Latest / Neil McCoy-Ward Podcast / 🚨 She Just Announced The Unthinkable!!!
Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_02: She just announced the unthinkable as European life savings are about to be mobilized.
- 0:10SPEAKER_02: They absolutely love this word at the moment, don't they?
- 0:13SPEAKER_02: Mobilize.
- 0:14SPEAKER_02: The mobilization of money.
- 0:17SPEAKER_02: The mobilization of manpower.
- 0:19SPEAKER_02: It's funny that they use the word manpower when they're so...
- 0:23SPEAKER_02: Gun-ho on women should have equal rights on the front line, etc.
- 0:28SPEAKER_02: But the things they're announcing now, we're going to get into in a moment.
- 0:31SPEAKER_02: This was a speech that was delivered just a couple of days ago
- 0:36SPEAKER_02: by Ursula von der Leyen, head of the European Union, of course.
- 0:41SPEAKER_02: And I was pretty sure, well, I'd say I...
- 0:46SPEAKER_02: Ordinarily,
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: I should be shocked,
- 0:48SPEAKER_02: but nothing shocks me anymore with what they are doing and what they're going
- 0:53SPEAKER_02: to be doing with everybody's life savings.
- 0:57SPEAKER_02: They're calling people lazy for just putting their savings in the bank
- 1:01SPEAKER_02: and they said, no, no, no,
- 1:03SPEAKER_02: we are now going to take over your savings and we're going to mobilize your savings
- 1:08SPEAKER_02: for the harmony and the harmonious, equitable projects.
- 1:14SPEAKER_02: What are those projects?
- 1:16SPEAKER_02: We know a lot of them.
- 1:17SPEAKER_02: They are struggling.
- 1:18SPEAKER_02: It's interesting how this happened one day after they wanted to basically take
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: the Russian assets that they've confiscated.
- 1:30SPEAKER_02: But the head of Belgium, Belgium Prime Minister, blocked it.
- 1:34SPEAKER_02: So he was one of the people that blocked it.
- 1:36SPEAKER_02: And then a day later, they announced this new plan for all the savings in Europe.
- 1:42SPEAKER_02: What a coincidence.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: I mean, I'm sure there's no correlation to the Russian assets
- 1:48SPEAKER_02: and 24 hours later this happening.
- 1:51SPEAKER_02: Let me go over to the shared screen a moment here and bring you up to speed.
- 1:55SPEAKER_02: So this confirmed on the right here was delivered on the 27th of August in Paris.
- 2:02SPEAKER_02: It is not in English so we've got the subtitles here.
- 2:06SPEAKER_02: Savings unfortunately aren't lazy, she says.
- 2:11SPEAKER_02: 10 trillion euros of household savings remain in bank deposits.
- 2:18SPEAKER_02: That's a lot of money.
- 2:20SPEAKER_02: And a significant portion of European savings is invested outside of our continent.
- 2:25SPEAKER_02: We'll actually get onto this in a moment.
- 2:28SPEAKER_02: Europe must now put these savings at the service of these companies.
- 2:32SPEAKER_02: And that is the goal of the Savings and Investment Union, obviously their new policy.
- 2:38SPEAKER_02: We have put forward proposals on securitization.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: On investments by banks and insurance companies,
- 2:48SPEAKER_02: on the integration of our markets and their operation and their supervision.
- 2:55SPEAKER_02: Together, we can unlock up to 470 billion euros of additional investment.
- 3:03SPEAKER_02: I mean, there's so much to unpack there.
- 3:05SPEAKER_02: There really is.
- 3:06SPEAKER_02: Where do we even start with that?
- 3:10SPEAKER_02: But this to me is shocking,
- 3:11SPEAKER_02: the way she stood there with the power position,
- 3:14SPEAKER_02: you know,
- 3:14SPEAKER_02: the camera shooting up at her and she's announcing in her authoritarian voice,
- 3:21SPEAKER_02: I like to use that word as opposed to authoritative voice.
- 3:24SPEAKER_02: And she's there announcing this new savings union that is going to harmonize
- 3:31SPEAKER_02: and make everything more equitable because there's savings that some people have got
- 3:36SPEAKER_02: that are just sat there in the bank and yet there's other people over here
- 3:39SPEAKER_02: that don't have savings.
- 3:41SPEAKER_02: We need to mobilize this money to make it more equitable for everyone.
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: Ladies and gentlemen, that's called socialism.
- 3:50SPEAKER_02: There's no such thing as adding semantics to certain assets.
- 3:56SPEAKER_02: You can't say, savings, i.e.
- 4:00SPEAKER_02: money, is lazy.
- 4:02SPEAKER_02: Money is not lazy.
- 4:03SPEAKER_02: Money is simply money.
- 4:06SPEAKER_02: The person who has the money may be lazy.
- 4:10SPEAKER_02: You could describe a person as lazy or not lazy, but you can't describe savings as lazy.
- 4:16SPEAKER_02: But that is what they are saying.
- 4:18SPEAKER_02: These savings need to be mobilized for the greater good.
- 4:21SPEAKER_02: So what are they going to do?
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: Well, if you recall...
- 4:26SPEAKER_02: I'll just bring this up.
- 4:27SPEAKER_02: This was from about a year ago when I did a video for you and I talked
- 4:31SPEAKER_02: about what they were proposing.
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: And you can look this document up.
- 4:37SPEAKER_02: It's called Crossing Two Hurdles With One Leap.
- 4:41SPEAKER_02: Boosting returns on capital markets via an EU savings product.
- 4:46SPEAKER_02: So this is what it was supposed to be.
- 4:47SPEAKER_02: It was supposed to be this EU saving product, but now it's not quite the same.
- 4:53SPEAKER_02: They've had to adjust this quite heavily.
- 4:56SPEAKER_02: So they've said there's now an urgent need to channel...
- 5:01SPEAKER_02: The words they're using.
- 5:03SPEAKER_02: Retail savings,
- 5:04SPEAKER_02: that means your savings in your bank account,
- 5:06SPEAKER_02: into European capital markets in order to develop those markets and do what?
- 5:12SPEAKER_02: Finance EU priorities.
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: Well, we know what the EU priorities are right now.
- 5:17SPEAKER_02: It's warfare.
- 5:19SPEAKER_02: In this edition of the blog,
- 5:20SPEAKER_02: we show that an EU savings standard could increase retail participation in
- 5:25SPEAKER_02: the capital market,
- 5:27SPEAKER_02: benefiting savers,
- 5:28SPEAKER_02: boosting investment in the EU companies, and supporting strategic priorities.
- 5:34SPEAKER_02: Well, you look at what those priorities are.
- 5:36SPEAKER_02: It's war, it's Ukraine, it's Russia, etc.
- 5:39SPEAKER_02: I don't see that as a strategic, excellent priority.
- 5:43SPEAKER_02: The other thing they're not saying is that it won't benefit savers
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: because you won't be a saver anymore.
- 5:49SPEAKER_02: You'll be an investor.
- 5:51SPEAKER_02: And the whole point of this is that some people just don't want to be an investor.
- 5:58SPEAKER_02: Some people have a very low risk tolerance.
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: And if they can get Three or four percent in a savings account.
- 6:06SPEAKER_02: That is what they want to get.
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: Or they might buy some bonds or something like that with it.
- 6:10SPEAKER_02: Maybe link to the account.
- 6:12SPEAKER_02: That is that person's risk tolerance.
- 6:14SPEAKER_02: You can't just say, well, you know what?
- 6:18SPEAKER_02: I...
- 6:20SPEAKER_02: Just going to push that to the side.
- 6:22SPEAKER_02: And these people need to be getting a higher return.
- 6:25SPEAKER_02: We can get you 5% to 6%.
- 6:28SPEAKER_02: What they're not saying is, yes, with risk.
- 6:31SPEAKER_02: Investing it into these capital-heavy EU markets is a recipe for disaster.
- 6:37SPEAKER_02: The returns there are just not good.
- 6:39SPEAKER_02: And they're not going to be good because of their energy policy.
- 6:43SPEAKER_02: And the over-regulation which destroys any form of entrepreneurship or anyone
- 6:49SPEAKER_02: who wants to come into the EU.
- 6:51SPEAKER_02: Why do you think all of the AI companies are outside of the EU?
- 6:57SPEAKER_02: They're all in America.
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: Because the regulations are much softer.
- 7:01SPEAKER_02: So you can actually grow a business there.
- 7:03SPEAKER_02: Good luck growing it in the EU where you've got,
- 7:05SPEAKER_02: what is it, 27 member states or whatever it is these days.
- 7:09SPEAKER_02: I think Iceland just rejected joining.
- 7:13SPEAKER_02: Ursula was very confident Iceland were going to join.
- 7:15SPEAKER_02: No, they rejected it for very good time.
- 7:19SPEAKER_02: We'll come back to that in a moment, actually, the article.
- 7:23SPEAKER_02: Because I wanted to show you, in times like this, you've got to take more measures.
- 7:29SPEAKER_02: Look at gold at the moment.
- 7:31SPEAKER_02: This month, It's up 8%.
- 7:34SPEAKER_02: It's a bit softer on the week.
- 7:36SPEAKER_02: It's down a few percent on the week, but it is up 8% on the month.
- 7:41SPEAKER_02: On the year, it's up 22%, 23.5% actually, to be more accurately, on the year.
- 7:49SPEAKER_02: And that's why I recommend to you gold,
- 7:52SPEAKER_02: gold and silver as one of those assets that you can actually hold and will grow
- 7:58SPEAKER_02: over time as what we're going to see is capital depreciation.
- 8:03SPEAKER_02: And that's why the The channel sponsor here is Monetary Metals.
- 8:07SPEAKER_02: And if you don't really know much about Monetary Metals,
- 8:11SPEAKER_02: I'll tell you a little bit about it for a moment.
- 8:13SPEAKER_02: Because gold prices have performed really well over the last year,
- 8:17SPEAKER_02: but what if there were a way to make your gold work for you rather
- 8:20SPEAKER_02: than it sitting idle or paying fees to store it?
- 8:24SPEAKER_02: That's exactly what Monetary Metals is doing
- 8:27SPEAKER_02: because they've created this groundbreaking way for clients to earn up to a 4% yield
- 8:33SPEAKER_02: on gold and that's actually paid in gold, it's not paid in fiat.
- 8:38SPEAKER_02: So you don't have to sell your metal,
- 8:39SPEAKER_02: you don't have to convert it into cash,
- 8:41SPEAKER_02: you simply earn more ounces of gold over time.
- 8:45SPEAKER_02: And they run a very transparent marketplace that leases gold to industry,
- 8:50SPEAKER_02: to businesses who then use it productively.
- 8:52SPEAKER_02: Think of jewelers,
- 8:54SPEAKER_02: think of refiners,
- 8:55SPEAKER_02: and those returns from those leases then go back to clients,
- 8:59SPEAKER_02: and that's paid in gold, not fiat.
- 9:01SPEAKER_02: So it's a very simple,
- 9:02SPEAKER_02: sound and fully asset-backed model designed for people who understand real value
- 9:07SPEAKER_02: and want to grow their wealth in honest money.
- 9:10SPEAKER_02: Monetary Metals is all about building real,
- 9:12SPEAKER_02: sustainable wealth in the world's most trusted asset.
- 9:16SPEAKER_02: So you can join $1,000.
- 9:31SPEAKER_02: to learn how you can earn a yield on gold which is paid in gold and you can fill in
- 9:35SPEAKER_02: the form to actually have a conversation with someone there.
- 9:49SPEAKER_02: So let's go back then.
- 9:51SPEAKER_02: Let's go back to what they were talking about in this article.
- 9:55SPEAKER_02: We've got a lot more to cover yet.
- 9:57SPEAKER_02: So they said they want to channel savings into capital markets would also help
- 10:02SPEAKER_02: to finance the priorities of the EU.
- 10:06SPEAKER_02: Here we go.
- 10:07SPEAKER_02: Karl Marx would be smiling at this right now, I think.
- 10:12SPEAKER_02: From the consumer's perspective,
- 10:14SPEAKER_02: ensuring that investments have a broad geographical scope can enhance returns
- 10:18SPEAKER_02: and diversify risk.
- 10:20SPEAKER_02: That is correct.
- 10:21SPEAKER_02: Full stop.
- 10:22SPEAKER_02: End of story.
- 10:24SPEAKER_02: But then they go on to say,
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: however, this approach may conflict with the goal of financing European priorities.
- 10:33SPEAKER_02: That right there, ladies and gentlemen, should tell you everything you need to know.
- 10:39SPEAKER_02: They've said it,
- 10:39SPEAKER_02: and that's why I've highlighted it in green,
- 10:41SPEAKER_02: that from your perspective, you need a broad scope.
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: So that means investing in the US, maybe some emerging markets, maybe some other countries.
- 10:52SPEAKER_02: But because that will diversify your risk and enhance your returns.
- 10:56SPEAKER_02: They're telling you in black and white.
- 10:58SPEAKER_02: They're saying,
- 10:59SPEAKER_02: however, this approach may conflict with the goal of financing European priorities.
- 11:05SPEAKER_02: So this is,
- 11:07SPEAKER_02: you know,
- 11:07SPEAKER_02: even given these images and everything else they want you to do,
- 11:10SPEAKER_02: it's crazy what they're doing.
- 11:13SPEAKER_02: Combining selection criteria enables the pursuit of EU objectives.
- 11:19SPEAKER_02: And then they've got, you know, big thing on what they want you to invest into, of course.
- 11:23SPEAKER_02: But they're telling you investing in the capital markets is not without risks.
- 11:27SPEAKER_02: The individual returns of the selected funds vary significantly.
- 11:32SPEAKER_02: This is worrying, ladies and gentlemen.
- 11:35SPEAKER_02: It's really,
- 11:36SPEAKER_02: really worrying that, um,
- 11:39SPEAKER_02: I've got a tiny little slither in the blinds there and the sun's coming
- 11:45SPEAKER_02: through it right in my eye.
- 11:47SPEAKER_02: I wanted to talk on the next one then.
- 11:49SPEAKER_02: So if you wanted to read that document, you can read it.
- 11:51SPEAKER_02: But the next one was they are moving towards capital traffic controls.
- 11:58SPEAKER_02: This is what I believe.
- 12:00SPEAKER_02: And the reason why I believe that is We'll go through a couple of articles here.
- 12:05SPEAKER_02: So this was from the European Union.
- 12:07SPEAKER_02: It was a document back in 2024, so two years ago now.
- 12:12SPEAKER_02: And you can read any of these you want.
- 12:14SPEAKER_02: I'll put it on screen here so you can see it.
- 12:16SPEAKER_02: But this was the diary.
- 12:18SPEAKER_02: Directive 1619, or 2024-1619.
- 12:22SPEAKER_02: And this was regarding supervisory powers sanctions,
- 12:27SPEAKER_02: third country branches,
- 12:28SPEAKER_02: and this is what we'll come on to, and obviously the ESG, etc., etc.
- 12:33SPEAKER_02: So what they're doing now is they,
- 12:36SPEAKER_02: as of this was April 2024,
- 12:38SPEAKER_02: they started this approach to remove the on-ramps so that what they're trying
- 12:43SPEAKER_02: to do is bring all the euros back to the EU.
- 12:47SPEAKER_02: Article 21C of the CRD introduces a significant change by imposing a ban
- 13:04SPEAKER_02: There we go.
- 13:04SPEAKER_02: A ban on third country institutions providing core banking services.
- 13:10SPEAKER_02: So this is lending, guarantees, commitments, and deposit taking.
- 13:14SPEAKER_02: This is the key one here.
- 13:15SPEAKER_02: Deposit taking into the EU on a cross-border basis, i.e.
- 13:20SPEAKER_02: without a physical presence.
- 13:22SPEAKER_02: See, that's what they're trying to do.
- 13:23SPEAKER_02: They're trying to block any sort of capital now.
- 13:28SPEAKER_02: That's sitting outside the EU from being utilized by you.
- 13:33SPEAKER_02: They want it all within their reach.
- 13:36SPEAKER_02: And then we'll come on to the digital euro, etc.
- 13:39SPEAKER_02: Look at that on the screen.
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: Look at that.
- 13:41SPEAKER_02: The sun right in my face.
- 13:42SPEAKER_02: Let me move back.
- 13:44SPEAKER_02: Hold on.
- 13:45SPEAKER_02: Let me move back a second.
- 13:46SPEAKER_02: But this is what they're trying to do.
- 13:48SPEAKER_02: They're trying to mobilize all of the funds here.
- 13:52SPEAKER_02: You know, MERS just did a speech that was quite fiery.
- 13:56SPEAKER_02: Here it was.
- 13:57SPEAKER_02: And he's saying people need to work harder.
- 13:59SPEAKER_02: Let's get this.
- 14:12SPEAKER_02: They're all cheering.
- 14:14SPEAKER_02: He's saying, you know, work-life balance is a myth.
- 14:19SPEAKER_02: Go to China and you'll see they work six days a week.
- 14:22SPEAKER_02: We Germans need to work more, you know, four days, you know, work-life balance doesn't exist.
- 14:27SPEAKER_02: We need to work more.
- 14:29SPEAKER_02: No, he's preparing everybody.
- 14:31SPEAKER_02: They're all preparing people.
- 14:32SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you saw this.
- 14:33SPEAKER_02: This is a really weird one.
- 14:36SPEAKER_02: I tried to upscale this image,
- 14:38SPEAKER_02: but it didn't do too well, you know, messed up all the faces and everything.
- 14:43SPEAKER_02: But we kind of get an idea for what is happening at the moment.
- 14:48SPEAKER_02: So remember on Friday, and even before, A week before Friday just gone.
- 14:54SPEAKER_02: I said, what we're going to see is some sort of an event.
- 14:58SPEAKER_02: It could be a false flag or just something will take place that the EU will say
- 15:04SPEAKER_02: and NATO will say, okay, look,
- 15:07SPEAKER_02: Russia has done this inside of our country and therefore it's an act of war,
- 15:13SPEAKER_02: Article 5, etc.
- 15:15SPEAKER_02: We need to go to war.
- 15:16SPEAKER_02: And what I mentioned was we're going to see Not conventional strikes,
- 15:23SPEAKER_02: but we're going to see hybrid attacks.
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: So it could be arson attacks, etc.
- 15:28SPEAKER_02: There's been a lot of these arson attacks,
- 15:30SPEAKER_02: which I believe was Russian operatives within the EU doing it.
- 15:36SPEAKER_02: So not conventional warfare, but hybrid warfare.
- 15:40SPEAKER_02: You know, destroying drone factories, setting them alight, things like that.
- 15:44SPEAKER_02: All is fair in love and war, as they say.
- 15:48SPEAKER_02: So I wouldn't be surprised at all if Russian operatives were doing this,
- 15:52SPEAKER_02: sabotaging these drone factories,
- 15:54SPEAKER_02: which are of course inflicting significant damage in Russia.
- 15:59SPEAKER_02: So we talked about that.
- 16:00SPEAKER_02: Well, all of a sudden,
- 16:02SPEAKER_02: whenever I see these posts that come out from all of the leaders,
- 16:08SPEAKER_02: all at the same time, and it's the exact same post, it makes me suspicious.
- 16:13SPEAKER_02: So what they're talking about is this strike that was on the...
- 16:21SPEAKER_02: The Leipzig, it was basically
- 16:30SPEAKER_02: this drone strike, basically.
- 16:32SPEAKER_02: They said there was a big planned attack on an airport and explosives were found
- 16:37SPEAKER_02: and all the other things.
- 16:38SPEAKER_02: And they said that they are going to respond to this.
- 16:40SPEAKER_02: We all need to come together to respond to it.
- 16:43SPEAKER_02: But what I find really bizarre about that is that The EU is acting as if,
- 16:50SPEAKER_02: I can't believe Russia,
- 16:52SPEAKER_02: this is an outrage,
- 16:53SPEAKER_02: I can't believe they would even consider Planting a bomb or sending a drone
- 17:00SPEAKER_02: into our countries.
- 17:03SPEAKER_02: What have we done wrong?
- 17:05SPEAKER_02: We're nothing to do with this.
- 17:06SPEAKER_02: We're just innocent bystanders helping Ukraine.
- 17:09SPEAKER_02: Of course we know that is not what's happening.
- 17:12SPEAKER_02: It is a proxy war.
- 17:14SPEAKER_02: It is NATO in effect against Russia.
- 17:18SPEAKER_02: We all know that.
- 17:20SPEAKER_02: However you look at it,
- 17:22SPEAKER_02: some of you are pro-Russia,
- 17:23SPEAKER_02: some of you are pro-Ukraine,
- 17:25SPEAKER_02: whatever, it doesn't make any difference to me, your stance.
- 17:28SPEAKER_02: What I'm saying here is it's a bizarre set of circumstances and how How they respond
- 17:34SPEAKER_02: to try and say, I can't believe this has happened.
- 17:37SPEAKER_02: We haven't done anything wrong.
- 17:40SPEAKER_02: When obviously everyone's at war already, it just isn't official.
- 17:45SPEAKER_02: You'll see the official announcements in the near future.
- 17:49SPEAKER_02: It's somewhat baffling when you see all these things.
- 17:52SPEAKER_02: It's strange.
- 17:55SPEAKER_02: Another key one then, what did I say a little while back?
- 17:58SPEAKER_02: I think it would be Christine Lagarde that's the next head of the World Economic Forum.
- 18:04SPEAKER_02: She said she's ready to serve, this new report says.
- 18:09SPEAKER_02: And I thought that was interesting.
- 18:10SPEAKER_02: It mentions her incredible integrity.
- 18:13SPEAKER_02: Well, before we talk about her incredible integrity, we should probably just mention her...
- 18:19SPEAKER_02: Her conviction,
- 18:20SPEAKER_02: criminal convictions,
- 18:23SPEAKER_02: when she was the head of the IMF,
- 18:25SPEAKER_02: the International Monetary Fund,
- 18:29SPEAKER_02: and then she was moved after her conviction to the ECB,
- 18:33SPEAKER_02: where she's done her two terms, meant to only do one, did two terms.
- 18:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so she somehow avoided jail and And she kept her job, all because she pleaded guilty.
- 18:45SPEAKER_02: But anyway,
- 18:46SPEAKER_02: we will put that to the side because they talk about her incredible integrity as
- 18:51SPEAKER_02: a leader, of course.
- 18:53SPEAKER_02: But they said that she could be about to take this job in 2027.
- 18:58SPEAKER_02: She's ready.
- 19:00SPEAKER_02: The NZZ reported over the weekend Lagarde had been referred to as a putative candidate.
- 19:06SPEAKER_02: I would use a different word there.
- 19:09SPEAKER_02: For the position of WEF president during
- 19:11SPEAKER_02: a board meeting near Geneva earlier this week,
- 19:15SPEAKER_02: Lagarde,
- 19:15SPEAKER_02: who's on the board of trustees already,
- 19:17SPEAKER_02: has thanked fellow board members for their confidence in her.
- 19:21SPEAKER_02: She says she's ready to serve,
- 19:24SPEAKER_02: really, ready to serve herself, I think is what was meant to have been said.
- 19:29SPEAKER_02: Indeed.
- 19:30SPEAKER_02: So her role ends in October 2027.
- 19:35SPEAKER_02: And we know that people who love power only want more power.
- 19:39SPEAKER_02: So I don't think she's just going to be retiring, although she should.
- 19:43SPEAKER_02: She'll be going for the WEF role.
- 19:45SPEAKER_02: Well, another thing that made me laugh was talking
- 19:47SPEAKER_02: about this French presidential election campaign.
- 19:50SPEAKER_02: Can you imagine her running for the president of France?
- 19:54SPEAKER_02: She's actually ruled herself out now after letting that sort of rumor run for a little while.
- 20:01SPEAKER_02: I found that bizarre that she...
- 20:05SPEAKER_02: Actually thought she could run and win president of France at the moment
- 20:09SPEAKER_02: when we all know France is going to swing to the right just as a lot
- 20:13SPEAKER_02: of other European countries are going to swing to the right in this next election.
- 20:19SPEAKER_02: So her running is an interesting one.
- 20:24SPEAKER_02: Now then, we talked about Mobilizing the funds.
- 20:28SPEAKER_02: We talked about previously the digital euro, which they keep saying we might do it.
- 20:33SPEAKER_02: And now we all know they're going to do it.
- 20:35SPEAKER_02: It's just a matter of time.
- 20:37SPEAKER_02: But this is the new one that's just come out then.
- 20:40SPEAKER_02: ECB should embrace blockchain to safeguard its role.
- 20:45SPEAKER_02: This is the latest one.
- 20:47SPEAKER_02: They want to embrace the blockchain now then.
- 20:50SPEAKER_02: They're ramping up all of this rhetoric ready for their launch.
- 20:57SPEAKER_02: Now, a kind of concerning one as we get nearer to the end of the video here is
- 21:02SPEAKER_02: that Europe is about to go into winter,
- 21:05SPEAKER_02: as I forecast, with their gas storage at a two-decade low.
- 21:11SPEAKER_02: It's at just 63% full.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: As they're going into winter, that is going to drain down so quickly.
- 21:21SPEAKER_02: But they say it doesn't matter because they don't want natural gas anyway.
- 21:25SPEAKER_02: They want to use renewables and they're going to be bringing on their renewables.
- 21:28SPEAKER_02: So they're phasing out fossil fuels.
- 21:31SPEAKER_02: They don't want natural gas.
- 21:34SPEAKER_02: So they say that to the public.
- 21:35SPEAKER_02: But yet if you see what is going on behind closed doors and you read some
- 21:39SPEAKER_02: of these meeting notes, it's quite the opposite.
- 21:43SPEAKER_02: So they're fighting with Asia.
- 21:46SPEAKER_02: And Asia is winning for the LNG and the gas, basically.
- 21:51SPEAKER_02: Asia is winning because they're willing to...
- 21:57SPEAKER_02: They don't have the same strict criteria that the EU has and, oh,
- 22:01SPEAKER_02: the gas has got to be this and it's got to be that and,
- 22:04SPEAKER_02: you know, the green kind of washing and stuff that they're doing.
- 22:08SPEAKER_02: But they're losing heavily to Asia.
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: Asia's getting all the LNG and they just haven't,
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: they're not going to have the natural gas for this year.
- 22:18SPEAKER_02: But they said it doesn't matter because They've got
- 22:20SPEAKER_02: a campaign that's running that's going to get householders to reduce their heating.
- 22:27SPEAKER_02: So they're going to tell you to wear an extra sweater,
- 22:30SPEAKER_02: put a blanket on, extra blanket for bed, upgrade your windows, doing all this stuff.
- 22:36SPEAKER_02: They're mad if they think this is going to work.
- 22:39SPEAKER_02: But I looked at who has actually got the storage, and I can show you on screen here.
- 22:46SPEAKER_02: You've got Italy with 83%, so they're going to be very good, even though Italy's a lot warmer.
- 22:53SPEAKER_02: Poland, 93.5%, so they'll do well.
- 22:57SPEAKER_02: France, 71%, not great, but it was enough to get them through.
- 23:01SPEAKER_02: If you look at Germany,
- 23:01SPEAKER_02: you look at the Netherlands,
- 23:03SPEAKER_02: The Netherlands, you can't even believe that they've only got 47%.
- 23:08SPEAKER_02: Netherlands used to have huge reserves of natural gas, so did Germany.
- 23:15SPEAKER_02: But I guess that's what happens when you decide to pour concrete down your gas wells
- 23:21SPEAKER_02: in order that no one can ever open them up again.
- 23:25SPEAKER_02: Because of the net zero campaign.
- 23:27SPEAKER_02: These people,
- 23:29SPEAKER_02: when all of this is over,
- 23:30SPEAKER_02: and mark my words,
- 23:32SPEAKER_02: it will be over at some point in the near future,
- 23:35SPEAKER_02: there should be massive criminal trials against these leaders
- 23:39SPEAKER_02: who have really just destroyed the economies of Europe.
- 23:46SPEAKER_02: Sad, sad, but I do think there's going to be an end to it.
- 23:49SPEAKER_02: If we think of the cycle that we're in now, The fourth turning cycle.
- 23:53SPEAKER_02: We've gone through the first three and we're into the fourth part of the cycle now.
- 24:00SPEAKER_02: And 2027 is when we're getting close to it now.
- 24:04SPEAKER_02: As we go towards 2030 is obviously the war period.
- 24:09SPEAKER_02: The only sort of country that hasn't got involved yet, I would say, is China.
- 24:15SPEAKER_02: So that'll be interesting when you've got Iran, you've got Russia, you've got North Korea.
- 24:19SPEAKER_02: The three of them are already really in war, North Korea with Russia, with Ukraine against NATO.
- 24:26SPEAKER_02: And then you've got Iran,
- 24:27SPEAKER_02: USA, seems to be keeping both of those countries quite busy at the moment.
- 24:32SPEAKER_02: So it's really just China sitting there on the sidelines,
- 24:36SPEAKER_02: building up their military, building up their economy.
- 24:40SPEAKER_02: That's going to be...
- 24:42SPEAKER_02: That's going to be very interesting.
- 24:44SPEAKER_02: If something happens with Taiwan and the US does actually go in to defend Taiwan,
- 24:49SPEAKER_02: that means conflict with China, it's going to get very, very messy.
- 24:53SPEAKER_02: But we've still got a little bit of time.
- 24:56SPEAKER_02: If you would like If you want me to make any videos on preparedness for that sort
- 25:00SPEAKER_02: of period, please let me know.
- 25:01SPEAKER_02: Happy to make them.
- 25:02SPEAKER_02: I know people used to request preparedness videos very heavily before.
- 25:07SPEAKER_02: I haven't had those requests for a long time, but if you want any of those, happy to make them.
- 25:12SPEAKER_02: Other than that, check out Monetary Metals.
- 25:14SPEAKER_02: We talked about the channel sponsor here.
- 25:17SPEAKER_02: That's it for today.
- 25:18SPEAKER_02: Thanks a lot for being a subscriber.
- 25:19SPEAKER_02: Take care.
- 25:20SPEAKER_02: God bless you.
- 25:20SPEAKER_02: God bless your family.
- 25:22SPEAKER_02: I'll see you on Friday for the Walk and Talk.
- 25:24SPEAKER_02: Let's pray for no rain and good weather.
- 25:26SPEAKER_02: Bye for now.
