- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, welcome back in OTB live from Rouse's Burbank
- 0:05Speaker 1: and Lee Jake Flynn Cassie here. We got Luke and
- 0:08Speaker 1: Tay Tay holding it down back in the Raising Cane's studio.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Let's get to a little NFL action here to kick
- 0:17Speaker 1: off our number two. The New Orleans Saints going to
- 0:20Speaker 1: be taking on the undefeated Minnesota Vikings. Now the NFL
- 0:26Speaker 1: has been a little wild this year. A lot of
- 0:28Speaker 1: times when we expect something to happen, it doesn't, and
- 0:31Speaker 1: it doesn't in like a big way. So I understand
- 0:35Speaker 1: that Minnesota is coming to town as a two-and-a-half point favorite.
- 0:41Speaker 1: They should. They're undefeated. They're 2-0 away from.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Are they 2-1⁄2?
- 0:46Speaker 1: Yes.
- 0:47Speaker 2: All right. Good for you, Saints.
- 0:48Speaker 1: From Minneapolis, they are away from Minneapolis. They're 2-0. Saints
- 0:53Speaker 1: are 0-2 at home. right so I get all of
- 0:56Speaker 1: that but again it's been unpredictable the thing it's pretty
- 1:00Speaker 1: black and white for me in this matchup Minnesota's not
- 1:04Speaker 1: going to have a crazy offensive performance that's not what
- 1:07Speaker 1: they want to get done like by saying that you
- 1:10Speaker 1: know what I mean like would they want to be
- 1:12Speaker 1: explosive yes but they understand what they have and so
- 1:16Speaker 1: what I say that's not what they want to get
- 1:17Speaker 1: done They understand that it's got to be about Aaron
- 1:20Speaker 1: Jones in the running game. It's got to be about
- 1:22Speaker 1: protecting the football. It's got to be about churning clock
- 1:24Speaker 1: and winning time of possession and having long, sustained drives.
- 1:28Speaker 1: That's how they're going to win because they know they've
- 1:30Speaker 1: got a really good defense. And so that's what they
- 1:34Speaker 1: want to get done. They want to make sure that
- 1:36Speaker 1: they dictate the style of the game. They dictate the
- 1:39Speaker 1: pace of the game. They impose their will on you,
- 1:42Speaker 1: not vice versa. So that part of it, we know.
- 1:46Speaker 1: The game's going to come down to one thing, Matt.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Can Tyler Shuck and the Saints offensive line handle the pressure?
- 1:53Speaker 1: 76% of the time, Minnesota pressures the quarterback. That's sending
- 1:59Speaker 1: at least five, 76%.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Of the time.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Can they handle that?
- 2:03Speaker 2: It's an astonishing number. It is.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Can they block it up? If you block that up,
- 2:08Speaker 1: there's plays to be made. It's just having the right plan,
- 2:12Speaker 1: getting the right guys in place, making sure your backs
- 2:15Speaker 1: are really good in pass protection. the saints backs have
- 2:20Speaker 1: not been great in past protection.
- 2:22Speaker 2: That makes me a little nervous about it running though.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Well, no, I mean, well, no, but you know, just
- 2:28Speaker 1: want to make sure I give it. They haven't been
- 2:29Speaker 1: good in past protection either. AK was better last game
- 2:32Speaker 1: than I've seen him in a while.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Yeah. I think most of our comments about running backs
- 2:37Speaker 2: for the saints is not at AK. It's at Kendra, right? Yeah. Fair.
- 2:47Speaker 2: There is hope for the saints. I mean, my God, the,
- 2:50Speaker 2: The Buccaneers won last night. Like, anything can happen in
- 2:53Speaker 2: the NFL. Yeah, a team can be undefeated in the
- 2:56Speaker 2: NFL after a handful of games. That doesn't mean they're
- 2:58Speaker 2: world beaters. That doesn't mean they're the best team in
- 3:00Speaker 2: the world. And I think that we're at the point
- 3:02Speaker 2: of the season right now where there's a lot of overreaction.
- 3:04Speaker 2: There's a lot of overassuming what teams are. We don't
- 3:07Speaker 2: really know what some of these teams are. Yeah, I
- 3:10Speaker 2: think we're pretty sure that the Chiefs are good, the
- 3:12Speaker 2: 49ers are good. The Vikings are different to me. The
- 3:15Speaker 2: Vikings are this team that we know it's good. You're
- 3:18Speaker 2: not winning that many games and being undefeated in the
- 3:20Speaker 2: NFL through four weeks without being good. How good are they?
- 3:23Speaker 2: It doesn't mean that they are absolutely impossible. I know
- 3:27Speaker 2: if Saints fans were feeling bad because it was such
- 3:29Speaker 2: a poor performance on Monday. But Jake, when you were
- 3:33Speaker 2: like professional athletes, you're the ultimate like professional athletes are
- 3:36Speaker 2: the ultimate competitors, right? Yeah. What happens usually when you
- 3:40Speaker 2: play a bad game? What's the one thing you want
- 3:43Speaker 2: to do? You want to play another game. You want
- 3:46Speaker 2: to get right back out there. You want to get
- 3:48Speaker 2: right back out there. You're embarrassed. When you embarrass professional athletes, usually,
- 3:52Speaker 2: I'm not saying all the time, usually there's an extra.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Amount of effort. Football's tough in that because you don't
- 3:59Speaker 1: get to get back the next night.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:01Speaker 1: MLB, you're right back at it.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:04Speaker 1: A lot of times in NBA, if you're not right
- 4:05Speaker 1: back at it, two days max, you're back at it. Football,
- 4:09Speaker 1: you got to wait. You got to wait a full
- 4:11Speaker 1: six and a half days.
- 4:12Speaker 2: And I think it's easy as a fan base, especially
- 4:14Speaker 2: when things have been bad for, you know, multiple years
- 4:17Speaker 2: in a row or not where you wanted them to be,
- 4:19Speaker 2: at least. I think it's easy to get a defeatist attitude. Right. Well,
- 4:22Speaker 2: that was just awful. There was such buildup, blah, blah, blah. Oh, gosh,
- 4:26Speaker 2: the Vikings are coming. They're undefeated. Look at this defense.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Well.
- 4:30Speaker 2: You got a Saints team that's four games into the season.
- 4:35Speaker 2: They probably felt like they played three good games of
- 4:38Speaker 2: the four, and then they got embarrassed on another one.
- 4:41Speaker 2: So I think that they are going to have a
- 4:45Speaker 2: hell of a week in preparation. I think they are
- 4:48Speaker 2: going to be motivated. Now, does motivation win you the game? No,
- 4:51Speaker 2: it doesn't. You still have to go out there and execute. Right.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Do the Saints have the horses to go out there
- 4:57Speaker 2: and execute? We'll see. The running game is a huge concern.
- 5:01Speaker 2: It's the biggest concern for the Saints right now. But
- 5:03Speaker 2: you've got a quarterback that is calm under pressure. I
- 5:07Speaker 2: watch him play, and it doesn't matter what's happening around him.
- 5:11Speaker 2: His feet are calm. He's looking downfield. He's not flinching.
- 5:15Speaker 2: He's throwing it, making a heroic throw as he's getting crushed.
- 5:20Speaker 2: I think I saw something. What did Nick Underhill post yesterday?
- 5:23Speaker 2: He posted some stat. He posted something. It says... Tyler
- 5:29Speaker 2: Shuck is on pace to take the most contact in
- 5:31Speaker 2: two decades of quarterback play. I didn't know that was possible.
- 5:36Speaker 2: I thought that was definitely Ben Roethlisberger. But he has
- 5:39Speaker 2: taken a lot of contact, and he's not flinching people. So,
- 5:42Speaker 2: Brian Flores, if you're going to blitz 70% of the time,
- 5:46Speaker 2: you're blitzing against a quarterback that's not going to get rattled. Now,
- 5:49Speaker 2: can you sack him? Can you get him down on
- 5:50Speaker 2: the ground? Yeah, you can.
- 5:53Speaker 3: But.
- 5:54Speaker 2: at least we got a puncher's chance at it. Right. And,
- 5:57Speaker 2: but offensively, the Vikings aren't there. They're not there yet. Right.
- 6:02Speaker 2: I think they'll get there. I think they have the,
- 6:04Speaker 2: this team has the Vikings team has a potential to
- 6:06Speaker 2: be really good at the end of the year, but
- 6:09Speaker 2: I don't know. Stranger things have happened. Two and a
- 6:13Speaker 2: half point favorite.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I mean, the offense for Minnesota is not where it's
- 6:15Speaker 1: going to run away from you.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Like you'll have a, you'll have a chance. Vegas
- 6:19Speaker 2: did not overreact to Monday night. like probably Saints fans
- 6:25Speaker 2: are doing, right? I think there's a big overreaction, and
- 6:27Speaker 2: rightfully so. There was a lot of buildup in that city,
- 6:30Speaker 2: a lot of buildup for that game. Finally on national television,
- 6:33Speaker 2: it's not like on a primetime game, and it's a
- 6:36Speaker 2: big letdown. But if you just take that one-week sample
- 6:42Speaker 2: size and watch the Saints-Falcons, and then you take on top,
- 6:46Speaker 2: you got an undefeated team coming in, two and a
- 6:48Speaker 2: half points is not like a terrible... A terrible line.
- 6:52Speaker 2: They didn't overreact like I think some people have. You
- 6:55Speaker 2: would have thought it'd be 10-point favorites.
- 6:58Speaker 1: So when we talk about Minnesota and the pressures that
- 7:01Speaker 1: they bring, at some point I'll try to find exactly
- 7:04Speaker 1: which ones they're bringing and which ones are favorite blitz.
- 7:07Speaker 1: But again, it's going to be a lot. So the
- 7:08Speaker 1: running back is going to be crucial. And I mean
- 7:10Speaker 1: crucial in pass protection. It's got to be AK or
- 7:13Speaker 1: CJ Donaldson.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Has to be.
- 7:16Speaker 1: AK's gotten better. Like, it's not been his strongest suit
- 7:19Speaker 1: in his career. Now, a lot of times, like, he's
- 7:21Speaker 1: been a free release back, too. So it hasn't been
- 7:23Speaker 1: a lot because he's running different things. Like, he's running
- 7:25Speaker 1: option routes. He's running rail routes out of the backfield.
- 7:28Speaker 1: He's doing a lot of different stuff. So he hasn't
- 7:29Speaker 1: had as many reps as a back that's played as
- 7:31Speaker 1: much as he has. But he's been much better this year.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Kendre Miller right now, his pass protecting grade on pro
- 7:39Speaker 1: football focus is a 21.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 7:40Speaker 1: That's out of 100. It's out of 100, not 25.
- 7:45Speaker 1: He's a 21.1. His rushing grade is 30, so that's
- 7:52Speaker 1: not much better.
- 7:56Speaker 2: If this was baseball, it would be in the Hall
- 7:57Speaker 2: of Fame.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Yeah, well, Jimbo, he's not. It's not baseball. So he
- 8:02Speaker 1: can't be back there. Nope, not in this game. That's
- 8:05Speaker 1: a liability. You cannot be back there in this game
- 8:07Speaker 1: with who you're playing, what they're going to try to
- 8:09Speaker 1: get done to you. It's going to be an AK. And, again,
- 8:12Speaker 1: I'll take C.J. Donaldson, I think, in this situation. I
- 8:15Speaker 1: know he hasn't had a lot of reps, and I
- 8:17Speaker 1: know he's a young player. But I'll give you an example,
- 8:21Speaker 1: like his pass protection grade. Because, remember, he's playing some fullback, too.
- 8:24Speaker 1: So he's had some reps in the backfield at a
- 8:25Speaker 1: different position but still blocking guys. His pass protecting grade
- 8:29Speaker 1: is a 60.5.
- 8:31Speaker 2: I'll take that.
- 8:32Speaker 1: I'll take that over, what did I say, 20?
- 8:37Speaker 2: Yeah, 21. 21, yeah. I'll take that over a 21.
- 8:41Speaker 2: If only we had Audrick Estime. That'd be good to
- 8:45Speaker 2: have him right now. Or Devin Neal. Take him, too.
- 8:50Speaker 2: He's going to beat the game. Oh, he is? He
- 8:53Speaker 2: plays for the other team. Oh, he's not a fan?
- 8:56Speaker 2: Probably not right now. You know how that goes. Get
- 8:59Speaker 2: kind of mad when they cut you. Yeah, tell that
- 9:02Speaker 2: to that linebacker for the... Who was it that beat
- 9:05Speaker 2: the Broncos this past weekend? He yelled at Sean Payton.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Oh, Dre Greenlaw.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's real mad. Yeah, he was. He's
- 9:13Speaker 2: a relaxed guy. You know how that is.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, but still. They traded him, tells you
- 9:18Speaker 1: you're not good enough to be there. He's like, oh, bet.
- 9:20Speaker 1: I'm going to go beat you, pal. Minnesota has faced
- 9:25Speaker 1: 161 passes. Matthew, they have blitzed on 123 of those.
- 9:27Speaker 1: That's a lot of them. That is a 76.4% blitz percentage.
- 9:38Speaker 1: all right so let's break it down just real quick
- 9:40Speaker 1: here all right blitz percentage lined up in the box
- 9:45Speaker 1: 36 of the time blitz percentage lined up as a
- 9:49Speaker 1: slot corner so nickel 8.1 of the time they only
- 9:54Speaker 1: bring like a cowboy blitz a cat whatever you want
- 9:56Speaker 1: to call it corner 2.4 of the time simulated pressure 14.6%
- 10:00Speaker 1: of the time. They bring five guys 65% of the time.
- 10:05Speaker 1: The other is made up of they bring six guys 17.9%
- 10:09Speaker 1: of the time and they bring seven 2.4% of the time.
- 10:19Speaker 1: So on 65% of your plays, they're bringing somebody extra.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Of your blitz plays. Of your pass plays, yeah. That's
- 10:33Speaker 2: a lot. They like to pressure.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I mean, they actually could, like, have some, like, this
- 10:37Speaker 1: is just for pass plays.
- 10:39Speaker 2: They actually could have some run blitzes, too. Yeah, so
- 10:41Speaker 2: I think that's 125 pressures, right? 123, yeah. Of those 123,
- 10:47Speaker 2: 65% of those are six-man. Right, yep.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Which is still a gigantic number.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I'm trying to think. I don't really think I've watched
- 10:57Speaker 2: the Vikings. Like, I watched a little bit when Carson
- 11:01Speaker 2: Wentz was in there. I've watched a little bit of
- 11:04Speaker 2: Kyler Murray. I don't recall seeing their defense, so I
- 11:07Speaker 2: don't know if they're double-A gap mugs. It is a
- 11:11Speaker 2: little bit of everything.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Zimmer hadn't gone far away, even though he's not there.
- 11:16Speaker 1: They still do a ton of that.
- 11:16Speaker 2: The ghosts are still there a little bit.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Yes.
- 11:19Speaker 2: I mean, it's a challenge. I mean, it's a huge challenge. But, look,
- 11:23Speaker 2: I think Tyler Shuck's one of the best in the league.
- 11:26Speaker 2: already right now now does that mean anything if you
- 11:29Speaker 2: can't run the ball if you can't pass protect no
- 11:32Speaker 2: it doesn't mean squat if you can't do all those
- 11:34Speaker 2: things but i've seen him already this year in the
- 11:37Speaker 2: face of pressure calm feet throwing as he's getting hit
- 11:43Speaker 2: while he's getting hit not flinching reading downfield going through
- 11:47Speaker 2: his progressions making great throws finding guys i've seen people
- 11:50Speaker 2: that are catching the ball playing the best football of
- 11:53Speaker 2: their careers so Keep that up. Improve a little bit.
- 11:57Speaker 2: I mean, you don't have to go be world beaters,
- 11:59Speaker 2: offensive line. Just be decent. Don't be bad. Just be decent.
- 12:06Speaker 2: That's all we're asking. Is that too much? From professional
- 12:08Speaker 2: football players with, like, a billion first-rounders? Be decent? Oh,
- 12:16Speaker 2: I'm– How about that? You got all that– all that–
- 12:20Speaker 2: all that money– And draft picks tied up in the
- 12:23Speaker 2: offensive line. And all we want is decent play.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:27Speaker 2: That's it.
- 12:29Speaker 1: You have on your offensive line, like when healthy, first round,
- 12:35Speaker 1: huge free agent signing, second round, first round, first round.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Even without one of your first rounders, that's still a
- 12:44Speaker 1: lot of assets.
- 12:45Speaker 2: That's a lot. You could take half of them away.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Still a lot. My gosh. Just be better.
- 12:51Speaker 1: The names to look for if you're wondering, hey, who's
- 12:54Speaker 1: going to be the guy that's adding himself into the Blitz?
- 12:57Speaker 1: Look for number 55, Eric Wilson. He comes, so 235 plays,
- 13:03Speaker 1: 149 pass plays. Out of the 149 pass plays, he
- 13:08Speaker 1: pressures on 39.6% of those. So look out for him,
- 13:13Speaker 1: number 55, Eric Wilson. I believe he was the guy
- 13:16Speaker 1: that actually ran into the referee yesterday. last weekend and
- 13:19Speaker 1: got the referee suspended because the referee kind of pushed
- 13:22Speaker 1: him and yelled at him.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. That's him.
- 13:24Speaker 4: He's going to stone him. He's going to hit it
- 13:27Speaker 4: right in the jaw. And if Kendra is in there,
- 13:29Speaker 4: what's going to happen then? He will probably fall down
- 13:34Speaker 4: with his untucked undershirt.
- 13:39Speaker 2: That triggered you. You hadn't said that before.
- 13:42Speaker 1: All right. We will step away.
- 13:44Speaker 2: We've got more. Wear your uniform.
- 13:48Speaker 1: When we come back here live from Rouse's on Burbank

- 17:19Speaker 1: I think so, because it's in London.
- 17:20Speaker 2: That's true.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Although they're kind of like the pseudo home team in
- 17:23Speaker 1: London because they play there twice a year, and their
- 17:26Speaker 1: owner owns Fulham, and they just, you know, it's kind
- 17:29Speaker 1: of what they are.
- 17:30Speaker 2: It's kind of what it is.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Those teams going in opposite directions. Jacksonville right now, seven
- 17:35Speaker 1: and a half point favorite. It is the Chicago Bears,
- 17:38Speaker 1: the Green Bay Packers. In Lambeau, Chicago, a one and
- 17:42Speaker 1: a half point favorite on the road with a backup
- 17:45Speaker 1: quarterback to kind of tell you how things are going
- 17:47Speaker 1: in Green Bay. Right now, the battle for the artist
- 17:52Speaker 1: formerly known as the Houston Oilers. You've got the Houston
- 17:56Speaker 1: Texans traveling to Tennessee to take on the Titans. Right now,
- 17:59Speaker 1: Houston is a seven and a half point favorite. The
- 18:02Speaker 1: Cincinnati Bengals traveling to the Miami Dolphins. Cincinnati, a six
- 18:05Speaker 1: and a half point favorite. The Las Vegas Raiders traveling
- 18:08Speaker 1: to the New England Patriots. Patriots, a three and a
- 18:11Speaker 1: half point favorite. We've talked about Minnesota and New Orleans. Minnesota,
- 18:15Speaker 1: a two and a half point favorite. I like this one.
- 18:18Speaker 1: The Cleveland Browns traveling to the New York Jets. The
- 18:21Speaker 1: Jets actually a two and a half point favorite in
- 18:25Speaker 1: this game. That could be one to look at if
- 18:27Speaker 1: you're into that kind of thing.
- 18:29Speaker 2: I can't believe that's not a Thursday night game. It
- 18:33Speaker 2: just feels like one.
- 18:35Speaker 1: What do you mean by that, bud?
- 18:37Speaker 2: Well, you know, it just feels like, you know, Thursday
- 18:40Speaker 2: night every now and then is forced to put some
- 18:42Speaker 2: people out on a Thursday night primetime game. It feels
- 18:45Speaker 2: like that would be one of them. It's not three in.
- 18:49Speaker 1: One, three, three in one Cleveland.
- 18:52Speaker 2: I don't know. They're playing the jets. So they should
- 18:56Speaker 2: win the three in one. If they go to four
- 19:00Speaker 2: in one, do we have to start taking them seriously?
- 19:04Speaker 1: I've started to take them seriously because of Todd Monken.
- 19:08Speaker 2: And I know, I know who it is. Put your
- 19:09Speaker 2: feelings aside. No, that's funny coming from you. Well, you know.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Guy hates Notre Dame. Do as I say, not as
- 19:15Speaker 2: I do. You know what I mean?
- 19:17Speaker 1: Look, Deshaun Watson's playing efficient. Deshaun Watson at one time
- 19:20Speaker 1: was in the conversation of, is he a top 10
- 19:22Speaker 1: quarterback in the NFL?
- 19:23Speaker 2: And he was.
- 19:26Speaker 1: They've got their defense was good last year. I know
- 19:28Speaker 1: they don't have miles, but they traded for Jared Burse.
- 19:31Speaker 1: So they got a piece back. Swessinger was the defensive
- 19:34Speaker 1: rookie of the year. They got pieces. So you got
- 19:38Speaker 1: to take them seriously.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so. Grand Delph is playing awesome. I
- 19:41Speaker 2: don't know if I want to live in a world
- 19:42Speaker 2: that you got to take the Browns serious. Well, I
- 19:45Speaker 2: think you do. I know, but you're forced.
- 19:48Speaker 1: To.
- 19:48Speaker 2: And they haven't even started to run the football well yet.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Let me ask you this. If Deshaun Watson continues to
- 19:57Speaker 2: play as he is, which isn't like a world beater.
- 20:01Speaker 2: He's been efficient, though. He's been efficient, and he's been serviceable,
- 20:05Speaker 2: and he's been good. Right. Not great. Right. As a franchise,
- 20:12Speaker 2: do you start to evaluate him as the long-term solution?
- 20:17Speaker 2: They evaluated that years ago and paid him an ungodly
- 20:21Speaker 2: amount of money.
- 20:22Speaker 1: That's tough. You paid him to do nothing, and now
- 20:28Speaker 1: he's doing something, and he's going to be.
- 20:30Speaker 2: A free agent. I would not. Even if they win
- 20:35Speaker 2: 12 games, 13 games, because they're three and one right now.
- 20:40Speaker 2: I know. Let's just say they go. Let's just say
- 20:43Speaker 2: they go 12 and five as the Browns. They make
- 20:46Speaker 2: it to the playoffs. They get. They don't make it
- 20:49Speaker 2: to the AFC championship. They get beat. Yeah. Vision around
- 20:52Speaker 2: or whatever.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Right.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Are you forced to do it? Because think about the shirt.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Think about the T-shirt.
- 20:59Speaker 1: I know.
- 20:59Speaker 2: With all the quarterbacks.
- 21:01Speaker 1: You're going to probably make him an offer. But it's
- 21:03Speaker 1: not going to be 250 million. It can't be. He's
- 21:06Speaker 1: got to be like, guys, you're right.
- 21:07Speaker 2: But he's used to that paycheck.
- 21:09Speaker 1: My God.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Hey, Deshaun, we did you a solid. You didn't do anything.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Can you play the next two years on minimum?
- 21:17Speaker 1: Right.
- 21:17Speaker 2: It all equals something. You'll still be the highest paid
- 21:19Speaker 2: quarterback ever on average.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Right. It's actually a very valid question. I might actually
- 21:25Speaker 1: steal that for NFL later next week. I'll say my source, though. Well,
- 21:30Speaker 1: it's in.
- 21:31Speaker 2: They got to win, though.
- 21:32Speaker 1: They do, but I think they're kind of good. These
- 21:35Speaker 1: young receivers, Casey Concepcion and Boston are good. Harold Fannin Jr.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Tight ends. Good.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Spencer Fano. It tackles getting better. He drafted him, you know,
- 21:46Speaker 1: so I don't know. I don't, I don't think it's
- 21:49Speaker 1: fool's gold. I'm not saying that they're great, but I
- 21:51Speaker 1: don't think like them being three and one, I don't think.
- 21:54Speaker 2: That's fool's gold. I don't either. I don't either. Um, But, again,
- 22:01Speaker 2: we are at the point of the year where people,
- 22:04Speaker 2: you don't truly know who the teams are. There's only
- 22:06Speaker 2: a handful that you truly, truly, truly know that they're
- 22:10Speaker 2: really good. And the Vikings, to me, fall in that category.
- 22:14Speaker 2: You don't truly know yet. We know they're good. I
- 22:18Speaker 2: don't know if they're undefeated good, though.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:22Speaker 2: And obviously the record is now. But, like, eight, nine,
- 22:25Speaker 2: ten games into the season, I think they'll have a
- 22:27Speaker 2: couple of losses. Because, again, their defense is good, but
- 22:30Speaker 2: they're going to get got. At some point. Brian Flores
- 22:34Speaker 2: is good, but he's not the greatest to ever do it.
- 22:39Speaker 2: And yet.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Yeah. I didn't have the Browns and the Jets being
- 22:46Speaker 1: the game that we stopped on, but here we are.
- 22:49Speaker 2: It's just like the logos are so just booty cheeks
- 22:53Speaker 2: when you look at it. Yeah. And then, but you
- 22:55Speaker 2: kind of, the Browns are forcing you to talk about them. Commanders,
- 22:59Speaker 2: how about it?
- 23:01Speaker 1: Jaden coming back.
- 23:02Speaker 3: J.D.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Coming back without his top two receivers, though, right?
- 23:06Speaker 1: I don't know if that's official yet, but it looks
- 23:08Speaker 1: that way. So you've got the Giants and Commanders. Washington
- 23:11Speaker 1: a three-and-a-half point favorite at home.
- 23:13Speaker 2: I don't know, man.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Are the Giants fool's gold? Are the Giants good? Kind
- 23:19Speaker 1: of the same conversation that we just had about the Browns.
- 23:21Speaker 2: No. So you say no.
- 23:24Speaker 1: No.
- 23:25Speaker 2: You like the Commanders? I think that's... I think that's
- 23:31Speaker 2: the game. And the Giants, if Jackson Dart was still playing,
- 23:38Speaker 2: we would be talking about the Giants running away with
- 23:40Speaker 2: that division.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Like, running away with it. Because they're a good football team.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:45Speaker 2: But I don't think Jameis, like, Jameis is Jameis. We
- 23:48Speaker 2: know who Jameis is. He's going to, there's going to
- 23:50Speaker 2: be one game he throws for 350 yards. There's going
- 23:52Speaker 2: to be one game he throws for 85 and four picks. Yeah.
- 23:56Speaker 2: That's what Jameis is. I love Jameis. He's great. I
- 23:59Speaker 2: cannot wait. He's on TV, and I get to watch
- 24:01Speaker 2: him talk and his personality every single week. That's going
- 24:04Speaker 2: to be awesome. It's going to be electric. They're not
- 24:08Speaker 2: serious contenders, though, without their starting quarterback. Nobody. I mean,
- 24:11Speaker 2: who is? I don't know of any team. They got nine.
- 24:18Speaker 2: That's true. I'm ready for it. No, he's nine times
- 24:20Speaker 2: two now. That's true. 18.
- 24:22Speaker 4: Touche.
- 24:25Speaker 2: They give that to the leader of the team.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 24:27Speaker 2: I think the Commanders are in a good spot.
- 24:28Speaker 1: I think the Commanders, I know they're favorite, but I
- 24:30Speaker 1: think they win the game.
- 24:31Speaker 4: I do, too.
- 24:32Speaker 2: I like the Commanders. Jay Daniels is going to have
- 24:35Speaker 2: the biggest, stiffest, most metal you've ever seen on his elbow.
- 24:40Speaker 2: He's going to look like Gronk. He's going to look
- 24:42Speaker 2: like Gronk. He's going to, I don't know. I don't
- 24:45Speaker 2: know what you do. You latch it to his hand
- 24:47Speaker 2: to where your elbow's not even allowed to go straight.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Right.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Right. Just don't get hurt. Just come on, man. Stay healthy.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Don't land on your hand. Don't brace yourself with your
- 24:59Speaker 2: hand because you know that elbow is going to go backwards.
- 25:02Speaker 1: In a game, and so we picked games yesterday, in
- 25:04Speaker 1: a game that's very, very, very difficult for me to pick,
- 25:08Speaker 1: the Indianapolis Colts and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers two
- 25:11Speaker 1: and a half point favorite in this one.
- 25:14Speaker 2: This one's tough.
- 25:15Speaker 1: I don't really know. Both teams have had good moments.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Both teams have had bad moments. I'm not really sure.
- 25:21Speaker 2: You say this Colt Steelers? Colt Steelers, yeah. Both teams 2-2.
- 25:27Speaker 2: I think, man, I'm cheering hard for the Steelers. You
- 25:30Speaker 2: know that. Yeah, I know. They've had opportunities. I just
- 25:36Speaker 2: need Aaron and Mike to just stop yelling at each other.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Come on, Aaron. Give it up. Give it a rest
- 25:43Speaker 2: on the field. I thought he was just whispering sweet
- 25:45Speaker 2: nothings to his old coach. You know, when you're comfortable
- 25:48Speaker 2: with somebody, sometimes you, you know, they feel your wrath
- 25:51Speaker 2: a little bit more than somebody you're not comfortable with,
- 25:53Speaker 2: you know? Fair. I got the Steelers.
- 25:58Speaker 1: That's a tough one.
- 26:00Speaker 2: I don't know. I got the Steelers.
- 26:02Speaker 1: I think I went with the Steelers on my pick.
- 26:04Speaker 2: I got the Steelers by 15. All right.
- 26:09Speaker 1: The Denver Broncos traveling to the L.A.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Chargers.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Denver, a three and a half point favorite. Sean Payton.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Traveling to who? Guess what he did. Took back play
- 26:18Speaker 2: calling duties. Yeah, I saw that. A couple of coaches did. Yeah.
- 26:23Speaker 2: D'Amico Ryans.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Well, when your back's up against the wall a little bit,
- 26:28Speaker 1: not to say like Sean's, I mean, Sean had a
- 26:30Speaker 1: hell of a run last year, but Sean's very prideful.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I think we all know that. He's taking back those
- 26:35Speaker 1: play calling duties for D'Amico Ryans. His back's firmly against
- 26:38Speaker 1: the wall after, you know, they started out winless there.
- 26:41Speaker 2: But when the head coach is doing that, It's not
- 26:44Speaker 2: great in the building. Yeah, it's not great in the building.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Now we've seen coaches do it and it's turned out successfully.
- 26:50Speaker 2: But if I was going to take back play calling duties,
- 26:52Speaker 2: I would definitely do it the week that we're playing
- 26:54Speaker 2: the Chargers. Fair. Because if you were going to do it,
- 26:57Speaker 2: you're going to win that game.
- 26:58Speaker 1: It's probably also fair.
- 27:00Speaker 2: So you're not going to take him back after a win.
- 27:03Speaker 2: So if you're going to do it, do it this week.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Have no rebuttal, sadly. All right.
- 27:09Speaker 1: The Detroit Lions traveling to the Arizona Cardinals. Detroit five
- 27:12Speaker 1: and a half. point favorite in this one. The over-under
- 27:16Speaker 1: on this game is 54-and-a-half. There's going to be some
- 27:21Speaker 1: points scored there, Bo.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Yeah, the Lions are bad-bad on defense. Cardinals are 1-and-3.
- 27:27Speaker 2: I don't really... I've seen the running game clips for
- 27:36Speaker 2: the Cardinals. I haven't really seen them do anything in
- 27:38Speaker 2: the passing game, though. I mean, Brissette, he's still... He's
- 27:41Speaker 2: still throwing it around. Okay, I see every clip of
- 27:44Speaker 2: Marvin Harrison Jr. dropping passes. Fair. Because people love to
- 27:48Speaker 2: hate on him. I don't understand that hate so much.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Is it just because he's overrated?
- 27:56Speaker 1: So I covered that draft, and there was so much
- 27:59Speaker 1: love for Marvin Harrison Jr. and, like, saying what he
- 28:02Speaker 1: was going to be. And there's a lot of people, like,
- 28:06Speaker 1: thought maybe it was a nepo baby situation so i
- 28:09Speaker 1: think it made a lot of people angry um anytime
- 28:13Speaker 1: that you said like you thought malik neighbors was a
- 28:15Speaker 1: better receiver than marvin harrison jr like people kind of
- 28:17Speaker 1: threw stones at you a little bit right so i
- 28:19Speaker 1: think some of it i can see that i think
- 28:21Speaker 1: this area of the country i think just anybody that
- 28:23Speaker 1: covered the draft so i think some of it comes
- 28:25Speaker 1: from that i think people love to hate on him
- 28:28Speaker 1: though i think because they were told like what he
- 28:31Speaker 1: was and what he was going to be like it
- 28:33Speaker 1: was a little force-fed to you at least that's like
- 28:37Speaker 1: That's how I felt. I went on radio and I
- 28:40Speaker 1: said Malik Neighbors is a better receiver than Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 28:42Speaker 2: And oh my God. Wait, are you talking about people's
- 28:44Speaker 2: opinions leading up to the draft is force fed? People
- 28:48Speaker 2: get force fed that stuff? Yes, I am.
- 28:51Speaker 1: And I do a lot of draft coverage, but I
- 28:54Speaker 1: know what you're saying. The Lions are going to win
- 28:59Speaker 1: that game. uh samsung school 49ers traveling to seattle take
- 29:03Speaker 1: on the seahawks seattle a three-point favorite and this one
- 29:05Speaker 1: game of the week for me sign me up for
- 29:07Speaker 1: that one i'll watch every single snap of that bad
- 29:10Speaker 1: boy yep is that flexed no uh no kyle use
- 29:14Speaker 1: check in that game that is going to be big
- 29:16Speaker 1: for the 49ers he is literally like a jack of
- 29:18Speaker 1: all trades type guy for that offense you want to
- 29:20Speaker 1: have a guy like that when you're playing against seattle
- 29:23Speaker 1: so that's going to be something.
- 29:24Speaker 2: To watch That's going to be a great game.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Because he's a fullback.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Are you shocked at the number here? Seattle minus three.
- 29:32Speaker 2: I know Seattle does enjoy a nice home field advantage
- 29:39Speaker 2: in that stadium. but as good as the 49ers have
- 29:43Speaker 2: looked now if it was yeah I'm a little shocked
- 29:47Speaker 2: actually as good as the 49ers have looked.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Right I don't even remember which way I think I
- 29:55Speaker 1: went Seahawks but I like basically flipped a coin in
- 29:57Speaker 1: my office yesterday as we were picking these games I.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Mean, the last two weeks haven't been great. They won.
- 30:05Speaker 2: They beat the Chargers, but they beat them 30 to 23.
- 30:07Speaker 2: They were up three scores in the game. And then
- 30:10Speaker 2: they lost the commanders with a backup quarterback. Yeah. So
- 30:14Speaker 2: they certainly hadn't been world beaters. So I think they're
- 30:16Speaker 2: getting a lot of credit right now for what they
- 30:19Speaker 2: did last year. Rightfully so.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Right.
- 30:22Speaker 2: They're getting some credit, a lot of credit for their
- 30:24Speaker 2: home field. But, I mean, you get three points, right,
- 30:27Speaker 2: if you're the home field team, usually, is how the
- 30:29Speaker 2: lines work. So they're saying this is a toss-up. This
- 30:31Speaker 2: is a pick-em game. I would take, if I'm betting this,
- 30:37Speaker 2: I'm taking the Niners with the points.
- 30:39Speaker 1: If we were playing what's the ticket in the NFL,
- 30:42Speaker 1: $ 301 to get two feet into the Seattle Seahawks Stadium. Lumenfield?
- 30:52Speaker 2: That sound right? That sounds right.
- 30:54Speaker 1: The Sunday night game is going to be the Baltimore Ravens.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Probably no Lamar Jackson against the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta a
- 31:00Speaker 1: three-point favorite in that game.
- 31:02Speaker 2: I actually don't hate that.
- 31:04Speaker 1: I mean, I think the Falcons, where they're going, if
- 31:06Speaker 1: there's no Lamar Jackson, then I don't hate that line
- 31:10Speaker 1: at all. The Buffalo Bills and the LA Rams on
- 31:13Speaker 1: Monday night. That's what I predicted the Super Bowl to
- 31:16Speaker 1: be before the season.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Still could happen.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Rams a three-point favorite in that game. three pretty good
- 31:26Speaker 1: games to end the week there. I'll take those.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Ravens-Falcons, that's going to be a fun one to watch.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Two of the best running backs in the league. Having
- 31:35Speaker 2: really good seasons. I'll be interested to see if Michael
- 31:39Speaker 2: Penix can keep up his pace. From what I saw,
- 31:42Speaker 2: and I go back and watch the highlights of Penix
- 31:44Speaker 2: playing against the Saints this past week, I saw a
- 31:47Speaker 2: quarterback play really well. And not just because it was
- 31:50Speaker 2: a running game, there's people wide open. I saw a
- 31:52Speaker 2: guy with Very calm feet thrown under under under duress.
- 31:57Speaker 2: People in his face making some very accurate throws over
- 32:00Speaker 2: linebackers in front of safeties. He made some real deal throws.
- 32:05Speaker 2: And it just wasn't because Bijan was going crazy and
- 32:07Speaker 2: there was guys wide open.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:09Speaker 2: He was dropping it in there, playing the quarterback position
- 32:12Speaker 2: really well.
- 32:12Speaker 1: He has changed the complete equation for that football team, unfortunately,
- 32:18Speaker 1: for Saints fans down here watching the Falcons play. All right,
- 32:21Speaker 1: that is the NFL slate this weekend. We'll come right
- 32:24Speaker 1: back your way live from Rouse's. It is OTB. Off
- 32:28Speaker 1: the bench. Off the bench. All right, go to centralplumbing.org, centralplumbing.org,
- 32:34Speaker 1: in Baton Rouge, in Lafayette. Remember, they are now expanding, right?
- 32:39Speaker 1: They've always been in Central. They've always been in the
- 32:41Speaker 1: greater Baton Rouge area since the 1970s, but now they
- 32:44Speaker 1: are in Lafayette, that surrounding area as well. And remember,
- 32:48Speaker 1: it's not only in emergencies. Certainly it is game day, weekend, holiday,
- 32:53Speaker 1: does not matter. They'll be there for you. If you're
- 32:55Speaker 1: looking to upgrade at your home, at your business, they
- 32:57Speaker 1: can come in. They can do that as well, centralplumbing.org.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Home or business. That's right, Bo. Residential or commercial.
- 33:02Speaker 1: That's what they call it.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Central Palm. And they're the best. Greater Baton Rouge area.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Greater Lafayette area. Give them a call. Whatever your need is.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Water lines, gas lines. They've done it for me. They
- 33:12Speaker 2: can do it for you. Talking of work at your house.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Maybe you want a tankless water heater. Maybe you never
- 33:16Speaker 2: want to run out of hot water again. You got kids.
- 33:19Speaker 2: You got to do the laundry. You got to wash clothes.
- 33:21Speaker 2: You got to wash the dishes. People got to take showers. Well,
- 33:24Speaker 2: you're never going to run out of hot water. You
- 33:26Speaker 2: give Central Plummet a call. And 24-7 emergency service. Go
- 33:29Speaker 2: to centralplummet.org.
- 33:31Speaker 5: But it's cold and it's cold and it's cold and
- 33:34Speaker 5: it's cold and it's cold. And I don't know, I'm alone,
- 33:41Speaker 5: I'm alone, I'm alone, I'm alone.
- 33:45Speaker 1: I hope you tell me that you're finding down, that
- 33:49Speaker 1: you lost.
- 33:50Speaker 5: A taste to face the crowd, that whatever made you
- 33:52Speaker 5: famous made you sick. Make it out and there ain't
- 34:00Speaker 5: no shame in calling this thing quits.
- 34:03Speaker 1: But you don't, you don't, you don't, you don't, you don't.
- 34:11Speaker 1: You're a ghost, you're a ghost, you're a ghost, you're
- 34:15Speaker 1: a ghost.
- 34:15Speaker 5: And your voice is spreading to my lungs. Hey, hold everything,
- 34:27Speaker 5: hold it in.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Hi, welcome back in.
- 34:31Speaker 1: OTB here live from Rouse's on Burbank and Lee. Where
- 34:38Speaker 1: Matthew Clayton Flynn is taking full advantage of the old
- 34:41Speaker 1: breakfast bar. He is picking them up and putting them down. No,
- 34:45Speaker 1: not his feet and running. I'm talking about his hand
- 34:47Speaker 1: to fork going quickly to his mouth. So I'll let
- 34:51Speaker 1: you finish chewing. As I tell the great people about
- 34:55Speaker 1: Tommy's Windows doors and siding, gotommys.com.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Is the website.
- 35:00Speaker 1: G-E-A-U-X. Remember, when you go to the website, you will
- 35:04Speaker 1: clearly see the difference, the award-winning difference. It's bestwindows.com. In
- 35:09Speaker 1: the Advocate a year ago, well, we all know that
- 35:11Speaker 1: went to Tommy's Windows, Doors, and Siding. They stack awards
- 35:14Speaker 1: up there, but they have incredible customer service. My man
- 35:17Speaker 1: Tommy was a member of the Golden Band from Tigerland, right?
- 35:20Speaker 1: That's what brought him down here to Louisiana. He is
- 35:22Speaker 1: so prideful about Baton Rouge. He's prideful about his work,
- 35:25Speaker 1: and he's going to do that with incredible customer service. Again,
- 35:28Speaker 1: go to G-E-A-U-X, Tommy's, with a Y,. com. Go Tommy's.com.
- 35:33Speaker 1: How are we doing over there, Bolt?
- 35:38Speaker 2: Oh, dude. Great. Scarfing. You had a little spill there
- 35:42Speaker 2: as well. Hash browns are electric. Now, these styrofoam plates,
- 35:46Speaker 2: a little top heavy. You get a little bit more balance.
- 35:52Speaker 1: If you'd settle down a little bit, I don't think
- 35:54Speaker 1: you would have had the tumble that you had.
- 35:55Speaker 2: We got a little eggs on the table. It's fine.
- 35:59Speaker 2: We cleaned it up. That's what napkins are for. We, huh? Yep.
- 36:04Speaker 3: We.
- 36:06Speaker 2: These hash browns are good today. A little different variety
- 36:08Speaker 2: than they were last week. How's that? I don't know.
- 36:14Speaker 2: They're just different, man.
- 36:16Speaker 1: If you want to have a little breakfast bar, you
- 36:18Speaker 1: can come hang out with us. We'll be here until
- 36:19Speaker 1: 10 o'clock. We've already had a couple of people stop
- 36:21Speaker 1: by and say they were here for the breakfast bar.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Actually waiting for the breakfast bar to be put out.
- 36:25Speaker 1: They were early risers. They were here like first segment.
- 36:27Speaker 2: Mm-hmm. We had a couple last week show up and
- 36:31Speaker 2: get breakfast bar and sushi. I know.
- 36:32Speaker 1: That was an elite veteran move. I think they actually, like,
- 36:35Speaker 1: switched plates as well, like, halfway through.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 36:38Speaker 4: I know.
- 36:39Speaker 1: And, no, that was not Cassie that was sitting there
- 36:41Speaker 1: waiting on the breakfast bar. There's an establishment that she
- 36:44Speaker 1: goes to that's pretty close by here.
- 36:47Speaker 3: Oh, boy.
- 36:47Speaker 2: She probably already been to for their breakfast. No doubt.
- 36:51Speaker 1: She's not confirming or denying said breakfast spot.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Cassie, besides Sunday, what's the last day you didn't go?
- 37:00Speaker 2: To your favorite place. Oh, she's going today. She said
- 37:04Speaker 2: she's going today. Did you go yesterday? No. No? Were
- 37:09Speaker 2: you sick?
- 37:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Adam's sick? It's been more than a week. Oh, wow.
- 37:15Speaker 2: I don't know if I believe that. How many reward
- 37:20Speaker 2: points do you have? Over a million, I think. Yeah.
- 37:24Speaker 1: I don't think you want to see that lifetime number. Uh-oh.
- 37:27Speaker 2: I don't think you want to see that.
- 37:30Speaker 1: I can never keep them because I always use them.
- 37:33Speaker 2: She probably never signed up because she didn't want to
- 37:34Speaker 2: have the history. Yeah. Smart. I get it.
- 37:39Speaker 1: She's got 7,000 current points right now.
- 37:43Speaker 2: Use them. My God. How many free fries can you get?
- 37:46Speaker 2: All of them.
- 37:47Speaker 1: The whole bucket.
- 37:48Speaker 2: They just drop it in there. Holy cow, Cassie. 7,000?
- 37:51Speaker 1: That's like three whole meals for the Hester family.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Can't hide it, Cassie. Can't hide it.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Can't hide money. Can't hide Chick-fil-A points.
- 38:02Speaker 2: My God. I don't like that. What? What are you
- 38:11Speaker 2: goofing about over there? Oh, I was just looking at,
- 38:13Speaker 2: you know, keep getting fed the hurricane track.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Everybody keeps telling me that it's not supposed to be
- 38:20Speaker 1: as bad as we thought it was going to be.
- 38:23Speaker 1: I feel like you're trying to fear-monger me a little bit. Me?
- 38:26Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm not trying to fear-monger anything.
- 38:28Speaker 1: I feel like that's what it is.
- 38:29Speaker 2: I don't love it. I don't love it.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Because, obviously, like there's other games that are going to
- 38:35Speaker 1: be closer to source and we're trying to figure out
- 38:38Speaker 1: like what the weather is going to be for those
- 38:39Speaker 1: games but i'm trying to look at what it's going
- 38:41Speaker 1: to be for lexington kentucky.
- 38:48Speaker 2: I think it's safe to assume there's going to be
- 38:49Speaker 2: some rain throughout the day uh now whether that comes
- 38:53Speaker 2: on at game time before kickoff i we'll never know
- 39:00Speaker 2: never know till it happens those things always like slow
- 39:02Speaker 2: down and speed up and You never know what's going
- 39:05Speaker 2: to happen once it hits landfall.
- 39:07Speaker 1: I'm looking right now. So at kickoff, it is supposed
- 39:12Speaker 1: to rain. It's going to be 63 degrees, though.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Oh, that's nice.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Feels like 57.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Hell yeah, brother. Football. 24 mile per hour winds, though.
- 39:28Speaker 2: What does wind do? I always love having you here. No,
- 39:32Speaker 2: you don't. No, you don't. No, I meant for, like,
- 39:34Speaker 2: conversations like this. Not always, like, always, always. Come on,
- 39:37Speaker 2: this is going to be ridiculous. Yeah. Wind.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Like, I always hear quarterbacks, like, they're like, yeah, rain, snow.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Like, none of it's fun. But, like, if you get wind,
- 39:46Speaker 2: that's a wrap. Wind stinks.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Why?
- 39:49Speaker 2: Why? Because it's hard to cut the ball through wind. Now,
- 39:54Speaker 2: it depends. I mean, of course, throwing into the wind
- 39:57Speaker 2: stinks because you– It knocks the ball down. You can't
- 40:02Speaker 2: throw it as far. But going downwind, it's just as challenging.
- 40:06Speaker 2: It's in a completely different way. You just have to
- 40:09Speaker 2: get used to it. You have to throw a tight spiral.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Like you can't get away with a little bit of
- 40:14Speaker 2: a wobbler because the more surface area you present to
- 40:17Speaker 2: the wind, the more it will herd it and affect it.
- 40:19Speaker 2: The more you, the more centrifugal force, the more spin
- 40:24Speaker 2: you can create on the ball, the more it'll cut
- 40:26Speaker 2: through the wind. So People with really good arm talent
- 40:29Speaker 2: that spin the ball really well, they're better in wind
- 40:32Speaker 2: than people that aren't. There's all types of quarterbacks. There's
- 40:38Speaker 2: quarterbacks in the NFL that don't throw the prettiest ball ever.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Joe Burrow, for example, he's not the tightest spiral thrower
- 40:43Speaker 2: all the time. Now, of course, he throws tight spirals.
- 40:46Speaker 2: Don't get me wrong. Peyton Manning. Peyton Manning. I saw
- 40:49Speaker 2: him play as a rookie in Lambeau, and I was like,
- 40:53Speaker 2: this is Peyton Manning? He can't throw a spiral. I
- 40:57Speaker 2: did throw four picks that game, but that wasn't his
- 41:00Speaker 2: best game. Wasn't his best outing. But then you got
- 41:03Speaker 2: guys like Aaron. You got guys like Caleb that just
- 41:08Speaker 2: spin it really well. They're usually better in wind like that.
- 41:12Speaker 2: So 24 miles or something. I mean, that's like sustained wind.
- 41:14Speaker 2: That's a pretty heavy, heavy wind. So I still like
- 41:22Speaker 2: Kentucky dinks and dunks, right? But then they'll like to
- 41:25Speaker 2: take their deep shot. I feel like they've probably taken
- 41:27Speaker 2: more deep shots down the field than LSU maybe throughout
- 41:32Speaker 2: this year, throughout this season. But any inclement weather, whether
- 41:37Speaker 2: it's rain, whether it's tons of wind, whatever it is,
- 41:40Speaker 2: I still like LSU's matchup and ability to be able
- 41:42Speaker 2: to run the ball against Kentucky's defense more so than
- 41:45Speaker 2: I like Kentucky's ability to run or really do anything
- 41:47Speaker 2: versus LSU's defense.
- 41:50Speaker 1: All right, we will take a break. Coming up here
- 41:52Speaker 1: in a couple of minutes, we do have What's the Ticket?
- 41:55Speaker 1: We've got our pontoon parlay. We've got our last look
- 41:59Speaker 1: and predictions for LSU Kentucky and for Minnesota and New Orleans.

- 43:24Speaker 5: You act like we just sit up here and wait
- 43:26Speaker 5: for you to reappear. But, baby, there are bills to
- 43:30Speaker 5: pay and your dad's rolling salt. And I try to
- 43:33Speaker 5: drown out all the talk, the eyeballs in the parking lots.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Tell people it ain't me you want, but I guess.
- 43:39Speaker 2: You're my fault. You're a ghost, you're a ghost, you're
- 43:42Speaker 2: a ghost, you're a ghost. All right, welcome back in.
- 43:45Speaker 1: OTB here live from Rouse's on Burbank and Lee. You know,
- 43:51Speaker 1: the old pontoon parlay is going to be a pretty
- 43:54Speaker 1: difficult one to do this weekend, Matthew.
- 43:56Speaker 2: There is. Not for me. What's that mean? I'm going
- 44:02Speaker 2: to nail it. I don't like that.
- 44:04Speaker 1: You hadn't won since Moby Dick was a minnow.
- 44:06Speaker 2: It's been a couple weeks. What's going to be different
- 44:10Speaker 2: this week? I'm going to pick a winner. I'm going
- 44:16Speaker 2: to do it confidently.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Okay. Do you expect to see a big upset in
- 44:23Speaker 1: college football this weekend? Hmm. Looks like we've had one
- 44:27Speaker 1: every weekend.
- 44:31Speaker 2: Maybe. Would UCF over Oklahoma State be an upset? On paper.
- 44:35Speaker 2: On paper it would be.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, Oklahoma State's a ten-and-a-half point favorite in
- 44:38Speaker 1: that game.
- 44:39Speaker 2: North Carolina over Pitt? Would that be an upset?
- 44:43Speaker 1: No. What about Iowa State over BYU? BYU. BYU's number
- 44:49Speaker 1: eight in the country.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Yeah, that would be an upset. I'll be darned. Yeah.
- 44:55Speaker 2: That one, that one. I mean, BYU's top running back.
- 44:59Speaker 1: They're top running backs out.
- 45:02Speaker 2: What about Oklahoma over Texas?
- 45:04Speaker 1: Can Oklahoma find enough offense to score three points to
- 45:08Speaker 1: win a game?
- 45:08Speaker 2: That would be a fun one to choose just because
- 45:12Speaker 2: of the Red River and the Games like that, you
- 45:15Speaker 2: just never really know. It doesn't matter how good or
- 45:17Speaker 2: bad a team is. Usually that game is close, but, golly,
- 45:23Speaker 2: looking at the body of work that Oklahoma's put out there,
- 45:26Speaker 2: I just don't see how they can make it close. Now,
- 45:28Speaker 2: Texas plays close games every single week, so I hope
- 45:31Speaker 2: that one's close, and I hope Oklahoma can find a way.
- 45:33Speaker 1: All right, when we come back, we're going to have
- 45:36Speaker 1: What's the Ticket?
- 45:37Speaker 2: Right here on OTB. Off the bench, off the bench.
- 45:43Speaker 1: All right, go to PalaGroup.com. That is P-A-L-A Group.com. Now, remember,
