- 0:00The vital forces that have for the most part gained substantial
- 0:05control of the earth nature's vital existence are very
- 0:09protective of their turf, so to speak.
- 0:13They do not cede the ground easily, and once they are
- 0:17dismissed from an individual's nature, they still maintain both
- 0:21their existence and the surrounding nature and always
- 0:25try to either convince or overpower the seeker to regain
- 0:29their foothold in that individual.
- 0:33These forces in many instances are conscious vital forces or
- 0:37vital entities that direct these forces and they face potential
- 0:42restriction or elimination from the Earth plane even if they
- 0:46maintain their existence in their own vital worlds or
- 0:49planes. This restriction would cut them
- 0:52off from both the energies upon which they feed as well as their
- 0:57self aggrandizing attempt to control, manipulate and dominate
- 1:02life on earth. These vital forces tend to have
- 1:06more freedom of movement and more raw power than individuals
- 1:09in the earthly life can muster. Thus, defeating or eliminating
- 1:14these forces requires aid from the powers and beings that
- 1:18populate the spiritual plains and worlds and which are in the
- 1:22process of bringing forth the next phase of the evolution of
- 1:27consciousness on earth. In the tradition of India, the
- 1:33Divine Shakti is known as the Mother.
- 1:36In his book The Mother, Sri Aurobindo describes the powers,
- 1:41the action, and the manifestation of the Mother in
- 1:45her various forms for the evolutionary process and action.
- 1:49When he refers to the Mother, he is calling forth this power of
- 1:54the Divine Shakti. At the same time, he recognized
- 1:59that his collaborator Mira Alfasa was so deeply identified
- 2:04with the Divine Shakti in her powers that people could call
- 2:08upon her and receive a direct and personal connection that
- 2:12could aid them in their spiritual progress and in
- 2:16overcoming the forces of opposition.
- 2:21Many people have reported their unique experiences of the Divine
- 2:24Grace when they focused on the Divine Shakti or on the personal
- 2:29embodiment known in the Srioro Bindo Ashram community.
- 2:33As the Mother Srioro Bindo writes quote, it is the forces
- 2:40of the ignorance that begin first to lay siege from outside
- 2:44and then make a mass attack in order to overpower and capture.
- 2:49Every time such an attack can be defeated and cast out, there is
- 2:54a clearance in the being, a new field gained for the Mother in
- 2:58the mind, vital or physical, or the adjacent parts of the
- 3:02nature. That the place in the vital
- 3:05occupied by the Mother is increasing is shown by the fact
- 3:09that you are now offering a stronger resistance to these
- 3:12sieges that used formerly to overpower you altogether.
- 3:18To be able to call the Mother's presence or force at such times
- 3:22is the best way to meet the difficulty.
- 3:26It is with the Mother who is always with you and in you, that
- 3:29you converse. The only thing is to hear aright
- 3:34so that no other voice can ape hers or come in between her and
- 3:39you. End Quote.
