- 0:01SPEAKER_00: We're going to do a study on the goodness and the love of God and whatever I say about God.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: I promise you that he's even better than what I say.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Sometimes people think that I make God out to be better than how he really is.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: That's impossible to do.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: I don't know how to do that.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: I can talk about what I know.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: I've seen some goodness of God.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: I'm learning more and more of it.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: I'm enjoying more and more of it all the time.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: But I don't know how to speak bigger than God really is.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: And I want to look at some hard verses.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: We did that last week, and I want to look at some more this week and really talk about the goodness of God.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: And we can, you know, we we understand that God loves us.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: We understand that God has forgiven us all through the through the sacrifice that he made.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: But you know, last night we were in a meeting, and uh there was a man on the front row there, and he had had a walker, and and I was simply talking about the love of God like I do.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: And uh he requested prayer.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: He said, I know God loves me.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: See, here's what they say.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: I know God loves me, but I just don't feel I deserve it.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: And he had so many issues, he'd been through so many physical things and was dealing with so many physical issues and problems, and he said, So much has come on me, and he says, and I couldn't help but feel that I I deserved it.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: And uh after hearing that word and speaking it, praying for him, the man stood up straight and tall.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: It was very it turned out he was a very tall man.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: His face was like an angel.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: He said, I haven't been able to sleep at night.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: But he knew that tonight he would.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: He said, I've never felt like this in all my life.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: He felt loved and completely forgiven.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: We went to that place a month before for the first time, and uh there was a lady there that had a very hard life.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: We found this out later as she talked to us, abused in every way you could imagine growing up, physically, mentally, spiritually, and everything else.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Never felt she was good enough.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: She heard one message about the love of God, the how how big that love of God was, and it was big enough to love even someone like her.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: And one time here, now listen to this, one time.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: Some people I preached to a thousand times and they're still trying to get it.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: One time she says, I heard what you said.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: She stood up last night, she said, I gotta say this.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: You said what you said when I heard you, said, I had never heard that, had never felt that before.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: Said, I opened up my heart and said, God loved me that night.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: And she talked about all these physical things that that she had wrong.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: She said, I lived with pain for how many years was it, like 30 years or something like that?
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: And she says, It's gone.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: It went away that night.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: Said every, said something else, something with her jaw.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: Anyway, had all these physical, said it went away just because I knew that God loved me.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: I knew that God loved me that much.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: And the woman who was turned on, I mean, she looked completely different, and she was just like, she, and she she turned us on to this song about real love, and just like, man, that's all I've been singing ever since then.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: Said, I'll play it in my car.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: I found real love finally for the first time in my life, and she's 60-something years old.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: She just heard one time how good God was.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: Let's look at this this morning.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: I want to um I want to deal with three things here this morning.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: Three hard verses, hard thoughts, things that people wrestle with, and things that people, questions that people bring to Judy and I in our encounters with people.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: Um I guess we can start in Matthew chapter 6.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: And uh we want to deal with this thing biblically.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: Most of the time I like to preach inspirationally about the personal juicy, juiciness, and the goodness of just knowing the person of God.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: And we've but that's what it's really all about.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: But people struggle with some of the scriptures because sometimes it looks like there's contradictions or or you know, and they don't know what to do with it.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: Um, I haven't found that there's any contradictions in the Bible that uh that I know of.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: I've found many things that looked contradictory at first glance.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: But if you give it a little time and ask God for wisdom, like the Bible says, you'll get it either real quick or a little later on.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: But um I've found so many, it seems like everything I've ever had a problem with in the Bible that didn't seem to make sense and it didn't seem to jive with other uh scriptures, I found out that it does.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: We just have to rightly understand and divide and look at context and and read it with the with with the the clear wisdom that God gives.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: And if you hear it, then it makes perfect sense to you.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: But there's a uh we were in a church sometime back, and and uh the pastors were telling us that someone had just preached the previous month there, I guess, and was reading these scriptures three times in the New Testament.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: The Bible says, Jesus himself speaking, here in Matthew 6, also in Matthew 18, and over in Mark 11, he says that if you do not forgive, if you do not forgive people, your father in heaven will not forgive you.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: Anybody ever read that?
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: It's right here.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: Look at it, verse 12.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: He says, For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly father will forgive you.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your father forgive your trespasses.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: So what this man deduced from it, reading this verse, Jesus said the same thing in chapter 18 of Matthew.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: He says the same thing in Mark 11.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: Same thing.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: So what he said was, he says, This is hard, you may not like it, but if you don't forgive people, if you've got unforgiveness towards someone, you go to hell.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: God, you're not forgiven.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: And that's what it looks like it says.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: And thank God the church, I mean the pastors, you know, actually pulled him aside later and said, We don't teach that here.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: He says, Well, it's the Bible.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: He said, I'm not backing off, it's the word of God.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: But see, y'all are feeling funny about right now because you know it's in the Bible, and you know something ain't right here because you also know how God forgives to the uttermost, and you know how powerful the work of Jesus on the cross and his death, burial, and resurrection is, and you know that it's all about that.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: So why did Jesus Himself say that?
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: Why is there this big condition to be forgiven by God?
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: Now, people also say there's other conditions.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: Some people say, God won't forgive you if you don't forgive other people.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: They'll say, according to Scripture, they'll say, God won't forgive you if you don't repent.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: That you're forgiven only if you repent of your sin.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: And when you repent of your sin, that's when you're forgiven.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: Or they'll say, 1 John 1 9, you're only forgiven of your sin if you will confess your sin.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: Now that was the one that scared me a lot.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: You've heard me talk about that.
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: Maybe it scared some of you if you ever believed that.
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: I did early on, because that's what I was I was taught, that you had to, that only if you confessed your sin, then God was faithful to forgive your sin, but not until then.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: And so then, of course, I'm the guy that's trying to, before I go to bed, in case I die.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: Like my mama used to make me pray when I was growing up.
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: If I should die before I awake, I hated that prayer.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: I felt like I was praying to die.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: I pray the Lord my soul to take.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: And I was like, but Mama, I want to keep my soul.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: I don't want to go.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: Before I go to bed, I'm praying that God will take my soul.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: Anyway, that's the way I understood that prayer.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: So now, later, years later, when I grew up and I get saved and receive the Lord, and I'm really wanting to walk with Him, and I'm wanting to get to heaven, and I'm wanting to be, you know, all forgiven of all my sins.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: So, of course, before I go to bed, I'm confessing every sin that I that I could remember that day, but my memory's never been that great about details.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: So then I would add it, and anything else I forgot, hoping that that was good enough to cover it.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: Well, here's the truth about that, and this is why it's a hard scripture, and it can be confusing.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: The truth is, here's the truth.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: If you think that you're forgiven of the sins that you confess, the truth is you've committed more sins than you even can remember.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: So you're all lost.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: You're all living without God's forgiveness, if that was true.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: If it was true that it was only the sins that you confessed that you got forgiven.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: So, without further ado, let's get into this so I don't run out of time.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: But if you don't forgive, neither will your father forgive your trespasses.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: So Jesus here, first thing, context.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: In this whole passage of Scripture here where Jesus is speaking, beginning in Matthew 5 and then into 6, he's telling things, he's saying things like, if your righteousness does not exceed the righteousness of the Pharisees.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: Because the righteousness of the Pharisees was about keeping the law.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: And he says, and you guys hear, you guys, you know, you've you you guys here heard it say that, you know, not to commit adultery.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: I say, I tell you, if you've been looking at a woman to lust, you've already done it in your heart.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: He would he would get to that.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: He would make the standard even higher.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: He would, what he was doing in a lot of his teaching here, was he was showing the fallibility of the law and the impossibility of anybody that thinks that that's the way to keep it.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: He was showing them how lost they were with the law.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: He was showing them how hard it was to attain righteousness and even forgiveness, because he knew how hard it was for men to forgive everyone that there was.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: And if you have any problem with that, understand the revelation of after he died, after he gave the sacrifice, after he shed his blood for the remission of our sin.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: After Romans 8 says, He paid, gave, made the righteous requirement of the law so that it would be fulfilled in each of us.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: So it supersedes any penalty or any yeah, but or any if you but if you do, then he will.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: If you don't, then he don't.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: It supersedes all that because all the righteous requirement necessary was fulfilled with him.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: That's why we are Christians.
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: That's why we praise Jesus and we're thankful and grateful to him because what we could not do because of the weakness of our flesh, we could not forgive everybody.
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: Have you ever tried it in your own strength?
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: I tried it for years, even as a Christian.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: Some of them were easy, some of them were hard.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: The ones that were closest to me, that hurt me the most, boy, it was hard.
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: I tried, I cried, begged God to help me.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: When I realized how much he loved me and accepted totally that it's all about the work of Jesus, and it's not contingent upon my ability, strength, or willpower to do the right thing, and trusted completely in his righteousness, it became something that I just can't help.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: Now it's so ridiculous.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: People say, How can you forgive them?
- 12:23SPEAKER_00: Like, how can I not?
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: I can't help it.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: It's just what happens?
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: So, there again, when you put stipulation like that, you're talking law.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: And so this is why we need to learn to rightly divide the word of truth, because there is a division in this word between the old and the new.
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: And Jesus, the sacrifice, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, marks the beginning of the new, and it becomes all about Him.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: Romans chapter 8, verses 3 through 5 says, For what the law could not do, and that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending his own son in the likeness of sinful flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who walk not according to the flesh law, but according to the spirit, faith.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: Because those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the spirit, the things of the spirit.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: So they're looking at the flesh, law, carnality, their ability, man's strength.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: So the truth is, you're forgiven.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: In fact, 2 Corinthians chapter 5 tells us that God is not imputing the world's trespasses unto them.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: The whole world.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: You know, here's something about God.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: And this is something that I'm not sure a lot of us as believers really really understand in today's world society.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: Did you ever notice that?
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: Let me say this.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: In the days that Jesus walked the earth, Rome was horrible with the Jews, the children of Abraham.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: Rome was a bully and oppressive and tormenting.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: Jesus did not protest Rome.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: Jesus doesn't, we don't see him saying, you know, rallying people to be against Rome.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: Because he did what he saw the Father do.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: What what what what was the father?
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: Did God did God hate the Romans?
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: Well, obviously he didn't like what Rome does.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: He hates oppressiveness.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: But he's in love.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: He was in love with Romans.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: He came to die for Romans who were oppressing the children of Abraham.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: Is God against socialism?
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: Now I'm a capitalist.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: I don't believe socialism is the way.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: I believe I'm a capitalist.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: I think it's it's it's the best that man's come up with.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: I'm glad that we hope we continue to be like that as a country.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: But is God really fighting that?
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: Or is he in love with socialists?
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: And if there is a fight, I could say, okay, but it's an indirect fight.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: Did he?
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: Did he really hate what Rome was doing to him?
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: I'm sure he did, but how is he going to fix it by loving the Romans?
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: So what he did, his idea of fixing the world, was the right one, and so he gave his life, and so that so that by the sacrifice of the perfect one, none of the world's sins would be imputed to them.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: They would all be forgiven.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: Today, every single soul on planet earth has been forgiven, and God is not holding one sin against them.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: That's big, but that's Jesus.
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: Somebody says, Well, what's the purpose of evangelism?
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: Why tell anybody if God's already forgiven?
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: Because a lot of people have not received that forgiveness and they're suffering and will suffer because of it.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: They just do.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: Like the man that we were talking about there last night.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: The man was living in torment simply because he had not received the love of God.
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: And God was loving him the whole time.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: God loved that man.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: There wasn't a moment that God didn't love that man.
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: But he didn't know it, and he suffered because of what he didn't know.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: And last night he received it.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: He just opened his heart and said yes to it.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: And it made the change.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: Inside and outside.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: How big is that?
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: How fearless is that?
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: How much love is that?
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: To go ahead and forgive a whole world.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: Terrorists.
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: God, according to the word of God, is not holding their sins against them.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: But they're totally oblivious.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: And it's the obliviousness to any knowledge of what God and who God really is that results in something as ugly as what they're doing.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: The forgiveness is never the issue with God.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: The forgiveness has been forever settled.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: He does not impute the world's sins against them.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: Having forgiven all trespasses.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: So the word to them is really a word of repent, and I'll deal with that one now.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: Because people say, well, it's only if you repent are you forgiven.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: And look at the scriptures that look like it says that.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: Let's go to uh a repentance scripture.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: The book of Acts, chapter 3, because it where it tells you to repent so that your sins will be blotted out.
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: Acts chapter 3.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: And uh verse 19.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: He says, Repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: So right there, someone says, Well, see, your sins are not blotted out unless you repent.
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: Repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: First of all, well, I could take a lot of time on this one, but we don't have that.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: The word repent is probably the most misused, misunderstood word in the King James or similar translations of the Bible.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: The word repent, as we know, the reason the word repent is even in there, because there's nothing that means repent in the way that we use it in the English language that was in this, in the manuscripts when it was written.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: The word repent comes from the word uh penance, which there was a in the Latin Bible, which was the Catholic Bible, the Latin Vulgate of the time, they used the word, the word that means penance.
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: Be sorry for it.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: Pay penance for it.
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: And so they use that word repent to do penance.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: And so then there's something for us to do, because that's what they believed.
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: The word in the Greek is metanoia, which does not mean anything about being, do not, it does not talk about being sorrowful for your sins.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: It doesn't mean cry your eyes out and feel real bad about it.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: What it literally means, and this is the word, and if you would just read it like that, they threw this word repent, and it gave us a wrong meaning.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: The word metanoia simply means to change your mind, to change your thinking.
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: And so what he's doing is he's preaching about Jesus here.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: He's preaching about the one that they crucified.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: He's preaching about the one that they didn't think was the one.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: And he tells them all about Jesus.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: And so because he presents Jesus to them, he says, repent.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: Or he actually doesn't say repent.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: He says, metanoiah.
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: So change your mind about it.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: Change your thinking about what?
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: Your sin?
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: About Jesus.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: This is where the big thing, the big change needs to happen.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: This is what I deal with all the time is that people need to change their idea about Jesus.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: For one, that he has forgiven to the uttermost, and he has paid the penalty for everything that he showed us the expression, the expression of the Father, because he was the perfect expression of the Father to us in the flesh.
- 21:10SPEAKER_00: And he showed us what the love of God looks like in every single situation.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: And he showed us what he thinks of us.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: So repent concerning Jesus.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: Now, this what you got I hate to have to do it, but you have to look up the words, and what it how it would actually read in Greek is to change your mind and be changed unto where it looks like it says so that, like there's a condition, unto the blotting out of sins.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: In other words, believe that it's completely blotted out because it has been.
- 21:51SPEAKER_00: Change your idea about Jesus because he's blotted them all out, and so change your mind to that blotting out.
- 21:58unknown: Whew.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: And that's what we have.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: Now I had to bring my little Bible here because I knew I was about to run out of power with my big one.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: So bear with me.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: The word rep when people think of repent, what do they think of repent of what?
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: Repent of sin.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: If you've got a concordance, look this up.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: Look it up.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: Even in the King James, where the word repent is used, you don't see the phrase in the New Testament.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: Repent of sin.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: It'll say repent in this, like it does here, unto your sins being blotted.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: It'll say repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: It'll say repent a few times, but you will never find the phrase repent of your sin.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: Check it out.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: It's shocking.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: I've done it.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: Okay, Rick, you know, I track with you pretty good, but now you're getting a little bit scary.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: Because, Rick, what you will produce with that kind of thinking and preaching is a bunch of people that are going to live all ugly, smugly, and sinful, and they're just going to walk around saying, I'm forgiven.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: And they're going to do all kinds of sinful, ugly things, and it's going to get worse and worse, and they're just going to go around and they're going to do anything, and there's nothing to stop them.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: They'll never repent of their sins, which in our minds is not the biblical word for it, our idea, but in our minds it means they'll never feel sorrowful for it.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: They'll never feel bad enough about it to change themselves.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: But the whole metanoia, it'd be best if we would just not use that word because it's not a biblical word.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: Repent is not.
- 24:08SPEAKER_00: Which means when you're thinking of penance.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: It means change the mind.
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: And it's always about changing the mind about God, about Jesus, about the kingdom of God.
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: People's minds need to be changed about.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: This is what I deal with people, what their mind needs to be changed about.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: It's not about I need to convince everybody they're a sinner.
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: Don't need to convince everybody they're not good enough.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: Almost everybody I deal with believes they're not good enough.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: If I convince them that God won't bless them or love them until they do this particular penance here, that's not what I need to convince people of.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: That's not the problem, the issue that I deal with.
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: With the issue I deal with is what they think about Jesus.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: So the ministry of the Word and the ministry of the Holy Spirit in your life, what's he doing?
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: He's testifying of him, not testifying of sin.
- 25:07SPEAKER_00: He'll convince you of righteousness.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: Well, Rick, it says that he'll convicts us of sin too.
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: He convicts of sin.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: That's another one.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: Conviction.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: Conviction of sin because they don't believe in me.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: Sin is hamartuo, hamartyo, which means to miss the mark.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: The sin that came into the world happened in the Garden of Eden, and all of us have eaten of that fruit and have been damned by it.
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: That's where we miss the mark.
- 25:50SPEAKER_00: And the Holy Spirit convicts of that, and that's what causes the heart to believe on him.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: And because he also convicts us, convinces us of righteousness.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: And he convinces us of judgment if you'll listen to him.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: He says, He'll convince you of judgment because the prince of this world is judged.
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: Once and for all.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: It ain't some future judgment.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: It's all happened.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: He destroyed him with the power of the.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: But if you don't metanoia, if you don't change your mind about it, you'll believe all kinds of goofy stuff.
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: You'll think Jesus is not supreme, that there's this war still going on here.
- 26:31SPEAKER_00: That gets us off into something different there.
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: But let's deal with another part of this.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: 1 John 1.9.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: If, Brother Rick, if we confess our sins, if we confess our sins, then he's faithful and just to forgive us.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: It doesn't say he does it before we confess our sins.
- 26:56SPEAKER_00: It says, if we confess our sins, that he's faithful and just to forgive us our sins.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: Oh, this is a good one.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: I can't wait to read this.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: 1 John chapter 1.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: Verse 1.
- 27:17SPEAKER_00: See, gotta read context.
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: Why did John write that?
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: Why does all the rest of this New Testament talk about how Jesus is the propitiation?
- 27:29SPEAKER_00: In fact, John writes it here in this chapter.
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: Why does it say that God has is not imputing the world's sins unto them?
- 27:37SPEAKER_00: And then here it says, well, he doesn't impute the sins if you confess your sin.
- 27:46SPEAKER_00: Look at verse one.
- 27:48SPEAKER_00: That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled concerning the word of life.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: This life was manifested, and we have seen it, and we bear witness, and we declare to you that eternal life that was with the Father and was manifested to us, verse 3, that which we have seen and heard, we declare to you that you may have fellowship with us, and truly our fellowship is with the Father.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: Now, notice here, he even repeats it.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: He makes this point.
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: Our hands have handled it.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: We have seen him, we've heard him, he was manifested.
- 28:36SPEAKER_00: He starts off this epistle here with that big statement there.
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: Why does he do that?
- 28:43SPEAKER_00: Does anybody know any of you scholars?
- 28:45SPEAKER_00: Chris, you're you're you know, you're student like it.
- 28:48SPEAKER_00: What is Paul, what is John talking about here?
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: It is so fun to study the Bible and fun to study the whys of it was written.
- 29:01SPEAKER_00: In this time, these later years of when when John was writing here, there was a big, big, big issue.
- 29:08SPEAKER_00: You can just read it, you can Google it, and it's, I mean, it's that there's a big issue, a divisive idea in the church.
- 29:19SPEAKER_00: And one of them is what they what they call now Gnosticism.
- 29:23SPEAKER_00: You ever heard of that?
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: Gnosticism was becoming kind of big at that time.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: And really, history states, I mean, it was such a big deal.
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: Gnosticism almost won out and became the dominant idea in Christianity.
- 29:37SPEAKER_00: And John's addressing it here.
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: Gnosticism was a belief that it's really, really cute, that God, the Supreme Being, is perfect.
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: And since he is so perfect, he could not have created this world because this world is so ugly and imperfect and immoral and corrupt.
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: So it was like some form of a lesser God that went to create this world, but he botched it and made it horrible.
- 30:06SPEAKER_00: And therefore, all physical matter is corrupt.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: Everything that we can see and touch is corrupt.
- 30:14SPEAKER_00: It's evil.
- 30:17SPEAKER_00: And because, and they believed that because Jesus was a perfect expression, he could not have been made into physical matter.
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: He did not come in the flesh.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: That's why in 1 John chapter 4, he says, if anyone says that he did not come in the flesh, then he's a false prophet, and that's of the spirit of Antichrist.
- 30:40SPEAKER_00: He that prophesies, this is why that verse is there too, and that's kind of confusing.
- 30:44SPEAKER_00: You think, why do he says, he that prophesies and says Jesus has come in the flesh is of God.
- 30:52SPEAKER_00: And I used to read that and I thought, you know, I've prophesied and heard a lot of real prophecies of God.
- 30:57SPEAKER_00: And I don't think I've ever heard of prophecy where someone said, Yay, Jesus had come in the flesh.
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: I mean, we kind of all know that.
- 31:04SPEAKER_00: But he says, for it to be of God, you have to say Jesus came in the flesh.
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: That's just sort of a given to all of us.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: I don't hear anybody prophesying Jesus has come in the flesh, even though it's true.
- 31:15SPEAKER_00: We know that.
- 31:16SPEAKER_00: But they didn't know it, they didn't believe it.
- 31:19SPEAKER_00: And their utterance was, their teaching was that Jesus did not come in the flesh.
- 31:28SPEAKER_00: So John is writing this and he's saying, We touched him.
- 31:32SPEAKER_00: He was physical.
- 31:34SPEAKER_00: Our hands have handled him.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: We saw him, we heard him, he was manifested.
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: Are y'all with me?
- 31:40SPEAKER_00: So he's addressing this belief that was a very big problem in the church in those days.
- 31:51SPEAKER_00: And so he says, and we're writing these things to you.
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: We're declaring these things so your joy can be full, because you're you don't have it, you're missing it.
- 31:59SPEAKER_00: He says, so your joy can be full, and your fellowship, you can fellowship with us.
- 32:05SPEAKER_00: You can have the same thing that we got.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: Because our fellowship is with the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, and these things be right that your joy may be full.
- 32:17SPEAKER_00: And this is the message that we heard from him and declare to you that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: And if we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness and lie and don't practice the truth, but if we we lie and don't practice the truth, but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: What's light?
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: It's walking in the truth, just like he said.
- 32:37SPEAKER_00: If you know the truth, he said, you guys are walking in this darkness here.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: You've got it all wrong.
- 32:41SPEAKER_00: This is a big why, saying that he didn't come in the flesh.
- 32:44SPEAKER_00: Saying that it's all about this other thing.
- 32:46SPEAKER_00: And Gnosticism Marine is called Gnosticism, is because Gnostic means knowledge, and they thought that simply by just gaining inner knowledge you could save yourself.
- 32:56SPEAKER_00: And they believed that all matter was evil and everything that was not of matter was was was pure and sinless, and they believed that if you could just believe yourself, make yourself believe that you were perfect from the beginning, that man was perfect from the beginning, and that we were, that um there, they actually believed there was no such thing as sin anymore.
- 33:32SPEAKER_00: So Paul says, verse 7, John, excuse me, John, thank you.
- 33:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 33:41SPEAKER_00: But if we walk in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his son, cleanses us from all sin.
- 33:48SPEAKER_00: And then he says, but if we say we have no sin, which if they were believing, there's no such thing.
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves.
- 33:58SPEAKER_00: He wasn't talking about a Christian that believed the blood of Jesus shed for us, took care, and wiped away all of our sin so we don't have any sin, because that's truth.
- 34:09SPEAKER_00: He wasn't talking about somebody who committed a sin and then just lied about it.
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: He's talking to these people with addressing this belief, and he says, if we say that we have no sin, we're deceiving ourselves and the truth not even in us.
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: And so he says, if we confess our sins, he's faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- 34:29SPEAKER_00: So when he's saying the word confess, look at, it means to agree with.
- 34:34SPEAKER_00: In other words, you know, it's a sense basically, you need a savior.
- 34:39SPEAKER_00: You can't save yourselves, Gnostics.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: You needed this savior.
- 34:44SPEAKER_00: You needed that physical blood poured out.
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: He needed that physical crucifixion.
- 34:52SPEAKER_00: And if you will agree that you're a sinner, we have the blood of Jesus.
- 35:07SPEAKER_00: He says he's faithful and just to forgive.
- 35:09SPEAKER_00: That's another good point, too.
- 35:11SPEAKER_00: Notice it says he's faithful and just to forgive.
- 35:13SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 35:13SPEAKER_00: Because of what Jesus did.
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: Someone said to me the other day and said, Yeah, I believe God is love.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: But I believe that his justice is even bigger than his love.
- 35:23SPEAKER_00: I said, maybe his love is his justice.
- 35:27SPEAKER_00: Maybe Jesus doing what he did and paying that price for us, maybe it's just since that death was died for us, since that price was paid for us, maybe it is perfectly just that God forgive all of our sins because of what was done at the cross.
- 35:42SPEAKER_00: That's justice.
- 35:44SPEAKER_00: It's not justice to pay for all the sins and then make you pay again.
- 35:49SPEAKER_00: That's not just.
- 35:51SPEAKER_00: People say, yeah, God forgives us, but he's just.
- 35:53SPEAKER_00: If you sin, he's gotta judge that.
- 35:56SPEAKER_00: Man, we've got to read our Bibles.
- 35:57SPEAKER_00: He judged it on the cross.
- 35:59SPEAKER_00: Are y'all here?
- 36:01SPEAKER_00: That's why all are forgiven.
- 36:03SPEAKER_00: Has nothing to do with your activity or their activity, has nothing to do with the fact that you're a nicer person than the person over there is.
- 36:10SPEAKER_00: And your little sins are forgiven, and their big ones are not.
- 36:16SPEAKER_00: Somebody was telling us a story about.
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: See, here's how we do he was telling us a story of, you know, he he met with a guy who was like uh one of the leaders over a uh a conference of ministries and pastors that I used to be a part of.
- 36:34SPEAKER_00: And uh he said the guy that's leading it, he said he's always been a big guy, but after he saw him said he would just notice that he had really ballooned it to like hundreds of pounds.
- 36:43SPEAKER_00: And uh just just really obese.
- 36:46SPEAKER_00: And he and so they they have lunch, and the guy orders the biggest this and that and everything he can find, the biggest thing that's on the menu, and and slathers his potato with every fattening thing you can, and and and and soaks his, even gets a salad on the side and soaks it and all that white stuff and and and everything, and he's just got a big, gigantic sweet tea, and he's just and he's just sitting there and he's just gobbling it down.
- 37:08SPEAKER_00: And he says, you know, there's something that really concerns me.
- 37:13SPEAKER_00: There's some of our pastors that like to drink wine.
- 37:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, see, and and I didn't describe his condition to judge him or make fun of him, but you see the point when I do that, because it's like he's concerned about what they're doing and can't see his own thing.
- 37:32SPEAKER_00: Do you know if you want to if you want to judge somebody else, you then that's what Jesus was talking about when he said that same judgment said that you're gonna be judged with, you'll judge yourself with it.
- 37:42SPEAKER_00: And uh, if you want to play, well go back to before Jesus and negate the cross and play law and say that somebody shouldn't do this, somebody's bad because they've done this and that and the other, the truth is we all lose.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: We all lose.
- 37:58SPEAKER_00: There's lots of times according to the law that a knife should have been put to my throat.
- 38:06SPEAKER_00: Like last night.
- 38:08SPEAKER_00: Huh?
- 38:12SPEAKER_00: Ah, it's just gluttony.
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: At least it's not fornication.
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: We all lose.
- 38:23SPEAKER_00: We all lose.
- 38:24SPEAKER_00: According to law.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: Fornicator gets stoned to death, you get your throat slit.
- 38:32SPEAKER_00: We all lose.
- 38:36SPEAKER_00: Even if you didn't fornicate, even if you just thought about it.
- 38:42SPEAKER_00: Even if you just looked at somebody and said, I'd like to.
- 38:46SPEAKER_00: Jesus said you still lose.
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: We all lose.
- 38:51SPEAKER_00: With Jesus, we all win.
- 38:54SPEAKER_00: Are y'all here?
- 38:57SPEAKER_00: So this is this is why this verse stands out, and people stand on that, and it seems to go contrary to everything else that Jesus did.
- 39:05SPEAKER_00: After all of that, it's only forgiven if we confess our sins.
- 39:09SPEAKER_00: Now people get scared and they say, well, you know, don't take that away from us, Rick, because you know, because then what happens is, there again, nobody will admit their sins, and everybody will just just act any old way that they want to.
- 39:21SPEAKER_00: Here's the truth.
- 39:22SPEAKER_00: People act any way they want to, anyway.
- 39:24SPEAKER_00: When you find out how much God loves you, it starts changing your want-tos.
- 39:29SPEAKER_00: Are you here?
- 39:30SPEAKER_00: Here's what I confess.
- 39:32SPEAKER_00: And I and I and honestly, grace has changed my life in a most wonderful way.
- 39:36SPEAKER_00: I have become more and more godlike.
- 39:38SPEAKER_00: I really have.
- 39:38SPEAKER_00: But but can I say that it has annihilated every um activity that that that uh that that breaks the moral code of the law?
- 39:49SPEAKER_00: No, I still mess it up.
- 39:52SPEAKER_00: Still m it up.
- 39:54SPEAKER_00: Still haven't found out how to not, I still haven't found out how to live what people would call a sinless life.
- 40:02SPEAKER_00: Where I never violate anything that God gave in the law.
- 40:05SPEAKER_00: I haven't found out how to do that yet, but I have sure grown a whole lot more Christ-like in knowing his love, and that's that happened just accidentally.
- 40:15SPEAKER_00: Just by knowing his love, the Christ-likeness started coming out.
- 40:18SPEAKER_00: I just got lots of love and grace and mercy for people.
- 40:21SPEAKER_00: Lots of encouragement, lots of power, got lots of truth for people that want to hear it.
- 40:30SPEAKER_00: Has it changed my life?
- 40:31SPEAKER_00: Has it changed my activity?
- 40:32SPEAKER_00: Has it changed my lifestyle?
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: Absolutely it has.
- 40:35SPEAKER_00: But it did it without me trying to work it.
- 40:40SPEAKER_00: And so when we look at the bigness of this and the goodness of this, there again, this points to the fact of how much God loves you.
- 40:46SPEAKER_00: Are y'all seeing this?
- 40:48SPEAKER_00: When you see how big the sacrifice is, people say, well, Rick, I'm afraid if you do that, you're going to make too light of sin.
- 40:54SPEAKER_00: No, we're making much of Jesus.
- 40:56SPEAKER_00: And when we make much of Jesus, no wonder sin looks like such a small deal.
- 41:01SPEAKER_00: Are y'all here?
- 41:06SPEAKER_00: So if you believe there's no such thing as sin, if you believe there's if and and I have, and people, people are teaching this.
- 41:12SPEAKER_00: People are starting to teach in some circles that we never were sinners.
- 41:16SPEAKER_00: We never did have the nature of Adam.
- 41:18SPEAKER_00: We never we always were.
- 41:19SPEAKER_00: We were just deceived and just thought wrong the whole time.
- 41:22SPEAKER_00: And he says, wait a minute, if you say that you then you don't even you're then you're saying you didn't ever needed a savior.
- 41:30SPEAKER_00: The truth was we did.
- 41:31SPEAKER_00: And the truth is we got one too.
- 41:35SPEAKER_00: And he finished the work and he completed it.
- 41:38SPEAKER_00: How y'all doing?
- 41:39SPEAKER_00: Let's stand up.
- 41:44SPEAKER_00: Preach to y'all quiet again.
- 41:51SPEAKER_00: Do I do these things?
- 41:52SPEAKER_00: Do I teach these things because I like sin and I just like I just want everybody just to feel really good about being a sinner.
- 42:01SPEAKER_00: I want you to feel good about God loving you no matter what you are.
- 42:07SPEAKER_00: Are y'all here?
- 42:11SPEAKER_00: See, God's never been a controller.
- 42:15SPEAKER_00: He's been a lover.
- 42:19SPEAKER_00: And the reason it is a big issue is because unless you know this very clearly, unless you see this, and you're absolutely convinced of God's total forgiveness for everything, unless you're absolutely convinced of his amazing grace, his total unmerited favor towards you, that means there's no demands or conditions to get this.
- 42:47SPEAKER_00: Unless you're totally convinced of his love with no conditions, with you know, we throw that word God has unconditional love.
- 42:56SPEAKER_00: What's it mean?
- 42:56SPEAKER_00: Think about it.
- 42:57SPEAKER_00: No conditions.
- 43:00SPEAKER_00: You know what we what what we what we we do because there again, like Paul still thinking carnally.
- 43:12SPEAKER_00: A grace that sounds this scandalous scares us.
- 43:17SPEAKER_00: So we want to take grace and put parameters around it.
- 43:21SPEAKER_00: Yes, God is gracious until God is gracious, but yes, God loves us, but why?
- 43:31SPEAKER_00: Because we're scared of that kind of love.
- 43:34SPEAKER_00: We're scared of that kind of love, we're scared of that kind of freedom.
- 43:37SPEAKER_00: We're scared that a sinner might carry on sinful activity and think, have the audacity to think that God loves them anyway.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: The likelihood, in my experience, and what I've seen is that it's when the person finds out that love and how big it is, it shocks them.
- 44:17SPEAKER_00: I was dealing with Christians that had never heard what we talked about today.
- 44:23SPEAKER_00: Last night, they never had heard how big God's love.
- 44:27SPEAKER_00: It was always limited.
- 44:31SPEAKER_00: It was always yes, but.
- 44:35SPEAKER_00: We're not talking about a man here that saved us.
- 44:38SPEAKER_00: We're talking about an eternal God whose love has no boundaries.
- 44:44SPEAKER_00: He showed that through his death.
- 44:49SPEAKER_00: Consider it right now, and this is my altar call right where you're at.
- 44:53SPEAKER_00: Consider that maybe his love is that big.
- 44:58SPEAKER_00: Consider that his forgiveness reaches that far.
- 45:04SPEAKER_00: Consider that the blood of Jesus really is that precious and that powerful.
- 45:10SPEAKER_00: Consider that the price was that big and it was more than enough.
- 45:16SPEAKER_00: What will it do?
- 45:18SPEAKER_00: Will it make you continue in sin because grace abounds?
- 45:22SPEAKER_00: Paul says, How can we?
- 45:27SPEAKER_00: Well, Rick, what you believe will make people continue in sin.
- 45:31SPEAKER_00: The grace of the How can I?
- 45:36SPEAKER_00: How can I?
- 45:38SPEAKER_00: When through this gospel, through this good news, this truth, it has killed me, crucified me to that old thing.
- 45:48SPEAKER_00: To where it truly is all about Him, so there's no there's nothing else to live unto except Him.
- 45:54SPEAKER_00: In all of His goodness.
- 46:00SPEAKER_00: You're loved this morning.
- 46:03SPEAKER_00: You're loved more than you ever thought anybody could love you.
- 46:09SPEAKER_00: That love will open your heart and your body can receive healing because you know God's that good.
- 46:15SPEAKER_00: I don't care if you thought you brought it on yourself, it don't matter.
- 46:18SPEAKER_00: God's the healer.
- 46:22SPEAKER_00: Don't matter if you've done so many dirty deeds, you deserve to be suffered like this.
- 46:26SPEAKER_00: It don't matter.
- 46:26SPEAKER_00: God's your lover, God's your healer.
- 46:32SPEAKER_00: It still boggles me.
- 46:34SPEAKER_00: I'm getting such a much more of a strong hold on this, but it's still, I can't help it, it still boggles me that it's as big as I think it is, I look at it again and it's just, it goes farther, it's bigger.
- 46:52SPEAKER_00: Does God hate terrorism?
- 46:54SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 46:54SPEAKER_00: Look at it.
- 46:55SPEAKER_00: It's such an ugly, horrible thing.
- 47:01SPEAKER_00: Does he love terrorists?
- 47:02SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 47:06SPEAKER_00: And Muslims are getting saved every single day in the Middle East.
- 47:17SPEAKER_00: Now you can't turn on the blue news and get that.
- 47:22SPEAKER_00: Keep your ear to the good news and you'll see what's going on.
- 47:28SPEAKER_00: Father, I thank you for your priceless gift.
- 47:38SPEAKER_00: Father, without that kind of forgiveness, I can't stand.
- 47:45SPEAKER_00: Without that kind of forgiveness, I don't make it.
- 47:51SPEAKER_00: I don't know how.
- 47:54SPEAKER_00: But I'm grateful.
- 47:55SPEAKER_00: I'm so, so grateful this morning.
- 48:00SPEAKER_00: Without that kind of love, I'm still searching.
- 48:03SPEAKER_00: I'm still wishing.
- 48:05SPEAKER_00: I'm still hoping.
- 48:06SPEAKER_00: I still feel alone at times without that kind of love.
- 48:14SPEAKER_00: But what you've shown us causes to rejoice, knowing we'll never be alone again.
- 48:20SPEAKER_00: And we'll never be without love.
- 48:22SPEAKER_00: And though the world would forsake us, we are loved by the one that matters.
- 48:31SPEAKER_00: I love you, Father.
- 48:35SPEAKER_00: I love you in a way I never dreamed possible.
- 48:39SPEAKER_00: Right now, Father, let every heart open up and let everyone just receive the joy of the goodness of your heart.
- 48:47SPEAKER_00: Let your love flow like a river that saves and it heals, transforms, and makes everything new.
- 48:57SPEAKER_00: I give you all the praise in that wonderful name of Jesus who died for us.
- 49:04SPEAKER_00: And we celebrate.
- 49:06SPEAKER_00: Amen.
