- 8:29Wray.
- 8:30The discussion was marked by a tone of skepticism.
- 8:34Oprah expressed concern that AI is still beyond our control, emphasizing the need for caution
- 8:40as humanity adapts to this technology.
- 8:44Altman discussed the importance of safety testing AI systems, but faced criticism for
- 8:49overstating their capabilities.
- 8:52Meanwhile, Wray highlighted rising issues like AI-driven sex torsion and disinformation,
- 8:59urging Americans to remain vigilant.
- 9:02Bill Gates provided a contrasting perspective, optimistic about AI's potential in education
- 9:08and medicine.
- 9:10And in entertainment news, Francis Ford Coppola is taking legal action against Variety magazine,
- 9:20seeking $15 million for libel.
- 9:24This lawsuit stems from claims in a July 26 article that suggested Coppola acted with
- 9:30impunity on a set of his film Megalopolis.
- 9:34The article included videos that allegedly showed the director attempting to kiss young
- 9:39female extras.

- 9:46a non-disclosure agreement.
- 9:48He emphasizes his respect for all involved in the film and condemns the use of surreptitious
- 9:54video for financial gain.
- 9:56Meanwhile, an extra from the film has also filed a lawsuit against Coppola for sibil
