- 0:07Now broadcasting from the next-gen conservative studio in
- 0:11Sunny South Florida, bringing you the latest in politics
- 0:15current events and pop culture. This is he's the Whitfield
- 0:19Report with Sam Whitfield. Hey there folks, welcome to the
- 0:32MonDay edition of the Whitfield report.
- 0:35And you know, I think everyone knows what we're going to be
- 0:41talking about it today because it's been all over the news this
- 0:46weekend, right? Yeah.
- 0:49Steam OS, 3.5 updates, coming out.
- 0:52It's going to be huge. It's gonna change everything.
- 0:55No, I mean, obviously, we're going to talk about Trump,
- 0:57right? Elephant in the room.
- 1:00Yeah, I mean, what's it a lot of people wanted me to do is show
- 1:06on Saturday, because and I told people on, you know, on Twitter
- 1:13to, you know, wait until Monday because honestly didn't even now
- 1:19this is the case. We're recording this at what
- 1:243:15 in the afternoon Eastern Standard Time.
- 1:29And we still don't know exactly what exactly is happening with
- 1:35this. You know, I guess potential
- 1:40arrest. That could be happening either
- 1:43tomorrow or sometime later this week if it even happens at all,
- 1:51right? So like we have to Let's Trace
- 1:54back to what's the source of all of this?
- 1:57Because it's not in. It's not like the New York
- 2:01District Attorney's Office, put out a statement or anything,
- 2:04right. So we have an anonymous source
- 2:07leaked Supposedly from within the District Attorney's office
- 2:12in Manhattan who this Anonymous person has leaked information
- 2:19that at some point in the near future imminently that Donald
- 2:26Trump would be indicted on some charge related to Stormy
- 2:30Daniels. It's it's not clear what charge
- 2:33specifically but we know it's related to the Stormy Daniels
- 2:36case or that's what the anonymous.
- 2:38Source says, we always have to remember, not to miss sources.
- 2:41Like people kind of get past that and get caught up in the
- 2:44hype. This all comes from an anonymous
- 2:46source and that's what we know is that they potentially would
- 2:52arrest Trump this week and that was leaked out to the Press,
- 2:57probably sometime Friday evening is probably when the first leak
- 3:00happened. That's usually how these things
- 3:02go, right? Because the the weekend news
- 3:04cycle shit and then It just spread like wildfire or I would
- 3:10say Saturday was the first time, most people were really talking
- 3:13about it and it didn't slow down from there on Sunday either.
- 3:18But still, we don't have any indictment, we don't have any
- 3:21arrests, we don't have any official statement from anybody,
- 3:26except Trump saying, if they're gonna arrest me, you know, you
- 3:31should protest it. It's a miscarriage of Justice.
- 3:34Its political hack job that this is a political thing.
- 3:38NG I can get into why I think that obviously that that's we
- 3:43are biased to kind of believe that lazy.
- 3:47I know Shocker, the guy with the Trump Banner behind him has a
- 3:50little bit of a bias but It just seems to be that it is a
- 3:57political thing because this is a case that has been settled.
- 4:00The Stormy Daniels case has been settled in court, and she was
- 4:03actually find 300,000 dollars for defamation for the claims
- 4:09that she made about Trump in her book.
- 4:11However, the Michael Cohen thing is supposedly, what this is
- 4:17related to and the brief version of that is he was a former Trump
- 4:21attorney who has Turned State's evidence, and also orange man,
- 4:26bad TDS. And has been making all kinds of
- 4:30claims for years and what that led to was at the same time, you
- 4:35know about this, Trump derangement syndrome crowd, the
- 4:39district attorney the in question in Manhattan, she
- 4:43actually ran for that office on the premise that she was going
- 4:47to charge Donald Trump with a crime.
- 4:50And she said she was willing to change laws and statutes to get
- 4:54Done and it does appear that she has managed to do that, at least
- 4:58enough to get a grand jury indictment.
- 5:00And I think it's really important to point out that a
- 5:03grand jury indictment is not really proof of anything except
- 5:08that you know, you got indicted, the old adage is, you could
- 5:13indict a handstand, a ham sandwich, if you want to because
- 5:18a grand jury is more likely to come back with.
- 5:22Because the standard of evidence for A grand jury is probable
- 5:25cause right? Is there is there probable cause
- 5:30to bring this to trial, you know?
- 5:33And of course they even factor in to bring it to trial.
- 5:37Potentially means there could be a plea deal before trial but
- 5:41it's leverage for the District Attorney's to, to get those kind
- 5:46of plea deals or to bring controversial case to a trial.
- 5:51And so it's really easy to convince a grand jury To bring
- 5:55something to trial. So Trump being indicted doesn't
- 5:59prove or disprove anything. And that's really important to
- 6:03keep in mind, right? And I was, I was actually
- 6:06listening to Dan, bungee knows podcast early this morning and
- 6:11he made the point that, you know, a lot of people on our
- 6:17side. They do like to go with the
- 6:20whole owed. This is a deep State.
- 6:23Jason Born type conspiracy thing because that because that's, you
- 6:29know, sexy. It makes it seem edgy and
- 6:32whatnot. But what this is really I think
- 6:34he was crying. Potentially, there's a grain of
- 6:36truth, right? Maybe not the whole meaning, but
- 6:39certainly, there are people within intelligence agencies
- 6:42and, and everywhere else within the government that have a
- 6:45vested interest in trying to screw Trump particularly as he's
- 6:47running for president, like, oh, and that's the thing that they
- 6:50all want to deny, they act like they're being objective, but Oh,
- 6:54sure, everybody, everybody. But them.
- 6:57No, no. I was going to say everybody,
- 6:59but them sees through it now they see through it too, but
- 7:01it's politically advantageous to.
- 7:03Well the term is tactical ignorance.
- 7:06They are using tactical ignorance to try and pretend
- 7:11like they don't know. Oh no, this isn't about
- 7:14punishing. Our political enemies.
- 7:15No, no, nobody is above the law. Well, the thing of it is
- 7:20accepted that change the law. They literally are saying we
- 7:24will change the law to get this outcome.
- 7:28That's yeah, political Hatchet job, that's what that is.
- 7:32Well, the other thing that he was saying there to die, I've
- 7:36kind of been saying all weekend, is this doesn't have to be like
- 7:40some you know, deep State whole conspiracy thing because what
- 7:45the DNC wants is they Want they want Trump's mugshot so that
- 7:52they can so that they can post it and you know, use in TVs and
- 7:58commercials and you know, web banners and get the.
- 8:01Oh here's drum. Here's Trump's mugshot now look
- 8:06now and they now hero is fashion eyes right?
- 8:10Whatever, whatever anybody feels about the Santa's himself in the
- 8:13potential between a Faceoff from them and we've already talked
- 8:16about this last week on the show, right?
- 8:17Like, there's a lot. Are whatever anybody feels about
- 8:20that. From the left point of view,
- 8:22they smell that blood so to speak of that DeSantis faction
- 8:27and they are going to say, oh well, look at this.
- 8:30He's a, he's a filthy criminal and here you have DeSantis and
- 8:35he's a clean upstanding guy, they're going to push him and
- 8:38but that doesn't, that doesn't in my opinion, reflect
- 8:42necessarily on DeSantis himself, know what does reflect on him is
- 8:47that as of The last time I checked, which admittedly I
- 8:51haven't checked. Since this morning, he has had
- 8:54nothing to say about any of this and it would be politically
- 8:58expedient in my opinion. For him to say a citizen of my
- 9:01state is not going to be mistreated by the government.
- 9:06That's all he has to say. He doesn't have to say, I think
- 9:08Trump's innocent just, you know, we're not going to allow you to
- 9:13frog. March him out of Mar-A-Lago.
- 9:17Yeah, I mean that I mean that is kind of you know it is
- 9:23suspicious even for me and I'm, you know, I'm a mile of to
- 9:26Santos. It is kind of fishy that he
- 9:29hasn't said anything as of the recording of This podcast now,
- 9:34to play Devil's Advocate. Even though I could say that
- 9:38maybe he doesn't know what to say, maybe he's worried that
- 9:42whatever he says, is a trap. I can understand all that, but
- 9:46it's more important. Him to just say, look we're not
- 9:49going to let any abuse of the law happen to a citizen of my
- 9:51state and a friend because you know, they've had their
- 9:55disagreements, right? But they've all, he Trump is
- 9:57also campaign for him. And with him, I don't think that
- 10:01there's serious personal animosity between the two.
- 10:05That would be absurd to me. Well, even eaten my even, Mike
- 10:09Pence, who you know, former vice president Mike Pence, who from
- 10:14what I understand, you know it's kind of come out And maybe this
- 10:18is false. It's you know it's kind of come
- 10:19out that he in trouble I guess didn't exactly get along behind
- 10:23the scenes and even he you know, today said this was a Witch Hunt
- 10:31and that this was an abuse of power and very wrong because
- 10:37unless you're a Democrat, there's no political downside to
- 10:39doing that. And so if DeSantis is unsure
- 10:44Then he needs to realize that you know, and and come out.
- 10:48And if he's if it's any other reason than, there's good reason
- 10:51to be suspicious of him, if he's just unsure, I can actually
- 10:55understand that. Well, it was speaking of the
- 10:57Democrats though, it is interesting that you bring up
- 11:00the Democrats because I was So when the story broke I was
- 11:07actually I was actually out. I actually went out to breakfast
- 11:13on Saturday and I had my iPad with me so I was watching a news
- 11:20Max and just this you know the Saturday show and when the when
- 11:24the story broke and they actually had Barney Frank, my
- 11:30boy law My Boy Lollipop for you old Rush Limbaugh.
- 11:34Fans out there and even Barney Frank was saying that, you know,
- 11:40even as a Democrat, this was, you know, this was not, this was
- 11:47kind of unprecedented that the, you know, the former husband
- 11:52would get arrested and he didn't seem entirely sure that it was a
- 11:57good idea. And that's a, that's a Democrat
- 12:00saying that. So, He's he's also a Democrat.
- 12:07That, yeah, I personally despise being he's from my state, of
- 12:11course. Oh yeah.
- 12:14Oh yeah, I'm not. I'm not, I'm not saying like,
- 12:17he's on our side or whatnot, but no, no, you're saying the even
- 12:20Barney Frank. Isn't this stupid, right?
- 12:24That's why I wanted to point it out.
- 12:25It's it's absurd because Barney, Frank is one of the most far
- 12:30left people in Congress for fucking ever God.
- 12:33He stand there. Certainly, before I was born.
- 12:37Yeah. Well, I mean Barney Barney.
- 12:39Frank is also, you know, we were talking about the Connie last
- 12:44week, Barney. Frank is kind of the is one of
- 12:47the reasons why the whole thing is kind of messed up.
- 12:52So, mhm, Frank Dot and all that. Yeah.
- 12:56Yeah, I'm aware and, and more aware than most right that he,
- 13:00the, the usual ones that people know on a national level, Are
- 13:04like Nancy and Maxine Waters and and those people but Barney
- 13:08Frank is one of the most despicable people in Congress
- 13:13and even he's not despicable enough to try frog.
- 13:16Marching his political opponent in handcuffs over some really,
- 13:22really ridiculous stuff that would frankly giving payouts at
- 13:26all if that's what the problem is, giving payouts for
- 13:29inappropriate behavior. Congress.
- 13:32Better be fucking worried, then shouldn't they?
- 13:35If that can lead to you being frog-marched around there,
- 13:40they're all in a lot of trouble because how many of them can't
- 13:42keep their hands to them fucking selves?
- 13:46Yeah. Well I mean it's double it's
- 13:48double standards. Hmm.
- 13:51Barney Frank himself has some allegations with with let's just
- 13:55say younger men you know? And I'm not saying that any of
- 13:59it is necessarily true and their argument is that they say that
- 14:04because he's a open homosexual and that you know, but whatever
- 14:09that to me to me these victims that have come out and made
- 14:13these allegations You know, there's a story there and so he
- 14:19should maybe not want to see this kind of thing right now.
- 14:23It makes sense, right? They should all be really
- 14:28concerned if that's the state of thing.
- 14:30Also even if even if it's not right, even if we're not
- 14:33actually going after people that have actually made payouts but
- 14:36it's the other precedent that's now being set and I said this
- 14:39about the impeachment and I'm going to Triple say it about
- 14:42this. Is that okay?
- 14:45I've supported impeaching Joe Biden since before.
- 14:48He was president. Why?
- 14:50Well, because they impeached Trump.
- 14:52And now it's just a political thing.
- 14:53They impeach Trump because they just had enough votes for an
- 14:56impeachment. They knew that they couldn't get
- 14:58a conviction and they did it again so if we're just
- 15:00impeaching Presidents then okay um Peach our guy will impeach
- 15:04your guy that's politics now, right?
- 15:06And now we're going to do you arrest.
- 15:07Our guy will arrest your guy. Well okay then the moment Joe
- 15:11Biden's out of office. I want them in jail.
- 15:15Yeah well I mean so the last big cope on this dive heard because
- 15:19I do follow some. You know I like to see what the
- 15:22Enigma enemy canvas say. They're trying to like, like and
- 15:27Trump to Al Capone and you know, saying like, oh, you know, this
- 15:33is just like Al Capone, Al Capone, never actually got
- 15:36caught on it, any of the criminal things that he did, he
- 15:39got, he got caught on tax evasion, and this is this is a
- 15:44small thing, a, not even close right to what Trump and Al
- 15:49Capone are no where the investigations into Al Capone.
- 15:54Haven't got A fucking ounce of shit on the Mueller report.
- 15:58Well, I would also argue that, you know, the Al Capone
- 16:05actually, at the time, he had more power and influence over
- 16:11Chicago, right? He had, he had more, he had more
- 16:15political influence his time than Trump does right now.
- 16:20Right. Trump doesn't really have any
- 16:23like actual Political power. Other than you know certainly
- 16:28not the kind of political power to have the actual government
- 16:32and actual law enforcement cover up any like murders, right?
- 16:37Because that's what Al Capone Lake.
- 16:39But we gotta put this in frame is like Al Capone kills, people,
- 16:43many people at least 14 that were aware of.
- 16:46And didn't that wasn't. What took him down.
- 16:49But that's because why would the you know obviously murder is
- 16:55Only a state or County issue, how they handle the law
- 16:59enforcement of it. And so like, if the state and
- 17:02County officials are in his pocket, there's no chance that
- 17:05they're going to indict him for murder.
- 17:09Right. So you grease the right Palms.
- 17:12But Trump, trump is the most investigated person in America
- 17:19alive. Today, I would say, Yeah, I
- 17:22think I think that's a safe, assumption.
- 17:25Maybe second one, be Alex Jones, but yeah, Trump is definitely
- 17:32but even even Alex Jones versus Trump.
- 17:35Trump is orders of magnitude, more investigated than him
- 17:39because there's so many people digging into every corner to
- 17:42find anything and making shit up that they can just like you know
- 17:47it's silly, you know and we laugh at it but all the like the
- 17:50poopy diaper stuff that Out of the reply, guys do?
- 17:53Right is like AA. Peepee poo-poo, ha ha trumpy
- 17:56diaper, right? Like, even down to that, they
- 17:59there are people whose entire, you know, existence is looking
- 18:02at pictures of Trumps asked to see if they think he has a
- 18:05fucking diaper on. Yeah geez.
- 18:09Thanks and thanks for that Nick Fuentes.
- 18:12Very cool. Yeah.
- 18:15Where they're keeping the these specially abled employed you
- 18:19know? Well, well, you know, so, well,
- 18:23someone that someone has to. So, um, you know, if and if if
- 18:29anyone knows about, you know, Peak Optics, it's that guy.
- 18:34So, and and 17 investigated all of his finances.
- 18:38They investigated every business he's ever been part of, they've
- 18:41investigated all of his tax returns and what wasn't the tax
- 18:45return supposed to be? The big thing that was going to
- 18:47get them? Will we release the tax returns?
- 18:50Returns, why didn't they get them?
- 18:52Because the reality doesn't conform to their Vision.
- 18:56Their vision is, the Trump is an evil mob boss criminal and the
- 19:00reality is he's probably one of the most squeaky-clean people in
- 19:02the world and he kind of had to be to get to the position that
- 19:05he was in. Yeah.
- 19:07Well, ruthless sure. He was a ruthless businessman.
- 19:13He fucked tons of people over in the course of getting to where
- 19:16he got to nobody's denying that, but in terms of like illicit
- 19:22illegal activities, it seems like they come up pretty fucking
- 19:26short looking for that. Well.
- 19:29Yeah. And also, but also, if you, if
- 19:32you talk to any like real, you know, real estate Moguls in, in
- 19:38New York City and I actually have Have before that hole in
- 19:45that whole industry that Trump is in particularly in your city
- 19:49is Cutthroat yes a few years ago.
- 19:53People were saying oh you know Trump was involved with with the
- 19:58mob you know in construction. Well so was everybody so was
- 20:02everybody if he was he was involved in actually going to
- 20:07like war with them financially. He He was negotiating prices of
- 20:13property with them. He was, he was tougher than them
- 20:16in a lot of cases and that's why he came out on top.
- 20:19Yeah, well, so he dealt with the mob but not as a buddy as rise a
- 20:24business rival. Yeah.
- 20:27And in such, they also respected him because they knew he was a
- 20:32force to be reckoned with yeah. What?
- 20:34And he did. So without goons on the streets
- 20:37giving out beatings, right? Yeah, that's exactly what.
- 20:40That's exactly what Michael franzese the mob boss turned
- 20:46YouTuber said about him. I don't know if you've ever
- 20:50liked wasn't any of his podcast, he Nokia, he's actually, yeah,
- 20:55he-he's. He's a pretty, he's a, he's a
- 21:01he's a pretty interesting character.
- 21:02But yeah that's that is exactly what he said about Trump that
- 21:06he's actually like, you know, he basically he was better a
- 21:12negotiating been the moth than the mafia was but he but he also
- 21:17said at the time, when Trump was big in that game, all of the
- 21:20developers were were going to we're having to interact with
- 21:25the mob at some because the Bruns the Union's.
- 21:28Yes. So here's the thing for people
- 21:31that if your blue collar and you're listening right now, you
- 21:35know what the fuck I'm talking about.
- 21:36I don't have to explain it to you.
- 21:37But, like, anybody that's not worked in the blue collar
- 21:40construction or any industry like that, like doesn't realize
- 21:44like what the Union's really are, and kind of how they
- 21:46operate, but especially in New York, right?
- 21:50It is a very mob like organization in and of itself
- 21:53and then when you have an area that has a mob, they're going to
- 21:56control That right? Because it's politically
- 21:58advantageous and financially advantageous.
- 22:00Yeah, so the mob controls all your average construction
- 22:06workers in the Union. In terms of being able to send
- 22:09them to job sites. They can even, you know, hey,
- 22:13you know, you're a big strong guy.
- 22:15You work for a living? Why?
- 22:16Why don't we give you a couple Grand and you go break his legs
- 22:19over there like they can recruit them for things, they can get
- 22:22them to create picket lines and be actual physical muscle on the
- 22:26the ground without again, just being, you know, a bun in a suit
- 22:30that beats people up. And yes, this is the dirty
- 22:33underbelly of New York politics. That's why it's disgusting,
- 22:37right? And Trump in that environment,
- 22:40through sheer force of will out-negotiated these unions that
- 22:45were run by the mob. Yeah, well they are they are the
- 22:49other argument I've heard as well, that's only because he had
- 22:52his daddy's money to do so and my response is well, he made
- 22:58good use of his of his father's money.
- 23:00Then that's why. I mean that idea to me is kind
- 23:06of really sick this idea that you're not allowed to build off
- 23:11your generational wealth. I like, I don't understand why
- 23:16people get into that mindset if They're not a commie, of course
- 23:19you can excuse, the far left for that but I've heard, you know,
- 23:23center-left and even some people on the center-right.
- 23:25Save it that kind of stuff. Well, yeah.
- 23:28And I've even heard Libertarians say that kind of stuff.
- 23:31Yeah, which is weird. Because like, when I, when I was
- 23:34growing up, like getting generational wealth, and having,
- 23:37and then having your kids build off, that generational wealth is
- 23:41that's the dream. Yeah, that is, that is the
- 23:44American dream. Personified, I think that's the
- 23:48human dream. For your kids to do better than
- 23:51yet, right? Like, as a father with a, with a
- 23:54young son, you know, an elementary school, son, wake.
- 23:58All I hope to do is live long enough to pass down like, you
- 24:02know, my you no morals and values and leave him with
- 24:07something behind so that he can do better than I did.
- 24:11Yeah, at least try and so like yeah, resenting somebody for
- 24:15that is, it's a really disingenuous argument because
- 24:19that I would be like, oh well, so you plan to, you know what,
- 24:22leave your kids. Nothing probably a lot of them
- 24:26are just probably going to leave their kids debt.
- 24:28I would imagine. Well, well, well, well, a lot of
- 24:31reverse reverse mortgage the house and fucking take off to
- 24:35Vegas, right? Well, a lot of these, a lot of
- 24:39these, you know, not not all of them, but like a lot of these,
- 24:44even conservative. Even a lot of these conservative
- 24:47boomers are like, well, I had to pull Myself up from my
- 24:51bootstraps. Oh my you know like I'm sorry
- 24:54Boomers, I'm sorry but that narrative isn't true.
- 24:59You were gifted the most prosperous and Wealthy time in
- 25:02human history and you sucked every last dollar out of the
- 25:06system and you left your kids not even the home because you
- 25:10sold the home back to the bank so that you could go on a
- 25:13cruise. So no you didn't pull yourself
- 25:15up by the bootstraps actually, the greatest generation your
- 25:19parents Built everything for you and you shit all over it and you
- 25:24left us with the bill. Yeah.
- 25:27Now granted I can I can agree that art the audible dot, all.
- 25:33Not all but most. Well yeah.
- 25:35And I mean, what does do the Millennials and gen Z have
- 25:42issues? Yes.
- 25:44Yeah. Oh yeah, but they won't be.
- 25:48So if I'm on your show long enough, they won't be safe from
- 25:51my criticisms either, trust me. Well, what will connects either?
- 25:57Well, it wasn't though, it's funny because we talked at like,
- 26:01we talked like, you know, in our culture, we talk at like, you
- 26:06know, transitioning and I identify as Ivan what?
- 26:10I don't know, I know who chooses to identify as Jenna X and you
- 26:15have to acknowledge me because that's how I feel I am.
- 26:20I'm a janitor I haven't yet excerpt there.
- 26:22I don't know. It's weird how they Define it
- 26:25because you'll see different People use different years and
- 26:28that's because that, that kind of categorization is actually
- 26:32missing the point. So let me ask you this, what
- 26:35generation would you consider your parents?
- 26:39I mean, definitely Baby Boomers then then you're a millennial my
- 26:46dad. Well, my, my dad was born in
- 26:49like 61 and my mom, my mom was born in 1957 because, because
- 26:56how it actually, like, pans out in reality is like the greatest
- 27:00Generation birth the Boomers. And then, and there was a the
- 27:04Jonesy generation or whatever the fuck they call it.
- 27:07That was birthed by the silent generation.
- 27:09Between right? And then it but the the Boomers
- 27:12is the important because it's kind of the starting point of
- 27:14all this the Boomers kids are the Millennials, right?
- 27:20Technically. And it but the the kid the Gen
- 27:24acts, right? Are the there from like the
- 27:28Jonesy generation and Gen X are the parents of the Zoomers.
- 27:32And so like these two generations kind of crisscross
- 27:35each other if that makes sense as we go.
- 27:37Yeah. And so like Like, that's why
- 27:40you'll see such a massively difference in the values of
- 27:44Millennials versus Zoomers or Gen X versus Boomers because
- 27:48they're actually like from kind of opposing Generations
- 27:51throughout the system, but there was a chink in the armor is that
- 27:54the Boomers was such a large generation?
- 27:57That they completely enveloped everything and they took power.
- 28:01And and a lot of the Spheres very, very early on as a
- 28:08generation like, When they, when they turned 18, they were
- 28:12already taken over the college campuses.
- 28:13That's what the hippie movement was.
- 28:15It was Boomers asserting their political influence and they've
- 28:19never stopped, and they've only gained power and they've never
- 28:22given it up either. So Gen X also, Gen X had kind of
- 28:27a predisposition towards not wanting to get involved.
- 28:32Right. A lot of them, a lot of the best
- 28:34people of Gen X went on to be like like a Dolittle last week
- 28:39guests. Great great show.
- 28:41By the way, was a perfect example.
- 28:44They went into business, they went into the private sector.
- 28:47They went into things that were moving things forward in
- 28:52technology and finance and things like that, you know.
- 28:56And of course, the cynical version 2 is like, a lot of Gen
- 28:59X just kind of coast along. Ang and didn't amount to
- 29:02anything, but like that, ignores that there was some really Heavy
- 29:06Hitters in Gen X as well. You're talking about your Gates,
- 29:09is whether people like him or not, that was discussed on the
- 29:12do little puck, watch the do a little episode, if you haven't
- 29:15audience. Really?
- 29:18But so, these Gen-X people kind of didn't didn't go towards
- 29:23public policy and Civics. They went towards business and,
- 29:27and technology and things like that.
- 29:30And but Wouldn't have mattered because they really they
- 29:34couldn't outvote the Boomer block and they had conflicting
- 29:37values. So Gen-X never took power at all
- 29:41and they were kind of the complacent generation in that
- 29:44way. They did take some power and
- 29:46finance and technology and Silicon Valley is a product of
- 29:50basically that that Gen-X technology branch.
- 29:54And so that's the only Power base that the Boomers didn't
- 29:58completely control. I would say and that's why it.
- 30:01Tends to be more radical left than most of the other
- 30:04establishment. Because it comes from a younger
- 30:09demographic, primary, right? And so, then the Millennials, as
- 30:13the children of the Boomers, we did get raised with a lot of
- 30:17those Boomer isms like bootstraps and back in my day,
- 30:22you know, kids where, you know, get spanked and they would
- 30:26behave and da-da-da-da-da. Like we were raised with the
- 30:29Boomers kind of worldview, but also the Boomers problems,
- 30:34because the Boomers as a generation were, Like
- 30:37exponentially, higher in drug, and alcohol abuse.
- 30:41They were exponentially higher in divorce suicide than any
- 30:45previous generation. And this is the thing.
- 30:48I don't see, people talk about often but that runs off to their
- 30:52children, which are the Millennials and that same
- 30:56Dynamic is happening with the Gen X and the Zoomers in a way
- 31:00where the Gen X is raised them with their values, which tend to
- 31:04be more extreme to the left than the Boomers values, right?
- 31:09And that's, that's why there's a massive conflict.
- 31:12I think of Zoomers and Millennials, as Millennials were
- 31:14raised, frankly, more conservatively.
- 31:16Even the leftist ones. Well, the other thing too, and I
- 31:21actually explained this to you. And again, I'm generalizations
- 31:27are not an attack on your favorite person, right?
- 31:30I have Boomers, I love to just as much as everybody else does.
- 31:34Yeah, I don't want to, I don't want to be like Like Oh I'm
- 31:37demonizing a whole group of people.
- 31:39I'm just trying to explain right demographics.
- 31:42Yeah and and that's the case for both of us.
- 31:45Well, to be like one of the most Stark differences between us,
- 31:48you and I as Millennials and say, gen Z like mmm, I'm just
- 31:55going to use I'm going to use Medicare fembot as an example of
- 32:02roof of this. Someone's going to clip that.
- 32:08Yeah well hopefully it's hopefully it's and contacts.
- 32:16I you and I both grew up with you.
- 32:20And I both grew up with the internet but we weren't born.
- 32:24We weren't born into the internet age, right?
- 32:27We kind of grew up with it. In fact, I was an outlier Niche
- 32:32nerd that got on the internet before everybody else.
- 32:36In even, I am less like born into it than they are like,
- 32:40right? I got online and BBs boards in
- 32:42the early 90s and it still amazes me how like Like
- 32:45terminally online, a lot of summers are, but it's not
- 32:49surprising considering they've been bombarded with it since
- 32:52well. Whereas like I I think that
- 32:57medical from bought and you know, Faith Vickers in the
- 33:01Zoomers, like I remember world before Facebook and before the
- 33:06social media age of the internet, I don't know.
- 33:10You know, I don't they might because they're there and as
- 33:13haven't been generally I don't know many Zoomers.
- 33:16Don't I don't know many Zoomers and many, you know, gel for
- 33:22whatever your, you know, whatever your son's generation
- 33:25is jenipa. Yeah, they were all born into.
- 33:29They were born into an era where social media already existed and
- 33:35social media. I think that's the difference,
- 33:37actually. Yeah.
- 33:38See, we were born into the internet.
- 33:40They They were born into social media and social media is a
- 33:43completely different animal. Yeah.
- 33:45The very notion that you would like, name yourself and give
- 33:50out, like, your location. On the Internet is, like what?
- 33:55When it first came when Facebook and like Myspace and stuff,
- 33:58first came out, my generation. Absolutely all used aliases.
- 34:04Because it was like ingrained in us that you don't, you know, you
- 34:08say ASL, right? But like location, it's like
- 34:12you're a JS. We have to explain in case of
- 34:14Zoomers, watching asls age sex, location used to shorthand that
- 34:19to people because we were all Anonymous, right?
- 34:22We were just screen names on the internet and location generally
- 34:27meant like The northeast or the Southwest or even, maybe your
- 34:32state. Yeah.
- 34:34But no more than that ever and and many times people would lie
- 34:39about their location for the same reasons.
- 34:43So, we were raised until I can on culture even before Lake had
- 34:48a term like that, like we all preferred, you know, to be
- 34:51screen names. Because that's how it was.
- 34:53And we were told that if we weren't, it was a bad thing.
- 34:55It was scared. Yeah.
- 34:58So social me like social media for me for a long time.
- 35:04Wasn't me going on Facebook. It was going on comic book, web
- 35:09forums like actual, right? For Ones which I would go on a
- 35:14form for a specific topic. There'd be off topic like boards
- 35:18there me. Yeah, you could talk about a
- 35:20couple other things but the primary reason that you go,
- 35:22there was to talk to other people, they shared an interest
- 35:25and it could be anything from, like you said, comic books to
- 35:28coding to fucking jerking off. Like there's there's a forum for
- 35:34everything somewhere, I'm sure and people talking.
- 35:38Yeah. And that's how the internet and
- 35:40everybody was just a screen name and that's how the internet.
- 35:42Basically used to be ten came like the Geo City's era, where
- 35:47everybody had their own web page that was like tacky and full of
- 35:51like, my favorite band and all this shit, which led to my
- 35:55space, where they made like a dedicated page in a kind of
- 35:59connected Network. And that was, you know, people
- 36:03want to say, Facebook people and say Twitter, but like my space
- 36:07really changed everything because that's the template
- 36:10still to this day where you You have the interconnected network
- 36:14of pages where people can cross communicate with each other.
- 36:18Yeah, instead of on a specific topic just life in general.
- 36:25Yeah, I mean and I think the other thing too is, I mean along
- 36:30with social media the smartphone right accelerated it because now
- 36:36instead of having a setup of computer and sit down and you
- 36:40know, learn operating system that you might not know a lot
- 36:43of, a lot of people even in my generation really never touched
- 36:47computers. So they didn't like the
- 36:50millennial generation. I would say, probably at least a
- 36:53third of them didn't get online until It's like at all right.
- 36:57Yeah, that that's even a lot of my friends still, you know, like
- 37:04they weren't really online until they had a smartphone.
- 37:08So I and and even then, a lot of them will still keep it
- 37:12minimalist. Where they'll have a Twitter,
- 37:14but or a Facebook, but they're not posting a lot and it's
- 37:18because they're their family bellezza.
- 37:20Yeah, you gotta go on because all the old people are on
- 37:22Facebook, right? So your family members, I got on
- 37:24Facebook Looking sure, pictures of the kid.
- 37:29I have an excuse out. I got banned.
- 37:34I amazingly, I haven't gotten banned from Facebook, but that's
- 37:39because I, that's because I never go on there.
- 37:42So I really didn't post a lot. They just they, I was at
- 37:47straight Pride Boston, and that was apparently fucking nuclear
- 37:52offense. I, I used to put, I used to post
- 37:56on Facebook like back when I was in high school.
- 37:59A lot. But like that was bad.
- 38:02That was also, you know, back when I was a stupid teenager and
- 38:07when I was in high school like there was a whole thing of like
- 38:10relationship. Statuses were like a whole thing
- 38:14and it was it was pretty fucking.
- 38:18I mean I don't I am thankful that.
- 38:21I have been any committed long-term relationship.
- 38:24So long as to never have to really think about statuses as a
- 38:29thing. thing except except but because Facebook nuked me from
- 38:34Oregon orbit, deleted every picture of me and every tag of
- 38:37me, they also changed my wife status to single Oh shit, they
- 38:46unperson to me from my own marriage.
- 38:49Facebook was really mad and that's why I don't use their
- 38:54platform, you know. Wow.
- 39:00Yeah. Well the well, this whole thing
- 39:02of like of people like you need to you need to date more salmon.
- 39:07They may be right, but their solution is just get on Tinder.
- 39:12Like, no, I'm not, I'm not doing, I refused to get on
- 39:17Tinder. I refused to get on Tick Tock.
- 39:21Now, that you'll have to forgive me, but on this one, I have to
- 39:25rely on what young guys tell me about that, but as I understand
- 39:29it Tinder is a waste of time for men, anyway, because it is
- 39:34women, women. They like to like swipe and they
- 39:38like to get messages back to make them feel good.
- 39:41But the And you'll hear this from like the the big towels and
- 39:44the in cell types that oh well there you know the 80% of them
- 39:49are hooking up with like the 10% of the top 10% of guys.
- 39:53There's truth to that but the vast majority of women on Tinder
- 39:57and there are studies to back this up to but I mostly get it
- 40:01from like anecdotes from what young guys talk about.
- 40:03They're not responding back and they're blocking most of them
- 40:08and they're just really looking for like validation.
- 40:10Like I'm hot because all these guys liked my picture.
- 40:15Right? And and but so, am I saying that
- 40:20online dating is is out of Question.
- 40:23No, I actually know people would have gotten married and quite
- 40:28happy that way. Just The Tick Tock.
- 40:31I'm sorry. Tinder.
- 40:33People seem to put a lot of stock in it.
- 40:36And whether people say, it's a hook-up app, you know, just a
- 40:40casual sex or a dating app to like meet people.
- 40:43Either way, it does seem to not be the ideal or very efficient
- 40:47at it, know it well. Plus, they have a horrible
- 40:50interface, which from a nerd perspective.
- 40:53Also, you know, I wouldn't know. I know that there's the like
- 41:00swipe left and right gimmick and like, that's actually really
- 41:04smart, right? It throws back to like, remember
- 41:08hot or not.com. Yeah, yeah, that.
- 41:11Well, that's that's what it is. It's yeah.
- 41:15Yeah. It's hot or not for a generation
- 41:18that claims that hot or not is bad somehow and it's right.
- 41:24It's hot or not, and sometimes people get laid.
- 41:28Yeah, you know, they reinvented the wheel but no, I, it does
- 41:35seem like it's a Tough out there for young guy, but I am quite
- 41:41glad to not have to navigate it, but I will say this.
- 41:44It wasn't easy when I was that age.
- 41:46Either one. No young sing.
- 41:48Well one and one that's thick. Is it?
- 41:50Never is for an it for an agenda, for any generation.
- 41:55And if any, if any young guys, having trouble with women are
- 41:58fucking watching this. And I hope not, I think our
- 42:00audience are a bunch of alpha Chad's, but just just talk to
- 42:04girls just say hi. Start there.
- 42:06Yeah just trust me on that when you see a girl at the cashier
- 42:10you know just just hey how you doing?
- 42:13Nice day. Right?
- 42:15Yeah, simple. Keep it simple that will build
- 42:17your confidence. It'll go a long way and just
- 42:19trust me. Yeah, I mean small talk, it's
- 42:24worked for its work for me. So also also Pro tip to do not
- 42:32do not spray it out about politics as like as like an
- 42:36opening opening line. I bring that up specifically
- 42:39because listen, I, I did that when I was a teenager, it
- 42:47didn't. I saw you from across the room
- 42:49and you, I wanted you to be my Cats wife.
- 42:55Yeah, you gotta have a little fucking tactics.
- 42:57You gotta girls like a guy who's funny girls?
- 43:00Like a guy who's fun and girls like a guy who's nice.
- 43:03Yeah, girl yeah, girls like all that.
- 43:06But let me tell you girls are not interested in.
- 43:10Well, most girls I should say are not interested, at least not
- 43:13on the first day of well, where should libertarian economic?
- 43:18You know? Velocity girls.
- 43:21Pro tip girls aren't interested in politics and if they are,
- 43:24it's a red flag. And that means yeah, even if she
- 43:27had interest even if she's of your political stripe that's
- 43:31still a red flag because girls naturally aren't political they
- 43:38have to be brought into it and it's assignment maybe there
- 43:41might be more going on there and it's something you should be
- 43:44concerned about because women in general end up falling, very
- 43:48close in the political Spectrum to their husbands or their
- 43:51significant other. Yeah, I can, I can, I can tell
- 43:55you from experience. Going to a few like, you know,
- 43:59young Republican conventions. Yeah.
- 44:02That is definitely, that is definitely true and the more
- 44:08extreme her politics. Are the bigger, the red flag.
- 44:11Well, yeah, that and that's pretty much like not to get to
- 44:16off-topic but there's a reason why the hot and crazy.
- 44:19But we've already gotten that. We were supposed to be talking
- 44:21about Trump getting arrested. We've been off topic.
- 44:26Well, what else, what else there is.
- 44:31They're all I'd say about Trump getting.
- 44:33I mean, they're really, I think we already yelled it.
- 44:37I think we're now waiting to see if it's real.
- 44:41I think the important thing was to lead with that.
- 44:43It's an anonymous source in the charge, is something stemming
- 44:48from an incident that had already been settled and my an
- 44:51indictment is not a conviction. But Other than that.
- 44:54What else can we say? Well actually, I got one.
- 44:59I think that there is a faction within the Democrats and it's
- 45:03probably the people doing this that want Trump to win.
- 45:09The whole election actually. Do you want to hear why?
- 45:13Yeah, have I got your attention. Yeah.
- 45:16Well, you've got my attention and you've got the I hope we've
- 45:19got the audience's attention. I hope so.
- 45:22Well, it's because Joe Biden refuses to not run and they're
- 45:29willing to Cost the election to him because they know this will
- 45:36martyr Trump essentially. Right.
- 45:38You know, in a metaphorical sense they're they're treating
- 45:42him like a martyr, right? And they know that that's going
- 45:45to Garner support for him, and they know that at that point,
- 45:48he's probably going to win a general election.
- 45:51If they don't know this, then they're stupid.
- 45:53But I think there's a faction of them at least the know this.
- 45:57And that faction comes from the far left because Joe Biden, Is
- 46:01an extreme enough for them. Anyway, he's refusing to step
- 46:05down. Essentially and they figure if
- 46:11they can crash Joe Biden from not being re-elected and he
- 46:15loses the rematch to Trump, they can make the case that it was
- 46:18caused by his liberal policies and how they could fix that is
- 46:25with more socialistic ones. And so they're going to try and
- 46:29reform and take over the party that actually makes a lot of
- 46:35sense. I'm pretty sure that it's true.
- 46:39I've seen stockings of them that suggest this to be the case, I
- 46:45can't say who's a part of this faction, or if any of them have
- 46:49the power to do so. But it does seem like the
- 46:53charges are stemming from, that kind of mentality, rather than
- 46:56a, we're going to stop him, you know, that the irony is, they
- 47:01might want to stop Joe Biden because the chaos, that that
- 47:04would cause mail. Allow them to take control.
- 47:08Also factor in mind in this kind of Harkens right back to.
- 47:11What we were talking about. 2024 will be the first election where
- 47:15the boomers are not, the majority voting demographic.
- 47:20The Millennials are. That changes things because
- 47:24Boomers have been a reliable Democrat.
- 47:26Now, they're still there, you know, there's just less of them
- 47:30than had been previously and more Millennials voting than had
- 47:33been previously. That's the difference 20:28,
- 47:37comes along that divides even bigger. 20:32 boomers are
- 47:44smaller demographic at that point than all the other major
- 47:47Generations because even at that point Jen Alpha will be a voting
- 47:52age. So, the decline of the Boomers
- 47:56Power is coming, because father time comes for us all, but it's
- 48:03going to make the ability for like, the far left.
- 48:05Again, I like I said, that motivated by that kind of Gen X.
- 48:10Zoomer radicalism, right? Can then make the case, look, we
- 48:15let the Neo lives have Biden. We didn't even want him, but we
- 48:18let them have and to take down Trump and look what happened.
- 48:21The second time he refused. Step aside and what happened?
- 48:27Orange man beat him and now we got a fascist in office.
- 48:32So we need to reform this Democrat party and we need to
- 48:35get rid of those Neo lips. Yeah, we we need to get Bill
- 48:39Maher out of here when it. And again, that's why I'm saying
- 48:42racist anyway. Well, and and that's and that's
- 48:45why I'm saying it doesn't matter if Trump actually gets like a
- 48:49rested, what the Dems want they want?
- 48:53They want At that moment they want their mug shot of trump.
- 48:56I don't know anything I don't like they do you're not wrong
- 49:01but I don't even think the interests matters or an
- 49:03indictment at this point, all they needed to do was the rumor
- 49:07itself. That's why I hark on that.
- 49:09It's a fucking anonymous source. Yeah, because an anonymous
- 49:14source and the last few years, if you've been paying attention,
- 49:17sometimes means bullshit. Oh yes, flat-out, bullshit and
- 49:23and and that's not just a recent thing.
- 49:28Can I can I give the biggest spoiler in like American
- 49:31politics history? Wait, please do deep throat.
- 49:35Wasn't a real person. Deep throat was Woodward and
- 49:39Bernstein. They made it up themselves to
- 49:44get a fucking warrant to get fucking investigations going,
- 49:48Anonymous sources are cover for bullshit.
- 49:54Sorry yeah. Sorry to go off on that one, but
- 49:58it matters a lot that the most influential and important
- 50:01anonymous source in American legal history.
- 50:05Was a figment of the writers imagination.
- 50:09In order to con the public into getting an investigation going
- 50:14which was essentially a Witch Hunt against Richard Nixon.
- 50:18Thank you. You I see I've I actually held
- 50:22that opinion for year. Why not the opinion that Richard
- 50:25Nixon? Did nothing wrong.
- 50:30Opening trade with China but that's the only one that I
- 50:32would. Well yeah that but who could
- 50:35have well what we had predicted okay that but like in regards to
- 50:40what I'm I'm sorry I should have specified when it came when it
- 50:44comes to water day. Nixon did nothing right?
- 50:49Nothing wrong. And and like for a lot of people
- 50:52don't know the history of course, G Gordon, Liddy famously
- 50:55took the fall for it and under oath And in Congress admitted
- 50:59that it was his plan, his idea. I don't know why that kind of
- 51:04gets forgotten. They did they purposely didn't
- 51:07tell him, they didn't tell Richard Nixon what they were
- 51:09doing because they were concerned, it might be illegal
- 51:12so they didn't want to implicate him.
- 51:13And so they, you know, Rogue government agents went off the
- 51:18reservation. Where have we heard that before?
- 51:22Seems a pretty common refrain these days.
- 51:25Yeah. Well I mean right, you know
- 51:28Rogue government agents that's like every Hollywood movie ever
- 51:32pretty. Yeah.
- 51:34Well that's like every Mass shooter and knows no.
- 51:36Sorry, it's too far. Oh, oh, we're cans and off.
- 51:43Oh shit. Where cancelled off YouTube?
- 51:46For sure that what we already were speaking, YouTube, the see
- 51:54how I segue there. I was perfect.
- 51:59So a Paso, a pal, a Max. You you, what you yourself?
- 52:06Have a nice little show on the internet called cringing over
- 52:09coffee, but as you explained, to me you're backing up things.
- 52:16Because YouTube is new CEO, and this is why Said, a few weeks
- 52:22ago, like when it comes to YouTube, booting me off the
- 52:26platform. I'm not really worried about it
- 52:28because I feel like it was going to happen anyway, especially
- 52:33with this is fish with this new policy coming around in this new
- 52:37guy, which is basically, as I understand it, you can now be
- 52:45banned phrase. Ali.
- 52:46Criticizing other creators. Yeah, they also have warm, so,
- 52:51they're taking a page. Out of the twitch book which is
- 52:53to specifically ban create what they call Creator on Creator
- 52:58harassment. Now the terms you can go read
- 53:02the terms of service on this yourself.
- 53:04The change is now in effect but basically this means for example
- 53:10I'm going to use the most famous one.
- 53:12Of course, we sometimes laugh at the second most famous one but
- 53:16we're going to talk about Christian.
- 53:17You can't criticize Christian on YouTube anymore for Nothing
- 53:22because he has a YouTube. So that's Creator on Creator
- 53:28harassment. So if you show videos of him
- 53:31doing stupid shit you could potentially have your channel
- 53:34band, and it will be fully like legitimate as far as YouTube is
- 53:38concerned. I know a lot of times people
- 53:41argue about this, but like you have to remember, I know nobody
- 53:44likes hearing it because it's what people say, but it's it is
- 53:48a private company and they can do that.
- 53:50And that's why we live in such a great age, where we can be over
- 53:54here on Odyssey or over. Ron rumble, or over here on your
- 53:59on Spotify. See you're bigger than me.
- 54:01Even iTunes, whatever. Right.
- 54:04There's other places for you to go and share your content
- 54:10without having to worry about that.
- 54:12Because yeah, look as a guy that does all cow content on cringing
- 54:16over cough, that's basically what I do.
- 54:18I don't cover the big ones like Christian or Ethan Ralph.
- 54:22I have my own little stable of weirdos that are funny very
- 54:25funny. And you some of them don't hate
- 54:29me. Some of them don't consider it
- 54:31harassment because they have a sense of humor.
- 54:34Big shout-out to dice golden specifically, who's taken a lot
- 54:38of my criticisms and and use them to change his content for
- 54:41the better. So know what I think I do is a
- 54:46service I believe in bullying. So I don't believe it's
- 54:49harassment but I do think it's bullying and I think that
- 54:52bullying is a positive force in society, you know, II I actually
- 54:58believe the same thing go over the line.
- 55:02Oh yeah. You know before anybody oh Max
- 55:05things. You know, this instance of
- 55:08bullying where they killed a kid is bad, not like perfect
- 55:10example, the the jocks at the school in Columbine who raped
- 55:17Eric Harris in the shower, like that bullying bit too fucking
- 55:21far. And it's look, I'm not saying he
- 55:24was justified in what he did, he sir Certainly was not.
- 55:29But it makes you a lot more understandable.
- 55:33Yeah, you know, any man, who, you know, could picture getting
- 55:37gang-raped in a shower at 16 years old, can maybe understand
- 55:41the fucking anger behind it if not the actual actions.
- 55:45Yeah. But but then there, but then
- 55:47there's the flip side which again, goes to gen Z and the
- 55:51social media which is no blowing at all.
- 55:54Which is he posted a mean meme of me on on Facebook.
- 56:00I'm going to commit suicide now because of, but it's more than
- 56:04that, right? It's like not your opinion is
- 56:07bad. Oh, this is harassment.
- 56:13Which you know what I've said this before.
- 56:16We're living in a time where the two opposite extremes get
- 56:20magnified because it's the internet.
- 56:23And, you know, that's just the way thing to paraphrase a clean
- 56:30version of Tyler, the Creator. How is cyberbullying?
- 56:33Real just get off the computer. Yeah, just just walk away and
- 56:39then still true and this is I think a thing that people
- 56:42forget, you know, I was out. I'd like I told you, I was like,
- 56:45oh yeah, Sam I gotta do my run, and then, and then we'll catch
- 56:49up and do the show, you know, and I'm out on my run, my God,
- 56:52it's a beautiful day. I even was laughing during your
- 56:56intro because it's from Sunny South Florida.
- 56:57And I'm like, yeah, today I'm from Sunny Massachusetts where
- 57:01it's a whopping 50 and that to me is a fucking Heat Beautiful
- 57:07day. I'm out there walking saying
- 57:09saying hi little old ladies and, and just being just out in the
- 57:13world. I had my phone on because I
- 57:16listen to music but I keep it in my pocket, you know?
- 57:18I'm, I'm detached, I'm out there.
- 57:21Enjoying myself or sometimes, you know, take my kids to the
- 57:24park. All I'm saying is all I'm saying
- 57:27this, we spend way too much time worrying about shit in the
- 57:31little idiot box in front of us and it actually has less of an
- 57:34impact on your day-to-day life. Then you might think and if you
- 57:38just kind of turn the idiot box off sometimes you might find
- 57:42yourself with a little less stress.
- 57:44Yeah. Now and that and that and that
- 57:47kind of goes back high point of that is that is why and I love
- 57:53folks for those of us and I love you but I'm not going to name
- 57:59any one specific. Well you can turn off the idiot
- 58:01box right after the Whitfield report.
- 58:03Well yeah, well I went to turn it back on.
- 58:06Sweet. Well, I well, I love the folks
- 58:09that listen to this but show but this is exactly why a few of the
- 58:15people who were DEA who were like tweeting at me and dming me
- 58:19all panicked. Oh my God, Sam Trump is getting
- 58:23arrested. You need to get.
- 58:25You need to go on stream and talk about this right now and it
- 58:28was like Saturday morning I was like I was a calm down, you
- 58:33know, there's nothing to talk about.
- 58:35It's a Saturday morning. Running.
- 58:37I'm going to enjoy my weekend. You go enjoy yours.
- 58:41It was a Saturday morning after st.
- 58:42Patty's day. Aren't you supposed to be like,
- 58:45like, not. Not you in particular, but just
- 58:47generally. Aren't you supposed to be like a
- 58:49halo over song? Oh, oh, oh, oh, I will proudly
- 58:53say it. Like, I had three kinases.
- 58:55I would hungover, but like, I went and got like a.
- 58:59In fact, the re I never got up at, like, 7:00 in the morning on
- 59:03a Saturday. That day, the reason why I did
- 59:05was because I I went out to get a breakfast sandwich and that's
- 59:10when I, you know, saw the news and it wasn't like it wasn't
- 59:15like one of those things. Like, oh my God, I need to talk
- 59:17about this, you know, immediately, it was one of those
- 59:19things like, hmm. Well, this should be interesting
- 59:22to see how it goes. So, you know, if it, if this was
- 59:28something like night, if I kill another 9/11 had happened, then
- 59:32yeah, maybe that would be a bit more dire, but, you know, Like
- 59:39this whole Trump thing might not even, you know, come to
- 59:43fruition, we just don't know. Yeah, that's why I was really
- 59:46conservative about talking about the topic to start with because
- 59:50it could literally just be that they spread this rumor.
- 59:53And it's not they like they don't necessarily think they
- 59:56have something to get the indictment because gotta
- 59:59remember hasn't gone to the grand jury.
- 1:00:01At least not the last I checked, they it certainly didn't go to
- 1:00:03them on the weekend, right, right.
- 1:00:06So We didn't really have anything to go off of.
- 1:00:11So maybe they just maybe they just put this out to get this,
- 1:00:15like, narrative going, we don't really know anything.
- 1:00:18Except it was an anonymous source.
- 1:00:19And again, I urge everybody listening to take any anonymous
- 1:00:23source ever for anything with a grain of salt.
- 1:00:27Yep. As much as I like being
- 1:00:31anonymous, the problem is, it's really hard to verify an
- 1:00:34anonymous source, you independently, right?
- 1:00:38So the journalists who puts up the scoop, they talked to the
- 1:00:41source and they know that this is the thing that's going on,
- 1:00:43right? But like, for you or me, well,
- 1:00:45we can't go talk to him because they're Anonymous, so we can't
- 1:00:48really verify it. Yeah, well, and one.
- 1:00:54So, getting back to this whole YouTube.
- 1:00:57The thing though, Because this does, this does all kind time?
- 1:01:02What do you think about what do you think got the new CEO?
- 1:01:06And, you know, that's like taking over 40's in in terms,
- 1:01:12like people have said, he's in nft guy, I don't really know
- 1:01:16much about him, but what I can say is the first interaction I
- 1:01:21as like a Creator have had with him is him Banning a bunch of my
- 1:01:26friends and striking their video.
- 1:01:29Was all immediately under the guise of a new quote unquote
- 1:01:33harassment policy, which doesn't meet the definition of any other
- 1:01:37form of harassment. By the way, certainly not legal
- 1:01:41harassment. And so again, I stand by the
- 1:01:44fact that what I do on cringing over coffee is not harassment.
- 1:01:49I've never encourage anybody to harass anybody and it's all in
- 1:01:54good fun. And I actually encourage And my
- 1:01:59guys to make their lives better, they just don't listen which is
- 1:02:02kind of what makes it funny, right?
- 1:02:05I'm kind of a baby, that's what they don't get.
- 1:02:07I'm the baby face to the audience who understands what's
- 1:02:09going on and there they come off as a heel because they are like
- 1:02:15don't take Obviously good advice and think that I'm out to like
- 1:02:18ruin their life because I laughed at the thing, they said,
- 1:02:22that's right harassment. Again, it is bullying bullying.
- 1:02:27This is my like catchphrase. On the issue.
- 1:02:30Bullying is societies immuno response to aberrant Behavior.
- 1:02:37Yeah so yeah, so you come you come from the gym, medic her
- 1:02:40school of that then then too I guess.
- 1:02:44Yeah I would say. I agree with mr.
- 1:02:47Maddock her on quite a few things regarding that as well as
- 1:02:50that the best thing to do to the elites is laugh at them.
- 1:02:52He's very spot on on that one. But um, the idea being, is that
- 1:02:58Society itself? This happened like kids pick on
- 1:03:02other kids naturally because the other kid is different than
- 1:03:05them. And it's not, it's not for the
- 1:03:09bad. And yes, sometimes ya like it,
- 1:03:11like a guy, like you could, you know, there's there's nothing
- 1:03:15you can do about your lot in life, right?
- 1:03:17It's not that you didn't choose it.
- 1:03:18It's not something you can change, but, unfortunately, in
- 1:03:22cases, like that, the tendency to want to like Bully, so that
- 1:03:26you can get the aberrant Behavior change.
- 1:03:28Also, rubs off on people like you, right.
- 1:03:31So it is a more complex issue than that but at the end of the
- 1:03:35day, I think the majority of the time I'm if somebody is engaged
- 1:03:38in degenerate or aberrant Behavior, bullying them, or
- 1:03:42immoral, Behavior. Bullying them is moral actually.
- 1:03:46Yeah, well I mean you can do it in an immoral way.
- 1:03:51Sure. But it's morale in the sense of
- 1:03:55like I see it in the sense of being My Brother's Keeper
- 1:03:59personal. Yeah well and then you know like
- 1:04:02I'm not going to lie there are there are times growing up where
- 1:04:06I was I was bullied. I you know, I was I wasn't
- 1:04:09bullied all the time, right? But no one ever is other people
- 1:04:14that say they were usually full of shit.
- 1:04:16Yeah, well there are there are people who make it seem like
- 1:04:19they were bullied all the time and that what happened, what
- 1:04:22happened? In those cases is the future few
- 1:04:25times. They get bullied really has such
- 1:04:27an impact on them that it feels like it.
- 1:04:29Yeah, well, I mean, so this is this is what what thing where
- 1:04:35like you know I got I got bullied a lot.
- 1:04:40Well, not a lot but, you know, one of the things I got bullied
- 1:04:44on wasn't because I was like handicapped at all was because I
- 1:04:49was a political nerd. And people thought that was
- 1:04:52weird, right? But instead of getting all,
- 1:04:55instead of getting asked her about it, it drove me.
- 1:05:00It drove me. It motivated me to, you know, to
- 1:05:06do better too. Well, you can still be political
- 1:05:10and not be like a fucking sperg about it, right?
- 1:05:13And that's the key, right? Yeah, you were just now giving
- 1:05:16advice to other people on how to do that.
- 1:05:18So clearly it and that's a case of Bullying creating a positive
- 1:05:22outcome, right? You know, it encouraged me to,
- 1:05:28you know, improve myself and prove myself and to be better.
- 1:05:32Yeah, maybe I maybe I was forgetting a little, you know,
- 1:05:34too hard and in some cases you know, it wasn't nestling - The
- 1:05:42thing is, you know I could have I could have broken down about
- 1:05:46it by I didn't and I do think that's where like a lot of
- 1:05:51people do kind of get a little, you know, myth with a Zoomers is
- 1:05:56because everything seems to come down to the Fifi's with them.
- 1:06:04Yeah. But they also they do the most
- 1:06:06toxic forms of bullying to each other as well.
- 1:06:10It's both like on the one. Hand, if they have this like
- 1:06:14complete a version to the concept of bullying, as a
- 1:06:16generation, and then on the other hand, there's some of the
- 1:06:19most nasty, sadistic kind of whistles word.
- 1:06:26I'm looking for passive aggressive, bullies that have
- 1:06:29ever done the fucking job of bullying, right?
- 1:06:33They will, they will swap each other as a bullying thing?
- 1:06:36Yeah, well and see. That's the whole thing too.
- 1:06:39Is like that Like as as a concept.
- 1:06:44Like that one, even that won't even enter my mind to do that.
- 1:06:49Like Like, like, my, I've never, I've never seen an instance, of
- 1:06:57cause there's lots of videos of people getting swatted, right?
- 1:07:00I've never seen an instance of somebody getting swatted that, I
- 1:07:03actually thought was funny, right?
- 1:07:05Like ignoring the morality of the situation?
- 1:07:08I've just never seen. One that I thought was funny.
- 1:07:10It's always very harrowing. Now the the one, the one video
- 1:07:17I've seen, and I don't think it's even of a swatting per se,
- 1:07:20but but the one, the one video I have seen that is kind of funny,
- 1:07:25is the meme of the SWAT guys, like breaking through the window
- 1:07:30windows in the one in the morning, I'll it comes through
- 1:07:33the roof. I think it's like a meme of some
- 1:07:36kind like the ladies and gentlemen we got him you know to
- 1:07:39be fair. That's the it's funny because
- 1:07:42it's So over the top right it's funny.
- 1:07:45But yeah, it's funny because it is harrowing like I said and
- 1:07:49that's what I'm saying is like, you see?
- 1:07:52Like the streamers getting swatted and it's not, it's not
- 1:07:56funny, right? At least not to me.
- 1:07:58It's whether I like them or dislike them like even even
- 1:08:03Ralph getting the called by the, the Mexican authorities.
- 1:08:07It was like, oh God, I hope they don't like shoot him.
- 1:08:11Yeah it's yeah. I like just from a comedy point.
- 1:08:17I don't understand why they think it's funny but then from
- 1:08:20like obviously a moral standpoint like that's attempted
- 1:08:23murder. Yeah, and a get well.
- 1:08:27And then one thing, we talked to officer is how, you know, that
- 1:08:31is one thing that the police needs reform among other.
- 1:08:35Yeah. Well, no, the cop, that's the
- 1:08:37thing cops have to stop this. The, the you're never going to
- 1:08:41get these weird antisocial internet people to stop doing
- 1:08:45it, especially when they suffer, no consequences.
- 1:08:49But but if you can't catch them, there is behaviors.
- 1:08:54On police that could be amended in reformed to prevent this
- 1:08:58problem from happening where because I look there was a man
- 1:09:04killed by a swatting not that long ago and somebody sentenced
- 1:09:07to life in prison over it. So it's, it does get to that
- 1:09:11level. They have killed dogs.
- 1:09:13They've flashbang babies, like look cops can way go over the
- 1:09:18line sometimes and especially when they think there's a bad
- 1:09:22guy in there and he's about to hurt good.
- 1:09:24People. They tend to be on edge gungho
- 1:09:30ready to go. Of course they trained for this
- 1:09:32guy, especially SWAT teams they trained for this kind of thing.
- 1:09:34So the adrenaline's flowing they're ready to kick that door
- 1:09:37in and Let it Loose man and that's a very unsafe environment
- 1:09:43and I do think that the police and the how dispatch relays
- 1:09:48information and how they do Wellness checks, and all of this
- 1:09:52stuff really should be looked at otherwise, I don't think we're
- 1:09:56Never going to solve the problem, but we're especially
- 1:09:59not going to solve the problem. If you're not arresting these
- 1:10:00people like how many people in the in that Ethan Ralph sector
- 1:10:04get swatted all the time? And in nobody's getting arrested
- 1:10:09for it. Nobody's seeing any charges
- 1:10:11whatsoever that's extremely concerning in a much wider
- 1:10:17context to me. Yeah, yeah it really is I mean
- 1:10:26that and that doesn't, that's not me calling for them.
- 1:10:29Just to, you know, metaphorically Lynch.
- 1:10:32The first guy they suspect either.
- 1:10:35I want the people responsible caught, right, right.
- 1:10:39But the thing is, it seems like that isn't happening.
- 1:10:42So what the alternative, what other alternative than police
- 1:10:46amending their behavior. Do we have?
- 1:10:49It's, we can just let this continue.
- 1:10:52We can catch the people doing it.
- 1:10:53And show there are consequences or police can stop.
- 1:10:56Stop fucking doing it. Those are the only three
- 1:10:57options. Well, they need to, they need to
- 1:11:01amend their procedures, for sure.
- 1:11:04Yeah, yeah. And I don't necessarily know how
- 1:11:08I'm not suggesting a specific policy course.
- 1:11:11It's just that. Look, if cops are willing to
- 1:11:13just kick the door in and shoot people over a text-to-speech
- 1:11:17message, which is literally what's happening in some cases.
- 1:11:21This is a problem, right? You're going to trust.
- 1:11:25I understand that, like there's people who are deaf, disabled,
- 1:11:28whatever. The use Text-to-Speech for
- 1:11:30legitimate purposes, but it also provided clearly provides the
- 1:11:35anonymity and cover for these people to engage in it.
- 1:11:38And this is the thing, this is why it all ties back.
- 1:11:42This is allowed to go on, just fine and YouTube wants to say
- 1:11:45making a video about Johnny Fox is harassment.
- 1:11:50It's mind-blowing like you mentioned, mr.
- 1:11:55Medic earlier like he's a cancer patient being swatted.
- 1:11:59Why is that not a big deal or the Vickers family?
- 1:12:02As I understand it that mr. Vickers and his wife weren't
- 1:12:05even home. The first time they got swatted.
- 1:12:07The first time I have to, I have to fucking specify the first
- 1:12:11time because this happens all the fucking time.
- 1:12:15But and and I get angry because I was going to say, the first
- 1:12:18time it happened, they were out on a vacation and the kids were
- 1:12:23home with their adult daughter faith.
- 1:12:28So it was a house full of fucking chips.
- 1:12:29So you swatted a house full of fucking children, right?
- 1:12:32You know and nobody's going to jail for this.
- 1:12:36Nobody's been arrested for this. So, okay.
- 1:12:38Like and and as I understand it, they did like walk the kids out
- 1:12:44at gunpoint, you know, they actually at least the first time
- 1:12:48now know better. Now they give them a call.
- 1:12:51Now they they let them know. Hey, this is Ben said, did you
- 1:12:54kill anybody? He's he says no, and then that's
- 1:12:57fine. And I get that but that first
- 1:13:00time shouldn't have happened. There is no excuse for it.
- 1:13:05It was a text-to-speech call making absurd claims that could
- 1:13:09have been easily disproven by knocking on the fucking door.
- 1:13:13Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what that's what needs to
- 1:13:16happen. That's what he liked and that
- 1:13:18that is the one thing that like confused to be like, what is so
- 1:13:20hard. I like to me.
- 1:13:22That's what Wellness, Jack should be like, knocking on the
- 1:13:25door. Like, you know, Like making a
- 1:13:29phone call to like I mean, I know people have house phones
- 1:13:33and you know, I can understand that they are like I can
- 1:13:36understand being required to to see to it in person because
- 1:13:40there is potentially a person in danger on the premises.
- 1:13:43I get that right? But you could still just knock
- 1:13:47on the door, we don't need the SWAT team with the fucking
- 1:13:50battering ram. Okay, we don't need it for every
- 1:13:54fucking thing, especially if it's text to speech and The
- 1:13:58inning. Did they do a back trace on it
- 1:14:01to find out if the location matched the the place?
- 1:14:05Probably not. They probably got what I imagine
- 1:14:09is. As I understand it both Jim and
- 1:14:12the Vickers are in kind of small towns.
- 1:14:14And it's probably the most exciting call that they've
- 1:14:16gotten in fucking years. And and so they, they shine up
- 1:14:20their fucking boots and they get up, and it's like, the, the
- 1:14:23beginning of the fucking old Ghostbusters cartoon, where
- 1:14:26they're all guy. What Batman?
- 1:14:28I'm suiting up for something, right?
- 1:14:29And they're all fucking hyping themselves up.
- 1:14:31They probably listening to some fucking Boomer Rock like like we
- 1:14:39are ready to go and they fucking kicked the door in and it's a
- 1:14:43house full of fucking children. What happens?
- 1:14:47If what happens if you know, mr. Hight, themself up militarized
- 1:14:50police with his fucking automatic, fucking weapon, takes
- 1:14:54a fucking door in. Get scared by a fucking little
- 1:14:56kid and shoots him in the head. Oh, not only, is it not
- 1:15:01impossible but it fucking happens all the time.
- 1:15:03Maybe not officer swatting, but we see police shooting in the
- 1:15:07line of duty. Not when they not necessarily
- 1:15:10show all the time, it's no surprise that if you make this
- 1:15:14happen, it's a much more dangerous environment.
- 1:15:17Maybe this particular topic gets me a little no, no sorry
- 1:15:20audience. No, I I love not because it's
- 1:15:25not because of the atomic necessarily because it Because
- 1:15:28you are so but because you are so adamant about, they don't
- 1:15:32know. I in this, this also, this also
- 1:15:37speaks to my laboratory and you know, thing of, I don't agree
- 1:15:41with defunding the police but certainly demilitarize the Play
- 1:15:45Store soon to a certain extent. I prefer the term reform.
- 1:15:50I believe that we should reform police practice.
- 1:15:53That's that's the way I would say it.
- 1:15:55It's not as good of a slogan, but it's much more accurate.
- 1:16:00Yeah, because I know, I, I don't think, like, there are cases,
- 1:16:05there are even some of the famous BLM cases.
- 1:16:09Eric Garner's? One of them.
- 1:16:10Eric, what happened to Eric Garner never should have
- 1:16:12happened. The police.
- 1:16:15The police were totally in the wrong there.
- 1:16:17He was he was selling loose cigarettes, doesn't require a
- 1:16:21Chokehold. Sorry, of course the instant
- 1:16:25people. Why the BLM doesn't really talk
- 1:16:27about it as much anymore is because the officer in question
- 1:16:31was a black woman sergeant that actually applied the Fatal
- 1:16:36Stranglehold. Yeah, but yeah, there are cases
- 1:16:41like that. There are cases, the even look
- 1:16:44black lives matter isn't necessarily wrong about police
- 1:16:48brutality just because they've acted inappropriately.
- 1:16:53I think that most of the young, you know, black people that were
- 1:16:56out there marching in their head.
- 1:16:59What they were marching for is police please, stop beating my
- 1:17:02ass and my friends ass is for no reason, well and if you can't,
- 1:17:06if you can't open your heart. Up to that plate, then I don't
- 1:17:11know. Like, you're probably not a nice
- 1:17:15person. Well, this is another thing that
- 1:17:18I would actually love to have a guest odd about, because I've
- 1:17:22heard black people say that like that black lives matter started
- 1:17:27out as a good organization, but then got co-opted by, you know,
- 1:17:33by I'm not going to say, think, I think, in terms of
- 1:17:36organization, I've I always found it very distasteful, but
- 1:17:40the message and the Very notion of it.
- 1:17:43Look, I've experienced police brutality.
- 1:17:46So, in my mind, I don't particularly think it's a
- 1:17:50universally just racial based issue, right?
- 1:17:53But I do think that more black people live in poverty and more
- 1:17:58black people live together in poverty in major cities and so
- 1:18:02are more subject to police bigger police forces with more.
- 1:18:08Moving parts and more guys and they are.
- 1:18:11Yeah, probably more likely to be on the receiving end of abuse.
- 1:18:15I don't see why they wouldn't be, and that doesn't necessarily
- 1:18:18mean that they get. The other thing is look and FBI
- 1:18:21crime statistics bear this out. They also commit more crime,
- 1:18:25violent crime and in this to tragic part of that is against
- 1:18:29their own Community. Yeah.
- 1:18:32So not only do they commit the most crime of any demographic
- 1:18:36violent crime but it's being Traded on black people by black
- 1:18:40people. And yeah, so police are in those
- 1:18:44neighborhoods because there's violent crime and they interact
- 1:18:47with people and they get jaded. I think in a lot of cases and
- 1:18:52they they look cops. Again I'm a cop as a profession
- 1:18:57is such. So high stress.
- 1:18:58They have one of the highest divorce rates, they have one of
- 1:19:01the highest rates of mental illness.
- 1:19:03They have one of the highest rates of drug abuse and in you
- 1:19:06know, abusing Their spouse actually one of the highest
- 1:19:10rates of that as well. So, It's just a powder keg.
- 1:19:14This is something that we should address.
- 1:19:16I think, I think Republicans do themselves a service by just
- 1:19:19saying a disservice by just saying back the blue.
- 1:19:24There's more to it than that. Now there's plenty of cops out
- 1:19:27there that acting in good faith in are good people and uphold
- 1:19:30the law and a shining beacons in their Community.
- 1:19:33Yeah I would never say differently but there are plenty
- 1:19:36that are bad and closing our eyes about it because it's
- 1:19:39politically inconvenient is stupid.
- 1:19:42And one of the things I particularly liked about Trump
- 1:19:44during his administration was, just that he tried to address
- 1:19:48that issue. You could argue about the, the
- 1:19:51crime, the reform bills. The Justice Reform.
- 1:19:55Bill you could say it wasn't as effective or you could say, you
- 1:20:01know, it didn't do much. There's different arguments you
- 1:20:04can make about it. But at least the guy was open to
- 1:20:06like let's talk about this. Biden hasn't done anything, even
- 1:20:12close to that, you know, and he's supposed to be on that side
- 1:20:15of things. Yeah.
- 1:20:18Well, that well that's, that's the ironic thing is.
- 1:20:21The party that the party that always talks about like
- 1:20:24reforming the police. Never never do.
- 1:20:27Right, right. Well, and let's not forget the
- 1:20:30Biden crime. Bill is part of why we're at
- 1:20:33this stage anyway. You know, he passed the crime
- 1:20:37bill in the 90s that enforced three strikes and you're out
- 1:20:41policies. The severe crackdowns on crack
- 1:20:44cocaine in particular, which yeah, 100% was targeted at the
- 1:20:49black community because who the fuck else at the time was
- 1:20:51smoking? Crack it didn't, it wasn't in
- 1:20:53the suburbs. Okay, it was targeted.
- 1:20:56It was very targeted, you know? And and look at the effects of
- 1:21:00it, look the ravages of crack on the black community is fucking
- 1:21:04horrific. And then the Use of the drug war
- 1:21:06to combat crack. I would argue is probably worse.
- 1:21:10either way, it's left the general, you know, probably two
- 1:21:14generations, completely dependent on the welfare system
- 1:21:16and without fathers in the home, and with no, and when no role
- 1:21:20models other than either criminals athletes or rappers,
- 1:21:26Yeah. And and, you know, and P it, and
- 1:21:30it makes you wonder if it's if it's all by designed to say
- 1:21:37certainly there's an element of it.
- 1:21:38But I I think it's just this, the, it's the natural outcome of
- 1:21:43the welfare state, because the disparity that we're seeing, in
- 1:21:46that all the, all of those categories, I've mentioned
- 1:21:49single motherhood, drug abuse mental illness on, and on, and
- 1:21:52on criminal criminality, victim of being a violent crime.
- 1:21:56I'm on and on, and on the Gap, particularly divorce and single
- 1:22:00motherhood, by the way, is the number one cause of the number
- 1:22:04one suspect on this list. It's the Gap in the black
- 1:22:08community versus the white Community.
- 1:22:10All of those topics is being bridged super quickly, it's the
- 1:22:15weld. The welfare state took a little
- 1:22:17longer to take effect in the poor, White Community, but when
- 1:22:20it did, it had the exact same effect.
- 1:22:24Oh yeah, no. Dave Chappelle has talked That
- 1:22:26in his specials to. So it's because of the culture
- 1:22:33of Black America it was maybe easier to for it that effect to
- 1:22:39happen very quickly but it's always going to be the effect of
- 1:22:45rampant welfarism. Ended.
- 1:22:51All right well how we fix it? I mean that's a debate you could
- 1:22:55have for the next thousand years.
- 1:22:57Yeah well that's a debate, we've been having for, you know, for
- 1:23:01several about 1000 Years, not 2000.
- 1:23:07So yeah, and and I mean woke - I mean, here's the thing.
- 1:23:13The, the term staying with the the term being wokes like racial
- 1:23:17Injustice is annesley a bad idea in and of itself that Prentiss.
- 1:23:23But the way the way that it's been Kind of I guess I don't
- 1:23:32know transformed, you know, maligned, whatever you want to
- 1:23:37call it, to just, you know, to be to just be like outrage
- 1:23:41culture, that's where a lot of people have problems with it.
- 1:23:45So right and it's the distinction between equality and
- 1:23:49Equity, right? That's and it's really slick
- 1:23:53that they do it that way, where they, they've slowly replaced
- 1:23:56equality with equity. Because most people don't
- 1:23:59understand the difference because it's kind of nuanced.
- 1:24:02We're just, you know, if I, I'm sorry audience if I explain
- 1:24:07things that you understand, but when I introduce a term, I like
- 1:24:10to explain myself. Yeah, no.
- 1:24:12I'm the same way so so equality. Obviously, we all know is like
- 1:24:16expect it. Everybody has the same starting
- 1:24:19point, right? Everybody.
- 1:24:20Everybody has access to the same level of opportunities.
- 1:24:23Equality. Whereas Equity is everybody has
- 1:24:26the same outcome which is Is completely different.
- 1:24:29And so in order to achieve Equity, the The Tall Man just
- 1:24:35legs must I like my legs. Got to get chopped off because
- 1:24:39because Sam's in a wheelchair, right?
- 1:24:41So, I got to be in a wheelchair. That's it, buddy.
- 1:24:45Well it's not it's not right? And it did it doesn't fix Sam's
- 1:24:49problem, right? It is just creates a problem for
- 1:24:52me, but the outcome is then the same well and based on my
- 1:24:59educational background in technical writing and whatnot.
- 1:25:03The other thing about equity and equality is visually if you see
- 1:25:07them printed on on a page equity and equality.
- 1:25:12If you're just like scanning a page but not really reading it.
- 1:25:16They look very similar. Yeah.
- 1:25:18There's that they can almost be confused, but your brain can
- 1:25:22misread though, you know? And because they're so similar,
- 1:25:27people assume that they're synonyms, right?
- 1:25:30Not the case. Right.
- 1:25:32Exactly. But that, you know, that's a
- 1:25:34fairly calm. That's a fairly common mistake
- 1:25:37to, you know, to make so I live, that's why they use that word
- 1:25:41specifically, To, it's part. Exactly.
- 1:25:44A lot of the left stuff is little mental tricks like that.
- 1:25:48Yeah, I would say 90, I would say like 95% of it is
- 1:25:52psychological. Mmm.
- 1:25:55So Yep. So in conclusion, ladies and
- 1:25:59gentlemen, I'm on the YouTube issue because we keep fucking
- 1:26:02going in circles, on other things, we find interesting
- 1:26:04stuff to talk about. If you do any type of Locale
- 1:26:07content, back your shit up back, your shit up right now because
- 1:26:13it's not going to be a great time for us in the future on
- 1:26:16YouTube but that's okay because these other platforms are
- 1:26:19growing to a point where they're kind of sustainable.
- 1:26:22Yeah. And that that is one thing to
- 1:26:24kind of, you know, wrap up the show here.
- 1:26:26That I do want to, you know, kind of point out.
- 1:26:30I know that I know that Max brought up the Curt do little
- 1:26:33thing. I do kind of want a dress that
- 1:26:35real real quick. I really appreciate everyone who
- 1:26:40has, you know, tuned in to you know, watch the episode
- 1:26:45especially since we pre recorded it and you know did it
- 1:26:50beforehand. A lot of people ask, you know,
- 1:26:53why we did that. And that was because Does not do
- 1:26:57live interviews. He prefers to do, you know,
- 1:27:01pre-recorded podcast and I don't know why that is but I don't,
- 1:27:06you know, it's just his preference.
- 1:27:08So we go with what the guests, you know, doesn't want.
- 1:27:12He doesn't talk to a lot of people like at all.
- 1:27:15Yeah, he did kind of make an exception for us and we're like,
- 1:27:19eternally grateful to him and in proper tarrying Institute and
- 1:27:24all that for for help us out. Out.
- 1:27:28And you know, like I've gotten DM's from, you know, people
- 1:27:34saying that that was like a really inspiring and of you.
- 1:27:36And now they want to, you know, think I like getting into
- 1:27:40artificial intelligence and you know, I like I'm I'm amazed like
- 1:27:45a lot of people were touched by that podcast, I really
- 1:27:48appreciate it. Also I mean I know that I know
- 1:27:55that people would prefer usually I think I will say about YouTube
- 1:28:00kind of relating to this whole thing is I know that because
- 1:28:03YouTube is the biggest, right? We all tend to go there just by
- 1:28:08default, but You know, I think like, I've been trying to watch
- 1:28:17more cons on Rumble and honestly just, you know, breaking that
- 1:28:21habit. And, you know, so I think the
- 1:28:24more content appears on these alternative platforms.
- 1:28:29I mean, heck even Spotify, you know, does video podcast, you
- 1:28:33know, now I think the more people get on to Alternative
- 1:28:38platforms. I think it, you know, and
- 1:28:39actually give YouTube competition, I think the better
- 1:28:42it will be for all us. So in the long run, I was
- 1:28:46unaware that they had video on Spotify now.
- 1:28:48That's actually pretty cool. Yeah, probably, that's probably
- 1:28:51where I'll watch your show from now on then.
- 1:28:54Yeah, yeah, that's that's where I've been.
- 1:28:57Well, they don't do. They don't do live streaming
- 1:28:59yet, but, yeah, I mean, that was, that was one of the cool
- 1:29:03things about Joe Rogan going over to Spotify, was in his in
- 1:29:11hit. He was kind of talking about the
- 1:29:13behind the scenes of that deal, one day.
- 1:29:16And one thing he said, when he was going over to Spotify was he
- 1:29:21was like we have to have video because That's a big part of our
- 1:29:25show and if we're not doing both video and audio then you know,
- 1:29:32I'm not doing it the deal. So they they basically created
- 1:29:37that they basically created the video audio, you know,
- 1:29:41multi-stream API for Rogan specifically.
- 1:29:44And we're like, well, why don't we just open that up to
- 1:29:47creators? So they did.
- 1:29:50And now I like a lot of like other shows are doing, I think.
- 1:29:54If Joey Diaz is doing that show, I know Lex Friedman like a lot
- 1:30:00of people who can do like sports shows are now doing that.
- 1:30:04So, you know, thats cool also rumble on their app allows
- 1:30:11background play, which is nice. So which YouTube tries to charge
- 1:30:18your money for Yes, and sadly. I am the I'm one of the ones
- 1:30:22that has been paying for that but You know, I think well the
- 1:30:29funny thing about that is the effect of that had with me is
- 1:30:33just drove me to when I'm out in it.
- 1:30:37We're when I'm in a situation where I would turn off the
- 1:30:40screen to listen to something, I'm just going to do it on
- 1:30:42Spotify. Yeah, yeah, they're very go and
- 1:30:47that and that's that's why our that's partially why I responded
- 1:30:51by numbers. I mean, even before we got
- 1:30:54kicked off YouTube, that's, you know, a lot of people would go
- 1:30:57to Spotify for that reason. So but but anyway, I wanted to
- 1:31:02thank you all for, you know, tuning into the, you know,
- 1:31:06podcast that we did with Kurt. That was, that was really a
- 1:31:13great experience and I'm glad everyone enjoyed it.
- 1:31:16Not sure who were who were going to have on, you know, on
- 1:31:20Wednesday. But the other thing is on
- 1:31:22Friday. We will be celebrating my
- 1:31:2515-year anniversary of you know, me podcasting.
- 1:31:30So that'll be a lot of fun, big milestone, big milestone.
- 1:31:36I I sent, I said maxim of my old old shit from blocked.
- 1:31:42The gray, do some of which is cringe and I'm sure that he
- 1:31:45enjoy. I've been touring over some of
- 1:31:49the content to try and find some clips that might make you laugh.
- 1:31:53So Maybe do that on the Friday show.
- 1:31:55See if I could get you laughing at your old shit because some of
- 1:32:00it is made me laugh and not at you, but with you, right?
- 1:32:03Well, there's some great content.
- 1:32:05Actually, I was surprised. How much better I thought
- 1:32:08young-sam. I was thinking probably Woods a
- 1:32:12little less confident, which is true, and maybe didn't know what
- 1:32:16he was doing. But, no, you had a Mac.
- 1:32:20I well on see, I know, I had a night.
- 1:32:24I know I had a knack but I also a lot of the content.
- 1:32:27I haven't heard since I recorded some of that.
- 1:32:30So, like a lot of this stuff is like, I don't remember, I don't
- 1:32:34remember doing and that, that's the other thing is when you do,
- 1:32:39when you do Exile podcast, you don't always remember what show
- 1:32:44Yeah, you know you don't remember specific specific
- 1:32:47details of like a show unless it's like fairly recent so or
- 1:32:53like a big one, like one that was like really relevant, you
- 1:32:58know? Like I have some of those with
- 1:32:59a, I did. So many episodes of my show
- 1:33:03about Dave Grady friend of the cringe, Coffeehouse Long Time,
- 1:33:08and some of those episodes I've completely forgotten but I'll
- 1:33:13never forget. When he got into a war of words
- 1:33:16with a guy that feeds cats, right?
- 1:33:19So, Or the time he yelled racial slurs at his neighbor through
- 1:33:26megaphone. I was that was also like I
- 1:33:29remember that show. Yeah well and well and then I'm
- 1:33:34also trying to find, you know, the I'm actually trying to find
- 1:33:39the video of the interview I did with mr.
- 1:33:42Mike she lie mr. I wish I was nice to you.
- 1:33:47I was nice to you. I'm really sorry.
- 1:33:52Which I wish you know, I can't wait.
- 1:33:56I can't believe that what old make Fred of the whole.
- 1:33:59Like that's one of the popped on Marsh, memes out there now and I
- 1:34:05you know and I was partially responsible for that so I know
- 1:34:09look Doolittle was responsible for a large chunk of the new
- 1:34:13viewership but Mercer was responsible for some of it to
- 1:34:18you know because certainly I was absolutely huh.
- 1:34:21Bold to notice that like my episode with you last week was
- 1:34:27you know, significantly higher than all the previous you know
- 1:34:31things for about a year. So clearly clearly Marsh thank
- 1:34:36you. Yeah really helped us out
- 1:34:39shoutout to mersh met you of it. May you live a thousand years?
- 1:34:44Yeah may you live a thousand years and be happy for none of
- 1:34:47them. Yeah, not.
- 1:34:53Well it's not like you have to tell them to be on how well it
- 1:34:56would to himself. Anyway, yeah, um, well, I mean,
- 1:35:01there's, there's always a lesson, there's always, you
- 1:35:04know, Jesse's feeding them, giving them free food II, don't
- 1:35:08know, especially in this economy.
- 1:35:10Like, if I were merged I would be thrilled you know, to have a
- 1:35:15fan Like Jesse who imagine getting Getting mad that people
- 1:35:19send you good takeout food. Because like, for a while,
- 1:35:22that's exactly what they were doing.
- 1:35:24They switched over to coleslaw because he was eaten at all but
- 1:35:30yeah, they were sending them like McDonald's like they were
- 1:35:33sending him sobs and pizzas and everything, a lie, all the shit.
- 1:35:37He like specifically the shit they'd seen him eaten before on
- 1:35:40stream or whatever. This motherfucker, right?
- 1:35:44I just, you know, Look, they tailor-made, they specifically
- 1:35:49sent stuff. He would like I'd probably eat
- 1:35:53it too. That would probably work on me.
- 1:35:54I can tell I've been working hard at trying to lose weight.
- 1:35:58It's tough when you get close to 40 but if somebody if somebody
- 1:36:02served me up like a buffalo chicken sub at my door, I might
- 1:36:05fucking eat it. Yeah.
- 1:36:10Well and at the very least you know if you're not going to eat
- 1:36:12it you could give it to your kid.
- 1:36:14Maybe. I don't know but or a neighbor
- 1:36:17or so yeah. Like I don't know get mad about
- 1:36:20the free food seems a bit. Ridiculous, get mad about
- 1:36:23getting sent thousands of pounds of concrete is understandable,
- 1:36:27but still funny. But yeah, we just had to give
- 1:36:30look, you know, we have to give 99% of the credit for the
- 1:36:34increase to to Kurt. But there's the also mersh
- 1:36:39effect going where he fucking said, horrific things about you
- 1:36:44and shock of shocks. It made him the heel.
- 1:36:49Wow. Yeah.
- 1:36:50And I just And I just laughed about it.
- 1:36:54I didn't ruin same. Anything mean you know back I
- 1:36:58just laughed and laughed about it and he was like oh you're
- 1:37:01gonna own it now? No.
- 1:37:04Yeah you did. You did it.
- 1:37:06The original point in time I didn't upload the second clip
- 1:37:10but you did do a video and the reason he's still mad about it
- 1:37:14let's be honest is because you logically proved that he is a
- 1:37:18retard. Because he fell for a fucking
- 1:37:22obvious prank and you said it. And from that moment on he's
- 1:37:27hated you because what other reason he responded to the Veep
- 1:37:30so quickly I put it up, I didn't tag him in it or anything.
- 1:37:35So he's just searching his own name, genius.
- 1:37:38Genius anus did. Because he went after fair
- 1:37:41enough, he went out, he went after genius a nose for a bit
- 1:37:45too, but, but the thing of it is is genius anus.
- 1:37:50And it's kind of poetic I'm about to say this genius anus
- 1:37:53shits on me regular because he's a little rat.
- 1:37:58He's a literal asshole. Yeah, I love it.
- 1:38:04That people take a cartoon talking asshole Avatar.
- 1:38:10Super seriously, I mean, and he says, he says the most absurd
- 1:38:17fucking shit all over Twitter and they still they take But he
- 1:38:20says he does his journalism, right, but separate from that,
- 1:38:24he says, it's fucking hilarious. And I just don't understand why
- 1:38:29you'd take him super swell. Well Max, I mean, I don't know
- 1:38:32if I don't know if you're aware of this but like, according to
- 1:38:35the people I've seen online, you, you are genius anus.
- 1:38:39I'm not sure if you are aware of that, but so I I've been told
- 1:38:45that only by one, dude. But, you know, it happens
- 1:38:51because also they were saying, genius anus.
- 1:38:55Is like five other people and that's true.
- 1:38:58By the way, all of that is true. We are, you know, at the end of
- 1:39:05the day, the real, the real, The real Tina saying, this was the
- 1:39:09friends we made along the way so.
- 1:39:12Well, the funny part is Twitter, actually, banned his Avatar.
- 1:39:16Now, of the dislike from the cartoon show, a see McGee and
- 1:39:21apparently they said it was not appropriate so he made a new
- 1:39:24one. And I've just said, well doesn't
- 1:39:27that make you punished anus? The new one looks like the new
- 1:39:38one looks horrified. The new one looks horrified
- 1:39:42well, because the new one is the anus man, right?
- 1:39:44Because that's what certain certain crazy, people call them.
- 1:39:49Yeah, the anus man's out to get them, you know, it's like a
- 1:39:54fucking, he's like a children's, you know, bedtime story gone
- 1:39:59horribly, wrong the anus man. And here I am.
- 1:40:05Like I'm I just why I'm a full grown man, but my sense of humor
- 1:40:10is so is so juvenile. Sometimes like that.
- 1:40:14Just funny to me the anus man. Like that's just something in
- 1:40:18Like I would have made up in like junior high or something
- 1:40:22like that like it's just juvenile but it's funny and how
- 1:40:28absurd it is. That's just funny people take
- 1:40:32that she's stopped taking the internet.
- 1:40:34So serious. Even the new shit.
- 1:40:36It's like you should only take it.
- 1:40:37So seriously, live your life, man, we only get one shot.
- 1:40:42Go out there and touch grass. So fine.
- 1:40:46Jesus touch grass. Talk to girls.
- 1:40:49That's my three rules for life gentlemen.
- 1:40:54But anyway, any other topics you want to bring up?
- 1:40:57Or I think we can call this a day maybe unless you have
- 1:41:01anything else, nothing particularly this week.
- 1:41:07I do want to say. So I'm looking into just to give
- 1:41:10the audience kind of a heads up where we're at.
- 1:41:13We're bringing in guests obviously.
- 1:41:15Each week we're going to do try to do one guest looking at a
- 1:41:20couple people this week. I'm not sure to tell you.
- 1:41:22Oh, it's going to be, I don't know, a necessarily yet.
- 1:41:27We have several pretty big guest coming up and obviously the new
- 1:41:32little thing is helped out a lot because it's good.
- 1:41:37If you didn't watch it yet, please do what.
- 1:41:41Let me tell you how good it is, folks.
- 1:41:43I don't even watch my own stuff until like two weeks later, just
- 1:41:48because it's just a thing with me.
- 1:41:51Like, if I If I watch Iron stuff the day after like it feels like
- 1:41:58it feels like a movie. I've seen to recently, right?
- 1:42:02Like I know all the like the plot points and it's not
- 1:42:06interesting to me but I was able to actually separate myself like
- 1:42:12from the ho stroll and listen to the conversation with Kurt as
- 1:42:18like an audience member. And I actually feel like I
- 1:42:21gained more insight from listening to Kurt the second
- 1:42:24time around as opposed to, you know, wasn't into him because I
- 1:42:29wasn't playing house that I was actually able to listen to him
- 1:42:33as like an audience member, that make sense.
- 1:42:35And it was, it was really good. It's only an hour and it's so
- 1:42:40densely packed with information and interesting.
- 1:42:45Tidbits, I highly recommend. I've watched it three times now,
- 1:42:49because the first time I just watched it to watch it.
- 1:42:52Of course, I I wasn't a part of the actual interview, I left
- 1:42:57that to you and Julie just because he knew Kurt.
- 1:43:01So, in case you missed anything, he would be there to ask
- 1:43:03questions and the dynamic between three of you was great
- 1:43:08but then I watched it two more times because I was I was
- 1:43:11pulling Clips so that you can find those clips Sam's retweeted
- 1:43:15him and if you like the clip, the whole thing is just full of
- 1:43:19them. Like I could have I could have
- 1:43:20made like 20 Clips out of it, but I Didn't want to overload
- 1:43:24everybody. Oh yeah well and will parse them
- 1:43:26out over the weeks, probably so, so yep.
- 1:43:31We got interesting people lined up.
- 1:43:32I will say that we're going to try and get even more
- 1:43:35interesting people and you know our good friend Marsh said well
- 1:43:40never been bigger than him. Well that's true.
- 1:43:44You are very fat but I think we're doing pretty okay.
- 1:43:49Well yeah, we don't buy our viewers either so that helps.
- 1:43:53But anyway. Well, you know, regardless will
- 1:43:58be here for Monday, was for Wednesday.
- 1:44:00I mean, whether or not that's, you know, with a guest or just
- 1:44:04us, you know maybe we'll have more news on the Trump Thing by
- 1:44:08there and we'll talk about that. I don't know but we'll see you
- 1:44:11for sure on month on Wednesday and then again on Friday folks
- 1:44:15and should be a good week. So Thank you for watching and
- 1:44:19we'll see you Wednesday. God Bless America.
