- 0:35Speaker 3: Yo, Yo, Yo? What's up? What's up? Family?
- 0:39Speaker 4: Hey?
- 0:39Speaker 3: Welcome back to his High Radio podcast where faith, hope,
- 0:43Speaker 3: and hip hop bring God glory. We lived up the
- 0:48Speaker 3: name of Jesus Christ on this podcast and I'm your host.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Mister has happened Today? We begin Jeremiah chapter seven, one
- 0:58Speaker 3: of the most famous sermons Jeremiah ever preached. Now, this
- 1:04Speaker 3: message is often called the Temple sermon. God instructs Jeremiah
- 1:11Speaker 3: to standing at the gate of the temple and confront
- 1:15Speaker 3: people who believe that simple attending church, or in their case,
- 1:22Speaker 3: the temple, would protect them from judgment. Their confidence was
- 1:31Speaker 3: in the building rather than in the God who created
- 1:36Speaker 3: the building. You know what I mean. In Romans, it
- 1:40Speaker 3: says that people are prone to worship the creature rather
- 1:46Speaker 3: than the creator, a very, very horrible mistake, and so
- 1:51Speaker 3: we're going to dive into it. Today's message is called
- 1:55Speaker 3: the Temple of the Lord. But we want to invite
- 1:59Speaker 3: you to get all you can out of each and
- 2:01Speaker 3: every time we come together, we go live on the
- 2:04Speaker 3: radio station, meet us in our live chat every day
- 2:08Speaker 3: and Monday through Saturday at eleven am specific standard time.
- 2:13Speaker 3: There's always someone onnerstand by stand by, well actually me
- 2:21Speaker 3: and my brother's zone. We log in and we check.
- 2:25Speaker 3: We want to check on people to see if y'all
- 2:27Speaker 3: need prayer, there's any prayer request out there, to see
- 2:30Speaker 3: if y'all want a fellowship, And the main thing is
- 2:34Speaker 3: to hold each other accountable. The Bible said, it's a
- 2:37Speaker 3: narrow path that leads to life, and it's so easy
- 2:44Speaker 3: for us to get distracted. It's the broad road that
- 2:47Speaker 3: leads to destruction. And so we're trying to get as
- 2:50Speaker 3: many people off of that broad road as possible and
- 2:55Speaker 3: get them on that narrow path. And no one said
- 2:58Speaker 3: that it had to be lonely, right, your fellowship, encourage
- 3:01Speaker 3: each other, strengthen each other in our faith. As we
- 3:06Speaker 3: log in to the live chat, all you have to
- 3:10Speaker 3: do is download his hot radio app Hishop on all platforms.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Download that app and once you download it, go to
- 3:19Speaker 3: the top left menu, hit the drop down could have
- 3:23Speaker 3: gone live chat, and it's easy and quick to get registered.
- 3:27Speaker 3: All you need is a username, email addressing password, and

- 3:44Speaker 3: Now let's go before our father and praier Aveley. Father,
- 3:46Speaker 3: we just lift up this episode before you. We lift
- 3:50Speaker 3: up each and every person that listens, downloads, every person
- 3:54Speaker 3: who downloads the app, every person who comes to the website,
- 3:58Speaker 3: every person who clicks. We ask, Father God, that you
- 4:02Speaker 3: bless them, Oh God, let them hear what they need
- 4:04Speaker 3: to hear. Oh God, give them ears, Oh God, give
- 4:07Speaker 3: them eyes that they may see. Father. If we pray,
- 4:10Speaker 3: Father God, that destinies, Oh God, will be Father God changed,
- 4:14Speaker 3: Oh God, that those who are on the broad road,
- 4:17Speaker 3: Father God, will leave it and forsake it, Lord and
- 4:20Speaker 3: start traveling on this narrow path. Oh Lord, we ask
- 4:25Speaker 3: for your blessings, your anointing, your grace, your presence. We
- 4:29Speaker 3: can do nothing without you, So we invite you in
- 4:32Speaker 3: holy Spirit, have your way, and we ask this in
- 4:35Speaker 3: Jesus' name. Amen. All right, let's die right in chapter seven,
- 4:46Speaker 3: We're gonna go from verse one and two, the word
- 4:51Speaker 3: that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, stand in
- 4:55Speaker 3: the gates of the Lord's house and proclaim they're this word,
- 5:00Speaker 3: and say hear the word of the Lord, all you
- 5:05Speaker 3: of Judah who enter in at these gates and worship
- 5:10Speaker 3: the Lord. All right, let's stop right there now. Now,
- 5:17Speaker 3: Jeremiah has a very specific assignment right here. He is
- 5:23Speaker 3: to stand at the temple gates where thousands of worshipers
- 5:28Speaker 3: are entering. We're talking about the whole nation of Israel, right,
- 5:33Speaker 3: they're coming to worship, or should I say Judah. Israel
- 5:38Speaker 3: was already captured at this time, so the nation of
- 5:41Speaker 3: Judah was walking in there. So this was not a
- 5:45Speaker 3: private message. It was public, out in the open, and
- 5:49Speaker 3: it was a public confrontation to the people. Now, God
- 5:57Speaker 3: often sends his messenger direct to the place where people
- 6:02Speaker 3: feel most spiritually secure. Right, think about that. Where do
- 6:12Speaker 3: you feel the most spiritually secure? What are you put
- 6:17Speaker 3: in your hope and your trust in Now, his audience
- 6:22Speaker 3: believed that they were right with God because they attended
- 6:26Speaker 3: worship service, just because they went. Belove it. It's a
- 6:32Speaker 3: sad day when people find out that it's more than
- 6:39Speaker 3: just going to church. Help me pray. And I'm actually
- 6:45Speaker 3: going to bring his name out because I love him
- 6:47Speaker 3: and I care about him. His name is William Washington,
- 6:53Speaker 3: and I'm requesting prayer for him, because this man is
- 7:00Speaker 3: He just told me his age. He is eighty three
- 7:02Speaker 3: years old. And I love to talk to him. I
- 7:07Speaker 3: love to joke around with him. I love to get
- 7:12Speaker 3: in discussions with him. But when it comes to topics
- 7:15Speaker 3: like the Bible or the Gospel, he will always say
- 7:20Speaker 3: that he's got family members that are in ministry. He's
- 7:23Speaker 3: got an uncle or a cousin, a prophet over here,
- 7:27Speaker 3: a pastor over here, teacher over here, And somehow he
- 7:32Speaker 3: thinks he feels spiritually secure because he's got ministers in
- 7:37Speaker 3: his family. But that will not get him into the kingdom.
- 7:42Speaker 3: And I'm having a hard time getting him to understand that.
- 7:48Speaker 3: And he's one of those people that think, you know,
- 7:53Speaker 3: if he reads the Bible, everyone has their own different interpretation,
- 7:57Speaker 3: so like why even bother and I refuse to allow
- 8:01Speaker 3: the enemy to drag him into hell. So I need
- 8:04Speaker 3: some backup. I need y'all to loft them up, put
- 8:07Speaker 3: him on your prayer list, and just ask that God
- 8:10Speaker 3: will open up his eyes and that he will be
- 8:12Speaker 3: convicted by the Holy Spirit. But he has a false
- 8:17Speaker 3: sense of security because he has family members that are
- 8:22Speaker 3: in ministry. And I'm hoping that his family members are right,
- 8:27Speaker 3: because if they are truly in ministry, they would let
- 8:30Speaker 3: him know that they cannot put He cannot put his
- 8:34Speaker 3: trust in them if their walk with God. We all
- 8:37Speaker 3: have to have our own walk with God. Amen. Now, family,
- 8:43Speaker 3: God isn't interested in our word appearance. God wants reality.
- 8:52Speaker 3: What is real. He wants us to be honest with
- 8:56Speaker 3: Him and have integrity. Right, because we can sit in
- 9:01Speaker 3: church every Sunday and still be far from God. You
- 9:08Speaker 3: can have Christian language and still miss God's hearts. And
- 9:14Speaker 3: that's why Jeremiah's message remains relevant even for today. So
- 9:20Speaker 3: let's get into it. Let's give verse three. Thus says
- 9:24Speaker 3: the Lord of a host, the God of Israel, amend
- 9:29Speaker 3: your ways and your doings, and I will cause you
- 9:36Speaker 3: to dwell in this place. That is a clear call.
- 9:41Speaker 3: That is a clear message, and it is simple. Right,
- 9:47Speaker 3: God says, amend your ways, change, repent, turn around. God
- 9:55Speaker 3: wasn't looking for more sacrifices. He was looking for a
- 10:01Speaker 3: transformed life. Repentance always involves a chance to change our lives,
- 10:11Speaker 3: our hearts, and our minds in a change of direction.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Has your life changed directions? Are you once you were
- 10:23Speaker 3: once on that broad road, but now you're walking down
- 10:26Speaker 3: this narrow path. This is who this podcast is produced for,
- 10:32Speaker 3: all the narrow path walkers. Right, Repentance is way more
- 10:40Speaker 3: than just feeling sorry for yourself or you know, feeling
- 10:46Speaker 3: emotional about your life. Repentance is all about turning back
- 10:53Speaker 3: to God, turning to him. Repentance is a gift. It's
- 10:58Speaker 3: not punishment, invitation. Belove it. There are billions of souls
- 11:05Speaker 3: in hell who wish they could hear the word repent,
- 11:09Speaker 3: who wish they would have another opportunity to repent. Let
- 11:16Speaker 3: that not be one of us. Let us take this
- 11:20Speaker 3: opportunity now, why we can. God is saying, come back
- 11:24Speaker 3: and return to me. Let me restore what has been broken. Amen.
- 11:32Speaker 3: A lot of us walk around with broken lives, and
- 11:37Speaker 3: God wants to restore that brokenness. Verse four. Do not
- 11:45Speaker 3: trust in these lying words, saying the temple of the Lord,
- 11:49Speaker 3: the Temple of the Lord, the Temple of the Lord.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Are these Now? The people believe Jerusalem could never fall
- 12:01Speaker 3: because God's temple was there. Some of us in the
- 12:09Speaker 3: United States we think, and I'm guilty of it myself.
- 12:14Speaker 3: I grew up thinking that America was invincible that this
- 12:19Speaker 3: country would never fall, never fail. We have nuclear capability,
- 12:25Speaker 3: we have technology, We have been one of the most
- 12:28Speaker 3: prosperous countries in the world for years. And just because
- 12:38Speaker 3: we claim to be a Christian nation, if we are
- 12:42Speaker 3: not living it, then we're not now. The people in
- 12:50Speaker 3: Jeremiah's day they treated the temple like it was a
- 12:53Speaker 3: good luck charm. Right, religious symbols cannot replace genuine obedience.
- 13:07Speaker 3: When you say that again, religious symbols alone cannot replace
- 13:13Speaker 3: a life of obedience. Now the people trust it in
- 13:19Speaker 3: the temple while ignoring the God of the temple. So family,
- 13:26Speaker 3: this still happens today. People trust church membership, or they
- 13:34Speaker 3: trust in a baptism certificate, or they trust in a
- 13:42Speaker 3: family tradition, or even they look towards their denomination. But
- 13:52Speaker 3: our trust must be in Jesus and Jesus alone, not
- 13:58Speaker 3: in religious objects or traditions. Salvation is a person. Salvation
- 14:07Speaker 3: is a personal relationship with the God of the universe,
- 14:13Speaker 3: the God who offers it. How much time do we
- 14:18Speaker 3: spend with Jesus Amen five and seven. For if you
- 14:32Speaker 3: thoroughly amend your ways in your doings, if you thoroughly
- 14:37Speaker 3: execute judgment between a man and his neighbor. If you
- 14:42Speaker 3: do not oppress the stranger, the fatherless, in the widow,
- 14:49Speaker 3: and do not shed innocent blood in this place, or
- 14:53Speaker 3: walk after other gods to your hurt, then I will
- 14:59Speaker 3: cause you to well in this land and the land
- 15:02Speaker 3: that I gave to your fathers, forever and ever. Amen. Now,
- 15:12Speaker 3: God right here describes he's making it plain, and he's
- 15:16Speaker 3: breaking it down. Or we really need to take this
- 15:19Speaker 3: and pick it apart and do a real and depth
- 15:22Speaker 3: study on this, because he's just describing true repentance. This
- 15:27Speaker 3: is what it looks like. It affects our relationships. It
- 15:34Speaker 3: also affects justice. We will be concerned about justice and others.
- 15:41Speaker 3: It affects our compassion. We will care about others. We
- 15:45Speaker 3: won't be so selfish and be so concerned only about ourselves.
- 15:51Speaker 3: It affects our worship. Who do we worship, how do
- 15:56Speaker 3: we worship? And then we will be more since to
- 16:00Speaker 3: those things. Now, true faith produces practical results. Let me
- 16:09Speaker 3: say that again. True faith will produce practical results, like
- 16:15Speaker 3: the Book of James is a good book to read,
- 16:18Speaker 3: because James is a very practical book right and first
- 16:25Speaker 3: John is like a report card to see how you're
- 16:29Speaker 3: doing spiritually. I recommend those two books to really get
- 16:33Speaker 3: your foundation strengthen in your walk with God. Now, a
- 16:38Speaker 3: transformed heart eventually produces transformed behavior. Right now, Notice God
- 16:50Speaker 3: mentions the stranger, the fatherless, the widow, the vulnerable. God
- 16:57Speaker 3: cares deeply about how we treat people. A genuine relationship
- 17:04Speaker 3: with God changes how we treat others. Sometimes we can
- 17:09Speaker 3: be in a situation where on our jobs we have
- 17:14Speaker 3: people who abuse their power, they abuse their position, and
- 17:22Speaker 3: you get people who want to oppress other people instead
- 17:27Speaker 3: of just providing guidance and leadership. Right, And we've all
- 17:34Speaker 3: been there in those places, and God is concerned about
- 17:38Speaker 3: those who are being oppressed. Let us not be one
- 17:42Speaker 3: of those who oppress others. Amen, Verse eight through ten.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Behold you trust in lying words that cannot profit. Will
- 17:55Speaker 3: you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense, to ball,
- 18:04Speaker 3: and walk after other gods whom you do not know,
- 18:08Speaker 3: And then come and stand before me in this house
- 18:12Speaker 3: which is called by my name, and say we are
- 18:18Speaker 3: delivered to do all these abominations. Wow, let's break this down.
- 18:26Speaker 3: How many people in church today have this very same attitude,
- 18:31Speaker 3: this is deception, Beloved, This attitude can leave so many
- 18:38Speaker 3: people to hell if they don't repent. Now the people
- 18:51Speaker 3: believe they could live however they want it and then
- 18:56Speaker 3: show up at the temple expecting God's approval. How many
- 19:04Speaker 3: people do we know? How many people preach once saved,
- 19:09Speaker 3: always saved. It doesn't matter how you live, it doesn't
- 19:15Speaker 3: matter what you do. You can follow the dictates of
- 19:18Speaker 3: your own heart. Never crack open a Bible, never repent,
- 19:23Speaker 3: never try to get their lives right aligned with God's word.
- 19:28Speaker 3: That is deception, Beloved. God will expose hypocrisy, and that's
- 19:37Speaker 3: what he did to this whole nation. He's exposing their hypocrisy.
- 19:42Speaker 3: He was very specific and the things that they were doing.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Worship without obedience becomes empty religion. God desires sincerity and holiness.
- 20:01Speaker 3: He demands it as a matter of fact. See, God
- 20:07Speaker 3: is looking for a part time disciples at all. He
- 20:13Speaker 3: isn't interested in Sunday only Christianity. Just go once a week, right,
- 20:21Speaker 3: give them an hour, but you live for yourself the
- 20:25Speaker 3: rest of the week. God wants our entire lives. Now
- 20:34Speaker 3: that people thought they could sin throughout the week and
- 20:37Speaker 3: then receive automatic forgiveness only because they perform religious activities
- 20:46Speaker 3: and religious duties. But this verse right here, God is
- 20:52Speaker 3: saying this that that's not how relationship works. Relationship with
- 21:00Speaker 3: him does not work. God wants transformed hearts. He does
- 21:05Speaker 3: not work. He does not want religious performance. Just imagine
- 21:11Speaker 3: if we treated our wives, or our husbands, or our
- 21:15Speaker 3: families or our jobs the way we treat God. Just
- 21:20Speaker 3: visit once a week and the rest of the time
- 21:24Speaker 3: you never see that person. What kind of a relationship
- 21:29Speaker 3: is that. You can't keep a job like that, You
- 21:32Speaker 3: can't keep a wife a marriage like that, And you'd
- 21:37Speaker 3: be arrested for a child neglect if you only saw
- 21:40Speaker 3: your child once a week, you fed them and clothed
- 21:43Speaker 3: them and did some stuff, and then you dip off,
- 21:46Speaker 3: You're gone. Then why did we treat God this way?
- 21:52Speaker 3: That is not a relationship And this is convicting loved.
- 21:58Speaker 3: All right, let's take a could break.

- 27:43Speaker 3: that drop down, click on podcasts and click on the
- 27:46Speaker 3: His Hot Radio podcast and look for the link called
- 27:49Speaker 3: the Accountability Partner. It's a great idea, I believe. To
- 27:54Speaker 3: go through those questions, I just got to have integrity, right.
- 27:58Speaker 3: It doesn't profit to lie to ourselves and deceive ourselves, right.
- 28:03Speaker 3: We got to be honest and honestly go through those
- 28:06Speaker 3: questions and there's a option there where you can request
- 28:12Speaker 3: a follow up where somebody can come and pray for you.
- 28:16Speaker 3: And so that is what this segment is for to
- 28:19Speaker 3: actually work through things. If you have sins in your life,
- 28:22Speaker 3: you need help, if you need to recover, you need
- 28:26Speaker 3: to change and be transformed. We're here to help you
- 28:30Speaker 3: through the very process and man. With that being said,
- 28:37Speaker 3: we also give you an assignment or a challenge each
- 28:41Speaker 3: and every day. Look over to the live chat and
- 28:44Speaker 3: you can read it there so you can go back
- 28:48Speaker 3: and look it up. It's actually an exercise where we
- 28:53Speaker 3: call and contact our accountability partner, call them, text the
- 28:58Speaker 3: email them, FaceTime them. However you want to ask this question,
- 29:03Speaker 3: this is the topic for your accountability partner. Is there
- 29:08Speaker 3: any area of your life where your actions in your
- 29:13Speaker 3: faith are not aligned? May repeat it. Is there any
- 29:18Speaker 3: area of your life where your actions and your faith
- 29:21Speaker 3: are not aligned? Pray together and ask God to bring
- 29:25Speaker 3: consistency between belief and behavior. Amen. That is huge, right there.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Bring consistency between belief that you believe and your behavior
- 29:41Speaker 3: how you actually live. Amen. We also want to let
- 29:48Speaker 3: you know that his hot radio is a monitored in
- 29:50Speaker 3: a reporting radio station. You know, just play music over
- 29:55Speaker 3: the internet. We monitor it, We track it every time
- 30:00Speaker 3: time it plays. We keep track of that. We sent
- 30:03Speaker 3: it out to three different charts. If you want your
- 30:09Speaker 3: music to become number one, well first you gotta submit it.

- 30:41Speaker 3: life chat. It's time for the trivia. Who will be
- 30:45Speaker 3: the trivia champion for today? That is the question. Who's
- 30:50Speaker 3: gonna be our trivia champion? Now the question is who
- 30:58Speaker 3: rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile? Once again,
- 31:07Speaker 3: who rebuilt the walls in Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile?
- 31:14Speaker 3: Now there's a scripture reference. They're in a life chat.
- 31:18Speaker 3: If you need help, the first one to answer correctly,
- 31:29Speaker 3: we'll get it. And also we have a community shout out.
- 31:38Speaker 3: We want to shout out those who are doing things
- 31:43Speaker 3: in the community the events. If you got something going,
- 31:49Speaker 3: let us know, we would love to share it with you.
- 31:52Speaker 3: We have been getting invites the different events. Amen doors
- 32:00Speaker 3: are beginning to open for our events business, our DJ

- 32:22Speaker 3: event to the next level. To set us up on
- 32:26Speaker 3: our website hshigh nation dot com. Right now, we're working
- 32:30Speaker 3: with a couple of events. We're working with. July seventh
- 32:35Speaker 3: is one the events that we're supposed to be supporting,
- 32:41Speaker 3: and also August twenty ninth we're locked into that one
- 32:46Speaker 3: as well. So if you would like to check us
- 32:52Speaker 3: out and volunteer and be a part of what we're doing,
- 32:57Speaker 3: don't hesitate to contact us. Contact us either on the
- 33:01Speaker 3: app his hot radio for all platforms, or on a
- 33:04Speaker 3: website his hot nation dot com, even our nonprofit website,
- 33:11Speaker 3: his hotnation dot or org as well. Last, but not least,
- 33:20Speaker 3: his hob Nation is a nonprofit organization. We opened a
- 33:23Speaker 3: Christian club in twenty twelve, a five thousand square foot warehouse.
- 33:28Speaker 3: We were able to operate it for almost seven years,
- 33:33Speaker 3: faithfully doing events in concerts, in our community. Some things
- 33:39Speaker 3: happened to where we had to shut it down and
- 33:43Speaker 3: God had to restore and work on me as well.
- 33:48Speaker 3: But we do believe that this is God's will. We
- 33:51Speaker 3: believe that this could be a blessing in our community.
- 33:56Speaker 3: And we're just asking for support or asking for monthly donors.
- 34:02Speaker 3: We're asking for supporters. We are asking for those who
- 34:07Speaker 3: could bless and even donate. Right if you have a
- 34:14Speaker 3: building and you want to donate space to a nonprofit, hey,
- 34:18Speaker 3: look no further. And for monthly donors, sponsors, supporters, grants,
- 34:24Speaker 3: grant writers, and volunteers. Don't hesitate to contact us. If
- 34:31Speaker 3: the Lord has placed it on your heart, be a
- 34:34Speaker 3: part of our organization, well that's my time to love it.
- 34:41Speaker 3: But not before we give some final comments and before
- 34:46Speaker 3: we pray out today Jeremiah seven, we cover the first
- 34:53Speaker 3: ten verses. Now, the point in this episode and what
- 35:02Speaker 3: this chapter teaches us is church attendance cannot replace obedience,
- 35:09Speaker 3: and repentance involves genuine change. There's got to be genuine
- 35:17Speaker 3: there's got to be a change in your life. If
- 35:20Speaker 3: your faith has not changed you, it has not saved you. Also,
- 35:26Speaker 3: religious traditions cannot save us. God cares about justice, and
- 35:32Speaker 3: he cares about compassion. Hypocrisy damages our relationship with God.
- 35:42Speaker 3: God hates hypocrisy. True worship flows from a surrendered heart. Man,
- 35:51Speaker 3: we must pray and contend and ask God daily to
- 35:55Speaker 3: keep our hearts surrendered to him. Now the question is
- 36:00Speaker 3: are you trusting in God? Are merely trusting in religious activity?
- 36:09Speaker 3: Let's pray, Father, God, help us never place our confidence
- 36:16Speaker 3: in religious routines instead of you, Oh Lord, search our hearts,
- 36:22Speaker 3: reveal areas where we need to repent. Teach us to
- 36:29Speaker 3: worship You in spirit and in truth, and help us
- 36:35Speaker 3: live lives that honor You every day of the week
- 36:41Speaker 3: and not just on Sunday. We asked this in Jesus' name. Amen,
- 36:50Speaker 3: Remember it's not about us, It's all about the Christ
- 36:55Speaker 3: in us.
- 37:03Speaker 1: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 37:06Speaker 1: is the His Hop radio show.
