- 0:31Halloween is coming up yes and in mexico it's dia de los muertos yeah november
- 0:372nd and and uh so on that holiday what do you do there's a uh,
- 0:46well we go to the cemetery to honor our dead.
- 0:51And some families like to stay and sleep. Well, they don't really sleep,
- 0:58but they're in the cemetery the entire night.
- 1:04They bring food and, you know, candles.
- 1:09It's like a party with the dead. The party with the dead, yes.
- 1:12But then you go, my mom used to tell me.
- 1:14You clean the grave. You clean the grave. And you put flowers.
- 1:17And you bring food for them and whatever their favorite drink is or whatever.
- 1:22Yeah. And you like pour the whiskey on the grave or whatever.
- 1:25Yeah, and they, well, tequila.
- 1:27Tequila, I mean. Of course it's tequila. I know.
- 1:31And my mom said she used to go, I don't know if they went into a cemetery,
- 1:38but she said that people were waiting, like crying for their death. Oh.
- 1:44They also put... Because we're very melodramatic. because of people. Ay, no, que diga chica.
- 1:50No, no, no. Now we sound Puerto Rican. I know, right?
- 1:54But we are so melodramatic. Yeah, we're very novelanate, you know?
- 1:59So I was thinking, since Day of the Dead, you honor the dead.
- 2:05Halloween, all that spooky stuff is coming up. So I was thinking about,
- 2:08um, talking about, um, our dead, the people who passed in our lives that we
- 2:14know, like, um, our grandmothers, grandmothers.
- 2:18And, oh yeah. Our grandmothers.
- 2:21Yeah. I have a freaky grandmother. I had a freaky grandmother.
- 2:24She was telepathic and I'm not just saying that bitch was telepathic. She, um.
- 2:32She was very close to my father, and she had to remarry because her first husband died.
- 2:40So when she remarried, she had daughters. And the new husband thought of my
- 2:45father as a bastard child and made him sleep outside. Like Cinderella.
- 2:49Just like Cinderella. Only he was a male version. Cinderella.
- 2:54And my grandmother and him were very tight, and they communicated to each other
- 2:58telepathically. And I saw evidence of this many times when I was a child because,
- 3:05she would call like a phone call. She didn't have a phone.
- 3:08She lived in a town with five houses, only five houses in the entire town.
- 3:14And there were no cell phones. Yeah, but they didn't even have landlines.
- 3:19They had no phones at all.
- 3:20Yeah, because there were only five houses in that community.
- 3:26Mountain Bell, which was the only phone company at the time,
- 3:28decided not to run lines to their houses. So Mountain Bell ran all the way into
- 3:33Mexico? I didn't know that.
- 3:35Mountain Bell. No, it was in Paltzburg.
- 3:38Paltzburg, Arizona. Okay. They lived in Arizona.
- 3:41It was Mexico. No, it was Mountain Bell. I remember everything was Mountain Bell.
- 3:45So anyway, she would send him messages like, I'm coming to visit you. I'm 20 minutes away.
- 3:53And he would tell us. like yeah she just she just told me she's you know she's
- 3:5720 minutes away or you know she just told me she's driving up the neighborhood
- 4:01street and there she would be and we would be like what and and i remember that's freaky yeah,
- 4:07yeah once um my mother was uh pregnant and uh i was i was still a baby um but
- 4:16this is the this is what i was told um,
- 4:19We lived in Arizona, and it was an extremely hot summer.
- 4:24We were on our way to visit my grandmother, and the car broke down.
- 4:31And because it's a two-and-a-half-hour drive or something like that to her place,
- 4:37we didn't really have any supplies or anything like that. But the car broke
- 4:41down in the middle of the desert, and no water.
- 4:43My mother was eight months pregnant. She was huge.
- 4:48And they were really worried because there was nobody had driven by and they
- 4:53were stranded out in the middle of the desert and she was really pregnant and,
- 4:59yeah and then and my mom said that my my dad and my sisters told me too because
- 5:04they saw this that he sat down,
- 5:07you know that my mom was in a panic you know what are we gonna do what are we
- 5:10and and my dad just sat down and he just started rubbing his temples and he
- 5:14just started rocking back and forth.
- 5:17And my mom was like, what are you doing? You know, like, we've got to,
- 5:20like, you got to go to walk, find someplace with that to, to call for help.
- 5:24Yeah. Like, and he was just sitting there rubbing his temples.
- 5:28And then he was like, um, and then he told her that my mom's going to be here. Don't worry.
- 5:33And sure enough, like 20 minutes later, she pulled up and now she pulled up
- 5:38and she had water and food and everything for everybody and she knew exactly
- 5:42where they were. And then...
- 5:47So, she was having tests done in the hospital.
- 5:52And back in the day, they would run this liquid through your veins and take
- 5:58a, somehow, like a radioactive liquid or something. Yeah, that's happened to me.
- 6:01Yeah. I've done that. Really? Well, there were complications.
- 6:05But, so, we were at home. And I guess they didn't know there were complications.
- 6:11I didn't know how it worked. But I remember, because I was only like five years
- 6:14old, six years old, maybe. Oh.
- 6:16And, um, but I remember waking up and, uh, there was this screaming,
- 6:24the sound of screaming, ah, ah, and we went, it was coming from my parents' room.
- 6:31So all the kids, there was five of us, we went running into my parents' room.
- 6:35Like, you know, and my dad was kneeling on the bed. He was in the middle of
- 6:39the bed and he was screaming towards the sky.
- 6:42Ah, ah.
- 6:46Just screaming. And we were like, what's, you know, he was, we couldn't reach
- 6:50him. We couldn't get him to stop. We couldn't, he was just screaming.
- 6:53It was really scary. Like in a trance. Yeah, he was just, and then the phone rang.
- 7:00And my mom picked up the phone, and it was the hospital calling to tell us that
- 7:05our grandmother had just died.
- 7:07Oy, I got chills. And he was— Oy. Yeah. And it was—now, you have to understand,
- 7:13before this, my dad used to read bedtime stories to us, and he was more playful and stuff.
- 7:20From that day on, he shut down. Yeah.
- 7:25He didn't speak to us anymore. He became very angry all the time.
- 7:32He became very depressed. He started drinking heavily.
- 7:36And he basically turned into a monster because she was his whole world.
- 7:43And she wrote a book, a big, thick book about mental telepathy, my grandmother did.
- 7:51Handwritten. And it was thick. We're talking like three inches thick. It was a giant book.
- 7:57And she'd been writing it her whole life. We went looking for it,
- 8:01and it vanished. We couldn't find it anywhere in her house.
- 8:05It was just gone.
- 8:08I don't think so. Yeah, because when I brought it up to them,
- 8:11they didn't know. They didn't know about it?
- 8:14No, no. And they didn't even know about the pentagram in her bedroom under the
- 8:20carpet. I remember you telling me about that.
- 8:22Yeah, they didn't even know about that. And they were her own kids.
- 8:25And I was a grandkid who just visited.
- 8:28And I even knew that she had a big pentagram. Yeah, the human nosey.
- 8:31Yeah. I remember waking up one morning.
- 8:35And really early, the sun was just rising, and she was in the back of the house,
- 8:42because there were open fields.
- 8:44There was no fencing, because there was only five houses. Yeah.
- 8:48And she was back there, and she was holding a chicken's head,
- 8:51and she was splattering the blood from the chicken's head all over the house.
- 8:56And she was chanting in some weird language. I've never heard. Just this weird.
- 9:04And she was chanting like that and she was splattering blood around the house
- 9:07and here's something really bizarre,
- 9:11my grandmother's house was at the base of a mountain the mountain was being
- 9:17mined for limestone lime well lime that they make you know concrete out of um,
- 9:26And so what happens when you're mining lime is it creates this gray dust that
- 9:31coats everything around the mine for miles.
- 9:35And so the five houses and their yards and the land, it was surrounded,
- 9:42was all coated. Nothing grew.
- 9:44Yeah, a wild grass grew and it grew and it looked gray.
- 9:50And the trees were all covered in gray and they almost always had no leaves.
- 9:54It was a really harsh environment. It was barren.
- 9:58It looked like sad snow. Imagine snow, but the snow is gray.
- 10:04And instead of it being fluffy, it looked like talc powder, but it was gray.
- 10:09And it coated everything. And so there was no vegetation.
- 10:14But my grandmother's house, I kid you not, the walk up to her house.
- 10:20You'd walk through these archways, 10 feet long.
- 10:24And they were arched walkways, and they had these gorgeous grapes hanging from
- 10:29them, just from the vine, the vines.
- 10:32And then the whole front of the house had flowers and rose bushes,
- 10:36and it was this gorgeous, immaculate garden. So, nothing of the lime stuff,
- 10:40that plants, or anything? No, no, no, no.
- 10:46And she grew fruits and vegetables, and every—girl, You would walk outside beyond,
- 10:52her garden, and it looked like a moonscape of gray snow.
- 10:58But her garden all the way around her house was green and lush,
- 11:03and there was no powder anywhere.
- 11:04There was no—and, yeah.
- 11:07That's nuts. And after she died about—I'm wanting to say about 10 years after
- 11:12she died, my mother and I drove back to visit the house, because there was only
- 11:17five houses. It was a tiny town.
- 11:20The town wasn't even on the map forever.
- 11:23That's tiny. Yeah. So we went, and the thing that happens with any mine is that
- 11:29they ended up mining all of the limestone from the mountain.
- 11:34So the mountain was gone. It was now just a flat hill.
- 11:39It went from literally being a mountain to a flat hill, and so it was gone.
- 11:43So the mine was gone, everything was closed up, and the houses had all been
- 11:47demolished, and they were gone.
- 11:48And the only thing left were the five concrete.
- 11:55Slabs where the houses were, and everything was still covered in that dust.
- 12:00Everything was still dead. Everything was gray.
- 12:03And the concrete slab where my grandmother's house was in the center was growing
- 12:09out of the concrete a tulip.
- 12:12A bright, bright orange tulip was growing right out of the concrete.
- 12:16And it was the only color for like a mile. I don't.
- 12:19It was so bizarre. That's bizarre. You guys, it was bizarre.
- 12:23Yeah. So she was very much into Wicca or the arts.
- 12:29They didn't really call it that because she was Mexican. So they didn't.
- 12:34It was more just. She was like.
- 12:37She was into Santeria.
- 12:40Santeria. And yeah. And yeah. It was pre-Christian stuff. It was stuff that
- 12:43they did before the Catholics came in and turned everybody into Catholics.
- 12:50They used to have their own spirituality and their own religion, and that's what she did.
- 12:55But she was, you have an interesting relative as well that your family doesn't like to discuss.
- 13:02They only whisper his name from your past. Oh, but he wasn't a witch.
- 13:08He wasn't a witch, but he had an interesting life.
- 13:12He
- 13:17Assassinated the president in Mexico at the time.
- 13:23I think his name was Obregón.
- 13:27And hopefully Mexico doesn't come up to me for this.
- 13:31Yeah. But for years, your family wouldn't even mention his name.
- 13:35No, they would say it in secret.
- 13:39They would talk. The uncle. The uncle. Yeah, the deal. The great. Yeah.
- 13:44And I don't even know his name. Oh, wait, I think it was.
- 13:48I have it written down. Jose something.
- 13:52I wrote it down. I have it written down. It's in the book. I forgot.
- 13:54It's in the book. But it's fascinating.
- 13:58He was fighting for the church, actually, which was weird, because he was helping
- 14:04out the nun that was in charge of the nun. Yes.
- 14:09At the time, the Native people in Mexico suddenly had an awakening where they
- 14:17were just like, why are we Catholic? Yeah, they created a movement.
- 14:21Yeah, because it was like, this is not what our people are.
- 14:25We are Native people. with our own religion, our own spirituality.
- 14:28And all of a sudden, all of these Catholic cathedrals are being built everywhere,
- 14:32and now we're Catholic, and that's a Western religion.
- 14:35It's not ours. And this was later, because the Spaniards built their churches
- 14:44over a lot of the temples that exist in the Catholics, the Mayans.
- 14:51And they covered them. They covered them all. Yeah, probably as a statement,
- 14:55this is your new religion.
- 14:56They also destroyed all of the literature or the records that had been kept,
- 15:02and all of the ceremonial stuff that had to do with the spirituality and the history.
- 15:08They destroyed a lot of it. They destroyed it, and they imposed the Catholic
- 15:14religion on the Native Americans.
- 15:17I mean, they weren't Americans back then, they were Natives.
- 15:20And he wasn't an uncle. He was like a great uncle, we'll say.
- 15:24Well, for me, yeah, he would have been a great, great, great,
- 15:26great uncle or something.
- 15:28He was very Catholic. And at that time, the natives had gained political influence. Right.
- 15:36And they were successful at starting to remove the influence of the Catholic
- 15:44Church from Mexico and actually shutting down some of the,
- 15:50cathedrals, I guess, or the organizations that were Catholic. And.
- 15:56There was a nun who was very outspoken about it because she was a nun and she
- 16:03believed in the Catholicism.
- 16:05And she—so she was very outspoken, and he was an avid fan of hers. Yeah.
- 16:11He loved her. He was a big follower. He was very influenced by her.
- 16:14Oh, yeah. And so it's believed that he listened to her. Yeah.
- 16:20And that he followed her so intensely that he took it upon himself to.
- 16:29Assassinate the president who at the time was supporting the anti-Catholic rhetoric
- 16:35of, like, we should go back to our native spirituality. Isn't that crazy?
- 16:40Yeah. And he was, from what I remember the story, he went to protect the church.
- 16:46And I believe that he was shot in the church. No. Did you do that? No.
- 16:54So what happened was, because I read about it, he went to— Crazy.
- 16:58Yeah. In the history books.
- 17:00You have family lore. Well, they probably didn't spend a lot of time actually,
- 17:06putting the facts together.
- 17:08Right. Because they were trying. They were hiding from him. Because it must
- 17:11have been—I mean, talk about a black-listed person.
- 17:14Um, you know, I mean, he, so because he's a presidential assassin,
- 17:21I mean, there's very few of those in the world and he, um, and he's in your family, but yeah.
- 17:29So he, so the president was at party.
- 17:32I believe he got entrance to the party. I don't know if he was working there
- 17:36or if he got, but somehow he got entrance to the party.
- 17:39He took a firearm, and as soon as he had a chance, he shot the president and killed him.
- 17:47And here's an interesting thing.
- 17:50We've got more about this than I do. Yeah, because he did it to protect the Catholic Church.
- 17:56So because there were so many Catholic supporters,
- 18:02in the closet, so to speak, they ended up, when they autopsied the president's
- 18:08body, they found bullets from other weapons in him, not just his.
- 18:14So what's believed is that people went up after the president was dead and laying
- 18:18on the floor and just started firing their guns into him as well,
- 18:22like to say, you know, how dare you go against our Catholic church?
- 18:25Yeah, that's a lot of power, the church fat. And when he was,
- 18:31When.
- 18:34He was then executed for this crime, and his body, as it went down the street,
- 18:41tens of thousands of Catholic supporters filled the streets to cheer for him.
- 18:49Because he was a hero to them. Oh, God, I have chills. Yeah.
- 18:54But for those of us who do not support,
- 19:01that ideology and who are hungry for a return to our native ways,
- 19:06as opposed to the Western imposition,
- 19:11he was not a hero. Yeah. You know, he was a sucker.
- 19:15Yeah. You know, who fell for the rhetoric. Okay. And I'm sure a lot of people
- 19:20are going to be upset about this, but you know,
- 19:23I think the Catholic Church has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt its corruption and its fallibility.
- 19:32It is not an organization. I say this wholeheartedly with my entire intellect.
- 19:38I don't support it. I don't want to have anything to do with it, and I don't like it.
- 19:42I mean, not to delve more into it, but I guess I'm going to.
- 19:46I mean, look at all the, sorry, the priests that were. Oh, yeah.
- 19:52Yeah. And there's just so much. A lot of horrible things. A lot of horrible.
- 19:56More people die in the name of religion than any other cause.
- 19:59It's just these organized religions have got to go. We have to go back to simplicity.
- 20:03That's what I say anyway.
- 20:04But. And then my grandma was also. Oh, yeah.
- 20:09Reading the cart. But it wasn't Carol. It was the 52 deck.
- 20:14Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I've heard of it, yeah. Yeah, she would read the
- 20:17cards to the people in her neighborhood in Kamala, also where your dad's from. Mm-hmm. Weird.
- 20:25And my dad always said, you know, the stuff would come true.
- 20:29Yeah. Oh, yeah. It would come true.
- 20:32It does. I mean, both of our families have card reading in their history.
- 20:36Yeah. A lot of card reading, which is why we also read cards.
- 20:40And also, we both have, I mean, we both have had our family lives early on were
- 20:47wrapped up in heavy duty in religion.
- 20:50We were very Catholic, and you guys were Mormon. Yeah.
- 20:54So, it's just like, no thanks. Yeah.
- 20:58No thanks. Our religion is spirituality. Yeah. And love.
- 21:03Love. Yeah. You don't, I don't think there's such a thing as a person who has
- 21:08a more direct contact, a more direct line with spirit, whatever that is up there.
- 21:14You know, this idea that you have to go to a confessional to talk to someone
- 21:17who has like a direct phone line to the boss is like, no, no.
- 21:22No one is closer than you are. Exactly. Come on, you guys. Come on.
- 21:25It's an internal thing that we have in our soul and spirit. The last I checked,
- 21:31the Lord our God was not handing out licensing to specific people to represent Him.
- 21:36Yeah. You know? But that's our opinion. Yeah.
- 21:40And I don't even know if it's the Lord our God. It could be the Lord our goddess. It's true.
- 21:45There's an entity. There's an energy. Let's say there's an energy.
- 21:49And then let's just leave it at that. Because we really don't know what it is,
- 21:52so let's stop trying to pretend like we know exactly what's going on up there,
- 21:55or down there, or wherever you're at, you know? Up there, down there, all around us.
- 22:01Yeah, but the, yeah, Carol reading, it was really, oh, this was interesting.
- 22:06I had an aunt who lived in a border town near Mexico.
- 22:11And she lived with her kids. Her husband had died.
- 22:16And she raised him and her children were all adults. And as is common in our
- 22:21culture, because they weren't married, they still lived in the house.
- 22:24So they were like between the ages of, I'm going to say, 15,
- 22:29all the way up to like 24, 26. Yeah, that's common. Yeah.
- 22:35So she's out, she had a garden and she's out gardening. You know,
- 22:37they were very poor. They had a very, very humble home.
- 22:40Very poor people and they lived in a place called Douglas Arizona look it up
- 22:45it's kind of cool town and um,
- 22:49so she's out there gardening and she's just smelling this horrendous smell like
- 22:52what is that just couldn't what you know and um like a dead cat or something
- 22:59yeah like a dead something dead,
- 23:02and uh it was coming from the neighbor's yard yeah and her next door neighbor
- 23:06and the The people that lived there, it was new people.
- 23:11In other words, they just moved in. Yeah. And.
- 23:16So I guess the lady of that house was out in the garden.
- 23:20And so my auntie kind of confronted her and she said, hey, what's up?
- 23:25What is that smell? Like, it's
- 23:28really bad. You've got to take care of that smell. Where's it coming from?
- 23:32We've got to figure this out because it's really bad. Oh, my God.
- 23:36And she said that the woman said nothing to her.
- 23:39She simply turned around and walked back into her house with a smile on her
- 23:43face, just walked away like… which gave her the chills and the eebie-jeebies.
- 23:49So, the following day,
- 23:54She went out to do some more gardening, and she saw voodoo dolls.
- 24:01The voodoo dolls were set up in the garden, in her neighbor's garden,
- 24:07and they were facing her house.
- 24:12And that night, she went to bed, and she felt something strange in her vaginal area.
- 24:19So she turned the light on, and she saw a bunch of worms crawling out of her vagina.
- 24:26A bunch of worms, hundreds of them. They were just crawling out of her vagina.
- 24:30And I kid you not,
- 24:33she started screaming, of course. Oh, God. So her kids came running to the room,
- 24:38and she was like, oh, my God, explaining to them what had happened.
- 24:43And they took her to the hospital immediately. And the doctors were like,
- 24:47ma'am, there's like nothing coming out of there. There are no worms. You're imagining this.
- 24:53She was like, no, I wasn't imagining. I swear they were coming out. I swear.
- 24:59And they were just like, don't know what to tell you. We didn't see anything.
- 25:02There's nothing there. Nothing there.
- 25:04And she was freaked out. And she went home.
- 25:08And the next day, she saw one of the voodoo dolls had pins in the vagina area,
- 25:14in the crotch area, and the pins were going through worms that had been stuck
- 25:19on the crotch area with pins going through them.
- 25:22There were worms, dead worms, earthworms, dangling like that.
- 25:26And yeah, and she was just like freaked, so freaked.
- 25:31And you guys, I kid you not.
- 25:36It freaked her out, and it wouldn't stop haunting her. And three months later, my aunt was dead.
- 25:43Dead yeah so i was you know halloweenies coming up,
- 25:52maybe we should have a seance i know.
- 25:57Oh yeah oh yeah because the bottle yeah well we recently put a video on youtube
- 26:04and other areas other yeah social videos uh there's a windex well i don't know
- 26:11Shout out to him next time. You're right.
- 26:13The bottle was moving by itself. It just was rocking there on the shelf.
- 26:17And so John read the cards to our neighbor, Esme, and he said—actually to all of us. Yeah.
- 26:26And then my question— Yeah, who was—because the bottle—you guys,
- 26:33for days, this bottle sat there rocking.
- 26:36By itself. By itself. Nothing. There was no vibration. No, nothing.
- 26:41It was just rocking, rocking, rocking. The fridge wasn't making it.
- 26:45Freaked us out. So one of my brothers— We got it on video.
- 26:49Yeah, one of my brothers recently passed, S.O.T. Sergio, and I asked him, is that Sergio?
- 26:58And I got the ace of swords, I believe. Yeah, yeah. Which means— Clear mind, yes, it was.
- 27:07Right on the spot. Right on the spot. You hit the target, girl.
- 27:09Boom, that's what it was.
- 27:11I got chills, I got chills, I got chills. Oh, and then, you guys,
- 27:15so we're not financially well off. Okay.
- 27:19I mean, the sparklies are not real. They're not real. These are like,
- 27:22you know. We hope, we wish. Yeah. So, but, um...
- 27:26I was working at a hardware store. I used to work at a hardware store.
- 27:29Oh, yeah. And my sister had just recently died.
- 27:34And she was very into money. She was financially successful and all that kind
- 27:37of stuff. And I was like, girl, I don't know how you did it,
- 27:39but send something my way.
- 27:41You know, give me winning lottery numbers or something.
- 27:45You know, and I had been asking her and asking her, like, you know,
- 27:50I don't know if anything's going to happen. It's probably silly.
- 27:53But I thought, what the heck? Doesn't hurt to ask.
- 27:55Oh, universe, if my sister's out there with you, would you please let her know
- 28:01that her brother would like the winning numbers for the lottery next month?
- 28:06And I kept, you know, and nothing was happening, nothing. So I said,
- 28:10I was at work and I was like, girl, give me a sign. I had just gotten done with lunch.
- 28:14And I was in an aisle. I had been called to aisle seven, plumbing.
- 28:19And I was helping a customer. No, it was aisle four, sorry.
- 28:23And I'm helping a customer in plumbing. and we're sitting there and we're talking
- 28:28about compression fittings and all this stuff like that and.
- 28:35Uh a package a package went from one shelf flew it like if someone tossed it
- 28:43and we were the only two people in the aisle
- 28:45and the package flew across the aisle hit the other other side of the shelves
- 28:50on the other side of the aisle and then fell to the floor and,
- 28:53me the customer and myself we both saw it,
- 28:56we were both happened to be looking exactly in that direction when this package went drop,
- 29:03and the customer just looked at me like i swear i swear and and he was like,
- 29:10i'm getting out of here and he just i swear and he turned around and he just
- 29:13bolted right out of that aisle.
- 29:16Yep and then and then um the other employees were like what happened what and
- 29:19i told them and they were like nah you're lying i'm like i swear to god and
- 29:23the customer was like this place is haunted i'm getting out of here and he swear
- 29:28to god he just bolted out the door Oh, yeah.
- 29:31Oh, yeah. And I was just like, that was weird.
- 29:34So weird. Anyways.
- 29:36So I was at the grocery store like a few months back, and I was by the bread aisle.
- 29:44And the guy was putting the bread up and all of a sudden a bread shot out,
- 29:51oh you know who it was i wasn't asking for anything because we both like stopped and we're like,
- 29:57what's going on wow and i said it's got to be a ghost wow because it just i
- 30:03mean it was like neatly put away because he had just put it there and then all
- 30:07of a sudden it just went shock.
- 30:10Hey yeah i know hey so you guys what What do you think about ghosts?
- 30:14Do they exist? Do they not exist?
- 30:16And even the word ghost, maybe it's something else. Maybe there's an energy, a residue of something.
- 30:23I don't know. What do you think happens to people when they die?
- 30:25Where do we go? I mean, I have my theories.
- 30:29I think, for me, I think everybody, they call it the soul, but I think there's
- 30:35an energy inside of everybody.
- 30:37Some people call it a soul, some people might have another word for it. Yeah.
- 30:41And that when you depart, it also has to depart.
- 30:46It's like when you burn a log, that log is gone now.
- 30:50But it created energy when it was disappearing, and it pushed the energy out
- 30:55into the world, into the universe.
- 30:56I think when we depart, when anything that's alive is now dead,
- 31:01I think whatever energy had inside of it kind of like explodes out into the
- 31:05universe, like in the most tiny, tiny microscopic, even less than like,
- 31:11particles, you know, just, just.
- 31:13And then I think that, like soup, all those energies are just swirling around.
- 31:19And I think when there's a new life that's going to be introduced,
- 31:23that whatever the energy is kind of scooped up in whatever quantity is needed
- 31:28and put into that new life form.
- 31:30Yeah. And that's why people sometimes are like, you know, I think that I have...
- 31:37Whoever uh dolly parton is in me yeah and it's kind of like she may be part of her maybe,
- 31:43because when her energy went poosh you know and and then you were born scooped
- 31:47up like that kind of thing yeah so i don't you know i think i think that when i mean this is just,
- 31:54my brain that when somebody passes away they're still around you and people
- 32:00that we haven't seen in a long time that we know I think they come and visit.
- 32:07And I think that they're on another plane.
- 32:11But they're still here. They're still here. Their energy is still here. That's kind of cool.
- 32:17Wouldn't it be sad if it was all wishful thinking and in the end nothing happens?
- 32:21You just lights out, story's over, you turn to dust, you're recycled into the
- 32:26earth. Nothing's going to happen.
- 32:29I mean, that's a possibility, I guess. That's a possibility,
- 32:32because we don't know. I mean, we won't know until we're gone. Yes. So. Knock on wood.
- 32:37LOL with Maddie and John.com is the website where you can tell us what you think.
- 32:45Because it's a very controversial issue. What happens when you die?
- 32:48It really is. What is it? What happens?
- 32:51Yeah. I guess we're probably thinking about it more now because we're closer
- 32:54to that reality than we were 20 years ago.
- 32:57Yeah. I mean, we're in our 60s. Yeah. And so it's on your mind.
- 33:02Just like when you're going to college, what are you going to major in is on your mind.
- 33:06When you're old, what about death is on your mind. You know, what are you going to do?
- 33:11Are you going to fight it or are you just going to go with the flow?
- 33:14Or are you going to encourage it? I mean, there's all different ways to approach it, I guess.
- 33:19But the thing is, one more Halloween that we're going to go through,
- 33:24which is one more time to celebrate Day of the Dead. Yes. And one more season
- 33:28of putting on a costume and acting crazy, lunatics going to parties.
- 33:35And bringing that inner ghostly, ghouly, ghoulish, funky, funky out, you know?
- 33:43And remembering our dead. And honoring them.
- 33:48And sending prayers, however you feel, you know, chants.
- 33:54Yeah, you can be like, I love you, sister. I love you, grandma. I love you, grandpa.
- 33:59I love you, mom. I love you, dad. You know what I mean? If they're gone.
- 34:04At our age, they are. But, you know, at your age, you might still have them. Hey. Enjoy them. Yeah.
- 34:09Listen, you guys, happy Halloween. Happy Halloween. Party.
- 34:14Put on a costume. Have fun. Be safe. Find an alternate, like, personality to become.
- 34:20Become, you know, a superhero or a nurse or whatever you want to.
- 34:25But become the same thing other.
- 34:28Fun. All right. Have fun. You guys, have a good one.
- 34:31Have a good one. Don't forget, LOL with moneyandjohn.com. and let us know what
- 34:36you think about ghosts and our stories and what happens to you at death.
- 34:43All right, bye. Bye, we'd love to see you. See you.
