- 0:02Speaker 1: This is Teddy Teapot. Hi, guys, welcome back to Teddy
- 0:13Speaker 1: Teapot this week. I am so excited I have Shane's
- 0:16Speaker 1: Taylor coming on with me. She's gonna talk to me
- 0:18Speaker 1: about we'll talk to us about her new CBD line,
- 0:21Speaker 1: which I really know nothing about CBD, so I'm super excited.
- 0:24Speaker 1: It's called Bottle and Stone dot us. You can learn
- 0:28Speaker 1: more about it there, and I'm gonna be grilling her
- 0:30Speaker 1: with lots of questions because the one experience I have
- 0:34Speaker 1: with any type of CBD is kind of hilarious, so
- 0:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna talk to her about that as well. Thanks
- 0:38Speaker 1: for joining us, of course, thank you for having me.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I'm really excited to talk to you. Got to get
- 0:44Speaker 1: to meet you obviously, and then uh, I twet you
- 0:46Speaker 1: guys a little bit on CBD. I love it. So
- 0:49Speaker 1: I just have to start with telling you our story
- 0:51Speaker 1: because I was talking to my husband about you coming
- 0:54Speaker 1: on today and I'm like, I need to talk to
- 0:57Speaker 1: her because I don't even know the difference really between
- 0:59Speaker 1: the CBD in the CB and the th HD, Like
- 1:01Speaker 1: I know, but I don't really know because I had
- 1:04Speaker 1: a girlfriend come over right right after they like legalized it,
- 1:08Speaker 1: and she brought like a dosest pen like called calm
- 1:13Speaker 1: or something like that, and I was I'm a paranoid
- 1:16Speaker 1: person in general, so I was like, no, I'm good.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I don't I'm you know whatever. And my husband tried it,
- 1:23Speaker 1: but he liked tried a bunch of it, like because
- 1:27Speaker 1: it had th HC in it, not just not just CBD.
- 1:31Speaker 1: And then he thought he was dying, take me to
- 1:36Speaker 1: the hospital, Take me to the hospital. I'm like, I'm
- 1:38Speaker 1: not taking you to the hospital. You're fine, Get in
- 1:40Speaker 1: the shower, figure out. I'm like, didn't you feel the buzz?
- 1:45Speaker 1: It's supposed to buzz when you stop. And he's like, yeah,
- 1:47Speaker 1: but I did it a couple of times. I'm like, well,
- 1:49Speaker 1: then you're just an idiot. I can't be bothered with
- 1:52Speaker 1: taking you to the hospital. Right now, I'm trying to
- 1:53Speaker 1: watch a TV show. So since then, I haven't like
- 1:59Speaker 1: really tried or learn much more about it, even though
- 2:02Speaker 1: I want to because I really struggle with anxiety. Okay,
- 2:06Speaker 1: so I've heard it as a game changer, but I
- 2:09Speaker 1: don't even know how to start, how to know what's
- 2:11Speaker 1: right for you, how to not think that you're like
- 2:13Speaker 1: dying the hospital. Okay, So so this is the most
- 2:18Speaker 1: the easiest way that I can put it. So th
- 2:20Speaker 1: HC gets you high, which is where so marijuana plant,
- 2:24Speaker 1: there's the hemp plant and the marijuana plant. Yes, CBD
- 2:28Speaker 1: from a marijuana plant, but it's mostly th HC, so
- 2:31Speaker 1: it's it's significantly less CBD into the that specific plant.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Then there's the heap plant, which is has a small
- 2:38Speaker 1: amount of t VHC t HD, but mostly CBD. So
- 2:42Speaker 1: since we're a CBD brand, we use only hemp plants
- 2:45Speaker 1: because you get more CBD obviously from the hemp plant.
- 2:48Speaker 1: So our CBD company has zero point three t HC
- 2:52Speaker 1: and the entire bottle so you can drink it and
- 2:54Speaker 1: it will never make you feel like you're gonna be
- 2:57Speaker 1: high or whatsoever. It's like minimal, minimal amounts. And the
- 3:01Speaker 1: only reason why we keep the minimal amount is because
- 3:03Speaker 1: we're a full spectrum CBD, which means we use the
- 3:06Speaker 1: entire plant, the flower, the stems, everything, so you get
- 3:10Speaker 1: the most benefit from all the turpins and weld terpeins
- 3:14Speaker 1: is for flavor, but all the cannabinoids and different things
- 3:16Speaker 1: that you ingest, so you get the all the stuff
- 3:19Speaker 1: for anxiety, for sleep, for pain, um, and yeah, so
- 3:23Speaker 1: it's that I think that's the hardest thing that people
- 3:26Speaker 1: can't figure out is that, like forever we thought that
- 3:28Speaker 1: this plant that looks like marijuana is just marijuana. Everything
- 3:31Speaker 1: gets you high that's related to it, And so when
- 3:34Speaker 1: CBD came out, everyone's like, well, it doesn't get you high.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I don't know, it's how is it? It looks exactly
- 3:38Speaker 1: the same, and they technically are like sister plants, but
- 3:41Speaker 1: they're just they they grow way higher in CBD for
- 3:45Speaker 1: hemp and then hire a t HC for marijuana plants.
- 3:48Speaker 1: So that's like strictly the difference. So doses pens use
- 3:51Speaker 1: both strands, so they do CBD with THD, So they'll
- 3:56Speaker 1: do like a pen one to one so it's equal parts,
- 3:59Speaker 1: but it's still a lot of THHC. Then they'll do
- 4:01Speaker 1: like four to one, so it's like four times PhD
- 4:04Speaker 1: to one part like part CBD. So it's like their
- 4:07Speaker 1: concept is great because you know you're still getting the
- 4:10Speaker 1: benefits of CBD, but like there's also for people who
- 4:13Speaker 1: love marijuana still gets too high, So it's like it's
- 4:15Speaker 1: basically making marijuana a little bit more beneficial to other
- 4:18Speaker 1: things than just being like strictly one. That makes sense.
- 4:21Speaker 1: That makes it. My husband's actually ease dropping right now.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Do you hear the difference, babe? Like that is you're
- 4:27Speaker 1: not supposed to take multiple if it has th HC.
- 4:34Speaker 1: He said, trying to get enough to relax. Well, yeah,
- 4:36Speaker 1: relaxed at him? Right? So how did you get started
- 4:40Speaker 1: with all of this? So it's a funny story. So
- 4:43Speaker 1: I have my wellness blog. It's called Shanea's Kitchen. So
- 4:46Speaker 1: I was a chef, organic chef, personal chef for a
- 4:50Speaker 1: lot of people, and then I went to like strictly clients.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Then I kind of graduated and didn't want to do
- 4:56Speaker 1: at homework because it takes up your entire life. Um.
- 4:59Speaker 1: And I started p this mainly on the blog, and
- 5:01Speaker 1: so I did philest nutrition and all these things because
- 5:03Speaker 1: I truly believe that you can heal your body through
- 5:06Speaker 1: food and like really taking care of yourself. So I
- 5:09Speaker 1: get so many different questions about health issues and the
- 5:12Speaker 1: natural um thing that they I could recommend to them
- 5:15Speaker 1: to help them, because no one really wants to take
- 5:18Speaker 1: narcotics or prescriptions when you're like trying to live a
- 5:20Speaker 1: healthier lifestyle. And three of the top things that I
- 5:23Speaker 1: would get is you know, pain, arthritis, pain or whatever
- 5:26Speaker 1: it is for muscle joints, all that kind of stuff,
- 5:28Speaker 1: sleep problems, and then anxiety issues. And when CBD started
- 5:32Speaker 1: to get popular, there was so many studies and different
- 5:35Speaker 1: things that were saying that like these were the three
- 5:37Speaker 1: main things that helps the most with and inflammation in
- 5:40Speaker 1: the body, and like all these important things to you know,
- 5:42Speaker 1: feeling and not chronic pain. And for me, I started
- 5:45Speaker 1: using it for myself because I have a really bad
- 5:47Speaker 1: stuliosis and I wrote horrific pensioner that decided to show
- 5:50Speaker 1: up like a year and a half ago. And so
- 5:53Speaker 1: when you live with that chronic pain, you're trying to
- 5:55Speaker 1: find a natural remedy because especially for me, because I
- 5:57Speaker 1: don't try to take advil, I don't take any of
- 5:59Speaker 1: those things, and so CBD really really helped, really helped me.
- 6:03Speaker 1: But the issue that I was having was finding good
- 6:07Speaker 1: quality CBD that I could recommend use for myself and
- 6:10Speaker 1: recommend other people, because if you start digging into different companies,
- 6:14Speaker 1: they don't know where their hemp is coming from. They're
- 6:16Speaker 1: using a manufacturer that three other companies are using. They're
- 6:19Speaker 1: only really jumping on the bandwagon because it's a it's
- 6:21Speaker 1: a way to make a quick dollar instead of like
- 6:24Speaker 1: genuinely wanting to help the community and give them a
- 6:27Speaker 1: good quality product. So after doing so much searching and
- 6:30Speaker 1: I just couldn't find one that I liked, I just
- 6:33Speaker 1: was like, f and I'm just going to start my
- 6:35Speaker 1: own because I want to use it. I want to
- 6:37Speaker 1: be able to recommend it to all my followers that
- 6:39Speaker 1: need help, all these health benefits and things that they
- 6:41Speaker 1: don't want to take our contexts like live healthier lifestyle.
- 6:44Speaker 1: And so I adobe into trying to find a CBD
- 6:48Speaker 1: like manufacturer. I talked to probably six manufacturers. Not one
- 6:53Speaker 1: of them could even tell me that they went to
- 6:56Speaker 1: where they get their hemp, like grow their hemp and
- 6:58Speaker 1: where they buy it from once not anybody, so the
- 7:01Speaker 1: zero quality control. There was no one could give me
- 7:05Speaker 1: an answer. I'm like, well, how do you know if
- 7:06Speaker 1: it's good quality? Like have you ever been there? Like
- 7:09Speaker 1: nobody could give me any answers. And I'm like, well,
- 7:11Speaker 1: how am I going to sell a product and say
- 7:13Speaker 1: that it's trustworthy if you can't give me an answer
- 7:15Speaker 1: if it's actually trustworthy or not. Oh we just know. No,
- 7:18Speaker 1: you don't just know. You have to physically see it,
- 7:19Speaker 1: like anyone could lie to you in a world of
- 7:22Speaker 1: like wild wild West, whether it's like not that many
- 7:24Speaker 1: regulations yet, So long story short, I ended up just
- 7:27Speaker 1: being like, I don't know how I'm gonna find this,
- 7:29Speaker 1: but I just need my own farm because that's the
- 7:32Speaker 1: only way that I'm gonna understand, like, this is where
- 7:35Speaker 1: the plants are coming from, this is how they're grown,
- 7:37Speaker 1: this is how they're taken care of, and then be
- 7:39Speaker 1: able to actually promise somebody that like, Okay, I know
- 7:42Speaker 1: head to toe that this is good, and I know
- 7:44Speaker 1: it's like a scary new thing that people are like, well,
- 7:46Speaker 1: I don't know. It's weird that I could give them
- 7:48Speaker 1: that they could trust. So I don't know how manifestation
- 7:53Speaker 1: and its finest. I found these two farmers that were
- 7:57Speaker 1: farming um hemp and we became partners and they are
- 8:01Speaker 1: based in Vermont and they're incredible and I love them
- 8:04Speaker 1: and we're on the same everything. They're certified organic, we're
- 8:06Speaker 1: turning it into biodynamic UM. They care so much for
- 8:09Speaker 1: their their plants. They have like a woman full time
- 8:13Speaker 1: that sits and talks to the plants all day and like,
- 8:15Speaker 1: you know, a total hippie, but I just love it
- 8:17Speaker 1: so much. I'm like this is what like, this is
- 8:19Speaker 1: how it should be. It's a sacred plan essentially that's
- 8:22Speaker 1: changing so many people's lives for a natural way. Um.
- 8:26Speaker 1: And so Bottle and Stone came about. I It took forever,
- 8:31Speaker 1: but we found all we needed was a good quality hemp,
- 8:34Speaker 1: and it was so hard to find. So it was
- 8:36Speaker 1: like eureka when I finally found and became partners with
- 8:39Speaker 1: these farmers and now you know where it's. Yeah. So
- 8:43Speaker 1: that's Bottle and Stone. And the first the line that
- 8:46Speaker 1: we decided to come out with was tinctures since that's
- 8:49Speaker 1: the most like known thing in the hemp world that
- 8:51Speaker 1: people were taking for health benefits. So it's a simple
- 8:54Speaker 1: dropper that you put under your tongue, you sit for
- 8:55Speaker 1: thirty minutes and you swallow it and that's so you
- 8:57Speaker 1: get it ingested. So it's good for pain, sleep, for anxiety,
- 9:01Speaker 1: especially like anxiety. You would have to take it as
- 9:03Speaker 1: an adjustable instead of a topical for like if you
- 9:05Speaker 1: were looking for pain in a specific area, and if
- 9:08Speaker 1: once you take it is do you have to repeatedly
- 9:11Speaker 1: take it or could you take it one day and
- 9:13Speaker 1: then you have a break, or you can take like
- 9:15Speaker 1: I take it like sometimes I take it for two
- 9:18Speaker 1: weeks straight. Sometimes I won't take it for three days.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Sometimes I'll say it doesn't there's not really the right
- 9:24Speaker 1: thing to do it. Like, for instance, for you, if
- 9:25Speaker 1: you wanted to take it for anxiety, whenever you started
- 9:28Speaker 1: to feel like that anxiousness, you would take a dropper
- 9:31Speaker 1: or take two droppers, whatever you felt like worked for you,
- 9:33Speaker 1: and then you would take it kind of as needed.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Or if you were, you know, taking it for sleep,
- 9:37Speaker 1: for instance, you would take it twenty minutes before bed
- 9:39Speaker 1: every night if you had sleep problems. I mean, obviously
- 9:42Speaker 1: the more consistent you take it, the better it is
- 9:44Speaker 1: to help you get on that like regimented cycle. Um,
- 9:47Speaker 1: but there's not like it's not one of like it's
- 9:49Speaker 1: not like a prescription where you'd be like taking twice
- 9:51Speaker 1: a day, you know whatever. It's just kind of you
- 9:53Speaker 1: can totally take it as a health lifestyle and take
- 9:55Speaker 1: one in the morning, one at night, or one in
- 9:57Speaker 1: the morning afternoon at night. There's no real like wrong,
- 10:01Speaker 1: to be honest, and like I travel with mine, so
- 10:04Speaker 1: you know, obviously to different time zones is tough sometimes
- 10:06Speaker 1: when you like I can't get on the new time
- 10:09Speaker 1: zone that you try to sleep in. I'll always take
- 10:11Speaker 1: CBD traveling with me because it helps a lot get
- 10:13Speaker 1: to sleep on those in those times. And then what
- 10:17Speaker 1: how long does it take to actually start working? So
- 10:19Speaker 1: let's say I do I feel like today? I feel
- 10:21Speaker 1: anxious because the show always airs, you know, on Wednesday,
- 10:24Speaker 1: so I'm just a little bit more grabbed up on
- 10:27Speaker 1: those days. Um so like running helps me, but it
- 10:30Speaker 1: still doesn't fully like take the edge off. How long
- 10:33Speaker 1: would it take to kind of kick in? And do
- 10:35Speaker 1: you feel like a noticeable difference or is it just
- 10:37Speaker 1: you just realized, wow, I'm just a little less anxious,
- 10:40Speaker 1: Like how so, how I like to explain it is
- 10:42Speaker 1: like like ad bill, when you take advill and you
- 10:46Speaker 1: have pain, you notice that the pain goes away, But
- 10:48Speaker 1: if you were to take ad VO and you didn't
- 10:50Speaker 1: have pain, you wouldn't really notice if it made a difference.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Right's kind of the same way if you take CBD
- 10:55Speaker 1: and you don't have pain, you won't really know a difference.
- 10:57Speaker 1: But like you know, nothing changes of your body is
- 11:00Speaker 1: not like you tooose something and you're like, WHOA, I
- 11:01Speaker 1: feel different. It's if you have anxiety and you feel
- 11:04Speaker 1: that edge. The whole trick is when you put it
- 11:06Speaker 1: under your tongue and you hold it on your left side,
- 11:09Speaker 1: it goes straight into that that blood stream and that
- 11:12Speaker 1: there's like a whatever you call it that basically absorbs
- 11:15Speaker 1: into it quicker, so that it happens within like ten
- 11:18Speaker 1: twenty minutes. So that's kind of kind of the trick.
- 11:20Speaker 1: So it's the same as like if you were to
- 11:22Speaker 1: take a you know, quick gel absorbed capsule, it takes
- 11:25Speaker 1: about twenty minutes to get into your blood stream and
- 11:27Speaker 1: then starting to pump through your blood. Right, So the
- 11:29Speaker 1: trick is under the tongue, it happens a bit quicker,
- 11:32Speaker 1: and so it's it's a more beneficial way of taking it.
- 11:34Speaker 1: So it would be like ten twenty minutes maximum before
- 11:37Speaker 1: you would start to feel a difference. And what's funny
- 11:40Speaker 1: if you won't, it's not like you would all of
- 11:41Speaker 1: a sudden be like, oh, whoa, I felt that. You
- 11:43Speaker 1: just will forget that you had that like anxiety feeling,
- 11:47Speaker 1: and then you would remember that you kind of had
- 11:49Speaker 1: that and then you'd be like, oh, whoa, it did help,
- 11:50Speaker 1: that's so great, and does it have a specific taste
- 11:54Speaker 1: or smell. So we did three different kinds. We did
- 11:58Speaker 1: a natural so it's it's it's not some natural hemp
- 12:02Speaker 1: companies they taste horrific. Urs actually taste pretty good. We
- 12:06Speaker 1: did a CEO two extraction which which helps with the
- 12:08Speaker 1: flavor a lot um, so we have a natural flavor.
- 12:11Speaker 1: We have a mint spray, so I'm not a gum cuer.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I think that it makes you look like a cow
- 12:16Speaker 1: and like a business sense, so it's like cute when
- 12:18Speaker 1: you're like I'm glad I just put mine out, would
- 12:22Speaker 1: be like, hey you should try or mid spray um.
- 12:26Speaker 1: So we have a min spray that's like super strong.
- 12:28Speaker 1: So if you were in a meeting or you just
- 12:29Speaker 1: like we're about to go in to talk to somebody,
- 12:31Speaker 1: you know, you do a couple of sprays under your
- 12:33Speaker 1: tongue and it's refreshing in your mouth, so you don't
- 12:36Speaker 1: even really taste the hep. It's just basically mint and
- 12:38Speaker 1: it's a sweetened with the Monk group, which is obviously
- 12:41Speaker 1: like a very healthy, non sugar sweetener. And then we
- 12:45Speaker 1: have cinnamon flavor, which is my personal flavorite, like favorite blond,
- 12:48Speaker 1: which is um, I love cinnamon flavor. And it's just
- 12:50Speaker 1: kind of like a as if you ate a cinnamon
- 12:53Speaker 1: in something. And it's something that you said that kind
- 12:57Speaker 1: of just triggered me when you said, you know when
- 12:59Speaker 1: you go to talk to some betty, do you notice
- 13:01Speaker 1: like it helps with you know, if you have to
- 13:04Speaker 1: go up and give a speech, or if you have
- 13:07Speaker 1: an important meeting or any of those types. I've heard
- 13:09Speaker 1: it helps almost with like an a d V type
- 13:11Speaker 1: of thing as well too. Is that true? Yes? So
- 13:14Speaker 1: for me, um, you know, I started speaking on panels
- 13:18Speaker 1: and stuff now, um, for like wellness and whatever and
- 13:21Speaker 1: like at the CV big conventions, and I have like
- 13:24Speaker 1: I had the worst stage right as a kid. You
- 13:26Speaker 1: could not you could not get me on a stage
- 13:29Speaker 1: to do anything. I was frightened. And so now as
- 13:31Speaker 1: an it's all obviously it's a little bit better than
- 13:33Speaker 1: more confident you've becoming yourself and information obviously that you're
- 13:36Speaker 1: telling people. But I still get so nervous, so so
- 13:39Speaker 1: so nervous and same. I used to model as well,
- 13:41Speaker 1: and like I just recently last summer I walked on
- 13:44Speaker 1: a runway in New York, and I was so nervous
- 13:46Speaker 1: because I hadn't modeled in years, so I was like
- 13:51Speaker 1: features and it helped so much. It just like takes
- 13:55Speaker 1: that whole, like when you start sweating and you're like,
- 13:58Speaker 1: you know, like all that anxiety feeling, just it literally
- 14:01Speaker 1: it cuts it probably sevent not more, depending on how
- 14:05Speaker 1: obviously extreme it is. But U it's good. That's really
- 14:09Speaker 1: good to know because like sometimes if there's you know,
- 14:12Speaker 1: like if I do a night show or whatever and
- 14:14Speaker 1: they're like, do you want to drink? The problem is
- 14:16Speaker 1: sometimes if you have like a glass of wine, then
- 14:18Speaker 1: you're not as on point. You lose your train of thought.
- 14:21Speaker 1: And so I get nervous when I do like nighttime
- 14:23Speaker 1: Press and I were to have a drink, because then
- 14:25Speaker 1: I'm like, I may be like loopy. So it never
- 14:28Speaker 1: gives you any of that. Never I've never had it,
- 14:32Speaker 1: and I've taken like I take a significant like we
- 14:34Speaker 1: sell three milligram six hundred milligram and then min sprays
- 14:38Speaker 1: to fifty because we wanted to do it a little
- 14:39Speaker 1: bit lower, so it's actually only six milligrams per six
- 14:42Speaker 1: sprays um. So it's I didn't want to put too much.
- 14:47Speaker 1: So if you felt like you wanted to spray mid
- 14:49Speaker 1: spray in your mouth like a hundred times a day,
- 14:50Speaker 1: you didn't feel like you were overdoing it. But like
- 14:53Speaker 1: for me, I even take like we'll we'll put out
- 14:55Speaker 1: eventually a higher milligram above six hundred, and because I've
- 15:00Speaker 1: taking it for so many years, I take that milligram
- 15:03Speaker 1: now because and sometimes like I'll be I'll take some
- 15:06Speaker 1: like when I'm going there because I'm nervous about going there,
- 15:08Speaker 1: and I'll take one when I get there, and then
- 15:10Speaker 1: I'll be like, Okay, that's cool, you're like meeting people,
- 15:12Speaker 1: and then before I go on, just to make sure,
- 15:14Speaker 1: I'll take one more T shirt. And then it's like
- 15:16Speaker 1: I'll literally sit there and have the zero issue. I mean,
- 15:18Speaker 1: of course, anytime you're about to start something, you always
- 15:21Speaker 1: have that like initial like it just needs to start,
- 15:24Speaker 1: and then I'm okay, yeah, it's like you're there and
- 15:26Speaker 1: it starts. Then it's like smooth sailing. I never lose
- 15:29Speaker 1: train of thought. It's never like I'm I'm like trying
- 15:31Speaker 1: to pick up my words or like i feel like I'm,
- 15:34Speaker 1: you know, in a space where i'm not quick, because
- 15:36Speaker 1: the last thing you want when you're doing a speech
- 15:38Speaker 1: or talking to somebody or on television is to not
- 15:41Speaker 1: be able to pull up you're talking about. You'd be
- 15:44Speaker 1: like put too much to CBD. And what would you
- 15:49Speaker 1: say to somebody who's kind of nervous to take it?
- 15:51Speaker 1: Or I've never tried it, Like what's the best way
- 15:53Speaker 1: to start? So we recommend that you just start with
- 15:57Speaker 1: a lower milligram um. You can do the two fifty,
- 16:02Speaker 1: or you can try there. You can do both and
- 16:04Speaker 1: kind of, you know, see how it goes. We just
- 16:06Speaker 1: always recommend starting smaller and just kind of feeling it
- 16:09Speaker 1: out for yourself. And if you feel like you're like,
- 16:11Speaker 1: oh well I kind of, you know, felt a difference,
- 16:13Speaker 1: but I think I could take a little bit more um,
- 16:15Speaker 1: then we recommend doing six hundred. Some people. I mean,
- 16:18Speaker 1: I I'm not obviously, I'm not like a doctor, so
- 16:20Speaker 1: I can't really like say this is what's perfect for you,
- 16:23Speaker 1: but I recommend like someone like me, as chronic pain,
- 16:26Speaker 1: I just skipped and went up to the six hundred
- 16:28Speaker 1: milligram because chronic pain is obviously a little bit more extreme,
- 16:31Speaker 1: or like someone like you who has like you know
- 16:33Speaker 1: real anxiety. I would just recommend starting with six hundred,
- 16:37Speaker 1: and you can always start with half a dropper and
- 16:39Speaker 1: you know, move up from there, um and then you
- 16:42Speaker 1: just kind of like feel it out. So I have
- 16:44Speaker 1: a question. So like for me, I have you know,
- 16:46Speaker 1: I said I had anxiety, but sometimes what happens is
- 16:49Speaker 1: when my anxiety is really bad, I start to get
- 16:51Speaker 1: neck pain. But it's like I don't actually have an injury.
- 16:56Speaker 1: It's just like it feels almost like a pensioner. So
- 16:59Speaker 1: would you recommend get tink share for that or like
- 17:02Speaker 1: a or a lotion or a rub both. So tink
- 17:06Speaker 1: shure for sure, because that helps anxiety and then it
- 17:08Speaker 1: does help with information in the body, so it will
- 17:10Speaker 1: help relieve some of that. Like I do the same thing.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I have the most stress in my neck because I
- 17:14Speaker 1: hold all my stress here. Yeah, this and you don't
- 17:18Speaker 1: realize it. It's just like a tick that your body
- 17:20Speaker 1: has when your stress, you just start to like hold
- 17:22Speaker 1: your muscles like a robot. Um. But I do recommend,
- 17:25Speaker 1: like creams are amazing. We don't have a cream yet,
- 17:28Speaker 1: but we'll be releasing the cream hopefully in the summertime. Um,
- 17:31Speaker 1: so it'll be a thousand milligram uh topical bomb, which
- 17:35Speaker 1: it will be all for like targeted areas, and I
- 17:38Speaker 1: honestly I do in the future. We don't have a
- 17:41Speaker 1: plan right now. I want to make just like a
- 17:42Speaker 1: huge tub of it, because rubbing CBD all over your
- 17:45Speaker 1: body and then you like go to bed is like
- 17:48Speaker 1: it's like you're I don't even know how to explain it.
- 17:50Speaker 1: You're just like, my body feels great. I have I
- 17:53Speaker 1: have gone to a spot. They have one in Beverly Hills.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I think it's a pellicure or something, and you go
- 17:58Speaker 1: and they put you in like uh like it's like
- 18:01Speaker 1: a scrub or something like a CBB scrub, and then
- 18:04Speaker 1: you take a bat and I my body felt amazing.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Apple things so nice, and especially if you're super active,
- 18:13Speaker 1: like I'm I do a lot of running. I'm super active,
- 18:15Speaker 1: and I don't I'm not the world's best at like
- 18:18Speaker 1: taking the time to stretch properly all the time. Um,
- 18:22Speaker 1: but does it show up in any sort of like
- 18:25Speaker 1: drug test or anything like that. So this is a
- 18:28Speaker 1: tricky question. We actually were just talking about this the
- 18:30Speaker 1: other day. So technically, so if it's a cheap, if
- 18:34Speaker 1: it's a cheap drug test, like the cheapest whatever that
- 18:37Speaker 1: like college kids have to take or something. Technically, it
- 18:40Speaker 1: would because it doesn't know the difference between a cannabinoid
- 18:43Speaker 1: and a THHC. So even if you were to have
- 18:45Speaker 1: like it just unfortunately, yes it might. There's a possibility
- 18:49Speaker 1: which test positive for an extensive like for medical industry
- 18:53Speaker 1: people who like take a proper drug test, it would
- 18:57Speaker 1: show the difference of what it is. So it's like
- 19:00Speaker 1: it would show up, but it would show up as
- 19:01Speaker 1: a canabinoid instead of a instead of like marijuana. That
- 19:05Speaker 1: makes sense. Yeah, yeah, So for you when it comes
- 19:18Speaker 1: to any sort of of of your chronic pain or
- 19:21Speaker 1: anxiety or any of those types of things, what are
- 19:23Speaker 1: some other tools that you use in addition to the CBD.
- 19:28Speaker 1: It's a really great question. So breathing exercises are by
- 19:34Speaker 1: far the best, uh secondary to CBD. Um. I actually
- 19:38Speaker 1: just did this video on my Instagram that I learned
- 19:41Speaker 1: in India of a breathing technique that calls like calms
- 19:44Speaker 1: your entire nervous system. And it's literally this technique where
- 19:47Speaker 1: you put your index finger or your bring finger on
- 19:50Speaker 1: your nose and then your thumb on your other nostrils.
- 19:53Speaker 1: So it's like here and here with your fingertips on
- 19:56Speaker 1: your forehead and you breathe. If you close your eyes
- 19:59Speaker 1: and you breathe in through one nostril, close that nostril,
- 20:02Speaker 1: breathe out to the other nostril, Breathe in through that
- 20:05Speaker 1: same one, close it, breathe out. You can do it
- 20:07Speaker 1: anywhere and all you need is one hand, and you
- 20:10Speaker 1: do it for like, as long as you want to
- 20:11Speaker 1: do fifteen breasts, thirty breasts, as long as you feel
- 20:14Speaker 1: it's insane. How it will relax you. It's like you're in.
- 20:18Speaker 1: You feel like you just you don't know what you
- 20:20Speaker 1: just did. You're just like, WHOA, I think I just
- 20:23Speaker 1: saw Giselle posted this. He did post that, okay, because
- 20:26Speaker 1: I was like looking at that, like I need to
- 20:28Speaker 1: try that. But I'm like such a that person that
- 20:30Speaker 1: I'm like I need to try it, and then I
- 20:32Speaker 1: forget and then now you said it, and I'm like, oh, wow,
- 20:34Speaker 1: we did post that. That's right, Yeah, she just it's
- 20:37Speaker 1: in India, they teach you. Because I went to this
- 20:39Speaker 1: um this hotel called a Nanda and Rieshie Cash and
- 20:42Speaker 1: it's like a yoga. It got famous missus Oprah with
- 20:45Speaker 1: her um. But I was when I wanted to do
- 20:47Speaker 1: for my birthday last year. So I went for my
- 20:49Speaker 1: birthday by myself and tried to learn how to do
- 20:52Speaker 1: do meditations because I had a really hard time meditating.
- 20:54Speaker 1: It's like I have like being an entrepreneur. I'm sure
- 20:57Speaker 1: as you know this, you just as soon as you
- 20:59Speaker 1: sit to take a second, you just think about everything
- 21:02Speaker 1: else that you could be doing, the sides sitting for
- 21:04Speaker 1: a second, and so that's such a hard time being
- 21:06Speaker 1: like I just want to meditate to calm my mind.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I'm such a like calm person, but I just feel
- 21:10Speaker 1: like it's almost like I felt guilty for sitting. So
- 21:14Speaker 1: in India they teach you just these simple things that
- 21:17Speaker 1: really help. And for instance, like this breathing exercise, you
- 21:21Speaker 1: don't think about anything else because all you're thinking about
- 21:23Speaker 1: is making sure you do the breathing technique. You know, now, well,
- 21:26Speaker 1: do you do it every day? Um? Not every day?
- 21:29Speaker 1: I should do it every day, but like they say,
- 21:30Speaker 1: it's really good to do it first thing in the morning,
- 21:33Speaker 1: like when you you know, you stretched for whatever five minutes,
- 21:36Speaker 1: like I try to do. Someone is stretching in the
- 21:37Speaker 1: morning because my otherwise my pension nerve is like killing
- 21:40Speaker 1: me my mid day. Um, and then before bed, like
- 21:43Speaker 1: you could literally sit up in bed and just like
- 21:45Speaker 1: for five minutes sit there and do it, and it's
- 21:47Speaker 1: incredible how much it's just like your entire nervous system
- 21:51Speaker 1: calms down. I may need you to like send me
- 21:53Speaker 1: a tutorial and I'll post it for people that watch
- 21:56Speaker 1: Teddy t pod so that they know what to do.
- 21:58Speaker 1: And honestly, I need like a step by step I am.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Even with my son. I go on the Headspace app,
- 22:04Speaker 1: which is like a meditation app, and it looks so
- 22:08Speaker 1: chill and relaxed, and he's like taking it all in,
- 22:11Speaker 1: and I'm sitting there like a ball of nerves. I
- 22:14Speaker 1: haven't been able to use any of the apps either.
- 22:17Speaker 1: I don't know. I just like can't. I'm the same,
- 22:19Speaker 1: I think, because I'm such a doer, Like I don't
- 22:21Speaker 1: sit at home either, like everyone's I literally don't. It's horrible.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I'm like I need to sit down with my legs
- 22:28Speaker 1: up the wall because I've been standing all that. I'm
- 22:31Speaker 1: not cooking, I'm cleaning, if I'm not doing laundry, I'm
- 22:34Speaker 1: like organizing something that I'm like getting into the pantry
- 22:36Speaker 1: cabinets and I'm like, what are you doing? Just sit down?
- 22:39Speaker 1: Like I know, I think that's all. What So what
- 22:41Speaker 1: is your quarantine set up right now? Like? What talk
- 22:45Speaker 1: to that quarantine set up? Like routine? Yah, so my routine.
- 22:52Speaker 1: So I used to I used to work out like
- 22:54Speaker 1: five days a week. I've now gotten probably I get
- 22:56Speaker 1: like three four ish now. Um, just because it's it's
- 23:00Speaker 1: just hard to get motivated sometimes if I don't get it.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Like before, it was in my schedule every single day
- 23:04Speaker 1: in the morning because if I didn't get it done
- 23:06Speaker 1: in the morning, it wouldn't happen. And now that I
- 23:08Speaker 1: don't have that in my schedule because I'm not going
- 23:10Speaker 1: to the gym, I'm like, you know, I get it
- 23:14Speaker 1: done that times, but I typically wake up. Um, I
- 23:18Speaker 1: take I do lemon water in the morning, which is
- 23:20Speaker 1: really good for detoxing. I take my greens every morning,
- 23:23Speaker 1: which is really good for keeping the body alkaline, which
- 23:25Speaker 1: is really important to do when you're in a time
- 23:28Speaker 1: like this where like immune system is so important to
- 23:30Speaker 1: keep it like at its highest level. Um, do you
- 23:33Speaker 1: recommend these? These are the best by far? They're called
- 23:37Speaker 1: alcal Mines. The websites called get off your Asset dot
- 23:41Speaker 1: com get off your Genius. This doctor, his name is
- 23:45Speaker 1: Dr Draffrey. He's one of the sweetest people on the planet.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I know him from New York. I'm trying to get
- 23:50Speaker 1: him to mortually and he's like cares so much and
- 23:55Speaker 1: he actually the reason why he came up with this
- 23:57Speaker 1: is from his personal experience. He's a he was a
- 23:59Speaker 1: chiropractic and then he turned into an attritionist because his
- 24:02Speaker 1: dad ended up getting diagnosed with cancer and it had
- 24:05Speaker 1: four months to live, and so he became obsessed with
- 24:08Speaker 1: all these things that he had learned to keep his
- 24:11Speaker 1: dad his body alkaline, looking at his blood every day
- 24:13Speaker 1: on a thing like having him take all these minerals.
- 24:15Speaker 1: And his dad lived four years longer. And so he
- 24:19Speaker 1: took all that he you know, applied from this experience
- 24:23Speaker 1: and now he's on all these board for cancer and
- 24:25Speaker 1: stuff and now sells these products. And it changed my life.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Like he I went to him for my back pain obviously,
- 24:32Speaker 1: and then I was having really bad stomach and she's
- 24:34Speaker 1: like leaky gut problems, like horrific leaky gut and it
- 24:38Speaker 1: was causing like bad stick acne, and I couldn't figure
- 24:41Speaker 1: out what was causing it, and I was like, I'm
- 24:42Speaker 1: so healthy, what the f it's going on? And so
- 24:45Speaker 1: it was all stemming from my gut. It was all
- 24:47Speaker 1: from leaky gut. So and it was from eating bad
- 24:50Speaker 1: as a kid. And then you know as a chef,
- 24:51Speaker 1: like I eat really healthy, but there's still times I
- 24:53Speaker 1: like to cheat and eat meals on you know, at restaurants,
- 24:55Speaker 1: and like I'm a human being, you know, no one's perfect.
- 24:57Speaker 1: And so he taught me and got me on this
- 25:00Speaker 1: leady got the leaky got protocol on these greens, on
- 25:02Speaker 1: these minerals, and like I used to eat an apple
- 25:05Speaker 1: and my stomach would be like not cute. And ever
- 25:09Speaker 1: since I've been taking these also couldn't go to the
- 25:11Speaker 1: bathroom regularly. Like I was lucky if I went every day,
- 25:14Speaker 1: it was not like it was. I hated it. And
- 25:17Speaker 1: ever since I've been taking these greens, and obviously a
- 25:19Speaker 1: pre and probiotic is really important to the blend of both,
- 25:22Speaker 1: not just one. Um it changed everything, Like I have
- 25:26Speaker 1: so much more energy, my brain fog isn't as bad.
- 25:28Speaker 1: I actually go to the restroom and then I don't
- 25:30Speaker 1: get loaded in two seconds if I eat something well
- 25:34Speaker 1: that you've convinced me to try, and I like, I
- 25:39Speaker 1: I love this is why I like love what I
- 25:41Speaker 1: do because I it helped, Like, I struggle so much
- 25:44Speaker 1: and I'm my own like on my own guinea pig. Essentially,
- 25:47Speaker 1: like everything that I learned is because I've had so
- 25:49Speaker 1: many health issues and problems in acne and scoliosis in
- 25:52Speaker 1: this that like, I've been trialing and air for so
- 25:54Speaker 1: long to try to figure out what helps me, and
- 25:56Speaker 1: so like gets so excited when I like find out
- 25:58Speaker 1: something that helped me because it might help you know,
- 26:01Speaker 1: one to a hundred of thousand people, um that are
- 26:04Speaker 1: like me, because everyone has their their health issues, you know.
- 26:07Speaker 1: And I think it's so important that you're your own
- 26:10Speaker 1: advocate and figuring out what works for you because I,
- 26:13Speaker 1: you know, so oftentimes everyone's telling you what to do
- 26:16Speaker 1: and you're not actually figuring out what makes you feel better.
- 26:19Speaker 1: And that for me, I struggled with for a lot
- 26:22Speaker 1: of years. I'd be like, well, this is what works
- 26:23Speaker 1: for so and so, and but I'm not actually doing
- 26:27Speaker 1: the research or I'm not actually trying the things and
- 26:29Speaker 1: listening to my body. So, I mean, I think that's
- 26:32Speaker 1: you know, A big question that I get is like
- 26:34Speaker 1: what do you do to feel your best? And for me,
- 26:37Speaker 1: it's like I really started listening to my body so
- 26:41Speaker 1: important because it feels like no better advice than like
- 26:44Speaker 1: literally just being in tune with yourself. And if you
- 26:47Speaker 1: eat something and your stomach feels off, write it down.
- 26:50Speaker 1: You probably have an analogy to it or an intolerance
- 26:53Speaker 1: to it. If you you know, if you eat something
- 26:55Speaker 1: and you feel great and you feel like you digested it,
- 26:57Speaker 1: write it down. Remember it's trial and air. You know,
- 26:59Speaker 1: you have to go all these best doctors and get
- 27:01Speaker 1: all these best tests to know your body is gonna
- 27:04Speaker 1: tell you what it needs and when it you know
- 27:05Speaker 1: when it doesn't. And that's I mean, it's like one
- 27:07Speaker 1: of the best advices I taught one too, is like
- 27:10Speaker 1: just learn how to be into yeah, and then and
- 27:12Speaker 1: then you end up knowing so much more about yourself.
- 27:16Speaker 1: You end up feeling better, and then you're able to
- 27:18Speaker 1: accomplish so much more because we're not our primary focus.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Isn't I feel so bloated or I feel discussed? Like
- 27:24Speaker 1: for me, it's like I know I have anxiety. I
- 27:26Speaker 1: know that going for a run or a walk outside
- 27:28Speaker 1: or whatever it may be, is going to make that
- 27:30Speaker 1: feel better instead of thinking, well, I wonder what will
- 27:34Speaker 1: make me feel better and getting stuck in that whole
- 27:36Speaker 1: of just like I can't get out of this. Since
- 27:48Speaker 1: you are a chef, for anybody listening, what would you
- 27:52Speaker 1: say is like one or two of your quick, easy
- 27:55Speaker 1: meals that they could make at home right now for
- 27:58Speaker 1: them for their family or themselves. Like what are your
- 28:01Speaker 1: go to? That's such a great question because it kind
- 28:04Speaker 1: of depends on the family, like who you're cooking with,
- 28:06Speaker 1: because there's just so many different circumstances, Like I know,
- 28:08Speaker 1: I used to cook for kids, and that's a whole
- 28:09Speaker 1: other situation in itself. Um so my go to which
- 28:15Speaker 1: sounds so basic because I feel like everyone says this,
- 28:18Speaker 1: but like soups and salads, even though they're like seemed
- 28:21Speaker 1: like the most basic things to make, you can do
- 28:24Speaker 1: so many different versions and they can be so good
- 28:28Speaker 1: as long as you have herbs and spices, and like there's,
- 28:32Speaker 1: like I was explaining yesterday when I did this I
- 28:35Speaker 1: g t V, like I've been doing just finally, salads
- 28:38Speaker 1: because I just love them when they're like super chopped,
- 28:40Speaker 1: and I've been doing colored green kale, spinach, swiss charred.
- 28:44Speaker 1: I've been using all of the greens. I haven't just
- 28:46Speaker 1: been using kale. I haven't just been using spinach. I've
- 28:48Speaker 1: been like mixing everything up that I like put hit
- 28:51Speaker 1: him on a salad the other day through in some
- 28:53Speaker 1: toasted nuts, and then I did some different dressing where
- 28:56Speaker 1: I did like kind of a Turkish style, so I
- 28:58Speaker 1: did i'm in olive oil, kind of the basics, and
- 29:00Speaker 1: then I did all spice and like cinnamon and did
- 29:03Speaker 1: like some different spices in there, and it was like
- 29:05Speaker 1: one of the best salads I've ever made. And I
- 29:07Speaker 1: was like, you would not think that that would taste good,
- 29:09Speaker 1: but it was incredible. Like all my girlfriends were like,
- 29:11Speaker 1: this is what however had? And you just put Like
- 29:15Speaker 1: I mean, putting tarragon, basil, and dil in a salad
- 29:19Speaker 1: is like my three favorite herbs to use, and it
- 29:21Speaker 1: just makes it so flavorful. And also to like saute
- 29:25Speaker 1: kale for two seconds before you put in your salad
- 29:28Speaker 1: is a game changer for digestion too, and like it's
- 29:31Speaker 1: just taste so much better as well, tastes so much
- 29:34Speaker 1: no one likes chunky pieces of large kale that you
- 29:37Speaker 1: can't eat. Just my process. And it's so interesting that
- 29:41Speaker 1: you said soup, because I soup like four or five
- 29:44Speaker 1: nights a week. Love it. I love it. I you know,
- 29:47Speaker 1: for me, my lightest meal of the day is always dinner,
- 29:50Speaker 1: and I sleep better. And there are so many delicious soups,
- 29:54Speaker 1: and it's so easy to find recipes that can last
- 29:56Speaker 1: you the week, and you're able to do a soup
- 30:00Speaker 1: and something additional for your kids and then they're happy totally.
- 30:04Speaker 1: And you can freeze soup. You can make a huge
- 30:05Speaker 1: batch and freeze it. And then another tip that I've
- 30:08Speaker 1: been doing, which which changes soups totally, is when you know,
- 30:11Speaker 1: we feel like we've all been buying more vegetables than
- 30:14Speaker 1: we typically would because we know we don't have to
- 30:15Speaker 1: go to a grocery store every three days. And when
- 30:18Speaker 1: if you don't get around to it, it starts to
- 30:19Speaker 1: will throw it in a big pot, you know, put
- 30:22Speaker 1: a bunch of water in there and let it simmer
- 30:24Speaker 1: all day, and then you have this amazing broth that
- 30:27Speaker 1: you could use for your soups. And like again, it
- 30:29Speaker 1: could be frozen so you can make a huge batch,
- 30:30Speaker 1: use it for the next you know, four or five days.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Whatever you don't use, you to the top of the freezer,
- 30:35Speaker 1: top of the freezer, and then use it again later.
- 30:37Speaker 1: And it's a game changer because then you're not buying
- 30:39Speaker 1: store bought, which is expensive. And then typically storebot has
- 30:42Speaker 1: a lot of salt, so you have to try and
- 30:44Speaker 1: find the no salt version, and then you know, it
- 30:46Speaker 1: just kind of it's more at home things that are
- 30:48Speaker 1: so easy to do, and then you don't waste these
- 30:50Speaker 1: vegetables that you're like sad to throw away if they
- 30:52Speaker 1: don't get used. Yeah, that's a good I actually need
- 30:55Speaker 1: to do that tonight because it's we're getting to that
- 30:57Speaker 1: point where it's like, all right, it's time, um, and
- 31:01Speaker 1: who are you corning, quarantining, or staying home with right now?
- 31:05Speaker 1: So I have, um, actually, my one of my girlfriends
- 31:09Speaker 1: is finally leaving today. She she's going back home. UM.
- 31:13Speaker 1: I have my girlfriend Kenzie, who has been my best
- 31:15Speaker 1: friend since we were kids. And then another girlfriend, Claire,
- 31:18Speaker 1: who's a yoga teacher. Kenzie's a social media manager but
- 31:21Speaker 1: also a personal trainer. So it's nice because I have
- 31:23Speaker 1: yoga and a personal trainer here um, and then I
- 31:26Speaker 1: also have my assistant quarantine. I love it. Yeah, who's
- 31:33Speaker 1: sitting across the table right now. She was at my
- 31:35Speaker 1: house because I she always when I'm when I'm not home,
- 31:38Speaker 1: when we traveled, she typically stays at my home just
- 31:40Speaker 1: to make sure everything's like okay. And you know, she
- 31:43Speaker 1: was actually in between moving and looking for a place,
- 31:46Speaker 1: so she was like at her parents house and waiting
- 31:48Speaker 1: to like find a new home. And then quarantine happened,
- 31:50Speaker 1: and then her family was like feeling sick, and she
- 31:52Speaker 1: was like, I was like, no, you can't leave, you
- 31:56Speaker 1: have to be here. Well, I was, what are you
- 31:58Speaker 1: if you're quarantining with Ryan, because I'm with my husband
- 32:01Speaker 1: and it he is one, like the loudest talker, and
- 32:05Speaker 1: like when there's double zooms going on and it's like
- 32:07Speaker 1: complete Like Ryan, of course and I are quarantined together,
- 32:11Speaker 1: but he's at his house in Beverly Hills, and so
- 32:14Speaker 1: on the weekend, like Thursday to Sundays, I most of
- 32:16Speaker 1: the time to spend with Ryan, but like right now,
- 32:17Speaker 1: he's having to wake up four thirty in the morning
- 32:20Speaker 1: to do Live with Kelley and Ryan to air it
- 32:21Speaker 1: at nine, you know, that you stop right and he's
- 32:25Speaker 1: you know, they're doing tapes. Now he's doing Idol, and
- 32:27Speaker 1: then he's doing so it's it's like for me to
- 32:29Speaker 1: be at the house on Monday through Wednesday, basically Thursday,
- 32:32Speaker 1: it's like I don't see him, you know. I mean
- 32:37Speaker 1: that's truly, I totally feel you because between you know,
- 32:41Speaker 1: I have all my Housewives press and podcasts, and now
- 32:45Speaker 1: they're doing all of the talk shows from from Zoom,
- 32:49Speaker 1: so like you know, I did the reel and all
- 32:50Speaker 1: these things, and then my husband's his he's like essentially
- 32:53Speaker 1: has a remote office as well, and our kids are
- 32:56Speaker 1: on Zooms like doing their call. Like it's all and
- 33:00Speaker 1: there's just so much going on. And then you know,
- 33:02Speaker 1: like my girlfriends feel bad because when I have these
- 33:04Speaker 1: Zoom calls or I d t V s, I'm like,
- 33:06Speaker 1: you go to your corners, you know, And then I
- 33:08Speaker 1: don't want to also, like for Ryan's privacy. The reason
- 33:11Speaker 1: why I obviously have a holse doing this myself as
- 33:14Speaker 1: a film in this kitchen, and it's like, you know,
- 33:15Speaker 1: I don't want to film in his home because just
- 33:18Speaker 1: for privacy reasons, and he's a very private person, so
- 33:20Speaker 1: I obviously film everything here and I'm doing recipes and
- 33:23Speaker 1: like just you know it's easier. Yeah, I know, well
- 33:26Speaker 1: it makes sense and you know it's kind of smart.
- 33:29Speaker 1: I I tell my husband, I'm like, there's one time.
- 33:31Speaker 1: I'm like, at three thirty. Every day we like kind
- 33:34Speaker 1: of made a deal at three thirty, I need to
- 33:36Speaker 1: present with our family, like we're gonna go on like
- 33:39Speaker 1: even though it's just around our house, but we're gonna
- 33:42Speaker 1: go on a little walk with the dogs and like
- 33:44Speaker 1: that's gonna be our time because if not, I swear,
- 33:48Speaker 1: we get like so sucked into this like world of
- 33:51Speaker 1: zoom and talking to people because we're like like that,
- 33:55Speaker 1: I'm like, where does what I was supposed to do?
- 33:58Speaker 1: Like seven of the things? At all sudden, You're the
- 34:00Speaker 1: day's gone. I know it's weird, and how are you doing? Emotionally,
- 34:04Speaker 1: Like I feel like I go in waves. Like there's
- 34:06Speaker 1: some days where I feel like, Okay, I can do this.
- 34:09Speaker 1: This is you know, everything's going smoothly, And there's some
- 34:12Speaker 1: days I wake up and I'm like, okay, I need this.
- 34:14Speaker 1: I had a dream last night that this was over
- 34:16Speaker 1: and I really need this to be. Yeah, I feel
- 34:19Speaker 1: like I got to the same thing. It's been like
- 34:21Speaker 1: at the beginning, it's really nice for me because I
- 34:23Speaker 1: before Ryan and I traveled so much, like we were
- 34:26Speaker 1: on a plane every four days, back and forth to
- 34:28Speaker 1: New York to l A to whatever. Like it was
- 34:31Speaker 1: like I was never we were both never in LA
- 34:33Speaker 1: because we were traveling all the time. And so for
- 34:36Speaker 1: the first four weeks, I was like both of us
- 34:38Speaker 1: were like, this is so nice. We don't have to
- 34:40Speaker 1: like get on a plane like every four days. And
- 34:43Speaker 1: you know he's got I oh right now. So this
- 34:44Speaker 1: is like when it's the worst, He's like back and
- 34:47Speaker 1: forth every single week, and it's like it's hard for somebody.
- 34:50Speaker 1: And I don't partice. I partake in half because I'm like,
- 34:52Speaker 1: I love you so much, but I can't torture myself.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Um So I'm like, I'll be key, are you just
- 35:00Speaker 1: go wait for a little bit and then we'll come
- 35:01Speaker 1: back here. Um So that was like initially I was
- 35:05Speaker 1: just so thrilled to not being a plan all the time.
- 35:07Speaker 1: But now that it's been like what we got now
- 35:09Speaker 1: like six weeks twing, I think we're like seven weeks.
- 35:12Speaker 1: I don't know. It's I the only way I do
- 35:14Speaker 1: the countdown now is how many weeks of school are left.
- 35:17Speaker 1: That's a good way to do it. I'm like, so
- 35:19Speaker 1: I have five more weeks of this virtual booling, because
- 35:23Speaker 1: I mean that that's the worst part for us. I
- 35:26Speaker 1: have a little sister too, Um, she's with my mom,
- 35:29Speaker 1: and yeah, it's very interesting. It's it's just a crazy time,
- 35:33Speaker 1: you know. But yeah, now I'm getting a little I'm
- 35:36Speaker 1: starting to get a little star crazy. I mean I
- 35:37Speaker 1: was already a home body to begin with because I
- 35:39Speaker 1: love being home and I love cooking at home, so
- 35:41Speaker 1: I didn't really eat out that much and stuff. But um,
- 35:44Speaker 1: it definitely starts to definitely starts to wear on you.
- 35:47Speaker 1: And then also like I you know, I love my
- 35:49Speaker 1: girlfriends so much, but like being quarantined when you love
- 35:52Speaker 1: to be alone for with like you know, everyone's got
- 35:56Speaker 1: their own personality and things that they're doing. I'm like,
- 35:59Speaker 1: can't wait to have my Now. I'm like, I love
- 36:01Speaker 1: you guys, but well, you start to notice things about
- 36:05Speaker 1: somebody that you've never noticed before around each other so
- 36:11Speaker 1: much and I'm probably with them before, by the way,
- 36:14Speaker 1: for like today, so I've been with them since like March. Second,
- 36:18Speaker 1: that's a long time with a friend. That's that's a lot.
- 36:20Speaker 1: I mean, at least to a husband, I can be like,
- 36:23Speaker 1: can you breathe somewhere else exactly because you're used to
- 36:26Speaker 1: living with each other. Like I'm luckily not sick of Ryan,
- 36:29Speaker 1: because you know, we take two days apart from for
- 36:31Speaker 1: work and then we're like, oh, yeah, I'm so excited.
- 36:33Speaker 1: But yeah, when we're when we're not by the way
- 36:36Speaker 1: like before this, when we were never apart for like
- 36:38Speaker 1: I don't even know how long. It's yeah, you're like, okay,
- 36:41Speaker 1: you do you boo, and I do me, and then
- 36:43Speaker 1: we'll chat later. We'll meet back up when we're in
- 36:46Speaker 1: a better place to talk exactly exactly. Everyone can relate
- 36:51Speaker 1: to that. I know. I feel like everybody that I
- 36:54Speaker 1: talked to is like, you know, my husband does this,
- 36:57Speaker 1: or my boyfriend does this, or my you know, my
- 36:59Speaker 1: roommate making me insane, or everyone's on the same page.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Because I mean, no matter who you are, what or
- 37:07Speaker 1: it doesn't exist for two people are just for some
- 37:09Speaker 1: reason the most compatible people. And it just doesn't friendship
- 37:13Speaker 1: relationship where you like don't get irritated at least a
- 37:16Speaker 1: little bit, you know, So everyone is in the same
- 37:19Speaker 1: boat because we're just stuck. We're just stuck. You can't
- 37:23Speaker 1: go anywhere, You're not going to work like it is
- 37:25Speaker 1: what it is, but it's And if everybody did just
- 37:29Speaker 1: get along perfectly, it would be so boring, like what
- 37:32Speaker 1: would we do? Who who would we vent to? How
- 37:34Speaker 1: could we have happy our zooms with our friends? Like
- 37:37Speaker 1: we need to have those moments be like, hey, where
- 37:42Speaker 1: are you good? We'd be like robots walking around. I
- 37:46Speaker 1: guess we're gonna talk about nothing, because where do people
- 37:52Speaker 1: find out more information? A well, one about the CBD,
- 37:55Speaker 1: but also about you and cooking and lifestyle. And I'm
- 37:58Speaker 1: still gonna be waiting on the breathing exercise because I
- 38:01Speaker 1: need to know. So I'll do a video today of
- 38:04Speaker 1: of like an up close and explaining it and how
- 38:06Speaker 1: to do it so that you can you can post
- 38:07Speaker 1: it for the podcast, because it really is tremendous. Like
- 38:11Speaker 1: I was shocked on how much just breathing like that
- 38:14Speaker 1: can somehow called. And then I know there's like a
- 38:16Speaker 1: Yogi signs to it, which I can't explain because I
- 38:18Speaker 1: can't remember, but maybe I'll google it's gonna do. But
- 38:21Speaker 1: it does just from like anybody that I've had to
- 38:24Speaker 1: it is like done founded when they're like well, it's
- 38:27Speaker 1: like it's like going for a run and all of
- 38:28Speaker 1: a sudden you have all these endorphins. It like makes
- 38:30Speaker 1: you feel like that relax, like wow, I just feel
- 38:33Speaker 1: so good right now. Um So, anyway, So I have
- 38:36Speaker 1: Shane's Kitchen um and Instagram is Shana at shanea dot
- 38:40Speaker 1: kitchen um, which is where I post all my recipes, uh,
- 38:43Speaker 1: and then all wellness advice work out sometimes skin care routines,
- 38:47Speaker 1: like literally everything wellness I cover there and then you
- 38:50Speaker 1: I also have a website where you can go into
- 38:52Speaker 1: more depth with this, Shanea's Kitchen dot com. And then
- 38:55Speaker 1: I sell Macha on there. I don't know if you're
- 38:56Speaker 1: a watch a drinker, are you? Oh? I kind of
- 39:00Speaker 1: kind of am, but I probably need to dig into more.
- 39:03Speaker 1: I need more information. We're sending you Bottle and Stone
- 39:06Speaker 1: the products, and we're also selling your magic when it
- 39:08Speaker 1: goes back in stock. We get our ship in the
- 39:10Speaker 1: first week of May. Um. I again, say, had the
- 39:13Speaker 1: same issue with Mancha where I loved it so much,
- 39:15Speaker 1: but every product it was all kind of like this,
- 39:17Speaker 1: and so like the problem, like you get it from
- 39:19Speaker 1: Starbucks or something, and it's like filled with junk, and
- 39:22Speaker 1: that's why I can't do it. So it's like I
- 39:24Speaker 1: want to try one that I like, but everyone that
- 39:26Speaker 1: I've tried has so many sugars and artificial stuff that
- 39:29Speaker 1: I'm like, this is an awkward too bitter or chucky.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Like there's weird stuff in mancha. That's that's another thing.
- 39:34Speaker 1: I love America so much because you can build a
- 39:37Speaker 1: business here from anything. But then there's it also comes
- 39:40Speaker 1: with half of the people that go on a trend,
- 39:43Speaker 1: they just put out garbage because they want to make
- 39:45Speaker 1: money and it's a trend, so like it's hard to
- 39:48Speaker 1: you know, maneuver through and try to find those brands
- 39:50Speaker 1: that are like legitimately doing it because it's they're passionate
- 39:53Speaker 1: about it and not just because they see dollar signs.
- 39:55Speaker 1: So you know, Macha again was one of those industry
- 39:57Speaker 1: where it was so trendy that like there's just so
- 40:00Speaker 1: much out there, and there's also like cheap, cheap stuff,
- 40:03Speaker 1: which is I'm telling you never good, and then there's
- 40:06Speaker 1: like medium, which is there's different there's technically different grades
- 40:09Speaker 1: of much. Right, there's like the cheap shitty stuff, and
- 40:11Speaker 1: then there's like you know, okay stuff, and there's ceremonial grade,
- 40:14Speaker 1: and then it kind of goes to like really expensive weird.
- 40:16Speaker 1: I still don't understand what makes it more expensive than that,
- 40:19Speaker 1: Like there's watching for like I'm like, what so much
- 40:26Speaker 1: of that that would be too expensive? But anyway, so
- 40:29Speaker 1: I found this incredible, incredible matchup from Japan. UM also
- 40:33Speaker 1: organic if they don't grind the leaves until I put
- 40:36Speaker 1: the order in, so it is like couldn't be any
- 40:38Speaker 1: more fresh. It doesn't sit on a shelf. It sits
- 40:40Speaker 1: in the refrigerator. We recommend that when you get it
- 40:43Speaker 1: as well, instead of keeping it on your countertop, you
- 40:45Speaker 1: keep it in the fridge because it it keeps the
- 40:47Speaker 1: highest antioxidant in corrella potency, which is where you get
- 40:51Speaker 1: all the benefits from UM. Anyway, it's in. It's vibrant
- 40:54Speaker 1: and green. Like that's another like difference between the two.
- 40:57Speaker 1: If it looks like brown round at all, it's that's bad.
- 41:02Speaker 1: If it's all green, but but if it's vibrant being
- 41:06Speaker 1: checked the ingredient list because there is a chance that
- 41:09Speaker 1: they are mixing it with like a screw linut or
- 41:11Speaker 1: a corrella that's gonna make it brighter. So there's also
- 41:15Speaker 1: that trick, so make sure it's just not a green tea.
- 41:18Speaker 1: And if it's vibrant and it's a decent price, it's
- 41:21Speaker 1: probably good quality. But anyway, I sell that too, So
- 41:24Speaker 1: that's on Shade's kitchen, all right. I'm like getting way
- 41:26Speaker 1: side track. And then bottling Stone is bottling Stone dot
- 41:30Speaker 1: us and then our Instagram is just bottling Stone, um
- 41:32Speaker 1: where we post obviously about the product and then different
- 41:35Speaker 1: different information about our farm and you can also see
- 41:37Speaker 1: our farm. There are farmers, what we do, the plants themselves. Um.
- 41:40Speaker 1: We also have a video clip of me going during
- 41:43Speaker 1: harvest all that kind of stuff. That is so cool.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Thank you so much for telling us all about guys.
- 41:49Speaker 1: I am gonna try all of these products and I'm
- 41:52Speaker 1: going to report back as well, and you know, maybe
- 41:55Speaker 1: this opinion too. Maybe next time I'm on the that
- 41:59Speaker 1: my next tea, paw, I'm gonna be like chill, not
- 42:02Speaker 1: as anxious. Maybe we'll see or maybe I'll just take
- 42:05Speaker 1: the edge off a little bit. Either way, I'm excited
- 42:08Speaker 1: to try and it sounds like such an amazing product,
- 42:10Speaker 1: So thank you so much for filling us in and
- 42:12Speaker 1: it was so nice to meet you. Excited for you
- 42:14Speaker 1: to try too, and it was really nice to meet
- 42:16Speaker 1: you as well. It was lovely to talk to you,
- 42:18Speaker 1: which doesn't always happen, I know, right, Well, I hope
- 42:21Speaker 1: to talk to you soon, Yeah, for sure. Thank you.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Thanks for listening. Subscribe to any tea pot on I heard, radio,
