- 0:00Speaker 1: They thought when they walked away, you would run after them.
- 0:04Speaker 1: They thought their silence would make you desperate. They thought
- 0:07Speaker 1: their absence would make you forget your worth. They thought
- 0:10Speaker 1: if they pulled away long enough, you would come begging
- 0:13Speaker 1: for their attention, their approval, their presence. But they miscalculated
- 0:18Speaker 1: because something changed inside you. You finally realized that not
- 0:21Speaker 1: every person you lose is a loss. Sometimes losing access
- 0:25Speaker 1: to you is the consequence of failing to value you.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Sometimes the door that closes behind someone is the very
- 0:30Speaker 1: door God is using to protect your peace. You used
- 0:33Speaker 1: to chase explanations. You used to chase closure. You used
- 0:37Speaker 1: to chase people who had already decided to walk away.
- 0:40Speaker 1: You kept asking, what did I do wrong? Why did
- 0:42Speaker 1: they change? Why don't they care anymore? But now you
- 0:46Speaker 1: are learning a different question. Why am I chasing what
- 0:49Speaker 1: God is allowing to leave? There comes a moment when
- 0:52Speaker 1: you stop running behind people and start walking toward your purpose.
- 0:56Speaker 1: And when you make that decision, everything changes. You stop
- 0:59Speaker 1: begging people to understand your heart. You stop proving your
- 1:03Speaker 1: value to people who have already made up their minds
- 1:06Speaker 1: about you. You stop forcing conversations that God has already ended.
- 1:10Speaker 1: You become quiet, not because you are weak, but because
- 1:13Speaker 1: you finally understand that your worth does not need an audience.
- 1:17Speaker 1: They thought you would chase them. They didn't know you
- 1:20Speaker 1: were becoming someone who could walk away with tears in
- 1:22Speaker 1: your eyes and still keep walking. They didn't know you
- 1:26Speaker 1: were learning that peace is more valuable than attention. They
- 1:30Speaker 1: didn't know that while they were expecting you to run
- 1:32Speaker 1: after them, you were learning how to stand still and
- 1:35Speaker 1: trust God. And sometimes the greatest evidence of growth is
- 1:38Speaker 1: not what you say. It is what you no longer chase.
- 1:41Speaker 1: There is a moment in life when you have to
- 1:43Speaker 1: stop running behind somebody who has already decided to walk away.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Not because you don't care. Not because you suddenly became heartless.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Not because the relationship meant nothing to you. But because
- 1:55Speaker 1: you finally understood that love does not require you to
- 1:57Speaker 1: abandon yourself. You have to understand this. There is a
- 2:01Speaker 1: difference between pursuing someone with genuine love and chasing someone
- 2:04Speaker 1: who has already made a decision to distance themselves from you.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Pursuit has dignity. Chasing destroys it. When you pursue something healthy,
- 2:13Speaker 1: there is movement from both sides. There is communication. There
- 2:16Speaker 1: is effort. There is reciprocity. There is a willingness to
- 2:19Speaker 1: meet somewhere in the middle. But when you are the
- 2:22Speaker 1: only one calling, the only one explaining, the only one apologizing,
- 2:26Speaker 1: the only one trying to repair everything, the only one asking,
- 2:30Speaker 1: are we okay? You have to stop and ask yourself
- 2:33Speaker 1: what you are actually fighting for. Because sometimes you are
- 2:36Speaker 1: not fighting for the relationship anymore. You are fighting against reality.
- 2:41Speaker 1: And reality may be telling you that this person has
- 2:44Speaker 1: already chosen distance. You kept thinking that if you explained
- 2:47Speaker 1: yourself one more time, they would understand. You thought if
- 2:51Speaker 1: you gave them another chance, they would finally appreciate you.
- 2:54Speaker 1: You thought if you showed them just how much you cared,
- 2:57Speaker 1: they would realize they were making a mistake. But there
- 3:00Speaker 1: are some people who can see your value and still
- 3:03Speaker 1: choose not to honor it. And that is something you
- 3:06Speaker 1: have to accept. You cannot force somebody to appreciate what
- 3:09Speaker 1: they have. You cannot force somebody to communicate. You cannot
- 3:13Speaker 1: force somebody to remain loyal. You cannot force somebody to
- 3:16Speaker 1: choose you. And the harder you try to control their decision,
- 3:20Speaker 1: the more you lose control of yourself. That's why you
- 3:23Speaker 1: have to learn when to stop. Not every door needs
- 3:25Speaker 1: another knock. Not every silence needs another message. Not every
- 3:29Speaker 1: distance needs to be crossed. Not every person who leaves
- 3:32Speaker 1: needs to be followed. Sometimes you have to let people
- 3:35Speaker 1: go where they have decided to go. Because if somebody
- 3:39Speaker 1: has to be chased into your life, how long will
- 3:41Speaker 1: you have to chase them to keep them there? Think
- 3:44Speaker 1: about that. If you have to constantly remind somebody that
- 3:47Speaker 1: you exist, constantly prove that you care, constantly convince them
- 3:51Speaker 1: that you deserve respect, then what kind of peace are
- 3:53Speaker 1: you actually receiving from that connection? You should not have
- 3:57Speaker 1: to beg somebody to recognize that you matter. You should
- 4:00Speaker 1: not have to compete for basic respect. You should not
- 4:03Speaker 1: have to become smaller just so somebody feels comfortable keeping
- 4:07Speaker 1: you around. And you certainly should not have to lose
- 4:10Speaker 1: your dignity just because you are afraid of losing someone else.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Fear will make you chase what peace would tell you
- 4:16Speaker 1: to release. Fear will make you send another message. Fear
- 4:20Speaker 1: will make you apologize for things you didn't do. Fear
- 4:24Speaker 1: will make you accept treatment you never thought you would tolerate.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Fear will whisper, what if they leave? But maturity asks
- 4:30Speaker 1: a different question. What if letting them leave is exactly
- 4:34Speaker 1: what I need? What if the distance is creating room?
- 4:37Speaker 1: What if the ending is teaching you something? What if
- 4:40Speaker 1: the person walking away is making space for you to
- 4:42Speaker 1: discover who you are without their approval? You have spent
- 4:46Speaker 1: too much time measuring your worth by somebody else's willingness
- 4:48Speaker 1: to stay. Your worth existed before they arrived. Your worth
- 4:53Speaker 1: remains after they leave. Their decision does not define your value.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Their silence does not erase your importance. Their rejection does
- 5:01Speaker 1: not make you less deserving of respect. And their absence
- 5:03Speaker 1: does not mean your life has become empty. Sometimes you
- 5:07Speaker 1: have to remember who you were before you started begging
- 5:10Speaker 1: somebody else to stay. Before their opinion mattered so much.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Before their attention became your emotional oxygen. Before their messages
- 5:18Speaker 1: determined whether you had a good day or a bad day.
- 5:20Speaker 1: There was a version of you who had dreams. There
- 5:23Speaker 1: was a version of you who had goals. There was
- 5:26Speaker 1: a version of you who laughed without checking whether somebody
- 5:29Speaker 1: else was watching. There was a version of you who
- 5:31Speaker 1: could sleep peacefully without wondering why somebody hadn't replied. Find
- 5:35Speaker 1: that person again. Not so you can become cold. Become grounded.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Not so you can stop loving. Learn to love without
- 5:42Speaker 1: losing yourself. Not so you can punish them. Learn to
- 5:45Speaker 1: release without revenge. There is power in being able to say,
- 5:48Speaker 1: I care about you, but I will not chase you.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I wish you well, but I will not beg you.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I respect your decision, but I also respect myself. That
- 5:58Speaker 1: is maturity. That is emotional strength. That is knowing that
- 6:01Speaker 1: your heart can hurt without your dignity having to disappear.
- 6:05Speaker 1: And don't confuse letting go with giving up. Sometimes letting
- 6:08Speaker 1: go is the most courageous thing you can do. Giving
- 6:11Speaker 1: up says, my life is over because this person left.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Letting go says, this chapter is over, but my life continues.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Giving up says, I cannot move forward without them. Letting
- 6:22Speaker 1: go says, I can grieve what happened and still move forward.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Giving up says, they were my only chance. Letting go says,
- 6:29Speaker 1: my future is bigger than one relationship. You have to
- 6:33Speaker 1: stop making one person's departure the definition of your entire story.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Maybe they thought you would chase them because you always did.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Maybe they became comfortable with your pursuit. Maybe they believed
- 6:44Speaker 1: that no matter how far they went, you would eventually
- 6:47Speaker 1: come running. But growth changes patterns. The old you might
- 6:50Speaker 1: have chased. The new you pauses. The old you might
- 6:53Speaker 1: have begged for another conversation. The new you recognizes when
- 6:57Speaker 1: silence is an answer. The old you might have tried
- 7:00Speaker 1: to repair everything immediately. The new you understands that some
- 7:03Speaker 1: things cannot be repaired by one person, and that doesn't
- 7:06Speaker 1: mean you don't have a heart. It means you finally
- 7:09Speaker 1: have boundaries. You have to understand that boundaries are not
- 7:12Speaker 1: walls built from hatred. Boundaries are doors with handles. You
- 7:16Speaker 1: decide who gets access. You decide what treatment you will accept.
- 7:20Speaker 1: You decide what behavior you will no longer tolerate. And
- 7:24Speaker 1: when someone repeatedly crosses those boundaries, you don't have to
- 7:27Speaker 1: keep explaining why it hurts. Sometimes the explanation has already
- 7:31Speaker 1: been given. The next step is action. You step back.
- 7:34Speaker 1: You protect your peace. You redirect your energy. You stop chasing.
- 7:37Speaker 1: And you allow people's choices to reveal their priorities. Because
- 7:42Speaker 1: actions will eventually tell you what words try to hide.
- 7:45Speaker 1: If somebody says they care but repeatedly treats you as
- 7:47Speaker 1: though you don't matter, pay attention to the pattern. If
- 7:51Speaker 1: somebody says they value you but constantly makes you feel unwanted,
- 7:55Speaker 1: pay attention to the pattern. If somebody only comes close
- 7:58Speaker 1: when they need something and disappears when you need them,
- 8:01Speaker 1: Pay attention to the pattern. You don't need to hate
- 8:04Speaker 1: them to recognize the pattern. You don't need to expose them.
- 8:08Speaker 1: You don't need to create a public battle. You simply
- 8:11Speaker 1: need to become honest with yourself. And sometimes honesty hurts
- 8:14Speaker 1: before it heals. It hurts to admit that someone you
- 8:17Speaker 1: wanted may not be someone who can walk with you.
- 8:20Speaker 1: It hurts to realize that you cannot make somebody become
- 8:22Speaker 1: the person you hoped they would be. It hurts to
- 8:25Speaker 1: accept that some relationships have expiration dates. But pain does
- 8:29Speaker 1: not mean the decision is wrong. Sometimes pain is simply
- 8:33Speaker 1: the cost of releasing what you were emotionally attached to.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And you cannot keep sacrificing your peace to avoid temporary pain.
- 8:40Speaker 1: There is a different kind of strength that comes when
- 8:42Speaker 1: you stop asking, how can I get them back? And
- 8:45Speaker 1: start asking, how can I get myself back? Get your
- 8:48Speaker 1: confidence back. Get your focus back. Get your discipline back.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Get your joy back. Get your relationship with your purpose back.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Get back to the things you stopped doing because you
- 8:59Speaker 1: were too busy trying to hold together something that was
- 9:02Speaker 1: falling apart. You were not created to spend your entire
- 9:05Speaker 1: life standing outside somebody else's door waiting for permission to enter.
- 9:09Speaker 1: You were created to walk. You were created to grow.
- 9:12Speaker 1: You were created to become. And sometimes the person you
- 9:15Speaker 1: are chasing is standing between you and the person you
- 9:18Speaker 1: are becoming. not because they are necessarily evil, not because
- 9:22Speaker 1: they are your enemy, but because your attachment to their
- 9:25Speaker 1: approval has become stronger than your commitment to your own growth.
- 9:29Speaker 1: That's when you have to release, not with hatred, with wisdom,
- 9:33Speaker 1: not with revenge, with peace, not with bitterness, with acceptance.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Because when you stop chasing people who have chosen distance,
- 9:40Speaker 1: you create space for something powerful to happen. You finally
- 9:43Speaker 1: start moving in the direction of your own life. And
- 9:46Speaker 1: you begin to realize that walking away from someone does
- 9:49Speaker 1: not mean you lost. Sometimes walking away means you finally
- 9:52Speaker 1: stop losing yourself. There was a time when you felt
- 9:55Speaker 1: like you had to respond to everything. every accusation, every misunderstanding,
- 10:00Speaker 1: Every cold reply. Every sudden change in someone's behavior. Every
- 10:04Speaker 1: person who tried to provoke you felt like they deserved
- 10:06Speaker 1: an answer. But maturity teaches you something different. You don't
- 10:11Speaker 1: have to answer everything. You don't have to explain yourself
- 10:14Speaker 1: to everyone. You don't have to defend your character every
- 10:17Speaker 1: time somebody misunderstands you. And you certainly don't have to
- 10:20Speaker 1: chase somebody simply because they decided to become distant. Sometimes
- 10:25Speaker 1: your silence is not an absence of words. Sometimes your
- 10:28Speaker 1: silence is evidence that you have finally learned how to
- 10:30Speaker 1: control your emotions. Anybody can react. It takes strength to pause.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Anybody can send the angry message. It takes discipline to
- 10:38Speaker 1: put the phone down. Anybody can argue. It takes wisdom
- 10:41Speaker 1: to recognize when an argument is going nowhere. Anybody can
- 10:45Speaker 1: chase after somebody who is pulling away. It takes self-respect
- 10:48Speaker 1: to stand still and say, I will not beg for
- 10:51Speaker 1: what should be freely given. You have to understand that
- 10:54Speaker 1: silence does not always mean you have nothing to say.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Sometimes it means you have said enough. You already explained
- 11:01Speaker 1: your heart. You already communicated your concerns. You already told
- 11:05Speaker 1: them what hurt you. You already gave them opportunities to understand.
- 11:09Speaker 1: And if they still choose to misunderstand you, repeating yourself
- 11:12Speaker 1: 10 more times may not change anything. There are people
- 11:15Speaker 1: who don't want an explanation. They want a reaction. They
- 11:19Speaker 1: want to know that they can still control your emotions.
- 11:22Speaker 1: They want to see you become frustrated. They want to
- 11:24Speaker 1: see you chase. They want evidence that their absence still
- 11:27Speaker 1: has power over you. And when you refuse to give
- 11:30Speaker 1: them that reaction, something changes. You take your power back.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Not power over them. Power over yourself. That is the
- 11:37Speaker 1: kind of power that matters. Because the strongest person in
- 11:40Speaker 1: the room is not always the loudest person. Sometimes it
- 11:43Speaker 1: is the person who could respond but chooses peace. Sometimes
- 11:47Speaker 1: it is the person who could expose everything but chooses dignity.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Sometimes it is the person who could say everything they
- 11:53Speaker 1: feel but realizes that not everyone deserves access to their
- 11:57Speaker 1: deepest emotions. You don't have to turn every disappointment into
- 12:00Speaker 1: a confrontation. You don't have to turn every disagreement into
- 12:04Speaker 1: a war. You don't have to turn every goodbye into
- 12:07Speaker 1: a desperate attempt to make somebody stay. There are moments
- 12:10Speaker 1: when silence becomes your boundary. You are saying without saying it,
- 12:14Speaker 1: I will not participate in this. I will not argue
- 12:17Speaker 1: with disrespect. I will not chase someone who has chosen distance.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I will not allow someone else's confusion to become my chaos.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I will not destroy my peace trying to prove my worth.
- 12:29Speaker 1: That is strength. And don't misunderstand me. Silence does not
- 12:33Speaker 1: mean you never communicate. Healthy people communicate. They speak when
- 12:37Speaker 1: something needs to be addressed. They apologize when they are wrong.
- 12:40Speaker 1: They express their feelings honestly. They have difficult conversations when
- 12:44Speaker 1: those conversations are necessary. But there is a difference between
- 12:48Speaker 1: communication and emotional chasing. Communication says, here is how I feel.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Chasing says, please change your mind about me. Communication says,
- 12:57Speaker 1: this behavior hurt me. Chasing says, please stop treating me
- 13:01Speaker 1: badly so I can feel worthy. Communication says, I want
- 13:05Speaker 1: to work through this. Chasing says, I will do anything
- 13:08Speaker 1: if you don't leave. You have to learn the difference.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Because when you don't know the difference, you can spend
- 13:14Speaker 1: years exhausting yourself trying to hold on to people who
- 13:17Speaker 1: are not holding on to you. And eventually, you become
- 13:20Speaker 1: emotionally drained. You lose focus. You lose confidence. You start
- 13:24Speaker 1: questioning yourself. You start wondering what is wrong with you.
- 13:28Speaker 1: But sometimes nothing is wrong with you. Sometimes the connection
- 13:32Speaker 1: simply isn't healthy anymore. Sometimes people grow apart. Sometimes priorities change.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Sometimes a chapter closes. And sometimes God allows distance because
- 13:41Speaker 1: staying attached would keep you stuck. You have to stop
- 13:43Speaker 1: interpreting every departure as rejection. Some departures are redirection. Some
- 13:48Speaker 1: endings are protection. Some unanswered messages are answers. Some closed
- 13:52Speaker 1: doors are mercy. And when you understand that your silence
- 13:56Speaker 1: becomes easier, you stop needing to know why someone didn't
- 13:59Speaker 1: choose you. You stop demanding explanations from people who are
- 14:02Speaker 1: unwilling to give them. You stop trying to force closure
- 14:06Speaker 1: from the person who created the confusion. You learn that
- 14:09Speaker 1: closure can sometimes come from within. You can say, I
- 14:12Speaker 1: may never understand everything that happened, but I know I
- 14:15Speaker 1: don't want to live in this cycle anymore. That's enough.
- 14:19Speaker 1: You don't need their permission to heal. You don't need
- 14:21Speaker 1: their apology to move forward. You don't need their recognition
- 14:25Speaker 1: to know your worth. You don't need their return to
- 14:28Speaker 1: prove that you mattered. Your value is not determined by
- 14:31Speaker 1: whether someone comes back. Your value is determined by who
- 14:34Speaker 1: you are when nobody is applauding you. And there is
- 14:38Speaker 1: something powerful about becoming comfortable with your own company. When
- 14:41Speaker 1: you can sit alone without feeling abandoned, you become harder
- 14:45Speaker 1: to manipulate. When you can walk away without needing immediate replacement,
- 14:49Speaker 1: you become harder to control. When you can be misunderstood
- 14:52Speaker 1: without desperately trying to correct every person, you become emotionally stronger.
- 14:58Speaker 1: When you can lose someone's attention without losing yourself, you
- 15:01Speaker 1: have reached another level of maturity they thought you would
- 15:04Speaker 1: chase them. They expected you to panic when they became distant.
- 15:08Speaker 1: But what happens when you don't? What happens when they
- 15:11Speaker 1: realize that your silence isn't a strategy to get them back?
- 15:15Speaker 1: What happens when they realize you're not pretending to be
- 15:17Speaker 1: okay just to make them jealous? What happens when they
- 15:21Speaker 1: realize you have genuinely stopped chasing? That is when your
- 15:24Speaker 1: silence becomes powerful. Because you are no longer using silence
- 15:28Speaker 1: to manipulate them. You are using silence to protect yourself.
- 15:32Speaker 1: There is a difference. Don't become silent because you want
- 15:35Speaker 1: them to wonder where you are. Become silent because you
- 15:38Speaker 1: are no longer interested in explaining yourself to someone committed
- 15:41Speaker 1: to misunderstanding you. Don't become distant because you want them
- 15:45Speaker 1: to miss you. Become distant because you have learned that
- 15:48Speaker 1: constant access to you is a privilege, not an obligation.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Don't stop talking because you want to punish them. Stop
- 15:55Speaker 1: talking when continuing the conversation is damaging your peace. That
- 15:59Speaker 1: is the difference between revenge and self-control. Revenge says, I
- 16:02Speaker 1: want you to hurt Self-control says, I refuse to hurt
- 16:06Speaker 1: myself anymore. And that second one is where real growth begins.
- 16:10Speaker 1: You will discover that not every person deserves an immediate response.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Some messages can wait. Some accusations don't deserve your energy.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Some provocations deserve no response at all. Some people will
- 16:22Speaker 1: tell stories about you that you cannot control. Let them talk.
- 16:25Speaker 1: You know who you are. You know what you meant.
- 16:27Speaker 1: You know what you gave. You know what you tried.
- 16:30Speaker 1: And if someone has already decided to misunderstand you, you
- 16:34Speaker 1: cannot spend the rest of your life trying to become
- 16:36Speaker 1: understandable to them. Your peace is too expensive. Protect it.
- 16:40Speaker 1: There is a season where you have to stop proving
- 16:42Speaker 1: and start becoming. Stop proving that you care. Become someone
- 16:46Speaker 1: who knows how to love without begging. Stop proving that
- 16:49Speaker 1: you are loyal. Become someone who remains loyal to your
- 16:52Speaker 1: own values. Stop proving that you are worthy. Become someone
- 16:56Speaker 1: who no longer negotiates their dignity. Stop proving that you
- 16:59Speaker 1: can survive without them. Just live. Just grow. Just keep moving,
- 17:04Speaker 1: because eventually your life will speak louder than your explanations
- 17:07Speaker 1: ever could. Your consistency will speak. Your character will speak.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Your growth will speak. Your peace will speak. And you
- 17:14Speaker 1: won't have to announce that you have changed. People will
- 17:17Speaker 1: see it. They will notice that the person who once
- 17:19Speaker 1: reacted instantly now takes time to think. They will notice
- 17:23Speaker 1: that the person who once chased now knows how to
- 17:25Speaker 1: walk away. They will notice that the person who once
- 17:28Speaker 1: needed constant reassurance now carries confidence from within. They will
- 17:32Speaker 1: notice that you don't need to be constantly seen to
- 17:35Speaker 1: know that you matter. And that kind of transformation cannot
- 17:39Speaker 1: be faked. It comes from learning that you don't have
- 17:41Speaker 1: to fight every battle. You don't have to answer every accusation.
- 17:46Speaker 1: You don't have to chase every person. You don't have
- 17:48Speaker 1: to explain every decision. You don't have to make everyone
- 17:52Speaker 1: understand your heart. Sometimes you simply have to remain faithful
- 17:55Speaker 1: to who you are and keep walking in the direction
- 17:57Speaker 1: of your purpose. Let them misunderstand. Let them speculate. Let
- 18:02Speaker 1: them wonder why you became quiet. Let them ask why
- 18:04Speaker 1: you stopped chasing. You don't owe everyone an explanation for
- 18:08Speaker 1: choosing peace. There are things you will understand only after
- 18:11Speaker 1: you stop reacting. There are lessons you will hear only
- 18:15Speaker 1: after the noise becomes quiet. There are parts of yourself
- 18:17Speaker 1: you will discover only after you stop spending all your
- 18:20Speaker 1: energy trying to keep somebody else close. So protect your silence,
- 18:24Speaker 1: not as a weapon, as a sanctuary. Protect your peace,
- 18:28Speaker 1: not because you don't care about people, Because you finally
- 18:31Speaker 1: understand that you cannot pour endlessly from an empty heart
- 18:35Speaker 1: and protect your emotional energy. Because every time you chase
- 18:38Speaker 1: someone who has chosen distance, you are spending energy that
- 18:42Speaker 1: could have been used to build the life waiting for you.
- 18:44Speaker 1: There is something powerful that happens when you stop trying
- 18:47Speaker 1: to prove yourself and start improving yourself. Because when somebody
- 18:52Speaker 1: walks away from you, your first instinct may be to
- 18:55Speaker 1: make them regret it. You may think, one day they
- 18:58Speaker 1: will see what they lost. One day they will realize
- 19:00Speaker 1: they made a mistake. One day they will look at
- 19:03Speaker 1: me and wish they had stayed. But be careful, because
- 19:06Speaker 1: if your entire transformation is built around making somebody regret
- 19:10Speaker 1: losing you, then they are still controlling your life. You
- 19:13Speaker 1: may have stopped chasing them physically, but you are still
- 19:17Speaker 1: chasing their attention emotionally. You are still wondering whether they noticed.
- 19:21Speaker 1: You are still checking whether they reacted. You are still
- 19:24Speaker 1: imagining what they might say if they saw how much
- 19:27Speaker 1: you have changed. And that is not freedom. Freedom is
- 19:31Speaker 1: when you grow whether they notice or not. Freedom is
- 19:34Speaker 1: when you become better without needing them to witness it.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Freedom is when your success no longer requires their regret.
- 19:40Speaker 1: You don't need to become successful just so someone from
- 19:43Speaker 1: your past will look at you differently. Become successful because
- 19:46Speaker 1: you have a purpose. Become stronger because life requires strength.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Become wiser because experience taught you something. Become disciplined because
- 19:55Speaker 1: your future needs discipline. Become peaceful because you have discovered
- 19:59Speaker 1: that peace is more valuable than attention. Your growth cannot
- 20:02Speaker 1: be a performance for somebody who walked away. Your growth
- 20:06Speaker 1: has to be a commitment to yourself. Think about how
- 20:09Speaker 1: much energy you once spent trying to be understood. How
- 20:12Speaker 1: much time you spent wondering what they were thinking. How
- 20:15Speaker 1: many moments you wasted checking whether they had noticed your absence.
- 20:19Speaker 1: How many times you replayed conversations. How many times you
- 20:22Speaker 1: imagined what you should have said. How many times you thought,
- 20:26Speaker 1: maybe if I had done this differently, they would still
- 20:29Speaker 1: be here. But what if instead of spending another hour
- 20:32Speaker 1: trying to understand their decision, you spent that hour understanding yourself?
- 20:37Speaker 1: What if you stopped asking why they left and started
- 20:39Speaker 1: asking where you are going? What if you stopped looking
- 20:43Speaker 1: behind you for their reaction and started looking ahead toward
- 20:46Speaker 1: your purpose? That shift changes everything. Because your future does
- 20:50Speaker 1: not need permission from your past. Your future does not
- 20:53Speaker 1: need approval from people who no longer belong in it.
- 20:56Speaker 1: You don't need to carry yesterday into tomorrow just because
- 20:59Speaker 1: somebody once mattered to you. Take the lesson. Leave the weight.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Take the wisdom. Release the resentment. Take the experience. Release
- 21:08Speaker 1: the obsession. There is a difference between remembering what happened
- 21:12Speaker 1: and allowing what happened to control you. You can remember
- 21:14Speaker 1: someone without returning to them. You can appreciate what a
- 21:17Speaker 1: relationship taught you without reopening the door. You can acknowledge
- 21:22Speaker 1: that someone mattered without making them the center of your future.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Growth means you learn how to carry the lesson without
- 21:28Speaker 1: carrying the pain forever. Maybe they underestimated you. Maybe they
- 21:33Speaker 1: thought you would fall apart. Maybe they expected you to
- 21:36Speaker 1: remain stuck. Maybe they believed your best days were connected
- 21:39Speaker 1: to them. But they don't get to decide that. You
- 21:42Speaker 1: decide what you do with what happened. You can take
- 21:44Speaker 1: rejection and turn it into resilience. You can take disappointment
- 21:49Speaker 1: and turn it into wisdom. You can take loneliness and
- 21:51Speaker 1: turn it into self-discovery. You can take a closed door
- 21:55Speaker 1: and use it as motivation to find another path. You
- 21:57Speaker 1: can take the season that broke your heart and allow
- 22:00Speaker 1: it to build your character. But don't grow out of revenge.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Grow out of purpose. Because revenge keeps you connected to
- 22:06Speaker 1: the person you are trying to forget. Purpose sets you free.
- 22:10Speaker 1: When you are motivated by revenge, you keep checking whether
- 22:13Speaker 1: they notice. When you are motivated by purpose, you don't
- 22:17Speaker 1: care who noticed. When you are motivated by revenge, their
- 22:20Speaker 1: reaction determines whether you feel successful. When you are motivated
- 22:24Speaker 1: by purpose, your progress becomes its own reward. When you
- 22:27Speaker 1: are motivated by revenge, you are still living for them.
- 22:30Speaker 1: When you are motivated by purpose, you are finally living
- 22:34Speaker 1: for the life you were meant to live. That's the difference.
- 22:37Speaker 1: You don't need them to regret losing you. You need
- 22:40Speaker 1: to stop regretting that you lost yourself while trying to
- 22:42Speaker 1: keep them. That's the real battle. Because sometimes the greatest
- 22:46Speaker 1: thing you lost was not the person. It was your focus.
- 22:50Speaker 1: It was your confidence. It was your peace. It was
- 22:52Speaker 1: your ability to enjoy your own life without constantly wondering
- 22:56Speaker 1: what somebody else was thinking. So get that back. Start rebuilding.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Wake up with purpose. Work on yourself. Develop your gifts.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Strengthen your character. Take care of your responsibilities. Learn something new.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Become disciplined. Become emotionally mature. Become someone you are proud
- 23:12Speaker 1: to be when nobody is watching. And don't do it
- 23:15Speaker 1: because you want somebody else to notice. Do it because
- 23:18Speaker 1: your future deserves the best version of you. There are
- 23:21Speaker 1: people who will only understand your value after you stop
- 23:24Speaker 1: making yourself constantly available. But don't wait for that realization.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Their realization is not your assignment. Your assignment is growth.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Their regret is not your responsibility. Your responsibility is becoming
- 23:36Speaker 1: who you are capable of becoming. Their opinion is not
- 23:39Speaker 1: your destination. Your purpose is. And sometimes growth means accepting
- 23:43Speaker 1: that not everybody will celebrate the new version of you.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Some people were comfortable with the version of you that
- 23:49Speaker 1: had no boundaries. They liked the version of you that
- 23:52Speaker 1: always said yes. They liked the version of you that
- 23:55Speaker 1: apologized first. They liked the version of you that chased
- 23:59Speaker 1: them whenever they became distant. They liked knowing that they
- 24:02Speaker 1: could disappear and you would still be there waiting. But
- 24:05Speaker 1: when you grow, those patterns change. You start saying no.
- 24:09Speaker 1: You start protecting your time. You stop over-explaining. You stop
- 24:12Speaker 1: tolerating disrespect. You stop begging for attention. You stop allowing
- 24:16Speaker 1: guilt to control your decisions. And suddenly, people may say,
- 24:20Speaker 1: you've changed. You did. But maybe the change was necessary.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Maybe you had to become stronger because the old version
- 24:27Speaker 1: of you kept accepting things that were destroying your peace.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Maybe you had to become wiser because you kept giving
- 24:33Speaker 1: people access they had not earned. Maybe you had to
- 24:36Speaker 1: become more confident because you spent too long measuring yourself
- 24:40Speaker 1: through someone else's eyes. Growth often feels uncomfortable because the
- 24:43Speaker 1: person you are becoming can no longer fit inside the
- 24:46Speaker 1: life you used to tolerate. and that's okay. You don't
- 24:50Speaker 1: have to shrink yourself to remain familiar to people. You
- 24:53Speaker 1: don't have to stay broken because somebody preferred the version
- 24:56Speaker 1: of you that was easier to control. You are allowed
- 24:59Speaker 1: to grow. You are allowed to change. You are allowed
- 25:02Speaker 1: to become more selective about who receives your energy. You
- 25:06Speaker 1: are allowed to discover that peace matters more than being
- 25:08Speaker 1: understood And you are allowed to walk into a new
- 25:11Speaker 1: season without explaining every step to the people from your
- 25:15Speaker 1: old season. They may not recognize you anymore. That's okay.
- 25:19Speaker 1: You don't need to remain the same person just because
- 25:21Speaker 1: somebody remembers who you used to be. Let them remember
- 25:25Speaker 1: the old version. You keep becoming the new one. And
- 25:28Speaker 1: don't rush your transformation. Real growth takes time. You don't
- 25:31Speaker 1: wake up one morning and suddenly stop caring. You don't
- 25:34Speaker 1: erase years of attachment in one day. You don't become
- 25:37Speaker 1: completely confident overnight. There will be moments when you miss them.
- 25:42Speaker 1: There will be moments when memories return. There will be
- 25:45Speaker 1: moments when you wonder whether things could have been different.
- 25:48Speaker 1: But don't mistake remembering for needing to return. You can
- 25:52Speaker 1: miss something and still know it isn't good for you.
- 25:55Speaker 1: You can care about someone and still choose distance. You
- 25:58Speaker 1: can have love in your heart.
