Taillon Out, Tiedemann In for Jays | Toronto Blue Jays News
Blue Jays on the brink of a Wild Card spot, but a major blow: veteran starter Jameson Taillon goes on the injured list with elbow inflammation, forcing a call-up for rookie Ricky Tiedemann. Taillon had been pitching well in limited action, while Tiedemann, just 24 and already an MLB debuter, steps into the rotation with high potential. Despite the loss, Toronto remains hot — they’re aiming to hit .500 this weekend against the Royals and extend their four-game win streak.
