- 0:13Speaker 1: Hey everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It is Tuesday. It's
- 0:16Speaker 1: TLC Tuesday. You guys, I hope you're watching on video
- 0:19Speaker 1: because it's a wedding episode and you know what that means.
- 0:22Speaker 1: That means I have on my actual wedding veil from
- 0:26Speaker 1: the year 2000. And if you're watching on video and
- 0:29Speaker 1: you don't know what Kimberly is doing, that makes two
- 0:31Speaker 1: of us. Kimberly, would you like to explain to me
- 0:34Speaker 1: and the people what are you doing?
- 0:36Speaker 2: Where are my flowers? I don't have a bouquet.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Me either. Me either.
- 0:41Speaker 2: I should have brought a plant over. I have so
- 0:43Speaker 2: many plants.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Oh, wait. I've got a bouquet.
- 0:45Speaker 2: I'm ready to start. You just have to say.
- 0:47Speaker 1: You're ready to marry me. And then I'm ready. Hold on.
- 0:50Speaker 1: I found a bouquet. It's a pom-pom. It's an Ole
- 0:56Speaker 1: Miss pom-pom.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I didn't use tissue.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Okay. You've got to use tissue. Which is about right.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00Speaker 1: I've got an Ole Miss pom-pom.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Okay. So now we're ready. Okay, Kimberly, I'm ready. You
- 1:06Speaker 1: look fucking crazy. I'm ready to marry you. Oh, so pretty.
- 1:12Speaker 2: So beautiful. Say our vows. I promised to podcast with
- 1:17Speaker 2: you in sickness and in health, in perimenopause and menopause,
- 1:24Speaker 2: and with trash reality people forever and ever. Whenever Gino
- 1:29Speaker 2: is there, I will be there. And I will take
- 1:34Speaker 2: him as my couple, even though I don't want to ever.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:38Speaker 2: But that's how much I adore you, and I vow
- 1:41Speaker 2: to you that I will take Gino. Yes.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Are you done? Okay.
- 1:47Speaker 2: I'm waiting for you to say something.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Oh, okay. I vow to you that I will always
- 1:54Speaker 1: be here with you covering these shows, and I will
- 1:58Speaker 1: always laugh at your inappropriate jokes.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Mm-hmm. And.
- 2:03Speaker 1: I will, um, always comment on your beautiful neck.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Thank you. And I will always, um, nevermind when ginger
- 2:11Speaker 2: walks in the room and you yell ginger, I will
- 2:15Speaker 2: love it forever.
- 2:16Speaker 1: And she can't come in. The door's closed. Okay.
- 2:20Speaker 2: And, um, I promise to laugh at all of your jokes.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Because they're very funny.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 2:26Speaker 2: And I promise to always recognize that you are the
- 2:29Speaker 2: host of this podcast and I am merely a guest
- 2:31Speaker 2: host and I will never overstep like I did last
- 2:34Speaker 2: week where I made a suggestion. I was quickly put
- 2:38Speaker 2: in my place.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Nope. No suggestions, please. Thank you.
- 2:41Speaker 2: I will promise to obey because you are my boss here.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm going to put this down because I think
- 2:47Speaker 1: it's just going to make, it's a, It's going to
- 2:50Speaker 1: make noise.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I think I look like a nun or something.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I feel like you look like Mother Mary, the mother
- 2:56Speaker 1: of Jesus, the Immaculate Conception, but Jewish. She was Jewish.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I remember. Jesus was Jewish. Remember? Everybody, hello. I don't
- 3:06Speaker 1: know why you're so mad at the Jews all the time.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Jesus was a Jew.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Well, we've given them plenty of reasons. It's fine.
- 3:15Speaker 1: What?
- 3:16Speaker 2: We're not that likable sometimes.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Oh, you're crazy.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Okay.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Turning all this stuff off on my phone so it
- 3:22Speaker 1: won't interfere. I'm back home, guys. I'm back from the beach.
- 3:24Speaker 1: But don't worry. I'll be going back in two weeks.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I promise to never again make fun of you for
- 3:32Speaker 2: saying that you're not a traveler.
- 3:35Speaker 1: I'm a traveler.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Even though you're constantly traveling.
- 3:40Speaker 1: I'm home for one and a half, two days. And
- 3:43Speaker 1: then I'm going to Mississippi. And then I'm coming back.
- 3:45Speaker 1: And I'm home for a weekend. I'm going back to
- 3:47Speaker 1: the beach. And then I come back. And then it's
- 3:50Speaker 1: time to go to Italy.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Ooh.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Mm-hmm. Going back to Mississippi before that, I think. It's confusing.
- 3:57Speaker 2: What about the New York trip?
- 3:58Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yes. Before I go to Italy, I'm
- 4:01Speaker 1: going back to Mississippi. And I'm going to New York. So.
- 4:04Speaker 2: To meet your listeners.
- 4:06Speaker 1: To meet my listeners and to see my friends.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Yay.
- 4:09Speaker 1: All you guys. Guys, in the Facebook group pinned at
- 4:14Speaker 1: the top, there is a Pink Shade Libra Fest Little
- 4:19Speaker 1: Miss Recap Libra Fest ticket exchange. And there are people
- 4:24Speaker 1: in there that are like, I had two tickets, now
- 4:25Speaker 1: I can't go, which is just what happens. So if
- 4:28Speaker 1: you are still looking for Libra Fest tickets and you
- 4:31Speaker 1: want to meet Kimberly, Keisha, Mary Payne, Amanda, Amy, and Rebecca,
- 4:40Speaker 1: we're all going to be there.
- 4:43Speaker 2: So many... Ladies. So many ladies.
- 4:47Speaker 1: A few husbands, not mine.
- 4:50Speaker 2: So many middle-aged ladies.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Yeah, so many ladies complaining about.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Their plantar fasciitis. It's like sex in the city, but.
- 4:57Speaker 1: But.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Well, that always was kind of middle-aged ladies, wasn't it?
- 5:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it was. It was, but they just didn't act
- 5:02Speaker 1: like it. They liked to wear high heels. I don't
- 5:04Speaker 1: know what kind of magical feats there is, Jessica Parkhouse.
- 5:06Speaker 1: She can wear those shoes.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I don't know. No, she doesn't have plantar fasciitis, obviously.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Obviously. I'm so glad that you moved my sticker to
- 5:13Speaker 1: a prominent spot. Thank you.
- 5:15Speaker 2: I wish it was bigger. It's so small.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I know. That's the biggest size I've got. Also, did
- 5:21Speaker 1: you do something to your van? No. Oh, it's the same?
- 5:26Speaker 2: Same van.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Same murder van. Manifestation. Okay.
- 5:30Speaker 2: All right.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Let's get started. I didn't record for two solid days.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I had two days of no recordings.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I had one day off and bailed on a family
- 5:44Speaker 2: barbecue because it's my one day off. And it wasn't
- 5:49Speaker 2: even a one day off because I spent two hours
- 5:51Speaker 2: working in the morning. So I don't think I have
- 5:55Speaker 2: a day off. That's just no work. Nothing. Yeah.
- 5:58Speaker 1: I mean, I still did some work, but I had
- 5:59Speaker 1: two days of no recording because I did so much
- 6:02Speaker 1: pre-recording before my friends got to the beach. And so
- 6:06Speaker 1: Saturday and Sunday I had no recording. It was crazy.
- 6:08Speaker 2: By the way, we're not complaining.
- 6:09Speaker 3: We're very lucky to be podcasters and to work from home.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Oh, absolutely. I just usually have something every single day,
- 6:15Speaker 1: and I didn't have it. It was magical. Okay, but
- 6:20Speaker 1: here we are. I did just get home about 30
- 6:22Speaker 1: minutes ago. I took a quick shower, snuggled, gave the
- 6:25Speaker 1: dogs big kisses, and here I am ready to talk
- 6:28Speaker 1: about this show. I'm so excited.
- 6:30Speaker 2: It's our wedding day.
- 6:32Speaker 1: It's our wedding day, guys.
- 6:34Speaker 2: I mean, last week we had some of your couples.
- 6:36Speaker 2: This week is all my couples, mostly.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, last week, the weddings, I guess we
- 6:39Speaker 1: just were Debbie and Mito and Shay and Annabelle, right?
- 6:43Speaker 1: I mean, Shay and Annabelle.
- 6:44Speaker 2: And Aisha and Maxwell.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. People, I got a couple of
- 6:49Speaker 1: comments that we didn't comment on Aisha and Maxwell had,
- 6:53Speaker 1: you know, people nowadays when they have weddings, they have
- 6:55Speaker 1: hashtags for their wedding. So that when you post it,
- 6:58Speaker 1: everybody can look for the hashtag. And theirs was hashtag
- 7:02Speaker 1: Aisha to the max.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Because his name's Maxwell.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's pretty cute. But people were like, I
- 7:07Speaker 1: can't believe you didn't comment on that. I was like,
- 7:09Speaker 1: I guess it just didn't even occur to me. I
- 7:11Speaker 1: didn't even notice.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I think they had a big sign. And I think
- 7:14Speaker 2: I first thought, oh, of course the sign is all
- 7:16Speaker 2: about her. It's just about Asha. But then I forgot
- 7:19Speaker 2: he's Maxwell. So it incorporates his name too.
- 7:22Speaker 1: But it was floor to ceiling imposed a picture of
- 7:26Speaker 1: the two of them like embracing.
- 7:28Speaker 2: If it's not my couple, I might be doing something
- 7:33Speaker 2: else on my computer at the same time.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Well, we were just in the car driving when I
- 7:37Speaker 1: was taking the notes, and Dave said, can you hand
- 7:40Speaker 1: me something out of the back seat? He goes, well,
- 7:41Speaker 1: you know, you're working, so wait until you have a break.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I go, oh, I have a break. Put the computer
- 7:45Speaker 1: right up on the dashboard. I was like, it's Katie
- 7:48Speaker 1: and Josh.
- 7:48Speaker 2: I don't care. Yep, it's on my couple.
- 7:50Speaker 1: He's like, what does that mean? I go, don't worry
- 7:51Speaker 1: about it.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Not my circus, not my monkey.
- 7:55Speaker 1: He was getting, like, sleepy. I said, do you want
- 7:57Speaker 1: me to take my headphones out and you can listen
- 7:59Speaker 1: to the show and I can tell you about the people?
- 8:01Speaker 1: He goes, no. Oh, okay. He did not want to.
- 8:05Speaker 1: He'd rather.
- 8:05Speaker 2: That would keep me up. Yeah.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I'd be interested. I would be interested. But let's start
- 8:11Speaker 1: with Katie and Josh. Her friend who did her makeup.
- 8:16Speaker 1: It's not her friend. Wasn't wasn't good.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Better than her normal lipstick routine. Yeah.
- 8:24Speaker 1: It's it's the painting of the eyebrows. A red color.
- 8:28Speaker 1: It's not. If you listen as somebody who has reddish.
- 8:30Speaker 2: I think she dyed them. Does she not dye them
- 8:33Speaker 2: that color? Because the skin kind of is dyed too,
- 8:38Speaker 2: it seems like. And it is like an orange highlighter color.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's not what you do. You do like
- 8:43Speaker 1: a light brown. Of course. I don't understand what she's doing.
- 8:47Speaker 1: But God bless. It's their wedding. There was a big
- 8:50Speaker 1: Reddit thread about them saying that he's been here for
- 8:52Speaker 1: like two years and all she wants to do is
- 8:56Speaker 1: be an influencer. And I'm like, influencer of what? Drinking?
- 9:01Speaker 1: Like she's so, she's not like. like Aisha could be
- 9:04Speaker 1: an influencer because she's so naturally funny on camera.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Totally. So I think he wants to be an influencer
- 9:13Speaker 2: because he's constantly like, God knows, but I don't understand
- 9:16Speaker 2: of what like Brit in America, that could be funny.
- 9:20Speaker 2: It could be, but America things, he just really defends Katie.
- 9:24Speaker 2: That's his whole platform.
- 9:25Speaker 1: He just gets up with the camera really close to
- 9:27Speaker 1: his face. He's like, hello everybody. You're like, Back the
- 9:32Speaker 1: humor up, brother. I don't understand.
- 9:34Speaker 2: But I do think he wants to be an influencer
- 9:37Speaker 2: because there's no other reason he would put up with
- 9:39Speaker 2: this shit. Unless he's a sadomasochist. Is it a masochist
- 9:45Speaker 2: where you like yourself to be?
- 9:48Speaker 1: Yeah, sadism.
- 9:50Speaker 2: That's for someone else.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Sadism is where you like it. You like to get
- 9:55Speaker 1: hurt and masochism. Wait, let's find out.
- 9:59Speaker 2: He's a sadist.
- 10:00Speaker 1: What is a sadist?
- 10:03Speaker 2: Or he has, and I did propose this one time
- 10:06Speaker 2: and you brushed me off. He has that sort of
- 10:09Speaker 2: kink that is to be like shamed.
- 10:14Speaker 1: A sadist is a person who gets pleasure or gratification
- 10:18Speaker 1: for Inflicting pain on others and a masochist is somebody
- 10:22Speaker 1: who likes it. So he likes to receive it. Yes.
- 10:26Speaker 1: If I would have talked through that, I would have
- 10:28Speaker 1: come to it eventually, but no time. Yeah. Okay. Let's
- 10:31Speaker 1: start with Katie and Josh.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:34Speaker 1: You did.
- 10:34Speaker 2: I was corrected.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah, you're right. You're right.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Thank you. I vow to always be right. That would
- 10:43Speaker 2: be my wedding vows. That's why I can't be married
- 10:45Speaker 2: because I always want to be right and no one
- 10:47Speaker 2: would put up with that. So Katie goes into the
- 10:51Speaker 2: bathroom to put on her wedding dress, which I thought
- 10:54Speaker 2: was weird because you've banged half the friend group and
- 10:58Speaker 2: forcibly tongue kissed the other half. But you don't want
- 11:01Speaker 2: these two girls to see you change. Now you're modest.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I think it's more about the presentation of coming out
- 11:09Speaker 1: like surprise. You know, that's.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:11Speaker 2: It wasn't a dress that had a lot of buttons.
- 11:13Speaker 2: That seemed like it would be difficult to help.
- 11:15Speaker 1: It was just a zip.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. So she puts on her wedding dress. It's cute.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I'm glad she didn't do a fake tan, I have
- 11:22Speaker 2: to say, because on another TLC show, Balin Out Loud,
- 11:26Speaker 2: like everyone was getting these fake tans that looked very unnatural.
- 11:30Speaker 2: And I was like, it's okay to be pale on
- 11:33Speaker 2: your wedding day.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, Katie is so pale that at one
- 11:35Speaker 1: point she was dancing in her dress, lifted up, and
- 11:37Speaker 1: you could not even tell.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Couldn't tell the difference.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Because she is just milky white skin. Nicole Kidman style, yes.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Maybe a different color shade of dress would have
- 11:48Speaker 2: looked better?
- 11:49Speaker 1: I think so, too. But something about somebody just wanting
- 11:53Speaker 1: to wear a white dress, I mean.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I get it.
- 11:56Speaker 1: A different shade would have, I think, been better on her.
- 11:59Speaker 1: But I think she just wanted to wear a white dress.
- 12:00Speaker 1: And she felt good in it. So that's really all
- 12:02Speaker 1: that matters.
- 12:02Speaker 3: Good for her.
- 12:03Speaker 2: And she does admit that she has intrusive thoughts about
- 12:06Speaker 2: her body and weight. So she's very happy that she
- 12:10Speaker 2: feels good in it. And I was like, that's what matters.
- 12:13Speaker 1: So.
- 12:13Speaker 2: her friends do her hair and she says, I feel manic. And, um,
- 12:17Speaker 2: I think I'm just going to crash at some point.
- 12:19Speaker 2: And they're like, no, you're going to be fine. And
- 12:21Speaker 2: she says, what, what I, I just have to, I just,
- 12:24Speaker 2: what if I just say like, I'm done and I'm
- 12:26Speaker 2: not getting married. Ha ha. Ha ha. Wouldn't that be
- 12:29Speaker 2: so funny guys?
- 12:31Speaker 1: She's freaking out. She's really freaking out. Yeah.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Sub, subconsciously. I keep thinking that this is the last
- 12:37Speaker 2: man ever. The last penis ever. Um, Not really subconsciously, though.
- 12:43Speaker 1: It's just saying it out loud.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Yes, it is consciously. So meanwhile, Josh's friend is helping
- 12:49Speaker 2: him set up the ceremony outside because there's no one
- 12:52Speaker 2: else there to help. So the friend is like setting
- 12:55Speaker 2: up chairs and arranging things.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Josh is also the, the wedding planner because later on
- 13:02Speaker 1: he's like, can everybody rise for the bride? I was like,
- 13:04Speaker 1: where's the wedding planner?
- 13:06Speaker 2: They didn't have one. So you at least assign a friend.
- 13:09Speaker 2: I feel like, well, the girl that.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Was, the officiant that was standing there should.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Have, but she's with Katie.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Well, still she should have said it. Oh, she got
- 13:18Speaker 1: out of the van with Katie.
- 13:19Speaker 2: She got out of the van with Katie.
- 13:21Speaker 1: This wasn't well planned.
- 13:22Speaker 2: No, exactly. So, um, Josh is, so they're setting up
- 13:27Speaker 2: the chairs like, and the wind is very strong because
- 13:30Speaker 2: it's overlooking the ocean and his hair is just high heaven.
- 13:35Speaker 2: And they're checking if you can hear each other from
- 13:38Speaker 2: the back row. Like if he stands at the front,
- 13:40Speaker 2: which no, and there's no, they didn't get a mic.
- 13:44Speaker 2: So no one's, no one in the back half is
- 13:46Speaker 2: going to hear anything. And you just have to be
- 13:50Speaker 2: fine with that.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I mean, technically they're mics, but. for different reasons.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Well, they're meant for the show, but not, yeah. So,
- 13:56Speaker 2: he sends a nervous text to Katie, like, haha, making
- 13:59Speaker 2: sure you're still good, but you're still coming, is what
- 14:02Speaker 2: I'm trying to say.
- 14:03Speaker 1: He sent it to Danica.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Well, first he sent it to Katie. Oh, he did?
- 14:08Speaker 1: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 14:09Speaker 2: And then he wrote to Danica, and Danica says, she's loopy,
- 14:14Speaker 2: and she's losing her mind, which, why? Way to go, Danica.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Why the fuck would you tell him that?
- 14:21Speaker 1: She's great. She's great.
- 14:23Speaker 2: It's fine. Don't worry. Now he's fully panicking and he's
- 14:28Speaker 2: already one of the, like a nervous British person, like
- 14:32Speaker 2: a Hugh Grant.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Yes. Oh, sure. Yes.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Yeah. You know, stumbling and stuttering and anxious. So his
- 14:43Speaker 2: friend says, Katie is both fight or flight somehow. And
- 14:47Speaker 2: she's just all over the place. I really hope she
- 14:50Speaker 2: shows up for Josh because Josh is so wonderful. And
- 14:53Speaker 2: once again, I was shipping these two. This woman came
- 14:56Speaker 2: all the way from England and she's basically now a
- 14:59Speaker 2: wedding planner.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Why can't they get together?
- 15:01Speaker 2: They would be a way better match. All right, y'all.
- 15:05Speaker 1: If you're anything like me, you've probably spent way too
- 15:08Speaker 1: much money on skincare products that promise everything and deliver
- 15:11Speaker 1: very little. I have a drawer full of things that
- 15:13Speaker 1: I have tried and given up on. So of course
- 15:16Speaker 1: I was skeptical when I first heard about GU. But
- 15:18Speaker 1: after seeing it everywhere online and hearing people rave about
- 15:21Speaker 1: their before and after results, I tried it myself and
- 15:23Speaker 1: now I completely get the hype. It's spelled J-I-Y-U and
- 15:28Speaker 1: pronounced G-U. It is a Korean skincare brand that's built
- 15:31Speaker 1: a cult following because people are seeing life-changing results. This
- 15:35Speaker 1: is a good cult, y'all. Korean skincare has become famous
- 15:38Speaker 1: for delivering incredible results, but also it can be expensive, overwhelming,
- 15:44Speaker 1: and packed with complicated routines. I've seen so many Korean
- 15:47Speaker 1: skincare products, but I'm like, oh my gosh, where to start?
- 15:50Speaker 1: But GU changed that. They've taken the most effective innovations
- 15:54Speaker 1: in Korean skincare and combined them into simple, affordable products

- 17:18Speaker 2: So Josh is standing at the arch by himself waiting
- 17:22Speaker 2: for her. People come in sitting there awkwardly because there's
- 17:26Speaker 2: no ETA when she's coming and He is waiting there
- 17:31Speaker 2: by himself because the officiant is with Katie and there's
- 17:35Speaker 2: no best man or anything. So by himself, the van
- 17:39Speaker 2: arrives because they arrive in a minivan and which is fine.
- 17:44Speaker 1: They did it. Do you think it was, do you
- 17:46Speaker 1: think it was like Uber XL?
- 17:48Speaker 2: It did appear to be Uber XL. I mean, like
- 17:53Speaker 2: I don't need a limo or anything, but like it
- 17:56Speaker 2: is kind of funny because getting out of a minivan
- 17:59Speaker 2: is awkward. The sliding door, you have to crawl out
- 18:02Speaker 2: in your dress.
- 18:02Speaker 1: That's awkward. You have to walk like in an L
- 18:05Speaker 1: shape to get out of the van. You know, like
- 18:07Speaker 1: straight up. Yeah.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Not glamorous. So then he goes, could everyone stand up
- 18:14Speaker 2: for the bride? It's like no one else is there.
- 18:18Speaker 1: He's like, the van is here.
- 18:19Speaker 2: The van is here. The van is here. And the.
- 18:24Speaker 3: So Katie is freaking out kind of in the van
- 18:26Speaker 3: and then outside of the van.
- 18:28Speaker 2: And she's like, I have cold feet. But she's like
- 18:29Speaker 2: kind of joking, but not really. I'm going to marry
- 18:32Speaker 2: the right. Can I just run? Should I run? Wouldn't
- 18:35Speaker 2: that be funny if I ran? And Katie's dad joins
- 18:40Speaker 2: her and he is holding this side of her dress
- 18:45Speaker 2: like this.
- 18:46Speaker 1: So this was very strange.
- 18:49Speaker 2: This is very bunched up the side of her dress
- 18:52Speaker 2: like this to walk alongside her to guide her down
- 18:56Speaker 2: the aisle and give her away. But then they get
- 18:59Speaker 2: to the aisle and the aisle is too narrow for
- 19:02Speaker 2: both of them to walk. So she says, can we
- 19:05Speaker 2: go single file? So instead he hands her her dress
- 19:10Speaker 2: like this and she's holding it like this and he's
- 19:14Speaker 2: walking in front of her. He's going to give her
- 19:17Speaker 2: away by walking in front of her down the aisle.
- 19:20Speaker 1: I was thinking like, shouldn't she go first?
- 19:22Speaker 2: Yeah. She should absolutely go first. And a fucking good
- 19:27Speaker 2: friend would have ran up behind her and.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Held her train. And let her, yes.
- 19:33Speaker 2: What is wrong with these running club bitches? Like, get
- 19:37Speaker 2: behind her. You carry, she is literally like this.
- 19:41Speaker 1: It's, it was very, listen, it wasn't well planned out
- 19:45Speaker 1: that the aisle should have been wide enough for two people.
- 19:47Speaker 1: And that if she's going to have this big train
- 19:49Speaker 1: that's they can't have these like lanterns there that she's
- 19:52Speaker 1: going to knock over. It wasn't well planned out, but
- 19:54Speaker 1: you know, once again, they did it themselves.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Again, I blame Danica.
- 20:01Speaker 1: I blame Danica. I blame her mother. Her mother should
- 20:05Speaker 1: have jumped in and helped a little bit.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Jumped in. I would have helped I would have helped
- 20:10Speaker 2: even if I barely knew her and I was a
- 20:11Speaker 2: friend of Josh. I would have been like, let me
- 20:14Speaker 2: help you with your train. You got to be a
- 20:15Speaker 2: girl's girl. It's like if you see someone in their underwear,
- 20:18Speaker 2: their dress is tucked into their underwear. You jump up
- 20:21Speaker 2: and help them even if you don't know them.
- 20:23Speaker 1: But here's the thing. Is Katie a girl's girl?
- 20:26Speaker 2: No, but I still would have to be.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Yeah, right. They might be like, she tried to make
- 20:31Speaker 1: out with my fiance last week. No. Yes. No.
- 20:34Speaker 2: And me. And me.
- 20:36Speaker 1: And then him again. And then my sister was in
- 20:38Speaker 1: town and that was awkward.
- 20:39Speaker 2: And then my baby, she tried to tongue kiss my
- 20:42Speaker 2: infant and it was just bad. And then I invited
- 20:45Speaker 2: her to my grandpa's funeral and she tried to tongue
- 20:47Speaker 2: kiss him in the casket. And that was super awkward.
- 20:52Speaker 2: So she's not a girl's girl. That is correct. So
- 20:57Speaker 2: he is just so, Josh is just so relieved that
- 21:00Speaker 2: she's there. He doesn't even notice that she's holding her
- 21:02Speaker 2: dress off to the side like the Flying Nun or something.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:06Speaker 2: It's just so awkward. So now all these people have
- 21:10Speaker 2: no mic, so they're talking and no one can hear them.
- 21:13Speaker 2: And she, the officiant says, Katie brings Josh chaos, the
- 21:18Speaker 2: good kind of chaos. Nope, not the good kind.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Mm-mm. Not the fun kind.
- 21:26Speaker 2: He's never had fun. We've never seen him have fun.
- 21:30Speaker 2: And Josh vows, I vow that I will be there
- 21:34Speaker 2: no matter what, no matter how many times you humiliate
- 21:38Speaker 2: me by sticking your tongue down someone else's throat at
- 21:41Speaker 2: a bar right in front of me, I'll be there.
- 21:44Speaker 2: And I will try to understand your Lutheran beliefs because
- 21:47Speaker 2: your mom told me I will go to hell. If
- 21:49Speaker 2: I don't. And that doesn't sound very pleasant.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Katie had already forgotten about the Lutheran beliefs. She literally,
- 21:56Speaker 1: when he said, I'm going to try, we'll try to incorporate.
- 21:58Speaker 1: She goes, Oh, that's nice. I forgot. I forgot about that.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Somebody else sent me a DM.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Even though that was like a major plot line for
- 22:08Speaker 2: three episodes. I forgot about it.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Somebody else in a DM, like if they're so freaking Lutheran,
- 22:12Speaker 1: why didn't they have a Lutheran priest up there?
- 22:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Preacher or whatever they're called.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Pastor.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Yeah. Weird.
- 22:18Speaker 2: So, Katie vows, I vow to stay open and honest
- 22:24Speaker 2: no matter how many faces I want to force myself upon.
- 22:27Speaker 2: I will be open and honest about my tongue kissing. Also,
- 22:31Speaker 2: I wrote these vows in the car, so I hope
- 22:33Speaker 2: they're okay. She says nothing about monogamy, which was like
- 22:39Speaker 2: his main thing.
- 22:41Speaker 1: She says she'll be open and honest. She'll tell him.
- 22:44Speaker 2: She doesn't say... When I.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Tongue somebody.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Forcibly tongue somebody.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I'll tell you.
- 22:49Speaker 2: I will tell you about it. I'm not going to
- 22:52Speaker 2: promise that, you know, you can trust me, that I'm
- 22:55Speaker 2: going to treat our marriage with respect and value you. Nothing.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Because she wrote it in the fucking car, in the minivan,
- 23:04Speaker 2: on the way to the ceremony.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I love how he's like, I'm going to get my
- 23:08Speaker 1: phone out to look at my thing. She's like, oh,
- 23:10Speaker 1: and Danica made me write it on paper.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Yeah. Also, what were those vows that he said in
- 23:15Speaker 2: front of the family that made her mom cry? He
- 23:18Speaker 2: should have said those.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Oh, that was nice. I was like, when? It was beautiful. Yeah,
- 23:24Speaker 1: it was nice.
- 23:24Speaker 2: And they were all sitting around the picnic table and
- 23:26Speaker 2: it was lovely.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Right.
- 23:28Speaker 2: And didn't say that. Anyway, so they both, they did
- 23:31Speaker 2: the best they could. And then they awkwardly kiss, just
- 23:34Speaker 2: no passion, just like her trying to, open her mouth
- 23:37Speaker 2: and tell him and he's doing a proper British kiss
- 23:40Speaker 2: because they did not decide ahead of time what kind
- 23:43Speaker 2: of kiss they were going to do. And it's just
- 23:46Speaker 2: so little chemistry. It's just shocking how little chemistry. So, uh, the,
- 23:53Speaker 2: he says, um, Oh, so then she's like, I was
- 23:57Speaker 2: losing my mind before, but now I'm just so happy
- 24:00Speaker 2: that we're married. And then she tells him to carry
- 24:03Speaker 2: her down the aisle. So, which is, I don't think
- 24:05Speaker 2: that's a thing, but, I guess some people do it.
- 24:08Speaker 1: I've never seen it, but all right.
- 24:09Speaker 2: You're supposed to do it over the threshold. Whatever.
- 24:11Speaker 1: It doesn't matter.
- 24:12Speaker 2: So he lifts her up and carries her. And he says,
- 24:16Speaker 2: you know, when you hear husband and wife, you hear maturity.
- 24:21Speaker 2: And she says, I'm just ready to party. And I
- 24:26Speaker 2: was like, that's the perfect encapsulation of their relationship.
- 24:29Speaker 1: He's trying to be profound. And she's like, can we
- 24:32Speaker 1: get done with this?
- 24:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Itm so i can um i just want to kiss
- 24:39Speaker 1: the can.
- 24:40Speaker 2: We be mature at the party while we're drinking.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Because we have the church hall rented until.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Her version of maturity is like literally not flashing her
- 24:51Speaker 2: dad her boobs i think like her version of maturity
- 24:56Speaker 2: is not having sex with one of his friends.
- 24:59Speaker 1: In the bathroom. Trying to kiss Josh's dad. That's her level. Yeah.
- 25:03Speaker 2: So the party, they go to the party. It has
- 25:06Speaker 2: like photo, like cardboard cutouts of them, but they look
- 25:10Speaker 2: so awkward. And the cardboard credits are standing far apart.
- 25:13Speaker 2: It's like, even the cardboard credits have no chemistry. So they,
- 25:19Speaker 2: it does look thrown together. I mean, but it's fine.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Weddings don't have to cost a fortune. I think it's fine.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Save your money for your house or whatever. So Katie
- 25:30Speaker 2: tells everyone, they walk in, she's like, thank you for
- 25:33Speaker 2: being here. Can I have some wine now?
- 25:37Speaker 1: They're on the stage and it's like, hey, we just
- 25:39Speaker 1: want to thank our.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Guests for coming.
- 25:40Speaker 1: That was your speech.
- 25:41Speaker 2: That's the speech.
- 25:42Speaker 1: And then she was like, thanks for coming. Can I
- 25:45Speaker 1: have some wine? Josh says I had to wait until
- 25:48Speaker 1: I talked to everybody.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Can I do the wine now? And then, so she
- 25:53Speaker 2: just starts chugging. And then they do their first dance.
- 25:56Speaker 2: She's being goofy and he's laughing. Like he thinks this
- 25:59Speaker 2: is funny, but it was so weird. She's doing like
- 26:02Speaker 2: fake ballet moves and stuff. And then they both say
- 26:06Speaker 2: they can be their authentic selves with each other and
- 26:09Speaker 2: the bad and the good. And I was like, well,
- 26:11Speaker 2: you've definitely showed each other the bad. And then she
- 26:15Speaker 2: wants to lick tongues, like kiss each other, like dogs.
- 26:19Speaker 2: So they start to waggle their tongues together and, And
- 26:23Speaker 2: then she tries to lick his face. And then he says,
- 26:26Speaker 2: I don't want to do this. They lick bottoms. And
- 26:29Speaker 2: she says, do you want me to do that? Because
- 26:32Speaker 2: I vowed to be open. Like, I'll try anything in
- 26:35Speaker 2: the bedroom. So do you want me? And he's like, no, no.
- 26:38Speaker 2: I was just saying the dog.
- 26:39Speaker 1: I think she was like, oh, I'll lick your butt. Oh,
- 26:42Speaker 1: this is going to be a new thing tonight. I'd
- 26:44Speaker 1: love to lick your butt. Yeah.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Yeah. And that's how we leave them. But I don't
- 26:51Speaker 2: feel bad for him because whatever he has seen it,
- 26:55Speaker 2: he has accepted it, he has sought it out.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Yeah. All of it.
- 27:01Speaker 1: You get what you get. I don't feel bad for
- 27:03Speaker 1: him at all. Yeah. At all. Okay. Let's move on
- 27:08Speaker 1: to Debbie and Mito.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Oh, my God. Speaking of chemistry. Okay.
- 27:15Speaker 1: The chemistry with these two is just palpable.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Off the charts.
- 27:18Speaker 1: You can feel it just pulsating throughout the hotel. So
- 27:22Speaker 1: Debbie and Mito, they had their first night together because
- 27:25Speaker 1: they consummated the marriage because he was a 41-year-old virgin.
- 27:29Speaker 1: And Debbie says, it was amazing. Wasn't it amazing? He's
- 27:34Speaker 1: a natural. And Mito says, I'm a tour guide. Of course,
- 27:37Speaker 1: I know my way around.
- 27:40Speaker 2: She's like, he knew where to go. And I was like, oh,
- 27:42Speaker 2: so he didn't accidentally put it in the butt.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Put it in the butt. Yeah. And Debbie was like,
- 27:48Speaker 1: was it worth it? And he's like, yeah. And he's
- 27:51Speaker 1: doing that thing that he does where he tries to
- 27:53Speaker 1: act like he's asleep so he doesn't have to talk.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Yes.
- 27:56Speaker 1: It's an age old trick that has never worked once.
- 27:58Speaker 1: He's like, no, I'm just so relaxed now. I'm going
- 28:01Speaker 1: to close my eyes. So the producer asked him, how
- 28:05Speaker 1: do you rate it? The sex. And he goes, oh, so-so. What? What?
- 28:15Speaker 2: First of all, you need to say a percentage because
- 28:19Speaker 2: that's what we expect from the foreigners on the show
- 28:22Speaker 2: is they give us a percentage. Right, right, right. It
- 28:25Speaker 2: was 52% okay for me.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Right. Mm-hmm. Yes.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Why is he saying so-so?
- 28:32Speaker 1: Have you ever had better? Because according to you, you've
- 28:36Speaker 1: never had it at all.
- 28:37Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 28:38Speaker 2: And he's the guy, so it doesn't as much matter
- 28:42Speaker 2: if it was long. It's going to work. If it worked,
- 28:45Speaker 2: it worked, and it should be 100%. Right. You know?
- 28:47Speaker 1: Yeah. So Debbie says, so we took a lot of
- 28:53Speaker 1: photos yesterday. Are you going to post them on social media?
- 28:56Speaker 1: And he, again, tries to pretend he's asleep, and he says,
- 28:59Speaker 1: we'll see. And she goes, you know, you're a master
- 29:03Speaker 1: at avoidance. And he goes, the most important thing is
- 29:06Speaker 1: I'm with you, right? Yes. And the talking head, Debbie says,
- 29:10Speaker 1: Mito says he wouldn't post me on social media because
- 29:13Speaker 1: social media is just for work. And I think that's
- 29:16Speaker 1: baloney because he's posted other baloney.
- 29:20Speaker 2: That's Katie.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Katie. He's posted other women. And I do not like it.
- 29:26Speaker 1: I do not like it. He says he would post
- 29:29Speaker 1: a picture of me once we're married. But here we are. So.
- 29:33Speaker 2: She is, is he like thinking like he's, um, an
- 29:37Speaker 2: Egyptian movie star heartthrob. So you can't write because then
- 29:42Speaker 2: you need the ladies to think you're single so that
- 29:45Speaker 2: they will desire you. So you have a, yes. Okay.
- 29:49Speaker 1: So, um, she goes, which photo do you like? So
- 29:52Speaker 1: she's looking, so I guess the, the photographer has sent
- 29:54Speaker 1: them the pictures on both their phones, right? So she's
- 29:57Speaker 1: showing her phone and she goes, get your phone So
- 30:00Speaker 1: he gets it. He's looking at the pictures. Do you
- 30:01Speaker 1: notice he's only looking at pictures of himself?
- 30:04Speaker 2: Yeah, just my headshot.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Yeah, just my headshots. And then he says, okay. And
- 30:09Speaker 1: then he finds one of her that he guesses will work.
- 30:11Speaker 1: And he says, okay, do I need music or no music?
- 30:14Speaker 1: She goes, it's up to you. I don't care. But
- 30:16Speaker 1: then he does it. He posts like a reel, pictures
- 30:19Speaker 1: of them that says happiest day of my life or
- 30:22Speaker 1: we're married or something.
- 30:23Speaker 2: I thought he was going to put a hashtag of
- 30:26Speaker 2: a fake movie title and then hashtag... On set, set.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Life, just acting.
- 30:33Speaker 2: This is a movie role about a hot Egyptian movie
- 30:37Speaker 2: star who marries an old lady for a green card.
- 30:40Speaker 2: And so people would just think he was doing a
- 30:42Speaker 2: movie shoot.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Just because he's such an actor. So anyway, in the
- 30:47Speaker 1: talking head together, they're trying to talk to them again
- 30:50Speaker 1: about sex. And she is just like, and you know,
- 30:54Speaker 1: it was so great. And I know what he wants
- 30:55Speaker 1: to do. And he just wants to, he just can't
- 30:57Speaker 1: wait to get some more of this. And he just
- 30:59Speaker 1: sort of, you know, was laughing. And then he goes,
- 31:03Speaker 1: you know what I want? She goes, don't say it.
- 31:05Speaker 1: He goes, you know what I want, Debbie? You know
- 31:06Speaker 1: what I want? He says, she goes, I know you
- 31:09Speaker 1: want to have sex in the kitchen so you can
- 31:11Speaker 1: eat at the same time. And he makes a eating.
- 31:15Speaker 1: And then he does like, it does like some sort
- 31:21Speaker 1: of dancing at the same time. And she's like, yeah. Anyway,
- 31:28Speaker 1: I have no high hopes for these two. Okay.
- 31:32Speaker 2: And she keeps trying to kiss him, like in bed.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Yes, yes.
- 31:36Speaker 2: And he even says, enough kisses.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Well, he's done.
- 31:41Speaker 2: And he's like, I did my duty last night. We consummated.
- 31:44Speaker 2: I'm still in the morning breath. I got my green card.
- 31:47Speaker 2: I'm all set.
- 31:47Speaker 1: He's like, we consummated. So now you can't say, we
- 31:50Speaker 1: didn't consummate.
- 31:52Speaker 2: And she's laughing. Imagine you try to kiss your husband
- 31:55Speaker 2: and he says, enough kisses. And... On your day after
- 31:59Speaker 2: your wedding. Yeah, yeah. And you laugh because you think
- 32:02Speaker 2: it's a joke.
- 32:03Speaker 1: She thinks everything he does is so funny.
- 32:06Speaker 2: That's humiliating.
- 32:10Speaker 1: She doesn't care.
- 32:10Speaker 2: She has no shame here.
- 32:13Speaker 1: This whole show has been her being humiliated. She doesn't care.
- 32:16Speaker 1: I will say, we're going to Thomas and Paula now. Now,
- 32:23Speaker 1: we do see some setup going on with the white
- 32:26Speaker 1: letters with Mr. and Mrs. And later we see the
- 32:29Speaker 1: exact same ones at Mallory's wedding.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Well, maybe the show helps with the decorations.
- 32:36Speaker 1: They just, here's our box from Amazon. Do it the
- 32:38Speaker 1: way you will. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Like a PA was sent to HomeGoods and then.
- 32:43Speaker 1: Absolutely. They got a 10% off at Michael's. Yeah.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Oh, God. Okay, so Thomas and Paula. Honestly, I was like,
- 32:51Speaker 2: I'm looking forward to this wedding like it's a funeral.
- 32:54Speaker 2: This is the one I am dreading because I think
- 32:57Speaker 2: it's a huge mistake. I mean, I think many of
- 33:01Speaker 2: them are huge mistakes. This one really should not happen.
- 33:04Speaker 1: I knew they were married because when I interviewed her,
- 33:08Speaker 1: she told me about the wedding. Off mic, she told
- 33:12Speaker 1: me about the wedding, and then she said that the
- 33:13Speaker 1: people from the Queen Mary– had reached out to offer
- 33:17Speaker 1: them a second small wedding without cameras and stuff. If
- 33:20Speaker 1: they wanted to like do it again, but without the
- 33:22Speaker 1: cameras and everything that they would love to have them back.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Yeah. So I was like, wow. So you can do
- 33:28Speaker 1: it twice on the same boat. Okay.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Can you pick a different groom next time? So Thomas's
- 33:38Speaker 2: dad arrives. He drove all the way from Texas, but
- 33:41Speaker 2: not with sassy stepmom.
- 33:43Speaker 3: No.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Would have been very funny. But she has the goats
- 33:46Speaker 2: and stuff.
- 33:47Speaker 1: They never mentioned the mom not coming.
- 33:49Speaker 3: No.
- 33:50Speaker 2: That was a huge plot line. Never addressed.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Never addressed.
- 33:55Speaker 2: So Thomas tells his dad he's nervous. He's not sure
- 33:58Speaker 2: how Paula feels. And the dad says, you pick someone independent.
- 34:02Speaker 2: You don't want a woman that's super needy. So this
- 34:05Speaker 2: is what you want in a woman. And if she
- 34:07Speaker 2: doesn't show up, you don't have to worry about it.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Show up. You've got your answer. Yeah. Yeah.
- 34:13Speaker 2: And if she does, then that means she wants to
- 34:15Speaker 2: try and you'll work on it. So they're like, what
- 34:17Speaker 2: is this?
- 34:18Speaker 1: Is that love is blind where people just don't show up?
- 34:20Speaker 1: Like what are you talking about? Yeah. Yeah.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Then the decision is made for you. Basically. She was,
- 34:25Speaker 2: she made the decision. So meanwhile, she's getting dressed and
- 34:29Speaker 2: having doubts. So many doubts and her family arrives. She
- 34:34Speaker 2: tells them the dinner did not go great. She was
- 34:36Speaker 2: on a bicycle and a very unhappy. And, She said,
- 34:41Speaker 2: I told him I have a plan B, which is
- 34:43Speaker 2: to return to Brazil if things don't work out. And
- 34:46Speaker 2: so she's freaking out. They try to calm her down.
- 34:48Speaker 2: And she asked the little nieces, do you want me
- 34:50Speaker 2: to marry him? Like, should I marry? You would decide
- 34:53Speaker 2: for me, please, because I cannot decide. So and the kids,
- 34:57Speaker 2: of course, say yes, because they love the pretty dresses.
- 35:00Speaker 1: And they want to be flower girls.
- 35:01Speaker 2: They want to be in the wedding.
- 35:03Speaker 3: So she's like, OK, I guess I marry him.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Tell him to be a good boy, though. And not
- 35:09Speaker 2: a little bitch about smells and furniture.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Can I interject?
- 35:14Speaker 2: That would be great.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Interject something here? Yeah. Did you notice that one of
- 35:19Speaker 1: those little girls, the older one, looked exactly like Pete Davidson?
- 35:26Speaker 1: She did. She looked so much like Pete Davidson that
- 35:29Speaker 1: I couldn't look away. And every time they brought on
- 35:31Speaker 1: the screen, I was like, ah, Pete Davidson. The oldest
- 35:34Speaker 1: girl looked exactly like Pete Davidson.
- 35:37Speaker 2: That is so mean. I mean, without the tattoos.
- 35:42Speaker 1: She didn't have any tattoos. I'm just saying her face.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Did she look like she smelled?
- 35:46Speaker 3: No.
- 35:46Speaker 1: I think Pete Davidson is cute. No. I think Pete
- 35:50Speaker 1: Davidson is cute. That's exactly the kind of guy I
- 35:52Speaker 1: would go for, Pete Davidson.
- 35:53Speaker 2: I know. You and Amy.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Oh, my God. We'd be scrapping in the street over him.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 36:00Speaker 1: No, her face looks like you would put Pete Davidson's
- 36:03Speaker 1: face on that little girl. I could not quit looking. Everybody,
- 36:07Speaker 1: please go back and look. When the little girls come
- 36:09Speaker 1: in and she's giving them to be the flower girls.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 36:14Speaker 1: When I first saw her, almost because, like I said,
- 36:16Speaker 1: we were driving, I was going to pause it and
- 36:18Speaker 1: get my husband to look and be like, who does
- 36:19Speaker 1: this little girl look like? But he was driving, so
- 36:22Speaker 1: I didn't want to. But I might do it later.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Do a side-by-side.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Okay.
- 36:26Speaker 2: That might be too mean because she's a child.
- 36:29Speaker 1: The problem is that if I did it right now,
- 36:32Speaker 1: and I was going to do a side-by-side. I don't
- 36:34Speaker 1: think I was. Oh, my God. I forgot to take
- 36:36Speaker 1: this thing out of the corner. We're 30 minutes in.
- 36:38Speaker 1: If you didn't tell me, I had this pink shade
- 36:40Speaker 1: prime in the corner.
- 36:42Speaker 2: I forget which show is prime and which isn't. I
- 36:44Speaker 2: don't know. I'm unapologetically horrible on each.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Tier of your Patreon. That's correct. I was going to
- 36:53Speaker 1: do a side-by-side, but, you know, I've got to get
- 36:55Speaker 1: my phone. I've got to take a picture. There's a
- 36:56Speaker 1: whole thing. But go back and look.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Go back and look.
- 36:59Speaker 3: Okay.
- 36:59Speaker 2: I can't wait. So she, Paula looks gorgeous, I think.
- 37:04Speaker 2: I mean, she's so beautiful. And the wedding planner comes
- 37:07Speaker 2: in and says, you look so beautiful. And Paula says, really?
- 37:10Speaker 2: And I was like, she's the wedding planner. She's not
- 37:13Speaker 2: going to say no. Actually, no. This is, it's my
- 37:16Speaker 2: job to say yes, but no. So she shows up
- 37:20Speaker 2: at the ceremony and I was still shocked even though
- 37:23Speaker 2: I knew it. And she, as she's walking down the aisle,
- 37:26Speaker 2: she says, I see Thomas's eyes shining and And I
- 37:30Speaker 2: was like, I don't, I didn't notice. I didn't see that.
- 37:33Speaker 2: I looked for tears, no tears.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Maybe his eyes were shiny because somebody was wearing cologne. Yeah. Yeah.
- 37:39Speaker 2: It was definitely, it was his eyes watering. And he,
- 37:42Speaker 2: she says he looks so handsome, which I also didn't see, but.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Beauty's in the eye of the beholder. Good.
- 37:49Speaker 2: I'm happy for her. And she says all the doubts
- 37:52Speaker 2: went away. And, um, The Queen Mary captain guy is
- 37:57Speaker 2: the officiant. I love him. He's like, breathe. It's fine.
- 38:01Speaker 2: He did a great job.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I'm a captain of a boat that doesn't move. It's fine.
- 38:06Speaker 2: And Thomas's vows basically were weird. He says, when I
- 38:12Speaker 2: arrived in Los Angeles, I found a lost bird. Wandering
- 38:17Speaker 2: the beaches. She was all the way from Brazil. She
- 38:20Speaker 2: didn't speak English. And I was like, why are you
- 38:23Speaker 2: painting her like this delicate flower that you saved? She
- 38:28Speaker 2: was doing fine on her own. She has a business.
- 38:32Speaker 2: She was visiting. She was making friends on a volleyball team.
- 38:36Speaker 2: She was doing fine. And then he said something about
- 38:40Speaker 2: her being his co-pilot in this grand adventure of life
- 38:43Speaker 2: or something.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Blah.
- 38:45Speaker 2: And then she says, we were friends and something about
- 38:48Speaker 2: manifestation and life is fun with him.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Where? When? Let us know. Let us know.
- 38:57Speaker 2: So more vows, yada, yada, yada. They get married. Afterwards,
- 39:01Speaker 2: Thomas is hugging her mom and saying, you're my mom now. Mommy.
- 39:05Speaker 2: And I was like, that was kind of cute, Thomas.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Why can't you be this way all the time?
- 39:09Speaker 1: He was being cute with her family after the wedding.
- 39:11Speaker 1: And I like that he really does try to speak Portuguese.
- 39:14Speaker 2: He does.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:15Speaker 2: And unlike most people. So he can be likable.
- 39:19Speaker 1: He can.
- 39:20Speaker 2: He got the worst edit possible.
- 39:24Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Just a little whiny bitch.
- 39:27Speaker 1: I think Marissa got the worst edit.
- 39:30Speaker 2: No, that's possible. No, Katie. Katie.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Well, Katie did it to herself.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true.
- 39:35Speaker 1: That's true.
- 39:35Speaker 2: So they go to their room and she is hoping
- 39:39Speaker 2: to see ghosts, which I thought was funny. And then
- 39:42Speaker 2: they joke how he got out of the friend zone.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Because he was in the friend zone and now they're
- 39:48Speaker 2: going to do it.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:49Speaker 2: That was all.
- 39:50Speaker 1: They're going to spider themselves or whatever they call it.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. What do they do? Spider.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Spidering.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Okay. Aisha and Maxwell. It's the morning after the wedding.
- 40:05Speaker 1: And we are to believe that this 38-year-old woman and
- 40:07Speaker 1: this 28-year-old gorgeous man are both virgins.
- 40:11Speaker 2: No, that is not what they said. They said celibate.
- 40:14Speaker 2: They said celibate. I guarantee you they've both done their share.
- 40:20Speaker 2: And then they just haven't done with each other.
- 40:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I think so. So it's the morning after. He's like,
- 40:26Speaker 1: thank you, baby. Thank you for marrying me, sweetie. And
- 40:29Speaker 1: then on the side table, he goes, baby, look at
- 40:32Speaker 1: my wig. These are the kinds of things you make
- 40:35Speaker 1: me do.
- 40:36Speaker 2: He's shedding.
- 40:37Speaker 1: He's shedding. It's all coming out in clumps.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Yes.
- 40:40Speaker 1: And so she's like, you loved it. You loved it.
- 40:42Speaker 1: It looked great. And you loved it. So he goes
- 40:44Speaker 1: in the bathroom and is like picking the rest of
- 40:46Speaker 1: it off. It was glued on. And the producers ask her,
- 40:50Speaker 1: how was last night? Every time I move this thing,
- 40:53Speaker 1: this veil is just falling further and further back on
- 40:55Speaker 1: my head. I keep having to move it. Sorry, guys.
- 40:58Speaker 2: That is her real wedding veil.
- 41:01Speaker 1: It is.
- 41:02Speaker 2: From her actual wedding.
- 41:03Speaker 1: November of 2000.
- 41:05Speaker 3: Okay.
- 41:07Speaker 1: So the producer says, how was last night? She says, well...
- 41:11Speaker 1: According to scripture, the marriage bed is between two people,
- 41:15Speaker 1: so I can't talk about it. He better not be
- 41:17Speaker 1: talking about it. And the producer asked him how it was.
- 41:21Speaker 1: He goes, my night was good. It was great. I'm happy.
- 41:25Speaker 1: First night as a married man, you know, as he's
- 41:28Speaker 1: trying to pull that wig glue off his head. Then
- 41:31Speaker 1: in the talking head, the producer asked her about it,
- 41:33Speaker 1: and she says, try to imagine an elephant and a mouse.
- 41:37Speaker 1: How are they going to come together? Try to put
- 41:40Speaker 1: an airplane... In your car garage. Okay. That's what you
- 41:45Speaker 1: need to imagine. And the producer goes, okay, thank you.
- 41:49Speaker 1: And she goes, you're welcome.
- 41:51Speaker 2: She's like, I think we get it.
- 41:53Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 41:55Speaker 2: I thought you were not going to talk about it
- 41:57Speaker 2: because it's between two people. But B, I think she's
- 42:00Speaker 2: hilarious sometimes without all the tongues.
- 42:03Speaker 1: I do too.
- 42:03Speaker 2: She's so funny.
- 42:04Speaker 1: I do too. I think she's so funny. Because, I mean,
- 42:08Speaker 1: now we got it. It was rough. It was very
- 42:11Speaker 1: rough for her is what I'm understanding. Yeah. She's like,
- 42:14Speaker 1: one night. Thank God I'm leaving tomorrow. So, in her
- 42:18Speaker 1: talking head, she says, you know, leaving like this is
- 42:20Speaker 1: not how anyone would imagine. I'm very sad to leave him. So,
- 42:26Speaker 1: now they're in the car. And when they get in
- 42:28Speaker 1: the car, it is pitch black dark. When they're at
- 42:30Speaker 1: the airport, it is pure bright daylight. So, either they
- 42:35Speaker 1: left at the butt crack of dawn or.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Yeah, like 5 a.m.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Or they filmed overnight. Like, I don't know. So in
- 42:42Speaker 1: the car, she says, what's your favorite memory from the trip?
- 42:44Speaker 1: And he goes, last night. She goes, no, you stop it.
- 42:47Speaker 1: And he goes, that's true. It was all last night.
- 42:49Speaker 1: She's like, oh, you're bad. You're so bad. Get away
- 42:51Speaker 1: from me. And they laugh. And he says, now we
- 42:54Speaker 1: have to start working on the visa. And she says,
- 42:57Speaker 1: the biggest hurdle is going to be to compile everything.
- 43:00Speaker 1: I mean, they've already got it all compiled. Now they
- 43:02Speaker 1: just have to add this document to it, it seems.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 43:05Speaker 1: And probably also the footage from the TV show, maybe.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Well, I bet the paperwork for a K-1 and a
- 43:11Speaker 2: spousal visa are different.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:13Speaker 2: Red tape.
- 43:14Speaker 1: But they still have the documents. Yeah. You probably have
- 43:17Speaker 1: to have airline tickets and photos and birth certificates.
- 43:20Speaker 2: But listen, if it's good weather outside, it's impossible to
- 43:23Speaker 2: work on visa paperwork, as we all know from Chino.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Because if you're in Michigan, you've only got two months
- 43:30Speaker 1: of good weather. So you have to stay outside.
- 43:32Speaker 2: You have to stay. You can't work it.
- 43:34Speaker 1: It's a bad night, maybe. And she says, I don't
- 43:38Speaker 1: know what I'm going to do if he can never
- 43:40Speaker 1: get to the States. But, you know, we're married now
- 43:42Speaker 1: and I don't believe in divorce. So we'll have to
- 43:45Speaker 1: figure it out.
- 43:45Speaker 2: She would move there. Can you see her moving there?
- 43:48Speaker 1: I mean, she's a CVS pharmacist.
- 43:50Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Do they have them there? I don't know. Would her
- 43:54Speaker 1: pharmacy license transfer to an African country?
- 43:57Speaker 2: I don't know. No.
- 43:59Speaker 1: But could they move to a different could they move
- 44:01Speaker 1: to a different African country together?
- 44:04Speaker 2: Yeah. or could he get a visa somewhere else? And
- 44:08Speaker 2: I could like, where do they always meet in, um,
- 44:12Speaker 2: on 90 day Turkey. Remember that one couple that they
- 44:16Speaker 2: had to meet in the middle and they met with
- 44:19Speaker 2: all the cats outside Turkey.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Yeah. Turkey.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Yeah. Um, what happened to that couple? She was so cute.
- 44:24Speaker 1: The Mormon guy. Yeah. Yeah. They're so married.
- 44:27Speaker 2: Oh, okay. Um, Oh, um, eight, Ashley and Manuel RIP, maybe.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Well, that's what she says, but we think they're just
- 44:38Speaker 1: trying to get on HEA. I think they're trying to
- 44:41Speaker 1: get on that. And that's fine, too. Good.
- 44:42Speaker 2: Or last resort. Yeah, for sure.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Oh, last resort, Kimberly. Genius. Okay. Here we go. Fixing
- 44:50Speaker 1: this one more time. So she says she does a
- 44:53Speaker 1: prayer in the airport, and he just nods and smiles like, okay.
- 44:58Speaker 2: I felt like she was phoning in the prayer. It
- 45:00Speaker 2: was very like, you know, in the Even the rabbi,
- 45:04Speaker 2: he zones out at the end.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's just like, you know. Amen.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Please let us go to the things and the paperwork
- 45:11Speaker 2: and the visa. Okay, I'm so tired.
- 45:14Speaker 1: So they're sad. They're saying goodbye. And he says, I'm
- 45:17Speaker 1: going to miss you so much. You're my moonlight. And
- 45:19Speaker 1: she goes, okay, thanks. She goes, I should also be
- 45:23Speaker 1: your sunlight. He's trying to say all these nice things.
- 45:26Speaker 1: She's like, mm-hmm. Go ahead.
- 45:29Speaker 2: She and Marissa just correct every single word their man says.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Yeah. And the talking head, she says, I have to
- 45:36Speaker 1: be strong and upbeat because I cannot show him that
- 45:39Speaker 1: I am weak and upset. He can never see me cry.
- 45:42Speaker 1: But nobody dreams to leave their husband. And, you know,
- 45:44Speaker 1: I'm very sad. And then you have to wonder, too,
- 45:48Speaker 1: where is her family? Did she just leave them at Nigeria?
- 45:51Speaker 2: Did they already fly home maybe and we didn't get
- 45:55Speaker 2: to see it? Where's Rod?
- 45:58Speaker 1: He was on the first flight out of there. So
- 46:01Speaker 1: in the talking head, he says, it's like a dream
- 46:04Speaker 1: when you're eating something sweet and then you wake up
- 46:06Speaker 1: and you don't have it. And this is like, I've
- 46:08Speaker 1: been getting something sweet, but now it's going to be
- 46:11Speaker 1: taken away from me or some analogy. Like a watermelon. Yeah.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Like the watermelon. So refreshing. So they kiss and say goodbye.
- 46:21Speaker 1: And then I just said when they left for the airport,
- 46:23Speaker 1: it was dark and now it's light when she's getting
- 46:25Speaker 1: on the plane. I hate when they do that.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Also, it would be nice if one of them cried.
- 46:30Speaker 2: He was rubbing his nose a little, and I was like,
- 46:33Speaker 2: maybe he's crying. But they're both just not emotional.
- 46:35Speaker 1: They're both just trying to be super strong.
- 46:37Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 46:39Speaker 1: We're going to move on to Marissa and Edward. And
- 46:42Speaker 1: my comment on this is, did you notice when he
- 46:44Speaker 1: was getting ready, he was wearing a wedding ring?
- 46:47Speaker 2: No. Matt Sharp fake out.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Matt Sharp fake out. Maybe it was a redo.
- 46:52Speaker 2: The audio was messed up. And you had to redo it.
- 46:55Speaker 1: Nobody in production would notice. Oh, you're not supposed to
- 46:59Speaker 1: be married yet? Take your ring off?
- 47:02Speaker 2: Once I was on a movie set and we filmed
- 47:05Speaker 2: a whole scene with, I can't remember. I can't remember.
- 47:13Speaker 2: Jessica Biel. And somebody walked in, did a whole scene.
- 47:17Speaker 2: And then the next day, costuming realized that the scene
- 47:22Speaker 2: before when he was walking down the hall towards her office,
- 47:25Speaker 2: totally different suit.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Okay.
- 47:29Speaker 2: And that whole day, they had to reshoot the whole thing. Okay.
- 47:34Speaker 1: That would be a better story if it was more specific.
- 47:37Speaker 2: Sorry. It was from Valentine's Day, I think, maybe.
- 47:40Speaker 1: That movie Valentine's Day?
- 47:40Speaker 2: I'll think it's New Year's Eve. I'll look it up.
- 47:42Speaker 2: I'll figure it out.
- 47:43Speaker 1: I don't know. You've been on so many movie shows.
- 47:46Speaker 1: You could keep up.
- 47:47Speaker 2: So, yeah, so fancy, guys. So she is, Marissa is
- 47:53Speaker 2: freaking out. Her mom, Joanne slash Joan with the gorgeous neck,
- 47:58Speaker 2: thinks it's, you know, the fun of the wedding planning
- 48:02Speaker 2: is over. This is real life now. And I was like,
- 48:07Speaker 2: when has this wedding planning been fun? Again, these people
- 48:11Speaker 2: keep saying they have fun together. I guess that bar class,
- 48:14Speaker 2: they had fun.
- 48:16Speaker 1: Joanne is such an interesting, weird character.
- 48:19Speaker 2: I'm fascinated by her.
- 48:21Speaker 1: Me too. Completely fascinated by her.
- 48:23Speaker 2: I mean, she's a woman who came up from nothing
- 48:26Speaker 2: and married a CEO of David's Bridal and now is
- 48:30Speaker 2: like a trophy wife. Right. And doesn't like immigrants.
- 48:34Speaker 1: That's funny.
- 48:39Speaker 2: She says, I think Marissa is scared. There are so
- 48:44Speaker 2: many flags around. She said there are so many flags.
- 48:50Speaker 1: I was faster.
- 48:51Speaker 2: She didn't specify a color.
- 48:52Speaker 1: I was faster.
- 48:53Speaker 2: But I'm assuming she meant red. I should have made
- 48:56Speaker 2: this my veil.
- 48:58Speaker 1: Oh, my God. That was perfect. You could have made
- 49:01Speaker 1: it your veil for Mallory's wedding. Uh-huh. Oh, my God.
- 49:05Speaker 2: No. Stop. I also was going to use this date
- 49:09Speaker 2: with date line.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Now, what? Hanky. It's a hanky?
- 49:15Speaker 2: Yeah, we're going to send it to make.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Okay. That's okay. The amount of props that we have
- 49:23Speaker 1: laying around are ridiculous.
- 49:26Speaker 2: We're like carrot top over here.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Okay.
- 49:31Speaker 2: Marissa is being just insane. And she's like, I'm so
- 49:36Speaker 2: late right now. I need everyone to hurry up. And
- 49:39Speaker 2: I was so confused by, are you late or are
- 49:42Speaker 2: others late? But then I kind of realized she's waiting
- 49:44Speaker 2: for her dress designer person to help her get into
- 49:48Speaker 2: the dress.
- 49:49Speaker 1: And yeah, late and production late. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 49:53Speaker 2: But she's just, I think she just doesn't know who
- 49:55Speaker 2: to be mad at. So she's just like mad at everyone.
- 49:59Speaker 2: And she just loves being pissed at someone. And she's
- 50:02Speaker 2: also hungry. She likes being miserable. She's also starving. I
- 50:07Speaker 2: don't think her employees like her. I don't know why
- 50:10Speaker 2: they're pretending they do. Her employees? Yeah.
- 50:13Speaker 1: Oh, no, no, no. She walks in. They're like, oh, shit.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Here she comes.
- 50:15Speaker 3: Shit.
- 50:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:17Speaker 2: So meanwhile, Edward is fixing his hair. He's nervous because
- 50:20Speaker 2: he texted Marissa and she did not write back.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Of course not.
- 50:24Speaker 2: And then the mom, Joan, or Joanne, has a stroke.
- 50:30Speaker 2: or her dentures came loose. Cause all of a sudden
- 50:34Speaker 2: I could not understand a word she says. And she,
- 50:37Speaker 2: she drunk. She, she goes, think of all the fun
- 50:40Speaker 2: you're going to have at your wedding. As soon as
- 50:43Speaker 2: she gets your gown on, you'll feel a 100,000. I'm better. Okay.
- 50:50Speaker 1: When I was watching her and I was like, has
- 50:52Speaker 1: she talked to this way the whole time? And I just,
- 50:55Speaker 1: because this is not my couple, I hadn't paid attention.
- 50:58Speaker 1: And she always talks like, I don't know, like something's
- 51:00Speaker 1: in the back of her throat.
- 51:02Speaker 2: They interview her on the fly and she's just like, fine.
- 51:08Speaker 2: It's not happening again. So I was seriously like, did she?
- 51:12Speaker 1: It was like she had some phlegm or something.
- 51:14Speaker 2: She was like, oh, oh, oh. Maybe she had popped
- 51:16Speaker 2: a pill earlier and it like finally kicked in. Zanny.
- 51:20Speaker 1: Yeah, Zanny was kicking in because she's like. I was like,
- 51:23Speaker 1: what's in the back of your throat? Just clear it.
- 51:26Speaker 2: I was like, and then the subtitle said Steven. I
- 51:31Speaker 2: was like, okay, Steven gets your, gets your dress on you. Okay.
- 51:35Speaker 2: You'll feel it 100,000 times better. Okay.
- 51:40Speaker 1: What size was that dress? Zero.
- 51:43Speaker 3: Zero.
- 51:44Speaker 1: Yeah. Zero. And she won't accept anything more than zero
- 51:48Speaker 1: or nothing. Okay. Okay.
- 51:50Speaker 2: So Marissa is wiping her nose and she's like very upset.
- 51:53Speaker 2: And she's like, and I still have to talk to
- 51:55Speaker 2: the officiant. And she said it in a very officiant.
- 52:00Speaker 2: I don't know. And Joanne says, well, it's fine. The
- 52:04Speaker 2: wedding can't start without you, darling. And Joanne says, I
- 52:08Speaker 2: have doubts. My husband and I have many doubts, but
- 52:13Speaker 2: I'm going to support my daughter no matter what. So
- 52:16Speaker 2: then finally Stephen arrives, her Kleinfeld bridal stylist and whatever
- 52:21Speaker 2: that means. And he gets Marissa in the dress, tightens
- 52:24Speaker 2: up the bodice, even though there's just nothing. It's just
- 52:28Speaker 2: so tight and it's so small. Because women like to
- 52:32Speaker 2: feel as uncomfortable as possible on their wedding day.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Especially on your wedding day. Right, right.
- 52:36Speaker 2: And there's also a neck piece. So like she cannot breathe.
- 52:42Speaker 2: It's like that story of the, woman whose head is
- 52:45Speaker 2: tied on by a ribbon yes.
- 52:47Speaker 1: Yes i didn't understand the neck i understand that she
- 52:50Speaker 1: didn't want to wear like a big veil or anything
- 52:52Speaker 1: but but the neck thing i did not get didn't
- 52:56Speaker 1: get i didn't get.
- 52:57Speaker 2: It so confused so marissa says i love my dress
- 53:02Speaker 2: but i still have a pit in my stomach and
- 53:04Speaker 2: i'm not sure that we are going to be married
- 53:06Speaker 2: forever okay great So they're an hour late. They all
- 53:12Speaker 2: get in the limo. They ride with her boys and
- 53:14Speaker 2: the stepdad. And mom Joanne with the well-preserved face is
- 53:18Speaker 2: trying to keep things light. And Marissa's like, I'm not
- 53:22Speaker 2: in a joking mood, mother. And then she does six,
- 53:26Speaker 2: seven to the boys. I was so excited.
- 53:30Speaker 1: Joanne does.
- 53:31Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, that's cute. She's trying to
- 53:33Speaker 2: keep things light, six, seven.
- 53:35Speaker 1: They rolled their eyes. Yeah, they're over it.
- 53:38Speaker 2: Now our grandma is doing it. It was bad enough
- 53:41Speaker 2: when our mom and Mary Payne was doing it. Now
- 53:44Speaker 2: grandma's doing it. It's over. So Edward's mom and cousin
- 53:50Speaker 2: come in to where he's getting dressed. The cousin gets
- 53:52Speaker 2: her makeup on his jacket and he says, oh no,
- 53:55Speaker 2: I'll get dumped before I even get married because he's
- 53:58Speaker 2: terrified of his bride, which is, it's great. It's fabulous.
- 54:02Speaker 1: I'm sure she told him exactly how much that tux cost.
- 54:05Speaker 1: How much is it going to cost to clean it?
- 54:07Speaker 1: And remember, your balance sheet is zero. Just like my
- 54:12Speaker 1: wedding dress size.
- 54:13Speaker 2: Yes. So he is worried because she's usually on time
- 54:18Speaker 2: and she appears to be late and no one's telling
- 54:20Speaker 2: him anything. So he goes into the ceremony and is
- 54:23Speaker 2: standing by himself. No, there was an officiant at the arch.
- 54:28Speaker 2: And he.
- 54:29Speaker 1: You're not going to discuss the officiant's hat? Hang on.
- 54:33Speaker 1: The officiant.
- 54:35Speaker 2: Is dressed like she is in a Dickens novel.
- 54:37Speaker 1: Or Slash. Take your pick. I was like, is Slash
- 54:43Speaker 1: the officiant?
- 54:45Speaker 2: I just kept thinking how mad Marissa was going to
- 54:47Speaker 2: be when she sees how the officiant is dressed. Because
- 54:50Speaker 2: that's going to ruin a lot of photos.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Sure is.
- 54:54Speaker 2: She can just AI that officiant out of the photos.
- 54:57Speaker 1: And again, I was only half watching because it's not
- 54:59Speaker 1: my couple to take notes on. I looked up. I'm like,
- 55:01Speaker 1: what in the hell.
- 55:03Speaker 2: Is on her head?
- 55:05Speaker 1: No. Okay.
- 55:06Speaker 2: So bizarre. So no one's going to address it.
- 55:09Speaker 1: I'm so glad that you noticed. I was like, what
- 55:11Speaker 1: if Kimberly doesn't even notice this? No. What if she
- 55:13Speaker 1: thinks it's fine?
- 55:15Speaker 2: Absolutely not. And our friendship would be over. So Marissa's
- 55:21Speaker 2: mom comes in and the sons come in and you're like, oh,
- 55:25Speaker 2: they're there. Okay. Total Matt Sharp fake out. They weren't
- 55:29Speaker 2: waiting forever, but they are an hour late, but it's fine. So, um,
- 55:33Speaker 2: her stepdad is walking Marissa down the aisle and he says,
- 55:37Speaker 2: it's going to be fine. Go down there and give
- 55:39Speaker 2: him a shot. Just try. Give him a shot.
- 55:43Speaker 1: I didn't know. I didn't know if that meant like
- 55:46Speaker 1: a shot, like a drink or like, give it a shot.
- 55:49Speaker 2: Just give it a shot. What do you have to lose?
- 55:51Speaker 1: Okay.
- 55:51Speaker 2: Just a divorce. Another divorce. It's fine. So Edwards, cause
- 55:57Speaker 2: she knows she's not sure. Like everyone is like, she's
- 56:01Speaker 2: just going to try. That's, Take a leap of faith.
- 56:04Speaker 2: So Edward says when he sees Blondie coming down the aisle,
- 56:08Speaker 2: he can finally breathe and she's the most beautiful bride
- 56:11Speaker 2: and he can't believe it. It's very sweet. He genuinely
- 56:14Speaker 2: thinks she's gorgeous. Yes, he does. Like he loves her.
- 56:18Speaker 2: So I felt like they were standing very far apart
- 56:21Speaker 2: at the aisle. I did too.
- 56:23Speaker 1: That's why I was so noticing the hat because they
- 56:26Speaker 1: were so far apart. Yeah, because she's standing right.
- 56:27Speaker 2: Maybe because her outfit was so like... strange they're each
- 56:31Speaker 2: backing away subconsciously and then there's just like this much
- 56:36Speaker 2: room like you can't you should be able to hold
- 56:38Speaker 2: hands yeah in the middle while you're doing but they
- 56:41Speaker 2: they would have had to be like this they're literally
- 56:44Speaker 2: standing like eight feet apart it was very strange like
- 56:48Speaker 2: hi edward because she doesn't want to be near him
- 56:51Speaker 2: so they speak their vows with a mic which is
- 56:54Speaker 2: The room is quite small, and I'm sure, and they're inside.
- 56:58Speaker 2: I don't think they should have given the mic to
- 57:00Speaker 2: Katie and Josh. And Marissa cries during her vows and says,
- 57:04Speaker 2: I'm deeply honored to be your wife, even though you're
- 57:08Speaker 2: an idiot most of the time. But I promise not
- 57:10Speaker 2: to say that so much. And he starts to talk
- 57:14Speaker 2: and he gets flustered and says, English isn't my first language.
- 57:17Speaker 2: I'm sorry. And Marissa says, they know.
- 57:22Speaker 1: They know.
- 57:23Speaker 2: Let's just keep this going.
- 57:24Speaker 1: This is so embarrassing.
- 57:25Speaker 2: Yeah, they know. And then the officiant is nice and
- 57:28Speaker 2: she's like, just do it in Spanish. Speak from your heart.
- 57:31Speaker 2: And Marissa says, yeah, do it in Spanish. It's fine.
- 57:35Speaker 2: I'm easy breezy. It's great.
- 57:38Speaker 1: She said, I'll understand it. Oh, you're fluent in Spanish now?
- 57:42Speaker 1: We were not aware. Go ahead.
- 57:44Speaker 2: She's so mad. This is not according to plan, speaking
- 57:48Speaker 2: in Spanish. So he says, I'm going to be a
- 57:51Speaker 2: better husband, a better human, a better partner. And she
- 57:55Speaker 2: goes like this. She nods her fucking head. Yes, you better.
- 58:02Speaker 2: Thank you. I'll stay perfect. But I'm glad that you
- 58:06Speaker 2: are realizing that you need to be better.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Yeah. Step it up.
- 58:10Speaker 2: Nods. I hated that nod. And then they kiss with
- 58:14Speaker 2: more passion than Thomas and Paula. And then afterwards he says,
- 58:21Speaker 2: they're standing there and he goes, I'm so excited. You're Mr.
- 58:24Speaker 2: Gomez now. And she goes, not Mr. Try again. And
- 58:29Speaker 2: he says, Mrs. Mrs. And she goes, yes, Mrs. Better.
- 58:35Speaker 2: We'll get there.
- 58:36Speaker 1: She's so mean to him. She's so mean to him.
- 58:38Speaker 2: She can't even stop herself on her wedding day. Maybe
- 58:41Speaker 2: he doesn't care. And maybe he told her, like, correct
- 58:44Speaker 2: me so my English gets better. But I care. And
- 58:47Speaker 2: it's horrible.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Well, now we have Mallory and Rashid. And this is
- 58:54Speaker 1: an example of how to speak to someone correctly who
- 58:57Speaker 1: doesn't speak your language and talk them through it and
- 58:59Speaker 1: be nice.
- 59:01Speaker 2: Well, I haven't finished with Marissa and Edward, but yes, exactly.
- 59:04Speaker 2: And I wrote the exact same thing, how Mallory is
- 59:07Speaker 2: doing it in such a nice way.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:09Speaker 2: It's so. polar opposite of Marissa so they dance at
- 59:13Speaker 2: the wedding the sons seem happy but they're boys so
- 59:16Speaker 2: they're just like it's fine it's cool I guess I
- 59:19Speaker 2: don't know it's fine with Edward here whatever and Edward
- 59:22Speaker 2: I wonder the dad I'm assuming is not there Edward's
- 59:26Speaker 2: dad we didn't see him no Marissa's ex Oh, no.
- 59:31Speaker 1: Marissa's ex is not there. And I wondered if Marissa's
- 59:34Speaker 1: father was still living or if he had passed or
- 59:40Speaker 1: if they just don't get along and stepdad is the
- 59:42Speaker 1: dad now.
- 59:43Speaker 2: Yeah, the stepdad seems like the dad. So Edward tells Joanne, mom,
- 59:50Speaker 2: with the great neck, she, you know, maybe that's what
- 59:53Speaker 2: great neck was named after. Yeah. Maybe it was named
- 59:59Speaker 2: after Joanne Joan. This city founded on the unbelievable age
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: defying neck of a woman named Joan with two N's
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: could be Joanne. We're not sure. This will forever be
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: named great neck Joanne.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Oh my God. That is so funny.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: So he says to her, Edward says to Joanne, everyone
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: in my family thinks you are so gorgeous. And she says,
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: they are so smart. Unlike other people from your country
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: that I assume the, your family seems very smart because
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: they recognize my beauty. And mom says, I was apprehensive
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: about Edward at the beginning, but there's a lot more
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: to this man. did you hear him just compliment me
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: and say that his family thinks I look young and gorgeous.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: We just heard gorgeous. She heard young and gorgeous.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: So now she likes him. All, all he had to
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: do was say she looks fabulous for her age and
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: now she loves him. Um, and then they do the
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: cake thing and they did not, she did not smash
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: the cake in his face as a power move. And
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: I was very glad about that. I was expecting it
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: and I don't like it. Um, He says, I've always
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: wanted a family with kids and a dog and someone
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: who loves me. And it all came true because of you.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: That was sweet.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: So sweet.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: That was very sweet. And she didn't correct him or
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: say anything mean at that moment. That was nice.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Beautiful moment. I'm sure she did after they just cut
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: it out.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: They're not your kids.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: You're not your children. It's fine.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: It's fine.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Okay uh mallory and rosh so we open with him
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: crying in the bathroom and he's saying to his buddy
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: chiat chiat chiat he's saying it's.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: Kind of like jihad but way nicer.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Chihat like fiat like a fiat but a chiat sure
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: um and um He's crying in the bathroom. And so
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: she is saying, like, what's going on? Are you upset
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: about the dad? Are you just thinking too much? He says, yes,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I think I'm just overthinking everything. I miss my mother.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: You know, she's sick. And I will point out that
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: he also is wearing a wedding ring in this scene.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: Do men wear it before the wedding so they don't
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: lose it?
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Not.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: When the women, the ring bearer would have the rings
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: and give it to.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Interesting. Generally, the ring bearer is a small child, at
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: least in the South. And so they don't actually have
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: the rings.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: But the best man. Because you think they'll lose it. Yeah.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: They have it and they hand it.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: Either way, he's wearing, unless he just wears now a
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: ring on both fingers. I don't know. So he comes
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: out of the bathroom and tells her mom that he's sorry.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: And she's like, it's okay. Everything's a big adjustment. It's okay.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: And he just says, I'm so sorry. I just, I
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: miss my family so much. He's just so emotional. And
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: the talking head mom goes, I didn't know what to
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: think when he came out crying like that. But, you know,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: there's a purity and an honesty to him. So I
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: know he's perfect for my daughter. Mom seems nice. She's
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: worked through her demons.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: So the next day, we don't see the rehearsal dinner.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: And then the next day, the two of them are
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: in the car, just greasy like they always are. They
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: just rolled through a grease pit and got in the car.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: They do not wash their hair.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: They absolutely are not into cleanliness.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: They're sharing the last bottle of shampoo where you have
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: to add water to it each time.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Yes. Shake it up.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: Get a little shampoo out. They've been doing that for
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: like three weeks.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: Nobody wants to go to the store. Mm-hmm. And so
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: they're all giddy and like, today's the day we're getting married.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: They're so excited. And so she drops them at the
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: house where like the men are supposed to get ready.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: And then she goes over to the other little house,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: but he's by himself, which is kind of sad. And
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: we see some setup going on in the same white letters. Mr.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: and Mrs. are there. Buy one, get one free at
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Hobby Lobby. So she, her sister Paige is there and
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: she tells Paige, dad messaged me. saying, I saw your
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: pics online. Like you look so happy. And maybe I
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: was wrong about how I feel about him. And they're like,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: sister's like, what are you going to do? She goes,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: I'm not going to message him back. I'm not going
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: to let this ruin my day. Today is about me
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: and Rosh and I'm not going to message him back. Yeah.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: It's too late.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: Too late. Good.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: I mean, I'm glad he's realized, but your racism, xenophobia,
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: like it's too late.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: Too late.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: Unless he drives all night and shows up at the wedding.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: That would be nice.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: But I think that would also be a big gesture
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: that would be distracting from what it's supposed to be about.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: I understand.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: So Rasheed's buddy Chiat comes over to hang out with him.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: And Rasheed's like, I was by myself. I didn't know
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: what I was going to do. I'm so glad you're here.
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: But you should have had Brandy with you. I know.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Brandy could have come. And he says, I'm so excited
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: to get married to my dream woman. And I'm sad
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: that my family is not here, but I'm so glad
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: that Chiat is here with me. So Mallory comes out
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: and shows her dress to the girls. Now, that one
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: friend is there whose name I can't remember, and her
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: sister Paige is there, and her mom is there. Where's Michaela?
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: She has been the whole season, and later on she's
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: in the audience. Why wouldn't she be back there? That's weird. Weird.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: I thought she was like her best friend. I know.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Also, her husband.
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: Is good for, like, was warm to.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: Wren.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Ryan. Yeah. Ryan spelled like Wren.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Or is it Wren? I can't remember.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: Can't remember. I can't remember.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: I think it's Wren. But it's spelled R-Y-N.
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: You're in the South. You should know.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: These are made up spellings. Yeah, I can't.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: So Mallory talks to her mom. And they literally, she's
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: going to ask her mom. She says, I want to
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: ask my mom to walk me down the aisle. They
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: act like this is a horrible thing. The music is weird.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: They make it sound like, Mom, I've got something to
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: tell you. Then they cut to a commercial like it's
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: something horrible. And then she says, I wanted to know
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: if you'll walk me down the aisle. And Mom's like, really?
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: You're like, is she mad? This is very weird editing.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: So weird.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: Yeah, trying to give us fake outs like this is
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: super dramatic.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: And Mallory smiles and is like, of course. And Mom says,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: are you joking? She says, no, I wouldn't joke. She
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: hugs her. They cry. And it's all great. And I
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: was like, why were they trying to make this out
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: like it was a horror movie?
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: Yeah. Michael Myers is going to come in and kill them.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: I thought she was going to say, I wanted to
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: let you know dad's coming. And then mom was going
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: to be mad and, like, leave or something.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: So in the talking head, the mom says, I'm so grateful,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: you know, that I get to do this with Mallory,
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: that all those bad years are behind us because we
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: had so many bad years. And that's good. But then
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: we see her putting on the red veil again. And
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: she's got it like her hair's up, but she's got
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: it kind of pinned to her bun in the back. Yes.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: There you go, Kimberly. And but we see that she's
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: going to put it on her face. And she says
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: that in the Turkish culture, the red veil signifies leaving
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: single womanhood to be with your husband. Do you think
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: it has to do with bleeding?
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: Now I do. Okay.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Let's look at that. I'm going to look at red. Veil, Turkish,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: not Turkin, Turkish.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: Like a sheet with blood on it?
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Yes, that's what I was trying to, that's what I
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: was thinking. It's supposed to be luck, protection from evil spirits, modesty,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: and a joyful transition into married life. The color red
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: protects the bride from malevolent spirits. Red represents happiness and fertility.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: And covering the bride's head signifies modesty and her emotional
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: departure from her family home into her new life. I
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: think it has something to do with what I think.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: I think that's... But in like India, red is just
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: a very luck color.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: That's true. That's true. Also, didn't Darcy or Stacey... No, Stacey. No, Darcy.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: When she went with Georgie, didn't she put on a
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: red veil for their wedding?
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: Yeah, something like that.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Some very traditional veil that he was very happy about.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: But then she threw up in the gutter after their wedding. Yes.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Never forget.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: He was so annoyed with her. He was like yelling
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: at her.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: He's like, can you throw up on my shoes? So, okay.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: She says it signifies leaving single womanhood to be with
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: your husband. So we see Rasheed walk up the aisle.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: And thank goodness, Mikayla and Rin and Ryan are there.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: And then we see Brandy. She outs in the front row.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: Brandy has been on his best Wrangler shirt. He's cleaned himself. up.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: Brandy looks good.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: Big hat.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Huge hat. Yeah, looks good. Then we see his family
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: on the computer screen.
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: He doesn't look that happy, but that's cool. That's his shit.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: That's his face.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: That's, that's his face. I was like, is he secretly
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: still in love with Mallory? And that's what's happening. But
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: I think that's just his face.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: I think his face looks mean. Yeah. Um, so the
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: family's on the computer screen and the two brothers are like,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: is he crying? And he's just, he's just, I mean,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: both hands just pawing at his face.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: Just like a toddler, like having a meltdown. It's so sweet.
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: He is like, just so open heart, you know, just
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: like on his sleeve.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: It's sweet. Um, So she comes up in the red veil.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: He lifts the veil and kisses her forehead. She's like,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: hold on. Not yet. Don't kiss me yet. They do
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: the vows and it's really cute. He doesn't know some
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: of the words that she's that they're saying to repeat.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: And every she repeats it and tries to help him,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: which is very sweet and very.
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: Not in a Marissa way. Like, nope. Try again.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: It was very nice.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: Very nice.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: And they do the rings. And when he does her ring,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: he gets on his knees to do hers and kisses
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: her hand. Now, Marissa would have been furious.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: You're ruining the pictures. Not what we practiced.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: Not what we're doing.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: Remember.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Nope. You already did that.
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: Very cute. Ha, ha, ha. Trying to play like she's
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: fine with it. But Mallory's sister and mom love it.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: They're delighted.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: They're so cute.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: They're seeing his sense of humor and they're happy with him.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: They are pronounced husband and wife. It's very cute. His
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: family claps on the screen. And then they do like
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: a talking head off to the side. And she says, oh,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: what do you think? This is the longest one night
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: stand in history. It took him a second. He's like, oh, yeah,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: it is.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: Once his English gets better, they're just going to be
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: so delightful.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: He already has a great sense of humor. He does.
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: He's very funny. He just doesn't understand all the jokes.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: They go to the reception. It looked beautiful. It's really pretty.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: They could be great on pillow talk if they would
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: bring back pillow talk.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Yeah. And maybe they are. The wedding looked beautiful. The
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: reception looked beautiful. I loved it. He does Turkish dancing,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: you know, with the shoulders and stuff. And she's like,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: and it's funny. It's cute. Brenda comes over and says,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: I just want to say I'm so happy for you guys.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: And Rashid says, I was wrong about you, Brandy. And
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: they hug it out.
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: Can I just say, I did not cry when any
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: of the couples got married. I got teary eyed. With
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: Brandy and Rosh fully made up and hugged. Because to
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: see a man admit his wrongdoings and properly, maturely deal
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: with his emotions, that is so romantic.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: It was cute. I loved it. It was sweet. They
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: hugged it out. Then we see everybody crazy dancing at
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: the wedding. They're having a ball. And that's it. That's
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: the end. It's a great season. Next week starts the
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: three-part tell-all. And it looks like they are going to
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: take them off set.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: They're going to be on set. They're going to go
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: to a bar.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: A bar after, it looks like. Yeah. Yeah. And not
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: be so done talking to people after filming for a
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: million hours.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: No. Yeah. The funniest thing that I saw when they
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: did the quick clips was Mito sits down with Debbie
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: and says that Rosh called him fake. I know.
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: I think they're going to get into it.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: I love that. And then I also like that when
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: Rashi went to meet Thomas, he rubbed his body all
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: over him to get his cologne on him.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: I died and Thomas is freaking out.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: So bad.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: Your smell is an invasion or something like that. And
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: he is pissed. And Paula is like, oh, God, this
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: is so.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: She's so embarrassed. Yeah. But I mean, Rashi doesn't on purpose.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: He's like, this is going to be hilarious.
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: Yes. hilarious and then Thomas is like changing his shirt
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: and scrubbing his body I mean honestly I do feel
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: bad if he does break out in rashes it's not
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: funny but his just his attitude is so annoying and
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: well the fact.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: That Paula says every time she ever visited him or
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: he visited her this was never an issue until she
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: mentioned it never mentioned it you're getting married to somebody
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: you know them pretty well you've been on all sorts
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: of trips and vacations and then you stayed in each
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: other's apartments and he's never mentioned.
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: This Never had an allergic reaction.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: And now all of a sudden, it's weird. But those
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: were the funny clips that I saw. I didn't write
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: everything down, obviously.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: And then everyone goes after Katie because she gets drunk
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: at a bar, tries to make out with someone, and
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: everyone goes at her and she storms off set.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Yeah, because I think, does she get drunk when they
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: go to the bar all together?
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: Yes, exactly.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: And she's probably looking at Tom and is like, you'll do.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: You look fine. You're okay. You're fine. You have a face.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: He actually does kind of look like her friend Ryan
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: and that other Mark. Like those two interchangeable white guys.
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: Thomas could fit in with that generic guy face. She's
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: going to be faced with some hard truths from people.
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: And I don't know if this is filmed when it
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: has already started to air and she's already started to
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: get feedback. But She's not going to take the criticism
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: well because she has a drinking problem and she has
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: mental health issues.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: That are not being addressed.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: Yeah. Not being addressed at all. And so it's going
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: to be really bad.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: It is. And I can't wait. We haven't gotten the
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: screeners yet, so I haven't seen it. But we'll get
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: them tomorrow and I'll be watching right away. Right away.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: So excited. You guys, this week, so on Mondays, we're
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: covering Asian Appropriate. And then also on Mondays, you're getting
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: Pink Shade Prime. It's Kimberly and I discussing double lives
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: of suburban wives. And it's getting grosser and grosser every week.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: And we really hate them.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: Speaking of licking butts, it's just....
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Give some of those old double lives of suburban wives
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: a follow and see how you feel about them.
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: On their regular feeds.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Regular Instagram.
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: On Instagram.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: Like not behind a paywall.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: Brie just posted right before I came on, it popped
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: up on Instagram. Brie is standing in a bikini on a,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: on a beach. That's clearly like, I mean, wherever the,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: I don't know, is there a beach in St.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: Louis?
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Are they, is she on a great lake? But she's
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: standing on a beach, not a European beach is the point.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Cause she goes, I'm so excited. Cause my husband and
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: his best friend just took me to the Eiffel tower.
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: Oh my God.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: She's making an Eiffel tower sex reference. I was like,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: you could have at least put yourself on a green screen, like,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: if you're Paris. Which friend?
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: And does he have a double mullet, too?
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: It's just gross. It's just Macy constantly posting.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: It was a quad mullet.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Macy posting about her and her friend double teaming her husband.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: I mean, it's just, it's nuts. Anyway, we think they're disgusting.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: So if you want to hear us get really enraged,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: that is on Pink Shade Prime. And also Keisha and
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: I are doing our rewatch of Welcome to Blackville on
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: Pink Shade Prime. And you and I cover Last Resort
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: on Pink Shade Prime. That comes out on Fridays. And
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: this week, our episode that we did about The Pastor's Wife,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Netflix documentary, that comes out on Thursday this week, Poppin' Bravo.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: I will be back with some more Bravo content next week, guys.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: I just was putting other stuff out for the last
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: few weeks while I had a lot of guests and
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: house guests and moving my son into college and doing
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: Love is Blind. It was a lot. But I will
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: be going back to the Poppin' Bravo content next week.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: But this week, enjoy The Pastor's Wife on your free feed.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: That was wild.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Wild. And I've learned so much more since then.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: Oh, it keeps getting worse.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: It keeps getting worse.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: His ex-wife keeps revealing things.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: He's a monster.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Monster.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: Mm-hmm. Yeah.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: He needs to be taken down. I even heard the
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: word bestiality being thrown around quite a bit with that guy. Yeah.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: He's just out in the world.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: Going, getting smoothies with his new wife. No biggie. No biggie. Okay,
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: that's it, everybody. We will see you next week for
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: the first part of the tell-all.
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: Okay, bye. I love a tell-all.
