  [rock music] Ow. Hey, everybody.
• 0:19
It's that time of the week again for Full Spectrum Cycling, this being our 227th effort. Wow. [laughs] 227, that's the sitcom- Oh... okay, so-... where everyone was hanging out on the steps...
• 0:32
I just, I don't know how, I don't know how numbers work, but- [scoffs] I think you do... but those guys over at, uh, what- whatever they call S- Steve-o Knievel's one, they're already at number 99.
• 0:43
It's like, I, it's like they're catching up or something. Who? Yeah. I don't know. It's, it's- Are you doing them once a day, or? No, they do one a week. Oh. I think. It just- Well, then they'll never catch up... I...
• 0:54
Well, that's like two years' worth already for those guys. All right. Well, you never know. That's- That's a lot. That's a lot. [laughs] That's not as much as 227. Yeah, that's like five years. Yeah, that's a lot, lot.
• 1:02
Or close to it. Crazy. Crazy we [laughs] keep torturing everybody with this- That's right Right. That's fact... with this show once a week, whether they like it or not.
• 1:12
Boy howdy- Hey, supposedly last week we got three more people to join. Yeah, that's amazing. Yeah. We're up to, like- Subscribers... four now. [laughs] Four, are we? So Mel- Four, thank you...
• 1:20
Mel, if you and your friends are listening, thanks. Right on. Uh, today in the studio, got Tony. Yep. We got Sam D over there, too. Yes. Sam's here. And then, uh, I don't know what Michael's doing on his phone.
• 1:31
He's- Hi, I'm trying to get my documents back. His documents. There you go. Hello. He's got his documents. Now I have them. All right, so what's, what's, what's going on out there? It's hot today. Hot. It was beautiful.
• 1:42
Well, it's probably still warm today, but it was hot on Tuesday. [laughs] Well, it was hot on Tuesday. I, I had to open the windows to the house to warm the house up in October. That's sweet, and inexpensive. Right.
• 1:55
Which is- Yes... good. Yes. [laughs] Good these days. I, I think we tied a record. There were 80 degrees on Tuesday, which- I kept my windows shut.
• 2:06
I thought, "If I let the warm air in, boy, I'm gonna end up putting on my air conditioning." I did not wanna have to do that. [laughs] It seemed like it was actually threatening that at the end of the day.
• 2:13
Air conditioning in... I used it in the vehicle- I believe... when I was driving, but I didn't use it at home.
• 2:17
Well, now you kinda have no choice, 'cause any modern vehicle runs the stupid AC whenever you put the defrosters on.
• 2:23
Which my stupid blend doors don't work, so my defroster doesn't switch from blowing in my face to going out the window- R- right...
• 2:28
where it belongs, which last year somehow I got it to move and I'm like, "I gotta figure that out again."
• 2:33
We, we have the same Chrysler afflic- affliction here, too, 'cause one side of my car does not heat for shit either. What Chrysler do you have? Fiat. Oh, is that a Chrysler? [laughs] Yeah. Fix it again, Tony.
• 2:44
[laughs] It's an F word. Yeah, it's totally a Fiat. Is it a Stellantis vehicle? It has the... No, it has the same motor as the, and the same frame as the Jeep, uh, the ugly Jeep with the cross lights in the...
• 2:55
Renegade or something. Oh. Mm. It's the same freaking vehicle. Why did you say ugly Jeep? It's kind of implying something. Oh, uh, you're right. I'm sorry. Yeah, so... But no, good shows since last week.
• 3:07
In the rock and roll space? In the, in the rock and roll spaces, yeah, yeah. I don't, I didn't hit anything. Pouring Rain. You guys hit 'em. What'd you...
• 3:13
Tony, you went to- I went to Adult and My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult.
• 3:18
And I'm sorry I can't remember the opening act's name, but it was a single woman with an electric guitar and a machine, and she did a pretty damn fine job. Pretty damn fine. Yep. That was at, uh- Turner?... Turner?
• 3:31
Was that Turner? That was at Turner Hall, but I will say of all three bands, um, Sam, Adult totally stole the show. Oh, yeah. They, they, uh- Start to finish they never had a break. They played all their songs.
• 3:40
They were done, and they were all on point. They're a good... I mean, they've been a married couple for- Oh, yeah. She, she was-... almost 30 years... insane on the microphone. [laughs] And they're both artists.
• 3:50
It was, it was well-choreographed and it was a good show. Not even too loud either, I was happy to say, 'cause I forgot my earplugs. Yeah. [laughs] JK?
• 3:58
You know, a while back I, I actually got 40 tickets to an Adult show over at Cactus and I brought 40 friends to see Adult, and I- Nice... I wondered if I mentioned it to you, either of you guys. But- Cactus...
• 4:08
no, I didn't mention it to you- Oh... but I invited just a whole huge slew, some of my high school friends and just- I do, I think you did, I believe you did invite me to that, and I'm sorry I missed it.
• 4:16
And I bought tickets for everyone. Oh, nice. Awesome. It's like a party waiting to happen. [laughs] Right. And then JK, where were you? Oh, I hit Madison for Emil and The Sniffers. Oh.
• 4:28
Was that, was that a winning- And Despised... was that a ticket winning show, or was that not? Yes, it was. Yeah. Nice. Yes. Thank you once again, WMSC. Exactly. I got a little- The greatest.
• 4:37
Now it's getting- You may not win tickets for another 30 days. I'm okay with that. [laughs] I won my tickets through Adult, too, and I'm totally okay with that. Nice. Exactly. Yeah.
• 4:44
And I did stop and get not one, not one, but two Eric Von Muntz shirts. Yes, I see that they're out in the- I think mine showed up in the mail today. Yeah.
• 4:54
They suckered me with the, with the, uh, standard logo shirt, too, at a very, very sup- significant discount. The meatball? Yeah. Yeah, I know. That's a great one to have, too. It's thick, too. It's nice. Yeah.
• 5:05
So now I got two more. I'm happy. I have a T-shirt problem. I really am starting to come to the realization- I think I'm gonna hit it during the, during the pledge drive. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I'm gonna hit it during...
• 5:13
Well, I've got something special for the pledge drive. You just be- keep listening. Keep listening. Tony's, Tony's got something up his sleeve. I've got quilts or something. He's scheming. I've, uh, I've got...
• 5:22
Molly's not gonna be happy, let's put it that way. [laughs] 'Cause you're spending more money? Oh, yeah. [laughs] Why don't you just buy the station? Nah, I can't do that.
• 5:29
[laughs] But no, I'm gonna have a big pledge this year. I'm really, I'm fortunate to sell the house and have some, get in a little different financial shape at some point.
• 5:36
And, and you know, I'm sorry, there's very few things in life [laughs] that bring me more happiness than WMSC. Oh, shit. I mean- I just thought about that.
• 5:44
Uh, oh, that next Wednesday, 'cause the pledge drive will be starting at the time that you're listening to this, dear listener. Mm. So in between your shifts of listening to WMSC. [laughs] Right, right.
• 5:57
Uh, they're doing the monorail, monorail, monorail show. Yeah, on Wednesday. On Wednesday. And I'll be right in that area- That's this Wednesday... because there's a hotdog on that- Isn't that this Wednesday?
• 6:07
That is this coming Wednesday. Yeah, with Chris Treater and- Hello Milwaukee... and Squint. Yeah. Right on. That's, that's your WMSC update- Yeah... for, uh, the first show, 227.
• 6:16
Yeah, that's- [laughs] If you are in Milwaukee, you missed t- I'm gonna lock up- 'cause this is Friday... I'm gonna lock up and jump the hop.
• 6:21
I have never been on the hop, and I might as well have my inaugural time- Take your bike... with the... Well, that's true, but I don't know how much room, if they're, how mobile their- I don't know if-...
• 6:31
mobile shit is- Yeah... gonna be. You can hang it. It's really fun. [laughs] I just have a feeling I'd be intruding. I know that, uh- [laughs] Yeah. Well- Who knows... just knock on the door. Can't you get a plus one?
• 6:45
Oh, I guess. Probably. I don't see why not. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Uh, two-wheel stuff. Oh. Uh, r- Riding my bike... it doesn't have pedals though, 'cause I've- Uh-oh...
• 6:56
for the first time this year, I pulled my motorcycle [laughs] out of the garage. Oh. Charged the...
• 7:01
Well, had to put a new battery in, 'cause, uh, yeah, I was kinda negligent in keeping that thing going, but the good weather got me thinking about riding the bike. It didn't start. So I did. It- It started...
• 7:11
did after I put a new battery in it. Oh, nice, nice. But once I, I got that, we talked about that little scooter-looking thing I got that Sydney's using.
• 7:17
I, I started riding that around wh- when we were first getting it moving. I'm like, "Damn, I like riding motorcycles," so. Right. [laughs] Sam, you ride any bikes this year?
• 7:25
Uh, I took mine out for probably maybe about a little 15-mile, maybe 20-mile jaunt, just maybe about an hour or so one day. [laughs] Running great. I really neglected it quite a bit these last couple summers.
• 7:37
I really have neglected it. I've done more mountain biking, to be honest. [laughs] Well, that's not a bad thing. I've got no problem with that.
• 7:42
[laughs] So we haven't, we haven't- But that thing needs to run a little bit. It's does- just doesn't get run enough. We haven't, uh- Give Big- We haven't seen Sam in a long time... have Big Sam drive it.
• 7:50
Yeah, I was thinking that. It's been a long- Yeah, it has... 10 months, six months since- I haven't seen you since Locust Street Day and that horrid weather. And I hadn't seen it for a long time before- Yeah...
• 8:00
that at that point, either. Yeah. That weather was just atrocious. That was the- Yeah... wind and cold- Oh, my gosh... rain and- It was cold. Ugh. So what has your, uh, cycling summer been like? You know, not too crazy.
• 8:11
Uh, one thing I did that was pretty noteworthy, I was up, uh, and did that Wind Man up in the Mercer area. It's, uh... What is that? There's a more... Boulder, not Boulder Junction. Boulder Junction? Wisconsin.
• 8:27
[laughs] It's about 20 miles north of Minocqua area, and I'm just- Yeah, yeah. Not... I think Manitowish Waters is the name I'm looking for. Okay. That's where, that's the bigger area that it's closer to. Right.
• 8:39
But Wind Man was just amazing. Uh, lots of machine-built trails, lots of trails still in the works. Uh, one thing I found amazing about it, that it just, it can accommodate any rider very easily.
• 8:51
Um, it has a lot of features off to the side that are very well-marked, and the rest of it is pretty fairly easy pedaling without too much climbing that anyone couldn't handle. Ooh.
• 9:01
So I found it to be just a, an amazing way to take your girlfriend or, and just about, for the wh- for the whole family very easily. And if you want the features, they're there. Exactly. Yeah.
• 9:12
And they're, and they're no joke either. [laughs] Yeah. Nice. There's gaps and everything you'd imagine on a, you know, a, a pretty big time type of, you know- Yeah, I think, I mean, I've-...
• 9:22
uh, a pretty ambitious trail. I haven't ridden a ton of machine-built trails in Wisconsin. The, we did some up at Telemark last year, but they did a lot more this year that I haven't ridden yet.
• 9:31
Just- And then the Sylvan Trail in Wausau area- Oh, yeah, I've heard of that... that is- I haven't had a chance to do that... it's a big loopy climb thing, and then there's, you know, your green, your blue, your black.
• 9:41
Mm-hmm. Black, not for me. Like, they have these- [laughs]... they have these skill tests at the beginning, so if you can't do that first four-foot drop- Mm... you might wanna consider one of the other trails. Gotcha.
• 9:51
You know, it's just- Perfect way to sort that out. Yeah, you're just like- I like that... "I'm not doing that. I'll go over here by the blue one." You know? Mm-hmm.
• 9:57
That, well, that one, instead of having rounded top- Mm-hmm... it has tabletops. Mm-hmm. So it's like, well, I can either roll it or I can, you know- Yeah... case it real bad. [laughs] Mm-hmm.
• 10:08
But, um, I thought it was- Yeah...
• 10:10
a good way to kind of make sure that you're not getting into something over your head because I, they, they don't have, or at least at that time, they didn't have really good ways to get around stuff. You were- Mm-hmm...
• 10:21
kinda committed to it. You're like- Yeah... "Yep, I gotta do this." Pretty good. But yeah, good stuff in Wisconsin. That's in a park? Is that- Yeah. Yeah. Nice. Yeah.
• 10:30
Uh, it, it has an amazing chalet next to it with a shop and everything. It's been, it's really a pretty, pretty incredible spot. I, it's a lot of money. Cool. Cool. Sweet. Got a green, got a green light here.
• 10:43
I got, I gotta push the talk button. Button. Hey, welcome to the radio program. Caller, who do we have on the line? Uh, this is Big Sexy Chuck, and it is brought to you by Jagermeister. [laughs] Mm, Jagermeister.
• 10:56
Are they, are they, uh- You can't find it in Tennessee. No? What's the point of going to Tennessee? How y'all doing? Doing well. How are you? Hanging in there. I'm in Lenoir City, Tennessee.
• 11:08
I did not- About, about, uh, 40 miles away from the Great Smoky Mountain. Right on. So it's a little hilly around here, but I'm having a great time. It's beautiful. Weather been treating you well?
• 11:20
And, uh, things are looking up. It, we have... The, the weather especially is treating me well. It's been, like, low 70s. A little chilly in the morning. You know, I got a sweatshirt for that.
• 11:33
I got a sleeping bag for overnight, you know, blah, blah, blah. A little chilly in the mornings, and then, and then about, you know, midday it's like, "Oh, man. It's getting hot. I better take off this sweatshirt."
• 11:43
And I'm wearing my, I'm wearing my River West T-shirt. Yeah, man. I see where you are, and I'm smooshing you. [laughs] Well, we moved, so you might be smooshing- I know where you are. I'm smooshing all of you...
• 11:56
you might be smooshing the old place. [laughs] Yeah, you're likely smooshing the old place. I'm crushing, crushing you. I'm crushing you. Crushing you. My, my fingers are big enough, I'm getting all of it.
• 12:05
[laughs] That's true. It is close. Right on. What, what's been happening- Yeah, um-... with your ride the, the last... We haven't talked to you for a little bit.
• 12:12
I, I know you called in once, but I think we were on a different day schedule [laughs] or something. Right, something like that.
• 12:18
Um, when I went to W- when I was in Wooster, when I was in Woos- Wooster, Ohio with my friends there, I replaced the right rim and I put all three brand new tires on. Nice.
• 12:32
I'll tell you what, I'm al- I'm already damn near Georgia and I don't have a broken spoke, and the tires are looking great. Fantastic.
• 12:42
Yeah, that's a l- I mean, I'm, I'm, like, I'm sitting here going, "Okay, wh- when's..." You k- you know when the ax- I'm good... is gonna fall- Thanks a lot... is when I'm right in the middle of goddamn podunk Georgia,
• 12:53
and it, y- you know, it's gonna, it's just gonna be one of those things. I'm, I'm gonna be so close to Atlanta, I'm gonna be so close to Atlanta and guess what? Butt. Chicken butt. Chicken butt. I'm not doing it.
• 13:09
  I'm not doing it. I'm not going to know Atlanta. [laughs] It's football season, it's not... I can't do it. I get, I get sick when I see Falcons gear, and I, I, I, I, I'm not... I, I can't. I can't do it.
• 13:22
[laughs] Well, nobody says you have to either. Okay. That's the beauty of how you're living out there in the world. Right.
• 13:29
Reme- remember that I do, I, I do, uh, I do collect state capitals, and I'm very, I'm damn near a big one. The one that you- So I'm not doing it. One- I'm gonna- Is it one that you haven't collected before,
• 13:43
or do you have it already? Yeah. Atlanta. Yeah, no, I, I have not been to Atlanta yet. Oh, okay. Not yet, huh? Huh.
• 13:50
Well- And I'm, and I'm gonna be, like, 20 miles from, I'm gonna be, like, 20 miles from the state capital building and I'm, I'm still not gonna do it. I'm not... No.
• 13:58
[laughs] And, um- You, you got pretty strong feelings about that. Oh, and I, um, I don't know. Uh, I know y'all are Packers fa- Packers fans and Brewer fans, but I mean, I, I hate
• 14:15
Atlanta, I hate the Falcons, and I, uh, I would end up getting my ass kicked or arrested or both. Oh. Why? Yeah. Just don't talk about sports- Yeah... and go to the fucking town. Sports ball. Who cares?
• 14:28
[laughs] I, I don't get it, man. Yeah, I'll... It, it, it, no, it's, it's fi- it's fine. We can brush past that. And another thing is Atlanta is fucking huge. That's for sure. That's true. That's true. Yeah. Google Maps-
• 14:41
It, it's huge... Go- Google... In Google Maps, Google Maps does not care what neighborhood it brings you through. Mm-hmm. Oh, no. That's, yeah, it's- It doesn't tell you what kind of... Y- you know?
• 14:54
[laughs] I mean, it could bring you to the fucking ghetto and I wouldn't know. I wouldn't know until I got there. Yeah, I haven't been down that way for a long time- Do you hear what I'm saying?...
• 15:02
so I don't, I don't remember- Yeah, well- I think it's fairly spotty. It's like- My, my daughter just applied there. [laughs] Yeah. To Georgia Tech? Yeah. [laughs] Nice. I'm, I'm sure it's fine. Yeah.
• 15:14
Don't get me wrong, I'm not... Um, if they, if they come to New Orleans and treat us like that, how are they gonna treat me when I'm in Atlanta? Fuck that. [laughs] I'm not going. Well, he- here's something for you.
• 15:28
We're, we're at the top of the hill over here. I think we did, we talked about this beer last week, right? Well, I think we talked about it last week, but we can talk about it again. Did we? Uh- I like this beer.
• 15:36
This beer came from, uh, Jake over at The Bike Fed when I helped him out with his bike. It's, uh, Lakefront Agave Sun. Love it. It's actually a summer beer, but- It's-... it's still tasty. It's a year-round beer.
• 15:46
Yeah, it's crisp and, and, and citrusy. Right? What do you think? Is it all right? I like it a lot. And not, not, not Boozerholly really at all- Mm-hmm... so that's good.
• 15:55
Of course, we don't have the Jagermeister to back it up, and Big Sexy, uh- Wait, you reminded me of Boozerholly. Huh? I was at Adult on Thursday, and we decided to have a, uh, extended play NA from Lakefront. Yes. Right.
• 16:13
That's a great beer. Nice. I literally... The entire time I'm drinking it I'm like, "Really?" [laughs] I just kept looking at it, I'm like...
• 16:20
It's, it's a very nice NA beer, so all my NA beer listeners out there, check it out. Check it out. Ooh. Big Sexy, you're doing the Hamm's thing? Huh? Are you doing the Hamm's thing down there?
• 16:34
Um, well, it, it's very hard to find PBR, let alone Hamm's. Mm. [laughs] Um, and it's, it's really... Uh, Ja- Jagermeister is few and far between.
• 16:45
Uh, uh, you gotta, you gotta find a liquor store, which is very hard to find in Tennessee. But you can buy beer at the gas stations, some of them, but I, I lost my ID in Eau Claire, so a lot of places- [laughs]...
• 17:00
ha- need your ID to sell you beer, so I've been having a hard time getting beer, too. Oh. Why don't you get an ID? I remember, uh, Dave Lunz and I did a trip down to- Because I'm Louisiana. Yeah.
• 17:12
Uh, Lunz and I did a trip down there where, in the, in the Tennessee, Tennessee Valley area by Fontana Dam and whatnot, and wherever we- That's, that's right where I'm at... Well, wherever we picked was a dry county. Mm.
• 17:25
So we had to drive s- I was like, "Oh, boy"... we had to drive something like 40 miles to grab beer and come back. And we just keep going.
• 17:33
[laughs] And we cracked open that one beer, and we're so tired from the day of riding that we fell asleep immediately after wasting- [laughs]... an hour and a half to go get beer. [laughs] Mm. Yeah. Font- All right...
• 17:43
there's some, there's some awesome off-road- Yeah... uh, mountain bike riding right around Font- Fontana Dam there. Oh. Very awesome. I'll tell you, I'll tell you what. I have, I have seen... It has been so beautiful.
• 17:55
South of Lexington, um, south of Lexington the hills have been so beautiful. The hills have not been that bad. I mean, every hill, for Heather, is, is a fucking workout. But, um- Yeah...
• 18:09
but it, I mean, I'll, I'll tell you what, it is so gorgeous, especially with the colors and all that. I went to, I went to Noah's Ark, uh, just north of Lexington. There's a town called Williamstown,
• 18:24
Kentucky, and they built- Oh yeah, I know about this... according to the Bible, they, they built Noah's Ark. Oh, it's- Wow...
• 18:33
the actual ark, like, like- And I pulled- [laughs] Like here, the Noah's- They explain dinosaurs in there Well, Noah's Ark here is a water park. Right. It's a- Right, right. That's why I was starting to laugh...
• 18:42
it's not the actual ark. [laughs] No, no, no. But you would've been- No, no. And, and I'll, I'll tell you what, it is absolutely- Yeah... it is absolutely huge. Yeah, the Chinese.
• 18:50
And y- y- you look at it from a distance and you say, "Goddamn, I, I think they probably could fit two of every creature in that thing." [laughs] And then you g- you go... So, so here's what happened. Like T-Rexes.
• 19:02
I pulled up, I just wanted to check it out, right? I didn't know what it was. Mm-hmm. But, uh, apparently it's like a theme park, like, style thing. Yep. And I looked at the price to get in, it was 50 bucks. Yep.
• 19:14
My sister went. I said, "Well, I guess I'm not going to this."
• 19:18
And this, uh, this big, this big dude with fucking tactical gear and a large cannon on his back, and, and says, says, "Hey, uh, do you got any explosives or any weapons in your, uh, in your pack there?"
• 19:32
I said, "Well, I have a hatchet." And he goes, "Well, is it gonna stay in the basket?" I said, "Yes, sir." He said, "Do you wanna see the ark?" And I said, "Well, I, I, I suppose, but I, I'm not paying 50 bucks."
• 19:46
He goes, "You're gonna go see the ark." He bought me a ticket with his employee discount, still came to 30 bucks. Huh, wow. Well, there- And then-... Little Santa... then I felt, I felt obligated.
• 19:58
I, I m- I'm like, "I'm, I'm gonna take this all in. I'm gonna look at every display. I'm gonna walk through this gigantic boat." I mean, it's four, four floors, and it's of, of course it's very, very religious.
• 20:12
But I took it all in and I, I watched all the movies and I, it, you know- That person believes... horribly acted movies and- [laughs]... and stuff like that.
• 20:21
And then I went out, went and, uh, hung out with some kangaroos and a couple of camels, and I said, "Okay, let's get the fuck back on Heather and go drink some beer and have a good day." Yeah. It was awesome.
• 20:31
Is, is, uh, is Noah's Ark an alcohol-free zone? I'm sure. [laughs] Well, no, I mean, I mean, I had to... You- Does the gift shop sell beer?...
• 20:39
you gotta take a bus from the parking lot to the ark, so y- I, I had to leave all my beer behind. But yeah, no, I, I didn't see any place where you could buy a beer.
• 20:47
I'm gonna have to Google Earth that thing just to see it from the air. Yeah. It's, my sister and her husband went and- But it, it-... because they're religious... dude, it's absolutely- Makes sense...
• 20:56
it's absolutely massive. It's, it's... The, the zoo, the zoo where all the animals are supposed to be is very underwhelming. They've got a sloth, they've got a couple of lizards- [laughs]...
• 21:08
they got a couple of kangaroos, they got a couple of camels. And you know, it's funny, I was gonna ask- But, uh-...
• 21:14
I was gonna ask you to tell us an animal story before you started talking about the ark, and like what animals have you encountered on the road. But- It's the sloth is honestly [laughs] the best... but sloth, I, I...
• 21:24
Just like, uh, John Matuszak. Right. Yeah. Christian Bale. I, I saw, I saw me a porcupine, uh, south of Lexington.
• 21:32
The porcupine, like, came up to the road, but then, uh, as I was approaching it, a big old truck came by, so it scared it off. That may be a good thing. So I saw a porcupine. Don't they shoot their quills at you?
• 21:42
They can. I found- Mi- might've taken Heather's tire out. They can. Right? And, and I would've been pissed about that. Um- Damn porcupine...
• 21:50
but, uh, uh, I also, uh, I also came across my first dead armadillo on the road. That means I'm in the South now. Oh, yeah. As I look at that. Sounds good.
• 21:59
And, uh, so, but yeah, so the plan, the plan is, is to get into Florida. I'm gonna spend a month in the Tampa area and then head over to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and all that. Sounds good.
• 22:12
Uh- Not looking forward to Georgia at all, but- Right on. Yeah, we kind of established that earlier. [laughs] Uh, so yeah, we- I'm sorry. Sorry... so. Oh, no, no worries. [laughs] I'm just saying.
• 22:24
Uh, so yeah, we got Sam D in here today, so we're gonna pick up with him again, but anything you wanna leave us with before we make the switch? Make the switch. Oh, um, shout out to Tim Holtz and his brother Michael.
• 22:37
His brother Michael met up with me in Okra, Tennessee, and he, uh, he met with me and we talked, we talked for about an hour and a half, and he, and he put out a blog about me. And yeah- [laughs]...
• 22:48
he, and he put my Venmo at the end of it. Right on. So, um, I'm, my story's getting out there. Is he- Nice... is he still in New Orleans? Who? Tim. Tim Holtz is in M- Milwaukee.
• 23:01
Oh, 'cause he was in New Orleans for a while too. He was out in Milwaukee. I, yeah, know he's, he was, came from here, but he was down there for a while in, in New Orleans. So yeah.
• 23:09
Nah, he, he, he's, he's in Milwau- he's in Milwaukee. He's, he is, he is, uh, one of my number one contributors. That's awesome. Especially when I'm down and out and I need a, I need a quickie. Yeah.
• 23:19
[laughs] Um- He's also-... uh, and his brother, his brother Michael is a very awesome fella, and, uh, he did a blog about me and all that. So I wanna shout out to them.
• 23:29
Man, thank you guys so much, and if you could put a, put a little link to my Venmo, it'd be awesome. Yep. I mean- Put it in the show notes. Yeah... right now I'm doing okay, but I am heading to Georgia. Right.
• 23:40
[laughs] Well, send, send me the link to the blog post. We'll get that too, uh, in the show notes. And by the way- Oh, sure. I'll, I'll get-... Tim, Tim is really, really, really tall. Nice. He's very tall. Yeah.
• 23:52
His brother's a- Like, like 6'8" or something. He's just massive... his brother's a big motherfucker too. Yeah, they're, they're big guys, for sure. Awesome. Well, I didn't know he was- Yeah... back in Milwaukee.
• 24:00
I'm gonna have to look him up, 'cause I thought he was still down south, but, uh- So- All right, Big Sexy... well, at least that's where he was w- during the 24, and I was like, "Well, can we hook up?"
• 24:10
And he's like, "Well, I, I can't really do nothing." And then I was on my way with, uh, Coyote to the, to the Mississippi of Michigan. Yeah, man. All right. Okay, Big Sexy. Catch up with us soon. Thank you.
• 24:24
Have a good- You guys take it easy... all right, bye. [laughs] Everybody, that was Big Sexy. Big Sexy. Armadillos and sloths and whatnot. Sloths.
• 24:33
[laughs] Yeah, my, they do ha- a- apparently at that arc, God, we're going off on a deep end here now, that they do apparently have pictures or scenes of humans and dinosaurs walking together.
• 24:46
Well, that was only 6,000 years ago. All right, yeah. So obviously- Personally, yes... obviously they must walk- 6,000... together. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I, whew.
• 24:56
Well, I s- I wouldn't say Big Sexy was big on the religion thing. N- no, I think he did very well. [laughs] [laughs] He got further than I would've ever gotten. [laughs] Ah, "Do you have any explosives in there?"
• 25:08
"Why yes, I was planning on blowing up the ark." Yeah. [laughs] "Well, you may not come in then, thank you very- Better than only-... but have a nice day." [laughs] I'll turn around and leave then. Oh, man.
• 25:16
He is white at least, you know. I mean, he's got that going for him. Oh. Whoa. [laughs] Well, [laughs] right before Big Sexy called in, I was, uh, mentioning the motorcycling thing.
• 25:27
What, what that started with was, have you been down on Beach Road lately? Mm-mm. Up there in Fox Point? They have done a lot of work on where the beach used to be is now a lots of the rocks. Oh.
• 25:44
And they're trying to- Preserve it?... preserve it, but now that the lake is actually receding again, [laughs] it's, it was coming up over that road down there. That's why they- Yeah, it got rooted...
• 25:55
kind of did a, did a big job on it. But I was surprised. I'll put up a couple pictures in the show notes, but it was definitely, uh, a big construction project down there on Beach Road.
• 26:04
Well, those Fox Point people can afford it. I don't think, I think the city's doing it- [laughs]... 'cause it's protecting the road. It's got, g- gotta come off taxes somehow, but Craig, come on.
• 26:12
Yeah, somebody had to go, "Hey." What? Yeah. [laughs] Well, not, not- It's good... not the person whose house isn't there anymore, but that wasn't because of the water. Right. I put my hands on my hips- It's good...
• 26:21
kind of like a- Yeah... North Shore Nancy slash- Oh... disgruntled soccer fan Here's a, here- [laughs] Here's a bike thing. Global Fat Bike Day, folks. Oh. December 2nd.
• 26:32
Decem- It's the first Saturday in December, which this year is on the 2nd of December. Would that probably land on the same day as the Rampage? Well, let's hope next time. No, Rampage is the 3rd- Oh...
• 26:43
'cause it's Cleon's birthday- Oh... again. Huh. Well, that might open up the, uh, opportunities for global fat biking, 'cause heck, nay, that's only a month away or a little more. Yeah, pretty much.
• 26:56
[laughs] I don't have anything in- I haven't even planned, I need to plan my Thanksgiving dinner. [laughs] And I haven't even gotten through my Halloween. Dude, I, dude, I have to close on a house. Well.
• 27:07
[laughs] I have to stop paying two mortgages. This would be a good thing for Tony. Cha, cha. I'll make- Uh, I'll make some extra stuffing for you. I hate stuffing. I love- I love stuffing... it. I know.
• 27:20
Everyone loves stuffing but me. Wet bread, baby. Warm, hot, flavorful, wet bread. God, that sounds terrible. Yeah. Every second of that sounds horrible. Good stuff, man. I know, I know.
• 27:29
Are you doing a turducken this year? No, no. [laughs] But I might, I'm, I'm probably gonna break out the smoker for no other reason. Than you haven't used it all year? That sounds good, yeah. Pretty much. Right on.
• 27:41
How long is it gonna take? So yeah, I don't know. You have, like, one smoked turkey just to see if it works. Oh, it does work. Well, yeah, but- And then you-...
• 27:49
you'll have your backup turkey that you actually- If it's- I, I like to deep fry... warm enough and the Thumb Heats window's open, you could just- Yeah. Oh, yeah... direct some smoke into the window. Exactly.
• 27:57
But the way, it's one of those bullet smokers. So you put it on the top,
• 28:01
uh, go down to Cermak and get yourself some pork belly and cut that up, and then you smoke up the pork belly, and the pork belly juice go dropping d- down onto your- Hang on, dripping on down. Just be- There...
• 28:12
naturally basting that turkey below it. Mm, oh my God. So yeah. Does sound good. So you will, you will multi-mingle meat- Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Why hell not? Awesome.
• 28:22
Plus it gives you an excuse just to like, "Okay, I'm just gonna go outside- While we're, while-... away from everybody"... while we're talking about meat, Sad... I don't care if it's raining and shitty. [laughs] Right?
• 28:32
Gonna sit out here with a fucking umbrella and da, da, da. Hey, let's- While we're, uh, talking about meat- Talk about meat... it was, uh, Daniel's birthday- I'll ride my bike back there-... yesterday...
• 28:39

• 29:01
Uh- Yeah, Sunday... Sunday. Sunday? Goddamn Gallows are up there at Appleton Beer Factory. Guess where you could go by on your way to said Goddamn Gallows show? If it is a Saturday- Heltz... you go to Heltz.
• 29:10
You go to Heltz. Sunday they're- Wait... not open. Are they? Was it a Sunday? I don't know. It's the 29th. Saturday. I, my, my math isn't good right now. Sunday, that's not good, man. That's, that's Heltz.
• 29:18
Can't go to Bernie's, can't go to Heltz. Right? You gotta sigh as you drive by. Cleon always does. So Sunday, she's like, "[sighs] From the backseat of the car, she's like- So-... "Shit."...
• 29:28
Daniel Goddamn Gallows is what I'm saying. Yeah, that'd be good. Is it playing with, uh, Hank Four or? I do not know. This was something I discovered r- m- a couple weeks ago and put it on here.
• 29:37
Uh, and I know I- So no other bands together out there? The Apple Towns? Excuse me, Appleton Beer Factory. Oh. Oh, God, it's been a while since I've been to The Apple Towns. I, yeah. Ah. Used to work there. In Appleton?

• 30:56
They're expecting 2,000 participants. What? In that little park?
• 30:59
Well, I think they do a bunch of different groups, and it goes all day long, and it's kinda like, uh, it's kinda like when they do a Downer Avenue road bike race. Who fix the grass when they're done?
• 31:07
Uh, I think somebody has to pay for that. Yeah. Because that's how it works. You can't screw shit up and not fix your shit. Uh, guess what the next day is? End of daylight savings time. Oh, yeah. Thank God. Why?
