- 0:00[SPEAKER_02]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_02]: Dr. Steve Turley, join me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_02]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_02]: Bang gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, you're a Patre professor.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_02]: Today I'm away from the studio.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_02]: I'm actually in front of a room full of Patre.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_02]: It's pouring into people who are ready to fight for faith, family, and freedom, and their own communities.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_02]: It's one of my favorite things I love to do.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_02]: But I cannot let the day go by without walking with you too.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_02]: So ahead of time, I sat down and recorded this conversation just for moments like this.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_02]: I'd love for you to share one concrete thing.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_02]: that you're doing to push back and build something beautiful right where you are.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_02]: This is part of a movement and it needs your voice in it.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_02]: Tonight, I want to take you on a journey.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_02]: I want to take you on a tour of what we might call the splendors of Christendom, Christian civilization.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_02]: And when I say that, you'll probably immediately think of, you know, me taking you to scenes in Europe.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_02]: of old decrepit cathedrals, dusty reliquities, faded frescos, the echoes of a faith gone by preserved in amber for tourists and for art historians.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_02]: Look, that's not what I'm going to show you tonight.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to show you the splendors of Christendom reborn, reawakened.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_02]: not a chrystonum of old nostalgia, reminiscence, but a Christian civilization that's even now rising.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_02]: And what I hope to show you is that what's actually happening here when I go to the website of Lappa, this is the way my brain thinks.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_02]: I see a Lancaster version,
- 2:10[SPEAKER_02]: of this worldwide renewal, that's happening.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_02]: This is a local, say, faction as it were, of this greater extraordinary movement.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_02]: We can get very demoralized, I know, because things can seem very tough out there.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_02]: liberal modernism really showed some deep roots over the course of about 70 to 90 years last 70 to 90 years.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to take a while for that old rotting tree to finally fall over, but it is rotting and it is dying and something's being reborn here that should make everyone very, very excited.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_02]: What we need to recognize is that even the most secular liberal scholars today are openly admitting that we are in the midst of the single greatest religious renewal the world has ever seen.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_02]: That's a direct quote from Rodney Stark from Baylor University.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_02]: And what I want to do tonight is I want to show you that world-wide religious renewal in its material form, in its art, its architecture, its music, its liturgies, that's even now going beyond anything the old christenum could ever have imagined because it's even going beyond this planet.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's reaching its highest cosmic expressions.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_02]: So, let's begin.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_02]: We begin at the twilight of the old Christendom.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_02]: This is footage from 1896.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_02]: This is the coronation of Nicholas II.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_02]: the last Tsar of Russia.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_02]: This is a time when Russia was the center of worldwide Orthodox Christianity over 60,000 churches done the land, 25,000 chapels, 1,000 monasteries, and 60 seminaries.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_02]: Moscow referred to itself as the third Rome after the fall of the first Rome in the fifth century to the barbarians, and then the fall of the second Rome which was constant, nobles in the 15th century.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_02]: And Russia saw itself imperial Russia, as the place were crowned and cathedral united in defending Christendom, all the way up to the beginning of the 20th century.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_02]: And then October 1917, the Bolshevik Revolution Minneapolis, no, sorry.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_02]: It could be immediately upon seizing power the Bolsheviks launched a bloody purge of Christianity from Russia.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_02]: They demolished thousands of churches by the 1930s of those 60,000 churches less than 2000 stood.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_02]: upwards of 200,000 clergy were executed in the course of 20 years.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_02]: All 1,000 monasteries were closed.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_02]: Many of them were converted into Guloks and concentration camps.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_02]: If you have a red, I'll explain to you the social needs since a day in the life of Ivan Denise of it.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_02]: So it's a small book.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_02]: You can read it in one sitting.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's about a fellow, a day in a life of a fellow in a Gulag, but that Gulag was a former monastery.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_02]: And you see all throughout this book, flashes of divine grace.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: God never left.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_02]: Religious practices were criminalized, theological education for bed and church property confiscated.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_02]: Now, why was it so important for the Bolsheviks to destroy the art, architecture, and music and liturgies of the Orthodox Church?
- 6:30[SPEAKER_02]: because they understood that civilization materializes itself through precisely these means.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_02]: Architecture, art, music, liturgy.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_02]: These are three-dimensional beliefs as it were.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_02]: Destroying these was an incidental, it was essential to erasing the old civilization and implanting a new one.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_02]: The Bolsheviks understood that you cannot kill a civilization simply by defeating its armies.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: You kill it by destroying its art, silencing its music, crushing its architecture.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_02]: demolish cathedrals, burn paintings, these eliminated the material forms through which Orthodox consciousness was transmitted over the course of a thousand years and without which the Bolsheviks believed Russian Christianity would eventually go extinct.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_02]: While Trump unleashes a political reckoning, there is another crisis poisoning every American in some way, shape, or form even in the comfort of our own homes.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking about the microplastic epidemic.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_02]: Now, you may have heard about this, but this is pretty shocking stuff.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_02]: Check this out.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: White ones.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: We got clear ones.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_00]: tons of microplastics, wash ashore all over the world every day.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: And now for the first time, scientists in the Netherlands have detected microplastic pollution in human blood.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: All the microplastics in our class, we are exposed to we inhale and be ingest.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: even 10 of them ends around bloodstream.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: The Dutch study on blood samples from healthy adults detected tiny plastic particles in 80% of people.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_02]: There's a microplastic crisis poisoning every American in some way shape or form.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_02]: They're in our food, our water, our meats, our proteins, in fact, according to a recent study, we now ingest six times more microplastics than in 1990.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's wreaking havoc on our health and on our organ functions, and unfortunately no one is immune from this bot.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_02]: There is an amazing solution.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_02]: There's a unique bacterial strain found only in kimchi that's been found to effectively degrade microplastics.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, traditional kimchi is one of the world's most powerful superfoods, but let's be honest.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's messy, it's strong smelling.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_02]: exactly easy to eat every single day.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_02]: So that's why our good friends over at Brightcore created Kim Chi one.

- 9:29[SPEAKER_02]: Each capsule delivers over 900 probiotic strains, live enzymes, and antioxidants that help restore balance in your gut.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_02]: People are seeing improvements in digestion, bloating, regularity, energy, metabolism.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_02]: Studies show that Kimchi even reduces the risk of obesity.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_02]: Kimchi won is all natural, non-GMO, 100% made right here in the USA.

- 10:05[SPEAKER_02]: been looking for a way to boost your immune system and remove microplastic toxins from your body.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_02]: This is it.

- 10:37[SPEAKER_02]: So once again, that number is triple eight, 59070233.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_02]: And unfortunately, those Soviet sentiments represent much of the whole of the modern world itself because the basic assumption of modernity being rooted in 18th century enlightenment thinking was that progress requires that the past be abandoned for the future.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_02]: true progress in an evolutionary linear fashion, true progress necessitates that we be liberated, emancipated from the old outdated traditions and customs that are now racist and bigoted and phobic precisely because the present by definition is always superior to what preceded it.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_02]: So, burying the artifacts of Christendom was in many ways just baked into the cake of modernity itself.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_02]: The Soviets was just, they were just particularly brutal at it.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_02]: Fast forward to December 25th, 1991.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_02]: The Soviet Union, the most atheistic regime in human history collapsed on Christmas day.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_02]: Don't tell me God doesn't have a sense of humor.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_02]: The world held its breath.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_02]: What's going to replace it?
- 12:03[SPEAKER_02]: I think we weren't quite sure what to make of Yeltson's sort of drunken new leader.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_02]: But many scholars like Frank Fukuyama actually believe that Russia was going to be the next great liberal world power.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_02]: And then within ten years, the world was astonished to witness scenes like this.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_02]: This is a near exact replica of the cathedral that we just saw destroyed by the Bolsheviks.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_02]: It's cathedral Christar Saviour, built on the very spot that it was demolished.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_02]: Actually, Stalin had a swimming pool, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, built over it.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_02]: That has now been covered up, and that's what you're seeing rise in its place.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_02]: Russian President Vladimir Putin is in attendance at the midnight Easter Mass, standing in the place Zarnikolis would have stood as once again the self-proclaimed defender of traditional values and Orthodox Christianity in the world.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_02]: It's an astonishing scene, no one imagined in a million years this would return.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_02]: And for Russians it's filled with a lot of theological
- 13:43[SPEAKER_02]: It's widely believed among Russians.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_02]: I've talked with them about this, that the Soviet period they lived under, which lasted 70 years, was their Babylonian exile.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_02]: And if you know your Bible, Jeremiah 25, how long was the Babylonian exile?
- 13:59[SPEAKER_02]: 70 years, right, a perfect Sabbath as it were.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_02]: Just as Israel's 70-year exile ended with return and the reconstruction of the temple under Cyrus, so Russia's 70-year atheist captivity has ended with cathedral reconstruction and Christian renewal, and this is a very powerful theology in Russia right now.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_02]: Today, according to the latest numbers, the Russian Federation has rebuilt upwards of 30,000 churches since the fall of the Soviet Union.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_02]: Back in 1991, just after the Soviet Union disbanded, surveys found that about 30% of the population identified as Christian.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_02]: Today, that number is over 80%.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_02]: All of the thousand monasteries are back in operation.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_02]: and the seminaries are bustling, and the Russian Federation is once again proclaiming itself for right or for wrong, as the center of a renewed world-wide Christophe.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_02]: What on earth is going on here?
- 15:09[SPEAKER_02]: Truth is stranger than fiction is enough.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_02]: Well, as it turns out what's happening in Russia is not that different from what's happening literally all over the world.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_02]: In a word, it's called civilizationalism.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_02]: After decades, a secular liberal globalism dominating the world, order something extraordinary has been happening a place that very few scholars predicted a few of them did, Sam Huntington of Harvard, predicted it back in the late 80s.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_02]: What's happening is we're seeing nothing less.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_02]: than the great, ancient civilizations of the past, rising up in almost, Kaiju-like fashion.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, I'm a little nerd on that.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_02]: from the depths below, and returning in all of their splendor all over the world, Russian orthodoxy, Confucian-chan, President-Gee doesn't refer to China's communist anymore, it calls it Confucian.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_02]: Hindu Nationalist India, Shinto-Japan, Ottoman Turkey, and here in our own backyard, MAGA.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_02]: Now notice, though, because it's the same pattern you're seeing every world, make America great, again, we have to go back to the past in order to have a flourishing future.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_02]: All of these movements, Hindu, India, Confucian, China, Shinto, Japan, Orthodox, Russia, they're all recognizing the modern world's Donas wrong.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_02]: It steered us in a very bad direction, and what we have to do is we have to go back and find where we got off the path, recover, recoup and move forward, pick up where we left off.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_02]: And so what's happening here?
- 17:11[SPEAKER_02]: is that religion is coming back and in effect taking its rightful place as the sacred center of society.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_02]: And that's why religions not only going through this renewal that scholars talk about, but it's going through a rematerialization and a renaissance sacred art and architecture and music and liturgy as the cultural transmitters of this renewal.
