Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York.
- 0:03Speaker 2: It's the Mark sim Own Show on seven tenor.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Hey, another summer day to day. It's gonna be beautiful outside.
- 0:13Speaker 3: It already is beautiful outside. We've got a lot to
- 0:15Speaker 3: get to. Is that Mets curse really over?
- 0:18Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 0:18Speaker 3: We'll take a look at that. We'll get to President Trump,
- 0:21Speaker 3: We'll get to Iran, We'll get to jerry mandering, we'll
- 0:24Speaker 3: get to the White House correspondence dinner, We'll get to
- 0:27Speaker 3: the Southern Poverty Law Center, Propaganda Center, and a whole
- 0:32Speaker 3: lot more coming up. Now, if you hear any noise
- 0:35Speaker 3: during the show, it's bring your kids to work day.
- 0:40Speaker 3: These little monster These kids are all over the hallways,
- 0:45Speaker 3: running around, sometimes getting a little loud, so you might
- 0:47Speaker 3: hear some noise here and there. I guess it's bring
- 0:49Speaker 3: your kids to work day everywhere. And is it all
- 0:55Speaker 3: day the whole Yeah, And I saw that, Yeah, I
- 0:59Speaker 3: saw that memos like eleven to two or something. It's
- 1:02Speaker 3: not even anywhere near eleven, and they're already all here.
- 1:04Speaker 3: But and normally we have all these buffets outside. There's
- 1:10Speaker 3: the Q one O four buffet, there's the Elvis Duran buffet.
- 1:13Speaker 3: There's the Charlemagne buffet. They're all I noticed. There's no
- 1:15Speaker 3: food anywhere in this floor right now? Is that because
- 1:18Speaker 3: these little kids will eat it all up in a second.
- 1:20Speaker 3: It wouldn't last two seconds. Elvis is celebrating thirty years
- 1:27Speaker 3: on the air, oh, thirty years of the Morning Show.
- 1:29Speaker 3: But before that, of course he was a big gazy
- 1:32Speaker 3: one hundred figure and thirty years on the Morning Show.
- 1:36Speaker 3: And of course you got Jim Kurr down the hall
- 1:39Speaker 3: fifty years and all this stuff going on. So let's
- 1:45Speaker 3: get to everything going on in the world. Let's just
- 1:47Speaker 3: quickly run down and ran too. We like to Instead
- 1:50Speaker 3: of you having to read a million articles, watch a
- 1:53Speaker 3: thousand shows, we just boil it all down, give you
- 1:55Speaker 3: exactly what you need to know with some inside stuff
- 1:58Speaker 3: thrown in. Save a lot of time listening to this show.
- 2:02Speaker 3: So right now, the Strait of Hormose is under our control,
- 2:06Speaker 3: despite what Iran says, we're controlling the Strait of Hormoose.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Iran is putting out videos pretending that they have some
- 2:13Speaker 3: authority in the strait, showing them attacking a couple of boats.
- 2:17Speaker 3: They were little tiny boats, not our boats. One was
- 2:20Speaker 3: I don't know. They were from two little obscure boats
- 2:23Speaker 3: were in the Strait and Iran attacked them, were not
- 2:28Speaker 3: able to do much to them. They put out these
- 2:30Speaker 3: videos trying to look like ferocious, like the most incredible
- 2:35Speaker 3: military operation, showing them boarding the ship, but you'll see
- 2:41Speaker 3: them online the worst videos you've ever seen. The couple
- 2:44Speaker 3: of Iranians trying to board the ship, throw a ladder up,
- 2:47Speaker 3: it's like a rope ladder, and try to climb up
- 2:50Speaker 3: on this rope ladder that looks like a bunch of
- 2:52Speaker 3: kids made it. And they have these uniforms with these masks,
- 2:56Speaker 3: look like they're cheap, little Halloween costume military. So it's
- 3:01Speaker 3: quite pathetic. Actually, do you see the video that we
- 3:04Speaker 3: put out when we took that tanker the other day,
- 3:07Speaker 3: first missile we fired went right through the engine, completely
- 3:10Speaker 3: disabling the ship. Helicopters over the ship are marines and
- 3:15Speaker 3: seals repelled down out of the deck of the ship.
- 3:18Speaker 3: The entire deck of the entire ships US military standing
- 3:22Speaker 3: und it was much more impressive. Who's actually running this
- 3:25Speaker 3: The commander right now, his name as Vahiti, and he's
- 3:31Speaker 3: a bad guy. He's you know, when we began the war.
- 3:35Speaker 3: We took out the top forty one leaders of Iran
- 3:39Speaker 3: all at once. They were having a meeting, didn't think
- 3:42Speaker 3: we'd know about it. We blew them all up in
- 3:46Speaker 3: one second. The whole leadership of Rand blown up the
- 3:49Speaker 3: first day, forty one of them, and that included the
- 3:51Speaker 3: leaders of the awful Revolutionary Guard. So down the totem pole,
- 3:58Speaker 3: about six levels down is this guy, General Ahmad Vahiti.
- 4:01Speaker 3: He's sixty seven years old, so he is now the
- 4:04Speaker 3: highest ranking member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, the IRGC.
- 4:10Speaker 3: He has taken control of the country because he has
- 4:13Speaker 3: control of all the military, not the military, but the
- 4:16Speaker 3: Republican Guard and the weapons. So he's in control. Even
- 4:20Speaker 3: the political leadership can't really do much about him. He's
- 4:23Speaker 3: a real extremist, crazy terrorist radical. Remember Solomoni who we
- 4:27Speaker 3: took out. This was his partner and all that stuff,
- 4:31Speaker 3: the terrorism around the world. So he's basically in charge
- 4:33Speaker 3: right now. It's just a matter of time before he's killed.
- 4:38Speaker 3: I imagine he's staying way underground and bunkers that sort of stuff.
- 4:42Speaker 3: But at some point you're going to wake up one
- 4:44Speaker 3: morning and find out we killed him. Very very bad guy.
- 4:48Speaker 3: The talks continue. I don't know what will happen with them.
- 4:51Speaker 3: We've taken out the entire Iranian navy, that was one
- 4:55Speaker 3: hundred and fifty nine ships. The whole navy is gone.
- 4:58Speaker 3: They do not have a navy, but they got these
- 5:00Speaker 3: little tiny boats. We call them mosquito boats because they're
- 5:04Speaker 3: very tiny and annoying. They're little speed boats and they're
- 5:07Speaker 3: equipped with bombs and explosives and that sort of stuff.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Some with rocket launchers, some with just TNT dynamite on them,
- 5:17Speaker 3: and they're all up and down the coast. They're hidden,
- 5:21Speaker 3: they're hidden in caves, they're hidden in little places like that.
- 5:25Speaker 3: It's believed there could be as much as fifteen hundred
- 5:28Speaker 3: of them, but let's say there's a thousand of them
- 5:30Speaker 3: US Navy right now. Anytime they see anything like that,
- 5:33Speaker 3: they just blow it up instantly, So anyone that appears
- 5:36Speaker 3: out of a cave or off the shore immediately immediately
- 5:40Speaker 3: blown up. Now they're little. They call them mosquito boats
- 5:43Speaker 3: because they like mosquitoes. They can't really hurt you, but
- 5:45Speaker 3: they're quite annoying and they pinch you here and there.
- 5:49Speaker 3: But it's enough for the insurance companies to not allow
- 5:55Speaker 3: the tankers to go. We could allow tankers to take
- 5:57Speaker 3: oil and move back and forth in the Strait, but
- 6:00Speaker 3: they have to have insurance, and the main insurer is
- 6:02Speaker 3: Lloyd's in London. So right now Lloyd's in London will
- 6:05Speaker 3: not ensure any of the tankers because of these little
- 6:07Speaker 3: mosquito boats. Even if they don't do much, and even
- 6:09Speaker 3: if they just you know, send a little explosive at
- 6:15Speaker 3: the side of your ship, it's enough to the insurance
- 6:17Speaker 3: company doesn't want have to pay for it. You know,
- 6:19Speaker 3: you'll get a bill for a million to fix it,
- 6:21Speaker 3: and they don't want to do that. So but otherwise
- 6:24Speaker 3: we have total control of the Straight of horn Moose.
- 6:27Speaker 3: The US Navy is blockading it. As long as it's blockaded,
- 6:31Speaker 3: Iran's economy has absolutely stopped. They have no economy. All
- 6:36Speaker 3: their revenue comes from the Straight of Hormoose five hundred
- 6:38Speaker 3: million a day, about thirteen fifteen, about fifteen billion a month.
- 6:44Speaker 3: They got enough money in reserve to go for another
- 6:48Speaker 3: few weeks. Some think of maybe a month or two,
- 6:51Speaker 3: and then they're completely out of cash. So you'll see
- 6:54Speaker 3: now this whole Iran thing. Hey, it's a hell of
- 6:57Speaker 3: a gamble. Now, you gotta remember, we get all the
- 7:00Speaker 3: democratic propaganda, forget the fake news propaganda. The truth is
- 7:04Speaker 3: an Iran. What we're doing there is what everybody on
- 7:09Speaker 3: every side of the aisle, every president ever in the
- 7:12Speaker 3: last forty five years. It's what everybody wanted. But the
- 7:18Speaker 3: reason nobody did it. It's a hell of a gamble
- 7:20Speaker 3: trying to pull it off. But you got Donald Trump,
- 7:23Speaker 3: who's a business guy, and business guy billionaire entrepreneurs are
- 7:28Speaker 3: risk takers. They'll take those kind of gambles, where as
- 7:31Speaker 3: a professional politician won't do it. So we'll see. You
- 7:35Speaker 3: got to figure in the end it'll payoff. I mean,
- 7:37Speaker 3: they really have no cards left. They got these little
- 7:40Speaker 3: tiny mosquito boats and that's about it. If they had
- 7:43Speaker 3: any big secret, something that could unleash on us, you
- 7:47Speaker 3: would have seen it already. So hey, the other thing
- 7:51Speaker 3: people are talking about is the jerry mandering. Democrats have
- 7:55Speaker 3: been successful in a couple of places, Texas and now
- 7:57Speaker 3: Virginia with that jerry mandering, but Republicans do the same thing.
- 8:03Speaker 3: So the focus now on Florida and they may just
- 8:07Speaker 3: jerry mander a little there, wipe out some Democratic seats
- 8:10Speaker 3: in Florida. Republicans have total control of the government in Florida,
- 8:15Speaker 3: so Hakeem Jeffries, the low IQ, goofy leader of the
- 8:20Speaker 3: House Democrats, Hakim Jeffries is threatening Florida.
- 8:25Speaker 4: A message to Florida Republicans is f around and find
- 8:28Speaker 4: out if they go down the road of a DeSantis
- 8:31Speaker 4: dummy mander, the Florida Republicans are going to find themselves
- 8:35Speaker 4: in the same situation as Texas Republicans who are on
- 8:40Speaker 4: the run right now and under no circumstances. Are Texas
- 8:43Speaker 4: Republicans picking up five seats, they'll be fortunate if they
- 8:48Speaker 4: get two or three.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Yeah, he's not good at sounding tough. When you talk
- 8:54Speaker 3: like this, when you sound like a robot and your
- 8:57Speaker 3: voice cracks, can't it's hard to sound tough. But they
- 9:00Speaker 3: wrote him up some lines instead of Jerry Manner. He
- 9:02Speaker 3: says dummy managering. That's supposed to be good and f
- 9:05Speaker 3: around and find out that's a Trump expression or Republican expression.
- 9:09Speaker 3: So he's using that now. Is Florida afraid of Jeffreys
- 9:14Speaker 3: coming down there? Jeffrey says he'll come down there and
- 9:16Speaker 3: try to Jerry Manner. Well, is Florida. Fraid, here's Ron DeSantis.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Oh Florida, can you do We're gonna go after Florida.
- 9:24Speaker 5: Please be my guest. I will pay for you to
- 9:26Speaker 5: come down to Florida and campaign. I'll put you up
- 9:29Speaker 5: in the Florida Governor's mansion. We'll take you fishing, We'll
- 9:33Speaker 5: do all this stuff. There's nothing that could be better
- 9:36Speaker 5: for Republicans in Florida than to see Jeffries, Hakeem Jeffries
- 9:42Speaker 5: everywhere around this state. I kind of feel bad for
- 9:45Speaker 5: the guy because he's as left as they come. He's
- 9:48Speaker 5: always going left, and yet the far left hates him.
- 9:51Speaker 5: You know, they call him a dollar store Obama, they
- 9:54Speaker 5: call him apac secure, all these different derogatory names that
- 9:58Speaker 5: they do, and so he's trying to ingratiate himself with
- 10:01Speaker 5: their but they're just not drinking the kool aid.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Yeah. So, now, Ron DeSantis doesn't always sound that snappy.
- 10:08Speaker 3: He's not the greatest talker, but when it comes to
- 10:11Speaker 3: Hakeem Jefferies, that's an easy target. So don't worry about Florida. Now,
- 10:17Speaker 3: just a note for the the jentas of mar A Lago.
- 10:21Speaker 3: You know, if you go to mar A Lago, this ballroom.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Every weekend there's these old ladies all dressed up. Are
- 10:26Speaker 3: you that crowd? They're very upset. I forget what was
- 10:31Speaker 3: three weeks three weeks ago, something was going on. The
- 10:33Speaker 3: President had to remain in Washington, so there's not much
- 10:36Speaker 3: going on during the weekend Palm Beach. But on the
- 10:39Speaker 3: weekend they're all at mar A Lago waiting for Trump
- 10:41Speaker 3: to be there a Friday night and all day Saturday
- 10:43Speaker 3: and Sunday, and they all chase him around the room.
- 10:46Speaker 3: And then last weekend he was not there, so something
- 10:50Speaker 3: big last weekend he couldn't be there. This weekend coming up,
- 10:54Speaker 3: it's the White House Correspondence Dinner and for the first
- 10:56Speaker 3: time ever as president, President Trump will go to the
- 11:00Speaker 3: correspondence dinner. So that's three weeks of no Trump at
- 11:06Speaker 3: mar A Lago three weeks now and those old ladies
- 11:10Speaker 3: getting very upset. Now, when is Mother's Day? Is that
- 11:14Speaker 3: in two weeks or three weeks? Marlago closes on Mother's Day,
- 11:17Speaker 3: closes for the year because you can't be in Palm
- 11:20Speaker 3: Beach in the summer. It's just too hot. So it closes.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Mother's Day reopens around Halloween, so just a warning. Those
- 11:29Speaker 3: oldientas from mar Laga. They all come up here for
- 11:31Speaker 3: the summer, so starting the middle of May, you're going
- 11:34Speaker 3: to see it. They'll all be back clogging up all
- 11:37Speaker 3: our restaurants here. Now the White House Correspondence Dinner, they've
- 11:43Speaker 3: canceled the comedian this year. Usually they have a comedian.
- 11:45Speaker 3: It's always a left wing John Stewart. Who's that the
- 11:49Speaker 3: idiot they have on the week at John Oliver kind
- 11:51Speaker 3: of a you know, partisan, a ridiculously partisan comedian who
- 11:56Speaker 3: only attacks one side. It wasn't always that way years ago.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Balance they'd have like a Jay Leno did it, they
- 12:03Speaker 3: do both sides. But then they went totally partisan once
- 12:07Speaker 3: Trump came. And because of that, because it was so partisan,
- 12:10Speaker 3: so over the top Trump derangement syndrome, Trump wouldn't go
- 12:13Speaker 3: as president. I don't blame him, but he's gonna go
- 12:16Speaker 3: this year, and a deal has been made. There'll be
- 12:19Speaker 3: no left wing, angry, hate filled, left wing comedian. The
- 12:23Speaker 3: big star act will be a mentalist Oz. He's very good,
- 12:29Speaker 3: very good. He really gets standing ovations. But this is
- 12:34Speaker 3: the worst audience in the world. It's all the fake news.
- 12:37Speaker 3: It's the White House correspondence. It's all the MSNBC, CNN types.
- 12:42Speaker 3: You know, they're just so filled with hate and jaded,
- 12:45Speaker 3: and they're not kind of pay any attention to Oz.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Now President Trump will then speak. Now, he's the best
- 12:53Speaker 3: roaster ever in politics. He's a professionally trained roaster. You know,
- 12:59Speaker 3: everybody's been to a roaster too, but he I remember
- 13:02Speaker 3: him and I'd say twenty five now more than a
- 13:04Speaker 3: thirty five forty friars roast. Those are the most that's
- 13:09Speaker 3: the major league of roasting. He was brilliant in those.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Then he was in those Comedy Central roasts, the Al
- 13:14Speaker 3: Smith dinner, which is a very very formal, fancy white
- 13:19Speaker 3: tie and tales kind of but in November he was there.
- 13:22Speaker 3: It's really kind of a roast. He got up and
- 13:24Speaker 3: he just tore apart everybody in the room. It was hysterical.
- 13:28Speaker 3: It was funny. Even Democrats had to laugh, it was
- 13:31Speaker 3: so funny. So he's a great roaster. So he would
- 13:33Speaker 3: go after all of these fake news figures in the room. Now,
- 13:39Speaker 3: there's a letter that's been signed by two hundred and
- 13:42Speaker 3: fifty journalists, as they call themselves, Dan Rather and all
- 13:47Speaker 3: the old guys of Sam Donaldson. They've all signed it
- 13:50Speaker 3: that we must forcibly oppose him at the dinner. I
- 13:54Speaker 3: don't know what that means, forcibly opposed him. I don't
- 13:58Speaker 3: think they mean physicallyviolently. I think they mean boo or
- 14:02Speaker 3: scream or heck or something like that. Bill O'Reilly, I
- 14:05Speaker 3: remember he was on the show yesterday or Tuesday. He
- 14:08Speaker 3: said he's going down there and he'll be the bouncer.
- 14:10Speaker 3: If anybody starts any trouble, don't laugh. Bill O'Reilly used
- 14:15Speaker 3: to be a professional bouncer. He was a real bouncer
- 14:19Speaker 3: at some pretty tough places as a remember the wreck Bar.
- 14:24Speaker 3: At the wreck Bar in Miami way back when was
- 14:28Speaker 3: like the how do you describe it? It was a rough,
- 14:33Speaker 3: rough club. It was like a very hot club, but
- 14:36Speaker 3: it was actually owned by the mob. But he he
- 14:39Speaker 3: was the bouncer there. So and Jimmy Kimmel has been
- 14:43Speaker 3: behind the scenes begging to be the comedian at this
- 14:46Speaker 3: year's White House Correspondence dinner. They want nothing to do
- 14:48Speaker 3: with Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel arguing that him and Trump in
- 14:52Speaker 3: the same room would be the biggest ratings thing in
- 14:54Speaker 3: the world. But it's not about Ray. This is not
- 14:56Speaker 3: a TV show. It's a gala for the been doing
- 15:00Speaker 3: it for years. They do run it on the c
- 15:03Speaker 3: Span and in the last few years, Fox and other
- 15:06Speaker 3: cable networks would show it. But it's not a They
- 15:08Speaker 3: don't care about ratings, so there's no Kimmel. It's a
- 15:12Speaker 3: big event. All week they have a big events. It's
- 15:15Speaker 3: like the Oscars or the Grammys. The week leading up
- 15:17Speaker 3: to it, there's a million parties, so they're already all
- 15:20Speaker 3: in DC going to these parties. Last night was the
- 15:22Speaker 3: French Embassy and these black tie parties, all these daytime lunches,
- 15:27Speaker 3: and so it'll be this Saturday. It should be pretty explosive.
- 15:32Speaker 3: So we got a lot to get to today. Hey,
- 15:34Speaker 3: the Mets curse. Some think it's over it because they
- 15:37Speaker 3: won last night. Although they won the game, but they
- 15:43Speaker 3: had a player, an important player, seriously injured. He'll be
- 15:46Speaker 3: out for a while, So I don't know, is that
- 15:47Speaker 3: still the curse could be. And let's say they now
- 15:51Speaker 3: start losing another couple of games. You know, before the
- 15:56Speaker 3: Mom Donnie Mister Met incident, they were they won seven
- 16:01Speaker 3: out of eleven. Now let's say this period they win
- 16:05Speaker 3: one out of eighteen. That's that sounds like the curse
- 16:07Speaker 3: is still there. So we'll see. We'll take some calls
- 16:11Speaker 3: in a minute. Eight hundred three to two one zero
- 16:14Speaker 3: seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one
- 16:18Speaker 3: zero seven ten.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Give wr obre said on the iHeartRadio app to hear
- 16:24Speaker 2: Marx Simone and all the WOR hosts in an instance.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Now back to the Mark Simon show on WR.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Hey, look at that, there's open lines. I've never seen
- 16:37Speaker 3: that before. This's like three open lines, eight hundred if
- 16:42Speaker 3: you want to call us eight hundred three two one
- 16:45Speaker 3: zero seven ten. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Let's go to Andy in New Jersey. Andy. How you doing, hey, Mark?
- 16:55Speaker 6: Our armed forces have a very sophisticated helicopter gunship. Why
- 17:00Speaker 6: doesn't one of these escort every vessel that we want
- 17:03Speaker 6: to get through the strait of her moves and if
- 17:05Speaker 6: a mosquito boat starts approaching, they can blow them out
- 17:08Speaker 6: of the water before they can get close enough to
- 17:09Speaker 6: do any harm.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Oh, we're already, We're already doing that. We have everything
- 17:13Speaker 3: we need. Anytime a mosquito boat shows up, we just
- 17:16Speaker 3: blow it out of the water. However, uh, the insurance
- 17:20Speaker 3: company still won't insure the ship when that stuff is going.
- 17:23Speaker 1: On, so okaks.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, right now, we could have tankers moving
- 17:28Speaker 3: through the strait. We'll just blow up any mosquito boat
- 17:31Speaker 3: that comes near it. But they won't move without the insurance.
- 17:34Speaker 3: And I don't blame them. It's millions and millions and
- 17:36Speaker 3: millions of the cost of the tanker, the cost of
- 17:39Speaker 3: the oil on it. So it's millions of dollars. If
- 17:42Speaker 3: they don't have the insurance, they're not moving. So right now,
- 17:45Speaker 3: it's Alloyd's a London problem. Let's go to uh, Carl
- 17:49Speaker 3: in Sayerville, New Jersey. Carl, How you doing fine?
- 17:52Speaker 7: How are you Mark?
- 17:53Speaker 1: Uh?
- 17:54Speaker 7: You know, it's just selection. If they had in Virginias today,
- 17:57Speaker 7: I heard they were going to have a problem with
- 17:58Speaker 7: the maybe the state Supreme Court going ahead with this.
- 18:04Speaker 7: There was some kind of discussion about that. Is that true?
- 18:08Speaker 7: Do you know?
- 18:08Speaker 3: Yeah, But don't worry about don't worry about Virginia. It
- 18:11Speaker 3: was I mean, the real problem it's not that there's
- 18:14Speaker 3: a sentiment towards the public. Sentiment is now for the Democrats.
- 18:20Speaker 3: That's not the case. If you look at that race,
- 18:23Speaker 3: the Republicans are unorganized down there. There's no machine, there's
- 18:27Speaker 3: no party. There was no turnout on the Republican side.
- 18:30Speaker 3: One thing, the same thing in New York. You see
- 18:32Speaker 3: that a lot. And you've seen that in other races,
- 18:35Speaker 3: either that Florida race, that Palm Beach race where the
- 18:38Speaker 3: Democrat won, there was no turnout on the Republican side.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Problem is Democrats are at war, and they're organized, and
- 18:45Speaker 3: they're at war, and it's like there's a vote even
- 18:48Speaker 3: for a little assemblies whatever it is. The Democrats can
- 18:52Speaker 3: get people to the polls like crazy, and Republicans aren't organized,
- 18:56Speaker 3: they don't do The problem is Democrats they got nothing
- 18:59Speaker 3: to do all they they're marching in no King's marches.
- 19:02Speaker 3: They're out there throwing things at ice to get you know,
- 19:04Speaker 3: they're organized, they're ready to go. Republicans are all busy.
- 19:07Speaker 3: They got the job, they got a family, they're going
- 19:11Speaker 3: to work, they're going to They're busy. They don't have
- 19:13Speaker 3: time for all this. So I don't know what you
- 19:15Speaker 3: do about that. Let's go to hal in Freeport. Hell,
- 19:18Speaker 3: How you doing?
- 19:19Speaker 1: Hey? You doing?
- 19:21Speaker 8: They were talking this morning about public urination.
- 19:25Speaker 3: I was talking about public urination.
- 19:27Speaker 8: Well, you know, when you gotta go, you gotta go.
- 19:30Speaker 8: But what they should Who was on the radio on
- 19:34Speaker 8: your station earlier this morning.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Curtis So He actually said, going into the break coming
- 19:40Speaker 3: up next public aronation.
- 19:42Speaker 8: Well that's what they're talking about. Anyway. I'm going to
- 19:45Speaker 8: solve the problem all these bikes on the sidewalks that
- 19:48Speaker 8: are riding around.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Yeah no, I left.
- 19:53Speaker 8: Oh okay, these bikes that are riding on the sidewalks.
- 19:57Speaker 8: Impound them. Strap to a call ahead on wheels the
- 20:02Speaker 8: call ahead parties and you hail hail hail a partty, right,
- 20:09Speaker 8: and you charge?
- 20:10Speaker 3: What the hell is this guy talking about? What's a
- 20:12Speaker 3: call ahead?
- 20:13Speaker 8: Call ahead? You know? Hail ahead?
- 20:16Speaker 3: What's a hail ahead?
- 20:17Speaker 8: The woman's gotta go tinkle? She called tinkle.
- 20:21Speaker 3: I haven't had that word in What is a call ahead?
- 20:24Speaker 3: Does anybody know what a call ahead is?
- 20:26Speaker 8: It's a portable party. The guys in now a beach
- 20:29Speaker 8: over there? Call ahead?
- 20:31Speaker 3: What call have you guys ever heard of a call ahead? No,
- 20:34Speaker 3: nobody in here has ever.
- 20:35Speaker 8: Heard of it. It's a company called call ahead.
- 20:38Speaker 3: You mean it's like an uber you call for a partty.
- 20:42Speaker 8: I'm designing it. When you steal. You take the bikes
- 20:45Speaker 8: off the streets that impound them, strap them to up a.
- 20:50Speaker 3: Ah, that's a great plan. I don't know one thing.
- 20:52Speaker 3: That guy said, What the hell? What the hell is
- 20:55Speaker 3: he talking?
- 20:56Speaker 1: Uh?
- 20:57Speaker 3: Call ahead, you know that might I guess that would
- 21:01Speaker 3: be a good business. You know, I remember when they
- 21:03Speaker 3: people are telling me about Uber. It sounded crazy, But yeah,
- 21:06Speaker 3: a company. If you're out there somewhere on the street,
- 21:09Speaker 3: you can call them. They'll show right up with a
- 21:12Speaker 3: porter partty and you can go and they'll take it away.
- 21:14Speaker 3: I guess that's a good business. Let's go to Nick
- 21:16Speaker 3: and Westchester. Nick, how you doing?
- 21:19Speaker 9: Hi? Mark, I'm calling about Sergeant Durian who was Yes,
- 21:24Speaker 9: he found guilty.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Of man guy that threw the cooler at the motorcycle.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Great copy out on bail. That's the good.
- 21:31Speaker 9: News, right, and the judge reason that he acted recklessly
- 21:36Speaker 9: in throwing the cooler at the guy on the on
- 21:39Speaker 9: the motorcycle. So my question is the January sixth, there
- 21:45Speaker 9: was a shooting by a Lieutenant Bird of the Capitol
- 21:48Speaker 9: Police Department of an unarmed woman.
- 21:52Speaker 3: And I can anticipate your question, Yeah, there's a double
- 21:56Speaker 3: standard here. You get these left wing kook judges. This
- 21:59Speaker 3: Capitol Hill cop bird shot Ashley Babbitt for no reason
- 22:03Speaker 3: at all. She was not doing anything. She was climbing
- 22:05Speaker 3: through a window, but there was no reason to shoot her.
- 22:08Speaker 3: He just took out his gun, nimed right at her
- 22:10Speaker 3: from ten feet away and just shot her, murdered her.
- 22:13Speaker 3: An army veteran shot her and killed her. This bird
- 22:17Speaker 3: has a history of crazy stuff with his gun, a
- 22:21Speaker 3: bad history. One time he fired out his window at
- 22:23Speaker 3: cars going. But this guy should be in jail. People
- 22:26Speaker 3: have talked to President Trump about doing something about it.
- 22:28Speaker 3: And it's the same thing with this. You know, in
- 22:31Speaker 3: January sixth, it was trespassing. That's what they were charged with.
- 22:34Speaker 3: Disorderly conduct, trespassing, disrupting and proceeding. Normally you get six
- 22:39Speaker 3: months or what. It was a double standard. They gave
- 22:42Speaker 3: him ten years twenty years solitary. And it's the same
- 22:44Speaker 3: thing here with this crazy judge. Even if Duran were
- 22:47Speaker 3: guilty of something, it's not nine years in jail. For instance,
- 22:51Speaker 3: the same judge there was a gang member beat a
- 22:54Speaker 3: homeless guy to death with his bare hands. He only
- 22:57Speaker 3: got like four months. So the judge arly left wing
- 23:01Speaker 3: cook with a ridiculous double standard. Hey, when we come back,
- 23:05Speaker 3: the Great Economist, Steve Moore, we'll be with us. We'll
- 23:08Speaker 3: get to Elizabeth Warren, the Fed and Moore with him
- 23:11Speaker 3: coming up on seven to ten wor Mark.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Simone on seven ten wor.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Well, we bring you the smartest people around. Steve Moore,
- 23:22Speaker 3: the Great Economist. You should get his book, The Trump
- 23:25Speaker 3: Economic Miracle. It's a great book. You read all of
- 23:29Speaker 3: his columns, you can watch him on television, you can
- 23:31Speaker 3: go to his He runs the Committee to Unleash Prosperity
- 23:35Speaker 3: and they put out the best daily briefing, news and analysis,
- 23:39Speaker 3: totally free. It'll come write to your email. You're gonna
- 23:41Speaker 3: sound much smarter if you read this every morning. Just
- 23:44Speaker 3: go to Unleashed Prosperity dot com. Sign up for the
- 23:47Speaker 3: hotline Unleash Prosperity dot com. Steve Moore, how you doing.
- 23:53Speaker 10: Hey, Mark, I'm doing really well. Thanks, looking looking good.
- 23:56Speaker 10: We got to get the straighter her moves open. When
- 23:59Speaker 10: we do that, we're going to see gas prices back
- 24:02Speaker 10: to three dollars a gallon. So I'm feeling really good
- 24:06Speaker 10: about things and the world's moving in our direction. But
- 24:09Speaker 10: I got to say this. I don't want to bail
- 24:11Speaker 10: out Spirit airline. I don't want a government takeover of
- 24:15Speaker 10: that airline. I think it's crazy.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Yeah. The only thing that could make an airline like
- 24:19Speaker 3: that even worse service wise is the government.
- 24:21Speaker 10: Running in exactly, it's like going to be Amtrak in
- 24:25Speaker 10: the sky. It was. You know, have you noticed the
- 24:29Speaker 10: last fifty years they keep saying, oh, you know, profitability
- 24:33Speaker 10: is right around the next corner, right, Yeah, we've waited
- 24:35Speaker 10: fifty years for that, So you know that's a bad idea.
- 24:37Speaker 10: The government should never be in the business mark you
- 24:40Speaker 10: know this. The government should never be in the business
- 24:42Speaker 10: of bailing out or subsidizing industries. It never works, and
- 24:46Speaker 10: it taxpayers always get screwed.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Yeah, hey, why isn't there a revolt about the government
- 24:53Speaker 3: overpays for anything they do by ten million percent. Every
- 24:56Speaker 3: supermarket tells me it's about two million dollars to open
- 25:00Speaker 3: a supermarket, Mom, Donnie's going to open a grocery store,
- 25:03Speaker 3: a little one for thirty million. Why why do we
- 25:07Speaker 3: let them waste all this money it's supposed to cost
- 25:10Speaker 3: two million.
- 25:12Speaker 10: Because socialists have good hearts. It's the more embrace of
- 25:14Speaker 10: socialism don't you understand that, Mark. I mean, and you
- 25:18Speaker 10: know this is worked so well in the Soviet Union.
- 25:20Speaker 10: I mean, things were so cheap. Of course, you had
- 25:22Speaker 10: to wait an hour in line to get in the store,
- 25:25Speaker 10: and when you got in the store the shelves were empty.
- 25:29Speaker 10: But boy, everything was so affordable.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Yeah. Hey, let's talk about the FED for a moment.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Kevin Warsh rough hearing, although he handled himself very well,
- 25:37Speaker 3: is he going to be our FED chairman?
- 25:40Speaker 11: Oh?
- 25:40Speaker 10: By the way, you know that Larry Cudlow and myself
- 25:44Speaker 10: and Art Laugher and Sea Forbes and you know, all
- 25:47Speaker 10: the supply side crowd were totally in favor of Kevin Walsh.
- 25:52Speaker 3: I think he is the.
- 25:53Speaker 10: Most qualified FED chairman since Alan Greenspan. He is going
- 25:58Speaker 10: to be superb in that job. I don't understand why
- 26:01Speaker 10: Democrats are paying playing politics with this. I've been in
- 26:04Speaker 10: washingt d C.
- 26:05Speaker 1: For forty years.
- 26:06Speaker 10: It was never political.
- 26:08Speaker 7: Now.
- 26:08Speaker 10: Look, Trump's a little bit been blamed here too because
- 26:11Speaker 10: he and he Andrew Poull don't get along so well,
- 26:14Speaker 10: do they. But you know the fact is that this
- 26:18Speaker 10: guy is super qualified. He is going to make the
- 26:20Speaker 10: dollar as good as goal. He's going to preserve them.
- 26:23Speaker 10: The dollar is the world reserve currency. He's going to
- 26:26Speaker 10: restore confidence in the American economy and the American dollar,
- 26:29Speaker 10: and that's what we want and that's what we need,
- 26:31Speaker 10: and we're going to bring inflation back down to below
- 26:33Speaker 10: two percent.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Yeah, but you said, I don't understand why they're playing poetics.
- 26:37Speaker 3: There's nobody Trump could have appointed that they wouldn't play politics.
- 26:42Speaker 10: Oh no, that's exactly right, Mark. And this is what's
- 26:44Speaker 10: so frustrating is that here this guy super qualified. He's
- 26:48Speaker 10: going to do all the right things on the economy.
- 26:50Speaker 10: He's not good.
- 26:50Speaker 8: Now.
- 26:51Speaker 10: Look, Trump's put him in a little tough position because
- 26:53Speaker 10: Trump said I want to lower interest rates. And I
- 26:56Speaker 10: thought that Kevin handled that very well with the hearing yesterday.
- 26:59Speaker 10: He said, I'm going to make my own decisions. Trump
- 27:01Speaker 10: has never, you know, commanded me to lower rates. I mean,
- 27:05Speaker 10: everybody knows that's what he wants. But I do believe
- 27:08Speaker 10: that Kevin will be independent, and I think he's he's
- 27:11Speaker 10: absolutely the perfect choice. And by the way, his qualifications
- 27:14Speaker 10: are amazing and there's nobody been more qualified than him,
- 27:18Speaker 10: and it just shows everything is political. I just want
- 27:21Speaker 10: to make sure people understand, this doesn't happen. This dispute
- 27:24Speaker 10: has nothing to do with Kevin Worsh. It's just the
- 27:26Speaker 10: Democrats hate Trump and they're opposed to anything he wants
- 27:29Speaker 10: to do, even if it's an America's interest, and it
- 27:32Speaker 10: is America's interest to get Kevin Worsh in there and
- 27:35Speaker 10: to get Jerome Powell out. Jerome Powell has been the
- 27:37Speaker 10: most political fed share ever ever because he hates Trump
- 27:42Speaker 10: so much.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Yeah, well, we hope it's Kevin Worsh. Yesterday thet he
- 27:49Speaker 3: had to testify in front of Congress Scott Bessen and
- 27:52Speaker 3: these they're yelling at them about tax breaks for the rich,
- 27:54Speaker 3: and why are you giving all this month the rich
- 27:56Speaker 3: tax cuts for the rich? This is one of the
- 27:58Speaker 3: greatest myths of all time, isn't it?
- 28:01Speaker 10: Sure is? I mean even the Washington Post, by the way,
- 28:04Speaker 10: you know, the Washington Post editorial board, which you know
- 28:07Speaker 10: was the most liberal you know, editorial board in the country. Uh,
- 28:12Speaker 10: just ten years ago even they had a big editorial
- 28:14Speaker 10: saying it's a myth that, you know, the rich don't
- 28:17Speaker 10: pay their fair share. The top one percent pay forty
- 28:20Speaker 10: percent of the income tax, you know, almost a record
- 28:23Speaker 10: high and by the way, the middle class got a
- 28:26Speaker 10: two thousand dollars to twenty five hundred dollars tax cut
- 28:30Speaker 10: in twenty twenty six. So the Democrats, you know, if
- 28:34Speaker 10: they had had their way, people would be paying twenty
- 28:37Speaker 10: five hundred dollars more in taxes this year. How's that
- 28:39Speaker 10: going to make things more affordable?
- 28:41Speaker 3: Hey, just go over that again, because if you actually
- 28:44Speaker 3: look at the facts, the rich don't pay their fair share.
- 28:46Speaker 3: They're paying way beyond their fair share. Say that again.
- 28:48Speaker 3: The top one percent pay what.
- 28:51Speaker 10: The top one out of one hundred Americans pay almost
- 28:55Speaker 10: forty percent of the entire income tax. The top ten
- 28:58Speaker 10: percent pay like eighty percent out of the income tax.
- 29:01Speaker 10: So the what the Washington You know, I've been saying
- 29:03Speaker 10: this for years and decades, but now we're in the
- 29:05Speaker 10: Washington Post is saying it. We have one of the
- 29:07Speaker 10: most progressive tax systems in the country. In fact, you know,
- 29:11Speaker 10: we would be much better off if we just had
- 29:13Speaker 10: a flat tax. Everybody paid say sixteen, seventeen, eighteen percent.
- 29:17Speaker 10: You get a deduction for you and your children, and
- 29:20Speaker 10: you don't get all these other craft deductions and loopholes
- 29:23Speaker 10: that oftentimes the rich take advantage of and make it
- 29:26Speaker 10: really simple. I mean, you know, Steve Forbes, I know
- 29:28Speaker 10: you have him on your show a lot. He's the
- 29:31Speaker 10: He's the godfather of this idea. You know, think of
- 29:34Speaker 10: We wouldn't have to have a massive IRS. We wouldn't
- 29:36Speaker 10: have to have you know, thousands and thousands of you know,
- 29:39Speaker 10: IRS agents. We wouldn't have to have tax accountants. It
- 29:42Speaker 10: would be so simple. You could do it in five
- 29:44Speaker 10: minutes and you know, at your bedtimetable.
- 29:47Speaker 3: I know. But Democrats would be up in arms. He's
- 29:49Speaker 3: trying to get rid of the IRS. He's trying to
- 29:51Speaker 3: get rid of our agents exactly. Hey, what do we
- 29:55Speaker 3: Steve Moore, what are we going to do about this jerrymandering?
- 29:59Speaker 10: Oh my god, this is such a disgrace. And by
- 30:02Speaker 10: the way, both sides are responsible for this. I'm not
- 30:05Speaker 10: going to blame one part of you or the other.
- 30:07Speaker 1: They're both.
- 30:08Speaker 10: And this is politicians basically using the rules to keep
- 30:12Speaker 10: themselves in office. That's what's going on here, and it
- 30:15Speaker 10: is outrageous. You know, Democrats love to rail about dangerous
- 30:18Speaker 10: democracy and we need representative government and we can't can't
- 30:22Speaker 10: dis in en franchise voters that's exactly what this does. Now,
- 30:26Speaker 10: what happened in Virginia is probably the most obscene version
- 30:31Speaker 10: of this, where a state that is, you know, I
- 30:33Speaker 10: live in Virginia. So we're fifty three percent Democrats roughly
- 30:36Speaker 10: and arout forty six and a half percent Republican something
- 30:39Speaker 10: like that. Not not exactly, but that's pretty close. But
- 30:42Speaker 10: under their jurymans, eleven seats kind of them will go
- 30:45Speaker 10: to Democrats and one will go to Republicans, so they
- 30:48Speaker 10: get ninety percent of the states even though they're only
- 30:51Speaker 10: fifty three percent of the population.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Well, but what we can do about this, I guess
- 30:55Speaker 3: Republicans can do it back to them, but that's not
- 30:57Speaker 3: really the answer. Shouldn't there be as.
- 31:01Speaker 10: Because yeah, so look what we need to do is
- 31:05Speaker 10: just have I don't know how you implement this, but
- 31:08Speaker 10: in Iowa, Iowa just has the computers do it. I mean,
- 31:11Speaker 10: this is twenty twenty six. The computers can do very
- 31:14Speaker 10: compact districts, and you take politics out of it. You know,
- 31:17Speaker 10: you basically say you put as many people in the
- 31:20Speaker 10: district as you can that's within the kind of perimeter
- 31:22Speaker 10: of the district. So you don't have these these lines
- 31:25Speaker 10: that look like snakes going through the uh through the district. Uh.
- 31:29Speaker 10: You know, I'm from Illinois. They have one district that
- 31:30Speaker 10: goes all the way from Chicago down to the border
- 31:33Speaker 10: of like Arkansas. It's like it's like two hundred and
- 31:37Speaker 10: eighty miles away. I mean, those are just outrageous jurymanders.
- 31:42Speaker 10: And I just have a computers pick that, you know,
- 31:44Speaker 10: set the perimeters of each district. You take politics out
- 31:48Speaker 10: of it. You have people voting with your neighbors. I mean,
- 31:50Speaker 10: we had something in the hotline today, I kind of
- 31:53Speaker 10: you get the outline by the way, folks, if you
- 31:54Speaker 10: don't get it, go to unleas prosperity dot com and
- 31:57Speaker 10: sign up for for free. But it was just a
- 31:59Speaker 10: cartoon and you know, the wife this apartment building and
- 32:03Speaker 10: the one person says to the person across the.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Aisle, you know the hall.
- 32:09Speaker 10: Oh they just during mandard you're in one district. That's
- 32:13Speaker 10: how crazy it's gotten.
- 32:14Speaker 3: Yeah, well that's my new fake.
- 32:17Speaker 10: You know, in democracy, you know we're supposed to have
- 32:20Speaker 10: the voters choose the politicians, right, we vote for the politicians.
- 32:24Speaker 10: Now what happens to the politicians choose their voters.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Yeah, that's my new fake name if I ever need that.
- 32:31Speaker 3: If I ever need a fake name, it's Jerry Manders.
- 32:37Speaker 3: So everybody get this hotline. It's the best daily briefing,
- 32:41Speaker 3: news and great analysis. You go to Unleash prosperity dot com,
- 32:46Speaker 3: sign up for the hotline Unleash Prosperity dot com, and
- 32:50Speaker 3: everybody gets Steve Moore's book, The Trump Economic Miracle. It's excellent. Well,
- 32:55Speaker 3: Steve Moore, great stuff, Thanks for being with us.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Thanks Mark, have a great day.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Take care. Hey. Coming up at noon today, you got
- 33:04Speaker 3: Buck and Clay, and Buck, by the way, has an
- 33:08Speaker 3: excellent new book out and it's called Manufacturing Delusion. In fact,
- 33:12Speaker 3: there's a book party tonight for Buck. But make sure
- 33:15Speaker 3: you get Buck Sexton's great new book and listen to
- 33:18Speaker 3: Buck and Clay at noon today and then at three o'clock.
- 33:22Speaker 3: You got the most listened to radio show in America,
- 33:25Speaker 3: Sean Hannity. You got Jesse Kelly at six and every
- 33:28Speaker 3: night at nine. Don't miss this. Just listen once. You'll
- 33:31Speaker 3: get hooked. It's very funny. It's a great show. It's
- 33:34Speaker 3: Jimmy Fayla every night at nine on seven to ten, wor.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Mister New York marks them all WLR.
- 33:44Speaker 3: Well, hey, we take a break for the news. Normally
- 33:47Speaker 3: during the news, I wander down the hallway. There are
- 33:50Speaker 3: kitchen there. I get another cup of coffee. I'm afraid
- 33:53Speaker 3: they'll go down there right now because it's bring your
- 33:55Speaker 3: kids to workday and they're all over the hallways. Every
- 33:59Speaker 3: salesperson and every executive, everybody that works has got their kids.
- 34:03Speaker 3: And then you have to say a lover to every kid.
- 34:06Speaker 3: They introduced the kids to everybody, but the kids are
- 34:08Speaker 3: like five, six years old. Nigga, this is Jim Kerr.
- 34:12Speaker 3: Kid's five. He doesn't know who Jim Kurr is. This
- 34:14Speaker 3: is w O R. The kid is four. You think
- 34:17Speaker 3: he's listening to talk radio? I think so. Even Elvis Duran.
- 34:24Speaker 3: This is Elvis Duran. Kids just looking. He's six. He
- 34:28Speaker 3: doesn't know what Zee one hunt. They don't now. Just
- 34:31Speaker 3: so you know, some facts came out yesterday and this
- 34:33Speaker 3: big presentation here. As far as radio goes, do you
- 34:38Speaker 3: know that more people listen to the radio today? Broadcast
- 34:42Speaker 3: radio more listeners today than twenty years ago. Now most
- 34:47Speaker 3: people are listening on Alexa smart speakers. You know what
- 34:49Speaker 3: the number one use of an Alexa smart speaker is
- 34:53Speaker 3: AMFM radio number one use of Alexa iHeart the most
- 34:59Speaker 3: used on a lect There's plenty of these. I'll give
- 35:03Speaker 3: you some more in the next hour. A So Jimmy
- 35:04Speaker 3: Fayla will be with us in the next hour. I
- 35:06Speaker 3: got a lots to talk to him about. I'm here
- 35:08Speaker 3: every day ten to noon or remember, you could listen anytime.
- 35:12Speaker 3: You don't listen ten to noon, listen anytime, just get
- 35:15Speaker 3: the podcast back right after the news on seven to
- 35:18Speaker 3: ten WR you.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Know what's why?
- 35:21Speaker 2: He tells you why marximone he's on seven ten wor.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Well, Hey, besides fake news, there's hidden news. They like
- 35:35Speaker 3: to hide it. They don't want anybody to know about it.
- 35:37Speaker 3: And there's a couple of big stories yesterday that the
- 35:41Speaker 3: media had to carefully hide make sure nobody heard about it.
- 35:44Speaker 3: One was the Southern Poverty Law Center, you know this
- 35:49Speaker 3: fake organization. Yeah, you should point out that Southern Poverty
- 35:52Speaker 3: Law Center in the previous century, especially in the sixties
- 35:56Speaker 3: and seventies, had been a good organization. It was trying
- 35:59Speaker 3: to keep the clan and other terrible things away from
- 36:03Speaker 3: certain Southern cities. They were trying to protect people. That's
- 36:07Speaker 3: back in the fifties, sixties, seventies, somewhere at the turn
- 36:12Speaker 3: of the century, at the end of the nineties, maybe
- 36:16Speaker 3: the late nineties, people got a hold of it and
- 36:19Speaker 3: said we could use this organization. It became a left
- 36:22Speaker 3: wing propaganda site. And if you were watching the old
- 36:26Speaker 3: MSNBC back in the Keith Oberman days, or you're listening
- 36:30Speaker 3: to Air America with Al Franken, you remember all that stuff.
- 36:34Speaker 3: Back in the George Bush George W. Bush era, they
- 36:38Speaker 3: would always quote these Southern Poverty Law Center studies shows that,
- 36:42Speaker 3: and they would quote this organization as if it were
- 36:46Speaker 3: some prestigious organization. It was a left wing, cheap, left
- 36:51Speaker 3: wing propaganda site, and they would declare anything republican, anything
- 36:56Speaker 3: conservative as a hate group. And MSNBC or CNN and
- 37:02Speaker 3: then that fake Wikipedia, which is Wikipedia is the most
- 37:05Speaker 3: left wing slanted, biased site, and they would always any
- 37:09Speaker 3: legitimate religious groups or anything republican. There's been officially declared
- 37:16Speaker 3: a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. There's
- 37:19Speaker 3: officially designated as a hate group. And you see a
- 37:22Speaker 3: lot of that in Wikipedia. Well, it turns out we
- 37:25Speaker 3: always knew it was a left wing slanted place but
- 37:28Speaker 3: it turns out not only were they slanting and biased
- 37:31Speaker 3: and lying, but according to the accusations actually indictments, the
- 37:37Speaker 3: Southern Poverty Law Center was now secretly paying people Nazi groups.
- 37:43Speaker 3: There are very few Nazi groups are Clan Luckily, there's
- 37:45Speaker 3: very few of these people. It's just a handful. And
- 37:49Speaker 3: white supremacists. There's like twelve of them in the country,
- 37:52Speaker 3: some in the Appalachian Mountains, some in the federal prisons.
- 37:54Speaker 3: But that's about it. But they were finding these people
- 37:57Speaker 3: and paying them poverty loss and her paying them to
- 38:01Speaker 3: cause riots, caused disruptions. They paid them to go to
- 38:04Speaker 3: Charlottesville and create trouble. And by having paid them to
- 38:10Speaker 3: show up someplace and created a disturbance, it it was
- 38:15Speaker 3: the way Joe Biden was able to campaign. Joe, remember
- 38:18Speaker 3: when Joe Biden launched his presidential campaign, it was about Charlottesville.
- 38:22Speaker 3: It was about fighting white supremacy, which wasn't a problem anywhere.
- 38:26Speaker 3: And that's whole the whole Biden campaign was about white supremacy.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Even throughout his presidency. You make these speeches about white
- 38:32Speaker 3: supremacy and it would con people. I remember at the time,
- 38:37Speaker 3: I'm watching Good Day in New York and Biden said
- 38:40Speaker 3: it so many times that Rosanna Scatto says to the
- 38:43Speaker 3: police commissioner. Dermot McShay was the commission at the time,
- 38:47Speaker 3: New York City Police commissioner, she said, what about this
- 38:49Speaker 3: white supremacy? Probably how bad is it New York? And
- 38:54Speaker 3: I give him credit. He said, you know, I really
- 38:56Speaker 3: don't know anything. Let me let me check into it,
- 38:58Speaker 3: let me investigate. I'll get back to tomorrow. So the
- 39:02Speaker 3: next day and good day in New York, she says,
- 39:04Speaker 3: We've gotten a response from the police commissioner. He investigated.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Here's his response. He wrote us a letter and she
- 39:11Speaker 3: read it. She said, New York City Police commissioner said,
- 39:15Speaker 3: our department has never encountered a white supremacist in New
- 39:18Speaker 3: York City. It was just a non existent thing being
- 39:21Speaker 3: pushed by this crazy Southern Poverty Law Center. So the
- 39:26Speaker 3: Justice Department finally went after them. They got a hold
- 39:28Speaker 3: of some whistleblowers who testified under oath to the Justice
- 39:33Speaker 3: deparmbattle this stuff. They took it into a grand jury.
- 39:36Speaker 3: People testified under oath. The grand jury has indicted the
- 39:39Speaker 3: Southern Poverty Law Center with eleven indictments, and it's pretty
- 39:44Speaker 3: serious stuff. Now. You could go watch the news last night,
- 39:49Speaker 3: you didn't see anything nothing about nothing, nothing, nothing. Now,
- 39:53Speaker 3: the New York Times tried to do a little damage
- 39:55Speaker 3: control for them and talked about the fine work that,
- 40:00Speaker 3: but they never gave you the full or real story
- 40:03Speaker 3: about the whole thing. Now, the other covered up story.
- 40:07Speaker 3: Do you remember we were talking about this last week?
- 40:10Speaker 3: Iran has been executing protesters. This has been going on
- 40:16Speaker 3: for about eight nine months, almost a year. During the
- 40:19Speaker 3: rebellions over there, they shot forty thousand protesters in the street.
- 40:24Speaker 3: Some of them didn't die, some of them ended up
- 40:26Speaker 3: in the hospital, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard was sent
- 40:31Speaker 3: into the hospitals to shoot these people in their hospital bed.
- 40:35Speaker 3: If they hadn't died, just shoot them right in the head.
- 40:38Speaker 3: They've been executing protesters, thirty forty thousand of them. And
- 40:42Speaker 3: last week there were four was it eight? And I
- 40:44Speaker 3: was eight additional protesters, young women, nice looking, young women
- 40:49Speaker 3: in their twenties, thirties. Protesters. They were captured. They were
- 40:54Speaker 3: going to be executed in public. They were going to
- 40:58Speaker 3: hang them in public. Can you imagine that? Can you
- 41:04Speaker 3: hear the screaming, Oh God, I hear these kids out
- 41:07Speaker 3: there screaming it's bring your kid to work day, and
- 41:11Speaker 3: then a soundproof studio. I got still here, this little brad.
- 41:13Speaker 3: I mean, I can still hear these children out there.
- 41:16Speaker 3: So where was I. Oh, Yeah, they were going to
- 41:18Speaker 3: execute these women, aid of them. They're going to hang
- 41:20Speaker 3: them in public televise. It hang these women. Now, all
- 41:25Speaker 3: the Democrats women's groups in America buried their head in
- 41:29Speaker 3: the sand. They don't want to know about it. They
- 41:30Speaker 3: don't want to do anything about it. So President Trump
- 41:32Speaker 3: is trying to restart the negotiations with Iran, and he
- 41:36Speaker 3: apparently went to the Iranian delegation and pleaded with them
- 41:41Speaker 3: not to execute these women and said, if you, if
- 41:44Speaker 3: you don't execute them, cancel this execution. It'll be a
- 41:48Speaker 3: very good start for you. It'll be a good thing
- 41:50Speaker 3: in the negotiation. He does that a lot. It's one
- 41:53Speaker 3: of his tactics. When you're negotiating with a really tough
- 41:56Speaker 3: opponent Iran or somebody, you ask for something before then gootiation.
- 42:00Speaker 3: Just say just give me this and it'll put you
- 42:04Speaker 3: ahead of me. I'll owe you going into the negotiation.
- 42:06Speaker 3: It sounds good to the other side, so they do it.
- 42:08Speaker 3: So they canceled the execution. After Trump pleaded with them,
- 42:13Speaker 3: they announced they would not execute these women. The eight
- 42:17Speaker 3: protesters who are going to be executed tonight in Iran
- 42:19Speaker 3: will no longer be killed. This according to the White House,
- 42:23Speaker 3: four will be released immediately and the other four will
- 42:27Speaker 3: be sentenced to one month in prison. That's an amazing
- 42:30Speaker 3: story that he stopped their execution and got their freedom.
- 42:36Speaker 3: And even more amazing it didn't make the news, didn't
- 42:40Speaker 3: get reported anywhere. It wasn't on the news, no reporting
- 42:44Speaker 3: except for the New York Times did one of their
- 42:47Speaker 3: fake stories. Wow, it was never clear that they were
- 42:49Speaker 3: going to be executed. We think that was fake news.
- 42:51Speaker 3: The whole story to begin with. We don't know that
- 42:53Speaker 3: there was going to be any execution. All right, what
- 42:56Speaker 3: do you think about this? The House committee that's investigating
- 42:59Speaker 3: the Epstein's stuff, apparently it's talked to Gallaine Maxwell and
- 43:06Speaker 3: they're thinking of getting her a pardon. The House Committee
- 43:09Speaker 3: could go to the President ask him to pardon Gallainne Maxwell.
- 43:13Speaker 3: Now this would be in exchange for telling everything she
- 43:17Speaker 3: knows about Epstein everything. What do you think? Well, in
- 43:22Speaker 3: the committee, half the people are for it. Half the
- 43:25Speaker 3: people are against it. They're totally split on whether to
- 43:28Speaker 3: get her a pardon. Now the Epstein files are up online.
- 43:32Speaker 3: It's like six million pages, literally, and it has a
- 43:36Speaker 3: search bar. You can search anything in there, and it's
- 43:40Speaker 3: pretty detailed. Now, I got a couple of friends who
- 43:44Speaker 3: are very, very very tied up with Epstein, very close
- 43:50Speaker 3: to Epstein, and a couple of them I knew were
- 43:52Speaker 3: involved in the women, not young girls. The young girls
- 43:56Speaker 3: was Epstein personally. Most of these guys. It was just women.
- 44:01Speaker 3: So I'd go to the Epstein files and I would
- 44:03Speaker 3: look them up, and boy, I mean, it's pretty juicy
- 44:08Speaker 3: the stuff in there. You can read these Epstein files
- 44:11Speaker 3: about him and the women and all these the sleazy
- 44:14Speaker 3: guys writing back and forth. I don't know why, but
- 44:17Speaker 3: they put all this in writing. I would never text
- 44:20Speaker 3: that stuff or put that in an email, but they
- 44:22Speaker 3: did back and forth talking about these women. And then
- 44:26Speaker 3: there was a million other things in the file about
- 44:28Speaker 3: him a lot. He was a big stuck Like a
- 44:31Speaker 3: lot of wealthy guys, they get starstruck. They're the most
- 44:34Speaker 3: starstruck people in the world, these billionaires, and if they
- 44:37Speaker 3: can latch onto any celebrity and try to get them
- 44:40Speaker 3: to come to their dinners, come to their lunches, meet
- 44:43Speaker 3: their friends, come to their parties. They'll do it. And
- 44:46Speaker 3: some were vulnerable, like Woody Allen had nothing to do
- 44:49Speaker 3: with women. Woody Allen, after his scandal years ago, could
- 44:54Speaker 3: not get financing from anybody in Hollywood. No major studio
- 44:58Speaker 3: would back them. To find guys like Epstein, you know,
- 45:02Speaker 3: starstruck billionaires who wanted to pretend they were movie producers
- 45:06Speaker 3: and would give him the funding for his movie. So
- 45:08Speaker 3: he was at a million Epstein lunches and dinners just
- 45:10Speaker 3: because Epstein agreed to fund his films. He dragged in
- 45:14Speaker 3: Dick Cavit. Dick Cavit had nothing to do with anything
- 45:16Speaker 3: sleazy with Epstein, was lunches and dinners. They had to,
- 45:20Speaker 3: you know, sit there and talk to all Epstein's friends
- 45:22Speaker 3: and impress them. And what Kaviot wanted. He wanted it.
- 45:25Speaker 3: There was a PBS special on him. And when they
- 45:29Speaker 3: do these PBS specials, you have to get the funding.
- 45:32Speaker 3: If you can get it funded, PBS will do it
- 45:34Speaker 3: and run it. So Cabot wanted to Epstein to fund
- 45:37Speaker 3: the PBS special about him, stuff like that. So but
- 45:43Speaker 3: you can read these Epstein files and they're pretty detailed.
- 45:46Speaker 3: So I don't know what we need Glaine to testify about.
- 45:53Speaker 3: And it looks like she was the pimp, dragging in
- 45:56Speaker 3: a lot of these young girls and arranging a lot
- 45:59Speaker 3: of stuff. But what do you think would you give
- 46:02Speaker 3: her a part in an exchange for that? I don't know,
- 46:04Speaker 3: and we'll see where that goes. Kathy Hochel, she's gonna
- 46:09Speaker 3: have a tough time. Bruce Blakeman would be the best
- 46:11Speaker 3: governor for New York. He's a great candidate. He was
- 46:14Speaker 3: always good, but now he's much better. I've been watching
- 46:16Speaker 3: him speak. He's powerful, he's really moving audiences. And she's
- 46:21Speaker 3: getting crazier and crazier with her tax they're rich, make
- 46:24Speaker 3: them pay their fair share.
- 46:25Speaker 12: I need people who are high net worth to support
- 46:29Speaker 12: the generous social programs that we want to have in
- 46:31Speaker 12: our state. Right now, there are some patriotic millionaires who
- 46:36Speaker 12: stepped up. Okay, cut me the checks. I mean, just
- 46:40Speaker 12: if you want to be supportive. But maybe the first
- 46:43Speaker 12: step should we go down to Palm Beach and see
- 46:45Speaker 12: who you can bring back home.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, these millionaires and billionaires, they are the
- 46:51Speaker 3: most generous people on Earth. I know from working with them,
- 46:53Speaker 3: especially with charities. If you go to them with a
- 46:56Speaker 3: great charity and you show them what you're doing. You know,
- 46:59Speaker 3: if you're the like the Police Athletic League, which is
- 47:01Speaker 3: the best children's charity, and you show them exactly what
- 47:05Speaker 3: you're getting done and how the money's being spent, they
- 47:08Speaker 3: will write you a massive check just like that. It's amazing.
- 47:12Speaker 3: They do it all the time. They're generous. But if
- 47:17Speaker 3: you're the government with your social programs and they take
- 47:19Speaker 3: one look at it and they find out you're overpaying
- 47:22Speaker 3: by fifty thousand percent for everything, it's a total waste
- 47:27Speaker 3: of money. You're totally reckless. With their doubts. Why the
- 47:30Speaker 3: hell shod they want to fund your social program Remember
- 47:33Speaker 3: Deblasio sent up those daycare centers, daycare centers for everybody,
- 47:36Speaker 3: and they put them all over New York. They spent
- 47:39Speaker 3: hundreds and millions of taxpayer dollars on the daycare centers.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Well now it's years later and people are looking at
- 47:45Speaker 3: them and apparently most of them never got used, never
- 47:49Speaker 3: even opened the doors. They put them in the wrong places.
- 47:52Speaker 3: It's a government. Government has no idea how to do anything.
- 47:56Speaker 3: They didn't do any kind of research or marketing or
- 47:59Speaker 3: figure out exactly where they were needed. That's true. So
- 48:03Speaker 3: they were empty and then people have looked at them
- 48:06Speaker 3: now find out most of the buildings are totally decaying
- 48:11Speaker 3: in shambles and have been sitting empty. And we've been
- 48:14Speaker 3: paying rent, We've been paying all sorts of stuff taxes
- 48:17Speaker 3: on it. We've been just wasting the money. This is
- 48:19Speaker 3: hundreds of millions just wasted on daycare centers that were
- 48:22Speaker 3: put in the wrong place and never used. So again,
- 48:26Speaker 3: if you're a rich person, why not, Why wuldn't you
- 48:28Speaker 3: give it? You'll definitely give it to a private charity
- 48:31Speaker 3: spending it correctly. You can research that. But but government programs,
- 48:38Speaker 3: it's just all total fraud and waste. Hey, everybody loves diners.
- 48:44Speaker 3: Everybody loves to go to a diner. Things have changed.
- 48:46Speaker 3: It's a different world now. And on the good old days,
- 48:49Speaker 3: you'd be out in clubs all night and then at
- 48:51Speaker 3: four in the morning you go to the diner. It
- 48:53Speaker 3: doesn't really happen anymore. People aren't out till four in
- 48:56Speaker 3: the morning much anymore. The club world is different. It's
- 48:58Speaker 3: all different. So the twenty four hour diners. They're closing
- 49:02Speaker 3: at midnight eleven and many of them are going away.
- 49:06Speaker 3: New Jersey is like the diner capital of this area.
- 49:10Speaker 3: Four Jersey diners have announced their closure in the last
- 49:14Speaker 3: few months. Four the Coach House Diner twenty four hours
- 49:18Speaker 3: Root four Hackensack closed suddenly last week, all of a sudden.
- 49:23Speaker 3: There was a note on the door for staff and
- 49:26Speaker 3: customers saying it was purchased by El car Wash. It's
- 49:29Speaker 3: about to become a car wash. Markana Diner Main Street,
- 49:33Speaker 3: West Orange closed last month. It was one of the
- 49:38Speaker 3: few twenty four hour diners left in the state. Also
- 49:41Speaker 3: last month, Gotham City diner Ridgefield said it would close,
- 49:45Speaker 3: but that it's sister diner Fairloan would remain open. They're
- 49:49Speaker 3: going away, Hey, Long Island. Same thing, all those great
- 49:54Speaker 3: twenty four hour diners, one by one, they're vanishing. West Chester, Connecticut.
- 49:58Speaker 3: You're losing a lot of di And it's still a
- 50:00Speaker 3: couple around, but it's not the same and twenty four
- 50:03Speaker 3: hours forget it not anymore. Well anyway, let me know
- 50:08Speaker 3: what you think. One eight hundred three to two one
- 50:11Speaker 3: zero seven ten is the number. One eight hundred three
- 50:14Speaker 3: two one zero seven ten.
- 50:16Speaker 1: Oh.
- 50:17Speaker 3: Also, you ever watched that crazy show The View. It's
- 50:20Speaker 3: a real low IQ kind of listen. You have high
- 50:22Speaker 3: IQ shows, low IQ shows, Rachel Maddow. I guess that
- 50:26Speaker 3: would be the high IQ left wing show, The View.
- 50:30Speaker 3: That's like the low IQ left wing show. But they
- 50:33Speaker 3: just say anything and everything. They never know what the
- 50:35Speaker 3: hell they're talking about. Woo Be Goldberg on The View,
- 50:38Speaker 3: a draft is coming. She tried to scare the audience
- 50:42Speaker 3: president Trump is planning to institute a draft to go
- 50:45Speaker 3: fight in Iran. She also she said America under President
- 50:51Speaker 3: Trump has run out of gas. We're running out of gas.
- 50:54Speaker 3: She doesn't know what the hell she's talking about. We
- 50:56Speaker 3: have more gas than we could ever use. We were
- 51:01Speaker 3: under Biden we produced four million barrels a day. Under Trump,
- 51:04Speaker 3: we produce fourteen million barrels a day. We could never
- 51:07Speaker 3: use that much. In fact, we have so much excess gas.
- 51:10Speaker 3: We are the biggest exporter of gas now in the world.
- 51:14Speaker 3: We produce fourteen million barrels a day. The Saudi's only
- 51:17Speaker 3: produced eight million a day. We have so much gas.
- 51:20Speaker 3: Where the biggest seller of gas in the world. We
- 51:22Speaker 3: export gas more than anybody, And a draft they'll never
- 51:26Speaker 3: be a draft. First of all, we're not going to
- 51:28Speaker 3: have a ground war. And second of all, the army,
- 51:31Speaker 3: the military, the Pentagon will explain they can't use draft
- 51:35Speaker 3: ese anymore. Can't be done. It's not the old days
- 51:39Speaker 3: of infantry with a rifle, you know, the old days
- 51:42Speaker 3: they teach you how to march and teach you how
- 51:44Speaker 3: to use a rifle. Nothing like that anymore. Today's military
- 51:48Speaker 3: is so high tech. It's all digital, it's all computerized,
- 51:52Speaker 3: it's all the stuff. It's so high tech. It takes
- 51:55Speaker 3: a year and a half, two years to train somebody,
- 51:58Speaker 3: So a two year draftd be no point, no point.
- 52:02Speaker 3: We can't use draft and he's never going to be
- 52:03Speaker 3: a draft ever again. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next
- 52:06Speaker 3: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 52:11Speaker 2: Get hits in access to Mark by setting a free
- 52:14Speaker 2: set in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and
- 52:17Speaker 2: his podcast now Doctor, the Mark Simone Show on w
- 52:22Speaker 2: o R.
- 52:23Speaker 3: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Jeff in Texas. Jeff,
- 52:27Speaker 3: how you doing good?
- 52:29Speaker 13: Good? Let fall down the Maxwell.
- 52:33Speaker 3: Hello, Yeah, you said I got an echo? What are
- 52:35Speaker 3: you in the bathroom?
- 52:37Speaker 13: No? Uh, I'm on you on my APP. I have
- 52:41Speaker 13: a hearing agent and app goes right into the Okay,
- 52:44Speaker 13: oh that's how that works. Yeah, I wouldn't be able
- 52:47Speaker 13: to hear you without so all right, anyway, I apologize
- 52:51Speaker 13: for the echo anyway. I think as far as Max
- 52:54Speaker 13: Fwell's concerned, if I'm her, I'm thinking, I'm saying in jail,
- 52:58Speaker 13: because that's to say, place for me to be.
- 53:01Speaker 10: How did you? I don't know.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Look at Jeffrey Epstein, it wasn't so safe for him.
- 53:05Speaker 13: Yeah, that's true. But right now, as follows, her situation
- 53:10Speaker 13: is nothing has happened, and she's probably got information that
- 53:14Speaker 13: certain people don't want publicas. That's that's just my opinion. O.
- 53:18Speaker 3: Now, it could be, but it's different now because the
- 53:20Speaker 3: Epstein files are out. Everybody, well, I don't know that.
- 53:24Speaker 3: You know, it's gonna say everybody that was involved as
- 53:27Speaker 3: in those files. But like I said before, I can't
- 53:30Speaker 3: believe these guys are texting all this stuff to them,
- 53:32Speaker 3: typing all this stuff and the emails. Maybe there were
- 53:34Speaker 3: some guys are smart enough only to do it over
- 53:36Speaker 3: the phone. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike, how
- 53:39Speaker 3: you doing good?
- 53:41Speaker 1: Morning, Mark.
- 53:41Speaker 14: Yes, Mike, you were talking earlier about the Republicans not
- 53:46Speaker 14: having a ground game when it comes through many of
- 53:49Speaker 14: these issues through jerry mandering. Their boat in Virginia is
- 53:52Speaker 14: the most recent one, and the conversation you had with
- 53:54Speaker 14: Steve Moore kind of illustrates part of the problem. And
- 53:57Speaker 14: he's not the only one who does this on as
- 53:59Speaker 14: a republic can pundit. But they Republicans always like to
- 54:02Speaker 14: make it a two sided argument. You know, they'll say, well,
- 54:05Speaker 14: the Democrats did this, but we're just as bad. The
- 54:07Speaker 14: Democrats never make that argument. Their arguments are always one sided.
- 54:12Speaker 14: You will never hear a Democrat say we have to
- 54:15Speaker 14: chovrymander because we're just as bad as the Republican.
- 54:18Speaker 15: You'll never hear him say that.
- 54:19Speaker 1: Whatever the issue is, I mean, it's you.
- 54:22Speaker 3: Got to remember, it's different for them. They got the
- 54:24Speaker 3: media to cover up for them if they do. Republicans
- 54:27Speaker 3: say one false word, it's a fact checked all over
- 54:29Speaker 3: the place.
- 54:30Speaker 11: It's true.
- 54:31Speaker 14: But it's why Republicans have to be even more strident.
- 54:33Speaker 14: And you know, but and you know, I don't tell
- 54:36Speaker 14: you the.
- 54:36Speaker 16: Democrats don't care, but it's the truth.
- 54:38Speaker 14: They're they're getting a point. They're making a point.
- 54:40Speaker 3: Yeah, but again they got media air cover. You're right,
- 54:44Speaker 3: and I don't think you can say that, Donald Trump,
- 54:46Speaker 3: you need to be more strident. I don't think you
- 54:48Speaker 3: can say that.
- 54:49Speaker 14: No, that's well, he's but he's the only one that's
- 54:51Speaker 14: that's the problem.
- 54:52Speaker 3: That's true. That's a good point. Everybody should be more
- 54:55Speaker 3: Trump like. All right, thanks for calling. Let's go to
- 54:57Speaker 3: Pete and Queen's Pete.
- 54:59Speaker 1: How you doing, Mark, how's life?
- 55:02Speaker 10: How's things?
- 55:03Speaker 3: Let me check? Everything looks good, Everything looks.
- 55:06Speaker 16: Good, fantastic.
- 55:07Speaker 15: Well, before you went the commercial break, you were talking
- 55:10Speaker 15: about how much oil we produce, and that's straight. The
- 55:13Speaker 15: President actually said that we don't really need but the
- 55:16Speaker 15: prices here are still so very high. And maybe you
- 55:19Speaker 15: discuss this, and maybe I miss didn't. I apologize if
- 55:21Speaker 15: you gave the explanation, But could you just explain this
- 55:24Speaker 15: to me? If we are producing so much and have
- 55:26Speaker 15: so much, no reason why?
- 55:27Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right, absolutely right. There's absolutely no reason that
- 55:31Speaker 3: we raise the price of oil. We have all our
- 55:33Speaker 3: own oil, produce it ourselves. We don't have to raise
- 55:36Speaker 3: it to match the worldwide price, which has nothing to
- 55:39Speaker 3: do with us but the oil companies do it because
- 55:42Speaker 3: they like to raise the price. Now we could order them, hey,
- 55:44Speaker 3: put it back to where it's supposed to be, don't
- 55:46Speaker 3: raise it artificially to match the rest of the world. Now,
- 55:49Speaker 3: the problem is if you did that, if you force
- 55:51Speaker 3: them to do that, and then they'll start producing less oil,
- 55:54Speaker 3: they'll claim they've got problems, they'll shut down some production
- 55:58Speaker 3: and they'll produce last in order to cause a price spike.
- 56:02Speaker 3: So you got that little problem. So you could solve
- 56:06Speaker 3: the problem of them deliberately for no reason all raising
- 56:08Speaker 3: the price to match the rest of the world. But
- 56:11Speaker 3: it's not worth fighting with them because all you got
- 56:13Speaker 3: to do is wait about four or five weeks and
- 56:15Speaker 3: then things will be sold. And once this rand situation
- 56:19Speaker 3: is straightened out, you're gonna see oil plunge. It's going
- 56:23Speaker 3: to go to sixty dollars a barrel, which will be
- 56:26Speaker 3: absolutely amazing. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent. How
- 56:30Speaker 3: you doing.
- 56:31Speaker 16: Good morning, Mark, Good morning Matra Mark. How could we
- 56:34Speaker 16: be running out of gas? Where we have the four
- 56:37Speaker 16: gas bag ladies on the view. They could power all
- 56:41Speaker 16: our barbecues for the fourth to jarge July, Mark ma'am,
- 56:46Speaker 16: and Dami, as we all know, is all smoking mirrorage
- 56:49Speaker 16: here yesterday on Earth Day, he's talking about ripping up
- 56:53Speaker 16: more streets, adding more trees and bike lanes. Meanwhile, the
- 56:59Speaker 16: people Saint Auban's Queens, where that poor fifteen year old
- 57:03Speaker 16: kid was shot. The mother was saying, Mandami goes to
- 57:07Speaker 16: visit the criminal who tried to stab the cops in
- 57:11Speaker 16: his mother and they had to defend themselves. Meanwhile, he didn't,
- 57:15Speaker 16: he didn't pay her a visit at all. He didn't
- 57:19Speaker 16: go to that community. He's clearly for the criminals. The
- 57:24Speaker 16: mother said, well, he didn't come to visit me. He
- 57:27Speaker 16: didn't come to pay his respects. And if you were
- 57:30Speaker 16: to ask any person who doesn't have purple hair in
- 57:35Speaker 16: those rings in the city of New York, what would you.
- 57:38Speaker 11: Want more trees and bike lanes or safer streets and
- 57:44Speaker 11: safer subways where we don't have maniacs pushing baby carriages
- 57:49Speaker 11: and leaving their kid alone in a baby carriage in
- 57:53Speaker 11: Times Square like that the homeless couple did the other night.
- 57:57Speaker 3: Well, Vincent, that's a great point. At some point, good call.
- 58:00Speaker 3: As always, we got to go for the news and
- 58:01Speaker 3: then when we come back. The great comedian and talk
- 58:05Speaker 3: show host. Now every night at nine on wo R,
- 58:07Speaker 3: Jimmy Tayla will be with us.
- 58:09Speaker 2: Next back to Mark Simone on WOR.
- 58:14Speaker 3: Well, every night at nine, Jimmy Fayla does a great show.
- 58:18Speaker 3: It's every night at nine here on w o R,
- 58:20Speaker 3: nine to midnight Monday through Friday. And you know on
- 58:24Speaker 3: the weekends on Saturday night does the best late night
- 58:27Speaker 3: show on television on the Fox News Channel. Saturday Night's
- 58:30Speaker 3: at ten. And he's with us right now, Jimmy Fayla,
- 58:33Speaker 3: How you doing.
- 58:35Speaker 1: I'm doing. I'm down in DC right now and I'm
- 58:39Speaker 1: about to head over to the White House. I got
- 58:41Speaker 1: a big day ouat of me. Marks. I'm a soon,
- 58:43Speaker 1: assuming I can get through security. It's going to be
- 58:45Speaker 1: a big day.
- 58:45Speaker 3: Wow. President Trump loves your Saturday night show. He's a
- 58:48Speaker 3: big fan of it. What are you gonna be doing
- 58:49Speaker 3: at the White House?
- 58:51Speaker 1: Well, I am so this weekend I'm hosting obviously Fox's
- 58:55Speaker 1: live coverage of the White House Correspondence Dinner. It's to
- 58:58Speaker 1: be It's gonna start at nine pm. A Trump is speaking,
- 59:01Speaker 1: and they basically have me hosting a three hour red
- 59:03Speaker 1: carpet show because they don't want me anywhere near an
- 59:07Speaker 1: open bar, as you'd imagine. You know what, it's not
- 59:11Speaker 1: enough to do your hour, You've got to do everyone
- 59:12Speaker 1: else's hour too, so we know where you are at
- 59:14Speaker 1: all time. But today at the White House, we're gonna
- 59:18Speaker 1: be shooting footage that will air during that during that show,
- 59:22Speaker 1: so we got to interview a couple of our White
- 59:23Speaker 1: House correspondents, Peter Doocy, Jackie Heinrich, and I may or
- 59:27Speaker 1: may not have an audience with the President later in
- 59:29Speaker 1: the day, depending on how a schedule looks. So this
- 59:31Speaker 1: is the camp before the storm. Man, I just got
- 59:33Speaker 1: to get my act together and as long as I
- 59:36Speaker 1: can get my cocaine out of the White House soccers
- 59:38Speaker 1: as the wind well.
- 59:39Speaker 3: President Trump has quite an ear to the ground. He'll
- 59:44Speaker 3: know you're in the building. If he knows you're in
- 59:46Speaker 3: the building, he'll come find you because he's a big
- 59:48Speaker 3: fan of yours.
- 59:48Speaker 1: That'll be funny, so it would be too cool.
- 59:52Speaker 3: I guarantee by the end of the day you'll be
- 59:53Speaker 3: in a conversation with him.
- 59:55Speaker 1: So I will keep you posted. Man, you never know.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: This White House Correspondents Dinner President by the way is
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: one of the great greatest roaster ever in politics. He's
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: done a million Friars Club roast, a dozen Comedy Central roasts.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: He's an incredible roaster at the Al Smith dinner, He's
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: going to let these fake news people have it Saturday night.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: What do you think they're going to do to respond?
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: That's what I think is going to be interesting because
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: there's going to be half the room will be there
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: to protest and the other half I think will get it.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Meaning this is an opportunity for a Kumbai moment. But
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: I don't know that Trump wants one. That's my that's
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: my concern. You know, Trump and the you know the
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: media have this Hatfield McCoy thing going on, and I
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: think he kind of enjoys that. So my expectation for
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: real is that he probably is working with some comedy
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: writers and they're probably going to go on offense. I
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: would expect him to go on offense. Hopefully he self deprecates,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: justin not that the media can you know, bear being
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: the subject of a joke, which is hard for a
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: lot of those egos. But it's a spectacle like I'll
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: be there. I'm like, I will be on the red
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: carpet nine to midnight. I'll be inside the dinner watching
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: the whole thing like I want a heckle man. It's
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: gonna be really lively, And I think my only concern
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: is the guy aster Trump is the mentalist. You know
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: what was the mentalist? O was Pearlman? Yeah, Oz, Yeah,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: that's right. He's a brilliant guy. Okay. My concern is
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: he's gonna guess the nuclear codes get us in trouble.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: So I got to keep that guy in check and
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: see where the Trump thing goes.
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, I don't understand. See like you on stage,
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: you still tour all over the country. Unbelievable on stage, energy,
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: loud volume, you like fill the room. That's a mentalist
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: with a deck of cards. How do you play that?
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: Three thousand people in a ballroom?
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Tricks a lot of the same questions you have. You know,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: you're used to like the high a Kane thing. But
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: I've had him on my TV show a few times.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: He is a very charismatic guy. And because he knows
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: where the trick is going, you know, he kind of
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: in his head has a lot of room to tell
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: you jokes along the way because he's kind of leading
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: the witness through his little narrative.
- 1:02:17Speaker 10: So I would actually expect him to do.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: Better then if I was there two years ago they
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: had Colin jokes from Saturday Night Live. He just bombed
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: like it was tough man. Not only did he like
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: it not work, but he you know, he was he
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: accepted the fact that it wasn't working early on and
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: never tried to turn it around. Meaning it's comedians. If
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: your jokes aren't going over, you start to make jokes
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: about how your jokes aren't working. You know, that's your
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: way to get the thing back on track and turn
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: it into a win. And he didn't do that. He
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: just shouted the jokes into the night sky. They fell flat,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: He'd make a smirk and he'd move on. And I
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: would expect, oh, is I'm not kidding, to do better
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: than most common just because his approach is a little broader,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Like he's not going to be telling jokes based on
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: the results of the Virginia special election on Tuesday night,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: which will help with the audience.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: Yeah, hey, I know you guys don't like people looking
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: under the hood, but explain some technique here, like like
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: Joe still come out and he's a little quiet but
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: real Comediancy you another careal comman. You know how to
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: come out and boom. Just take charge of the room.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: It's about volume, it's about movement. Explain that a little.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Well, this is the truth. In comedy. People always say,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: you know you hear the phrase read the room used
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: a lot in politics, but in comedy you have to
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: you have to lead the room. You have to lead
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: the room like and if everybody listening things back to
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: like a Rodney Dangerfield, you know when they shoot him
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: out of a cannon. He absolutely positively came out there
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: and led the room, told his jokes, bounced around the stage,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: made some faces, reacted to the crowd. He was very
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: much in command. That is the key to being a
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: successful comic. And you have to be in command of
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: the room. So if you think about it like you're
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: an air force you know you're an airline pilot. The
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: pilot doesn't read the room. He doesn't say, if it's
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: okay with you, we're third in line. We're gonna go
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: up to thirty seven thousand feet. He says, no, we're third,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: taking all put your seatbelts on, shut up, thank you
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: for line Delta that whole thing. Yeah, well, that's what
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: you gotta do. You got to lead the room. You
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: got to be in control.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, you're worried about being nervous, but you
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: don't want to make the audience nervous. You got to
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: come out there like you're in charge. Don't worry, You're
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: in good hands. I can take care of this and yeah.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: So yeah, because the other thing is, man, you're selling fun.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: You're selling them a good time. So if you're having
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: a good time, it's a lot easier for them to
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: have one with you. That's why the other late night
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: comics and even Colin Jos didn't do good at that roast.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: It's because they don't look like they're there in the
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: name of fun. You know, if you show up to
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: a comedy show and the guy's scowling, you're not going like, okay,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: get ready for some fun. Everybody is going to go.
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: Now. You do the best.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: That's the big challenge.
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: Yeah, you do you do the best late night show
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: on television Saturday nights at ten, you watch Kimmel or
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: Colbert come out, they look like they're going to commit
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: suicide later that night. They look so angry and bitter.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: I know, I haven't seen a group of people that
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: upset since Mondani hugged the mes mascot. You know, it's
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: put them on a twelve game losing streak. But you're right,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: and they don't. And that's the point that drives me
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: crazy as a TV host is we have the most
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: unique jobs in the world when it comes to late
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: night comedy. There's not a lot of them out there.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: If you're lucky enough to have one. I think you
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: owe a debt to everyone who did this before us
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: to kind of do it in that traditional style. I
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: don't mean you can't come up with your own scance
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: of your own jokes. Obviously you should, but in terms
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: of the intent of the programming, it should be there
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: to bargain with the viewer in good faith, not to
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: tell them fascists are about to take away our elections
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: and women don't have rights.
- 1:05:53Speaker 11: You know.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: It's just above till you know when you watch those
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: concerts where they start lecturing you about climate change halfway
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: through and.
- 1:05:59Speaker 8: You're like, dude, shut up.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: We were dancing. I was trying to get this girl's
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: phone number, and now you just told me the Ozone's
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: gonna kill us all way to go Springsteen.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's fifty years later and the ozone hasn't
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: caused the problem. But they uh White House, Chrispines Dinner
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: is uh Saturday night. You'll be hosting nine to midnight
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: this week. That'll be great. And then and you know
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: they got all these parties every night. You're going to
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: any of those?
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Yeah, man, we'll make the round tonight and tomorrow. What's
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: interesting about these is you see all the other TV
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: hosts there from the other network, So it's like kind
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: of a chance to mix, you know, mix friends a
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: little bit. Not that they're all very friendly, but I
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: get a kick. I get a kick out of going
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: to these things. And I get in easy because I
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: dress like a waiter, so they let me into just
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: about everything and I meet everybody, like I'll have some
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: real good intel for you the next time we're on
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: next week.
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: Yeah, they're not the greatest party because if you really
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: want to have fun, you don't want to be in
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: a room with Jen Saki and Rachel Maddout. I mean,
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: this is not the most.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Live that's funny. Yeah, No, I know. The worst is
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: last year when Karine John Pierre was there, the waiter
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: asked her what she was having, and she had to
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: go through a binder to come up with an answer.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: It's like, come on, man, to answer the question.
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: Hey, they keep talking about President Trump. Look at us
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: approval ratings. Look at us You know, they never mentioned
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: on any of these shows, all these same polls, Democrats
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: in Congress are at the lowest approval rating anything in
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: the world has ever been at. Isn't that amazing?
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it's funny how that works because they always say, yeah,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: these guys at But if they're at thirteen percent, the
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: headline should be Trump leads the Democrats by a lot.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: That should be the headline. It should not be look
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: at Trump's numbers. It should be wow, he's way in
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: the lead.
- 1:07:48Speaker 8: That's why I think they.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Have a better shot in the midterms than anyone's letting on.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: Yeah, now, the most interesting news is the news they
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: never report, like they think that the Southern Poverty Law
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: Center story. Oh yeah, what a stupid name, the Southern
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: Poverty Law Center. What does it even mean?
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: I know, it's crazy. So what they do is, as
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: you know, and your audience probably knows by now, they
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: are supposed to track the incidents of eight and white supremacy,
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: and then they fundraise off of that. They go, oh,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: look at all these racists. You gotta give us some
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: money so we can go get to the bottom of
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: this and alert the media and all these racists. And
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: of course they didn't have a lot to report on,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: so they started staging events, and this is the criminal indictment.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: As you know. They were hiring groups like the klu
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Klux Klan and saying, hey, how about you throw a
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: rally and then we can report on this crazy clan
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: rally and then people will give us money. And if
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: you look in twenty seventeen, the net worth or whatever
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: the money they have banked anyway went up how many
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: hundreds of a percent three hundred and twenty one or something? Crazy? Yeah,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: bananas wow, And they're making it up.
- 1:08:49Speaker 8: That's the point.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: It's it's Scooby doo. Yeah, you end of Scooby deal.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: You take the mask off the guy that is the
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Southern Poverty Law Center, you take the mask off at
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: the end of the clan rally, and it's the people
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: running the log like, wait a minute, this is crazy.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Some of you were black. What's happened here?
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: Hey, Jimmy Faylo will be on here. You got to

- 1:10:54Speaker 17: Hello, eighty six percent. Eighty six percent of Americans disapprove
- 1:11:00Speaker 17: of Congress. That is tied with November of twenty thirteen
- 1:11:04Speaker 17: for the all time high. As I said, Congress usually hated,
- 1:11:09Speaker 17: but usually not this hated. You're actually managing to tie records.
