaker 1: See for somebody who's kind of like been kind of
- 36:05Speaker 1: a political over the years. Is that the kind of
- 36:07Speaker 1: shit you see that like kind of like, like, man,
- 36:09Speaker 1: maybe I should speak out more or yet a little
- 36:12Speaker 1: bit more engaged.
- 36:13Speaker 3: YEA, yeah, of course, man.
- 36:14Speaker 2: I mean as far as the immigration is because as
- 36:17Speaker 2: a personal.
- 36:19Speaker 3: It's a personal thing for sure. Yeah. So it's a
- 36:22Speaker 3: personal thing when it comes to that.
- 36:23Speaker 2: So because because I've been through it my you know,
- 36:25Speaker 2: my mother was an immigrant, my father. My father got
- 36:27Speaker 2: deported first and my brother after. So I was able
- 36:30Speaker 2: to get my papers through the you know, through the
- 36:34Speaker 2: cracks and ended up begetting my mother had papers, you know,
- 36:37Speaker 2: So I come from a long long list of immigrants.
- 36:41Speaker 1: What are if you could give me your top four
- 36:43Speaker 1: nineteen nineties hip hop albums of all time nineties nineties
- 36:48Speaker 1: only it was written, Okay, I like that choice.
- 36:53Speaker 2: By the way it was written, I kind of like
- 36:56Speaker 2: it was written better than Ellmatic if I say, it.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Does get overshadowed because it came after omadic damn affirmative action.
- 37:01Speaker 3: Yeah, affirmative action, all of them. Jesus, yeah, all of them.
- 37:10Speaker 3: Not even just that was fake Doug. No love gets
- 37:17Speaker 3: number The message is one of the best rap raps.
- 37:20Speaker 1: One of the best and also one of the best
- 37:21Speaker 1: just rapid.
- 37:22Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying, so I think it was Rand
- 37:24Speaker 3: better than Ellmatic.
- 37:25Speaker 2: That's just you know, I respect it. You can say,
- 37:27Speaker 2: everybody in the comments with what was yall pick?
- 37:29Speaker 3: I picked? It was Rand Life After Death?
- 37:35Speaker 1: Okay?
- 37:37Speaker 3: All eyes on me?
- 37:39Speaker 1: All right? Double disc to double disc, back to back,
- 37:43Speaker 1: double disc.
- 37:44Speaker 3: I'm on, I'm onto something right.
- 37:50Speaker 2: I would love to say Doggy Style, but I was
- 37:55Speaker 2: on the East Coast. So I think that Wu Tang
- 37:58Speaker 2: Forever album had a bigger fact.
- 38:00Speaker 1: I got an autograph right there by ghost Face sitting
- 38:02Speaker 1: right there on top of it.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it was. I think it was a
- 38:05Speaker 2: moment for that Wu Tang.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Forever nineteen ninety seven. Yeah, people have been waiting so
- 38:11Speaker 1: long for the follow up to thirty. We got solo
- 38:13Speaker 1: albums before we had the tape in between.
- 38:15Speaker 3: I think it was like.
- 38:16Speaker 1: A human man in between between.
- 38:19Speaker 3: Yeah. I think that would be that would be my
- 38:21Speaker 3: four right there.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Who's your favorite rapper from a fans perspective? In Wu
- 38:25Speaker 1: Tang from a fans I think they all made one.
- 38:30Speaker 1: But what I'm saying like like, I'm a ghost Face guy. Yeah,
- 38:33Speaker 1: but I feel like when I was a little kid,
- 38:34Speaker 1: I was a methand man, guy.
- 38:36Speaker 2: I like, I like him all different in certain songs
- 38:39Speaker 2: like I was in love with Jizz and certain songs.
- 38:42Speaker 1: It's just the Deck low Key got some of the
- 38:44Speaker 1: hardest verses of all time. What I'm saying, Triumph verse.
- 38:47Speaker 2: So if you listen to Triumph, there's no way you're
- 38:49Speaker 2: gonna pick anybody besides inspect the Deck just the way
- 38:51Speaker 2: he came on. If you listen to Cream, you're gonna
- 38:54Speaker 2: be like, Okay, met the man.
- 38:56Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, and and and know both
- 38:58Speaker 3: of them.
- 39:00Speaker 2: I mean, it just depends. Man A ghosts of course,
- 39:04Speaker 2: shot the ghost is my god.
- 39:06Speaker 3: Rakkwan.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Yeah, Liquid Swords is uh probably in my opinion, like
- 39:10Speaker 1: we always hear about like Purple Tape or like Supreme Client,
- 39:13Speaker 1: Liquid Swords might be the best solo album that's and
- 39:18Speaker 1: one of the best covers ever. Yeah that cover is crazy.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Yeah hell yeah, Yo, Yeah, incredible. So Max is projects
- 39:27Speaker 1: dropping and then you and Max, Yeah, the album's coming,
- 39:31Speaker 1: Yeah what about your album?
- 39:34Speaker 3: Right after that?
- 39:35Speaker 1: Right after that you've been on this crazy run. The
- 39:39Speaker 1: movie came out, you had a movie that was written.
- 39:41Speaker 3: Yeah, movie just came out last year for Kadija. Yeah,
- 39:45Speaker 3: executive produced by Brother Drake.
- 39:48Speaker 1: What is it that still you're already successful? Man? I
- 39:51Speaker 1: always wondered this, Like when someone gets to a certain
- 39:53Speaker 1: point of success and you're still dropping mixtapes and you're
- 39:56Speaker 1: still grinding with what is it that is like the
- 39:59Speaker 1: inspiration that keeps you going like and keeps the work
- 40:02Speaker 1: ethics still.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Just because man, just just because there's there's still some
- 40:08Speaker 2: people out there that still doubt us. There's there's still
- 40:12Speaker 2: some people out there that don't that don't know that's fresh,
- 40:15Speaker 2: and there there's some people out there that we gotta
- 40:18Speaker 2: remind and there's some people out there that don't know yet.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Does proving people wrong matter to.
- 40:24Speaker 3: You my whole life?
- 40:26Speaker 1: Like? Do you do you? Do you read the comments
- 40:28Speaker 1: and ship? Like if someone says some ship does it?
- 40:30Speaker 1: Does that do you? Cause you know, you saw Michael
- 40:32Speaker 1: Jordan in the Dance talk about how all he needed
- 40:35Speaker 1: was to hear a little something somebody said on the
- 40:37Speaker 1: other team and he would put that ship in the tank. Crazy.
- 40:40Speaker 2: I mean, right right now, I think it's it's a
- 40:44Speaker 2: trend of of of people think that they got to
- 40:48Speaker 2: talk to you crazy to get some type of attention.
- 40:50Speaker 3: So I just feel like.
- 40:54Speaker 2: When you when I came from Africa when I was
- 40:57Speaker 2: when I was a kid, and I went to the Bronx,
- 40:59Speaker 2: which was my biggest test of my life, you know,
- 41:02Speaker 2: because I went.
- 41:04Speaker 3: I went to the mecca of hip hop.
- 41:05Speaker 2: So where I went, you talked about like going to
- 41:08Speaker 2: like where soccer started, and you talked about you wanted
- 41:11Speaker 2: to play soccer. You know what I'm saying, like going
- 41:12Speaker 2: to Brazil or going to like Argentina that when Maradona
- 41:16Speaker 2: was there, like or just so when I went, it
- 41:18Speaker 2: was just like big Pun down the street, Fat Joe here,
- 41:21Speaker 2: Slick Rick here, krs One here, you got everybody You're like, ya,
- 41:26Speaker 2: I want to be a rapper. You're like where you're from,
- 41:28Speaker 2: like Africa, you don't even speak English. It was just
- 41:30Speaker 2: like it was something that's like in your mind, You're like,
- 41:34Speaker 2: how the fuck am I gonna make it and rap
- 41:38Speaker 2: in the Bronx not knowing English?
- 41:40Speaker 3: How about this?
- 41:41Speaker 2: How about before that even in Africa, telling somebody in Africa, Yo,
- 41:45Speaker 2: I'm gonna go to the Bronx. I'm gonna go to
- 41:47Speaker 2: New York. I'm gonna be this fucking rap star. People
- 41:51Speaker 2: looking at you like this, this guy, how right?
- 41:54Speaker 3: Right. So it's like, delusion is key to success.
- 42:01Speaker 1: You gotta believe it before everybody else.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Man, know, you gotta be delusional. You gotta be out
- 42:05Speaker 2: of your mind. You gotta be out of your mind.
- 42:11Speaker 2: People gotta be like this fucking guy's out of his mind,
- 42:14Speaker 2: because you're only out of your mind until that shit
- 42:17Speaker 2: really happens, until you're not.
- 42:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I love that. Being delusional is a very important
- 42:22Speaker 1: key to success.
- 42:23Speaker 3: Being delusional a very important key to success.
- 42:25Speaker 1: You gotta buy into your ship and a delusional fashion
- 42:28Speaker 1: to get the world to buy into it.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Loo, I'm telling you gotta tell somebody tomorrow I'm gonna
- 42:32Speaker 2: fly with no airplane.
- 42:35Speaker 3: My fuck.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Look at you crazy until you figure it out.
- 42:37Speaker 3: Until you figure that motherfucker out.
- 42:38Speaker 1: You had a great relationship with Takeoff. Obviously, I remember
- 42:43Speaker 1: seeing you guys on Chris Was it Chris kidding you? Migos? Yeah, O,
- 42:49Speaker 1: my god, I saw that they Obviously, four years of
- 42:52Speaker 1: his death just passed. What was you know, give us
- 42:55Speaker 1: a little bit. Obviously you've lost a lot of people
- 42:57Speaker 1: close to you in the music.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean shot the Quavo shot to the
- 43:03Speaker 2: whole Migos. I mean it was always us. It was
- 43:07Speaker 2: me Chinks and there was always Quaver and Takeoff together
- 43:11Speaker 2: because I'm offset was locked up so and Max.
- 43:15Speaker 3: B was locked up.
- 43:16Speaker 2: So we was they they first video they first looked.
- 43:23Speaker 2: I flew out there to Atlanta to do with them.
- 43:25Speaker 2: It was like their first song whatever it is. I
- 43:28Speaker 2: don't know if it's the first time. It was like
- 43:29Speaker 2: one of the like one of they singles went out there,
- 43:33Speaker 2: didn't charge no money, this and that, you know what
- 43:34Speaker 2: I'm saying.
- 43:35Speaker 3: It was just coming up. I ain't even you know.
- 43:37Speaker 2: So ever since then we just grew a bond, you
- 43:39Speaker 2: know what I'm saying, So us growing in the game together.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Then seeing them lose the Takeoff and I lost Chinks,
- 43:50Speaker 2: So it was kind of like of a of a
- 43:54Speaker 2: similar thing, you know what I'm saying.
- 43:55Speaker 3: But Quave up into the crib. You know. We went
- 43:58Speaker 3: and toured together. It was always.
- 43:59Speaker 2: That that, you know, that brotherhood between us. So take
- 44:04Speaker 2: Hof was definitely somebody that we used to always joke around,
- 44:06Speaker 2: always have fun with, you know, especially on tour.
- 44:09Speaker 3: We got a lot of music together.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Di That tour was legendary but crazy. I remember that
- 44:14Speaker 1: was the tour in Tampa Florida. I met Sni Lathan.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Am I fucking crazy? I was?
- 44:25Speaker 2: She came on the tour bus and she was like, yeah,
- 44:26Speaker 2: I want to go to a couple of dates on
- 44:27Speaker 2: the tour bus and she can't go.
- 44:29Speaker 1: What's crazy is you remember like that was the year
- 44:32Speaker 1: that was like the Fettiwop year.
- 44:33Speaker 3: Yeah, and did a tape album together at that time too.
- 44:39Speaker 1: But what's crazy is I remember giving away tickets on
- 44:41Speaker 1: the radio at the time, and I'm like, I got
- 44:43Speaker 1: Chris Brown tickets, but everybody was calling and they were like, no,
- 44:47Speaker 1: we want the fetti Wop tickets, and yeah, no, but
- 44:49Speaker 1: Chris Brown is his everybody That fetti Wop sixteen month
- 44:53Speaker 1: run will be studied forever. My god, that motherfucker had
- 44:58Speaker 1: a run smoking and he went on relatively early on
- 45:02Speaker 1: that tour, yeah, because I think like kid Ink went
- 45:05Speaker 1: on late.
- 45:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:06Speaker 1: It was just like we're not link back of that tour.
- 45:08Speaker 1: It just had the star power. And then you were
- 45:10Speaker 1: coming out on people's sets. Yeah.
- 45:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I was coming out. Me and Chris had.
- 45:15Speaker 2: Moses crazy Yeah, and uh so we used to come
- 45:21Speaker 2: out and migos used to come out.
- 45:22Speaker 3: I used to do a couple of records. Yeah, we
- 45:24Speaker 3: was all on that tour.
- 45:25Speaker 1: It was dope. How much because I know you obviously
- 45:29Speaker 1: you got Chinks on this new album or this mixtape.
- 45:32Speaker 1: How much more Chinks music?
- 45:35Speaker 2: Well just you know, we at the end of it,
- 45:38Speaker 2: but we just keep finding records. Right before we were about
- 45:41Speaker 2: to put out, somebody would call up, like, yo, I
- 45:43Speaker 2: just found this record with Chinks. The Chinks used to
- 45:45Speaker 2: be like a just like a studio animally just stay
- 45:49Speaker 2: in there. So there's a bunch of music probably stood
- 45:52Speaker 2: out there.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Yeah. So it's like as it comes, you'll be like,
- 45:54Speaker 1: all right, we got to put this out. Yeah, what
- 45:57Speaker 1: is I saw you recently talk about Unforgettable? Obviously not
- 46:03Speaker 1: making any money off of it, Yeah, because obviously there's
- 46:06Speaker 1: so many writers the sample, I mean, on and on. Yeah,
- 46:08Speaker 1: I'm sure, but I'm curious. You've been through so many
- 46:12Speaker 1: different situations in music, so many different deals with the
- 46:16Speaker 1: bad boys, shit, the Gamma ship. You know, what is
- 46:21Speaker 1: a piece of advice you would give to an artist
- 46:23Speaker 1: that's just kind of getting into this game seriously, Like
- 46:27Speaker 1: you know, maybe like somebody who's on the newer side,
- 46:29Speaker 1: that's that's got some motion right now.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Advice that I would give an artist save your money
- 46:37Speaker 2: so it could save you.
- 46:38Speaker 1: That's that's number one.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Definitely get some capital because as much as much information
- 46:45Speaker 2: you know about the game or whatever game you do,
- 46:47Speaker 2: you're not going to be able to change change your
- 46:49Speaker 2: circumstances unless you have enough money, yeah to change it,
- 46:53Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. So everybody want to be independent,
- 46:56Speaker 2: but who's willing to put the bag up? Like right
- 46:58Speaker 2: now we're independent. I'm like three hundred thousand on.
- 47:03Speaker 3: One record on.
- 47:06Speaker 1: The new record.
- 47:07Speaker 2: Yeah that's one record. I'm not even talking about the
- 47:09Speaker 2: whole tape. So you gotta you gotta have you know
- 47:12Speaker 2: what I'm saying.
- 47:13Speaker 3: You gotta have your money.
- 47:14Speaker 1: So when you're because you're the type of guy who
- 47:17Speaker 1: if you wanted to find a deal, you can find
- 47:19Speaker 1: a deal. Like there's there's a record deal out there
- 47:22Speaker 1: right now for French mind dat.
- 47:23Speaker 3: Yeah one million.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Why you've done something, You've been doing independent stuff for
- 47:28Speaker 1: a while, Like I feel like the cookeoy shit would
- 47:30Speaker 1: be dependent on the side, Like what is it about
- 47:33Speaker 1: being independent that entices you? Right now?
- 47:36Speaker 2: I mean, look, labels, they had artists, development, they had
- 47:40Speaker 2: all this, so you so for a new artist, Also,
- 47:44Speaker 2: there's nothing wrong with signing with a label because you
- 47:46Speaker 2: could use their marketing money and all this budget and
- 47:49Speaker 2: this and that so you can become the superstar, grow
- 47:51Speaker 2: your fan base. The whole game is about data. You
- 47:53Speaker 2: collect data and use the data, you know what I'm saying,
- 47:56Speaker 2: to your advantage. But when you become a certain type
- 47:59Speaker 2: of artists like like me or like you know, like
- 48:04Speaker 2: whoever ross or you know, anybody got a name.
- 48:08Speaker 1: Like even like someone like where's Khalifa? Where's has been
- 48:10Speaker 1: doing shit independently?
- 48:12Speaker 2: Exactly, yeah, exactly, So there's there's a lane for that,
- 48:16Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. There's a lane for that,
- 48:17Speaker 2: and you don't need the label at that time because
- 48:20Speaker 2: the label done their job. All fairness to them, because
- 48:23Speaker 2: there's nothing there's nothing against the labels because when you
- 48:26Speaker 2: give them the music, even though they kept your masters
- 48:28Speaker 2: did all this, you still eat off the merriage. You
- 48:31Speaker 2: still eat off a distribution, you know. You know, there's
- 48:34Speaker 2: a lot of things until they came u with three
- 48:35Speaker 2: sixty deals and then that's what's like a hold on
- 48:38Speaker 2: now and now you're overdoing it. But until you get
- 48:42Speaker 2: your capital, you should not worry about your masses until
- 48:45Speaker 2: you get enough money in your pocket that you can
- 48:47Speaker 2: give your music the fear marketing, the fear promotion, the
- 48:52Speaker 2: fear look for yourself. Don't just get too smart for
- 48:55Speaker 2: yourself and just drop music independent with no money.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Then it's like, you know.
- 48:59Speaker 1: Yeah, a must I use the machine. And then if
- 49:02Speaker 1: it makes sense and that's run in catalogs independently.
- 49:06Speaker 3: And that's when it makes sense.
- 49:07Speaker 2: When it'd be like, you know, ten percent of of
- 49:09Speaker 2: a fucking watermelon is better than one hundred percent of
- 49:12Speaker 2: a grape of a great you know what I'm saying.
- 49:15Speaker 3: So it's just like, mak it, make your money.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Do you enjoy running point on your ship now where
- 49:21Speaker 1: it's like yeah, I.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Love it, Yeah, I love it because you know what
- 49:24Speaker 2: it is when you run point. You want to do
- 49:29Speaker 2: it because it all comes back to you and for
- 49:32Speaker 2: your kids. And you leave it, you're leaving the legacy behind,
- 49:35Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. When somebody be like, oh,
- 49:38Speaker 2: you got to do Boolet cav right, you would a label,
- 49:43Speaker 2: you were like, damn, I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna
- 49:45Speaker 2: go viral cav And and everything's gonna go back to
- 49:47Speaker 2: this music that goes back to the lake. So even
- 49:50Speaker 2: though you're my guy, I'm standing, I'm be sitting here
- 49:53Speaker 2: with a chip on my shoulder.
- 49:55Speaker 1: It here, I don't want to and they have nothing
- 49:57Speaker 1: to do with you. All fairness, that's some real ship
- 50:00Speaker 1: makes sense, you know what I'm saying. At that point,
- 50:02Speaker 1: it kind of feels like a job.
- 50:03Speaker 3: Like all finners.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Now, I'll look forward, can do whatever, even if I'm tired.
- 50:08Speaker 2: I'm doing this because, uh, this is going through back
- 50:12Speaker 2: to the same.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Pop random question. Uh, let's exclude yourself and anybody in
- 50:17Speaker 1: the coke boys. Uh the greatest cocaine rappers of all time?
- 50:21Speaker 1: Give me five ross okay, jay Z all right, hey listen,
- 50:33Speaker 1: very slept on coke wrapper.
- 50:34Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, he talked. That's all jay Z.
- 50:41Speaker 1: Three six Mafia, okay. Have I was gonna say, they're
- 50:46Speaker 1: more of more of the consuming of the cocaine.
- 50:50Speaker 3: Yeah. Look, you gotta be specifical with your questions.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Drug dealers or drug or cocaine using spelling cocaine, so
- 50:57Speaker 2: not not not doing cocaine and half on the sack
- 51:02Speaker 2: on some blow they purchasing.
- 51:05Speaker 1: They were doing a lot of they were doing every he.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Got half on the sack. All right, you know what,
- 51:11Speaker 2: let's let's let's keep them to the side. Ja ja
- 51:17Speaker 2: we got Ross, Jay, we got Ross.
- 51:21Speaker 1: Hm hmm, there's a really obvious one that's hanging above
- 51:29Speaker 1: my head to the right.
- 51:35Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Clips, of course, yeah, Clips, I was, but
- 51:40Speaker 2: I was, but I'm still trying to think of like
- 51:48Speaker 2: said Gucci, geez, that's that's that's.
- 51:52Speaker 1: The snow man man, That's that's what I was trying
- 51:54Speaker 1: to go, pimps, pimp too. Yeah, jeeze, the snowman now,
- 51:58Speaker 1: I mean, come on, man, that's every where fucking snowman
- 52:00Speaker 1: t shirts. Yeah, which is yeah, which is Uh. Did
- 52:04Speaker 1: you ever run in any issues with Coca Cola pushing
- 52:06Speaker 1: coke boys? No, just a random question.
- 52:09Speaker 3: No, because coke stands for creation of kings everywhere.
- 52:12Speaker 1: We should do the diet coke Boys. Yeah, for everybody
- 52:15Speaker 1: trying to get in shape. Yeah, the aspartame boys. That's
- 52:19Speaker 1: why the idea though, just like, hey, yo, the fucking
- 52:23Speaker 1: diet Coke Boys is like the workout player, the French workout.

- 52:53Speaker 3: Is this there's gonna be everybody okay?
- 52:55Speaker 1: Yeah, but then there's still a metro booming thing that's
- 52:57Speaker 1: gotta happen.
- 52:58Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the only we're working on.
