  Speaker 2: It is time for us to go to God in prayer,

  Speaker 2: and as always I ask that you join along with

  Speaker 2: me in prayer. I am Sherry Mackie. You know, yesterday

  Speaker 2: I was crushed. I'm still crushed. I am oftentimes watching
• 0:16
  Speaker 2: the news and watching different stories, and I hear about
• 0:20
  Speaker 2: these young people dying, and I think, oh, my Lord,
• 0:24
  Speaker 2: that's a mother that has to bury a child. That's
• 0:28
  Speaker 2: a father that has to bury a child, or that's
• 0:30
  Speaker 2: a child that has to grow up without a parent.

  Speaker 2: A grandparent having to learn the news that their grandchild
• 0:36
  Speaker 2: is died. That shouldn't be. And y'all, that wasn't the
• 0:39
  Speaker 2: way it was supposed to be. My heart breaks, My

  Speaker 2: heart breaks. And then I learned yesterday of a situation

  Speaker 2: personal to me and close to home, and y'all, I

  Speaker 2: was shattered, absolutely shattered. So I want to pray for

  Speaker 2: those that are grieving today, those that are hurting.

  Speaker 1: Heavenly Father, in the name of Cheese.

  Speaker 2: God, in this time of unimaginable sorrow, Together we collectively
• 1:07
  Speaker 2: lift up those whose hearts are heavy with grief. We pray,

  Speaker 2: especially God for parents or having to bury their child
• 1:17
  Speaker 2: or children, and make funeral plans for their children, for
• 1:21
  Speaker 2: siblings who have lost their brother, their sisters, or for
• 1:25
  Speaker 2: children who are now having to grow up with their
• 1:30
  Speaker 2: precious spirit. Lord, surround them with your love, with your comfort.

  Speaker 2: Let them feel your presence even in the midst of
• 1:40
  Speaker 2: their pain, and know that God, you are near to
• 1:43
  Speaker 2: the broken heart.

  Speaker 1: And grant them strength.

  Speaker 2: God, when their spirits are weak, in peace, God that

  Speaker 2: surpasses all human understanding. In the midst of their chaos

  Speaker 2: and their sorrow, God, bring healing to their hearts and

  Speaker 2: restore their hope and the promise of eternal life. Remind

  Speaker 2: them God that death is not the end, but the

  Speaker 2: beginning of a new chapter of your eternal embrace. I

  Speaker 2: realized God that for a parent who's learned of the
