- 0:47Speaker 3: I got fired off a one voiceover thing I did
- 0:50Speaker 3: really like. Actually the movie tanked though, so and it
- 0:55Speaker 3: wasn't a Disney movie. They must never fire me.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Well, like we were saying D twenty three, we were

- 1:08Speaker 2: How's your memory? Oh it looks pretty good. We did
- 1:11Speaker 2: pretty good.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Joke I wanted to share with you. They were gonna
- 1:14Speaker 3: cast us in Star Wars, but every time they gave
- 1:16Speaker 3: us a lightsaber, we made Mickey Mouse ears.
- 1:22Speaker 2: We are so excited because we're gonna be interviewing some
- 1:24Speaker 2: of our favorites and Disney legends.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Yes, we're backstage at our dressing room. We're hanging out
- 1:29Speaker 4: and we have an open door policy over here, so
- 1:31Speaker 4: we'll see who stops by exactly.

- 1:36Speaker 2: I hope you're not allergic.
- 1:38Speaker 3: We've got bits and guess what we've got legendary status.

- 2:41Speaker 2: Chimp Brox.
- 2:42Speaker 6: Three is Edie Faye. She's the sister of Jeff Cohen,
- 2:47Speaker 6: who is a k A chunk from the Goonies. What
- 2:52Speaker 6: Wow wrote Kemp Brox three. Yeah, and and and and
- 2:56Speaker 6: that's I feel like.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Six degrees of separation exactly.
- 2:59Speaker 4: I feel, can we need to get a chunk as
- 3:01Speaker 4: a counselor and the next camp rockets.
- 3:04Speaker 6: So I'm campaigning to be the fifth Jonas product.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Well can do that. There's no campaigning.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Your off is fire, so you can join.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Both of you have great affits on perfect. We're so

- 3:17Speaker 2: your amazing movie. We're big fans We've got I'm so
- 3:19Speaker 2: glad to.
- 3:20Speaker 3: See Disney gave you a shot from the film after
- 3:22Speaker 3: the second Ones under performed, so it's the highest grossing
- 3:29Speaker 3: animated film of all time. Congratulations. I watched it recently
- 3:34Speaker 3: with our four and a half year old. We absolutely
- 3:37Speaker 3: loved it, and I'm so thrilled.
- 3:39Speaker 2: We don't share a four and a half year old.
- 3:40Speaker 2: He means him and his wife.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Okay, tell us what we can expect from it from
- 3:45Speaker 3: the third movie?
- 3:46Speaker 1: Here? Wow?
- 3:47Speaker 2: Anything yet? Any secret secnture? We know?
- 3:49Speaker 7: I mean we're coming back, Yeah, thank god, you're coming back.
- 3:54Speaker 6: I was so nervous, like you know, I mean, of
- 3:56Speaker 6: course Nick and Judy are going to be back, you
- 3:58Speaker 6: know the they are the movie, right, But when I
- 4:03Speaker 6: heard from Jared Bush. I saw him last night. He
- 4:07Speaker 6: already has a story in mind, he's actively developing it.
- 4:10Speaker 6: And uh and to hear him say that, yeah, Gary
- 4:13Speaker 6: is back, and not only that, but all your favorite
- 4:15Speaker 6: characters from the first and the second one I'm back,
- 4:18Speaker 6: along with some flying ones, which is amazing cool.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Huge fans in our household. We have a lot of
- 4:25Speaker 4: bunnies around our house because of that. So literally have
- 4:28Speaker 4: a tattoo of a bunny on my arm because of Yeah,
- 4:30Speaker 4: my daughter is very obsessed. Oh yeah, exactly the same character.
- 4:33Speaker 4: But yeah, let's find it.
- 4:37Speaker 2: That's so cool.
- 4:38Speaker 6: That's duty to me.
- 4:40Speaker 2: By the way, I don't even have one, and I
- 4:42Speaker 2: do need one.
- 4:43Speaker 4: You should get one, okay, Well, yeah, we should have
- 4:51Speaker 4: a roaming tattoo artist.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Actually that would be I bet there's one floating around somewhere.
- 4:55Speaker 7: As our kids would say, that would be fire.
- 4:58Speaker 6: Tattoos on you. Do you have any tattoos? Statue?
- 5:03Speaker 4: He just has a double black belt.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Second degree black belt. Mean exactly what are the degrees here?
- 5:12Speaker 6: It's just it's just what it means.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Is uh.
- 5:15Speaker 6: Time is one and yes, yeah, it's kind of like
- 5:20Speaker 6: you know, Exutopia two is better than X Utopia one. No,
- 5:29Speaker 6: I mean honestly, but that that that was pretty amazing
- 5:32Speaker 6: when they asked me to join the family. I was
- 5:34Speaker 6: a big fan of the first one. Uh, so you
- 5:36Speaker 6: can imagine what it was like to get that phone call.
- 5:39Speaker 8: Uh.
- 5:40Speaker 6: But you know, when we set out to make, you know,
- 5:42Speaker 6: this movie, all we wanted to do was to make
- 5:45Speaker 6: a movie that would live up to the original. We
- 5:48Speaker 6: you know, it was beyond anything we can imagine when
- 5:51Speaker 6: it became the biggest animated film of all time. Uh.
- 5:56Speaker 6: But but you know, it's just uh, it's just goes
- 5:59Speaker 6: to show you that. Uh, you know, that was nine
- 6:01Speaker 6: years later. So if you spend enough time and really
- 6:04Speaker 6: work on it and right, so, yeah, it's amazing. It's
- 6:07Speaker 6: really the credit to Jared bush And and Baron Howard
- 6:10Speaker 6: and Yvette Marino and of course Jenny and Indacent Bateman.
- 6:14Speaker 6: Stop it stopped.
- 6:18Speaker 5: Now.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Obviously we're all big Disney fans here, right, and the
- 6:21Speaker 3: fact that we get to work with Disney.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Is just crazy dream come true.
- 6:24Speaker 3: That's pretty fun. What was your first experience with the
- 6:28Speaker 3: Disney Company, either as a professional or just in your life,
- 6:32Speaker 3: And as you look at this now and you're on stage,
- 6:34Speaker 3: you're hosting and announcing your movie.
- 6:36Speaker 2: It's got to feel pretty full circle.
- 6:38Speaker 6: Now, Yeah, like.
- 6:38Speaker 7: I'm a Disney dork, I'm an uber fanch.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Is it right that you found out you got the
- 6:43Speaker 2: party's duty and your Disney PJ.
- 6:46Speaker 4: That's amazing manifestation right there?
- 6:48Speaker 7: No kidding. Well, I actually feel like I work for
- 6:51Speaker 7: them because I wore them down because I would go in.
- 6:53Speaker 7: When I started working professionally, I went to my wraps
- 6:55Speaker 7: and I said, I have dreamed of being a Disney
- 6:59Speaker 7: animated character, So can you just set me up on
- 7:02Speaker 7: a general or however many generals it takes for me
- 7:05Speaker 7: to like get into an audition, and I really think
- 7:09Speaker 7: that I exhausted them with my ask kids. Yeah, once
- 7:14Speaker 7: upon a time, Well, once upon a time came to
- 7:16Speaker 7: me at the same time that I feel like Once
- 7:20Speaker 7: upon a time coincided with my also being invited to
- 7:24Speaker 7: be part of a tinker Bell like what at the
- 7:26Speaker 7: time was called straight to video, and I was like, fuck,
- 7:29Speaker 7: can I curse on here?
- 7:34Speaker 2: Right?
- 7:35Speaker 7: I was like, I mean, obviously this is that this
- 7:38Speaker 7: is how the dream is manifesting. And I didn't realize
- 7:40Speaker 7: at the time that was probably my audition for Zutopia.
- 7:43Speaker 4: It's amazing.
- 7:44Speaker 7: So I was then on the set of Once Upon
- 7:46Speaker 7: a Time and I was, Yes, I was sitting in
- 7:48Speaker 7: my Disney pjs, my Mickey Mouse pjs, and I was pregnant,
- 7:51Speaker 7: and my husband, who played Prince Charming on Once Upon
- 7:54Speaker 7: a Time, was making me breakfast. He's very good at breakfast,
- 7:57Speaker 7: and it's always like resort style, like I you feel
- 7:59Speaker 7: like you're at a hotel.
- 7:59Speaker 2: He does so every day. Yes, Prince tryme for real.
- 8:02Speaker 7: But I had a message from my reps that they
- 8:05Speaker 7: all needed to talk to me at once, including my
- 8:09Speaker 7: voice of agent. So what I thought was, I'm getting
- 8:11Speaker 7: fired from tinker Bell.
- 8:12Speaker 2: It's really good news, really bad news. It's the entire
- 8:16Speaker 2: team's coming in nothing. Yeah, like they're embracing me for something.
- 8:19Speaker 2: They're bracing me for.
- 8:21Speaker 7: I'm fired. And I was so sad, and I looked
- 8:24Speaker 7: at my husband over the whatever but I don't know
- 8:26Speaker 7: for Todd or whatever, and I said, this is it,
- 8:29Speaker 7: Like I'm out, and he said, or they're calling to
- 8:32Speaker 7: offer you. They're finally going to do it like you.
- 8:35Speaker 2: They're tired of You're good.
- 8:42Speaker 7: And I called them back and the first thing and
- 8:44Speaker 7: they said, Disney animation called and I was like, what
- 8:47Speaker 7: the Yeah.
- 8:48Speaker 3: That's incredible. It's very important to have an or person
- 8:51Speaker 3: when you think about the negative thing the person say
- 8:54Speaker 3: or this comp yeah, amazing, Yeah, I love that. I
- 8:57Speaker 3: had that moment this morning with my wife over breakfast. Yes,
- 9:00Speaker 3: and I was like, there could be a really spacious
- 9:03Speaker 3: environment to do the podcast in, or it could be really.
- 9:10Speaker 7: This is lovely. I feel like a lot has been
- 9:13Speaker 7: done to make this a lot of incredible team.
- 9:18Speaker 8: Happen.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Nick was originally on the couch with you. We decided
- 9:20Speaker 2: to be.
- 9:25Speaker 6: This is amazing.
- 9:26Speaker 3: This is a little bit so you mentioned before we
- 9:29Speaker 3: have the Goonies connection in the Camp Rock three universe.
- 9:32Speaker 3: I'm a massive Goodies fan, and as we found out
- 9:35Speaker 3: before that You're ready memoir? Is this about your experience
- 9:39Speaker 3: with the Goodies?
- 9:40Speaker 6: That's that's that's part of it. That's that's a couple
- 9:43Speaker 6: of chapters.
- 9:43Speaker 8: Uh.
- 9:44Speaker 6: Yes, I have a memoir called Never Say Die that
- 9:48Speaker 6: they Never Say Die, and I mean, it's one of
- 9:51Speaker 6: the most difficult things I've ever had to do. The
- 9:56Speaker 6: book is about my journey, but more than anything, it's
- 10:00Speaker 6: about hope and perseverance and second chances and in it
- 10:04Speaker 6: I talked about, you know, how my family decided to
- 10:07Speaker 6: flee Vietnam post Vietnam War, and how I spent a
- 10:11Speaker 6: year in a refugee camp and coming immigrating to America
- 10:14Speaker 6: and trying and busy assimilating into this new life. Then
- 10:17Speaker 6: all of a sudden, I just got swept into this
- 10:20Speaker 6: incredible world of movie magic. My first movie ever was
- 10:27Speaker 6: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. In fact, I
- 10:30Speaker 6: didn't have like a normal upbringing, like a lot of
- 10:33Speaker 6: kits in America. I didn't watch anything from Hollywood. The
- 10:38Speaker 6: first time I went to a movie theater to watch
- 10:40Speaker 6: a movie, Uh.
- 10:43Speaker 2: I was in It was Indiana Jones.
- 10:44Speaker 6: It was in the area, It was at the premiere.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Was it accident the audition as well? Huh? Was it
- 10:49Speaker 2: by accident? Your brother was auditioning?
- 10:51Speaker 6: Yeah, we were just you know, having a normal life, uh,
- 10:55Speaker 6: me learning English and and and and and and going
- 11:00Speaker 6: to school.
- 11:01Speaker 5: Uh.
- 11:01Speaker 6: And they were looking for kid, uh to to be
- 11:05Speaker 6: in this little movie. And my brother wanted to. He
- 11:09Speaker 6: thought it was fun and he thought he'd be great
- 11:11Speaker 6: at it, and I just tagged along. I walked into
- 11:14Speaker 6: a hallway filled with Asian kids, and that was part
- 11:18Speaker 6: of the story that I share in the memoir. And
- 11:20Speaker 6: of course my second movie ever was The Goonies. Wow, incredible,
- 11:25Speaker 6: So two incredible adventures.
- 11:27Speaker 2: It's incredible. Well, we can't wait to read it. Thank you,
- 11:29Speaker 2: and it feels so good when you beat out your
- 11:31Speaker 2: brother for something we have?
- 11:33Speaker 9: We have?
- 11:35Speaker 6: Are you guys competitive?
- 11:37Speaker 2: It's funny you bring that up.
- 11:40Speaker 3: I was thinking about that. We have a similar story.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Yeah, we do, We really do. Nick went to when
- 11:46Speaker 2: we started acting, when we were really young. We went
- 11:48Speaker 2: to one of these talent agencies where essentially they just
- 11:50Speaker 2: signed up all the kids hoping that one will get
- 11:52Speaker 2: a job and they kind of make their balance for
- 11:54Speaker 2: their month, and so we all got signed to this
- 11:56Speaker 2: talent agency. Nick went to audition for the part is
- 11:59Speaker 2: Oliver on an off Broady production in like New Jersey area,
- 12:03Speaker 2: and I tagged along and always would say like, I'm
- 12:05Speaker 2: never gonna do a musical. But I was in the
- 12:07Speaker 2: I was in the hallway playing like a video game.
- 12:09Speaker 2: The doors open and I just see that the table
- 12:12Speaker 2: of producers and the writer and the director and Nick
- 12:14Speaker 2: standing there. He's like, come here, they want to meet you,
- 12:16Speaker 2: and I'm like no, So.
- 12:18Speaker 6: Then he got the rolls together, and how did you
- 12:22Speaker 6: feel like I was.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Actually doing the Beast? Yeah, I got the show. I
- 12:34Speaker 2: don't know, probably in high school somewhere. Yeah, at that point. No,
- 12:37Speaker 2: we it was great.
- 12:37Speaker 4: We had an early childhood stuff too together. But man, yeah,
- 12:40Speaker 4: competition is real with between the three of us.
- 12:42Speaker 6: And do you and do you have to apologize when
- 12:44Speaker 6: you end up getting the role that your brother didn't.
- 12:46Speaker 2: We would have weird converse. I mean, there's been moments
- 12:49Speaker 2: where we sit down and even the band was kind
- 12:51Speaker 2: of also an accident where we walked in, we sang
- 12:54Speaker 2: a song together. Nick was already signed as a Soul
- 12:56Speaker 2: Arts and then we became a band. So this happens
- 12:58Speaker 2: quite a few times. Usually it's a conversation where Nick's like,
- 13:01Speaker 2: do I want to include them or not?
- 13:04Speaker 4: So the moral of the stories, if we stick around
- 13:06Speaker 4: long enough, we will be animated characters in your movies.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Well, it just will happen before you go. We're going
- 13:11Speaker 2: to take you very long. But we do this bowl
- 13:13Speaker 2: of questions. We don't know what it says or what
- 13:15Speaker 2: it is, but it's career related. It's nothing to do
- 13:18Speaker 2: with anything. Just if you're up for it, if you don't.
- 13:20Speaker 2: If you don't like it, you can give to another.
- 13:21Speaker 2: They know to switch questions too.
- 13:24Speaker 7: Let's suit you get, but you've got a better one
- 13:26Speaker 7: for this.
- 13:26Speaker 6: Okay.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Oh, we haven't seen these either. We don't know they are.
- 13:35Speaker 6: This is a good one.
- 13:36Speaker 5: Oh yeah.
- 13:38Speaker 7: My husband and I have very different opinions about should
- 13:41Speaker 7: catch up ever go on?
- 13:42Speaker 6: Eggs?
- 13:43Speaker 10: Oh?
- 13:43Speaker 2: Should ketchup?
- 13:44Speaker 7: That's a question because I feel like ketchup should go
- 13:47Speaker 7: on not a lot of things. I feel like ketchup
- 13:49Speaker 7: is for French fries. Yeah, correct, maybe a hot dog
- 13:53Speaker 7: though I'm really mustard. But my husband has been I've
- 13:58Speaker 7: been trying to be a better why by being more
- 14:00Speaker 7: open to the idea that you might put ketch up
- 14:03Speaker 7: on something that the person who's has worked really hard
- 14:06Speaker 7: on that that person didn't put ketchup on it for
- 14:09Speaker 7: a reason.
- 14:10Speaker 2: But maybe it sounds like an episode of food Court.
- 14:15Speaker 2: I noticed, you know what I.
- 14:18Speaker 6: Put ketchup on. That's really weird. But I only do
- 14:21Speaker 6: it when I make it myself, Okay, but I never
- 14:23Speaker 6: do it in a restaurant because I think it's rude
- 14:25Speaker 6: to the chef, is what I mean? Yeah? So I
- 14:28Speaker 6: so I so I I I do. I definitely when
- 14:31Speaker 6: I'm at a restaurant versus.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Very kind of you.
- 14:34Speaker 4: So I know you're paying for it, right, but I
- 14:36Speaker 4: feel like.
- 14:37Speaker 2: I feel like there.
- 14:38Speaker 6: So if I make a steak at home, I make
- 14:44Speaker 6: my own condiment which includes ketchup a one sauce and
- 14:49Speaker 6: tabasco I lovelicious.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Nick brings a one package with him the restaurants a
- 14:55Speaker 2: little bay, so he's kind offends.
- 14:58Speaker 6: Depending on what restaurant you go to. Sometimes they won't.
- 15:00Speaker 6: They don't like it. She won't like it if you
- 15:02Speaker 6: put anyone saw on.
- 15:03Speaker 2: That's why I bring you. Yeah, you got little packet,
- 15:05Speaker 2: That's why I want to do it.
- 15:06Speaker 6: If I if I'm walking, the.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Next time you could go steak, we will not put
- 15:10Speaker 2: anything but your condiments on it.
- 15:12Speaker 6: I promise I will make You're gonna if you like spicy.
- 15:15Speaker 2: From your husband in dinner from your restaurant.
- 15:17Speaker 6: Hold day restaurant, actually make a kill a steak.
- 15:20Speaker 4: By the way, right before you guys go, what is
- 15:22Speaker 4: your last question here?
- 15:22Speaker 2: Okay?
- 15:23Speaker 6: So what's the acceptable number of times to hit snooze?
- 15:28Speaker 6: This is a great one.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Depends if your working that day. If you're not walking,
- 15:34Speaker 2: you don't right okay, I think please your question answer.
- 15:39Speaker 6: I always set up my long clock two times. Yeah,
- 15:43Speaker 6: the time that I want to wake up and the
- 15:46Speaker 6: time that if I'm still sleepy then so if you
- 15:51Speaker 6: didn't wake up, yeah, and so the second alarm would
- 15:54Speaker 6: be like, I must wake up at this time, and
- 15:56Speaker 6: we're gonna be like fifteen minutes apart. It's good, great,
- 16:00Speaker 6: spavorite exactly like that.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Thank you so much, Thank you guys, so much. Excited movie.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Its gonna be so fun. You have a great twenty
- 16:08Speaker 2: three Yeah, thank you guys. Yeah, it is really fun. Thanks. Thanks.
- 16:16Speaker 2: We're having a lot of fun with it.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:22Speaker 4: Yeah, h miss Kevin, thank you.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Thank you. Weekends. Yeah, guys, thank you so much. O. Hi,
- 16:40Speaker 2: we'll get up. Yes, Hi, how are you? It's good pleasure.
- 16:45Speaker 2: How are you there? O? My god, no, you can't
- 16:51Speaker 2: handle it. Well, thanks for hanging out.
- 16:55Speaker 4: This will we will have to face I have to
- 16:57Speaker 4: face on my my children after we're done with this interview.
- 16:59Speaker 2: But this is so cool. Yeah, this is really cool.

- 17:46Speaker 10: new characters.
- 17:47Speaker 5: New adventures.
- 17:48Speaker 10: It's all taking place in one day, self contained, fantastic.
- 17:52Speaker 10: It's a roller.
- 17:53Speaker 11: Coaster of a day.
- 17:54Speaker 2: And we've heard it's a horror. Is that correct? I
- 18:03Speaker 2: would like to go and see it in the theater,
- 18:05Speaker 2: that the four D experience. It would be kind of fun. Well, obviously,
- 18:11Speaker 2: we're all we're all well, I shouldn't say obviously, we're
- 18:14Speaker 2: all girl dads, and we love your show. And I

- 18:29Speaker 2: He's like, I need to show you guys something right now,

- 18:42Speaker 3: we were touring in Australia and New Zealand to stop
- 18:46Speaker 3: and Brisbane for a show, and we had some of
- 18:48Speaker 3: the team from Blue We come out and actually did
- 18:50Speaker 3: a little section in the re intro to our performance
- 18:52Speaker 3: where we we did the Bluey song.
- 18:57Speaker 2: It was a big deal.
- 18:58Speaker 3: It kind of is that where you guys live, that's
- 19:01Speaker 3: where and we live in where.
- 19:05Speaker 10: I live in Pennsylvania.

- 19:43Speaker 4: seen so many videos of dogs being dogs at it
- 19:47Speaker 4: sounds like they've watched the show. It's out of control.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Have you find that out in the wild? In the
- 19:52Speaker 3: real world? There have been times where you're talking to someone,
- 19:55Speaker 3: perhaps on a plane or flight or something, and they
- 19:57Speaker 3: hear your voice and realize that they've heard your voice
- 20:00Speaker 3: and then go, how do I know that voice?
- 20:02Speaker 2: It sticks with them?
- 20:03Speaker 3: It doesn't happen that often.
- 20:04Speaker 2: I've never if I see the next you want to play,
- 20:06Speaker 2: it would happen context?
- 20:09Speaker 4: Do you put it on a touch more or is
- 20:11Speaker 4: this like?
- 20:11Speaker 2: No, this is your voice. We'll be looking at each
- 20:13Speaker 2: other like this is it?
- 20:16Speaker 6: The first time on the phone, I was like, oh,
- 20:18Speaker 6: you're you're just.
- 20:24Speaker 2: The vow it's a bit.
- 20:24Speaker 10: I have a pretty neutral Australian accent, So for MoMA, yeah,
- 20:28Speaker 10: there's a little bit more where I lean in and
- 20:31Speaker 10: I'm a bit more mom.
- 20:32Speaker 6: But this guy, this guy very mad.
- 20:34Speaker 3: That's all I can do.
- 20:35Speaker 2: It's lucky.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Hey, it sounds like banned it otherwise would be stuffed.

- 20:51Speaker 3: There's a bunch of secret stuff.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Yeah, they've got stuff incoming. You know. We want to
- 20:55Speaker 2: see what's going to happen. You guys know what's happening them.

- 21:35Speaker 2: Sounds like an episode of.
- 21:38Speaker 10: This episode childhood House rules? My gosh, what was Okay?

- 22:38Speaker 5: I love that we keep it.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Everybody holds a corner. That's a good question. That's a

- 31:38Speaker 2: I'm not kidding. This is the bedtime thing, the ritual,
- 31:41Speaker 2: the bedtime ritual.
- 31:42Speaker 3: As we do with all our guests. We have a
- 31:44Speaker 3: bowl of questions here. Uh.
- 31:45Speaker 2: They are not career related. We've never seen them. We'd
- 31:47Speaker 2: love for you to answer one. If you can just
- 31:49Speaker 2: pick one and you can skip. If you don't like
- 31:51Speaker 2: the question, Kevin, can I.
- 31:52Speaker 11: Go to the parks with you tomorrow?
- 31:53Speaker 2: Come on down, Love, that sounds fun.
- 31:55Speaker 4: We won't cause any attention if we ask your bank account.
- 31:59Speaker 4: It just ignorees you can.
- 31:59Speaker 11: Just a wizard makes you permanently slightly worse at one thing?
- 32:05Speaker 11: What are you sacrificing? Where these questions come.
- 32:09Speaker 2: From the bowl?
- 32:12Speaker 11: So wizard makes me slightly worse at one thing? Yeah,
- 32:16Speaker 11: don't say drumming, drumming.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Don't say drumming. We need you as a drummer.
- 32:21Speaker 11: What are you sacrificing? Slightly worse? Slightly worse?
- 32:26Speaker 2: What are you so good at that.
- 32:29Speaker 3: You can let you can sacrifice just a little bit extra?
- 32:34Speaker 2: I don't know what good looks you can give a
- 32:37Speaker 2: little bit of your good looks? Too much? You have
- 32:40Speaker 2: too much?
- 32:40Speaker 11: Thank you, Joe, I take take my looks. Wizard, you
- 32:44Speaker 11: motherfuck up.
- 32:45Speaker 2: It's just a little bit. Get the blue cast in curse.
- 32:52Speaker 2: But I think contractually they're not. They don't even know where.
- 32:54Speaker 2: It's like three hours of blue yesterday. Do you incredible?
- 32:58Speaker 2: He just started talking. He must have passed you outside
- 33:01Speaker 2: the trailer. He was the guy who did the voice. Yeah,

- 33:21Speaker 11: top of it. You still have hits, you still sound great,
- 33:23Speaker 11: you still look great. One of you is the better
- 33:25Speaker 11: looking than the other.
- 33:26Speaker 2: Yeah, he looked at Kevin. It's because he's in a
- 33:29Speaker 2: taller chair. It's exactly a little more chair. Well, thank
- 33:33Speaker 2: you so much again for hanging out with us.
- 33:35Speaker 5: Thanks for.
- 33:37Speaker 2: So you guys will ride right together. Think of me

- 33:45Speaker 2: Oh yeah, maybe that's true. Maybe that's a Leo Leo.
- 33:49Speaker 2: We know the hair. We'll never compete for the stage,
- 33:53Speaker 2: but we both are on it. We're in the light.
- 33:55Speaker 11: Maybe we Uh. I'm just grateful to be here d

- 34:54Speaker 5: This is the first time we're hearing about the third one.
- 34:56Speaker 2: What can you Yes, well, it takes place in New
- 34:59Speaker 2: York City. Yeah, Chang, okay, it's a Marvel Universe crossover.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Hayden Christistan is reprising his role is Darth Vader.
- 35:11Speaker 5: It is my contract for this weird way.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Yeah, well in a couple of weeks.
- 35:18Speaker 3: So funny story, but I didn't realize I would be
- 35:23Speaker 3: sharing today until this moment. My audition for Frozen.
- 35:26Speaker 5: What mm hmm. I went in for Christoph.
- 35:30Speaker 3: For Christoph and I went in and they said, okay,
- 35:34Speaker 3: what are you going to be singing today? I said, oh,
- 35:36Speaker 3: I don't know. What do you mean, you don't know?
- 35:39Speaker 3: They're like, do you have your sheet music? I said no,
- 35:42Speaker 3: No one told me I had okay, let's and so
- 35:44Speaker 3: I just said, can you play something from I don't
- 35:46Speaker 3: know what. I said, some musical theater song? And I
- 35:48Speaker 3: bombed the audition. It was terrible.
- 35:50Speaker 6: What that must have been?
- 35:51Speaker 11: Why you didn't get it?
- 35:53Speaker 5: Look, I'll say it here.
- 35:54Speaker 12: Probably would have such better chemistry with Chris and.
- 36:00Speaker 1: I love.
- 36:01Speaker 12: I do think it would be like this feels real,
- 36:03Speaker 12: this feels like authentic.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Now, who's that on? You still work with these people
- 36:08Speaker 2: that different?
- 36:08Speaker 3: I've changed agency three times since then.
- 36:11Speaker 5: Three times the other ones.
- 36:15Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, massive fans in our house, thank you for
- 36:18Speaker 3: spending you didn't get you don't hold that against I
- 36:21Speaker 3: didn't spite watching.
- 36:22Speaker 2: I really didn't the first time watch.
- 36:26Speaker 3: We have quite a bit of history. We have mutual friends,
- 36:29Speaker 3: and we do massive fans of yours as well. And
- 36:32Speaker 3: I'm glad to see you on the pod. Christen, your
- 36:34Speaker 3: husband is.
- 36:35Speaker 4: Your husband, he is and one of fans.
- 36:40Speaker 2: He's great. We have a great time on his podcast.
- 36:42Speaker 2: I loved you, guys, We loved He told us that day,
- 36:44Speaker 2: He's like, you should start a podcast. No, just making
- 36:47Speaker 2: sure you guys, am checking if you listen to the episode.
- 36:49Speaker 2: But you didn't in my in my no, I did not.
- 36:54Speaker 2: In my defense, because I get the recap every night.
- 37:00Speaker 2: I get the cliffs notes all the time.
- 37:02Speaker 6: Who did you have on today?
- 37:02Speaker 2: What were the cool moments? Did you like that? Like
- 37:04Speaker 2: all the things?
- 37:05Speaker 6: So I don't you know.
- 37:07Speaker 4: I ran into your husband at the airport like maybe
- 37:09Speaker 4: three weeks ago, and he just looked so cool walking
- 37:12Speaker 4: in and then I'm like, so, hey, what are you doing?
- 37:14Speaker 4: What do you I'm just going to a motorcycle, like,
- 37:17Speaker 4: you know, a race car thing. I was just like,
- 37:19Speaker 4: there's just too cool, yeah, somewhere.
- 37:24Speaker 5: For driving Alexis.
- 37:26Speaker 12: It like offends him, Yes, it offends his masculinity, right.
- 37:30Speaker 12: He always like says like, but I like when I
- 37:32Speaker 12: see you, I'm like, that's Alexis guy, and like, I
- 37:34Speaker 12: don't know what that means.
- 37:36Speaker 13: He has a whole hierarchy of cars in his head,
- 37:38Speaker 13: and he loves old cars and he loves fixing old cars.
- 37:41Speaker 13: So he's got like a sixty seven Lincoln. We drive
- 37:43Speaker 13: around in a lot and we like our family car
- 37:46Speaker 13: is the ninety four Buick Roadmaster with the paneled.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Station wagon that like Chevy Chase.
- 37:55Speaker 6: You still have that.
- 37:56Speaker 13: And we have the tour bus, yeah, which is also
- 37:58Speaker 13: known as the motor home, but yeah, it's also known
- 38:00Speaker 13: as a tour bus, and we do a lot of
- 38:03Speaker 13: Is he the.
- 38:03Speaker 5: Kind of guy who fixes all of the vehicles.
- 38:07Speaker 13: In fact, I'm not allowed to drive certain cars because
- 38:10Speaker 13: I'm not quote unquote qualified, which is also correct. And
- 38:14Speaker 13: he no one's ever driven the motor home the tour bus,
- 38:18Speaker 13: but he drives.
- 38:18Speaker 2: He would never. He just he likes to the.
- 38:21Speaker 5: Kids take it for a drive.
- 38:22Speaker 13: No, well, sometimes they'll sit on his lap and they
- 38:24Speaker 13: take the wheel when we're on long stretches.
- 38:25Speaker 2: But that's fun.
- 38:27Speaker 3: Now we're here t twenty three, you are all legends,
- 38:30Speaker 3: so tell us.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Become a legend.
- 38:35Speaker 5: We still haven't been told.
- 38:37Speaker 2: We got a pin.
- 38:38Speaker 6: Yeah, we got a pin.
- 38:39Speaker 2: And the day after Beautiful Statue too, we did get
- 38:42Speaker 2: a statute.
- 38:42Speaker 13: It was very heavy and if you're designed by the imagineers, and.
- 38:45Speaker 1: We got to put our hands in the yes, small, okay.
- 38:49Speaker 13: And I was told that the pin was very very significant,
- 38:53Speaker 13: like this, don't lose this.
- 38:56Speaker 1: I know.
- 38:57Speaker 13: Well I actually tested it and I wore it the
- 38:59Speaker 13: next next day on my sweater when I went to
- 39:01Speaker 13: Disneyland with my kids, and I was like, shoot.
- 39:05Speaker 2: This is gonna cause way.
- 39:11Speaker 13: Oh no, and literally not one person noticed, not like,
- 39:16Speaker 13: not any nobody. And sometimes I would even test him
- 39:20Speaker 13: and I walk up to like people who had clearly
- 39:21Speaker 13: worked at the park for a long time, and they
- 39:24Speaker 13: were like a larger honest.
- 39:27Speaker 2: To god, so it does.
- 39:28Speaker 5: Why do you have such a small pin.
- 39:31Speaker 2: Heavy birthday?
- 39:33Speaker 1: I like to go up to the Elsa's One time,
- 39:36Speaker 1: I was so excited to take a picture with one
- 39:39Speaker 1: of the women, uh you know Elsa's and what do
- 39:42Speaker 1: you call them? Picture character people? And I was totally
- 39:48Speaker 1: trying to be cool and natural and say say, you know,
- 39:51Speaker 1: I know, it's really hot out there, you know, like chalkter,
- 39:54Speaker 1: like the actress that she is, and she would not
- 39:57Speaker 1: come out a character and she's like, yes, it's very hot,
- 40:00Speaker 1: Canaron dell.
- 40:02Speaker 2: They also won't stop doing this. It is.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Like she was in a cult.
- 40:10Speaker 2: That's the job, are you okay? Man?
- 40:16Speaker 3: Well, I mean frozen iconic Disney property at this point.
- 40:22Speaker 3: And you know, I think for for all the families
- 40:26Speaker 3: that have lived and experienced that together, it's it's a
- 40:29Speaker 3: really special thing and has like you know, a very
- 40:32Speaker 3: no pun intented warm place in my heart. Did you
- 40:35Speaker 3: ever think it would become as absolutely monstrous as it
- 40:38Speaker 3: became globally. Absolutely not, I didn't so hard question is
- 40:41Speaker 3: I'm sure, But as you're sitting there in the booth
- 40:43Speaker 3: recording and these sessions, you know, I wouldn't know because
- 40:46Speaker 3: I didn't get the job.
- 40:48Speaker 2: But I've done one or.
- 40:49Speaker 3: Two terrible sort of like disjointed, and then by the
- 40:53Speaker 3: end it's all put together and then you see the
- 40:55Speaker 3: final thing.
- 40:55Speaker 2: What was the experience like then?
- 40:56Speaker 3: And then when you're watching it become the global phenomenon,
- 40:59Speaker 3: it became.
- 41:00Speaker 12: The experience was one of being incredibly disjointed. Like truly,
- 41:03Speaker 12: I did not know the plot of Frozen. I only
- 41:07Speaker 12: really knew what my.
- 41:08Speaker 5: Character was doing when you only read your But.
- 41:12Speaker 1: They don't want to getting out right, I don't think
- 41:14Speaker 1: I ever.
- 41:14Speaker 5: Read the script of Frozen.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Really yeah, I don't think.
- 41:17Speaker 13: They don't always ask for the whole script so I can.
- 41:19Speaker 5: But I don't.
- 41:20Speaker 1: But they don't change.
- 41:23Speaker 5: I don't like active.
- 41:26Speaker 1: I like that's the beautiful thing about the process is
- 41:29Speaker 1: that when they're changing things, we get to come back
- 41:31Speaker 1: in and then sort of like chicken in the egg
- 41:32Speaker 1: and we come up with something like I'm sure when
- 41:35Speaker 1: Josh is in the booth comes up with all the
- 41:36Speaker 1: stuff that then changes what the animation should be, and
- 41:38Speaker 1: then they get a new idea with a song and
- 41:42Speaker 1: so sort of like yeah.
- 41:44Speaker 12: But I don't think we realized until that very first
- 41:47Speaker 12: screening where we saw.
- 41:48Speaker 4: Which were probably there was twelve of us.
- 41:50Speaker 6: Maybe it was very I think you were.
- 41:52Speaker 5: I think you were doing it.
- 41:53Speaker 1: In the other interview and I said, I was doing
- 41:57Speaker 1: a show.
- 41:59Speaker 13: Here on the original Dolls for both of us.
- 42:04Speaker 5: Every other podcast and a lives about this one thing.
- 42:07Speaker 2: It's very straight together the story in d C.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Yeah, and I asked them to show the whole cast
- 42:18Speaker 1: the movie and I got to do like granted theater
- 42:20Speaker 1: down in DC. I see it and that.
- 42:22Speaker 5: Was was there.
- 42:24Speaker 11: I think it was just you and me and.
- 42:26Speaker 12: We and my wife and we saw it and were
- 42:31Speaker 12: we looked at each other.
- 42:32Speaker 5: I remember Dax going, Oh, this this is special, this
- 42:37Speaker 5: is this is really nice.
- 42:39Speaker 3: I'm gonna drive my fancy god.
- 42:41Speaker 12: Night to celebrate, let the kids, Let the kids drive
- 42:46Speaker 12: our most expensive vehicles.
- 42:48Speaker 2: I knew it was going to have impact because.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Uh, when uh and this, you know, my ex husband
- 42:56Speaker 1: were very close actually, but at the time we were
- 42:59Speaker 1: just splitting and so maybe we weren't as close at
- 43:02Speaker 1: the time at that time, and he would have to
- 43:06Speaker 1: hear let it go in every mall and everywhere he went.
- 43:09Speaker 1: And that's when I realized how profound this film was going,
- 43:14Speaker 1: what reach it was going to happen.
- 43:15Speaker 12: I was trying to get Ava an else address, and
- 43:19Speaker 12: I could not get one anywhere. And I remember they
- 43:23Speaker 12: had to like he told me that Bob Iiker tried
- 43:27Speaker 12: to get one for like his grandchild, I guess, and
- 43:31Speaker 12: they had to sh They had one left in Hawaii
- 43:35Speaker 12: and they shipped it down.
- 43:36Speaker 2: And that's what I was a legend.
- 43:40Speaker 12: Yeah, So I was like, okay, so this movie is
- 43:44Speaker 12: like different, something different.
- 43:46Speaker 5: This is because it had been a while since there
- 43:49Speaker 5: had been.
- 43:49Speaker 12: Like a phenomenon like that in the animation space. It
- 43:54Speaker 12: was like, you know, Disney animated movies when we were
- 43:57Speaker 12: growing up were like that, but there hadn't been one
- 44:00Speaker 12: like that in a long time.
- 44:01Speaker 5: Tangle did really.
- 44:02Speaker 12: Well, but it wasn't like this sort of like overnight
- 44:05Speaker 12: thing where everybody's.
- 44:06Speaker 5: Singing the songs.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Well past the release. It just keeps.
- 44:11Speaker 12: These movies become cult classics, and with Frozen, it was
- 44:14Speaker 12: like this immediate thing where you're like, this is this
- 44:17Speaker 12: feels like the movies I grew up with, like Little Mermaid,
- 44:20Speaker 12: be and the Beast, Aladdin.
- 44:21Speaker 5: It just felt different, so special.
- 44:23Speaker 4: So now we know we're getting a third obviously, are
- 44:26Speaker 4: we getting a live action one as well? Maybe one
- 44:28Speaker 4: day down the line with who?
- 44:30Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 44:31Speaker 13: I tried to convince these dopes to do the Broadway
- 44:33Speaker 13: show with me, and they were like, in what universe
- 44:36Speaker 13: do you think I saw? I was like, yeah, yeah,
- 44:48Speaker 13: I think they might have to choose some younger characters.
- 44:54Speaker 2: It's finally come.
- 44:55Speaker 13: I'd want to play honor those Joey.
- 44:57Speaker 4: King just on the podcast, like she's so great, so incredible.
- 45:05Speaker 5: You know who's campaigning for your role? I found out on.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Your done So yeah that was wow.
- 45:17Speaker 12: Know Anya Taylor Troy is like publicly be yes.
- 45:24Speaker 2: I see I see it, see it.
- 45:26Speaker 1: I see that there's c g I and that Martin
- 45:29Speaker 1: makes all of his actors men, male actors look as
- 45:32Speaker 1: young as he needs to.
- 45:34Speaker 6: So I can't I just do then we can do it.
- 45:41Speaker 6: I think you want to try on that suit?
- 45:44Speaker 2: I want to try on that suit?
- 45:48Speaker 10: All right?
- 45:49Speaker 2: Sold U?
- 45:50Speaker 1: Huh?
- 45:52Speaker 3: As we do with all I guess We have a
- 45:53Speaker 3: bold of questions here are unrelated to your careers.
- 45:56Speaker 2: Sorry to Disney, we've not seen you can write inst
- 45:58Speaker 2: wed love for you to to pick one and answer.
- 46:01Speaker 3: If you don't like, you can pick it.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Everyone. I'm supposed to be able to see this.
- 46:08Speaker 5: That's for you.
- 46:09Speaker 2: I haven't read it.
- 46:10Speaker 11: That's the goal, all right, Okay, do we read it
- 46:13Speaker 11: out loud?
- 46:14Speaker 1: Yes?
- 46:15Speaker 13: Well, the answer to mine is yes. Is it weird
- 46:18Speaker 13: to drink milk by itself as an adult? Yeah, you
- 46:21Speaker 13: either have to have as an adult. You're allowed to
- 46:23Speaker 13: have spaghetti and you're allowed to have oreos alongside the milk,
- 46:27Speaker 13: but anything else is unhinged.
- 46:29Speaker 10: Spaghetti, well, I grew up in the Midwest.
- 46:33Speaker 2: That was a very That's a spaghetti drink. Guys, I'm sorry.
- 46:37Speaker 5: Spaghetti and milk.
- 46:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a spaghetti drink. I'm not going to argue
- 46:41Speaker 2: with you. There's a factual answer to this question, and
- 46:44Speaker 2: that is not the one.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Do you call soda pop?
- 46:48Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 46:48Speaker 2: It makes sense, Okay, I like it.
- 46:53Speaker 5: This is it's the most elaborate life.
- 46:55Speaker 12: You told his kid that an adult fully believed. Oh
- 47:00Speaker 12: my god, I well what immediately there's I was a
- 47:03Speaker 12: NonStop liar.
- 47:04Speaker 5: As a child, I lied so.
- 47:06Speaker 12: Much, so there's so many flooding back. But it's not
- 47:09Speaker 12: the good lies that come back to me, it's the
- 47:11Speaker 12: terrible ones. And I remember my best friend Seth was
- 47:16Speaker 12: absent because his mom was having a baby.
- 47:20Speaker 1: And I.
- 47:23Speaker 12: Wanted to be the cool kid to like know all
- 47:25Speaker 12: the information. So when the teacher said, does anyone know
- 47:28Speaker 12: where Seth is?
- 47:29Speaker 2: I go, yeah, his mom is.
- 47:31Speaker 12: His mom's giving birth to a baby and they're naming
- 47:34Speaker 12: the baby Seth Junior. And I didn't understand how like
- 47:39Speaker 12: Junior worked. She's like, they're naming the baby after their
- 47:44Speaker 12: other child. I was like, Sarah, call, that's that's what they.
- 47:53Speaker 10: Want to do.
- 47:54Speaker 1: So like.
- 47:56Speaker 5: I would pop commit to like lies that people could
- 47:58Speaker 5: see through. But then I guessed, let them.
- 48:03Speaker 1: Can I have another one because this one's too easy.
- 48:05Speaker 1: It's asked me the last time I got food poisoning,
- 48:07Speaker 1: and I just carry toms with me everywhere I go.
- 48:10Speaker 2: So that's what you're afraid of, that question?
- 48:13Speaker 6: So no, it's just like I get it all the time.
- 48:15Speaker 1: I don't know the question person, and so I eat
- 48:19Speaker 1: too late and then I lay down and my head
- 48:22Speaker 1: should be up and all that you know, and so
- 48:24Speaker 1: then I take times and then I can't twelve days.
- 48:28Speaker 2: That's not acid reflux?
- 48:31Speaker 6: All right?
- 48:31Speaker 1: What am I thinking?
- 48:32Speaker 2: This is?
- 48:33Speaker 1: Like?
- 48:33Speaker 2: Did you like sorry?
- 48:35Speaker 1: Like?
- 48:35Speaker 6: Why was I thank you?
- 48:38Speaker 5: Poisoning so often.
- 48:43Speaker 7: Laid down?
- 48:43Speaker 2: I'm like, oh no, I'm in trouble. I was like,
- 48:46Speaker 2: I stay up late.
- 48:48Speaker 9: I wouldn't say, I like, I'll leave food out for
- 48:53Speaker 9: a week. I'll go home and the food will stink it.
- 48:59Speaker 9: It's just it all smells like ship.
- 49:03Speaker 1: Gonna get very so embarrassed.
- 49:06Speaker 3: I just love that I don't know one.
- 49:10Speaker 2: This was much more memorable this reading down.
- 49:15Speaker 5: What's something you own? Way too many of.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Now readers, because I can't track where they are and
- 49:28Speaker 1: the dog eats them, and so in the half of
- 49:30Speaker 1: the time there's like three one on my head, one
- 49:32Speaker 1: of my nose, one around my neck. But you see,
- 49:35Speaker 1: the other answer was so much interesting when I didn't
- 49:38Speaker 1: know what food poison I've never had food food poisoning.
- 49:41Speaker 6: I don't think.
- 49:44Speaker 5: Never.
- 49:45Speaker 6: I don't think I've ever had food.
- 49:48Speaker 2: Tonight, Thank you guys so much for.
- 49:53Speaker 5: I'm certain that this is going to sell tickets A
- 49:55Speaker 5: frozen three. I've never been more certain in my life.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Yes, flooding at least three.
- 50:03Speaker 6: For the record you.
- 50:05Speaker 5: Should have gotten.
- 50:06Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 50:06Speaker 5: Yeah, you shouldn't have held that against you, that you
- 50:08Speaker 5: didn't sing a proper song.
- 50:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't sing any But you know what's funny.
- 50:14Speaker 5: I went in to also audition, and I too didn't
- 50:18Speaker 5: know I had to prepare a song.
- 50:19Speaker 12: So I think that that was on Disney because I
- 50:22Speaker 12: came in and I remember singing, singing, uh, bare necessities,
- 50:28Speaker 12: but I didn't prep anything.
- 50:29Speaker 5: It's like I can sing like a Disney song.
- 50:32Speaker 3: I guess I think what I did, I just went
- 50:34Speaker 3: with whatever. Yeah, and I pulled up I literally can't
- 50:37Speaker 3: remember the song, but I just pulled the sheet music
- 50:38Speaker 3: and gave it to the company and they played it
- 50:40Speaker 3: and I had not prepared it, so the key was
- 50:43Speaker 3: much higher than.
- 50:45Speaker 2: And then you know, it just wasn't for me. Jonathan
- 50:48Speaker 2: did a great job. But I'm glad we had this
- 50:50Speaker 2: moment nothing else.
- 50:51Speaker 5: Thank you for revealing your truth to us.
- 50:54Speaker 2: Thank you appreciate so much. Thank you, Thank you, sons Man,
- 51:04Speaker 2: pleasure Man podcast, Yeah, podcast Man, We're big fans, are
- 51:09Speaker 2: so happy you're on. Thank you for stumbling in our
- 51:12Speaker 2: glorious trailer. Massive trailer.
- 51:14Speaker 8: I feel I feel like, I, I, uh, where are
- 51:17Speaker 8: you guys from?
- 51:18Speaker 2: So we're from New Jersey originally from Jerseys exist in
- 51:21Speaker 2: New Jersey, but northeast. Where are you from?
- 51:24Speaker 8: I'm from Canada. I'm from Toronto. I've I've ganed part
- 51:28Speaker 8: of time in Toronto. I had grandparents out on Long Island.
- 51:31Speaker 8: And I feel like ten years ago I saw I
- 51:34Speaker 8: think it was you maybe did you have a fancy
- 51:38Speaker 8: car maybe and Aston Martin?
- 51:41Speaker 2: Maybe, yes, yes you did.
- 51:43Speaker 8: Okay, what I think I think I saw you?
- 51:45Speaker 2: What is this story?
- 51:46Speaker 8: I like this story driving out of like a strip
- 51:49Speaker 8: mall somewhere like just a no nonsense that's what you
- 51:53Speaker 8: call it.
- 51:53Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I think it was renting Aston Martin and
- 51:58Speaker 2: I don't know. I was on vacation, our thing, but yeah,
- 52:01Speaker 2: I was like, straight you drove out to the Hamptons.
- 52:04Speaker 8: That's right, Yes, yeah, I saw you drive by. That's
- 52:09Speaker 8: our connection.
- 52:10Speaker 2: Another well, I've seen you all of our lives on
- 52:14Speaker 2: the big screen, everything you've ever done. Yeah, we're big fans.
- 52:17Speaker 2: Thank you, thank you, thank you. Our lives and our family.
- 52:22Speaker 2: Our dad is is lifelong diehard Star Wars fans. Okay, cool,
- 52:25Speaker 2: which passed baton to us and we became massive fans.
- 52:30Speaker 2: And we also are like Jumper is one of our
- 52:32Speaker 2: favorite films as brothers growing up. And then we saw
- 52:34Speaker 2: in the theaters like three times awesome. That was fun.
- 52:37Speaker 2: Waiting for that to become a TV show. We feel
- 52:39Speaker 2: like that that would be a great I think they did.
- 52:41Speaker 2: Actually I think I think, not with me, but we
- 52:45Speaker 2: didn't watch it. Hold on, but I think I think
- 52:47Speaker 2: I think there.
- 52:48Speaker 8: Was a TV version of it that they did some
- 52:50Speaker 8: years back. Okay, so yeah you can, you can maybe
- 52:54Speaker 8: find that. We'll check it out somewhere.
- 52:56Speaker 2: Well, we're so thrilled. I mean, obviously, this is so exciting.
- 52:58Speaker 2: You're reprising a role yet again.
- 53:00Speaker 8: It's a good one.
- 53:01Speaker 2: It's a good one.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:02Speaker 4: Do you enjoy coming back as like obviously the main character,
- 53:06Speaker 4: Darth Vader.
- 53:06Speaker 8: Of course, it's it's it's it's good fun.
- 53:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:11Speaker 8: I feel very lucky to get to come back and
- 53:13Speaker 8: play this character some more. You know, when we finished
- 53:17Speaker 8: doing the prequels, I kind of I thought that was
- 53:19Speaker 8: that was it. And yeah, and then many years later
- 53:23Speaker 8: I got a call asking me to come back, and
- 53:26Speaker 8: and we're continuing to do more and it's it's amazing.
- 53:29Speaker 8: It's been a lot of fun.
- 53:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:30Speaker 2: I mean, obviously everyone saw the the moment when you're
- 53:34Speaker 2: on stage and Star Wars fans get to see you
- 53:37Speaker 2: up there for the first time and well, really celebrate
- 53:40Speaker 2: you and what a journey they've been on. Obviously you're
- 53:44Speaker 2: you're overtaken with emotion. What was that experience like.
- 53:46Speaker 8: For you at the Star Wars Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 53:50Speaker 8: yeah in London a few years back. Yeah, that was
- 53:55Speaker 8: I you know, I was overcome with with with emotion
- 54:00Speaker 8: and I was also very jet lagged, and I think
- 54:02Speaker 8: maybe that played into it. But it's you know, it's
- 54:06Speaker 8: it's a really beautiful event that they do, and you get,
- 54:10Speaker 8: you know, Star Wars fans showing up and these amazing
- 54:14Speaker 8: costumes and families coming and you know, parents with their kids,
- 54:19Speaker 8: and I get I get a little choked up when
- 54:21Speaker 8: I when I see sort of the effect that Star
- 54:22Speaker 8: Wars has had on people, and uh, and the reception
- 54:26Speaker 8: that they gave me when I came out on stage
- 54:28Speaker 8: was was pretty cool. So I got a little choked up.
- 54:30Speaker 2: It is amazing to see that the Star Wars fans
- 54:32Speaker 2: in general, it's just a league of their own It's
- 54:34Speaker 2: so like for us. I mean, our dad has some
- 54:38Speaker 2: incredible first edition memorabilia. He has props we've gifted as
- 54:45Speaker 2: we made our first Jonas Brothers money. The first thing
- 54:49Speaker 2: we did was we made sure we bought owed add
- 54:52Speaker 2: some sort of Star Wars memorability. So he has like
- 54:55Speaker 2: some sketches. It's sick. Yeah, it's pretty crazy. Do you
- 54:58Speaker 2: have anything that you've collected or you've kept from those
- 55:00Speaker 2: years that you're like, I'm gonna hold onto this.
- 55:02Speaker 8: Yeah, I've got I've got a few souvenirs. I got
- 55:05Speaker 8: a couple of lightsabers and la and a couple of
- 55:09Speaker 8: bits from the costume.
- 55:11Speaker 2: Uh uh.
- 55:13Speaker 8: And then a few few things that I maybe snuck
- 55:15Speaker 8: off set that I shouldn't talk.
- 55:16Speaker 3: About just disappear.
- 55:17Speaker 2: Yeah, Like, now, I take you've been into D twenty
- 55:20Speaker 2: three four.
- 55:21Speaker 8: This is my this is my first time.
- 55:22Speaker 4: Oh yeah, it's amazing.
- 55:25Speaker 8: Yeah, No, it's it's quite the event that they put
- 55:27Speaker 8: on here.
- 55:27Speaker 2: I'm sure you've been to Comic Con then I have,
- 55:29Speaker 2: So this is like a similar thing, but obviously for
- 55:31Speaker 2: the Disney fans, just like exclusively Disney.
- 55:33Speaker 3: Yeah, which is so trippy.
- 55:34Speaker 2: Yeah, did you did you grow up as a Disney
- 55:37Speaker 2: fan yourself, did you did?
- 55:38Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 55:39Speaker 8: No, I I I've always been a fan of the Mouse.
- 55:43Speaker 6: Uh.
- 55:44Speaker 8: You know, I watched a lot of the cartoons as
- 55:46Speaker 8: a kid, as as you do. And you know, when
- 55:51Speaker 8: when Disney acquired Star Wars, it just it seemed like
- 55:54Speaker 8: a perfect kind of marriage there and made a lot
- 55:56Speaker 8: of sense.
- 55:57Speaker 2: I have a pretty crazy story about that. Actually, what's that?
- 56:00Speaker 3: Totally didn't expect to tell this story today, but I'm
- 56:03Speaker 3: sitting at a hotel lobby restaurant in New York City.
- 56:09Speaker 3: At the time, I was living in the city and
- 56:11Speaker 3: Hurricane Sandy hit and so I moved up for a
- 56:14Speaker 3: night or two just because my place.
- 56:16Speaker 2: Was on the fifteenth floor or whatever.
- 56:18Speaker 3: It was no power, So staying there, and I look
- 56:21Speaker 3: across the way and there's one other persons sitting in
- 56:23Speaker 3: this restaurant and they're reading a newspaper Trades about Disney
- 56:27Speaker 3: acquiring Lucasfilms, and I'm like, oh wow, that's crazy, six
- 56:31Speaker 3: billion dollar acquisition. That makes sense. They're going to expand
- 56:34Speaker 3: the universe. And as I'm thinking this, the newspaper comes
- 56:37Speaker 3: down and it's George Lucas.
- 56:38Speaker 2: Oh no, this simulation is broken.
- 56:45Speaker 8: Your camera and took a Yeah, tried.
- 56:48Speaker 3: To sneak one. He would have caught it because obviously
- 56:49Speaker 3: it's George Lucas. Did you go over and say I no,
- 56:52Speaker 3: But years later I met him somewhere else I said, Hey,
- 56:54Speaker 3: I was Actually I was there the morning that you
- 56:56Speaker 3: were reading about.
- 56:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 57:00Speaker 3: Yeah, that was a crazy, crazy experience. I mean, Disney
- 57:02Speaker 3: has done a great job in the last couple of
- 57:03Speaker 3: years of these these you know, major fanboy, fan girl,
- 57:07Speaker 3: fan person acquisitions, whether it's it's the MCU, whether it's
- 57:12Speaker 3: Star Wars, and it's been so gratifying for fans to
- 57:15Speaker 3: get to to see these characters come back in different
- 57:19Speaker 3: ways and in these these multiple shows. Obviously Soca's season
- 57:23Speaker 3: two you're part of talked about seventeen years coming back
- 57:25Speaker 3: play an. I'm excited. I loved the first season and
- 57:30Speaker 3: Roseiara Dawson's just she's incredible. Can you give us the
- 57:35Speaker 3: fans any any secrets about season season two or anything
- 57:38Speaker 3: we should be expecting? What can I chair?
- 57:43Speaker 8: You know, they usually try to prevent you from the Yeah,
- 57:49Speaker 8: we've seen that. Yeah, but I'm back for for season two. Uh,
- 57:55Speaker 8: what I've what, I've had a lot of fun with
- 57:57Speaker 8: is uh getting to to play the character during the
- 58:01Speaker 8: Clone Wars timeline, Yeah, which which they did in the
- 58:05Speaker 8: animated world, and and we got to do that a
- 58:08Speaker 8: little bit in season one, and we do a little
- 58:10Speaker 8: bit more of that in season two. And that's a
- 58:13Speaker 8: lot of fun just because it's a different side of
- 58:15Speaker 8: the character, uh, more kind of heroic, you know, warrior
- 58:20Speaker 8: version of the character. And and I guess I can
- 58:25Speaker 8: share that that that I play a forced ghost version
- 58:30Speaker 8: of Anakin, which is like the more kind of wise
- 58:34Speaker 8: all knowing Jedi.
- 58:36Speaker 4: Is there a world in which we could see just
- 58:38Speaker 4: a straight up Anakin show or film. I feel like
- 58:42Speaker 4: that was kind of the prequels, Yeah, but I mean
- 58:45Speaker 4: like in this part of the next phase of it all,
- 58:48Speaker 4: I would love to get to.
- 58:49Speaker 8: Do more and and and like I said, I have
- 58:51Speaker 8: a lot of fun with the Clone Wars stuff, and
- 58:53Speaker 8: I feel like there's lots of good storyline there that
- 58:55Speaker 8: we could continue to to bring to live action. And
- 59:01Speaker 8: you know, I know that like you and McGregor would
- 59:04Speaker 8: love to do more with it. And I've heard Natalie
- 59:07Speaker 8: would love to come back, and uh, you want it,
- 59:10Speaker 8: Sam Jackson, So you could get you could you know,
- 59:12Speaker 8: get the band back, please, get the band back together.
- 59:17Speaker 3: Okay, we have a bowl of questions here, all our guests,
- 59:20Speaker 3: our guests. It's got nothing to do with your career,
- 59:23Speaker 3: literally a bowl of questions, random questions. They are they
- 59:26Speaker 3: are Disney approved, because of course you know we're here.
- 59:32Speaker 8: At what point in a friendship can you show up
- 59:35Speaker 8: without texting first? I don't know that I fully understand
- 59:41Speaker 8: the question.
- 59:42Speaker 3: You know, you could just show up to someone's house
- 59:44Speaker 3: and you say, I'm just.
- 59:45Speaker 8: Here a pop friend like pop Bye, yeah, years many years, right,
- 59:53Speaker 8: it's the Cramer pop Eye.
- 59:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:55Speaker 8: I was a big Seinfeld fan, big time too.
- 59:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:59Speaker 8: I feel like that's usually reserved just for like a
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: couple a couple.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: Of weeks, you know, your week, very close, a couple
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: of weeks. This is the trailers always open.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: I moved out to the to the country many years
- 1:00:13Speaker 8: ago just to have like the appropriate and this existence
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: in Canada. You know, they don't have to poyes.
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: But like I remember reading, like or hearing some random
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: thing that you had pigs as pets.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: I did, yeah, and I was.
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: I thought, after I think you were doing the press
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: four jumper, and I was like, yeah, and you mentioned it,
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: and I was like, that's the coolest thing I've ever heard.
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: I do.
- 1:00:36Speaker 8: Yeah, I had these two, uh what I thought were
- 1:00:40Speaker 8: miniature pot belly pigs. But I think the whole miniature
- 1:00:44Speaker 8: thing is a con. I don't think they actually sell
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: them to they sell them too small, but they become
- 1:00:49Speaker 8: full sized pigs, and so they eventually, uh, we're no
- 1:00:53Speaker 8: longer house pets. And then they moved out to the barn.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: And would you say they were piglets? Is that the
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: appropriate I.
- 1:00:59Speaker 8: Think that's the appropriate terminology, piglets, piglets or piglets.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: It just seems kind of like.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: Like something you shouldn't say, though, piglets.
- 1:01:11Speaker 8: Yet, pigs and pigs are great, I mean the very
- 1:01:15Speaker 8: intelligent animals.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of animals on the on the at
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: the moment.
- 1:01:20Speaker 8: I don't I used to keep a lot of animals
- 1:01:22Speaker 8: and then uh, and then I became a dad, and
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: you know, uh, there's only your energy in so many
- 1:01:30Speaker 8: different places, so we.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: Get we're all girl dads ourselves.
- 1:01:33Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm a girl dad too.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Nice.
- 1:01:35Speaker 8: It's the best, it's the best.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: We appreciate being on the next season. We're so excited,
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: say you guys get to meet you and uh, finally,
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: finally it's about for a long time.
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: You drove off to your fast and you're asking Martin Joe.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: Yeah, man, I feel pretty cool now.
- 1:01:51Speaker 8: Actually yeah, it's really nice to be nice.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: I appreciate it. But we get a video with you
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: that saying hi. That was great. Yeah, what an unbelievable day.
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: That was really fun.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: That felt like I feel weird. I don't try to
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: take pictures of celebrities.
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: You don't try.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: Sometimes you can help myself. First of all, I have
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: a fun It's like a photo of Anakin Skywalker getting
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Kevin's number. No, he gave me his number. Sorry, he
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: gave you his He gave you Oh so then that's
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: even better. So you could just text him.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: I do.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: By the way, I don't remember that story of me
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: in this car, but the fact that I looked cool
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: to him, that's a big deal.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: Every guest we had today was amazing. The force was
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: strong with Hayden definitely felt it. He was really leaning
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: on my dad from Blueie.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: Kevin got his number.
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: Were pretty incredible, and then the cast of cast of
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: Frozen one, two three was phenomenal, so exciting, Jennifer Goodwin
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: and Kate were fantastic. This has been my favorite episode
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: outside of Who the episode with my wife.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: That's that's it, obviously, obviously, what's your favorite episode? For sure?
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: Hey there, we're the Jonas brothers. You're watching Disney Channel.
- 1:03:11Speaker 8: All right?
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: Not not byey bye
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: M
