GOD’S ABOUT TO DO THE IMPOSSIBLE TD JAKES purpose and power · Jakes Messages and Purpose

Speaker 1: Protect your mind from stress and find peace. You can't
• 0:05
Speaker 1: live in peace if your mind is a battlefield. And
• 0:09
Speaker 1: too many of us have allowed open access to our
• 0:12
Speaker 1: minds like it's a public park. Anyone can walk in,
• 0:15
Speaker 1: plant a seed, stir up chaos, and walk right back out.
• 0:21
Speaker 1: But today, today is the day you start guarding the
• 0:25
Speaker 1: gates because your mind is a fortress. It is holy ground.
• 0:32
Speaker 1: And not everyone, not everything deserves access. You can't keep
• 0:39
Speaker 1: replaying their words in your head like it's a broken
• 0:41
Speaker 1: record and expect your soul to be whole. You can't
• 0:46
Speaker 1: keep reliving that trauma, replaying that argument, obsessing over their
• 0:51
Speaker 1: opinions and still hope to walk in divine peace. Because
• 0:56
Speaker 1: stress is not just pressure. Stress is poison when it
• 1:01
Speaker 1: goes unchecked. It eats you from the inside out. It
• 1:06
Speaker 1: steals your sleep, wrecks your appetite, clouds your judgment, and
• 1:12
Speaker 1: slowly robs you of your purpose. But here's what they
• 1:18
Speaker 1: didn't teach you. Peace is not passive. Peace is a weapon.
• 1:29
Speaker 1: Peace will silence storms before they ever reach your shores.
• 1:33
Speaker 1: Peace will make you sleep in the boat while the
• 1:36
Speaker 1: waves rage around you. Peace will guard your heart when
• 1:40
Speaker 1: people try to tear it down. But you'll never find
• 1:44
Speaker 1: that peace until you stop handing over your mind to
• 1:48
Speaker 1: everything and everyone that comes knocking. Because some of you
• 1:53
Speaker 1: are stressed right now, and it's not even your stress
• 1:57
Speaker 1: that It's somebody else's drama, somebody else's expectation, somebody else's guilt,
• 2:04
Speaker 1: somebody else's crisis, and you're carrying it like it belongs
• 2:09
Speaker 1: to you. But you've got to learn how to say,
• 2:14
Speaker 1: that's not mine to carry. Stop volunteering for pain. Stop
• 2:21
Speaker 1: applying for stress. Stop signing up to solve battles you
• 2:26
Speaker 1: were never called to fight. You don't have to fix everybody.
• 2:30
Speaker 1: You don't have to answer every message. You don't have
• 2:33
Speaker 1: to prove your worth by over-performing, over-working, over-giving. Because when
• 2:40
Speaker 1: you try to control everything, what you're really doing is
• 2:43
Speaker 1: telling God you don't trust Him with anything. Let it go.
• 2:47
Speaker 1: Let them go. Let the idea go. Let the approval go.
• 2:55
Speaker 1: Let the plan that didn't work go. Because peace doesn't
• 2:59
Speaker 1: come from getting everything right. Peace comes from releasing what
• 3:04
Speaker 1: you cannot control. Now hear me. If you don't have
• 3:08
Speaker 1: a place of stillness inside you, you will be a
• 3:11
Speaker 1: prisoner of your surroundings. If you can't sit alone with
• 3:16
Speaker 1: yourself without needing noise, without scrolling, without filling the silence,
• 3:22
Speaker 1: you'll never hear your next direction. So many people miss
• 3:26
Speaker 1: the voice of destiny, not because it wasn't speaking, but
• 3:30
Speaker 1: because they were too loud to hear it. Build an
• 3:34
Speaker 1: altar in your mind where chaos can't reach you. Build
• 3:39
Speaker 1: an altar in your mind where chaos can't reach you.
• 3:43
Speaker 1: Find your inner sanctuary and don't let anyone pollute it.
• 3:48
Speaker 1: That means setting boundaries like your sanity depends on it,
• 3:52
Speaker 1: because it does. That means giving yourself permission to rest,
• 3:57
Speaker 1: not because you're weak, but because you're wise. That means
• 4:02
Speaker 1: choosing quiet over clamor, reflection over reaction. Peace over performance.
• 4:11
Speaker 1: And every day you've got to do what the world
• 4:13
Speaker 1: won't do for you. You've got to speak life to yourself.
• 4:17
Speaker 1: When the world says you're behind, speak, I'm right where
• 4:20
Speaker 1: I need to be. When the enemy whispers, you can't
• 4:23
Speaker 1: handle this, you shout back, I was built for this.
• 4:29
Speaker 1: When your mind says it's too much, answer, I've got
• 4:33
Speaker 1: grace for today. Because your thoughts follow your words and
• 4:38
Speaker 1: your atmosphere responds to your declaration. You can't just think peace,
• 4:43
Speaker 1: you have to declare peace. And that declaration starts now.
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: I don't know what's been weighing on you. I don't
• 4:51
Speaker 1: know what stress has been camped out in your mind,
• 4:54
Speaker 1: whispering lies in the middle of the night. But I
• 4:58
Speaker 1: came to tell you, you're not crazy. You're not weak.
• 5:04
Speaker 1: You're just overloaded. And it's time to take your mind back.
• 5:11
Speaker 1: It's time to say no without guilt. It's time to
• 5:15
Speaker 1: unplug and walk away. It's time to get back into
• 5:19
Speaker 1: alignment with what God says about you, not what they said,
• 5:23
Speaker 1: not what the world says, not what fear screams in
• 5:26
Speaker 1: the dark. You are strong. You are wise. You are favored.
• 5:32
Speaker 1: You are chosen. But even chosen people need rest. Even
• 5:37
Speaker 1: anointed people need recovery. Even warriors need to be still
• 5:42
Speaker 1: and know. So today, build your peace like your life
• 5:46
Speaker 1: depends on it, because it does. And from this day forward,
• 5:50
Speaker 1: let stress find no home in your mind. Let chaos knock,
• 5:56
Speaker 1: but never enter. Let fear speak, but never stay. Because
• 6:01
Speaker 1: you've built something stronger now. You've built peace. And peace,
• 6:08
Speaker 1: real peace, is worth protecting. You've built something stronger now.
• 6:16
Speaker 1: You've built peace. And peace, real peace, is worth protecting.
• 6:25
Speaker 1: Always guard the gates of your mind. Let that sentence
• 6:29
Speaker 1: echo within you like a call from heaven. Because if
• 6:32
Speaker 1: your life is chaotic, if your soul feels overwhelmed, if
• 6:36
Speaker 1: your peace keeps slipping through your fingers, no matter how
• 6:39
Speaker 1: much you pray, plan, or push forward, it's probably because
• 6:43
Speaker 1: you haven't been guarding your gates. You've been living open. exposed,
• 6:49
Speaker 1: vulnerable to every opinion, every negative comment, every fearful headline,
• 6:54
Speaker 1: every past wound replaying itself like a movie in your mind.
• 6:58
Speaker 1: You've let things walk into your mental space that were
• 7:00
Speaker 1: never meant to be there, and now you're paying rent
• 7:04
Speaker 1: on emotions that don't even belong to you. You've allowed
• 7:08
Speaker 1: stress to settle, bitterness to linger, and fear to whisper
• 7:13
Speaker 1: in corners that should have been reserved for truth. Everything
• 7:18
Speaker 1: starts in the mind. Everything. Before you gave up, it
• 7:24
Speaker 1: happened in your head. Before you broke down, the cracks
• 7:28
Speaker 1: formed in your thoughts. Before you lashed out, you entertained
• 7:33
Speaker 1: it in silence. The mind is not just where you think,
• 7:38
Speaker 1: it's where you believe. And what you believe has the
• 7:45
Speaker 1: power to shape your reality. shift your habits, rewrite your story,
• 7:52
Speaker 1: and determine your direction. So if the enemy wanted to
• 7:56
Speaker 1: destroy you, he wouldn't start with your money, your body,
• 8:02
Speaker 1: or your relationships. He'd start with your mind. He'd try
• 8:08
Speaker 1: to sow doubt. He'd aim to confuse you. He'd twist
• 8:13
Speaker 1: what you know to be true until you can't even
• 8:16
Speaker 1: trust your own voice anymore. That's why the gates matter.
• 8:21
Speaker 1: That's why you can't just wake up and go through
• 8:23
Speaker 1: life like you're mentally bulletproof. You're not. None of us are.
• 8:29
Speaker 1: We are porous beings. We absorb more than we realize.
• 8:34
Speaker 1: The things you hear, the conversations you have, the media
• 8:37
Speaker 1: you consume, the people you surround yourself with. These things
• 8:41
Speaker 1: don't just pass through you. They plant things inside. Seeds,
• 8:50
Speaker 1: some seeds of life and others of death. Some build
• 8:54
Speaker 1: you up, some tear you down. Some confirm the calling
• 8:59
Speaker 1: on your life and others cast doubt over it until
• 9:02
Speaker 1: you start wondering if you ever heard God correctly in
• 9:05
Speaker 1: the first place. If you don't guard your gates, life
• 9:09
Speaker 1: will hand you burdens you were never meant to carry.
• 9:13
Speaker 1: You'll find yourself overthinking everything. spiraling over things that used
• 9:18
Speaker 1: to roll off your back, your creativity will die. Your
• 9:22
Speaker 1: joy will be buried under the weight of worry. And
• 9:26
Speaker 1: peace will become something you chase instead of something you carry.
• 9:32
Speaker 1: You'll start reacting to everything and everyone, emotionally bleeding on
• 9:37
Speaker 1: people who didn't even cut you. You'll keep trying to
• 9:41
Speaker 1: fix the symptom, snapping at loved ones, procrastinating on dreams,
• 9:48
Speaker 1: escaping into distraction, but you'll never fix the root because
• 9:55
Speaker 1: the root is what you let in. The root is
• 9:57
Speaker 1: what you allowed to take residence in your mind. and
• 10:00
Speaker 1: the only way to pull it out is to shut
• 10:01
Speaker 1: the door you've got to learn to filter your intake
• 10:06
Speaker 1: like your life depends on it because it does not
• 10:11
Speaker 1: everything deserves your attention not every conversation deserves your energy
• 10:16
Speaker 1: not every invitation should be accepted Some places don't deserve
• 10:21
Speaker 1: your presence. And some people shouldn't have access to you,
• 10:25
Speaker 1: not because you hate them, but because you love your
• 10:28
Speaker 1: peace more, because you value your assignment more. Because you
• 10:33
Speaker 1: finally realized that your mind is sacred and you won't
• 10:38
Speaker 1: let anything desecrate it anymore. And let's be real here.
• 10:45
Speaker 1: It's not just external gates you've gotta guard, it's internal
• 10:49
Speaker 1: ones too. Because sometimes the biggest threat to your peace
• 10:55
Speaker 1: isn't what they said, it's what you said to yourself
• 11:00
Speaker 1: after they left. Sometimes the deepest wounds aren't from others,
• 11:06
Speaker 1: they're from the unspoken expectations, the perfectionism, the lies you
• 11:12
Speaker 1: believed when you were vulnerable. The voice in your head
• 11:16
Speaker 1: that tells you you're not good enough, not fast enough,
• 11:21
Speaker 1: not smart enough, not love. That voice has to be checked.
• 11:27
Speaker 1: It has to be confronted. You have to talk back.
• 11:33
Speaker 1: Because if you don't talk to your mind, your mind
• 11:37
Speaker 1: will talk to you. And it doesn't always tell the truth.
• 11:43
Speaker 1: You've got to learn how to set mental boundaries. You
• 11:47
Speaker 1: have to become a gatekeeper of your own thoughts. That
• 11:51
Speaker 1: means you don't entertain every idea that walks into your head.
• 11:56
Speaker 1: You don't give permission to negativity to roam free. You
• 12:01
Speaker 1: don't sit and rehearse every insult, every loss, every missed opportunity.
• 12:06
Speaker 1: You get selective. You get intentional. You recognize that your
• 12:12
Speaker 1: thoughts build your life, and you refuse to let toxic
• 12:17
Speaker 1: thoughts build a house inside of you. You were not
• 12:22
Speaker 1: created to live under constant mental pressure. You were not
• 12:26
Speaker 1: designed to be at war with yourself. You were made
• 12:30
Speaker 1: to walk in freedom, but that freedom has to be
• 12:35
Speaker 1: fought for, starting with your mind. Every time a thought
• 12:39
Speaker 1: rises up that doesn't align with peace, with faith, with purpose,
• 12:45
Speaker 1: you have the authority to shut it down. You don't
• 12:49
Speaker 1: just passively absorb. You actively resist. You take back your
• 12:55
Speaker 1: power by taking control of your focus. And yes, it's
• 13:00
Speaker 1: a daily fight. Because stress doesn't knock once. It comes
• 13:06
Speaker 1: in waves. Anxiety doesn't call ahead. It crashes in uninvited.
• 13:14
Speaker 1: But you get stronger every time you choose peace over panic.
• 13:19
Speaker 1: Every time you pause before reacting. Every time you decide
• 13:23
Speaker 1: that what you think about is more important than what
• 13:25
Speaker 1: people think of you. Every time you remind yourself, I
• 13:30
  Speaker 1: have a choice. I don't have to entertain this. I
• 13:34
Speaker 1: don't have to replay that moment. I don't have to
• 13:38
Speaker 1: give fear a seat at my table. Protecting your mind
• 13:42
Speaker 1: doesn't mean pretending nothing's wrong. It means being wise about
• 13:48
Speaker 1: what you allow to live inside you. It means doing
• 13:53
Speaker 1: the work. Sometimes that's therapy. Sometimes that's journaling. Sometimes it's
• 14:00
Speaker 1: saying no when you feel pressured to say yes. Sometimes
• 14:04
Speaker 1: it's logging off, walking away, taking a nap, shutting the
• 14:09
Speaker 1: phone off, unfollowing, unsubscribing, detaching from anything that keeps you
• 14:15
Speaker 1: locked in cycles of chaos. Peace doesn't just show up.
• 14:19
Speaker 1: It has to be cultivated. And the first step is saying,
• 14:23
Speaker 1: not here, not in my mind, not anymore. So today,
• 14:29
Speaker 1: take back the gates. Draw the line. And don't feel
• 14:34
Speaker 1: guilty for protecting the most powerful part of who you are,
• 14:38
Speaker 1: your mind. Because when your mind is clear, your path
• 14:43
Speaker 1: is clear. When your thoughts are healthy, your decisions are wise.
• 14:50
Speaker 1: When your mental space is free, your soul can breathe again.
• 14:55
Speaker 1: You are not helpless. You are not broken. You are
• 15:00
Speaker 1: not alone. You are powerful. You are the gatekeeper. Now
• 15:07
Speaker 1: protect your peace like your life depends on it, because
• 15:11
Speaker 1: it truly, deeply does. Stress doesn't always shout. Sometimes it whispers.
• 15:20
Speaker 1: It shows up in silence, in the still moments when
• 15:24
Speaker 1: no one's watching. It's the tightness in your chest when
• 15:29
Speaker 1: your phone buzzes. It's the mental checklist that never ends.
• 15:34
Speaker 1: The invisible pressure to hold it all together. When you
• 15:39
Speaker 1: find it, you can always put it back. You can
• 15:44
Speaker 1: always turn to a deadline. If you don't have it done,
• 15:50
Speaker 1: you won't feel it. If you don't have it done,
• 15:55
Speaker 1: it won't feel it. If you don't have it done,
• 15:58
Speaker 1: it creeps in quietly like a shadow at the edge
• 16:02
Speaker 1: of your mind until one day you realize it's not
• 16:06
Speaker 1: a moment, it's a mindset. And the worst part is
• 16:12
Speaker 1: most people don't even see it coming because it doesn't
• 16:16
Speaker 1: always look like a breakdown. Sometimes it looks like overcommitment.
• 16:22
Speaker 1: Sometimes it looks like a smile hiding silent exhaustion. Sometimes
• 16:28
Speaker 1: it looks like being fine on the outside while drowning inside.
• 16:34
Speaker 1: Stress wears masks. It can disguise itself as responsibility, as productivity,
• 16:44
Speaker 1: as people pleasing. You tell yourself you're doing what needs
• 16:48
Speaker 1: to be done. You say it's just a busy season.
• 16:53
Speaker 1: But deep down, your soul is waving a white flag.
• 16:58
Speaker 1: You're carrying weights no one knows about. You're smiling through
• 17:02
Speaker 1: tears that never fall. You've normalized chaos. You've adjusted to dysfunction.
• 17:10
Speaker 1: And now your spirit is suffocating under the weight of
• 17:13
Speaker 1: what must be done. But what if I told you
• 17:16
Speaker 1: that peace was never meant to be the prize you
• 17:19
Speaker 1: get after the war is over? What if peace was
• 17:24
Speaker 1: meant to be the weapon you carry into the battlefield? See,
• 17:29
Speaker 1: the world teaches you to chase peace like it's on
• 17:33
Speaker 1: the other side of achievement. They say work hard now
• 17:36
Speaker 1: so you can rest later. But what if that later
• 17:41
Speaker 1: never comes? What if you're working so hard for a
• 17:45
Speaker 1: version of peace that keeps moving further away the more
• 17:49
Speaker 1: you chase it? That's the deception of stress. It tricks
• 17:54
Speaker 1: you into thinking that peace is out there somewhere in
• 17:57
Speaker 1: the distance when in reality, peace begins inside you. It's
• 18:01
  Speaker 1: not passive. It's not a luxury. It's not a vacation
• 18:05
Speaker 1: you take twice a year. Peace is a decision. Peace
• 18:10
Speaker 1: is a posture. Peace is a powerful stance in the
• 18:14
Speaker 1: face of pressure that says, I don't have to carry
• 18:18
Speaker 1: this like it's mine. It says, I can be present now.
• 18:24
Speaker 1: without being pulled apart. It whispers, I can rest even
• 18:31
Speaker 1: in the middle of the storm. You see, stress can
• 18:36
Speaker 1: take your focus before it takes your peace. That's why
• 18:41
Speaker 1: it's dangerous. It doesn't steal everything all at once. It
• 18:45
Speaker 1: chips away slowly. You stop sleeping well. You stop enjoying
• 18:51
Speaker 1: the little things. You become irritated at small annoyances. You
• 18:57
Speaker 1: lose patience with people you love. And soon, you're reacting
• 19:03
Speaker 1: to life instead of responding with wisdom. You're stuck in
• 19:08
Speaker 1: survival mode. Your decisions come from fear. Your thoughts race.
• 19:13
Speaker 1: Your mind replays every worst-case scenario. And your heart, it
• 19:18
Speaker 1: just wants a break. but you've convinced yourself that breaks
• 19:23
Speaker 1: are weakness, that rest is a waste of time, that
• 19:28
Speaker 1: you've got to hustle to prove something to people who
• 19:30
Speaker 1: aren't even paying attention. Stress will have you running full
• 19:34
Speaker 1: sped toward a destination you don't even want. It'll make
• 19:38
Speaker 1: you say yes when you should have said no. That's
• 19:42
Speaker 1: a lie culture sold you. That's a lie your trauma
• 19:46
Speaker 1: whispered when you were young. That's a lie burnout tells
• 19:50
Speaker 1: you when you've given too much and haven't received enough
• 19:54
Speaker 1: the truth is you were never meant to be overwhelmed
• 19:57
Speaker 1: every day you were never designed to constantly feel like
• 20:01
Speaker 1: you're running out of time out of energy out of
• 20:04
Speaker 1: peace that's not noble that's dangerous Because stress doesn't just
• 20:13
Speaker 1: affect your mind. It hits your body. It shows up
• 20:16
Speaker 1: in your breathing, in your heartbeat, in your digestion, in
• 20:21
Speaker 1: your skin. It shortens your fuse and lengthens your nights.
• 20:26
Speaker 1: It confuses your clarity. It blurs your vision. And eventually,
• 20:30
Speaker 1: it breaks you. Not always in public. Not always loud.
• 20:37
Speaker 1: But it breaks you in quiet ways. subtle ways. It
• 20:42
Speaker 1: makes you numb. It makes you forget who you are.
• 20:46
Speaker 1: It disconnects you from purpose. And if you're not careful,
• 20:50
Speaker 1: you'll live your whole life reactive instead of intentional. That's
• 20:54
  Speaker 1: why peace isn't a soft word. It's a strong one.
• 20:58
Speaker 1: It takes strength to choose peace. It takes power to
• 21:02
Speaker 1: walk away from chaos that you used to call home.
• 21:06
Speaker 1: It takes courage to say, I will not sacrifice my
• 21:10
Speaker 1: mental health for anyone's expectations, not even my own. Peace
• 21:16
Speaker 1: requires boundaries. It requires honesty. It requires saying no without guilt,
• 21:23
Speaker 1: resting without apology, and choosing stillness when the world demands motion.
• 21:30
Speaker 1: There's a reason why peace is rare. Because most people
• 21:34
Speaker 1: are too afraid to slow down. They think if they
• 21:38
Speaker 1: slow down, everything will fall apart. But what they don't
• 21:42
Speaker 1: realize is everything is already falling apart because they never
• 21:46
Speaker 1: slowed down. The marriage is slipping. The friendships are cracking.
• 21:52
Speaker 1: The body is weakening. The joy is vanishing. And they're
• 21:56
Speaker 1: still running, still pretending, still pushing. But here's what I
• 22:00
Speaker 1: want you to hear. You don't have to live that way.
• 22:07
Speaker 1: You don't have to be everything to everyone. You don't
• 22:10
Speaker 1: have to keep saying yes just to feel needed. You
• 22:14
Speaker 1: don't have to keep showing up for people who never
• 22:17
Speaker 1: show up for you. You don't have to perform peace.
• 22:22
Speaker 1: You can actually possess it. You can breathe again. You
• 22:28
Speaker 1: can release the weight. You can put it all down.
• 22:33
Speaker 1: The pressure, the comparison, the timeline, the shame. You can
• 22:38
Speaker 1: stop explaining why you need rest. You don't need permission
• 22:43
Speaker 1: to take care of your soul. You don't need validation
• 22:46
Speaker 1: to disconnect. You don't need anyone to understand your boundaries
• 22:51
Speaker 1: before you enforce them. Because peace is yours to protect.
• 22:56
Speaker 1: And stress? Stress is not your identity. It's not your story.
• 23:02
Speaker 1: It's not your assignment. It may have walked in uninvited,
• 23:07
Speaker 1: but it doesn't have to stay. You can open the
• 23:11
Speaker 1: door and ask it to leave. You can choose joy.
• 23:16
Speaker 1: You can choose clarity. You can choose yourself again and
• 23:21
Speaker 1: again and again. Don't let stress lie to you. Don't
• 23:26
Speaker 1: let it define you. Don't let it rob you of
• 23:29
Speaker 1: the life you're meant to live. The power to shift
• 23:32
Speaker 1: is already inside you. All you have to do is stop. Breathe.
• 23:38
Speaker 1: Say it out loud if you need to. I will
• 23:41
Speaker 1: not live in stress. I choose peace and nothing, no one,
• 23:47
Speaker 1: no situation, no demand, no deadline. Nothing will steal it
• 23:55
Speaker 1: from me again. Peace isn't the end. It's the way.
• 24:08
Speaker 1: Walk in it. Letting go of control isn't weakness. It's wisdom.
• 24:15
Speaker 1: It's not about giving up. It's about finally getting free.
• 24:20
Speaker 1: For too long, you've been trying to manage everything, fix everything,
• 24:23
Speaker 1: be everything, and do everything. And it's slowly been draining
• 24:28
Speaker 1: the life out of you. You carry burdens that were
• 24:32
Speaker 1: never yours. You try to solve problems that are beyond
• 24:36
Speaker 1: your hands. You obsess over outcomes you can't predict and
• 24:41
Speaker 1: people you can't change. And the more you try to
• 24:44
Speaker 1: grip it, the more it slips through your fingers. You
• 24:49
Speaker 1: keep thinking, if I could just hold on tighter, maybe
• 24:52
Speaker 1: it'll work out. But that's the lie control tells you.
• 24:58
Speaker 1: It promises safety, but delivers anxiety. Somewhere along the way,
• 25:04
Speaker 1: you learned that control meant security, that if you didn't
• 25:09
Speaker 1: keep your eyes on everything, something would fall apart, that
• 25:15
Speaker 1: if you didn't handle it, no one else would get in,
• 25:26
Speaker 1: that God would not wish you successful. That if you
• 25:30
Speaker 1: didn't keep your eyes on everything, something would fall apart.
• 25:36
Speaker 1: That if you didn't handle it, no one else would.
• 25:39
Speaker 1: That if you wouldn't get, that if you let go
• 25:48
Speaker 1: for even a second, everything you've worked for might collapse.
• 25:52
Speaker 1: But here's the truth. Control is an illusion. And the
• 25:57
Speaker 1: tighter you hold it, the more exhausted you become. Because
• 26:01
Speaker 1: you're not meant to control everything. You're meant to be faithful.
• 26:06
Speaker 1: You're meant to be present. You're meant to be grounded.
• 26:10
Speaker 1: But you're not meant to micromanage every outcome, every emotion,
• 26:15
Speaker 1: every response, every result. What if I told you that
• 26:19
Speaker 1: your peace is hiding on the other side of surrender?
• 26:24
Speaker 1: What if I told you that the thing you're most
• 26:26
Speaker 1: afraid to release is the very thing blocking your clarity? See,
• 26:31
Speaker 1: when you cling to control, you're saying you don't trust
• 26:36
Speaker 1: the process. You're saying you don't believe that things can
• 26:40
Speaker 1: work out without your hands being all over them. You're
• 26:45
Speaker 1: saying you don't believe the situation has meaning unless you
• 26:49
Speaker 1: orchestrate the outcome. But some things were never yours to control.
• 26:53
Speaker 1: Some situations are too big for your limited perspective. Some
• 26:57
Speaker 1: people will never change, no matter how much you pour
• 27:01
Speaker 1: into them. And no matter how deeply you care, your
• 27:05
Speaker 1: caring won't change what only surrender can fix. Letting go
• 27:12
Speaker 1: doesn't mean you don't care. It means you're choosing peace
• 27:17
Speaker 1: over panic. It means you're finally understanding the difference between
• 27:23
Speaker 1: being responsible and being obsessed. It means you're giving yourself
• 27:27
Speaker 1: permission to rest, even while things are unresolved. It means
• 27:33
Speaker 1: you're stepping back so that what's meant for you can breathe,
• 27:38
Speaker 1: can grow, can arrive without being forced. Because sometimes the
• 27:44
Speaker 1: more you force it, the more you delay it. The
• 27:48
Speaker 1: more you press, the more you push it away. That relationship,
• 27:54
Speaker 1: that opportunity, that outcome you keep praying for. Some things
• 27:59
Speaker 1: only show up when you let go of needing them
• 28:02
Speaker 1: to look a certain way. You've got to stop thinking
• 28:05
Speaker 1: you're the glue holding everything together. That mindset is what's
• 28:09
Speaker 1: breaking you. That pressure is what's burning you out. You're
• 28:14
Speaker 1: not God. You're not infinite. You don't have to carry
• 28:19
Speaker 1: the whole load. You don't have to know how it
• 28:22
Speaker 1: will all unfold. You don't need all the answers to
• 28:26
Speaker 1: take the next step. Sometimes freedom is simply saying, I
• 28:32
  Speaker 1: don't know what's next, but I trust that what's next
• 28:37
Speaker 1: is meant for me. Some of you are carrying pain
• 28:39
Speaker 1: that doesn't belong to you. You're holding on to blame, guilt,
• 28:43
Speaker 1: and shame for things you couldn't change. You've taken on
• 28:47
Speaker 1: weight that was never yours to bear. You think that
• 28:51
Speaker 1: by stressing over it, worrying about it, replaying it, somehow
• 28:55
Speaker 1: you'll fix it. But you won't. That's not healing. That's torment.
• 29:04
Speaker 1: That's trauma pretending to be loyalty. That's dysfunction wrapped in
• 29:10
Speaker 1: the illusion of care. Letting go isn't abandonment. Letting go
• 29:19
Speaker 1: is love. It's love for yourself, love for your peace,
• 29:26
Speaker 1: love for your purpose. Because the truth is when you
• 29:30
Speaker 1: finally release control, you give space for the miraculous. You
• 29:36
Speaker 1: create room for divine timing. You step aside. so that
• 29:40
Speaker 1: what is meant for you can walk in through the
• 29:43
Speaker 1: front door instead of sneaking through the back and when
• 29:47
Speaker 1: you release what you cannot control something inside you shifts
• 29:54
Speaker 1: you begin to breathe again you start noticing beauty again
• 29:59
Speaker 1: You stop grinding your teeth at night. Stop overanalyzing every text.
• 30:05
Speaker 1: Stop feeling the weight of people's silence as a personal attack.
• 30:10
Speaker 1: Not everything is about you. Not every delay is a denial.
• 30:16
Speaker 1: Not every storm is a punishment. Sometimes the waiting is
• 30:21
Speaker 1: a gift. Sometimes the people who walked away had to.
• 30:26
Speaker 1: because their presence was blocking your growth. You wouldn't have
• 30:29
Speaker 1: let them go on your own. So life stepped in
• 30:33
Speaker 1: and removed them for you. And yes, it hurt. Yes,
• 30:36
Speaker 1: you cried. Yes, you felt like something was stolen from you.
• 30:40
Speaker 1: But now you see. Now you know. Now you're beginning
• 30:45
Speaker 1: to understand that your peace matters more than your pride.
• 30:50
Speaker 1: That your healing is worth more than the illusion of
• 30:53
Speaker 1: having it all under control. Letting go is how you
• 30:58
Speaker 1: make room for real joy. You can't dance with freedom
• 31:02
Speaker 1: if your hands are full of fear. You can't walk
• 31:06
Speaker 1: in alignment if you're gripping things that are meant to
• 31:09
Speaker 1: fall away. You can't hear clarity when your mind is
• 31:16
Speaker 1: crowded with worst case scenarios. It's not that you're incapable,
• 31:22
Speaker 1: it's that you're overloaded. You've tried to be everything, Hold everything.
• 31:29
Speaker 1: Fix everything. Explain everything. And now it's time to say enough.
• 31:38
Speaker 1: Enough is enough. Enough of apologizing for resting. Enough of
• 31:43
Speaker 1: begging for clarity in situations that only bring confusion. Enough
• 31:48
Speaker 1: of proving your worth by overgiving. Enough of shrinking your
• 31:52
Speaker 1: soul to make others comfortable. You deserve peace. You deserve softness.
• 31:59
Speaker 1: You deserve quiet joy. And that only comes when you
• 32:03
Speaker 1: finally say, I can't carry this anymore. And that's okay.
• 32:10
Speaker 1: Release the outcome. Release their opinion. Release the pressure to
• 32:14
Speaker 1: be perfect. Release the need to be seen, to be validated,
• 32:20
Speaker 1: to be understood. You are allowed to outgrow the chaos
• 32:25
Speaker 1: you once tolerated. You are allowed to evolve beyond the
• 32:30
Speaker 1: version of you that lived in survival mode. You are
• 32:34
Speaker 1: allowed to walk away from what is not yours. So breathe.
• 32:40
Speaker 1: Let the tension fall from your shoulders. Unclench your jaw. Exhale.
• 32:48
Speaker 1: You don't have to hold it all together anymore. You
• 32:52
Speaker 1: don't have to figure it all out today. You don't
• 32:56
Speaker 1: have to be in control to be at peace. In fact,
• 33:02
Speaker 1: peace flows best when control is surrendered. The freedom you
• 33:08
Speaker 1: want doesn't come from doing more. It comes from releasing more.
• 33:14
Speaker 1: And once you stop gripping so tight, once you stop
• 33:18
Speaker 1: trying to force every detail... you'll realize that life moves
• 33:25
Speaker 1: with you. When you stop resisting it, your mind gets quieter,
• 33:30
Speaker 1: your heart grows softer, and you finally, finally begin to
• 33:35
Speaker 1: feel what you were longing for all along, peace that
• 33:39
Speaker 1: passes understanding. And that peace, that peace will carry you
• 33:44
Speaker 1: further than control ever could. You can't survive chaos without
• 33:49
Speaker 1: stillness inside. You can't keep running through storms without somewhere
• 33:54
Speaker 1: to rest. At some point, you have to realize that
• 33:58
Speaker 1: peace isn't something you find in the world. It's something
• 34:02
Speaker 1: you build within yourself. The world will always have noise.
• 34:05
Speaker 1: People will always have opinions. Life will always have demands.
• 34:10
Speaker 1: If you wait for the outside to be quiet before
• 34:13
Speaker 1: you find calm on the inside, you'll spend your whole
• 34:16
Speaker 1: life waiting. Because peace doesn't show up when everything's perfect.
• 34:21
Speaker 1: Peace shows up when you decide that even in the
• 34:24
Speaker 1: middle of imperfection, you're going to protect your soul. You
• 34:30
Speaker 1: have to build inner altars of stillness, not physical places,
• 34:35
Speaker 1: not quiet corners in your house, something deeper, a still
• 34:40
Speaker 1: place in your spirit that nothing and no one can touch,
• 34:44
Speaker 1: a place where your faith lives, a place where your
• 34:48
Speaker 1: identity isn't shaken by what people say. A place where
• 34:53
Speaker 1: you remember who you are even when everything around you
• 34:56
Speaker 1: feels uncertain. This kind of stillness doesn't come from doing nothing.
• 35:04
Speaker 1: It comes from doing the inner work. It comes from
• 35:07
Speaker 1: unplugging from the voices that overwhelm and plugging into truth
• 35:11
Speaker 1: that anchors you. Most people are moving so fast they
• 35:15
Speaker 1: don't even realize how loud their life has become. Their
• 35:20
Speaker 1: mind is racing from one thought to the next. Their
• 35:23
Speaker 1: soul is exhausted from the constant alerts, conversations, deadlines, and noise.
• 35:29
Speaker 1: There's no margin, no room to breathe, no space to feel.
• 35:36
Speaker 1: And eventually, it catches up. You start snapping at people
• 35:40
Speaker 1: for no reason. You can't think clearly. You lose passion
• 35:45
Speaker 1: for the things you used to love. You feel numb,
• 35:50
Speaker 1: not because you don't care, but because you've been moving
• 35:53
Speaker 1: at a pace that doesn't honor your humanity. You've been
• 35:57
Speaker 1: chasing results while your soul has been starving. Stillness is
• 36:02
Speaker 1: not laziness. It's not idleness. It's not avoidance. Stillness is
• 36:08
Speaker 1: where your strength comes from. Stillness is where you hear
• 36:13
Speaker 1: what actually matters. Stillness is what saves you from burnout.
• 36:18
Speaker 1: When you don't have stillness, you live on reaction. You
• 36:22
Speaker 1: respond to every email like it's urgent. You let every
• 36:26
Speaker 1: criticism rattle you. You feel pulled in every direction because
• 36:31
Speaker 1: you haven't built anything solid within to anchor you. But
• 36:37
Speaker 1: when you build stillness within, something shifts. You stop giving
• 36:43
Speaker 1: immediate access to your energy. You stop explaining yourself to
• 36:48
Speaker 1: people who must understand you. You stop feeling the need
• 36:51
Speaker 1: to prove your worth by what you do. Stillness teaches
• 36:55
Speaker 1: you to just be. Not because you've earned it, but
• 37:00
Speaker 1: because you were always enough, even in your quiet moments.
• 37:06
Speaker 1: When the world screams that you have to constantly produce,
• 37:10
Speaker 1: stillness whispers that you're already valuable. And here's the truth
• 37:16
Speaker 1: most people miss. Stillness isn't something you stumble into. You
• 37:21
Speaker 1: have to make space for it. You have to fight
• 37:24
Speaker 1: for it. You have to create rhythms that honor it.
• 37:29
Speaker 1: That means saying no to some things, even good things,
• 37:34
Speaker 1: so your soul can breathe. That means putting your phone down.
• 37:39
Speaker 1: That means pausing before reacting. That means sitting in silence,
• 37:45
Speaker 1: not because it's easy, but because it's healing. You can't
• 37:50
Speaker 1: fill your spirit if you're always plugged into everyone else's.
• 37:55
Speaker 1: It's in stillness that you realize what's really important. The
• 38:01
Speaker 1: things you were chasing, maybe they weren't worth the exhaustion.
• 38:08
Speaker 1: The people you were pleasing, maybe Maybe they never saw
• 38:12
Speaker 1: you clearly in the first place. The pressure you were
• 38:16
Speaker 1: putting on yourself, maybe it was coming from a place
• 38:19
Speaker 1: of insecurity, not purpose. Stillness has a way of revealing
• 38:25
Speaker 1: truth without shouting. It gently uncovers the layers you've built
• 38:31
Speaker 1: to survive and it invites you to live from a
• 38:35
Speaker 1: deeper place. When you learn to live from that place,
• 38:37
Speaker 1: you become unshakable. Not because life stops shaking, but because
• 38:41
Speaker 1: you've planted yourself in something deeper than the noise. When
• 38:45
Speaker 1: your peace comes from within, the chaos outside can't steal it.
• 38:50
Speaker 1: When your confidence is rooted in who you are, not
• 38:53
Speaker 1: what you do, you stop chasing things that were never
• 38:56
Speaker 1: meant to define you. And when your decisions come from stillness,
• 39:01
Speaker 1: not pressure, you stop regretting everything. where you end up.
• 39:08
Speaker 1: But don't expect everyone to understand your stillness. People who
• 39:11
Speaker 1: are addicted to chaos will be uncomfortable around your calm.
• 39:16
Speaker 1: People who thrive on urgency won't know how to handle
• 39:19
Speaker 1: your pace. But that's okay. You're not living for their rhythm.
• 39:26
Speaker 1: You're living for your alignment. And once you taste true
• 39:30
Speaker 1: stillness you won't want to go back to living on
• 39:33
Speaker 1: edge you'll start protecting your mornings you'll start guarding your
• 39:38
Speaker 1: evening you'll start carving out moments in the middle of
• 39:40
Speaker 1: your day just to breathe to be to reconnect stillness
• 39:47
  Speaker 1: isn't something that happens by accident It's a habit. It's
• 39:53
Speaker 1: a choice. And it's one that you have to keep choosing,
• 39:57
Speaker 1: especially when life gets loud, especially when people want answers,
• 40:02
Speaker 1: especially when people want answers, especially when people want resolved
• 40:07
Speaker 1: things immediately. But pause. Breathe. Let stillness have the final word.
• 40:17
Speaker 1: Because what you build in stillness will sustain you when
• 40:21
Speaker 1: pressure comes. What you plant in silence will blossom in clarity.
• 40:26
Speaker 1: Stillness isn't a retreat from the world. It's preparation to
• 40:31
Speaker 1: face it. When you step out of your inner sanctuary,
• 40:36
Speaker 1: you step out with peace. You show up without anxiety
• 40:42
Speaker 1: controlling you. You listen without feeling the need to fix everything.
• 40:50
Speaker 1: You spend time with heaven and with hell. You listen
• 40:57
Speaker 1: without feeling the need to fix everything. You speak from
• 41:01
Speaker 1: depth instead of desperation. And you lead from overflow instead
• 41:06
Speaker 1: of emptiness. People think they need to do more to
• 41:11
Speaker 1: fix their lives. But sometimes what you need is an action.
• 41:17
Speaker 1: It's awareness. Sometimes you don't need a bigger plan. You
• 41:23
Speaker 1: need a quieter mind. You need time to reconnect with
• 41:28
Speaker 1: the part of you that knows the way. That still
• 41:31
Speaker 1: voice within. That always knew what mattered. But got drowned
• 41:36
Speaker 1: out by the pressure to perform. That part of you
• 41:38
Speaker 1: isn't gone. It's just waiting. Waiting for you to stop
• 41:42
Speaker 1: long enough to hear it again. You don't need to
• 41:46
Speaker 1: earn stillness. You don't need to perform for peace. You
• 41:53
Speaker 1: just need to remember. You just need to return. Return
• 41:58
Speaker 1: to your soul. Return to the sacred. Return to the
• 42:03
Speaker 1: truth that you are more than what this world demands
• 42:06
Speaker 1: from you. You are a soul, a being, a spirit
• 42:10
Speaker 1: that that needs space to breathe and permission to rest.
• 42:16
Speaker 1: And when you begin to live from that space, everything changes.
• 42:23
Speaker 1: Your decisions are wiser. Your relationships are deeper. Your work
• 42:28
Speaker 1: is more meaningful because it's no longer driven by fear,
• 42:34
Speaker 1: but led by clarity. And clarity only comes in stillness.
• 42:40
Speaker 1: Peace only flourishes in in stillness and strength real strength
• 42:46
Speaker 1: is born in those quiet places where you hear your
• 42:51
Speaker 1: own heartbeat where you speak to your own soul where
• 42:55
Speaker 1: you remember that you were never meant to live drowning
• 43:00
Speaker 1: in noise so build that stillness guard it honor it
• 43:08
Speaker 1: return to it again and again Because in that stillness,
• 43:13
Speaker 1: you don't just find peace, you find yourself. Your mind
• 43:19
Speaker 1: listens to everything you say, even the things you whisper
• 43:22
Speaker 1: to yourself in doubt, in fear, in exhaustion. That's why
• 43:27
Speaker 1: you must learn to speak life to your thoughts daily,
• 43:30
Speaker 1: not occasionally, not when you feel strong, every single day.
• 43:37
Speaker 1: Because your mind is a battlefield and the war is
• 43:43
Speaker 1: constant the moment you wake up your thoughts start racing
• 43:48
Speaker 1: memories of the past worries about the future the pressure
• 43:53
Speaker 1: to perform the fear of failing the doubt that maybe
• 43:59
Speaker 1: you're not enough and if you don't rise up with
• 44:03
Speaker 1: truth if you don't speak life on purpose those thoughts
• 44:08
Speaker 1: will run wild They will rule your day, rob your peace,
• 44:14
Speaker 1: and weaken your courage. You can't let your thoughts go unchecked,
• 44:19
Speaker 1: hoping they'll magically align with purpose. They won't. Thoughts, like weeds,
• 44:25
Speaker 1: grow wild unless you cultivate them. And the way you
• 44:29
Speaker 1: cultivate them is with your words. What you say to
• 44:34
Speaker 1: yourself matters more than what anyone else says to you.
• 44:38
Speaker 1: Because your voice is the one you hear the most.
• 44:43
Speaker 1: It's the one that echoes through every decision, every moment
• 44:47
Speaker 1: of doubt, every late night wrestling with identity and purpose.
• 44:55
Speaker 1: So what's your word? Thoughts, like weeds, grow wild unless
• 45:01
Speaker 1: you cultivate them and purpose. So speak life, even when
• 45:06
Speaker 1: you don't feel like it. especially when you don't feel
• 45:11
Speaker 1: like it. Declare what you believe, not just what you see.
• 45:17
Speaker 1: Speak into your thoughts before your thoughts speak into your soul.
• 45:24
Speaker 1: Because your thoughts will follow your words and your actions
• 45:28
Speaker 1: will follow your thoughts. That's why the first thing you
• 45:33
Speaker 1: say in the morning matters. That's why what you repeat
• 45:36
Speaker 1: becomes what you become. Stop cursing yourself with silent agreements
• 45:41
Speaker 1: rooted in pain. Stop saying, I'm just not good enough
• 45:46
Speaker 1: under your breath and expecting to rise in confidence. Stop whispering,
