- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Becca Tilly and Tanya Radd, an iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two-time People's Choice Award-winning podcast.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Hello, everybody. You have to turn your mic on.
- 0:18Speaker 1: We are scrubbing in.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Girl goes to Thailand for 10 days, comes back, and
- 0:23Speaker 2: she's a little rusty.
- 0:24Speaker 1: I am.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Jet lagged oh still um you got back thursday yeah yeah.
- 0:31Speaker 1: I know that's crazy yeah yeah no it just.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Hit late i guess perk up buttercup because we got
- 0:38Speaker 2: a show to do today we.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Do have a show um we well i saw that
- 0:44Speaker 1: you posted about earl meets world yeah and we started
- 0:48Speaker 1: as well i think we're on episode.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Four i think i'm on like six.
- 0:51Speaker 1: What are your thoughts on them? Well, did you know
- 0:54Speaker 1: about their family before?
- 0:56Speaker 2: Zero. Zero. So I came in blind. I follow Alex Earl,
- 1:00Speaker 2: but like barely. Like when I tell you I see
- 1:03Speaker 2: maybe I've seen how many videos does she post a day?
- 1:07Speaker 2: A lot. Yeah. I've seen like 10 to 20 videos
- 1:11Speaker 2: of hers in my life. Do you know what I mean?
- 1:13Speaker 2: She's not in my algorithm. So I don't, but I
- 1:16Speaker 2: like know of her and like, I think she's cute
- 1:18Speaker 2: and fun and whatever, but like, I don't know her
- 1:20Speaker 2: family dynamic. I don't know. Like, I didn't know anything.
- 1:23Speaker 2: So I went in like super blind.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Whoa. So what are your initial thoughts?
- 1:28Speaker 2: Um, my initial thoughts were, I, I loved seeing a
- 1:34Speaker 2: blended family, like really blend and do it. So well,
- 1:40Speaker 2: you know, like, obviously I know that they have issues
- 1:42Speaker 2: and they like talk them through, but like seeing them
- 1:44Speaker 2: all at the dinner table. Seeing so Alex Earl has
- 1:49Speaker 2: her sister's Ashton. The two of them have a mom
- 1:52Speaker 2: named Alyssa. And then they have other siblings with their
- 1:56Speaker 2: stepmom and their dad. They have three kids. So they
- 1:59Speaker 2: have like blended kids, blended parents. They're all having dinner together.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Their mom, Alyssa, has like a beautiful relationship with their
- 2:08Speaker 2: half siblings.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Like, I don't know.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I just thought I just to me, like, I just
- 2:11Speaker 2: think that that's so cool. And I thought that was awesome.
- 2:14Speaker 2: So it's cool for me to see that. I also
- 2:17Speaker 2: had no idea that Alex had a sister that she
- 2:18Speaker 2: was best friends with. I think she's like so cool
- 2:20Speaker 2: and so cute.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:23Speaker 2: And I think that their relationships with their siblings is
- 2:26Speaker 2: just like, I don't know. I just really enjoy their
- 2:28Speaker 2: family dynamic.
- 2:30Speaker 1: So I just following Alex know, you know, the dynamic
- 2:34Speaker 1: of their family and everything. But I was just blown
- 2:39Speaker 1: away at the strength of their mom to go and
- 2:43Speaker 1: have those dinners and sit there and be so involved.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Because it wasn't like they just split up, the parents. Yes.
- 2:50Speaker 1: He had an affair and married the woman he was with.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:56Speaker 1: So the strength to show up and be a part,
- 3:01Speaker 1: and when they made the comment about her going on
- 3:03Speaker 1: The Golden Bachelor, I was like, no one needs to
- 3:08Speaker 1: say anything that could even be taken out of context
- 3:11Speaker 1: in a bad way.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Yeah. To her. Yes, correct. I... That also, I forget that.
- 3:19Speaker 2: So I also wasn't familiar with like their stepmom. I
- 3:25Speaker 2: might need somebody to look this up.
- 3:26Speaker 1: She was an escort.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Escort. Paid escort.
- 3:31Speaker 1: For a politician. She was in the news. Yes.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Yes. And. Mark's nodding like he knows the story.
- 3:37Speaker 3: I remember the story. Oh, you do? The Spencer story.
- 3:39Speaker 1: No, I remember it too.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I like vaguely remember. And I actually have been meaning
- 3:44Speaker 2: to since I've been watching the show to freshen up
- 3:46Speaker 2: on like her details. Um, so I, again, I'm not
- 3:51Speaker 2: so familiar with her, but I did know that she
- 3:55Speaker 2: had an affair with the dad.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Right.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Um, which is crazy. But I think when you're, when
- 4:03Speaker 2: you have kids, you put your kids, you should put
- 4:07Speaker 2: your kids wellbeing above your own, um, uncomfortableness and I
- 4:11Speaker 2: think also too like they said it was uncomfortable for
- 4:14Speaker 2: a little bit and then it became less uncomfortable and
- 4:16Speaker 2: then less uncomfortable and now they have like an actual
- 4:18Speaker 2: relationship which is like so yeah beautiful.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Well it takes every single person well all the adults
- 4:25Speaker 1: to say okay let's let's prioritize making sure the kids
- 4:29Speaker 1: are at uncomfortable you know yeah and make the adults
- 4:34Speaker 1: step up yeah but still I was like well totally
- 4:40Speaker 1: Really a lot of strength.
- 4:41Speaker 2: A lot of strength.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Really?
- 4:43Speaker 2: She's a hero. But I like the stepmom too. And
- 4:47Speaker 2: I think because I am a stepmom, I like when
- 4:51Speaker 2: she was saying that it was like really hard for
- 4:53Speaker 2: her in the beginning, like the girls would like put
- 4:54Speaker 2: toothpaste in her shoes and stuff. I'm like, that's so crazy.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Like I could not imagine. I did not have that situation.
- 5:01Speaker 2: And that would be really tough.
- 5:03Speaker 1: And I almost feel like. The dynamic of having two
- 5:06Speaker 1: teenage girls or young girls who have strong personalities would
- 5:10Speaker 1: be really challenging as a woman to come into that situation.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Yes.
- 5:14Speaker 1: As opposed to you have boy step sons who are
- 5:18Speaker 1: so sweet and like chill.
- 5:21Speaker 2: So cute. Like literally, I could not imagine if they
- 5:25Speaker 2: like had done anything like that. It would have sent me.
- 5:28Speaker 1: What would you have done if they put toothpaste in
- 5:30Speaker 1: your shoes?
- 5:32Speaker 2: Honestly, it would have made me so, it would make
- 5:35Speaker 2: me spiral. I don't know if I could handle, I
- 5:36Speaker 2: don't even think I have the, because there's challenges that
- 5:39Speaker 2: come with all of this. You know what I mean?
- 5:41Speaker 2: But the kids were not ever a part of that.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Like they were always like so sweet to me.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Right. Yeah. I know those.
- 5:51Speaker 2: When they said that, when she said that they put
- 5:53Speaker 2: toothpaste in her shoes, I was like, dang.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I'm seeing all these Kardashian comparisons where they're saying Alex
- 6:01Speaker 1: is Kim. Ashton is kind of a mix of Khloe
- 6:04Speaker 1: and Kourtney. And then the two younger girls are.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Kylie and Kendall.
- 6:10Speaker 1: And then the dad is Kris.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I didn't even think about that. That's a pretty good comparison. Yeah.
- 6:17Speaker 1: And I actually feel like, I think it's hard with
- 6:19Speaker 1: reality TV now because I do think when it was
- 6:22Speaker 1: the hills and Laguna Beach and there it didn't feel
- 6:26Speaker 1: so produced and staged. And I feel like it's been
- 6:29Speaker 1: hard for reality TV to get back to that where
- 6:33Speaker 1: you don't feel like everything's set up. In the first
- 6:36Speaker 1: few episodes, I could feel that everyone's adjusting to having
- 6:40Speaker 1: cameras around, you know?
- 6:41Speaker 2: Oh, really? See, to me, it felt like they were
- 6:44Speaker 2: just living their lives and like the cameras were there.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Aside from the one they're like, can I pull you
- 6:49Speaker 2: for a chat? I'm like, okay. This conversation needed to
- 6:52Speaker 2: happen on camera. Right. But I'm fine with it.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Yeah. Have you gotten, do they talk about the Alex
- 6:58Speaker 1: Cooper stuff at all?
- 6:59Speaker 2: Yes.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Have you gotten to that? I haven't gotten in that yet.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I mean, they talked loosely about.
- 7:02Speaker 2: That's it. Oh.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:04Speaker 2: That's all you get.
- 7:07Speaker 1: But did it, I don't know if I missed a part,
- 7:08Speaker 1: did it show where Alex Cooper called Alex out?
- 7:12Speaker 2: They didn't show it? I don't even think that they can.
- 7:14Speaker 2: I don't think it's happened yet.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Oh, really? Because it happened at Coachella. And I don't
- 7:19Speaker 1: think Coachella's happened yet, depending on what season you're on.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Oh, okay. Okay, then maybe I still have it to come,
- 7:24Speaker 2: which is exciting. They did mention it briefly, like within
- 7:28Speaker 2: the first episode or two.
- 7:29Speaker 1: About her doing the podcast, starting the podcast.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. So I saw that, but
- 7:33Speaker 2: I haven't seen anything else. Oh, I'm excited.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And then a lot of people are like, I just
- 7:38Speaker 1: feel like this whole thing is about Braxton. And it's
- 7:40Speaker 1: interesting because when someone's dating someone and they're famous on
- 7:44Speaker 1: social media, so many people, that's all they do care
- 7:46Speaker 1: about is their relationships. And then, of course, they break
- 7:49Speaker 1: up and she's navigating. We're watching her go through the breakup.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:53Speaker 1: And people are like, all she's talking about is Braxton.
- 7:55Speaker 1: But that is what happens.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Yeah, when you go through a breakup, that's all you
- 7:59Speaker 2: talk about. But I also think I never realized about
- 8:02Speaker 2: her that she's like a serial dater. Like, she's never
- 8:04Speaker 2: been alone.
- 8:04Speaker 3: I didn't know that either.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Which is also, like, that's probably why it's so hard
- 8:07Speaker 2: for her to go through all these big life moments
- 8:09Speaker 2: and not have a partner to, like, you know, bounce
- 8:13Speaker 2: off of or support her. So it's probably, like, even
- 8:15Speaker 2: more traumatic. And also filming a reality show is probably...
- 8:18Speaker 2: just crazy in and of itself.
- 8:20Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 8:21Speaker 1: I know. Yeah. But I, I like, I am an
- 8:25Speaker 1: Alex Earl fan and I feel like they've, everything they've
- 8:29Speaker 1: done has felt very well thought out.
- 8:33Speaker 2: I'm much more of an Alex Earl fan than I
- 8:35Speaker 2: was ever before. Um, I also was very disappointed in
- 8:39Speaker 2: all the Alex Cooper stuff. I never really realized that
- 8:43Speaker 2: Alex Earl looked up to Alex Cooper because And she
- 8:47Speaker 2: was like a role model to her. And just like the,
- 8:53Speaker 2: I get it that Alex Cooper's podcast is like a
- 8:55Speaker 2: sex podcast and they ask uncomfortable questions. But like when
- 8:58Speaker 2: you have a girl that's like 10 years younger than
- 9:00Speaker 2: you asking you if you can edit out where she's
- 9:03Speaker 2: like talking about her favorite sex position or like whatever
- 9:06Speaker 2: it is and you say no, like it just, I
- 9:10Speaker 2: don't know. It's not giving modern woman energy. Like it
- 9:12Speaker 2: just didn't feel like if you're seasoned in this industry,
- 9:18Speaker 2: like you should be helping the younger generation or like
- 9:23Speaker 2: not even, I don't know how to explain it. It just,
- 9:25Speaker 2: it wasn't even, she wasn't even not helping. She was
- 9:28Speaker 2: like using her and, um, I don't know.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Well, I think it's, I think as podcast hosts, even
- 9:36Speaker 1: when if we say something and we're like, hey, can
- 9:38Speaker 1: we edit that out? I don't I don't think I
- 9:40Speaker 1: want that out there. If a guest comes on and
- 9:42Speaker 1: they want something edited out, we would never be like, no, literally,
- 9:47Speaker 1: you know, can you imagine? No, there's been so many
- 9:49Speaker 1: times where, you know, there's been things that it's like, well,
- 9:52Speaker 1: can you cut that? Yeah, of course.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Also, like people don't know when they're a guest. She
- 9:58Speaker 2: didn't have her own podcast at the time.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Right.
- 10:00Speaker 2: A guest, you're put on the spot. Like, sometimes you
- 10:01Speaker 2: say things that you don't necessarily want to. You get nervous.
- 10:04Speaker 1: But I also think Alex Cooper, that's why she's so
- 10:06Speaker 1: good at what she does, because she makes people feel
- 10:08Speaker 1: comfortable enough to just talk freely. But as a guest...
- 10:13Speaker 1: you talk freely and then you leave the comfort of
- 10:15Speaker 1: that room and you're like, what did I just talk about?
- 10:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:19Speaker 1: That's going to be broadcast to millions of people. It's,
- 10:23Speaker 1: it's a vulnerable place.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:25Speaker 1: But I mean, I think that they both just should
- 10:28Speaker 1: have never gotten into a working relationship together personally.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, I don't know. That whole thing just
- 10:35Speaker 2: made me, um, really sad. Um, Cause I too, I
- 10:40Speaker 2: think looked up to Alex Cooper for a really long time.
- 10:42Speaker 2: And then I started like seeing all these tech talks
- 10:44Speaker 2: and stuff about like Alex Cooper's only time giving back
- 10:49Speaker 2: has been this like baby registry thing that she's been
- 10:51Speaker 2: doing now. But everybody's saying that she's just doing it
- 10:53Speaker 2: to like mask all the noise, all the hate that's
- 10:55Speaker 2: happening online about her. And I'm like, I don't know.
- 10:57Speaker 2: It's just making me like sad.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Yeah. That's the only time she's given back, you're saying? Yeah.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Like, Alex Earle, when she started getting famous, she did, like,
- 11:05Speaker 2: a lot to give back to, like, the community and stuff. And, like,
- 11:08Speaker 2: they were saying how Alex Cooper, this is, like, the
- 11:09Speaker 2: first thing that she's done now with the baby registries.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Oh.
- 11:12Speaker 2: And it's just to, like, mask all this noise.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I think it's just one of those things where it's,
- 11:18Speaker 1: you know, the need to pick a side. Or you
- 11:22Speaker 1: can just say they're both... They both are humans and flawed.
- 11:25Speaker 1: And I think maybe... I agree. I think Alex Cooper did.
- 11:29Speaker 1: She could have gone about how she handled Alex's podcast
- 11:34Speaker 1: episode and what she shared. She could have handled that
- 11:36Speaker 1: differently just to set an example. And she didn't. She
- 11:39Speaker 1: chose to probably have a more popular and talked about
- 11:44Speaker 1: podcast episode. And I don't think either of them are bad.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I don't think it's like a bad person situation. I
- 11:50Speaker 1: just think how you sometimes you make decisions that don't
- 11:56Speaker 1: set a good example. That's my opinion. I just think
- 12:01Speaker 1: there's like a... The internet for me, it bugs me
- 12:04Speaker 1: because it's such a dog pile. Everything's just like an
- 12:07Speaker 1: extreme dog pile reaction. One person says this, the other
- 12:12Speaker 1: person says this. Someone picks a side and you just
- 12:14Speaker 1: get bashed. And I don't think it's always that black
- 12:20Speaker 1: and white.
- 12:21Speaker 2: I agree with you. I don't think it's that black
- 12:23Speaker 2: and white. But seeing a little bit more... of it
- 12:27Speaker 2: and just understanding this industry, I'm disappointed in the way
- 12:31Speaker 2: Alex Cooper handled all of this.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I know, but I'm saying, I don't know if, if
- 12:36Speaker 1: Alex Cooper did a reality show and told her side,
- 12:41Speaker 1: if it would be, different. You know what I'm saying?
- 12:43Speaker 2: Well, maybe she should.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Maybe she will.
- 12:46Speaker 2: She should, honestly, because you're right. Like if she explained
- 12:49Speaker 2: her side, I maybe I would see it a little
- 12:51Speaker 2: bit more clearly. But like right now, I'm definitely team
- 12:53Speaker 2: Alex Earl.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I think that's just how life is, though. You hear
- 12:56Speaker 1: one version of a story and And then you hear
- 12:58Speaker 1: it from another side and it's like, both people can
- 13:01Speaker 1: have their truth. Yes.
- 13:03Speaker 2: But then there are some stories you hear from one
- 13:05Speaker 2: side and the other, and you're still very much like, yeah.
- 13:08Speaker 2: So it's not always gray. There is some black and
- 13:11Speaker 2: white out there.
- 13:12Speaker 1: There are, there are, there is good and there is wrong.
- 13:14Speaker 1: There is right. And there is wrong. Correct.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Um, also like the dad kind of gives me like
- 13:20Speaker 2: weird vibes. I'm not going to lie. I'm like, I
- 13:22Speaker 2: get he's the dadager and like cute, but I'm like.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Well, like, Like, talking about her boob job and stuff.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. Like, I'm just not, like, can
- 13:31Speaker 2: we not with, like, that? You know what I mean?
- 13:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Like, I'm all about the mom, the stepmom, all
- 13:41Speaker 2: the kids, but the dad was giving me weird vibes.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm excited to finish it.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Me too. I'm ready for a season two.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Oh, wow. Well, give the people some time to live,
- 13:55Speaker 1: to film and live. Are we going to watch Dancing
- 13:58Speaker 1: with the Stars this year?
- 14:00Speaker 2: We are going to watch Dancing with the Stars this year.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I watched it last year.
- 14:03Speaker 2: I watched clips.
- 14:06Speaker 1: But you're going to sit down and watch episodes?
- 14:08Speaker 2: I think so. Whoa. Because we've got a horse in
- 14:10Speaker 2: the race.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Who?
- 14:12Speaker 2: Ezra Frech.
- 14:14Speaker 1: How?
- 14:14Speaker 2: Paralympian.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Oh. That's so cool. Who's his partner again?
- 14:20Speaker 2: Daniela.
- 14:21Speaker 1: She's amazing.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I know.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Wow.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Yeah. So are y'all going to do like family viewing parties?
- 14:30Speaker 2: On Tuesday nights? Tuesdays are tough. Taco Tuesday.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh. Perfect.
- 14:34Speaker 2: How am I going to watch?
- 14:36Speaker 1: Well, you can do tacos.
- 14:37Speaker 2: And then after.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Or what? You could put it on outside or something.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Get a blow-up screen. Oh, yeah.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Because I need another task.
- 14:46Speaker 1: A blow-up screen. Okay. So you're rooting for Ezra and Daniela.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Yeah. What about you? Oh, and Maura and Mark.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. You're really torn there.
- 14:55Speaker 2: I am torn. It's a good cast.
- 14:56Speaker 1: It's a great cast. I'm really excited. There's some really good, like,
- 15:01Speaker 1: already good dancers on there. Yeah.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Like, Harry Shum Jr. is, like, a legit dancer.
- 15:06Speaker 1: So is Jenna Dewan. Yes.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Those two, it's like dancing with the pro and the pro.
- 15:10Speaker 1: I know. And I also feel like Jenna being with
- 15:14Speaker 1: Val is crazy. Val is crazy.
- 15:18Speaker 2: It's crazy, but maybe they felt bad because like last year,
- 15:21Speaker 2: a lot of people were saying he was robbed. Like
- 15:23Speaker 2: Alex Earl and him should have won. So they're like, okay,
- 15:26Speaker 2: we'll give you a really good partner so you can
- 15:27Speaker 2: win this year. They're going to win it.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I feel like Alex's follow. I mean, it's all kind
- 15:32Speaker 1: of based on the public and people's followings and their fans, right? No,
- 15:37Speaker 1: I mean, Alex had one of the biggest, has one
- 15:39Speaker 1: of the biggest fandoms out there.
- 15:40Speaker 2: She didn't win.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I know, but Robert Irwin has a bigger fan.
- 15:44Speaker 2: He does not.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. He's like global.
- 15:49Speaker 2: I don't know what that means.
- 15:50Speaker 1: He's international. Oh. He's internationally loved. Globally loved.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Is he, though?
- 15:56Speaker 1: Yes.
- 15:57Speaker 2: I had never heard of him until Dancing with the Stars.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Tanya, what?
- 16:01Speaker 2: I knew his dad.
- 16:03Speaker 1: But you didn't know Bendy or Robert?
- 16:05Speaker 2: Nope.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Wow. What's it like under that rock?
- 16:11Speaker 2: It's quite nice. You should try it over here.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I would love to.
- 16:13Speaker 2: But I know the rest of the cast.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Okay, well, okay, so you're going Maura and.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Maura and Mark or Ezra and Daniela.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Okay.
- 16:22Speaker 2: What about you?
- 16:24Speaker 1: Who else is out there?
- 16:25Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Well, I'm just thinking of the people. It's a big cast.
- 16:29Speaker 2: It's 18 people, I think.
- 16:30Speaker 1: I know. That's large.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 16:34Speaker 3: I am excited.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Jenna Johnson and Harry Shum.
- 16:37Speaker 1: I am excited to watch Val and Jenna dance. And
- 16:41Speaker 1: I also think the judges are going to be very
- 16:43Speaker 1: hard on her. So I think she might have a
- 16:45Speaker 1: slight disadvantage because I think their standards for her are
- 16:48Speaker 1: going to be very high. Don't you agree?
- 16:52Speaker 2: Sierra Miller. And I'm just going to name the celebrities
- 16:56Speaker 2: because I'm not sure of all the partner pairings.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Brandon Armstrong is with Sierra.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Sarah Jane Nader.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I'm excited to watch them too. The girl Haley and
- 17:06Speaker 1: Sarah Jane duo. I'm very excited about that.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Julia Stiles.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Very excited about Julia Stiles.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Tatiana Ali.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Very excited.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Tyler Cameron.
- 17:16Speaker 1: He'll be great.
- 17:17Speaker 2: The guy from Hanson Brothers.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Taylor.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Taylor Hanson. Is it Taylor Hanson? Yeah.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Guillermo.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Very excited to watch Whitney and Guillermo.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Uh-huh. Giada De Laurentiis.
- 17:30Speaker 1: She's a chef.
- 17:32Speaker 2: And there's some others.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Okay. There's some others, she says. Well, I think it's
- 17:40Speaker 1: going to be a great season.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Jackson Olsen from the Savannah Bananas. Oh, yes.
- 17:44Speaker 1: And his partner is Emma. And I love Emma. I
- 17:47Speaker 1: would love to watch Emma win.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Oh, and Conor Lievitt. Leave it. Oh, yeah.
- 17:51Speaker 1: That's Whitney's husband.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Well, it's stacked. I think they're stacked.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Very stacked.
- 17:58Speaker 1: And I think the standards are going to be really high.
- 18:00Speaker 1: And I kind of feel like Guillermo is really at
- 18:03Speaker 1: a disadvantage for this season.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Why?
- 18:06Speaker 1: Because I think all these people have enough rhythm to learn.
- 18:10Speaker 1: And I think normally there's more of a cast where
- 18:15Speaker 1: it's kind of split half and half where people have
- 18:18Speaker 1: good rhythm already and they just need the technical lessons.
- 18:22Speaker 1: And then I think there's half that are not as
- 18:25Speaker 1: skilled in their rhythm. And I unfortunately think most of
- 18:29Speaker 1: the cast this season is, has rhythm and they can
- 18:33Speaker 1: do TikTok dances and stuff. And I think, you know,
- 18:35Speaker 1: just doesn't have it, but if anyone can do it,
- 18:39Speaker 1: bring it out. It's Whitney Carson.
- 18:40Speaker 2: And I love that she's pregnant and dancing. Like that's
- 18:43Speaker 2: going to be so didn't think about that. you won't
- 18:50Speaker 2: even know i know but i do love that she's
- 18:53Speaker 2: gonna be working and displaying her body being pregnant like
- 18:58Speaker 2: i think that's like such a beautiful thing yeah you
- 19:00Speaker 2: know and i i don't know i just think it's
- 19:02Speaker 2: gonna be really cool is.
- 19:03Speaker 1: That we don't know if you'll make it to the
- 19:05Speaker 1: final finale but we're.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Happy to have you but we're gonna watch you dance
- 19:11Speaker 2: i love her.
- 19:12Speaker 1: So much me too um shall we get into some
- 19:14Speaker 1: dear banias uh.
- 19:15Speaker 2: I think we should take a break and then come
- 19:17Speaker 2: back okay okay We are B-A-C-K for the B-A-N-Y-A.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Whoa, oh my gosh.
- 19:43Speaker 2: That's right.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Wow, we're back.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Yep. So we have a.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Couple of dear Banias together. into, shall we?
- 19:51Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh, wait. Mark can't read. Mark's voice is still out.
- 19:55Speaker 1: So which one do you want to start?
- 19:57Speaker 2: Yeah. Which one do we want to start with? The
- 20:02Speaker 2: fun one? Oh, yeah.
- 20:07Speaker 1: The episode titles? The Snapchatting?
- 20:09Speaker 2: The episode titles?
- 20:10Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 20:11Speaker 2: It's just like not so rough. Okay. Friends episode titles
- 20:19Speaker 2: from Julie. Like you, I am a diehard Friends fan
- 20:23Speaker 2: and I am. Thanks, Julie.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Julie.
- 20:56Speaker 2: I have thought about this so many times, but I
- 21:00Speaker 2: think I thought about it around your like five or
- 21:03Speaker 2: six of the podcast. And then I was like, we're
- 21:05Speaker 2: so far gone that we can't go back for like
- 21:08Speaker 2: five years and retitle all of our episodes. But I
- 21:11Speaker 2: thought about the idea of the one with or the
- 21:13Speaker 2: one where is like so perfect for Not coming up
- 21:18Speaker 2: with anything super like, it doesn't need to be anything
- 21:21Speaker 2: super crazy. It's just like the one where Becca gets engaged.
- 21:24Speaker 2: The one where Tanya farts at the nail salon. The
- 21:27Speaker 2: one where we got nominated for a People's Choice Award.
- 21:30Speaker 2: The one where... We have nine years and I can't
- 21:35Speaker 2: think of any other stories. The one where Tanya meets
- 21:40Speaker 2: someone in Whole Foods.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 21:41Speaker 1: The one with Whole Foods guy.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 21:44Speaker 1: The one with what was the guy's name or what
- 21:47Speaker 1: was the what was the nickname of the butterfly? No. Oh,
- 21:50Speaker 1: my God. So I always forget about him.
- 21:53Speaker 2: I know.
- 21:54Speaker 1: And he he left. He did a number on.
- 21:57Speaker 2: He left a mark. He really left a mark. But
- 21:59Speaker 2: I always forget about a big mark on this.
- 22:02Speaker 1: We know where he is these days.
- 22:04Speaker 2: I think he's married with kids. I know. I know
- 22:06Speaker 2: he's married and I definitely know he has a kid.
- 22:08Speaker 2: I don't know if multiple.
- 22:10Speaker 3: I'm shook.
- 22:11Speaker 2: I'm not.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Well, he didn't seem like he was looking for that.
- 22:15Speaker 2: No, he was looking for that. He just was a
- 22:17Speaker 2: couple steps behind me.
- 22:18Speaker 3: I see.
- 22:18Speaker 2: I see.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:20Speaker 1: And then what was the name of the guy who
- 22:22Speaker 1: came out and stayed with you? Oh, my God. Dr.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Screen time.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 22:27Speaker 2: The one where I got the ick.
- 22:30Speaker 1: You getting the ick was crazy.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Crazy. I was obsessed with this guy for like three months,
- 22:36Speaker 2: FaceTiming every single day, like literally obsessed with this guy.
- 22:41Speaker 2: He comes to stay with me in my apartment for
- 22:44Speaker 2: five days. By day four, I was so icked out.
- 22:47Speaker 2: I didn't even want to get in bed the last night,
- 22:50Speaker 2: just like sleep in my own. I made Becca, remember
- 22:52Speaker 2: I made you go to dinner with me? And then, remember?
- 22:55Speaker 1: Yeah, we did a long walk because you didn't want
- 22:58Speaker 1: to go home.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Yeah. how sad is that? I know. And I didn't
- 23:02Speaker 2: like want to kick him out. All involved. Really, really sad.
- 23:06Speaker 2: And then it was like his last night and he
- 23:08Speaker 2: was out getting drinks with a friend. He was like,
- 23:10Speaker 2: do you and Becca want to meet, meet us? We're,
- 23:12Speaker 2: you know, like literally we're there like two minutes from
- 23:13Speaker 2: my apartment. I was like, no, we're on the other
- 23:17Speaker 2: side of town. Late night for me.
- 23:20Speaker 1: I literally thought you were going to say we wouldn't
- 23:22Speaker 1: met up. And I was like, I have no memory
- 23:23Speaker 1: of this.
- 23:24Speaker 2: We did not.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:25Speaker 2: I was like, no, we're on the other side of town.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Yeah. Whoa.
- 23:29Speaker 2: I don't even know. Oh, I do remember what I think. Yeah.
- 23:34Speaker 1: What ended it?
- 23:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:36Speaker 1: That probably.
- 23:37Speaker 2: No, but what I'm saying is like, it's so crazy.
- 23:40Speaker 2: You'd think physical is such like an important aspect. And
- 23:45Speaker 2: I thought because we had so much chemistry and there
- 23:47Speaker 2: was like so much attraction and so much like that,
- 23:51Speaker 2: that once I saw him, it was just going to
- 23:52Speaker 2: be like, Electric. Hearts on fire. You know what I mean?
- 23:57Speaker 2: And it just was so not the case.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Wait, but the chemistry and physical attraction was just via
- 24:01Speaker 1: screen time?
- 24:02Speaker 2: Well, yeah.
- 24:04Speaker 1: And then when you saw each other, there was just nothing?
- 24:06Speaker 2: We met once before. So I met him once at IRL.
- 24:08Speaker 2: And then it was, yeah. But like, you know when
- 24:10Speaker 2: you're flirting and like, you're like, oh, you know, like.
- 24:13Speaker 1: If I could just get my hands on you.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Yeah. No, it was crazy.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Yeah. Was it a pheromone thing?
- 24:27Speaker 2: No, I don't think so, because I don't remember the smell.
- 24:31Speaker 2: It was crazy. I've never been icked out that much, like,
- 24:34Speaker 2: that quick, too. It was quick. It was like a quick,
- 24:37Speaker 2: it was like.
- 24:38Speaker 1: It was instant. Instant. Wish him the best.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Yeah, truly.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Yeah, we had a lot of, it could have been
- 24:47Speaker 1: fun to do that name, but it also.
- 24:49Speaker 2: It was so fun.
- 24:50Speaker 1: It's already been done, so I wonder if we could
- 24:52Speaker 1: have done a twist on it.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Nah.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Too much work.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Well, you can't do a twist on that. How do
- 24:58Speaker 2: you do a twist on that? I'm just saying, like,
- 25:00Speaker 2: where it's... It's the uno wear?
- 25:03Speaker 1: No. No. Maybe, like, that time when something, you know
- 25:09Speaker 1: what I'm saying? Oh. The scrub wear.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Maybe for our 10th year. I got Haley riled up
- 25:20Speaker 1: about Mark. This is on you because you remember how
- 25:23Speaker 1: we were talking about how, when you have a birthday,
- 25:25Speaker 1: when you have a birthday, you're celebrating that number of
- 25:29Speaker 1: years that you've. Oh, you know what I'm saying? Like
- 25:32Speaker 1: I'm turning 38, but I'm, when I turned 38, I'm
- 25:35Speaker 1: it's I'm, I'm celebrating that I've had 38 years alive
- 25:38Speaker 1: and I'm starting my 39th year.
- 25:40Speaker 3: Correct.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Don't go there with me right now. Don't. Go there
- 25:49Speaker 2: with me right now.
- 25:51Speaker 1: But it's not. It doesn't change what's happening. It does.
- 25:54Speaker 3: No, it literally does.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Yes, it does. When you're looking at eggs and follicles,
- 25:59Speaker 2: there is a big difference between 39 and 40.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I know, but you're not.
- 26:04Speaker 3: That doesn't change. You're not 40. You're 39. But you
- 26:08Speaker 3: are enjoying your 40th year on this planet.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Haley got so mad and she's like, stop talking about it.
- 26:15Speaker 1: And I'm like, but it doesn't change what it is.
- 26:18Speaker 1: And she goes, but I'm not 36 yet. And I go, no,
- 26:21Speaker 1: but you're in your 36th year. Like when we get
- 26:25Speaker 1: to the next birthday, you'll be celebrating your 36th year.
- 26:28Speaker 1: But that's been your whole life.
- 26:32Speaker 2: I'm with Haley on this one. You two can.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Go celebrate elsewhere. When you're six weeks old, you're in
- 26:36Speaker 3: your first year of life. You're not one.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Maybe you were. I don't know what you were doing
- 26:43Speaker 2: in your sixth week of life.
- 26:45Speaker 1: But you were six weeks to years old.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Exactly. Exactly.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Haley said the other day she was seven months to
- 26:53Speaker 1: years old. And I go, so she was seven months?
- 26:57Speaker 1: She goes, yeah, seven months to years old. And I go,
- 26:59Speaker 1: she's not a year though. She hasn't had a year.
- 27:03Speaker 1: There's a lot of conversations about dates and times over there. Yeah.
- 27:07Speaker 2: But thanks for bringing that up. Way to kick a
- 27:11Speaker 2: girl and kick a gal when she's down.
- 27:13Speaker 1: I wasn't trying to kick a girl when she's down.
- 27:15Speaker 1: I was bringing it up about Haley. But I'm sorry
- 27:18Speaker 1: for just talking about the truth. Life. Do you want
- 27:23Speaker 1: to talk about husband Snapchatting another woman from Anonymous?
- 27:27Speaker 2: I'll read it.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Needing advice, please. I just got married three weeks ago.
- 27:32Speaker 1: We've been together over six years. Last weekend, a day
- 27:36Speaker 1: before we left for our honeymoon, I found out he's
- 27:39Speaker 1: been Snapchatting a girl he worked with in the past
- 27:41Speaker 1: and was deleting the messages. But she was his number
- 27:44Speaker 1: one best friend. Huh?
- 27:47Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 27:48Speaker 1: Like on Snapchat, his number one... Probably the person he
- 27:51Speaker 1: talks to the most. Ew. He seems remorseful and says
- 27:54Speaker 1: he'll do whatever it takes to get my trust back,
- 27:56Speaker 1: but I'm having such a hard time getting over it.
- 27:58Speaker 1: This is supposed to be the happiest time of our life,
- 28:01Speaker 1: and I feel like it's all tainted now. He says
- 28:03Speaker 1: he never physically or emotionally cheated, which I believe, but
- 28:06Speaker 1: it still feels so disrespectful and dishonest. Please give me
- 28:09Speaker 1: advice on how I can move on and get past
- 28:11Speaker 1: this three weeks into our marriage.
- 28:13Speaker 2: I personally... When you, when he, she says Snapchatting a girl,
- 28:24Speaker 2: what does that mean? Like sending her pictures or like
- 28:29Speaker 2: inappropriate pictures, sexual innuendos. No, no. You can just like text. No,
- 28:36Speaker 2: but yes, it is pictures. But like I sent Robbie
- 28:39Speaker 2: and I sent pictures back and forth with like the weird,
- 28:40Speaker 2: ugly filters and like have a filter of a man.
- 28:42Speaker 2: I'm like, do you know what I mean?
- 28:43Speaker 1: Like, why is he doing that with another woman?
- 28:47Speaker 2: Is this someone that he just met on Snapchat?
- 28:49Speaker 1: No, it's someone he used to work with in the past.
- 28:52Speaker 1: And he was deleting the messages.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Was he deleting the messages or did they just go
- 28:57Speaker 3: away on Snapchat?
- 28:58Speaker 2: They just go away. They just go away on Snapchat.
- 29:02Speaker 3: I hate Snapchat.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I fear that we're all a little too elderly
- 29:05Speaker 2: to be giving advice on.
- 29:07Speaker 3: In our 40th year.
- 29:09Speaker 2: In our 40th years giving advice on Snapchat. However, we're
- 29:13Speaker 2: going to give our advice based on our assumption of
- 29:16Speaker 2: Snapchat heretofore.
- 29:19Speaker 1: I think that if he... She didn't say how she
- 29:24Speaker 1: found out. She just said, I found out. But she
- 29:27Speaker 1: didn't say, like, did she go through his phone and
- 29:28Speaker 1: see it? Did he tell her?
- 29:30Speaker 2: Yes, there's a difference.
- 29:31Speaker 1: There is a difference. Because if you found it without
- 29:34Speaker 1: him telling you or showing you, then I definitely... feel
- 29:40Speaker 1: like you should be having deeper conversations about his character
- 29:44Speaker 1: and what else he's not honest about.
- 29:47Speaker 2: And were these just Snapchats or did it cross over
- 29:50Speaker 2: into a physical? I'm assuming it didn't cross over into
- 29:54Speaker 2: a physical affair. This was just like a Snapchat affair.
- 29:59Speaker 2: So here's the thing. You need to decide if this,
- 30:03Speaker 2: because you're married now, that's a different level of commitment.
- 30:05Speaker 2: You need to decide if this is something that you
- 30:08Speaker 2: are willing to move on from.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Okay?
- 30:12Speaker 2: If this is something that you are able to move
- 30:15Speaker 2: on from, meaning like stay in this relationship.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Thank you for clarifying what that means.
- 30:22Speaker 2: This isn't something that you can hold over his head
- 30:25Speaker 2: and like you have to just get back into the relationship.
- 30:28Speaker 2: And like, because I do think if you keep bringing
- 30:31Speaker 2: this back in and you keep saying blah, blah, blah,
- 30:34Speaker 2: it's going to wear and tear on your relationship. And
- 30:37Speaker 2: over the next however long, it's going to end up
- 30:40Speaker 2: breaking you guys up. You have to make a clear decision.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Are you going to forgive him or are you not?
- 30:44Speaker 1: Well, I think she needs to get all the information.
- 30:46Speaker 1: I think she needs to say what kind of photos
- 30:48Speaker 1: were you sent? What kind of all these messages that
- 30:50Speaker 1: are deleted? If she's your top friend, what were you
- 30:52Speaker 1: sending to each other? And if he can't be honest
- 30:55Speaker 1: about that, then I think you do need to decide
- 30:58Speaker 1: if this is the person you want to spend your
- 30:59Speaker 1: life with, because that sounds like a horrible existence, being
- 31:03Speaker 1: with someone that you have to wonder if they're lying
- 31:07Speaker 1: to you about things.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Yes, and I do think it makes a difference if...
- 31:12Speaker 2: He came to you and said, but it doesn't sound
- 31:14Speaker 2: like that's what happened.
- 31:15Speaker 1: And let me tell you something. Best friend on Snapchat,
- 31:18Speaker 1: not that I know much about Snapchat anymore, but they
- 31:21Speaker 1: haven't just been talking for three weeks. This has been
- 31:23Speaker 1: going on before he married you. So I think you
- 31:27Speaker 1: need to have him tell you the truth. Maybe go
- 31:30Speaker 1: to couples therapy and have a third party who can
- 31:34Speaker 1: navigate this with you because... Three weeks is new and
- 31:38Speaker 1: it's fresh and this should be the happiest time of
- 31:40Speaker 1: your life. But it's also you have the rest of
- 31:43Speaker 1: your life. And this might not be the person you
- 31:46Speaker 1: need to be spending it with.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Yeah. And think about it. If you're going to be
- 31:49Speaker 2: questioning everything that he's doing, if you're going to be
- 31:51Speaker 2: worrying about it, like that's not the life you want
- 31:54Speaker 2: to live.
- 31:54Speaker 1: But if that's what you choose.
- 31:58Speaker 2: If that's what you choose, you have to get past it,
- 32:00Speaker 2: and you can't just keep this in the back of
- 32:02Speaker 2: your head because it will eat at you.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to be miserable for both of you. Yeah.
- 32:07Speaker 1: So I think you just need to get the truth
- 32:10Speaker 1: and then move from there. Yeah. I'm really sorry.
- 32:13Speaker 2: I'm really sorry.
- 32:14Speaker 1: That's social media. I love social media, but also it's just.
- 32:18Speaker 2: No, it's not social media. It's her dude. Okay, let's
- 32:21Speaker 2: not blame social media for her husband.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I'm just saying. The access people have on social media
- 32:27Speaker 1: gives people a chance to be the sneakiest little liars.
- 32:30Speaker 2: I don't blame social media. I blame the man.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I don't blame social media.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Blame the man. Not the AI.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Not all men, but always a man. Always. Respectfully, Mark. Yeah,
- 32:42Speaker 1: not you, Mark, because you're quiet. You can't even speak
- 32:44Speaker 1: right now. Just how we like.
- 32:50Speaker 2: It.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Okay, we're going to play the game because Tanya is
- 32:52Speaker 1: on a high from winning against Robbie last week.
- 32:54Speaker 2: I don't really want to play the game because I'm
- 32:56Speaker 2: on such a high from winning. I didn't just win.
- 32:59Speaker 2: I demolished last week.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Did Robbie think it was going to be easy? Did
- 33:03Speaker 1: he think he was going to win?
- 33:05Speaker 2: Yes. And he actually felt for me. He's like, it's
- 33:08Speaker 2: very frustrating when you really have no idea. And I
- 33:11Speaker 2: was like, this is how I feel every single week.
- 33:15Speaker 2: And then he thought I cheated. Or that we were
- 33:18Speaker 2: like in cahoots.
- 33:19Speaker 3: That's sad. That was not the case.
- 33:21Speaker 2: He thought that for like a second.
- 33:22Speaker 3: I just tried to find two people that I knew
- 33:24Speaker 3: Robbie would know for sure. That was really my only
- 33:26Speaker 3: motivation for those games.
- 33:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it's hard to do.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Okay, so we're going to take a break and we'll
- 33:32Speaker 1: be right back to start that game.
- 33:55Speaker 3: We're back.
- 33:58Speaker 1: All right, it's time.
- 33:58Speaker 2: I'll let you go first since I won.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Oh, I was going to let you go first.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Okay, fine.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Are we doing... It's just like you ask all your
- 34:05Speaker 1: questions and I ask all mine?
- 34:06Speaker 2: No, I think we just ping pong.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Okay.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Am I a woman?
- 34:10Speaker 1: Yes.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Woman. Am I a man? Nope. Am I a singer?
- 34:18Speaker 1: Yes. Am I an actress?
- 34:21Speaker 2: Yes.
- 34:23Speaker 3: Am I.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Over 40.
- 34:25Speaker 1: No.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Below 40.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Am I over 50?
- 34:33Speaker 2: Yes. Am I a current pop star?
- 34:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Am I currently in a movie out right now?
- 34:45Speaker 2: No. So I'm a current pop star below 40. Am
- 34:51Speaker 2: I married?
- 34:52Speaker 1: Yes. Is that right? Yes?
- 34:57Speaker 3: Double checking. Okay.
- 34:59Speaker 2: So not very known married.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Am I?
- 35:03Speaker 2: Wait, hello? Mark's still checking.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Oh. No.
- 35:07Speaker 2: I'm not married.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Am I a TV actress?
- 35:10Speaker 2: I am not married. Am I a TV actress?
- 35:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 35:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Yeah. So I'm not married, but you thought I was married.
- 35:23Speaker 2: That's interesting. Why did you think I was married? Am
- 35:31Speaker 2: I over... Am I below 30?
- 35:34Speaker 1: No.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Okay.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Have I won an Oscar? No.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Okay, so this is where it gets tough because I'm
- 35:46Speaker 2: a woman singer between 30 and 40. Not married, but
- 35:50Speaker 2: Becca thought I was married. And I'm a current pop star.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Becca thought I was married. I'm not. Are we currently
- 36:03Speaker 2: playing Me on Kiss FM in Los Angeles?
- 36:07Speaker 1: Yes. Am I white?
- 36:12Speaker 2: You are. Am I white? No. Not white.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Am I married to a celebrity? Yes.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Yes, you are indeed. Do I sing a song named
- 36:25Speaker 2: called Folded?
- 36:28Speaker 1: No. Have I been in the industry my whole life?
- 36:34Speaker 2: Yes.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Yes. Okay.
- 36:39Speaker 2: So currently playing me on Kiss FM in Los Angeles.
- 36:45Speaker 2: Am I of Asian descent? No.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Oh. Am I a comedy actress? Yeah, yeah. Do you
- 37:01Speaker 1: know this person?
- 37:02Speaker 2: Yes, very well. I've met this person. Oh, that's right.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Is this person like, would my dad know this person?
- 37:13Speaker 1: I would think so. Really? I don't know Bronco's knowledge
- 37:16Speaker 1: of pop culture, but I think so.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Is this person like famous enough to where my dad
- 37:20Speaker 2: would know?
- 37:20Speaker 1: I think so. Yes? Yeah, I would think so.
- 37:23Speaker 2: I just wrote my dad knows me.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Do I have kids?
- 37:32Speaker 2: Yes, you sure do. I've met them as well.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Right?
- 37:42Speaker 3: Yes.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Yes. Okay.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Does my name have three letters?
- 37:55Speaker 1: No. I mean, I guess. Yeah, it has three, but
- 37:58Speaker 1: it has more than three.
- 37:59Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. Just three letters. Oh, no, no, no.
- 38:02Speaker 2: So I'm not SZA.
- 38:03Speaker 1: They're very funny. Are my kids in the industry? No.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Is my last name a one letter? No.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Was I on a hit TV show?
- 38:25Speaker 2: Yes.
- 38:27Speaker 3: Major.
- 38:29Speaker 2: Is my name have four letters? No.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Am I on a drama hit show?
- 38:38Speaker 2: Define drama. Mark, look it up.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Well, are you saying currently?
- 38:43Speaker 1: Yeah. No.
- 38:45Speaker 2: No.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Oh.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Very frustrating.
- 38:49Speaker 1: I'm in the same boat.
- 38:50Speaker 3: I'm... My brain.
- 38:51Speaker 2: Yours is very easy.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I got one brain cell firing off right now.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Yours is very easy. Really? Yeah. Easier than, I'm sure, mine.
- 39:01Speaker 3: I disagree, but I'm neutral.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Okay, so I'm a singer. I'm a woman singer, but...
- 39:12Speaker 2: Between 30 and 40, current pop star. I'm not married.
- 39:15Speaker 2: I'm not white. I'm not Kehlani. I'm not Asian. My
- 39:19Speaker 2: dad knows me. I'm not SZA. I'm not Carol G.
- 39:21Speaker 2: And I'm not Tyler.
- 39:22Speaker 1: My dad knows me. So funny.
- 39:26Speaker 2: That's where I'm at right now. Can I get a hint?
- 39:30Speaker 3: You can have any hint you want. You just have
- 39:31Speaker 3: to ask the right questions. You have a million questions
- 39:34Speaker 3: to ask.
- 39:37Speaker 2: Do I have more than one hit? Yes.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Okay, I'm a white woman actress. I'm over 50. I'm
- 39:46Speaker 1: not currently on TV, but I've been on a hit
- 39:49Speaker 1: TV show. I haven't won an Oscar. I'm married to
- 39:52Speaker 1: a celebrity. I'm a comedy actress, kind of. And I
- 39:57Speaker 1: have kids, but they're not in the industry. Am I blonde?
- 40:04Speaker 2: Oh, yeah?
- 40:05Speaker 3: I think so.
- 40:06Speaker 2: I wouldn't say so, but....
- 40:08Speaker 1: That's confusing. Okay.
- 40:14Speaker 3: She is not naturally blonde, but she has certainly been
- 40:17Speaker 3: blonde on screen.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Sure.
- 40:23Speaker 1: Blonde, but not natural.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Somebody help me!
- 40:35Speaker 1: Okay.
- 40:37Speaker 2: Mark.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Yes, Tanya.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Mark, it's me. What do you want to know?
- 40:42Speaker 2: Do we play this in the morning show? Do we
- 40:44Speaker 2: play me in the morning show?
- 40:45Speaker 1: He said yes.
- 40:46Speaker 2: Oh, no. Morning is different than nighttime.
- 40:48Speaker 3: Okay, fine.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Yes. Yes, we play me on the morning show.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Okay. So I'm not a natural blonde, but I have
- 40:56Speaker 1: been blonde. And I'm married to a celebrity. And I've
- 41:04Speaker 1: been on a hit TV show. Am I younger than 70? Yes.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Have I opened up for Sabrina Carpenter on tour before?
- 41:14Speaker 1: No.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh. Not Raven Linnaeus.
- 41:17Speaker 1: Younger than 70, older than 50. I have kids. I'm married.
- 41:21Speaker 1: I'm blonde. Was my hit TV show in the early 2000s?
- 41:29Speaker 2: Yes. Oh, my gosh. Does my name have a double,
- 41:35Speaker 2: the same letter in the first name and the last name? Oh,
- 41:40Speaker 2: my gosh.
- 41:44Speaker 1: Was I in 90210?
- 41:46Speaker 2: No. I need a hint.
- 41:50Speaker 1: The hint is the game.
- 41:52Speaker 2: What else is there to ask? Have I been to
- 41:57Speaker 2: my own concert before? Have I been to her concert?
- 42:03Speaker 1: I don't know. I would think so, but don't be
- 42:08Speaker 1: looking over there.
- 42:09Speaker 2: No, stop looking over there.
- 42:11Speaker 3: We don't know your life.
- 42:12Speaker 2: You don't know my life.
- 42:13Speaker 3: I don't know if you've seen this person in concert.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Oh, you don't know if I've seen me. That gives
- 42:18Speaker 2: me nothing. Thanks for that answer.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Oh, my God. I literally cannot think of.
- 42:24Speaker 3: Oh, here we go.
- 42:26Speaker 1: Oh, no, she's not older than 50. I can't even
- 42:33Speaker 1: think of. I can't think of.
- 42:35Speaker 2: Yours is so easy.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Yours is so easy, too. Yours is so easy. Oh, really?
- 42:41Speaker 2: I think I might know who I am. I think
- 42:45Speaker 2: I might know who I am.
- 42:48Speaker 1: As iconic as it gets, is that true? Yeah.
- 42:50Speaker 3: I mean, I think I agree with that.
- 42:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:53Speaker 1: Oh my God.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:55Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 42:56Speaker 1: And you've met, I'm really, I think you meeting the
- 42:59Speaker 1: person has really thrown me off.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Why?
- 43:01Speaker 1: I don't know because.
- 43:02Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure I've talked about it on the podcast.
- 43:04Speaker 1: I know. That's what I'm thinking about.
- 43:06Speaker 2: My experience with this icon. Yeah. You have a question
- 43:13Speaker 2: or can I go?
- 43:13Speaker 1: Am I known for being friendly?
- 43:16Speaker 2: Yes. Did I just celebrate a birthday?
- 43:21Speaker 3: Well, let's have a look.
- 43:23Speaker 1: No. No.
- 43:27Speaker 3: I mean, in the past year.
- 43:28Speaker 2: No, like in the last two weeks.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Did I have a love interest that was iconic on
- 43:35Speaker 1: this show? Yes.
- 43:40Speaker 3: Feels like you're getting warmer.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Am I from Barbados?
- 43:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:46Speaker 3: All right, this is it.
- 43:46Speaker 1: I just have to go for it.
- 43:47Speaker 3: You gotta go for it now.
- 43:48Speaker 1: I'm over 50.
- 43:50Speaker 2: This took me a whole page.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Me too. I'm over 50.
- 43:54Speaker 2: If this is who I think it is, you've led
- 43:57Speaker 2: me down a dark path.
- 44:02Speaker 1: Okay.
- 44:04Speaker 3: If I.
- 44:10Speaker 1: Who is married? Not a natural blonde, but has been blonde.
- 44:15Speaker 1: As iconic as it gets on TV.
- 44:17Speaker 2: As iconic. Think about the most iconic show. Like iconic
- 44:22Speaker 2: show and the most iconic character from that show.
- 44:29Speaker 1: What I consider to be the most iconic show?
- 44:31Speaker 2: And like worldly people is like the most iconic show.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Am I going to agree with that?
- 44:37Speaker 2: Yes.
- 44:38Speaker 3: You will.
- 44:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:39Speaker 1: The most iconic show.
- 44:41Speaker 2: Yes. Is what?
- 44:44Speaker 1: Well, I think for me, it's Friends. Okay.
- 44:47Speaker 2: What's next after that?
- 44:49Speaker 1: Grey's Anatomy.
- 44:50Speaker 2: And after that?
- 44:54Speaker 3: What would Easton say if he were here?
- 44:56Speaker 1: Seinfeld?
- 44:57Speaker 2: Oh, my God. Just zip it now. We've given her
- 45:00Speaker 2: too much. No, no. We've given her way too much.
- 45:04Speaker 1: Okay. You do yours.
- 45:07Speaker 2: Am I Rihanna?
- 45:08Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Why did we leave you down the path?
- 45:11Speaker 2: She's not a current pop star.
- 45:13Speaker 3: Look, I mean.
- 45:14Speaker 2: She is not.
- 45:15Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 45:15Speaker 2: Because my brain went to Kehlani. It went to SZA, Tyler,
- 45:19Speaker 2: King Panther.
- 45:20Speaker 3: But if you ask the average human, they're going to
- 45:21Speaker 3: say it's a current pop star.
- 45:23Speaker 2: She is a current billionaire.
- 45:25Speaker 3: She's not Backstreet Boys. She's Rihanna. She's iconic. She's currently iconic. Look, sorry.
- 45:32Speaker 3: If we led you down a primrose path, we apologize.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Yes, primrose is the path you led me down. Exactly, primrose.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Thank you. Michaela agrees.
- 45:41Speaker 3: Who am I?
- 45:41Speaker 2: My mind went to like.
- 45:43Speaker 3: We still play her in the morning on Kiss.
- 45:45Speaker 2: Oh my God.
- 45:46Speaker 3: We played her this morning.
- 45:46Speaker 1: I didn't know y'all played her this morning. I didn't
- 45:48Speaker 1: know y'all were playing her.
- 45:49Speaker 2: So I went through all, like everything we play in
- 45:51Speaker 2: the morning and that's when I was like, there's just,
- 45:53Speaker 2: it's just not, it's just not... So then I went
- 45:57Speaker 2: not current. And then I went back in the room.
- 45:59Speaker 3: Don't stop the music at 620 this morning.
- 46:02Speaker 2: So then I thought it was Beyonce.
- 46:03Speaker 3: We played only girl in the world at 755. So
- 46:05Speaker 3: then I.
- 46:06Speaker 2: Went back to like old school music. And then I
- 46:08Speaker 2: thought I was Beyonce. And then when you said I
- 46:11Speaker 2: didn't have a birthday recently, I went to Rihanna.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Okay.
- 46:14Speaker 2: That's what I just need you to get. I'm not
- 46:16Speaker 2: telling you that.
- 46:18Speaker 1: You're not telling me the TV show?
- 46:19Speaker 2: No, you have to guess it. What's the most iconic
- 46:22Speaker 2: show outside of Friends and Grey's Anatomy? Iconic in the 2000s.
- 46:28Speaker 2: We loved them. We were them.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Sex and the City.
- 46:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:32Speaker 1: Sarah Jessica Parker.
- 46:33Speaker 3: That's it.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Damn. That was crazy.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Crazy.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Crazy. Crazy.
- 46:42Speaker 1: But I guess I never watched that show live. I
- 46:46Speaker 1: watched it after it was off the air. So I
- 46:47Speaker 1: think my brain was like thinking shows I used to
- 46:50Speaker 1: watch on like network TV.
- 46:52Speaker 2: But that was painful.
- 46:55Speaker 1: I met her. I forgot. Yeah, you were like her handler.
- 46:58Speaker 2: I was her handler and she was so sweet. And
- 47:00Speaker 2: at the end of the night, she asked if I
- 47:01Speaker 2: wanted to take a picture with her. And I said no,
- 47:03Speaker 2: because I was trying to be professional. I regret it
- 47:07Speaker 2: every single day.
- 47:09Speaker 1: I still think that.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Well, it was not the right call. She offered. It's
- 47:13Speaker 2: not like I said, Hey, before you leave, can we
- 47:14Speaker 2: take a selfie? She literally offered. And I said, no,
- 47:18Speaker 2: thank you so much. Like just this memory is like
- 47:21Speaker 2: enough in my.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Heart, which is probably so nice. But also if I
- 47:24Speaker 1: offered someone a photo and they're like, no, I.
- 47:26Speaker 2: Feel like, no, I didn't say no. Like I was
- 47:29Speaker 2: just like, no, thank you so much. Like, I love you.
- 47:31Speaker 2: This was such a good treat. I'll remember it for like,
- 47:33Speaker 2: I didn't say just like, no, I was like very
- 47:35Speaker 2: like fangirling. She knew I loved her. So it wasn't
- 47:37Speaker 2: like I was, like a dick about it.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:41Speaker 2: But I regret it every day. I don't have many
- 47:44Speaker 2: regrets in life, but that's one of them.
- 47:46Speaker 1: SJP, next time she'll take the selfie.
- 47:48Speaker 2: And I think her kid was at Jingle Ball with her,
- 47:50Speaker 2: and he was a big fan of Sam Smith, and
- 47:52Speaker 2: I think I made that meeting happen.
- 47:54Speaker 1: Nice.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Yeah. Well.
- 47:57Speaker 2: Her son, who's probably like, what, like 15 now? I
- 47:59Speaker 2: don't even want to know.
- 48:01Speaker 1: Oh, probably older.
- 48:01Speaker 2: He was little.
- 48:03Speaker 1: Oh.
- 48:03Speaker 2: At the time.
- 48:04Speaker 1: Crazy. Yeah, those are very good equally... He's 24.
- 48:08Speaker 3: I was going to.
- 48:14Speaker 1: Say, that's crazy. He's 24.
- 48:19Speaker 2: How old was he when I met him?
- 48:22Speaker 1: Well, that was like 10 years ago.
- 48:23Speaker 2: No, way more than 10. It was like close to
- 48:26Speaker 2: 16 years ago.
- 48:27Speaker 3: He was born in 02.
- 48:29Speaker 2: Which does nothing for me.
- 48:30Speaker 3: Well, but when you started, you started here in like 10, 11.
- 48:32Speaker 3: So it would have been around there, right?
- 48:33Speaker 2: Yeah, he's probably like nine. Nine, yeah. That's tracked.
- 48:36Speaker 3: That's like.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Yeah height wise that makes sense 24 um congrats two
- 48:42Speaker 1: weeks in a row.
- 48:43Speaker 2: Two weeks in a row we should just call this
- 48:47Speaker 2: game tanya's game.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Yeah we should call it next time we're gonna play
- 48:53Speaker 1: we're gonna say it's not who's guess the slot what
- 48:56Speaker 1: what was it who am i.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Who am i it's tanya's game tanya we're gonna play
- 48:59Speaker 2: tanya's game yeah sounds good it has a nice ring to.
- 49:02Speaker 1: It We will be back on Monday.
- 49:05Speaker 2: Yes, we will.
