- 0:03access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing genuine
- 0:07issues. Brought to you by the
- 0:10hypnotherapist, demanded by celebrities, CEOs and even
- 0:14royalty. Adam Cox.
- 0:16These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:19world famous Harley Street. This podcast features powerful
- 0:23hypnosis, so do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
- 0:27This recording is not suitable for those with epilepsy or
- 0:30severe mental health issues, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:34enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:40Hi. It's Adam here and in this
- 0:42episode of The Hypnotist. You can be listening to a
- 0:46hypnosis session created for a. Client that.
- 0:50Wanted to stop vaping and they had.
- 0:55Smoked in the past. They'd quit and.
- 0:59They had. Started vaping after a holiday
- 1:02and then it. Was just.
- 1:04Becoming a compulsion habit they couldn't break.
- 1:08And what was frustrating for them is that they actually
- 1:11worked in the health and Wellness industry, and there was
- 1:15a feeling that they weren't really aligning with what they
- 1:20considered themselves at their most highest level of integrity.
- 1:25And there was a slight fear. Of losing.
- 1:28Credibility with clients and from my perspective, I'm always
- 1:33looking for emotional leverage to create change.
- 1:38Change doesn't happen by itself. You need a an element of
- 1:42leverage, you need a payoff of changing, and you need a
- 1:46consequence of not changing in order for the change to become
- 1:52easier. And you can call that creating
- 1:55leverage, or inciting motivational change, or bringing
- 1:59someone to the point of threshold.
- 2:01It all means the same thing. It effectively means in getting
- 2:04someone to the place where the change becomes instant.
- 2:09And there was a few things for this particular client that I
- 2:12knew I could create emotional leverage. 1 was the fact that
- 2:17they were concerned about their integrity and how their clients
- 2:22would perceive them. Secondly, they wanted to.
- 2:25Be a positive. Role model for particularly
- 2:29their child. And then the third thing was
- 2:32that I knew that they had a polarity response to their
- 2:37mother that actually their mother was someone that would
- 2:40always belittle or criticize them and that would create a
- 2:44polarity response of proving that person wrong.
- 2:49So what you're going to hear in this particular hypnosis session
- 2:51is utilizing all three of those elements of emotional leverage
- 2:57and then future pacing that so they can.
- 3:00See that? The change was long term rather
- 3:03than a short term change. If you're listening to this and
- 3:08you have a habit that you want to break or a change that you
- 3:10want to make and you think that I might be the right person to
- 3:14help you create that change, there will be a link in the show
- 3:17notes. Or you can check out
- 3:20adamcox.co.uk and on my website. There you can book a free 30
- 3:24minute consultation call on Zoom and we can have a chat to see if
- 3:27I'm the right person to work with you.
- 3:30For now though, find a quiet, comfortable place where you
- 3:33won't be disturbed. Relax and enjoy the session.
- 4:18Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe in, breathe in a
- 4:30slow, relaxing, comfortable breath.
- 4:36As you breathe in, feel that relaxation going in through your
- 4:39nose into your lungs, and as you exhale, feel a wonderful sense
- 4:49of release. But somehow tension, stress, or
- 4:55worries just feels like it's leaving your body in that
- 5:03outward breath. Notice the deeper you breathe,
- 5:10the more relaxed you feel. Just imagine a bright white
- 5:17healing light, a light of infinite resources where
- 5:24anything is possible. Imagine breathing in that bright
- 5:29white light in through your nose, filling your lungs, and
- 5:33imagine this white light healing your lungs and allow your heart
- 5:38to distribute this wonderful feeling of resourcefulness to
- 5:44every cell in your body. And as you exhale, just imagine
- 5:51that anything you've been holding on to that is not
- 5:55useful, that is causing stress or tension or even just
- 6:03incongruency, is melting away. And imagine it leaving your body
- 6:10in your outward breath as a dark shadowy colour, breathing in
- 6:19bright white light, exhaling shadows as it feels, just by
- 6:26breathing in and breathing out a transfusion of emotions,
- 6:33enabling you to feel deeper and deeper, relaxed.
- 6:44And I want you to use the power of your imagination to imagine
- 6:50finding a photograph of a beach, maybe a beach you've been to.
- 6:59A photograph could be printed or on a screen and just stare into
- 7:10the image of the beach. See the beach on a sunny day
- 7:16with blue skies, perhaps golden sands or white sands, calm
- 7:23waters. And when you could imagine an
- 7:27image of a beach, let me know by nodding your head.
- 7:33And then as you breathe in and breathe out, just imagine
- 7:35stepping into the image and wearing whatever clothing is
- 7:40suitable to be on that beach. Just imagine what it would feel
- 7:48like to feel the warmth of the sun on your skin.
- 7:57Imagine how it would feel to feel the sand beneath your feet,
- 8:07and maybe you could imagine hearing the gentle breaking of
- 8:13the waves. Just imagine being on that
- 8:18beach, sunny day, a few fluffy white clouds, feeling that
- 8:26you're away from it all. Nothing to do, nothing to think
- 8:31of. Just a place to be.
- 8:34A place within your imagination where anything is possible
- 8:38because it isn't real. It's just a place where you're
- 8:42going to create a change, to leave something behind that
- 8:49isn't serving you anyway so you can move forward, living a life
- 8:56aligned with your highest values.
- 9:01I want you to imagine somewhere on this beach, this private
- 9:04beach is a lounger that overlooks the sea, looking out
- 9:11over the waters to the horizon where the sky meets the sea.
- 9:17A comfortable lounger. And imagine placing yourself on
- 9:22this lounger the moment you lie down.
- 9:27Feel like you're letting go of any tension, any stress, any
- 9:32worries. Breathe in this vibrant white
- 9:38light, healing your body from the inside and exhaling anything
- 9:44that is holding you back. As I countdown from 5:00 to
- 9:501:00, just imagine drifting off to a dream like sleep there on
- 9:54that lounger, and maybe you can recall the time in your past
- 10:00where you've done that. You've had a nap on a beach and
- 10:04you've drifted off and had the best nap of your life.
- 10:10So 5, just allow all of the tension in your face to be
- 10:13released, eyelids, forehead and jaw.
- 10:17Just release that tension now and then four, focus your
- 10:24attention on the muscles in your neck and your shoulders.
- 10:28And as you breathe in that relaxation, just allow any
- 10:33tension, any stress in your neck and shoulders to just melt away.
- 10:38Now four becomes 3 and just feel your arms and legs of feeling
- 10:44limp, loose and heavy. They're on that lounge or on
- 10:46that beach, enabling you to feel so, so relaxed.
- 10:53And then two, just imagine that healing white light relaxing all
- 10:57of your internal organs, your lungs, your heart, your stomach,
- 11:02all the way down into your gut. Just feel so relaxed now And
- 11:09then one feel a wave of relaxation going from the top of
- 11:15your head all the way down to the tips of your toes, all the
- 11:17way back up and down to the tips of your fingers as you imagine
- 11:22what it would feel like to drift off into a dreamlike sleep.
- 11:28And I want you to imagine drifting off to a place.
- 11:35A place in your present where you have an unexpected visitor,
- 11:42someone from your past, perhaps your mother.
- 11:46Imagine being in your own home and there's a knock on the door,
- 11:53and just imagine this person from your past arrives at the
- 12:00very point where you have a vape in your hands.
- 12:06I want you to see the expression of satisfaction, of
- 12:11righteousness as this person recognises.
- 12:18Perhaps, perhaps a chink in your armour, something they can
- 12:24attack you with. Maybe they know you work in
- 12:28health and Wellness and yet here you are vaping.
- 12:33I want you to hear that specific tone, perhaps a mocking or
- 12:38critical tone. Perhaps you can imagine a
- 12:43specific place where you would normally vape and hear this
- 12:47person telling you how you will never be able to quit this, that
- 12:55you're a fraud, a fake, a hypocrite.
- 13:00Hear the Glee, the satisfaction, the joy in their tonality and
- 13:08notice the more they tell you that you can't quit this thing,
- 13:14the more that it activates a deep part of your subconscious
- 13:17mind that time and time again has proven them wrong.
- 13:26Imagine exactly what they would say to criticize, to tell you
- 13:30what you can't do. And when it gets to the point
- 13:32where something has been awakened, something that is
- 13:44desperate to prove that person wrong, when that part awakens,
- 13:49let me know by nodding your head.
- 14:06Just allow them to keep laughing and mocking, saying the very
- 14:11things as to what you can't do. And maybe, maybe they tell you
- 14:24what a bad role model you are for your daughter, that your
- 14:29client shouldn't trust you. And the more they say it, the
- 14:37more you would love to prove them wrong.
- 14:40And when you reach that point of resolve, let me know by nodding
- 14:46your head. And I want you to smile knowing
- 14:57you've unlocked the resources you need and tell them.
- 15:02Tell them they can come back at any point in time because it
- 15:06doesn't matter. When they come back, you won't
- 15:10be vaping anymore and hear their response.
- 15:17And their response is you'll fail.
- 15:21You'll try for a few days, you won't be able to stick to it.
- 15:24And notice The more they tell you you can't, the more you feel
- 15:30this resolve to prove them wrong.
- 15:36Imagine they leave and then imagine going to perhaps a room
- 15:42that you would do a Zoom call with clients.
- 15:50I want you to imagine seeing a grid on the screen filled with
- 15:54the faces that you recognise, people that trust your
- 15:59credibility, your expertise, people that know how much
- 16:04knowledge you have on health and well-being and just see a vape
- 16:12by the side of the screen. And just imagine following a
- 16:17sentence that is impactful and empowering you.
- 16:23Imagine picking up the vape in the way you normally would and
- 16:28vaping on screen where all of your clients can see.
- 16:34Notice their expressions, maybe surprise or shock or confusion.
- 16:43Maybe one thinks it's a prank and see the penny drop as some
- 16:49of them make the evaluation of incongruence of someone that
- 16:58does not walk their talk. And notice that when you make
- 17:05the evaluation, that they're making the evaluation.
- 17:07It feels that the should is turning into a must.
- 17:17That the straw is breaking the camel's back.
- 17:21That just because you can doesn't mean you will.
- 17:25And if it reaches that point where you are committed to no
- 17:31longer vaping again, let me know if I'm nodding your head.
- 17:43That's it. Just allow that new identity to
- 17:47start calibrating with with who you are.
- 17:51And just imagine the next few days what it would be like
- 17:54throwing away a vape. Just imagine that for the next
- 18:00few days and weeks you were lying with being someone that
- 18:05vaped for a while but decided it wasn't for you.
- 18:10That you were lying with someone that just doesn't want to do
- 18:15that anymore. And imagine telling yourself
- 18:20that to test if this is an addiction or just a bad habit
- 18:27that's easy to break. Tell yourself that the price for
- 18:31admission now, if you ever decide to vape in the future, is
- 18:38that whenever you feel the urge to vape, you'd hold your thumb
- 18:43up to your nose and wiggle your fingers like you're making a
- 18:46face. The kind of face that a 5 year
- 18:49old makes to someone else in the playground that they're being
- 18:53cheeky to. And while it's fine for a 5 year
- 18:58old, you might feel silly doing that at your age.
- 19:02But if it. Was truly an addiction.
- 19:05You'd be happy to do that whenever you felt that urge
- 19:09because that would be the most important thing.
- 19:16If you could imagine that that's the price of admission for you
- 19:20vaping again, you might find that desire never actually
- 19:26appears and go forward in time. And imagine it's been a year of
- 19:33you not vaping. Imagine you've found new ways of
- 19:42connecting with yourself, new outlets that are empowering that
- 19:48have nothing to do with food, nicotine or vaping.
- 19:53You've found a way to connect with yourself or reward
- 19:56yourself. That is empowering.
- 20:00Beneficial, perhaps even inspiring maybe to your daughter
- 20:08or someone in the past. And imagine it's been a year or
- 20:12two years in the future and just imagine seeing that someone else
- 20:17that you know, vapes is telling you that they've stopped and
- 20:20that you were the inspiration for it.
- 20:24Feel that sense of pride. Feel the emotion that comes from
- 20:30you shaping someone's life, not from what you said, but from
- 20:35what you did. And if that feels like a
- 20:39wonderful feeling, let me know. By nodding your head, I want you
- 20:46to get a sense that you are planting a seed in your
- 20:48subconscious mind that this isn't about being someone you're
- 20:53not. This is about being someone
- 20:56you're proud to be, where you walk your talk full of integrity
- 21:01that you feel aligned with who you really are.
- 21:07And just imagine yourself a year from now talking on stages, see
- 21:13yourself activating a new level that comes from this alignment
- 21:18that comes from this integrity that comes from activating a
- 21:22powerful resource inside you, not to prove anyone wrong, but
- 21:27just to be the best version you can be.
- 21:32Imagine that future where anything is possible and it
- 21:37starts today. And if you're ready to commit to
- 21:41being this new identity that doesn't need to vape, doesn't
- 21:45want to vape, has no desire for anything with nicotine, anything
- 21:52based on this short term gratification that you inhale.
- 21:55Let me know by nodding your head and then imagine leaving that
- 22:02home and finding yourself back there on a beach.
- 22:08Imagine leaving the lounger and as you leave the lounger and
- 22:12walk along the beach where the sand meets the sea, feel the
- 22:15coolness of the. Water on your.
- 22:17Toes feel you are a non vapour. You have no desire to vape.
- 22:25You are you and proud to be you. And when you return to the
- 22:34present, you return to the present as a non vapor.
- 22:38Someone committed to throwing away any old vapes.
- 22:46So take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your
- 22:51nose. Wiggle your fingers and wiggle
- 22:54your toes. Imagine stepping back through
- 22:58the picture of the beach, back into the here and now as I count
- 23:01from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 23:03You will awaken feeling resourceful, a line full of
- 23:07integrity and committed to the very best version of you.
- 23:12Starting to count. 123 Waking up. 456.
- 23:16More alert. 7-8. Open your eyes, Open your eyes.
- 23:20910. Wide awake, wide awake, wide
