- 1:03while John gets only two years. However, once they get to their respective
- 1:10prisons, they discover that due to a clerical error, John will be serving
- 1:15ten years and Mary only two. Despite her insistence, John convinces Mary to
- 1:23keep quiet about it. After two years, Mary gets out and she continues
- 1:32to visit John faithfully every month, and they exchange letters and phone calls regularly
- 1:38for the remainder of his ten year sentence. Finally, after he does his

- 2:29secrets to a happy marriage. One of the guests asks Mary why she decided
- 2:35to stick with John while he was in prison despite all of the hardships.
- 2:42Mary answers, well, you know you have found the one when you finish
- 2:47each other's sentences. Our happiness in life is not based so much on what
- 3:07happens to us. It is how we respond to what happens to us.
- 3:13This puts the true focus not on what's outside of us, but on what
- 3:19is on the inside. We will talk about this in this week's episode of
- 3:23Positively three sixty five, but first we have our trivia question of the day.
- 3:30Are you ready for it? Here it is what is the longest venomous
- 3:38snake in the world. We will have the answer when we come back.

- 4:53know the answer to this week's trivia question? The question was what is is
- 5:00the longest venomous snake in the world? The answer the king cobra. Yes,
- 5:09the king cobra is native to Asia and it has an average length of
- 5:15ten to thirteen feet and a record length of nineteen point two feet. It
- 5:23is the world's longest venomous snake, the king cobra. Now you know,
- 5:39in life, what happens to us is often beyond our control. But the
- 5:46real game changer is how we respond. Our reactions shape our experiences more than
- 5:53the events themselves. Facing challenges with resilience, optimism, or the problem solving
- 6:00mindset empowers us is like holding the reins in a situation, steering it towards
- 6:08growth and positivity. By choosing thoughtful responses, we transform setbacks into opportunities.
- 6:16Life's twists become a canvas, and our reactions the brushstrokes. It's a reminder
- 6:24that regardless of circumstances, our responses determine the narrative, influencing not only the
- 6:31present, but also shaping the person we become in the long run. The
- 6:46cockroach theory of self development. At a restaurant, a cockroach suddenly flew from
- 6:54somewhere and sat on a lady. She started screaming out of fear. With
- 7:00a panic stricken face and trembling voice. She started jumping with both hands,
- 7:08desperately trying to get rid of the cockroach. Her reaction was contagious as everyone
- 7:14in her group also got panicky. The lady finally managed to push the cockroach
- 7:19away, but it landed on another lady in the group, and now it
- 7:25was the turn of the other lady in the group to continue the drama.
- 7:30The waiter rushed to their rescue. In the relay of throwing, the cockroach
- 7:36next fell upon the waiter. The waiter stood firm though, composed himself and
- 7:44observed the behavior of the cockroach on his shirt. When he was confident enough,
- 7:49he grabbed it with his fingers and threw it out of the restaurant.
- 7:56Sipping my coffee and watching with amusement, the antenna of my mind picked up
- 8:01a few thoughts and started wondering was the cockroach responsible for the histrionic behavior.
- 8:11If so, then why was the waiter not disturbed. He handled it near
- 8:18to perfection, without any chaos or excitement. It was not the cockroach,
- 8:26not the inability of those to handle the disturbance caused by the cockroach that disturbed
- 8:33the ladies. I realized that it was not the shouting of my father,
- 8:39or my boss, or my wife that disturbs me, but it's my inability
- 8:45to handle the disturbances caused by their shouting that disturbs me. It's not the
- 8:52traffic jams on the road that disturbed me, but my inability to handle the
- 8:56disturbance caused by the tree a jam that disturbs me more than the problem.
- 9:05It's my reaction to the problem that creates chaos in my life. Thank you
