- 3:07Speaker 2: job doing the ad read. Yes, sir. Without looking at it. Yes, sir.
- 3:09Speaker 2: It's been a big thing for you for 10 weeks.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Incredible work there. This Ford leaderboard segment is brought to
- 3:14Speaker 2: you by Ford. A hard day's work starts with one thing.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Someone willing to do it. And where there's a will,
- 3:20Speaker 2: there's a Ford F-Series truck. Let's quickly just take a
- 3:23Speaker 2: look at the Ford leaderboard.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Quickly take a look at that because obviously this is
- 3:28Speaker 1: not the main topic.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Of conversation at the beginning of this show. I never
- 3:32Speaker 2: know what this is. What Josh did. Three negatives in
- 3:35Speaker 2: a row. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Yeah, no, you're right. Oh, wait, that's...
- 3:38Speaker 2: Can you zoom in? Can you just zoom in? Nets
- 3:41Speaker 2: on the right. Last week's on the left. Yeah. Wait,
- 3:44Speaker 2: I'm net negative?
- 3:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:46Speaker 2: You've been climbing out of hell. You had a good
- 3:49Speaker 2: week last week. You're almost at even. Two terrible weeks
- 3:52Speaker 2: in a row. Negative 10, negative 12. You lost 22
- 3:56Speaker 2: over two weeks. Ah. But big bounce back week last week.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Big bounce back. Yep, needed that. You know what killed me?
- 4:02Speaker 2: Not hitting my parlay. Michigan minus nine and a half. Dumb. Who.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Who would have ever thought that they wouldn't beat Rutgers
- 4:09Speaker 1: by nine and a half points?
- 4:10Speaker 2: And then Ohio State. Yeah, Ohio State let us all down.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Slap the table. Slap the table. It was a double
- 4:16Speaker 2: slap the table. Did you slap the table on Ohio State? No.
- 4:18Speaker 2: What did you slap the table on? Houston. I don't
- 4:22Speaker 2: want to talk about that. Let's move on. Okay, so yeah, yeah.
- 4:24Speaker 2: You did bad too. Okay. Hey, they're striking distance across
- 4:28Speaker 2: the board. Weren't you up like 40 units at one point, Josh?
- 4:32Speaker 2: He was up 40. Listen. And when he rubbed in
- 4:35Speaker 2: somebody's face, he's just went down. That's what I was
- 4:37Speaker 2: going to say. The minute you spoke to the haters.
- 4:39Speaker 2: It's like the price is right. They're clapping. They're loving this.
- 4:42Speaker 2: The yodeling price is right. And now you're just falling
- 4:45Speaker 2: off a cliff, man.
- 4:46Speaker 4: The way I like to look at it is, first off,
- 4:49Speaker 4: not to take flack from someone who's underwater right now.
- 4:51Speaker 2: I will not take criticism from that person. Swing away, dude.
- 4:56Speaker 4: The way I love to think about it is I
- 4:58Speaker 4: picture myself in week zero looking ahead to week 10.
- 5:01Speaker 4: And if I tell myself in week zero, buddy, you're
- 5:03Speaker 4: going to be up nearly 18.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Units in week 10. That's a great year. I don't
- 5:07Speaker 2: need to know that I was up 40 units in
- 5:09Speaker 2: week six. That's totally irrelevant.
- 5:11Speaker 4: I don't need to know that some people waited until
- 5:13Speaker 4: week seven to start following me, and now they're probably
- 5:15Speaker 4: destitute out on the street.
- 5:17Speaker 2: That's irrelevant to me. I'm looking ahead. Tear the rearview
- 5:19Speaker 2: mirror off.
- 5:20Speaker 4: I'm looking ahead to a volcanic Saturday, possibly the biggest
- 5:23Speaker 4: Saturday of the modern era.
- 5:25Speaker 1: I will say when he was up over 40 units,
- 5:29Speaker 1: I sat down and Josh goes, I've already paid for Christmas.
- 5:34Speaker 2: I think the words 80 units is within range were
- 5:39Speaker 2: words that came.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Out of my mouth.
- 5:40Speaker 2: It was in range though. Yeah. At a time. And
- 5:42Speaker 2: you keep swinging. Who says you can't get back up there?
- 5:45Speaker 2: One parlay. One parlay away. That's all you need, man.
- 5:48Speaker 1: We just need a tight race at the end of
- 5:50Speaker 1: the year, just like last year. We just don't want
- 5:52Speaker 1: somebody to run away with this thing.
- 5:53Speaker 2: We don't want that. We don't want that. The last
- 5:55Speaker 2: thing I want to do is win this handily. Yeah.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Can I say how wonderful of a country we have?
- 6:01Speaker 1: Our country is so amazing that last night I go
- 6:04Speaker 1: to get on Twitter and I see people talking about
- 6:06Speaker 1: how the world is ending. And I thought they were
- 6:10Speaker 1: talking about college football. They were talking about the midterms
- 6:11Speaker 1: as well. But how beautiful is it that you can
- 6:13Speaker 1: get that messed up in this day and age because
- 6:15Speaker 1: of this college football bracket that took place, huh?
- 6:17Speaker 2: Let's take a peek at that.
- 6:20Speaker 5: Take a little. What a world for 24.
- 6:31Speaker 2: I just. 2014 playoffs.
- 6:32Speaker 4: I woke up this morning and I said, the world
- 6:35Speaker 4: changed last night.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it did.
- 6:37Speaker 4: And I know some people don't want us to talk
- 6:39Speaker 4: about that on a sports show, but we got to
- 6:41Speaker 4: talk about it.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Notre Dame's number 11. Notre Dame's number 11. They're telling
- 6:47Speaker 2: you right now, this is a play. the president this
- 6:52Speaker 2: is a playoff game this weekend yeah well for notre
- 6:54Speaker 2: dame notre dame has to win or they're it's done
- 6:57Speaker 2: how shocked were you when you saw that the notre
- 6:59Speaker 2: dame one and 11 yeah not clearly not clearly as
- 7:04Speaker 2: shocked as i was at bama and texas sitting there
- 7:07Speaker 2: at five and seven.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Not even close do as shocked as i when i
- 7:11Speaker 1: saw notre dame at 11 i thought okay they're they're
- 7:13Speaker 1: understanding their schedule and where they're at. And this has
- 7:17Speaker 1: to be a must win game if they don't do it.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Cause you brought it up last week, Wisconsin SMU or
- 7:21Speaker 1: two games and they shit down their leg. So now
- 7:24Speaker 1: there's no longer the argument of like quality, quality wins.
- 7:28Speaker 1: So you have to beat Miami as number one in
- 7:29Speaker 1: the country. You beat Miami, all the noise and everything
- 7:33Speaker 1: around Notre Dame goes away.
- 7:35Speaker 2: It's all over.
- 7:35Speaker 1: They control their destiny. They control their destiny. They lose
- 7:39Speaker 1: and they're not sniffing the playoffs because.
- 7:41Speaker 2: They would just need anybody who might be ahead of them.
- 7:43Speaker 2: They would need everybody to kind of shit their mind.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I mean, 12 to 20. You can find all those
- 7:49Speaker 1: teams in there.
- 7:50Speaker 2: 12 to 21. Yeah.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Can't leave the Gamecocks out the way they're playing right now.
- 7:56Speaker 1: But you look at like, I wasn't upset about Miami,
- 7:59Speaker 1: not Georgia, Utah, like where they're at, Indiana. I understand
- 8:02Speaker 1: why people get frustrated, but they're winning. They've lost one
- 8:04Speaker 1: game in two years. Then Alabama pops up. And that
- 8:08Speaker 1: is as biased as it can possibly get.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Hey, listen, I said it. I was talking about it
- 8:14Speaker 2: in a video last night. Did you do a release
- 8:17Speaker 2: last night? Tip of the cap. to the deep state
- 8:20Speaker 2: of college football. Like, they've gotten better, is what I'll say,
- 8:25Speaker 2: because they learned from last year. Last year, it's like, oh,
- 8:28Speaker 2: they went for it. Bama, how they went for it
- 8:29Speaker 2: so courageously on fourth down against Auburn. They got pummeled.
- 8:34Speaker 2: in the SEC championship where, you know, they stayed protected
- 8:37Speaker 2: the entire time. They learned from that. They're like, all right,
- 8:40Speaker 2: we're in a spot now. Guys, if we want teams
- 8:43Speaker 2: like Bama, the SEC bias is there, but it's not
- 8:46Speaker 2: the way people think it is. It's favoritism. It's the
- 8:49Speaker 2: favorite kids. It's Bama and Texas. They're letting them know, hey,
- 8:54Speaker 2: we did our part. Bama, we got you at five.
- 8:56Speaker 2: All you have left is LSU on the schedule. You
- 8:58Speaker 2: can lose this weekend. you'll still be in it because
- 9:01Speaker 2: you got Chattanooga, the Chattdump Gang coming to town after Vanderbilt.
- 9:06Speaker 2: And then you round it off with Auburn. And then
- 9:09Speaker 2: with Texas, it's like, all right, Texas, we hear you.
- 9:12Speaker 2: We hear you. You got Mizzou and LSU, two tough
- 9:15Speaker 2: games for Texas. You can lose one of them. Can't
- 9:18Speaker 2: lose both, we can't help you. Hands are tied. Right.
- 9:20Speaker 2: But they're allowing them to lose. They're allowing Bama and
- 9:22Speaker 2: Texas to lose one more game. Tennessee controls their destiny.
- 9:26Speaker 2: LSU does. Obviously, all these SEC teams that are in
- 9:29Speaker 2: the top 25 do. I don't know why Florida's still
- 9:31Speaker 2: sitting there. Like, they've stunk. They don't have a quarterback.
- 9:34Speaker 2: But the deep state of college football, I got to
- 9:37Speaker 2: tip my cap to them. They suck. They are on
- 9:40Speaker 2: their stuff this year. We talked about it on Bussin'
- 9:43Speaker 2: and Pay last week. On the bus, off the bus,
- 9:45Speaker 2: stuff with three lost SEC teams. You know they're going
- 9:49Speaker 2: to get– there's that world right there in front of
- 9:52Speaker 2: us to where three of them can get in the
- 9:55Speaker 2: college football playoff. Yes. Josh? I don't get one.
- 10:00Speaker 4: You're so upset when this is what you prophesied.
- 10:02Speaker 2: This is respect. This isn't anger. This is respect at
- 10:06Speaker 2: a high volume. Dean State, I see you from a
- 10:08Speaker 2: mile away, but what semantics to get bam at five
- 10:12Speaker 2: because you beat, who'd they beat? Kentucky. Kentucky. We too.
- 10:17Speaker 2: We too. Well, South Carolina. Pre-October. And then, you know,
- 10:21Speaker 2: a Camario Taylor bam up. But also he was he
- 10:24Speaker 2: was banged up. Clearly hurt during that. Yeah. Yeah. But hey,
- 10:28Speaker 2: they're the deep state is telling you we're going to
- 10:33Speaker 2: the power is in. winning strength of schedule games based
- 10:38Speaker 2: off the metric that we created for strength of schedule.
- 10:41Speaker 2: We're not valuing as much consistency and how you played recently.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Cause Bama recently, the last three weeks, you got whooped.
- 10:49Speaker 2: You got whooped by Tennessee. You lost in your backyard
- 10:53Speaker 2: to Georgia. But after that game, you're like, okay, could
- 10:55Speaker 2: Bama be a top seven team? Yeah, they could be.
- 10:58Speaker 2: They looked good. But you get physically taken against your
- 11:01Speaker 2: will against Tennessee. Tennessee at 13, that's laughable. And then
- 11:05Speaker 2: you go and survive A & M. I know that
- 11:07Speaker 2: Bama's injured. And I'm not saying Bama can't be a
- 11:10Speaker 2: top five team in the country. I'm just saying where
- 11:12Speaker 2: we've gotten to with these rankings, Bama at five is hilarious. Josh,
- 11:19Speaker 2: you said they can afford to lose a game. Yes.
- 11:22Speaker 2: You believe that? Yes.
- 11:24Speaker 4: You believe Bama loses Saturday. Let's say close Saturday. You
- 11:27Speaker 4: think they're still in no matter what?
- 11:30Speaker 2: Yes. They went out. They got to beat Chad, dumb gang.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Chad knew he could come to town. Let's not look
- 11:34Speaker 2: over him. In-state team. Yeah.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Uh, I don't think that's accurate. I think a lot
- 11:39Speaker 4: of Bama folks think that's accurate. I think a lot
- 11:41Speaker 4: of people in general think that's accurate. And I understand
- 11:43Speaker 4: the logic. You're number five. Your toughest game left is
- 11:46Speaker 4: number 14. You've got to go on the road to
- 11:48Speaker 4: play them. And so, um, Let me just remind everyone
- 11:53Speaker 4: what that resume is built on. The Alabama resume, the
- 11:56Speaker 4: bulk of it is built on you handled currently number
- 12:00Speaker 4: six on the road. You handled currently number 21.
- 12:05Speaker 2: That's great. And as long as Kentucky and South Carolina
- 12:08Speaker 2: keep winning, I agree with you.
- 12:10Speaker 4: Bama could probably lose another game and still sneak in.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Here's what people are failing to realize. That resume is
- 12:15Speaker 4: very fluid. And there are two teams in Kentucky and
- 12:18Speaker 4: South Carolina that normally aren't at the table this late
- 12:21Speaker 4: in the year that are very vulnerable to possibly falling
- 12:25Speaker 4: off in November. So if Alabama loses Saturday, and that
- 12:29Speaker 4: coincides with Kentucky drops a couple of games, South Carolina
- 12:32Speaker 4: drops a couple of games, all of a sudden their
- 12:35Speaker 4: resume was built on sand. So there is a world
- 12:38Speaker 4: where the same folks that are yelling at Bama fans
- 12:40Speaker 4: right now are listening to Bama fans yell at them
- 12:44Speaker 4: come late November, because Bama folks will make the same
- 12:46Speaker 4: argument Notre Dame folks made last year. And that is,
- 12:49Speaker 4: you told us by the way you ranked us that
- 12:52Speaker 4: we could afford to lose, that we were in, and
- 12:54Speaker 4: then the entire paradigm gets shifted against them. Now they
- 12:58Speaker 4: could make all that moot if they just beat LSU Saturday,
- 13:00Speaker 4: but if they're a three loss team, what I'm saying
- 13:02Speaker 4: is I don't feel nearly as safe that they're just
- 13:05Speaker 4: automatically in as everyone else seems to, because I still
- 13:08Speaker 4: think there's a lot of fluidity in the bulk of
- 13:10Speaker 4: their resume right now. Like I think there's a world
- 13:12Speaker 4: where you get to the end of the season and
- 13:13Speaker 4: you're saying, Look at the way their resume looks now.
- 13:16Speaker 4: What are you hanging your hat on? And if they
- 13:18Speaker 4: were a two-loss team, it wouldn't matter. But if they're
- 13:20Speaker 4: a three-loss team, I think there's several other three-loss resumes
- 13:23Speaker 4: that could supersede Alabama's in that scenario.
- 13:25Speaker 2: But the three-loss resumes, to the point of three-loss teams
- 13:30Speaker 2: getting in from the SEC, there will be multiple three-loss
- 13:33Speaker 2: teams getting in.
- 13:34Speaker 4: Here's your problem. If you're Alabama, here's your problem. You
- 13:36Speaker 4: could potentially be thrown in a barrel where you're a
- 13:39Speaker 4: three-loss team along with Tennessee and a three-loss team along
- 13:41Speaker 4: with LSU, and both of them, in that scenario... would
- 13:44Speaker 4: have the head-to-head over you. And if you're being judged
- 13:47Speaker 4: in the same bubble, they're going to bump up above you.
- 13:50Speaker 4: So it becomes a question of how many SEC teams
- 13:52Speaker 4: with three losses are we about to let in this thing?
- 13:54Speaker 2: Who knows? It may not exist. You may just let
- 13:56Speaker 2: all of them in. And then what happens with the
- 13:58Speaker 2: ACC and the Big 12? That's a great question.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Because now we live in a world where Wake Forest
- 14:01Speaker 1: is within striking distance. They're as red hot as any
- 14:04Speaker 1: team in the country. Who knows what happens with Miami
- 14:06Speaker 1: and Notre Dame? But let's say Miami loses to Notre
- 14:08Speaker 1: Dame this weekend. Notre Dame cements themselves in. Then Miami
- 14:12Speaker 1: goes on a run. They make it to the ACC championship,
- 14:13Speaker 1: which is most likely going to happen. Wake Forest does
- 14:16Speaker 1: the same thing. And so you got Miami sitting at, what,
- 14:19Speaker 1: 5-6 at that point? You have them sitting at 5-6,
- 14:22Speaker 1: and then Wake Forest on the outside looking in, but
- 14:24Speaker 1: Wake Forest wins the ACC.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Yeah, they would both be in. They would both be in.
- 14:27Speaker 2: And honestly, you guys are speaking.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Then you got the Big 12, which is Utah, BYU,
- 14:33Speaker 1: and Texas Tech at this point in the game. Houston's
- 14:35Speaker 1: out there, but I don't see a world where they
- 14:37Speaker 1: get in. What if Texas Tech wins out? What if
- 14:40Speaker 1: BYU loses to Utah? And now Utah and Texas Tech
- 14:43Speaker 1: are playing the Big 12 championship, and BYU is a
- 14:46Speaker 1: two-loss team with a win over Notre Dame who's in
- 14:48Speaker 1: the playoffs.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Yes, Josh Payton.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Buddy, it could be crazier than that. What if Brigham
- 14:52Speaker 4: Young beats Utah Saturday, and then Utah takes them in
- 14:57Speaker 4: the rematch in the Big 12 championship game, and Texas
- 15:00Speaker 4: Tech just goes 11-1, and they finish 11-1, but they're
- 15:02Speaker 4: not in the Big 12 championship game. You've got 11-1
- 15:05Speaker 4: Texas Tech, probably in. You've got, what, 11-2 Brigham Young.
- 15:11Speaker 4: And you've got 12-1 Utah. All three of them are
- 15:15Speaker 4: potentially in at that point.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Do you put them in, though? Time out, time out,
- 15:19Speaker 2: time out. Just to recap, because you guys spoke to
- 15:22Speaker 2: how we combat what the deep state's trying to do.
- 15:26Speaker 2: It's BYU has to beat Utah. Yeah. Texas Tech win out.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Utah wins the Big 12 championship. Miami... Miami beats Notre
- 15:36Speaker 2: Dame and then loses to Wake Forest in the ACC championship. Yes.
- 15:41Speaker 2: You're going to have five right there. Yep. That is
- 15:44Speaker 2: where the chaos is. And it's all going to be
- 15:47Speaker 2: dependent on where they have these rankings at come the
- 15:50Speaker 2: end of November.
- 15:51Speaker 1: The only thing that makes that crazy is the original
- 15:53Speaker 1: thought of, you said Miami beats Notre Dame.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Miami beats Notre Dame.
- 15:56Speaker 1: But if Notre Dame beats Miami, that's when there's one
- 16:00Speaker 1: less spot because Notre Dame is in unless they drop
- 16:02Speaker 1: something crazy.
- 16:03Speaker 2: You're actually right. You are right.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Notre Dame wins. Miami drops to five or six. But
- 16:07Speaker 1: Miami will stay in five or six.
- 16:09Speaker 2: They're in there no matter what.
- 16:09Speaker 1: They're in there no matter what. Because they're going to
- 16:11Speaker 1: go in the ACC championship and that position. Or Wake
- 16:14Speaker 1: Forest will be sitting in that no man's land 11-12. 11-12.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Wake Forest wins. Miami will drop, what, lowest is nine?
- 16:22Speaker 2: If Notre Dame. So they will be in. Notre Dame
- 16:25Speaker 2: or Miami. Whoever wins this game this weekend. And say,
- 16:28Speaker 2: you know, Wake Forest beats Miami. If Notre Dame is
- 16:30Speaker 2: in because they beat Miami. Miami's a one loss regular
- 16:33Speaker 2: season team and they lose to Wake Forest in the
- 16:36Speaker 2: ACC championship game in this scenario with the Big 12 happens,
- 16:40Speaker 2: only one out of Wake Forest and Miami's gonna get in.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Or only one, they're not gonna have Notre Dame, Miami,
- 16:48Speaker 2: Wake Forest, Texas Tech, BYU, and Utah. They're not gonna
- 16:51Speaker 2: have six of these teams in the college football playoff.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Who is the deep state of college football that we're
- 16:55Speaker 2: trying to defeat right now? It's the SEC bias. That's
- 16:58Speaker 2: essentially what we're doing.
- 16:59Speaker 1: So in order to defeat the SEC bias, Miami would
- 17:02Speaker 1: have to lose Notre Dame.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Notre Dame would be in. So now one slot is
- 17:05Speaker 2: taken from everybody in the powerful conferences.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Miami winning out and winning the way we know they
- 17:10Speaker 1: can win and then playing Wake Forest only to lose
- 17:13Speaker 1: against Gio Lopez and how red hot they've been. There's
- 17:16Speaker 1: a horrible argument for anybody to say Miami shouldn't be in.
- 17:20Speaker 2: They're not going to drop out.
- 17:21Speaker 1: They're not going to drop out. They're not going to
- 17:22Speaker 1: do it. So now you have three spots that are
- 17:25Speaker 1: taken by non-SEC teams. UCLA, the only ranked game they.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Have on, which wasn't ranked last week, but now is
- 17:30Speaker 2: ranked this week, is USC at the end of the year. Okay,
- 17:33Speaker 2: so we can pencil them in for the Big Ten
- 17:34Speaker 2: Championship at this point. All right? I don't know that
- 17:37Speaker 2: I would go that far. You wouldn't pencil them into
- 17:39Speaker 2: the Big Ten Championship? Their five-point favorite is Minnesota this week.
- 17:42Speaker 1: But Minnesota also went to the wire with Indiana and
- 17:45Speaker 1: had to kick back-to-back.
- 17:46Speaker 2: To me, in my opinion, UCLA is in a spot
- 17:49Speaker 2: to where they're saying, if you lose... Let's say they
- 17:52Speaker 2: win the games that they're favored in and they're going
- 17:54Speaker 2: against USC. They lose to USC and say they're in
- 17:58Speaker 2: the Big Ten Championship. They're going to be in a
- 18:00Speaker 2: spot where they'll be this year's BYU. You are correct.
- 18:03Speaker 4: And I think that's conditional because I don't think they
- 18:05Speaker 4: would treat any other Big Ten team like that. The
- 18:08Speaker 4: only Big Ten team I think they would treat like
- 18:10Speaker 4: that is UCLA. Number one, because they don't have the
- 18:12Speaker 4: brand bias. But number two, because their schedule is unique.
- 18:15Speaker 4: And this is the fault of conferences for expanding so
- 18:17Speaker 4: much that you could disproportionately get a weak strength of
- 18:20Speaker 4: schedule like this. But that's another conversation. Because that's exactly
- 18:23Speaker 4: what I have happening right now. I had UCLA winning
- 18:27Speaker 4: out until maybe they lose to USC and then also
- 18:30Speaker 4: lose the Big Ten title game. And at that point,
- 18:31Speaker 4: that committee's got to sit there and think, we're going
- 18:33Speaker 4: to put in a team that just lost two in
- 18:35Speaker 4: a row to end the year. They don't have a
- 18:36Speaker 4: quality win to hang their hat on. But if we
- 18:38Speaker 4: don't do that, are we really bumping the runner up
- 18:42Speaker 4: In the second most powerful conference in college football this year,
- 18:45Speaker 4: out of the playoff entirely.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Kim, the argument to that is sitting at 23 is
- 18:50Speaker 2: Oregon right now. They sure are. If they get hot,
- 18:53Speaker 2: UCLA now has a quality win. You are correct.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Then there's also Iowa sitting at 19. And the hardest
- 18:59Speaker 1: game they have left on their schedule is Nebraska at
- 19:02Speaker 1: the end of the year.
- 19:03Speaker 2: And no disrespect to Nebraska, the last three weeks, you
- 19:06Speaker 2: think Iowa would handle their schedule. You're telling me it's
- 19:09Speaker 2: all going to come down to Nebraska.
- 19:11Speaker 1: It always does, doesn't it? It always does. Because they got...
- 19:16Speaker 1: Iowa's got Northwestern who just lost. They got Purdue, Illinois,
- 19:19Speaker 1: and then Nebraska. All very winnable games for Iowa.
- 19:22Speaker 2: So where does Iowa sit in that position?
- 19:24Speaker 1: And we haven't even talked about Ohio State, which the
- 19:26Speaker 1: biggest question mark for them was, what's the quarterback going
- 19:28Speaker 1: to do? He played fine in that game. The defense
- 19:30Speaker 1: was the one that gave up the X plays, and
- 19:31Speaker 1: they were bad in the red zone, along with all
- 19:32Speaker 1: the penalties. So the Big Ten is... another little factor
- 19:37Speaker 1: in beating the deep state.
- 19:39Speaker 2: I think we'll be in, you're not going to beat
- 19:42Speaker 2: the deep state. We're going to be in the best
- 19:44Speaker 2: position we possibly can too, with everything that you guys
- 19:47Speaker 2: are laying out. because they're like like for me like
- 19:51Speaker 2: if if i have the willie c college football playoff
- 19:54Speaker 2: rankings will be out soon but if the way i
- 19:57Speaker 2: would have these two lost sec teams they would be
- 20:00Speaker 2: sitting like 9 through 15 right but they're showing you
- 20:05Speaker 2: teams that they're protecting. And then you got Tennessee, LSU,
- 20:08Speaker 2: like we don't know what's going to happen over these
- 20:09Speaker 2: next few weeks because there's going to be a lot
- 20:11Speaker 2: of them with just three losses. And they're all going
- 20:13Speaker 2: to be like quality schedules, but they're going to have
- 20:15Speaker 2: them fluffed around that bubble because they're telling you Bama's
- 20:18Speaker 2: going to be in the bubble if they lose to LSU,
- 20:21Speaker 2: but they're going to be in a favorable bubble. If
- 20:23Speaker 2: Texas goes one and one over the next two weeks,
- 20:26Speaker 2: they're going to be in the bubble, but they'll be
- 20:27Speaker 2: in a favorable bubble, in a favorable bubble. If they
- 20:31Speaker 2: started in the bubble now, That's where everything that we're saying, like,
- 20:35Speaker 2: you're not going to be able to get in all these,
- 20:36Speaker 2: they're setting up all these teams, but they're tipping off.
- 20:38Speaker 1: The next three weeks are insane, especially for like, like
- 20:41Speaker 1: LSU and Tennessee are the most interesting ones because their
- 20:43Speaker 1: biggest games they have other than each other are at home.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Like Tennessee, Kentucky this weekend, and then Tennessee.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Will have LSU.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Those, I mean, those are all at home. We all
- 20:54Speaker 1: know Tennessee is completely different in LSU, same way, Alabama.
- 20:57Speaker 1: And they got Texas the following week, then Tennessee away
- 20:59Speaker 1: to where Okay, what if LSU beats Bama and then
- 21:02Speaker 1: beats Texas, but then loses to Tennessee? Where do we
- 21:05Speaker 1: sit then?
- 21:06Speaker 2: Let me ask you a better question.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Not that Eli Drinkwitz and I are on the best
- 21:09Speaker 4: of terms right now, but he's sitting at number 18.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Yes, sir.
- 21:13Speaker 4: I haven't heard anyone talk about Missouri. And outside of
- 21:16Speaker 4: Notre Dame, Missouri to me was the most interesting team
- 21:18Speaker 4: that I had my eye on going into the rankings
- 21:20Speaker 4: last night. So they're about where I thought they'd be.
- 21:23Speaker 4: I thought they'd be like 16 to 18, somewhere like that.
- 21:25Speaker 4: So they're 18. I think they can afford to lose
- 21:29Speaker 4: another game and still make it to the playoff.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Okay, hold on now. Yeah, go ahead. First off, you
- 21:33Speaker 2: started by saying this is going to be a better question,
- 21:35Speaker 2: and it wasn't. It's a scenario. I didn't know.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Okay, because they don't have Missouri's schedule in front of them.
- 21:41Speaker 2: They don't have the favoritism that these other SEC teams have.
- 21:44Speaker 2: They got the schedule. They got the schedule, but they
- 21:47Speaker 2: afforded to lose one. They would have to split, right,
- 21:50Speaker 2: between Texas and Georgia.
- 21:52Speaker 4: Forget about the names for a second. Let me tell
- 21:54Speaker 4: you what they have left. Let me tell you what
- 21:56Speaker 4: they have left. They play this week. They play number seven.
- 22:02Speaker 4: The week after that, they go to number two. And
- 22:05Speaker 4: then the week after that, they play number six. So
- 22:09Speaker 4: they got three games left against top seven teams. That
- 22:12Speaker 4: committee has shown you that they're valuing winning big games
- 22:16Speaker 4: more than they're punishing you for losing games unless you're
- 22:19Speaker 4: Ohio State and you lost your quarterback. That team right
- 22:21Speaker 4: there can afford to lose another game as long as
- 22:24Speaker 4: they win two out of the three games of those
- 22:26Speaker 4: top seven matchups and don't drop, I think it's Oklahoma
- 22:30Speaker 4: at the end of the year. They can't afford to
- 22:31Speaker 4: do that. Missouri's, they are ziplined up in the rafters
- 22:36Speaker 4: and they could go Shawn Michaels WrestleMania out of nowhere.
- 22:39Speaker 2: And they could just say, we're here. Look at us,
- 22:42Speaker 2: we're here. Yeah, Missouri could still make the playoffs even
- 22:44Speaker 2: with another loss. They did it. Yeah, you are right, bro.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Missouri loses to Texas this week.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Are they still in the top 25?
- 22:50Speaker 4: If Missouri loses to, oh yeah, they may be in
- 22:52Speaker 4: the top 20. If they lose close to Texas, buddy,
- 22:56Speaker 4: this is not being played in a vacuum. Other teams
- 22:58Speaker 4: are going to play this week and lose too. So
- 23:00Speaker 4: is Missouri going to fall further than other teams that
- 23:02Speaker 4: lose when their loss is to number seven?
- 23:04Speaker 2: If they're sitting there, it's close. 20, 21, something like that.
- 23:07Speaker 2: And you know, hey, we've still got number two and
- 23:09Speaker 2: number six coming up.
- 23:10Speaker 4: Now what could derail that or what could enhance it
- 23:13Speaker 4: is if Georgia loses to Ole Miss.
- 23:15Speaker 6: God, yes.
- 23:16Speaker 2: But what if Georgia beats Ole Miss? Or if Kentucky
- 23:18Speaker 2: loses to Tennessee, but what if Kentucky beats Tennessee? What if?
- 23:21Speaker 4: Yeah, so Missouri could come out of this weekend having
- 23:24Speaker 4: two top five matchups left.
- 23:27Speaker 2: And you know I love to buy some Mizzou stuff.
- 23:29Speaker 2: You do love it. Give me Austin Simmons in the playoffs, man.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Those are the two.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Those are the two outside of Nebraska for really.
- 23:38Speaker 2: This is, I kind of love the way they did this.
- 23:40Speaker 4: Play this in your mind. This will just tie you
- 23:42Speaker 4: in a pretzel. We could go for five hours on
- 23:44Speaker 4: this question. but I want you to think on it
- 23:47Speaker 4: for three seconds before you say anything. Coming out of
- 23:49Speaker 4: this upcoming weekend, Volcanic Saturday, Saturday of the century of
- 23:53Speaker 4: the year, how many different teams could be number one
- 23:56Speaker 4: next Tuesday? All right, that's three seconds.
- 24:03Speaker 2: You gave us a lot of time, though, to talk
- 24:04Speaker 2: about this. We know Miami could be number one next Tuesday.
- 24:06Speaker 2: So I've got to think for a little bit. All right,
- 24:08Speaker 2: so we know Miami. Yep. Georgia could easily be number one. Yep. Utah.
- 24:13Speaker 4: especially if either of those two teams lose in front
- 24:15Speaker 4: of them and if they beat Brigham Young, they could
- 24:18Speaker 4: vault to number one. Indiana, I don't think there's a path,
- 24:20Speaker 4: but who knows? Bama, if there's wreckage in front of
- 24:23Speaker 4: them and they beat LSU. Kentucky, ditto if they beat
- 24:26Speaker 4: Tennessee and there's wreckage in front of them. Texas, ditto
- 24:30Speaker 4: if there's unspeakable carnage in front of them and they
- 24:33Speaker 4: beat Missouri. UCLA, no. Brigham Young, ditto on all that.
- 24:37Speaker 4: If there's carnage in front of them and they beat
- 24:39Speaker 4: number three on the road... they're going to vault significantly.
- 24:43Speaker 4: Ole Miss, ditto to all that.
- 24:44Speaker 2: I think the most underreported or under-talked about facet of
- 24:47Speaker 2: all this is how far Ole Miss could vault this weekend.
- 24:51Speaker 4: Like, I've heard people, we've talked about this playoff this
- 24:53Speaker 4: morning for 20 minutes. We have not discussed Ole Miss once.
- 24:57Speaker 4: And Ole Miss has got the best quarterback in the country.
- 24:59Speaker 4: And they're playing number two at home this weekend. The
- 25:02Speaker 4: line's three and a half. We're going to break the
- 25:04Speaker 4: game down in a little while. If they win, let's
- 25:06Speaker 4: say about 10 points this Saturday.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Oh, my God. Ole Miss is right in the middle
- 25:09Speaker 2: of it. They've got the oldest quarterback in the country, too.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Yeah, oldest quarterback, but the quarterback that's had the most
- 25:13Speaker 1: success against the number two team in the country.
- 25:15Speaker 2: You don't think, I mean, yeah, I can see what
- 25:17Speaker 2: you're saying. Indiana's on a bye this week.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:19Speaker 2: If those teams lose in front of them, it's like
- 25:21Speaker 2: Indiana will be number one.
- 25:22Speaker 4: I think one of the teams that got a win
- 25:24Speaker 4: would vault over Indiana. But also remember, number 11 there
- 25:28Speaker 4: plays number one Saturday. Number 11 can beat number one Saturday.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Number 11 beats number one. Number 10 beats number two.
- 25:36Speaker 2: That'd be Cody's worst nightmare if Notre Dame wins on Saturday.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Leave the grave out of this, man. Graveyard hates Notre Dame.
- 25:44Speaker 4: What I'm saying is if we clapped right now and
- 25:46Speaker 4: we got to see next Tuesday's rankings before we've seen
- 25:49Speaker 4: the games, you would probably look at those rankings and
- 25:52Speaker 4: say a bomb's going off Saturday.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Multiple bombs are going off Saturday.
- 25:57Speaker 4: What would possibly have to happen for us to get
- 25:59Speaker 4: those rankings from the future that we would be looking.
- 26:02Speaker 2: At on the board? God damn.
- 26:08Speaker 4: What I'm telling people is You should absolutely go crazy
- 26:11Speaker 4: over this. You should also know it's not going to
- 26:13Speaker 4: look similar at all next Tuesday.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. That's why I feel like they did a
- 26:17Speaker 2: good job.
- 26:18Speaker 1: The deep state being they. I think the deep state
- 26:20Speaker 1: did a good job setting us up for this one.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. Putting what they need in position. Everything's in position.
- 26:26Speaker 2: The insurance policies are out there.
- 26:28Speaker 1: But if what Josh said is right about Alabama losing
- 26:31Speaker 1: one game and not making the playoffs.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Possibly not making the playoffs. And that is, you and
- 26:36Speaker 2: I both know, it's a massive stretch. Yeah, well, it
- 26:38Speaker 2: just depends on what the rest of their team's doing. Josh,
- 26:40Speaker 2: you know Bama's not going to not get in the playoffs.
- 26:44Speaker 1: If you're sitting one through five right now, you have
- 26:46Speaker 1: to lose multiple games at this point to be out
- 26:47Speaker 1: of the playoffs.
- 26:48Speaker 2: I don't think you do. I don't think you do. Okay,
- 26:53Speaker 2: maybe if they got whooped by LSU. They've already been
- 26:55Speaker 2: whooped on the road once this year. Why wouldn't it
- 26:57Speaker 2: potentially happen again? That's the only scenario. I don't think
- 27:01Speaker 2: it's the only scenario. If they lost close to LSU, bro,
- 27:04Speaker 2: they're five. They're getting in. If they lose close to
- 27:07Speaker 2: LSU and Kentucky drops multiple games and South Carolina, God forbid,
- 27:11Speaker 2: drops multiple games, there's nothing to hang their hat on.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Their quality wins aren't high-quality wins anymore is what I'm saying.
- 27:18Speaker 2: You hear that? That's a storm brewing. That's Saturday's storm brewing.
- 27:21Speaker 2: That's scary.
- 27:22Speaker 1: The more you start talking about Alabama can lose.
- 27:26Speaker 2: One or two, it's the end. The storm got stronger
- 27:28Speaker 2: and stronger. Are we good on audio? That's a God thing. No,
- 27:32Speaker 2: we're not at all. We interrupt this episode to bring
- 27:35Speaker 2: you Neutral. Neutral tastes great. It tastes so much better
- 27:37Speaker 2: than what else is out there. It's made with real
- 27:39Speaker 2: vodka and real juice. That's what makes it delicious. Pineapple
- 27:42Speaker 2: and watermelon to name a couple, and they also have
- 27:44Speaker 2: their new flavors, lime and strawberry. Perfect for social occasions
- 27:47Speaker 2: because it is such a crowd pleaser. Think on the
- 27:51Speaker 2: beach with friends, at an outdoor bar, on the lake,
- 27:53Speaker 2: at a music festival, watching ball with the boys on
- 27:56Speaker 2: a Saturday. It's the perfect time of year to grab
- 27:58Speaker 2: a 12-pack of Neutral for the beach or grab a
- 28:00Speaker 2: bucket deal in your favorite bar to celebrate summer. Neutral,
- 28:04Speaker 2: keep it tasty. We're back on the field. We're back
- 28:06Speaker 2: on it. We're back on it. We were just breaking
- 28:08Speaker 2: down a crazy SEC championship scenario. There are 19 different possibilities.
- 28:12Speaker 2: 19 different possibilities. I think we put Vandy in. If
- 28:16Speaker 2: everything falls right, I think we put Vandy in. It's
- 28:18Speaker 2: a possibility. Were there two and a half point dogs
- 28:21Speaker 2: this week? Mississippi State. Who knows?
- 28:24Speaker 1: At Mississippi State, I feel like we've done this, right?
- 28:28Speaker 2: We've hit all the things we need to hit. We have.
- 28:32Speaker 2: We could also go another hour. You think so? No,
- 28:34Speaker 2: I don't think it's disrespect. I think Wake Forest is...
- 28:37Speaker 2: Where were you having between 14 and 16, yeah? That
- 28:40Speaker 2: was my problem. I was asking who would I vault
- 28:42Speaker 2: them over. Right. Like Texas Tech, no. For me, I
- 28:44Speaker 2: would have all the teams. Tennessee, no. Ohio State, no.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Wake Forest is properly rated. Their only loss is to
- 28:51Speaker 2: the number one team in the country right now. True,
- 28:53Speaker 2: but it's also Deep State. And the Big Ten's won
- 28:56Speaker 2: three in a row. Exactly. So I'm saying it's disrespect
- 28:59Speaker 2: to Wake Forest. Because they're battling the Deep State. Do what?
- 29:03Speaker 2: I'd have Wake Forest in the top ten. Oh, something
- 29:05Speaker 2: just hit me. Go ahead. I don't know if your
- 29:07Speaker 2: mind works like this. Probably not.
- 29:08Speaker 4: When the playoff rankings come out, I know yours does
- 29:11Speaker 4: because I've watched you say it out loud before. You
- 29:13Speaker 4: look at it. and you keep working out scenarios in
- 29:16Speaker 4: your head, and then one just dawns on you. That like,
- 29:19Speaker 4: it's out of left field. You just never thought it
- 29:21Speaker 4: could happen, but then you realize, whoa, this could happen.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Georgia plays Ole Miss this weekend. It's a three and
- 29:27Speaker 4: a half point spread. Georgia could easily lose Saturday.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Second loss. You know where they go next week. They
- 29:35Speaker 2: go into the cockpit next week. Yeah. With their life
- 29:39Speaker 2: potentially on the line. Son of a bitch. Shitting it too.
- 29:50Speaker 2: I'm just saying, you remember not too long ago, there
- 29:53Speaker 2: was an argument being made, man, Bama could be the
- 29:55Speaker 2: number one team in the country.
- 29:57Speaker 4: And in the span of eight days, They lost to
- 29:59Speaker 4: Georgia and Tennessee, and they went from, that may be
- 30:02Speaker 4: the best team in the country, to, well, they just
- 30:04Speaker 4: got handled by Tennessee.
- 30:05Speaker 2: That offense is in a ditch. They may not make
- 30:08Speaker 2: the playoff. That can happen to anyone this year.
- 30:10Speaker 4: If you've got enough quality teams on your schedule, that
- 30:12Speaker 4: could happen to anyone this year. And I don't know
- 30:15Speaker 4: if it's hit you this way. I feel like most
- 30:18Speaker 4: of the country is just forgetting Georgia already lost. Like
- 30:22Speaker 4: that Auburn loss, it just got wiped from people's memories.
- 30:25Speaker 4: How do they think half the country thinks Georgia's undefeated?
- 30:27Speaker 2: And they're not. They got a loss. It's a bad loss,
- 30:30Speaker 2: but people keep excusing it because they don't think Georgia's
- 30:32Speaker 2: going to lose again. Because they're Georgia. So they just
- 30:33Speaker 2: don't think it's going to matter. Yeah.
- 30:35Speaker 4: But it could very much matter really quickly if they
- 30:37Speaker 4: lose Saturday.
- 30:38Speaker 2: You're right, because I'm one of them. I got forgotten. Georgia, Georgia.
- 30:43Speaker 2: It's like I know. Right. It's like I know they
- 30:46Speaker 2: lost Auburn, but I'm like, ah, they let down spot.
- 30:48Speaker 1: When they asked us, who do you think the best
- 30:49Speaker 1: team in the country is, we all kind of said Georgia.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I think they're the most complete squad. But if
- 30:55Speaker 2: they lose to Ole Miss. Going into the cockpit the
- 30:58Speaker 2: next week. Two losses in a row for Kirby Smart
- 31:01Speaker 2: and Gunnar Stockton. Come on, man. That don't happen. That
- 31:03Speaker 2: don't happen. He's undefeated after an in-law season. By an
- 31:09Speaker 2: average of 21.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Because Georgia's in at that nine spot in two weeks.
- 31:15Speaker 2: And they dominate. Because they lose two games, Georgia's still in.
- 31:18Speaker 2: I guess. I don't know. Who knows anything? The world
- 31:21Speaker 2: sees them as undefeated. They'll be a two loss team. Yeah,
- 31:22Speaker 2: they'll be a two loss team. Yeah, they'll be a
- 31:23Speaker 2: two loss team. Because that is crazy.
- 31:27Speaker 1: It's just a crazy thought process too of like not
- 31:29Speaker 1: having Georgia or Alabama in the SEC championship.
- 31:32Speaker 2: It would be insane. And they're, I think currently, can
- 31:35Speaker 2: you check this on FanDuel? The odds to win the
- 31:38Speaker 2: SEC championship. I still think Georgia, Alabama are the top two. But, dude,
- 31:47Speaker 2: I would hate to be running FanDuel right now. I
- 31:49Speaker 2: would hate to have to post these odds publicly.
- 31:51Speaker 1: One bet that you gave me, the Ohio State that
- 31:54Speaker 1: missed the playoffs a few weeks ago, only to bounce
- 31:57Speaker 1: back and forth. I took that bet on FanDuel, my bias.
- 32:00Speaker 1: But now it's looking pretty spooky.
- 32:03Speaker 2: For Ohio State. Yeah, they hate it on us. Look
- 32:05Speaker 2: at that now. Georgia, LSU. Okay, so that move. But
- 32:08Speaker 2: they're all very similar. LSU. Like there are four teams
- 32:11Speaker 2: there that are very similar. My futures pick, LSU, is
- 32:13Speaker 2: sitting right there. What are you shaking your head for?
- 32:16Speaker 2: It's going to end this week. No, it's not, man.
- 32:20Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 32:22Speaker 1: So, you give Alabama slack for their schedule.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Who is LSU beating all year? Nobody yet. They got
- 32:27Speaker 2: it all in front of them. There's a lot of
- 32:28Speaker 2: value on Texas right there, by the way. But also,
- 32:30Speaker 2: LSU is getting hot at the perfect time. Similar to
- 32:33Speaker 2: the Cocks. It's a lot of value on Texas to
- 32:34Speaker 2: lose money. Bro, sometimes you just need confidence. Lane is hot.
- 32:38Speaker 2: All right. You've already talked about it. Georgia's still negative 105.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Minus 105 to win. I don't think anyone should be
- 32:45Speaker 2: that favored to win that league right now. I agree.
- 32:50Speaker 2: But that's how the world views Georgia. Does FanDuel know
- 32:53Speaker 2: they've lost a game? I don't think they do. And
- 32:56Speaker 2: I'll say this, too. We said in the Futures, like,
- 32:58Speaker 2: it's hard to bet against Kirby Smart and Gunnar Stock.
- 33:00Speaker 3: It is.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Yes, it is.
- 33:01Speaker 1: But we just sit in a crazy world right now.
- 33:04Speaker 1: What if everything kind of just mellows out?
- 33:07Speaker 2: After the three weeks of.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Chaos, the first college football playoffs come out, and then
- 33:11Speaker 1: all of a sudden everything just chills.
- 33:12Speaker 2: There's just no way. There's no way, right? Mathematically, there's
- 33:14Speaker 2: no way. It's a simple math equation at this point.
- 33:19Speaker 1: It's a simple math equation. All right, let's get to
- 33:20Speaker 1: the first game, dude. Kentucky at Tennessee. Tennessee's favored by
- 33:24Speaker 1: six and a half points. That line's moved, yeah? Was
- 33:27Speaker 1: it five and a half just the other day? I
- 33:30Speaker 1: think it's kind of set there all week.
- 33:31Speaker 2: How's it? It's six and a half. All right, maybe
- 33:33Speaker 2: not the end of the point. Total points in that
- 33:34Speaker 2: game is 50 and a half points. Chaos?
- 33:39Speaker 4: Hey, I'll say this about a lot of these games.
- 33:42Speaker 4: We're calling this the Saturday of the century of the
- 33:44Speaker 4: millennium or whatever. Normally, when you have that, it's a
- 33:47Speaker 4: bunch of games that are like pick them minus one,
- 33:48Speaker 4: minus two. A lot of these things, Notre Dame, this game, LSU, Bama,
- 33:52Speaker 4: they're all five and a half, six and a half
- 33:54Speaker 4: point spreads. Like there's a clear favorite on paper.
- 33:57Speaker 2: In these games. You want to know where I'm going
- 34:01Speaker 2: with this? Yeah, I do. I think Tennessee is going
- 34:02Speaker 2: to win in cover. Yeah, I think Kentucky.
- 34:05Speaker 4: So here's the good part for them is that they've
- 34:09Speaker 4: been plus 12 turnover margin so far this year. They've
- 34:11Speaker 4: been plus two in every SEC game, turnover-wise, that they've
- 34:15Speaker 4: won this year. The Bama game was the only exception.
- 34:18Speaker 4: So that's wonderful. I don't discount that. I don't excuse
- 34:22Speaker 4: your wins away because you were plus turnovers because they're
- 34:24Speaker 4: skilled at taking the ball away, especially the teams that
- 34:26Speaker 4: keep doing that. From a predictive standpoint, I have a
- 34:30Speaker 4: hard time just thinking that's going to continue. And I
- 34:32Speaker 4: also have a hard time thinking that for a team
- 34:35Speaker 4: that South Carolina ran the ball consistently on, for a
- 34:38Speaker 4: team that Texas A & M ran the ball pretty
- 34:40Speaker 4: well on, albeit in losses, I have a hard time
- 34:42Speaker 4: believing they're going to shut Tennessee down on the ground.
- 34:45Speaker 4: And so Tennessee, they're both coming off a bye, I think.
- 34:48Speaker 4: You get them at home at night in Neyland Stadium.
- 34:51Speaker 4: I just think at some point, man, like cream starts
- 34:54Speaker 4: to rise. I know that sounds disrespectful to Kentucky.
- 34:56Speaker 2: It's not.
- 34:57Speaker 4: Kentucky's in a conversation we never thought they would be
- 34:59Speaker 4: in this late in the year. And I think they
- 35:02Speaker 4: emerged from this a really good team. But I think
- 35:04Speaker 4: the better team with home field probably needs to be
- 35:07Speaker 4: favored above that seven number and they're not. So I'm
- 35:10Speaker 4: going to take Tennessee minus six and.
- 35:11Speaker 2: A half and I'm going to put three units on it.
- 35:14Speaker 2: A piece he wants to do four. Another piece he
- 35:16Speaker 2: wants to do two.
- 35:18Speaker 4: A piece of me has lost half of my net
- 35:20Speaker 4: worth in units over the past three weeks, so it
- 35:22Speaker 4: doesn't know what it.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Wants to do. Well, you've got to swing a big stick, man.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Swing a big stick and just live and die by
- 35:27Speaker 2: the sword.
- 35:27Speaker 1: I like you at Tennessee. I'm with you on Tennessee.
- 35:30Speaker 1: I think the quarterback's gotten a whole lot better as
- 35:32Speaker 1: it's gone.
- 35:32Speaker 2: He's been well-complimented.
- 35:33Speaker 1: But, like, you brought it up. Tennessee wants to win
- 35:35Speaker 1: the football. Kentucky's shown that you can win the football
- 35:37Speaker 1: against them. Minchie has been a great quarterback. but he
- 35:40Speaker 1: gets a little gun-shy at times, and they're not phenomenal.
- 35:42Speaker 2: On third down. Doesn't turn it over, though.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Yeah, but Tennessee, Jim Knowles, that defense, they do an
- 35:47Speaker 1: incredible job of getting you in third and long, third
- 35:50Speaker 1: and plus, and that's where Kentucky has had their Achilles heel.
- 35:53Speaker 1: They're not great on third down. They're a team that
- 35:56Speaker 1: likes to give you death by a thousand cuts, and
- 35:58Speaker 1: when you're playing in a place like Neyland Stadium, where
- 36:01Speaker 1: it rocks that hard, you've seen Texas flounder around, you
- 36:03Speaker 1: saw Alabama flounder around in there, and would those games
- 36:06Speaker 1: maybe be different If it was in a different spot, probably.
- 36:09Speaker 1: But because of this fan base and how crazy they
- 36:12Speaker 1: get at nighttime, I have to believe that Tennessee wins
- 36:15Speaker 1: this game and covers this game because all eyes are
- 36:18Speaker 1: on November 21st with LSU and Tennessee.
- 36:21Speaker 2: And remember, Tennessee folks believe they've been done wrong. Yeah.
- 36:25Speaker 2: By the playoff committee. Disrespect.
- 36:26Speaker 4: They are not a protected brand right now.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Right.
- 36:29Speaker 4: They're on the outside looking in, but they also know
- 36:32Speaker 4: we've got our fate in our own hands. And if
- 36:34Speaker 4: it's Kentucky's blood that has to be smeared on the wall...
- 36:37Speaker 4: then it's Kentucky's blood that has to be smeared on
- 36:39Speaker 4: the wall.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Everything that you guys have said, the only two things
- 36:44Speaker 2: that Kentucky is great at is they're number two in
- 36:47Speaker 2: the country with takeaways. They're also top ten when it
- 36:50Speaker 2: comes to penalties. You were playing in Neyland. When you
- 36:54Speaker 2: look at the entire profile of Kentucky, here's some paper poppers.
- 36:59Speaker 2: They're 66 in the country on both total offense and
- 37:03Speaker 2: total defense. Then you want to look at situational football.
- 37:05Speaker 2: You alluded to third down. They're number 126th in the
- 37:09Speaker 2: country in third down defense. They're number 106th in third
- 37:13Speaker 2: down offense. Let's get to the red zone. They're 108th
- 37:16Speaker 2: in the country in red zone offense. They're 104 in
- 37:19Speaker 2: red zone defense. There's nothing that this team does great
- 37:23Speaker 2: other than you look at the win and loss column.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Big fan of Willie Stein. I respect what Kentucky's done,
- 37:28Speaker 2: but looking at the rushing attack of Tennessee, how this
- 37:31Speaker 2: defense can get after your ass. I like Tennessee minus
- 37:34Speaker 2: six and a half. I'm also going to go five
- 37:36Speaker 2: units on it. This is my five unit game. I
- 37:39Speaker 2: feel really good about Tennessee. Thank you. Five units. I'll
- 37:46Speaker 2: do four units. I'll do four units on Tennessee minus
- 37:50Speaker 2: six and a half here. This is one of those games.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Like Kentucky.
- 37:57Speaker 5: It is one of those games, man.
- 38:00Speaker 2: I know Kentucky's fired up. They should be. But Neyland,
- 38:04Speaker 2: that place is going to be on fire, bro. We
- 38:06Speaker 2: interrupt this episode to remind you about FanDuel's college football pick-em.
- 38:11Speaker 2: Ten games to pick against the spread every week, and
- 38:14Speaker 2: it is for free. If you go 10 out of
- 38:17Speaker 2: 10 against the spread, you'll be entered into a jackpot
- 38:20Speaker 2: of $ 500, 000, of which you will split with anybody else
- 38:23Speaker 2: who went 10 out of 10 last weekend. Also, if
- 38:27Speaker 2: you outpick me, Josh Pate, or Taylor LeJuan in our
- 38:32Speaker 2: picks against the spread, last week I went 4 out
- 38:35Speaker 2: of 10. Josh went 4 out of 10. Taylor went
- 38:37Speaker 2: 8 out of 10. A whopping 8 out of 10.
- 38:40Speaker 2: You almost got yourself in the jackpot, big dog. But
- 38:42Speaker 2: if you outpick one of us, so if you would
- 38:44Speaker 2: have went 5 out of 10, you would have earned
- 38:46Speaker 2: yourself a profit boost token because you beat me and
- 38:48Speaker 2: Josh Pate. Don't forget, FanDuel's College Pick'Em. It's free to play.
- 38:54Speaker 1: BYU at Utah, the whole award taking place. Utah favored
- 38:57Speaker 1: by minus 5.5. Total points in the game is 48.5 points. BYU,
- 39:04Speaker 1: LJ Martin comes back. Biggest question mark for BYU is
- 39:08Speaker 1: when Bear Buckmeyer is in a pinch, can he throw
- 39:10Speaker 1: the ball? He showed he could do that against what
- 39:11Speaker 1: people thought was one of the best secondaries in the
- 39:13Speaker 1: country against Notre Dame. But you turn on this Utah
- 39:16Speaker 1: film on the offensive side of the ball, and I just...
- 39:19Speaker 1: I couldn't tell you how to defend it. Even the
- 39:21Speaker 1: first play against Cincinnati last week, Devin Dampier is basically
- 39:25Speaker 1: getting tackled by three guys and then pitches it off
- 39:28Speaker 1: for a 15-yard game. and they just have so many
- 39:30Speaker 1: creative ways to get it done it being at utah
- 39:33Speaker 1: is a a huge edge for me and every every
- 39:37Speaker 1: game every team that we've seen have big win after
- 39:40Speaker 1: big win seem to falter and fall utah hasn't been
- 39:43Speaker 1: that way at all they've had big games they've taken
- 39:45Speaker 1: care of business they go to cincinnati And, like, what,
- 39:49Speaker 1: they're up 45-7, 42-7 at halftime?
- 39:52Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Like, Cincinnati ran the ball effectively against them, but... Didn't matter.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Didn't matter.
- 39:58Speaker 1: I like Utah minus five and a half in this game.
- 40:01Speaker 1: I'll take them to win. I'll take them to cover.
- 40:05Speaker 1: I want to slap the table, but I'll just go four,
- 40:07Speaker 1: and I might come back to it because there's so
- 40:09Speaker 1: many great games that I... Like, I know I want
- 40:11Speaker 1: to slap on one, but I'll go Utah minus five
- 40:14Speaker 1: and a half here.
- 40:15Speaker 2: The creativity that Utah has, whether it's... 22 personnel, 12 personnel,
- 40:20Speaker 2: 11 personnel. These backfields that they get into and the
- 40:23Speaker 2: creativity that they have with the plus run, the plus
- 40:26Speaker 2: one of Dan Pierre, it is fun to watch. This
- 40:31Speaker 2: right here. And I need the viewers at home. Don't
- 40:34Speaker 2: put a whole lot of stock into Willie C on
- 40:35Speaker 2: this one. This one is chaos play for myself. So
- 40:39Speaker 2: I'm gonna go two units. I'm taking BYU to cover
- 40:42Speaker 2: plus five and a half. I also hope BYU wins
- 40:44Speaker 2: this game. I do trust the defense. LJ Martin coming
- 40:47Speaker 2: back I think would be a massive win for BYU,
- 40:51Speaker 2: but I got, this is BYU, this is a chaos play,
- 40:54Speaker 2: this is deep state, I'm going BYU plus five and
- 40:57Speaker 2: a half. You're laying down the train tracks to stop
- 41:00Speaker 2: the deep state with that play. That's not you. No, no,
- 41:02Speaker 2: there's so many dominoes that have to fall. But this
- 41:06Speaker 2: is one of them. This simply is one of them. Yes.
- 41:08Speaker 2: This is part of it. You're not playing for units
- 41:11Speaker 2: on this game. You're playing for chaos. Yeah, I'm playing
- 41:14Speaker 2: for keeps. I'm playing for keeps. I'm playing for keeps
- 41:16Speaker 2: on this game. You don't know what it means, but
- 41:18Speaker 2: we're playing for them. Yeah, we're playing for keeps. Yeah,
- 41:21Speaker 2: this is one of those. Okay. You're giving me five
- 41:25Speaker 2: and a half with BYU? Holy war? Yeah.
- 41:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:29Speaker 4: I kind of feel that way. And I picked Utah
- 41:30Speaker 4: on our show last night. And that number just keeps
- 41:33Speaker 4: going up. There's several games this week. The number just
- 41:35Speaker 4: keeps going up. And you wonder, what does FanDuel know?
- 41:38Speaker 4: What does anyone know? No one knows anything right now.
- 41:42Speaker 4: So I watched them last week. I watched Utah really
- 41:46Speaker 4: the last couple of weeks. And the last sort of
- 41:51Speaker 4: passing thoughts in my mind that they haven't played anyone,
- 41:54Speaker 4: that kind of got thrown out the window because they
- 41:56Speaker 4: just woodshedded two people, two teams that I thought were
- 41:58Speaker 4: really quality in Houston. And then what they did against
- 42:00Speaker 4: Cincinnati last week was impressive. Not because Cincinnati's so great,
- 42:04Speaker 4: but it's a quality team. And you went on the
- 42:06Speaker 4: road in a letdown spot and you had 42 at
- 42:08Speaker 4: the half. I don't care how you did it. I
- 42:10Speaker 4: don't care if they handed you half of those literally
- 42:12Speaker 4: in a picnic basket. That's pretty incredible. So they look
- 42:15Speaker 4: like a machine. Dampier, I think, has two plus touchdowns
- 42:19Speaker 4: in 16 straight games. So he's rolling. The one thing
- 42:23Speaker 4: about Brigham Young that I wonder, LJ Martin, if he's
- 42:26Speaker 4: back here, how effective is he? Because it's one thing
- 42:28Speaker 4: to get a guy back. It's another thing like, man,
- 42:30Speaker 4: he came back and ran it 25 times for 180 yards.
- 42:34Speaker 4: I think there are two really good quarterbacks, one of
- 42:37Speaker 4: whom we know.
- 42:37Speaker 2: About in Dampier.
- 42:38Speaker 4: The other, Bachmeier, kind of announced his emergence onto the
- 42:41Speaker 4: national scene, I think, in that Notre Dame game. We
- 42:43Speaker 4: knew about him, but you hadn't seen him shine in
- 42:45Speaker 4: a big game like that. My lean here and my
- 42:48Speaker 4: bet here is actually going to be over 48.5 because
- 42:51Speaker 4: I think there are two good enough offenses here, even
- 42:54Speaker 4: in a rivalry game. Probably starts a little bit low scoring,
- 42:58Speaker 4: but I think this game is eventually going to hit
- 42:59Speaker 4: its stride enough to where– We get mid to upper 20s,
- 43:03Speaker 4: kind of a back-and-forth game, like a 31-27 type final,
- 43:07Speaker 4: 31-24 type final. I think it's going to go over 48.5,
- 43:10Speaker 4: so I'm going to go three units over 48.5. My
- 43:14Speaker 4: slight lean on the game is Utah, but I'm just
- 43:16Speaker 4: not comfortable enough to lay the points.
- 43:19Speaker 2: They haven't won the Holy War since 19? Pre-20s. Pre-COVID. Yeah, pre-COVID.
- 43:27Speaker 2: This is one of those games, man. I like your plan, BYU.
- 43:31Speaker 2: For the chaos scenario, but I just feel like Utah
- 43:33Speaker 2: is just, they're a pretty complete team right now. Yeah,
- 43:36Speaker 2: they are. And the biggest thing taking away from them
- 43:38Speaker 2: is the logo of the Big 12.
- 43:40Speaker 1: They might just be one of those teams that could actually,
- 43:43Speaker 1: we get in the playoffs and be like, oh shit,
- 43:44Speaker 1: they're actually just this good.
- 43:45Speaker 2: Big 12 Indiana? Yeah. Yeah. BYU could also throw out
- 43:48Speaker 2: a reminder to everybody, like they had the big one
- 43:50Speaker 2: against Notre Dame and what have they done since then?
- 43:52Speaker 2: They lost to UCF. They didn't play that well. They
- 43:54Speaker 2: got away. They survived Arizona State. Like they haven't put
- 43:57Speaker 2: together a complete game like they did against Notre Dame.
- 44:01Speaker 2: So I'm just assuming, you've got to assume that the
- 44:04Speaker 2: urgency in the building to obviously going to Utah for
- 44:07Speaker 2: the Holy War, you're giving five and a half here
- 44:10Speaker 2: with BYU?
- 44:11Speaker 1: But wouldn't you have seen that urgency against Arizona? Regardless
- 44:13Speaker 1: of whether you have Utah the next week or not,
- 44:15Speaker 1: you just lost to UCF. So the urgency should be there.
- 44:17Speaker 1: At the very least, your fastball, the run game, should
- 44:20Speaker 1: be super effective. But they haven't had an effective run
- 44:22Speaker 1: game since the.
- 44:23Speaker 2: Notre Dame game.
- 44:23Speaker 4: That was one of my concerns is if you view
- 44:26Speaker 4: college football teams as like art teams.
- 44:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:30Speaker 4: Some of them peak early, some of them peak late.
- 44:32Speaker 4: And BYU may have just peaked early. And Utah may
- 44:34Speaker 4: be peaking right now. And if that's happening simultaneous, that's
- 44:38Speaker 4: where you get a lopsided game. But then it's a
- 44:40Speaker 4: rivalry game. And also, there's this entire notion that it
- 44:43Speaker 4: feels like a week where you just start over every week.
- 44:47Speaker 2: I watch Georgia go beat Alabama. I watch them lose
- 44:50Speaker 2: to Auburn. And I'm like, which team are they? Well,
- 44:52Speaker 2: they're both. You're just going to have 12 pretty wide
- 44:56Speaker 2: variance results.
- 44:58Speaker 4: You put them all in a blender. That's that team.
- 45:00Speaker 4: Utah just happens to be rolling right now. So I'm
- 45:02Speaker 4: definitely not betting against them. But I also understand this
- 45:05Speaker 4: sport does not work like that. It does not work
- 45:08Speaker 4: nice and linearly and neat and organized and everyone stays
- 45:11Speaker 4: on the exact trajectory that they've been on. Maybe Brigham
- 45:14Speaker 4: Young just plays their two best games against their two
- 45:16Speaker 4: best opponents of the year.
- 45:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Like maybe that could happen. I just want points. That's
- 45:20Speaker 2: all I need. All you need is points. Points, points, points.
- 45:22Speaker 2: You brought up Georgia.
- 45:23Speaker 1: Georgia at Ole Miss. Ole Miss is dogs. Three and
- 45:26Speaker 1: a half points. Total points that game is 56 and
- 45:29Speaker 1: a half. This is my chaos play. I'm going to
- 45:33Speaker 1: take an Ole Miss. I'm going to take them two units.
- 45:38Speaker 1: And I'm going to take Ole Miss money line. Can
- 45:39Speaker 1: I do that here?
- 45:40Speaker 2: Yeah, of course. All right.
- 45:41Speaker 1: I'm going to go money line. Ole Miss, Trinidad-Chamberlain, the
- 45:45Speaker 1: two games he's played against Georgia last year, where he
- 45:48Speaker 1: had 625 yards. He accounted for five total touchdowns and
- 45:52Speaker 1: zero interceptions. Trinidad's been a little more loose with the
- 45:54Speaker 1: football this year, but... We've seen that mobile, elusive quarterbacks
- 46:01Speaker 1: give Georgia fits. And then Keewan Lacy, he didn't get
- 46:03Speaker 1: a snap against Auburn, but they still rushed the ball
- 46:05Speaker 1: for 224 yards. So they're starting to figure it out
- 46:08Speaker 1: even without Keewan Lacy. Deuce Alexander had multiple brutal drops
- 46:12Speaker 1: in that game, even in a blowout win against Auburn.
- 46:14Speaker 1: So I see them turn it up quite a bit.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Georgia....
- 46:21Speaker 1: I want chaos. That's basically it. Because if I sit
- 46:24Speaker 1: there and I'm like, well, Georgia, it's like they run
- 46:26Speaker 1: the ball well. They had the handcuffs on Gunnar Stockton
- 46:28Speaker 1: a little bit. But he's shown, especially in the Alabama game,
- 46:31Speaker 1: that if he needs to, he can throw it into
- 46:32Speaker 1: tight windows. He's a better quarterback throwing it than people think.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Phenomenal on third down. But something about Ole Miss. Ole
- 46:38Speaker 2: Miss struggles on third down. Something about the chaos. Because
- 46:40Speaker 2: they lose. They have the big game against LSU. They
- 46:42Speaker 2: lose to Florida the next week, correct?
- 46:43Speaker 1: Mm-hmm. And everyone's kind of forgot about them. And then
- 46:46Speaker 1: they hold Missouri to 36 yards rushing. Because their front
- 46:50Speaker 1: seven was supposed to be the strength They kind of
- 46:51Speaker 1: fell apart, and now they're showing that they are the
- 46:54Speaker 1: strength again, especially between the tackles.
- 46:56Speaker 2: And what does Georgia love to do?
- 46:57Speaker 1: They love to run in between the tackles. So if
- 46:59Speaker 1: you make Georgia throw the football, and Gunnar Stockton has
- 47:02Speaker 1: a couple of turnovers like he did against Auburn, who's
- 47:05Speaker 1: to say that Ole Miss can't handle this game? So
- 47:07Speaker 1: give me two units, Ole Miss, Moneyline, chaos, play by me.
- 47:12Speaker 2: It's big of you. Thank you. We all want the
- 47:15Speaker 2: same thing, right? We all want to argue until the
- 47:18Speaker 2: season's over. I want to argue after the season's over.
- 47:20Speaker 2: Hell yeah. Whatever we want it to end. Exactly. So
- 47:23Speaker 2: you mentioned Ole Miss on third down there. They're in
- 47:25Speaker 2: like the one teens in third down.
- 47:28Speaker 4: The Georgia folks are kind of funny right now because
- 47:30Speaker 4: they're coming off points-wise of convincing land against Florida. But
- 47:35Speaker 4: the offense was nothing that was all that impressive. Now,
- 47:39Speaker 4: I look at that from a football standpoint, and I
- 47:41Speaker 4: say that's a coaching staff that understood very, very quickly
- 47:44Speaker 4: if we take knees offensively today, we're going to win.
- 47:47Speaker 4: Florida is in the process of giving a game away.
- 47:50Speaker 4: We're in the process defensively of taking the game from Florida.
- 47:53Speaker 4: It does not matter what we do offensively. I just
- 47:55Speaker 4: don't think they rev the engine offensively. I watched them
- 47:58Speaker 4: against Alabama. So I know Gunnar Stockton can make the throws.
- 48:02Speaker 4: I know that they can be razor sharp efficient on
- 48:04Speaker 4: the road in a hostile environment on third down. I
- 48:07Speaker 4: know they've got several different pass catchers that can come through.
- 48:10Speaker 4: I know they can really weaponize that tight end position.
- 48:12Speaker 4: And I know they can run the ball. As much
- 48:14Speaker 4: as I and everyone else remembers Ole Miss shutting Missouri
- 48:18Speaker 4: down on the ground, I remember Florida gashing them a
- 48:20Speaker 4: little bit. I remember Texas getting after them a little bit.
- 48:23Speaker 4: And so Georgia's going to be able to run the ball.
- 48:26Speaker 4: I just flat out think there's more in the tank
- 48:27Speaker 4: offensively than some people believe. If they need it, I
- 48:30Speaker 4: think it's going to be there for them. And if
- 48:34Speaker 4: Ole Miss just is 8 of 12 on third down,
- 48:37Speaker 4: it'll be an Ole Miss game. If it's really a
- 48:39Speaker 4: repeat of the Sugar Bowl last year, where Trinidad Chambliss
- 48:42Speaker 4: just takes matters into his own hands, Ole Miss will
- 48:44Speaker 4: probably win the game.
- 48:45Speaker 2: By the way, people won't remember this. That Georgia-Ole Miss game,
- 48:49Speaker 2: if you just go back and watch it, is one
- 48:50Speaker 2: of the most hard-hitting games that you will have seen
- 48:53Speaker 2: in the last 10 years in college football. It's not
- 48:55Speaker 2: remembered that way because it was a high-scoring game. It
- 48:57Speaker 2: was Trinidad Chambliss. They killed each other.
- 49:01Speaker 4: Gunnar Stockton took like three of the hardest hits that
- 49:03Speaker 4: I've seen a quarterback take, and it was all him,
- 49:05Speaker 4: all in the same game. I believe in Georgia enough
- 49:09Speaker 4: to lay those three and a half. It's very low confidence.
- 49:11Speaker 4: It's just one unit for me, but I will lay
- 49:13Speaker 4: the three and a half of Georgia on the road.
- 49:15Speaker 2: I'm a low confidence as well. I'm going two units
- 49:18Speaker 2: on this game. I'm taking Georgia to cover. For me,
- 49:21Speaker 2: all it comes down to is how teams have played.
- 49:23Speaker 2: Like to your point on Ole Miss, getting one here
- 49:26Speaker 2: is Gunnar Stockton that we know in the first six
- 49:29Speaker 2: weeks showing up versus Gunnar Stockton that we've seen in
- 49:31Speaker 2: the last two weeks. There's some fun little stats to
- 49:34Speaker 2: dive into. with Gunnar Stockton versus Mann and pressure. Like
- 49:39Speaker 2: if you get this dude to move his feet a
- 49:40Speaker 2: little bit, the last two weeks versus Blitz, he dropped
- 49:43Speaker 2: down to 56% versus Blitz. Versus the first six games
- 49:46Speaker 2: he had, he was thrown at 77%. Versus Mann, he's
- 49:51Speaker 2: been 50% the last two weeks. The first six games,
- 49:53Speaker 2: he was 70%. When you look at how teams have
- 49:56Speaker 2: attacked him, in those first six games collectively, He faced
- 50:01Speaker 2: 11 man pressures, okay? In the last two, there's been
- 50:06Speaker 2: 19 man pressures sent at him. So teams are figuring out, hey,
- 50:10Speaker 2: we got to get after this guy. We got to
- 50:12Speaker 2: get him moving his feet, and we got to win
- 50:14Speaker 2: in man coverage because he struggled a little bit more
- 50:16Speaker 2: in the last two of throwing those tighter windows. It's
- 50:19Speaker 2: all about if Ole Miss can get the pressure on him.
- 50:22Speaker 2: And hold up because the two in the middle that
- 50:25Speaker 2: you got to worry about, like if there's any leakage,
- 50:27Speaker 2: if I'm reaching for an offensive lineman that's given up
- 50:30Speaker 2: pressure for Georgia because there hasn't been many. It's Drew
- 50:33Speaker 2: Bobo who's given up seven pressures internally. And you're going
- 50:36Speaker 2: up against Will Echols and Cam Franklin who collectively they
- 50:39Speaker 2: have five sacks and 33. They've pressured the quarterback 33
- 50:42Speaker 2: times internally. So it's can Drew Bobo, can they hold
- 50:46Speaker 2: these cats up internally? And then can Gunner Stockton deliver
- 50:50Speaker 2: versus man coverage? I'm going with Gunner Stockton here because
- 50:54Speaker 2: I just believe, to your point, they got it in them.
- 50:57Speaker 2: They have the weapons. It's just, am I going to
- 51:00Speaker 2: put my stock in Gunner Stockton showing up? That answer
- 51:02Speaker 2: is going to be yes. So I have two units
- 51:05Speaker 2: on Georgia to cover, minus three and a half. It's
- 51:07Speaker 2: the safe bet.
- 51:08Speaker 4: This game's happening simultaneous to Miami-Notre Dame. It's happening after
- 51:13Speaker 4: we've already watched Holy War, after we've already watched Texas-Missouri,
- 51:16Speaker 4: after we've already watched Alabama-LSU.
- 51:19Speaker 2: Kentucky, Tennessee just kicked off when this thing's going on.
- 51:22Speaker 4: Can you imagine how fast your brain is spinning by
- 51:26Speaker 4: this point Saturday?
- 51:31Speaker 2: Especially if you've seen chaos throughout the day already. Oh, man.
- 51:34Speaker 1: Because those things tend to just compound on top of
- 51:38Speaker 1: each other. When teams start losing that shit and lose
- 51:39Speaker 1: it or are favored, Georgia's sitting there in that late
- 51:43Speaker 1: evening slate. We've seen a bunch of favored teams go down.
- 51:46Speaker 1: It's going to be spooky for Georgia post-Spooktober.
- 51:49Speaker 2: And there's a part of me that's almost regretting not
- 51:51Speaker 2: taking the over here because it's like, we might just
- 51:53Speaker 2: get this physical shootout again. You can still take the over.
- 51:56Speaker 2: I know I can, but I'm going with Georgia. Because
- 52:00Speaker 2: I love the defense. Like, I believe in that defense. Yeah. Like,
- 52:04Speaker 2: Trinidad can go off. Gunner Stockson that we're talking about
- 52:07Speaker 2: shows up, and it's just a physical shootout once again.
- 52:09Speaker 1: I'm going to hate myself if he overhits. The defense,
- 52:14Speaker 1: like those off-ball linebackers, if anybody's going to be able
- 52:16Speaker 1: to run and contain Trinidad-Chambers, it's going to be those
- 52:19Speaker 1: guys being able to spy. They're that freakish athletically.
- 52:22Speaker 2: And the majority of those guys that felt what this
- 52:24Speaker 2: Ole Miss offense did to them last year, the majority
- 52:26Speaker 2: of them are still in that room. Just need those
- 52:29Speaker 2: boys to show up. Need those boys to show up.
- 52:32Speaker 2: In Oxford. In Oxford. Night game. World misses damn good.
- 52:36Speaker 2: Already took LSU down at home. Speaking of LSU, we
- 52:41Speaker 2: got Alabama at LSU. Not a night game.
- 52:43Speaker 1: Lane Kiffin says he understands that the whole college football
- 52:47Speaker 1: world is against him by making it that way. LSU
- 52:49Speaker 1: is favored by five and a half points. Total in
- 52:51Speaker 1: that game is 52 and a half.
- 52:55Speaker 2: Gentlemen. This game is so confusing to me. Because Bama's
- 53:01Speaker 2: getting healthy. Again, Zabian Brownback, they're getting– I think so anyway.
- 53:06Speaker 2: That's what Coach DeBoer has alluded to. Right. Reading between
- 53:10Speaker 2: the lines, you're getting back Terrence Green. You're getting back
- 53:12Speaker 2: Zabian Brown. You're getting back Ryan Coleman-Williams. You're getting back
- 53:15Speaker 2: your center. Cruel. Running back. Yes. Yeah, one of their
- 53:20Speaker 2: starting running backs. Dude, this Bama team healthy has shown
- 53:25Speaker 2: that they are so good and they can be so
- 53:27Speaker 2: good if that team's showing up. I like him here.
- 53:30Speaker 2: It's so hard because I can't get like what LSU
- 53:35Speaker 2: has defensively. It's what Tennessee had and it's pass rush.
- 53:40Speaker 2: They have the catch across the board talent wise. And
- 53:43Speaker 2: just the Tennessee game just in my head of them
- 53:46Speaker 2: getting after Keelan Russell and That's where I'm just so
- 53:51Speaker 2: confused because I want to take Bama with the points,
- 53:54Speaker 2: but part of me is like, man, LSU could just
- 53:57Speaker 2: out-physical this team because Sam Levitz looked like the best
- 54:00Speaker 2: QB in the SEC over the last couple weeks. Granted,
- 54:03Speaker 2: he's played Mississippi State and Auburn who haven't been able
- 54:05Speaker 2: to get pressure to him. He's phenomenal when he's clean.
- 54:08Speaker 2: But if Bama's able to cut it up a little bit,
- 54:11Speaker 2: like they have some good pass rushers as well, that's
- 54:13Speaker 2: where it becomes a game. So it's, I have no clue.
- 54:16Speaker 2: And I think I'm going Bama with the points. I
- 54:18Speaker 2: think I'm going Bama with the points. Give me one
- 54:21Speaker 2: unit right now because I feel like I need to
- 54:22Speaker 2: hear you guys tell me something. I gotta wait for
- 54:25Speaker 2: this rain to calm down a little bit. Three or
- 54:27Speaker 2: four minutes.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Hey, we're going to end up this episode to bring
- 54:29Speaker 1: you Cracker Barrel. We know a thing or two about pancakes.
- 54:33Speaker 1: We've spent generations perfecting the world's best pancakes made with buttermilk,
- 54:38Speaker 1: light and fluffy with signature crispy golden edges. And when
- 54:41Speaker 1: you know what it takes to make the best pancakes,
- 54:44Speaker 1: you know a great pancake when you see one, whether
- 54:47Speaker 1: it's served on a plate or delivered on a football field.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Offensive linemen have been delivering pancake blocks for decades, but
- 54:54Speaker 1: they've never gotten the official statistical recognition as Chief Pancake
- 54:58Speaker 1: Officer at Cracker Barrel. I'm working with offensive linemen across
- 55:02Speaker 1: the country to help define pancake blocks and champion its
- 55:05Speaker 1: place in the game. Great pancakes deserve credit, including the
- 55:09Speaker 1: ones happening between the sidelines. Whether it's the world's best
- 55:12Speaker 1: pancake or the best pancake blocks, we know a great
- 55:15Speaker 1: pancake deserves recognition. Fans can join the movement to make
- 55:20Speaker 1: the Pancake Block an official stat by signing the petition
- 55:23Speaker 1: at MakePancakeBlocksOfficial.com. Every pancake eaten will count towards the petition.
- 55:31Speaker 1: Visit your local Cracker Barrel pre- or post-game to join
- 55:35Speaker 1: the movement.
- 55:37Speaker 2: Pancakes. Pancakes. CPO approved. We're back. Rain's down a little bit.
- 55:43Speaker 2: You just broke down all the Alabama stuff. Not all
- 55:46Speaker 2: of it, but yeah.
- 55:46Speaker 1: You broke down how Alabama's getting healthier. But you also,
- 55:50Speaker 1: you sprinkled over the fact that Sam Leavitt has been
- 55:53Speaker 1: the best quarterback. Might have been the best quarterback. He
- 55:55Speaker 1: has been the best quarterback in the month this week, Joe.
- 55:58Speaker 2: He's had.
- 55:58Speaker 1: 12 touchdowns, two interceptions, and he has a 75% completion percentage.
- 56:03Speaker 1: That completion percentage is number one in college football. You
- 56:07Speaker 1: brought up LSU and their ability to get to the quarterback.
- 56:10Speaker 1: They're also number one in rush defense in the SEC.
- 56:13Speaker 1: So they're able to stop the run versus a team
- 56:15Speaker 1: who has struggled to run the football.
- 56:17Speaker 2: It's in Baton Rouge.
- 56:20Speaker 1: This has got LSU minus five and a half written
- 56:22Speaker 1: all over it. This has got chaos taking place. This
- 56:25Speaker 1: is five units.
- 56:27Speaker 2: Five units. On LSU.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Lane Kiffin, hey, if you need to start drinking earlier,
- 56:33Speaker 1: go to bed earlier on a Friday. He is sat
- 56:36Speaker 1: at a podium and he has said, this is what
- 56:39Speaker 1: we envisioned when we created this team, what this last
- 56:41Speaker 1: month has been for them. Regardless of the logos that
- 56:44Speaker 1: have taken place and all that, he's talking about teams
- 56:46Speaker 1: getting hot at the right time. This is a team
- 56:48Speaker 1: getting hot at the right time. This is a team
- 56:50Speaker 1: sitting at 14. We know that's putting them in a
- 56:53Speaker 1: position based on they have their entire schedule in front
- 56:55Speaker 1: of them. They're sitting there, and I want you to
- 56:56Speaker 1: remember week one when Lane Kiffin is talking about the
- 56:59Speaker 1: Clemson game, and there's that psychopath just rocking back and forth.
- 57:04Speaker 1: Guarantee that room's got 15 more guys rocking back and forth.
- 57:07Speaker 1: They're getting hot at the right time. Their defense is
- 57:10Speaker 1: playing elite-level football. They got guys that can rush the passer.
- 57:13Speaker 1: They're running the football incredibly well. Their offensive line is
- 57:16Speaker 1: playing much better as a unit. And Alabama has done
- 57:20Speaker 1: this while LSU has done that similar to the BYU-Utah game.
- 57:24Speaker 1: I love LSU in this scenario.
- 57:26Speaker 2: I love them. You're not concerned that DeBoer is 6-0
- 57:29Speaker 2: coming off buys? No.
- 57:31Speaker 4: You're not concerned. Sorry, he's 8-0 coming off buys. You're
- 57:34Speaker 4: not concerned Bama is 6-1 their last 7 in Death Valley?
- 57:36Speaker 2: Nope. This doesn't concern you?
- 57:37Speaker 1: 7-1 against a head coach that had a fake Southern accent.
- 57:42Speaker 2: Now they've got one in there who's 9-6 off a
- 57:44Speaker 2: buy week. So you're good now. I'm good now.
- 57:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 57:47Speaker 4: So I'm with you, actually. I'm going to lay the
- 57:48Speaker 4: points with LSU. Sometimes I have to probe. I have
- 57:50Speaker 4: to make sure you believe in your five unit.
- 57:52Speaker 2: I love that.
- 57:53Speaker 4: Because you swore off anything other than a four unit
- 57:55Speaker 4: for a long time. And then it was three is
- 57:56Speaker 4: the new four. Three is also the new one. And
- 57:59Speaker 4: now you threw all that in the blender. Now you're
- 58:00Speaker 4: back to bat in five units.
- 58:01Speaker 2: I'm as consistent as this college football season has been.
- 58:04Speaker 2: I love it.
- 58:04Speaker 4: Okay. The reason I'm not confident on this game, but
- 58:07Speaker 4: I will lay the points is. Like you, I cannot
- 58:10Speaker 4: shake the Neyland Stadium Alabama game out of my head. Also,
- 58:14Speaker 4: I cannot ignore that even when Bama was healthy, they've
- 58:17Speaker 4: not scored a touchdown on the opening drive all year.
- 58:19Speaker 4: They've only scored on the opening drive all year once.
- 58:22Speaker 4: And if they don't get off to a hot start here,
- 58:24Speaker 4: the mental creep starts to come in. That pass rush
- 58:28Speaker 4: starts to get after you. LSU probably grabs a lead.
- 58:31Speaker 4: And there you go, unable to run the ball, playing
- 58:33Speaker 4: from behind, bad game script again. So all that has
- 58:36Speaker 4: me scared enough to where My pick is LSU minus
- 58:39Speaker 4: five and a half. The reason I'm not going close
- 58:42Speaker 4: to the slap the table neighborhood. The reason I'm just
- 58:44Speaker 4: going to go two units on that is I do
- 58:47Speaker 4: remember what that team's capable of to Will's point before
- 58:51Speaker 4: they got banged up. I still remember what that offense
- 58:53Speaker 4: looked like when they were hanging 45 plus a game.
- 58:56Speaker 2: And I still know that's there. Like technically that's there also.
- 58:59Speaker 4: Even though LSU's played Trinidad Chambliss, they haven't faced a
- 59:02Speaker 4: quarterback that can weaponize his legs post-play breakdown like Keelan
- 59:06Speaker 4: Russell has been able to all year. So like that
- 59:09Speaker 4: pass rush, it should be able to get after Alabama
- 59:11Speaker 4: a little bit. That should happen. It could also be
- 59:14Speaker 4: broken plays that lead to the big plays for Alabama
- 59:17Speaker 4: that opens the game up a little bit. So I
- 59:19Speaker 4: don't discount that as a possibility, but The other wild
- 59:24Speaker 4: card is Bama's been really good at forcing turnovers and
- 59:27Speaker 4: really good at scoring defensively. And LSU's like 73rd in takeaways.
- 59:31Speaker 4: So there's that. And if you were to be able
- 59:33Speaker 4: to predict that, great. I can't predict that. So I
- 59:36Speaker 4: do know that I think LSU's getting hot. I do
- 59:39Speaker 4: know that I think they're healthy at the right time,
- 59:40Speaker 4: just like Alabama's healthy at the right time. Last time
- 59:43Speaker 4: I saw Bama go on the road, it was a disaster.
- 59:45Speaker 4: It's really that easy for me. If they prove me wrong,
- 59:47Speaker 4: they prove me wrong. But I'll lay the five and
- 59:48Speaker 4: a half for two units.
- 59:51Speaker 2: Yeah. Sam Leavitt re-enters his name in the Heisman race
- 59:53Speaker 2: after this week. Oh, really? Yeah. He entered the Heisman race.
- 59:57Speaker 2: He's entering his name back in the Heisman race. Well,
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: that's bold. Give me the over. Three units on the over.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Oh, man.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: That's a good breakdown. That's a really good breakdown. Can
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: I tell you guys something?
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Whether I'm at a tailgate on the couch watching Nebraska
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: or Michigan on a Saturday, Jack Daniels is a staple
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: in my game day roster. Go and expand your playbook
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: with the cinnamon cake of Jack Fire, the smooth taste
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: of Jack Honey, and a crisp, refreshing Jack Apple. And
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: the only Blackberry bursting with Jack. Personally, I'm a Jack
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Honey guy. Got a little sweetness to me. I'm the
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: type of guy on game day that likes a little
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Jack Honey in my system. No matter how you stack
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: your unit, there's a Jack for every football fan.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: Let's get back to this episode. We got the Arians
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: game of the week right now. Winter's coming. Get you
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: a snowblower. All right. Dial it in. Snow will fall.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: You'll be pissed off. Blow it away with the best
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: in the game. Arians. All right. Arians game of the week.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Miami versus Notre Dame in South Bend. Notre Dame, five
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: and a half point favorites. Total in this game is
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: 57 and a half. We've already talked about it. We've
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: already talked about how this is a must win. This
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: is a do or die situation. Notre Dame season.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: Starts and ends today. with this game right here.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: SMU didn't do many favors. Wisconsin hasn't done any favors.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: I'm going to lean over to our Notre Dame bias, Wilcompton.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: What do you got for us, kid? This right here,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: this beautiful nectar you see in front of you, that's
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: called Lucy. Those things have a little side, a little
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: thing inside them that has a little bite and burst
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: that immediately gets them flavored. They also go up 12
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: milligrams in case you need to lock in a little
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: bit more. If I'm traveling around the country and I'm
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: doing podcasts day after day, show after show, getting in
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Josh Pate's face about why Alabama is probably going to
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: lose this week, I need to lock in because that
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: guy comes correct.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: Do me a favor.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Listen to this fine print real quick. Lucy is the

- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Every customer's age verified. this product contains nicotine.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: Nicotine is an addictive chemical. This is Notre Dame. When
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: you look into the weeds of this game, it's all
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: gonna come down to Notre Dame's ability to pressure with
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: four and five. Because Mensah against the Blitz, if you
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: just look up those numbers, he's 87%. But when you
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: can get pressure on this young man and get him
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: to move his feet, throw on the run, get him
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: just affected in the pocket, it drops to 50%. I've
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: talked about it for a few weeks now. I feel
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: like Miami's offensive line is leaky up front. And I
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: feel like Notre Dame has the talent to take advantage
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: of that and get pressure. Also, when you look at
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: the other side, every quarterback that is winning against Miami,
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: a power four quarterback, they have thrown for around 300 yards.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Clemson was able to throw for 295. And I just,
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: I got to believe that CJ Carr is going to
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: throw for 300 plus against this weak Miami secondary. So
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: for those two keys to the game, I like Notre
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: Dame to cover minus five and a half. And with
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: the extra juice, we've all known that both of these teams,
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: especially Notre Dame, has had this game circled for about
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: a year now because the head-to-head last year, all the
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: stuff Miami versus Notre Dame that took place. Now knowing
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: that they're ranked in the slot that they are in
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: the CFP rankings, there's just that extra juice, that extra edge.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: They have to have this game. where Miami can afford
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: to drop this one. So I like Notre Dame at home,
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: night game, to cover minus five and a half. Well said.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: Notre Dame, CJ Carr's current quarterback, Miami's defense is super
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: leaky on the back end. And you brought up a
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: great point of Notre Dame's had this game circled because
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: of what happened last year. But they've had their whole
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: season from last year circled as well about the disrespect
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: that's taken place and we're going to run it and
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: look how easy their schedule is. yet they still dropped
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: to BYU or Provo. So that is, as much as
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: you want to have a storyline of backs against the wall,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: chip on the shoulder mentality, you had a chance to
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: prove it to not even be in the position of
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: a do or die situation in week 10, and you
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: lost that opportunity against BYU. And you got beaten in
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: a way where it was really one guy, Bear Bachmeier.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Miami has a lot of weapons on the opposite side
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: of the ball. You brought up Mensah. Malachi, Tony, was
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: it Barcade? Barcade, like, and then the running back. I
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: don't know why I'm forgetting his name.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: Fletcher. Fletcher. They got a couple. Yeah, and Mark Fletcher.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: He's awesome.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: We got to meet him in the spring. Like, incredible person.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: they have insanely talented skill position guys all over the field.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: So I could see Miami keeping pace with them in
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: a lot of ways. I do agree with their offensive line.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: Very leaky.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: There's times you put on the film and you're watching
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: the left tackle on a different, uh, different pages, the
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: left guard and the left guard goes down, help center
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: tackle fans out. And the defensive end is just sitting
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: in the hole against UNC where you're like, you guys
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: just got to communicate that and you're not getting a TFL.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: So there's like Leaky things that we said early in
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: the season, hey, this seems like an Achilles heel for them,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: but Mario Cristobal, we should never doubt that they're off
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: its line, yet we sit here more than halfway through
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: the regular season, and the question mark still remains on
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: the offensive line and how they're not getting better. They're
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: playing a lot of young guys, they're filtering guys out.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Notre Dame, to me, the question mark on them has
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: been running the football. There's been times they've answered that question.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: There's been times we go back to questioning them on that.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: This is not a game for Notre Dame to even
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: have to run the ball. They have to be like
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Arizona where they're opportunistic in the run game, where they're
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: just backing everybody out and 11 personnel just hand it
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: off once or twice. Because CJ Carr is one of
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: the best quarterbacks in the country. When I look at this,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: I see this as a shootout taking place in South Bend.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: All they have 57 and a half points.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: And I love the idea of Notre Dame with the
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: home field advantage, them being a more complete team top
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: to bottom, not having the clear holes that Miami has
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: in the secondary, and CJ Carr dicing them up, having
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: that 300-plus yard game in the air and having multiple touchdowns.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: But I can also see.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Miami easily keeping pace with them. So I'm going to
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: go over 57.5 here. I'll do four units on that.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: I think there's going to be.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: I mean, Miami on offense... is much better than BYU
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: on offense. And BYU is able to have a lot
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: of success. What happens when all those aliens are on
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: the field against a team we said was the best secondary,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: one of the best defenses in college football? And then
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: we already know what CJ Carr can do and what
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: he's been able to do throughout the year.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: So I'll take the over. You took Notre Dame. You
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: took total. You took over. Yes.
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: So I'm a believer we have not seen CJ Carr's best.
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: I think they also know They've got to put it
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: on his shoulders here. You cannot count on running the
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: ball overly effectively against Miami.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: If you do, great. I don't think they will. I
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: think they'll run it good enough.
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: But the running back rotation you thought they'd have versus
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: the one that they're going with right now, radically different
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: from the first of the year.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: So it is on CJ Carr's shoulders.
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: The thing about him taking a disproportionate load on his
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: shoulders is he's 3-3 in games where he throws it.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: 30 plus times. He's 0-3 in one possession games. So
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: as much as I think he's got it in him
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: to be a big game quarterback, he hasn't won big games.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: That's okay because God's giving you another one this week
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: to go win. Also, I feel like when we watch Miami,
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: first off, you've got the whole desperation on Notre Dame's side.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: We got to win it. They want to win it.
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: 44 degrees at kickoff, if that means anything to you
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: with Miami. It means something to me because we've been
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: able to wear short sleeves all year. And so that's done.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: That's heartbreak. What I love, though. Is it done? I
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: learned my lesson from Indiana.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: Fair.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: I did, too. I did, too.
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: Malachi Toney, probably the best player on the field in
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: this game. Leonard Moore is really good. Talk about him.
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: Leonard Moore faced Makai Lemon last year and gave up
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: two catches for 23 yards. I am not saying that
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: Makai Lemon is the equal to Malachi Toney. Toney is
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: a very, very good receiver. If Jeremiah Smith didn't exist,
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: then he would be the poster child for the sport
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: this year. But I do think Leonard Moore is the
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: closest you will come to being someone who can shadow
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: him and who can contest him all night. That just
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: means to me a lot of those other receivers that
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: are very much living in his shadow have the ability
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: to emerge. And if you remember when they got Toney,
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: or not when they got Toney, when they got Darian
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: Mintz out of the transfer portal. Very quietly, he came
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: with Cooper Barcait. Cooper Barcait was Duke's best receiver last year.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: And Cooper Barcait's had a good year so far, but
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: he has not had a game where he has to
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: truly step up and go like seven catches for 190
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: in a touchdown. And this is probably the game where
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: he needs to do that. I just look at five
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: and a half points in a game where the total's
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: in the upper 50s. Total in the upper 50s means
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: back and forth higher scoring to me. Five and a
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: half points is a lot of points.
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: Even though that's a higher variance kind of outcome, the
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: higher the total goes, you're giving me five and a
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: half points in a game you think is going to
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: be a shootout. It's just too many. So, you know,
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: model thinks Notre Dame wins, but it thinks Notre Dame
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: wins very, very, very close. So any points that I'm
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: getting above a field goal, I'm taking, I'm taking Miami
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: plus five and a half two units two units two units.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: Tell you what who is the receiver you compared to
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: Malachi Tony give me three we've moved on Yeah, game
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: ain't based on sympathy, dude. Two different wide receivers. They
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: are two different wide receivers. Malachi Toney, he's got that
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: fucking juice about him. Oh, he does. He's phenomenal. He's
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: about that action. When you want a guy on him,
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: it is Leonard Moore. No doubt. But the USC wide
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: receivers who we're talking about, right? Yep. The minute he
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: got up on the podium to combine, he was off
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: my chest. You know?
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Malachi Toney ain't walking up on that. With the eye
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: and the, you know, playing a character. This dude's about
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: that action. And as little as he is, dude, he's
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: a physical little fucker. I'm a big, I just want
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: to say that. I'm a big Malachi Tony guy. Love
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: the points in this game. What does your little baby
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: model say about the points?
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: It says Notre Dame minus two and a half should
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: be the number. It says the line is inflated by three,
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: which is borderline unprecedented for a big game. But I
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: found out last night, the model and fan duel differ wildly.
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: on their respective opinions of Notre Dame. FanDuel's higher on
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: Notre Dame. And FanDuel, just a little FYI, it has
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: nothing to do with this game, way higher on Texas
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: than the model is. So we bank that for down
- 1:10:14Speaker 4: the road. So I'm going to take advantage of what
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: I think is maybe a little bit of an overinflated line.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: We haven't even mentioned the Notre Dame injuries up front defensively.
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: Those are big injuries. And see, here's what I think
- 1:10:24Speaker 4: about Miami's offensive line. When you watch them, You said
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: they've been leaky, like they've been very inconsistent, they've been
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: vulnerable to tackle, but when you watch them just take
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: their personnel and their ability level, do they not strike
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: you as a group that still, if they ever put
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: it all together, could be a really high-level unit?
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: Yeah, they could, but right there you're betting on if
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: going into this game. That's correct, but games are played
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: in the future. And even defensive line, it's like they
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: have good pass rushers, but they don't have these game
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: wreckers like they did with Bain and Mesador last year
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: that took over that game when it was the one
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: score game earlier in the year when they played.
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: So think about this. This time last year, Miami's already
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: a two loss team. We're remembering Miami from the team
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: that went on a run to the national title.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: They weren't that at this time last year. So I'm
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: asking myself, is Miami built to start peaking at the
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: right time again? Because you have to think in future tense.
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: You can't be thinking in past tense with a team
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: like that. Because they just showed you last year what
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: we are in September and October pales in comparison to
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: what we may be in November and December. And I'm
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: curious about Alabama getting healthy.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: Do they do that? I'm curious about Miami. Already having
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: proof of concept from a year ago. Do they do
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: something like that here?
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: And so just the mere possibility that that happens, if
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: you're going to give me five and a half points
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: in that possibility, I'm okay taking that.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: Bump it up, dude. I'm not doing it. I'm not
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: doing it. Go to four. I went two. You just
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: want me to skip three? Yeah. Why not? I'll tell
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: you why. Because I think Notre Dame is going to
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: win the game. Okay, but you said them close. I
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: just can't believe you still think peer pressure works on me. No, no, no.
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: I'm just saying, hey, we're having fun. It's just a show.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: It's just a show. I'm bummed the line has went
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: up to five and a half because they were at
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: three and a half last week and I was telling
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: a couple of the boys, I was like, I think
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: I'm moving this line to six and a half and
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: I forgot to take it.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: As big of a question mark in Miami's offensive line
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: has been, Notre Dame has been incredible. That's where it's
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: like CJ Carr at the edge. When they're running the football,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: they're running backs. in protection are incredible. Like they put
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: their face in it and you can just, they're always
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: on the same page. There might always be the result
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: that they want, but their offensive line is, you never
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: think to yourself, Oh, this guy didn't know what he
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: was doing with Miami. You can look at multiple times
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: a game, like one or two guys like, Oh, he
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: has no idea where the rest of the offensive line
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: is going. That's something that by week 10 should be
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: fixed because spoiler about Miami's offense. It's not incredibly complex.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: It's inside zone, it's a duo, it's very basic offensive
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: line techniques and things that they're just overlooking basic stuff
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: like when you put a shade on a tight five
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: and a will linebacker on the edge where the tackle's
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: fanning and the guard's going down and the end just
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: sits there. Notre Dame, I have seen maybe three plays
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: all season where someone messes up. Notre Dame's offensive line
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: is very impressive and maybe even more impressive than that.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Their running back room, the way they put their face
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: in blocks Like, CJ Carr, I think, is going to
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: have a lot of time.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: A lot of time in this game. I think I
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: would probably lean Notre Dame. But five and a half
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: is a lot. It is. It is. And they were
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: ten and a half point favorites versus BYU. Mm-hmm. And
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: never controlled a bit of the game. Never.
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: Had to come from behind to even have a shot
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: at the end. It's not like they got backdoored or
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: anything like that. It's not like the Texas-Ohio State thing
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: where big lead all of a sudden.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: What just happened? Right. It was not that at all.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: It was like they kicked off and BYU controlled the
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: entire game for 59 minutes and 59 seconds.
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: This game makes me the most nervous of any game
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: on the board this week. Really? Yeah.
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: I'm not talking about nervous like for my pick. Just
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: nervous as in you know the stakes that are riding
- 1:14:06Speaker 4: on it. We're going to be there. So there's the
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: added bonus. But just like thinking about this is like
- 1:14:10Speaker 4: a chew your fingernails to the nub type of game.
- 1:14:13Speaker 4: Because this is better than playoffs to me. These regular
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: season games on campuses, Camp I, are better than playoffs
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: to me.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: They're huge. You talk about those kind of games 30,
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: 40 years. Yeah. And this is probably the only game where,
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: like if Notre Dame does lose, you don't see a
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: world that get back in the playoff conversation. I really don't.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: All these other games you're talking about, as much as
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: they mean something, you can find ways for, okay, Ole
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Miss loses to Georgia.
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: Ole Miss can do X, Y, and Z to get in.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: Same with Georgia. Same with LSU. Same with Bama. Tennessee.
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: Kentucky.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: Kentucky. All those teams are like... They would just need
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: so many teams to just lose. You don't control your
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: destiny if you lose, but you can still look down
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: the hall and see a path to get there. With
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: Notre Dame... Deep, long hall with a very small light.
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: You'll have no win. Some of them, yeah. You'll have
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: no win. Alabama, no. Right? We had that conversation. Georgia, no.
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: Ole Miss, yes. LSU, yes. But the committee telling you
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: that their biggest value piece in the whole ranking system
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: is quality wins. That's it. It's not consistency. It's not
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: like the record, the win-loss column. It's none of that.
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: And Notre Dame would have zero. And no shot to
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: get one. Yeah. Right. Okay, what if– I don't even
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: know who SMU plays this week. Well, they just lost
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: to Syracuse.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: They just lost to Syracuse, but let's say they get
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: a dominant win over whoever.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: They still got Wake. SMU still got Wake. That would
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: be a fun game.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: They play Virginia Tech. Isn't there five and a half
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: point favorites? Because I think I saw that.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: I don't know that SMU's done losing.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: I don't know either, but let's just say SMU blows
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: Virginia Tech out of the water.
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: Best case scenario, you get a fringe top 25 win.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. You get into a top 24,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: top 25. Is that enough for Notre Dame to get
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: that signature win in the top 25?
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: Think about how insane that question is, by the way. Right? Right?
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: That's just crazy. A fringe top 25 win. To me,
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: this is it. This is the entire weekend for Notre Dame.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: UCLA is the same position.
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: When you close your eyes and you think about Selection Sunday,
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: is Notre Dame in that picture? Because I still see
- 1:16:19Speaker 4: them in the picture. I just have a hard time
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: believing Notre Dame's eliminated on November 7th from playoff conversation.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I see that. It's crazy to think about.
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: Because I see Notre Dame winning this game. Yeah. It's
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: all about chaos. It's all about chaos. Chaos is not
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: done at all. We feel good? Yeah. Oh, wait, we
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: got it. We got Super Slate. We got Dogs. We
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: got Parleys. Let me find this little Super Slate card.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: I know where I'm going with Super Slate. UCLA-Minnesota is
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: my Super Slate game. UCLA, five and a half point favorites. Tulsa,
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: 39 and a half. Minnesota is a sneaky team. I mean,
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: they brought Indiana down to the wire. They obviously beat Michigan.
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: earlier in the season.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: They've just been a team that kind of lingers around
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: other than the Mississippi State game. And I don't see
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: that really changing with UCLA having to travel out to Minnesota.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: Flex got this fucking rain, man.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Oh, the rain! All right, this is going to last
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: for a second. Game, Minnesota! Plus five and a half! Yeah!
- 1:17:23Speaker 4: All right, Oregon's going to Ohio State this week. I
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: think Dylan Riola's got it in him to at least
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: get inside this number.
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: I think something weird could happen. Can you hear me? Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: Oregon's not out of the Big Ten championship picture.
- 1:17:44Speaker 4: And I think I'm the only person on the planet,
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: maybe even including Dan Lanning, who is aware of that.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: I think Oregon's going to play him tough. I'll take
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: Oregon plus seven and a half. Do you think they
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: could actually beat Ohio State? No. Yes. Got it. Yep.
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: If they do, holy shit, right? No doubt. That'd be crazy.
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: Three losses for Ohio State.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Chaos.
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: Bye. See you later. Kitchen Evers. Yeah. Give me Missouri
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: plus two and a half hosting Texas this weekend. The
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: injuries that have taken place for Texas, one of the
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: most inconsistent football teams in the game right now. Give
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: me Missouri plus two and a half at home this weekend.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: Sneaky game. Love that play. Chaos slate for sure. Hey,
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: are these one unit games? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Be
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: a little louder. Are these one unit games? Yes. Do
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: you want to put more units on it? No, these
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: are one unit. I'm sure we could change the rules. Listen,
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: I want to abide, man. He wants to put more
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: units on it. Just give me a unit. We got
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: plus 100 to cover two and a half.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Dogs of the week. I got Vanderbilt Moneyline. versus Mississippi
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: State at Mississippi State. Saw Cade McConnell yesterday.
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: He looks healthy. He looks hardy. Fired up for Vanderbilt.
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: Rain's gone. I think we should keep the volume the same.
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: My dog, you had it on the super slate. I
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: like Minnesota plus five and a half at home against UCLA.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: Texas A & M' s rested. South Carolina's double due down.
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: I need South Carolina to just win this week. It's
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: going to be ugly. I don't love the spot. Weird
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: stuff's going to happen. I just need them to win
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: by one, win by three, whatever. Model says seven and
- 1:19:29Speaker 4: a half's too many for Texas A & M. I
- 1:19:31Speaker 4: just have an itch on my face. That's the only
- 1:19:33Speaker 4: reason I'm covering my face right now. I'm not trying
- 1:19:35Speaker 4: to avoid anybody. That's not how I live my life.
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: I will take Texas A & M plus seven and
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: a half as my dog.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: Of the week. Perfect. Get to parlay, shall we, boys? LSU, Alabama.
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: I got the over.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: All total, 49 and a half. Just take that down
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: a couple of points. Arizona, Moneyline. UCLA, minus two and
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: a half.
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: See what I got there? They cover, but you guys understand.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: Colorado State, plus 17 and a half. And I have Nebraska, Moneyline.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: Getting back on track after a three-game skid. Total is
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: plus 862. That's the lightest one in the sheet, boys.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: That's nice, too. My weekly parlay, four games that we've
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: talked about. Notre Dame to cover five and a half.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: Tennessee to cover six and a half. Minnesota to cover
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: five and a half. And Missouri to cover plus two
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: and a half. That totals out to 1240. Give me
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: Missouri money line.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: Give me Penn State Moneyline. And give me Syracuse over
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: Clemson Moneyline. For plus 888. The Triple Snowman, as Neymar
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: would call it. The Triple Snowman. With an Arian's Lawnmower. Snowblower.
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: It's all a trap, man.
- 1:20:56Speaker 5: I can't wait for this week.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: What is the plan Saturday? Because my goal is we
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: just find somewhere to sit and watch football all day long.
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: I'm thinking about having Katie let me in early, all
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: by myself if I have to, so I can find
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: some quiet place inside Notre Dame Stadium to have three
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: screens in front of me and not move until kickoff.
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: I love that. I love it. How early are you talking? Early. Morning.
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: Like, let me be there for Holy War. Like, let
- 1:21:34Speaker 4: me be in there by the time those noon games
- 1:21:37Speaker 4: kick off.
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: I do that kind of stuff. I just go hide
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: all day. I respect that.
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: Be alone. With Jesse standing somewhere.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: Friday night, there's whispers of a possible going to a
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: high school football game.
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: Yeah? Would you be interested in that? Well, you know,
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: I have a live show in South Bend Friday night,
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: so probably not. Oh, shit. I guess we're doing a
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: live show in South Bend Friday night. Nebraska plays Friday night. Illinois.
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: We're not going to a high school football game this week.
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: That's a big one, bro. That's a lot going on.
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: We'll see you guys next time. Big hugs, tiny kisses.
