- 0:03Speaker 1: Enough is enough, I don't have any shall share your
- 0:07Speaker 1: shock and we hold the world bransom for excuse.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Me while I whip this out. Broadcasting live and Atlanta, Georgia.
- 0:18Speaker 2: This this is the Sports Shot Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 0:23Speaker 2: You may vegan, come so far? Comes just I'm a
- 0:38Speaker 2: doing Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way you made Vegan. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome.
- 0:46Speaker 3: You're listening to the Sports Shock Show. I am the
- 0:49Speaker 3: Sports Shock Wayne Gandy. Good morning to you out there
- 0:52Speaker 3: and listening land. Happy belated Easter for you that still celebrate.
- 1:00Speaker 3: I hope you had a peaceful weekend. A lot of
- 1:04Speaker 3: basketball with Attorney, both final fours going on over the weekend,
- 1:11Speaker 3: and if you moved around town, especially in Atlanta, you
- 1:14Speaker 3: did see a few more businesses closed to celebrate Easter.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Are we making a shift back to letting Sunday be
- 1:25Speaker 3: a day of rest and peace? You know everybody's always
- 1:28Speaker 3: talking about they need a mental health day. Well, the
- 1:33Speaker 3: Ages before us, they called that Saturday and Sunday. They
- 1:37Speaker 3: actually went out and took those days off as often
- 1:42Speaker 3: as possible. That's what made it the weekend. But now
- 1:45Speaker 3: since we celebrate everything every day all the time, regardless
- 1:50Speaker 3: of what it is, and we make up holidays, and
- 1:53Speaker 3: we make up what month it is and what day
- 1:56Speaker 3: here in Atlanta. Some of you might have seen what
- 1:59Speaker 3: they are calling four to oh four day, which is
- 2:02Speaker 3: the area code. But then I didn't understand. If you're
- 2:06Speaker 3: not at least fifty, then you don't even have a
- 2:09Speaker 3: four or four number. If you're not fifty years old,
- 2:17Speaker 3: late forties, then you don't have a four h four number.
- 2:21Speaker 3: You might live in the four to oh four area code,
- 2:24Speaker 3: but since then, when I moved here, there was only
- 2:27Speaker 3: one area code.
- 2:27Speaker 2: It was four oh four.
- 2:29Speaker 3: In the late nineties, they added one seven seven oh
- 2:33Speaker 3: about two thousand and five, two thousand and sixty added
- 2:36Speaker 3: another one six seven eight, And from what I hear,
- 2:42Speaker 3: they're up to another area code. That is the population
- 2:46Speaker 3: that grew here. But if you were not part of
- 2:50Speaker 3: the first two and a half million people here, then
- 2:55Speaker 3: you might not have a four or four phone number.
- 3:00Speaker 2: But I saw what y'all did. Though. You want to
- 3:03Speaker 2: bring freak Nick back, and you're calling it four oh four.
- 3:08Speaker 3: I see what it is. Man, it's always smoke and mirror.
- 3:14Speaker 3: I see you wanting to freak Nick back. You've done
- 3:17Speaker 3: a lot of soul searching on how can we and
- 3:21Speaker 3: now you're calling it for oh four day on peach
- 3:27Speaker 3: Tree down at Pete Munt with bands and marching parades.
- 3:34Speaker 3: It sounds like freak Nick is back a rebranding. Ah,
- 3:40Speaker 3: the good old rebranding the same coke, but the can
- 3:47Speaker 3: now has black letters.
- 3:48Speaker 2: No no, no, cause Freaknick was Freaknick was degrading to
- 3:52Speaker 2: women for four day.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Let's the ladies turn up right exactly?
- 4:00Speaker 2: Got that? Put that in the mission. Freak Nick asked
- 4:03Speaker 2: the women to write down right. Freak Nick wanted the
- 4:08Speaker 2: women to bust down on far day.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Encourages the ladies to turn up.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Sounds sophisticated. It dot contest and they the same art
- 4:20Speaker 2: content and they do the.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Pitch, pinch, pinch, pinch, pinch, pinch, pinch, pinch.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Pinch, pinch, pinch, pinch, pinch. Yeah, clockett, clock, there you go, pinch.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I just found this out. I don't know that. I
- 4:35Speaker 2: didn't know what is this. I just found this out
- 4:37Speaker 2: yesterday and I was like, well, I don't know why
- 4:40Speaker 2: y'all skip skipped the index finger and went over to
- 4:44Speaker 2: the middle. I don't know why. We just get on
- 4:47Speaker 2: the brain. I found out it was called clockett when
- 4:50Speaker 2: I was calling it pinch, pinch, pinch, pinch, pinch, because
- 4:52Speaker 2: that's what I would go on, Okay, pinch, pinch, pinch, pinch,
- 4:55Speaker 2: and that means clockett.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Oh when they do it, But when is it done?
- 4:59Speaker 3: I know, I didn't get all the particulars. I didn't
- 5:02Speaker 3: read the bylaws.
- 5:03Speaker 2: I was just it's when you it's it's it's this
- 5:07Speaker 2: generation's version of say that, Oh, I'll show you right,
- 5:13Speaker 2: and which is surprising because you're typically the person who
- 5:16Speaker 2: brings us the trap stuff. I didn't even know that
- 5:21Speaker 2: trapped until you die, say that a trap, trap, trap, trap.
- 5:25Speaker 3: But they have rebranded freak nick. They're calling it four
- 5:28Speaker 3: oh four day here in Atlanta, So I'm quite sure
- 5:32Speaker 3: you're hear more as it builds up and builds up,
- 5:35Speaker 3: and all you have to do to keep it around, right,
- 5:39Speaker 3: it stopped looting the malls if you stop. That's why
- 5:43Speaker 3: they had to kick you out of town. Y'all had
- 5:45Speaker 3: decided that you was gonna vic Kenny. He was gonna
- 5:48Speaker 3: come here. He was going to with his criminal mind
- 5:52Speaker 3: rob the people who attend the weekend and then go
- 5:57Speaker 3: back to Memphis. Oh, I'm sorry. Can I say Memphis?
- 6:00Speaker 3: I mean, go back out of town. Don't say Memphis
- 6:02Speaker 3: because then that's offensive to say Memphis. That was all capitalism.
- 6:09Speaker 3: We came like people for the Olympics. When you have
- 6:12Speaker 3: a big event, vendors come and make money. So we
- 6:16Speaker 3: be kind of like vendors, but we keep it at
- 6:18Speaker 3: our house. But I hope you had a blessed weekend
- 6:21Speaker 3: easter being yesterday the final four all weekend long. We
- 6:27Speaker 3: will talk about that champion. One thing I wanted to know,
- 6:31Speaker 3: the men's championship is to night the women's championship tomorrow.
- 6:35Speaker 3: We can't do them on the same day, Championship Day.
- 6:41Speaker 3: They shouldn't their own moment. We can't do three thirty
- 6:46Speaker 3: and seven championship day. Think about it, this championship it's
- 6:51Speaker 3: on a Sunday.
- 6:52Speaker 2: That could work, right, So you're saying the women could
- 6:56Speaker 2: have played yesterday at about three thirty and then the
- 6:59Speaker 2: men could have kicked it off at seven pm, and
- 7:03Speaker 2: which they want, and that was that would have been
- 7:05Speaker 2: the championship game.
- 7:06Speaker 5: That would mean that the semi finals are on Friday
- 7:11Speaker 5: night on Friday? Could that could that would be the
- 7:15Speaker 5: could those four games work on Friday.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Why not? I mean because they got if there's no
- 7:27Speaker 2: issue starting in the afternoon with the four games and
- 7:30Speaker 2: they're all and they're in the same location, well they've
- 7:33Speaker 2: done as I have. As I have said.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Since America has changed, I can only speak for our country.
- 7:40Speaker 3: When events happen in our country, we don't care about
- 7:46Speaker 3: work mm hmm, we take off.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Yeah. Or with the ability of technology work from home,
- 7:56Speaker 2: we watch it on TV on our phone. Yep. You
- 8:01Speaker 2: can sit at the Hibachi restaurant with your ear thing
- 8:05Speaker 2: in your ear while the man is throwing over your shrimp.
- 8:10Speaker 3: And have the phone right there. You don't have to
- 8:13Speaker 3: miss the game at all, at all, at no time anywhere.
- 8:17Speaker 3: You can be at a game. You can be at
- 8:19Speaker 3: a conference watching the game. Yes, yes, you can be.
- 8:23Speaker 2: You can be in the middle of a conference and
- 8:25Speaker 2: may be talking about the fourth quarter numbers and you
- 8:28Speaker 2: be like and missed the fourth quarter.
- 8:31Speaker 5: There was a Cubs game last week, like with Opening
- 8:35Speaker 5: Day and everything. At the Cubs game, there were a
- 8:37Speaker 5: couple of people with their laptops like working remote, but
- 8:40Speaker 5: they're at the game.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Have you have you ever done it? Have you ever
- 8:43Speaker 4: done it?
- 8:44Speaker 2: What is that sir, watched some tuned into something else
- 8:47Speaker 2: while you were because of the advent of the technology.
- 8:50Speaker 3: No, I have not, but I have been with someone
- 8:53Speaker 3: that's sitting over there keeping a look on the score
- 8:58Speaker 3: right and they were asking me you haven't downloaded that,
- 9:03Speaker 3: you know. I'm very with that kind of stuff in
- 9:07Speaker 3: church right now, keep with the cups. I still like
- 9:11Speaker 3: to live in the moment. So if I go to
- 9:13Speaker 3: the concert, I'm going to be at the concert. I
- 9:16Speaker 3: don't want to be at the concert watching the Laker game.
- 9:21Speaker 4: I prefer to be present as well.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Like that.
- 9:23Speaker 4: I might keep I might check the score.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Because the concert is going on, but I don't want
- 9:29Speaker 3: to be going back and forth.
- 9:32Speaker 2: But I'm just wondering if it would just make a
- 9:34Speaker 2: championship day? Do you think?
- 9:37Speaker 4: Do you think the only reason that more because.
- 9:40Speaker 3: You can you can kind of lose your audience based
- 9:42Speaker 3: on who's playing. That's the biggest thing. When you got
- 9:45Speaker 3: the teams, then there's no fall off. But if the
- 9:50Speaker 3: two teams aren't really what you want to see or
- 9:52Speaker 3: who you think you want to see, then you lose
- 9:54Speaker 3: as as That's why Monday Night had to go with
- 9:57Speaker 3: that kind of forget the word they use flex. All
- 10:03Speaker 3: these stations, are all these who bought these packages have
- 10:07Speaker 3: been able to write in that when we get around
- 10:11Speaker 3: to this game. Now, you know we in week twelve
- 10:15Speaker 3: and we were going to bring you the Chiefs versus
- 10:18Speaker 3: the Cowboys, but Patrick mahomes ame plan. The Chiefs are
- 10:22Speaker 3: three and ten. We want to bring in the Eagles
- 10:26Speaker 3: Baltimore games. It can be done. So it could be done.
- 10:30Speaker 6: You just had to put as great stated and we said,
- 10:33Speaker 6: the championship game for both the men and women have
- 10:36Speaker 6: to be in the same city.
- 10:37Speaker 2: But if you see the no, yeah, let me finish.
- 10:42Speaker 6: Let me finish what I'm saying, because if you do,
- 10:44Speaker 6: if you run like say you got all four games,
- 10:46Speaker 6: you gotta have four games, you gonna have two women's
- 10:48Speaker 6: game and two guys game at your regular conference game.
- 10:53Speaker 6: Championships you start at twelve o'clock that day to run
- 10:57Speaker 6: the through the night on a Friday, and up until
- 11:01Speaker 6: that we give so to pull it off.
- 11:03Speaker 2: I mean, and for me, you're you're coming up with
- 11:06Speaker 2: this uh algorithm of some sort of float chart of
- 11:11Speaker 2: how you have to pull it off. And I'm saying
- 11:13Speaker 2: right now, concurrently they are running about three basketball tournaments.
- 11:18Speaker 2: How how is it that you can't put four games
- 11:21Speaker 2: on one day?
- 11:22Speaker 4: They're running three basketball tournaments.
- 11:26Speaker 3: N I T game that is not against Tulsa came
- 11:28Speaker 3: on after the ladies went off, or you get to
- 11:32Speaker 3: my Auburn Tigers winning the n I T.
- 11:34Speaker 2: They got the Crown Basketball College College Basketball Tournament, so
- 11:39Speaker 2: we'll come back.
- 11:40Speaker 4: How come they couldn't do that?
- 11:41Speaker 2: Talk about u c l A.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Get these guys opinion on Gino and Don and they're
- 11:48Speaker 3: they're dust up. We got to talk about the Masters
- 11:51Speaker 3: and the absence of Tiger Lebron sharing his opinion. Uh,
- 11:57Speaker 3: it's just so amazing. When the le Brun thing dropped,
- 12:01Speaker 3: I was thinking, maybe it's just a slow media day
- 12:04Speaker 3: day because you get into conversations about what cities you
- 12:08Speaker 3: like in cities you don't like all the time. In
- 12:11Speaker 3: conversations all the time, I've had people I love Vegas
- 12:17Speaker 3: and you know, I don't really like Vegas. Like you
- 12:20Speaker 3: have those conversations all the time, but they are like
- 12:22Speaker 3: Lebron telling you that.
- 12:24Speaker 2: I'm like, well, maybe we just haven't had enough. Maybe
- 12:26Speaker 2: we should get.
- 12:27Speaker 5: More Iran coverage or something else. Five minutes since we
- 12:30Speaker 5: talked about Lebron. We gotta we gotta come up with
- 12:31Speaker 5: something Lebron news cycle every five minutes. Something has to
- 12:38Speaker 5: be We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right
- 12:40Speaker 5: after this.
- 12:45Speaker 2: I'm blasted.
- 12:47Speaker 7: Give me.
- 12:50Speaker 8: Joh't bowl Wayne Board of the Sports John Show with

- 14:00Speaker 10: start a conversation. Your family is going over to your

- 14:06Speaker 10: you ask if there are any unlocked guns in the home.
- 14:08Speaker 4: Hey, hey, we're so excited for tonight.
- 14:11Speaker 11: Before we come over, though, may ask if there are
- 14:13Speaker 11: any unlocked guns in your home.
- 14:15Speaker 12: Our guns are stored securely, locked in a safe that
- 14:18Speaker 12: the kids can't access.

- 15:10Speaker 9: Now it's time to present the Jock of the Day
- 15:14Speaker 9: on the Sports Jocksh's.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Taking it to a completely different level.
- 15:17Speaker 7: This year where we highlight an accolade that has taken
- 15:20Speaker 7: their game to the next level.
- 15:24Speaker 11: World's worlds world's famous, world world, world's famous.
- 15:31Speaker 2: You know listen et cetera, skateboard p and the Louis
- 15:35Speaker 2: Batade Dame.
- 15:37Speaker 4: It's so unfair, so unreasonable.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Let's go, I must hurt your feelings.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Welcome back to the Sport Shock Show. I'm the Sport
- 15:45Speaker 3: Shock Wayne Candy. Good morning to you, command you, Greg
- 15:47Speaker 3: bat producer Big Kenny in the studio today. I just
- 15:50Speaker 3: realized I gotta retrack, gotta read. I thought about it
- 15:54Speaker 3: in that little break. Can't do Championship Night for a
- 15:57Speaker 3: couple of reasons. Too many dominant colleges. Because you could
- 16:03Speaker 3: have the possibility of Yukon having both teams in the
- 16:06Speaker 3: Championship m which.
- 16:09Speaker 5: They've done twice.
- 16:10Speaker 3: They've done a Lot or Duke or North Carolina or
- 16:12Speaker 3: any of these programs, and it would be on the
- 16:17Speaker 3: same day, So any of those fans that wanted to
- 16:20Speaker 3: get to the other one could not make it. The
- 16:22Speaker 3: other thing is, I don't know if the fans can
- 16:26Speaker 3: handle that much pandemonium like last year when Yukon won
- 16:31Speaker 3: the man Men's and the women. I don't know if
- 16:34Speaker 3: the heart can take that much. That's why you have
- 16:36Speaker 3: to do it in the same city. Codn't take that
- 16:39Speaker 3: much yelling. I mean it's just me and Vic Kenny
- 16:41Speaker 3: talking all the time. Just so much laughing you can do,
- 16:44Speaker 3: and it's just you've exhausted me.
- 16:48Speaker 4: I want to go home now.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Is everybody going over? This was fun?
- 16:51Speaker 1: This was fun?
- 16:53Speaker 14: You know.
- 16:54Speaker 2: It was fun when we climbed the light poul and
- 16:56Speaker 2: when I punched a horse. But now here we are
- 16:59Speaker 2: like running with the gold post and bra you know,
- 17:03Speaker 2: have we been doing this long enough? Now let's go home. Yeah,
- 17:06Speaker 2: let's go home. I thought a couple of little things
- 17:08Speaker 2: that now that's too much on the art. Only because
- 17:11Speaker 2: of something like that. You have too many of these
- 17:13Speaker 2: teams that send multiple both their women's and men's team
- 17:19Speaker 2: to that event. Can you imagine that Yukon duke game
- 17:23Speaker 2: being like a championship game? Uh, and at night and
- 17:28Speaker 2: having one of those buzzer beaters as a champion that
- 17:31Speaker 2: afternoon in your like ukn't winnsday afternoon and you're like,
- 17:34Speaker 2: oh my goodness, I can't believe we pulled that off.
- 17:36Speaker 2: I don't even know if I should watch tonight. And
- 17:39Speaker 2: then tonight it's the same thing, and it's like, Elizabeth,
- 17:43Speaker 2: I'm coming to join you, honey. You're like, you know,
- 17:45Speaker 2: and everybody like because you would have to cancel school
- 17:48Speaker 2: the next day too. Nobody, it's a bad idea. The
- 17:52Speaker 2: whole state of Connecticut shut down. All of North Carolina
- 17:56Speaker 2: is just gridlock right now. This is a bad idea.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Nobody's going. So I saw my own and it seemed
- 18:02Speaker 2: like it was it was a cactus theory. It seems
- 18:04Speaker 2: a good idea at the time moment.
- 18:08Speaker 3: We can work it out there, like men championship tonight,
- 18:13Speaker 3: Michigan will take on Yukon.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Both programs so much history, uh, so many times. This
- 18:22Speaker 2: is Yukon's third time in four years being in this
- 18:26Speaker 2: position with Dan Hurley, who you can tell it. He's
- 18:32Speaker 2: just a character. He's a basketball guy from a basketball family,
- 18:37Speaker 2: still able to produce and get men to come to
- 18:40Speaker 2: Yukon and continue to win in Michigan. We always just
- 18:44Speaker 2: love Michigan basketball, all the way back in the eighties before.
- 18:51Speaker 4: Before we knew it was illegal, the.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Fab Five watching Glenn Rice and Wild Rice from the.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Corner and what was what was the point guard name,
- 19:03Speaker 3: Rameil Robbins, Rameil Robinson. So for some of you, it
- 19:06Speaker 3: didn't start with Jalen Rose, which is Jayleen. You have
- 19:10Speaker 3: me laugh every time I see anything with you. With
- 19:13Speaker 3: that infant black dye number one, he looks like a character.
- 19:18Speaker 2: He has like he has all this and that. He
- 19:22Speaker 2: looks like he's in costume. Yeah, yeah, because you could
- 19:25Speaker 2: tell it's fresh. You know, I'm about to be on
- 19:28Speaker 2: TV about to get fresh.
- 19:29Speaker 4: He mega mine. He looks like I know.
- 19:34Speaker 2: He's not thinning, so he has all he's fifty to
- 19:37Speaker 2: fifty one, he has all his hair like this.
- 19:39Speaker 5: Is I am here to talk busketball with you today.
- 19:43Speaker 5: There's a picture of the Fab Fire Becers. They were
- 19:46Speaker 5: at the game, him standing next to Juwan Howard Jowan
- 19:49Speaker 5: Howard still he does. His hair is gray though, but
- 19:53Speaker 5: him sitting next to Jalen Rose, he would think Jwan
- 19:55Speaker 5: Howard's like fifteen twenty years older.
- 19:59Speaker 3: And the thing also, I realized I need just public
- 20:02Speaker 3: service announcement, especially to my men with this Beijing. Dying
- 20:07Speaker 3: your hair before you invest in that fix your knees,
- 20:16Speaker 3: hold on because there's.
- 20:18Speaker 2: No need to be out here twenty year old hair
- 20:24Speaker 2: and seventy eight year old knees. You're getting out. I
- 20:27Speaker 2: saw you sitting in the truck and you look, you
- 20:30Speaker 2: had your hair dye. You don't have any great But
- 20:32Speaker 2: then you get out the truck and your hip looking
- 20:35Speaker 2: like doc rivers.
- 20:38Speaker 3: You're dragging up on one side. It just does not
- 20:42Speaker 3: compliment each other.
- 20:44Speaker 2: It does no good to dye your hair and walk
- 20:48Speaker 2: like you're seventy eight getting out of a vet.
- 20:51Speaker 3: It just doesn't. You might as well just be the
- 20:53Speaker 3: full seventy eight. Now, just do that for me out there,
- 20:57Speaker 3: because I know a lot of guys are standing on
- 20:59Speaker 3: the fence. I'm not ever going that route. So some
- 21:02Speaker 3: things I can always just be able to talk about
- 21:05Speaker 3: because I know I'm not I'm not gonna do that
- 21:07Speaker 3: do It's like it's like getting me for drunk driving.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Everybody can know he ain't never gonna get me. He
- 21:14Speaker 3: could have maybe been on I mean, maybe some advil,
- 21:18Speaker 3: because we didn't all been driving after we popped some pills.
- 21:24Speaker 2: I said advil. Nothing, say what nothing. I didn't say
- 21:30Speaker 2: no perk either. I didn't say who said perk? I
- 21:32Speaker 2: didn't Officer, No, that ain't That ain't in my pocket.
- 21:36Speaker 2: That ain't pocket. Was just advil, sir, unless make you
- 21:41Speaker 2: just on the phone with President Trump, which the bad.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Producer wanted to talk about Tiger calling President Trump, but
- 21:49Speaker 3: he was not. He was not strong enough because he
- 21:56Speaker 3: doesn't like the backlash from the people on his time.
- 22:01Speaker 3: So I don't know why we can't talk about Tiger
- 22:03Speaker 3: calling President Trump. But he mandated that we do not
- 22:06Speaker 3: discuss that topic today. So when we come back from break,
- 22:09Speaker 3: we will talk about the u c l A Bruins. Yeah,
- 22:12Speaker 3: women's bringing home the championships against the South Carolina game
- 22:16Speaker 3: Cocks in a blowout by Lauren Betts, and we will
- 22:20Speaker 3: not talk about what is that again, President Trump and
- 22:23Speaker 3: Tiger Woods. I thought we were going to talk. Oh,
- 22:27Speaker 3: he he's scared. Okay, we have a mind We'll be back.

- 23:57Speaker 2: But we do have one question for the veteran who's listening.
- 24:01Speaker 2: When is the last time you reached out for help?

- 24:25Speaker 17: using their typewriters, Why should it be any different for
- 24:29Speaker 17: us kids and our cell phones. Distracted driving was the
- 24:32Speaker 17: cause of more than three thousand deaths in twenty twenty two.
- 24:36Speaker 17: Come on, we're smarter than this. Let's put down the
- 24:39Speaker 17: phones and focus on the roads.
- 24:41Speaker 18: Drive safe, everybody, don't drive distracted. The message brought to

- 24:54Speaker 2: And now back to the sports job of Wayne Gandy
- 25:00Speaker 2: in the Radzo. Welcome back to the show.
- 25:25Speaker 3: I'm just watchath Wayne Candy, Good morning to you, happy
- 25:29Speaker 3: belatedt Easter March Maddiness Championship game tonight for the men
- 25:35Speaker 3: Michigan and Yukon doing battle, Yukon trying to take another
- 25:39Speaker 3: trophy something there women's team will could not do in
- 25:44Speaker 3: this tournament. When you look at their body of work,
- 25:47Speaker 3: you really still feel like they were the best team
- 25:51Speaker 3: of the year. But UCLA winning last night seventy nine
- 25:55Speaker 3: to fifty one over South Caroline, Don Staley and the
- 26:00Speaker 3: team coming up short. This is a game where I
- 26:04Speaker 3: knew UCLA would win because UCLA did what last year
- 26:10Speaker 3: they lost against Yukon the final game. That's called motivation.
- 26:17Speaker 3: South Carolina beat yukon Friday night, that's called celebration. When
- 26:23Speaker 3: you take a team down that you had no real
- 26:26Speaker 3: reason to beat, then your heart was satisfied. It felt
- 26:32Speaker 3: like you had won the championship and you forgot taking
- 26:37Speaker 3: into the mind of the athlete. It's a mental thing
- 26:40Speaker 3: with us. We go up and down of trying to
- 26:43Speaker 3: trigger those endorphins to continue.
- 26:48Speaker 4: All perform occupation.
- 26:50Speaker 3: You're satisfied, you're so accomplished, you're so filling yourself by
- 26:56Speaker 3: knocking off the mighty u kan that you forgot to
- 26:59Speaker 3: get ass up for the Mighty Bruins. The Bruins was
- 27:04Speaker 3: not satisfied beating Texas. They wanted to get to They
- 27:10Speaker 3: wanted to get to the championship and actually see you come.
- 27:15Speaker 3: They left the court last year. That's how I'll be back.
- 27:20Speaker 3: That's how he got me this time.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Come on back. You got it this time. Come ont
- 27:23Speaker 2: you gret We'll be back. You got me.
- 27:25Speaker 3: We got some for all of that, they didn't get
- 27:29Speaker 3: that opportunity. They couldn't even see the game. Cocks, what
- 27:32Speaker 3: are y'all doing out here? Y'all not ready for this.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Y'all aren't ready for this because we came to give
- 27:42Speaker 3: this to the Mighty you curR. And last night they
- 27:45Speaker 3: gave it to South Carolina. Inside outside, too much size,
- 27:50Speaker 3: too much strengths, too much focus. Everything going right for UCLA,
- 27:55Speaker 3: nothing going right for South Carolina, and all these tournaments
- 27:59Speaker 3: is always just one of those things.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Somebody gotta lose, that somebody has to lose. That's probably
- 28:04Speaker 2: the biggest thing that you go through. Somebody.
- 28:07Speaker 5: It's their first national championship, first ever, first.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Ever National Program Championship NC double A title. All five
- 28:17Speaker 3: starters were seniors. I think they said they scored the
- 28:22Speaker 3: last one hundred and seventy three points that something, some
- 28:26Speaker 3: crazy number. I was sitting there like, man, I must
- 28:28Speaker 3: have heard. I'm gonna have to read I'm gonna have
- 28:30Speaker 3: to rewind that. But it was like the last one
- 28:33Speaker 3: hundred and seventy three points that U c l A
- 28:35Speaker 3: scored in the tournament. We're all by their starter. Yeah,
- 28:40Speaker 3: you're talking about a group of women who had decided
- 28:44Speaker 3: we got smoke for anybody, bit king, anybody will come through,
- 28:47Speaker 3: anybody can get somebody, and uh, it was.
- 28:53Speaker 4: It was one of those.
- 28:54Speaker 2: When they got to the double digit deficit, I knew
- 28:56Speaker 2: then there's there's no way that I figured, you you
- 29:03Speaker 2: stand a credible chance of being close playing and everything
- 29:09Speaker 2: going right. With nothing going right for South Carolina, I
- 29:13Speaker 2: knew there's no way you're going to close that gap.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Once they started pulling away, this is over. And it
- 29:20Speaker 2: was still worth watching, but I kind of it was
- 29:25Speaker 2: a foregone conclusion pretty.
- 29:27Speaker 4: Early on producer, what did you see last night or
- 29:30Speaker 4: did you see you see the game?
- 29:31Speaker 6: No, I didn't get to see the game, so all
- 29:32Speaker 6: the highlights of it, but just as stated earlier and
- 29:37Speaker 6: you know, u c l A was determined they was
- 29:40Speaker 6: gonna get back. Like I said, they wanted to see
- 29:42Speaker 6: Yukhon and to them, they were like, Hey, we don't
- 29:45Speaker 6: care who it is now, We're just going here to win.
- 29:47Speaker 2: And that's what you got to say.
- 29:49Speaker 6: And then the seniors, you gotta look at that also,
- 29:53Speaker 6: that those young ladies been together, they stayed.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Nobody's transferred. There's no in and out. They built that.
- 30:00Speaker 6: They built a continuity to be able to feel as
- 30:03Speaker 6: old way. We're getting the first one for University of California,
- 30:08Speaker 6: Los Angeles, So congratulations to UCLA.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Now, all this catapulted off the dust up between Geno
- 30:15Speaker 3: Ariema of Yukon and Don Staley in the semi finals
- 30:23Speaker 3: at the end of that game in which South Carolina
- 30:25Speaker 3: obviously won because they were in the championship game. Gino
- 30:29Speaker 3: when they go to shake hands, a little argument, a
- 30:34Speaker 3: little screaming at each other. First person to contact me
- 30:39Speaker 3: about this was the bad producer because he felt like,
- 30:47Speaker 3: with Gino being white and Don bleing black, Gino only
- 30:53Speaker 3: disrespected Don because of a racial situation. No, sir, I
- 31:00Speaker 3: did not, and that became the storyline on today. I
- 31:04Speaker 3: got like four or five different people hit me up
- 31:08Speaker 3: that completely went into this racist box about it was
- 31:15Speaker 3: only done because Gino is a white man and Don
- 31:22Speaker 3: is a black coach. And for you that don't know
- 31:26Speaker 3: who might have just only tuned into women's basketball when
- 31:29Speaker 3: Don Staley became a head coach. Gino had the same
- 31:35Speaker 3: kind of dust up with Pat Summit. He had the
- 31:40Speaker 3: same kind of dust up with the lady the former
- 31:44Speaker 3: coach that does the broad color analysis, Muffett McGraw when
- 31:49Speaker 3: she was at Notre Dame.
- 31:52Speaker 4: He's had run in with the LSU coach they had, Yes,
- 31:55Speaker 4: he's had run in. He's Kim Molky for at least
- 31:59Speaker 4: thirty He's from Maryland and everybody.
- 32:05Speaker 2: If you think about it, the run ins he's had
- 32:07Speaker 2: were with the coaches who beat him. They can beat
- 32:11Speaker 2: him and recruit in championship games, in big games when
- 32:16Speaker 2: they beat him. He's very very well the.
- 32:18Speaker 3: People that he has to go into homes and compete with.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Because somebody was trying to tell me that it's not
- 32:27Speaker 3: about I'm like, these people compete three hundred and sixty
- 32:30Speaker 3: five days a year, not just on the court, but
- 32:35Speaker 3: on the rankings. It's the same seven eight teams that
- 32:38Speaker 3: keep going back and forth on a slat sliding board.
- 32:42Speaker 3: For a long time, Gino and Yukon has been one
- 32:45Speaker 3: of those teams. Don Staley said she's taken over. His
- 32:49Speaker 3: main competition is trying to convince somebody who wants to
- 32:52Speaker 3: go to South Carolina to come to Yukon. Vice versa.
- 32:56Speaker 3: We're better. We're better than kill Moch and Lsu. We're
- 32:59Speaker 3: better than Pat Summit. Y'all forget how when Pat had
- 33:02Speaker 3: it this see that's and that's the thing why I
- 33:05Speaker 3: always say stop all that comparison, because sometimes you're.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Forgetting, you're holding on to yours.
- 33:12Speaker 3: You won't accept the current, or you got the current
- 33:15Speaker 3: and you won't look at the past. Pat Summit was
- 33:19Speaker 3: the pinnacle. The Tennessee Volunteers were the benchmark that Geno
- 33:24Speaker 3: was trying to reach.
- 33:26Speaker 9: Won.
- 33:27Speaker 3: These were the things that went on. So this competition,
- 33:31Speaker 3: this dust up for some you know, unfortunately for Gino
- 33:36Speaker 3: who apologized. But trust me, in his heart he's apologetic.
- 33:41Speaker 3: He's looking at his team. My frustrations is with this team.
- 33:48Speaker 3: I have the team to win the championship. It could
- 33:51Speaker 3: be anything. I let y'all stay out a little later
- 33:55Speaker 3: we shouldn't have went over and done that speaking. It
- 33:57Speaker 3: could be we don't know what was in his head
- 33:59Speaker 3: where he's blaming himself. He's caught up in his emotion.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Unfortunately we're in When you're in sports, you're always your
- 34:08Speaker 3: good moments, your bad moments. Cocoa golf can't get further
- 34:12Speaker 3: enough off the court to be emotional.
- 34:17Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Losing hurts two thousand more notes in your head than winning. Ever, will.
- 34:31Speaker 2: You remember more of your losses and your failures in
- 34:35Speaker 2: sport than you do your successes. That guy that fumbled
- 34:42Speaker 2: that ball for the Red Sox against the Mets, Butler Buckler,
- 34:47Speaker 2: Bill Buckner, but it went almost crazy back in the
- 34:52Speaker 2: late seventies and early eighties. I forget the tight end
- 34:55Speaker 2: that dropped the touchdown for the Cowboys like these when
- 34:59Speaker 2: I'm telling you that Caden Cayden Boozer for Duke probably
- 35:08Speaker 2: go on and make two fifty three hundred, maybe three
- 35:11Speaker 2: hundred million dollars when he'll always remember that day he turned.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Trust me, Chris Weber looks just as nervous when you
- 35:21Speaker 2: see him with all the success he's had as when
- 35:24Speaker 2: he called that time out. Y'all. It don't go. I
- 35:29Speaker 2: wish I could tell you that it does not. It
- 35:31Speaker 2: is still there.
- 35:35Speaker 14: You know.
- 35:37Speaker 3: Pittsburgh. My first year, I gave up two sacks to
- 35:40Speaker 3: Tony Brackens. I'm still trying to process how I let
- 35:46Speaker 3: him beat me two times. That was in nineteen ninety nine.
- 35:52Speaker 3: It rolls in your head like it happened nine days ago.
- 35:56Speaker 2: I can't believe he jabbed me to the inside, right,
- 36:00Speaker 2: I said, I'm sitting here, I can remember that. That's
- 36:03Speaker 2: just like I remember holding my daughter for the thirst
- 36:06Speaker 2: time a play, even the games I had success against him.
- 36:11Speaker 3: That same play he chabming. I knew he was going
- 36:14Speaker 3: driving Greg. I had practices all week. I don't know
- 36:17Speaker 3: why I fell forward Big Kenny, Right, Remember the three
- 36:21Speaker 3: days up into the game.
- 36:22Speaker 4: I had Big Kenny do that move on me all
- 36:24Speaker 4: day in practice.
- 36:25Speaker 3: I was ready for it. That was his favorite move
- 36:28Speaker 3: he did, and I still fell for it. And yeah,
- 36:34Speaker 3: that's how it really works. People keep thinking it just
- 36:36Speaker 3: moves on. So Gino has to deal with all this,
- 36:38Speaker 3: and this is not excusing. I'm telling you what catches
- 36:41Speaker 3: coaches sometimes. Well, if don Staley coach enough going forward,
- 36:47Speaker 3: no tell him when she might retire, But when you know,
- 36:50Speaker 3: get forty one years, she might be on shot somebody
- 36:54Speaker 3: a bird who knows what goes on.
- 36:56Speaker 2: You hope not.
- 36:57Speaker 3: But unfortunately all your accolades on off the court, all
- 37:04Speaker 3: your mistakes are filmed. Just like he doesn't want to
- 37:07Speaker 3: talk about Tiger, other people have gotten speeding tickets, ran
- 37:13Speaker 3: in the trees.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Light poles, they own, gate at their home. They don't
- 37:19Speaker 2: show it. I've always thought that was wrong. Tiger had
- 37:25Speaker 2: an accident.
- 37:26Speaker 3: Y'all have shown the whole video of this man being
- 37:30Speaker 3: arrested with no sympathy, just knives in the back.
- 37:36Speaker 4: Would come back talk more about that right after this.

- 40:39Speaker 3: time ever winning a NC Double A tournament. Nineteen seventy
- 40:46Speaker 3: eight would have been when the NC DOUBLEA Tournament started
- 40:50Speaker 3: for women, and it is the first time basically last
- 40:53Speaker 3: forty eight years, they've never won it. With all the
- 40:56Speaker 3: excellent basketball that you seel late a rich tradition, five
- 41:00Speaker 3: seniors banding together, creating a moment that will always live
- 41:05Speaker 3: in their heart. We talked about Gino and Don Staley
- 41:10Speaker 3: and the bad producer's idea that everything stemmed from racial equality.
- 41:16Speaker 2: I did not.
- 41:18Speaker 4: That I'm gonna have to.
- 41:21Speaker 6: I said Gena What I didn't say. I didn't say
- 41:25Speaker 6: anything about color. I just said Geno was better. I
- 41:29Speaker 6: mean my thing was, I knew, as a lot of
- 41:33Speaker 6: people like you sports that the Pat Summit situation with
- 41:37Speaker 6: Gino for years and we as a break. I was
- 41:39Speaker 6: just referring everyone at Cannis Parker. He left her off
- 41:42Speaker 6: a us A team. So the gentleman is very petty
- 41:46Speaker 6: when it comes to you could call it petty, but
- 41:50Speaker 6: he's a winner and he's gonna go all out to try.
- 41:52Speaker 2: It can be both. A lot of winners are petty. Well,
- 41:59Speaker 2: you know, I don't want to be like Michael Jordan
- 42:03Speaker 2: telling the people he won't play for the Olympic team
- 42:06Speaker 2: if Isaiah Towns there petty allegedly excuse that wasn't allegedly.
- 42:14Speaker 2: Mike still hasn't. He hasn't admitted that.
- 42:18Speaker 3: Michael Jordan is the greatest endorser of his time. He
- 42:23Speaker 3: doesn't admit stuff or talk much because he understands that
- 42:26Speaker 3: he has a two hundred and fifty million dollars a
- 42:29Speaker 3: year deal with Nike it's okay that your hero has
- 42:35Speaker 3: a flaw and that doesn't even register as a flaw.
- 42:42Speaker 3: You want me on the team. I don't want to
- 42:43Speaker 3: play with him, y'all.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Pick that's what. That's not a flaw. That's him. It's
- 42:50Speaker 2: certain his authority. Excuse me, power player play. Yeah, but
- 42:59Speaker 2: I want to book Eddie Murphy. He tells me that
- 43:02Speaker 2: Big Kenny can't open for him. And don't think I
- 43:05Speaker 2: haven't asked who owned the show. No, nah, bro, I
- 43:13Speaker 2: don't want to show. That's not actual thing.
- 43:18Speaker 4: Nah bruh.
- 43:19Speaker 5: No, I'm saying y'all can do the show, but I'm
- 43:21Speaker 5: not if they know if everyone else on the Dream
- 43:24Speaker 5: Team said yeah, Michael said he wasn't gonna play if.
- 43:27Speaker 4: Isa, but nobody did.
- 43:29Speaker 23: Still, but I mean it was everybody. Everybody else on
- 43:32Speaker 23: the team said it. He doesn't have to say it
- 43:35Speaker 23: those guys. First of all, you do know the men
- 43:38Speaker 23: that were on that team were ogs. They're from the
- 43:42Speaker 23: era where you're never gonna hear the story. The guys
- 43:50Speaker 23: they don't have that. They don't talk like the modern
- 43:52Speaker 23: day player. They're not about to do a podcast and
- 43:55Speaker 23: tell you none of that stuff. You keep my secrets
- 44:00Speaker 23: keep y'all.
- 44:02Speaker 3: Remember we left Barcelona, flew over the rush that hung
- 44:04Speaker 3: out with Putin and then flew back the next night.
- 44:07Speaker 2: I did not.
- 44:10Speaker 5: Those guys rarely do, rarely do interviews in general.
- 44:15Speaker 3: You haven't seen Larry Bird or David Robinson or none
- 44:19Speaker 3: of those people. Karl Malone dropped off some lettuce this
- 44:22Speaker 3: morning in that eighteen willow and just getting people, don't
- 44:26Speaker 3: They from a different cut of their legends. They left
- 44:30Speaker 3: their lord in legend that you have to seek them out. True,
- 44:37Speaker 3: that's true. They just like we'll be talking about with
- 44:40Speaker 3: Joe Montana, you just be Joe Montana. That's how frequently
- 44:45Speaker 3: you see him somewhere.
- 44:48Speaker 6: You correct a lot of the older NBA players that that,
- 44:52Speaker 6: even the ones that some of the ones I played
- 44:53Speaker 6: golf with, they hey man, you're gonna get on the
- 44:55Speaker 6: showder man.
- 44:56Speaker 2: That's that's the new boy's time. I had my time.
- 44:59Speaker 2: They'll tell you that, and yeah, but don't expect them
- 45:02Speaker 2: to really tell you the dark side. We're just gonna
- 45:06Speaker 2: tell you enough about what we did. But we're gonna
- 45:11Speaker 2: tell you about that.
- 45:11Speaker 24: Oh no, I'm come telling Strawberry would show up with
- 45:14Speaker 24: that bag and then all of us, and then and
- 45:18Speaker 24: then no, no, this was just when it was white.
- 45:20Speaker 2: And then and then and uh what what the girl
- 45:25Speaker 2: named Patti La Bell did? That's the other one. They
- 45:27Speaker 2: all came over.
- 45:30Speaker 3: I tell people all the time, that's halfway why Hollywood
- 45:33Speaker 3: don't like President Trump, because until Trump went into politics,
- 45:38Speaker 3: he was in the room with him.
- 45:39Speaker 2: And it's the Gord and we were scared. He gonna
- 45:42Speaker 2: tell about that night. Remember that night, man was over
- 45:45Speaker 2: the rock Hudson House and you and we have known
- 45:47Speaker 2: you to have been president. We'd have never let you,
- 45:50Speaker 2: let you come on. You had never been in for sure,
- 45:53Speaker 2: though you couldn't have get elected for a president.
- 45:55Speaker 4: We just knew, we just knew.
- 45:57Speaker 2: He everybody he gonna tank what was the famous club
- 46:01Speaker 2: up there?
- 46:03Speaker 4: Fifty four?
- 46:04Speaker 2: All them people are shocked. How did you even get
- 46:07Speaker 2: on the ballot? He used to ask who he gonna test? Hey, man,
- 46:10Speaker 2: Trump saw you, so who he gonna tak what he
- 46:13Speaker 2: gonna say? But now it's old G triple O G
- 46:16Speaker 2: two tone. He can't tell them nobody, nobody, And here
- 46:19Speaker 2: he is on the witness stand.
- 46:21Speaker 4: Damn we all go back.
- 46:24Speaker 3: We are a sports shock showed. When we come back,
- 46:27Speaker 3: we will talk about Tiger calling President Trump. I said
- 46:30Speaker 3: him up.
- 46:31Speaker 2: It was April Food.
- 46:32Speaker 25: It was April fool, kind of like the Washington Wizards
- 46:34Speaker 25: Apple Fools April first Washington Washington Wizards had an April
- 46:38Speaker 25: Fool's Night where they made a fan feel like he
- 46:41Speaker 25: won ten thousand dollars food the old semi pro.
- 46:45Speaker 2: And he didn't win the ten thousand. We got it good,
- 46:48Speaker 2: but he didn't set the stadium on fire. They got
- 46:50Speaker 2: him good. He I'd have got moted him apologize though, Okay,
- 46:55Speaker 2: I'm sorry to yeah what they said.
- 46:59Speaker 4: We are all the food today. We all don't worry
- 47:02Speaker 4: about people. We're still mad and it's April. Don't worry
- 47:07Speaker 4: about it. Don't worry about it.
- 47:08Speaker 2: I'm the half of it.
- 47:09Speaker 4: April Food.
- 47:10Speaker 2: I'll be right back. Don't wear about this. If we
- 47:15Speaker 2: laugh and we laughed, I'll be right back. Don't worry
- 47:18Speaker 2: about it. Don't worry about it. It's not begging you
- 47:22Speaker 2: for something.
- 47:24Speaker 11: Something Jimmy wasted Dad.
- 47:31Speaker 8: Don't bowl Wayne Or of the Sports Josh Hill with
- 47:34Speaker 8: Wayne Gandibius coming up next.
- 47:38Speaker 14: I'm Scarlet Johansson. My family relied on public assistance to
- 47:41Speaker 14: help provide meals. For us. These meals fueled my involvement
- 47:44Speaker 14: in theater and the arts as a child, which fostered
- 47:46Speaker 14: my love for acting. The Feeding American network of food

- 48:10Speaker 22: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 48:14Speaker 22: It's a powerful opioid. It often made illegally and commonly
- 48:17Speaker 22: mixed with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into
- 48:20Speaker 22: counterfeit pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about
- 48:24Speaker 22: the size of a few grains of sand, could potentially
- 48:27Speaker 22: be lethal. This isn't an ad to scare you, but

- 49:43Speaker 2: You can't roll it back to this one. You gotta
- 49:45Speaker 2: you gotta roll, you got you gotta puff at eail.
- 49:48Speaker 27: This one.

- 50:06Speaker 2: to the show.
- 50:06Speaker 3: The Wars Shots, Wing Candy, the Bad producer, Big Kenny,
- 50:09Speaker 3: Command you Greg, All in the studio here today. It
- 50:14Speaker 3: is final four for the men's championship game tonight Michigan.
- 50:18Speaker 3: You can Yesterday, UCLA Bruins the women seventy nine beating
- 50:25Speaker 3: the South Carolina game Cocks fifty one. Big championship, first
- 50:30Speaker 3: time ucl A. Huge moment for that women's program out
- 50:34Speaker 3: there and La we left talking about the prank of
- 50:38Speaker 3: the Wizards. Command you, Greg, want to make sure I
- 50:42Speaker 3: explained that really everybody was in on the joke except
- 50:47Speaker 3: the fans. So the fans, everybody in the building thought
- 50:51Speaker 3: the man that won the ten thousand dollars, but it
- 50:55Speaker 3: came out to be a practical joke. Now, Big Kenny
- 50:59Speaker 3: just on me too that he doesn't like practical jokes, pranks, pranks.
- 51:05Speaker 3: I don't like prank. He doesn't like magic because he
- 51:09Speaker 3: believes that I did make the car disappear.
- 51:14Speaker 2: Well, no, I'm saying that there are magicians, and those
- 51:17Speaker 2: are people that pull off illusions, and then there are wizards,
- 51:21Speaker 2: and we are people who graduate from hall courts.
- 51:24Speaker 4: And that's the difference.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Some people are fooling you and the rest of us
- 51:29Speaker 2: are really doing magic, so we really work in the craft.
- 51:34Speaker 2: This is a fantasy book, of course muggles would think so.
- 51:39Speaker 2: But and this is I think the thing for me
- 51:43Speaker 2: about pranks. I don't mind harmless pranks. In college, one
- 51:48Speaker 2: of my favorite pranks was to stand at the base
- 51:51Speaker 2: of a building and look up and point, and then
- 51:54Speaker 2: a crowd of people would eventually gather around me, all
- 51:57Speaker 2: staring into the sky, and I would walk away, just
- 52:01Speaker 2: leaving like seven or eight people looking up for what
- 52:04Speaker 2: I was staring at.
- 52:05Speaker 4: And it's it's kind of harmless.
- 52:07Speaker 2: But the pranks were you scaring people and making them
- 52:10Speaker 2: think they want money and getting excited. Then their heart
- 52:13Speaker 2: get broke when man, I just quit my job behind it.
- 52:16Speaker 2: You know that some of that stuff, Uh, the punked
- 52:19Speaker 2: era sort of elevated the level of potential for tragedy.
- 52:31Speaker 2: And we just had one recently in here in the
- 52:33Speaker 2: Atlanta area where the young the high school kids, oh yeah, they.
- 52:40Speaker 5: TV the teacher's house. Yeah, and the and the and
- 52:44Speaker 5: the teacher came after them. But the trips and he
- 52:46Speaker 5: ran the teacher.
- 52:48Speaker 2: And so that's usually a very harmless prank, and it
- 52:51Speaker 2: it went wrong. You see what I'm saying. Unfortunately, we
- 52:54Speaker 2: yeah that little one or two out of one hundred, Yeah,
- 52:56Speaker 2: go wrong. We jump on Thosese and endeavor. You know,
- 53:00Speaker 2: it scares people off when that kind of happens. The Championship,
- 53:05Speaker 2: we'll talk about Gino Tiger Woods. The bad producer wanted
- 53:09Speaker 2: to talk about Tiger Woods calling the president. Someone else
- 53:12Speaker 2: asked me about that. I didn't know whether it was
- 53:14Speaker 2: a true story or not. But my whole thing was
- 53:19Speaker 2: that you tried to add in how you would have
- 53:22Speaker 2: seen it, and oh, he trying to get off?
- 53:26Speaker 4: How did you figure that?
- 53:29Speaker 3: How about I was calling the person who I might
- 53:33Speaker 3: feel like, I need to know what situation I put
- 53:36Speaker 3: them in. What happens to me? Next time you go
- 53:40Speaker 3: to the podium, people are going to ask you about it,
- 53:43Speaker 3: about which they did as soon as it happens. I
- 53:46Speaker 3: understand how significant how we both are to each other,
- 53:53Speaker 3: whether that's something you do. I get questions about you.
- 53:56Speaker 3: I haven't seen you in two months, but they keep
- 53:58Speaker 3: asking me about something you did, and vice versa, and
- 54:02Speaker 3: we get together and talk.
- 54:05Speaker 2: You tell me.
- 54:07Speaker 3: And when you get that phone call, when you're probably
- 54:10Speaker 3: calling the two or three people that you feel like
- 54:14Speaker 3: need to know of what's going on, and that might
- 54:17Speaker 3: be someone who's in his rolo decks. He called his
- 54:21Speaker 3: kids or you know, his wife, young whoever, and then
- 54:24Speaker 3: he called the person he knows is gonna get blasted
- 54:29Speaker 3: with questions about this. He didn't call his brother to
- 54:33Speaker 3: tell him, or his sister to tell him, because nobody's
- 54:36Speaker 3: gonna ask him about that. But they're gonna ask.
- 54:39Speaker 2: And nobody talks to Charlie, Charlie, nothing but the little
- 54:46Speaker 2: girl's name, his daughter.
- 54:50Speaker 4: Nobody even knows her name.
- 54:52Speaker 2: I can't think right now.
- 54:54Speaker 3: And those are that moment when you do have your phone,
- 54:56Speaker 3: before they arrest you and take it right, you need
- 54:58Speaker 3: to inform who you think you should right. Yeah, but
- 55:03Speaker 3: now but now to say I'm sorry. I was on
- 55:06Speaker 3: the phone with President Trump. Two things can be true.
- 55:09Speaker 3: One I was informing him that, man, they're gonna ask
- 55:13Speaker 3: you about this.
- 55:14Speaker 4: And two this should somehow.
- 55:20Speaker 2: Shift the mood of this interaction with the cop I'm
- 55:24Speaker 2: on the phone with, because the cop was on some Hey,
- 55:26Speaker 2: I need you to come back down here where you
- 55:29Speaker 2: can start answering questions about this accident. Oh I'm sorry,
- 55:32Speaker 2: I was on the phone with President Trump. Oh my bad,
- 55:34Speaker 2: mister Woods. Is how it was perceived to me, and
- 55:37Speaker 2: from the interaction thereafter was kind of how it was
- 55:40Speaker 2: perceived by the cop too, because the cop, in my opinion,
- 55:43Speaker 2: started becoming a little more police perpetrator with Tiger att
- 55:49Speaker 2: that will we suspect this? And you know, it went
- 55:52Speaker 2: from a mister Woods to a look, I need you
- 55:54Speaker 2: to turn around. I'm gonna need you to well.
- 55:56Speaker 3: In those interactions, at least I haven't experience a ticket
- 56:01Speaker 3: from a sense of some kind of d W I
- 56:05Speaker 3: or d U I or any of that kind of
- 56:07Speaker 3: stuff or even anything. I didn't feel free that it
- 56:10Speaker 3: was just an accident. But it seems that when you
- 56:12Speaker 3: do hear recordings, people of note will identify themselves as
- 56:18Speaker 3: whoever they are or whoever they are related to, or
- 56:22Speaker 3: they say, my lawyers on the phone, they it's not
- 56:25Speaker 3: like this is an uncommon No, no, no, it's not.
- 56:29Speaker 4: It's not it's not it's not correct, okay, so and
- 56:34Speaker 4: and the President.
- 56:36Speaker 2: I think to myself, if that was a card I
- 56:39Speaker 2: could play in an emergency situation to get myself out
- 56:43Speaker 2: of trouble. Well, I had it. I'm sure I throw
- 56:46Speaker 2: it down, and I don't think I don't think very
- 56:50Speaker 2: few of us can call the people some Yeah. Hey,
- 56:57Speaker 2: look man, this is mister Howard Stark on the phone.
- 57:00Speaker 2: He was on Anthony. I ain't Tony no more. I'm Anthony.
- 57:04Speaker 2: Now I'm his son Anthony. And he's only you know
- 57:08Speaker 2: how It Stark, the one they named Starkville after. Y'all
- 57:12Speaker 2: know him. He was, Yah, y'all know him. Here, talk
- 57:15Speaker 2: to my dad. If I could pull the President Trump
- 57:18Speaker 2: card and I rolled my car with.
- 57:22Speaker 3: Was and especially if you are doing this under the
- 57:28Speaker 3: influence of something, Yeah, that's what I'm saying you already.
- 57:30Speaker 3: I got pills in my mind. It's not I have
- 57:34Speaker 3: pills in my pocket.
- 57:35Speaker 2: And when they asked him about the pills, he said, yeah,
- 57:37Speaker 2: those are Narco automatically.
- 57:40Speaker 4: But they're not in the bottle. They ain't got no label.
- 57:43Speaker 2: They just in my pocket in a little bag, look
- 57:47Speaker 2: like contraband do you before we go, do you think
- 57:51Speaker 2: we will ever get to a point where we take
- 57:53Speaker 2: that back from public.
- 57:56Speaker 4: Viewing the release of.
- 58:01Speaker 2: Oh no, it never back.
- 58:03Speaker 3: That needs to go back in the box though, doesn't
- 58:05Speaker 3: it that needs to be something the prosecutor the judge.
- 58:12Speaker 5: We see it like months later. But the parameters are
- 58:17Speaker 5: should we be privy to.
- 58:18Speaker 4: It period.
- 58:22Speaker 2: Or do they just need to months later they showing
- 58:24Speaker 2: the risk. Just have a channel that all arrests as
- 58:30Speaker 2: they happen.
- 58:33Speaker 5: I think, I, well, then all this stuff that because
- 58:36Speaker 5: there is a there is a channel where it's like police.
- 58:40Speaker 2: Right now. What he's saying months later is that used
- 58:45Speaker 2: to be you'd have to go through the Freedom of
- 58:47Speaker 2: Information Act to research it and get them to still
- 58:52Speaker 2: have to do that. But all these people who have
- 58:55Speaker 2: phones and body cams and you can access them from
- 58:59Speaker 2: your way upcam, there is no way to delay the information.
- 59:05Speaker 2: We live in a well. If you got it on film,
- 59:07Speaker 2: it should be legal to show society. And that's the
- 59:10Speaker 2: problem if you figure just because you got a phone,
- 59:13Speaker 2: you ought to be able to film my life and
- 59:16Speaker 2: show people, and that's not right. But people who are
- 59:20Speaker 2: in favor of it tell me that I'm in the
- 59:23Speaker 2: public public domain. The thing I think, no, no, no,
- 59:27Speaker 2: I'm talking about the police footage. Yeah, I'm saying all
- 59:30Speaker 2: of it, not now. If you're on the street. Unfortunately
- 59:33Speaker 2: you give that up. But we shouldn't have the it's
- 59:37Speaker 2: an access we should have.
- 59:41Speaker 5: It's in like defends, like everyone has their their footage,
- 59:44Speaker 5: like no, the police is what happened.
- 59:46Speaker 2: The copy the video should not be out period period,
- 59:55Speaker 2: And people who are for civil liberty say that that
- 59:59Speaker 2: for the the danger and the lawyer, then that is
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: not for you.

- 1:00:31Speaker 2: that's it. If we if you don't release it, y'all

- 1:00:37Speaker 2: it for impropriety. What I'm saying that everybody likes this
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: until it's them. Everybody is on board for all buffoonery
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: until it's them and theirs. So I'm just more of
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: a person. That is none of my business to see
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: Greg getting arrested. It's just not right.
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: It's just it's inherent.
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: But like some of you will find entertainment value.

- 1:03:02Speaker 2: Comes.
- 1:03:08Speaker 10: I'm yeah, I'm gonna go on the.
- 1:03:11Speaker 11: Way you made me.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: Welcome back to the set. I'm the spot shock Wayne Canny.
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: Get morning to you. Happy be laid it Easter once again,
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: war you go to my Auburn Tigers men's basketball winning
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: the n I T.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: I know a lot of you don't know the n
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: I T, but it used to for a minute.
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: I really can't compete with the n C Double A
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: as far as people knowing about it, not in New
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: York was cool. Yeah, it was a thing that you know,
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: it wasn't it. It never particularly once the n C
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: Double A started was as prestigious, but people kept an
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: eye on who was in the n I T as well.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: The first time I ever heard of the n I
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: T was when Southern Mists went back in the eighties
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: and one and the campus erupted. It was one of those,
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: like you said, out in North the heart can take
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: this much excitement. People got injured on campus from accidents.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: There was a toilet papering of the entire university. It
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: was one of those times, one of those moments for
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: the books.
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: Tiger Woods, Donald Trump, Geno, Don Staley. What else have
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: we covered already? Cam Boozer, the Butler Kin. We talked
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: about Kine, but cam Boozer wins the Naate s Myth
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: Men's Player of the Year, the Young Freshman. I think
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: it makes it like the sixth or seventh freshman to
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: ever win that award Player of the Year for the
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: Naysmith Award. For Duke, it'd be interesting if he returns
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: and you know, before he goes to the pros.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: Most likely he.
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: Will leave, but you imagine his game's gonna have to
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: add a little more outside weaponry to it then and
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: more consistent. Would he I do see him. He can
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: shoot a little bit, but he's kind of that more
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: or nineties two thousands, like his dad a little bit.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: It's a little more wiggled to him than his dad did.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: But they've kind of gotten away from that traditional power forward.
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: I like that description.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: A little more wiggle than his dad, and his dad
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: not a whole bunch more, you know, a fast muscle
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: twitch at too.
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: The extra six. The six freshmen to win the award,
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: four of them have been from Duke really, Cooper Flag
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: last year, Zion and.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: There's one. There's one I'm.
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: Missing your boy tat him.
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: I think he did.
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: He win three three, Three of the six are from
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: Duke so Zion and Cooper Flag or the other two okay, okay,
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: and those are recent so he did over the last
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: seven years that that has happened, So Duke, and it'll
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: be a pattern if he leaves too, because those other
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: two were one and done. So the other three, uh,
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: One and done, one and done. And y'all getting the
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: pattern that five of those six already have. It was
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: one and done. Yeah, Oh, it's it's five yeah, So Durant,
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: Anthony Davis, Zion, Cooper Flag.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: Came.
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: So it's only five. Okay, they got three out of.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: Five, gotcha, and all of them one and that's speak
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: Cooper Flag. Uh maybe, And a lot of people have
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: him gonna be the Rookie of the Year in the
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: NBA last night, great game against the Lakers. Lakers down
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: three of their top eight players. When you look at Luca.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: Austin Reeves and I'm smart, we're all out last night
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: and trying to do everything he could.
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: And Brunnie. When I watched Brunnie, I can see why
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: you take a chance with Brunnie. I see that Patrick Beverly,
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: Patty meals Jarrett Jack, that two guard that knows he's
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: a two guard, that second point guard.
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: Do we know he a two guard?
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: Though, yeah, a little undersize. I mean two guard. I'm
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: talking about like your second point guard. Okay, I'm sorry
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: for my word on it. Your second point guard, your
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: back up point guard. All those guys I name most
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: of their careers. Unfortunately for all of them, they moved
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: around to a bunch of teams. But I watch him.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: Though you can see the athleticism, I would imagine, the
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: biggest part it is just still.
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: He's seen his dad, And how do I match up
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: to that. I'm the son of a basketball god and
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: I'm out here and what I do still pales in
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: comparison with the dude that's brought me into the world.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: Like that's a very because most people, if they do
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: find themselves by the time Ken Griffy got on the
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: field with his dad, his dad wasn't even a pinch hitter.
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: He was kind of just on the team as a
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: veteran voice. Usually that's how far you will have faded.
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: But for you to go get on the court with
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: your dad and your dad is still better than you,
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: it has to be something that's a little different.
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: That's the thing though, I think, like for any whether
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: you know, if this situation with Brianni and Lebron or
- 1:08:57Speaker 5: any son of an NBA player that comes is the league,
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: I think the best thing you do is just carve
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: out your own identity. Like Scottie Pippen Jr. Is not
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: the same player that Scottie Pippen, but they're not playing together.
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: But even though that even you have to take that out.
- 1:09:15Speaker 5: Even is not You're no, I'm saying, like, whether they're
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: playing together or not, they're not in the league. At
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: the same time, they still have to I think he
- 1:09:23Speaker 5: still has to carve out his own because he's not
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: going to be the same player. And not when not
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: when you and your dad are showering after the game
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: together and it's a different thing. You're you're talking about
- 1:09:34Speaker 5: my daddy is watching me, versus my dad is actually
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: passing me the ball.
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: Right, It's still not going to be the same player
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: either way. He's not going to be the same kind
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: of player.
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: Like comparing himself to him like that's it's it's not
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: going to help him from a fan person.
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: That doesn't help him from a fan perspective, or I
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: can't help.
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: But running down the court with the man who birthed me,
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: I'm in the gym with him, I'm actually playing on
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: the team is different than I'm the son of an
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: ex player. Completely. They're not even in the same vein
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: whether they're playing together or not. Though they're it's they're
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: not the same player, and they're still gonna be trying
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: to compare them.
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: They're still gonna be like each other, whether they were
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: playing together or talking about what the fans are comparing.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: I'm talking about me. Actually, I've been Everything I was
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: trying to do was from watching you. I just want
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: to make you. Now I'm actually out here with you,
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: and I still can't.
- 1:10:49Speaker 17: You can't.
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: How could he not?
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: I mean that, that's all. That's the only thing you
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: can do. You can't because you're still frozen of watching
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: the man who taught you how to do it. There
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: is no master and Underling. Listen, there is no they
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: had to kill off Yoda to free Luke Skywalker. The
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: only reason Darth Vader was freaking he was the dark side.
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: And this is what this is what I'm saying is anytime,
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: as a fan I watched them, I'm automatically thinking about
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: how this dude. Ain't that dude not on no mental
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: When I remember watching him that time, I'm talking about
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: look at him, look at him. When they come out
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: of the locker room, I'm standing there, like, good game, Bronnie.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: But boy, when you get good, is this man here?
- 1:11:48Speaker 27: Man?
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: That the third quarter thing you did?
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: And now all Lebron James junior Bronnie James has been
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: trying to make his daddy proud.
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: I want you to sit and watch.
- 1:11:59Speaker 22: Me and go.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: I taught him that you ain't sitting and watching. You
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: actually still doing the stuff I'm trying to do, and
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: you're still doing it better as your son. I feel
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: like a little kid playing shoot around with you. Don't
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: nobody respect me as a true NBA baller. They respect
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: me as Lebron's son who got some handles a little bit.
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: But did you see Lebron at that age, Bro, He's
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: still I understand what sports Jack is saying. I'm a
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: little kid, always piling around with my daddy and my
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: daddy ain't no og out here limping my daddy straight
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: and served you twenty eight points and you are always.
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: Saw When I was five, I saw him give carmel
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: O fifty. Now I'm twenty one on the team with him.
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: I just saw him serve the guy that I'm really with,
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: Cooper Flagg. He's serving the dude that went to high
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: school with him.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: What's the guy? It's an another guy that went to
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: high school with Brunnie is in the NBA.
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: And Lebron serving him.
- 1:13:07Speaker 13: Dude.
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: Yeah, he on went from the driveway to Madison squear
- 1:13:13Speaker 3: Garden doing the same thing to us.
- 1:13:14Speaker 6: Speak of Cooper Fla he did pass Alan Ivers the
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: record last night, but dropping at forty five as a
- 1:13:20Speaker 6: nineteen year old, what can he do?
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: I know you want to get but we're still on Lebron.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: We're not talking about Cooper flat now.
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: If you don't have nothing to say about this, Lebron tt,
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: just sit over there and be quiet until we get
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: to the end, and then we'll change the subject for you.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: But I'm still on this idea.
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: It's a difference between your dad watching you and your
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: dad playing with you. It was a nervous injury, and
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: there's a nervous energy that I can't even brag and
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: say I'm better than him. I'm actually living in a
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: time where the comparison is still at forty one. This
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: man is still better than me at twenty one.
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: Steal, steal.
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: What can Brownie do? Its duce like like Cooper Flagg
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: that I respect and play with as my peer, coming
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: up to me, going good game, bro, Hey may introduce
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: medio Daddy, Amen, and they then he could do this,
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: Hey man, induce me. Dad.
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: You just gotta deal with it. We'll be back more.
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: Sports Day can have his jersey right after this.
- 1:14:28Speaker 11: And any time you call me, I'll be job.

- 1:18:19Speaker 2: Went to the league. He was in the league, and
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: now that he's out of league, smoke, he said, smoke one,
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: two and three. He all the smokes. That is that
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: that's the sports shock. That is legendary. Stephen jack Man
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: what a defender hard knows. Every team needs a Stephen
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: jack That's what some teams forget. You do need that, Draymond.
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: Stephen Jackson kind of character, Charles Oakley, that kind of
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: not as I'm just out here to try to figure
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: out how to help you win. I don't have a
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: roll some rolls some days it's for twenty points. Some
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: days it's just to shut down the defender, right. Some
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: teams don't have that, but that's a key guy. Some
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: days I might just kick somebody in the chest that
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: Dennis Rod. I'm saying it wasn't really no reason for
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: me to kick him in the chest other than his
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: chest was there and my foot was too.
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a reason Dennis has all those rings and
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: those teams that he was on the legendary. It was
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: a certain role that he played that everybody, you need
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: to find you one that can bring that kind of energy.
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: Paul Rudd a man. It's fifty seven, Todd Christly, is
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: he still in jail? No nothing, He's president got him out, Okay,
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: fifty seven years old as well.
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: Zach Brown. That's how he and his wife got out,
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: as the President pardoned them and sprung him out of jail.
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: If I could play the card, I would. I ain't
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: trying to criticize. I'm saying game recognized game. So when
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: you got the big Joko at some point you played.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: One time, I was in jail in New Orleans. One
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: of my frat brothers is a city councilman. They can
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: get you out on your own recognizance. Just by calling
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: down there. He sprung me out and we partied like
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: it was nineteen ninety.
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: Zach Brown fifty one. Billy D Williams still around mc kenny.
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: I know you thought Billy D was gone works every
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: time eighty nine.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: Years eighty nine, you think he's still getting that on.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: You think Billy D still got the fans like he had.
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: Like, hey, lady questioning, is Kenny still drink coke? Forty five?
- 1:20:23Speaker 4: Every time? That's I'm at the house.
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: The Sterling Sharp sixty one, Gunner Stockton is twenty two,
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: Jackie Chan seventy two, Ceedee Lamb twenty seven, desh Loaf
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: is thirty five. Katie Sakoff for you to watch Battlestar
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: Galatte the cuss he plays Starbucks forty six. Robin Wright,
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: who will always be jinny to me from Forrest Gump
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: right is sixty. Ricky Waters very underrated, underappreciated running back
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: in his time in the NFL. Ricky Waters fifty seven.
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: Tinkey Barber fifty one, So that makes who else fifty one?
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: Run down there we go.
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: The Barber brothers Roundei and Tiki fifty one, both of
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: them Bill Bellamy sixty one, Maximus of Russell Crowe at
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: sixty two, and the man who I idolized and patterned
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: my football life behind Unleasa until I was ten, and
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: then side took over.
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: But at eight.
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: I was Tony dor set and tell me my moves,
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: my speed, my lusiveness, just like the Hall of Famer.
- 1:21:41Speaker 3: Tony dorsaid, I had that had John Blaze, and I break.
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: I was just like doing and everybody would say that
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: look that boy looked like.
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: I wasn't there. But I can hear the whispers that
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: boy looked like Tony does that. And they said a
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: long time after but they and they would always add.
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: But when Ding the size to come, my grow sper
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: his growth spurt hit and he became green. At some
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: point he went from Tony said to mean Joe green.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: But boy, when he was like in the third grade,
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: before that growth spurt hit, he was all Tony D.
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: He was Tony D my man and the first guy
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: I truly humbled myself as I got to the NFL.
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: So I'm at a Super Bowl party out in Phoenix,
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: and I made my way over there and I told
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: him that story, and he looked at me in a laugh.
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: The size difference, like mister Dorris said, I don't call
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: me mister, I said, I introduced. I went to rams,
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: I said, man when I was in the third grade. Though, man,
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: my tony door set in the third legend, and he
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: was probably thinking you me and you was about the
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: same size when yeah, probably probably ken a little work here.
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: I don't know about work, but I.
- 1:23:01Speaker 4: Know who gets it. I can't help it if I
- 1:23:04Speaker 4: look good, if I smell good, if I could whoa
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: dance all night long.
- 1:23:08Speaker 24: Charlotte Flair, clunk clump, she holding them gators down, high flying,
- 1:23:16Speaker 24: relex wad, limousine, riding, kiss, stealing, wheeling, dealing, the son
- 1:23:24Speaker 24: of a gun and she's the son of a gun's daughter.
- 1:23:29Speaker 4: So clunk clunk, Charlotte Flair looking good to at forty. Yes, yes, Charlotte,
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: I I'd back to belly suplex you.
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: I really would.
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: Insurance fraud out at Mount Everest guides are I have
- 1:23:45Speaker 3: been accused of poisoning some of the climbers to force
- 1:23:50Speaker 3: fake rescues. There have been thirty two people charged, eleven arrested.
- 1:23:57Speaker 3: All that's happened between twenty twenty two and twenty twenty
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: how much money they get sports twenty million dollars scam.
- 1:24:03Speaker 3: More than forty seven hundred climbers were affected. They were
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: poisoning in setting up fake rescues. You remember when we
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: talked about a scripted dictating outcomes, fixing things. It takes
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: a lot of people to do it to make sure
- 1:24:21Speaker 3: it worked right. How many people they arrest sports jocks?
- 1:24:24Speaker 3: They have charged thirty two and they have arrested eleven,
- 1:24:28Speaker 3: so thirty two charge. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: We were earlier talking about games being scripted, in the
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: league being rigged. These people are climbing instructors and stuff,
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: and is still to thirty to it. All of them
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: was in Evers basically all the Mount Everest people and
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: what I read in person from the check in person
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: to the person who put your luck for real, and
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: this is what I don't understand. So if you've ever
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: tried to book a mountain climbing scursion, it ain't cheap.
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: I mean, that ain't enough for y'all. Y'all wasn't cool
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: with the little fifteen thousand dollars I make per trip
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: I had to start.
- 1:25:08Speaker 4: I think it's hired. I think it's higher than that.
- 1:25:10Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. And you steal page.
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's like that's that's the cheap that
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: just gets you to live in the area. Yeah to
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: base can that gets you base camp? Yeah, if you
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: want to go up to mountain, you're going to start
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: writing a lot about fifteen grand and itself. You want
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: me to take you up and back?
- 1:25:30Speaker 4: Yeah, thirty to forty thousand. So what was the rescue? Yes, wow,
- 1:25:36Speaker 4: what was the rescue attempts?
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: Well, the rescue attempts they what they would do is
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: somebody's altitude sickness and then have the have the helicopter
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: come and get you, come and get you.
- 1:25:49Speaker 5: The thirty to forty is the basic package. Yeah, that's
- 1:25:52Speaker 5: what I'm saying. And now and now thinking about it.
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: And this is the thing. For the people who weren't
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: on board with pulling off the scam, they put excess
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: baking soda in their food, which gives you gastric distress,
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: which is a symptom of altitude sickness, so that they
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: could pull off the scam anyway, even if you wasn't
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: in and on it. All the rescuers and people were
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: determined to pull this off.
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: When we come back, we'll talk about Lebron James, his
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: comments about Memphis and Milwaukee. Shannon Sharks, speaking of Memphis,
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: says John Morant's ghetto mentality.
- 1:26:28Speaker 4: It's what's killing his career. Wait, it's the same, shen
- 1:26:31Speaker 4: Never mind this.
- 1:26:46Speaker 8: John Bowayne, born of the Sports Jos Show with Wayne
- 1:26:50Speaker 8: Gandy is coming up next.
- 1:26:54Speaker 20: Choosing to buy a gun was not a decision I
- 1:26:56Speaker 20: took lightly, but with everything going on, I really wanted
- 1:26:59Speaker 20: to feel like I could protect myself. I hadn't thought
- 1:27:02Speaker 20: about the danger of an unlocked gun in my own
- 1:27:04Speaker 20: home too.
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: Me aware your napkins, not that drawer unless anyone needs
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: a gun.
- 1:27:14Speaker 20: Now, I always lock my gun to keep everyone safe.
- 1:27:17Speaker 20: Visit infamilyfire dot org to learn how to store your
- 1:27:20Speaker 20: guns more securely.
- 1:27:21Speaker 16: Brought to you by Brady and the ad Council.
- 1:27:23Speaker 27: I'm a pretty great multitasker. I can wash dishes and
- 1:27:27Speaker 27: do laundry. I can roller skate while walking my dogs.
- 1:27:31Speaker 27: I can even order lunch while doing my homework. But
- 1:27:34Speaker 27: I can't use my phone while driving. A distracted driver
- 1:27:37Speaker 27: is one of the leading causes of death in the
- 1:27:39Speaker 27: United States, So when it comes to driving, please don't
- 1:27:42Speaker 27: be a multitasker.
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: Don't drive distracted.
- 1:27:45Speaker 21: A message brought to you by the National Highway Traffic
- 1:27:47Speaker 21: Safety Administration Project yellow Light and the AD Council.
- 1:27:53Speaker 16: All right, son, time to put out this campfire.
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: God, we learned about this in school.
- 1:27:57Speaker 16: Oh did you now? Okay? What's first?
- 1:28:00Speaker 28: Smokey Bear said, to.
- 1:28:01Speaker 4: First drown it with the bucket of water, then stirred
- 1:28:04Speaker 4: with a shovel.
- 1:28:05Speaker 16: Wow, you sound just like him, Yang said.
- 1:28:08Speaker 4: If it's still warm, then do it again.
- 1:28:11Speaker 16: Where can I learn all this?
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: It's all on Smokey bear dot com with other wildfire
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: prevention tips, because only you can prevent wildfires.
- 1:28:19Speaker 16: Brought to you by the USDA for a service your
- 1:28:21Speaker 16: state forester and he had counsel.
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy.
- 1:28:29Speaker 11: Player's lounge. You have been given full access to the
- 1:28:35Speaker 11: player's lounge on the sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: Sleep Jack. You've never been before.
- 1:28:51Speaker 21: I'll let your mind. You know us all for a
- 1:28:54Speaker 21: player to.
- 1:28:54Speaker 4: Admit that sometime or I must smit that sometimes.
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:28:59Speaker 4: I think a year there's something basket can.
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: Walk back to the sport Shock Show. I'm the sport
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: shock wing candy.
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: One of the basketball most dominant players, Lebron James after
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: twenty three years in the NBA. People who have been
- 1:29:18Speaker 3: talking about his comments, it's funny how they only underline
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: one city.
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: And that's how we do the media.
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: We will jump over some words, minimize things that don't
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: fit the narrative. We want to drive home something we
- 1:29:36Speaker 3: start at. They won't show you the first thirty seconds.
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: They just jump right to the park and sell that
- 1:29:43Speaker 3: and leave it up to you to go fit. See
- 1:29:45Speaker 3: the full clip. When we talk about this, Lebron James
- 1:29:48Speaker 3: had these comments not just about Memphis. He also said Milwaukee.
- 1:29:54Speaker 3: But everybody stopped that the Memphis part because that made
- 1:29:58Speaker 3: more exciting media frenzy surrounding. I talked about this earlier
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: conversations about when, especially when you meet people or find
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: out where they live. Had a debate yesterday about the
- 1:30:11Speaker 3: same thing. Guy hadn't really been to Nashville. Lebron james
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: comments was centered around the Memphis Grizzlies. He said when
- 1:30:19Speaker 3: he went to Milwaukee, he is boring. He just stays
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: in the hotel. Memphis kind of a similar thing. Some
- 1:30:26Speaker 3: people considered this a shot at Memphis because it was
- 1:30:30Speaker 3: sixty two black, So, oh, you don't like your black people.
- 1:30:35Speaker 3: Who knows that if Lebron James even knew that percentage?
- 1:30:43Speaker 3: Who even knows that. I hear people criticize Memphis all
- 1:30:48Speaker 3: the time about not going there, how fearful they are
- 1:30:55Speaker 3: being there. If you don't really know somebody there, don't
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: go have that all the time. But then Lebron says
- 1:31:07Speaker 3: it and guys have conversations. Just like we talked about
- 1:31:10Speaker 3: the Stillers. The NFL put out a whole report to
- 1:31:13Speaker 3: condemn Pittsburgh, the Stillers, the locker room, the treatment the city.
- 1:31:21Speaker 3: But when they did it, I guess it's okay. Lebron
- 1:31:25Speaker 3: says that he really wouldn't want to play in Milwaukee.
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: In Memphis, young man about two three years ago said
- 1:31:32Speaker 3: told her you didn't take Jazz. Not to even draft him.
- 1:31:34Speaker 4: Don't talk to me.
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: Guy's name he was about to get drafted. That was
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: last year away. Well you know it was okay, that
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: was last year they drafted him anyway anyway, But he
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: was like, nah, I'm don't look at me, look at me, like, no, Ace,
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: we got the second pick.
- 1:31:57Speaker 4: They keep talking to me. We got the second pick
- 1:32:00Speaker 4: this dude, go ahead, sir, and you.
- 1:32:05Speaker 6: Know, and it was funny that how it did become
- 1:32:08Speaker 6: when Lebron said what he had said, and like you said,
- 1:32:11Speaker 6: say two teams, but they had been Katie, Draymond and
- 1:32:15Speaker 6: Danny Green.
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: All the other players have said something about it in
- 1:32:18Speaker 2: the past.
- 1:32:19Speaker 4: And then you heard the report.
- 1:32:20Speaker 6: I heard Memphis Lebron is talking about one of the
- 1:32:23Speaker 6: blackest cities in America.
- 1:32:25Speaker 2: Like I said, maybe he didn't know that percentage.
- 1:32:27Speaker 6: And then what got me was when they said and
- 1:32:29Speaker 6: then you used MLK day to launch your shoe for Memphis,
- 1:32:34Speaker 6: and you just perpetrating. And I was like, wait, man,
- 1:32:37Speaker 6: hold on, what does that got to do with what
- 1:32:39Speaker 6: he's saying about Memphis and him launching his shoe on
- 1:32:43Speaker 6: MLK Is that new shoe that he released this year?
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: And why is it that people who constantly played the
- 1:32:52Speaker 2: the race card like it's a trump card, like it
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: is the big joker, no pun in, the people who
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: are always pulling out that card. What is it about
- 1:33:02Speaker 2: that group of people that they are willing to be
- 1:33:04Speaker 2: so disingenuous. Believe you think about Memphis. If there were
- 1:33:10Speaker 2: no sport in Memphis to watch, he played professionally. The
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: people who live in Memphis. I know people in Memphis
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: who are the type of people that you check in
- 1:33:21Speaker 2: with when you go to Memphis.
- 1:33:22Speaker 4: Tell me, if you're not with me.
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: Don't go to Memphis.
- 1:33:26Speaker 24: I live here, I run Memphis, and I'm outside of
- 1:33:31Speaker 24: Memphis right now.
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: Why the people acting like that doesn't really exist? How
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: come Lebron can't speak on the reality of Memphis.
- 1:33:42Speaker 3: He offered for Memphis to move to Nashville. Nashville is
- 1:33:47Speaker 3: one of the growing cities over the last ten years.
- 1:33:52Speaker 3: Nashville has the Predators, Yes, they have the Titans. Yes,
- 1:33:56Speaker 3: the Vandy is there. They're known as a college town.
- 1:34:00Speaker 3: Is like nine colleges, Vandy, Vanderbilt, Tennessee State, Fisk, Belmont.
- 1:34:09Speaker 4: There's another my Hairy, My Hairy there.
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: They got the Nashville Lookout Baseball.
- 1:34:17Speaker 3: It's the home of country music, the home the Hug
- 1:34:22Speaker 3: Grand What Atlanta might be the hip hop, Nashville is
- 1:34:26Speaker 3: country music. If you can't make it in Nashville as
- 1:34:31Speaker 3: a country artist.
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: You need to do just need to go. I'm saying
- 1:34:36Speaker 2: that this ain't this ain't the place for you. Some does,
- 1:34:42Speaker 2: I mean you in the wrong business. If they don't
- 1:34:45Speaker 2: find you in Nashville yesterday. They have five or six
- 1:34:49Speaker 2: Fortune five hundred companies. They're growing, the medium income is higher, and.
- 1:35:00Speaker 4: Nobody walk in the street with switches.
- 1:35:02Speaker 3: And the thing that happens with a lot of places
- 1:35:05Speaker 3: is when you only have the ability to have one
- 1:35:09Speaker 3: sports team, it's you know, like the Jacksonville's like the Spurs.
- 1:35:19Speaker 3: If you ain't winning, it almost don't exist, or if
- 1:35:24Speaker 3: you don't have that star. San Antonio has been blessed.
- 1:35:31Speaker 3: But until David Robinson, the Admiral got there, they were
- 1:35:38Speaker 3: excellent tax and then they have just been fortunate they
- 1:35:43Speaker 3: had David Robinson and then he stayed around long enough
- 1:35:46Speaker 3: for Tim Duncan to get there, and then he's Tony
- 1:35:49Speaker 3: Parker and those guys Manu they did all that winning
- 1:35:53Speaker 3: these last couple of years, the kind of and now
- 1:35:55Speaker 3: they got stepped on Castle and Wemby. You know, that's
- 1:36:00Speaker 3: what's kept them afloat Jacksonville. Up until last year. People
- 1:36:04Speaker 3: was like coming out sending them to Europe. It was
- 1:36:07Speaker 3: like NFL, they send them to London, like man, y'all
- 1:36:10Speaker 3: need to move. They send them to London to play
- 1:36:12Speaker 3: at least game every year in different cities, the Magic,
- 1:36:17Speaker 3: the Magic only or Magic. When they're winning in Orlando,
- 1:36:21Speaker 3: they're they're kind of their only what city, the only
- 1:36:25Speaker 3: team there. They don't have a lot. Most cities have
- 1:36:29Speaker 3: at least two to three. If they can get one,
- 1:36:33Speaker 3: they usually end up with three of the major sports.
- 1:36:36Speaker 2: When we think about San Antonio, I think I was
- 1:36:41Speaker 2: marveling at how fortunate they were to get Wimby and
- 1:36:45Speaker 2: they were sort of at the forefront of that European
- 1:36:48Speaker 2: player in the NBA movement with Ginobili, with Tony Parker,
- 1:36:54Speaker 2: people away before that was a thing thing. They had
- 1:36:58Speaker 2: several European players in their lineup, and we kind of
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: forget about that they were. They spearheaded a lot of them.
- 1:37:05Speaker 3: Yes, rig Popovich there a long time, but as the
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: bad producers even alluding to this is not a new song.
- 1:37:13Speaker 3: Different players at different times have talked about and there's
- 1:37:16Speaker 3: been rumor that Memphis was a team when they kept
- 1:37:21Speaker 3: talking about the Vegas and the Seattle was.
- 1:37:24Speaker 2: A team that they would be willing to move without
- 1:37:28Speaker 2: any heart. Moved to the they moved to the Eastern Conference.
- 1:37:32Speaker 2: I was just remember Memphis was the team out of Canada.
- 1:37:37Speaker 2: They were in Vancouver, Vancouver. That's how they got to Memphis,
- 1:37:40Speaker 2: when they moved them from Vancouver. So I don't know
- 1:37:45Speaker 2: what made this to be like are out of character.
- 1:37:52Speaker 2: It's rage bait and just like that hotel that they're
- 1:37:55Speaker 2: talking about.
- 1:37:57Speaker 6: I was just there in Memphis, and remember I remember
- 1:38:00Speaker 6: on Bill Street you can just walk them down now
- 1:38:02Speaker 6: because of so much going on, they charge you. So
- 1:38:06Speaker 6: if you just can't walk up and down Bill Street
- 1:38:08Speaker 6: to deterar the criminal.
- 1:38:10Speaker 2: Activity, and a lot of the charging you to get
- 1:38:12Speaker 2: on Bill Street is that once you pay, then you
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: have to go through the mental to technic yes, and
- 1:38:17Speaker 2: that is to keep the weapons off of Bill Street.
- 1:38:21Speaker 3: Shannon Sharp blains ghetto mentality for John Morant's career decline.
- 1:38:25Speaker 3: He needs leadership and guidance. Greg explained before we go
- 1:38:30Speaker 3: to break the Ghatteau mentality that Shannon is building this
- 1:38:34Speaker 3: castle on.
- 1:38:37Speaker 5: That might not be the right phrase, but the the
- 1:38:44Speaker 5: actions of John Morant are of someone who really didn't
- 1:38:52Speaker 5: grow up that way, you know, like he came from
- 1:38:56Speaker 5: a two parent household.
- 1:38:59Speaker 2: He really it's Clarence from them.
- 1:39:01Speaker 4: Clarence got two.
- 1:39:02Speaker 5: Past what you're saying. He's really he's trying to like
- 1:39:10Speaker 5: compensate for but he in Memphis though he had to
- 1:39:13Speaker 5: because and so you're saying the tea in ghetto is
- 1:39:17Speaker 5: his daddy.
- 1:39:19Speaker 2: Oh, it would be best sports because.
- 1:39:37Speaker 8: Jo't goo Away Boor of the Sports Josh Hill with

- 1:41:49Speaker 3: Welcome back to this wort Shock show. I'm in the
- 1:41:50Speaker 3: Sports Shock Wayne Candy, Big Kenny. We got any comments online?
- 1:41:54Speaker 2: We need to address Yes, sports Jock, We've been uh
- 1:41:58Speaker 2: since the beginning of the hour. Our last hour, we
- 1:42:01Speaker 2: had our loyal online listeners chiming in with us. I'm
- 1:42:05Speaker 2: going to have to I'm not gonna be able to
- 1:42:07Speaker 2: read them all today because we have such a volume
- 1:42:11Speaker 2: of comments. But we did have an interesting comment from
- 1:42:15Speaker 2: Uncle Charlie earlier today when you were talking about you
- 1:42:20Speaker 2: said that there's satisfaction and what was the other one
- 1:42:25Speaker 2: that you mentioned with the NCAA tournament. He was asking,
- 1:42:30Speaker 2: does that mean that Michigan is satisfied with having beat Arizona?
- 1:42:35Speaker 2: Do you think that they have a feeling of satisfaction.
- 1:42:39Speaker 2: We also had Elder Casey said that he's from the
- 1:42:43Speaker 2: four oh four area and he's here for four oh
- 1:42:46Speaker 2: four a day. He's here for all of that. He
- 1:42:49Speaker 2: believes that it's a good thing for Atlanta and the
- 1:42:53Speaker 2: Atlanta culture.
- 1:42:56Speaker 3: Elder Casey, I was not if you thought I was
- 1:43:00Speaker 3: saying is not a good thing. I was not what
- 1:43:03Speaker 3: you're saying.
- 1:43:04Speaker 2: Most of them people don't know, they don't figure out
- 1:43:06Speaker 2: how that's what we were saying.
- 1:43:08Speaker 3: And I was I like freaknik. I used to go
- 1:43:10Speaker 3: to the but I understand how the city freakink but
- 1:43:14Speaker 3: started becoming too much of an issue in a lot
- 1:43:18Speaker 3: of ways. So hopefully four four does not create that
- 1:43:21Speaker 3: kind of traffic and Rob you know, you just stay
- 1:43:24Speaker 3: too the celebration of it, but go ahead on.
- 1:43:27Speaker 2: Uh we have Walter Eccho says that he believes that
- 1:43:30Speaker 2: his dad, Job Moran's dad, is a major role in
- 1:43:35Speaker 2: his ignorant behavior. Now those were his words, ignorant behavior.
- 1:43:42Speaker 2: But I'm saying that, I'm asking you what would you
- 1:43:45Speaker 2: call what would you call it, what you call pulling
- 1:43:48Speaker 2: guns on people?
- 1:43:49Speaker 4: What you call all of those things? If not ignorance.
- 1:43:53Speaker 6: I want to say that once again. I think that,
- 1:43:58Speaker 6: and I'm gonna go back to what we have noticed
- 1:44:01Speaker 6: and you watch. I think John Moran is like a
- 1:44:05Speaker 6: Trey Young He does not want to be that leader
- 1:44:09Speaker 6: that a lot of these young guys, they do not
- 1:44:12Speaker 6: want to be that person, that team person. When John
- 1:44:15Speaker 6: Moran he played AAU basketball was ion. All the light
- 1:44:19Speaker 6: went to Zion.
- 1:44:20Speaker 2: John Moran is the modern day Allen Iverson. You think
- 1:44:23Speaker 2: that's what it is. He's the modern day A.
- 1:44:27Speaker 6: But we just said that he's Clarence and A. I
- 1:44:29Speaker 6: just was grew up different than than He's a guy
- 1:44:32Speaker 6: with a lot of opportunity.
- 1:44:34Speaker 5: Like that, the kind of the fan base he has
- 1:44:36Speaker 5: and the kind of excitement he brings and the the
- 1:44:41Speaker 5: style of play. That's where I see that the Allen
- 1:44:45Speaker 5: Iverson comparison. Outside of that, yeah, they're there's they're two,
- 1:44:50Speaker 5: They're two totally different. But John Moran's off the court behavior,
- 1:44:58Speaker 5: what is what was he doing?
- 1:44:59Speaker 2: This all fall on?
- 1:45:00Speaker 3: How are they that? For far they're the same because
- 1:45:04Speaker 3: I'm from it and you're not. If I'm pretending that
- 1:45:08Speaker 3: I am, and I'm checking all the boxes that I'm
- 1:45:14Speaker 3: selling you that because you have discovered that I have
- 1:45:17Speaker 3: two pans. When we talked about the movie eight Mile,
- 1:45:20Speaker 3: right until Eminem told the crowd who Clarence was, the
- 1:45:26Speaker 3: crowd thought that Clarence was the head of a street.
- 1:45:30Speaker 4: Game and he was the man that would lay you down,
- 1:45:34Speaker 4: free world.
- 1:45:36Speaker 3: So until we say that about John Mornt portrays and
- 1:45:41Speaker 3: lives and feeds into that's part. I think what Shannon
- 1:45:44Speaker 3: is saying was ghetto mentality. It was the same way
- 1:45:47Speaker 3: with Alan Iverson. You have all the opportunities of everything
- 1:45:51Speaker 3: that you ever wanted, and you're tricking it off blowing
- 1:45:55Speaker 3: it to try to feed into an image has nothing
- 1:46:03Speaker 3: to do with your play. You're trying to feed and
- 1:46:04Speaker 3: what he said, he didn't guidance in leadership. We said
- 1:46:07Speaker 3: the same thing about Ai this entire career.
- 1:46:15Speaker 2: I think he.
- 1:46:19Speaker 5: Trying to be a different person, like trying to like
- 1:46:22Speaker 5: portraying himself as something that like it didn't.
- 1:46:27Speaker 2: We knew AI was with the whatever it is. When
- 1:46:31Speaker 2: you would go and spend two three, four, five, six,
- 1:46:34Speaker 2: seven hundred thousand dollars and fines because you don't wear
- 1:46:38Speaker 2: a suit, the team has a rule and you're willing
- 1:46:43Speaker 2: to pay millions of dollars to create and continue image,
- 1:46:49Speaker 2: then you're John mo Rent riding around in a seven
- 1:46:52Speaker 2: hundred thousand dollars rolls roys with.
- 1:46:55Speaker 3: Some kind of red pen gun to portray that I
- 1:47:02Speaker 3: am this, I'm It's the same mentality. Whether you're pretending
- 1:47:11Speaker 3: or you're from it, you're still doing it.
- 1:47:14Speaker 2: Ai in his commercials today still wants you to see
- 1:47:18Speaker 2: He doesn't ever want to see an evolution. He went
- 1:47:21Speaker 2: to his Hall of Fame speech and some tims and
- 1:47:23Speaker 2: like he was going to to a movie, doesn't wear
- 1:47:27Speaker 2: a suit. But there was a lot of people that
- 1:47:29Speaker 2: was differ, but he got drafted and he never wore
- 1:47:31Speaker 2: one again because that's list. But there was a lot
- 1:47:35Speaker 2: of people that was disappointed the way.
- 1:47:37Speaker 5: He sees wearing a suit. I think that's that. I
- 1:47:41Speaker 5: don't see that as the same as what the skill.
- 1:47:44Speaker 2: The skit is keeping it to keeping it real go wrong?
- 1:47:47Speaker 4: What was the skill when keeping it real goes wrong?
- 1:47:51Speaker 2: On Chapelle Show Really Quick, he didn't say that, and
- 1:47:56Speaker 2: he doesn't subscribe to He don't subscribe to it four
- 1:47:59Speaker 2: or four day. He was just at the top of
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: the hour he said I'm here for it, and I
- 1:48:03Speaker 2: thought that he was saying he was here for four
- 1:48:05Speaker 2: or four day, but he did say he has a
- 1:48:08Speaker 2: four or four area code.
- 1:48:09Speaker 4: Yeah, he's saying his aide, yeah, his age.
- 1:48:13Speaker 14: So uh.
- 1:48:14Speaker 2: And then Chef said, I'm sure I must have missed
- 1:48:17Speaker 2: our announcement of our victory and shout it out, go Blue.
- 1:48:22Speaker 2: So him and Uncle Charlie, they've been hollering wanting you
- 1:48:24Speaker 2: to talk about Michigan all.
- 1:48:27Speaker 4: This, So I did give him shouted out.
- 1:48:31Speaker 3: About Glenn Robinson and Robinson Yeah you went way back, Yeah,
- 1:48:35Speaker 3: I went back to the eighties on them.
- 1:48:37Speaker 2: You named some people they didn't know it was on
- 1:48:39Speaker 2: the team, but they on the bad producer energy today.
- 1:48:41Speaker 4: They want you to talk more than you.
- 1:48:45Speaker 2: Well tonight then we were talking more about him. See
- 1:48:48Speaker 2: see that's being that's you discriminated. You to talk about
- 1:48:53Speaker 2: them now. Yeah, you got all that pre games ahead
- 1:48:56Speaker 2: of it, you know how the pre game like you do,
- 1:48:58Speaker 2: like he do North Carolina.
- 1:49:00Speaker 4: Hey, we'll be.
- 1:49:00Speaker 2: Back more to Sports Shock Show.
- 1:49:04Speaker 11: Yeah, I am my mine, I am my mine.
- 1:49:15Speaker 2: Don't go away.
- 1:49:17Speaker 8: More of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dantius coming
- 1:49:20Speaker 8: up next.
- 1:49:23Speaker 17: Nobody had to tell your grandparents not to drive all
- 1:49:26Speaker 17: using their typewriters. Why should it be any different for
- 1:49:30Speaker 17: us kids and our cell phones. Distracted driving was the
- 1:49:33Speaker 17: cause of more than three thousand deaths in twenty twenty two.
- 1:49:37Speaker 4: Come on, we're smarter than this.
- 1:49:39Speaker 17: Let's put down the phones and focus on the roads.
- 1:49:42Speaker 18: Drive safe, everybody, don't drive distracted. A message brought to

- 1:50:53Speaker 15: ad on the sports jock dot com.
- 1:50:57Speaker 2: And now back to the Sports John.
- 1:51:04Speaker 11: It's time for the school board, when we put a
- 1:51:07Speaker 11: spin on life and sports and how they intermingle on
- 1:51:12Speaker 11: The Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy Posus.
- 1:51:28Speaker 3: And welcome back to this one shock shall the NCAA,
- 1:51:30Speaker 3: the executive order they aim to limit athletes to five
- 1:51:35Speaker 3: years and one transfer seems like a doable thing to me.
- 1:51:42Speaker 3: This kind of idea where people are either they're eighteen nineteen,
- 1:51:48Speaker 3: eighteen year olds are playing with twenty nine year olds
- 1:51:50Speaker 3: because you figured some kind of loophole how to make
- 1:51:53Speaker 3: it eight years each and every time you get hurt.
- 1:51:58Speaker 3: You want that to be classified as a red shirt year.
- 1:52:01Speaker 3: And you know, we've seen twenty six year old quarterbacks
- 1:52:07Speaker 3: throwing fade routes against seventeen year olds fresh out of
- 1:52:10Speaker 3: high school.
- 1:52:11Speaker 2: Like it just has this.
- 1:52:12Speaker 5: I went to play baseball first and in the leagues,
- 1:52:17Speaker 5: and so now like that that school.
- 1:52:20Speaker 2: Still held that scholarship.
- 1:52:23Speaker 3: Either that or as I have been pounding the table
- 1:52:26Speaker 3: for three four years since you started, just called it
- 1:52:28Speaker 3: professional sports. Because every even Kitty was saying, every word
- 1:52:34Speaker 3: that you keep adding sounds like the kid from ucl
- 1:52:38Speaker 3: Lake when.
- 1:52:39Speaker 2: You know a deal to go back Trent Perry, Yeah,
- 1:52:43Speaker 2: he said he signed a deal to go back to UCM.
- 1:52:46Speaker 2: What do you mean.
- 1:52:49Speaker 3: Signed the deal to go back? Wasn't that your intent
- 1:52:52Speaker 3: letter or something like that? No, that runs out every
- 1:52:55Speaker 3: ten months. That's just Oh, so the.
- 1:52:57Speaker 5: Scholarship don't mean that you're good at that school. Is
- 1:53:00Speaker 5: really a one year scholarship you got to sign to
- 1:53:05Speaker 5: come back, Like, Okay, we're going to renew the scholarship
- 1:53:08Speaker 5: for next We're gonna have to go to quarterbacks. I
- 1:53:14Speaker 5: think I want to see the books?
- 1:53:17Speaker 2: Is it?
- 1:53:18Speaker 5: I feel it's a little contradictory because if we have this, okay,
- 1:53:22Speaker 5: five years, you can transfer once. But now UH coaches
- 1:53:28Speaker 5: voted on that, especially in football, you can play nine
- 1:53:32Speaker 5: games and it can still be a red shirt.
- 1:53:36Speaker 4: The way I played nine games and red shirt.
- 1:53:39Speaker 2: Twice, you don't get that year.
- 1:53:42Speaker 4: And that's what I'm saying.
- 1:53:43Speaker 2: Nothing saying that if that's the case, But nothing says
- 1:53:45Speaker 2: we're trying to dodge professional sports like the Well, the
- 1:53:49Speaker 2: whole thing is that the power structure wants it to
- 1:53:52Speaker 2: be college sports, and well, to do that, you have
- 1:53:56Speaker 2: to go back to some of the college mindset. And
- 1:53:59Speaker 2: when I went to school, you had four plus one.
- 1:54:03Speaker 2: That meant that you had a year that if you
- 1:54:05Speaker 2: got injured or coach just dean you wasn't gonna play,
- 1:54:10Speaker 2: you could be red shirted. I was red shirted when
- 1:54:14Speaker 2: I was a freshman and then I played four years
- 1:54:18Speaker 2: and got out of there. That was it. Now.
- 1:54:21Speaker 3: The only other case is if somewhere in the next
- 1:54:24Speaker 3: four years after that red shirt I had gotten like
- 1:54:27Speaker 3: cancer or leukemia or something that would have that would
- 1:54:31Speaker 3: have that's what they call a medical Not because I
- 1:54:34Speaker 3: broke my finger and couldn't play.
- 1:54:36Speaker 2: It had to be on the line illness that was
- 1:54:41Speaker 2: out of mind. That had nothing to do.
- 1:54:44Speaker 3: In Pittsburgh the running back. Yes, it had to do
- 1:54:47Speaker 3: with something like that that they would give you a
- 1:54:50Speaker 3: medical red shirt. But you couldn't just get a medical
- 1:54:52Speaker 3: red shirt based on you got injured. You just had
- 1:54:56Speaker 3: to chalk that year up that you couldn't play. So
- 1:55:00Speaker 3: five years one transfer. You know, I feel like when
- 1:55:04Speaker 3: you sign anyway, you shouldn't be ab a transfer for
- 1:55:07Speaker 3: two years. It needs to be more thought into where
- 1:55:11Speaker 3: you want to go now and where you where you
- 1:55:15Speaker 3: where do you really want to go? And if you
- 1:55:17Speaker 3: had to stay there, well that's how you need to be.
- 1:55:20Speaker 3: Now after two years you find out X, Y and
- 1:55:23Speaker 3: Z happened.
- 1:55:24Speaker 2: Okay, no, no, but now but now you're limiting my
- 1:55:28Speaker 2: ability to uh support myself in my chosen new York,
- 1:55:33Speaker 2: violating my go to before you signed the first No,
- 1:55:38Speaker 2: you're violating my civil rights. No, I read to you
- 1:55:42Speaker 2: what I read all these things when you signed it. Oh,
- 1:55:45Speaker 2: you showed me the thing and you said the check,
- 1:55:48Speaker 2: and then we signed.
- 1:55:49Speaker 3: Jaden Ivy, who was released by the Chicago Bulls last
- 1:55:54Speaker 3: week for his anti l g B t Q rants,
- 1:55:59Speaker 3: was also now film preaching, you said, Greg on the
- 1:56:03Speaker 3: in Chicago.
- 1:56:04Speaker 5: He was film preaching on uh on the street with
- 1:56:09Speaker 5: some other.
- 1:56:12Speaker 2: Like with some people.
- 1:56:14Speaker 5: If you ever see the guy in the corners be
- 1:56:15Speaker 5: with the big signs, he's got the megaphone. So he
- 1:56:19Speaker 5: was filmed doing that. And it was actually at in
- 1:56:24Speaker 5: uh At in Auburn, at Toomor's corner.
- 1:56:27Speaker 3: Okay, I see that right now, Tharday in Auburn, twenty
- 1:56:30Speaker 3: four year old publicly preaching Tumas corner, Matthew five and eight.
- 1:56:35Speaker 3: Blessed are the pure in heart where they shall see God,
- 1:56:39Speaker 3: referencing to the sermon on Mount I guess h Mount Olive.
- 1:56:47Speaker 2: Oh was it was on that Mount Moriah? Okay, I'm
- 1:56:53Speaker 2: just wondering, was it? No, no, no, no no, I
- 1:56:55Speaker 2: was just saying, Mariah Shaka Cohn whoever. So so what
- 1:57:05Speaker 2: they're saying is he he was released for comments that
- 1:57:14Speaker 2: he made that were offensive.
- 1:57:15Speaker 3: Well, he was had an issue with the whole NBA
- 1:57:18Speaker 3: promotion of the Pride month, right right, and he expressed
- 1:57:21Speaker 3: that and he expressed that.
- 1:57:23Speaker 4: They waved it.
- 1:57:23Speaker 2: So now are we saying that speech behavior can get
- 1:57:29Speaker 2: you waved from teams?
- 1:57:30Speaker 3: Well, they didn't say it specifically as that was it,
- 1:57:34Speaker 3: but it followed they said conduct detrimentals.
- 1:57:39Speaker 2: But he sold twenty thousand jerseysystem Well, and I just
- 1:57:42Speaker 2: think it's interesting that a lot of people will make
- 1:57:47Speaker 2: a lot of people will say that, you know, con
- 1:57:50Speaker 2: detrimental got him waved and it's on the heels of
- 1:57:54Speaker 2: him having made comments. But we just talked about a
- 1:57:56Speaker 2: John Morant whose conduct actually would have physically affected other
- 1:58:02Speaker 2: people in the moment. And for some reason the NBA,
- 1:58:05Speaker 2: or maybe it's a team by team organization, it's been
- 1:58:09Speaker 2: a couple of player decisions.
- 1:58:10Speaker 6: Yeah, and it's been a couple of other players, the
- 1:58:12Speaker 6: NFL players that came behind him and said the same thing.
