- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I almost famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with IET Radio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It's almost in his podcast. We are here today to
- 0:08Speaker 2: do our weekly Bachelor Nation headlines, and I would say this, Ashley,
- 0:12Speaker 2: we have some really good headlines this week. Just interesting.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Not like we're not talking about breakups necessarily, We're not
- 0:21Speaker 2: talking about this huge amount of drama. There's no stories
- 0:24Speaker 2: that feel intrusive to talk about. But we have some
- 0:28Speaker 2: really good updates and things, and that makes me excited.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, so let's hit on. Hit it off with
- 0:34Speaker 3: the number one and sorry you guys for my voice.
- 0:37Speaker 3: I got quite a lovely cold over here.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Jesse Palmer reveals his surprise celebrity pick for the Golden
- 0:43Speaker 2: Bachelor and why Kim Kardashian wouldn't and I repeat, would
- 0:48Speaker 2: not be an ideal bachelorette.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Okay, well, you're never getting Kim Kardashian. Okay, she's out
- 0:55Speaker 3: of the realm of reality, keeps getting well. Mostly people
- 1:00Speaker 3: bring up Chloe. Chloe makes a little bit more sense.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Chloe's a little bit more of like a homebody. She
- 1:08Speaker 3: isn't Kim Kardashian like the icon that will go down
- 1:13Speaker 3: in history. You know, she's her sister love Chloe. That
- 1:16Speaker 3: has no shade to Chloe. She's an extremely successful businesswoman
- 1:19Speaker 3: on her own right. But Chloe has really had some
- 1:23Speaker 3: tough times in love. She's been screwed over. Kim has married,
- 1:29Speaker 3: she's married an awful person in the past, but she,
- 1:34Speaker 3: you know, she hasn't been screwed over in the way
- 1:36Speaker 3: that Chloe has. That's my little Kardashian ramble. To answer
- 1:40Speaker 3: the first question, Jesse Palmer says that his celebrity pick
- 1:43Speaker 3: for the Golden Bachelor would be George Lopez.
- 1:47Speaker 2: And George Lopez I think kind of was into doing it.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Right, he said, I am prepared if asked to be
- 1:53Speaker 3: the next Golden Bachelor. He said that on Jennifer Hudson's
- 1:56Speaker 3: show earlier this month. He admitted in an early episode
- 2:00Speaker 3: that he's been really terrible in love situations before, so
- 2:04Speaker 3: he's been throwing his hat in the ring for the
- 2:07Speaker 3: Golden Bachelor, and Jennifer asked Jesse what he thought of
- 2:13Speaker 3: that idea. That's how the conversation went, and he said
- 2:16Speaker 3: he just kind of joked and he said, George, this
- 2:18Speaker 3: is the final Rose and then George like flipped his hair. Anyway,
- 2:23Speaker 3: They're all joking about how that would be a fun
- 2:25Speaker 3: little opportunity. And you know what, I don't mind a
- 2:29Speaker 3: stun cast. I would like a stun cast. It's time,
- 2:31Speaker 3: it's time for another.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Quad.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Well, George Opez is a real celebrity. I was gonna
- 2:37Speaker 3: say Jesse Palmer was kind of a quasi celebrity beforehand
- 2:39Speaker 3: as a backup quarterback. You frow you for you for
- 2:44Speaker 3: your brow as if he was a real celebrity, would
- 2:47Speaker 3: you counted that as a real No, that.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Wasn't why I mean, okay, I think I think I
- 2:51Speaker 2: would for my brow to stunt cast because I think
- 2:54Speaker 2: George Lopez actually, especially on a Golden Show, could find
- 2:57Speaker 2: somebody in this. Yeah, I think it could be a lot.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Say love stories done cast as in like make it
- 3:04Speaker 3: a big deal with it being a celebrity, but then
- 3:07Speaker 3: it could actually work out. I don't mean make it fake.
- 3:10Speaker 2: I think it could be a really fun I would
- 3:12Speaker 2: be all for it, I think, especially with the Golden Show.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I think the other two shows, there's already too much
- 3:21Speaker 2: proving right now that people are there for the right
- 3:23Speaker 2: reasons that this isn't just you know, their way to
- 3:26Speaker 2: try to get famous. But I think with the Golden Show.
- 3:30Speaker 2: We've seen that. Yes, some of the contestants go on
- 3:33Speaker 2: to have really successful careers and entertainment from it, but
- 3:38Speaker 2: nobody there is like, I can't wait to spend the
- 3:40Speaker 2: next twenty years of my life hosting this game show,
- 3:43Speaker 2: or like, you know, I think some people on the
- 3:45Speaker 2: other shows do, and I would love I would love
- 3:48Speaker 2: to see George Lopez potentially find love on The Golden Show.
- 3:51Speaker 2: It would be an awesomely good experience.
- 3:54Speaker 3: And isn't his show on Hulu? He has a showy
- 3:57Speaker 3: Lopez versus Lopez. Yeah, yeah, if it's on Hulu, that's
- 4:01Speaker 3: a good crossover. That comes back to the whole Kardashian thing.
- 4:05Speaker 3: They were joking about that because on their Hulu series
- 4:09Speaker 3: they're always bringing up the Bachelor in the Bachelorrette because
- 4:12Speaker 3: you know, the ABC Hulu partnership.
- 4:14Speaker 2: That's right, all right. Next headline is this Bachelor Nation's
- 4:17Speaker 2: Kelsey Anderson explains why she got veneers. I didn't know
- 4:22Speaker 2: she got veneers, I know, but she did.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Yeah, so she posted on Instagram breaking news, Kelsey Anderson
- 4:33Speaker 3: has fake teeth. But seriously, I did get nine veneers
- 4:37Speaker 3: and one crown. I know that I'm not bound to
- 4:40Speaker 3: tell you guys this, but in my moral compass, it
- 4:43Speaker 3: feels like it is what is right. I don't want
- 4:46Speaker 3: to just brush past the fact that I have a
- 4:48Speaker 3: new smile or let people know that it's whitening strips
- 4:51Speaker 3: or whatever that has enhanced my smile. She said, you
- 4:56Speaker 3: you'd be able to tell because I can't brighten my teeth.
- 5:00Speaker 3: That byb be really obviously fake. And she said that
- 5:03Speaker 3: she recently went to the dentist to get a regular
- 5:05Speaker 3: check up, and the dentist was like, wait, there's something
- 5:08Speaker 3: kind of weird going on up in here. Let's go
- 5:11Speaker 3: get a head CT scan. Then she realized that she
- 5:15Speaker 3: had an infection in her face. This is crazy from
- 5:19Speaker 3: seven or eight years ago, whenever she broke a certain tooth,
- 5:23Speaker 3: and that she had the root canal and apparently it
- 5:27Speaker 3: wasn't We don't know whether it's properly done or whatnot.
- 5:29Speaker 3: But she got an infection growing in there for the past,
- 5:32Speaker 3: you know, however long, and it caused bone decay, and
- 5:37Speaker 3: then she had to get a root canal redone. This
- 5:41Speaker 3: is quite the story, And she said, and the dentist
- 5:44Speaker 3: could not believe that the infection wasn't causing her severe pain,
- 5:48Speaker 3: and then decided that it was time for her to
- 5:50Speaker 3: get new veneers that matched so that all her teeth
- 5:54Speaker 3: would match. Oh so I wonder if she had some
- 5:57Speaker 3: already in there. Anyway, she goes, they'll know in about
- 6:01Speaker 3: six months, while they got everything out and it's all clean,
- 6:03Speaker 3: if it's still infected, they're going to have to go
- 6:05Speaker 3: in there do surgery bone grafting. But hopefully it take
- 6:09Speaker 3: we get the all clear and we don't have to
- 6:11Speaker 3: do that, and my bone grows back and all that,
- 6:15Speaker 3: Like that's crazy. She said that her veneers had nothing
- 6:19Speaker 3: to do with her not liking her smile, that she's
- 6:21Speaker 3: always loved her smile. I just wanted my smile to
- 6:25Speaker 3: all match. I've always had insecurities on my teeth. They're
- 6:28Speaker 3: all very brittle, and I'm very prone to breaking teeth.
- 6:32Speaker 3: And I think that the dentist did a great job
- 6:34Speaker 3: trying to keep my original smile and then just enhancing it.
- 6:36Speaker 3: And I'm very happy with mymile right now. Okay, so
- 6:40Speaker 3: there we go. It's all infected, and I think that
- 6:42Speaker 3: she may have had a few in there earlier, and
- 6:45Speaker 3: she just wanted it all to match. Up, which obviously
- 6:48Speaker 3: makes a lot of sense.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Makes tons of sense. Now we're gonna talk about two vasectomies.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Jade Roper Tolbert reveals she and Tanner are done having kids.
- 7:07Speaker 2: This has been a big question, I think, especially within
- 7:10Speaker 2: Bachelor Nation, or Tanner and Jad have any more kids.
- 7:13Speaker 2: She said, they're done and it's time for Tanner to
- 7:16Speaker 2: be snipped.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Yeah, so that's really interesting. I mean, I know it
- 7:20Speaker 3: sounds weird for me not to know this all firsthand,
- 7:23Speaker 3: but I guess, like you don't like regular check in
- 7:25Speaker 3: with your friend being like, hey, so is Tanner getting
- 7:27Speaker 3: me pasectomy? But I am a little surprised to learn
- 7:32Speaker 3: it through our headlines because Jade is someone who just
- 7:37Speaker 3: loves children. But they have gone back and forth since
- 7:40Speaker 3: she had the big miscarriage a little over a year ago.
- 7:45Speaker 3: I guess it was like a year and a half ago,
- 7:49Speaker 3: So I guess apparently they have decided they are done.
- 7:52Speaker 3: She said that she still will have baby fever all
- 7:54Speaker 3: the time and probably forever. It's time for Tanner to
- 7:58Speaker 3: get the snip. Totally understand and then on the reverse end,
- 8:02Speaker 3: Ari is actually undergoing a aseect me reversal. He got
- 8:08Speaker 3: off sect me right after the twins. They were, you know,
- 8:10Speaker 3: overwhelmed with children. Obviously, you go from one to three
- 8:15Speaker 3: quite quickly for them, and they thought they were done.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Now they're saying they do not want to be done.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Watching his children grow up has made them want to
- 8:25Speaker 3: try for baby number four. He's saying he's getting number
- 8:29Speaker 3: of proseected me now, and I can tell you I'm sorry, guys,
- 8:31Speaker 3: it's a little personal, but I think he was done
- 8:34Speaker 3: a couple months ago. Anyway, hopefully they'll get their wish
- 8:38Speaker 3: and they'll get the baby number four soon.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Would you ever ask Jared to get to sect me?
- 8:45Speaker 3: Well, so, every month, even though I'm on the pill,
- 8:51Speaker 3: now I get scared that I'm pregnant. Every month, I'm like, oh,
- 8:56Speaker 3: there's a period.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Thank god.
- 8:58Speaker 3: I've never felt that in my whole life, because in
- 9:01Speaker 3: my whole life I've always wanted kids. But now I'm like, oh,
- 9:03Speaker 3: I'm overwhelmed by two. So I'm so done. And every
- 9:08Speaker 3: month I'm like, could you imagine if I didn't get
- 9:11Speaker 3: my period? So I yeah, I think it's something that
- 9:16Speaker 3: I would think of, so I didn't have to be scared.
- 9:17Speaker 3: Even though I'm on the pill. I'm obviously being like
- 9:20Speaker 3: hyper sensitive to it. Just if we found out that
- 9:23Speaker 3: I was pregnant, now I would we would just lose
- 9:26Speaker 3: our I watched these Instagram videos of people finding out
- 9:31Speaker 3: that like their third kid is actually triplets, And that's
- 9:34Speaker 3: the scariest thing I could ever think of, because a
- 9:37Speaker 3: third kid, obviously at this point when you have a
- 9:40Speaker 3: three year old and then a seven month old, is
- 9:42Speaker 3: like terrifying. It happens to a lot of people, but
- 9:46Speaker 3: it would not be ideal. Now, But if you were
- 9:48Speaker 3: to get if you were to get pregnant, not trying
- 9:53Speaker 3: to the third kid and then it ends up being triplets,
- 9:58Speaker 3: I don't know what kind of lifestyle change have to make,
- 10:00Speaker 3: but like you have to how do you do that?
- 10:03Speaker 3: How do you do that?
- 10:05Speaker 2: You know? You saying that makes me think of something
- 10:07Speaker 2: that's probably completely irrelevant, but it just is where my
- 10:10Speaker 2: mind went. Okay, what you know, you we all know
- 10:14Speaker 2: people who got pregnant, you know, before marriage or before
- 10:18Speaker 2: they really found their partner. College, yeah, school, et cetera.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Right, it happens, But you like wanted kids, you know, I.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Don't know anybody that was in that scenario that had
- 10:30Speaker 2: your kids. Yeah, how crazy would that be, Like, how
- 10:34Speaker 2: like scary would that be? I mean, at least at
- 10:35Speaker 2: this point in your life. Actually you know, you're married,
- 10:38Speaker 2: you got the foundation for it, like you have had
- 10:41Speaker 2: kids before, you're able to be scary. But it wouldn't
- 10:43Speaker 2: be this like, oh my gosh, moment. Now let me
- 10:47Speaker 2: ask you this. You say right now, you're done, You're overwhelmed,
- 10:51Speaker 2: you're in it right now. At what point would you
- 10:54Speaker 2: actually sit down with Jared and talk about are we
- 10:58Speaker 2: actually done? You? Because I don't think it's fair for
- 11:01Speaker 2: you to have the conversation right now because it's it's chaos,
- 11:04Speaker 2: it's stress, you're tired, things are moving so fast. So
- 11:07Speaker 2: when do you actually think that conversation could exist and
- 11:10Speaker 2: that you would like believe that, believe it.
- 11:14Speaker 3: I believe what we say now and we have this
- 11:16Speaker 3: conversation often when people ask us and we're like absolutely
- 11:19Speaker 3: not like one percent done. I could see this. I
- 11:24Speaker 3: don't think so. But like in a fantasy world, if
- 11:27Speaker 3: we want to talk about a fantasy scenario, if like
- 11:30Speaker 3: I could, if somebody'd be like, you know what, actually,
- 11:32Speaker 3: you win the lottery, you can retire tomorrow, you can
- 11:36Speaker 3: have a house in Virginia and a house in Rhode
- 11:38Speaker 3: Island and you can have all the help that you need.
- 11:44Speaker 3: You can have you know, and you can have a surrogate.
- 11:48Speaker 3: Would you want to go have another one? I'd be like, well,
- 11:51Speaker 3: if I'm retired and I could have a surrogate.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Pretty much is sounding like you can have another kid?
- 11:57Speaker 2: You lot to take care of it that much, because.
- 12:02Speaker 3: It's kind of like, can I have some Yeah, can
- 12:04Speaker 3: I have someone like always helping me? And then like
- 12:08Speaker 3: I can fully just like relax and and just enjoy
- 12:11Speaker 3: my time with them? You know what I mean? You
- 12:14Speaker 3: know what I mean?
- 12:15Speaker 2: Yes, I know what you mean. I just don't like
- 12:18Speaker 2: I think I'm asking more like for a realistic situation.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Here, No, a realistic situation. I feel like I can't
- 12:23Speaker 3: handle it. What I'm saying is if I could just
- 12:25Speaker 3: like sit down and enjoy all my time with children
- 12:28Speaker 3: and not have to worry about anything else somebody's cooking, cleaning,
- 12:34Speaker 3: I you know, I'm not having to work at all,
- 12:36Speaker 3: If I'm not juggling anything and I could just focus
- 12:40Speaker 3: on children, then I would have one with be a
- 12:42Speaker 3: surrogate though, because I would not be pregnant again.
- 12:46Speaker 2: You don't want to be pregnant again.
- 12:47Speaker 3: No okay, and I'd have all the money that I
- 12:51Speaker 3: could just pay for the surrogate. No, no guilt.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I can't wait until a year from now and baby
- 12:56Speaker 2: number three is cooking.
- 12:57Speaker 3: See you're gonna you're freaking you know, chicks head Wait
- 13:03Speaker 3: wait wait now, we got to get this and you're
- 13:05Speaker 3: got to reverse this. You are not at all in
- 13:09Speaker 3: any difficult phase yet.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I was gonna say, all, this is a stupid question
- 13:13Speaker 2: for me. I don't know.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Nobody's on the move. She's in her sleepy phase. The
- 13:19Speaker 3: sleepy new born phase is so great. But would you
- 13:23Speaker 3: at this point say three? Would you say three?
- 13:26Speaker 2: Yeah? I mean I think at this point like that
- 13:29Speaker 2: isn't out of the question. Now give us time, right,
- 13:32Speaker 2: give us being in it like you are right now,
- 13:35Speaker 2: the chaos, you know those kind of things, and maybe
- 13:37Speaker 2: that would change. But it's hard to say. We we
- 13:43Speaker 2: don't know yet, Like so far, I will say this
- 13:47Speaker 2: when he has been easier than I expected.
- 13:51Speaker 3: See they pumped, freak you they pump.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Well that's that's great. I'm sorry.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like, why if you look about this, is
- 14:01Speaker 3: this easy?
- 14:02Speaker 2: Yeah? I mean it's not easy. It's still you know,
- 14:04Speaker 2: especially for Jess, she's like in it. Yeah, but it's
- 14:11Speaker 2: been more of a joy than I could have imagined. It's,
- 14:14Speaker 2: you know, the difficult moments, like even when she's screaming
- 14:17Speaker 2: and crying at me and I'm trying to suck her
- 14:19Speaker 2: nose out of any like stuff, or she's you know,
- 14:22Speaker 2: I'm cleaning a diaper and she's kicking her legs around
- 14:25Speaker 2: so it makes it impossible to get the diaper on,
- 14:27Speaker 2: or just crying. These are like really special moments. And
- 14:31Speaker 2: it's also because I waited a long time for these moments,
- 14:35Speaker 2: and so for me, it's like this is my next
- 14:37Speaker 2: stage of life, Like I don't have anything else that
- 14:40Speaker 2: I like, I'm dreaming of other than trying to be
- 14:42Speaker 2: a good dad. So yeah, three seems like, oh that'd
- 14:45Speaker 2: be amazing. I've always thought in my head two. Yeah,
- 14:48Speaker 2: but right now, like if it was one. I'm an
- 14:50Speaker 2: only child, so I'm very used to that. Like I
- 14:52Speaker 2: that makes sense to me too.
- 14:54Speaker 3: I don't know, So let me just say one more
- 14:56Speaker 3: thing so I can go on on about this. When
- 14:59Speaker 3: we I saw Lauren and Ari at Alon's wedding, they
- 15:03Speaker 3: were like you would understand wanting a fourth like once
- 15:06Speaker 3: everybody's in preschool. They're like, imagine that, and I was like, okay,
- 15:11Speaker 3: I get that.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:12Speaker 3: And then finally, Ben I always said two or three,
- 15:17Speaker 3: but then when I was pregnant with Dawson and you
- 15:19Speaker 3: know ELA's mother effort, I was like, no, we will
- 15:24Speaker 3: just be having one more. I am not doing this
- 15:26Speaker 3: to myself two more times. Sure, hence the circuit. Okay,
- 15:31Speaker 3: it's fair.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Final headline is this completely switching gears. The Bachelor alum
- 15:39Speaker 2: rachel Ka Kirconnell gets last laugh and it was on
- 15:44Speaker 2: Matt James with new ad. This ad was Chef's Kiss.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Oh my goodness. I didn't even realize the humor here.
- 15:58Speaker 3: I just saw that she did a brona.
- 16:00Speaker 2: But this is the.
- 16:01Speaker 3: The the.
- 16:05Speaker 2: What would that be called the Chef's kit?
- 16:07Speaker 3: I guess I'll just call the Chef's Kiss. The greatest
- 16:11Speaker 3: line is even though I don't have to worry about
- 16:14Speaker 3: picking out the perfect restaurant spot anymore, life can still
- 16:18Speaker 3: get messy. But now I have someone I can always
- 16:24Speaker 3: rely on.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Ronnie Man.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Someone's strong and reliable too, no matter what surprises come
- 16:31Speaker 3: my way.
- 16:32Speaker 2: This is so good? Was this in the caption, Yeah,
- 16:36Speaker 2: she got paid fat cash to do this too. There's
- 16:39Speaker 2: no way she's agreed to this unless she's getting up
- 16:44Speaker 2: the brink truck backed up to our house.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, that is absolutely hysterical. I only saw
- 16:51Speaker 3: this in photo version on my own like Instagram. It's
- 16:55Speaker 3: a real.
- 16:57Speaker 2: It's like a I don't know, I don't know the difference,
- 16:59Speaker 2: but it's a video but there doesn't know. Oh yeah,
- 17:02Speaker 2: it's a video here.
- 17:04Speaker 3: That is gitious. Good for her, and good for Bronnie
- 17:09Speaker 3: for having such a good sense of humor too, because
- 17:12Speaker 3: a lot of these brands like they don't want to
- 17:14Speaker 3: be quirky. This is unreal.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you got to dive into it. This was so good.
- 17:20Speaker 2: In fact, I looked for Bronnie right when I saw
- 17:23Speaker 2: this ad because it was in my head and all
- 17:24Speaker 2: I can think about now is this big old lumberjack
- 17:27Speaker 2: dude with a perfect beard walking up to Rachel and
- 17:30Speaker 2: helping her out. And I'm like, that's a good ad,
- 17:32Speaker 2: Like this should be on TV type ad.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Yeah, for your creativity, Bronnie. I have to order some
- 17:38Speaker 3: paper towel, and I'm going to order your paper towel
- 17:41Speaker 3: because I love a brand who can have a sense
- 17:43Speaker 3: of humor and creative ads on and.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Let's just add in the Almost Famous podcast would love
- 17:48Speaker 2: to support anyway you see fit. That's the big headlines
- 17:53Speaker 2: for today. Some vasectoms. The Rachel ad that you have
- 17:57Speaker 2: to go out and watch it is. It is so good,
