- 0:05Drama, Darling Drama, Darling drama, Darling. Hey, everybody, it's

- 0:24is with me. Hi, Deana. How's it going, Amy, It's
- 0:27good. We are here, We're sleeveless, we're really feeling this, this
- 0:31summer weather. It is eight am in Los Angeles. We are we are
- 0:36poised. We are ready to jump into Orange County. Which was an insane
- 0:41episode. I mean, Dianna, I was taking notes like I was,
- 0:45you know, uh, what do you call them in the court when they
- 0:48are stenographer? I thought I was taking notes like I was a freaking stenographer
- 0:52up in the peace all night long. I was like, I can't.
- 0:57I gotta sit up, you know. Yeah, but whoa, I mean,
- 1:00just holy smokes, oh god, lets to talk about it. But
- 1:07you know, this is this is Shannon at our best right now. I
- 1:11know her at our worst is at our best. Oh you said it.
- 1:18I said it, Diana Chang, you said it. At her worst is
- 1:21at her best, and and she is authentic to herself, period dot period
- 1:27dot. So well, before we get into that, let me just say
- 1:33I do have a very exciting announcement. This is so fun, So darlings,

- 2:22what you're gonna come, You're gonna we're gonna treat and you know what your
- 2:25taste buds can be like, oh my gosh, Okay, now, seriously,
- 2:30it's like a Housewives, you know party, it's and this is what's
- 2:35so cool is that there are two options. So go to reality Bites live
- 2:42dot com. It's called Reality Bites and essentially what it is is that you
- 2:47can choose from having like a brunch with us or a cocktail hour and it
- 2:53is like literally like you're eating, drinking around an intimate group of of absolute
- 3:00you know, Bravo fanatics, you know who you could we can. It's
- 3:04a it's an upscale, classy event. You get to taste, you get
- 3:08to drink, we get to have fun. It's going to be absolutely fantastic.
- 3:13So check it out. Go to reality bites live dot com you can
- 3:17get your tickets. Again. This is September thirtieth in Los Angeles. So
- 3:23I'm excited, Danny, I know, amazing, this is amazing. I
- 3:29mean, okay, so it's a great idea. Yeah, yeah, God,
- 3:34it's like get Andy in a camera. This is like an actual Housewives
- 3:39night out right, and it's intimate and yet you know it's going to be
- 3:45like a party. I mean, I'm i I you know, we were
- 3:46talking to the event people. I'm like, put a gallon a bubble in
- 3:50the pool because we need to have all of the flavors of a Housewives party,
- 3:54Like should it be a white party? Should people dress in all white?
- 3:57A La Kyle, you know this is the limit. But I just
- 4:01this was such a great idea. Fun can't say it was my idea can't
- 4:05say it was, but I'm thrilled to be a part of this. And
- 4:10was it chef's idea. No, if someone came to us with the idea,
- 4:13so we didn't sound like Lea blexens is an idea for this event.
- 4:17He said, you guys want to do it. We love your book,
- 4:20Amy. First of all, I love that you didn't have to list a
- 4:26goddamn finger that somebody. Yeah, it is all in place, and it
- 4:31is just like, you're amazing, You're amazing, come over here, let's
- 4:36let's go. That's you know what. That's the cool thing about it is
- 4:40that, like you know, and Stuart and I are as We always joke
- 4:43we're scrappy af like we will schlep, we will scrub, we will we
- 4:49will fly, like we just will do anything and get it done, oh
- 4:54one hundred. And we've proven that to each other a time and time again
- 4:58and we have no problem. So the bottom line is is that it is
- 5:01really cool to have a concept come to us that really is such a great
- 5:05idea because you see, these types of things have happened in the zeitgeist of
- 5:11pop culture where celebrities do like little intimate gatherings and things like that. And
- 5:15I'm not saying we're celebrities, but we are Bravo fanatics who want to celebrate
- 5:21with people who are like minded. And it's also about food, you know,
- 5:26so that's the thing. And again I'm focusing so much attention on this
- 5:30podcast and my Cabaramian Vegas which announcement on that coming steeah that you know,
- 5:36I have a lot of balls in the air, so to have again to
- 5:39have this coming our way without having yeah, it's just amazing. And the
- 5:44website's super cute. You deserve it. And also is there a cap like
- 5:48do people have to run now? Because I'm sure there has a certain limit
- 5:53to the amount of people who can show up. You'd think that you're the
- 5:56one who actually is behind this the way that you're supporting it so well.
- 5:59I love it. Deanna Chang is actually the one who came up with no,
- 6:03there has Yeah, there has to be, because you know, the
- 6:06home can only fit so many. Yeah, I don't know what that number
- 6:10is. It gives myself getting over there, I'm like, I got a
- 6:13march on over. We'll get you over We'll get you over there. Yeah,
- 6:17we'll get you over by the pool sip and a drink, it'll be
- 6:20great. So that's a super exciting thing. But in the meantime, before
- 6:25we hop into Orange County, because I really don't want to waste any more
- 6:28time, just just one story, okay, okay, maybe two stories,
- 6:32maybe two stories, okay number one. You were on the line with me
- 6:36when I opened my phone and saw this. But essentially I was like,
- 6:40whoa because it's Tom Sandoval. So I follow Decider dot com on Instagram and
- 6:46it's like a picture of Tom Sandoval with a bloody nose. I was like,
- 6:48oh my god, things are getting nuts on VPR right now. He
- 6:54has been Now this is bad, like he is now, Okay, it's
- 6:57not that. Okay, everybody, calm down. It's not It's just the
- 7:00trailer apparently has dropped for Special Forces, and this is you know, one
- 7:08of those competition shows where they get all these you know, reality or pop
- 7:11culture stars in there and then they compete in like a military type of way.
- 7:16So he apparently he said, and he quotes, I had an affair
- 7:23and I want to take a beating. And then he's got this bloody nose.
- 7:27So I don't know what the bloody nose is. From if it's from
- 7:29just over exertion, but essentially that's what that is. I just want everybody
- 7:34to know it's not like Arianna punched him. You know, let's just be
- 7:39clear that that that's not what's happening, because that's immediately what I thought when
- 7:42I opened this up. I thought, we have another Stas Christen situation where
- 7:46someone got backhanded and we don't want violence. We just don't. We just
- 7:48don't. Everyone is getting their money off this hut. That line is so
- 7:54annoying, very annoying. I'm annoyed. Yeah it is. I'm just annoyed.
- 8:00Moving on like I love it. Well, let me light the let
- 8:05me lighten the load and say again another account I follow Bravo Underscore after Underscore,
- 8:09thoughts, Underscore, which you know, the underscores matter, you know,
- 8:16at the end of the day, they really do. Okay, Can
- 8:18I just say one thing about underscores? Yeah, I got one of my
- 8:22daughter, Yeah, oh you do. You got fortune it was twenty ten,
- 8:28whatever it was. I don't know what it was. I don't know
- 8:30what. I don't even have a story of underscores all I just I just
- 8:35remember my sister having her AOL account and then moving to like a Gmail or
- 8:43whatever it was. Whatever the next thing was, yeah, and she had
- 8:48an underscore. H and whatever happened she had an underscore, and her friend
- 8:54was like underscore, Like, there's no real story, it just can be
- 8:58heartbreaks. I am embarrassed. I don't even ever plug my Twitter because I'm
- 9:05embarrassed to the underscore. It's it's underscore, it's under embarrassment. I have
- 9:13under embarrassment from my underscore. I do. Concept is killing me. I
- 9:18don't even like my I hate my Instagram name. I've been wanting to get
- 9:22that changed for years, but I can't seem to get my handle around it.
- 9:26And every time I try to change it, they won't let me because
- 9:28I'm a business My account is a business account, so it's very complicated.
- 9:33I just want to be like Amy Phillips. I don't like meet Amy Phillips.
- 9:37Okay, I'm sorry, meet me, you've met me here, I
- 9:41am you know. This is what happens when you're like a twenty eight year
- 9:46old who's trying to like make a brand for themselves, and then they grow
- 9:50out of it, and then you're stuck with a meat Amy Phillips and an
- 9:54Amy Phillips underscore on Twitter, Baby we got somebody's got to get you,
- 10:00but one time, correct, I get her sorted out, like a little
- 10:03darling, Like little Darling's look alive. Because Amy, we gotta steps to
- 10:09like we need a streamlined Amy. Yes, I agree. Period. Now
- 10:13I do have real Amy Phillips on TikTok, which I think is fine.
- 10:18That's reasonable. That's reasonable because it's real Housewives and it's real. I mean,
- 10:24I I just was like, I can't. I don't know what to
- 10:26do, you know, I you know what I feel like. It's not
- 10:31that big of a deal. It's just an underscore. It's normal. It's
- 10:35a normal name. I mean, I have a name on Twitter that that
- 10:39that paralyzes me. But it's normal. Okay, I don't like my Instagram
- 10:45name. It paralyzes me, but it's normal paralyzed. Way did you keep
- 10:56saying? But it it takes my legs, but it's normal. It puts
- 11:05me under for days, but it's normal. It's like, oh my god,
- 11:09maybe deep depression for weeks upon end, but it's it's it's just it's
- 11:16just family blended. It's just we have arguments. Oh my god, help
- 11:24me. Oh outside. So yeah, get me through the goddamn day.
- 11:28Yeah, it really will. I'm out so embarrassed. This is me at
- 11:33my this is me at my most vulnerable. You look at my Twitter name
- 11:37and that's why I haven't reached the success that I want. You look at
- 11:43my Instagram name and you see it clearly. Your girl's not going anywhere.
- 11:48Your girls it. Oh my god, help me help me. Lord.
- 11:54Thank you to Bravo, Underscore after Underscore thoughts, Underscore for really spearheading this
- 12:00conversation, because this is why. Because they posted, and shall I say,
- 12:05reposted a video that's from TikTok. This is what you gotta do.
- 12:09You gotta credit everybody, but it is and I'm going to tell you that
- 12:11TikTok name in just one second, but the second I click on the video,
- 12:16it's gonna start playing and I can't do that right now. But so,
- 12:20Taylor Armstrong was out with her husband and the paps were all over her
- 12:26and she was living her best life talking it up to them. She is
- 12:31totally I mean, she's three sheets to the wind. It is so funny.
- 12:35Okay, so let's just listen. I guess the Real Housewives Orange County
- 12:41is busy enough for you, but maybe you better stay tuned because they're reunion.
- 12:46It's about to happen, and I'm not sure you understand crazy this for
- 12:52its dirtiest are you kidding? As? So? What? Okay? So
- 13:01that's from the video was shot by Loope de Lo Santos and that's on TikTok
- 13:11so oh wait, TikTok is at Hollywood Entertainment Entertainment A one. I can't,
- 13:20I can't, I'm out, but but I just want to say that
- 13:24this is so funny. She is like so wasted, and she's like somebody
- 13:30didn't know her name, so she was reading them for filth. She was
- 13:33like, good what you don't know my name? I'm done with you.
- 13:37This is the old school crew over here and they're like Taylor and she's like
- 13:41thank you. I mean, she was on fire. She's like, you
- 13:45don't even know what's gonna happen on Orange County Reunion. It is going down
- 13:52and then she's like posing and she's swizzling. I can't explain, and she's
- 13:58like kissing, blowing, She's building an orange. She is living her best
- 14:05life. She's an orange where it's at. Yeah, She's like yeah,
- 14:09it's I mean, she'll like present the Orange. I'm not kidding you.
- 14:13It's so funny Orange. Yes, she's like the Orange is where it's at.
- 14:18I'm telling you, these girls you're gonna this reunion is dirty. I
- 14:24mean, it is life changing. It's great. It's the tailor that we
- 14:26want to see. It's she's fun, she's loose, she's a little drunk,
- 14:31but she's having a blast. And I all, can I all encourage
- 14:35you to go watch it at Bravo Underscore after Underscore thoughts Underscore. This is
- 14:41the tailor. I would love to see pop ye okay on Real Housewives of
- 14:48Orange County if she could maybe move some of this lighthearted, delightful energy over
- 14:56to the program, Yeah, that would be helpful. The thing is,
- 15:01I really don't think there has been room for her. I think she's playing
- 15:05it cool and I don't. I hear what you're saying, and I agree
- 15:09with you and I and I also stand by the idea that I think that
- 15:15she's not forcing it, which I appreciate, Like she's not shoving herself in
- 15:20there where she doesn't belong. She's kind of playing it cool and she's letting
- 15:24whatever happen and it be organic. And right now, the timing is off.
- 15:31The timing is off for her, you know, yeah, I agree,
- 15:35So I just hope Yeah, yeah, I agree. I do.
- 15:37Harken back to what you said about Atlanta, the new girls in Atlanta,
- 15:41and ultimately Taylor's a new girl. And yeah, at the end of the
- 15:46day, she is the end. At the end of the day, she's
- 15:50the antithesis of Tamera. Yeah, she is the anti Tamra and we like
- 15:56that. Uh huh, But you gotta grab your moments. I mean,
- 16:02yes, you listen, you're like the O in Atlanta. The ogs are
- 16:06kind of slipping a little bit, and that's the time for the newbies to
- 16:10like not worry about the og is. Like, do you get yours?
- 16:12Make your impact? Felts I guess, but like that what you just played.
- 16:18And I'm not saying Taylor needs to get drunk right right right right?
- 16:22But can she do that? Like does that not? Can we have fun?
- 16:27I mean I think I listened, I was. I had listened to
- 16:30her this week on Jeff Lewis's show, and she was awesome. Yeah she
- 16:37is. She's got a lot to give and she's funny and I think she's
- 16:41kookie, and we saw a little bit of that on Ultimate Girl's Trip as
- 16:45well, but we also saw the depth and the heart that she has too,
- 16:48So I mean, I do think the time will will come for her.
- 16:53I don't think anyone's going to give up on her. I mean,
- 16:55she's just a friend of right now anyway. So she's a friend. It's
- 17:03just a friend, I mean, and so is Jen. So but Jen
- 17:06seems to be getting in there because she's part of the drama. But see,
- 17:08I like that Taylor's not taking that route, like she's kind of the
- 17:11fun friend. She's having fun with that role and we'll see where it goes,
- 17:18Okay. I mean, yeah, I have been forgetting about her on
- 17:22the show, and I don't think that's the right place for her to be.
- 17:26But if you what I like, what I like that I'm hearing right
- 17:30now is that she's coming back next season, I feel like in your professional
- 17:34opinion, and I do like, then I feel good, we'll catch you
- 17:38on the next one. Like, I think it's great that she showed up
- 17:42at Shannon's party and was like having fun. Yeah, you know, like
- 17:47I think that she's she's she's on the right track. So I think her
- 17:51star will rise. It's just that, and I agree with you, some
- 17:53of that energy really needs to be seen. And speaking of let's talk about
- 17:59Orange count. So we start with a very quiet, you know scene,
- 18:04uh you know, the the seagulls are and it's just like dead silence,
- 18:10and then it's just like Shannon going talking with John on his houseboat. I
- 18:15felt ambushed. I told Heather something private and she betrayed me, and he's
- 18:21like, be careful who you trust. And then she's like why why would
- 18:26she want to hurt me or us? So it's how it beg is this
- 18:33this is this accent? Maybe this is too much for me at this hour,
- 18:37Like that's too good. That is too holy shit. Okay, wow,
- 18:45it's dramatic. Here's some dramatic music. I just was ambushed and I
- 18:52told Heather some information that she she just decided to betray me with and these
- 18:56girls. I don't know. That's oh my god, there you go.
- 19:03That's that's that's just some fun with the Okay. So, and I feel
- 19:07bad for her because she really is spoid? Did she take it on the
- 19:11chin? This this episode? Holy shit? And the juxtaposition of Jen telling
- 19:19the story about Dominic and that beautiful, that the adoption was just gorgeous.
- 19:26The Exonarees, the the the irony of having Emily talk about the Exonarees and
- 19:33how they've spent, you know, a huge portion of their lives behind bars,
- 19:38having not been actually guilty of a crime, and to then wrap up
- 19:44that saying, what do we have to complain about? Like that's horrible?
- 19:48What do we have to complain about? And then the editors swooping in with
- 19:52Shannon with her Taco Fiesta decor, going it's just just I can't I have
- 19:57I am done? I yeah, I just thought, boy, they are
- 20:02hitting her from everyone, you know, like yeah, wow, wowow,
- 20:08God. I mean, Shannon was she was on goddamn fire. You know,
- 20:15there's no one who when she's going down emotionally, there's no one who
- 20:25makes me laugh. And this I don't say this comfortably, you know,
- 20:29listen, I know I'm not supposed to be laughing, but the way Shannon
- 20:36falls apart kills me. Like I was laughing because it's so different than I
- 20:44think anyone else falls apart, and seeing her trying to come back up and
- 20:51put a lid on things trying to get a lid on it. You were
- 20:56really on the journey with her, because she doesn't you know when she says
- 21:00like I wear my emotions on my sleeve and Emily's like, whoa. I
- 21:03mean, it's like, okay, Emily, but you know, you haven't
- 21:07been here for as long as Shannon. And this is where I'm gonna say,
- 21:10step back for a second, Like Shannon fucking give her a break.
- 21:15Every season, I keep saying this every season. It's like they just keep
- 21:19coming for her, I swear, and she has really shown a lot.
- 21:26So yes she does, and so she wears her emotions on her sleeve.
- 21:30And then you're with her on the phone. You know, you feel it,
- 21:33you feel her. Oh it's so hard, it goes through. It's
- 21:37really a lot to go through, you know, and we are going through
- 21:41it with her. I mean, I guess at the end of the day,
- 21:45this John character, this bootleg al gore mofo is you know he's not
- 21:56doing right by her because you don't get into this state that she's in a
- 22:00fear. That's what I'm seeing. She is in total red fear of what
- 22:11the repercussions are going to be of anyone speaking about their relationship like it's really
- 22:17bad. She is, you know, pulling producers out of every bush to
- 22:22stop what's going to happen, which is him hearing that she's talking about their
- 22:29relationship, right, I mean, like that's the that's what's at the core
- 22:33of what's happening inside of her. Right. So something is very, very
- 22:38wrong with their relationship. It's not regular stuff. I don't believe. I
- 22:45think that he's putting making her feel this like the insecurity level is so high.
- 22:53I feel like they're hanging on by a single thread, and you know
- 22:59she wants it to work. So here, well, that's what I think
- 23:02that the fear is. The fear is that she knows that the beast of
- 23:06reality television and being in the public eye destroys relationships. You don't really have
- 23:14much of a chance. And here's the thing about these I think that Shannon
- 23:18has this the point about her saying, like, you're making it sound like
- 23:22I'm telling you that he's abusing me or like so that the scene at the
- 23:27end when she was finally talking to Emily, I think was a very important
- 23:32scene, which was that she said something along the lines of I know that
- 23:37I've said some things to you, But did have I ever said abuse,
- 23:41you know, drug use, infidelity or like whatever? She said, the
- 23:48big the big ones, you know, the big hitters, right, And
- 23:52Emily's like, no, no, you know, of course not. And
- 23:56and Tamer knows that too, or I told Tamer that too, and she
- 24:00like so. And I think that that's important for her to get out there,
- 24:03because, yeah, Shannon's right, when you are making these insinuations that
- 24:07things aren't good, things aren't right, we're concerned. There's no other way
- 24:14to take that than to say that there are huge abusive undertones about their relationship.
- 24:21So that is what I understand Shannon getting so tied up in because she's
- 24:26thinking this is going to be everywhere on every blog. There are going to
- 24:30be headlines that say cast is concerned, you know it. It can really
- 24:34spiral into infinity about how bad things are, and that's where it can get
- 24:41a little reckless. That's why I think Shannon was it was it was a
- 24:47train, it was off the tracks, you know, and she couldn't.
- 24:52And so that's where I and I'm not saying that their relationship is good.
- 24:56Obviously it's not, and there are problems, but I also don't think that
- 25:00they are. There are have been problems that the cast is insinuating that there
- 25:06are, and that is what bothers me about it. I think that's a
- 25:08little reckless. Now. I have one thing rattling around in my head and
- 25:14I don't remember who said it, and I don't remember, but like who
- 25:17said that he says she's like overweight? Oh right, I think Heather said
- 25:23that. Okay, okay, so that is like that, So that would
- 25:27be that would be abuse. Yeah, that would be like mental abuse,
- 25:30like verbal Yeah. And I feel like, yeah, I agree with every
- 25:37single thing you said, co sign on one hundred percent of it. And
- 25:41I have a feeling that he's been really shitty to her behind the scenes.
- 25:47But but I don't know, right, but she did need to get out
- 25:51those big guys, you know, yes, right, yes, yes,
- 25:56something's not sitting right, you know. And and it is a reality show,
- 26:02you know. So I think the girls are like I mean, Shane
- 26:04has been dragged this way, that way and the other, so right,
- 26:08you know, they all do it like you know, I'm out here in
- 26:11these streets like with every time I'm annoyed or we have a fight, it's
- 26:18not you know we're in the pumpkin farm and we're gonna have if I'm upset,
- 26:22we're talking about it. We're on right. Yes, Well that that
- 26:26begs the question. I mean, you know should I mean that getting back
- 26:32to that point about Shannon saying Emily, I wear my heart, I wear
- 26:36my emotions on my sleeve and my heart on my sleeve, and Emily saying
- 26:38we all do Shannon like this is bullshit. You know you're on her and
- 26:41then mitching the producers like you're on a reality show, you have to talk
- 26:45about it that type of thing. So, and then Shannon having that moment
- 26:49where it was like not just a hot mic, it was a hot camera
- 26:53on her. I mean it was like I was like, I can't believe
- 26:56they're showing this right now because right before Taco the taco party, and then
- 27:04she like walks away when she finds out that someone's not coming and I can't
- 27:08remember who was. There was a lot of them dropping life flies, but
- 27:14she basically was like, if these assholes are going to bring up the details,
- 27:18like about these details, meaning like does he spend enough time with me?
- 27:22Is there going to be enough money? His kid doesn't like me?
- 27:26I can't talk about that on camera. I can't, I can't, don't.
- 27:30This can't go on the camera. That's hurtful. To John, I
- 27:33was like, oh my god, you just said everything that we probably should.
- 27:37So, you know, money issues completely normal, Yes, spending time
- 27:42together completely normal. His kid doesn't like me also very normal in a situation
- 27:48where you've got you know, blending, when you're blending families, and that
- 27:52is hurtful. You know, it's to bring that out. Note should she
- 27:56get a pass? I think so if these people, like, if it's
- 28:00in the vault, like Heather said, then it should be in the vault,
- 28:04you know, like when it comes to these very detailed situations that where
- 28:08there's a child involved about being blended, and yeah, I think there should
- 28:12be things that should be left off of the reality table and if there is
- 28:18a true friendship there and then Emily's saying her argument is that there shouldn't be
- 28:22we're on a reality show. Well, we also want to see real friendships,
- 28:27so how can you build This is just a real problem. It's a
- 28:30real problem for a reality show because you want to build a real friendship,
- 28:33but you want to drive a storyline and that can't happen unless there's some betrayal.
- 28:40Do you think that Heather h like, because Heather is just singing,
- 28:44you know, she's singing like a canary in these confessionals, it's like ouch
- 28:49out, Yeah, I know. It seems like, you know, it
- 28:55seems like Tamra's the one who was dead set about like she's like, I'm
- 28:59going to get this drama out front and center, get ahead of it.
- 29:04I am as Margaret Joseph would say, Yeah, it seems like Tamara is
- 29:10the one who was instigating on camera, like making everyone say their nonsense about
- 29:17Shannon, like she was the instigator. But Heather certainly said a lot,
- 29:23you know, and gosh, I forgot, like what you're saying, it's
- 29:27kind of started with camera. Well yeah, she was the one sort of
- 29:32pulling it out, being like heav you know, Heather saying things behind her
- 29:36back, oh right, every saying yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah camera.
- 29:40And then she's sitting pretty at the taco f so right like you know,
- 29:45but that'spetch us, We're gonna have some fun fiaza and I'm like and
- 29:48then cut to her confessional, She's like, do I think they're gonna get
- 29:51married? No, no, yeah, you know, so she's I think
- 29:57that she lit the fire and then like Heather's going down, but Heather certainly
- 30:04is spouting off. I think that Shannon and John when they first met were
- 30:11doing great, yeah, and was happy to have him on camera, you
- 30:18know, and like it was all exciting and great, and now the relationship
- 30:22is in a tougher spot and she wants to pull back, and I think
- 30:26that is really hard to do on a reality show. Uh huh. Well.
- 30:32I thought it was also interesting what Heather said to Shannon, and that
- 30:34a very explosive fight when Shannon said that John is private, he doesn't like
- 30:40want this, and Heather's like stop saying that, like he's not a private
- 30:44person. I mean, they really broke the fourth wall quite a bit in
- 30:48this episode, with Heather being like, cut it out, you're both on
- 30:51a show. He chose that, and I think one of the things that
- 30:53was maybe not necessarily officially in the vault, because it doesn't seem like it
- 30:59would be some thing Shannon would say, don't tell anyone this. But I
- 31:03think that Shannon probably joked around with Heather saying, oh, John loves the
- 31:07limelight, you know, he loves being in you know, so Heather has
- 31:11that information and now is sharing it and saying like, well, you're not
- 31:15a private person and you love being in the limelight. So then you have
- 31:18to take what goes with being in the limelight, which is this, Yeah,
- 31:23they always end up here, They always end up here, Like,
- 31:26it's never not going to be this in a relationship. It's never not going
- 31:30to be this yet, because you know, when someone's going down, you
- 31:37know you and then there's a gall over on the side who you know has
- 31:42the drama but is not speaking up, and is that like it's I think
- 31:48it's impossible to just let them sit there and not bring them in because like,
- 31:53gosh, wow, I mean Amy, the way Emily went and you're
- 31:59impression just maybe, but the way she went from zero to one hundred on
- 32:01that call was in my life, Like that was a fine moment from this
- 32:08episode you now, just letting her go in like a twenty second span from
- 32:14like casual, how's it going sold? Turggle it Lie, I can't do
- 32:20it on fright arm and then her the comedy of her she could not hang
- 32:24up from that FaceTime And I assume we all saw it, and we've all
- 32:29like, I feel like we've all been there on some level. It was
- 32:31very like uh question mark from Luanne when she was voice mellowing to Tom.
- 32:37You know ye see that was a great moment. And also I know that
- 32:42this is very insignificant. But another great moment was when someone went over to
- 32:46Jen's house. Can't think of who it was, Gina. Gina went over
- 32:52to Jen's house and Jen's like, oh, this never gets hot enough,
- 32:57like the currig or whatever. Yeah, and then she has like her she
- 33:00has to like warm up her coffee in the microwave after that, and I
- 33:02was like, I feel it's like so seen. I feel seen. She's
- 33:07now my favorite housewife, like just because I'm like, thank you for showing
- 33:10this moment, like yes, those are the things, those are the things,
- 33:15and constantly having to like and I don't use krig. I have a
- 33:17regular coffee pot, but I feel like if I when I go back to
- 33:22it, get back right into that coffee pot. I had to pop that
- 33:25thing right in the microphone. It's not going to be enough. Emily at
- 33:30my desk sits this, which is Oh, I'm so jealous. I've always
- 33:35wanted one of those. It's my sister Lauren got this for me. I
- 33:38think it's under thirty dollars. You get it on Amazon, and it's a
- 33:43little warm plate warmer that you can set the time and the temp, so
- 33:47if you want it for an hour or two and I my coffee immediately when
- 33:53I'm working, you know, I get up in the morning, go to
- 33:55my computer, that goes on, my coffee, sits on it right away.
- 34:00I am keeps it stupid. I don't know why I've never done this.
- 34:07It's an important I didn't know about it. I did last year.
- 34:10I did. I knew about it, and I just thought forgot about it,
- 34:14and I thought, you know, I'll be tripping over another cord.
- 34:16I will be, it will fall, Okay, but it's worth it.
- 34:22That's not to say I don't have to pop a coffee in the microwave for
- 34:27thirty before it sits on this plate. But once it's on there, it's
- 34:32a done deal situated because it is holding the temperature. It is keeping it
- 34:38at temperature, you know, and that feels nice. It sure does.
- 34:45All right, let's get back into it. Okay. That was a I
- 34:49wish that was an hashtag ad. Yeah, anytime we're available Okay, so
- 34:58I don't even know where Okay, where should we even like jump back in?
- 35:01I have so many notes, I don't know what to say. God,
- 35:06I mean, it feels like, you know, we could go away
- 35:09and then come back to more. Shannon, I mean, do we want
- 35:13to go to the condo? Who's I don't know who's condo? Oh,
- 35:20Heather's pet, Heather's penthouse. You have to say, Okay, I'm sorry,
- 35:25Yes, we need to change this to see that. Yeah, yes,
- 35:36okay, I'm just scrolling through my notes. So and Terry. Yes,
- 35:39they're an escrow for a penthouse in La. It's fourteen million dollars and
- 35:45I love it. In her confession, She's like, now, when I
- 35:46get a call for a last minute part, I can do it in Orange
- 35:51County. No, And I was like, why not? Like, why
- 35:53can't you do a last minute part Orange? You can? Like she must
- 35:59mean like an audition or something. But also I'm like, it's just the
- 36:01irony of watching this while there's a strike is just not lost on me,
- 36:06you know what I mean? It is of it is good. But Roberto
- 36:10Cavali, this is the first home he's done, which actually is very impressive
- 36:16and very interesting. But I felt like, all of a sudden, I've
- 36:20now been what I'm watching a whole other show. It's a design show,
- 36:23and I am just like so Heather and Terry always have something up their sleeve
- 36:30for building their empire out and and God love them for that, you know,
- 36:34huge respect, right, But this is clearly what's next. I mean,
- 36:37we've got we're selling this house that they haven't told anybody about yet,
- 36:43but we'll be the biggest sale in the history of Orange County, which we
- 36:45now come to learn because they sell it eventually for like fifty five million.
- 36:50But they have this penthouse and we have a million. I mean, can
- 36:53we What's I mean? He's a plastic surgeon. I'm just trying to understand
- 37:00what happening. He's a plastic surgeon. He also has a television show that
- 37:05has been on for many, many years. I think that Let's also say
- 37:12that they've made great investments. You know, they probably made good investments,
- 37:15and this is probably the biggest turnaround they've ever you know, done with this
- 37:20fifty five million, because as Terry said, like I love this house,
- 37:23I want to be buried in it, but for that price tag, I'll
- 37:27be buried somewhere else. So, but I'm thinking they are poised for a
- 37:31leap into the flipping market, into the design market. That's where they're going
- 37:37next. I had said about Lisa vander Pump, like she's done in West
- 37:42Hollywood, she's take picking up the landing gear and she's going to drop it
- 37:45down in Vegas and expand the empire there. And that's the future of vander
- 37:49Pump. And that is, in fact what she's doing. She's got that
- 37:51new restaurant popping up over in the Flamingo, And for Heather and Terry,
- 37:55their future is definitely going to be in design real estate in that market.
- 38:02Whether it's exactly flipping, I don't know, but it's definitely going to be
- 38:07along those lines high end flipping. Maybe. I don't, you know,
- 38:10because this is just too on the nose for me, Like it's too what
- 38:15it is, right right, it's too what it is. Yeah, I
- 38:19was taking it in like a peasant, like really, I was giving it
- 38:23no extra layer of thought. I was just like, look at those finishes.
- 38:27I don't really think about finishes that much. There's certainly a lot of
- 38:30different materials, a lot of finishes. Do I like it too many finishes.
- 38:34No, you know, I didn't like it. I respect that it's
- 38:37Roberto Cavali, but and it looks very elegant in chic. Not my style
- 38:42at all, not my style at all in the least bit not my style.
- 38:45Yeah, I'm like, I just don't know that. I think it's
- 38:51so so damn special. I mean, I get it, but I don't
- 38:54know about it, you know, Like I was like, do I want
- 38:58to be in there? Not really, I don't know. Oh I'm not
- 39:01a penthouse person. I want a cozy home. And yeah, I totally
- 39:07agree. Is there a market for that, absolutely sure, But I just
- 39:12can't see Heather being that goo goo Gaga over a penthouse. It just doesn't
- 39:15seem like her. Why, You're right, the long game is the flipping
- 39:22thing. We're cooking up something and we're mad. Respect, I'm going to
- 39:27follow, We're going to follow this. Yeah, I mean, fifty five
- 39:30million is just a heart stopping number, you know, I mean that is
- 39:35we're I guess what just blows my hair back a little bit is that we'll
- 39:38hear of stars who are selling their six million dollar home. They're ten million,
- 39:45you know, yeah, five I know million is Jesu Beyonce money,
- 39:52you know what I mean, that's j Lo money. Like, that's just
- 39:54it's just to me, at least in my head. I don't know if
- 39:58I'm no, the more you say it, the more I'm knocked out.
- 40:01Oh kid, it just was like, I'm like fifty, Like, let's
- 40:05just get into not five million, not ten, not twenty, not thirty
- 40:09right forty, not fifty fifty five million dollars fifty five, you know,
- 40:22I just it's just and the fourteen million dollar penthouse, which is an enormous
- 40:27price tag for a penthouse, seems like nothing to them. Nothing, you
- 40:30see, it is nothing. And then they go and buy this other house
- 40:34you know that they're now working on, which you know about, right,
- 40:38No, but you know maybe I did. Who knows. It's hard to
- 40:43keep trapped. Yeah, it will just it just hit the news about it.
- 40:45But oh okay, so all right, well I would love to talk
- 40:50about Well, the foster kitten thing was adorable, and the dominic thing.
- 40:54I thought that was a really beautiful scene. I felt a little awkward with
- 40:58her talking to him about It's so like, this is our story, We're
- 41:01going to share this, and you're I'm gonna be you know, I don't
- 41:06want to say using you as a pawn, but he seemed very comfortable and
- 41:12that's why I was okay with it in the end, because her like her
- 41:17demeanor and her approach is so kind and gentle, and I love this side
- 41:24of her. I am just really looking forward to this relationship with Ryan coming
- 41:30to a flaming end because let's move on from him. But I love like
- 41:36the fostering the kittens, the sweet scene talking about you know, the skin
- 41:39color, and her asking about, you know, do you want to meet
- 41:44your birth mother? Things like that. I just think it's so relatable to
- 41:47so many people. And these are the moments that I feel like with reality
- 41:52television, we can go from a fourteen million dollar penthouse scene to a taco
- 41:55fiesta where no one's showing up, to this beautiful, nice scene about life
- 42:01and what's real. And I really enjoyed it. Yeah, it was.
- 42:07She what a hell of a first season Jenna's had. She's just pitch perfect
- 42:10as a you know, a god, I mean tip in the hat like
- 42:15she is just she's the middle ground between Tamra. I wanted to call her
- 42:22Tabata Tamra and Taylor it's like she's just in there and she's authentic and she's
- 42:31herself and she's connected and she's giving. But it's just straight on and I
- 42:38just think she's fantastic. I what what made that scene? Listen, if
- 42:46you're going, yes, always with children, regardless of the situation, I'm
- 42:52always like, we're really putting these kids out there, you know. Yeah,
- 42:54yeah, and he's very young. What made it a softer landing for
- 43:00me is that she's had him since eleven months, So I didn't know if
- 43:04this was a newer foster child, and that would have really thrown me.
- 43:08But just because it was all, you know, this is their life and
- 43:13it's her kid and got it, you know, and they're having this conversation
- 43:16and it was lovely and you know she's it's it's a very special story and
- 43:25wonderful. You know. Yeah, I liked it a lot. And I'll
- 43:30also say with Gina being at Gen's house, you said that Jenna's having a
- 43:36really phenomenal season, Well, I think that it is her moves, her
- 43:42house. She's got some housewives moves. Because Gina comes over and the second
- 43:45she's sitting down there with that hot coffee, I mean she was like,
- 43:51Okay, well, Shannon hasn't really said anything about you and Travis. But
- 43:57what she did say was your kids would have been taken away by CPS if
- 44:01she didn't step in. And Gina being like any is a complete fool,
- 44:10she lads along off phone number because I need in an attorney help. It's
- 44:19just so, I mean, she passed. She this. Their stories aren't
- 44:24straight, both of them. So if Gina's story is right, then Shannon's
- 44:29lying. And if Shannon's story isn't right, then Shannon's lying. When Shannon
- 44:32says this, this attorney called the DA at ten o'clock at night and woke
- 44:38him up out of a dead sleep, you know, like he's she said
- 44:43that, which is right? That was the story, Like she the attorney
- 44:47called the DA. Now that is a very big deal. I'm not not
- 44:53to say she I mean, let's put it this way. For her to
- 44:57say about the CPS thing was nast That was a Mary Low blow, and
- 45:02she's passed. She's she's retaliating against Gina for not being there for her.
- 45:09And and Gina was like, that's and I think Gina's reaction was absolutely valid.
- 45:16But Gina saying, if that was everyone's kids in Orange County will be
- 45:20locked off right now. But which was a good point, you know,
- 45:24I mean I saw something. Yeah, I'm so sorry. Yeah, this
- 45:30is not this is nothing. But I saw someone on Twitter questioning what and
- 45:34I think it might be a Long Island thing because I'm from Long Island.
- 45:37She called it a dwi, which is what we call a d u.
- 45:42I yeah, do you call it a d wee? No? Yeah,
- 45:45I think it's a Long Island thing because I'm from Long Island. And when
- 45:49she said, people were like, what did she say? What's a dwe
- 45:52I know I did not catch that. Yeah, she said dewey and anyway,
- 45:58neither here nor there. But I was so glad that's a weird Long
- 46:01Island thing they call it. That's funny. Okay, well there, But
- 46:08yes, I think, you know, it does seem like, well,
- 46:15it seems like there's two things going on. Gina gets what she needs from
- 46:21people and then drops them right a little bit like she did it with Heather.
- 46:27She just seems to do that a little bit. Yeah. It doesn't
- 46:31have one hundred percent loyalty here. She's in it to play the game and
- 46:37to stay on the show. On some level, and she's also rightfully mad
- 46:40on some level. But right and then it seems like Shannon, it's such
- 46:46a sensitive thing to want to keep getting credit for. Yeah, it's not
- 46:52a great look. I mean, I don't know. I can't imagine like
- 46:55constantly being like I saved your life in terms of this situation. It's just
- 47:02a great favor that you know she's using. I don't know both of them
- 47:08are they're both weird about it. Yeah, I agree, but I think
- 47:15to hold that over her, you know, is a little odd. But
- 47:21it is a big but for Gina to say, like all she did was
- 47:23pass on a phone number, Lady, that doesn't worry right now. I'm
- 47:27sorry. I think Shannon was there for you a lot more than you're giving
- 47:30your credit for in this moment. And I mean we saw the facetimes,
- 47:35We saw you falling apart, and he saw that this was a mess.
- 47:37And if if it is true that this lawyer called the DA at ten o'clock
- 47:42at night, that's a huge connection. And you know, you could have
- 47:46been arrested. Would your children have gone to CPS? No, they probably
- 47:52would not have. They would have gone if there was no one to take
- 47:57them you know what I'm saying, Like they would have had her call her
- 48:00husband or a or her family or someone to take them. That would have
- 48:07happened. That would have absolutely happened, because that's what happens when there's a
- 48:09warrant out and then you go to get them. You do have to put
- 48:13your kids somewhere immediately. They can't just wait around for you to get called.
- 48:17You know, Like I watched I know, I've watched a lot of
- 48:22footage. I mean, this is so funny. The irony is that I
- 48:25watched like a something on TikTok where it's basically like the show Cops, you
- 48:30know, but it's it's footage from their body cam. And it is really
- 48:36interesting because you really get to see what it's like for a police officer to
- 48:40be engaged with a criminal or somebody who's on the brink of potentially doing something
- 48:47wrong, and you kind of feel that fear of like, I don't know
- 48:52what this person's gonna do. I don't know what they have in their house.
- 48:53All I know is they have a warrant out for their arrest. They
- 48:57said, Like I was watching this footage, this woman had said she had
- 49:00a BB gun, but then at the other day she's like, well,
- 49:01you're just thinking, well, what if she doesn't have a bb gun,
- 49:05And the cops kind of do a sidebar so to hear their conversation. I
- 49:07think she's lying. We got to be careful she's she's now she's not opening
- 49:13the door. We're gonna have to go through the window because there's a warrant
- 49:15out. And then this woman was making she was trying to be all nice
- 49:21and kind and to try to like, you know, not have them arrest
- 49:25her. But at the end of the day, she was going to get
- 49:28arrested, so she it was a cat and mouse thing, and she just
- 49:31led them on for the longest time. They had to go in and get
- 49:34her and her kids had been in the house, but she sent them down
- 49:37the street. So when they took her to the car, the police car,
- 49:40she again wasn't complying and saying like you know, they were like,
- 49:45who, what is your husband's number, you know, or you're the kid's
- 49:49father's number, and she was not giving them the information, and they were
- 49:52finally like, we're done playing with you. If you don't give us this,
- 49:57like your kids will be taken somewhere else, like essentially to CPS or
- 50:01wherever if you're not going to cooperate. So it was interesting to see,
- 50:07like those steps can be taken in the worst possible case scenario that would not
- 50:10have happened with Gina, but like it can absolutely happen. Yes, yes,
- 50:15that makes sense, and to think I had to be reminded of like
- 50:20how Gina had been in this situation to begin with, that she had a
- 50:23hearing for her DUI that she didn't show up for, but that's because she
- 50:27thought that her attorney had made arrangements to postpone and reschedule the date of the
- 50:35hearing. But he filed something a request to you know, reschedule, and
- 50:40that request was denied, denied, and he did not know that, so
- 50:46like he didn't check to make sure that it was filed and that he did
- 50:50not know that it was denied. So that's why that was a warrant out.
- 50:52I just want to remind people why that was. Wow, oh wow,
- 50:58that is some base like buddy, I know, ma'am whoever you are
- 51:04bad, bad, bad, so bad. Well, and you know what
- 51:08I'm hearing amy is that did Emily And I don't have oc recorded in my
- 51:14brain, like this. But did Gina ever, sorry, Gina ever,
- 51:17like give Shannon her proper due and thank you. I think she did.
- 51:23Oh she did, so Gina, I do? I do? Yes.
- 51:28And now it's just they're playing. Now they're hurting each other by saying I've
- 51:32done this for you. You didn't do anything for me. You know.
- 51:36That's what I think. And it's not right. Okay, yeah, yeah
- 51:40bad. But she was also drunk and she didn't she did. We see
- 51:45in the previews that she swears on her life that she didn't say it right,
- 51:51that's right, because she was to keel it up and with her little
- 51:54baby cultural appropriation. Yah, yeah, I did that sombrero when she was
- 52:04upset. Also, I couldn't get a sense of the scale of the party
- 52:09at the beginning, and I was like, can we get like a PA
- 52:14to help her? I mean, I just didn't know. I was very
- 52:16con I was like, the table was all this alone, Like can we
- 52:22can we call a friend? Like can we just have another set of hand?
- 52:27Right? But she, I mean she went to home Goods and she
- 52:30stocked up. She's been planning this great she this this taco night was a
- 52:36big deal and and why was it what was it? Why did we have
- 52:39it? Was there a reason? Was there anything behind it? That was
- 52:44National Taco Night? It was National Taco Do Okay, So that's I'm trying
- 52:49to look further and there's no nowhere else. What was going on? Yeah?
- 52:53You know, I will say I did love Emily's confessional where she was
- 52:58like, I love tacos. Oh you know it's wrong. I know,
- 53:00I'm really mad if I can't get there, and then her other confessional about
- 53:06like like the back to back confessionals about when after Heather said, you seem
- 53:10to not remember that you tell lots of people lots of things, and then
- 53:15Shannon saying like, oh now I'm a looney bin. And then Heather in
- 53:19her confessional Shannon drinks at night and calls a plethora of people Gina. She
- 53:24drinks the True Seerum Tamra. The next morning she gets no memory of it.
- 53:29And then Emily she should have a phone breathwiser on her phone, like,
- 53:32I thought that was hilarious to unlock it. That was such a funny
- 53:36comment. I mean, these ladies were hitting on all they went in.
- 53:40They went in. I am just looking over at my notes and I just
- 53:45would like to say this, seeing Shannon trying to rally, you know at
- 53:50the park, right, I said, is art? It is? It
- 53:55is a form of art, you know, just lighthearted night. I just
- 54:01wanted to Oh, that tequila gun was so aggressive and un I didn't like
- 54:13that guy. I don't like noodle man. I know what you're doing back
- 54:15there. You're freaking me out with your energy and the way you're shooting at
- 54:21close range. Taylor's mouth up with tequila, like get out of here.
- 54:25It was. I didn't like it. I felt, yeah, yeah,
- 54:30I like that Tamra threw the gun away because that was just too much.
- 54:34Yeah, oh my god. And how about what Eddie said. Here's you
- 54:39know, like Eddie saying that like always happy to celebrate their relationship, and
- 54:45then Eddie saying, so there's no other girl you're fucking That was amazing.
- 54:52I was like, Wow, we just showed up to taco. I know,
- 54:55I'm like, go ahead, Tequila's I never like when I I see
- 55:00these gals throwing back shots. I'm like, I can't remember the last time
- 55:05I had a shot. Oh I know now, Yes, It's just such
- 55:09an intense way to turn up, you know. And I also think to
- 55:15myself, gotch when are you going to turn up? You know, like
- 55:16I wonder that about myself. It's like, I'll turn but am I going
- 55:23to turn up you now? Probably not. I haven't turned up in quite
- 55:29some time. And so listen, I feel your dinner party is an opportunity
- 55:34to turn up as long as it's not to the point of no return.
- 55:37So just sewing that out there. But they did so many shots and they
- 55:40were talking. It was yeah, that was something else. And then how
- 55:45about the last scene, which was Shannon and Emily meet up for lunch,
- 55:50and it was it was nice because you can tell they have a friendship and
- 55:54Emily's like, well, now that I see you, like I feel bad.
- 55:58I just want to have fun with you. Like it was sweet.
- 56:00It was cute. Emily full buck, crack out, gott a lover.
- 56:07Yeah, shann like her little. She really was there for coffee and they
- 56:13shot her from behind and it was like, well, there we go.
- 56:16Is there a whale till? Yeah? It wasn't you know, like listen,
- 56:21she's got a great body, always whale tail with the thong sticking out.
- 56:25Oh that whale tail. Like I wasn't I didn't know I figured you
- 56:32were saying something about I didn't know exactly, but I was like dewey or
- 56:37whatever. Yeah, it was very dewey. I mean it was such a
- 56:40cute scene and I felt Shannon receiving because she was really coming in like are
- 56:45these people my friends are not? And it was nice, you know,
- 56:51it was she really Shannon does wear her emotions on her sleep. You can
- 56:55see that expression everything, every single thing, her taking it, every word
- 57:00of Emily and the face right that every word. No, that's why she's
- 57:07a gold star. Yeause Shannon is actually going through it, you know,
- 57:13Like I would say, a lot of the Beverly Hills girls could pull a
- 57:15page like Shannon is given. She's giving us. You know, it's all
- 57:22happening in real time. She's gonna run over those producers if if she's if
- 57:29nothing else is gonna happen, she's gonna run over those producers and start to
- 57:32have a meltdown. She's gonna like just feel it all and we're gonna see
- 57:38it. You know. God, that was so sad when she I mean,
- 57:43after they were dropping like flies at her party and she's trying to set
- 57:45up for it. It was really hard breaking it felt very real. Were
- 57:50like the producer said, now she just hung up on me and she's by
- 57:53party after couples like she was so sad. It was, and you know,
- 58:01most of these parties are powered by an entertainment person. So I did
- 58:06enjoy even though I was like, we don't have a second set of hands
- 58:09over here. I did enjoy seeing a galet together an event like absolute old
- 58:16school hands on, you know, grassroots effort. I agree, And it
- 58:23was so much more personal. It wasn't in a huge bank Aarin on New
- 58:30York. Yeah, yeah, with eighteen speakers and whatever. But I did
- 58:37love when they ordered and she's like, what's so fat? I'll take a
- 58:40cheeseburger, but then without the bread, and then yeah, Emily's like,
- 58:45oh a loaf. And then at the end, Shannon, it just the
- 58:49scene ends. They're eating the bread. I think, buttering it if I'm
- 58:54not fluttering. She is like, well let me that I don't have I
- 59:00have a bun on my burger, so might as well perfect perfect. Oh
- 59:06god, yeah, And I like that Emily scene. I like that.
- 59:09Emily did co sign with Shannon saying like, I you know, I agree
- 59:17that I don't like that Heather's insinuating all this stuff, you know, meaning
- 59:22like agreeing with Shannon that she's saying, I don't like that, and she
- 59:27apologized she cares about her and now they're in a good place and I and
- 59:30I like that it ended that way. That was good. But what a
- 59:35absolute journey. Oh my gosh. We didn't talk about Emily's event, the
- 59:40twenty twenty two Exonerate gala for the Innocence Project, which was great, really
- 59:45beautiful to see, and we got to see some of the people that were
- 59:52exoneries and heard a little bit of their stories. The double Murder death Row
- 59:58and like finally the murderer can fest and like I just can't even you just
- 1:00:02can't imagine, You just can't imagine. And what a great pause. I
- 1:00:08mean, yes, this is Emily using her skill set. I also felt
- 1:00:15she knew all three eggonneries that we were introduced to. It didn't feel like,
- 1:00:21oh, they're showing up on a data shoot, and like she knew
- 1:00:24them, she knew their stories. There was a level of comfort between them,
- 1:00:28and I was like, oh, this is real, this is she's
- 1:00:30in this program and great, you know, well, Shannon being Jacqueline Hyde
- 1:00:37and having that accusation. It just all she had everyone on the cast co
- 1:00:43signing that she does this. She calls and she drunk dials and then she
- 1:00:46talks stuff and then she doesn't remember and doesn't admit it and doesn't hold it,
- 1:00:52isn't accountable for what she said. So there's definitely some truth to that.
- 1:00:55I mean, that's obvious. So we have an issue there. She's
- 1:01:00got to stop calling people period when. But I wonder if this will lead
- 1:01:06to a little bit of a reality check with her drinking, because you know,
- 1:01:10I mean that that can get scary if you don't know what you're saying
- 1:01:14when you're drinking and you find out later that's that's scary when you're on a
- 1:01:19reality show. Yeah, I think, yeah, some changes need to be
- 1:01:24made here. So well, I mean, and we have to remember Amy
- 1:01:29they're broken up right now. I don't know if that we do need to
- 1:01:32remember that, but I needed to you seem to have it, you know,
- 1:01:36I just will say her and John are done. Yeah, but they're
- 1:01:39together all the time right now, Like he was at trace a migas the
- 1:01:43other night, you know, I mean there is Yeah, they're like and
- 1:01:45she was asked in the the audience member asked, are you and John like
- 1:01:50together, and she said, no, we're just friends, so you know
- 1:01:53whatever that means. They but they coexist all the time together, they have
- 1:01:58a relationship whatever that is. Wow. Wow, did he look happy to
- 1:02:04be there? Yeah? He was really enjoying the show and he's very really
- 1:02:08yes, because I was at the same table, but just long, you
- 1:02:13know, back further back, so I had eyes on him, and oh
- 1:02:15god, you did have eyes. Okay, so you know, interesting.
- 1:02:21I don't know. I'm not in there. I'm not in there, so
- 1:02:23I don't really know. I don't want to saw what you saw. You
- 1:02:27saw what you saw something and you received something and it was positive. M
- 1:02:32m. Okay. Eddie was there too. Taylor was there with her husband,
- 1:02:43and her husband is not on the show, really, I don't think.
- 1:02:45So no, yeah, that you know again a friend of It's a
- 1:02:50little different, right right. Yeah. Well I'm really orienting myself. Okay,
- 1:02:53got it. Well, is there anything else that we need to talk
- 1:02:58about before we left? I mean, oh yeah, yeah, so many.
- 1:03:02I'm just gonna you know, skim my notes and see if there's anything
- 1:03:07important. But I thought it was an amazing I mean when Shanna said I'm
- 1:03:12out stop filming this, I'm out and she left. Several times, I
- 1:03:15thought this taco party is not going to happen. I mean it really did,
- 1:03:19so I was shocked that it ended up happening. That was amazing.
- 1:03:23Yeah. One thing I will say, and this has been rattling around in
- 1:03:30my brain for quite some time, Heather. I go through it with Heather.
- 1:03:38I really do. Now. I think she's having personally a tough season
- 1:03:43because she's on the firing lines. But I think I'm enjoying her more this
- 1:03:45season. I'm finding her just a lot easier to receive than last season,
- 1:03:52where I found her very obnoxious and throwing her money in a way that was
- 1:03:58just outrageous. Okay. What I think I've really come to is Heather has
- 1:04:05been playing the role of a rich woman. Wow. Oh that's I need
- 1:04:14to settle with that. I need to s sy with it for a little
- 1:04:18bit, like this is the this literally sym with it for a little bit
- 1:04:23because I do think that she I do think she's a great mom, and
- 1:04:29I think that's authentic. Okay, but in terms of this way she is,
- 1:04:36pardon me, I just think she's playing a part like in a sitcom
- 1:04:45of what you would do if you were, like, you're very wealthy,
- 1:04:47and she was like, and she does and she does her Meisner and she
- 1:04:54has been for the last however many years playing that role. And I think
- 1:05:00this move over to the Penthouse, even though ironically it's to play roles,
- 1:05:05she will let go of the role a little bit of playing the part of
- 1:05:14a rich person. M wow, I want to say, I mean not
- 1:05:23just really, that's just a lot to take in. So and by default
- 1:05:29she's playing the role of a rich person on a reality show, Like she
- 1:05:31knows that that's her spot. She knows that that's her character. This is
- 1:05:35my character for this show. This is the gig, and I'm going to
- 1:05:39play that character. Yeah, And I imagine she's been playing that that character
- 1:05:45has did not show up for the reality show because I think when she sort
- 1:05:50of like put the acting hat down, she picked up she never put it
- 1:05:57down. She just picked up the character of a rich person. And so
- 1:06:01yeah, that's just that that really settles me with her because it's it's really
- 1:06:08campy at the end of the day. Oh god, I love that.
- 1:06:12Yeah, Okay, Wow, I'm trying to think of another example of another
- 1:06:19housewife that that leans into that like a caricature. And I will and I'm
- 1:06:26gonna say, sonya interesting because I think a lot of it is. Oh
- 1:06:33and Kathy Hilton, because she's so quirky and it's a it's real, but
- 1:06:42it's all so fake. It's also she does Who's honky Dory? Girl?
- 1:06:46Please? You know, like that's not real? But other things, but
- 1:06:50other things are like I need my cheese, seeds and a fan. You
- 1:06:55know that's real, but like Who's honky Dory? Not real? You know,
- 1:07:00Kyle, I thought you were Kyle real? You know, Oh you
- 1:07:08can't. You went out for that whatever? That laughter not real? She
- 1:07:12as seeds, Oh gus seeds, she is seeds real. The hunky Doory
- 1:07:16not real? Uh? The Kyle I thought you were Kyle totally real.
- 1:07:23The video of her falling on the beach, you know, dancing and then
- 1:07:26falling not real. You know, there there are It's like Paris Hilton.
- 1:07:30You know, she has this character. Yes, and when you have a
- 1:07:35character, you it's part of who you are naturally, but you can exaggerate
- 1:07:40it for the great, for you know, for it to really people.
- 1:07:45So I think like what you're saying, and I I, you know,
- 1:07:48I might be coming on board, which is that there are people like a
- 1:07:51Sonya, a Kathy Hilton and Heather du Bro that have these, you know,
- 1:07:57attributes and these characteristics that are so unique and so specific to themselves that
- 1:08:02they have something, they have a gift. So why would you not almost
- 1:08:06exploit that for the greater good of the show and for your for you,
- 1:08:11for a storyline, and for a character, and to make it more entertaining.
- 1:08:15So yeah, I think that's interesting. Yeah, And I think I
- 1:08:18always felt like with with Heather Rich can't be your personality. It's not enough.
- 1:08:25You can't Rich Rich isn't a personality, you know. And when I
- 1:08:31decided that it was actually a role, I'm like, oh, she's overdoing
- 1:08:36her role. This is this is what you would do for a you know,
- 1:08:43you you know WB sitcom. This is how you would approach the role.
- 1:08:47Wow. Yeah, I can't argue with that. Absolutely. Wow.
- 1:08:54Oh my god. Okay, this is exciting. I think this is really
- 1:08:57cool. Like we could do a whole other option podcast about this. Love
