- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Hi guys, welcome to another episode of Two Teas in
- 0:16Speaker 2: a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Very energetic today, this morning.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Very energetic, we're all pumped up.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I was last week just lethargic. all every single
- 0:31Speaker 1: day I can't and I think it's because this old
- 0:34Speaker 1: lady is a new mama and you have to get
- 0:38Speaker 1: up and even when I don't get up because we
- 0:42Speaker 1: switch off two days two days last two days were
- 0:44Speaker 1: Eddie's turn um you still like you think about it
- 0:49Speaker 1: you worry about it you listen for her all these
- 0:52Speaker 1: things and I will tell you this when it is
- 0:55Speaker 1: my turn she gets up once 4 30 in the
- 0:58Speaker 1: morning I let her out. I put her back in her,
- 1:03Speaker 1: either her playpen. If she's energetic, I'll let her play
- 1:05Speaker 1: her playpen or put her back to bed. When it's
- 1:08Speaker 1: Eddie's turn, every little whimper, he goes running to her.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Of course he does. He calls her my princess. And
- 1:17Speaker 1: I said, thank God. I go, now I know if
- 1:21Speaker 1: we had a little girl, oh my gosh, you would
- 1:24Speaker 1: be melting. Let her do whatever she He's always like, oh,
- 1:27Speaker 1: you're so pretty. Oh, it's cute. It's actually cute to see.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Yeah. It's a little baby.
- 1:34Speaker 1: So how was your weekend? You had mentioned to me
- 1:36Speaker 1: that you might spend the night. I know. I never
- 1:39Speaker 1: heard from you. I know.
- 1:41Speaker 2: I was trying to figure out where I was going
- 1:43Speaker 2: to stay with Slate. I went down and actually made
- 1:46Speaker 2: it to the horse show watching Slate. She was so good.
- 1:49Speaker 2: She was the champ.
- 1:51Speaker 1: It was nice.
- 1:52Speaker 2: It was nice to get out and have fresh air
- 1:54Speaker 2: and kind of do those things I mean I definitely
- 1:58Speaker 2: it was hard to get there it was hard to
- 2:00Speaker 2: make myself get there but then once I was there
- 2:03Speaker 2: I really appreciate it but then yesterday when I got
- 2:05Speaker 2: home I was just so.
- 2:07Speaker 1: You were there from Friday to Sunday.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I was there from I we came back Saturday night.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Oh Saturday night yeah what is Slate's future in this
- 2:17Speaker 1: I mean she's doing so well and it seems like
- 2:19Speaker 1: she's winning all the time like is there something next
- 2:23Speaker 1: level for her.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Well, her ultimate goal is that she will get a
- 2:29Speaker 2: full ride to Auburn.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Now, does this affect her schooling? Does she have to
- 2:34Speaker 1: do any kind of homeschooling?
- 2:36Speaker 2: No, the deal is as long as she has straight A's,
- 2:40Speaker 2: then she can miss school.
- 2:42Speaker 1: It's expensive sport. My neighbor had her daughter in it
- 2:44Speaker 1: for a while.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Yeah, but she's, I mean, I think that she just
- 2:49Speaker 2: loves it so much. It's, you know, given her so
- 2:51Speaker 2: much of an outlet. because of what everything's been going
- 2:55Speaker 2: on with me. Yeah.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. And so she's had to really push her
- 2:59Speaker 1: into it more than normal. Do you think?
- 3:02Speaker 2: I think she just enjoys being able to have her,
- 3:08Speaker 2: her second family, which is like the horse shows. Yeah.
- 3:13Speaker 1: And I can see that.
- 3:14Speaker 2: And she loves it and she works really hard at it.
- 3:18Speaker 2: And so it's just, you know, it's, it was pretty
- 3:21Speaker 2: awesome to see her this weekend because.
- 3:25Speaker 1: You've been going, though, recently, more than you had in
- 3:29Speaker 1: the past.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I know. I went one other time for Junior Hunter Finals,
- 3:31Speaker 2: and then I'm supposed to go for the one in Washington, D.C.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Oh, fun.
- 3:37Speaker 2: So let's hope that I can.
- 3:39Speaker 1: So when you do the one in Washington, does that
- 3:40Speaker 1: mean you have to ship the horse over there and
- 3:44Speaker 1: all that?
- 3:44Speaker 2: Yeah, the horse flies over there.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Oh, I've seen on, I think it was Netflix or
- 3:50Speaker 1: something just special about how they transport horses. It's like
- 3:53Speaker 1: a plane, but there's like hay inside of it.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Yeah, it sounds like a real shitty flight to be on, honestly.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Probably stinks like farm animals.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Well, they used to let us like fly on the
- 4:07Speaker 2: plane with the horses, but now we can't. So now,
- 4:10Speaker 2: you know.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I have a clothing tip.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Costco.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Costco.
- 4:16Speaker 1: You know, we go to Costco. Eddie always looks at
- 4:18Speaker 1: the clothes. And so I'm like, okay, I'm going to look.
- 4:22Speaker 1: They have knockoff aloe.
- 4:25Speaker 2: What?
- 4:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I bought every color. $ 19. It was a set.
- 4:29Speaker 1: You know the aloe that looks like kind of wide
- 4:31Speaker 1: corduroy kind of?
- 4:32Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 4:34Speaker 1: They have the bottoms and the tops. The tops, it's
- 4:36Speaker 1: not a hoodie like the one aloe I think has. Yeah.
- 4:39Speaker 1: But super cute. Got it beige and pink and black
- 4:43Speaker 1: and $ 19 each.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Great. That could be our new uniform.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I know. All we have to do is put two Ts. Yeah.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Sad news last night really broke my heart that Presley
- 4:59Speaker 1: Gerber had passed away at 27 years old. His new
- 5:02Speaker 1: proffered son. It's just like, oh.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Well, the part that's so heartbreaking is he was in
- 5:10Speaker 2: a treatment facility.
- 5:11Speaker 1: But there has been news that he was at a facility.
- 5:15Speaker 1: And they fear that maybe there was an overdose.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's just, I mean, it's so heartbreaking.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I watched, I don't know if I told you this,
- 5:25Speaker 1: but I watched an older movie the other day and
- 5:28Speaker 1: it had, what's Ashton Kutcher's wife name?
- 5:32Speaker 2: Mila Kunis.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Yes, she was in it. And it was like, I
- 5:35Speaker 1: think it was called Four More Days. And it was
- 5:37Speaker 1: about a mother and a daughter and the daughter had
- 5:41Speaker 1: a drug problem. Oh yeah.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I saw that recently too. Yeah.
- 5:46Speaker 1: It was so good, but it's the struggles, like the
- 5:48Speaker 1: parents go through, the kids go through and the tough
- 5:51Speaker 1: love you have to like it. I watched it and
- 5:54Speaker 1: I thought, I don't know that I could do that.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Watch her daughter sit on the front porch freezing and
- 5:59Speaker 1: just telling her to.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Leave, leave, leave. And like, she was like missing all
- 6:03Speaker 2: of her teeth. And then it just, it's heartbreaking. I
- 6:08Speaker 2: think that I can't, even imagine what they must be
- 6:12Speaker 2: going through right now.
- 6:13Speaker 1: No. And the daughter is on top of the world.
- 6:17Speaker 1: She's got a new movie coming out. She's a model.
- 6:21Speaker 1: And I read something where she said she always had
- 6:24Speaker 1: to be the good kid because she felt like her
- 6:26Speaker 1: parents had so much pressure with her brother.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:31Speaker 1: That's a lot for a kid.
- 6:32Speaker 2: That's a lot. It's a lot of pressure. And it
- 6:34Speaker 2: also is like, I don't know. It's just so heartbreaking.
- 6:39Speaker 2: He's so young.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I know. I know.
- 6:42Speaker 2: So young, so talented. Yeah.
- 6:45Speaker 1: And he was doing, I looked at his Instagram, he
- 6:47Speaker 1: was doing like Mental Health Mondays and talking about his
- 6:51Speaker 1: struggles and trying to help other people. It's just, it's
- 6:54Speaker 1: just so sad. So sad.
- 6:56Speaker 2: It's really sad.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Oh, but, you know what was sad also? This episode
- 7:03Speaker 1: was a little sad of Ultimate Girls Trip. It was
- 7:05Speaker 1: a little sad.
- 7:06Speaker 2: It was a little sad. It was, oof.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I was like, okay.
- 7:13Speaker 1: A little sad and a little annoying.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Yeah, a little sad, a little annoying. Well, it starts
- 7:30Speaker 2: out where the ladies get ready for the lingerie party
- 7:33Speaker 2: in Miami.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Now, this lingerie party didn't last long. Did you notice
- 7:38Speaker 1: they did three kind of parties together? In one episode.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Yeah. Three parties in one episode. Portia and Giselle are
- 7:48Speaker 2: ecstatic that they finally made headway with Whoop It Up Vicky.
- 7:51Speaker 1: I love seeing Vicky like this. I have been talking
- 7:55Speaker 1: to her almost daily because she had her surgery and
- 7:59Speaker 1: it's been a lot for her and she's been in
- 8:01Speaker 1: pain and all that stuff. And it was like, she
- 8:05Speaker 1: should have done it 10 months ago, but now she
- 8:07Speaker 1: finally did it right before the reunion.
- 8:09Speaker 2: So.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Yeah, so she'll be feeling better.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Yeah, so she's going through it right now. But everybody
- 8:16Speaker 1: from the cast of Miami, except Julia, Gertie, and Stephanie,
- 8:22Speaker 1: are in attendance. Now, I do know that Stephanie was invited. Yeah.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I don't know if she was out of town or something,
- 8:30Speaker 1: but she didn't go. So I'm wondering why the other
- 8:32Speaker 1: girls were not invited. Did this make you miss Miami? Yeah.
- 8:37Speaker 2: It made me miss Miami, but it also, I just
- 8:40Speaker 2: felt like this was such a nothing burger.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Well, the only thing that we really got out of this, um,
- 8:46Speaker 1: Miami was a little bickering with the girls to make
- 8:49Speaker 1: us like, want them to be back.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:52Speaker 1: And Lisa doing the speech from hell.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. Where she's just talking about herself the
- 9:00Speaker 2: entire time. Um, but also I love when Vicky is like, um,
- 9:08Speaker 2: I can't with Luann. Like, I need her to stop talking.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Well, we saw the previews for next week. I think
- 9:13Speaker 1: Luann's going to get it. I remember when they were
- 9:15Speaker 1: filming and I was talking to Vicky and she's like,
- 9:18Speaker 1: we can't tolerate Luann. We cannot. And it's nice to
- 9:21Speaker 1: see that, like, move on from Vicky now. And she
- 9:24Speaker 1: had a little, some of her moments in here, like,
- 9:26Speaker 1: I don't know anybody, but she, like, put that smile
- 9:28Speaker 1: and she smoked that cigar and she, you know, she
- 9:31Speaker 1: tried to pick herself up.
- 9:34Speaker 2: She definitely did. Mm-hmm. But something that made me laugh
- 9:39Speaker 2: was when they were like, oh, I forget what they
- 9:43Speaker 2: were talking about. But then she's like, now write a
- 9:46Speaker 2: song about that, Luann.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Well, at one point, didn't somebody go, she doesn't have
- 9:52Speaker 1: any more songs to sing. And Portia's like, oh, yes,
- 9:54Speaker 1: she does.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Oh, yes, she does. For sure, she does.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 10:01Speaker 2: And then we see Melissa and Teresa reunite. Teresa says
- 10:05Speaker 2: they are finally in a good place. And season 15
- 10:09Speaker 2: will be amazing.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Do you think somebody told Teresa to just kind of
- 10:15Speaker 1: calm down? Because I. I feel like she's being very relatable.
- 10:19Speaker 1: She's being funny. She's being vulnerable. Like, I feel like
- 10:23Speaker 1: it's a different Teresa we're seeing. Is it just maybe
- 10:26Speaker 1: the not being on TV for a couple of years
- 10:28Speaker 1: or what? But I definitely like this Teresa, even though
- 10:32Speaker 1: she called me annoying on Watch What Happens Live. By
- 10:36Speaker 1: the way, I am pretty annoying sometimes. So I'll take that.
- 10:40Speaker 1: I'll take that. But we see Teresa and her finally together.
- 10:44Speaker 1: But it didn't have that much of an impact because
- 10:45Speaker 1: we've seen them on social media. Yeah. Do you think
- 10:48Speaker 1: it was weird? You don't think it was weird seeing
- 10:50Speaker 1: them together?
- 10:50Speaker 2: I didn't think it was weird seeing them together. I
- 10:53Speaker 2: thought they would always come back together.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Melissa was hot.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Yeah, she was.
- 10:58Speaker 1: She was quite the body. Then we had Peggy Tanos
- 11:00Speaker 1: represent Orange County in Miami, which was a total confusing
- 11:03Speaker 1: to me. I had no idea who that person was.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Did she live out there?
- 11:06Speaker 2: I did not know who that person was.
- 11:10Speaker 1: She was on... in the early days. I think she
- 11:13Speaker 1: was only on for a couple of seasons, but she's,
- 11:16Speaker 1: she was at our season finale. And I say that
- 11:20Speaker 1: because I show it in previews. I know that she's
- 11:22Speaker 1: friends with Jacqueline. I wonder if Jacqueline invited her or
- 11:26Speaker 1: how that happened. Yeah.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Well, Jacqueline and Melissa also have a friendly exchange, despite
- 11:34Speaker 2: their past beef.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, it's, Jacqueline lives around the corner for me. Yeah. Yeah.
- 11:44Speaker 2: But I think it's just kind of like, all right,
- 11:48Speaker 2: here we go.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 11:49Speaker 2: I just I really wanted to. I feel like it's
- 11:54Speaker 2: very hard to even discuss this episode. Why? What do
- 11:58Speaker 2: you mean? Because I think it was so just it
- 12:02Speaker 2: wasn't cohesive because they jumped around.
- 12:05Speaker 1: They had three different events in one episode. Now we
- 12:08Speaker 1: get to Lisa. Huckstein says that the Miami group hasn't
- 12:12Speaker 1: invited her anywhere, which causes her and Larsa to get
- 12:15Speaker 1: into it. Lisa Barlow reveals in her confessional, she met
- 12:19Speaker 1: Marcus on a yacht and follows him and is like,
- 12:22Speaker 1: you know what? I'm still going to follow him. I
- 12:24Speaker 1: don't care. Yeah. I met him, but you're not going
- 12:27Speaker 1: to tell me to unfollow him. Larsa says to Lisa...
- 12:34Speaker 1: We're naked for you. And Lisa's like, you're always naked.
- 12:37Speaker 1: What do you mean for me? You're always naked.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Well, Melissa says she's watching Real Hot Sides of Miami
- 12:49Speaker 2: live right now.
- 12:50Speaker 1: They seem to like you could tell that they've been
- 12:53Speaker 1: off camera for a while and they're like, OK, let's
- 12:57Speaker 1: let's try to do something. Because did they know they
- 13:00Speaker 1: knew at this time that their show had been put
- 13:02Speaker 1: on pause? Yeah, I believe.
- 13:05Speaker 2: And also, no, they didn't.
- 13:06Speaker 1: They didn't. And then also there was no Miami girl
- 13:12Speaker 1: in the cast, which is was odd to me.
- 13:15Speaker 2: I found it weird as well. It was weird.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Larsa asked Lisa if she's mad because she was right
- 13:22Speaker 1: about Jodi. And then didn't it kind of sound like
- 13:26Speaker 1: Lisa was still kind of hanging out with Jodi?
- 13:30Speaker 2: They still live together.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Wait, they do?
- 13:34Speaker 2: Yes. They still live together. Huh. And then essentially, I mean,
- 13:40Speaker 2: I read something about how they're still hooking up.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Well, they're living together, probably.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Lisa gives her speech about herself. I'm like, what do you,
- 13:56Speaker 1: I mean, do you expect anything different? It'd be like
- 13:58Speaker 1: Lisa Barlow getting up there and doing a speech about,
- 14:00Speaker 1: you know, her town. It would be all about herself.
- 14:04Speaker 1: And then you have Luann singing drunkenly happy birthday to
- 14:08Speaker 1: the producer Dion. And he's just looking like, what are
- 14:10Speaker 1: we doing here? And why is there a camera on me? Yeah.
- 14:13Speaker 2: He's like, uh, what's up?
- 14:15Speaker 1: Who do you think loves himself more Luann or Lisa?
- 14:23Speaker 2: I think Luann.
- 14:25Speaker 1: You think so?
- 14:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:26Speaker 1: In a totally different, more obnoxious way.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Well, I think, like, at least Luann is, like, funny.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I think Lisa's just unaware.
- 14:36Speaker 2: She's just unaware, and she's just... She's going through the motions.
- 14:43Speaker 2: But I.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I think, you know, it's like when she left everybody
- 14:48Speaker 2: for hours sitting in the... the sprinter and she's like
- 14:52Speaker 2: hours late like I think she just is in her
- 14:56Speaker 2: own her own thing know what else I liked about
- 14:59Speaker 2: this episode how everybody's in their like um sexy lingerie
- 15:06Speaker 2: outfits and then Lisa Barlow's in like.
- 15:09Speaker 1: A black wasn't she like in a black silk like.
- 15:13Speaker 2: She was like in a green like something like that
- 15:16Speaker 2: yeah it's like something I would wear to bed just
- 15:19Speaker 2: like a night shirt Yeah.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Well, uh, not everybody was showing their goods. Um, Kyle's
- 15:25Speaker 1: got a rock and body. She had on, I think
- 15:28Speaker 1: it was a retrofit dress, the leopard one. You'll see
- 15:32Speaker 1: that upcoming on orange County as well.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Not by me.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Um, cute dress for sure.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Um, now this kind of cracked me up when Larsa
- 15:41Speaker 1: asked Lisa, if she was out the accountant to premiere
- 15:43Speaker 1: with Ben Affleck, And Lisa takes this opportunity to show
- 15:47Speaker 1: Larsa pictures. And she's like, yeah, how did I not
- 15:50Speaker 1: see you? Well, because you weren't there, Lisa. I don't
- 15:53Speaker 1: think you were there.
- 15:53Speaker 2: And then she switched it to another.
- 15:57Speaker 1: She has no pictures, but she's like, yeah, but I
- 16:00Speaker 1: have pictures from this event. And she's like, stop name dropping.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Just stop name dropping.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Yeah, just stop. Stop the name dropping.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Okay. Then we have Adriana who comes out singing. Um,
- 16:29Speaker 1: Vicki is the last one to be impressed and she's,
- 16:31Speaker 1: and I'm with Vicki on this one. Why do all
- 16:34Speaker 1: these housewives think they can sing and dance?
- 16:38Speaker 2: I don't know, but also the fact that she does
- 16:40Speaker 2: the same song every single time.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Miami's hot, hot, hot. Miami's hot, hot, hot.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I kind of, I mean, I don't hate the song, though.
- 16:54Speaker 1: What is the song? F-Y-A-H? What does that mean?
- 16:59Speaker 2: Faya.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Oh, so the song is called Faya. F-Y-A-H.
- 17:06Speaker 2: That's just how she says fire.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Oh, it is spelled that way? Yeah, that's how it's spelled.
- 17:12Speaker 1: And so it's Miami's hot on fire. I mean, Vicky
- 17:18Speaker 1: is so not impressed. And I'm sorry. I'm with you
- 17:21Speaker 1: on this one, Vicky. If anybody else is offended, I
- 17:23Speaker 1: am with you on this one, Vicky.
- 17:27Speaker 2: But I'm like, this is probably the seventh time we've
- 17:30Speaker 2: seen her sing this song.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I know. Well, I mean, we're doing iconic shit on
- 17:35Speaker 1: this show, right? Uh, Vicki and Luann bond over sharing
- 17:39Speaker 1: a cigarette. And Vicki says, I do this in Mexico. I,
- 17:43Speaker 1: you couldn't pay me to smoke a cigar. I just gross.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Well, I also don't, I mean, I don't really understand.
- 17:53Speaker 2: You don't inhale, right? You just like puff on it.
- 17:57Speaker 1: And I, it's just, and it smells and I've, I've,
- 18:00Speaker 1: puffed on one before. It tastes gross. I don't know.
- 18:02Speaker 1: I don't get it.
- 18:03Speaker 2: And then I feel like it's always wet at the end. Ew.
- 18:06Speaker 2: It is because everyone's like putting their like....
- 18:11Speaker 1: No. No, thank you. Well, that was it for this party.
- 18:14Speaker 1: There really not much went down.
- 18:17Speaker 2: No. Not much went down.
- 18:20Speaker 1: It was a quick 8-10 minute party and then we
- 18:23Speaker 1: get the girls going through the airport, which is really
- 18:26Speaker 1: cool to see them going through the airport and on
- 18:29Speaker 1: the plane and all those things. singing through the airport,
- 18:33Speaker 1: which annoyed Vicky as well and was like in her seat,
- 18:36Speaker 1: we don't sing in the airport.
- 18:39Speaker 2: I mean, I did agree with her there.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Yeah. So ladies are headed to New York and we
- 18:43Speaker 1: see a montage of iconic Roni moments, a favorite being
- 18:47Speaker 1: Luann's voice text. Who was it to?
- 18:50Speaker 2: What's his name?
- 18:51Speaker 1: Harry or Jack or whatever his name is.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Tom. Tom.
- 18:54Speaker 1: How could you do this to me? Question mark. Now,
- 19:02Speaker 1: we know that Bethany would have never appeared on the show.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Were you surprised that they did flashbacks of her or
- 19:08Speaker 1: she just part of the.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I was actually surprised they gave us Bethany flashbacks.
- 19:13Speaker 1: And then, you know what I was surprised too? That Sonia,
- 19:16Speaker 1: like nobody's talking to Sonia.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Well, they're saying that she won't do anything unless she's
- 19:21Speaker 2: getting big money for it.
- 19:23Speaker 1: She said, okay, unless it's $ 5, 000. Well, let me just
- 19:27Speaker 1: tell you, they would pay you $ 5, 000. That could have
- 19:30Speaker 1: been the going rate, just saying, for anybody not on
- 19:34Speaker 1: the cast to show up. She would have gotten paid.
- 19:37Speaker 1: So I don't know. That's weird.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Whatever. I know. I think she also, I don't know,
- 19:46Speaker 2: maybe because she's going to be on Golden.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Maybe she's. just like, yeah, this ship was sailed. But
- 19:52Speaker 1: you remember, what was that show that Sonya and Luann did?
- 19:56Speaker 1: The Crappy Lake.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Crappy Lake.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I thought they were super close.
- 20:01Speaker 2: So did I. But I think by the end of that,
- 20:03Speaker 2: they probably were not super close.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Well, probably not. Yeah. Yeah. And then, of course, Ramona's
- 20:11Speaker 1: not there.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Ramona's not there. Yeah, in New York.
- 20:16Speaker 1: We got Portia, Giselle, and Vicky talk about how annoying
- 20:20Speaker 1: Luann is. Luann is getting on everybody's nerves.
- 20:23Speaker 2: The fact that they don't even want to ride in
- 20:25Speaker 2: the same car as Luann.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Vicky's like, nope, I'm not going with Luann.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:32Speaker 1: And that's when Giselle says, I heard all the songs
- 20:34Speaker 1: and Portia's like, nope, nope, you haven't. She has a
- 20:38Speaker 1: song about hearing them all. I love it. You know what?
- 20:42Speaker 2: She kills me. She is so funny.
- 20:44Speaker 1: I mean, is there anyone better than Portia and Giselle, honestly?
- 20:48Speaker 2: No.
- 20:49Speaker 1: They really get things moving.
- 20:52Speaker 2: They're so good.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I mean, they.
- 20:56Speaker 2: And they kind of feed off of each other.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Yes. And then Vicky's like, well, it's about time. I've
- 21:01Speaker 1: been telling you guys she's annoying this entire time. Took
- 21:03Speaker 1: you guys a little while.
- 21:04Speaker 2: She's like, way to join the club.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Vindicated. Vindicated.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Then the ladies head to the Bronx for a gangster
- 21:16Speaker 2: lunch with Dorinda where the infamous clip, clip, clip meal happened.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Carol joins and reads a heartwarming speech. about what it
- 21:26Speaker 2: means to be in the Housewives universe.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Did she also say it was on her Substack? Substack,
- 21:33Speaker 1: is that what it's called? So Substack, I don't really
- 21:35Speaker 1: know what it is. I know when we had Carol
- 21:37Speaker 1: on the podcast, she talked about it. I know Heather
- 21:39Speaker 1: Dubrow does one. Is it just like a journaling? Like
- 21:42Speaker 1: you just journal and people read, like you're writing short stories?
- 21:46Speaker 2: Yeah, you just, you read your, essentially, yeah. I mean,
- 21:53Speaker 2: it's like you're keeping a diary.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Oh, see, I hate writing, so it would not be
- 21:57Speaker 1: fun for me.
- 21:58Speaker 2: I mean, we've been asked to do it.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Yeah. No, can't do it. And then you, like, charge, like,
- 22:03Speaker 1: $ 5. 99 a month or something. I don't even know what
- 22:05Speaker 1: it is.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, you charge for the subscriptions. I don't know.
- 22:12Speaker 2: But her speech, all I was thinking was, did she
- 22:17Speaker 2: have a ghostwriter for this speech, or did she do
- 22:19Speaker 2: it herself?
- 22:20Speaker 1: No, she's good at that stuff.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I know.
- 22:22Speaker 1: She's really, really good.
- 22:24Speaker 2: No, I'm just kidding.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Then Carol's speech brings Teresa to tears as she reflects
- 22:31Speaker 2: on her past 20 years in the franchise. Giselle commends
- 22:36Speaker 2: Teresa for being an incredible mother. She is and hung.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Yeah. I think this was like a really good scene
- 22:44Speaker 1: because I don't think people really do realize what us
- 22:47Speaker 1: housewives deal with on a daily. This coming up episode
- 22:53Speaker 1: this week, I talk about a situation with me and
- 22:56Speaker 1: my son. And some of it was the conversation we
- 23:00Speaker 1: had about the show and how much time it takes.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:04Speaker 1: From the family and from, you know, from me and
- 23:06Speaker 1: all that stuff. So it, you know, Kyle talks about
- 23:11Speaker 1: how her daughter has only known her as a housewife.
- 23:15Speaker 1: And that's the same with Sophia. And I remember when
- 23:17Speaker 1: I got fired, Sophia said to me, oh my gosh, mom,
- 23:20Speaker 1: I only know you as a housewife.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:22Speaker 1: She was, two or more than a half when I started.
- 23:26Speaker 1: But she's going to be 21 years old this week.
- 23:29Speaker 2: That is insane.
- 23:30Speaker 1: I know. I know.
- 23:31Speaker 2: That is truly insane.
- 23:33Speaker 1: So it's nice. Pink Pop Box actually wrote a really
- 23:36Speaker 1: nice heartfelt post about this scene. And like, you know what?
- 23:41Speaker 1: Love them or hate them. We do take a lot
- 23:43Speaker 1: of shit for putting our lives out there.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Yeah. Kyle gets emotional about Portia and not knowing a
- 23:51Speaker 2: life before the cameras. I mean, that's What you're just saying,
- 23:54Speaker 2: but I mean, when she's saying that it's making her emotional.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Yeah. They all kind of got emotional and they were
- 24:03Speaker 1: all kind of hugging. And Vicky talked about how she
- 24:06Speaker 1: lost her mom. I was there that day when she
- 24:08Speaker 1: got the call. I was with her. It was horrible.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Teresa lost both her parents, right? On camera.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:15Speaker 1: I mean, so many people have gone. You've been on
- 24:16Speaker 1: the show long enough. You've gone through a lot. A lot. Yeah.
- 24:20Speaker 1: I mean, I.
- 24:21Speaker 2: I feel like it was kind of, during these episodes,
- 24:25Speaker 2: I thought it was kind of rushed.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Well, I think they rushed everything from Miami to New York.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Because they probably could have extended another episode.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Yeah, they should have extended another episode. We should have
- 24:41Speaker 2: gotten a little bit more. Where do they.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Go next, do you know? So they are leaving New York,
- 24:46Speaker 1: I think, after this. I think the... Oh, okay. So
- 24:51Speaker 1: they only have one or two more episodes left.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, this was probably my least favorite episode. Yeah.
- 25:03Speaker 1: It kind of seemed like a little bit of a filler.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it seemed like a little bit of a filler.
- 25:08Speaker 1: So the girls get ready for the Halloween party. Teresa
- 25:10Speaker 1: is Cher. Vicky is Taylor Swift. Luann is a sexy pirate.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Kyle is a cat. Giselle is a fortune teller. Dorinda
- 25:17Speaker 1: is her Lady Gaga bubble costume. And Chanel Ayan is
- 25:21Speaker 1: a prostitute from her village. And Dolores comes as a
- 25:26Speaker 1: plastic surgery that's all botched up.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:29Speaker 1: We didn't get to see much of Dolores this episode.
- 25:31Speaker 1: I know.
- 25:31Speaker 2: I was bummed.
- 25:33Speaker 1: And then plus we get Alex McCourt. I know.
- 25:35Speaker 2: And Caliban Simone, who Chanel calls the jelly bean girl,
- 25:41Speaker 2: which is a callback to Scary Island.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Yeah. But then she also calls Dorinda Ramona at one point. Twice.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Well, I mean, they're just all morphing together.
- 26:06Speaker 1: What did you think about Carol really leaning into the
- 26:08Speaker 1: Steven Tyler? I think it was kind of iconic. I
- 26:11Speaker 1: thought it was hilarious. I did too.
- 26:14Speaker 2: I like somebody that can take a joke. Yeah.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:17Speaker 2: I like someone that can take a joke. And then
- 26:21Speaker 2: Jessel gives Dorinda shit for repeating her outfit. And Dorinda replies,
- 26:24Speaker 2: it was iconic. but she's pissed.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Well, Jessel, this is about celebrating 20 years of housewives,
- 26:30Speaker 1: iconic moments, nostalgia. It's not a fashion show. It's about
- 26:35Speaker 1: bringing back those old moments from years ago. And I
- 26:39Speaker 1: think that like, just like, um, who was it? Somebody
- 26:42Speaker 1: in Miami, um, Adriana wore the same outfit she wore
- 26:46Speaker 1: at one of the lingerie parties. I thought that was cool.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Yeah. It's like, fine, bring it back. Yeah. Um, But
- 26:52Speaker 2: at this point, I feel like Jessel's just trying to
- 26:54Speaker 2: start shit, and she's not great at it with this
- 26:57Speaker 2: group of people.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Well, she's kind of annoying me on Roni, and she's
- 27:00Speaker 1: definitely bugging me.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Yeah. So it's like, meh. But then Chanel tells Jessel
- 27:07Speaker 2: that she was being a bitch, and that's why Ramona
- 27:09Speaker 2: isn't happy with her. I'm like, it's Dorinda Chanel.
- 27:14Speaker 1: It's Dorinda. Now, we're going to have Erin from New
- 27:18Speaker 1: York on the pod soon. Yeah. I'm excited about that.
- 27:22Speaker 2: And I know that her.
- 27:23Speaker 1: And Jessel are not hitting it off.
- 27:27Speaker 2: No, it's not going well.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Yeah. I had a little chat with her about it.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Oh, you did? Of course you did. Well, then Hank,
- 27:36Speaker 2: the emcee, gets up and asks all the Ultimate Girls
- 27:39Speaker 2: Trip wives to come to the stage. But Portia still
- 27:42Speaker 2: isn't there. She's 30 minutes late.
- 27:44Speaker 1: She's not only 30 minutes late. I mean, this is
- 27:47Speaker 1: like the end of the party, it pretty much looks like.
- 27:50Speaker 1: I might be wrong because it's kind of like a
- 27:52Speaker 1: to be continued, I think. And she's not out there. Now,
- 27:55Speaker 1: she had a lot to say when Lisa Barlow was
- 27:58Speaker 1: 30 minutes late.
- 28:00Speaker 2: But the difference is she's not having other people wait
- 28:02Speaker 2: for her.
- 28:04Speaker 1: They're on stage waiting for her. I know that they
- 28:06Speaker 1: weren't waiting for a flight or anything, but when you're
- 28:09Speaker 1: on an ensemble cast and you're 30 minutes late and
- 28:11Speaker 1: they're holding it up, that ain't a good look.
- 28:13Speaker 2: That's true. It's true. But what was your like favorite
- 28:17Speaker 2: part about this episode? Like who did you like seeing
- 28:19Speaker 2: the most? Who did you?
- 28:25Speaker 1: That's a tough one. I like seeing the Miami girls
- 28:29Speaker 1: cause we haven't seen them in a while. Um, I
- 28:32Speaker 1: liked the, the conversation they had at the table that
- 28:34Speaker 1: was kind of emotional and it gives, you know, people
- 28:37Speaker 1: an insight of, it's not easy putting your life out there.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Yeah. So, um, I know, I mean, I think it,
- 28:45Speaker 2: it's hard when they cram so much stuff into one
- 28:47Speaker 2: episode because it's like, you're just recapping clippets, like little
- 28:52Speaker 2: snippets of things that happened because nothing really went to
- 28:56Speaker 2: like fruition in the entire thing. Right.
- 29:00Speaker 1: No, I agree. I agree. I think they're coming to
- 29:02Speaker 1: the end. They have two episodes left and they're just
- 29:05Speaker 1: trying to get everything in. Yeah. So Bluestone Manor is
- 29:09Speaker 1: their landing place. So next week's episode, I'm curious, like,
- 29:14Speaker 1: is it just the continuation of the party and then
- 29:18Speaker 1: they travel on to Dorinda's house?
- 29:23Speaker 2: I have a question. Why do they always end up
- 29:25Speaker 2: at Dorinda's house?
- 29:27Speaker 1: Well, it's close. It's a drive from New York.
- 29:31Speaker 2: It's iconic.
- 29:34Speaker 1: So, yeah, they're going to end it just with a
- 29:36Speaker 1: New York. But everybody except for me goes. I'm not bitter.
- 29:42Speaker 1: I go to Watch What Happens Live in a while.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Well, next month.
- 29:46Speaker 1: And I'm like, should I wear my ball gown that
- 29:48Speaker 1: I was supposed to wear to Bluestone Manor? Should I
- 29:54Speaker 1: get all dressed up with the gloves? I think you should. Oh,
- 29:58Speaker 1: have you watched Traitors yet? Um, no. The two episodes
- 30:02Speaker 1: of Traitors are out. I just recapped it with Wells
- 30:05Speaker 1: this morning. And I will tell you, even though it's
- 30:08Speaker 1: like a civilian one, not a celebrity, I love it.
- 30:12Speaker 1: You can't even tell. They have some star power within
- 30:15Speaker 1: this cast that's crazy.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Oh, I'm excited. I've got to wait for my kids
- 30:21Speaker 2: because they will want to watch it too. Oh, it's good.
- 30:22Speaker 1: And you know what the good thing is too? It's
- 30:25Speaker 1: 42 minutes long with commercials.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Oh.
- 30:28Speaker 1: It's not even an hour long. It's 42. And I'm like,
- 30:30Speaker 1: you know what? With my A8, what did Teresa say?
- 30:35Speaker 1: HDHD that I have. And when I say HD, I
- 30:41Speaker 1: always think not high definition. I always think Heather Dubrow.
- 30:46Speaker 1: I like the 42 minutes.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I really do.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Well, I'm excited to watch it. I know the kids
- 30:52Speaker 2: are going to be really pumped. I didn't even realize
- 30:55Speaker 2: it was out yet. So that's exciting.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Yeah, first two episodes are already out.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Even Dove likes watching it.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Yeah, it's good. It's good. I watch it. I'm like, God,
- 31:04Speaker 1: this is genius. And they mix things up and they
- 31:07Speaker 1: change things around and they just keep you on the toes. It's,
- 31:12Speaker 1: you know, two of the, well, the traders, they pick
- 31:15Speaker 1: another one. And the way that they do that, like
- 31:17Speaker 1: the two traders have to pick another trader to join them.
- 31:21Speaker 1: And the way they go about it is crazy.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Oh, so right from the beginning.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Right from the beginning. So I don't want to give
- 31:26Speaker 1: too much away, but. Make sure you tune into Order
- 31:30Speaker 1: of the Faithfuls as well, says it. Order of the Faithfuls.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Order of the Faithfuls.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, I mean, I think all in all, I.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Appreciate seeing everybody. I'm curious, what kind of sexy outfit
- 31:47Speaker 2: would you wear?
- 31:48Speaker 1: I thought about it. I thought about it.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 31:52Speaker 1: You know, the slut in me always wants to go
- 31:54Speaker 1: to like kind of what I wore for, you know,
- 31:57Speaker 1: dog barking night. Yeah, dog barking night. But then I'm like,
- 32:04Speaker 1: I mean, it's different to like really be there for
- 32:07Speaker 1: hours and film and something like that. I don't know.
- 32:09Speaker 1: I really don't know. It depends on how bloated I
- 32:14Speaker 1: felt that day.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I just wonder how... As I was
- 32:21Speaker 2: watching each of them come in and everybody showing their
- 32:24Speaker 2: different type of like style about it.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:27Speaker 2: I was like, huh. I wonder what I would do. Like,
- 32:34Speaker 2: I've never had a reason to do that.
- 32:38Speaker 1: It's all about how good you feel at that moment.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Like we all like, you know, you know. What about
- 32:44Speaker 1: how ripped Portia is? I know.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Like her stomach.
- 32:49Speaker 1: They keep showing that clip over and over and over again.
- 32:53Speaker 1: And that outfit. She looks incredible.
- 32:57Speaker 2: She looks incredible. What was Vicky wearing?
- 32:59Speaker 1: I can't remember what Vicky was wearing.
- 33:01Speaker 2: She had on like a fur coat.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Was that to the lingerie party or was that to
- 33:08Speaker 1: the mobs?
- 33:09Speaker 2: No, I think that was to the lingerie party. She
- 33:12Speaker 2: had on like a fur coat and then like maybe
- 33:15Speaker 2: some kind of lingerie type thing underneath, but it was
- 33:17Speaker 2: a big fur coat.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Well, it looked cold there. You see the snow outside?
- 33:23Speaker 1: It was like three feet of snow.
- 33:25Speaker 2: And her hair was up too.
- 33:29Speaker 1: No, don't remember any of that.
- 33:31Speaker 2: No, it's come and gone.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Come and gone.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Come and gone. But I mean, when I was watching this,
- 33:37Speaker 2: I was wondering... When are they going to bring Miami back?
- 33:43Speaker 2: I think if we have some of these other shows,
- 33:45Speaker 2: we should have Miami.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Well, they're definitely going to bring Miami back. I don't
- 33:49Speaker 1: think there's any doubt they're going to do it. I
- 33:51Speaker 1: think that I think it was the Todd thing that
- 33:54Speaker 1: stopped things. I really do. The lawsuits and all that.
- 34:00Speaker 2: But how about when she said he never actually left?
- 34:03Speaker 2: He was never actually gone.
- 34:06Speaker 1: I don't believe that. We interviewed her right after she
- 34:09Speaker 1: went to San Francisco with us. Remember? Yeah. And she
- 34:12Speaker 1: she told us what happened.
- 34:14Speaker 2: I know. But now she's saying he was never gone.
- 34:17Speaker 2: And the other part I don't understand, which maybe we've
- 34:20Speaker 2: talked about this before, but I still don't understand it.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Why it says he bought her a house. Why it's
- 34:27Speaker 2: not their house.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Maybe, I don't know. I don't want to suspect because
- 34:33Speaker 1: look what happened to me when people were questioning me
- 34:35Speaker 1: about the ring for Vicky. I'm like, my natural instinct
- 34:40Speaker 1: would be to say maybe they're not together. Maybe he's
- 34:46Speaker 1: just taking care of her.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Yeah, but she seemed.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Put articles out there. Yeah, it's like crazy. People just
- 34:55Speaker 1: hold on to the stupidest stuff.
- 34:57Speaker 2: I don't know. Yeah, I don't know either. But I mean,
- 35:01Speaker 2: I do love to see everybody together. You can tell
- 35:06Speaker 2: the girls are getting tired. Yeah.
- 35:09Speaker 1: They only have, what, one more day to go? Yeah.
- 35:12Speaker 2: I think it's so nonstop. They're getting tired. They're doing
- 35:17Speaker 2: the best that they can. But it's also like, oh, hell.
- 35:21Speaker 2: But I think last week was so good. Mm-hmm.
- 35:25Speaker 1: It's going to be interesting to see the season finale
- 35:27Speaker 1: and how that goes because I've heard from my own cast, well,
- 35:34Speaker 1: the only one person that was there, Heather, that they
- 35:38Speaker 1: talk about what happens with me and Shannon not being
- 35:43Speaker 1: there and all that stuff. With all the other fights
- 35:47Speaker 1: that went on, I mean, with Salt Lake City and
- 35:51Speaker 1: everybody else and Miami, like, really? Mine and Shannon's was
- 35:55Speaker 1: that bad. It makes me laugh. Well, I also have
- 36:00Speaker 1: another question.
- 36:01Speaker 2: When we're watching this, does it make you miss certain
- 36:07Speaker 2: people more than others? Like, are you like, wow, I
- 36:12Speaker 2: really wish we had so-and-so back on our screens?
- 36:15Speaker 1: I mean, NeNe, I think that would be a good...
- 36:17Speaker 1: But she's been out there doing interviews and she obviously
- 36:20Speaker 1: heard what Andy had said. And she said, well, Andy
- 36:22Speaker 1: pretty much said, like, the cast is fine the way
- 36:24Speaker 1: it is.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:26Speaker 1: And I don't think she really cares to come back.
- 36:29Speaker 1: She's acting like she doesn't care. She's acting like she
- 36:31Speaker 1: doesn't care. But, I mean, I don't know.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Would you rather go to a gangster brunch or a
- 36:39Speaker 2: lingerie party? All right. Well... Yeah. I mean, sorry it
- 36:44Speaker 2: was all over the place, guys, but that's kind of
- 36:46Speaker 2: what the episode was. Yeah, it was everywhere.
- 36:48Speaker 1: They're in three different spots.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Three different spots.
- 36:51Speaker 1: And an airport.
- 36:55Speaker 2: All right. Well, I love you, Tam.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Love you, too. Talk to you soon.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Bye.
