- 1:55- Scripture text comes from second Timothy one seven

- 2:00- us does not make us timid, but gives

- 2:11- what if I lose?
- 2:13- What if they say,
- 2:15- what if this doesn't work
- 2:17- before anything has actually happened? Our minds create
- 2:21- an entire future built around fear.
- 2:24- Fear focuses our attention on what could go
- 2:27- wrong while minimizing what we already know about
- 2:30- God.
- 2:31- His faithfulness,
- 2:33- his wisdom,
- 2:34- his presence,
- 2:36- his ability to sustain us.
- 2:39- Prayer doesn't require us to deny what we're
- 2:41- afraid of. It teaches us where to take
- 2:44- it.
- 2:45- Name the fear before God, then answer it
- 2:48- with scripture.
- 2:49- I'm afraid of what might happen, but God's
- 2:52- word tells me
- 2:54- that practice trains the mind to return to
- 2:57- truth. Whenever fear tries to write the ending.
- 3:00- That being said, let's pray.
- 3:04- Father God, you know, the fears I've spoken
- 3:06- and the ones I've kept hidden,
- 3:09- I bring them before you today.
- 3:11- When my thoughts begin creating outcomes that haven't
- 3:14- happened,
- 3:15- anchor me in what I already know about
- 3:17- you.
- 3:18- You are faithful.
- 3:20- You are present.
- 3:22- You are my help.
- 3:24- Give me wisdom for today's responsibilities and keep
- 3:27- me from carrying tomorrow's possibilities.
- 3:31- Let your truth become stronger in my mind
- 3:33- than my fear, and I will bless you
- 3:35- in Jesus' name.
- 3:38- Write down one fear today.
- 3:40- Underneath it, write a scripture that speaks God's
- 3:43- truth over it.
- 3:45- And if someone came to mind while you
- 3:47- were listening,
- 3:48- send this prayer to them. Your
- 3:51- share could become the reminder they needed to
- 3:54- return their thoughts to
- 4:03- God.
