Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Well and Ted and and myself and we're gonna cover kind of what's happening.
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Uh kind of what's news uh news and noteworthy in in the world of AI, which honestly every week I feel like there was probably five other topics right this week, clearly, that we could have jumped into.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: But the one that we selected was uh McKinsey put out a report on the state of AI in 2026.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: Do you guys dig these reports?
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: I'm just curious.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: Do you what do you guys like high level?
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: You see all the state of X or the state of Y.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: What do you guys think high level when when you see one of these come out?
- 0:35SPEAKER_02: I mean, mixed feelings, right?
- 0:36SPEAKER_02: Like I I love it.
- 0:38SPEAKER_02: I want to see all the stats.
- 0:39SPEAKER_02: You know, it's survey responses, so I it's not the you know, most exciting that the data could be, but it it's awesome.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:48SPEAKER_02: And people look at them, right?
- 0:50SPEAKER_02: Like I know we have customers that'll go and see that and then go, hey, other people are doing this.
- 0:56SPEAKER_02: Could we could we look at doing that?
- 0:58SPEAKER_02: And that's awesome.
- 0:58SPEAKER_02: Like I want to see things grow, and the reports are always good for that.
- 1:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:04SPEAKER_03: I think I agree definitely.
- 1:08SPEAKER_03: And also sometimes you look at it and you're like, oh, that's that's advanced common sense.
- 1:14SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 1:14SPEAKER_03: Of course.
- 1:15SPEAKER_03: Why wouldn't you think that way, or why wouldn't you, you know, before entering into any type of initiative, why would why wouldn't you be thinking that?
- 1:23SPEAKER_03: But that report in particular I thought was very good.
- 1:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:26SPEAKER_03: Um, on the emphasis of the workflow and emphasis on results.
- 1:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:29SPEAKER_02: I feel like there's some things in there, and we'll get to them that are not advanced common sense.
- 1:33SPEAKER_02: Like there were some things in there that were like, yeah, kind of a surprise.
- 1:36SPEAKER_02: Like which is pretty cool.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: Uh or like things I thought were actually pretty interesting.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: So if I start to me, if I start well, let me start by saying uh Katie, you had said that you know it was a survey.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: So I like I like level setting on this too.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: So it was an online survey uh conducted from May to June of this year.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: So I I like seeing that because it's it's a recent data point, um, knowing that you know this field is constantly changing.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: So these survey results were from May to June of 2026, covered over a hundred or nearly a hundred countries, so lots of global representation.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: And then 36% of the respondents work for organizations with more than a billion in annual revenue.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: So we'll probably be in that list like next year, maybe yeah, yeah.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: The trend continues.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: The trend continues, yeah.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: It's moving.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: DJ.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Um, and then as far as like the level and the role, so 650 C level, 400 or so execs, 200 mid-level, and 200 IC or individual contributors.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: So that's I mean, pretty pretty good spread.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Any thoughts on that before?
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: I think it's awesome that they have a good spread, right?
- 2:46SPEAKER_02: Like it is, if you just ask the C level what's happening, you're gonna get the what is this doing our bottom line, which is awesome, right?
- 2:54SPEAKER_02: But like you're not getting what the personal productivity and things like that, like you need to see from the IC perspective from that mid-level perspective as well.
- 3:02SPEAKER_02: Like, it's great that they don't just do here's the state of AI for the C-suite.
- 3:06SPEAKER_02: It's it's awesome.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: Okay, so I'm gonna start to me with what the stuff I did not find surprising.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: So if you guys find this stuff surprising, please uh please jump in.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: Oh, Katie's no, she's gonna jump in already.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: Okay, so in my not surprising list, the first thing was that AI use is increasing across both small and large organizations.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: Totally not surprised by that.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: I'm assuming you guys aren't either.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: Second one is that as I read it, I feel like one of the subtexts was agents, agents everywhere, but coding agents, specifically software coding agents, are still appearing to be the killer app.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: Any surprises there?
- 3:48SPEAKER_03: Not really.
- 3:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah no, not really.
- 3:51SPEAKER_03: Particularly in our bus like from our just looking at it from our lens, yeah, yeah.
- 3:54SPEAKER_03: Not a surprise.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: I'm uh I'm I'm interested too, like uh when we start uh assuming that OpenAI and Anthropic go public, I'd be curious to know percent of all tokens.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: What percent of all tokens are coding tokens today?
- 4:10SPEAKER_02: I mean, yeah, I think over under on that?
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: What are you where are you where would you say that is?
- 4:15SPEAKER_02: Oh well, okay, are we considering coding or are we considering code and planning projects, getting tickets into your like is all of that going towards it?
- 4:24SPEAKER_02: I would uh 30%, 40%.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: 30%, 40%.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: Okay, so still under 50%.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: I would think more.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: What were you gonna say?
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: Oh I was gonna say that too.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:35SPEAKER_02: I I don't know.
- 4:35SPEAKER_02: I feel like you're gonna have people well, it depends.
- 4:39SPEAKER_02: I think there's gonna be a whole bunch of like really, really simple tasks that people you maybe didn't need an agent for, but they're using it.
- 4:46SPEAKER_02: I think some of those are gonna be, you know, surprising big users.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:50SPEAKER_02: But yeah, like the the coding piece, and you know, no surprise, I think, to get into software development, you kind of have to be curious about tech.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:57SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 4:58SPEAKER_02: Like that's the crowd that's gonna get excited about new tech is the crowd that's doing the software development.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: So pretty awesome to see.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: Okay, then the last one to me that was not a surprise, and I think something we can all echo with how we think about this and our customers.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: But uh token, I guess from the response and response to the survey, token costs are certainly an issue.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: So everybody's concerned about token cost, but nobody is budgeting less for AI spend next year.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: So even though there's constraints on tokens and we all agree that they're getting expensive, no one is looking at cutting that cost.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: I mean, in general, people are and they're actually looking at expanding it.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: Is anybody surprised by that?
- 5:41SPEAKER_02: Not surprised by that.
- 5:42SPEAKER_02: I do the one thing I think that's gonna come into that though is the conversation that I think we end up pinging on every week of you know, open weights, are there play are there places where if I'm doing enough volume, does it make sense to use a local model?
- 5:57SPEAKER_02: So like there's there's some of those are gonna come up where the higher token cost goes, the more constraints we see there.
- 6:02SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: But I don't think it's gonna affect budget.
- 6:04SPEAKER_02: Like that's no surprise.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean tokens aren't going anywhere.
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Okay, so here's uh I'll just cherry pick some of these, but you guys feather in other ones that that you think are interesting.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: So uh one of the interesting things that I thought I I would say to me this was actually a surprise.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: So in the 2023 survey, 55% of respondents said their organizations use AI in at least one business function.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: In 2026, this had increased to 90%.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: So to me, honestly, I know AI is topic de jour, and we just I just got done saying I'm not surprised that AI spending is gonna increase and adoption is increased.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: But man, I guess the part I was like probably not surprised at when I think about it, but surprised to see on paper is an adoption of a technology go from 50% to almost, I mean to 90% is almost like total saturation, like the prevalence, the immediacy of the technology just being adopted everywhere.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: To me, it was like, man, I'm not surprised, but then seeing the numbers on paper, it's like this is where has there been can you think of something that we all have adopted within a year just immediately?
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: Like not even the iPhone.
- 7:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 7:26SPEAKER_03: Or how long did it take for Google?
- 7:28SPEAKER_03: Right, you know, where it became a verb or a noun.
- 7:32SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 7:33SPEAKER_03: I think it's both.
- 7:34SPEAKER_03: I think it's both.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: But it is interesting, like when Google, um what year did you guys what year do you think you started using Google?
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: Like what were the competitors were web crawler, Lycos, Ass Jeeves?
- 7:45SPEAKER_02: Ask Jeeves?
- 7:46SPEAKER_02: I can tell you I got a Gmail in 2004.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, who's a Gmail?
- 7:49SPEAKER_02: 2004, I got I think it's 2004, maybe 2005.
- 7:52SPEAKER_02: I got a Gmail.
- 7:53SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 7:53SPEAKER_03: But like I was still on AOL.
- 7:57SPEAKER_02: How long was Amazon just books?
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 8:00SPEAKER_02: Like how long was it a really kind of bad UI for buying books?
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: But even like, okay, so cell phones, right?
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: Like clearly I mean, how many years did it take you guys to get your first iPhone or iPhone compatible thing?
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: Were were you right were you right away?
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: iPhone seven six, maybe okay.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, so multiple years after.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: What about you?
- 8:23SPEAKER_03: I was Android until uh until I converted.
- 8:27SPEAKER_03: So yeah, it was probably uh maybe a couple years after you.
- 8:31SPEAKER_02: Made the right choice.
- 8:32SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 8:32SPEAKER_03: I know, yeah.
- 8:34SPEAKER_03: And it's yeah, it's it's a just yeah, the rate of adoption.
- 8:38SPEAKER_03: Um and I remember seeing a stat on how many users it took or how many years it took for Google to get to a hundred million users or something like that, and then how fast you know, chat GPT or the other L LLMs got to that in like a fraction of the time.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: And and you know, and then you put in the dynamic of consumer versus you know enterprise.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: And it's like, what about in the enterprise?
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: What what other what other technology application, software, whatever, like what what had been adopted this quickly?
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: Anything even remotely?
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: Anything, yeah.
- 9:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like if I look at you know, from an analytics standpoint, right?
- 9:19SPEAKER_02: You've got Tableau was king, and then all of a sudden, like it took Microsoft years to buy market share in that and to get Power BI up and running, like it, it years, yeah.
- 9:29SPEAKER_02: But it's what I would ask on that question though, because you say 90%, if we look at business functions within a company, yeah, I would love to know which company has an IT business function and isn't using it at all.
- 9:43SPEAKER_02: If you have not adopted AI at all, actually reach out to us if that's please let me know.
- 9:47SPEAKER_02: I really want to know how what's going on with your company if you're not adopting it in the tech side.
- 9:52SPEAKER_03: And another way to look at it is what we were just describing, because you said Ask Jeeves and some of the others, and there's good there was an evolution, you know, you had word perfect, and then you had word, and then so you had an evolution in the technologies get better and all of that.
- 10:10SPEAKER_03: But with this, it was just right out of the gate from an adoption standpoint.
- 10:14SPEAKER_03: Usually it takes there's an evolution, and and here it was right for sure.
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: Oh, and I'm curious on this too.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: Uh and I'm not a uh, you know, I love LinkedIn, but I I never I don't have a Facebook account, but it's also you know, Facebook wasn't the first mover either, right?
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: Right, you know, what was it?
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: My space, yeah, right.
- 10:31SPEAKER_02: Top eight.
- 10:32SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 10:32SPEAKER_02: You'd be in my top eight.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: And maybe, maybe it's just I don't even know what that means.
- 10:37SPEAKER_02: Maybe it's just um oh you had a friend list and you had to you had to identify your top eight friends.
- 10:45SPEAKER_02: Oh and so if you're mad at somebody when you I was a teenager when this has happened and you're mad, you move them off your top eight and see how long it takes them to notice.
- 10:53SPEAKER_02: It's real petty.
- 10:54SPEAKER_02: Teenagers are petty.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: That sounds, that sounds, sounds like something I would have enjoyed.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: Um, well, let me link this then to the second thing.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: So, you know, uh to me, and I think I think you guys are gonna be in the same way, but but to me, the other interesting part was this dichotomy of so you know, of the people that responded, 80% of them said that AI improves their productivity.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: So again, you know, not unanimous, but like 80%, it's like, yes, like uh we generally all agree we're all more efficient with AI.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: But then at the same time, at the enterprise level, you know, the way that McKinsey kind of grouped this is they said they asked the question or or they quantified, they did they did not ask the question, they quantified it this way, which was they they said, if you are um if AI has a significant impact in profitability, that was the question they asked the the survey respondents.
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: And so only six percent of respondents said that AI was actually having an impact on profitability.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: However, 80% of the respondents said that they're more productive with uh with AI.
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: So so how is it we're more efficient, so we should be doing more, faster, better, stronger.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but none of that, I won't say none of it, but it's it's not showing up materially in the bottom line.
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: What what's happening?
- 12:23SPEAKER_03: Do you want this one?
- 12:25SPEAKER_03: I got an answer.
- 12:25SPEAKER_03: You got it.
- 12:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:28SPEAKER_03: I want to hear it.
- 12:28SPEAKER_03: So one of the quotes, and I'm cheating because I pulled it out and put on the paper this whole time.
- 12:33SPEAKER_03: Is the focusing on the outcome.
- 12:38SPEAKER_03: So they use an example, they say bad, and uh go deploy an agent.
- 12:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah, just deploy an agent and it'll do something, right?
- 12:47SPEAKER_03: What is better is that you say, hey, reduce customer onboarding time while maintaining compliance and quality.
- 12:55SPEAKER_03: And I think that a little bit to that um that gap is people feel like they're doing something and and things are happening, right?
- 13:06SPEAKER_03: But it's really not in the end accomplishing something that's gonna deliver an ROI.
- 13:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you know, reduce customer onboarding time.
- 13:14SPEAKER_03: You're gonna get to revenue faster, the customer's gonna be happier if you focus on that rather than just deploying an agent.
- 13:20SPEAKER_03: And so I think there's there is there is some of that um as well.
- 13:24SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 13:25SPEAKER_02: No, I mean, okay, on on a good answer, I think that's the best case scenario, right?
- 13:31SPEAKER_02: Like it favorite part of what I do is can we go and figure out what your problems are?
- 13:37SPEAKER_02: Stop trying to solve tech.
- 13:38SPEAKER_02: Like you we'll figure out if tech makes sense.
- 13:41SPEAKER_02: You know, you're getting agents that you don't need, you're getting go deploy an agent just because I want an agent not actually solving a problem, and that is not gonna be great for your bottom line.
- 13:50SPEAKER_02: But if I can give you my snarky response as well, it is we might be more productive, but now I'm spending way more time reading everybody's 30-page documents that Claude generated when it could have been a two-minute conversation.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I d I definitely agree with both you.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: It actually reminds me too of something I we've talked about this a lot here, just like internally.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure how much we've communicated this externally, but I I think we probably have a little bit.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: But the the thinking on like redesigning workflows and focusing on outcomes, and I think you know, the way we used to describe it through analogies is like, you know, you know, you you can add some leverage to the business by treating AI as like a topping to a pizza, right?
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: We're gonna sprinkle it in on, we're gonna keep the same foundation, keep the same workflow.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: We're gonna sprinkle in AI, and we're gonna get 10% efficient here, and we're gonna get 15% efficient here, versus which I think McKenzie is saying where some real advantage is being had, is rebuilding the workflow, like lasagna, is that what you say?
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: Like like baking the AI, like rethinking the whole process, knowing you've got this amazing, you know, literally some of the best technology we've ever had, this intelligence layer.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: Like, how would you rethink your?
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: I won't say your business because that's a little dramatic, but like how would you rethink some of the key workflows in your business and build it ground up with like first principles, like we have AI.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: Would what maybe we don't do steps four, five, and six?
- 15:18SPEAKER_02: And but it's you it's gotta start with what what is the ends you're trying to get to, and then what are the means to get to that, right?
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: Like if I know I'm trying to get a hundred miles away, I can try and build a better bicycle or I can go and get a car, right?
- 15:33SPEAKER_02: Like stop trying to build a better bicycle.
- 15:36SPEAKER_02: And you know, there's times where like, yeah, maybe I just want my bike to be nicer, and like from a tech nerd standpoint, I want to try out can we can we tweak things and can we see things get better?
- 15:44SPEAKER_02: But like, yeah, rethink it.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: Rethink it.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: And I like this.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: So so they were, you know, if they focused on the six percent that said we we achieved meaningful uh AI contributed to meaningful profitability in in the business.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: The thing that those that these respondents did differently is they did not look at AI as an efficiency gain.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: They looked at it as a tool for innovation and growth.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: And so in instead of us all sending more emails but sending them slightly faster, it was, you know, to me, I read that as like how what are some innovations in the business that you can do now?
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: And how do you use AI?
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, it goes back.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: How do you redesign things to take more advantage of what the technology today enables?
- 16:33SPEAKER_02: What do you wish you could have done, but you've never had the technology to do?
- 16:37SPEAKER_02: And can AI open that door?
- 16:39SPEAKER_02: Like that that's the the way I look at this, and it's awesome.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: And how many, you know, we've always been doing this for a long time.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: Like, how many over the first 10 years of our business, okay?
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: How many deals do you think we looked at where the answer was yes, we we can help you, but and you know, building from scratch models is just gonna be too much of an investment to get you to where you need to get to.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: Now with the world totally in a different place, like all those opportunities come right to the right?
- 17:08SPEAKER_02: It it has been.
- 17:09SPEAKER_02: AI has been limited by either you have the tech skills or data or you have well, you got the data, and then you've got money to build it.
- 17:16SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 17:17SPEAKER_02: And now it's so much faster.
- 17:19SPEAKER_02: Like small business can get into this, which is kind of weird when you look at these and you see the efficiency is not there in small business, but like there there is so much more room where there wasn't, you know, like some of those advantages for large companies, they've had this.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:34SPEAKER_02: And AI isn't it in?
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm curious, why, why, why would so I guess that's a big differentiator that they draw.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: Why is it that small, smaller business and I it I think they're defining smaller business is less than a billion just by their thing.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: So very large businesses.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: Why are they not adopting it or not seeing the return actually on adoption like larger businesses are?
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: What's some any I mean, what's your thoughts on that?
- 17:59SPEAKER_03: I think one of the one of the clues is in the report where they talk about that 30,000 foot level and asking the question, what am I trying to do?
- 18:08SPEAKER_03: You use the bicycle um example, and one of the quotes they had was bad, employees will save time.
- 18:19SPEAKER_03: Better, the team will process more cases with the same cape capacity, and the operating plan will reflect the increased throughput.
- 18:26SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 18:27SPEAKER_03: You're you're taking it now to a mission statement.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:30SPEAKER_03: And I think that's part of it is um, you know, and and also I think there's there's silos.
- 18:35SPEAKER_03: We've built processes over the years.
- 18:38SPEAKER_03: If you've gotten to the a billion in revenue, you're probably more than 10 or 15 years old.
- 18:42SPEAKER_03: You've probably got, you know, processes and you've changed technologies and and so so people just get into a routine and you you have to break those routines to uh yeah, to be able to start to get an ROI.
- 18:56SPEAKER_02: I think I'd love if you guys, you know, let me know if you feel the same way.
- 19:00SPEAKER_02: I think there's this thing that happens with a you know a business where you've got people are starting to adopt AI and that's great.
- 19:07SPEAKER_02: And you've got this function is adopting it here, and this function is adopting it here, and these guys are adopting it, and these guys are adopting it, when honestly, you're all doing the same thing and like you have economies of scale if you look at this from a holistic perspective.
- 19:22SPEAKER_02: But I think there's maybe that adoption is slow to happen where people are doing it in these little silos and you're missing out on the bigger dollars, you're missing out on the bigger economies of scale.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, really great point.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: I fat fascinating.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: Like, I I uh like I don't know, I agree.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: Like, I know we started by saying this, but these reports are it's interesting because you know, maybe you don't maybe you disagree with uh the the method of the survey or whatever, but it's interesting to get the insights and just to see some of the trends, even if they are self-reported and and not audited.
- 19:57SPEAKER_02: It is.
- 19:57SPEAKER_02: Can I give you my one thing that I found super interesting?
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, please.
- 20:00SPEAKER_02: I think it's super neat.
- 20:02SPEAKER_02: If I remember the stats, right, it's like 39% think jobs are gonna be affected.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 20:06SPEAKER_02: And then it was 13% of people last year or this year?
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: What was that?
- 20:11SPEAKER_02: I think if for the upcoming year, 39% think we will see job cuts.
- 20:15SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 20:15SPEAKER_02: Somewhere around that number.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 20:17SPEAKER_02: And then 13% of people think they could be affected by the job cuts.
- 20:21SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
- 20:21SPEAKER_02: And it's there's I feel like we're in this nimby state.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: Well, they they're so much more efficient now.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: They can't be right.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: Right, right.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: They're much more valuable.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: I am way off proof.
- 20:31SPEAKER_02: I mean, and I don't, you know, do I think that AI's gonna come and replace all the jobs and like we're all gonna be destitute or we're all gonna be in Bali, one of the two?
- 20:40SPEAKER_02: Like, no, I think job functions are gonna change for sure.
- 20:44SPEAKER_02: But it's really interesting to think 87% of people think your job's not gonna change.
- 20:50SPEAKER_02: Like that, that is a number that's bonkers to me.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, good point.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: Great point.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: All right, well, we're gonna wrap it there.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: Uh, as usual, if um uh if you heard anything on here, you want to reach out, have another conversation, just uh just hit the hit the page, leave us a comment, send us a note.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: We're we're more than happy to jump on a call and talk through stuff.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: Love, love finding ways to meet people and and just connect and try to add value.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: Um, but until next time, keep learning, even when it's unsupervised.
