- 1:03Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's right. I forgot about that.
- 1:05Speaker 4: That's fun, isn't it fun?
- 1:06Speaker 1: It is fun? Are you doing anything fun for Christmas?
- 1:11Speaker 1: I'm headed home, Bud. I'm gonna go home for the
- 1:14Speaker 1: whole week. Nice and dude, just nothing is my plan.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I mean, I'm gonna work a little bit during the day,
- 1:20Speaker 1: but you know, nothing otherwise.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Got you.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't even know what the Usually we try
- 1:29Speaker 1: to make something fun that we've never made before and
- 1:31Speaker 1: I don't even know what that's gonna be yet, So
- 1:34Speaker 1: something fun will happen. I'm sure for sure it will. Yeah,
- 1:37Speaker 1: how about you, what do you guess up to?
- 1:39Speaker 3: Done with the Christmas tour? Which is awesome so early
- 1:43Speaker 3: this year, I suppose.
- 1:45Speaker 1: But nice to not have to travel like the day
- 1:48Speaker 1: before the day absolutely, yes, very very thankful that we
- 1:51Speaker 1: get this time. That's lovely.
- 1:53Speaker 3: At home, we started a little earlier this year so
- 1:55Speaker 3: we could be done early, and uh, pretty cool.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Cool that for all, y'all. That's great.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Yeah, but we're just going to do a bunch of
- 2:03Speaker 3: different little little get togethers with my folks and her
- 2:06Speaker 3: folks and her siblings and it's her grandma And yeah,
- 2:11Speaker 3: so are the.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Kids getting like excited yet or oh dude, they've been
- 2:16Speaker 1: excited since Halloween pretty much. It's like fourth of July
- 2:20Speaker 1: is over. It's Christmas time exactly. They love Christmas. That's fun.
- 2:27Speaker 1: That's so pretty good time. Well, very cool man. Love that.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Have you been seeing a movie?
- 2:34Speaker 3: I have been seeing movies. On my flight home from tour,
- 2:39Speaker 3: I went to Netflix and I downloaded the recently released
- 2:44Speaker 3: Wake Up dead Man, A Knives Out Mystery.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Love that I'm.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Gonna switch mine because I wasn't going to talk about it,
- 2:51Speaker 1: but I just watched that too nice, so we might
- 2:54Speaker 1: as well talk about it together. We might as well.
- 2:57Speaker 3: I so love Daniel Craig as Ben wi Blanc. This
- 3:02Speaker 3: one is another stacked cast. Josh O'Connor, the guy i'd
- 3:08Speaker 3: make fun of his Prince Charles in.
- 3:09Speaker 1: The Crown doesn't sound like that in this film, even
- 3:16Speaker 1: though no, that was his King Prince Charles King Charles impression. Yeah,
- 3:21Speaker 1: for sure, but he's the lead.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Glenn Close, Josh brolind Me Lacunis, Jeremy Renner, Carrie Washington,
- 3:28Speaker 3: Andrew Scott, Kaylee Spainey, Thomas Hayden Church, Jeffrey Wright, and
- 3:33Speaker 3: there's still more people you're gonna recognize.
- 3:35Speaker 1: It's nuts.
- 3:37Speaker 3: I would say that this one isn't as funny as
- 3:41Speaker 3: the first two I thought, but the mystery is really
- 3:45Speaker 3: well written and fun. I enjoyed it a bunch. I
- 3:48Speaker 3: hope Rian Johnson keeps making these. They're really entertaining, but yeah,
- 3:54Speaker 3: just not as fun. This one wasn't as fun as
- 3:57Speaker 3: the other two I thought so too, but.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Still a great watch. Yeah, a super enjoyable film experience.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Just not as like the other ones are like kind
- 4:08Speaker 1: of slapsticky at points, and this one has its moments
- 4:11Speaker 1: of that. But I totally agreed, like it's just a
- 4:14Speaker 1: tiny like a Scoch more serious. But man, I really
- 4:19Speaker 1: had a great time watching it. Josh Brolin was just
- 4:22Speaker 1: he just was knocking my socks off. It was so fun. Yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 1: he was. His stuff was fun. Yeah, he got to
- 4:28Speaker 1: be like the zanious, Like.
- 4:30Speaker 4: His confessionals were ridiculous.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Yes, those are good, Yes, but it was really fun
- 4:37Speaker 1: and a lot of like folks are really digging this one,
- 4:41Speaker 1: so yeah, it was. It was fun. Man, what a
- 4:44Speaker 1: watch for sure? Did you just watch it when it
- 4:47Speaker 1: came on to Netflix or yeah, just like two days
- 4:49Speaker 1: ago or whatever it was? I will say too, I
- 4:53Speaker 1: thought they I thought Ryan Johnson went in his bag
- 4:56Speaker 1: a little bit more on the like the like movie
- 4:59Speaker 1: making parts of it, because like they do a lot
- 5:02Speaker 1: of stuff with sunlight coming through the church windows and
- 5:06Speaker 1: stuff like that that I think is really neat and
- 5:09Speaker 1: super effective. So yeah, and not that the other ones
- 5:13Speaker 1: weren't great, but I just felt like they they really
- 5:15Speaker 1: made this one moodier or something. It was fun. Sure,
- 5:18Speaker 1: I liked it. Yeah, I like that vibe.
- 5:19Speaker 4: So it was a good vibe.
- 5:21Speaker 1: It was cool, buddy, well, very viable. Yeah. Have you
- 5:24Speaker 1: been streaming things as well?
- 5:26Speaker 3: Yes, Netflix has just been killing it lately. I've been
- 5:31Speaker 3: all over Netflix. But I decided to watch the new
- 5:34Speaker 3: mini series about James Garfield's unlikely and short presidency.
- 5:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:40Speaker 3: It was called Death by Lightning.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I don't know anything about this other than it existed.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I heard, Okay, what do you think. I really enjoyed it.
- 5:50Speaker 3: My my dad, who knows more about American history than
- 5:54Speaker 3: a lot of history professors, for sure, thought that it
- 5:57Speaker 3: was a pretty accurate depiction of what happened. Maybe a
- 6:01Speaker 3: few dramatic turties, but overall pretty yeah, which I liked.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Michael Shannon plays James Garfield. Matthew mcphaden who we remember
- 6:13Speaker 3: from Succession, he plays Charles Gutteau, Betty Gilpin, Shay Wigham,
- 6:20Speaker 3: Bradley Whitford, and Nick Offerman plays Chester A. Arthur and
- 6:25Speaker 3: he's crazy fun so really good cast for sure. But yeah,
- 6:32Speaker 3: it was just kind of fun to learn about about
- 6:36Speaker 3: this kind of era. I didn't know much about it.
- 6:38Speaker 3: I knew he was had like the shortest presidency ever
- 6:43Speaker 3: but pretty fun story.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Right Harrison, William William Henry Harrison I think is his name,
- 6:52Speaker 1: William Howard Taft Now Harrison is the one.
- 6:56Speaker 4: During right right, Yeah, it was two.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Weeks in or something. But yeah, I action brought that
- 7:03Speaker 1: up because I don't know stuff about stuff.
- 7:05Speaker 4: It's cool, don't worry about it.
- 7:09Speaker 1: But yeah, it was.
- 7:10Speaker 3: It was fun to learn about that time, and some
- 7:13Speaker 3: really great acting performances from Michael Shannon. Betty Gilpin got
- 7:17Speaker 3: to uh kind of show off a little bit too.
- 7:20Speaker 6: Betty Gilpen is do I she was in that show
- 7:23Speaker 6: Glow and she was also in yeah, yeah, yeah, that
- 7:29Speaker 6: one movie. I don't think I ended up watching it,
- 7:32Speaker 6: but it kind of looked like like they hunt people
- 7:37Speaker 6: like that old story.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I think it's called The Hunt based on her, Yeah,
- 7:41Speaker 1: based just on her IMDb. But yeah, yeah, I totally
- 7:44Speaker 1: know what you're talking about. Now. Oh yeah, she was
- 7:46Speaker 1: pretty great, Okay, cool.
- 7:49Speaker 3: I will say I didn't love Matthew mcfaden, but I
- 7:52Speaker 3: think he played it well then because that kind of
- 7:58Speaker 3: like the character. Yeah, yeah, totally, and so he was good.
- 8:01Speaker 3: But I just felt like I saw a lot of
- 8:03Speaker 3: his character from Succession in there. Sure, So yeah, a
- 8:09Speaker 3: little mixed on that, but it's worth checking out. It's
- 8:11Speaker 3: only four episodes, a little mini series.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Yeah, it was a good time. I love that's cool NICs. Yeah,
- 8:19Speaker 1: what have you been streaming? So I went to HBO
- 8:22Speaker 1: Max and I'm realizing this is now kind of a bummer.
- 8:27Speaker 1: It was right after Rob Reiner. We had learned that
- 8:30Speaker 1: he killed and died and all that good stuff. Not
- 8:36Speaker 1: good stuff. Yeah, it's just it's a terrible, terrible story.
- 8:39Speaker 1: But the one positive is I was like, well, I've
- 8:43Speaker 1: never seen this as spinal tap. I want to be
- 8:45Speaker 1: happy right now. Nice, that's a bummer. I should have
- 8:49Speaker 1: seen it by now. So I went and watched it,
- 8:51Speaker 1: and it is. It's just a joy man, it was.
- 8:54Speaker 1: It was really super super funny. A ton of those
- 8:57Speaker 1: jokes I've heard just being in bands on the road, right, yeah,
- 9:01Speaker 1: turn it to eleven, like a bunch of that stuff.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I was like, well, I didn't even know that was
- 9:04Speaker 1: from this and I've said that a number of times,
- 9:09Speaker 1: but just really that whole that whole crew of people,
- 9:12Speaker 1: like they're so funny, that's so funny. I don't know,
- 9:15Speaker 1: they're still doing stuff, they're they're kind of a troop
- 9:18Speaker 1: right of ST's kind of stick together. Yeah, and they're
- 9:21Speaker 1: all their stuff is still super funny. Man, Like, I
- 9:24Speaker 1: don't know, I just I really really liked it and
- 9:26Speaker 1: it was fun to see Rob Ironers in it, you
- 9:29Speaker 1: know a bit as well, which is really fun. Is
- 9:32Speaker 1: that one? Have you ever seen that one? I can't remember.
- 9:34Speaker 4: I haven't seen it all the way through.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I've got some pieces of it.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think I've sat down and watched it
- 9:39Speaker 3: in succession.
- 9:40Speaker 1: It's really funny, man, really funny. Yeah, good bus movie
- 9:44Speaker 1: if that ever comes up. Sure, But yeah, I just
- 9:48Speaker 1: I really had a great time and it was just,
- 9:50Speaker 1: you know, kind of a bittersweet affair obviously with everything.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Going on, but so horrible.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Yeah. I probably shouldn't have even brought it up, but
- 9:57Speaker 1: you know, here, okay, it's what I did.
- 9:59Speaker 3: That guy get gave us some of my favorite movies.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Of all time. That like the seven film run that
- 10:05Speaker 1: he had or whatever that was all over like social
- 10:07Speaker 1: media and stuff. It's just like banger after banger, and
- 10:10Speaker 1: he did so many different kinds of movies like, yeah,
- 10:13Speaker 1: he was all over the place three and you know,
- 10:16Speaker 1: it's just a few good men, like a stage play
- 10:18Speaker 1: that ended up. Yeah, and it was just wonderful and
- 10:22Speaker 1: he just seemed like a really great dude and all
- 10:26Speaker 1: the things. So yeah, all the things kind of a bummer,
- 10:28Speaker 1: but also thus his life sometimes you know, what are
- 10:32Speaker 1: you gonna do? Yeah, so this is spinal tap that
- 10:34Speaker 1: it is on HBO Max. If anybody wants to go
- 10:37Speaker 1: check it out. Yeah, I got I do that this break. Yeah,
- 10:40Speaker 1: it's pretty fun. So if you're looking for something and
- 10:42Speaker 1: it's short and sweet too, which is kind of nice
- 10:44Speaker 1: to sometimes. Yeah, well that was all of it you
- 10:48Speaker 1: want to do. If you plug, he runs, Yes, I do. Nice.
- 10:51Speaker 1: You guys can just as always on the old Twitter
- 10:53Speaker 1: machine where we're at Aven Endorsement with a Z. You
- 10:56Speaker 1: can also go to Facebook, dot com and Instagram at
- 10:58Speaker 1: the Aven endorsement there as well. We're also we had
- 11:01Speaker 1: one TikTok blues guy threats other stuff probably, But if
- 11:05Speaker 1: you really want to hang out and be part of
- 11:07Speaker 1: the crew, it's about to go.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Patreon dot com slash the Avid Indoorsman. Yeah, it's a
- 11:12Speaker 3: great time. On Patreon, we like to give our patrons
- 11:14Speaker 3: a bunch of perks. One of those is getting a
- 11:16Speaker 3: shout out here let's give it up for Marsha Griziac,
- 11:19Speaker 3: Mary Fox, Nanette Walkley, Johem Bros, De deb Olk, and
- 11:24Speaker 3: Noel Flora as we hope you guys have a wonderful
- 11:26Speaker 3: holiday season, and thanks so much for being patrons.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 11:30Speaker 3: And another perk that we like to give our patrons
- 11:33Speaker 3: is an extended version of every episode that we put out,
- 11:36Speaker 3: we'll usually do a top five draft that pertains to
- 11:39Speaker 3: the movie we're talking about, and for this one, decided
- 11:42Speaker 3: to do our top five favorite train scenes in films.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Great topic, Buddy, I'm glad you thought of that one.
- 11:50Speaker 1: That's Sanek you. I was like, I have no good
- 11:53Speaker 1: ideas for this one, so.
- 11:55Speaker 3: I was kind of struggling because there's so many different
- 11:58Speaker 3: like musicals or performances.
- 12:01Speaker 4: Or putting on a show.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I feel like we've done so many of those, you know, yeah,
- 12:05Speaker 1: for sure, but this will be super fun. And I
- 12:07Speaker 1: have some bangers on this list, so banger, I'm excited
- 12:11Speaker 1: and probably forgot some, so that'll be a great for sure.
- 12:14Speaker 4: There's so many I know I've forgot some, I know.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Right Next up for you folks, we're going to be
- 12:20Speaker 1: doing the Year in Review, so come on back we're
- 12:24Speaker 1: going to talk about our favorite films of twenty twenty
- 12:27Speaker 1: five Boom, which will be fun. Yeah, trying to get
- 12:32Speaker 1: in a bunch I know, me too into this. Yeah,
- 12:34Speaker 1: like it's always a sprint at the end of the
- 12:35Speaker 1: yearcause I'm like, I'd love to say I saw it,
- 12:38Speaker 1: you know, this year and talk about it. But yeah,
- 12:41Speaker 1: it'll be super fun, So come on back for that.
- 12:43Speaker 1: But we're here today to talk about a lot of
- 12:48Speaker 1: people's favorite film of all time maybe or at least
- 12:51Speaker 1: favorite Christmas film for sure. I know Mom sure likes me, Mom. Yeah,
- 12:59Speaker 1: we're here to talk a little white Christmas for y'all.
- 13:01Speaker 1: From boy it's old. I can't remember fifty forty four,
- 13:05Speaker 1: nineteen hundred and fifty four. Uh, And you know Christmas
- 13:10Speaker 1: is all about to spend a time with family, so
- 13:12Speaker 1: we had to get to Rob's better half in here.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Let's keep it up for Kelsie. What's up, kills? Hi? Hi,
- 13:23Speaker 1: thanks for coming back, Thank you, thank you.
- 13:27Speaker 4: It's been a while since we've had you on here.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Yes, was it last Christmas?
- 13:33Speaker 4: When did it happen last I remember, I don't even know.
- 13:36Speaker 4: It's been so long.
- 13:37Speaker 1: I don't even think it was last year. I think
- 13:40Speaker 1: it's been years.
- 13:43Speaker 5: Yes, it's been seven years, but it's been a while.
- 13:47Speaker 1: You're right, I can't.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Remember what the last thing was hatting me on.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Yeah, my brain is good. I don't remember either. I
- 13:53Speaker 1: remember when Harry met Sally.
- 13:55Speaker 3: We were just talking about Rob Reiner and how sad
- 13:57Speaker 3: that was. But I remember when Harry met Sally we
- 13:59Speaker 3: did that.
- 14:00Speaker 4: That one was really fun.
- 14:02Speaker 1: The best. I will be rewatching that this holiday season.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Great New Year's movie.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Ye that Mom will like to watch that one. Yeah,
- 14:10Speaker 1: if I can stop Beverly Hills Cop for a second.
- 14:14Speaker 1: She's a big fan, big fan.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Had she ever seen the movie we're going to talk about.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I don't know. I have to ask her. I have
- 14:22Speaker 1: to ask her. That's a good question. Yeah, I would
- 14:24Speaker 1: say more, but it'll delve into mind.
- 14:26Speaker 4: We don't want to do that. We don't want to
- 14:28Speaker 4: do that.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Maybe we'll just get started, Robbie, want to start us
- 14:32Speaker 1: off with a rough synopsy? Sure. Bob Wallace and Phil Davis,
- 14:37Speaker 1: two Army Buddies, become a top notch musical comedy team
- 14:42Speaker 1: after the war and are now the toast of Broadway.
- 14:45Speaker 3: While on the road in Florida, the star has become
- 14:47Speaker 3: involved with two aspiring singers, the sister act of Betty
- 14:51Speaker 3: and Judy. Despite some romantic complications between the couples, everything
- 14:57Speaker 3: ends on a happy note when Christmas Eve brings rave
- 14:59Speaker 3: review use for the show and much needed snowfall.
- 15:03Speaker 4: Hooray, hurry.
- 15:05Speaker 5: They really tell you all about it in that they
- 15:09Speaker 5: go the whole thing, even give you the snow spoiler.
- 15:12Speaker 1: I give you like a Christmas Eve hot take. Yes,
- 15:15Speaker 1: not enough girls named Betty these days?
- 15:20Speaker 5: You like Betty?
- 15:22Speaker 1: Yeah? I do like a Betty, maybe just because of
- 15:24Speaker 1: the archie comic world, but I do like or Flintstones.
- 15:29Speaker 1: That's true. Wow, Petty short for something? Is it? Elizabeth? Names?
- 15:37Speaker 4: I don't Elizabeth?
- 15:38Speaker 1: Maybe bett that's short.
- 15:41Speaker 5: I don't think so.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Maybe I don't either. Betty Betty is a name. It's
- 15:48Speaker 1: a common diminutive for the names Bethany and Elizabeth.
- 15:54Speaker 5: Yeah you got it?
- 15:56Speaker 4: No, yeah, nothing anyway.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh it's my turn. Let's go to Rotten Tomatoes
- 16:03Speaker 1: and hear what they have to say. Critics have it
- 16:04Speaker 1: coming in at a pretty good seventy six percent boom,
- 16:08Speaker 1: not terrible, not terrible. Audience members though, way about that.
- 16:11Speaker 1: They're up at eighty nine percent. That's where it should be.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Audiences love this film. I love it. Love a Christmas musical.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Who doesn't, well do we? I don't know. It's time
- 16:22Speaker 1: to find out. It's time for our hot take. Hot take.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Oh that's a hot take. That's a hot take. Hot coco.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Drink some you probably drink something that's spicy at some point,
- 16:35Speaker 1: or or hot cocoa, hot coco. You're right, yeah, I
- 16:39Speaker 1: always go to booze. Oh yeah, that's a boozy.
- 16:44Speaker 5: One, right, it is at least when I make them.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I make them with.
- 16:49Speaker 4: You, especially when you do whiskey whiskey uisky.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Anyway, hot take. I this is my first time I've
- 16:59Speaker 1: ever seen this film. Isn't that fun? I didn't want
- 17:05Speaker 1: to tell you that ahead of time. This is such
- 17:07Speaker 1: a classic and I've never like avoided it on purpose
- 17:10Speaker 1: or anything like that. But that is a this is
- 17:13Speaker 1: not one that like we watch every year or anything
- 17:16Speaker 1: like that. We're really like a home alone Uncle Buck,
- 17:23Speaker 1: probably Christmas kind of family, so you know, they don't
- 17:27Speaker 1: have to be Christmas films. I G this is what
- 17:29Speaker 1: I'm saying, gotcha, But yes, this was really fun to watch.
- 17:36Speaker 1: What a joy I didn't. I think I only knew
- 17:38Speaker 1: recently that it was like a straight up musical. I
- 17:41Speaker 1: don't know how much I missed that. I knew they
- 17:43Speaker 1: were singing in it, obviously, But what a delightful film,
- 17:47Speaker 1: really funny, really tender and sweet. There's some like lovely
- 17:53Speaker 1: masculinity stuff and being tender things in there that I.
- 17:56Speaker 4: Liked especially good for nineteen fifty four.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it ages incredibly well. There's tons of like great
- 18:04Speaker 1: dancing and stuff and like the tapping and all that,
- 18:07Speaker 1: which is fun. It really you know, delves into that
- 18:09Speaker 1: sort of like vaudevillian esque. I guess it's a late
- 18:13Speaker 1: Vaudeville maybe, like performing era, which I always just think
- 18:17Speaker 1: is really charming of just like folks doing their thing
- 18:20Speaker 1: and you're having a good time, and you can't watch
- 18:23Speaker 1: a million things on TV, so you go and see
- 18:25Speaker 1: more like live entertainment stuff. I really liked it. I
- 18:30Speaker 1: had a great great time. The recurring arm bit where
- 18:33Speaker 1: his friend like doing whatever is so funny. That's so
- 18:42Speaker 1: funny and also like very believable. As I mean, as
- 18:46Speaker 1: we just did right, we went into a common story
- 18:49Speaker 1: that we all have together. So like that's what friendships do.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Especially really long, you know, committed friendships. So I just
- 18:55Speaker 1: I loved that. I thought it was super fun and
- 18:57Speaker 1: never really done into like a malicious way, which is
- 19:01Speaker 1: really fun. Like this is a very tender hearted little film.
- 19:04Speaker 1: I think it's really really great. And yeah, I just
- 19:08Speaker 1: think all I could think about when I started watching it, though,
- 19:13Speaker 1: was Clark Griswold saying we're gonna press out and we're
- 19:17Speaker 1: gonna have the hap half happiest Christmas since bing Crosby
- 19:21Speaker 1: tap Dance with Danny Fuck remember when he freaks out.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I can't stop thinking about that. He was really cracking
- 19:29Speaker 1: me up. My hot take thought, other than we need
- 19:33Speaker 1: more Betties in the world is to hit you with
- 19:37Speaker 1: White Christmas. Immediately, they're like, right out the gate, we're
- 19:40Speaker 1: not saving it. Although originally right that White Christmas was
- 19:45Speaker 1: debuted in a different holiday, and that.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Was another one that my my folks loved that one too. Yeah,
- 19:52Speaker 3: so I knew that that little bit of trivia long
- 19:55Speaker 3: time ago.
- 19:55Speaker 1: But yeah, that makes sense.
- 19:57Speaker 4: I think they come right out with it. They do wild.
- 20:01Speaker 3: I mean, it was a pretty famous song by that point,
- 20:04Speaker 3: so I.
- 20:05Speaker 1: And if Mom hasn't seen it, we're definitely gonna watch
- 20:08Speaker 1: it this Christmas you totally. It's fun.
- 20:10Speaker 5: Yeah, it's so fun.
- 20:12Speaker 1: But yeah, that's what I got.
- 20:14Speaker 3: That's a hot take, bro, It's a kind uh complete opposite.
- 20:19Speaker 3: This is a movie I've watched pretty much every Christmas.
- 20:22Speaker 1: For as song as I can remember. It's the worst.
- 20:28Speaker 3: It is My mom's favorite movie has become one of
- 20:31Speaker 3: mine as well. It's directed by Michael Curtiz, who was
- 20:36Speaker 3: a big director during the Silent film era all the
- 20:39Speaker 3: way into Hollywood's Golden Age. He made stars of Errol Flynn,
- 20:43Speaker 3: Betty Davis another Betty Got, James Cagney, and Joan Crawford
- 20:48Speaker 3: Academy Awards, and he won Best Director for a little
- 20:52Speaker 3: film called Casablanca Sick. Pretty big deal.
- 20:58Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 21:00Speaker 3: The music and lyrics were by Irving Berlin. It is
- 21:04Speaker 3: so crazy he did all that music, such a prolific musician,
- 21:10Speaker 3: So many great songs with white Christmas. The best things
- 21:13Speaker 3: happen while you're dancing, sister, counting your blessings. I mean,
- 21:17Speaker 3: it's just the music in this is top notch. The
- 21:24Speaker 3: music is so good that it overshadows not great acting
- 21:29Speaker 3: by some folks.
- 21:35Speaker 1: She kept dancer. It weird spots too, like while they
- 21:39Speaker 1: were she has a fantastic dancer, unbelievable, but yeah, it
- 21:44Speaker 1: was funny, it was it was interesting to see that part.
- 21:50Speaker 3: So yeah, I just I've loved this forever hot takes.
- 21:55Speaker 3: I kind of always find where the conflict is because
- 22:01Speaker 3: of like a misunderstanding to be annoying.
- 22:04Speaker 4: When it's just like, hey, let's just talk. Why are
- 22:08Speaker 4: you upset?
- 22:08Speaker 3: Just tell me why words, Just tell me why you're upset?
- 22:13Speaker 3: It's because you overheard one part of a conversation and
- 22:17Speaker 3: you didn't even hear my part of the conversation. Like,
- 22:21Speaker 3: let's let's just talk it out and it could get
- 22:23Speaker 3: explained in a second. Those kind of conflicts always bug me,
- 22:30Speaker 3: but you know you need it. You need it for
- 22:33Speaker 3: this movie.
- 22:36Speaker 1: And why you and I are friends raped because we
- 22:38Speaker 1: would just be like, what what's happening with this way?
- 22:41Speaker 1: Why are we upset? Let's just explain.
- 22:43Speaker 5: Yeah, I have a whole job because of that.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Yeah, to be honest, it's this probably isn't even the
- 22:51Speaker 1: top five dumbest thing I've ever got mad about, So
- 22:53Speaker 1: you know, I'm probably who.
- 22:55Speaker 5: Knows, But yes, yes I hear that other hot.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Take just knowing bing Crosby is with such a horrible dad.
- 23:08Speaker 1: It's always kind of hard. Dude, I didn't know that
- 23:13Speaker 1: super abusive, really abusive and so absent. No, no, no,
- 23:18Speaker 1: he was really bad.
- 23:19Speaker 3: But when he says the line like you know you
- 23:24Speaker 3: ought to be horse whipped and always just.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Like, I hate that.
- 23:27Speaker 3: It just makes me think of how horrible you were
- 23:31Speaker 3: somebody with such an amazing voice being that big of
- 23:37Speaker 3: a dish.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Okay, great then, though, because he seemed so sweet.
- 23:40Speaker 3: And right, I know, And dude, I don't know if
- 23:43Speaker 3: it was this like VistaVision, but his blue eyes.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Just sparkled in this.
- 23:50Speaker 4: It's like it doesn't real. It's crazy.
- 23:53Speaker 1: It's absurd to me how good cameras have been for
- 23:58Speaker 1: so long.
- 24:00Speaker 3: It's pretty wild sounded like this one. This film was
- 24:04Speaker 3: one of the first ones using.
- 24:05Speaker 1: That very first, I think. I think there's trivia about
- 24:09Speaker 1: it the reason I know.
- 24:10Speaker 3: That's the only reason I saw it yet. But yeah,
- 24:15Speaker 3: aside from all that, it's still just such. It's an
- 24:19Speaker 3: amazing musical with some of my favorite voices between Ben
- 24:23Speaker 3: Crosby and Rosemary Clooney.
- 24:25Speaker 1: I just oh, which is beautiful.
- 24:28Speaker 4: So I love it.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Hot take pal, that's what I got.
- 24:31Speaker 5: That's a good one.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 24:33Speaker 5: You got kills well, similar to you bugs, this was
- 24:37Speaker 5: not on my family's radar, so I was introduced to
- 24:41Speaker 5: it after being there you go. So I always like,
- 24:47Speaker 5: after the.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Best decision of your life.
- 24:49Speaker 5: Ye, thank you for filming. He introduced me to both
- 24:55Speaker 5: White Christmas and It's a wonderful life. Those were not
- 24:59Speaker 5: So we watch the Christmas Story, yeah, and Diehard? Yes, yes, no,
- 25:09Speaker 5: my family watched The Christmas Story with rest, that's right.
- 25:14Speaker 5: So I introduced him to that and that's a different
- 25:18Speaker 5: vibe than these two movies. Yes, there's I think, like
- 25:23Speaker 5: the thing I've appreciated is that I think because I
- 25:28Speaker 5: was introduced to it by you, I always am thinking
- 25:32Speaker 5: of how you told me your parents reacted to it,
- 25:36Speaker 5: and so you know, when it comes to the scenes
- 25:39Speaker 5: honoring the general and like all of that stuff, like
- 25:42Speaker 5: I'm always thinking of your dad, and both of us
- 25:45Speaker 5: have family members that were in the military or in
- 25:48Speaker 5: the Air Force or whatever, and so I've like, I
- 25:51Speaker 5: think there's a way in which to see kind of
- 25:54Speaker 5: the reverence or ways in which people cared for and
- 26:00Speaker 5: things at that time. And you know, the hope is
- 26:04Speaker 5: that that remains, but I think, like I just always
- 26:07Speaker 5: think about those pieces when I'm watching it, and so
- 26:10Speaker 5: it really puts me in the fields. And it's been
- 26:14Speaker 5: really fun to introduce our kids to it because they
- 26:17Speaker 5: are like just singing the songs all the time, like
- 26:21Speaker 5: starting to sing sisters, or Lydia was singing love you
- 26:26Speaker 5: didn't do right by Me the other day when we
- 26:30Speaker 5: were watching this, or when I watched it for the
- 26:32Speaker 5: pod again, I watched it with the kids and my mom,
- 26:36Speaker 5: and so I've also like reintroduced my parents to it.
- 26:38Speaker 5: I don't know if they ever saw it beforehand, but
- 26:41Speaker 5: they now want to watch it every year. And so
- 26:43Speaker 5: there's something about the beautiful music, and I just am
- 26:48Speaker 5: such a sucker for the actual like Christmasy, like the
- 26:52Speaker 5: final whatever, we'll get to it, but the final stage.
- 26:55Speaker 5: It's just like so it's just so wonderful and heartwarming
- 27:00Speaker 5: for so many reasons. And so it's something that I
- 27:04Speaker 5: now come to really look forward to and enjoy every year.
- 27:08Speaker 5: And similar to what you were saying, honey, like it's it,
- 27:13Speaker 5: you know all of these things with like how do
- 27:15Speaker 5: you this balance between appreciating art and the person's like
- 27:21Speaker 5: flaws As a human or really significant issues is like
- 27:26Speaker 5: a tricky balance. But yeah, it's one that I really
- 27:31Speaker 5: like a lot, and I really like to hear our
- 27:33Speaker 5: kittles singing the songs.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Very cute.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Yea, I love it, very cute. I love it. Ah, Well,
- 27:43Speaker 1: what do we think should we go talk about our
- 27:45Speaker 1: favorite acting performance? Shall we name the dude the dude?
- 27:50Speaker 1: I'm the dude, so that's what you call me, you
- 27:53Speaker 1: know that, or his dudeness or duder or you know,
- 27:58Speaker 1: el dudo reno. If you're not into the whole brevity thing, Kelse,
- 28:01Speaker 1: do you want to go first?
- 28:04Speaker 5: Rosemary Clooney, Yeah, it's my dude. It's so funny that
- 28:08Speaker 5: you were talking about the I'm sorry I forget her name.
- 28:11Speaker 5: The other female actress, Vera Vera Ellen. Yes, this last
- 28:17Speaker 5: rewatch Lydia kept pointing out how she's like she keeps
- 28:20Speaker 5: looking at the camera or like these weird looks, you know,
- 28:24Speaker 5: she's like looking in these odd places. When you were
- 28:26Speaker 5: saying that earlier, I was like, yeah, you're right, so
- 28:30Speaker 5: but anyway, I felt like she was one of the
- 28:32Speaker 5: most believable, even in like the corniness where she had
- 28:36Speaker 5: to be like, let me listen to you talking about something.
- 28:39Speaker 5: But she was still I don't know, the most believable
- 28:41Speaker 5: and I really enjoyed watching her sing.
- 28:45Speaker 4: Beautiful voice.
- 28:46Speaker 5: I know, I love it, and so that's why I chose.
- 28:54Speaker 3: I went with Danny Kay because he's just so.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Much fun in this.
- 28:59Speaker 3: He's got comedy chops, the physical comedy, can sing and dance.
- 29:06Speaker 3: I love how he cracks his voice for comedic effect.
- 29:09Speaker 4: He does that quite a.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Bit a lot. It's real fun.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Maybe a crutch, but you know what, I really enjoyed
- 29:15Speaker 3: it every time. Yeah, A big fan. And yeah, dude,
- 29:23Speaker 3: when he's trying to stall the general from watching the
- 29:26Speaker 3: TV show by acting like he's heard himself, I mean
- 29:28Speaker 3: that is just grade a comedy. Yes, Danny Ka, big fan.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Love it. I love it. I went Rosemary Clooney as well.
- 29:40Speaker 1: I'm with you, Kelsea. And not that there's any wrong
- 29:44Speaker 1: answer for this, obviously, but I thought she was the
- 29:47Speaker 1: most believable character in the whole thing, like the big
- 29:52Speaker 1: sister slash, you know, like caretaker role that she takes on.
- 29:56Speaker 1: And also it felt like she, you know, that big
- 30:01Speaker 1: sister thing of like I take care of people. No
- 30:03Speaker 1: one sees me as like the beautiful one like that
- 30:07Speaker 1: is a stereotype that happens a lot, but I do
- 30:09Speaker 1: think it is kind of a stereotype for a reason
- 30:12Speaker 1: in a way, Like I think people can get lost
- 30:14Speaker 1: in that caretaking role a little bit sometimes when it
- 30:16Speaker 1: comes to that. And she was just great. I just
- 30:19Speaker 1: loved her, and I thought she was really like you know,
- 30:25Speaker 1: she still was optimistic and gray, but also like a
- 30:28Speaker 1: little realistic too because of that caretaker apart. I just
- 30:32Speaker 1: loved her and has an amazing voice, and it's gorgeous
- 30:36Speaker 1: as well, Like she was just to watch deep blue
- 30:40Speaker 1: deep Yeah, for sure, deep blue ridiculous, But yeah, I
- 30:50Speaker 1: really loved her a lot.
- 30:51Speaker 4: Yeah, well that's fine.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Well let's talk about some of the other characters, and
- 30:57Speaker 3: let's choose the Tucci.
- 31:02Speaker 5: So I went for Danny k for the Tucci. For
- 31:05Speaker 5: all the reasons that you named. I thought that he was, yeah,
- 31:10Speaker 5: just like the silliness and the like triple threat, like
- 31:15Speaker 5: doing all the things. He was just really fun to
- 31:19Speaker 5: watch and I think adds some levity and silliness to
- 31:25Speaker 5: the film. I don't know, I mean, yeah, I just
- 31:27Speaker 5: really liked his role and his silliness with Judy and
- 31:33Speaker 5: things like that. So yeah, he's who I chose.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Love it.
- 31:38Speaker 3: I would have picked Rosemary Clooney nice. So we just
- 31:42Speaker 3: kind of flippity flopped. But I feel like we should
- 31:46Speaker 3: bring up being Crosby for sorry.
- 31:53Speaker 4: Sorry right there. But dude, his.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Voice, I mean it's one of my favorite voices of
- 31:59Speaker 3: all time.
- 32:00Speaker 5: It's so beautiful.
- 32:01Speaker 4: It's butterim It's just so smooth.
- 32:04Speaker 1: It's just like it just relaxes you just calm.
- 32:08Speaker 4: Yeah, even into a.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Warm bath or something, it's just like, oh.
- 32:15Speaker 3: Yeah, like that count your blessing scene. Even him just
- 32:18Speaker 3: kind of talking about all the different foods and stuff.
- 32:22Speaker 3: You're just like I could just listen to you, just
- 32:25Speaker 3: tell me things.
- 32:26Speaker 5: He calms your nervous system, he does.
- 32:29Speaker 1: I just love his voice so much. He was fine
- 32:32Speaker 1: as an actor, but yeah, my voice, his acting wasn't great,
- 32:38Speaker 1: But it also didn't need to I don't know, because
- 32:40Speaker 1: he because he was kind of the straight man, you know,
- 32:43Speaker 1: like he didn't need to do a lot. He kind
- 32:45Speaker 1: of was the like ballast that danny Ka got to
- 32:49Speaker 1: like be crazy around, which is kind of fun. Yeah.
- 32:54Speaker 1: I love his voice. All great picks. I probably picked
- 32:57Speaker 1: all of them. Yeah, yes, there's not a lot of
- 33:02Speaker 1: other people in this movie, uh, that have big parts.
- 33:05Speaker 1: But I liked the major general a lot. Uh Jagger
- 33:12Speaker 1: award for something apparently, oh really, I didn't look it up,
- 33:18Speaker 1: but yeah, I just thought he was you could tell
- 33:22Speaker 1: why he was well loved, like he was a serious
- 33:26Speaker 1: man but also you know, cared about people deeply and
- 33:29Speaker 1: just wanted to do the right thing. And yeah, yeah,
- 33:32Speaker 1: sort of that like quintessential, Like the officers in arm
- 33:37Speaker 1: services are often like just very smart and have to
- 33:41Speaker 1: be so many things. You know that it's it's just great,
- 33:46Speaker 1: And I thought he was wonderful. He was older than them, which.
- 33:50Speaker 3: Is maybe dude, did you see that in the trivia
- 33:53Speaker 3: that he is younger?
- 33:55Speaker 1: Yeah, Bing Crosby is older than he is. Oh well,
- 33:59Speaker 1: and stuff happens. I guess it looked like fake gray
- 34:03Speaker 1: Is that you're gonna say?
- 34:04Speaker 4: It did look like fake gray hair?
- 34:05Speaker 1: Look like that.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Another thing I saw was Bing Crosby was fifty one
- 34:11Speaker 3: and Rosemary Clooney was twenty six.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Oh neat really in this movie? In this movie? Okay,
- 34:19Speaker 1: that's that crazy, yow you'd like it? Didn't like that, No,
- 34:27Speaker 1: she really didn't.
- 34:29Speaker 3: I think it says more that he doesn't look fifty
- 34:31Speaker 3: one in there than she doesn't look twenty six, but
- 34:34Speaker 3: I don't know. Yeah, Wow, that just blew my mind.
- 34:37Speaker 3: That's wid Yeah, I thought that was funny. Oh my gosh.
- 34:42Speaker 3: Somebody that I would love to bring up is Mary Wicks. Yeah,
- 34:48Speaker 3: I feel she's so funny.
- 34:50Speaker 4: What were you going to say?
- 34:50Speaker 5: I feel like she's the same character as like in
- 34:55Speaker 5: Sister Act. Yes, I mean, just like I love I'm
- 35:00Speaker 5: sorry to interrupt, go ahead.
- 35:02Speaker 1: No, I love that.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Sure, I was going to totally say that too. I
- 35:07Speaker 3: loved her and Sister Act. Yes, but yeah, she was
- 35:10Speaker 3: really funny, and you know, she gets all excited and
- 35:14Speaker 3: she kisses both.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Of them like long on the lips.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Yeah, she was really funny, but her nosiness made for
- 35:26Speaker 3: all of the conflict is annoying.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Yeah, she's very like Edith Bunker kind of vibes that
- 35:35Speaker 1: kind of character. I thought she was so funny.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Yeah, and then we can just say Vie Ellen's dancing
- 35:43Speaker 3: was really incredible.
- 35:45Speaker 1: It was really incredible. And to be honest, when she like,
- 35:50Speaker 1: she shows that she's actually interested in Danny. Kay. That
- 35:53Speaker 1: worked for me. I thought that was pretty good. That
- 35:56Speaker 1: was a lot of the rest of it was not great,
- 35:58Speaker 1: but yeah, that specific scene, I was like, yeah, okay,
- 36:02Speaker 1: that's great. But yeah, she was a great answer.
- 36:06Speaker 3: And I didn't know until this rewatch that that wasn't
- 36:09Speaker 3: her voice. I never I never looked up that it
- 36:13Speaker 3: was being sued by somebody else.
- 36:17Speaker 5: It was, oh my gosh, I'm learning so much.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it was re dubbed by It's in the in
- 36:25Speaker 1: the trivia here, but I went to her name.
- 36:28Speaker 3: Trudy Stevens was the voice wild.
- 36:34Speaker 5: She did suffer from anorexia, which.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Is very small.
- 36:39Speaker 5: Yeah, but like, actually that I had looked up one
- 36:42Speaker 5: of the years that I watched it because I was
- 36:44Speaker 5: just like, wow, that looks really.
- 36:46Speaker 4: Waste so things.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it's almost so hard to tell, right, because like
- 36:51Speaker 1: that is obviously so prominent for especially young women and
- 36:55Speaker 1: women in general in stuff. But it's also like some
- 36:58Speaker 1: people are just like just so skinny. Anyway, It's like.
- 37:02Speaker 5: Right, it's hard to tell, but I had looked. I
- 37:04Speaker 5: had looked it up because there's a few other like
- 37:06Speaker 5: physical features that were cueing me into.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Me that it was a fact.
- 37:10Speaker 5: And so anyway, so that's a tough part. But she
- 37:15Speaker 5: was a very good dancer.
- 37:17Speaker 4: Very good dancer crazy good.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Yeah, well sweet, why don't we uh, why don't we
- 37:22Speaker 3: move on to our favorite scene?
- 37:23Speaker 4: Let's choose the Dingus the Dingus.
- 37:26Speaker 1: So think this is quite simple, really Dingus, Dingus. I
- 37:30Speaker 1: could talk about my dingas all night long.
- 37:31Speaker 2: I'm gonna kiss you Dingis.
- 37:33Speaker 5: I mean, it's the end for me, one hundred percent,
- 37:36Speaker 5: like nothing else. I mean, there are some other fun scenes,
- 37:39Speaker 5: but the I mean it's like the thing you think
- 37:42Speaker 5: of when you think of this movie. And I just
- 37:45Speaker 5: also love everyone, like all all the things about it.
- 37:49Speaker 5: I love the Christmas, the outfits, I love the big tree,
- 37:52Speaker 5: I love the snow. I also love that every single
- 37:55Speaker 5: person is, like, you know, sharing like champagne and singing
- 37:59Speaker 5: it and in a group. I'm like, I'm here for it.
- 38:01Speaker 5: I wish it was in the room, like I want
- 38:04Speaker 5: all of that. So that's my favorite.
- 38:07Speaker 1: How would you feel about it? In the dead of winter,
- 38:09Speaker 1: they just opened the barn doors and everyone just gets
- 38:12Speaker 1: cold immediately. What are we doing here? Oh?
- 38:14Speaker 3: I don't think I think they were snow.
- 38:16Speaker 5: I think they were so excited.
- 38:18Speaker 1: I would it. I'm good, are you talking?
- 38:23Speaker 4: What are you?
- 38:24Speaker 1: I was?
- 38:26Speaker 5: She felt, Yes, I'm here snow.
- 38:32Speaker 3: You guys, I didn't say anything. I would agree it's
- 38:39Speaker 3: the end. I would have added the earlier, you know,
- 38:43Speaker 3: when when all the old army buddies.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Yes that is I mean that's my favorite part, right
- 38:53Speaker 1: but yes, like that, Yeah, the big surprise he comes
- 38:57Speaker 1: down in his uniform and the best. Yeah, it just
- 39:02Speaker 1: is greeted by a bunch of clapping and then it's
- 39:06Speaker 1: just so wonderful. So that's for sure number one for me. Yeah,
- 39:12Speaker 1: I'm in on that. We can clean sweep that for sure. Okay.
- 39:16Speaker 1: The on the other, not the only other one, but
- 39:18Speaker 1: the other big one that I thought about was the
- 39:22Speaker 1: the first time we see sisters and it's the two
- 39:26Speaker 1: ladies and then when the dudes do it like that,
- 39:28Speaker 1: it's hysterical. Yeah, it's so funny, fun right there.
- 39:31Speaker 5: It is perfect.
- 39:33Speaker 3: It is perfect, and they seem like they're just having
- 39:35Speaker 3: so much fun doing it, just a blast, like the
- 39:39Speaker 3: laughs in between, Like it just looked it looked like
- 39:42Speaker 3: a blast.
- 39:43Speaker 1: So yeah, that was my runner up too. It's so
- 39:46Speaker 1: funny rap because Paul from Sound Exchange, you know, yeah,
- 39:49Speaker 1: our buddy, he wanted to put the male reprise with
- 39:53Speaker 1: me and him in our Christmas show so badly. I
- 39:57Speaker 1: was like, dude, I'm in I've never seen the movie
- 39:59Speaker 1: but all and we never did, but yeah, that'd be
- 40:03Speaker 1: so funny. For sure.
- 40:05Speaker 5: You can see bing Crosby like real belly laughing like
- 40:09Speaker 5: der which is really fun. Like it makes me feel
- 40:12Speaker 5: like you're there and it's very real. I love that too.
- 40:16Speaker 5: I feel like sisters. And then the snow it's like
- 40:24Speaker 5: those be like the most I don't know, memorable or
- 40:30Speaker 5: like the ones that are or just the ones that
- 40:32Speaker 5: are like referenced a lot.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you know those ones. They see the weirdest cord
- 40:40Speaker 1: when they do the snow thing every time. I'm just like,
- 40:43Speaker 1: what is It's crunchy.
- 40:47Speaker 5: Little like a train.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Horn, but it's so I was just like, I don't
- 40:57Speaker 1: think you're just picking the right Yeah, I love that.
- 41:03Speaker 3: I also love I just love the song Count Your Blessings.
- 41:06Speaker 3: I think it's beautiful and that's a fun scene they're
- 41:11Speaker 3: falling in love. Very good scene. I love the best
- 41:16Speaker 3: things happen while you're dancing. I love that song as well,
- 41:19Speaker 3: the cutest and just quite a long dance, really dancing.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I totally While I was watching it, I was like,
- 41:30Speaker 1: I kind of get why people trim their tree to
- 41:32Speaker 1: this because you can kind of not check out, but
- 41:35Speaker 1: like you can totally check out grand for sure a second.
- 41:39Speaker 1: And it's no bit, you know, especially once you've seen
- 41:41Speaker 1: it a few times, like, yeah, you're good, you'll come
- 41:43Speaker 1: back for the part, you know, the big parts. But
- 41:46Speaker 1: it was funny because those dancinges were legit.
- 41:49Speaker 3: Yeah, and especially when you actually they're doing, like the
- 41:52Speaker 3: rehearsals on the stage like those ones.
- 41:56Speaker 5: Yes, crazy huge production. Yeah, it's cool.
- 42:01Speaker 3: And I always thought that was so funny. Then they
- 42:03Speaker 3: would just pan to the audience and it's the three.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Just maybe every show I ever performed.
- 42:12Speaker 4: Dude, the Neighborhood All Stars.
- 42:15Speaker 3: We do a big number and then bugs and two
- 42:18Speaker 3: other people are clapping.
- 42:22Speaker 1: It was at that time. I can't even remember, were
- 42:24Speaker 1: you the only one? The only thing I remember is
- 42:29Speaker 1: I was coming from from back home, and but Dad
- 42:32Speaker 1: and you guys held the door for me because well,
- 42:34Speaker 1: we might as well. Wait it's horrible, And I was
- 42:40Speaker 1: just like, I have to scream so loud for them
- 42:42Speaker 1: because this would be murder to try and to it
- 42:47Speaker 1: was gat. It was a great show. People coming to
- 42:51Speaker 1: your show is not a prerequisite for it being great, right,
- 42:54Speaker 1: But that's what I tell myself every night before they
- 43:02Speaker 1: was there. This, Yeah, that was one of the giant
- 43:06Speaker 1: Is that one of the big I just went down.
- 43:08Speaker 1: That whole scene was just wild and.
- 43:10Speaker 5: Ye yes, lots of places.
- 43:15Speaker 1: This is where apparently it once is hard.
- 43:17Speaker 3: Because I'm like, I was gonna say the lead male
- 43:23Speaker 3: dancer apparently became like a really big deal. I think
- 43:28Speaker 3: he won an Academy Award for West Side Story.
- 43:31Speaker 5: I was going to say he was he was very good, handsome,
- 43:37Speaker 5: checkeris Chakiris.
- 43:40Speaker 3: He's that guy, Okay, cool? Yeah, and he also danced
- 43:44Speaker 3: alongside Marilyn Monroe and Diamonds are Girls Best Friend and
- 43:50Speaker 3: yeah he went he won Best Supporting Actor in West
- 43:53Speaker 3: Side Story. So you know, just a featured dancer in
- 43:56Speaker 3: this and goes on and wins the Academy Award.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Wild. That's cool wild yea.
- 44:03Speaker 3: But yeah, I think we can all agree it was
- 44:05Speaker 3: the the end, beautiful, beautiful. Wait, well, why don't we
- 44:13Speaker 3: go and talk about some quotes and let's.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Show me the money, show me the money, show me
- 44:24Speaker 1: did you write any of these downs?
- 44:26Speaker 5: I did, So there's one, the one. I'll just start
- 44:29Speaker 5: with it because I'm always like, what are you saying?
- 44:33Speaker 5: I don't understand, and you know what I'm going to say.
- 44:35Speaker 4: Of course.
- 44:36Speaker 5: So it's well I like that without so much as
- 44:40Speaker 5: kiss my foot or having apple.
- 44:43Speaker 4: Having apple? So that what is that?
- 44:46Speaker 3: My parents have been quoting that for so long, like
- 44:50Speaker 3: that an apple, and it does say, well I like that.
- 44:53Speaker 3: I always thought it was.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Well, how do you like that?
- 44:56Speaker 5: That's what I thought.
- 44:58Speaker 1: That.
- 44:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I think think it was a typo on there.
- 45:01Speaker 5: Oh maybe it was, but the whole without so much
- 45:04Speaker 5: as a kisso having an apple?
- 45:07Speaker 1: Yeah, weird fifties slang who knows what, probably means something terrible.
- 45:20Speaker 4: Kiss your mother with that mouth?
- 45:24Speaker 5: That one you can keep, you guys can bring.
- 45:27Speaker 3: Oh okay, another another one from.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Her, which is, how do you do mutual? I'm shoe shoe.
- 45:37Speaker 1: That lady was so annoying, and also I loved every
- 45:39Speaker 1: second of it.
- 45:40Speaker 4: Yeah, she was fun.
- 45:41Speaker 1: That was the best.
- 45:44Speaker 3: When he is trying to distract the general Danny k Is,
- 45:47Speaker 3: he's like, oh, it's okay, probably just a small compound fracture,
- 45:51Speaker 3: and then he also says, that's probably just a small
- 45:54Speaker 3: muscular muscular hemorrhage. I wouldn't want a faint in front
- 45:57Speaker 3: of the women.
- 45:58Speaker 4: Sir, Yes we didn't, sir. I loved all that.
- 46:03Speaker 1: I love how much is wow?
- 46:06Speaker 3: It's right in between a between ouch and buying.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Wow. I love that.
- 46:14Speaker 3: How can a guy that ugly have the nerve to
- 46:16Speaker 3: have sisters very brave parents? I guess I thought that
- 46:20Speaker 3: was funny.
- 46:23Speaker 1: I like that a lot.
- 46:27Speaker 3: And what's her name? From sister act?
- 46:31Speaker 1: Yeah? What's her name?
- 46:33Speaker 4: Mary?
- 46:33Speaker 1: Wick's?
- 46:34Speaker 4: Emma is the character's name.
- 46:37Speaker 1: If I weren't such a mean old bitty, i'd break
- 46:39Speaker 1: down and cry. I like it so good he can
- 46:43Speaker 1: say some bugs. I love it. At one point they're like,
- 46:47Speaker 1: go to Smith. She can't even spell it. That was
- 46:51Speaker 1: real fun. I like that a lot. I also liked
- 46:56Speaker 1: when when they're first helping the sisters out and he's like,
- 47:00Speaker 1: would you stop worrying? We like to take care of
- 47:02Speaker 1: our friends, and they're like friends were practically strangers and
- 47:05Speaker 1: he's like, well, we'd like to fix that too. That's
- 47:09Speaker 1: a very solid line for him. Good for him. Uh,
- 47:17Speaker 1: let's just face it, Bob, You're a miserable, lonely, unhappy man.
- 47:21Speaker 1: And then he says it a couple of times and
- 47:23Speaker 1: it made me giggle. I liked it a lot. Uh yeah,
- 47:29Speaker 1: what else? Oh, when he's like, sure, but I feel
- 47:34Speaker 1: the same about my cocker spaniel. Yeah right, Yeah, I
- 47:40Speaker 1: love the whole thing. That was great, But you got
- 47:42Speaker 1: some more of there, kelse, Yeah, I.
- 47:44Speaker 5: Do some of the ones that I and I'm going
- 47:47Speaker 5: to see if I can read this right, But the
- 47:48Speaker 5: one where Phil says, my dear partner, when what's left
- 47:52Speaker 5: of you gets around and what's left to be gotten,
- 47:55Speaker 5: what's left to be gotten won't be worth getting whatever
- 47:57Speaker 5: it is you got left, And he's like, when I
- 48:00Speaker 5: get around to figuring out what that is, like, i'll
- 48:03Speaker 5: get back to you or something, but that one, and
- 48:05Speaker 5: then I want you to get married. I want you
- 48:08Speaker 5: to have nine children, and if you only spend five
- 48:10Speaker 5: minutes a day with each kid, that's forty five minutes,
- 48:13Speaker 5: and I'd at least have time to go get a
- 48:15Speaker 5: massage or something like that. One forty five minutes to myself, Like,
- 48:19Speaker 5: I feel like that's kept coming back.
- 48:22Speaker 1: Yeah great, Yeah, I like that too.
- 48:25Speaker 5: I like when the general said I got along very
- 48:27Speaker 5: well in the army without you, and Emma says it
- 48:29Speaker 5: took fifteen thousand men to take my place.
- 48:32Speaker 4: Like that, and then the like really.
- 48:43Speaker 5: Tender one like the general You're soft, you're sloppy, you're unruly,
- 48:48Speaker 5: you're on disciplined, and I never saw anything so wonderful
- 48:52Speaker 5: in my whole life. It's like, cry, I love that one.
- 48:59Speaker 4: That's such a good one.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the best.
- 49:02Speaker 5: That's great, I think.
- 49:04Speaker 3: Yeah, you said the other ones that I had for sure?
- 49:07Speaker 3: Oh yeah, oh yeah, deep blue.
- 49:11Speaker 4: That is great.
- 49:14Speaker 1: Oh and one that I say, and it's definitely from
- 49:17Speaker 1: this is the theater, the theater, what's happened to.
- 49:21Speaker 5: The the.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Yeah, that's great. It's the beginning of that choreography.
- 49:27Speaker 4: Number really made me.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Think of the it's in one of the Monty pythons.
- 49:32Speaker 1: Was like, oh, fish a fish a fishy. Oh, I've
- 49:36Speaker 1: ever heard that. It's so funny, but it's very similar
- 49:40Speaker 1: read which nice.
- 49:43Speaker 4: That was all I had though, Oh.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Oh, I liked the I think it's impossible, ridiculous and insane.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Oh yes, that all I wish I'd have thought of
- 49:53Speaker 1: it myself. That that was really fun between the two
- 49:56Speaker 1: guys their repartee in those couple of scenes are so
- 50:00Speaker 1: it's the best. That was the last one I had.
- 50:03Speaker 3: Nice, Well, let's go to be Boohoom moments game. I
- 50:08Speaker 3: picked three. I say, when Bob goes on TV and
- 50:13Speaker 3: explains he wants to make the General's Christmas special, and
- 50:16Speaker 3: Betty watches, realizing she misunderstood Bob's intentions. Of course, when
- 50:24Speaker 3: the General comes down in his uniform and is greeted
- 50:26Speaker 3: by a bunch of clapping absolutely, and then this might
- 50:31Speaker 3: have just all been one. But then him saying that
- 50:34Speaker 3: I never saw anything look so wonderful in my whole life.
- 50:37Speaker 1: I did sort of discount that as one. But I
- 50:39Speaker 1: did point out that line because that line got me
- 50:41Speaker 1: for sure.
- 50:42Speaker 3: Yeah, and then I don't know, maybe maybe apart by
- 50:46Speaker 3: the Christmas tree, them singing White Christmas, maybe at the end, yep,
- 50:50Speaker 3: if we're gonna yeah, you got it sweet.
- 50:53Speaker 5: I mean I undershot because I just said the whole
- 50:56Speaker 5: end of the movie when he comes I kind of
- 51:00Speaker 5: lump when he comes down the stairs to the end.
- 51:03Speaker 5: As one. I guess it's not because there are some
- 51:07Speaker 5: different musical numbers in there. I do love g I
- 51:11Speaker 5: wish I was back in the army.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Remember, by the way, that's a great too. It's a
- 51:17Speaker 1: great song.
- 51:19Speaker 5: But yeah, I didn't think about that other one, so
- 51:20Speaker 5: I undershot that's a good one. Were there anyway, minced?
- 51:24Speaker 1: There's just one more and it's a tricky one because
- 51:28Speaker 1: I've never seen this, but the White Christmas right out
- 51:31Speaker 1: the Gate just got this song so much.
- 51:37Speaker 5: Well they were like.
- 51:38Speaker 1: Over yeah the war and all that stuff. So yeah, yeah, for.
- 51:44Speaker 4: Sure another hot take.
- 51:49Speaker 3: That wall that's gonna fall on him is so clearly
- 51:53Speaker 3: a set.
- 51:55Speaker 4: You mean, it's terrible.
- 51:57Speaker 1: I don't understand. What are you saying.
- 51:59Speaker 5: There's a few. There's a few of like when in
- 52:02Speaker 5: the best best things happen when you're dancing, like beach scene,
- 52:08Speaker 5: it's like.
- 52:08Speaker 2: That is.
- 52:11Speaker 1: Up so great. Yeah, yeah, it's almost like you shouldn't
- 52:17Speaker 1: have tried to make it look real, because that's almost worse,
- 52:19Speaker 1: like you just tell us it.
- 52:21Speaker 4: Yeah, but at.
- 52:24Speaker 5: That time, maybe, yeah, you know, we.
- 52:28Speaker 1: Could do well, what do you say, should we do
- 52:31Speaker 1: a little trivia? According to Rosemary Clooney, the midnight snack scene,
- 52:37Speaker 1: which is great, probably should have brought up, but which
- 52:42Speaker 1: Bob expounds on this theory of what foods caused, what
- 52:45Speaker 1: dreams and all that was almost entirely improvised, which is
- 52:48Speaker 1: pretty fun. That is fun. That's pretty great. Apparently, according
- 52:54Speaker 1: to all the actors. Basically, the sister's performance of the
- 52:58Speaker 1: Two Fellers was not a rig in the script. They
- 53:01Speaker 1: were clowning around on set and the director Michael Curtis
- 53:04Speaker 1: thought it was so funny that he decided to film it.
- 53:07Speaker 1: In the scene, Crosby's laughs are genuine and unscripted, and
- 53:10Speaker 1: he was unable to hold the straight face due to
- 53:13Speaker 1: Kay's comedic dancing. Clooney said the filmmakers had a better
- 53:17Speaker 1: take where Crosby didn't laugh, but when they ran them
- 53:20Speaker 1: both people liked the laughing version way better, which I
- 53:23Speaker 1: think makes sense. So yeah, it's all night. Y'all nailed it.
- 53:30Speaker 1: This was the first film photographed, it says, but filmed
- 53:33Speaker 1: in this division, which is a radical departure from the
- 53:37Speaker 1: other wide screen formats of the area of the era. Apparently,
- 53:41Speaker 1: this division did not extend the width of the screen
- 53:43Speaker 1: as much as it increased the size of the filmed
- 53:46Speaker 1: area of the negative, which made things really sharp and
- 53:49Speaker 1: much more clear, I guess. So yeah, I just thought
- 53:53Speaker 1: that was really interesting. And they filmed one hundred one
- 53:56Speaker 1: hundred or so films in this division, is all. But
- 53:59Speaker 1: they have lived on as the clearest, most vivid when
- 54:03Speaker 1: transferred to the high definition home video formats. So that's
- 54:07Speaker 1: kind of cool.
- 54:08Speaker 5: It's really cool.
- 54:09Speaker 1: Yeah, but they must have come up with something slightly
- 54:12Speaker 1: cheaper or something. I don't I guess I don't know that,
- 54:14Speaker 1: but that'd be interesting to learn just about the filming
- 54:18Speaker 1: throughout history of film. Yes, I probably won't. In an interview,
- 54:23Speaker 1: Rosemary Clooney once quipped that this could have been a
- 54:26Speaker 1: near perfect movie if only they could have dubbed her
- 54:28Speaker 1: dancing as well.
- 54:30Speaker 4: Hey, I think was bad, but.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Good line. According to Danny Kay in a TV documentary
- 54:41Speaker 1: on Bing Crosby which aired after Crosby's death, Crosby was
- 54:45Speaker 1: initially glove during filming White Christmas, having just lost his
- 54:48Speaker 1: wife Dixie, and Kay decided to try and lighten Crosby
- 54:53Speaker 1: up by improvising the vamp Ding Sisters, which in which
- 54:57Speaker 1: he repeatedly hits him in the stomach with the feather
- 54:59Speaker 1: fan and he broke up and you know, was laughing,
- 55:03Speaker 1: and then he said it was a much better atmosphere
- 55:06Speaker 1: on set after that. So that's kind of cool. So
- 55:09Speaker 1: he was trying to like get him going a little
- 55:11Speaker 1: bit too, which is fun. Although we already said that
- 55:17Speaker 1: Dean Jagger was six months younger. This was nineteen fifty
- 55:22Speaker 1: four's most successful film. The second most successful was The
- 55:27Speaker 1: Cane Mutiny, which also featured Rosemary Clooney's husband, jose Fahreer.
- 55:35Speaker 1: They had a good year. Fifty four was a good
- 55:36Speaker 1: year for that. I loved it. Originally, the plan was
- 55:41Speaker 1: to reunite Crosby with his Holiday inco star Fred Astaire,
- 55:44Speaker 1: but Astaire turned it down as he had temporarily retired
- 55:48Speaker 1: at the time. Donald O'Connor was cast as crosby co
- 55:52Speaker 1: star and what he hoped to be a reprise of
- 55:54Speaker 1: his successful dance partnership with Vera Allen from Call Me
- 55:58Speaker 1: Madam in nineteen fifty three. But while fieling while filming
- 56:02Speaker 1: Francis Joins the W A C S just another movie title, Relax,
- 56:10Speaker 1: O'Connor contracted a severe bout of something called Q fever
- 56:15Speaker 1: from his co star Mollie. I don't know what Q
- 56:18Speaker 1: fever is. Yeah, just shot in the foot, not even
- 56:22Speaker 1: an apple or whatever she says. But Danny k was
- 56:26Speaker 1: cast as a last minute replacement. What a great last
- 56:30Speaker 1: Yeah that worked out just fine. I'm gonna look up
- 56:35Speaker 1: would have been great too, of course, of course, Uh
- 56:39Speaker 1: they did put Uh he had temporarily retired at the time,
- 56:43Speaker 1: which is that like a euphemism for something. I don't
- 56:47Speaker 1: think so.
- 56:48Speaker 4: I think he had retired. And then he was like, oh,
- 56:50Speaker 4: I need to make put it.
- 56:53Speaker 1: It makes it sound like he was in rehab or
- 56:54Speaker 1: something like he know, he retired to the state penitentiary.
- 56:59Speaker 1: For the last one that I have is the snow
- 57:04Speaker 1: used at the end of the film is actually asbestos.
- 57:06Speaker 1: So that's fine, a pretty common thing I've heard about
- 57:10Speaker 1: other films, right, Oz, there was asbestos in that too,
- 57:16Speaker 1: or something.
- 57:16Speaker 4: That would makes sense silly twenty years earlier.
- 57:21Speaker 1: Yes, take a big whiff. Yeah, I'm looking up Q fever. Rob,
- 57:28Speaker 1: did you find any trivia?
- 57:31Speaker 4: We had said? He had also sung why Christmas?
- 57:34Speaker 3: In Holiday? And the other one was Blue Skies, another
- 57:38Speaker 3: great Irving Berlin song that was in this for a
- 57:41Speaker 3: little bit, and for the song g I wish I
- 57:44Speaker 3: was back in the army. There's the lyric Jolson, Hope
- 57:47Speaker 3: and Benny all for free. This is a reference to
- 57:50Speaker 3: three wartime entertainers Al Jolson, Bob Hope and Jack Benny.
- 57:54Speaker 3: The original words were Crosby Hope and Joelson all for free,
- 57:58Speaker 3: but the lyric was changed because with being Crosby in
- 58:02Speaker 3: the cast, the original lyric would break the fourth It's fun.
- 58:09Speaker 5: I like that.
- 58:11Speaker 4: What's q fever?
- 58:13Speaker 1: Nothing really interesting?
- 58:14Speaker 4: Sounds like.
- 58:17Speaker 1: It might be.
- 58:19Speaker 4: Hey, do you remember?
- 58:20Speaker 1: I hope someone remembers when they got it. Some of
- 58:26Speaker 1: these are just for us, guys, all right, just for
- 58:29Speaker 1: our friends who listen to this that are brand. It's
- 58:32Speaker 1: gonna text me now. I love that. Well, what about
- 58:40Speaker 1: Judgment Day? Do we think there'll be a sequel? I
- 58:43Speaker 1: think yeah, Welcome to Red Christmas. I love it. Yeah,
- 58:53Speaker 1: I don't.
- 58:54Speaker 3: Probably not, No, definitely not. I could definitely do a
- 58:58Speaker 3: remake though.
- 59:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I would be interesting. It's so good.
- 59:06Speaker 3: Yeah, but everything's being remade.
- 59:09Speaker 1: I could absolutely see that happening. You're right, who would
- 59:13Speaker 1: do it? That's the real question. Gosh, I don't know either.
- 59:18Speaker 1: I'm sorry I asked.
- 59:20Speaker 4: Even think about it. Do you guys want to play
- 59:22Speaker 4: a game?
- 59:23Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 59:24Speaker 1: I'm starting five?
- 59:25Speaker 3: Actually you know what, Nope, I didn't write that down right,
- 59:28Speaker 3: I did a quote.
- 59:29Speaker 1: Game rop only reads what's written.
- 59:32Speaker 4: Now, I was like, wait a minute, I didn't do
- 59:36Speaker 4: a starting five. I did the quote game.
- 59:39Speaker 3: So I'm going to say a quote, and then you're
- 59:41Speaker 3: gonna have to give me the name of the film,
- 59:44Speaker 3: the character who said it, and the actor who played
- 59:46Speaker 3: that character, so you can get three points for each one.
- 59:52Speaker 3: There's no negative points you ring in with your name.
- 59:56Speaker 3: All of these might have you know something to do
- 59:59Speaker 3: with this movie. There's a theme. If you know the theme,
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: you can ring it at any time for a point,
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: and we.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: Can steal, right. I think we can steal this one.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: You can steal if somebody doesn't get a question right,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: for sure, that'll be me. I won't get it right.
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: No, no, no, he won't.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Cool. We feel good strong, you're here and we're here. Okay, nice.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: I love that I'm contractually obligated to play.
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: This to be here.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Some of these tough. I feel like.
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: You're gonna be very kind to me, but maybe you're not.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: No, I'm not. I just stick to the theme.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: So see how we need to go about Okay, sounds good.
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: Sounds good?
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: Number one, the quote is.
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: Magic mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: of all.
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: Bukes?
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: It's from five Maleficent four. That is not correct that
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: you were trying to track Sleeping Beauty. That is not correct, Hamrick,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: what is it?
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: It's snow white? And sorry the Seven Doors.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Yes, so I'll give you half a point for that.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Do you know who said it?
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: The I was gonna say the Wicked Witch. That's not
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: right kind of is it Maleficent?
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Uh? No? And then do you know the actress who
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: said it?
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: No?
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: No, I don't know.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Do you know what the character's name is?
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: Are you talking about the remake of this movie or the.
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: Really old one?
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: Uh?
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Yeah? What is I don't what is that character?
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: The evil Queen?
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Evil Queen? Is that right? It wasn't your turn anymore?
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: It was his turn.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: He can take it. It was the Queen, just queen.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: Working with her.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: She got it half a point because she said snow
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: white after it was all done.
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: I'm sorry, He's okay.
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, movies with the word white in the title.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: That's it's not that because there's not enough that I
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: could do with white.
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: Wo white or Christmas No?
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Okay, Mmm, let's go to the second one.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: Just Bury Me in the Ocean with my ancestors you
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: jumped from.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: That is from the first Black Panther film, Just Black panther. Yep,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: that is Michael B. Jordan.
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: He be that one.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Kill Monger is his character name? Okay, that's his last name? Okay?
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: Is it Eric Killmonger, Eric Killmonger?
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: Yah, nice job? All three points. I guess that is
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: my name.
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: Technically the theme is it movie titles with a color
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: in the title?
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Got it? You got a point?
- 1:03:18Speaker 5: I got one full point?
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: You sure did?
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: Thanks see done here so close the first time.
