- 0:13Hello you guys. Welcome back to another episode of the hawk Rol Energy Podcast.
- 0:18I'm your host, Kaylee, and this is your weekly reminder that it's
- 0:21a new day, a new week, a new mindset, and another day
- 0:24for you to become the hawk Rol Energy you want to attract. Hello you
- 0:28guys, Happy Tuesday. It is June thirteenth. Why do I feel like
- 0:36this year is a lying by already? Like we're already halfway through twenty twenty
- 0:41three. That blows my mind saying that out loud, And yeah, I'm
- 0:48just praying that the summer doesn't fly by. I feel like May just went
- 0:54by so fast, and I already feel like June is going by fast.
- 0:56So anyways, I always enjoy summertime, but it makes me always so sad
- 1:00to see how fast it goes by. But anyways, still can't believe you're
- 1:04already halfway through the year. That's crazy to me. But welcome to another
- 1:10episode this week. This episode, I thought I would talk about how I
- 1:15personally have a successful week. And I'm not saying that every single week is
- 1:19perfect and every single week is a success, But if I were to have
- 1:25a successful week, these are all the things that I would prioritize for starting
- 1:30my week each day all that. So we're going to talk about that,
- 1:34and we're also going to talk about how I start a new month. What
- 1:38are my non negotiables when it comes to starting a brand new month, Things
- 1:42that I always do that make me feel like I'm in the right headspace going
- 1:47into a new month. So let's get into this episode. Okay, So
- 1:51we're starting a new week this week, and I want to talk about things
- 1:55that I do every single Monday, because Monday is probably my busiest day of
- 2:00the week by far. Like my mom calls me and she said, okay,
- 2:04like, did you want to come over today? I'm like, absolutely
- 2:07not, Mother, I love you, but I do not have the time.
- 2:09Mondays are craziness for me. I wake up and the day just flies
- 2:15by because I'm mother, running errands, I'm doing stuff for work all that.
- 2:19So Mondays are always a crap show for me. But I do strongly
- 2:24believe that Mondays are the most important day of the week, and I make
- 2:29sure that it's the most successful day. That way, I have everything categorized
- 2:34and done on the Monday. That way my week can be successful. So
- 2:38the first thing I do every single Monday morning, is I organize my schedule.
- 2:44And what I mean by that is I like to plan out my entire
- 2:46week, and I have a planner and I use that on a daily basis.
- 2:52But I wouldn't say I use that to plan out my week. I
- 2:54actually use the notes on my iPhone. So I will write out Monday,
- 2:59Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and I will
- 3:01plan out everything that's happening this week, whether I have appointments, if I
- 3:06have anything family related that I have to attend, if I have, you
- 3:09know, something that I just have been needing to get done, and then
- 3:14stuff when it comes to work as well. So I really prioritize my work
- 3:17schedule as I work for myself, so I really need to manage. Okay,
- 3:22what days am I focusing on what for filming content? What days am
- 3:27I recording the podcast, editing the podcast, creating content for YouTube? All
- 3:32that, there is a lot of social media channels to manage, so I
- 3:38always need to make sure that I'm setting myself up for the week, knowing
- 3:40what needs to get done each day in order for my work schedule to flow
- 3:46properly strategically. All that. So That's what I do when it comes to
- 3:51my work and appointments and all that. I also use the app on my
- 3:54iPhone, the reminders, especially for appointments. I always find when I meet
- 4:00with my accountant, for an example, or if I need feel my nails
- 4:02done, my eyebrows done, all that doctor's appointment, I always put in
- 4:06my reminders. That way, it notifies me twenty four hours in advance,
- 4:11and that way I know going into the next day that I have to get
- 4:15this done and it's not like something that's just thrown at me last minute.
- 4:18I hate when I get thrown last minute plans. That's one thing about me
- 4:23is my friends text me saying, hey, what's everyone doing tonight? Like,
- 4:27obviously I'd like to try and make it a priority and spend time with
- 4:29them. But I'm that kind of person where I'm like, I need like
- 4:32planning ahead, Like I need to be notified ahead of time. As much
- 4:36as I'd like to spend time with my girls, I am a planner and
- 4:40I just need to know at least twenty four hours in advance as to what
- 4:45is happening. That's just something that works for me. I feel like if
- 4:46something just gets thrown at me. My whole day, my whole work schedule
- 4:50just gets out of whack, and then I feel out of whack. Right,
- 4:54So I'm all about planning, I'm all about scheduling. So yeah,
- 4:58that's what really works for me to start my week is just making sure I
- 5:01have an organized schedule and know what I have to prioritize and all that throughout
- 5:06the week. When it comes to like adds for an example, like work
- 5:12for me is obviously filming personal content is technically work for me, but I
- 5:16also have another side to making income, which is partnering with brands, so
- 5:20I have to make that a priority as well. When filming content and making
- 5:24sure that you know, if there's due dates that are set for the week,
- 5:28I need to make sure that I'm filming the content ahead of time and
- 5:30giving myself enough time to edit the videos that need to be submitted on a
- 5:34certain date. So that's kind of how I organize my work schedule, appointments,
- 5:41all that. And then the next thing I do is I like to
- 5:44create a workout schedule. So as you guys know, one thing that's extremely
- 5:48important for me is to make sure I get movement in every single day.
- 5:54I personally find moving your body every single day is so important. It really
- 5:58affects my mental health if I don't move my body in some ways. So
- 6:01on days where I don't really do a workout, I'll go for a walk,
- 6:05and then on the days that I'm working out, obviously it's all good
- 6:10in the schedule. So basically I will do the same thing as what I
- 6:13did with my work and planning schedule for the week is just right, Monday,
- 6:16Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and then
- 6:18I write the days of what kind of work it's I'll be doing for each
- 6:21of those days. So I always rotate between pilates, you know, long
- 6:26walks, runs, spin classes, all that. So that's really how I
- 6:31base that around. And then I also kind of base my workout schedule based
- 6:35off my work schedule, right Like, if there's stuff that I have to
- 6:39get done that you know, I'm not going to have time to do a
- 6:42forty minute pilates class, Okay, well then I'm going to have to maybe
- 6:46go for a walk that day, and I can go for a walk later
- 6:47in the day instead of the morning. Right. I always try and get
- 6:50all of my movement in early in the morning. That way I get a
- 6:54workout done before I start my work day. That's just what personally works for
- 6:58me. But I find create a workout schedule ahead of time just makes the
- 7:01world a difference. And it also I find it holds myself accountable and keeps
- 7:06myself motivated knowing that this is what I have to get done for the day.
- 7:10Like if I don't schedule or plan anything, then I like I have
- 7:15nothing to look forward to or motivate myself towards, if that makes sense.
- 7:18So people are always like, Kille, how do you stay so motivated?
- 7:21How do you stay so productive? I honestly believe that it comes with planning.
- 7:25Like planning and setting these goals for yourself for the week is what's going
- 7:29to motivate you to stay productive and get that stuff done. So those type
- 7:32of schedules for me work best, and it's something that I strive to do
- 7:39every single Monday morning. So after I've done my workout schedule, after I've
- 7:42organized my entire work week and all that, I always do a food menu,
- 7:48grocery list all that. I always like to go through my fridge and
- 7:53my pantry just to see what do I need for dinners? What do I
- 7:56need for breakfasts, lunches, all that snacks and allows me to figure out
- 8:01my grocery list. I always try and make sure that I'm not overspending in
- 8:05groceries. There's times where you know, I don't do that, and then
- 8:11my fridge is literally overwhelmed, like with so much food, food going bad,
- 8:16all that, and I hate, absolutely hate it when food goes bad
- 8:20in my fridge. We don't eat it and I have to throw it out.
- 8:22Obviously that's a waste of money. And it just shows that planning ahead
- 8:26of time makes the world a difference and allows you to not waste money.
- 8:31And yeah, I don't know. I just find it's so important to look
- 8:35through your fridge before you leave to the grocery store, just to know exactly
- 8:39what you need. There's been times where I just, you know, go
- 8:41and just take a guess as to what we need, when the reality is
- 8:45I'm sending Zach out three days later picking up the stuff that I missed,
- 8:48right, So it's just important to create a grocery list and just break it
- 8:54down into like produce, proteins, snacks, etc. So, yeah,
- 8:58that's just some thing for me that works, and again I do that on
- 9:01the notes on my phone. I do a lot of my planning through my
- 9:05phone just because I'm always on it for work and all that. And I
- 9:07know some people like to do it on a piece of paper. If that
- 9:09works for you, great. Just for me, it works best if it's
- 9:13on my phone. I can see it, it's there, it reminds me,
- 9:18and that's how it works for me. And then another thing I do
- 9:20is after I've broken down my produce proteins and snacks that are like staples in
- 9:26our everyday meals and such like that, I'll then look at Pinterest for other
- 9:31dinner inspo and then add on those ingredients to the grocery lists that will have
- 9:35to pick up that we don't typically have in our pantry or our fridge.
- 9:39So, for an example, some of the dinner recipes that we love to
- 9:43make on a weekly basis that I always buy is like chicken wings. I'm
- 9:48laughing because I find it funny. The reason why we've been doing chicken wings
- 9:52is because I have been really over chicken breasts lately. You know when you
- 9:56just overeat something and you're just not enjoying it anymore. That is me with
- 10:01chicken breasts right now. I hate chicken breasts currently, so I've completely stopped
- 10:07buying it. And I was researching different ideas as to how to include like
- 10:11lean proteins into your you know, dinner recipes, lunch recipies, all that,
- 10:16and I saw chicken wings as like a healthy alternative, and I'm like,
- 10:18oh my goodness, like why did I never think of that? So
- 10:22Zach and I got chicken wings and we've been doing it probably for two months
- 10:26now. We literally just make chicken wings with sweet potato fries, like in
- 10:31the air fryer, with vegetables on the side. It's the easiest dinner.
- 10:33It tastes so good. We literally just put salt and pepper on the wings.
- 10:37We don't even put any sauce on it, and it's just so good.
- 10:39I don't know, it's just so easy. It's so good. There's
- 10:43always extra for either for him or for I for lunches the next day.
- 10:46So that's something that we've been doing on a weekly basis. So that's something
- 10:50I know every time I go to the Gergey store, I'll pick up a
- 10:52thing of chicken wings. I've been on my taco kick lately, so I
- 10:56always love to make healthy taco bowls or just taco wraps. Peta pizza is
- 11:01always a good one. I always just love getting peta bread and just putting
- 11:05on like pizza toppings like cheese, peppers, protein, all that. I
- 11:09love pizza, so if I can create a healthier way of that, I'll
- 11:11just do pia pizza. I also love pasta, so we'll always try different
- 11:16pasta dishes. And yeah, those are just like some of the stables I
- 11:18can think of right now that we eat on a weekly basis for dinner that
- 11:22I just like know that I have to pick up at the grocery store.
- 11:24But one thing that Zach and I have been doing on my TikTok, and
- 11:28I'm also doing it on my Instagram as well, is we're starting a healthy
- 11:33dinner series where every week we try a new healthy dinner recipe. So,
- 11:37if you guys follow me on Instagram, I made a question box a few
- 11:41weeks ago asking you guys what was your favorite healthy dinner. And so we've
- 11:46been using some of the healthy dinners that you guys make and we've been putting
- 11:50it into our little series that we're doing right now, and trying different healthy
- 11:54recipes, and one of the ones that we tried last week that you guys
- 11:58recommended was a salmon bowl, which I think it was a famous one on
- 12:01TikTok. I can't remember who made it, but it's literally just salmon in
- 12:07the air fryer with basmati rice and then the toppings are like avocado, cucumbers,
- 12:11carrots, with like a spicy mayo on top. It was so good,
- 12:16you guys highly recommend trying it. I am not a salmon girl,
- 12:20like I really don't like salmon, and I really enjoyed that. So if
- 12:24you don't like salmon, I highly recommend putting salmon in the air fryer.
- 12:26It was really really good. I'm trying to experiment with different proteins. I'm
- 12:31very good at trying new things, but sometimes there is certain things that I'm
- 12:35not a huge fan of, Like I'm not the biggest fan of seafood,
- 12:39but I will try certain things if there's certain things in the recipe that are
- 12:43like, like I love avocado, I love spicy mayo. Like the only
- 12:46thing I didn't really like how that was the salmon. But when we made
- 12:50that recipe, I enjoyed it. Because there's other things surrounding it that I
- 12:54liked. So I don't know this is your sign to try new things.
- 12:58I think I'm always open to trying different things, but samon is something that
- 13:03I don't typically eat. But I'm really happy we tried it. I really
- 13:05liked it. So we are going to be doing Greek bowls this week,
- 13:09which I'm very excited about. We're doing chicken kebabs with t Zeki Dill rice
- 13:15all that. I'm so super excited about it. We're actually making it tonight.
- 13:16So I highly recommend going on Pinterest searching healthy dinner recipes just to give
- 13:22you some inspo and try and change things up. I find it's fun to
- 13:26try different dinner recipes and not stick to the same weekly staples. Like obviously,
- 13:30the ones that I mentioned above were ones that we try all the time,
- 13:33but I like to try different things. And yeah, this healthy dinner
- 13:37series that we're doing on TikTok and Instagram has really inspired me just to keep
- 13:41trying new healthy recipes. And yeah, I'm excited to keep the series going,
- 13:46so make sure to follow along if you guys are interested in checking that
- 13:48out. Another thing I do to set myself up for a successful week is
- 13:54meal prepping. So I used to be that girl that mealpped all my lunches,
- 14:01all my foods, all my green juices for the week, all that.
- 14:03And don't get me wrong, I still meal prep in a specific way,
- 14:09but I do not meal prep my lunches anymore since I left my corporate
- 14:13job, and the reason being is that I've realized that I really don't enjoy
- 14:16eating the same thing every single day for five days, like it just doesn't
- 14:22work for me. And now that I work at home, I can make
- 14:26anything I want during my lunch break, but I try and prep these foods
- 14:30in my fridge. That way, it makes it easy inconvenient for me while
- 14:33I'm here for my breakfasts in the morning, for my lunches, all that
- 14:37dinners. So what I do is I wash all my fruits and vegetables,
- 14:43I cut the stuff up that has to be cut up, dry it,
- 14:46all that, and then I use these food storage containers that allows my fruits
- 14:50and vegetables to stay fresh. I posted it on my Instagram before. They're
- 14:54from Amazon. They're great, They're not that expensive, and I find it
- 14:56just allows my produced stay fresher for a longer period of time. So that's
- 15:03kind of what I've been doing for my meal preps. Sometimes I will prep
- 15:07chicken breasts. I'll put in the oven, put salt and pepper, throw
- 15:11it in the fridge, and I'll use it for like chicken salads, chicken
- 15:13wraps all that. But as I said, I haven't been enjoying chicken breasts
- 15:18lately, so I have not been doing that. But one recipe that I've
- 15:22shared with you guys multiple times that I will meal prep probably next week,
- 15:26because now that I'm thinking about I kind of forgot that this is something I
- 15:30used to make all the time that I will not get sick and tired of
- 15:33just because I love it so much. Is a passa salad. It always
- 15:37hits during the summertime. Putting feta cheese with some like olives, tomatoes,
- 15:43cucumbers, just a good Greek passa salad is my favorite thing to meal preps.
- 15:50So anyways, I've shared it before in a video. It's probably the
- 15:52only meal prep that I actually enjoy that I will eat for five days straight.
- 15:56I don't know, just something that I can't do anymore, Like I
- 16:02just can't do the same meal for five days in a week, So doing
- 16:04what works for me, doing what I enjoy, and still being able to
- 16:08get some meal prep in by washing the fruits and vegetables, cutting them,
- 16:11prepping them all. That makes it easy to make dinner, make my lunches,
- 16:15and my breakfast for the week. One thing that I still do meal
- 16:19prep is my green juices for the week. I've actually had some nutritionists come
- 16:26at me saying that green juices shouldn't be in your fridge for more than two
- 16:30days, But then I've had other nutritionists say that you can have it up
- 16:34to four to five days. So I don't really know what the exact days
- 16:40or amount of days you can have these green juices fresh for I'm just doing
- 16:45what works for me. At the end of the day, I'm still doing
- 16:48something that's healthy for myself and I find it's working. I enjoy it.
- 16:55As long as it's working, I think that's all that matters. And it
- 16:56tastes good and I'm not getting sick, I think that's fine. But anyways,
- 17:02I do all my grain juices in a blender. I do not use
- 17:04a juicer personally. For me, I'd like to keep the pulp in the
- 17:11drink, so when you use a juicer, you're removing all the fiber and
- 17:14health to your grain juice by removing all that pulp. So I personally use
- 17:18the blender, and my blender works really really well, to the point where
- 17:22like I can't even taste the pulp in the drink, Like it just doesn't
- 17:26exist. So for me, it doesn't bother me. I'm enjoying it.
- 17:30And I put them in reusable bottles that I got from Amazon. They're just
- 17:33like glass like bottles. I put them in the fridge and they last four
- 17:38days. So I usually prep them on the Monday, and then I have
- 17:41one for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and I've noticed by like
- 17:45Saturday, that's when they start to go bad. You just know, based
- 17:48on the taste of something, if it obviously goes bad. So that's what
- 17:52works for me. I love it so so much. The recipe I will
- 17:55be sharing this week on my Instagram. But it's just something I've been doing
- 17:59for so long, same recipe. It works for me. I've been prepping
- 18:02it for a long time, and yeah, I just like to do that
- 18:06every single Monday. That way, I'm good for the week. If I
- 18:08don't have the time to make green juice, because obviously there's weeks where you
- 18:11know, I could be busy, it could have been gone all weekend,
- 18:15I didn't have the time to get groceries all that. If I don't have
- 18:18time to do during the week, I will do athletic greens or just another
- 18:22green supplement and I'll drink that before breakfast. I always love to have greens
- 18:26in the morning. It's just something that I like to start my day doing
- 18:29that. So that's like my non negotiables for starting a new week when it
- 18:36comes to starting a typical day during the week, like every day, I
- 18:40start my day just moving my body. So as I mentioned, I start
- 18:44my mornings with a workout. I always feel more motivated when I wake up,
- 18:49change out of my pajamas, immediately into my workout clothes, get a
- 18:52workout done. Boom. I already feel like, right there, I'm going
- 18:56to have a good day just because I've gotten out of my pajamas, I
- 18:59put it on a work out set, I've gotten the workout done. I've
- 19:02already motivated myself to get done what I had to get done, if that
- 19:04makes sense. So I always find just immediately changing out of my pajamas is
- 19:08the best way to start my morning, because honestly, if I didn't do
- 19:12that, I honestly think I'd be in my pajamas all day. Like I'm
- 19:15not even over exaggerating, Like on the weekends when I, you know,
- 19:18don't do a workout, I'm in my pajamas till one pm. I'm not
- 19:22even over exaggerating. So I just like to do that. I find it's
- 19:25the best way to start my morning. And then, as I mentioned,
- 19:27I always like to have greens and a healthy breakfast. I always like to
- 19:32plan out my day with my planners, so I will use a planner for
- 19:34my day to day tasks just to keep myself stay on track, know what
- 19:41I have to get done all that. If I don't use my planner,
- 19:44I feel like my days are really out of walk. I'm just doing things
- 19:47on different schedules. I don't know, I'm not in the right headspace if
- 19:51I'm not writing things down and planning it out strategically and then journaling. I
- 19:56always love to journal in the morning, just you know, writing my daily
- 19:59afformations right, things that I'm grateful for, things that I want to get
- 20:02done for the day, self care acts, all that. That's something that
- 20:04I really try and prioritize every single morning. That's like a typical day for
- 20:08me, and well not a day, I guess a typical way to start
- 20:11my day every morning. Those are like the four things that I make my
- 20:15non negotiables just to set myself up for a successful day. Okay, so
- 20:19now let's talk about starting a new month. When it comes to starting a
- 20:25brand new month, there's one thing that I will always make a priority no
- 20:30matter what, because I am very OCD when it comes to cleaning. I
- 20:36need my house to be super clean going into a new month. I don't
- 20:40know why. I just feel like if my house is clean, I have
- 20:44a clear mind. And yeah, I don't know like Zach is not like
- 20:49that at all. I feel like Zach just, yeah, he doesn't care
- 20:53if there's a bit of a mess. Like me. On the other hand,
- 20:56I'm very like everything needs to be in the spot that it's supposed to
- 21:00be in, very organized, and I just like my house to be very
- 21:03clean. So every month I'll do a little reset, typically on the Sunday.
- 21:07And every Sunday I would say I do a little reset, but I
- 21:12wouldn't say I go into the extreme measures of like a five hour Sunday reset.
- 21:18There's some people where I know they're deep cleaning their whole entire house.
- 21:21Like, obviously I love to have a clean house, but I personally like
- 21:25to break down my Sundays and do different parts of the house. Because I
- 21:29have a three level home, it's definitely not you know, as small as
- 21:33an apartment. It's much bigger than that. So I felt like when I
- 21:37was in the apartment, it was definitely easier to do all in one day.
- 21:40But because I have three levels to manage, it's definitely not easy.
- 21:44I don't have a cleaning lady, nothing like that. I do it all
- 21:47myself. So what I'll do is that one Sunday I'll be like, Okay,
- 21:51let's just focus on the upstairs, all the bathrooms, all the rooms,
- 21:55vacuuming them, cleaning the bed frame, cleaning the bedding. It adds
- 21:59up, right, holding the clothes from our dirty closets, making sure everything's
- 22:02in the dresser, you know, cleaning the showers, the toilets, everything
- 22:07it adds up. And doing upstairs alone probably takes me and Zach two hours,
- 22:11And you know what, I think that's enough personally, I don't think
- 22:15we need to be spending half a day cleaning our entire house. I mean,
- 22:18it's also your Sunday. You also want to rest and enjoy your Sunday
- 22:22before going into a busy work week. So I try and not do more
- 22:25than two to three hours of cleaning on a Sunday. I feel like that's
- 22:27the maximum amount of time I'd want us to spend the time cleaning. My
- 22:33parents also always ask us to go over on Sundays because we do Sunday dinners
- 22:36with them, and going into the summer, I want to be able to
- 22:40spend time with my family and enjoy the nice weather outside, going outside for
- 22:44walks, enjoying you know, being by the pool, getting its hand,
- 22:47all that. So I'm not gonna prioritize cleaning my house for five hours over
- 22:51a nice sunny day. I'd rather be outside and enjoy the sunshine while at
- 22:55lasts, since summer goes by so fast. So anyways, I try and
- 23:00break up my Sunday resets by doing different parts of the house. And that's
- 23:06what I'll do, same thing starting a new month. I'll figure out,
- 23:08Okay, this Sunday, you know, last Sunday we did the whole upstairs.
- 23:11Okay, I'm going to clean the whole entire main floor, scrub the
- 23:15floors, dust, windeck the mirrors, all that. So that's sympically how
- 23:18I break up my Sunday resets. But going into a new month, there's
- 23:23just something about a clean house that just makes me feel so good going into
- 23:27the month knowing that everything's clean, everything's fresh. We're starting the month off
- 23:33on a high note. Okay. The second one is setting monthly goals.
- 23:37You guys know that I cannot stress the importance of setting goals on a monthly
- 23:44basis. It allows you to stay motivated. Like if I didn't have goals
- 23:48each month, I honestly feel like I wouldn't be like where I am today
- 23:52because I am very work driven. I'm in love with my career. This
- 23:57is what I wanted for so long. And I say two out of the
- 24:00three goals that I set for myself each month our work related goals, because
- 24:04I'm very work driven. And then usually one would be a personal goal,
- 24:08like just something that I need to improve on, because I always feel like
- 24:12there's things that everybody can improve on, and usually that's just like personal habits
- 24:17and all that. So I always like to also review what happened last month,
- 24:21like what did I do that I could do better at this month,
- 24:23whether it's work wise or personal habit wise. So yeah, that's what really
- 24:27works for me. Every single month. I find setting goals for myself it
- 24:30allows me to stay motivated and allows me to want to achieve that goal.
- 24:34I don't know, like I just like I want to be able to achieve
- 24:38those things for myself. And let me tell you. I need to tell
- 24:41you guys something, something that I saw yesterday that I noticed and I had
- 24:47to share it with you guys. So if you guys know, I'm a
- 24:49big vision board girl. I've been making a vision board for probably three to
- 24:53four years now. What it is is that it's a board with all these
- 25:00images from pinterest of things that I aspire to achieve for myself. For twenty
- 25:04twenty three and going into six months, I was like, I need to
- 25:10review it. I need to see, you know, am I achieving some
- 25:11of the things on my board all that, guys, I want to say,
- 25:17at least fifty percent of my vision board has been completed and that blows
- 25:22my mind that fifty percent of the year we're already in and then fifty percent
- 25:26of my board has already been achieved. So this is why you guys need
- 25:30to manifest things for yourself and do vision boards, because I'm telling you right
- 25:34now, it is so real and it is so truthful. I'm not even
- 25:41kidding. Like. It made me feel so proud of myself knowing that I
- 25:44achieved fifty percent of the goals that I want to achieve this year already and
- 25:47so reviewing it and now going into the next six months of twenty twenty three
- 25:51makes me even more motivated to achieve those goals for myself. So if you
- 25:56guys created a vision board, I highly recommend checking it out since we've reached
- 26:00the sixth month mark and see if you have achieved, you know, fifteen
- 26:07thirty percent of your vision board and see what you need to achieve the rest
- 26:11of twenty twenty three. Okay, Another thing I like to do every single
- 26:14month when I'm starting a new month is a little self care reset. So
- 26:18I always like to do a face mask or even go get a facial eyemask.
- 26:22All that I am all about a good skincare routine. You guys know
- 26:26that I find a regular skincare routine is just important for your skin. But
- 26:33I just also just like to prioritize self care going into a new month because
- 26:37it's a perfect way just to like unwind, relax, and just like reset
- 26:42yourself for the new month ahead. Okay, And then the last thing that
- 26:47I like to do going into a new month is I like to plan something
- 26:49I look forward to. So not every month I would say has something super
- 26:55exciting to look forward to. I would think there's some months where you know,
- 27:00I'm busy and booked and you know, a lot to look forward to
- 27:02each month. But there's months where I'm like, there's literally nothing going on
- 27:06this month, Like, what can I do to make this month more exciting?
- 27:08So one thing I did was I wrote down a bunch of summer activities
- 27:14that I've been wanting to do this summer. I did it in the beginning
- 27:17of May or end of April. And one of the things my sister and
- 27:21I have been talking about doing was going to this restaurant in Ottawa that has
- 27:23like a photo booth. They have a beautiful bar, like just a beautiful
- 27:27restaurant, and my sister's been wanting to go for so long, so I'm
- 27:30like, you know what, let's make it date night. So we booked
- 27:33a reservation for next Thursday and we're just gonna have a date night, her
- 27:36and I and I'm looking forward to it. But that's something that I get
- 27:38to look forward to this month because I don't really have anything too crazy happening
- 27:42in June, so that's something that I'm looking forward to. But just know
- 27:45that it could be the littlest thing for you to plan. It could be
- 27:48like a paint night with your best friend. That's something I've been wanting to
- 27:52do, is doing a paint night, and just like a wine night with
- 27:55my girlfriends all at my house. There's also like painting like champagne glasses I've
- 27:59seen on TikTok, which looks really fun. One thing me and my sister
- 28:03like to do every summer is go get ice cream and watch the sunset at
- 28:07the beach. We haven't done that yet. So there's just so many other
- 28:10things to look forward to, and sometimes you know, people are booked and
- 28:14busy, and so you need to plan something each month with your partner,
- 28:18with your best friend, with your girlfriends, and it's just something to look
- 28:19forward to and something for you to look back at. That makes that month
- 28:23memorable is just doing those little activities that excites you and that makes you remember
- 28:29those good times. So that's everything that I personally do when it comes to
- 28:33creating a successful week for myself, a successful day starting a new month.
- 28:37I will say that not every week is perfect, and nobody is perfect,
- 28:44let's be real, but these are the things I strive to do every single
- 28:47day, every single week, every single month in order to make me feel
- 28:49like I'm going into a good month, a successful week all out. So
